Assurance of Answers and the Answer of 25

2023.04.09 District Message
Scripture Reading: Mark 11:24

We are standing before our important missionary convention. We are also praying, “What is the temple that God most desires in this age?” At such a time, you must receive important answers.

The assurance regarding the answer is important. It does not simply mean to “believe firmly,” but rather to hold on to the precise covenant. Only then will the 25 answers come. In the Gospel of Mark 11:24, it says, “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.” Does this mean that if you pray with faith, a mountain will actually move? Has a mountain ever moved? What does this mean? You must understand this clearly.

▣ Introduction
[Mark 11:21] Fig tree
To understand this properly, we must begin from verse 21. Before verse 21, what happened? As Jesus and His disciples were on their way, Jesus saw a fig tree hoping to eat its fruit, but there was none. But Jesus was not someone who would act rashly. He cursed the fig tree. The disciples should have asked, “Lord, why did You curse it?” They should have asked, because it was not the season for figs. The Bible clearly states that. Then why did He seek fruit when it was not the season for it? Why curse it when it naturally had none? They should have asked that question. But they didn’t, so Jesus gave no answer. Then, later, they passed by and saw, “Oh! The fig tree has withered!” That’s verse 21. Then the quick-tongued Peter said, “Oh! The fig tree has really withered!”

If we are not careful, our walk of faith becomes like that. Isn’t that so? The Word of God is revealed, but we don’t believe. Then when problems occur, we say, “Oh?” and when answers come, we get excited and say, “Oh, the answer came!” That’s dangerous. No, when Jesus spoke the Word, we must ask, “What does this Word mean?” Instead, people just react to sermons. Sermons themselves are not the main thing. The preacher can only preach according to their own measure, but you must hear the Word of God. If they had asked, that night a tremendous message would have been given, right? And they would have received great answers.

Why must we hold this missionary convention? What is the meaning of temple construction for our church in this age? Why are so many multiethnic people coming to Busan, to this small corner? Why did the evangelism movement that began here 30 years ago spread to the whole world? We must ask many such questions. Only then will answers come. Only when we hold on to the precise covenant will answers come. But they failed to hold on to the precise covenant earlier, so later they said, “Oh? It really withered!”

This fig tree symbolizes the nation of Israel, right? It is the national tree of Israel—just as the hibiscus is the national flower of Korea. Jesus deliberately went to find fruit even though there was none, symbolizing Israel. The fig tree withering represents the future of Israel.

[Mark 11:22] Believe in God
Then Jesus said, “Have faith in God.” What is there that God’s power cannot do?

[Mark 11:23] The mountain
Then He said these words. Before verse 24, verse 23 says, “Even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed,’ it will move.” God can move it. When He said this, it was based on the premise that we humans cannot move a mountain. Isn’t that true? If someone could pray and move mountains, there would be no need to say this. But we can’t. Yet He said, “If you believe, even a mountain can move.” That means that God’s power can move mountains. The power of God has already been shown—Jesus even raised the dead. That is verse 23.

[Mark 11:24] What you prayed for, [believe], and it will be done.
Then in verse 24, today’s main passage, He says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” “Believe that you have received it.” It does not say “will receive it.” This is something we must pay close attention to. Wouldn’t it seem natural to say, “Believe that you will receive it”? But He said, “Believe that you have received it.” Understand this. From the day I understood this, I began to receive answers. “Ah, I see. Believe that I have received it?” When you pray, God hears. Believe that He has heard. What you say becomes imprinted in your brain. Believe that you have received it. When will the answer come? That’s just a matter of time—it’s certain. We often speak carelessly, but eventually it is fulfilled.

Sometimes, I see believers, church leaders, or remnants who are sharp-minded—it’s good to be discerning—but some are very critical. It’s not entirely bad; in some ways, it shows intelligence. But the problem is that their life ends up that way. That’s the problem. It’s natural to get angry when there’s something to be angry about. But if you constantly live in anger, your life becomes that way.

“Believe that you have received it.” If you truly prayed holding onto the covenant, then believe that you have received it. Isn’t that right? Even if the answer hasn’t come yet, believe that you have received it. If the covenant is accurate, then God’s plan is sure. I prayed. Therefore, believe that you have received it. Then it will be done for you.

There was once something unbelievable. I may have told this story before. It was when our church had just been planted. A deacon called me urgently to come to his home. When I arrived, his daughter had lost her mind. She wasn’t like that before—she was calm, working at a company, faithfully attending Sunday service. But now she was out of her mind. “Since when?” I asked. “About three days ago,” he said. The deacon, desperate, asked me to pray. We held a worship service, but she couldn’t stay still—making noise, shouting. We barely finished the service, but after that, she got even worse. I started to doubt. “It’s not working…” I thought. It was a Wednesday. I left, saying I had to prepare for the service. On the way, I thought, “I definitely prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. God surely heard my prayer. And the evil spirit inside that woman must have also heard my prayer.” That conviction came upon me. It wasn’t that I healed her. When I got home, another call came. I felt uneasy, but they said she was even worse and that they were going to take her to the hospital. Without thinking, I said, “Deacon, please wait a little longer.” He said, “Okay.” That very evening, a work took place. The evil spirit said, “I can’t live in this house anymore. Why are you tormenting me? Why? Is Jesus tormenting me?” Have you ever heard something like that? Then it left. She came back completely fine. So I believe this passage: “Believe that you have received it.”

No gospel, no spiritual strength, no ability
The Israelites at that time did not really know the gospel. They were given the gospel but did not understand it. They had no spiritual strength. And because they lacked spiritual power, they had no ability to overcome great nations. That is why Jesus said, “Have faith in God. If you believe that what you prayed for has already been given, it will be done for you.”

Today, hold firmly to the accurate covenant and pray. No matter what others say, in the wilderness they still entered Canaan. The situation may seem difficult, but they entered. That is God’s covenant. Those who prayed received answers; those who complained did not enter. “According to your faith, it will be done.” This is a very important word.

▣ Main
When such important tasks lie ahead, you must hold on to the accurate covenant and pray.

  1. The name of Jesus Christ
In what name do we pray? In the name of Jesus Christ. We have no right to pray otherwise. God established it this way.

1) Promise
There are so many promises. Though there is no time to go over them all now, Jesus Himself explained this about seven times. He promised.

2) Answer
He promised—and how did He promise? He promised an answer. In the name of Jesus. That is clear. Next, what must we do? Hold onto the Word. The covenant must be accurate; if we pray holding onto the wrong one, it won’t do. Also, we must understand spiritual things—the kingdom of God. Then we must confirm: is this God’s will in His timetable? Only then will the answer come. And if something seems off, we must realize our own mistakes. When we pray together in one accord, answers come.

3) Five types
There are five types of answers. You must remember this well. First, some answers come immediately. Some come later. Some don’t come—because we prayed incorrectly. If we prayed wrongly, it’s better not to receive. Some come from the opposite side—you prayed in one way, but the answer comes from another direction. And sometimes, before you even pray, God gives the answer beforehand. We can’t always understand it. But overall, the key point is this: God promised to answer our prayers. Through the name of Jesus Christ who moves the power of the throne. Through the name that broke Satan who long enslaved us. Remember this.

  1. Work
Then, what happens when we pray? We must know what happens.

1) Within me
What happens within me when I pray? Three things. Genesis 1:27 — we are clothed with God’s image. Genesis 2:7 — we receive the breath of life that God breathed. Genesis 2:18 — God’s presence comes into our lives as in the blessing of Eden.

2) From above
Things from above come upon us—the power of the throne. When we pray, the power of the throne comes, and from then, transcending time and space, the light of 237 shines.

3) Hidden things
Things we never expected—hidden things—are revealed. What are they? Unprecedented and never-repeated blessings. Such things never happened before. There has never been anyone like you before. That is the unprecedented blessing. There was never someone who knew the gospel and worked faithfully in their field like you. Remember this well. There are many who run businesses, but are there many who know Christ and do business like our elders? No. There are many members of parliament, but how many truly know Christ? That’s why it’s not very important to me personally, though necessary for the nation. There are many professors, but how many truly know Christ? We have such professors in our church—that’s what makes it important. Unprecedented blessings. Remember this. Answers come according to spiritual state, so we must hold the covenant correctly. And what happens? We save the three ages. This is the work. The hidden thing.

  1. Spiritual concentration
Let’s look at the spiritual concentration of the seven remnants who had the assurance of prayer answers. Since prayer brings answers, you must have areas where you can focus. That’s why we worship.

1) The room
Joseph prayed alone as a slave and in prison—like a “room prayer.” No one knew, but that turned everything around. There will be such times when no one can help you, when you have no one to speak to. Joseph found the power of focused prayer there.

2) Mt Horeb
Moses had his mother’s covenantal prayer since childhood, yet until the age of 80, nothing happened—until Mt Horeb. He prayed with deep concentration.

3) Ark of the covenant
Samuel couldn’t even stay at home; he grew up beside the ark of the covenant. That’s what is needed. Today must become such a day for us. Isn’t that so? Today, the day of worship, is your Mt Horeb. Samuel lay beside the ark of the covenant when no one else was there.

4) Shepherd
Who recognized David? No one. He was alone in the mountains tending sheep. There, David concentrated in prayer. May it be so for you today.

5) Jordan River
While other prophets were calculating and hesitating, Elisha followed Elijah all the way to the Jordan, saying, “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit.” That’s it. Others acted halfheartedly, but he went all the way.

6) The window
Look at Daniel. From captivity to the end, he always prayed facing Jerusalem three times a day before God. Such prayer is needed.

7) Only, solely, completely
The early church held to this covenant and prayed “only,” “solely,” “completely.” These all mean the same—utter devotion to prayer.

That is today. If you believe, that becomes your home. When you believe, that becomes your bartizan. Isn’t that so? If you get angry though you don’t want to, that becomes your bartizan—so don’t let it happen. If you doubt, that becomes your bartizan. May today be a day of important covenant.

▣ Conclusion
Genesis 1:3
The conclusion is this: this light shines upon you (Genesis 1:3). The light of creation shines. Try praying for someone sincerely—the light of creation will shine. But there’s a condition. It’s not about “I want to live well.” We must do world evangelization. If you don’t, who will? Pray, “God, grant me the economy of light to accomplish world evangelization.” Then the light shines.

Isaiah 60:1–2
In a completely ruined situation, God says, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

1 Peter 2:9
When Israel was in its hardest time, God called someone like Peter and raised him up: “You were called to proclaim this light.”

In other words, the conclusion is this: you have been called as watchmen of prayer. The watchman is someone others do not see—one who guards, helps in danger, shines the light, and saves when crisis strikes.

Today will truly be such a day. I am certain of it. Whatever may have come upon me, it doesn’t matter. God will surely come upon your work and upon you who hold the right covenant, with His light. May today be a day of important worship—a day of resurrection. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You for giving us this important time to worship You on this Resurrection Sunday. Let us build the bartizan that saves ourselves, our fields, and the world. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Assurance of Guidance and the Answer of 25

2023.04.02 District Message
Scripture Reading: Mark 3:13-15

Because God exists in an unseen way, He is certain. What is seen cannot transcend time and space, so it is uncertain. That is why those who worship idols become confined to space. Thus they become seized by evil spirits. The Triune God accompanies us in an unseen way. To the extent you have this assurance, the 25 answers come. So Jesus did not call just anyone, but “called those whom He wanted.” The church must be a place where anyone can come, but people must come to become God’s people. If they come for something else, that is not the church. We must raise up special churches, but the church must also be a place where those who are lacking can come. That is the church. Many people do not understand the church. The highly educated must come to church, but those who are not educated must also come. And there are rich people, but the poor must also come and receive grace.

So He called those He wanted and said He called them “to be with Him.” That is companionship. That itself is evangelism. “And to preach.”

And He said it was “that He might give them authority to cast out demons.” Many believers do not understand this word, and many pastors as well. Why would Jesus say this? Sixty to seventy percent of Koreans hold ancestral rites. They serve demons. In the United States, with a population of over 200 million, three demon-possessed organizations dominate. In our country there are more than 300,000 shamans. They are now struggling to register as a religion. If they succeed in registering as a religion, considerable problems will arise. They exploit democracy to achieve such registration.

That is not all. Much of today’s culture has turned into a demon culture. The recent accident in Itaewon—this was also a demon-culture movement. Many of our posterity, not knowing, are completely seized by demon culture. What do you think, saints? I want to ask pastors. I especially want to ask theologians. Should we leave this as it is any longer? In Japan, they have turned even children’s toys into demon culture. Who is doing this work? Satan is. The church just sits still, knowing nothing.

[ Engraving ] [ Answer – Eternal ]
So why are you sitting here worshiping? Because what is engraved will surely bring answers. It will never go away. Then what must we engrave right now? Without re-creation it will not change. It will not go out. Without Christ it will not work. You cannot change it. What is once engraved remains forever. That is why we are worshiping now. That is why we go and try to deliver the Word to those in difficulty. You must understand why answers do not come immediately. They come as they are engraved. They come to the extent they are engraved. When you speak of Christ to your children and, upon hearing once, the child senses, “Ah, Christ is so good,” that is when it is engraved. When they sense, “Ah, God’s Word is truly good,” that is when it is engraved. That goes on forever. How important this is. Therefore worship properly. It is the time of engraving. Engraving happens during worship. It does not engrave at other times.

[ Root ] [ Fruit ]
At other times, roots go down. No matter what anyone says, fruit is borne to the extent roots go down. If the roots go down deep, much fruit is borne.

[ Nature ] [ Destiny ]
Then, what has become your nature changes your destiny. There is nothing you can do about it.

Therefore you may have many anxieties within you. All of that becomes engraving, root, and nature. It brings fearful results. So without Christ it cannot be resolved. That is why Christ said, “He called them to be with Him.” This is a very important word.

▣ Introduction

  1. Matthew 4:19
So Jesus did not speak casually but spoke like this. Do not think of it as difficult: “Follow Me.” “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
  2. Matthew 28:16–20
And He said, “I will be with you always,” and that “with all authority in heaven and on earth.” This becomes engraved. Then it takes root and becomes your nature. At that time amazing things happen—world evangelization takes place. Then it does not matter about you. World evangelization takes place through even one person—you.
  3. Mark 16:15–20
Jesus spoke. In Mark 16:15–20, at the end He spoke directly. It says, “The Lord who sat at the throne worked with them,” and clear evidences appeared. “In My name demons will be cast out”—of course. “They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Even if you drink deadly poison, it will not harm you.” Because you have stepped into the work of proclaiming the gospel and because there is evidence that God is with you.

[ 〔1〕·〔3〕·〔8〕 ]
So in the end, how did Jesus conclude? He concluded like this (1·3·8) and ascended. This (1·3·8) is the conclusion Jesus gave. Christ explained God’s kingdom and Only the Holy Spirit.

24·25·eternity
What happens when this becomes 24·25·eternity? You must be able to wait for this.

The reason Koreans do not receive answers quickly is that we are impatient. Koreans are so impatient. About 25 years ago I went to Thailand. There was a boat on a river or at sea. Someone must have written in paint on the boat, “Hurry up and come.” In Korean. So they all know the Korean “ppalli-ppalli” (quickly-quickly). The Japanese do things slowly. Koreans are extremely impatient. So answers must come quickly too. Then they even swallow things that are not answers. Truly impatient. Among those who are even more impatient—what will happen? Koreans drink coffee in one gulp. There is no way to drink slowly. Candy should be melted slowly, but we crunch it down. That’s how Koreans are. I am Korean too; though we have many good qualities, there are truly many strange things.

I feel a bit embarrassed when I go abroad. Japanese women, even when several get on (a vehicle), ride quietly. When a few Koreans get on, they chatter noisily. The Japanese look over like this. In a rush. There is no need to hurry. Unless this (engraving, answer – eternal, root, fruit, nature, destiny) is set, the answer will not come. No matter how much you hurry, it will not come. If this (engraving, answer – eternal, root, fruit, nature, destiny) goes into something else, it will not be corrected. No matter how much you complain, it will not be corrected. This is very important.

Jesus did not speak nonsense during this important time. He spoke important words. Acts 1:1—“the former book”—this means Christ. He Himself explained about the kingdom of God for 40 days. And He said something definite: “Only”—nothing else will do—only. “When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power and be My witnesses to the ends of the earth.”

People take this and, of course, special prayer is needed, but just pray as you work. 24. Right? Try working—you’ll find many hard things. Pray 24. This is where the difference appears. Then there is no other difference. Only this difference. There is no difference between pastors who cannot carry out the gospel movement and me. Many are far more excellent than I. But this (1·3·8, 24·25·00) is the difference. Just enjoy this (1·3·8, 24·25·eternity). Then answers come.

“You say that, but what if difficulties come when we go to church?” The impatient then say so. It is not like that. Thinking that way is the problem. No problem can overcome these (the points in the introduction). Right? No disaster that strikes your family can overcome Christ, God’s kingdom, and Only the Holy Spirit. Right? Not knowing this, you have engraved the opposite in abundance. That is why. Engraving wrong things in abundance—unknowingly, the roots go down. One day, though you have done nothing wrong, strange things keep striking your home. Then destiny is being determined. It may look like nothing as you come, receive the Word, and pray, but it is not so. It begins to become like this (engraving, answer – eternal, root, fruit, nature, destiny).

Therefore, during the cell-lesson time, do not force children; they must feel it is fun. Right? That is when it is engraved. Children like funny teachers. In the past, when I attended church, there was a very funny assistant pastor. Everyone loved him. But he never spoke the gospel. And there was an “assistant pastor with a bag of stories.” When he came out, he told so many entertaining stories. It helps in some ways. But he, too, never spoke only the gospel. They never spoke this (1·3·8). That is the problem. So I could not realize the gospel from youth to adulthood. I had never heard it. They kept telling respectable stories, those kinds of stories—just like the Pharisees. They kept telling only such things and not the gospel. You must remember this well.

Only·Uniqueness·Re-creation
If things remain like this, do you know which answer comes first? What you do for a living may seem like nothing, but the “Only” answer comes. Right? You were a nobody, but this emerges in you—Uniqueness. At last, the re-creation that saves that field emerges. When things have been engraved, rooted, and formed as your nature, this (Only·Uniqueness·Re-creation) appears. For example, if we spend just three days continuing to worry, what happens? Problems come immediately.

I went to a conference in the United States. A certain pastor—famous, a professor and such—a person like that came to a conference, and in Washington someone came to see him. Because he was famous, they came and said, “Pastor Ryu Kwang-Soo, please declare that Darakbang is a heresy. They are evangelizing too actively—we must stop them.” At that time, he was still a professor—a lecturer—and now he is a pastor. But he was a very conscientious person. “Can I say it is heresy when I do not know if it is or not?” He said he worried all night. He searched materials, went on the internet, contacted people. He said that no matter how he looked, it was not heresy. He was a wise man. He could tell that the writings were slander—he knew it by seeing them. There were more accusations. “Ah, this was done like this.” He understood. So on the first day of lectures the next day, he kept sipping water as he came out. He said, “No matter how I think, I worried all night and prayed, but Darakbang is not heresy.” On the spot he was expelled. A three-day conference was canceled. Even more absurd—when he returned to the school, he was fired. He was so stressed. Then he came asking to meet me. Immediately under that stress, his blood pressure and blood sugar rose and he collapsed. If you become engraved-rooted-natured for just three days like that, it can happen. As he left, he gave me a phone number and said, “Please contact here and be sure to take care of your health.” He didn’t seem malicious.

WITH·Immanuel·Oneness
What evidences come at this time? They come to me, and others recognize them too. WITH. “Ah, God was with me.” When is it that I, myself, receive the greatest answer, the greatest grace? When I sense, “God is with me.” Immanuel. “God is with the church and with us.” I thought everything was hard and difficult, but as time passes I see this. I see the blessing of Oneness.

Up to here are the answers of companionship that come. You must have assurance of this. In the church, and also at the headquarters, there are many who labor. In a way, you have the most difficult task. If you enjoy these blessings (all the foregoing), you are actually doing the most important work. In many places of the church, there are many who work hidden, unseen. That is even more important. And though many do not proclaim the gospel at all, we alone are now proclaiming the gospel to America and to the world. You are working in that. You must know that those who work hidden in the church and hidden in the headquarters are important. You must make this (all the foregoing) a chance to enjoy blessings.

▣ Main

  1. WITH – Wherever you are
Then, if you have the blessing of WITH, what answer arises? It does not matter where you are. Right? This is important. If you do not enjoy the blessing of WITH, even a small problem makes you struggle.
  2. Immanuel – Whomever you meet
If you are enjoying the blessing of Immanuel, it does not matter whom you meet. If you do not constantly recognize this blessing of Immanuel, you change according to whom you meet. Right? Meet a wicked person—you absorb wickedness; meet a strange person—you become strange; meet a somewhat good person—you get better. It becomes like that. Your children and posterity must not become like this. They must meet and enjoy these blessings (of the main message) so that it is fine no matter whom they meet.
  3. Oneness – Whatever happens
And if you enjoy the blessing of Oneness, it is fine whatever happens. In fact, you are already receiving this blessing. You just do not realize it. If you come to know, you will enjoy many things. Thus when you begin to receive this answer, you realize that you are important. “Ah, I am important.” Whatever it is—even if it is cleaning—it does not matter. Is this not Joseph? He became prime minister even while cleaning. So many of our remnants and young adults worry a lot: “What work should I do and where should I go?” No need. If you enjoy to the highest degree where you are, the next answer comes. You must remember this. Therefore, wherever you are, whomever you meet, and whatever happens, it is fine. This is not comfort—it is fact. You must have the eyes to see this.

For 40 years, while carrying out the evangelism movement, the hardest struggle for me has been this: so many people around me speak strange words, act strangely, fight, have conflicts among themselves—so many. Unimaginable things—beyond words—astonishingly many. I enjoy these blessings (of the main message). I always conclude, “Ah, it is my fault that I came to hear such things.” Even when it is not. I am clearly not a thief, yet if people keep saying I look like a thief, there is a problem. Right? I have never swindled anyone, but if they call me a swindler, I must think about that a bit. Right? If you conclude like that, many things open to you. Then these blessings (of the main message) come. I have experienced this for 40 years. We must respect people, but we must look even more carefully at God’s Word.

Then let me simply give a few examples.

  1. WITH – Wherever you are

1) Joseph
Joseph. Please read the cell-lesson book carefully; I am now just explaining.

2) Triune God
And the Triune God is always with me. Joseph continually enjoyed this blessing.

3) Answer, non-answer
And there is something you must surely remember. Answers are answers, and non-answers are also answers. Because God is with me, that is the answer. Joseph helped a chief official while in prison, but after the official was released, he forgot Joseph. That was the answer. We might say, “How could he? So unfaithful—he neither visited me nor helped me.” But for Joseph, that was the answer.

  1. Immanuel – Whomever you meet
As for the blessing of Immanuel—you know many examples, but I will give only one.
    [ David ]
David. There are many examples, but he seems to have enjoyed it the most.

1) Spiritual system
If you set up only the spiritual system with assurance of the blessing of Immanuel, all the blessings of meetings will come. Simply put, if you pray a little, are not deceived, and enjoy these blessings (engraving, answer – eternal, root, fruit, nature, destiny), then all meetings will come as answers.

2) Church
From then on, whereas before you fell into trials when you went to church, from then on the church becomes an answer.

3) Witness – evidence
From that time, when you go to church you go as a witness and carry evidence.

As you worship today on the Lord’s Day, the most important thing is that you come to worship carrying the evidences from last week’s message—then it is different. I deliver many messages, but the most important point is this: I must not speak my words. So I hold to the evidences God has given and stand again as a witness. Today as you worship, you must also find this: “God is with me—what evidence is this?” You must find it and carry it. When a problem comes, you must not go to sleep holding the problem. It gets engraved. If you sleep thinking, “Why is that person like that?” you must not. Remember this. Everything comes from there. You must surely receive the answer God gives and then sleep. Then evidence must come. You bring that evidence to church. What is your problem right now? Do not carry that problem as-is to worship or to bed. You must find the answer. Even if it is so big that it will not come quickly, it does not matter. What is the characteristic of Joseph and David? They held the answer.

  1. Oneness – Whatever happens

1) In advance
Therefore all things work together for good, and from then on you begin to see this in advance.

2) Way
You go into the field—Joseph and others went on difficult paths. All of that became the way to fulfill God’s will—all became blessed paths. Because when combined, answers arose.

3) All incidents
In all incidents you now see Oneness. This is not mere comfort. It is absolutely so.

Today, on the Lord’s Day, you must hold to the covenant of peace and pray. Then do not go into deep prayer to find an answer—receive God’s answer. Take that and worship today and return. Then during the week, if you have cell meetings or regional church gatherings, you testify and present the evidences directly. People truly come to life. Thus the small work you do will be changed by God into a precious work used for world evangelization.

▣ Conclusion (Philippians 3:1–21)
Let me conclude. Paul said something important in Philippians 3. Paul was very learned. If Paul had been uneducated and had said these things (Philippians 3:1–21), it would be a bit strange. “I consider all knowledge and what I have had until now as refuse and loss. I have now learned that the knowledge of Christ is the most excellent knowledge.” He said astonishing things. “I have not attained anything. I have done nothing,” though he had done an enormous amount of work. At the time he confessed this, he had done tremendous work. He should have said, “Until now God has done many works…,” but instead he said, “I have done nothing.” Looking precisely, that is correct. Because all was done by God’s grace. “I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.” And he spoke of “the prize given from above.” Paul had a reason to speak so. What he had so much of was unnecessary—the prize from above. Lastly, though he was a Roman citizen, which was great, he said not that but “citizenship in heaven.”

Peace (answer)
There you truly gain peace, and as this becomes engraved, rooted, and your nature, all healing takes place. Do not try to fix yourself; with thanksgiving, change your engraving, root, and nature. Today was a bit long, but do not worry about those with spiritual problems—change the engraving, root, and nature. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Let this be a precious day of receiving great grace from God as we worship all day. Let a new challenge begin to change my engraving, root, and nature. Make us witnesses who receive true answers. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

The Assurance of Salvation and the Answer of 25

2023.03.26 District Message
Scripture Reading: 1 John 5:11-13

〔Nation〕 〔Healing〕 〔Summit〕 – 〔Answer〕
If you use your Sunday well, it becomes an immensely valuable time. When you worship, the kingdom of God is being established. And while you are worshiping, healing takes place without you even realizing it. You must worship to that extent. Even if the answer does not come immediately, if you worship properly and hold firmly to grace, you will become the summit. And you cannot memorize everything you hear in the message, nor is it easy to remember it all. Even pastors, if you ask them, may not remember the sermon from last week, because they deliver so many. The best thing is for you to receive an amazing answer through this—through the nation, healing, and summit—while worshiping today. Even if you get something wrong, it’s okay. If you truly pray, God will correct it for you. And sometimes, due to our personality, we may hold onto things excessively. Then God adjusts it for us. When we are weak, He strengthens us. This—nation, healing, summit, and answer—is the most precious timetable for worshiping throughout the entire day. And since our environment is good, I’ve even seen some people praying while basking in the sunlight on a mountainside. That’s good.

When I first began entering the field for the evangelism movement, I was shocked by what I found. Naturally, I met believers—and unbelievers as well—but among ten people, all ten had no assurance of salvation. What can you do then? They believe, attend church, but have no assurance about what salvation really is. One time, while I was holding revival meetings around the country, a revivalist named Pastor Shin Hyung-Kyun invited me to his church. He was more pure and sincere than I expected. When I gave a message, he laughed and clapped with joy—something most people would not do. He asked me to continue training his church. He was very sincere, and he wanted me to train his church officers and evangelism disciples.

But that time, my team made a mistake. At Pastor Shin’s church, there were church leaders, and our team led them all to pray the prayer of acceptance. That’s how pure Pastor Shin was. When he heard about it, he said, “Ah, our church really needs training.” Yet his assistant pastors opposed it. He was so honest that he told me directly, “Hey, my assistant pastors seem to feel pressured, so they’re opposing it.” I quickly realized what was going on and said, “It won’t proceed well, so it’s better not to continue this time.” And he agreed.

Why am I sharing this concern? Because even people who go to church are like that—they lack assurance of salvation. They’ve received salvation but have no assurance of it. Moreover, there were people who came to our Darakbang meetings, received grace, and later joined heretical groups like Shincheonji.

“Christ” – The absent one [Seat] – Thought, heart, soul, background → [Brain] ← [3·9·3]
This means that Christ is missing within me. “But I believe!” you may say. Yet what’s missing is the seat of salvation and of the Holy Spirit. In theological terms, there is a concept of the “seat” of salvation—where salvation is established. If the Holy Spirit of salvation has taken His seat, assurance comes. But if not, you waver. Theologically, this seat of salvation is the soul. We have thoughts and hearts, but the most important thing is our soul, which is connected to eternity. All these important aspects reside in the brain. When the brain is weak, many difficulties arise. When this part—thought, heart, soul, background, brain—changes, healing takes place. So, if any of you are struggling, even with depression, don’t be discouraged. These parts—thought, heart, soul, background, brain—must change. When the blessing of 3·9·3 comes upon these, it becomes power.

Even if change hasn’t happened yet, there’s no need to despair. It just means that these areas are still weak. You know Christ, but you must be strengthened. Ultimately, those who have many spiritual difficulties are like that because this part has not yet been changed.

Introduction
Because this is not taking place, about five kinds of confusion arise. You must help such people. In church, the sermon is already set, but you can continue speaking personally to people you meet. Church leaders, because of the blessed position God has given you, can help others effectively. Of course, it’s helpful when pastors care for believers, but when church leaders do it, people feel deeply cared for as fellow members of the church.

1. No assurance
Because they don’t understand these things (Christ—the absent one; seat; thought; heart; soul; background; brain; 3·9·3), they lack assurance. It’s not that they have no faith or that they are wrong; they just haven’t gained this assurance. That’s why, in your local districts and regional churches, you must help people with this. Just a little help produces great results. For example, among teenagers—some get into trouble, commit crimes, go to the police station. But if you help them a little in this area (thought, heart, soul, background, brain) and help them accept Christ, tremendous change takes place. Who would want to live that way? Some people go in and out of prison ten or twenty times. You must help them.

2. No guidance of the Holy Spirit
Even while attending church, they cannot be guided by the Holy Spirit because they are weary. You must help them in this.

3. No answer to prayer
They know within themselves that they have no answers to prayer. Thus, they lose strength to pray. If we realize that prayer brings answers, wouldn’t we pray with strength? But it’s not happening.

4. No understanding of salvation
They keep hearing the message but have no deep understanding of what salvation really is.

5. No discernment
Because they are spiritually weak, they cannot discern properly. They don’t know the content of salvation or how to distinguish between the work of the Holy Spirit and the work of Satan.

Main Message – Local Districts, Regional Churches, the Three-Day Weekend Age
Just thinking about this brings answers. You will gather in your districts, meet in regional churches, and especially during the three-day weekend age of our church, our remnants will come. What a precious opportunity! You only need to remember three words.

1. Genesis 1:27
This restores the original blessing of God’s image and salvation that was given to us. You must remember these three Bible verses.

2. Genesis 2:7
“The Lord God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life”—your soul must come alive.

3. Genesis 2:18
Finally, the blessing of the Garden of Eden must be restored in our lives and families, but since we are not enjoying it, you must explain this as the core.

1. Genesis 1:27 [Christ – The Way]
How can we receive this blessing of Genesis 1:27? We cannot do it on our own, but that is not a reason to despair. God opened the way through Christ. That is the first point. The starting point of salvation is not people seeking God, but God sending Christ to seek us. Through Christ, He promised to give us strength and salvation. Those who suffer true spiritual problems cannot solve them by their own strength. They have no way, so God must change them—and that change happens when you explain it. Without explanation, they cannot change.

[Ephesians 2:1] [Ephesians 2:2] [Ephesians 2:6]
You must read these verses carefully. They explain that people are “dead in their transgressions and sins.” You must explain what sin and transgression are—most people don’t know. Sin means leaving God; transgression refers to the wrongs that follow. Since people left God, it’s natural. God gave Christ as the way to save us from this. Ephesians 2:2 says people “follow the ruler of the kingdom of the air.” They follow the spirit of the world. When problems arise, they go to fortune tellers. But Christ has set us free from that. Ephesians 2:6 says we had no qualification to go to heaven, yet “God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms.” That means He resolved our past, present, and future.

Some people stand on the street holding placards. One kindly says, “Believe in Jesus and go to heaven.” Another harshly says, “Jesus saves; unbelief brings hell.” Maybe someone will be saved even seeing that, but strictly speaking, that’s not entirely right. It’s not “believe in Jesus and go to heaven”—you must be saved to go to heaven. The moment you know and believe in Christ, you are freed from the past (Ephesians 2:1), saved in the present (Ephesians 2:2), and later go to heaven (Ephesians 2:6). When you meet the sick, don’t say, “If you believe and pray, you’ll be healed.” Say precisely, “If you receive salvation through Jesus Christ, you become a child of God. As a child of God, the Holy Spirit works in you, and when you pray, you receive answers.” Accuracy matters.

You, too, must pray with Genesis 1:27, 2:7, and 2:18. One day you’ll realize, “Ah, this is how God is leading me.”

A professor at Korea Maritime University once testified to me: Many institutions contacted the university about a faculty hire—even the Prime Minister called the university president. The president, overwhelmed, told his staff to cancel the entire recruitment. Later, a new round opened, and this deacon was hired. He said, “I had no background or connections—I just submitted my résumé. I believe God sent me to this university because there are students who must receive the gospel.” That’s exactly right.

In your journey ahead, such answers will come. Did the king of Egypt want to appoint a Hebrew as prime minister? No. But he couldn’t avoid it. That’s how the answer came. So don’t worry about your job—just receive the best answer where you are. Even in cleaning, you can succeed. As you enjoy this blessing through worship all day, one day you will confirm, “Ah, this is how God answers.” You must taste this. Otherwise, you’ll be swayed by every voice.

2. Genesis 2:7 [Assurance – Gratitude]
When this blessing comes, through Christ, assurance and deep gratitude arise. You say, “Ah!”—that’s thanksgiving.

3. Genesis 2:18 [Evidence]
Then, evidence begins to appear. The Triune God works invisibly, truly. That’s how He works. That’s why when worship begins, the pastor always says, “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

The Throne
When the blessing of the throne comes upon you, that is called the “kingdom.” “He spoke about the things concerning the kingdom of God for forty days.” When this answer comes, you begin to see transcendence of time and space, and the 237 nations. One day, while worshiping, an unprecedented and never-repeated answer will come—that is the answer.

The Three Ages
Then evidence comes that changes your past, present, and future—the three ages. Don’t lose hold of this. From that moment, prayer becomes natural and easy.

Conclusion – [Prayer] [Rhythm]
I truly love praying. Prayer now has rhythm for me. Honestly, I have many frustrating matters. I must pray. Even abroad, while others rest, I must work and prepare messages all night. I can’t enjoy tourist sights. When assistants say, “Pastor, this is the restaurant we visited before,” I don’t remember. Life passes like that, and it’s often exhausting. Many people around us—when we converse—don’t connect well. You must pray.

1. Set times
If it’s hard, just set a specific time to pray, even briefly.

2. Unceasing
Then prayer will begin to flow naturally. That’s unceasing prayer. When this happens, health and many other blessings come.

3. Concentrated
When important matters arise—good or bad—take them before God in concentrated prayer.

Pray like this during today’s worship. May you receive great spiritual strength, and may it become a time when even hidden illnesses are healed by God’s power.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Let us enjoy and proclaim the best things You have given us today. There are so many suffering people who struggle because they have not heard; grant us the blessed life to share the gospel with them. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

The Reward of God and the Answer of 25

2023.07.02 District Message
Scripture Reading: Matthew 10:40-42

This week’s theme is the reward of God and the 25 answers. At least once, you must think about what kind of relationship there is between you and evangelism. Even if you don’t yet evangelize, when you begin to think about it, your direction with God gradually becomes aligned.

Now, God spoke about world evangelization, but the Israelites could not even imagine it. So inevitably, they had to go as slaves—because God’s Word is always fulfilled. Right? When you look at it that way, even though we live each day as if nothing special is happening, God’s plan is being fulfilled through it all. In the Old Testament, prophecies were given about each nation, and every one of them was fulfilled exactly. The Bible prophesied that Egypt, Assyria, and Babylon—then great powers—would all collapse, and indeed they did. Jesus Himself said that “not the smallest letter or the least stroke of a pen will by any means disappear.” The Hebrew language is full of small marks, so when He said that not even a dot or stroke would disappear, He meant every detail of God’s Word will be fulfilled.

What if you always thought about evangelism? Or better yet, what if your life were designed so that you could always continue thinking about evangelism? Then a great road would open before you. When I was an assistant pastor, I went to the field every day—it just happened naturally. Now my focus is clearly set: 237, healing, and the summit, which includes the 5000 tribes. These are the three courtyards. And our “three-day weekend age”—this is the evangelism I’m thinking of. Then we begin to see how God fulfills everything step by step.

Evangelism is about doors opening—not so much about producing many results, but about knowing where I am spiritually. It’s an important question to consider. I’ve said this before, but it was such a shock to me that I’ll say it again. When I was in military training, it was unbearably hard. Of course, not only for me—it was hard for everyone. But through that hardship, I discovered something: I realized that “I” didn’t exist there. In the military, the self is erased—but even so, I wondered, “Why do I feel like this?” Then I thought briefly, “Maybe in this unit of several thousand soldiers, God has prepared a disciple.” If so, someone must deliver the gospel. Then it should be someone who can give the gospel accurately.

When I thought that, a miracle happened. It wasn’t instant, but over time God arranged it. Out of several thousand soldiers, though I was the lowest-ranked private, I somehow began giving a message once a week. That’s impossible, yet God made it happen. The officer in charge of ideological training had run out of things to say, so he said, “Does anyone have something to say?” A fellow trainee—now Pastor Kim Dae-ryong in Gyeongsang Province—was beside me and urged me to go up. I hesitated, “Why should I go?” But the officer saw this and called me forward. What could I say in front of thousands? Thankfully, I was standing at the very back, so walking forward gave me a little time to pray. That was God’s work. When I finally spoke, thousands of eyes widened. I myself was amazed at what came out of my mouth. From then on, every week when the ideological session came, the officer said, “You, speak again.” So I began to gently include the gospel, little by little.

Evangelism is where God’s direction and mine meet. Yet for a long time, I didn’t see results. I thought, “Since I’m an evangelist, I must make my department grow.” Sounds right, doesn’t it? But that was completely wrong thinking. I was thinking, “I must make revival happen.” Others didn’t know, but I was spiritually off. What would I do after making it grow? That wasn’t the gospel. When I truly came to understand the gospel and began to receive some answers, compassion rose within me. Even with my dull mind, I could see that the youth knew nothing of the gospel. Without realizing it, I started talking with them. Most middle and high school students are not in their right mind. From what I see, very few live with a clear mind. They’re forced to study, go to school, go home, come to church—just living by obligation. Evangelism aside, could we just leave them like that? Someone must let them hear the gospel, gain strength from prayer, and then study—that’s obvious.

As I did that with the students, doors began to open, and without even realizing it, I began visiting nearly every middle and high school in Busan. I was simply doing that. Theologically, Kosin University in Busan is quite solid, and that’s where I enrolled. From then, I began preparing for evangelism. I saw things beyond description.

If I divide my life into two parts, they are: before knowing the gospel and evangelism, and after knowing them. When I didn’t know, my life was honestly harder than that of unbelievers. Everything was difficult. I kept struggling to escape hardship, but ended up doing the wrong things. To people, it didn’t look wrong, but before God, it was. Then I realized, “I must proclaim the gospel, enjoy it, pray with it, and let others know.” After that, everything changed.

So for you too—it’s not right for a businessperson to abandon their work and just go around evangelizing. A teacher must teach students properly; if they neglect that and just shout “Jesus is the Christ!” people will think they’re strange. That’s not to say don’t evangelize—it means, are you within the evangelism that God desires? That’s what matters.

▣ Introduction: A Cup of Cold Water
Today, in the Bible, Jesus said, “Even a cup of cold water will not lose its reward.” In Matthew 10:40–42, after showing the evangelism field, Jesus said this to His disciples. He said, “Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever receives a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.” So even if you are not a disciple, if you receive a disciple in the name of a disciple, you receive a disciple’s reward. “Whoever welcomes you welcomes Me, and whoever welcomes Me welcomes the One who sent Me.” Then He added, “Even a cup of cold water given to one of these little ones will not lose its reward.”

You must think about this at least once—especially when your life changes. For example, when you move from high school to college, think about it. When you go abroad, think about it. When change occurs in your life, without realizing it, you may begin aligning with God’s spiritual direction. The answer isn’t complicated. Someone once asked me, “Pastor, why does my family have two people with spiritual problems? One is hard enough.” It’s because God has given you a sign—He’s calling you to stake your life on that work. Since you didn’t recognize it quickly, He sent another, to make your calling clear.

The Economy of Light
From that moment, the economy of light begins to be restored—not just any economy, but the economy of light.

Darkness and Disaster Broken
Even though you have no strength of your own, because of you, the darkness and disasters collapse.

▣ Main

1. True success
So what is true success?

  1. 237 – Future generations.
Those who are used for the true evangelism and true missions movement for the 237 nations and the future generations—these are the truly successful ones. Being used to save future generations scattered around the world—there is no greater success.
  2. 100, 1000, eternity.
Evangelism connects to answers that last a hundred years, a thousand years, even to eternity. It may seem small, but that’s how it works.
  3. Slaves, captives, colonies, wanderers.
Why were so many people sent as slaves? Because they were already living as slaves—to Satan, as captives, as colonies, as wanderers scattered worldwide. That’s the biblical account. If you are in the position of saving even one of them, that’s true success. Even if you don’t do evangelism zealously, think about it. If the rest of your life is used to save others, that’s true success.

2. Spiritual warfare
This is entirely connected to spiritual warfare. So, those who never think about evangelism and those who think about it daily—of course there’s a difference. Thankfully, for the past forty years, I’ve been in this stream—not for the purpose of making my church grow, but within the flow of evangelism itself.

  1. Transcending time and space.
I deeply understand this phrase: “transcending time and space.” The problems of Genesis 3, 6, and 11 are problems that transcend time and space—so the answers and battles we face must also transcend time and space.
  2. Darkness and light.
This is the spiritual battle that shines light into the midst of darkness.
  3. 99.9% – 0.1% absolute possibility.
99.9% of people do not know the gospel or evangelism. But the 0.1% who know the gospel and evangelism change the world. The absolutely impossible becomes absolutely possible. You must be in this blessing—so that one day your future generations’ studies, jobs, and work will stand at the center of saving the world.

3. Spiritual problems – the problem solver.
No matter how great a person is, no one can solve spiritual problems. The reason we engage in spiritual warfare isn’t to fight—it’s because God has called us to be problem solvers. When I go to a field and meet someone, I don’t rush to evangelize; I observe and pray. Soon, I see it—the spiritual problem. I don’t tell them immediately but wait until they ask me; then the answer is powerful. That’s evangelism. It’s an important task. Everyone is going somewhere, but even wealthy people who don’t know God have serious spiritual problems—they just hide them. The day the gospel enters them, they come to life.

When we say someone is good at studying, it usually means they’re good at reading and academics. But the human mind that studies without God can face serious issues. Among those who commit suicide, few are unintelligent. People are often shocked: “That person was so smart—why did they die?” Often, those with high intellect face spiritual problems faster. So we must give them the gospel.

Likewise, popular entertainers or talented musicians—people say they have “charisma,” but spiritually, it means they are extremely sensitive. If no one gives them the answer, what happens? Even in church, they seldom hear the true gospel—only law. So they never find the answer. You are the ones who must give it. You may speak to one person, but that one soul represents the universe and the throne of God.

3·9·3
In summary, this is what we must proclaim: 3·9·3.

  1. The three offices of Christ.
Through Christ, the curse is broken and the way to meet God is opened. The true Prophet who gives salvation in His name, the true Priest who removes disasters, and the true King who crushed Satan.
  2. The Triune God – the Spirit.
Through Christ, the Triune God works in us invisibly by the Spirit. That’s why Jesus said, “God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”
  3. The throne.
God promised to work with the power of His throne wherever you go.
  4. Past, present, and future.
He promised to completely heal your past, present, and future. This is the third “3.” This is the blessing you are to enjoy entirely.

This is what we pray about, what we proclaim in the “upper room” meetings and team ministries. Simply put, we proclaim these truths—Christ’s three offices, the Triune God working by the Spirit, the power of the throne, and healing of past, present, and future. Prayer is enjoying and transmitting this. As this becomes imprinted in you, works begin to arise. When remnants study while enjoying these powers, they develop true talents—talents that can work in the 237 nations.

▣ Conclusion
Let’s conclude. Then you will gain influence.

70 workers.
Jesus first sent out seventy workers. In the Old Testament, there were also seventy elders. This is important—it means influence over seventy regions and seventy nations.

Regions.
Your studies and work must influence seventy regions—that’s how world evangelization happens.

Nations.
Your influence will extend to seventy nations—it will spread easily.

Right now, the messages we deliver in worship are broadcast to over a hundred nations. In some Muslim countries where preaching the gospel is banned, they still allow broadcasts. So the gospel spreads. As we send messages worldwide, what should we send? Nothing else is needed—just the Word that lets people truly live, delivering it on their behalf.

Churches closing their doors.
If you are praying for this answer, remember: the final mission of our church is to save churches that are closing worldwide. That’s our mission. We must save the closing churches in Korea. While we may have grand dreams for world missions, there are many pastors in Korea who cannot even continue ministry—they are too weak. I hope we can revive them. Of course, we must raise and send capable ministers, but from God’s view, many pastors today cannot evangelize or sustain their churches—they are dying spiritually. We must start by saving them.

If God answers you with the economy of light, nothing will be impossible. Bill Gates, who is involved in the Nephilim movement, recently donated 60 trillion won. The demon-possessed Mormon movement announced last year that they would build massive landmark temples worldwide. If we pray, God can make things happen. Someone once thought, “It would be wonderful if people could fly.” That thought became airplanes. When Abraham heard, “All nations will be blessed through your seed,” he might have thought, “Then something must carry us across the sky!”—but he couldn’t imagine it. Someone later thought, “If we had telephones, the whole world could communicate.” The man who first thought of it was Alexander Graham Bell—his name became the word “bell.” Someone must think it first. When we pray, history begins.

Today, throughout the Lord’s Day, may all healing take place within deep grace, power, and prayer. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today will be the greatest day of blessing.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Grant us new strength. Open our spiritual eyes to see the mysteries of God. Let this worship become a day of blessing where, through prayer, we experience Your power. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

God’s Judgment and the Answer of 25

2023.06.25 District Message
Scripture Reading: Luke 16:19-31

Look at Ecclesiastes 3:15 in the Bible you have. Ecclesiastes 3 says that there is a timetable for every matter and every person. In verse 15 it says, “That which is, already has been, and that which is to be, already has been.” It then says, “God seeks what has been driven away.”

Now, what we need to see this week is God’s judgment and the 25 answer. In fact, there are many who are living their life of faith amid hardships.
Ecclesiastes 3:15
But what you should not think of as so hard is this: as Ecclesiastes 3:15 says today, what was before is what has appeared now. Because of that we keep trying to be discouraged. “Why am I not doing well?”—we try to be discouraged like this. It was there before. In a sense, it is natural. From there, we must find God’s important plan. And though we think of many hopes for the future and dream dreams, what is in the future also was in the past.
「Root」
It is this important—what is fundamental.
[ Spiritual Summit (Top) ]
So when you give Sunday worship, the most important thing is to gain much spiritual strength during the week and enjoy this (spiritual summit). “Summit” is a word used of whom? It is a term used for presidents. It is a term used for kings—summit. So it is the very top. That is why when presidents meet we call it a summit meeting. That is the term. This summit refers to those who have ascended to the very highest top. So the education we teach to our remnants is “summit.” But the summit that the Bible speaks of is not the current summit of presidents or kings. The answer you must surely find is this (spiritual summit). When the spiritual summit is set, everything begins to be seen. You must surely receive this blessing. But remnants, though young in age, can become this (spiritual summit). As you know, figures like Joseph and David were young in age, but in reality spiritually they were higher than a king. This is important. This (spiritual summit) does not show at all. It does not show, but there is something there. So Daniel went to do errands, and the kings found answers through him.

Acts 1:8
So Jesus expressed it like this at the end: “When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power. Then you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Right now, most pastors say that the church is difficult. It is not that they lack faith or their character is wrong; it is that they have not found this (spiritual summit). When you find this part, answers become visible and I know the path I must go; but since they do not find this, it is hard to live in a difficult world. You come on Sunday, give worship, and must live through the whole week—if you have this (spiritual summit), you will surely become a witness. This (spiritual summit) is possible only for believers. Therefore most people are missing it. So it becomes very hard. It is doubly hard. Unbelievers live as they please in the world and suffer hardships, but we are not even that. Unbelievers live as they please and die. We are not even that. You must surely receive this blessing.

So when we speak of God’s judgment, one might understand it as “God will judge,” but that is not the point; there are two kinds of people.
John 8:44 (children of the devil) — hell
They themselves do not know and are offended, but Jesus diagnosed it. How offensive a statement is that? He called an unbeliever a child of the devil. It is extremely offensive, yet it is true.
1 Corinthians 3:16 (temple) — heaven
He called a saved person of God “a temple” in 1 Corinthians 3:16.
So what judgment are we speaking of? In the end, they go this way (to hell). That is the judgment. Because they inevitably served the devil, they must go to hell. When children are playing and the sun sets, they go home; they do not go to someone else’s house. They cannot go to someone else’s house. They must go to their own home. You do not go to heaven because you are very admirable; you go because you became a child of God. The reason even a very admirable person goes to hell is that they are a child of the devil.
[ Background ]
The problem is that this is a judgment, but it is also a present background. This is frightening. They have not yet gone, but this is their background.
[ Belonging ]
And in reality their belonging is like that. There is no way around it. My soul, my destiny, my belonging is either to this side (John 8:44, child of the devil) or this side (1 Corinthians 3:16, temple). Therefore those who do not know God, no matter how they try, suffer in vain and die. You have received this (1 Corinthians 3:16, temple) blessing, but since you are missing this (spiritual summit), strangely it is hard. You must surely find it.

▣ Main
Now, we cannot find everything in a single stroke today, but we must know three things.
1. Eternity
First, what is it? Your life does not end; it is eternal. Unbelievers say that when you die it is the end. It is not so. That is the saying of those who are going to hell—“end”—but it is not even “ending”; it is being ruined forever. If you look closely, this is frightening. You can tell when a person dies—there are signs. Those who have not received salvation—when ordinary people die, their mouths close. But some people speak. We have seen many who are on the verge of death. As an assistant pastor, when we go to visit those in difficulty, we often see this.

Amazingly, those who have not received salvation, the words they speak when dying are the same. Words—when their mouths close, they cannot speak; but when the mouth is open, they speak. They themselves have no will left. They simply speak things as they are. Some say that demons come in a swarm and seize them to take them away. It is probably so. That is the person who has not received salvation. Some rage and struggle, right? Because they are so afraid. “It is frightening.” The day of death is frightening. Why? Because they see the darkness and the demons drag them away—how frightening must that be? But saved people, commonly, are different. They speak differently. Some even ask us to sing a hymn. There are people who pass away while a hymn is being sung.
This is something that cannot be blocked or avoided. While we live we are unaware, but while we live it is like this (background). So it says, “Whoever does not believe is condemned already.” It is only a matter of time before that disaster comes; they are already condemned. If you know how important it is that you have been saved, you can enjoy this (spiritual summit).

Most people say, “These days I don’t go to church.” There are many like this. “In our house… I do my faith-life alone.” There are many. Some say, “My mother lived a good life of faith and my father did well, but I am not doing it these days.” There are many. They are utterly unaware of this background and value. So, the day you realize that God truly lives and governs my life—by then it is too late.

RT 7
So the answer that the seven remnants easily received was this (spiritual summit). They won unconditionally. This is the blessing you will receive. When you become the spiritual summit, you cannot even describe what it is. Simply put, because you have ascended to the top, you see it all. If you go to Seoul, there is a park called Namsan. From Namsan Park, cars—trains or buses—keep circulating. From the moment you ride, you see the whole of Seoul. Of course you cannot see an individual’s house, but you see the whole. Why? Because you have gone up to the top. At the moment we become the spiritual summit, we see many things.

2. The Role of Blocking
So second, what is the work we do? We must have the role of blocking those who live with a hell background. That is our commission.

3. Actualization
Third, what is it? You must carry out the work of making the heaven background a reality.
These three things. We are not dying. After all, your parents have passed away, right? We say, “They have gone to heaven,” but look at Psalm 90. From then on, answers come afterward.

[ 1. Eternity ]
It absolutely does not end with that. The things you are praying now—later there are even more answers that come. So when you look at homes whose parents prayed much, commonly their children end up enjoying many things. There is that difference.

1) Luke 16:19–31
In Luke 16:19–31 Jesus explained in a parable. You do not cease by dying. You exist forever. You simply move house, but you exist forever. Therefore your existence is forever. So Jesus asked: “The man who was rich lived for a moment and went to eternal hell. Lazarus the beggar was a beggar briefly but went to eternal heaven. Which is better?” That is the point. The parable Jesus gave is not saying that “if you live like a beggar you go to heaven.” It is not saying that “the rich go to hell.” Which is better: to have lived rich and be in eternal fire, or to have lived as a beggar briefly yet be in eternal heaven? Jesus explained that. So those who truly know this do not even grieve over going to heaven. Unbelievers, of course, must grieve. Why? Because they go to eternal hell and suffer—it is naturally sorrowful.

2) John 14:1–27
Jesus also explained in John 14:1–27. “If I prepare heaven, I will go and take you, and bring you there”—He even gave this explanation. “When the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, comes upon you, He will be in you and with you forever.”

3) Revelation 20:1–6 (1 Corinthians 15:20)
So, as explained in Revelation 20, all people will be raised, just as Jesus was. In 1 Corinthians 15:20 it says, “Jesus has become the firstfruits.” Human beings exist forever.

So when you truly gain great spiritual strength and become the summit, because of just one of you everything is brought to life. Do not miss this. For me, since this blessing is so important, I have no set prayer time; I simply do 24. Keeping your health in various ways is complicated. I simply do 24. Then we even get answers like, “Why do we need to build the temple?” This is not my idea but something in the Bible; and now, something others are not using has come out: 237, healing, summit—these terms are in the Bible, the most important things. If you continue enjoying this (spiritual summit) blessing, what is most important in the Bible—but what we are missing—comes into view: the three courtyards. It is the most important. So when you keep praying regarding construction, this (spiritual summit) comes out.

You must surely receive this blessing, this strength. Because of just one of you, your family line and even your company will all be revived. This is not a lie. Do not be deceived at all. When you become the spiritual summit, even though I have not studied much, I give realization to those who have. Such things happen. Ah, Joseph did not study a lot. But when he became the spiritual summit, events occurred such that he taught the king. Such things happen. You went as a subordinate, did errands, and yet you become the answer for others.

2. The Role of Blocking
1) The Rich (Hell)
Now, what should we do with the rich who will go to hell eternally—those who lived briefly and go to eternal hell? So during the time we are alive, we proclaim the gospel. But although we live forever, what is important is that you can be saved only when you have a body. Isn’t that amazing? That is why being alive is important. That is the only difference. Do you not receive heavenly rewards? After you die—once you go to heaven—what you do there is of course proper, but there are no rewards for that. Only while your body is on this earth do rewards accrue. In the story he speaks to Lazarus: “Then go to my father’s house; I have brothers—please warn them so that they will not come here.” Right? “They have the prophets and the Word, so we do not need to go; and we cannot go, and they cannot come.”

2) 12
Right now Satan uses twelve strategies. We must block them.

3) Disaster
As evidence, no matter how great a nation is, greater disasters come; and no matter how admirable a person is, disasters do not cease. It is certain. As long as one cannot enjoy this (spiritual summit) blessing, one must lie. One must deceive. One must pretend otherwise and live by force. Look at the members of the National Assembly in our country who do strange things. These are highly educated people. Right? Most of them passed the bar exam. Not everyone takes the bar exam. They are smart people who passed the bar, the civil service exam, and the like. Then why do they do such foolish things? A certain former member of the National Assembly took 50 million won and died, right? Why do such foolish things? It is not because they learned nothing. They cannot avoid disaster. Do presidents and prime ministers of nations know this? They cannot block the spiritual disasters that befall a nation.

You must be certain—those people do not know. You come to church—“I have become a church leader; I am a believer”—this is enormous, but they do not know it. Especially our church leaders now—you can save all when you gain this (spiritual summit) strength. If you do not have this (spiritual summit) strength, how will you save? And especially our young people—you have posterity. Your posterity must know something properly and act, but you say you have nothing to give? You must have this (spiritual summit) strength.

3. Actualization
Now, we carry out the actualization of this tremendous (1 Corinthians 3:16, temple) heaven background that we have.
1) Moses
So a few names are given—Moses. Even in his youth he saw this gospel and actualized it.
2) David
Several are named—David. A representative figure you know has been selected.
3) Obadiah
As you know, the church leader Obadiah. He was no ordinary person. He was not higher than the king, yet spiritually he was the summit beyond the king. So he blocked the disasters the king brought, saved the nation, and saved all.
4) Daniel
Now, look at Daniel. Because this one person enjoyed this background and blessing, all wisdom came through Daniel.
5) Paul
Through one Paul, a life-saving work arose with an influence greater than heroes—even greater than Napoleon.

▣ Conclusion_ [ Holy Meditation Time ]
So on Sundays or at special times, have a holy meditation time to enjoy this blessing. This time is extremely important. When you give worship today and meditate deeply, in fact even your body is healed—it is not only the spirit that is healed. When you enter deeply into the spiritual and enjoy deep happiness and strength—though it seems like nothing—works arise in your work. So when you become the summit, you realize several things.

1. The Three Courtyards
Why did Jesus teach this even with anger? Jesus never once got angry, but there was one time He did. When was it? When the three courtyards were removed—He became angry. If Jesus became angry to that degree, that means God became angry; we must not take that lightly. We must live the life of faith that restores this (the three courtyards), and build the temple that restores this (the three courtyards). Answers are bound to come. Truly pray. There must be a bartizan that sets up these three courtyards. The reason God used Paul specially—he sought out these three places. Since he was persecuted, Paul went straight to the courtyard of the Gentiles. He sought the synagogue, the children’s courtyard. He healed those whom the world could not heal—the courtyard of healing. He did so.

2. Forty Days – The Last (3·9·3)
And Jesus, for the last time, gave concentrated lectures for forty days. Can we take that lightly? Right? If you truly pray, answers are bound to come. During the forty days He spoke of this (3·9·3). It is 3·9·3—fifteen tremendous works are contained in it. They are bound to come.

3. The Ends of the Earth
And after forty days Jesus gave His final words—there is a command: “Go to the ends of the earth. You will be witnesses to the ends of the earth.” If so, I must have my “ends of the earth.”

Just hold the covenant. Then the answers will come. There is no need to worry. It is okay if problems come, okay if persecution comes, okay if tribulation comes. It does not matter at all. Realizing this, Paul spoke this way: “We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed.” Yes. Even if you are pressed on every side, you are not crushed. “Struck down, yet not destroyed.” He said so. It is not that nothing happens—things happen, but it is okay. “We are jars of clay, but we have this treasure.” Right? We are nothing as humans, but God’s Spirit is in us. We have a treasure. Therefore we must save these pitiful people who are like this (children of the devil)—those who cannot even realize it when told.

There is no need to do evangelism strangely. Right? Evangelize with this (spiritual summit). Do you understand? These days I see some people with a red marker writing on money, “Unbelief—hell; Jesus—heaven.” Do not do such things. It was on the news. And some, with frightening red letters, “Unbelief—hell; Jesus—heaven,” stand even at the airport with tracts. It is a bit embarrassing. In fact, that is not how you do evangelism. Become the spiritual summit. Right? Look in the Bible. Become the spiritual summit and give the answer.
I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ to surely enjoy this blessing today. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Let all our saints enjoy the blessing of the spiritual summit today. Make them witnesses who save the world. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

God’s Providence and the Answer of 25

2023.06.18 District Message
Scripture Reading: Hebrews 9:27-28

God’s providence—this means that God is fulfilling what He has predestined. You must understand the meaning of the 25 answer. After Jesus gave the covenant of Mt Olive, the Early Church received great power to save the world. It was a world completely different from what had existed before. We are not passing through this time of God’s providence and the 25 answer properly. That’s why we end up living similarly to unbelievers. There is an answer that can save unbelievers, but because we cannot reach this (25 answer) part, we keep following along behind them. Still today, many church members think that if they just try hard, things will work out. So they think they must compete and fight to win. That is not entirely wrong, but it is not what the Bible says. As you know, did Joseph fight and compete to win? If that were the way, it would be too hard for us to live. God prepared something so that we can save them. Finding that is the (25 answer).

▣ Introduction
Then, what must we first think about?

1. A life with a time limit
After all, we live a life with a time limit. If you know this, there is no reason to become arrogant, and no reason to be discouraged. Everything has already been determined. Whether we like it or not, everything about us has been fixed, and this date was determined by God.

2. A life lived once
Therefore, on this earth, we live only once.

3. Only today
So in fact, June 18, 2023—today—is the only June 18. Tomorrow will be June 19. Within this (introduction), God’s providence is fulfilled. Most people—though it’s not necessarily bad—try not to grow old. So they undergo cosmetic surgery, do skin care, and all that. Some people try hard to look prettier. Doing so isn’t bad and can be helpful. However, if we are to truly receive answers, we shouldn’t try not to age but should age well. We shouldn’t be worried about what to do as we grow old but should prepare for it. Students too, while studying, shouldn’t only study but should prepare for “What will I do after graduation?”

If we make a mistake, we end up looking ahead to the future like unbelievers, saying we will prepare for ourselves. But that’s not our way. “What does God desire?” That is the believer’s way. Then what has God, who governs our lives, prepared through us? When I was studying in college and seminary, I saw that most seminary students thought, “After graduation, how will I serve at a church, or how will I go abroad to study?” Those aren’t bad thoughts; they’re good thoughts. But I thought differently. “Why am I in seminary? Why am I studying at the university and graduate level? What is God preparing me for?” Then the answer came easily. It wasn’t complicated. “Ah, God wants me to properly do evangelism.” How simple that is. So I prepared for that.

Preparing for that doesn’t mean immediate change. There were many good students besides me—people with great skills and backgrounds—so they prepared in their own ways. But ten years after graduation, I found that among those who had been with me, almost none were doing evangelism movement. We keep preparing for the wrong thing.

Anyway, we must all go someday. And since we live only once, and today exists for that reason, what must we prepare? How important that is—it’s your life. Isn’t that so? God saved you and called you to give life to others—how could you treat that lightly? When you are sick and go to a hospital, you check which hospital is good; you don’t just go anywhere.

〔What God Desires〕
That’s why we are different from unbelievers. We only need to do this (what God desires). What God desires. Even if you haven’t yet found it, if you just keep this heart, important answers come. God said to David, “I saw your heart.” Right? Because we are not omnipotent, even if we cannot do great things, preparing for what God desires—this is very important.

There was a soldier who had spent his whole life in the military. When he was discharged, he thought, “What should I do now? What does God want?” As he asked that question, the answer came easily. “Ah, I’ve long held an important post in the army, but now I realize that’s not it. Soldiers come to the army too late. No matter how much I train them, they don’t change. So they came too late.” Asking that question brought the answer. “Ah, I see.” He had the right realization. Then he thought, “What should I do for young people?” So he created the Boy Scouts—what you’ve often heard of. That spread to more than 200 countries. One old soldier, after discharge, thought about that and started it. Then women said, “We can’t just sit still,” and created the Girl Scouts. It gave great influence to many young people.

We, too, if we do not have a sure answer to this (what God desires), we keep feeling anxious and worrying about the future.

▣ Main

1. The Bible – Worldview
There are three paths here. We must take note. Many people say this or that, but the Bible presents a worldview. The Bible speaks of three things.

1) Worldly kingdom [ (food, clothing, shelter) ]
They all exist—the worldly kingdom. But only the Bible speaks of this clearly.

2) Satan’s kingdom (Genesis 3, 6, 11)
Satan’s kingdom—this constantly tries to destroy the worldly kingdom.

3) God’s kingdom (3·9·3)
Then there is God’s kingdom. These three. If we understand these, many of our interpretations and actions will differ.

Ultimately, people of the world know only this (food, clothing, shelter). They just live to eat and die. “Let’s eat well, live well, and die well.” That’s it. Why do they study? To live well. Eat well, live well, die well. It’s not wrong, but because it ends there, Satan used it. He made Genesis 3, 6, and 11 and began to destroy humankind. So God did not leave things that way. He sent Christ so that the Triune God could be with us. Because these are unseen problems, He works invisibly within us.

I once asked a shaman, “You believe in spirits; why don’t you believe in God?” Isn’t that right? “You believe in spirits.” She said, “Yes.” Then I said, “Then you should believe in God.” She thought for a while and realized that was true. “Why do you believe in spirits but not in God?” Many people believe in the spiritual world of Satan but not in God’s kingdom. Therefore, whatever situation you face, it’s okay. That’s why it is said, “Enjoy the blessing of the throne.” Don’t worry about the future. The three ages—past, present, and future—He promised to bless.

This is our worldview. This is fact, before we even speak of certainty. Unbelievers don’t know this (Main 1), so even when they succeed, they fall into problems. When they succeed, they do wrong things. Why? Because they live only for this (food, clothing, shelter). “Since I’ve succeeded, I must live well and eat well.” So they end up stealing unnecessary money and getting caught—always the same. Think about it: someone was a minister or a member of parliament, with enough to live for life, yet out of greed steals and gets caught. Always like that. Why? Because of this (food, clothing, shelter). That’s the worldly kingdom. So no matter how hard national leaders try, they can’t go beyond these three (food, clothing, shelter). God called you to use the blessing of this (God’s kingdom) to block that (Satan’s kingdom).

2. The End
No matter how people deny it, three kinds of end will come. Right?

1) Personal end
The personal end will come. I always think not only of remnants but also of elders in Busan and our church here—“I wish they would live healthily and long.” Every time I see them, every time I pray, I think that. When I go to Busan too, though the remnants are important, the elders—those elderly women—pray even more. People don’t know what prayer really is because they don’t know the spiritual world. So they don’t realize how great the power of the prayer of these older people is, even if they don’t go out much. Even you yourselves say, “I’m old now.” But you can truly pray. Isn’t that right? It’s just that many don’t know prayer. To know prayer is a tremendous thing. Why do evil spirits work in regions full of conflict? They do. The Bible says so—Ephesians 4:27, 1 Peter 5:7-8. The Bible says that when people worry and fight, evil spirits keep working. Therefore, the prayer of one of you is tremendous. Even if it seems nothing is happening, it will surely work in the future generations and in your future.

But for each person, the personal end comes according to God’s timetable. You must remember this. For those who don’t know God, “personal end” means they died. But what follows is great. It’s not because we are good, but because we are God’s children, after our personal end we go to God’s kingdom. Right? No matter how great someone was, if they belong to Satan, they must go to Satan’s kingdom. That’s why we keep preaching the gospel—because people don’t know. But after this (personal end), something happens. Moses confessed in Psalm 90, “Satisfy us according to the days You have afflicted us, and show Your works to Your servants and Your glory to their children.” Right? What’s frightening is that when a person who served as a shaman dies, it’s not over. The spiritual problem that tormented that mother—the work of Satan—passes to the descendants. What can we do about that? It’s very important.

2) End of an age
In every age, there is also an end of an age. That’s another reason we do gospel movement. Each era has its end. Bill Gates saw this well. “Ah, inevitably the digital age is coming.” He saw it. “The analog age is inevitably going.” So, though he was a Nephilim, he gained inspiration and made something in college that shook the world. He did nothing, yet money poured in. He saw the age.

We must see the age spiritually. The Korean church has entered an age of church closures. Right? Once closures start, things happen quickly. We must stop this. That’s why God has sent us to a tremendous place. Here, through the three-day weekend age, we must truly pray for our future generations and ourselves. Right? When our future generations face difficult circumstances, they must overcome with the power of prayer. If they cannot, what will happen? There is an end of an age.

3) End of the earth
And all scholars have predicted the same thing—it’s in the Bible too. The end of the earth. The Bible prophesied it long ago, but now scholars see it and prove that the earth will disappear. We’re too busy to worry about the end of the earth, but we must take care of this (personal end).

3. Preparation
And now, since we know this, we prepare for our life with a time limit.

1) Remnants – Future
Remnants, you are not trying to receive answers now but are steadily preparing for the future.

2) Young adults – Field (Missionary)
And our young adults—though there are many things—now must prepare to save the field. Think, “I am a field missionary.” Prepare for that.

3) Elderly – Next generation
Now, for us older adults, we prepare to raise the next generation. What could be more important than this?

▣ Conclusion – 7 Journeys
Within these (main) things, God’s providence is fulfilled. The conclusion of that providence is walking the journey. Right? The journey can be summarized in seven parts. What are these seven?

1. Trinity
We do not just go; we go where the Triune God works. That is our journey. We don’t want to offend unbelievers, but unbelievers are inevitably under the control of darkness and Satan. It’s the truth. So of course they perform rituals, hold ancestral rites, and do all that when problems come—because they must follow that. But we don’t need to. We go to the place where the Triune God works through His Word, salvation, and power.

2. 10 Secrets
Because of that, when we go out into the world, there are many crises. But no—it means we survive any crisis. The 10 secrets. If you now ask, “What are the 10 secrets?” that would be difficult—look them up. To summarize one: God gives answers from the opposite side we never expected. Right?

3. 10 Footstools
There are many things that shake us. So, the 10 footstools. This is our journey. We use them as footstools as we go. If you ask, “What are the 10 footstools?” I’ve spoken about them since 20 years ago.

4. 5 Assurances
From this point, assurance comes. Right? In five of the most important areas of life, assurance comes. This is the way we go.

5. 9 Flows
Then you see the world is not that simple. We change and overcome without fighting. That’s the 9 flows. This is our journey.

6. Answers (62)
Then, in my lifetime, I find the answer. Right? Before going, I find the answer. Summing them up, we found about 62 in the Bible. Probably there are tens of thousands, but you see the answer in your life.

7. Camp (Throne)
From this point, the final remaining journey—all our paths become camp. A camp that enjoys the blessing of the throne. This is fact. Don’t look at hardship and think it’s hard. It only looks hard. For you, it’s camp. “Our family is struggling.” It may look that way. But if you are deceived by that, you will keep being deceived. It’s camp. “Why is there a disabled person in our family?” Simple. Why? It means to do missions. It’s not something to think of as difficult. Why? Because if He hadn’t given it, you wouldn’t know. “Why were we sent as slaves?” To evangelize that nation. So God already gave a tremendous answer. Everything is camp.

Pray all day today. Especially today, when there are many guests for the dedication service, may God’s great plan be fulfilled in you. I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we give thanks to You. Let the power of healing arise in the midst of today’s worship. Let the sick gain strength, and let even unknown illnesses be healed through the work of the Holy Spirit. As we pray throughout today, let Your kingdom come upon our field. Grant us the strength to accept differing opinions and problems from others. Let the mystery of God that saves them arise. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

God’s Reign and the Answer of 25

2023.06.11 District Message
Scripture Reading: Psalm 139:1-8

40 years ago it was. If it was 40 years ago, that’s quite long ago. I went to a church called Pyeonghwa Church as an evangelist. When I went there, even now I always think of a person—Deacon Park Dong-jin, who is a woman. Though the name is a man’s name, she was Deacon Park Dong-jin, and at a glance she looked so neat. Her husband was an executive at a large company. This family was very well-off. The house was large and all that. But on that house they had put up a small sign. It was written in English. Looking at the English, it said “LABO.” “How strange,” I thought. Since it was near the church, I saw it while making home visits and looked into the contents inside. This deacon was an English teacher. When the neighborhood children came back from school, she called them in. She accepted no more than 30. But they kept flooding in. The moment the kids came in, they had to speak only English. Forty years ago. At first the kids had a hard time. Later they all did well. That’s how she taught.

She didn’t take money. She was wealthy. The goal was evangelism. Evangelize the children and evangelize the parents. Some people even came to church just to be able to send their children there. It was astounding. She did it alone. There wasn’t even a second person—just one person. I was so shocked. “Wow, that’s really something.” Because the deacon alone brought in thirty children, the house was bustling. Everything was in English. So I thought, “Ah, one person is that important.” Among parents with thought, the elites, they brought all their children there. That was already 40 years ago.

[ Stumbling Block ] – Absolute Sovereignty
What is your worry? Today turn that worry into the greatest opportunity. In trying to do so, stumbling blocks arise. Isn’t that so? When I try to do something, there are many stumbling blocks. We must first resolve this, and the way to resolve it is to believe in God’s absolute sovereignty. We are not unbelievers. Because we are God’s children, we believe in God’s absolute sovereignty. God governs the life of every person, therefore we believe in God’s absolute sovereignty. That’s how I am. In which country you will be born and in which country you will die is within God’s sovereignty. What will become of your future is within God’s sovereignty. Isn’t that so? If you believe in absolute sovereignty, all interpretation changes. Even when problems came like to Joseph, because he believed in God’s absolute sovereignty, the interpretation changed. Right? He made Potiphar’s house succeed. Who would dislike that? Try saving the company after you enter a company. Why would the boss dislike it? Isn’t that right? If someone is entrusted with a task and they revive that side, who would dislike that? Simply put, Joseph became so pleasing in Potiphar’s mind. “Wow, how did such a person come? Watching him, I see he believes in God.” It became like that. Immediately, “You are not at the level to be a slave. Don’t be a slave; take charge of our whole house as you see fit. Be the steward.” Of course. From beginning to end Joseph believed in God’s sovereignty, and therefore he knew that going as a slave was the most important timetable.

Then your past, today, and future change. You see differently. Your enjoyment changes. I’ve always said this. When I was young, I saw that people, including my parents, lived so hard. Watching that, I found it strange. How could they be that poor and that struggling—always sick. From what I saw, almost everyone was like that. I pulled myself together. “I must believe in God. I will change that.” Right? Hold to the covenant. “I will change that. Why must we always be poor? We must change it.” Isn’t that so? We must do world evangelization. “Why must we always be sick, do nothing, and collapse?” It’s not so. Even church revival doesn’t happen. We must change it. That’s why I started evangelism. God is bound to work.

We call this God’s reign and the 25 answer. It may seem like the absolute answer doesn’t come, but that’s not so. Your sure thinking must change into faith.

▣ Main
1. [ Hidden Bartizan ] – The Path of Faith
Therefore we build a hidden bartizan that cannot be seen. This is to follow the path of faith. Ours is not just any faith. We follow the path of faith that believes in God’s works. Because this is a hidden bartizan that cannot be seen, it is very important. Even if two people do the same work at a workplace, there is someone who is overly conscious of the boss and of people and works like that, and there is one who does his own work whether someone sees or doesn’t see. The hidden part is different. Isn’t that so? This faith is not just any faith; as it says here, it is saving faith. This faith is not just belief among friends. Not that, but the faith that believes in God’s power. It is sure that God governs our life and death, prosperity and adversity. It is the faith that believes that. Therefore there is a path for those people.

1) Patriarchal era (Genesis 22:1-21) In the early patriarchal era, as you know, Abraham believed that if he offered his son, God would bring him back to life. It says so in Hebrews. In Genesis 22, where he offers his son, it says he believed that God would bring him back.

2) Monarchical era (Daniel 1:8-9) In the era of kings, the hardest thing was being taken as captives to Babylon. Even then, as you know, already in Daniel 1:8-9, because there was God’s absolute plan, they set up the bartizan firmly and said they would walk this path of faith.

3) New Testament era (Acts 1:14) So it is the same in the New Testament era. Through those who believed in God’s absolute covenant, starting with John the Baptist, the world was changed. Therefore I regard Acts 1:14 as extremely important. To you it may look like nothing. This (Acts 1:14) looks like nothing. These (Acts 1:14) people. That’s a misreading. Therefore the Jews thought these people were powerless and persecuted them at will. Right? In Rome they simply arrested and killed them. It was a mistake. These were the people who evangelized the world. No one knew. This is the hidden bartizan. You must surely believe. If you have this covenant, before business this (hidden bartizan) is important. Before studies this (hidden bartizan) is important. Do I have a bartizan, a hidden one, firmly set in me? That must be there, and with that you now study and do business. This (hidden bartizan) part is very important. It is faith that believes what is sure.

4) Early Church (Paul) Especially look at the Early Church. Among them a special figure—Paul—was special.

Spiritual realm. They were people who knew the spiritual realm. As you worship today, seeing the Word, and praying, you must hold to all God’s covenants and make them sure. They will be fulfilled. Therefore, when I was a young evangelist, I held to a sure covenant. “I will do world evangelization. Why? Because it is God’s will.” Isn’t that right? It is God’s primary will. “Wherever I go to church, people will be saved and arise; we must come out of spiritual and physical poverty.” Those being ordained this time, together with those previously ordained, hold to what God regards as most important. Now increasingly foreigners are flocking to our church. In Seoul there are even more. Going out to do missions is important, but let the missionaries do that, and you must set up such a bartizan. Right? Set up a bartizan so that foreigners who came may clearly understand the gospel before they return. That is more important. You must set up a bartizan so that they go with the power of prayer. Simply put, you must give them a platform, a watchtower, and an antenna, and send them. Do that. God delights in that most. Even if answers do not come, there is no way they will not come.

2. [ Bartizan to Demolish ] – [ Unbelief ]
Secondly. You must surely remember. There is a bartizan to demolish. Some things you must demolish. What is it? Unbelief. Do not follow this path under any circumstances; demolish it.

1) Kadesh-barnea (Numbers 14:1-10) In the very important wilderness called Kadesh-barnea, most people committed unbelief. They said, “We cannot go.” God’s command was “Go,” but they said, “We cannot go.” This is what is in Numbers 14. “We cannot go. We went and saw giants and fortresses—cities, fortified cities. We cannot go taking women and children.” Of the twelve who were sent, ten said that. That means it was the majority’s opinion. “We cannot go.” God said to go. Two, as you know—Joshua and Caleb—said they could go. They saw what was important. It was a land flowing with milk and honey; it was the land God gave to us, originally ours. Isn’t that so? It had been taken. And they knew something even more important. Their hearts had already melted. People with some sense had all run away. In a sense the cities were empty. “We can go.” That’s what they said. Their eyes were different. Whatever disease it is, whatever spiritual problem it is—if you demolish this (bartizan to demolish – unbelief), it’s done. Demolish this bartizan of unbelief.

2) Achan, Korah, Balaam And look. There are always people like Achan and Korah. Achan—stealing in the gaps. Korah—gathering with rebels and mounting an opposition movement. Balaam—the prophet who took money and ran errands to curse God’s people. Do not follow this path. All these people died in the wilderness. See also in the Bible.

3) Ananias, Sapphira In the New Testament, Ananias and Sapphira—deceiving the Holy Spirit—such things happened.

4) Cornelius Even in the Early Church, the church that had received grace, regarding Peter’s visit to Cornelius’ house, they made up talk and caused a commotion. It makes no sense. They should have said, “What the risen Christ spoke has been fulfilled.” Instead they said, “Why did you go to the house of a Gentile and eat?” They said things that make no sense. This much our old ways of thinking have many things that make no sense. Wherever you go, demolish such (Main 2) bartizans.

3. Bartizan of Life (Taste)
And you must truly taste it. Now set up the bartizan of life. That is the three todays.
1) Prayer What is today’s prayer?
2) Word What is today’s Word?
3) Evangelism What is today’s witness?

This is to actually taste it. Whether answers come big or small does not matter. This means that within this everything else follows. I have thought about this (prayer, Word, evangelism) for 40 years. Everything follows. I came here 30 years ago. After meeting you, we have continually done evangelism, the gospel, prayer, and the Word. Then in your lifetimes we have now met our final battle. Build a church that does not exist on earth. Next week the dedication service title for Immanuel Seoul Church will be like that. Restore what has been absent for 2,000 years. What will that be? God cannot help but be pleased. There is a way to receive answers, and there is a way that answers are bound to come. Isn’t that so? A restaurant owner doesn’t succeed just by trying hard. There is a restaurant that is such that customers are bound to come. Right? Set up the hidden bartizan. Then actually demolish the bartizan of unbelief. Then in your work, studies, and field, set up the actual bartizan—the bartizan of life. This (Main 3) is life. If you understand the gospel, you need nothing else. Only then can you save everything. If you understand prayer, nothing is a problem. Why? Because you save everything.

▣ Conclusion 〔Everything〕
Do not be deceived; one of you can save everything. Do not be deceived. This is not an illusion. If one of you can pray, you can change everything. If one of you has spiritual power, you can overcome all power. Isn’t that right? If you truly have spiritual power, the forces of darkness are bound to collapse. Because you possess spiritual power, the forces of Satan are bound to be driven out and bound. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today, as you worship all day long, may a great healing arise, may you gain great spiritual strength, and may this be a day of deep time. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, let today also be to us a day of new grace. Let it be a day to gain unseen spiritual power. Let us set up a bartizan that completely demolishes darkness, curses, unbelief, and disasters. Let the bartizan of unbelief collapse in our field. Let works of healing arise while we pray today. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

God’s Mission Field and the Answer of 25

2023.06.04 District Message
Scripture Reading: Acts 18:4

This week’s passage is Acts 18:1–4. Of course, we must go out for missions. However, what must come first is that the place where you are now is the mission field.

There are God’s mission fields that we must go, but that comes later. The place where you yourself are right now is the mission field. To make that possible, you must receive this (25) answer.

▣ Introduction
You must experience this at least once in your life.

1. The accurate covenant
What is the accurate covenant that God has given me to save the world? You must hold onto this. There are many covenants, but what is the accurate covenant that God has given to me? If my words sound complicated, you can just listen to what Jesus said.

1) John 19:30 – Calvary (the beginning) – It is finished
Jesus said that all the problems that existed in the Old Testament age had been resolved. This is the covenant of Calvary. This is extremely important. He said, “It is finished,” yet things still do not work out for us. Though Jesus declared it finished, there are still many difficulties for me. That is where it begins. This is the part we constantly miss. You must always remember this part. (1) Problems – Even your children, though they may not express it, have many problems, and you likely think the same. When I meet people, most of them speak more sincerely about their problems than about the grace they received from God’s Word. That is the mistake. Those who hold onto the wrong covenant cannot receive answers. Your children are holding onto problems while leaving behind many blessings. Isn’t that so? If you ask, “Why do you hold onto the problem when so many blessings are there for you?” they only get more discouraged. This must be realized through true forum and true prayer. Almost everyone I have met—practically 100%—is trapped in this. What they see as problems, I see as nothing, yet they see them as problems. What must we do? God desires to give blessings, but people keep calling them problems. “But a very serious problem came to me—what should I do?” Without exception, through every serious problem, God has accomplished great works. Hasn’t He? Without exception. In a way, you only need to hold to the covenant and wait. Isn’t that so? If you hold to the accurate covenant, then you only need to wait. But if you have held to the wrong covenant, you cannot afford to just wait. (2) Conflicts – Most people say, “Christ finished everything,” yet they live bound in conflict—24 hours in conflict. When I used to teach middle and high school students and let them pray, they prayed well. But when I talked with them personally, it was clear they were trapped in conflict. So, I began counseling them one by one. (3) Crisis – If crisis has come to us, that is truly the timetable. It takes time to make people understand this. Jesus said, “It is finished.” If you cannot discover this, you will keep wandering, though you may not say it aloud. This is why this first point of the introduction is so necessary for believers.

2) Acts 1:3 – Mt Olive
When you hold onto the accurate covenant, then what follows is the covenant of Mt Olive—the covenant Jesus gave. You must understand this accurately. For me, though Christ had finished everything and I was a child of God, my church and my home were not doing well. Then I thought, “This is not mine; that’s their issue.” The adults were so troubled and conflicted, arguing among themselves. I thought, “That’s their issue, not mine. It’s not something I should meddle in. I just need to hold onto the covenant and pray.” That one short moment changed everything. Otherwise, we easily fall into problems, conflicts, and crises because that’s all we see. When this is resolved first, the covenant of Mt Olive gives the mission to enjoy and proclaim God’s kingdom and blessings that the world can never give. People often ask, “How can we do that?” Jesus answered simply: “Wait.” Jesus said, “Wait.” But we cannot wait. “Wait”—but not just any waiting. “Wait for what the Father promised.” What did He promise? He promised to give the power of the Holy Spirit. “Wait.” That is the answer.

3) The Mark’s Upper Room – (Experience)
Third, they gathered in the church with this covenant—that was the Mark’s Upper Room. When this happened, they could not help but experience it.

2. The period of no answer
More important is the second point. Even after receiving answers, persecution arose from every side. At that moment, people make their second mistake, thinking, “There is no answer.” The best timetable for you is not when a bag of money drops from the sky the next day after prayer, nor when your cancer disappears overnight after worship. Such things rarely happen. This “no-answer” period is the most important timetable. But during this time, people start doing other things.

1) Isaiah 60:20–22 [The time]
God said in Isaiah 60, “I, the Lord, will do it swiftly in its time.” This word is important. Yet we mistake this for no answer. It is indeed no visible answer, but it is the key moment. This is the hardest part of faith life for believers. “But still, my situation is urgent—what can I do?” When the time comes, God will act swiftly, for He said so.

2) Ecclesiastes 3:1–10 [The season]
Ecclesiastes 3:1–10 says that everything has its season and its time. You must realize this.

3) Acts 1:6–8
Jesus also said, “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority.” Though it is difficult, it is not yours to worry about. “Wait for what the Father promised. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power and be My witnesses to the ends of the earth.”

3. The fulfillment of the Word
Then the third stage comes. Even if our faith is weak, at this point, we will receive the answer. The fulfillment of the Word takes place, and life begins to revive. “Ah, the Word truly is God’s Word.” When the Word is fulfilled, assurance follows. But because people miss points 1 and 2, they never reach this. Most people lose hold of the accurate covenant, so they never experience fulfillment. During worship today, just hold onto the accurate covenant that God has given to you. And remember, no answer is not no answer—it is waiting. Whether it comes quickly or slowly is also in God’s hands, so we wait. Then the Word will surely be fulfilled. When the Word is fulfilled, everything comes to life. The first thing that comes alive is me. “Ah, I see now.” The Word is fulfilled clearly, precisely, and personally.

1) Genesis 1:3
The Word of creation works as light.

2) John 1:1–14
“The Word was God, and the Word became flesh.” It means the Word came upon us.

3) Hebrews 4:12
Then we realize, “The Word of God is living and active.”

Since you are God’s children, anyone can do this. It’s not that you didn’t know the accurate covenant, but you failed to hold it. That’s how it happens. When I was a student, I prayed wrongly, asking God for money, thinking, “If I have financial blessings, I can study abroad.” That was a wrong prayer. How could an evangelist restore the economy? It was an unreasonable prayer. Then I realized I was making problems out of nothing and inviting conflict and crisis. At that moment, though it seemed minor, God used it to change my life. “Right, I was making problems out of what were no problems and praying meaningless prayers. How absurd that a student would ask for wealth instead of studying!” At that moment, I truly understood evangelism. “Right, you must first properly evangelize and proclaim the gospel. Why are you chasing money?” Because of that, God allowed discipline until I realized.

▣ Main Message
From this point on, the answer is simple.

1. Yourself
You yourself become the mission field. Isn’t that true? Because you have received the answer, you yourself are the mission field.

2. The family
Your family becomes the mission field.

3. The field (work)
When you go to work, your workplace becomes the mission field. Global missions come after that. Missions begin with yourself, your family, and your field. The rest can be explained through lessons, but the most important part about yourself is revealed in today’s second service message.

1. Yourself (1 Corinthians 3:16)
“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” This is the important message of the 237 second service. You must receive this answer.

2. Family (understanding)
Your family changes into a mission field. You must have proper understanding about the family. Isn’t it wonderful when a husband and wife communicate well and have good conversations? We think that’s ideal. But what if communication doesn’t work? If both husband and wife are very intelligent, they often cannot communicate. Only when one yields or seems to sacrifice can there appear to be communication, but that’s not real. And is human-level conversation the goal? No. We are misunderstanding something. Should your wife obey you unconditionally? That’s already wrong. Must your husband be entirely under your control? That’s also wrong. Your wife is not yours—she is God’s daughter. Your husband is not your possession to manage—he is God’s son. People have tremendous misconceptions here, and that’s why happiness disappears. Once you realize this, your family becomes a mission field. Some say, “Why did God give me a disabled child? What sin did we commit to deserve this suffering?” You are misunderstanding. Look more broadly. Are there any churches in Korea doing ministry for the disabled? Almost none. That’s why God gave you that child—to save the disabled. Many churches only do welfare work to receive government funding, but real ministry is rare. Parents of the disabled worry the most because in their gatherings, they often find only Buddhist monks leading. Churches are absent. See this rightly. Because this age has so many spiritual problems, and because people do not realize, God gave your family a spiritual problem to awaken you. You must realize this. Life on earth is short before we go to eternity, so calculate correctly. When studying the Word through cell or Bible lessons, if you fail to give proper understanding about the family, conflicts will continue. Some pray, “Lord, strike down my unbelieving husband and fill me with the Holy Spirit.” How can you receive the filling of the Holy Spirit like that? What that really means is, “Lord, half kill my husband.” If God said “Okay,” that would be serious trouble. You must pray patiently. We mistakenly think that smooth conversation between spouses is a sign of good communication, but unless it is through spiritual eyes and spiritual connection, it will not work.

3. The field (work) (darkness)
Go to your field — darkness is reigning everywhere, disguised as if it were right. You must discern this. Unbelievers live only for one purpose: to live well and die well — food, clothing, and shelter. There’s nothing more. Their level of thinking and speaking is slightly higher than animals, but without understanding the spiritual world, they are the same. You must understand this. That is why we go into the field and work. Even quietly, if you understand, answers come. Isn’t that true?

▣ Conclusion – The Throneization
Your current address must be the throneization of the field. Without this blessing, nothing else matters. Your present location must become a field upon which the blessings of God’s kingdom descend. How? Simply through prayer. Jesus said, “This kind does not go out except by prayer.” Jesus did not teach preaching first, but He did teach prayer. Among all the examples Jesus showed, the most frequent was the example of prayer. Perhaps I’ve spoken a bit quickly, so it may be difficult to grasp all this at once. Reflect deeply, and truly pray. Yourself, your family, your field—they are not what you think they are. Everyone has their own thoughts; each person sees differently, so only God’s work can change them. Go to Japan — they say all religions are the same. There’s nothing to say to that. Without the blessing of the throneization where God’s kingdom comes, that nation can never be evangelized. That’s why God has given you this blessing of prayer.

May today be the day when, holding onto the accurate covenant, you begin true prayer — the day when a hundred years of answers arise in your life. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer. God, we thank You. May healing arise throughout the day as we worship. May Your kingdom come upon all the places connected to us as we worship. May today become the day we gain spiritual strength through worship. May all darkness, Satan, and unbelief be bound today. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

The Temple of God and the Answer of 25

2023.05.28 District Message
Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 3:16

Our members, when I actually have a meeting with them, have many difficulties. I can sense this. Even when I talk with our young adults, once they start sharing what’s inside, many stories of hardship come out. And when I see our remnants, sometimes they seem diligent in what they do, but when their true hearts come out, I can see that they are struggling. Simply put, your children go to school and study, come to church and worship, go home and eat and live, but when they face their real problems, it’s hard for them. That’s the reality, isn’t it? But that reality can become something that determines their future. Isn’t that so?

The new believer you evangelized to may look like they worship well on the outside, but inside they have many difficulties. You have to understand that, right? It may look like nothing on the surface, but that very thing shapes their future. Isn’t that right? Your child may do well at school, do well at church, and eat well at home, yet inside, that child may have many hidden conflicts and worries. They can’t easily talk to their parents or speak about it at church. Then what happens if we just leave them alone? They suffer a great loss. Especially for those of us who know spiritual things, this becomes a tremendous loss.

At times like this, the Nephilim and the three organizations completely use the Nephilim strategy to capture people’s hearts.

Then what about you? We all live speaking moment by moment. When I look at the co-workers I work with, most of them—though they don’t say it aloud—keep worrying about trivial matters. From what I can see, it’s not even a real problem, but they’re shaken over nothing.

These days, as I had anticipated, Buddhism has started offering counseling. They even broadcast it publicly. When someone tells their problem, a monk responds. But according to Buddhist doctrine, that’s actually a serious issue. Isn’t that so? Buddhism has no God. It’s all about “me.” “I become Buddha.” So if you endlessly seek inward, what happens? Humans face limits with age, at death, and even in heaven or hell—limits always come. So seeking within oneself as the center is actually very dangerous.

But the problem is—the level of their counseling is very high. That’s the issue. You’re struggling, right? But Buddhism teaches: “Why is that a problem?” That’s how high their level sounds. Someone might say, “I’m going crazy because of my parents,” and Buddhism replies, “Why go crazy over that?” It sounds lofty. Wow, really, believers gather and talk about trivial things, but these people, even though they have no salvation—it’s dangerous—but they do counseling very well.

So, when I used to teach middle and high school students, I didn’t just preach sermons; I met with them on Saturdays and talked. When communication opens, they start bringing up their personal problems. Right? If it doesn’t get to that level, they can’t walk the life of faith properly. A leader must be someone who can receive another’s problems. Otherwise, they’re not a leader. If a child opens up to me about something they can’t tell their parents—that’s very important.

Once, something happened at school that parents could never imagine. There are violent gangs inside schools—organized delinquents. Not 100%, but we have to acknowledge it—they’re there. They notice your children and say, “That one goes to church. Seems weak.” Then they start to pick on them. One student suffered that way for three years. Three years! By graduation time, that’s serious. But he never told his parents. For him, going to school was like facing death. Those kids threaten horribly. For real—if someone doesn’t listen, they even say, “We’ll cut off your finger.” High schoolers! “If you talk, we’ll kill you all.” So the victims are too scared to speak. Parents don’t know.

When I went to the school for evangelism, that student came and told me. I asked who it was, and he quietly said the name. I looked from a distance—the bully looked older than his age, very handsome, but didn’t study at all. The school had given up on him; even teachers said, “Just don’t cause trouble.” Because they have to manage the school somehow. Within a week, I analyzed everything about that kid. Then I called him. One-on-one. Because if you call such kids in front of others, they act crazy—“Do you know who I am?”—and cause trouble. So I met him one-on-one.

I called him to a bakery. Without a word, I slapped him hard across the face. There was a reason. He was an elder’s son. The school didn’t know. I found out through analysis—he was a church elder’s son. Even the elder was struggling because of him. He was a real delinquent. But when I slapped him, he didn’t move—he just stood still. Then I gave him my testimony of faith. That day, through my testimony, he completely knelt down. God did that. He was changed. Later, teachers called me to thank me, asking what I said to transform him like that.

This is the reality. Abroad, as our remnants testified, more than 80% actually encounter drugs. So in that environment, you can assume the atmosphere is 100%. That’s the era we live in.

What did God say to us? It’s not a matter of whether faith life “works” or “doesn’t work,” or whether there are “answers” or not. What did He say? He said we are the temple of God. This is not a simple statement. You must find the answer in this and teach others to find it too. Only when you make it your own can you enjoy this (the 25 answers). So how do we enjoy and teach this?

(1 Corinthians 3:16)

Then we must first understand this verse: “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” The house where a king dwells—what is it? A palace. Right? Whether the house is fancy or plain, if the king dwells there, it’s a palace. If the king travels or hides in a hut, that hut is still a palace because the king is there. But no matter how fine the house, if a beggar lives inside, it’s a beggar’s den. Right? If the Spirit of God dwells in me, then I am a temple. That’s the meaning. We must enjoy this blessing. This is our identity.

Turn all your problems today into blessings. Why? Because I am the temple of God. We all have different thoughts, each thinking we’re right. That’s wrong. If my thought is right, then the other’s thought is also right. If the other’s thought is wrong, mine could be wrong too. Right? “My husband is strange.” Well, if you reverse it, you might look stranger. “My husband nags too much.” If he doesn’t nag, he’ll die—it’s just his nature. Then be thankful!

The important thing is: “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” That’s it—it’s finished.

Remember Joseph and Potiphar—did they get along? No. But Joseph was the temple of God. Because Potiphar was blessed through Joseph, he acknowledged him. That’s our answer. Joseph and Potiphar’s wife—did they get along? Could they communicate? No. She framed him and threw him in prison because he refused her. But Joseph was still the temple of God. Remember that. Then what happened? One day, Joseph became the prime minister. An impossible thing happened.

When you worship today or face anything, enjoy this blessing (the temple of God). If you say, “I can’t live because of that person,” then you’re wrong. God gave that person both weaknesses and strengths. “Why did God, who called me to live within this blessing, let me meet that person?” It doesn’t matter. If they do well, be thankful; if they fail, help them. Either way, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”

In 1 Corinthians chapter 1 (today’s first service), why did Paul say this (1 Corinthians 3:16)? There was a reason when he sent his message to the Corinthian church. Among the many reasons, the main one was division. Division had broken out. Are there no divisions in churches today? Of course there are. And aren’t there conflicts in our lives? Yes. That’s why God says, “That’s not what’s important. What’s important is you, who are saved.” Why? “You are the temple of God.” That means the Spirit of God, who is Spirit, dwells in you. “Do you not know that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” That’s a tremendous message. You must realize this.

In the past, when I couldn’t enjoy this gospel, I must confess with repentance—I used to see my wife strangely. Really. Everything was hard. It was hard for her too because of me. But after realizing and enjoying this gospel and receiving answers, I see that she is the most blessed person on earth. Right? Some pastors’ wives actually hinder ministry because they’re too smart. There are many like that.

We often misunderstand our great blessings just because someone is a bit different from us. I tend to be very organized. Most people aren’t. I used to struggle with that—“Why are things so disorganized?” But that’s no reason to lose hold of important blessings. Yet we often do that by mistake.

Because this message (the temple of God) is so important, I spent 22 minutes explaining it. Because if you don’t understand it, nothing else will make sense.

▣ Main

Then let me briefly introduce the Scripture.

1. Salvation
So what is salvation?

2. Promise
What did the resurrected Christ, who gave us salvation, promise?

3. Mission
And what mission did the Christ, who gave us the promise, entrust to us?

When I enjoy this blessing (the temple of God), these answers (salvation, promise, mission) come. Isn’t that right?

A certain woman once said, “Pastor,”—she was frustrated—“my husband drinks all the time, always comes home drunk.” I understand—it must be painful. Always drinking, coming home late, not setting an example for the children—that’s all true. She said she can’t stand him anymore, even cursed at his clothes. So strange, right? I answered simply, “Deaconess, you’re misunderstanding two things.” “What are they?” she asked. “Your husband isn’t just drinking.” “But he drinks every day!” “Yes, but he’s not merely drinking—he’s wandering. He’s lost his way. Wandering. And right now, drinking is better for him than complete despair. That’s why. More importantly—there’s no one else who can truly pray for him but you. I can’t pray for your husband 24 hours, but you can.” She understood. From then on, she began to see (salvation, promise, mission).

1. Salvation
What is salvation?

1) Genesis 1:26, 27
God the Trinity planted His image in us—not in animals. That’s salvation.

2) Genesis 2:7, 18
God breathed His breath of life into us. We are not animals but human beings. That’s why He gave the blessing of Genesis 2:18.

3) Genesis 3:15
After we lost this (Genesis 1:26–27; 2:7, 18), God gave another promise: “The offspring of the woman will crush the serpent’s head.” That is salvation.

2. Promise
To those who are saved, God has surely given promises.

1) John 14:16
“I will send the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, to be with you.” This may sound meaningless to unbelievers, but to believers, it’s the most important truth. Those who are perishing can’t understand it, but those who give life can. “I have given you the Holy Spirit, the Counselor.” Why? Because humans are spiritual beings. In Scripture, never once does God tell a dog to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Right? You may treat your pets well, but still, He never says to animals, “Be filled with the Spirit.”

2) John 14:26
Then He gave an even more amazing promise: “When you pray, the Holy Spirit will come upon you and make you understand all things.” That’s why we pray. “He will make you understand all things.” Jesus Himself promised it.

3) John 16:13
“He will make you understand the words you have heard.”

4) John 20:22
And at the end, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

5) Acts 1:8
Finally, on His last platform, He said, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” You can’t change the world with human power. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.”

3. Mission
Then at Mt Olive, He gave the mission. What first?

1) The power of the throne
The blessing of the throne that comes upon me and dwells within me. When you pray today, pray for this.

2) 3·9·3
At Mt Olive, He gave this (3·9·3). The Triune God is with you. The blessing of the throne works through nine powers. He gave the mission to save the three ages to the ends of the earth. Hold firmly to this.

3) The kingdom
When you receive this covenant, God’s kingdom is established in you.

4) Work
And when you enjoy this blessing, the work of God’s kingdom takes place. That is world conquest.

Remnants, begin your studies with this power (main point 3). Don’t argue about doing well or not—just start. No one else can truly help you. Our church leaders—do your work with this power. Don’t be deceived. You are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in you. What an amazing message.

▣ Conclusion

(1 Corinthians 3:16)
Then this conclusion (1 Corinthians 3:16) follows.

(Galatians 2:20)
Not only that—since my past cannot disappear, I crucify it, and Christ lives in me. My personality doesn’t change, so I crucify it, and Christ lives in me. My past and scars don’t change, so I crucify them, and Christ lives in me.

(2 Corinthians 5:17)
And I have become a new creation.

That’s what happened. Today was important, so it took longer. Be sure to enjoy this entire message’s blessing. Let’s pray.

Prayer. All day today, as I worship, may the Spirit of God dwell within me. May the kingdom of God be established in every place related to me. As I pray today, may even unknown diseases be healed. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

God’s Word and the Answer of 25

2023.05.21 District Message
Scripture Reading: Hebrews 4:12-13

When God’s Word is fulfilled, there is no greater blessing than that. When it becomes like this (God’s Word), your life of faith becomes different. You have seen the Word clearly fulfilled. That is what we call the 25 answers.

“It says the Word is living and active.” Because it is God’s Word.
Joseph was sold as a slave—enough to be a great shock. So he came to Potiphar’s house, and there the Word of God began to be fulfilled.
Then he could overcome in any case. Ah—because God’s Word and its fulfillment occurred in Joseph, he could overcome any hardship. Even the unbeliever Potiphar saw and said, “God is with you,” didn’t he? When Jeremiah was in an extreme situation, the Word came at that time. “The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah a second time”—so it says. He was confined then. He was in great difficulty. What did He say then? “The LORD who does the work.” Then it means God is the One who has done this work now. What is the word that follows? “The LORD who forms it to establish it.” It looks a bit like hardship, but God spoke as the LORD who fulfills the Word. More importantly, it says, “Thus says the LORD whose name is the LORD.” And He said, “Call to Me.” “I will answer you. I will show you great and hidden things that you do not know.”
As this Word was thus fulfilled, Jeremiah gained strength. For us as well, when we say that the Word is fulfilled, we gain strength in any situation. Because the Word is fulfilled. Then what shall we do?

▣ Main Message
We must remember three things.

1. The beginning – Revive me
The Word is the power of the Creator God, and we must be revived by this power—this is the beginning. We revive ourselves by God’s Word.

1. Genesis 1:1 「Creation」
When you receive today’s Word, remember this: God created the heavens and the earth by His Word. If so, when I receive God’s Word today, it means that the work of creation arises. This is the Word. Because God is revealed by His Word, anything visible is an idol, not God. By His Word. Thus it is important for you to hold the accurate covenant. Regardless of hardships or anything else, hold the covenant accurately.

2. Genesis 1:3 「Light」
This Word is not just anything—creation; it is the Word that is shone as light. God shone the light.

3. [Genesis 1:27]
Where? Into my life. Into the image of God. It has come into us who were created in the image of God. This (Gen 1:27) is the true human. Humans have the image of God. Beasts do not. Thus, if a person is not saved and does not know God, he becomes a bit lower than the beasts. Beasts do not cheat, but people do. Therefore no matter how great a person is, if he does not know God, he only eats, sleeps, eats, sleeps, and dies—he can do nothing more. What kind of human is that? Eat, sleep, eat, sleep, die. That is a beast. Humans are not that. We were created in the image of God. When you taste this, you come to know what true happiness is.

4. Genesis 2:7
This Word comes into my soul. Not only giving life, it comes into my soul.

5. Genesis 2:18
This Word begins to appear in my life. This (Main 1) is the beginning. If this (Main 1) is not done, even if the next things are done, you will not know it. Right? Answers came, but he says, “A problem came.” Blessings came, but he says, “A curse came.” It becomes very strange. Even though God gave an opportunity, he says he has perished. Then what can he do at best? Only pick up others’ weaknesses, talk, fight—every day. That is all.

This (Main 1) must become the beginning. When you receive the Word today, while praying, you must enjoy this (Main 1) blessing. How do you enjoy it? Believe. Why? Because we cannot do it. Because it is fact, believe. Because it is fact—if you, from now on, worry continually just for three days, your whole body will fall ill. Isn’t that right? Because it is fact. If things keep happening that make you continually startled, your mind becomes abnormal. Isn’t that right? If you keep worrying from now on, what will happen? We believe this Word. We believe because God gave it to be believed. Why? Because it is not something we can do. We must believe.

2. Important timetables
Then second, very important timetables come. If the Word is like this, what are the important timetables?

1) Pulpit – Answer (future)
When you hear the pulpit message today, you find the answer. Those who follow the message every week see the answer. Among the answers, the future is clearly seen. It comes clearly like this.

2) Conference – Direction
When it becomes like this, how do you receive answers for the six days? At such times, at conferences—or even if you cannot go, when you listen to the messages—you see great things; the direction is clearly seen.

We are the only ones on earth who gather every week for evangelism. There will be none others. “Why do you keep gathering every time?” Those who say this do so because they do not know what evangelism is. To do world evangelization, we must gather, become one, pray, and move. Unless such a team comes out of America, evangelization of America will never be done. That is why Jesus told us to make disciples. Because it cannot be done by other methods.

So, if on Sunday morning you open your eyes and just play the conference messages, everything comes out—nowadays. The direction is clearly seen. Whether the sermon is good or bad—that does not matter at all. If you have never gone once to the neighborhood meeting in the area you live, you do not know how the neighborhood goes. Right? “I never listen to gospel messages”—then you miss the direction. Why? Because you rejected your very existence. Since you are a living being but you reject that, you do not know direction or anything. Every morning when you open your eyes, quickly go on the internet and ask, “What conference was there?” In a way, you must see the direction like this.

3) Prayer journal – Guidepost
As you do this, you have the prayer journal in your hands that you see every day, right? Other groups likely do not have this well. Because this prayer journal gathers the messages that have been up to now, it becomes a guidepost. Ah, even when I set only the direction—for example, “I will go to Pohang”—there will be a way to go.

4) District message – Confirmation
As you do this, this cell lesson meets in the field; so when you see the cell message, what is done here? Confirmation takes place. You get to confirm how people are living their faith—this is confirmed to a certain degree.

5) Core – Organization
After this, on Saturdays our group has the core meeting. What is this? The Word for the week and going into the next week is organized.

Therefore, if you properly hear the message, you will be led all week long. Strangely, those who succeed even abroad are those who do not miss and hold to the message. It is curious. There are many who disappear and are nowhere to be found—those who missed the message. Why did they disappear? Because things went so poorly that they were ashamed and disappeared. Even among those who came from overseas, those about whom I think, “Ah, this person will become a proper disciple,” are those who do not miss the message. Isn’t that so? This (Main 2) becomes the important timetable. Now, the Word does not end with this.

3. Field
It is connected to the field. And so important “works” come out.

1) The work that defeats the Nephilim
At last, a work that defeats the Nephilim comes out. If you do not know this, it is a big problem. The work that defeats the Nephilim clearly comes out.

2) Learning that saves the world
Then the students study, and it becomes learning that completely saves the world—because this (Main 2) answer comes.

3) Healing the world
And what then? Many people in the world seem to just live, but it is hard. The answer that heals the world comes out. Through you, it happens naturally.

4) Only · Uniqueness · Re-creation
From this time, what answers come to your work and studies? The answer of Only comes. If this is coming to your work, that is normal. It is evidence that you are not missing the message and are praying. Only. There is no need to compete. Only. If you hold to this, answers come. Uniqueness. And your studies and your work make others live. Re-creation. Such answers clearly come.

5) Disciples (the throne)
At last, what then? While you enjoy the blessing of the throne, the work of making disciples takes place. Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me, and I am with you always, to the end of the age.” He set a condition: “Go and make disciples.” “Make disciples” means, “Make them know the facts.” And “Teach them to obey all that I have commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

There is no need to give other reasons. If you hold to the covenant, answers like this (the text) come. The covenant and evangelism messages you are holding now—because these are what God has given—you must be startled, knowing they are Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation. Wow. There is no time to think of what is wrong or complicated. Is there so much time for such irrelevant things? There is no time to think. Those who are getting a bit older—you must be a bit healthy, so without useless thoughts, just hold to the covenant and go. You must gain strength so you can make others live.

▣ Conclusion
Then what conclusion comes? If you hold to this covenant and pray every day, what arises from then on?

1. The five powers
The five powers clearly arise. Spiritual strength comes, wisdom given by God comes, and from then on, soundness in spirit and body comes. At last, the economy of light begins to live; because disciples arise through the economy of light, manpower comes alive, and doors begin to open for ten million disciples to arise.

2. Seventy regions
At the very least, your work and studies must be able to influence the seventy regions. It goes like this. When it is not like this, do not do other things—do this (Main). If it is not working and you keep doing other things, that is not right. Jesus said so. “Wait.” “Lord, is it at this time that the kingdom is restored to Israel?” “It is not for you to know.” That means, “That is not something you can do.” We keep thinking like that. They were asking about the kingdom being restored then, political things being solved. “That is not for you to know. Wait.” “Wait for what the Father promised. Not many days from now you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Then you will receive power. You will be My witnesses to the ends of the earth.” Jesus spoke so.

3. Seventy disciples
Then, on top of that, you set up the seventy disciples.
Even unbelievers—those who are smart—raise disciples. Shall I give an example? In Seoul now, Chef Jang Ji-ho had held to the message since high school; he does not miss the Word. Holding to it firmly, he succeeded. After hearing my message, the next day he wrote to the president of the largest hotel in Daegu: “I want to work at your restaurant.” The president replied, “Come after you graduate high school,” because he had written while still in high school. And truly, he did so; he got a job at the top-level restaurant in Japan. There are many top places, surely, but Japan is entirely different. The head chef has a separate room. Not just anyone can go in there.

As he was cooking there, someone with eyes in Korea “picked” Jang Ji-ho: “I will set up a restaurant for you in Korea. Run the restaurant.” That person owns dozens of restaurants and looks for such talents. Seventy regions, seventy disciples—unbelievers do it even better. The fact that this person, though not believing in God, picked such a youth shows he has eyes. Right? Jesus said this. “Receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit, set up the seventy disciples, and go.” That’s it. He raised disciples.

So, looking at this person—down in Gangnam—he just sits and earns money. Others do all the work. He just sits and goes around to collect payments. This is smart. He raises talents. He earns money. He earns comfortably. Even if he sits still, money comes in. This is a smart person. For others, even if they work to death, money does not come in. How can one live like that?

Disciples. If you truly have answers, be witnesses. It is certain. Then, when I visited with my assistants—since he has skill, he has no worry about money. They set up the whole restaurant for him. People recognize it. When we arrived at the entrance, what was written on the restaurant? “We do not accept walk-in customers.” What happens if a restaurant does not accept customers? “We accept reservations only.” When we went in, they accepted no one else. Only us. And then, nationwide and worldwide, they gather high-level personnel and run restaurants this way. Truly, there are people who live like this. While some fail and wander every day, these people are full of leisure.

May our remnants acquire such skill. It is not difficult. If you miss everything, it is difficult—but why miss the message? Hold tightly to the message. That Ji-ho held tightly to the message from childhood. From what I see, he will greatly succeed. We must succeed within the gospel—what is the use of doing it outside the gospel?

May today be a time of power in which the creative Word comes upon you. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, let today also be an important day. Let it be a day of creation. Let it be a day of healing. Let it be a day when our eyes are opened to enjoy the answers of Only, Uniqueness, and Re-creation. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
