Call to Worship
“God is spirit, and
..His worshipers must worship
..In the Spirit and in truth.” — John 4:24
Hymn
Perfect You Are My God
Rose Park
Perfect You are my God
Righteous and Holy
In all of Your ways
Revealing Your glory
In all that You do
All men will worship You
I will worship You
I will praise Your name
For You are the only Lord and King
I will worship You
I will praise Your name
My desire is to honor You Lord
Confession of Faith
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
…Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord,
…Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
…Born of the Virgin Mary,
…Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
…Was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
…And is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy universal Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body
And life everlasting. Amen.
Hymn
Joyful, Joyful, We Adore You
Henry Van Dyke
Joyful, joyful, we adore You,
God of glory, Lord of love;
Hearts unfold like flow’rs before You,
Op’ning to the sun above.
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness;
Drive the dark of doubt away;
Giver of immortal gladness,
Fill us with the light of day!
All Your works with joy surround You,
Earth and heav’n reflect Your rays,
Stars and angels sing around You,
Center of unbroken praise;
Field and forest, vale and mountain,
Flow’ry meadow, flashing sea,
Chanting bird and flowing fountain
Praising You eternally!
Always giving and forgiving,
Ever blessing, ever blest,
Well-spring of the joy of living,
Ocean-depth of happy rest!
Loving Father, Christ our Brother,
Let Your light upon us shine;
Teach us how to love each other,
Lift us to the joy divine.
Mortals, join the mighty chorus,
Which the morning stars began;
God’s own love is reigning o’er us,
Joining people hand in hand.
Ever singing, march we onward,
Victors in the midst of strife;
Joyful music leads us sunward
In the triumph song of life.

Psalm 19
Leader: The heavens declare the glory of God;
People: the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Leader: Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
People: They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Leader: The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
People: The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
Leader: The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
People: The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
Leader: The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
People: The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.
Leader: They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
People: they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the honeycomb.

Glory to Jesus Who Died on the Tree
P. P. Bilhorn
Glory to Jesus who died on the tree,
Paid the great price that my soul might be free;
Now I can sing hallelujah to God,
Glory! He saves, He saves.
Glory! He saves, glory! He saves,
Saves a poor sinner like me;
Glory! He saves, glory! He saves,
Saves a poor sinner like me.
Once in my heart there was sin and despair,
Now the dear Saviour himself dwelleth there,
And from His presence comes peace to my soul,
Glory! He saves, He saves. Refrain
Come then, ye weary, who long to be free,
Come to the Saviour, He waiteth for thee,
Then with the ransom’d this song you can sing,
Glory! He saves, He saves. Refrain
Scripture Reading
Exodus 2:1-10
Carmetta Williams
Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, 2 and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. 3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. 4 His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.
5 Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave to get it. 6 She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said.
7 Then his sister asked Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?”
8 “Yes, go,” she answered. So the girl went and got the baby’s mother. 9 Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you.” So the woman took the baby and nursed him. 10 When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, “I drew him out of the water.”
Message
Moses’s Bartizan
Pastor Ryu Kwang Su
▣ Introduction: Three eyes that see problems and crises (accurate diagnosis)
The descendants of Israel were all about to die. A crisis came upon the whole nation. The eyes of those who see crisis – those who saw that crisis had come and would come gave up, but Jochebed, who saw it not as a crisis but as God’s opportunity, changed the times.
1. As a matter of course – it was the beginning of God making something tremendous out of Israel, who had lost the covenant.
2. Inevitably – Moses, the child of parents who knew worship and the gospel, was about to die. At this time, there was something God wanted to do to me.
3. Absolutely – God’s plan
…1) He knew that the only place where Moses could be saved was the palace of Egypt.
…2) Before sending him to the palace, He plants in Moses the bartizan of the Lord, the bartizan of the throne, and the bartizan of the covenant.
▣ Main: God’s preparation – the bartizan planted in Moses
1. Spiritual Preparation 300%
…1) The bartizan of the gospel – Completely engrave in him the covenant and gospel that overturns darkness. With the bartizan of the gospel, all darkness can be broken.
…2) The bartizan of the covenant and the word that would happen in the future – He planted in Moses the bartizan of the covenant and the word that would happen in the future, to the extent of writing Genesis.
…3) The bartizan of prayer – It is accomplished when prayer ascends to the throne and meets my soul.
2. Preparation of the Future Field 300%
…1) The education received in the palace (40 years) – He received an elite education.
…2) Midian (40 years) – He wrote Genesis, the answer that will never disappear for eternity.
…3) The wilderness (40 years) – Because God’s bartizan was established, he moved the world with a single staff.
▷ Moses’ mother made known to Moses that the most important thing in my life is worship. It became the timetable that saves the world.
3. Evangelism and Missions 300% Completed
…1) “Go and offer the blood sacrifice” – When God called Moses, He spoke what Moses had heard from his mother. This was transformed into world missions.
…2) Through 10 miracles, the entire culture of darkness in Egypt was completely changed.
…3) “I will raise My mighty hand and be with you. Tell them you are going to offer the blood sacrifice.” It was fulfilled exactly as spoken.
▣ Conclusion_ When the word is connected to the soul and the throne, when the word is fulfilled, an unstoppable work occurs.
1. God first planted the bartizan of the covenant in Jochebed.
2. The bartizan of the covenant planted in the young Moses – it absolutely never disappears and is fulfilled. The flow of the word rides along that path.
3. The bartizan of the covenant planted in Joshua and Caleb “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you” – it was never shaken at all.
▷ What we see and what God sees are different. If we only hold onto the covenant, all doors will open. This bartizan must be planted in the Remnant. This blessing must be seen and passed on.

As the Deer Panteth for the Water
Martin Nystrom
As the deer panteth for the water
So my soul longeth after Thee
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship Thee
You alone are my Strength, my Shield
To You alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship Thee.
You’re my Friend and You are my Brother
Even though You are a King
I love You more than any other
So much more than anything
You alone are my Strength, my Shield
To You alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship Thee.
I want You more than gold or silver
Only You can satisfy
You alone are the real joy-giver
And the apple of my eye
You alone are my Strength, my Shield
To You alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart’s desire
And I long to worship Thee.
Prayer
Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
…hallowed be thy name;
…thy kingdom come;
…thy will be done;
…on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
…as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
…but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
…the power and the glory,
…forever and ever.
Amen.

We Will Keep Our Faith Alive!
Don Besig · Nancy Price
Gathered here, within this place,
We can share in God’s redeeming grace.
There’s no room for doubt or fear;
We can feel His presence here.
As we face each passing day,
We will serve and honor and obey;
And if hope should start to dim,
We will know our trust is in Him.
And we will keep our faith alive,
God will always be our guide.
Through the darkest night,
We will see God’s light.
We will keep our faith alive!
We will live as God has planned,
Though at times we may not understand.
Many things we may not see,
But our faith will help us believe.
From His Word we learn the truth;
Through His love we all are born anew.
With His help, we will not fail
For we know our God will prevail. Chorus
Benediction
