Lord, hear my prayer as I look back,
Upon my past and see my life today.
Would You open my eyes to see
Your plans for me?
Lord, as I hold onto Your covenant,
And pray in faith with Your Word,
Would You give to me the blessing of meeting
In my every step?
O Lord, in the trials help me to see
Your plans for me,
And give thanks unto Your name.
O Lord, pour Your grace into my heart and let it flow,
Let my love be renewed once again.
Let my heart break from within,
As I look out on this world.
Would You show me the only thing they need
Is Your Gospel, Lord?
And for all of my life,
Let my will be tied to Your desire.
Let me raise up the remnant,
To answer their calling.
