300% for the 3 Courtyards

Prayer Journal: December 16, 2025
15. Mar. 2025 Remnant & TCK Study of Evangelism
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 62:6-12

All evangelists must know this, but there is something the remnants must know first.
[ The destruction of Israel, captivity ]
The timetable of destruction came to Israel. Because there was no gospel, the northern kingdom of Israel was taken captive by Assyria, and the southern kingdom of Judah was taken captive to Babylon. You must remember this for sure.
[ Preparation for world evangelization ]
At this time, God was preparing world evangelization. The remnants completely triumphed in Babylon. They could not help but triumph, because people who held the covenant went in. What happened in between?
[ Isaiah ]
A person named Isaiah delivered the message. These people of Israel did not listen to the message. Those who listened to the message went in and evangelized the world.

「The three courtyards – 300%」
Therefore, the remnants must prepare 300% for the three courtyards. This is how the remnants prepared. What is 100% and what is 300%? One hundred percent for myself, one hundred percent for the field, and one hundred percent for the future. The remnants take this with them.

1. Prayer 300% (Isaiah 62:6–12)
In order to do this, the remnants must prepare 300% in prayer. This is Isaiah chapter 62 verses 6 through 12.

  1. Watchmen
He said He set watchmen. These watchmen are 24.
  2. All day and all night
So God said, “I will answer all day and all night.” This is 24 hours. “All day and all night I will not be silent.” After this, works arise.
  3. Highway, all nations
Repair the highway, and raise a banner for all nations. These things happen. This was later fulfilled. Where? In Babylon. God’s Word never fails.

2. Mission 300%
Then what is mission 300%?

  1. Isaiah 60:1–2
In Isaiah chapter 60 verses 1–2, the remnants arise, and the remnants begin to return from afar.
  2. Isaiah 60:3–19
In Isaiah chapter 60 verses 3 through 19, you see everything returning. Ships come carrying treasures.
  3. Isaiah 60:20–22
And in Isaiah chapter 60 verses 20 through 22 it says that the smallest will become a thousand and the weakest a mighty nation. Who does this? “I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time.” These blessings return. It happened exactly as written. Why Babylon? Because 237 is there.

[ Healing ]
This part, prayer 300%, mainly speaks about healing.
[ 237 ]
This part, mission 300%, speaks about 237.
And it does not end there. It was given from the beginning.

3. Summit 300% (Isaiah 6:1–13)
The remnants must prepare summit 300%. What in the world is summit 300%? This is Isaiah chapter 6 verses 1 through 13. This is prayer 300%, but it is already summit 300%. What appears first?

  1. The throne
The power of the throne appeared. God is seated on the throne, and His power is revealed. At that time, seraphim and angels are mobilized. This is tremendous.
  2. Calling, vocation, mission
At that time, three things were given: calling, vocation, and mission. They are similar words, but slightly different. What comes down from above is the calling. I am summoned. I end up doing this.
  3. The stump – RT
This is what was said at that time: “A stump will remain.” I call this the remnant. In fact, a stump is the base connected to the roots. Everything was cut down by the enemy, but they could not cut the ground. The roots remained. New shoots began to come up from there. That is the remnant. Gospel-holding adults are the stump, and the next generation that grows from it is the remnant. It became a tree, and later formed a forest. Life began to spring out from there.

[ 5000 ]
Seeing this, you must become the summit that saves this. Without remnants, you cannot save the 5000 tribes. Therefore, from now on, you must actually pray about inviting people from the 5000 tribes. God spoke about world evangelization, but if I do not raise even one disciple within world evangelization, my direction is wrong.

In the past, an elite young man from England stayed at my house for three months. Every day I delivered the message to him, and I took him with me to meetings and to house-church fields. I even fed him soup made by a church deaconess; he said it was delicious. I did not tell him what it was until he left, because if I had, he would have fainted. Through this young man, another unusual person became connected. After about three months, a strange man came claiming to be a prophet. He said he had accurately foretold many things. What surprised me was that when I asked how he came here, he said he told this young man to come here. That young man was the son of a wealthy family and a top student at the University of Edinburgh, but he was told he needed to learn the evangelism movement. After three months, he came to take him back. It was astonishing. He gave one more prophecy and left, saying that the remnant movement is a movement that saves the world, and that although he was British, he would take part in a movement to save America. It was not offensive, so I accepted it. Now about twenty-five years have passed. He came to my house twenty-five years ago, and now remnants are beginning to rise all over the world.

Remnants must do it this way: prayer 300%, mission 300%, and then your work becomes 300%. That is becoming a summit. Let us pray.

Prayer. We give thanks to God. Please open our eyes so that we can see the distant future now. Those who did not listen went into captivity, but the remnants accomplished world evangelization. Let us see that covenant. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer Journal: December 15, 2025
2024 Southeast Asia Evangelism Lecture 2
Theme: “Opportunity of 237” (Acts 1:1-8)

Introduction
Continuity is important. Just do it. As I saw it in the Bible, I will talk once about prayer. On Sundays or Fridays, it is good for you to 반드시 do this. And for remnants, it is good to set aside one day during the three-day weekend age and try it. Pastors must do this because they preach. Jesus, during His three years of public ministry, what did He say? Simply put, He talked about throwing everything away. He spoke of throwing away even the Sabbath. In Matthew chapter 5 He said that the blessings you talk about are not blessings. In chapter 6 He said that the prayer you are doing is not prayer. In Matthew chapter 7 He said that the faith life you are living, judging by the law, is not faith life. Jesus kept going only to places that needed correction.
1) John 14:16, 14:26, 16:13 So at the very end He said this: I will send you the Counselor, the Holy Spirit; He will always be with you; in verse 26 He will remind you of everything; and in John 16:13 the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, will be with you forever and will tell you what is to come.
2) 40 Days – Mission Then for forty days He made them find an important mission. Church leaders cannot memorize all of the pastor’s sermon. Even the one who preached cannot memorize it. On Sunday you must enjoy this and find the mission. Whether small or large, you must do this to receive important answers. Remnants also must listen to the Sunday sermon and find the mission. Over forty days, simply put, a mission was given personally to each individual.
3) Seasons (Spiritual) And then they came down to Mark’s upper room. Here, very important feasts matter. “When the day of Pentecost had fully come”—Passover is that we have already received salvation, and the Feast of Tabernacles is our background. Today’s worship and receiving grace are because the day of Pentecost had already come; if Sunday worship succeeds, everything succeeds. Pastors need no other preparation when preaching; they must clearly deliver the mission.
4) Acts 2:42 Then it is Acts 2:42, following the apostles’ teaching. Adults must do this. When listening to the pastor’s sermon, you must ride the flow of where God is leading. Whether the pastor preaches well or not does not matter at all. Even if it is the greatest meeting, if you miss this, you miss everything. Preachers may look at many commentaries with their lives on the line, but they do not need that; they must pray, “What does God want to give?” The prayer I prayed after coming here was not how I would preach or whether I would preach well, but what God wants to give to the Philippines. On Sunday you must find the mission and the flow of the Word. This is important.
5) Acts 2:46–47 “Every day in the temple and from house to house.” You must ride the flow of prayer answers that arise daily from hearing the Word. This must be done.
6) Acts 3:1–12 Next, what prayer must be prayed together? This is called fixed-time prayer.
7) 24 / 25 / eternity If you continue this prayer, it becomes so. It simply becomes 24 prayer. Asking where to pray shows you do not know prayer. Asking when to pray shows you do not know prayer. It is 24. Did Joseph choose a place to pray? No—24. Then this comes: 25, the work of God’s kingdom is accomplished. This does not happen elsewhere. You must start from this Sunday and continue. Try it and see how answers come. You do not even need to wait for a specific answer—just try it.

Main – Everyday, Always
From this point, it must be done every day. It must always be done.

1. 24 – “Enjoy”
First is enjoying 24. Pray this way. In my case, I do not set a prayer time because then promises are not kept.
1) 3 Concentration Three concentrations. When you open your eyes in the morning, prayer begins. Until when? Until this comes—do it unconditionally. That is morning. During the day, turn everything into prayer. At night, find answers. This is 24. You must start this now.
2) 7/7/7 Then the content is this: bartizan / journey / guidepost.
3) Imprint When you do this, God-given 7/7/7—bartizan / journey / guidepost—becomes imprinted. This is most important. As you keep praying, they are imprinted.

2. 25 – “Waiting”
What happens then? This 반드시 comes: waiting—waiting for God’s kingdom to come.
1) 3 Setting From this point, a platform begins to be formed. Before answers come, a platform is formed. Strength arises within you and a platform keeps being formed, and naturally a watchman bartizan that saves people is established. Messages and the whole connect in communication. This is called the three settings.
2) 7/7/7 – Answer Now it is 25, a different timetable. From here, answers called 7/7/7 begin to come. Real answers come from here—answers beyond imagination continue to arise.
3) Root Roots begin to go down. Try it once. Amazing things will happen. As I always say, do everything. In the morning, when you open your eyes, breathe slowly and put all this prayer in. On inhaling and exhaling, toward the meeting and toward you, tremendous health will arise. Even if only in the morning, do it. If you do not breathe long upon waking, remnants’ brains do not come alive. Your brain stopped at twenty-five; your lungs also stopped. You must find health within prayer. In the morning simply, and at night quietly find answers. Asking how to pray shows you do not know prayer; prayer is 24. While going to Bali, I observed meditation movements, Buddhist practices in temples, and even Freemason halls—when they gather and how they do it. You must understand well: that is not it. We are 24, wherever we are. Then this 반드시 comes: God’s kingdom is accomplished.

3. Eternal – “Challenge”
From here, it is challenge. How do we challenge?
1) 3 Answer God gives answers; we go into problems, conflicts, and crises carrying answers.
2) 7/7/7 – Masterpiece We go already holding a masterpiece.
3) Nature At this time, the bartizan / journey / guidepost of the throne become completely part of one’s nature. This is prayer. Anywhere is fine. You must do this. There must be a way to concentrate in prayer; I concentrate through breathing. When remnants pray this way, work will surely arise. Therefore, it is essential. To the elders and church leaders who came to greet us today: if you start this prayer now, this will come. Without this, missions cannot be done.

Conclusion
1) 300% What is 300%? The bartizan God gives me is 100%. The journey God leads is 100%. The system God has prepared is 100%. Always prepare like this. Sometimes you ask how to prepare 300% every day—this is how.
2) Absolute Find three things: (1) Plan—what is God’s absolute plan? (2) Field—what is God’s absolute field? (3) System—what is the absolute system that carries this out and moves forward? Then it becomes 300%. From now on, do not miss it; answers to prayer must continue to arise.
3) Edit / Plan / Design Edit so that God’s Word is seen. Design so that God’s plan is seen. Design so that God’s plan is seen in the field. This is 300%. From now on, you must do this unconditionally. If you go to evangelism without this, it is hard. Especially for our young adults here, going out without this is suffering. You must go 100% led by the Holy Spirit. How do you receive that? If it is not seen, do not go. Pray until it is seen. When you start this prayer, it is seen. Then prepare the field 100%. Most important is the third: prepare a sustaining system 100%. Then it works. Amazing works will arise. I have said this several times: when I was in seminary, I prepared 300%. What content of evangelism? What about the evangelism field? How to sustain it? I prepared. Works arose without exception. I was amazed. I went to Yeongdo; there were few members. With what content should I do it? I gathered thirty members and explained this 100% for two weeks—preparation 100%. Then I opened 300 house churches—the field. Then I trained disciples to send others, and soon 3,000 disciples arose. You must do this. Remnants especially, but all of you must find the absolute plan of 300%. Next year when we meet again, we will see many fruits in the Philippines. Especially, remnants, prepare 300%. Even Bill Gates does this—why not you? Then it becomes very easy. I watch you from behind, and when I see you making very difficult things extremely hard and doing uncertain things with great effort, I cry out, “Lord!” Street evangelism is not bad; it is in the Bible. But that is meeting people on the way while led by the Holy Spirit, not going out unprepared scattering tracts. Door-to-door evangelism is in the Bible, but barging into homes without the Spirit’s guidance brings reproach. Prepare studies 300%; that is the end. Which university you graduate from is not the key; whether this is prepared is the key. What job you will have matters, but this matters more. Joseph entered as a cleaner and did this among slaves, and later became prime minister. Prayer is 24; answers are 25; what we leave is eternity. Let us give all glory to the Triune God. We believe it will surely be fulfilled.

Prayer. God, we give thanks. Let the work of saving 5,000 tribes fully arise in the Philippines. Let 300% prepared remnants arise. Let church leaders arise who save me, the field, and the church. Bless us not to miss the most blessed opportunity. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How Should We Begin?

Prayer Journal: December 13, 2025 “How Should We Begin?”
2024 Southeast Asia Evangelism Lecture 1
Theme: “Opportunity of 237” (Acts 1:1-8)
Scripture Reading: Matthew 6:10, 6:33, Acts 1:3, 19:8

When we face challenging times, we ask: “How should we begin?” If the start is wrong, nothing works, and that is exactly why so many things we do do not work.

The disciples asked Jesus, “How should we pray?” And Jesus answered clearly: pray for the kingdom of God to come. He repeated it again. Asking for this and that is not real prayer, because God already knows what we need. Therefore, He said, seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

And at the end of His earthly ministry, Jesus did not give a casual instruction—He spoke about the kingdom of God for forty days. Not four days—forty days. It was His final pulpit message. And He even called them separately to Mt Olive. You must catch the point quickly.

Paul realized it, although he wasn’t even there!. And God entrusted world evangelization to him—simply put, the evangelization of Rome. But the tragedy is that most Christians still do not know what prayer is. That is why, before we talk about evangelizing Musanze, Jimma, and Africa, we must first receive real answers.

This is what the Jews missed. They did not even understand original sin. There are many churches like that. Anyone—even an unbeliever—can repent of personal sins. But original sin cannot be solved that way. That is why Christ had to come. They also do not know the reality of Satan, what Satan has done, or how Satan works. So they looked at Jesus and asked foolish questions: “Are you the leader of Satan? Are you casting out demons?”

And shockingly, even the apostles failed to understand it. They did not grasp what Jesus was saying. So if we are not careful, we become like that. Look at what happened: Peter kept going to the mission fields where Paul was laboring and kept saying different things. The most miserable thing for a pastor is this—when church members say, “Our pastor is not the gospel.” That is misery. And the problem only got worse: everywhere Paul went, they insisted, “You still must keep the Jewish law.” James spoke like that, and it is recorded in Galatians 2. They even said, “You still must be circumcised.” Paul could not bear it. He confronted Peter directly: “Do you keep the Jewish law perfectly? Why do you tell others to keep what you cannot keep? Is it not only Christ? Were we not crucified with Christ? Is it not Christ who lives in us?” With that, God moved the lampstand to Antioch. And the apostles could not evangelize Rome—not because the field was too hard, but because they held on to the wrong things. Even the medieval church missed it. They did not know at all.

Why did God lead His people to the wilderness for 40 years following the Exodus? Why didn’t He bring them into the land of Canaan? It only takes a week on foot. In the wilderness He gave the crucial meaning of the three feasts. Passover speaks of salvation—the day the blood was applied. Pentecost speaks of the power of the Holy Spirit. And the Feast of Ingathering speaks of gathering the harvest into the storehouse, and that storehouse explains the throne. But the Jews, from the beginning, kept these three in the worst way. God was already warning them from the start.

That is why Jesus called the remnants. He gathered them Himself and spoke three things.

First: Change. There is something we must change. If we do not know this, we cannot move forward. What must we change? We must change the bartizan within us. If you do not change it, you will never overcome Satan’s bartizan. In Matthew 12:26–30, Jesus revealed that Satan’s bartizan is inside you, and it must be changed.

Satan has twelve strategies, and we are imprinted by them. What did Satan give first? “I only think of myself”—that is Genesis 3: you are the center; you are the best; you can be like God. Then comes Genesis 6: you can gain power. Then Genesis 11: build the tower of Babel. That is why Satan’s bartizan stands firmly. Without anyone teaching them, people go worship idols. Without anyone teaching them, they build idol shrines. Without anyone teaching them, they perform rituals and chase meditation.

So Jesus said in John 8:44, even to religious people, “Your father is the devil.” They could not understand, and they faced disasters again and again.

The bartizan in us must be changed by prayer. Change it into the bartizan of the throne. This is why I pray in the morning: “Let the Triune God come upon me as a bartizan. Let the power of the throne come upon me as a bartizan. Let the power You promised come upon me as a bartizan. Let the power that solved past, present, and future come upon me. Let the five powers come upon me. Let the power to overcome the ruler of the power of the air come upon me. Let the CVDIP that sees the age come upon me. Let the three courtyards come upon our church.” It must be changed quickly. If it does not change, you keep calculating, living for yourself, measuring benefit and loss. But we are not people of calculation; we are people of the covenant.

That is why Daniel’s three friends said, “Even if we die, it is okay. Even if God does not save us, it is okay.” Daniel prayed three times a day with thanksgiving. Esther said, “If I perish, I perish.” When the early church gathered in the upper room, it was dangerous—so what? They might be arrested—so what? Evangelism might cost their lives—so what? They eventually won. They overcame the evil schemes of Jews. They overcame powerful Macedonia. They overcame Rome. The early church overcame everything because Jesus changed them for forty days. “Change!” Or you won’t be able to escape from the Nephilim culture. Throw it away. If you follow the Nephilim culture and you and your children will die.

Second: Seek. Find the journey God has given. Find the road the Triune God leads. The three answers are still happening now. Find the ten sure footholds. Find the ten secrets that guarantee victory. Find the five assurances of the throne, the nine flows of the throne, and the lifelong answer of the throne. Today is the camp of the throne—this is our journey—and we continue it by prayer. Jesus begged us to pray for the kingdom of God, but people ignore that and pray only, “Give me this, give me that.” What the world is creating is the Babel culture, and the tower of Babel will eventually collapse.

Third: Build. Build the guidepost of the throne that never collapses. This is the key: Change, Seek, Build. This is what I pray. What else is there to do? Do what Jesus told you to do. You do not even need to pray desperately for good health because it is all included: the guidepost of Mount Calvary that solved all problems; the unshakable guidepost of Mt Olive; the guidepost of Mark’s upper room; the guidepost of Antioch that changed the age; the beginning of missions under complete guidance of the Holy Spirit; the guidepost of Asia; and when the road is blocked, you do not quit or chase other things—you take the turning point to Macedonia; and you also must see Rome—this guidepost.

Paul realized this. In Acts 19:8, before Rome, in the synagogue, for three months he boldly explained the kingdom of God. He did not start with missions—he first received the guidance of the Holy Spirit. After receiving answers, he went out. He reenacted what happened in Mark’s upper room. He built the bartizan first. Then he broke darkness, healed the demon-possessed, and healed incurable disease. That is the journey.

And what did God say? “You must also see Rome.” God even quoted Paul’s confession: “Be bold; you must testify in Rome.” In the storm: “Do not be afraid. You must stand before Caesar.” God did not say, “You worked hard, so I will save you.” God did not say, “You preached well, so I will save you.” God said, “You must stand before Caesar.” Because when someone holds God’s accurate covenant, God quotes their message. If there is still mission to accomplish, you cannot die. If there is no more to do, dying is not a tragedy. Why struggle, hurting yourself and others, just to keep breathing?

So here is the conclusion: do exactly this. You must become addicted to the gospel and prayer. If you become addicted to bad things like drugs, your life will be ruined. But if you become addicted to the gospel, addicted to prayer, you begin to say, “I love praying. Praying is my happiness. Praying gives me strength.” That is addiction. “The gospel is everything. Only the gospel. Only this can save you, your family-line, your church, your region and nation, and Africa. Only this can save the world.” That is addiction. People always do what they are addicted to.

When that happens, three answers come. First, transcendence of time and space happens. Second, 237 and 5,000 finally become visible—because transcendence is at work. Third, unprecedented answers come. Prayer is transcendence of time and space. Only then does 237 connect. By prayer, the 5,000 tribes connect. Then the unprecedented answer comes to each remnant. That is the end. Who can stop you? No one can. Answers will keep coming, and you will be busy—busy receiving this blessing.

We and our remnants must remember. What we need is not a vague devotion, but an accurate covenant. We are not simply “preaching the gospel”—we are preaching only the gospel. That is the accurate covenant. And it is not “let’s try to pray more.” It is only prayer that finds everything. And it is not “let’s do missions,” because anyone can do that kind of missions. For us it is only missions. That is the accurate covenant.

Then we must take the proper attitude. What attitude? To be able to find the life of “only.” Then the life of uniqueness follows, and then the life of re-creation comes. Don’t just try to do the best. Discover the 300% God has prepared for you.

You are truly important. You are God’s chosen instrument to save 5,000 tribes. So, change your bartizan to the bartizan of the throne, seek the journey of the throne, and build the guidepost of the throne through prayer 24.

Prayer. Father, we thank You for giving us the accurate covenant. Establish within us the bartizan of the throne so that we live by only the gospel, only prayer, and only missions. Change our thoughts, our direction, and our attitude. Lead us on Your journey and help us build unshakable guideposts of the throne. Let our prayer transcend time and space, break darkness, and open the way to 237 nations and 5,000 tribes. May unprecedented answers come to every remnant, church leader, and evangelist, for the glory of Your kingdom, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Take With You Some of the Elders of Israel

Prayer Journal: December 12, 2025
09. Mar. 2025 Immanuel Church Sunday Worship 2nd Service
Scripture Reading: Exodus 17:1-7

It was, as expected, a world-class praise. Our church members sincerely gave the applause of glory.

▣ Introduction
While the people of Israel were going on the wilderness road, even though the answers were all given already in today’s first service,
1. Quarrel – stone
Now there was no water again, so this time another quarrel broke out. How far had it gone? It had come to the point where they were in a situation of actually trying to strike Moses with stones.
2. In Egypt
At that time, when God told Moses to pray, He spoke these words to Moses: “Take the staff that was used in Egypt.”
3. Mt Horeb, rock
“And go again to Mt Horeb where you received grace. There I will cause water to come out from the rock.” That is what He said. At this time He spoke an important word. Now as we read the important main text, it is connected with our elders’ dedication worship service. It was not intentionally matched like this. As we read,
「Take the elders of Israel with you」
At that time God said, “Do not go alone; take the elders of Israel with you.” He said it twice. “When you bring out water, do it there in front of the elders. And take that staff that was used in Egypt, and together with the elders, go and pray.”
(Exodus 17:5-6)
This is what appears in verses 5 and 6, although we read verse 1 of chapter 17 today. I understand this word very well.
When I was young, there were elders who helped me. That decided my life. Of course, I did not know it. God did it that way. When I was an assistant pastor and was vigorously doing the evangelism movement, there was an elder who helped me to do it. That created the foundation for what is now world evangelization. Of course, I do not know well with what intention the elder did it. However, he helped me like that. That is what I think. Elders must know well how greatly blessed they are, and how greatly blessed the people are who will receive. This is not the first time I have said this.
(Exodus 3:10-20)
He also spoke about it at Mt Horeb in Exodus chapter 3. He spoke about it at the beginning. “Lead the people of Israel out. Speak first to the elders.” The same thing came out. Here, in fact, a great crisis has come right now. It is to the point of trying to stone him, and at that time, “Take the elders to where you will bring out water. Do it in front of the elders.”
I think of about three things.
[ New believers ]
New believers can be said to learn their life of faith from ministers. However, their social life related to faith is learned from elders. What is important here is not that the elders know well and teach. God gives His word to the elder so that the elder may raise the new believers. My experience up to now is like that. So, “Ah, this is something tremendous!” Ministers teach God’s word, but for these people to move out in society, God gives words to the elders and guides them. Here, what church members must not misunderstand is that through Peter, the word was given in Mark’s upper room. That was not Peter’s character. God gave it.
[ RT-work ]
Also, before remnants go 300% into work, where do they receive guidance? They must receive the guidance of the elders.
[ Evangelism+missions ]
Also, what our ministers and assistant ministers must be concerned about is that the people who received the most important answers at the evangelism and missions field were the church leaders, the elders. Even now, when you look around mission fields, any mission field where elders stand firmly will unconditionally come alive. A mission field where elders are not established—when those missionaries return, it is over. It is important. So they call a church without elders an “unorganized church.” It means it is not organized. And that pastor cannot become the chair of the session. Why? Because there is no session. Right? They say it is less organized, so legally, they call it an “unorganized church.” When the session is formed, they call it an “organized church.” Since there is a session, they appoint one pastor as “chair of the session.” It is that important. Legally, a church without a session cannot establish a senior pastor. Administratively, too, it is like that. So whenever there was something important, God delivered the message through the elder to the field. It is not only this. They bring down Jericho. Do you know what they said when doing that? “Let us cross the Jordan.” Do you know what they said when doing that? “Deliver it first to all the officers. We will cross the Jordan.” That is the elder. Even before that, when circling Jericho, “Have the officers lead the circling.” To bring down Jericho, in simple terms, at the very front, the officers, the elders, lined up and went out. And they followed the ark of the covenant. When you see these histories, it is tremendous.
Why is that? These elders have three reasons.
[ Leader ]
They were the leaders of Israel. And what else?
[ Together ]
They were people who always communicated together with Moses in ordinary times.
[ Beginning-end ]
And the third, which is important, is that the elders were the people who prepared from the very beginning when it started and went all the way to the end. Now then, what blessings must elders receive, and what covenant must they know? In simple terms, they must know from beginning to end. Why? Because they are the ones who will go to the end. You do not just look at any new believer and say, “Hey, you’re handsome. Be an elder.” You do not do that. They are people who were there from the beginning.

▣ Main
So I say that the five books of Moses are tremendous.
1. Genesis
What was delivered in Genesis?
1) Problem – cause, answer
The cause and answer to the problems of human life are in Genesis.
2) World evangelization
And from the beginning of Genesis, world evangelization is commanded.
3) Genesis 12:1-3
A person appeared who understood these words, and that was Abraham.
Genesis 37:1-11
As this blessing passed through several generations, world evangelization finally took place through Joseph.
Genesis 45:1-5
He becomes the prime minister and comes to move the world.
This is the covenant delivered to the church leader. Now, it did not end there. From beginning to end, you all must know everything.
2. Exodus
What is Exodus?
1) Exodus
God is saying that He will bring the people of Israel out of Egypt. The person who firmly held this covenant was Moses, but there were elders there. So even if countless people complained, it is of no use. The elders firmly held the covenant. This is the tremendous history that took place on the wilderness road.
2) Out of wilderness
Out of wilderness. It is God’s will. No one can block it. No complaint matters. What is more important is the third.
3) Out of darkness
Out of darkness. Going out in the wilderness, coming out of Egypt—those are not the main thing; it is out of darkness. Elders must surely know this. Because they are the ones who will deliver this blessing. It did not end there.
3. Leviticus
It is Leviticus. Leviticus mainly speaks about what?
1) Tabernacle
It speaks about the tabernacle—meaning our sanctuary.
2) Ark of the covenant
Inside it is the ark of the covenant.
3) Christ (worship)
All the instruments of the tabernacle explain Christ. The light, the bread, all explain Christ. What comes out from here is worship. The church that teaches people to worship the most in the world is the church that has the gospel covenant. Yet it has taken hold of the world’s intellect. It gives the most offerings, and has so many sacrifices that it always brings and offers them—that is what the Bible says. Right? Yet it has taken hold of the economy. It is an amazing thing. One conglomerate owner cannot do world evangelization. Right? When church members and elders in all regions rise, the offerings that you give do world evangelization. Isn’t that so? Therefore, the representatives of each region are the elders. It is extremely important.
4. Numbers
It is Numbers. What is Numbers?
1) Twelve tribes
The twelve tribes. They were selected from the beginning.
2) Twelve regions
What is more important is this: do you know when they entered the land of Canaan? The twelve regions. Before even going, they analyzed everything.
3) Spies
And they sent spies. These spies came back and made their report worthless. They said they could not go. But Moses says, “Let’s go.” The ones who made the report were Joshua and Caleb, but the ones who agreed and resolved together were the elders. This is important. Those elders are the leaders of all regions. So in English it is Elder, meaning an adult. If these people say they cannot go, then they cannot go. That makes no sense. That cannot be. They are people who receive complete guidance from God. Entering Canaan is God’s plan. No incident can block it.
5. Deuteronomy
What comes last here? It is Deuteronomy. What is Deuteronomy? It is imprinting before entering. It is imprinting what has happened up to now. The elders knew this. So it is a finished fight.
Everything is in Genesis, in the five books of Moses. If you do not know Genesis, you will not know at all the Nephilim problem that is happening now. The Eden incident, the Nephilim Noah incident, the Tower of Babel incident—those are happening exactly the same right now.
1) Deuteronomy 6:4-9
So what came out? Isn’t it Deuteronomy 6:4-9? “Imprint it to the next generation. Imprint everything that has happened up to now. So that they do not forget at all, attach it on the forehead, on the wrist, and on the walls.” This is now what you must do. Right? This makes them conquer the world.
2) Joshua, Caleb
Here, two representative figures appear: Joshua and Caleb.
3) The remnant (next generation)
So, centered on Joshua and Caleb, it is the remnant, the next generation, right? They entered. They entered and conquered the land of Canaan. They thought they were suffering in the wilderness, but that was not it. When they entered, these enemies living there had occupied someone else’s land, and after hearing the rumor, they all ran away. The people of Israel who defeated Egypt are coming—this is it. Can you defeat Egypt? They did defeat it. Not only that, they are the people who crossed the Red Sea. Then this time they also crossed the Jordan. This is the people who came after breaking down Jericho. This rumor went everywhere. So there are seven tribes there, and there are 31 kings. It is arranged like that because they had been taking advantage among themselves so much. Now, the seven tribes are in the land, on someone else’s land, and there being 31 kings—what does that mean? You can catch what it is, right? Without even needing to remove them, it is written that when they heard the Israelites were coming, their hearts melted. I asked a doctor. I asked, “If the heart melts, what happens?” He said they cannot walk. If the heart melts, they cannot take steps. Then would they fight a war? It is over.
Five blessings that elders must receive. Since this has continued to be fulfilled, it does not change.

▣ Conclusion_ [ Crisis ]
All the times when crisis came became testimonies. When crisis came, Satan was bound in every case. Right? When crisis came, all darkness retreated. All of this becomes testimony material. For example, look. Everything up to now.
1. Red Sea
They crossed the Red Sea. Their hearts melted, these people’s hearts, all the world’s. When they crossed the Red Sea and came over, the surrounding border nations all trembled. And then the next generation was born. The next generation did not experience the Red Sea, right? So God makes them experience it.
2. Jordan
They cross the Jordan. God is training them perfectly. This is all testimony material. The dangers that come to you are all testimony material.
The praise was also done very well. I did not know the elder in Busan would praise that well. Deaconesses, like before, dance once and break it, and then later do it together once again, like this. I was surprised again when I saw our deaconesses dancing. Busan really cannot be stopped.
3. Jericho
So, would these people stay still knowing they came? The biggest issue now is Jericho. This is a tremendous fortress. While circling it, wouldn’t it be enough for the people inside to throw stones? Their hearts melted and they could not move at all. They broke all of this down.
4. Allied forces
Now they crossed the Red Sea, crossed the Jordan, and they say they are coming to break down Jericho, so the people living there said, “Still, we cannot die like this.” So an allied force rose up. That allied force came out and the Amorite battle happened. There, God works a miracle. He drops hailstones like rocks and strikes them first. That is where the account that the sun and the moon stood still comes from. This is Joshua chapter 10. It is over.
5. Anak
They entered Canaan, and the last fortress remained. That is the hill country of Anak. Where was it that the people of Israel previously trembled at the report? It was this hill country of Anak. They said again that they could not enter. They said it was a big problem. Even though they had come completely. It was an extremely great fortress. It is understandable to tremble. Where was the place the ten spies spoke of? It was here. It was the place where they said, “We cannot go. How can women and children go?” At this time, as you know, the figure who came out was Caleb. He spoke of the old story here. “Forty-five years ago, ten spies said we could not enter. You and I reported that we could go here. At that time, the leader Moses commanded us to go. But are we not here now?” He spoke the covenant directly. “If so, give me this hill country.” He was saying he would fight. At that time, Caleb’s age was 85. “Though my age is 85, it is like then,” he said. How could it be the same? He was speaking of conviction. “If the LORD is with us, we will surely win,” he said. And so they broke it down. Therefore, Caleb’s son-in-law entered and became the first judge in the land of Canaan.
You must go with this covenant. As I will speak in today’s church leaders’ lecture, now centered on our association, we must also form an elders’ council, form a deaconesses’ council, and form an ordained deacons’ council, and make these three that held the church leaders’ conference become great conferences. As long as you hold the covenant, you can absolutely change the world without being shaken at all. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that there will be the blessing of receiving answers continuously with this covenant. I will pray.

Prayer. God, thank You. We give thanks to God who allowed today’s elders’ dedication worship service. We praise God who will surely make us win. Until the day we fully accomplish world evangelization, may God firmly protect us. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

You Will Know That It Was The Lord your God

▣ Introduction
Thank you. Our world churches are worshiping together. Right now Immanuel Seoul, Ulsan, Changwon, Geoje, and several other regions are worshiping together. It would be good, in consultation with headquarters, to prepare things so that as much as possible we can all see each other’s worship in real time. During this worship, it should develop so that Seoul, Changwon, Ulsan, and other regions appear together, those abroad can join and be seen, and we can also show them what God is doing here. Then worship will become very vivid and alive to the field. Secular broadcasters are already doing all of this. And when I look into some other strange organizations, they are running broadcasting systems that surpass KBS. I will not name the group, but it is very advanced. Our church keeps lagging behind.

1. Hardship, sickness, poverty
So today, think about this once. What happens when you suffer too much? While you are living your life, when you face severe hardship, sickness, or things like that. There are also people who are extremely poor, who have nothing to eat.

2. The 10% who live well, the 90% who struggle (50% try, 40% give up)
According to statistics, whether in developed countries or developing countries, it is the same: about 10% of people live well. But 90% say life is hard. Even among people who live in America, which has the most money, 90% are struggling. They are struggling to such a degree that they cannot even give offering properly. Almost all are like that. Among them, 40% have just given up. It is the same for students. Only about 10% say, “I enjoy studying.” Ninety percent say, “Studying is hard.” Among them, 50% are still trying, but 40% have just given up.

3. The Israelites who again began to complain while walking the wilderness path
The Israelites were walking the wilderness path, and it had now been 75 days. The entire assembly once again began to complain. They even said this: “In Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat, did we not eat meat well? At that time we ate all we wanted.” The whole congregation rose up. And they said this: “It would have been better if we had died there in Egypt. Why have you brought us out into this wilderness to die?” Such complaints began to explode.

▣ Main – In the midst of hardship
We can face times like this as we live. But in today’s passage there are some very important answers you must receive. Their thinking was completely mistaken.

1. Restore what was promised – When God called you, He had already prepared and promised everything
First, when God called you, He had already promised everything. It is just that they had not discovered it. “Restore what was promised.”

1) What has already been promised to you
What has already been promised and blessed is upon you.

(1) Exodus 3:7–20 – “Tell him to let My people go so that they may offer a blood sacrifice.”
In Exodus chapter 3, God clearly spoke to Moses. “I have seen the misery of Israel and I have heard their cry.” And He said, “Go to Pharaoh and speak. Speak to the people: ‘The Lord has said, Let My people go so that they may offer a blood sacrifice.’” Moses said, “The Israelites will not listen.” God answered, “Say that the Lord has spoken. Go to Pharaoh and tell him, ‘I will be with you with My mighty hand.’” He said, “That will be the sign.” He spoke very clearly.

(2) Joshua 1:3 – “I have given you the land of Canaan.”
To Joshua He did not simply say, “Go to the land of Canaan.” What did He say? “I have given you the land of Canaan.”

(3) Genesis 13:14–18 – “I have given it to you and your descendants forever.”
To Abraham He did not say, “Do this and that.” He said, “Look north, south, east, and west, and walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I have given it to you and your descendants forever.” What does this mean? Right now, in the wilderness, the Israelites are completely mistaken. They must hold onto what was promised.

(4) Exodus 4:1–23 – “Take the staff in your hand and go before Pharaoh. I will perform My wonders.”
God said to Moses, “What is that in your hand?” He only had a staff. “Take that and go. Go before Pharaoh. I will perform wonders through you.” It was already promised.

2. If you fall into unbelief and complaint, your physical eyes become bright and your spiritual eyes become dark – the Israelites, Adam and Eve
But everywhere the Israelites went, they kept complaining. If you keep doing that, your spiritual eyes become dark. When you keep falling into unbelief and complaint, the most serious thing is that your physical eyes become bright, but your spiritual eyes become dark. After Adam and Eve disobeyed, their physical eyes became bright. They realized they were naked. But their spiritual eyes went completely dark. That is death.

3. God who fulfills exactly as He promised

(1) The ten plagues – The day of the blood sacrifice, the day of Exodus
So God turned the Nile and all the waters of Egypt into blood. Pharaoh was shocked. “Please quickly restore this.” When it was restored, he changed again. That is how Satan is, and that is how human nature is. Once things are restored, they go back to their old ways. So God sent the plague of frogs. Frogs came up everywhere. Then the plagues continued—gnats, flies everywhere. Up to that point Pharaoh was not moved. Then God began to strike the livestock. And He began to destroy their crops. In simple terms, it became an economic disaster. Only then did Pharaoh call Moses, “Please stop this. Go. But do not go too far. Go, offer sacrifices, and come back.” Once it stopped, he changed again. Later, even when locusts came and ate all the grain, even when thick darkness came over the land, he did not yield. But when the firstborn were struck, he surrendered. On the day they applied the blood and offered the sacrifice, they came out. It was exactly as He had promised. Already, when God called you, He had promised to take full responsibility for you. Right? But we keep being deceived.

(2) When crossing the Red Sea – The Egyptian army destroyed – “See the salvation the Lord will accomplish.”
And what happened at the Red Sea? God said, “Go and camp by the sea. Pitch your tents there. I will bury all the Egyptian army in the Red Sea.” He hardened Pharaoh’s heart and sent the army into the sea. It was all promised. Moses knew this, so he said, “Stand firm and you will see the salvation the Lord will accomplish for you today.”

4. When you face hardship
There will be times when you face hardship. Students may face hardship in their studies. You may face hardship in your work. Your life itself may be difficult.

(1) If you misunderstand, your physical eyes become bright and only your spiritual eyes become dark. When God’s Word is not seen, the future is not seen and you only see your present reality, so you go down a wrong path.
At such times, people misunderstand. In misunderstanding, their physical eyes become bright. “Look, back in Egypt, didn’t we eat plenty of meat?” That is a true statement. “We sat by the pots of meat and ate as much as we wanted. When the overseers were not watching, we sometimes stole and ate, did we not? If only we had died there, we would not suffer like this. Why did you bring us out here into this wilderness to die?” They were speaking very logically. They attacked Moses with very sophisticated words. This is what people whose spiritual eyes are dark do. How can they attack so precisely like that? “When we were in Egypt, did we not eat all the meat we wanted?” They stirred up the whole assembly. Today’s Scripture says, “the whole congregation.” Then only their spiritual eyes went dark. Now they could not see the future. When you cannot see the future, your present becomes completely dark. You no longer see God’s Word. Some people then go down a wrong path. Some people commit suicide. Some commit crimes. They fall into things. God had promised, “You will go to the land of Canaan.” He had promised, “I will bring you out of Egypt.” That is the first point.

(2) Restore what was promised – First open your spiritual eyes – The covenant does not change.
Restore what was promised. First open your spiritual eyes. If their spiritual eyes had been open, they would not have spoken that way. “Even if we die on this wilderness path, it is okay. Somehow we must live and we must go for the sake of our future generations.” That is at least a somewhat sober statement. That is what a more normal person would say. “When we were in Egypt, did we not eat all the meat we wanted?” That is a true statement, but that is not the kind of thing ordinary simpletons say—these are clever words. “Even if we die on the way, let us go.” That is a more normal statement, but even that is not the correct one. The right confession is, “Let us go to the land the Lord has promised.” The covenant does not change.

The first thing you must hold onto when you face hardship is this: restore what was promised. So open your spiritual eyes. Open the eyes that see the future.

2. Find what God has prepared – “Then you will know that I am the Lord your God” (verses 6–7, 12)
Second, in every hardship, what does God make you discover? He says, “Then you will know that I am the Lord who brought you out of Egypt. Do not worry. In the evening I will give you meat, and in the morning I will give you bread. Then you will know that I am the Lord who brought you out of Egypt.” That is verse 6. And in verse 7, “In the morning you will see the glory of the Lord.” Verse 7 says that, and verse 12 says, “Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.” What does this mean? He will make them completely realize what God has prepared—“You will know that I am the Lord your God.” When you truly want to pray in the midst of serious hardship, human strength is not enough.

1) Joseph – A witness before Potiphar, his brothers, and Pharaoh that the Lord was with him
This is what Joseph, who had suffered great hardship, confessed. What did he say? If an ordinary person said this, we might take it lightly. But Joseph said it as a witness: “The Lord was with me.” He showed this to Potiphar. He said the same to his brothers: “The Lord sent me ahead of you.” He said the same before Pharaoh: “The Lord will make the meaning of the dream known.” You cannot stop a person like this. When our Remnants truly succeed, they can say, “The Lord…” When we feel ashamed, we cannot speak that way. But when we have victory, we can say, “Because the Lord was with me.”

The purpose of giving hardship in the wilderness is not only to restore the covenant, but also to restore what God has given. The most important thing is this: “I will show you that I am the Lord who brought you out of Egypt, who lets you see My glory every day.”

2. The evangelist’s confession – Seeing that God was with him through his mother (his mother’s prayer)
May this become your covenant.

As I always say, I did not learn faith from my father. My father always said what was right, so I could not learn faith from him. He always argued, always insisted on what was right, and he was very diligent. He would get up at 4 a.m. every morning. He was amazing. It would have been fine if he got up by himself, but he would wake me up at 4 a.m. too. It was exhausting. And at 4 a.m. he would go out. He was amazing. He thought I was studying until that time, but of course as soon as he left, I went to sleep. He was extremely diligent, but I could not learn faith from him.

I learned faith through my mother. I learned, “Ah, truly God is with us.” I really learned that. “Truly God is with us.” The entire neighborhood persecuted us for believing in Jesus. In those days it was like that. People had nothing better to do. We were believing in God, so why should our relatives persecute us? If it were now, I would say something, but I was young, so I stayed quiet. The people of the village persecuted us. It was ridiculous. So we children saw all of that. With no husband, raising four children—what do you think that was like? Yet God never once allowed us to become seriously ill. That was a miracle. It was my mother’s prayer. We never once experienced hardship because of money. That too was my mother’s prayer. At that time, I did not know anything about prayer.

3. The reason God leads through the wilderness – to show that He is with you
You must show the evidence that God is with you. Right? That is why He leads you through the wilderness, through what looks like hardship.

(1) Moses
So this was Moses’ confession as well.

(2) Joshua and Caleb – “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you” (Joshua 1:5).
Even more importantly, this was also Joshua’s confession as he was to go forward. The next generation saw this. God said to Joshua, “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.” In other words, “You saw how I was with Moses while you served him as his assistant, did you not? In that same way I will be with you.” God gave that promise. Amazing things took place. This was true for Caleb as well.

(3) The covenant you possess will be passed on to your posterity and to others
The covenant you possess will be passed on to your posterity and to others. The fruit will be even greater then. You received and passed it on without fully realizing, but when your posterity rises holding that covenant, the works become great. In some ways, the first generation suffered, but the second and third generations see the works. Do not miss this.

When God called you, He had already prepared everything. That is the first point. The second is that although it looks like you are walking through wilderness and hardship, you are actually discovering what God has already prepared.

3. He gives what you must carry into eternity – The reason for forty years in the wilderness
Third and last: Why did they have to pass through the wilderness? Why did they take forty years for a journey that could have been made in a week? This is even more important. Whenever you face hardship, always think of these three things. First, “God has given me a promise.” Second, “In this field, God is proving that He is the Lord.” Then what is the third thing you must hold firmly today? “Why does He give hardship? Why does He make us go through the wilderness? Why forty years for a path that is less than a week?”

1) The test God gives – Exodus from darkness
Verse 4 today explains this: God says He is testing us.

There are two kinds of “tests.” There is the test Satan gives, and the test God gives. The “test” Satan gives is not called “test (test)” in English. Satan gives trials to make us fall. He is trying to make us fall. In school, when teachers give a test, it is not to make students fall; it is to increase their ability. That is why we call that a “test.” If the teacher never gave a test, could the students’ ability grow? So the word “test” is used in that sense.

What kind of test is this? It is good and important to come out of Egypt, but more important than Exodus from Egypt is Exodus from darkness. He will make them realize this “Exodus from darkness.” He will convey the blessing of being completely set free from darkness by God’s power.

2. The three feasts – Passover (the day you are set free by the blood of the Lamb), Pentecost (God with us by His power), Feast of Ingathering (guidance with the background of the throne)
Naturally they must pass through the wilderness. God will make them know the three feasts: On the day they applied the blood of the Lamb, they were set free. God will be with them with the power of Pentecost. He will guide them with the background of the throne in the Feast of Ingathering. This is certain. He will make them know this. It looked like hardship, but it was not. For those who perish, it is indeed hardship. But for those who hold the covenant, it is not hardship. Time is needed.

3. The ark of the covenant – The stone tablets (God’s unchanging eternal Word), the jar of manna, Aaron’s budding staff (God’s Word of life)
Even more, He had them make the ark of the covenant. Inside the ark were three items. Right? There were the stone tablets engraved with God’s eternal, unchanging Word. Today He gave manna and quail. There was also the jar of manna. Aaron led worship, but Aaron himself was not the important one. Worship is what is important. The Levites led worship, but the tribe of Levi was not what mattered. Right? God’s Word is what matters. So when Aaron’s staff was planted in the ground, it produced buds. “Look, this is what happens with God’s Word of life.” That staff was placed inside the ark. God was making them see all of this.

4. Tabernacle-centered life – teaching worship and prayer as the secret to victory in forty years of wilderness
That was not the end. He made them know what was inside the tabernacle. For forty years He taught them the secret to victory through tabernacle-centered life: worship and prayer. Right?

5. Deuteronomy – Pass this to the next generation so that it becomes their imprint, root, and nature (Deuteronomy 6:4–9).
That was not all. He completely imprinted it on them. That is Deuteronomy. The name “Deuteronomy” means to imprint. Just as when you engrave (申) and (命), it is set there permanently.

God had them enjoy three amazing things during the forty years in the wilderness. Since He had already given them the covenant to take complete responsibility when He called them, they only needed to find it. “In every place, they will know that the Lord is God.” So He prepared manna, quail, and many other things. Those things themselves were not the main point. The truly important things were separate. Right? “You have been set free from darkness.” What are the three feasts? What really is the ark of the covenant? Why is everything tabernacle-centered? He was teaching them this. Of course they had to learn it. “Pass this on to your posterity.” So at the end, in Deuteronomy, He said, “Love the Lord your God with all your strength. Love the Lord your God with all your heart. Have you not seen everything until now? Pass what you have seen to your children. Tie it on your hands.” You always see your hands. “Write it on the doorframes, so they will see. Put it where they can see it even when they lie down. Let them see it as they walk along the road.” In other words, let it become their imprint, root, and nature.

You must hold onto this blessing. Whenever you face hardship, hold onto the promise. Hold onto what God has prepared. Even more importantly, He is already giving you what you must carry into eternity.

▣ Conclusion – The answers we are to receive
What are the answers you are to receive today?

1. Restore the three feasts
Restore the three feasts. They already had them.

2. The miracles in the wilderness – restore evangelism
Why did He perform miracles in the wilderness? To restore evangelism.

3. Tabernacle-centered life – restore the three courtyards, the three-day weekend age, and the holy meditation age
Why tabernacle-centered life? Prayer is important, but it is to restore the three courtyards.

The Bible emphasizes worship so many times. It is to restore the three-day weekend age. The main purpose of the Sabbath points to the three-day weekend age. Why did He tell them so insistently to teach this to their children? To restore the holy meditation age. With this, you go out into the world.

※ Persecutors, attackers, great powers, dictators, and the wicked have never truly won.
Now open your eyes and let us take a look. Up to now, persecutors and attackers have never won—not once. Right? Great powers have never truly won. This is the evidence.

In the past, when you went into the mountains, there were rabbits and tigers. Who is stronger? There is no need to ask. The tigers catch and eat the rabbits. Then by now, the mountains should be full of tigers. Right? But there are no tigers, and there are many rabbits. Even in nature it is like this. Not once has a war hero truly been blessed. Not once has a nation that attacked others truly won. Never. When enough time passes, they have lost. Right? If we cannot realize this, it becomes very serious. God’s covenant does not change. If the attacking nations do not realize this, the nations they attacked later grow even greater.

When Martin Luther proclaimed the gospel, the powerful medieval church—the old church, the Roman Catholic Church—attacked him. But as time passed, what did God do? He made Catholicism into a heresy in people’s eyes and made the Protestant church larger. We must not misunderstand—at that time God used America to raise Protestantism. To grow the Protestant church. Now Catholicism has lost to Protestantism, because the Protestant church is larger. Things passed on like this, but not once has the wicked side truly won.

Nearly all dictators who killed many people ended up committing suicide. Right? Nietzsche even said, “God is dead.” He was a pastor’s son. He even studied theology. And yet Nietzsche said, “God is dead.” He himself went insane and died in a mental hospital, screaming. In broad daylight he would scream that it was dark.

Once I went to Dong-A University, and the Christian student groups had probably written this. There was a piece of paper posted that said, “God is dead. – Nietzsche.” And underneath it, someone else had written, “Nietzsche is dead. – God.” Which one is more correct?

Unbelief can never overcome the covenant. Today, throughout the day, recover these three while you pray.

Let us pray.

Prayer. May today truly be the most gracious day. May it become a new day of grace, a day of gaining strength, and a day filled with God. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Restore Everything Within Prayer

Prayer Journal: December 10, 2025
08. Mar. 2025 Core Training Service
Scripture Reading: Matthew 6:33, Acts 1:8

Our remnants only need to have even a little summit time. Especially today, we are worshipping together with the joint Middle Age Academy. Because of our Middle Age Academy, many pastors are gaining strength and evangelizing. All the offerings given as registration for the Middle Age Academy are entirely used to support our future churches so that they can evangelize. So I think it would be good if we participate even more and give more help. Therefore, when the church leaders and the Middle Age Academy come to life, your home, your church, and your posterity will live.

Now then, how can we receive such an answer?

“Restore everything inside prayer”
The Middle Age Academy must remember this. People are losing hold of this, but we must restore everything inside prayer. Jesus also said, “This kind does not go out except by prayer.” In the end, Jesus also said, “You must receive only the filling of the Holy Spirit in order to receive power.”

▣ Introduction

  1. Suffering
If so, right now many unbelievers and new believers are all inside this kind of suffering.
  2. Nephilim industries (temporary)
Because this suffering is not resolved, they keep struggling, and that is why Nephilim industries are arising all over the world. What are Nephilim industries? By being possessed (by spirits), almost everything is being accomplished. Then we must quickly catch on. What must remnants catch on to? In this age, music is made while being demon-possessed. The music that truly moves the world is all like that.

Long ago, before Michael Jackson died, I once saw in the newspaper that he did something like a shamanistic rite twice a week. Of course, I do not know exactly how accurate that information was, but I saw it in the newspaper. I think it is quite likely. Because things are now completely seized by this (Nephilim industries), frightening things are taking place.

What you must note here is that, first of all, a temporary power appears. There are people who are deceived by this and keep performing shamanistic rituals and fortune-telling and so on. Then, as time goes by, continuous problems come.

  1. Christ – salvation – answers
If so, for you church leaders, a simple answer comes out. Christ has given us a promise. With this, you must win.

First, there are some things you must firmly set. You cannot do it with something someone else gave you. You must do it with what Christ has given.

[ The throne – bartizan, journey, guidepost ]
No one knows this; it is done only by prayer. No one knows—but, just as we sang in the praise today, the bartizan of the throne is established. You must be able to enjoy this with prayer so that the world becomes visible and you can understand what 237 means.

[ 7·7·7 ]
With this as your focus—this can be different for each person. For me, it came out like this (7·7·7). With this, I keep praying. Then for you church leaders, there is simply no other opportunity. You must absolutely discover this blessing every day.

[ Work ]
[ 300% ]
So inside this prayer, your work must surely come out like this (300%). This itself (the throne – bartizan, journey, guidepost) is 300%. So when you church leaders gain strength, the church will come to life in exact proportion to the strength you gain. Therefore, throw everything else away; you church leaders must receive this answer. You can throw everything else away. Why? Because all the answers will come.

[ Only ]
Jesus said, “Only.” When you are praying like this, the answer comes in this way: as “only.” There is no better answer than this. Jesus promised. When they held to “only Jesus,” all were saved. When they held to “only the gospel,” everything came. When they held to “only prayer,” they enjoyed everything. This word “only” is important. Without doing many unnecessary things, do “only.” This is what Jesus said.

So one thing that is sometimes perplexing is that there are many people who do not do “only,” isn’t that so? They do so many other things that they suffer unnecessarily. Everything is already contained inside this (the throne – bartizan, journey, guidepost; 7·7·7). There is nothing more to receive.

So all church leaders must restore “only.” Then in your work, a 300% work of God will arise.

[ Uniqueness ]
It is the same word, but other people recognize it. They recognize that a uniqueness has come upon you. Even if two people run the same restaurant, uniqueness has come upon you.

[ Re-creation ]
From this time on, you begin to do things that no one else knows. It is up to this point.

This is the salvation and answer Christ has given. You church leaders must absolutely restore this.

▣ Main
Then, how should we do this?

  1. Morning (Psalm 5:3) – bartizan
It is the morning. You must have a bartizan that you set up in the morning. In the morning, you set up this bartizan.

[ The strength that restores ] → 24, 25, eternity (enjoyment)
In the morning, you must gain the strength to restore everything. You must never lose hold of this. As much as possible, you must wake up early in the morning with some leisure. With only this one thing, you enter into deep prayer. In the morning. To what extent? To the extent that your heart and thoughts are completely seized and you gain strength. Then, certainly, a work will arise inside your soul.

This ultimately changes into this. You enjoy this blessing in the morning. 24, 25, eternity. These numbers may look like nothing, but while you are praying, the kingdom of God is being fulfilled. In proportion to that, masterpieces arise.

World evangelization will continue to take place for us. I am not doing anything. I am praying this (the introduction). Many people are struggling and trying hard—of course we are thankful, but that is not much. It is bound not to work. That is why such outstanding people are not doing world evangelization. People much smarter than you boast that they are great, but they are not doing world evangelization.

You church leaders must absolutely not be deceived. Just do not be deceived. You are almost always deceived. Then when you go to church, you lose hold of this blessing again. When you meet people, you lose it again.

America, which moves the world, is not doing world evangelization. Why? Because they are unable to do this (the strength that restores – 24, 25, eternity). They cannot do it. And Europe, which had such tradition, culture, religion, and all that theology, has closed its doors. They cannot do it. Japan cannot block disasters. Because they do not know. They do not know this blessing (Christ – salvation, answers). So we must quickly tell them.

The best method is for you to receive answers. That is why, when you appear in the three-day weekend age, even if you do not think, “What should I do?”—you are already a witness.

All you church leaders must restore the morning. Among you there will be some who are new believers. Surely you have problems. Do not worry; just make it like this (24, 25, eternity).

  1. Daytime (Psalm 23:1) – journey
And then you finally restore the daytime. This is the journey. Because you go with the journey of the throne, a work is bound to arise.

In Psalm 23 verse 1, the writer quotes what David said. David, the greatest of kings among kings, said this, and he was the one who prayed the most. In the morning. Then what about the daytime? Because the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

[ The strength that saves the field ] → 24, 25, eternity (confirmation)
From now on, in the daytime, you pray the prayer that saves every field. This (main point 1) is the strength that restores me, but in the daytime you pray the prayer that is the strength to save the field. At this very time. So in the daytime you change everything into prayer.

So you confirm this (24, 25, eternity). This is the daytime.

Therefore, do not lose hold of this. Earlier, I said this to our church leaders: when you wake up in the morning, almost everyone sleeps with their mouth slightly open. As soon as you get up, you must first brush your teeth with salt. Your mouth is full of germs. The people lying in hospitals are suffering because of that. It is full of germs. And your lungs are almost in a “down” state. It is the same with your brain. Because science has now advanced so much, they have discovered this.

So you must get up early and, unconditionally, very comfortably… Then you will breathe about six times per minute. Comfortably. That is originally the standard of health. But you typically do not breathe six times; you breathe 20 or 30 times per minute. A dog breathes about 60 times. Because it breathes 60 times, it breathes once per second. A dog running outside breathes 120 times. “Heh, heh”—like that. Such a dog cannot live longer than 10 years.

When Kim Jong-un first came out and spoke, I immediately said, “He will not live long.” He will not live long.

Because you church leaders are important, you must absolutely get up in the morning and pray the prayer that restores everything. You do not need anything else. Just get up early in the morning and start the restoring prayer with this 7·7·7. Then you change every matter and every thought that comes to mind into prayer. After doing this, you then change everything you see with your eyes and everything you hear into prayer. This is confirming this (24, 25, eternity). In the daytime you confirm God’s answers.

In the morning, you enjoy for yourself (enjoyment). No one can take it away from you. With this, you church leaders must restore all your health.

  1. Night – guidepost
Finally, at night you obtain answers. This is when an incredibly important guidepost is established. You church leaders must not let even one person miss this. With this, what do you do?

[ Answer, the strength that heals ] → 24, 25, eternity (answer)
You obtain answers and the strength that heals. The key is mainly to obtain answers.

You must never lose this. There is nothing more joyful than completely discovering the answer to your problems through the Word of God.

When pastors prepare sermons, they must read many commentaries, but I personally do not read commentaries much. I also do not have time. If I continue to pray, the answer comes. This is real. I once read that “Paul went up to the third heaven,” and when I looked this up in commentaries, there was nothing. What does it mean? But as I kept praying, the answer came. Where is the answer? It is in the Bible. It is right there. “Whether in the body or out of the body I do not know.” That is the answer. He said that as he was praying regarding his disease, his illness, he entered so deeply into prayer that he did not know whether he was in the body or out of the body. That is what it is. At that time, an amazing healing takes place. You church leaders must restore this. You must even now be doing this.

So in conclusion: always be conscious of prayer and the breathing that keeps your health. And though you have many things to worry about, do not worry; instead, pray.

Now then, today you must take one important thing with you.

[ RT (talent) ]
Right now, our remnants must begin praying, “What is the talent God has given me?” You start praying with this. Until when? Until these (main point 1–3) come out, you continue.

[ RU – region ]
Some elders have applied. They said, “Please delay a bit more the time to recruit students for RU in Korea,” because they need to think deeply and prepare a lot. That is how it is.

While truly praying, you must come, having decided, “Which region will I determine to save in order to save the church?” To save one region is a matter of conscience. You must come having decided, “Which region will I save?” RU does not have a set graduation date. When this (the region) is established, you graduate. Now we must really do it. If you want to graduate quickly, just establish it quickly. If you want to drop out in the middle, make 300% beforehand like Bill Gates. Then we will let you drop out.

[ Future – fishing field ]
Especially the future church. For this, you must see a fishing field on a completely different level than the one around your present church. You must start that way. There is a fishing field. Do not worry; once you establish this fishing field, you then make 300%.

[ 300% ]
Once you decide on this, what is 300%? Do this. A full 100% of being led by the Holy Spirit. When that is seen, you move. If it is not seen, you do not need to move. Then what is the next 100%? A full 100% of the work of the Holy Spirit. What is that? Healing the Nephilim. It comes out. And then what? You see the future. 100%. You see all the way to Rome. It is exactly what Paul did.

He even received the guidance of the Holy Spirit while fasting. 100%. He healed patients that doctors could not heal. 100%—the work of the Holy Spirit. His eyes were opened. “You must also testify in Rome.” That is right. That is 300%. You cannot help but live. Answers cannot help but come.

If the future church establishes places like this in several locations, your church will be completely revived. Of course, revival is also an important purpose, but more than that, you must surely break the forces of darkness.

So even in RU, when we receive students, as much as possible, there is a fishing field next to the future church. You must analyze that and, simply put, see how the Holy Spirit is leading. Then you must ask: what kind of work has taken place? It is too unfair not to experience this. How do we bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit?

I can give pastors a promise. If this is accurate, then even before you start, a work will arise. Because God sees this as so important, a work arises in a rush. In my case, works arose in a rush. In some ways, if pastors truly know this, the pastors themselves do not even need to go. They can simply appoint people and send them.

Talent 300%

Prayer Journal: December 9, 2025
08. Mar. 2025 Remnant & TCK Study of Evangelism
Scripture Reading: Acts 1:8

You, of course, and the remnants must surely remember this. Even if you succeed, you cannot accomplish world evangelization. Even if you study well and go to Seoul National University—then you are successful, right? If you pass the bar exam—then you become a judge or a prosecutor. But even then, your salary will not reach even ten million won. With that, you cannot do world evangelization. It will be difficult just to raise your children and live. Even if you succeed, that’s how it is. So you try to do business, but business is not easy either. Therefore remnants must do this.

Talent 300%
It is the same for you. How can we do this?

▣ Introduction

  1. Small things – rightful, necessary, absolute
You must start from the small things. What does “small things” mean? Anywhere, you only need to think a little. You do not need to do it—just think. “What is something I must surely do?” Then, “What is needed in my home or in the field?” Even if it does not come right away, it is okay. Already your spirit becomes different. “What is something I must surely do for the future?” This is called “rightful, necessary, absolute.” You must think of this always. Pastors must be careful. You must surely do this. If you just hold onto the covenant and try hard unconditionally, that is not it. Rightful, necessary, absolute—only this remains. This is the path of 300%.
  2. Now – throne, kingdom, work
What is happening now? Surely the kingdom of God. Before that, the blessing of the throne. Jesus Himself explained it. The kingdom of God. Jesus promised beforehand that He would be with us from the throne, and the answer is the kingdom of God. The work of the kingdom of God. It is happening now. This is the beginning of 300%.
  3. Lifetime – CVDIP
From this moment, the things for your lifetime begin to come out. The things for your lifetime come out at this time. Then all seven remnants came to see things beforehand. CVDIP appears like this. You pray a little, and the covenant is seen. In the midst of disasters, the vision is seen. A dream that can be done 24 hours is seen. God’s image and power of 25 is seen. The masterpiece called eternity is formed. You understand, right?

▣ Main_ Work – pastor, church, missions
From now on, this (work) becomes important for you. It includes academics, occupation, and work. At this time, you must determine: I will save the pastor. Remnants went ahead beforehand, and all who succeeded did this. I will save the church. Because we must save the world, I will save missions. You must hold to this covenant firmly. With this covenant, you must do three things.

  1. Information – edit
Continuously gather information. This is called editing.

[ The Word ]
If you do this, later the Word of God will surely be fulfilled. This is the answer. For example, I read all the books about evangelism. Truly. But they were not the answer. I was shocked. Of course, I gained a lot of help. But in the end, the answer is all here (the Word). For me, the Book of Acts is completely the way. Even now, the answers come exactly the same. It is amazing. I used to not understand the Book of Acts at all. It contains exactly the bartizan, journey, and guidepost. Remnants must not lose this.

  1. Design
    [ Prayer topics ]
And as you continually design, the prayer topics God gives are formed. This is important. These are not prayer topics I make. The prayer topics God gives come out.
  2. Design
    [ Field ]
As you continually design your information, the field becomes visible. You must not lose this.
  3. Information – edit
    [ The Word ]
It is written as a reference. Width, height, depth. Up, down, sides, past, present, future. This is information, and from here the Word is fulfilled.

〔 9 〕
Nine things appear. Present, past, future, width, height, depth—these come out. Simply put, a skillful driver sees the front, back, and sides when they sit down. But if you remove the rear-view mirror and the side mirrors, you will be in trouble. Even if a large truck rushes in, you won’t know. Because you cannot see. In this way, God leads our path with the Word, and the fulfillment begins. Only by praying for this (work – pastor, church, missions).

  1. Blueprint
    [ Prayer topics ]
While you are only praying, what is the most important among the prayer topics?

〔 Will 〕
God’s will is clearly seen. Your reality is correct, but it is not correct. Reality is correct, but it is not. You must not be deceived by always seeing only that.

That TV program “PD Notebook” exposes many fakes, and once they did an episode about American beef, saying it causes mad cow disease… Then, even though nobody told them to, 100,000 people came out holding candles to protest. That is reality. But behind that reality, the facts always exist. The facts were not that. “Why import American beef?” That was the question. “Why does the president favor the United States?” The president said, “No, we are doing FTA—give and take…” “Still, do not eat American beef.” That is it. But deeper inside, the truth is not even that. It is an ideological conflict. “We are on China’s side, not on America’s.” That was the conflict. The people did not know. Thus behind reality, facts and truth are hidden. More important is the spiritual fact. What is the spiritual fact? That group and this group—both are the same kind fighting each other. Right? We must seek God’s will inside that. We are remnants. Anywhere, this (will) exists. Do not think “Our family is like this.” That is only reality. Your parents lived through even more difficulties. The fact that they raised you is already great. Right? You must go deeper than reality into fact, truth, and spiritual fact. Then it is seen.

  1. Design
    [ Field ]
Then in the field, although there are many important parts:

〔 Culture 〕
You see this. In any country you must see this to do missions. Even if you go to the most underdeveloped country, there is culture. And even if you go to the advanced country America, there is culture. You must quickly catch this. Japan and Korea have very different cultures. Koreans greatly like friends and such a culture. Right? Japan is not like that. There are many who are alone. They eat alone, they stay alone in their rooms and do not come out. There are many like this. Completely different culture from us. You must understand this to be able to evangelize.

▣ Conclusion
Then remnants, while always enjoying this (entire message) blessing, ultimately where do you go?

  1. 237
The answers remnants receive must match this (237).
  2. 5000
Your actual work must match this (5000).
  3. RT, TCK
And the most important path by which you truly arise must match RT and TCK. This is called world evangelization.

When you are praying, it will be fulfilled. What is happening now? What will happen tomorrow? People do not know. When you hold to the covenant now, the kingdom of God is fulfilled. These three (throne, kingdom, work) take place. It is invisible. But one day, something happens that changes your destiny. This is prayer. It seems invisible, but it is reality and evidence. The one who knows this prepares greatly even when going to worship tomorrow. And pastors who know this prepare the sermon much more through prayer—not by preparing with books, but with prayer. Because these (throne, kingdom, work) things take place. May the work that breaks all darkness rise, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer. God, we thank You. We thank You for working with the power of the throne now. May God’s kingdom be fulfilled around the believers who hold to the covenant. May the work of God’s kingdom be accomplished. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

The First Test

Prayer Journal: December 8, 2025
02. Mar. 2025 Immanuel Church Sunday Worship 2nd Service
Scripture Reading: Exodus 15:22-27

Thank you. I once heard the testimony of an elder when I was serving as an associate pastor, and he was an elder back then. He said that while they were eating a meal as a family, someone suddenly pulled out a gun, shot it at the ceiling, and shouted, “God is dead.” His mother had such strong faith—her name was even Kang Ban-seok—that she was completely shocked. She looked at that man and said, “You, I will make you a cabinet minister, so wait.” That person is Kim Il-sung of North Korea. His original name was Kim Seong-ju. The elder was so shocked that he ran away from that place on the spot. The situation was so urgent that he could not bring a single coin; he fled only with the Bible and hymnbook he had been carrying at church and the account books he used as treasurer. From that moment on, he could never go back. So he began a business in South Korea and greatly succeeded in his work. But when Sunday came, all the business partners would do their transactions, meet company to company, eat together on Sunday, have fun, drink alcohol, and do everything among themselves. But this elder could not join them because he had to worship on Sunday. As he was praying, God gave him one clear answer. He said that his heart hurt so much because he kept worrying about what had become of the sons and daughters he had left behind in North Korea. So he started looking into the children of the employees and partners who were going around drinking. When he checked, he found that all their home lives were in complete disarray. So the elder decided to give scholarships to all those students. After some time passed, the employees came to realize this. They were moved by the elder. Because he was taking care of their children and helping them study, they were deeply touched. As he shared that story, he told the whole story of how he had lived.

What is the very first thing we must do when we go into society? Today God has shown this. During three days of traveling through the wilderness, they could not drink water. If you cannot drink water for three days, of course it is difficult. They were almost at the point of death. Then they arrived in a certain region and found water, but it was water they could not drink. So they named that place “Marah,” but it was water they could not drink. The people began to complain again. The Israelites were very good at complaining. As they complained again, Moses prayed, broke off a certain branch, and put it into the water as God commanded, and the water was restored. Then God spoke these words: “I am the LORD who heals you.”

– First test – “I am the LORD who heals you”
At the very first test He said, “I am the LORD who heals you.”

Now, this elder, even as he healed unbelievers, works arose. So in a certain sense, you do not even have to evangelize at your workplace. Even if you do not try to, if you are praying, they will come.

Their scars
Without you even realizing it, they will come and begin to lay out their scars before you. You must reach this level. They will knowingly come and speak. That is when healing begins.

Hidden spiritual sicknesses
Or, conversely, almost everyone has hidden spiritual sicknesses. You are healing this. It is very important. Most people will not say, as soon as they meet someone, “I have this kind of scar.” They do not say, “You know, I…” and immediately spill out their hidden scars as soon as they meet a person. So even inside the company, there are deacons who live their life of faith roughly, half-heartedly. But there is this one deacon who considers the life of faith as the first priority. Then, who will those people with these problems (scars, hidden spiritual sicknesses) seek out? They will not seek out someone who is skillful in society but half-hearted at church. Why? Because that person seems fake. They cannot lay out these things (scars, hidden spiritual sicknesses) before such a person. Evangelism is not difficult. Once this door opens, it keeps opening.

Right now, all the military missionaries are listening to the message. Those who have these scars or spiritual sicknesses are the ones going into the military. That is why the military field is so good. When they first come in, they are low-ranking soldiers, so it is easy to help them. You can see it the moment you look at them. No one else can help them, and so they commit suicide in the military. It is heartbreaking. And yet there are military chaplains and others inside the army.

I told you this before too, did I not? There was a deacon who evangelized a lot who applied to a large ironworks company, and he said this happened there. During the interview they asked, “Do you have something to say?” He replied, “I am a Christian. So if you will only let me rest on Sunday…” In the past, Sunday was not a universal day off. “If you let me rest on Sunday, I will work hard every other day.” The executives around him became angry. “Do you think this is a church? All right, get out.” So he failed. Right? That deacon was that kind of person. They did not even need to ask that, but he said it. At that time, the highest-ranking president said something. “Hey, but that person seems like a real believer in Jesus.” He expressed it that way. Everyone with these problems (scars, hidden spiritual sicknesses) knows. He later got a job there and did much evangelism. Everyone knew. They all have hidden scars. And worse, they also have diseases. For us to not be able to help this is nonsense. Right? This is the start of evangelism. Look carefully.

[ RT 7 ]
All of the 7 Remnants were like this. Joseph healed Egypt. Moses healed the Israelites. Samuel and David healed the nation wounded by Philistia. And the Remnants who were taken as captives healed those nations. You must absolutely keep this in mind. “I am the LORD who heals you.” You must absolutely keep this in mind. No one brings out their scars to just anyone. Why would they? They hide everything. When do they bring them out? When do I lay my scars before another person? “Ah, if I tell this person my story, they will be able to listen.” They bring it out to that person. That is why today’s text becomes a very important text. “I am the LORD who heals you.” And then He said this.

▣ Introduction_ 〔26〕 Egypt
In verse 26 He says, “I will heal you of all the diseases that were in Egypt.”

1. Slaves (spiritual state)
First of all, the very fact of having lived as slaves is itself a sickness. Their tremendous spiritual state is diseased.

2. Slave diseases
And because they had lived as slaves, they had real physical diseases that came from their life as slaves.

3. Slave mentality
More important than this is that they had a deeply rooted slave mentality, slave way of thinking. Whenever they were bored, they would drag it out again, saying, “Why did you bring us out of Egypt to here?” They kept speaking like this.

▣ Main_ 〔25〕 Test – 〔40 years〕
The covenant you must hold today is in verse 25 in the main part. Verse 25 says this: “God tested Israel.” It says that God tested Israel. You must always believe this while you are walking the wilderness path. What did He test?

1. Exodus [Passover]
“Did not God bring Israel out of Egypt?” This is what He is saying. When they came out, God performed ten great miracles, and as the Israelites were going forth He said, “Celebrate this Passover as a memorial.” Did He not do that? He is now testing this. God is.

1) Exodus 3:1-18
We easily lose hold of this. When the Israelites became slaves, God called Moses and said, “Go to offer the sacrifice of blood. I will be with you. I will be with you with a mighty hand.”

2) Ten miracles
He performed ten miracles.

3) Passover
And on the day they put the blood, they were set free and came out. “Did you forget this? Do not forget it as you go along the wilderness path.” He is testing this. And that is not all.

2. Red Sea experience
They experienced the Red Sea. God’s goal was nothing else. They had to travel the forty-year wilderness path. When He looked at them, Israel was not yet ready. God said He would test them.

1) Sea
God led Israel into the middle of the sea, in front of the sea. We heard this last week, did we not?

2) Egypt
And He brought the Egyptian army in after them. The Bible clearly records this. He brought them into the middle of the sea and caused the Egyptian soldiers to go in. He used their already hardened hearts. He is explaining how we are to interpret the suffering and tests we face. Even the power of Egypt’s idols is no problem. The Red Sea is no problem. God had brought the Israelites out, and in the course of forty years in the wilderness they had a tremendous path to walk. In your remaining life, there is something you must absolutely leave behind. The secret of those forty years is where that is contained.

3) Army
What happened at the Red Sea? God destroyed all the Egyptian army. And He brought Israel out. They had only just come out when they complained again. They had reason to complain. Why? Because there was no water. Whenever they were bored, they complained, saying, “We are going to die here because we have no water; what should we do?” Similar things will continue to appear in the future. Here there are two secrets. One is that this is the time when God is revealing something important. It is the time when God is discerning who will enter the land of Canaan. Two things. You must never be afraid of the tests you face. God says, “Did I not bring you out of Egypt? Did I not bring you through the Red Sea?”

3. Future [absolute condition]
Then what about the future? There is an absolute condition for God to lead them into the land of Canaan. Right? You must believe this. From now on, you must believe it and teach it to your children.

1) Absolute sovereignty
First, it is God’s absolute sovereignty. You must believe this. What does that mean? He is the God who rules over your life. Why are you Korean? God’s absolute sovereignty. You must not lose this. Why did the multiethnic people come here? God’s absolute sovereignty. Right? You must not lose this. Why am I in this church? God’s absolute sovereignty.

2) Absolute plan
Then why must we walk the wilderness path? God is leading us. God with absolute sovereignty is leading us. He sent us to Egypt for world missions; and now that the time has come, He brings us out and performs world evangelization in the land of Canaan. At that time you will see God’s absolute plan. This is the path you will walk in your remaining years.

3) Absolute covenant
At this time the absolute covenant that will be fulfilled appears. You must always believe. If not, you will be shaken constantly. Because they were shaken so much, they could not enter Canaan, and only those who had this faith entered.

4) Absolute journey
From that point on, the absolute journey appears.

5) Absolute goal
The land of Canaan and world evangelization are God’s plan. Absolute goal. Even if everyone says no, God’s plan for this place is to build the three courtyards and perform world evangelization. Right? Even if everyone in the wilderness complains, going to Canaan is God’s plan. As they walk the wilderness path, God is doing two things: He is teaching them the many things they are to enjoy in the future, and He is discerning them. And we must enter into this covenant. This is the core answer in this week’s message that you must always realize. Wherever you go, God is the God who heals. Even if you only believe this Word, you will be healed. “It will be done according to your faith.” It is answered exactly according to how you believe God’s Word.

▣ Conclusion
And something even more important. Moses put in the branch; whether it was some medicinal herb or simply God’s power, in any case, they lived by drinking that water.

1. Elim
They arrived at Elim.

2. Twelve springs
When they went there, there were twelve springs.

3. Seventy palm trees
And then farther on, there were seventy palm trees. Very good, is it not?
There were twelve springs and seventy palm trees. There they pitched their tents. Many people say that after passing through suffering, such happy days will come. That is not entirely wrong. But I do not see it that way.

1. Elim (great tree)
The word “Elim” means “great tree.”

2. Twelve springs (choice)
The number twelve is the number of choice.

3. Seventy palm trees (conquest)
The seventy palm trees are the number of the seventy elders and of great conquest. It is a number of great joy.
Today there is an important answer that you must realize here and then wait for next week’s message. “God tested you.” Why? Because He truly wants to give you something (the forty years). These (Elim, the twelve springs, the seventy palm trees) are only temporary. So those who study Exodus say that in order to receive answers, what must you do? Those who study Genesis say that the beginning of problems and the answers must all come out; if you do not know that, you cannot receive answers. Then what must you do to study Exodus? It is true that Israel came out of Egypt. But that is not true liberation.

[ Exodus from darkness ]
Look. We must be set free from here (darkness). I told the pastors this. It is no use coming out of Egypt. It is no use coming out of the wilderness. They were taken again by Philistia. Even if they win there, it is no use. They go again to Babylon. It is no use. It follows them. It follows again. What does this mean? At last week’s Tuesday meeting I said this to the pastors: “Pastors, how must we give the Word so that people receive answers?” The issue is not that Israel came out of Egypt. We must perform an exodus from darkness. We must come out of darkness. You must believe this. For you, it is finished. He has set you free from darkness. Colossians chapter 1 verse 13 says, “He will rescue you from the domain of darkness.” It is tremendous. As you read Exodus, prepare many things, but above all you must be liberated from darkness, and there is still much to prepare. If you are facing hardship, it means there is much to be prepared. Right?

Remnants must remember this. “Why is my family like this?” God has given you what is necessary. He has given you what you must experience. “But is it not a bit too difficult?” It is difficult if you fall into it. But if you do not fall into it, it becomes a stepping stone. So when people who lived hard lives in the countryside come into the city, those who fall into it just live like country bumpkins. But those who do not fall into it work well. Those people are the ones who succeed. If your parents are very poor, those who fall into that show strange tendencies. Right? But those who do not fall into it instead gain greater strength to save the world. Holding onto this answer this week, I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ to enjoy for one week the blessing of worshiping next Sunday as witnesses.

Let us pray.

Prayer. We thank God. In the midst of giving us many things, allow us to surely enjoy what You have prepared. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

The Praise of Moses and Miriam

Prayer Journal: December 6, 2025
02. Mar. 2025 Immanuel Church Sunday Worship 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Exodus 15:19-21

▣ Introduction. Thank you.

1. The importance of praise
1) If there is no praise, worship becomes complete darkness
What would happen to our church if there were no worship department, transportation department, and praise department? Many departments are important, but there is nothing as important as the worship department and the praise department, because they allow us to worship with grace. What would happen if we offered today’s worship service with no praise?

So I request this as much as possible from every worship part: let us have praise and then go directly into the sermon. I am not giving a lecture. Because I am proclaiming the Word of God, we must give praise that glorifies God and then immediately deliver the message. Even now, if you look at each part, there are still extra comments thrown in like, “This message is going out to the whole world and so on…” That should be said first, and then after the praise, the sermon should begin.

If your hymn and the praise we just heard were not there, worship would become complete darkness.

2) Ezekiel 28 – The fall of the angel who praised God → shaking the world with music
In Ezekiel chapter 28, the angel who used to praise God fell. So Satan shook the whole world with music. You roughly know this. Right now there is nothing like music when it comes to shaking the world. The reason we go and shake the United States, Japan, and Europe is because of the Korean Wave—songs.

3) Praise moves the throne of the LORD. Healing takes place. Praise is a special prayer that changes my life.
So today we must hold a special covenant and, through hymns, move the throne of the LORD, and also experience healing through praise. Praise is a special prayer that changes my life.
(1) Crosby, who, in extreme circumstances, held onto the gospel and discovered hymns
That is what Crosby did. In an extreme situation where no one could help her, she held onto the gospel and discovered hymns.
(2) If personal worship and public worship are restored → you will receive answers like David, Paul, and Luther, who were people of praise
What would happen if your personal worship is restored and public worship is restored? You will surely receive answers like David. David was a man of praise. You will receive answers like Paul. Contrary to what you might think, Paul was a man of praise. You will receive answers like Martin Luther. Luther was a man of praise. So this week we must hold onto an amazing covenant and think deeply about it.

2. The restoration of hymns is the restoration of worship
We have almost lost our hymns. These days on Sundays, when we worship, the CCTV is watching you. Because of this, your image is exposed worldwide, one by one. If at that moment you are picking your nose or something, it all gets caught. But if you look, there is one common thing: men do not sing praise. Usually, you cannot tell whether they are singing or just waiting. But when you look at those who properly praise, there are some men, but most of them are women. That is why women live longer than men. And children—when you look at them, they clap and praise like this. Also, when you go to special gatherings—these are not regular worship services but conferences—men sing even less than women, and there is a group that sings even less than men. Who would that be? The pastors. They sit like this (arms crossed) during praise. They sit there as if they are angry. So I thought, “Ah, that must be what people mean when they say someone has grown old.”

We must restore hymns. Honestly, I confess this in good conscience: in the past, when I used to drive alone, before I had secretaries, there was a time when I drove myself. In one sense, that can be comfortable, because I was alone. There are so many wonderful songs. There are classical pieces. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the Bolshoi Choir—when I listen, they are incredible. And there are many good pop songs and secular songs. So after finishing a conference, I would need a bit of rest, having finished something big, and then I would drive home. I would drive slowly. If it takes someone else one hour, it would take me two or three hours. Just slowly. That itself was a rest for me.

The problem was what I turned on in the car. What do you think I played? In that precious time, that rest time, I confess honestly that I never played hymns. Hymns did not feel fitting for that atmosphere. I listened to pop songs that fit the mood, or important classical music. Even I, who was traveling around doing world evangelization and evangelism movement, was like that.

Then one day, even after listening to all that good music, something was missing. It should have quenched my thirst like water, but rather it made me more thirsty. So I said to myself, “Ah… I must restore set-time worship.” So, when I finished and was going or coming, or when I woke up in the morning and headed out—how good is that time? I would think about one passage of the Word and offer set-time worship alone, and that was when I began to sing hymns. And I realized, “Wow!” No song could compare with that. Then I understood, “When this worship is restored, that is when hymns are restored.”

3. Praise that leaves an amazing memorial – The praise of Moses and Miriam after crossing the Red Sea
Even if we leave everything else aside, today’s title is “The Praise of Moses and Miriam,” and it is the praise they sang after crossing the Red Sea. This praise leaves an amazing memorial. Why? Because they had crossed the Red Sea.

Long ago, there was a man named Yun Geuk-yeong. He has passed away now. He composed many songs—around 600. He left many songs, but among them is one everyone knows, “Half Moon (반달).” “Across the blue sky, the Milky Way, and the white small boat…” It describes what you see in Japan, and he turned it into a song. Another one is, “Shall we go to the sea to catch fish? Shall we go to the river to catch fish?”—a children’s song. All of that was written by Yun Geuk-yeong.

What happened once he composed these songs? They continued to be passed down. Up until Korea’s liberation, they were passed on, and even after liberation, they continued. Children sing them in elementary school. That is why I compose a remnant song every year. I turn the lyrics into song.

▣ Main. What happens when we praise

So, today we must at least keep this in our hearts once and restore it.

1. When you praise, the blessing of the throne comes upon you and glory returns to God.
That is the first point. What happens when we restore praise? The blessing of the throne comes upon us and glory returns to God.
1) Psalms 22:3 – The LORD who is enthroned on the praises of Israel
In Psalms 22:3 it says, “Yet You are holy, You who are enthroned on the praises of Israel.”
2) Psalms 150:1–6 – Let everything that has breath praise the LORD
In Psalms 150 verses 1–6 it says, “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.”
3) Ezekiel 28 – Restore the praise that was stolen when the angel in charge of music fell
In Ezekiel chapter 28, when the angel in charge of music fell, praise was stolen away. We must restore that praise.
4) Praise that moved the power of the throne
(1) David’s praise – Psalms
Psalms has around 150 psalms, right? About one-third are by David. All of those are David’s praises. It is tremendous. They moved the world. They moved the power of the throne.
(2) Paul’s praise – In prison
Paul was in prison, a very painful place. What did he do there? He offered worship and praise. A miracle took place.
Therefore, we must really praise. Of course the choir must do well, but you must also praise well. It is a tremendous time, so we must pray for the choir. Their praise, in God’s eyes, is no ordinary praise. Right?
(3) The praise of Moses and Miriam (Exodus chapter 15)
“In the LORD is my strength and my defense and my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him”—that is in verse 2. We did not read it all today, but it says, “I will exalt and praise my father’s God.” These are Moses’ words in verse 2. “He hurled the chariots and army and commanders into the Red Sea”—that is in verses 4–6. We did not read all of it today, but it says, “At the blast of the LORD’s nostrils the waters piled up.” It says, “At the breath of the LORD’s nostrils, the surging waters stood up like a wall.” Verse 8 records this. “Who among the gods is like You, LORD? Who can perform such mighty wonders?”—that is the idea in verse 12. Then they say something important: “The nations will fear the LORD.” That is in verses 14–15. The passage we read today is Miriam’s praise—his older sister.

When you praise, the throne moves through the most amazing kind of prayer, and the work of establishing the kingdom of God takes place.

2. When you praise, darkness is broken, healing takes place, and God’s power is transmitted.
Second, what happens when we praise?
1) When you praise, darkness is broken.
When we praise, not only does glory return to God, but darkness is broken. You must absolutely remember this.

You have heard the phrase “four-sided siege” (사면초가), right? It refers to when all four sides are blocked. “There is nowhere to go, nowhere to turn.” When completely surrounded, people say “사면초가.” Why did that phrase arise? It came from a war between the Han kingdom and the Chu kingdom in ancient China. Han won. That is why we call Chinese characters “Hanja” (漢字)—“the writing of Han.” If Chu had won, we might call them “Choja” (楚字). Han won, and then Han completely surrounded Chu. All that was left was death. “End them now.”

But how did Han make Chu surrender? They completely surrounded them and blocked all four sides, leaving them no place to go. At that time, the Han soldiers began to sing the songs of Chu. Those songs were called “Choga” (楚歌). So, from all four sides came the songs of Chu—hence “사면초가,” “four sides filled with the songs of Chu.” The Han soldiers were clever. They wanted to reduce the killing and make them surrender. As they kept hearing their own songs from the enemy, the Chu soldiers’ hearts melted, and they surrendered. That is where the phrase “사면초가” came from.

When we praise, the forces of darkness melt away. How important is this? That is praise. Restore praise. From today, praise properly. We must restore praise.

Also, there is the kingdom of this world, the kingdom of Satan, and the kingdom of God.

2) When you praise, because the background of the throne and the work of the kingdom of God are established, healing power comes upon you.
Furthermore, what happens to us? When we praise, healing power appears. This healing power comes to us as the background of the throne and as the work of the kingdom of God, so tremendous works of healing arise.

3) God’s power is transmitted to others and to the next generation.
And not only that. Through praise, God’s power is transmitted to other people and to the next generation. The best way to transmit something is through song. Right? The best way is praise. That is why, when Korea resisted Japan long ago, they composed songs and sang them continuously.

So praise is what moves the throne of God—that is the first point. Second, praise is what breaks darkness, heals us, and revives the next generation.

3. God used the people and the churches that restored praise.
Third and last: God used the people who restored praise. God used the churches that restored praise. Look carefully in the Bible.

1) The people of praise God used – David, Paul, Martin Luther
Among all the many kings, God used David. David’s desire was to build the temple and have a vast choir of tens of thousands praising the LORD. That was his prayer. It was that way in every age.

Paul was truly a man of praise. He often used the word “praise.” “Praise be to the God and Father…” David also said, “Let us praise the LORD.”

You know what happened with Martin Luther, the man who led the Reformation. Because the Roman Catholic Church emphasized works so heavily, even now they emphasize works. As they kept emphasizing works, what happened? The gospel disappeared. That is how people are. If you keep emphasizing works, the gospel becomes unnecessary. Then wars and disasters arise all over the world. At that time, Martin Luther declared, “We are saved by the gospel. We are saved by believing in Jesus Christ. This salvation, this gospel, is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes. The righteous shall live by faith.”

When he said this, the religious institution—today’s Roman Catholic Church—used its legal power. They sentenced Luther to death. But people still do not know who it was that kidnapped Luther while he was in transit and took him to a safe place. Someone captured him in the middle of his transfer and brought him to a castle. I went there with Elder Han Dong-hoon and Deaconess Lee Eun-suk as guides. Elder Han showed me, “This is where Luther stood and was tried.” It was quite moving. “Ah, so it was here.” But since he was kidnapped while being moved, no one knew where he had gone. They had put him in a castle. We also went to that castle.

What did he do there? A remarkable work took place. He translated the Word of God so that people could read it. During the day he disguised himself as a hunter, and at night he translated the Bible. Do you think Satan stayed still? He kept attacking. Luther was under such spiritual attack that he once threw his inkwell at the devil. Of course, the devil did not get hit—the ink splattered on the wall. That was the level of spiritual battle.

Even then, it was not enough. So Luther prayed and wrote the hymn, “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God, a bulwark never failing.” It means his musical level was not ordinary. With that praise and prayer, he overcame Satan. He completed the translation of the Bible there, and the world was turned upside down. The light of the gospel shone to the entire world.

I asked the elder, “We learned in school that he threw an inkwell at the wall, but I don’t see the stain.” He replied, “A thief stole that piece of the wall.” “Ah, I see.” He said even the table had been stolen, and they replaced it with another.

2) The music war – Will we collapse the world with music or save the world with music?
Now it is a music war. Will we bring down the world with music, or will we save the world with music?
(1) Pray that praise may be done properly, and give offerings dedicated only to the choir.
This is what I hope. Among our remnants, if any of you decide to earn money, then pray and give offerings dedicated only to the choir. Since we budget for the entire year as a whole, we cannot set the whole budget only for the choir. Our choir members labor so much, but we cannot adequately compensate them. Right? Our conductors also serve so sacrificially, but we only give them a little for transportation or similar. It is like that now. We must prepare in such a way that great teams can gather and truly praise. Right? That is not the conductor’s fault or the choir’s fault. It is our fault. So we must pray that praise can be done properly. Since people like to hear about money, I am saying, “Give offerings.”
(2) The churches in Europe that died because praise and worship died – In every age, praise has saved the world.
You will see this if you check. In Europe, there were people who gave all their possessions and said, “Use this only for praise, not for anything else.” So they built tremendous venues. At that time, in Europe, if there was a certain church that did a certain praise, people would say, “Let’s go there.” That was the culture. But as that praise died and worship died, the churches in Europe died. There is no gospel. In each age, praise has saved the world. We must pray.
(3) Restore with prayer the praise that Satan has stolen.
There are amazing musicians among us, but they are holding back. We cannot even provide a setting for them to present one piece. Our next generation is growing up. They should be standing on great stages and performing, but there is no opportunity. So praise has been taken away. Satan has stolen praise. We must restore it. We must restore it through prayer.

▣ Conclusion. Healing takes place through praise (Psalms 103:20–22).
David said this: “Praise the LORD, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His word.” “Praise the LORD, all His heavenly hosts, you His servants who do His will.” It is true. Healing takes place through praise.

I have seen this personally—once through video and once with my own eyes. There was a man with cancer. The cancer had spread to other parts of his body. The doctors said there was no hope. Since there was no hope in the hospital, he left. “You may only be able to endure a few months,” the doctors had said. He left the hospital and went to the mountains alone. He walked the mountains barefoot, went to clean places, and ate good herbs. He stayed there. Even in that place he stayed barefoot. He completely recovered. It is natural. As he breathed fresh air and walked barefoot constantly, he was continually reviving his body. The cancer cells attacked, but he kept reviving his system, so there was a battle and he won.

In my days as an evangelist, there was a place called “Mucheoksan Prayer House” near Gimhae in Busan. The mountain is called Mucheoksan, and an elderly woman ran the prayer house. There was not even a proper path to go up; we had to walk up. Why did I go? Because I heard that patients were getting healed and coming back down. I thought, “That is interesting. Let me go see.” When I went, I saw that it was very biblical and very medical. She was an elderly woman, and what did she do with the patients? She prayed and sang hymns with them all day long. All day long she sang hymns and prayed, clapping her hands like this. What do you think happened? After a few months, they were healed and went back. Their nervous system and body were being revived. So I thought, “Ah, of course.” They were praying and singing hymns. Such things happen. But I also thought, “That director is amazing,” because she stayed with one patient like that all day. That is truly remarkable.

※ Restoring prayer and praise becomes the most important power for us. When we go into the deep place of praise and prayer, God does the rest.
For us, restoring prayer and praise becomes our greatest power. We must restore them. When you praise, you call out to God. You express your desires. You can praise when you are alone. Then you change the world. Even if you do not go that far, there is much time for praise on Sundays, right? The choir sings, but there is also a lot of time when you sing hymns. If you just do that properly, it is enough. Then, in the remaining time, go into the deep place of prayer. As for your future, there is nothing more to say. If you go deeply into the praise and prayer that God gives, then He will take care of the rest.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today will be the beginning of a great victory.

Prayer. We give glory and praise to God. We give thanks. Help us to restore prayer. Help us to restore praise. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Lord Will Fight For You

Prayer Journal: December 5, 2025
23. Feb. 2025 Immanuel Church Sunday Worship 2nd Service
Scripture Reading: Exodus 14:1-14

“The LORD will fight for you.” There is no power stronger than God, so, “The LORD will fight for you.” It is a passage we know very well, but we may misunderstand it.

▣ Introduction
The very first thing we must know is that God led the Israelites to the Red Sea even though there were many good roads He could have taken them on. This is very important. In verses 1 and 2, God led them there. The great hardships that come to you are brought by God. It is not that God lacked the power to block them; He brought them in order to give you what is truly real. So in front of the sea, the Red Sea was blocking their way. Knowing this, the Egyptian army came after them. There were 600 chariots, and then all the other horses and charioteers were fully mobilized. They were coming to kill the Israelites. What could they do? It was truly a dead-end situation. If they went back, they would be killed by the Egyptians; if they went forward, they would drown in the water. They were in such a situation. But who led them to the Red Sea? The LORD did. You must remember this. It was to give them what is truly real. We keep thinking in the wrong way: “We have met this kind of crisis—what should we do?”

1. A dead-end situation
So at this time, it became a complete dead-end. They could neither go forward nor backward. At this time, two kinds of people appeared. As it says in today’s passage, most people grumbled. They said everything they wanted to say. “Why did you bring us here?” In other words, “We are suffering like this because we chose the wrong leader.” When in fact, God had brought them there. So while such a reaction arose, there was also a small number of people who prayed. There is no such thing as a dead-end situation.

2. Only one way
For us, there is only one way. We must cross the Red Sea. If we cannot cross it, we must die there. It is “do or die.” Right? God’s plan does not change. It was there that they grumbled, trying desperately to stay alive. In the end, those people could not enter Canaan. The ones who were newly born and the ones who held the covenant all went in.

3. The miracle – a bonus
So, as you know, God performed the miracle of parting the Red Sea. He let Israel cross. So this path where they experienced the Red Sea was, for the Israelites, a bonus path. It sounds easy in words, but if you are actually in that situation, it is almost like death. In fact, it is the same for Busan, for our Ulsan, for Changwon, and also for Imse. Many buildings are being constructed. We must have the faith to cross the Red Sea. Right? It is not a simple matter. At the Red Sea the question is, “Will you die or live?” Then the answer is simple. “Will you die, or will you build the temple?” Then we say, “Oh, we will build the temple,” and the blessings overflow. “Will you die, or drown in the Red Sea, or live?” Simply put, God is leading us in such a way. There are three reasons.

[ Egypt ] He would completely destroy the Egyptian army. Right? They had to all be drowned and killed.

[ Faith ] What else? He would plant faith in the Israelites. Since this tremendous, actual event took place, what do you think happened?

[ Reputation ] This news spread throughout the whole land. In this way, God had already begun. This is very important for us.

▣ Main
We must truly receive answers. We must have the faith to cross the Red Sea. But what is even more important is in the main point. In verse 1, God said, “Go there.” “Go to the Red Sea. Set up camp there.” Then in verses 3 and 4, God hardened Pharaoh’s heart. “Go attack Israel.” This is the right answer. Without Israel knowing at all, God led them to the Red Sea in order to give them true grace. And to punish the wicked to the very end, God drove them to the Red Sea. Moses knew this and spoke boldly. Moses understood this. He spoke boldly: “Stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The LORD will fight for you.” Why was that?

1. The covenant – The promise (Exodus–Canaan) First, God’s covenant does not change. It is God’s promise. When He gives the covenant to us, it becomes a promise. The Exodus and the entry into Canaan are God’s absolute plan. Building the three courtyards in Ulsan, Changwon, Busan, and Seoul for evangelism is God’s absolute plan.

1) Vision – Exodus 3:8, 2:1–10, 3:18–20 Already here, what did God give in advance? He gave the covenant as a vision. When He called Moses at Horeb, in Exodus 3:8, what did He say? “I will give you the land of Canaan.” That is it, right? When He first called Moses at Horeb, He said, “I have seen the misery of My people Israel,” and He promised, “I will give that land to you.” Moses knew this. Even before this, in Exodus 2:10, Moses had already heard something from his mother. It matched exactly. As she nursed him and finally sent him away, his mother said, “You must save Israel.” At that time, God said, “Go and offer the blood sacrifice. I will be with you with a mighty hand.”

2) Before the event He gave it before the event. In verse 1, “Then the LORD said to Moses…” He gave it in advance. Then in verse 2, what does He say? “Set up camp at such-and-such place.” He said it. That place was right in front of the Red Sea. Then in verse 4 He says, “I will harden Pharaoh’s heart so he will pursue them.” God’s amazing plan lay inside this. In the situation where you think you must panic, God’s amazing plan of blessing is contained. For unbelievers, it is a place of death. They are anxious. For God’s chosen people, it is a place of life. Right? The flood of Noah’s day was an event of death for those who were not God’s children. But for those who entered the ark, they lived because of the flood. Some people died because of the flood, and some people lived because of the flood. You must have absolute assurance. The difficult, dead-end situation before you is actually the way for you to live.

3) The evidence And God spoke of the evidence. “I will be with you; stand still and see the salvation of the LORD. I will let you cross this sea. The LORD will do it.” After Israel came out, the Egyptian army went in after them. The waters closed in and drowned them. And that is not all.

2. Experiencing God’s power Why did God drive the Israelites to the Red Sea and allow Egypt to chase them there? God did this. It was so that they would experience His power. We must experience the power of God.

1) Answer You must not experience with disasters, but experience with answers. It is the same event, but different. Look. Egypt experienced God through destruction—“Ah, this God is real,” that way. Israel experienced Him through answers.

2) The Word Many people experience God’s power through suffering, but we must experience it through the Word. When you hear testimonies of people who were in great suffering and later received answers—there is nothing wrong with that. Right? But there is nothing especially good about it either. I tell people not to put remnants under those who have had a lot of strange experiences. Right? It is best when nothing happens. The best is to realize through the Word. Right? Your children must realize as they go forward and receive answers, not by getting injured and going to the repair shop. Things get complicated then, right?

3) Prayer Among those who were grumbling, there were people who were praying. These are the ones who were led to experience God’s power. You must absolutely remember this. The Red Sea. It is an event we must talk about a lot. If we understand the situation that confronted them at the Red Sea and the power of God that parted it, there is nothing we cannot do. Why is it like this?

2. Assurance for the future It is assurance for the future.
1) The wilderness God was saying He would lead them through the wilderness. The wilderness is originally a place of suffering. But, “Look at how I parted the Red Sea!”

2) Preparation And since they would be in the wilderness for a long time, they must make all preparations with God’s power. The key among them is the tabernacle. Right? The center of everything is the tabernacle. That is why we say we must stake our lives and prepare the temple properly.

3) Conquest Further, there is a greater assurance. During the 400 years Israel was in Egypt, the land of Canaan had been taken by all kinds of mixed peoples. God was saying He would make them conquer Canaan. This meaning is contained in what happened before the Red Sea. Whenever you face difficulty, quickly find the covenant. Right? Do not be deceived. God shakes you in order to bless you. He is different from Satan. God is not Satan. Right? God shakes you in order to make you live. So, by passing through the Red Sea, He gave this perfect answer (main points 1, 2, and 3). This covenant is yours. You must hold firmly to this covenant and pray. Think: “What would happen if I were to die right now?” Or: “How much longer will I live?” You must have this forum. For example, if ten years pass, your situation will be completely different. Right? In ten years, people change. Generations change. Think what it would be like if you truly faced a great crisis. We must go forward with this faith (main points 1, 2, and 3). We must go with God’s power. At the recent conference, I mentioned this: when I went to Japan, Missionary Kang Myeong-ju came to meet me, and in our conversation she said something like this. She had been healed after nearly dying from cancer. So she said, “Pastor, once you stand before death, nothing else matters.” I said, “That is true.” “When death comes near, there is only the gospel.” We must start counting. We are standing before the Red Sea. We must cross the Red Sea. All the church members in Ulsan, Busan, and Changwon must pray, staking their entire lifetime. “Someday I will leave. When I am gone, what footprints will I have left here?” Without boasting, I must say: we must build the three courtyards, and I believe your history must be recorded. We must leave something so that our future generations can follow what kind of 237 missions we did. We must leave clearly what these three courtyards are. Then remnants from all over the world must come, see, and understand. “Ah, this is prayer. This is the gospel.” They must see that. That is the covenant He is telling us to hold. “The LORD will fight for you. Stand still and wait.” So this tremendous event occurred. Burying Egypt was natural, but more important was that the news went out to the whole world, and even more important was the faith there. To help you pray more, I will conclude.

▣ Conclusion
[ 40 years – The tabernacle ] What was the message of the forty years in the wilderness? The tabernacle. Without question, the tabernacle. With the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire at the center of the tabernacle. With the openings of the tents all facing the tabernacle.

[ The Early Church – 3 courtyards ] What was the message of the Early Church? It was the three courtyards of the temple that Jesus spoke of. That is the message.

[ 237–5000 closed churches ] Then what is our message today? Why did they do everything centered on the tabernacle, and why did the Early Church have the three courtyards? We must save the 237 nations. The 5,000 tribes must come to our church, learn evangelism, and go out. And even more, we must save the closed churches. So throughout the country and world, as I plan to speak with our church leaders and our young adults at the retreat, if you just open your eyes a little, there are many. In Germany, the elders said, “Look for an RUTC,” and when they looked—without really expecting it—there truly was one. Since it was a cultural center used by children, the rent was cheap and no one could touch it. It was all prepared. If our church leaders open their eyes just a bit, opportunities are everywhere. We must revive the churches that have closed. So our mission is not just any mission. Because we have no place now, multiethnic people come and go like this. We must have resources prepared so that they can rest and pray, and truly have healing. And we must have rooms ready where the sick can go in, pray comfortably, and listen to the message. We cannot make the entire church like that, but we must make it possible for those who desire it. Right now the church lacks nothing at all. What we must have is what God truly wants. This week you must experience the tremendous work of God that allows you to cross the Red Sea. Did the miracle of crossing the Red Sea take place? Check. It has taken place for me. The fact that a powerless sinner like me can be in a place to do world evangelization together with you—that, for me, is a miracle greater than the Red Sea. Some people say that they realized God’s grace after they fell into great illness, but for me it was not even that. By grace, God made me understand through the Word, and I am doing world evangelization. What is the conclusion? The Red Sea incident happened because of people who had no faith. That is the precise way to see it. If we had faith, He would have taken us directly, but now He had to do some work on them. He had to give some training. That is the Red Sea. If it were you, would you send your child out into the world when they do not even know how to write? You must educate them. If your child is weak and cannot even walk properly, would you send them outside? Of course not. God caused this tremendous incident called the Red Sea and overturned the world. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that this grace will begin in you today and this week. Let us pray.

Prayer. Let this covenant be imprinted in us today. Let us see the work of God who parts the Red Sea. Let the work of the Red Sea parting arise in our work, in our studies, and in our fields. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
