Introduction
I was blessed. It was a world-class praise. Last year too, you came out wearing a muffler, and it was pretty. In fact, this message continues to go out to the entire world. And what I am even more thankful for is this: among theologians, I have never seen anyone who enjoys the gospel and evangelizes. That is the reason the doors of the churches of the world are closing. To see, for the first time, a scholar who loves the gospel and proclaims it—that is our Professor Seo Mal-Sim. When I asked her to serve as president of the women gospel workers’ association, at first she hesitated a bit. I am thankful that, while praying, she made her decision. This is not just talk—actually, you are the most important. Because the church will come to life through you, I hope this will become the most important conference to begin with.

When I went to the Remnant Conference in America, to get on the plane to America, you board a small bus-like vehicle. A middle school student greeted me. He said he had come to attend the Remnant Conference. I kept watching, and now he has grown and become a school teacher. He is attending Immanuel Seoul Church, and he once said this to me: what he regrets the most is not being able to attend the conferences. As a teacher, he does not have time, though he wants to follow the conferences and receive grace. Even so, he does not miss a single message. Last Sunday, when I got into the car, there was an envelope. It was from that remnant. What had he put inside? He is now holding onto the Word and doing ministry, and he had written down the important works taking place and sent them to me—a full report of how the Word is being fulfilled. That gave me tremendous strength. He did not say anything else at all. For this conference, the question is whether even one of you can truly save the church. There is. I will wrap this up in the afternoon.

Theme of the 21st Women Gospel Workers Retreat: “The Evangelist Who Heals (3 John 1:2)”
For this first session, you are evangelists who heal, but you must first begin with this (spiritual healing). So I will briefly give you the titles of three lectures. Since churches are urgently closing their doors, you must surely do ministry properly. I will give the conclusion this evening, but when you raise even one disciple, that disciple must continue to see works arise—that is when you have done proper ministry. Then how must you do it? I will speak about that in the second lecture. And in order to do that, you must first begin with this invisible healing.

Even now these things are taking place, so: ① We must quickly heal Jewish Christianity. ② The Early Church reached a limit—we must heal that. Because even now, the same things are happening. And third, ③ We must heal the church authority of the Roman Church.

These things are still happening now. If you do not know the gospel properly and, inside the church, church leaders raise their strength to do things, saying, “Let us do something,” that can become the Tower of Babel. In most cases, the reason disputes arise inside the church is because a Babel Tower team rises, and so disputes arise. It must truly be “for the gospel, for the church.” When those who say, “Let us do something,” get united in their own way, they do not listen to the pastor. They do not listen to God’s Word. When they say, “Let us do something,” what is that if not the Babel Tower team? The Babel Tower team used those words: “Let us make a name for ourselves.” Such cases still exist now. If you do not heal this, answers will not come at all. It looks right on the surface, but the church does not grow. It does not truly save anyone. Wherever you go, things must come to life, must they not? Right? If nothing comes to life, what use are theories and theology? If we cannot save people, then all theories must bow down to God’s Word and be made under it.

In Acts 4:12, this is what Peter said. What does this Jewish Christianity say? They say, “Because we are waiting for Christ, Christianity is correct.” That part is true. But what do they say? They say, “Do not talk about Christ.” They say, “Do not say that Jesus is the Christ.” That is what they said there. Peter’s reply at that time was this: “There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” The Early Church reached a limit.

In Acts 11:1–18, the most important answer came, yet they spoke the most foolish words. Jesus had spoken of world evangelization, and the first door had been opened. Who was it? Cornelius. They should have been shocked, right? They should have been overflowing with thanksgiving. But this Jewish Christianity was the problem. They spoke in that Jewish way. Controversy arose. They said, “You went into the house of Gentiles and ate with them.” Because you have the gospel, you can understand that this sounds absurd. But at that time, that had power.

Romans 1:16–17 is what Luther brought forth when Rome had fallen into church authority. It was what Paul had said: “I am not ashamed of the gospel,” even though it causes great difficulty for me, “for it is the power of God that gives salvation,” and “the righteous will live by faith.” In front of this covenant, the church authority finally collapsed. These three things are the healing you must first receive. This is invisible healing. Theologians who do not know the gospel are completely unaware of these parts. Because they do not know them.

Lecture 1: Healing Jewish Christianity (Acts 4:12)

▶ Introduction – You already know the introduction, so I will simply introduce the titles.

1. The Seven Great Disasters
Great, major disasters came seven times. The Bible is a record of Israel receiving disasters. Why? So that they would understand the gospel.

2. Posterity – Slaves, Captives, Colonies
Their posterity became slaves, captives, and people of a colony.

3. The Age of the Remaining Wanderers
In addition, they went out as wanderers. This is now the age of the remaining wanderers. This is Jewish Christianity today.

4. Future Disaster – The Middle East War
And if you look ahead, the future disaster will likely arise from war in the Middle East. You must pray for this.

▶ Main Message – What did they in fact not know? You know this well, but what did these people actually not know? There are many things, and if we list them all, almost everything is wrong, but in short, there were three major things they did not know.

1. Original Sin and Personal Sins – The Twelve Strategies (Satan)
They could not distinguish between original sin and personal sins. Jesus Christ being nailed to the cross includes personal sins, but it is the resolution of original sin. Right? It is not that the law is unnecessary. Even if you keep the entire law, you cannot be saved. Right? You cannot keep it all, but even if you did, if you do not believe in Jesus Christ, you cannot be saved. They could not distinguish between original sin and personal sins, and they absolutely did not know original sin. So the words, “You are saved by faith,” could not be understood. The Jews thought, “Saved by believing what ?” This brought an unimaginable disaster. As John Calvin said, human beings absolutely cannot be saved on their own. Because we cannot receive salvation by ourselves, God promised to send Christ. This may seem small, but it cannot block disaster. Disasters come upon the churches and cause them to shut their doors and fall into chaos. It may look like nothing, but you must save this. You do not even need me to explain; you know this better. The Jews, in simple terms, did not know the twelve strategies of Satan. They said, “Is there such a thing as original sin?” but original sin is being separated from God. That is original sin.

2. The Gospel and the Law
After that, what else? They could not distinguish between the gospel and the law. We are not saying we do not need the Word. Jesus said He did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. Jewish Christianity could not distinguish this. So when they heard, “According to your faith it will be done,” and “You are saved by faith,” they could not understand it.

3. Ignorance of the Spiritual World
And they were extremely ignorant, especially concerning the spiritual world. To what extent? They came to Jesus and attacked Him, saying, “Why do You talk about Satan?” This is exactly the same question as people ask today: “Why do you talk about Satan?” This is a very, very troubling statement. This flow—the spiritual flow—is exactly the same. The churches all over the world are closing their doors. This is serious. Not only are they closing; in some countries, when a church is sold, that is one thing, but there are countries where you are not allowed to sell church buildings. You cannot sell them. They remain as ruins. The church that first sent the missionary Thomas—who came to our country, proclaimed the gospel, and died—is now in ruins. I heard an old man is managing it alone. That is the current situation.

Conclusion
So urgent healing must be passed on to you. That urgent healing consists of three things, does it not?

1. The Mt Calvary Covenant
It is the Mt Calvary covenant. Even now people are wandering. Jesus said, “It is finished,” yet we are still looking back. He said, “It is finished,” yet because they do not understand this word, they remain seized by the past. No matter how much they learn, in reality they are seized by the past. That is serious. Through you, this must be solved quickly. Can it be that the members of the church are always seized by the past? Yet Jesus said, “It is finished.”

2. The Mt Olive Covenant – The Mission of the Throne
It is the Mt Olive covenant; you absolutely must give this. The most important part of the Mt Calvary covenant is that the curses, disasters, authority of Satan, and background of hell that you should have received have all been finished. Second, what is the Mt Olive covenant? It is the mission of the throne. Because they do not know this, the church members do not know prayer. They ask, “How should we pray?” and Jesus gave the conclusion. He had said everything beforehand: “Is there anything else to pray about besides this?” In a sense, He did not “teach” prayer; what we call the Lord’s Prayer is, in a way, a strong warning about prayer. As I see it, He is saying, “Why do you think you have so much to pray about? Let the Father’s name be glorified, let God’s kingdom come—is there anything more to pray about? Daily bread is enough.” He was not saying, “Buy a scoop of rice every day and eat it.” In case they might not understand, He said it again. That is Matthew 6:33. He gave the conclusion: “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.” He proclaimed that covenant on Mt Olive for forty days. In reality, the church members do not know what prayer is. They do not know what prayer Jesus taught. Jesus did not gather them and say, “Hey, pray like this,” and then teach them the Lord’s Prayer. The disciples kept asking. They said, “John the Baptist teaches prayer; teach us to pray too.”

3. The Mark’s Upper Room Covenant – Worship (Prayer)
It is the Mark’s upper room covenant. You must absolutely give this. This must truly be the end. They experienced the Mark’s upper room and that was the end. From that moment, works continued. But when they lost hold of this, limits came. So what conclusion comes? For church members, it must be enough to have only worship and prayer. You must help them discover this. Please save the church members. You as assistant pastors meet each member personally. That is a tremendous opportunity. No matter how much you teach them theory, it is useless. Why would you do what is useless? For all the elders, all the answers must come out in the Sunday worship. That is why David said this: “I lack nothing.” That is the person who truly prays. Why? “The Lord is my shepherd,” so there is nothing more I lack. Did he say that as a joke? He was on the run, yet he said, “Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. This is not what I truly desire. I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” It is a completely different level. That is a statement about the throne. You must properly give this. I can say firmly: if you do not know this, you cannot live a life of faith.

Lecture 2: Healing the Limitation of the Early Church (Acts 11:1–18)

▶ Introduction – The second thing you must quickly teach is this: the Early Church came to a limit here. Rather than the entire Early Church, Peter’s team reached a limit.

1. Acts 11:1–18
Take a look at this passage we mentioned earlier.

2. Galatians 2:11–20
It did not end there. In Galatians 2:11–20, Peter went around talking. As Paul was pioneering and works were arising, Peter must have had some strange thoughts. He went around saying, “We still have to keep the Jewish law.” The name of James appears there, and the name of Barnabas as well. It is unbelievable. So Paul said this: “Then do you keep the Jewish law perfectly? You cannot keep the Jewish law yourself—why do you tell the believers to keep it?” And Galatians 2:20 came from that: “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” If you do not know this, you cannot help but go wrong.

3. 2 Corinthians 10:4–5
In 2 Corinthians 10:4–5, it says not only a bartizan but that they are building fortresses, “strongholds.” It says “stronghold” in the English Bible—a fortress that cannot be broken down. It can only be demolished by the Word. If you do not do this, you will never, ever receive answers. You, the evangelists of this age, must do this. I am very distressed about this.

▶ Main Message – You already know the main points.

1. God’s Word – People’s Words
There is God’s Word and there are people’s words. Which should we believe? Everyone knows the answer. Yet people emphasize the latter more.

2. My Thoughts – The Guidance of the Holy Spirit
Every person has their own thoughts. But the truth is this: the guidance of the Holy Spirit. People do not deny the guidance of the Holy Spirit, but because they are already like this, they act according to their own thoughts.

3. Together – Division
If we are in the Holy Spirit, we cannot help but go together. But what happens? Division arises. This is the current reality of the church. You must save it.

Conclusion: Prayer
So we must give them an answer. I will give the answer first, because they do not understand at all.

1. Bartizan (Imprint)
Imprint the bartizan that Christ spoke about for forty days. That is prayer. They do not know what prayer is; so imprint the bartizan that Christ established.

2. Journey (Root)
Christ told us to go on the journey, so take that as your root.

3. Guidepost (Nature)
And the key of revival and whether the church grows or not lies in the guidepost. The difference between growing and not growing comes from the guidepost. The key for whether a business does well or not is the guidepost. Take the guideposts Christ gave, and let them completely become your nature so that they become your life. Through you, if the church members’ imprint, root, and nature are completely changed so that God’s things enter in, that is enough. Others may not like to hear this, but only you can do it. So you must surely remember this. This conclusion is the answer. You must quickly give this.

Lecture 3: Healing the Ecclesiastical Authority of the Roman Church (Romans 1:16–17)

▶ Introduction – Look at these people. Three things had no choice but to arise.

1. Church Authority
Because they did not taste the deep flavor of the gospel but still saw growth, Rome fell into chaos. Church authority.

2. Royal Authority
Would the king stay still? Royal authority. It became a power struggle.

3. Financial Authority
Then the struggle of financial authority came. Because they needed money, they said that the sale of indulgences had good intentions if you asked them. They said it was a way to raise funds to build the enormous St. Peter’s Basilica. No matter what they say, does it make sense to say that if you pay money your sins are taken away?

▶ Main Message – Then what must you now know? Three things have no choice but to come.

1. Division
2. Disaster
3. War

Division arises. Disaster comes, and there is no way to avoid it. War. These things still remain for the future as well. These things arise.

Conclusion: Absolute
So the mission you absolutely must fulfill is not only to work hard—I say, more than zeal, hold onto what is absolute.

1. The Guidance of the Holy Spirit – The Absolute Bartizan
From now on, establish the absolute bartizan of receiving the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Not just a bartizan, but an absolute bartizan. When you listen to the second lecture, you will realize that you can do this. Everything else will someday disappear.

2. The Work of the Holy Spirit – The Absolute Journey
Only what is accomplished by the work of the Holy Spirit becomes the absolute journey.

3. The Fruit of the Holy Spirit – The Absolute Guidepost
Then the Holy Spirit will surely bear fruit. This is the absolute guidepost. It is what God has completely established. You must quickly enjoy these three and pass them on.

If these things (the contents of the lectures) are not established in any case, the evangelism movement will not arise. If you do not pass on what Christ earnestly spoke and showed, the churches of the world will close. If they only closed, that would be one thing, but disasters will come. It is shocking. If you go to Europe, you will see that almost all the churches have closed, and hardly any people are there. There are temple-like buildings that have been turned into tourist attractions. Tourists come there. Then, because of this, no seminary students are coming. That means the young adults are all falling asleep. We must quickly stop this. Once, I happened to be in Germany on a Sunday and went to a church building. Only a few elderly women were gathered. No elderly men—only a few elderly women. Why did they come? They gather and, in their own way, pray, but from our perspective, they simply gather and eat biscuits. This is serious. At another church, something was posted outside. I wondered what it was. The church doors were closed and something was posted outside. The content said: “Our pastor has gone on a three-month vacation, so we will be closed for three months.” Another church had something even more absurd: “Our church will be closed for one year because our pastor is on sabbatical.” This is the situation. You truly must work. The church must be revived. In the second lecture, I will speak on three things that must be done to bring about revival, and you must truly set your hearts and pray. In the second session, I will tell you how to pray. You must be able to teach the church members, “Pray like this in reality.” They must be able to really enjoy the answers. If you raise one young adult, that young adult must go out and actually do the evangelism movement.

Right now in Korea, a great wind is beginning to arise because of world evangelization. God is doing it. The multiethnic are coming, and you must completely imprint this in them and send them back out. Right? It is an opportunity. If you do not do that, it is a crime. God has called the multiethnic, but if they leave without having the correct gospel imprinted, without knowing how to pray, and without knowing what evangelism taught by God is, then even if you simply played with them, ate together, and had a good time, that is a crime. God, by the Holy Spirit, stirred the Ethiopian eunuch. Right? At that time, God, by His Spirit, connected Philip to him. If Philip had gone and said something else, he should have been beaten to death; it would have been the crime of all crimes. But he spoke of Christ. He explained what the eunuch was reading. The Bible records a very mysterious phrase: “He never saw him again.” That word struck me: “Ah!” If you will never see again the disciple who is to be saved whom you meet, that means there is no second opportunity. That person is at such an important time schedule. What is truly important to us? There is nothing truly important except God’s answers. That is why you have been called here.

So, connecting this to the second lecture today, you must truly bring life wherever you go, even though you say you have no strength. You must save.

From the time I was an assistant pastor until now, we must share together what answers I have received. As an assistant pastor, what strength do I have? An assistant pastor has no strength at all. Yet it can be done. We must find that. So in the most difficult situation—God’s model, you could say—God sent me to Yeongdo in the most difficult situation. Still, no matter how small, when a church calls a pastor, they should at least provide a place to live, should they not? But God’s plan was: “Take care of your own house.” I said, “All right.” And there was no church building. It was in someone else’s factory, on a mezzanine level—not even the second floor, but a low middle floor where they had hastily built something to lift goods. Because it was urgent, they must have rented that. Even so, they brought in a piano, but the piano sank. At that time, I discovered many of God’s covenants. And I did not make those covenants myself; you must go find what is already in the Bible and pass it on to the disciples.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that, among the many retreats we will have, this will become the greatest time schedule of blessing. I will pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. We thank You that You have set up our women gospel workers, who are actually the ones closest to the church members. Because of even one person who has attended here, may the church come to life. May the disciples come to life. May the multiethnic come to life. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
