The Remnants Who Saved the 237 Nations and the 5000 Tribes

2024.11.23 Remnant and TCK Study of Evangelism)
Scripture Reading: John 21:14

How can we save the 237 nations and the 5000 tribes? It must be done by the remnants. When will the doors of North Korea open? One day, they will open. But we do not know the exact date. However, we can discern the situation.

Introduction – Future generations (RT–TCK)
Among the future generations who hold real power, there must be those whose spiritual eyes are opened. Not future generations like Kim Jong-un, but people in power whose eyes are spiritually opened—these are the ones who will save North Korea. If so, our RT–TCK have a very deep connection with this. In reality, the first generation plants much of the gospel and prayer. But in practice, it is the future generations who carry it out.

[Historical evidence]
This is historical evidence. Those who tried to fight against the actual power of Rome could not succeed. One day, the future generations arose, and this was fulfilled. Constantine, who declared Christianity as the state religion of Rome, had already felt something of this even as a child. As you know, a soldier once came, had a child, and left the child behind. When the child turned twenty years old, he went to find his father. His father, who was acting as the ruler of a certain region, was a sub-emperor. When the father saw him, he raised him and eventually appointed him as a sub-emperor. Among the sub-emperors, one would be chosen as emperor. At that time, Rome was developed to such an extent. And in this way, he became emperor. Astonishingly, during difficult times, Constantine’s mother was a Christian and a woman of prayer. This is no coincidence—it is remarkable.

  1. Covenant
We must hold firmly to the sure covenant.
  2. Evidence
    When the evidence comes,
  3. Witness
    We go as witnesses.

We must plant the covenant in many of North Korea’s future generations so that they will have evidence. One day, the work will break forth.

Main message

  1. 237 – RT
Thus, the answer for saving the 237 nations lies with the remnants.
  2. 5000 – TCK
The answer for saving the 5000 tribes lies with the TCK. This is why we must watch carefully and pray. We may be a stepping stone for the 237 nations, but in reality, we cannot do it ourselves. However, when the remnants arise, they will save the 237 nations.

1. 237 – RT

1) Genesis 41:38
This is the kind of situation a remnant can be in. Joseph stood before Pharaoh, and Pharaoh appointed him as prime minister. At such a time, events like this break out. No one can stop this in history, because it is God who works. Who would have thought that Constantine, who grew up as a Christian through his mother’s prayers, would become emperor? But one day, God did exactly this—to save the 237 nations.

2) Exodus 5:1–12:46
Through one remnant, such an event took place (Exodus 5:1–12:46). When the ten plagues struck Egypt, the whole world came to know. The miracles were tremendous. The Nile River, such an important and life-giving river, turned to blood. Everyone knew about it, because it flowed from the upper regions through Egypt. That river was like a god to the Egyptians. From that beginning, the plagues continued until the final day, when the firstborn were struck down.

3) 1 Samuel 17:1–47
In every age, a nation would arise as the greatest problem. Even now there are problem nations. In that day, it was the Philistines. Palestine is still a problem today. David single-handedly struck them down completely. This is the kind of work that takes place. This is why raising remnants is not a short-term effort—it produces fruit that remains for eternity.

4) Daniel 1:8–9
Even when taken as captives, if there are such remnants, an amazing work of world evangelization will arise. This is why we must raise remnants who know world evangelization and the 237 nations.

5) John 21:15–18
At the very end, Jesus said one thing: “Feed my lambs.” Even as He carried the cross, He said, “Weep for your children.” What is more important is the 5000 tribes. Our organization is now seeking to evangelize the 5000 tribes. We must send missionaries to them, but we are also seeking to bring them directly here. Surely, because God has planned this, amazing disciples will come. Remember the Ethiopian eunuch—he had not come as a tourist but for worship. He came to Jerusalem to worship. This is a miracle. Because he had wealth, he was able to purchase a scroll of Scripture, which in today’s terms would cost around fifty million won. He was reading it, unrolling it as he went, and came to the prophecy concerning Christ. At that moment, God, through the Holy Spirit, sent Philip to him. The eunuch asked, “What does this mean?” and Philip explained the gospel—Christ—to him. God worked so powerfully that the eunuch himself asked to be baptized. Such works happen.

2. 5000 – TCK

1) Acts 17:1

2) Acts 18:4

3) Acts 19:8

Paul, looking far ahead, did this work. He foresaw it and raised disciples in the synagogues. Even if we do nothing, these people (the 5000 – TCK) will surely go into the midst of the diaspora and come out.

Conclusion

[CCK], [NCK]
An even more important conclusion is this: North Korea is in this condition. It is filled with future generations (CCK, NCK) who hold to a completely dark, opposing culture. And 90% of them are entirely without any culture at all. This is the situation. Those who have escaped from North Korea are truly remarkable people, because the vast majority are simply bound. If they opened the door, they could live, but they have locked all the doors. The strange thing is, they do not realize this. If the door is opened, North Korea will live. But they will not open it.

If China opened its doors, it would become a tremendous nation. But they keep them closed. Long ago, when Britain invaded China, they presented certain conditions—build harbors in certain locations, open communications, and lend Hong Kong for one hundred years. They said this because they saw that China’s eyes were closed. As a result, Hong Kong became an international hub. See the difference? Closing the doors makes that much of a difference.

In our own nation, during the Yi Dynasty up to Daewon-gun, the doors were continually shut. There is a term we have used: “our people.” This is not a good expression. The Jews use a similar term: “our nation,” “only our nation.” But this is not God’s will. God’s will is for all peoples. In a sense, it is not about being multiethnic, but about being one people in Christ. If we do not realize this, disaster will continually strike. We must open our eyes and go to save the 5000 tribes. God will continue to work through you in the coming year.

Let us pray.

Prayer. We give thanks and praise to God. Let the light shine upon the 5000 tribes. Darkness is covering the whole world. Among the 5000 tribes, all kinds of diseases and spiritual difficulties are arising. Let us stand as witnesses who shine the light of the gospel to them. Especially, let the timetable for God’s light to shine upon North Korea come quickly. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
