The Future is Guaranteed for Evangelism Disciples

Scripture Reading: Joshua 1:1-9

※ Prepared World Turning Point – The most important time schedule in history to enter the land never trodden before (237 nations, 5,000 tribes).

Now, our missionaries are heading out to the battlefield of the 237 nations and 5,000 tribes. This is just before the people of Israel enter the land they had only heard about. They are going to this beautiful land flowing with milk and honey, which they had only experienced through stories or songs in their dreams, even though they have never been there. It is a land never trodden before. It is the land of their ancestors, but they have never set foot in it. It is the most important time schedule in history. Therefore, the entire world is observing Missions Sunday together. As stated in the title, it is the prepared world turning point.

1. If you do not know this, unbelief, resentment, trials, and environment will govern your life.
If you do not know this, unbelief arises. Even when you speak, you inevitably speak words of resentment. The consideration of others feels like interference. Work becomes a trial. Your environment starts to govern your life. While our lives should govern the environment, the environment ends up governing us.

2. When you see the perfectly prepared turning point of God, your eyes to see the past, today, and future change, and problems look different.
When you see the turning point perfectly prepared by God, it is different. First, your eyes to see the past, today, and future are different. When a problem arrives, it is already different. This is the difference. You recognize the right captain when you meet a great storm. You cannot tell when the ship is sailing slowly and well. Also, you recognize a true soldier only when a war breaks out. During this wilderness journey, the true disciples of evangelism are within this.

3. Because Satan fears you—who possess the true gospel—he creates people of unbelief to make things difficult.
Heading toward the 237 nations and 5,000 tribes is a war truly greater than any actual war. Satan knows. He knows that you possess the true gospel. There are many “mixed” gospels out there. Satan fears you. Therefore, there is only one method he uses. His goal is to constantly turn you into a person of unbelief to make things difficult for you. Think of how difficult it must be to walk this wilderness path.

▣ Introduction_ What Joshua Saw First

In the introduction, there are three things that Joshua saw first.

1. The Era of Moses
What Joshua saw first was the era of Moses. Therefore, there is certain evidence of being together with Moses. He saw the era of Moses.

1) Exodus 3:18: Joshua knows the message of that time, “Go and offer a blood sacrifice.” It is not just that.

2) 10 Miracles: He saw the culture of darkness crumble as the 10 miracles were performed to break down Egypt.

3) Crossing the Red Sea according to the Word: More importantly, the people of Israel cannot be understood. God led them in front of the Red Sea. There are many things in God’s Word that we do not understand. However, He said He would make them cross the Red Sea. That incomprehensible history of the Red Sea parting took place. Joshua was there as a servant.

4) Miracles of the Wilderness: He saw the miracles of the wilderness and knew what the Tabernacle was and what the Ark of the Covenant was.

2. What He Saw as a Servant
More importantly, it wasn’t just Moses who saw; Joshua saw as a servant. When we look at our parents, there are things they know, but there are things I feel as well. He followed Moses for 40 years. He followed without wavering at all. He saw everything.

1) God who is with Moses.

2) Moses who is with God. This is important. He saw God who is with Moses, but he also saw the leader Moses who is with God. He saw God and Moses being together during every crisis.

3. What He Saw Upon Becoming a Leader
Even more importantly, there is something Joshua saw as he became a leader. This is important. This is what our multi-ethnic disciples must take with them. What is it?

1) 12 Tribes and 12 Regions – The method is 24. This is important. God has prepared regions for our missionaries. The method? You just need to do 24. Remnants, do not ask people questions from now on. Just do 24. The 12 tribes are entering after completely spying out the 12 regions. 10 spies reported that they could not enter. Joshua and Caleb reported that they could enter. Why? Because they had seen the 12 regions. Because they had seen them clearly, they were going. This is the difference.

2) The land you tread, I have given to you. More importantly, just like the promise to Moses, it should be “I will give the land you tread,” but it says, “I have given (주었노니).” This is important. We receive answers, but there is something God “has given.”

3) Be strong and courageous. Do not fear. Do not be dismayed. For the Lord your God will be with you. He repeats this about 7 times. “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. Be strong and courageous.” Continually, “Do not be afraid. Do not be dismayed.” He repeats it about 7 times. “Have I not commanded you?” To this extent, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Do not be dismayed.” And what else? “The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” He repeated it about 7 times. Joshua knows this. From this point, the greatest time schedule in history emerges.

“What do you hold firmly to as you go? How do you go?” These are the questions. In the introduction, he saw the three things—he saw Moses, he saw while being a servant, and he saw as he became a leader. What does that mean? It means he grasped a certain and accurate covenant. No matter how difficult it is, if you grasp a certain and accurate covenant, you win.

▣ Main_ What Was Firmly Grasped – A Sure and Accurate Covenant

What did they hold onto as they went? What was it they grasped firmly?

1. The Way of “Only,” restored after 400 years
First. It is the path being restored for the first time in 400 years. This is no ordinary story. It is the path being restored 400 years after going to Egypt. What is it? It is the path of “Only.” There aren’t two paths. They stood in that time schedule. It is amazing. Therefore, as I look at this, I see: “The miracle of the Red Sea is not a miracle. It is natural. Overcoming the wilderness? It’s not a miracle. it is natural. To us, it looks like a miracle, but in God’s eyes, it is nothing.”

When we were young, we saw many times how about 100 ants would gather around a single piece of food and carry it away. When our hand approached, they would all run away, somehow knowing. They drag a lump of rice this big. They probably take it to their warehouse. When we catch them, the ants run away. If I pick up that food and put it over here, those ants will probably say: “A miracle happened! Years’ worth of our food suddenly flew through the air and was placed right at the entrance of our house.” That’s how it looks to an ant.

1) Genesis 3:15 The day the original gospel is restored. In God’s eyes, it is nothing. An amazing thing has happened. The offspring of the woman is not something else. He will crush the serpent’s head. It is the day this original gospel is restored. He will crush the serpent’s head. It is an amazing thing.

2) Genesis 12:1-3 The day the covenant given to Abraham is fulfilled. It is more than that. God spoke to Abraham. “Through you, all nations will be blessed. Leave your country, your people, and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.” He said the same thing. “No one will be able to stand against you. Through you, all nations will be blessed. You will be a source of blessing.” The reason? “Through your offspring, all nations will be blessed.” That is the immense moment that is now being fulfilled.

3) Exodus 3:18 This amazing power is heading toward world evangelization. I told you. “Moses!” These are words no one can understand. Intellectuals and politicians cannot understand these words at all. “Go and offer a blood sacrifice.” Truly, religious people, shamans, or those who have truly suffered—they understand. “Go and offer a blood sacrifice.” This amazing power is now heading toward the land of Canaan for world evangelization.

4) Fundamental Restoration – Save your church, region, and yourself first (24 Prayer, 24 Evangelism). It is restoring the fundamentals. It is restoring the fundamentals of myself, the church, and the nation. For missionaries, what is the most important thing here? It is telling you to go to the land of Canaan. Not just “go to the world.” You must save your church first. You must save your region first. You must save yourself first. That blessing will come upon you. I pray that servants of prayer who do 24 will arise in your church. They will arise. There are people who do 24 evangelism in the field. It will be overturned.

It is the path of “Only,” where there isn’t a second way, restored after 400 years. They stood in that time schedule. I am praying. “God, please establish here a model church where the ‘Three Courtyards’ that have disappeared from the world are restored.”

2. The Way of Uniqueness, where the Word is fulfilled
Second. it is the path that is about to fulfill what was spoken to Moses. What is it? it is the “Unique” path. Not only does it become the path of “Only,” but it is the path of fulfilling the Word, which becomes the path of “Uniqueness.” If we are within that, what would we fear?

1) Slavery: While they were slaves, what happened? He showed the absolute mission.

2) Exodus: When they came out of Egypt, what did He show? He showed God’s absolute salvation.

3) Entering Canaan: Today, what is it? Entering the land of Canaan? It becomes the absolute start of world evangelization. You cannot do world evangelization in another country. What do we mean by saying we will build a temple? It means you cannot do the “Three Courtyards” by renting someone else’s building.

※ On the path you go, there is something that will deceive you surprisingly. Do not be dismayed. For I am with you (verses 5, 9). Look at verse 3 today; this is what God said to Moses. “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Now, why do these words that sound like something to worry about keep coming out? It is guaranteed and given, so why does He keep saying this? “Do not be dismayed.” It is natural, so why keep saying “do not be dismayed”? It means that on the path you walk, you don’t have to be dismayed, but there is something that will deceive you to a surprising extent. Do not be dismayed. Because you are walking such an important path, things will happen to lower your courage. “Be courageous.” Something scary will happen. “Do not be afraid. For I am with you.” To what extent are you placed in this situation? “I will never leave you.” To the point where you might think God has left you, “I will never forsake you. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.”

3. The Way of Re-creation that saves the world – Cross the Jordan.
Third. Cross the Jordan. It is an amazing thing. It is the path of re-creation. The path our missionaries walk is the path of Only, the path of Only that restores, the path of Uniqueness where the Word is fulfilled, and the path of Re-creation that saves the world. Today, looking at the challenge, it says, “Cross the Jordan.” It is a truly amazing word. God gives the accurate word.

1) Re-enacting the victory over Egypt through the 10 miracles: Did He not completely defeat Egypt through the 10 miracles? He is saying He will re-enact that. Why? Because they hadn’t seen it.

2) Making them realize again the parting of the Red Sea according to the Word: And when the Egyptian soldiers came to capture them, the sea was blocked in front, and the soldiers were coming from behind—how could they win? To go in meant death. To look back meant the Egyptian army. What could they do? At that time, Moses was certain. God spoke. “I will lead you to the Red Sea. I will part the Red Sea. I will make my people cross. I will hold a funeral for the Egyptian soldiers.” He said it. That’s why Moses spoke courageously. He is making them realize this again now. Before they enter.

3) Showing the Remnants who had to enter the land of Canaan because they had not seen it: What is more important? There are many who haven’t seen. 40 years have passed, so the people before have died. Most have died of old age. But our young Remnants who now have to enter the land of Canaan have not seen. He is showing them. Therefore, “Cross the Jordan.” He gave a message of challenge for re-creation.

▣ Conclusion

1. You are walking a path already guaranteed (God’s turning point to save the world).
What our missionaries must find is that they are walking a path already guaranteed. You just need to find that.

1) Joseph, who saw God’s turning point to save the world, which was already guaranteed: There were many blood-tears-inducing events, but how did Joseph win? He saw this. Right? Joseph truly had the power of the Holy Spirit. He knew “How should world evangelization be done?” and “Where should world evangelization be done?” But he was dragged away in a state that looked like death and a curse. He did not waver at all. He spoke confidently. “Because Jehovah is with me.” Why? Because he knew.
Missionaries, you must know this as you go. You must be able to see this. You might miss it if you’re not careful. Joseph saw this. How can a person who didn’t commit a crime not even say “I didn’t do it” when someone who did commit a crime says they didn’t? Joseph should have said, “I never did such a thing,” but he was just dragged away. No one could help Joseph. Potiphar’s wife, who had immense power, was framing him; there was no way to win. But he didn’t stay silent because of that. Humans are bound to speak if they feel it’s unfair. He didn’t do it because of that. It was the turning point of God to save the world, already guaranteed. He saw it. You must see this wherever you go. If you cannot see that turning point, that specific point, you will miss it even if you know. You must utilize it at all times.
When you meet darkness, if you say “How can I win this?”, you become discouraged. “Why am I like this?” Some people even ask, “God, why are You doing this to me?” It becomes difficult. There are many, but the 7 Remnants all won like this.

2) David, who grasped the guaranteed covenant and won over continuous problems: Everyone, it’s easier said than done. It is no ordinary thing when soldiers follow you to kill you. David was like that. That’s why David would have had no choice but to waver if he didn’t have this answer. When did he get the answer? The High Priest told him when he was young. “You will be king.” He was anointed. “Prepare to build the temple. The Ark of the Covenant is currently in a place where the wind blows. And make a bartizan of prayer to block the world’s attacks.” He received this covenant, and not only did power come upon him, but problems kept coming. He won over them all. This is the final point our missionaries must take with them. Grasping the guaranteed thing exactly. It is not difficult.

2. The path to grasping what is guaranteed

1) Word – Confirm me: A long time ago, I realized I had become a person who didn’t even need to worship. Of course, I suffered huge losses because of that, but still, I didn’t feel that the Word was alive. I thought about that. “Ah, I am unable to worship.” I only did that, but to me, God makes the Word look completely like a map. It is a path exactly as it is. Confirm it.

2) Prayer – Confirm me: I confirmed it one day. I realized I wasn’t praying. Whether I wasn’t doing it or couldn’t do it, anyway, I discovered myself like that. It’s been since then, and I don’t even know when it was. I am preparing the Word through the power of 24 prayer so accurately. Otherwise, I couldn’t do it at my level.

3) Evangelism – Confirm me: I knew this early on. I realized I had no interest in evangelism, it had nothing to do with me, and it was difficult. If that’s the case, then what Jesus says becomes a lie. It becomes a meaningless sound. I thought about that, but to me, as you know, He poured out the blessings of evangelism. You must confirm it.

4) One Region – Look at the flow of the field that saves. When I entered Yeongdo, I had already realized and entered. One region. I knew God had a flow that saves. When I entered here, I was courageous. You will remember. As soon as I arrived, I had a revival for two weeks. I made hundreds of places where the Word movement takes place. I was confident. I saw the flow of this neighborhood. Tenrikyo is the largest. I went and studied Tenrikyo for three days. I saw that a tremendous number of patients come. Every Friday, I started healing ministry. I started a healing ministry praying in the name of Jesus. Then people started to gather. It became too small, so I rented that prayer retreat center. I rented the prayer retreat center, but the surrounding churches complained, saying “Why do you only rent it to that church?” So the prayer retreat center said “We can’t rent it to you.” Ah, I didn’t even blink… That is the flow. So we went up to the mountain. We went up to the mountain, and it was so cold that I couldn’t help but shout. Like this, I saw the flow of the field.

5) One Nation – 24: While being here one day, as I was doing the evangelism movement, I thought, “If we evangelize like we do, we can’t do world evangelization.” Right? If we do it like this, we are only speaking with our mouths. We only use the term “world evangelization,” but how would it happen? So, without even realizing it, I wondered, “How many nations are there in the whole world?” There are about two hundred and forty-something. But the reason I made it 237 is the 237 nations where communication is possible. In other words, information can be communicated, and even our offerings can be communicated. When I checked, Coca-Cola is in the most places, and it was in 229 nations.
And I realized there are 5,000 tribes even greater than the immense 237 who have never heard the gospel at all. So, ah… after analyzing the nations, I realized, “Ah, I must establish church leaders and entrust one nation to each, and I must entrust them to the Remnants. I shouldn’t just talk; I must truly receive answers. I must establish people who do 24. I must establish people who can communicate through 24.” This is the answer that came.

3. Jesus’ Promise
The Lord clearly promised you, “I will be with you with all authority in heaven and on earth. I will be with you with the power of the Throne.” He gave the filling of the Holy Spirit and said, “I will be with you with truly great power.” A new year has begun. Missionaries, I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus to grasp the covenant firmly and be victorious. I will pray.

Prayer. I give thanks to God. We give thanks for giving us new grace. We believe You will also give new power. We believe You will give new answers. Please grant us the blessing of all being connected to this point. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
