Call to Worship
God is spirit, and
..His worshipers must worship
..In the Spirit and in truth.” — John 4:24

Hymn
I Will Worship You
Seok Jin Oh · Ha Young Yoo

In the Spirit Lord, I will worship You.
And in truth alone I will worship You.
With the gospel of life, I will worship You.
For You are worthy of all glory, Lord.

Father, Son, and Spirit, I will worship You.
With the covenant, I will worship You.
With the blessing of the throne, I will worship You.
Lord, let your power be revealed through my life.

Confession of Faith
The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
And is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy universal Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body
And life everlasting. Amen.

Hymn
Praise Him! Praise Him!
Fanny Crosby

Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer!
Sing, O earth– His wonderful love proclaim!
Hail Him! Hail Him! highest archangels in glory;
Strength and honor give to His holy name!
Like a shepherd, Jesus will guard His children;
In His arms, He carries them all day long.

Praise Him! Praise Him! Tell of His excellent greatness.
Praise Him! Praise Him ever in joyful song!

Praise Him, praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer!
For our sins He suffered, and bled, and died.
He, our Rock, our Hope of eternal salvation—
Hail Him! Hail Him! Jesus, the Crucified!
Sound His praises! Jesus, who bore our sorrows!
Love unbounded, wonderful, deep, and strong.   Refrain

Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer!
Heav’nly portals loud with hosannas ring!
Jesus, Savior, reigneth forever and ever.
Crown Him! Crown Him! Prophet, and Priest, and King!
Christ is coming, over the world victorious;
Pow’r and glory unto the Lord belong!   Refrain

Hymn
Take the Name of Jesus with You
Lydia Baxter

Take the name of Jesus with you,
Child of sorrow and of woe;
It will joy and comfort give you;
Take it then where’er you go.

Precious name, oh how sweet!
Hope of Earth and joy of Heav’n.
Precious name, oh how sweet!
Hope of Earth and joy of Heav’n.

Take the name of Jesus ever,
As a shield from ev’ry snare;
If temptations round you gather,
Breathe that holy name in prayer.   Refrain

Oh! the precious name of Jesus,
How it thrills our souls with joy,
When his loving arms receive us,
And his songs our tongues employ.  Refrain

At the name of Jesus bowing,
Falling prostrate at his feet,
King of kings in Heav’n we’ll crown him,
When our journey is complete.  Refrain

Scripture Reading
1 Corinthians 1:18-31
Pastor Samuel

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
    the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”

20 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22 Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

Special Music
You Are My All in All
Dennis Jernigan · Worship Team

You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
I’m seeking You like a precious jewel
Lord, to give up I’d be a fool
You are my all in all

Jesus, Lamb of God
Holy is Your name
Jesus, Lamb of God
Holy is Your name

Taking my cross my sin my shame
Raising again I praise Your name
You are my all in all
When I fall down You pick me up
When I run dry You fill my cup
You are my all in all   [Chorus]

You are my strength when I am weak
You are the treasure that I seek
You are my all in all
When I fall down You pick me up
When I run dry You fill my cup
You are my all in all   [Chorus]

▣ Introduction
1. Recover the anticipation of worship – the work of the Triune God is fulfilled and the power of the throne comes upon us
1) Praise – the heavenly armies are mobilized, the work of the throne takes place, and heaven and earth are moved.
2) Representative prayer – God answers.
3) Offering – it is the only way the three economies are restored.
4) Empty moments – you must hold onto the Word and wait for what God will work in you today.

2. Change your thinking and open your eyes – do not think about getting help; remnants in developing countries must open their eyes to which of the 5,000 tribes they will help, and remnants in the United States must open their eyes to whom they will help.

3. Special prayer topic – there must be an elementary school inside the church for those who will become pastors and special professionals. They must be imprinted properly. If we do not nurture spiritual strength, we cannot overcome.

Imprint it in them when they are young
1. Joseph – the background that enabled him to understand Genesis 37:1–11 must be formed when he is young (prayer).
2. Moses – he was placed in the palace of Egypt after being clearly taught the gospel and prayer.
3. Samuel – God planted power in Samuel when he had just been born.
4. David – when he was young, while guarding the sheep, he learned to pray, praised, and wrote.
5. Paul – because without imprinting when they are young they cannot move the world, he went to the synagogues.
6. Deuteronomy 6:4–9 “Love the LORD with all that you are, and imprint in your children the amazing works that have taken place until now.”

▣ Main: What we must enjoy and teach
1. Spiritual imprinting – healing of darkness
1) Genesis 3, 6, 11 – the incident in the garden of Eden, the Nephilim age, and the tower of Babel age.
2) Acts 13, 16, 19 – idol worship, and believing the words of those possessed by evil spirits.
3) The six states of unbelievers – they live bound as children of the devil: spiritual problems, physical problems, passed down to the next generation, with a hell background.
4) The darkness that has entered into the family line and the home.
5) The darkness that has entered into me – my spiritual state is desolate, and because I cannot pray, I have no spiritual strength.
6) The darkness that has entered into the church – the atmosphere of the church, the house and stronghold that Satan has built inside me, and serving the devil as the god of this world and the ruler of this world (Acts 11:1–18, Matthew 12:26–30, 2 Corinthians 10:4–5, 2 Corinthians 4:4–5, John 16:11).

2. Spiritual strength – the root
1) Because they know nothing of spiritual things, they in reality have no strength at all.
(1) Those who are perishing, for whom the gospel seems laughable and worthless (verse 18).
(2) God, who saves through the “foolishness of preaching,” because people cannot know God by their own wisdom (verses 19–21).
(3) We believe and proclaim Christ crucified (verses 22–23).
2) The true power – Christ.
(1) Christ is the power of God (verse 24).
(2) Which is greater: the “foolishness” of God or the wisdom of people? (verse 25).
(3) The reason He called you – because no flesh could save humankind, He saved us through Christ, and the only thing we can boast in is the Lord (verses 26–31).
3) The power to overcome the world – we must not be deceived.

3. Spiritual commission – our nature
1) God, who led them to the lowest place and then guided them to the highest place – Joseph, Moses, Samuel, David, the remnants in Babylon, and to Rome.
2) what Jesus Christ gave for 40 days: “You will be witnesses” – the bartizan of the throne, the journey, and the guidepost.
3) Paul, who obtained this answer – he laid everything down and boldly testified of having met Christ and of the kingdom of God.

▣ Conclusion
1)What remains at the end of life – the souls you have evangelized (1 Thessalonians 2:19).
2) Suffering and answers are all part of the process – the fulfillment of the Word and world evangelization are the greatest answer and blessing.
3) Because I do not match this, He said He will be with us with all authority in heaven and on earth. He promised the power of the throne.

Hymn
Amazing Grace
John Newton

Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

The Lord hath promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.

Prayer · Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
forever and ever.
Amen.

Hymn
We Will Keep Our Faith Alive!
Don Besig · Nancy Price

Gathered here, within this place,
We can share in God’s redeeming grace.
There’s no room for doubt or fear;
We can feel His presence here.
As we face each passing day,
We will serve and honor and obey;
And if hope should start to dim,
We will know our trust is in Him.

And we will keep our faith alive,
God will always be our guide.
Through the darkest night,
We will see God’s light.
We will keep our faith alive!

We will live as God has planned,
Though at times we may not understand.
Many things we may not see,
But our faith will help us believe.
From His Word we learn the truth;
Through His love we all are born anew.
With His help, we will not fail
For we know our God will prevail.  Chorus

Benediction
