How Businesspeople Should Edify RTS
(1 Kings 18:1-15)
Summary
Today we must confirm several important words. Our church leaders and businesspeople, and our RTS members, all have a legitimate secret enabling world evangelization. What did the RTS raised by business people accomplish today? What you must do first is engage in spiritual warfare.
▣ Introduction
There were three things possessed beforehand, so they couldn’t be taken away.
1. Expertise
Obadiah, this church leader and businessperson, possessed expertise. The king trusted him completely. Because he was competent, because the king needed him. No matter how good a person is, they don’t seek out useless people. Bad people especially like useful people.

So, until God’s Word becomes certain to you, keep doing whatever it is, and expertise will emerge.
Morning
RTS members and businesspeople must especially remember this. This must all be accomplished during morning time. You’ll see things others cannot do. Continually praying while doing editing, design, and planning is something others can’t even imagine doing. RTS members especially must never be late or fail to keep time — do that and you should hurry off to heaven. A properly functioning person is fully prepared, having risen early in the morning. That’s what keeps you healthy. If you’re not healthy enough for that, you’re not an elite. When you wake up in the morning, do these two prayers continually. (Example: used car dealer)
RTS members right now don’t actually do the Upper Room network. Do it. If you don’t have time, do it by KakaoTalk, do it online. You can do it no matter how little time you have. What matters is what you actually say. If you’re enjoying this time, people will wait for it. They’ll wait for you. And you don’t need long words. Even a single word can strike deep.
2. Field presence
More important still — the best evangelist in Busan would walk through Gukje Market every day just to watch for evangelism opportunities. Field presence.
3. Future orientation
This is the 3-camp and healing that only you can do.
▷ Obadiah possessed these three things. He completely saw through every field. If you pray, it happens this way. Everyone must receive this blessing. You must be a person capable of running the 3-camp. Do this and you’ll reach 300%. Someone working under an elder must be able to run a business at the 3-camp level

▣ Main
1. 1 Kings 18:1-15
He saw a tremendous opportunity in what seemed like despair. He hid 100 disciples.
1) Absolute impossibility – no one can stop what the king does.
2) God’s absolute plan may be the same or different. God’s absolute plan differs from King Ahab’s.
3) Absolute possibility – he found one, and this was the 100. Numbers don’t matter. You must always enjoy this prayer, and because of you, other people must live, and the church must live.
2. 1 Kings 19:1-21 — the Horeb movement begins.
An even bigger crisis came, but no — God confirmed the whole future here. The word that came out here was “7,000 disciples.”
1) The Mount Carmel incident
An amazing thing happened at Mount Carmel. Obadiah was the key figure who made it happen.
2) The Horeb incident
Next, he went to Horeb. He fled because they tried to kill Elijah. He faced a huge crisis. God sent His angel to comfort and strengthen the fallen Elijah. He walked 40 days and nights to Horeb. There God spoke. “There are still 7,000 more disciples besides you. And I will replace King Ahab. And find the man Elisha.”
3) Renewal
It seemed as though God was giving hardship, but it was actually complete renewal. In fact, all of you sitting here now must see this (the whole message’s) blessing. This must become visible even as we worship tomorrow. This is what it means to truly know how to worship.
3. 2 Kings 6:8-24
The nation of Aram invaded. It was an international crisis. This was clearly an opportunity for world missions. The movement that arose from this was the Dothan movement. Why the nation of Aram? It’s 237-5,000.
1) Winning without fighting
Here we saw what God’s important answer truly is. Because we don’t understand, this God who does world missions made this happen without our fighting the nation of Aram, winning without fighting.
2) Winning the battle in advance
More important still is this — Elisha and his team had already won the battle in advance. No matter the situation, you must be winning through spiritual strength. Because you must win without fighting. This is why the Dothan movement brought history to the whole world. Aram nation refers to and connects with the 237-5,000 tribes.
3) Delivering
And so, even while staying still, this news is delivered throughout the world. It’s God’s plan.
▣ Conclusion
RTS matters because the greatest blessings are found here. RU is used because 237-5,000 tribes are contained within it. School councils (future) — RLS, RGS school councils are now being connected. Because the future is contained within them.

“Spiritual Warfare” (1 Kings 18:1-15)
This is what was accomplished. What you must do first is spiritual warfare.

If you don’t get to that point, you can’t win. All of you, from early morning, continually doing this editing, design, and planning while praying — this is something others can’t even dream of doing. Mostly this is true. So, RTS members might not have this problem, but many Remnants — people who show up late, don’t keep time — should quickly go to heaven. A normal person is fully prepared, having risen early in the morning. That’s what keeps you healthy. If you’re not healthy enough for that, you’re not an elite. Right? So when you wake up in the morning, continually do these two prayers.
I’ve told you before, haven’t I? I know a person who sells cars — earns 100 million won a month. Used cars. That person could only turn out this way, in my view. He wakes at 4 AM. And where does he go? He goes to places where people who are close to that field gather, all over the region. Every day. Golf practice range, soccer practice field, wherever it is, he goes. And he studies this (editing, design, planning) extensively. When he handles a used car, he researches everything — its weaknesses, strengths, accident history, everything — and finds it all out. What’s amazing is he tells the buyer everything. This person completely trusts him. Introduces friends, brings more customers. This person is busy.
People don’t actually do the real thing, they just keep procrastinating. RTS members right now don’t actually do the Upper Room network. Do it. You’re not doing it. If you don’t have time, do it by KakaoTalk, do it online. You can do it no matter how little time you have. What matters is what you actually say. If you’re enjoying this time, people will wait for it. They’ll wait for you, won’t they? And you don’t need long speeches. Even one word strikes them deeply. In my case, I’m busy so I don’t read much text. How could I read something that long — there’s no time. Even a single word must be firmly planted like this. Going forward, when you Remnants run businesses or enterprises, seek out important people. Don’t use long words. CEOs, chairmen get headaches. Show them a single sheet of paper and they should go “huh?” Can’t you do that? It’s because you don’t practice this — morning time.
In the old days, the grandmothers who kept turning over in bed every day — how could things turn out well that way?
2. Field presence
Here’s something more important. One of the best evangelists in Busan was a merchant who walked through Gukje Market every single day. He wouldn’t even eat at restaurants, saying it takes too much time. He’d eat the lunch box his wife packed and walk through Gukje Market every day. I was amazed. He had done business his whole life in Gukje Market and hadn’t realized things he discovered by walking through it every day. And he was watching for potential evangelism targets as he walked.
Next week, Korean RU will gather, and I’ll speak there about this. Field presence. American RU is different from Korean RU. Korean RU is currently modeling something — I’ll explain the scriptural basis next week. Enrollment is open to anyone, but admission is not open to just anyone. There’s specific work to be done with these particular people.
What God truly wants. Field presence. Do you know why doors are opening for me even in island nations? Field presence. This matters. Without field presence, is it possible? Evangelism too —
