Hymn
Fairest Lord Jesus
Anonymous

Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature,
Son of God and Son of Man!
Thee will I cherish, thee will I honor,
Thou, my soul’s glory, joy, and crown.

Fair are the meadows, fair are the woodlands,
Robed in the blooming garb of spring:
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer,
Who makes the woeful heart to sing.

Fair is the sunshine, fair is the moonlight,
And all the twinkling, starry host:
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
Than all the angels heav’n can boast.

Beautiful Saviour! Lord of the nations!
Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise, adoration,
Now and forevermore be thine.

Confession of Faith
The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
And is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy universal Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body
And life everlasting. Amen.

Scripture Reading
Acts 6:1-7

In those days when the number of disciples was increasing, the Hellenistic Jews among them complained against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, “It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables. Brothers and sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.”

This proposal pleased the whole group. They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit; also Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas from Antioch, a convert to Judaism. They presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.

So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.

Disciples Who See Problems as Blessings

Make every problem into a blessing. God has never once failed to turn problems into blessings.

Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation — 300%
Because we are the people of God who have been saved, there is a reason God has sent us. We must find what we absolutely must do. When something is entrusted to us, we must bring it to life. The secret of revival is found when we discover “only.” Then comes the answer of uniqueness that others recognize, and then comes re-creation. For the part entrusted to me, I must prepare 300%. Then many works will arise.

I found this easily. I asked, “How can children listen to the Word?” and I discovered Darakbang. When I was entrusted with middle and high school students, the only way was to go to the schools—I discovered team ministry. That was uniqueness. Then re-creation came. The 5000 tribes.

7∙7∙7 Prayer enjoying power, healing, summit
We must pray enjoying the 7∙7∙7 that Christ has given us as our background. From this, power appears, fundamental healing takes place, spiritual problems disappear, and we become the summit. At this time, every problem, every incident, every crisis becomes a blessing.

▣ Introduction: Eyes that see blessings
1. Remnant 7 – Going as a slave was the way to Egypt; going to prison was the way to promotion. David, who suffered greatly, was always thankful. Not a single thing failed to become a blessing.
2. Hebrews 11:38 – It looked like they were suffering, but they were not deceived by the world.
3. Paul – He suffered the most, yet wrote the most about Christ and thanksgiving.

▣ Main: Church leaders appointed in the age of crisis (Acts 6:1-7)
1. Agitation – Powerful people who could change the age incited others that the Early Church was a heresy, but God gave the answers that changed the age.
1) Extreme executions
2) Legal decrees – “Do not preach the gospel. Do not speak of the resurrection of Jesus or of Christ. Do not call Jesus Lord.”
3) Persecution from religious people
4) Persecution from merchants
5) Persecution from Rome
▷ Yet the gospel was never blocked, and the Word never stopped. It changed the age and conquered Rome.

2. Atmosphere of threats – True disciples arose.
1) Acts 11:19-30 – The Antioch Church was born.
2) Acts 12:1-25 – Church leaders became one and prayed together, and God called King Herod away.
3) Acts 13:1 – Paul was commissioned as a missionary.

3. Those being pursued – God entrusted them with the future and world evangelization.
1) The remnants – They looked like those abandoned, but they were the remaining ones. They looked like those who were chased away, but they were the scattered ones. They did not run away, they were sent. Through them, world evangelization arose.
2) Acts 13:1-4, 16:6-10, 19:21 – The Holy Spirit completely guided them, opening doors to Macedonia and Rome.
3) The diaspora (after A.D. 70) – The remnants were used to take the gospel to the whole world.
▷ Be thankful and entrust everything to God. God is the One who blesses (Luke 15). He knows your weaknesses and has promised the filling of the Holy Spirit.

▣ Conclusion: Do not be deceived
1. Reality (selfishness) – It is explained only for one’s self.
2. Fact (atmosphere) – It refers to the prevailing atmosphere.
3. Truth (frame) – The frame refers to what has already been set.
4. Spiritual fact (disaster) – We must save them so they will not be struck by disaster.
5. God’s plan (salvation) – It is to bring them to salvation.

▷ Come to the answer quickly. Every problem, incident, and opportunity is a blessing. This is the power of the gospel.
