Studies – Work – Evangelism – The 3 Courtyards – RTS, RGS, RLS (North Korea internship)
Our Remnants must have a standard. What is the standard by which Remnants study? Also, as you go forward to do work (industry), what is that standard? And for evangelism, by what actual standard should you evangelize? The standard here is the 3 courtyards. You must prepare your competence to the level of carrying out the 3 courtyards. Remnants must have something they can come and learn from you—if that is absent, it means there is no courtyard. Therefore pastors must utilize every organization entirely for the 3 courtyards and for the three-day weekend age. If so, we presently have important schools here: RTS, RGS, and RLS. These schools must, of course, study, but in essence they must become places of internship. You must discover programs so that they can become North Korea Remnant internship sites. Try it at RTS, RGS, and RLS. There are those who escaped from North Korea who are now raising their children. Though they may be doing something in the church, RTS or RLS should formally invite them, and in this way it must become an internship. The goal of that internship is this.
If this is not done and they are sent out, they cannot succeed. It is important to consider what our Remnants will do going forward; however, if you do not do this, it will not connect to the next step. Therefore you will, if thinking wrongly, end up becoming anxious in your mind: “What should I do going forward?” Even if that is not entirely bad, for now, for example, what did Joseph do? Nothing else—he cleaned after being taken as a slave. That was not, in fact, Joseph’s major. It was not something he had discovered that he should do. He did not search it out; it was made for him. At such a time there is the best method: he did the best possible cleaning. He made cleaning 300%. That was the end of it. God then opened the next doors and led him forward. What is the key to North Korea missions? In practice, making the 300% is much easier. Put simply, when I go out to an evangelism camp, I go out only when the 300% is prepared. You go around by zeal, but I cannot because I would be ashamed. You go without shame and boldly, but I cannot. Who was the person I respected most on earth? The one selling goods on the bus. Why? Because I absolutely cannot do that. When I watch them, I think, “If someone asked me to run for parliament, I could do it—why not?” But if someone told me to sell wallets on the bus—I cannot. I cannot do that sort of evangelism. Precisely 300%. Then works inevitably arise. But why do we miss this? It is regrettable.
Therefore the Remnants must make this preparation. Why? Because someone must do it no matter what. What? The courtyard of the Gentiles. Who does it matters.
1. The courtyard of the Gentiles
If someone without the gospel attempts the courtyard of the Gentiles, they suffer constantly. Because it is hard, they think, “If I do this, it will make money.” Someone without the gospel operates a mission home—because there is some income. One day its doors will close.
2. The courtyard of healing
To what level must the Remnants succeed? To the level of creating this that heals the world.
3. The courtyard of Remnants (RT)
You must save the posterity. You must succeed to at least this degree. From one angle this is conscience—conscience. In another sense it is also a commission, but it is a basic conscience. If we cannot save posterity, cannot help the sick, and cannot save the Gentiles, then we have lost everything. This is for two reasons: either it is not the gospel, or this has not been prepared. The gospel itself is 300%, because it has finished my past, today, and future. This is the gospel. Jesus said this. “It is finished.” He called them to Mt Olive—“It is finished” was spoken on Mt Calvary, and then on Mt Olive He spoke for forty days about the kingdom of God. The part you must take care with is the beginning.
1. The courtyard of the Gentiles
1) 13:1–4 Guidance of the Holy Spirit
Wait until the guidance of the Holy Spirit arises. Many people rush ahead when it has not arisen yet. This is what grieves the Holy Spirit. That is Ephesians 4:30. Or when the work of the Spirit has arisen and one does not move, that is “Do not quench the Spirit.” That is 1 Thessalonians 5:19. Until this becomes visible, do not move. Then you will unconditionally succeed.
2) 16:6–10 Vision
Then there are times when the way is suddenly blocked. At such times people err again. They do something else—do other things—because it is not working. Or they give up. No. You must wait for the accurate covenant. “In a vision…” This means he waited while praying. How good is that? If you have no money, do not spend money—pray. If you are sick, lie down and pray. Being sick means: do not go around—so lie down and pray. And then “to Macedonia”—this changed the age. If you receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit when you face difficulties, you will change the age. There is no need to be discouraged. There is no need to “take courage” either. Just be led.
3) 19:1–8 (Me)
This is very important. It is the moment when the covenant message given on Mt Olive and what took place in Mark’s upper room was fulfilled in Paul. He “spoke boldly about the kingdom of God.” But the kingdom of God, the throne—these are terms the unbeliever cannot understand. Yet if you cannot understand these terms, you cannot do world evangelization. You cannot see the third and fourth worlds.
2. The courtyard of healing
1) Bind the darkness
First, bind the darkness.
2) Authority
And, with authority, cast out demons.
3) The power of the Word (three months – two years)
By the power of the Word, works of healing the incurable arise. This is the field of the courtyard of healing. He did this for three months, and then for two years he carried out the Word movement, and works arose.
3. The courtyard of Remnants (RT)
Therefore, what is most important for the Remnants?
1) The perfection of Christ
The perfection of Christ. That is settled. This is what Remnants must discover.
2) The perfection of worship and prayer
The perfection of worship and prayer. Tomorrow—no, now—enjoy it now. When you say “Amen” now, it is imprinted in your brain. The answer comes a little later. If you entertain strange thoughts now, that is what gets imprinted. If you are blank during worship—that gets imprinted. If the Word does not enter you at all during worship—something else gets imprinted. You must surely know this.
3) The perfection of answers
How does God answer? It says he “spoke boldly about the kingdom of God.” The perfection of answers. You must know the three perfections. The answer is from the throne. The answer is as the kingdom of God. The fulfillment of the answer is as the work of the kingdom of God. When? Now. In your brain and soul. That connects to the throne. It descends again—as the kingdom. It is fulfilled—as the work of the kingdom. If such Remnants arise, you do not need to worry about succeeding. There are things to prepare for, but that is not “worry”; that is preparation. As we live, there are times we feel uneasy. In one sense, that is not anxiety but perceiving a crisis. But “anxious care” is a slightly different term—it means you have fallen into it. Therefore Remnants must be blessed to at least this measure. RTS, RGS, and RLS must become places of internship. Prepare that. They must become places of internship. Therefore, if you think it is difficult, it seems difficult—but it is not necessarily so. Even within your small reality, great answers are contained. Today and tomorrow, may you completely enjoy the blessing of the three-day weekend age in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.
Prayer. We give thanks to God. In the remaining time, by God’s working, may answers arise to save the whole world. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
