O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing

Hymn
O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing
Charles Wesley

O for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer’s praise,
The glories of my God and King,
The triumphs of his grace!

My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
To spread through all the earth abroad
The honors of your name.

Jesus! the name that charms our fears,
That bids our sorrows cease;
‘Tis music in the sinner’s ears,
‘Tis life and health and peace.

He breaks the power of cancelled sin,
He sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean;
His blood availed for me.

To God all glory, praise, and love
Be now and ever given
By saints below and saints above,
The Church in earth and heaven.

Call to Worship

Hymn
I Will Worship You
Seok Jin Oh · Ha Young Yoo

In the Spirit Lord, I will worship You.
And in truth alone I will worship You.
With the gospel of life, I will worship You.
For You are worthy of all glory, Lord.

Father, Son, and Spirit, I will worship You.
With the covenant, I will worship You.
With the blessing of the throne, I will worship You.
Lord, let your power be revealed through my life.

Confession of Faith
The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
And is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy universal Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body
And life everlasting. Amen.

My Savior’s Love
Chas. H. Gabriel

I stand amazed in the presence
Of Jesus the Nazarene,
And wonder how He could love me,
A sinner condemned, unclean.

How marvelous! How wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
How marvelous! How wonderful!
Is my Savior’s love for me!

For me it was in the garden,
He prayed: “Not my will, but Thine.”
He had no tears for His own griefs,
But sweat-drops of blood for mine.  Refrain

In pity angels beheld Him,
And came from the world of light
To strengthen Him in the sorrows
He bore for my soul that night.  Refrain

He took my sins and my sorrows,
He made them His very own;
He bore the burden to Calv’ry,
And suffered, and died alone.  Refrain

When with the ransomed in glory
His face I at last shall see,
’Twill be my joy through the ages
To sing of His love for me.  Refrain

Scripture Reading
Matthew 16:13-20
Pastor Samuel

13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his
disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”

14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”

16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.

▣ Introduction
– Because the conditions for destruction must be removed, do not speak but wait (verse 20).
– Conditions for destruction – They said Jesus was like Jeremiah, Elijah, John the Baptist, or one of the prophets.

1. The 12 bartizans of Satan
1) Trap – self, Nephilim, Tower of Babel
We must see the work of God. If God continually blesses us, my plan is unnecessary. My claim is unnecessary. We must hear the Word of God. We thought we had gained strength, but we were seized by Satan. We worked to the point of death, yet everything collapsed. Even now, this continues. We must come out from “self.”
2) Frame – shamanism, divination, idols
Through these, Satan directly began to destroy mankind.
3) Snare – six destinies
We must come out from that destiny and go to Christ. We must go to the Triune God.

2. We must come out from religion without the gospel.
If a church has no gospel, it is religion. We must come out of religion. We must come out of the grave of incompetence, humanism, and inability to evangelize.

3. We must come out from the antichrist.
The true answer is that I am inside world evangelization. Anything other than Christ is the antichrist. We must come out from the place where we cannot evangelize and can only eat until we die.

▣ Main: Do not tell anyone yet. Why?

1. Because much persecution remains, prepare and wait.
1) The crucifixion of Jesus – Do not be afraid, but prepare the true thing.
2) The persecution of the Jews
3) The persecution of Rome
▷ In all matters and events, we must see God’s answer. That is prayer and the fulfillment of the Word.

2. The true answer remains.
1) Enjoy Christ, the true priest, true prophet, and true king.
(1) True priest – The true priest who removed disasters
(2) True prophet – The way to meet God
(3) True king – The true king who conquered Satan
2) The foretold Christ
(1) Genesis 3:15 – The offspring of the woman; Christ will crush the authority of Satan.
(2) Exodus 3:18 – On the day the blood of the lamb is applied, you will be set free. The movement of life is only possible by life. Satan fears Christ.
(3) Isaiah 7:14 – Immanuel. The church lost hold of this important truth and was taken into captivity.
(4) Matthew 16:16 – Christ. Right before destruction, Jesus asked, and Peter made this confession.
3) The perfection of Christ
(1) Christ before eternity – If you do not understand this, nothing can be solved.
(2) The incarnated Christ – As promised, God came in the body of man to save mankind.
(3) The resurrected Christ – When you pray in His name, works arise.
(4) Christ as the coming Lord – This is our future.
(5) Christ as the Judge – This is eternity (hell and heaven).

3. The true blessing remains.
1) The blessing spoken after Peter’s confession
(1) Rock – “You are the rock. On this rock I will build My church.”
(2) Authority – “The powers of darkness will never overcome you.”
(3) Keys of heaven – “I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.”
2) A tremendous mission remains.
(1) Peter’s mistakes – On the Mount of Transfiguration, he said he would build a house for Elijah, Moses, and Christ.
When Jesus was arrested, he was afraid and denied Him.
(2) However, salvation does not change. To save many, by God’s grace he was saved.
Jesus came to find Peter.
(3) “Do you love Me? Feed My lambs.”
Jesus did not ask anything else, only, “Do you love Me?” When Peter answered yes, Jesus said, “Feed My lambs.” A tremendous mission remains even now.
3) The bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne – the watchman
When the timetable for proclaiming the gospel fully came, “You will establish the bartizan of the throne. You will walk the journey of the throne. You will set up the guideposts of the throne here and there.” Because you are the watchmen who will shine this light and guard your family and nation, Christ Himself promised this.

▣ Conclusion: Do not be deceived
1. Do not be deceived by yourself.
2. Do not be deceived in the face of reality.
3. Do not be deceived by Satan.

Hymn
Jesus Is the Christ!
Jang-hee Lee

One day it came to me
That Jesus is the Christ of God
On that day you showed me
That Jesus is the way, truth, and life

When I believed that I am in Him
And He is within me
All Satan’s power that once controlled my life
Like a wave, rolled away

As long as I have life on earth
I will shout it to the world that Jesus is the Christ
Until I have very last breath
I will tell it everyone that Jesus is the Christ.

Prayer · Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

Hymn
We Will Keep Our Faith Alive!
Don Besig · Nancy Price

Gathered here, within this place,
We can share in God’s redeeming grace.
There’s no room for doubt or fear;
We can feel His presence here.
As we face each passing day,
We will serve and honor and obey;
And if hope should start to dim,
We will know our trust is in Him.

And we will keep our faith alive,
God will always be our guide.
Through the darkest night,
We will see God’s light.
We will keep our faith alive!

We will live as God has planned,
Though at times we may not understand.
Many things we may not see,
But our faith will help us believe.
From His Word we learn the truth;
Through His love we all are born anew.
With His help, we will not fail
For we know our God will prevail.  Chorus

Benediction

The Things of the World and the Things of God, the Things of the Flesh and the Things of the Spirit

Scripture Reading: Colossians 2:20-23

▣ Introduction

Thank you. In the past, because life was so hard, there is little that I feel nostalgic about. But when I hear Christmas carols, I feel a longing. I find myself wanting to go back to those days. For this I give thanks to God.

Why must we do missions? Because people do not understand this well, some pass over it indifferently. But Paul staked his very life on it. This is the blessing that you must also receive this week and for the remainder of this year.

Disasters – Colony, Law, Destruction, Church

Wherever Paul’s team went, disasters collapsed. What disasters? At that time, Israel was a colony of Rome, and they were perishing. Spiritually, everyone was dying. On top of this, Judaism, with no gospel at all, crushed people with the law. And it did not stop there: within a few years, Israel itself would be destroyed. In this situation, Paul’s team prepared disciples for the entire world. Wherever they went, the world’s disasters fell. You must believe that disasters collapse through your prayers. If you do not believe, 1 John 4:18–19 says that punishment follows. There is no greater sin than not believing this. Wherever you go, the work of disasters collapsing will surely arise.

In today’s passage, what was even more fearful? The church was engaging in strange things. Verse 20 says, “Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules?” Things like this: “Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch” (v. 21). All these things will perish, and there is no need to follow human commands and teachings. Whether then or now, it is the same. At the end of verse 23 it says, “They lack any value.”

We are offering this dedication service for the 237 Missions Committee. Today I will speak on this.

「Only the Gospel, Only Prayer, Only Evangelism」

(The things of the world – The things of God, the things belonging to the flesh – The things belonging to the Spirit)

Why is it not just “the gospel” but “only the gospel”? Because Satan knows. Why are we not just prayer, but only prayer? Why not just evangelism, but only evangelism? Because all the forces of darkness collapse through these.

Today’s passage reveals the difference between the things of the world and the things of God, the things belonging to the flesh and the things belonging to the Spirit. The world is not the object of curses but what must be saved. The things of the world and the things of God are different. Many people live only for what belongs to the flesh. We must live for what belongs to the Spirit.

So why must we do world missions for the rest of the year? Because wherever Paul’s team proclaimed the name of Christ, disasters collapsed. You must know why.

▣ Main Point

1. The 7 Bartizans

In verse 23 it says, “They lack any value.” We must quickly plant the 7 bartizans.

[1, 3, 8] The 7 bartizans come from Christ, the kingdom of God, and only the Holy Spirit. You already know this. Plant them quickly.

1. Matthew 12:26–30; 2 Corinthians 10:4–5 – We must break down Satan’s bartizans. There is nothing more important. Build the bartizan of the throne and destroy the strongholds of Satan.
2. Imprint (40 days) – Imprint this completely. That is why they prayed for 40 days. Because you already have the answer, simply pray this and disasters will flee. No matter how much you try, they will not flee otherwise. Only Christ, only the kingdom of God, only the Holy Spirit.
3. Apostles – In today’s text, Paul explained how even the apostles interfered with the gospel. They did not know what the gospel was, what the law was, or what disasters were. They followed Paul around and told people, “You must be circumcised,” “You must keep Jewish law.” Such nonsense. This is why Israel completely collapsed.

This week, as you pray, may all disasters around you collapse. That is missions.

2. The 7 Journeys

What is missions? It is planting the bartizan and making people walk the 7 journeys.

[The Three Feasts] The starting point is the feasts. Passover—salvation. Pentecost—the power of God. Tabernacles—the background of the throne. This is the journey. As you walk this journey, all the forces of darkness collapse.

You know the 7 journeys.

1. Root – These truths must take root in you.
2. Healing – As the background of the throne takes root, healing arises for many people.

This is missions: the salvation of souls, and the blocking of disasters in the world. That is why the name of Christ is enough, because He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” Even when it looks like you are failing, you will not fail but will conquer the world.

See the evidence: they reached Rome, though they had no power. Believe it. God transforms you through the 7 bartizans. God transforms the field through the journey of the throne. That is why missions blocks disasters and shines the light in the darkness.

3. The 7 Guideposts

Missions means leaving the footprints of Christ—the 7 guideposts.

[Footprints] What footprints do we leave?

1. 300% – From now on, you will receive the footprints of 300% answers.
2. Regions – The 7 regions: Mount Calvary, Mount Olive, Mark’s Upper Room, Antioch, Asia, Macedonia, Rome. These regions encompassed the entire world.
3. Absolute Revival – When the guideposts of the throne were set, absolute bartizans rose and absolute revival began.

So we must receive answers and go into missions. Churches hearing the gospel today must hold onto the covenant, experience revival, and do world evangelization. If you say, “I have no prayer answers,” then you must change. You cannot change God, so you must change yourself. Find the blessings that will allow you to do world missions. That is evangelism and missions. Missions blocks disasters and shines the light in the darkness.

▣ Conclusion

Do not just leave today without receiving something.

1. Mission (Answer) – When you finish hearing the message, confirm: What mission did God give me today? Through the first and second service, what is today’s answer? Confirm it. Otherwise, why attend worship? Every Sunday, ask: “What did God prepare for me today?” There is always something.
2. The Week (Message) – Carry it with you and pray with it for the week. Then all other gatherings and messages will connect. The work of God begins. Where you go, diseases will flee. The powers of Satan will be bound.
3. The Flow of Answers – Then you will begin to see the flow of answers. Joseph knew clearly when he went as a slave that he was going for world missions. That was enough. Moses did not realize until age 80 that he was sent for missions, but when God appeared and said, “Offer the blood sacrifice,” that was everything. “Go to shine the light that conquers disasters. I will raise My mighty hand and be with you.” That answer is mine, and it is yours.

Samuel and David realized this flow early. That is why we are doing the remnant movement. Samuel, from childhood, let none of his words fall to the ground. David held the covenant from youth and said, “From that day on, the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon me.” If you know, it is fine whatever happens.

Think of movies: when the main character is near death at the beginning, I never worry. I know, “He won’t die. If he dies, there is no movie.” If he does die, that is the last scene. Likewise, you will not die until you finish your mission. Know this. Even if hardships and persecution come, we must do world evangelization.

This week, as the year ends, may all disasters collapse through your prayers. May you be the main figures of the 237 missions movement and world evangelization. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer. Father God, we thank You. Break down the darkness. May the disasters that no one else can solve collapse in the name of Christ. Make us the 237 missions movement that shines only the light of Christ to nations perishing in destruction. Raise us to save the 5000 tribes who have collapsed. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

How Can You Experience God?

John 1:12. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

Mankind was created as a spiritual being to live in fellowship with God. Our true purpose, joy, and peace are found only in Him. This is why meeting God is the solution to every problem in life.

The Creator God became man to be with those He created. The moment anyone receives and believes Jesus as the Christ, God gives them the right to become His child (John 1:12). Their identity changes instantly—from being a child of the devil to a child of God (John 3:2). This transformation does not come by human effort, desire, or decision, but by being born of God Himself (John 1:13).

God’s choice and plan for His children existed even before creation. Before anyone had done right or wrong, He chose us in Christ (Ephesians 1:4). Even before Adam and Eve fell into sin and came under the curse of Satan, death, and hell, God already knew you and called your name while you were still in your mother’s womb (Isaiah 49:1). That is why you never need to fear or worry—your position in Christ is eternally secure.

Through the cross, all of your past, present, and future problems have already been settled (Ephesians 2:1-6). You no longer live under the law or the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16-18). The good work God began in you will continue until the day Christ returns (Philippians 1:6). Thus, nothing is more urgent or necessary in life than meeting the living God.

If you believe in Jesus as the Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells in you (1 Corinthians 3:16). You have become His temple, a dwelling place set apart for Him. Nothing can destroy you, for you have been set free from the law of sin and death by the law of the Spirit of life (Romans 8:2). God has given you a spirit not of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). You are no longer bound to live by your feelings but by the eternal promises of God’s Word.

Abandon your own thoughts and ways. Let go of selfish motives and throw off legalism. The eternal light of God has been restored in you (Genesis 1:3; John 1:9). Chaos, emptiness, and darkness no longer define your life (Genesis 1:2). You now live with the assurance that Christ lives in you (Galatians 2:20). By faith, trust in Him daily as your Master—the One who loved you more than anyone and gave Himself for your salvation.

One of the greatest privileges you have in Christ is the guidance of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17). God has poured His love into your heart through the Spirit (Romans 5:5). The Spirit of God knows you fully and leads you on paths you have never walked before. He reminds you of the Word of God, rooting it deeply in your heart so that you may know His will, which is good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2).

When you feel weak and do not know how to pray, the Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for you with groans too deep for words. The Father who knows your heart understands the Spirit’s prayer, for He always prays in line with God’s perfect will (Romans 8:26-27). That is why you can walk through the darkest valleys with peace, knowing that the Lord is with you to renew your strength and guide your steps (Psalm 23:3). He will lead you through waters and fire, and nothing will overcome you (Isaiah 43:2).

The Spirit of God empowers you with unstoppable strength. Like wind and fire, His presence fills you with courage, removes your weakness, and equips you with wisdom the world cannot comprehend (Acts 2:1-13; Acts 4:13). When you ask God for wisdom, He gives it generously without finding fault (James 1:6).

God made you a child of light (John 12:36). Walk as a child of light (Ephesians 5:8). He made you the light of the world (Matthew 5:14), so that through your life, others may see the light of the gospel. As you continue to experience His presence and power, you will stand as a spiritual summit, bringing life and salvation to those around you.

Prayer. Father, I thank You for being with me, guiding me, and empowering me through Your Spirit. May Your presence be real in my life every day, so that those around me may see the light of the gospel through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reality, Fact, Truth, Spiritual Reality

Prayer Journal: September 12, 2025
December 15, 2024 Immanuel Church Sunday Worship First Service
Scripture Reading: Colossians 2:16-19

▣ Introduction

Thank you. Right now, because the pastor is away, there are many churches worshiping with us by video. There are also churches where, even when the pastor is present, they join together as one community for the first service.
※ You must ask what God has prepared for me today and go home holding the covenant you will pray with for the week.

When you come to church, you should ask, “What has God prepared for me today?” At first you may not see it, but it will become clear. Then you should take this with you for the week: “What covenant will I hold and pray with?” Since you can’t memorize the whole sermon, this is what you must do. If this becomes imprinted, it becomes a bartizan.

There are many similarities between Korea and Israel. First, both are about “70% mountains.” Both “like white clothing.” Also, both have been “male-centered and firstborn-centered.” Among these similarities is a difficult common trait: we do not know how to wait. That is why the Israelites went crazy wandering forty years in the wilderness and died there. Christ came, but they could not wait three years and made a mistake. Koreans also tend to be impatient. That’s why the phrase we use the most is “quickly, quickly.” Even abroad, people doing business with Koreans all know “quickly, quickly.” When I went to the Philippines, I even saw a boat at the beach with “빨리빨리 (quickly, quickly)” written on it in Korean. This causes us to miss many things.

There is something you must take with you today—especially our remnants must remember this. On June 25, 1950, war broke out in our country. In terms of visible reality, North Korea secretly pushed down at dawn on Sunday. That was the reality. But in fact, that is not the whole story. The truth lay elsewhere: we were swept into the strategic power struggle of the great nations. The Soviet Union pushed it, so they got dragged into coming south. There is an even greater truth. What is it? It was an ideological war. Therefore we must open our eyes to the spiritual reality. When we chase only what is urgent, we miss everything that matters.

As you know, Joan of Arc—the young girl who saved France—was burned at the stake. Why? The true story lies behind the surface. When a sixteen-year-old girl said she would go to war, people didn’t believe her. But there was one person who did. That person backed Joan of Arc and said, “Go,” and with that backing he became king. Once he became king, he fought with the one who would otherwise have become king. That is the real story: behind reality there is a more fearful hidden fact. And behind that, the truth emerged: English bishops sentenced Joan of Arc to death. Why? France and England were at war, and England lost—to Joan of Arc. That is the truth. So they issued the sentence of burning at the stake. The English bishops handed down the sentence. The girl pleaded, “Let me be tried in the ecclesiastical court where the Roman emperor sits,” but they refused. You must open your eyes to such layers; that is how the seven remnants won everything.

1. Reality – The Jews branded the early church that had the gospel as heretical.
The Jews branded the Christian gospel and the early church as a heresy. That is the visible reality.

2. Fact – Jews trapped in legalism
But the more important fact is different. The Jews were bound by legalism. Whether the early church was at fault or not didn’t matter—they hated it because they did not understand the gospel. “How can you be saved by faith? You are saved by works.” On that “fact,” they kept fighting. And because they had power, they pushed it through.

3. Truth – Lacking any spiritual power, the Jews made rash, fleshly judgments and caused disasters
The deeper truth is this: the Jews had no spiritual power. So they made hasty, fleshly judgments and caused disasters.

4. A covenant chosen well once brings a 100-year answer.
Remnants must go into this world where reality, fact, and truth are all entangled with schemes. If you look carefully at the Bible and history, a covenant chosen well once brings a 100-year answer. May that answer be upon you.

▣ Main Point – Eyes to see reality, fact, truth, and the spiritual reality

1. Do not be deceived by man-made reality; win with the platforms God gave (vv. 16, 18) – 10 Platforms
So then, our saints—and especially our remnants—need eyes to see reality. Reality, according to verse 16, is what people fabricate. In today’s passage, the Israelites were fixated on eating, drinking, what they saw, and fleshly thinking. In verse 18, all of this is called vanity. What pained Paul most was not persecution. What he feared most was not persecution. It was the so-called apostles inside the church who kept spreading something that was not the gospel. So he pleads: do not be tested over worthless things like eating and drinking. Don’t be deceived by staged displays of piety—people acting as if they believe well. Don’t talk merely according to what you saw, according to the flesh, according to your thoughts. That is what the text warns against. Today’s “reality” is something people have just put together.

1) God’s absolute sovereignty – Believe it. When you hold the covenant, the 100-year answer comes.
We must believe in God’s absolute sovereignty. When you hold the covenant, a 100-year answer comes. I am a witness of this—not of skill, but of experiencing God’s covenant. Who governs our life and death and blessings? God does. Even the life of the person who refuses to believe in God—God calls it back.

2) Christ – Because we could not solve our original sin, God sent Christ.
Because we cannot resolve our original sin, God sent Christ. It is God’s method.

3) The Holy Spirit – Because we cannot save ourselves or the world, He promised the Holy Spirit.
We cannot save the world. We cannot even save ourselves. Therefore He promised the Holy Spirit. Believe this.

4) God’s Word – He gave us a sure guarantee.
He gave us a sure guarantee: God’s Word.

5) God’s temple – God’s Spirit dwells in you.
He promised: “You are God’s temple,” because “God’s Spirit dwells in you. Do not worry.”

6) Where I am is the mission field – I will be with you everywhere you are.
“I will be with you wherever you are. That place is your mission field.” No matter how hard your place is, it is your mission field.

7) The Lord of life and death and blessings – God knows everything about me.
“God knows your sitting down and your rising up.” How amazing is that?

8) A time-limited life – Humans leave this earth once.
“Every human will leave this earth once.”

9) The afterlife
“And there is an afterlife. Do not worry.”

10) The evangelist’s reward – Those who proclaim the gospel will not lose their reward, not even for a cup of cold water.
“The one who proclaims this gospel will not lose the reward, not even for a cup of cold water.”

What did I just explain? I explained the 10 platforms. Believe them. Whenever it is hard, hold to God’s absolute sovereignty and the 100-year answer will come. Do not be shaken. Even when difficulties seem to come, hold the covenant of God’s absolute sovereignty.

2. Before the “facts” people speak from their own position, hold God’s absolute plan (v. 18) – 10 Secrets
Reality is like that—but we cannot live by it. There is something more important than reality: the fact behind it. The latter part of verse 18 says, “People act according to their own thoughts and will; they live according to the flesh and fleshly thinking, not realizing it is vanity.” That is the fact. People always speak from their own position. What must you do today? Hold to God’s absolute plan. Are you facing great trouble? Believe in God’s absolute sovereignty and watch what happens. People speak from their position; we must hold firmly to God’s absolute plan.

1) Independence – You will survive alone because I am with you.
God promised, “Wherever you go, I am with you.” You will survive—even alone.

2) Spiritual reality – I will deliver My plan to you wherever you go.
Wherever you go, God will deliver His plan to you.

3) Reverse thinking – The answer is on the opposite side.
The answer lies on the opposite side, in the unexpected place, in what has been hidden.

4) Synergy – Because of you, many will come to life.
Because of you, many people will live.

5) Crisis – Do not fear; go into it.
Do not fear the crisis; go into it.

6) No competition – I will make it so that no one can overcome you.
“I will make it so that none can defeat you.” This is God’s promise.

7) I will give you the power of re-creation.

8) I will make you a summit.

9) Go to the nobodies, to the wasteland.

10) I will make My absolute plan known to you.

Believe this. These are the 10 secrets. I always practice this in prayer. Your confession of faith—aligning your words with God’s Word—is extremely important. When I open my eyes in the morning, I do not simply get up. If you are older, do not just spring up with your back. I lift my legs and “jump” up lightly. And I say, “God, be glorified today.” From that moment, prayer begins together with breathing. I look in the mirror and say, “You are a child of God. You are an evangelist. You must do world evangelization.” Speaking this way becomes a great answer to me.

3. Before the truth that exposes human limits, hold God’s absolute covenant (v. 16) – Christ
Then we go one step further and face truth—and truth can feel even harder. What do you see? You see the limits of man. At best, verse 16 shows people concerned only with eating and drinking. At that time you must hold God’s absolute covenant. What is that covenant? Christ. You understand? It is the absolute covenant.

1) Genesis 3:15 – The woman’s offspring will crush the serpent’s head.
Even when you feel pressed on every side, believe: “The offspring of the woman will crush the serpent’s head.” When you say “Amen,” the darkness is broken.

2) Genesis 6:14 – Whoever enters the ark will live.
There are no conditions: whoever enters the ark lives.

3) Exodus 3:18 – On the day the lamb’s blood was applied, they came out freed from Satan, curses, and spiritual problems.
“Moses, take My people and offer the sacrifice of blood.” This is the absolute covenant. Nothing else is. Why? Pharaoh could not understand it. He resisted to the end, but on the day the lamb’s blood was applied, Israel came out. On the day the blood was applied, the darkness was broken. Believe this.

※ Because original sin does not disappear, God sent Christ.
The Jews did not understand this. They did not even understand original sin versus personal sins. Personal sins can be restrained even without believing in Jesus—simply by not committing them. A thief does not need to believe in Jesus to stop stealing; then the personal sin stops. But original sin does not disappear. Therefore God sent Christ. On the day you apply the blood, you come out—free from Satan, from curses, from spiritual problems.

4) Isaiah 7:14 – During captivity, the Immanuel promise.
Even when they still would not listen and went into captivity again, God said, “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son and will call Him Immanuel.” Hold firmly to this.

5) If you become imprinted with Christ, it is finished; if you take root in the journey of Christ’s throne, you succeed; if you set up the guideposts of Christ’s throne, revival breaks out – Satan tries to block this.
Why do we keep losing hold of it? Because Satan knows how to destroy you. If you are imprinted with Christ, it is finished. If you take root in the journey of the throne of Christ, you succeed. If you set up the guideposts of the throne of Christ, true revival breaks out—in business, in work, and in the church. Satan tries to block precisely this.

4. Seeing the spiritual reality that everyone is trapped in spiritual problems, God will make you walk the absolute journey where He is with you and makes you grow (v. 19) – The bartizan of the throne, the journey, the guidepost
Finally, remember this: God has made you see spiritual reality. Everyone is trapped in spiritual problems. In the latter part of verse 19 it says, “God will make you grow.” This is crucial: “God will be with you and make you grow.” People’s words can comfort, but God saying, “I will make you grow,” defines the absolute journey. Hold this firmly.

1) God will set up within you the bartizan of the throne that collapses the darkness.
From then on, God will set up within you the bartizan of the throne that brings down the darkness. How is disease healed? Replace the toxins that have entered. This is extremely important. That is why I have urged you to keep long breathing. God replaces the bartizan of Satan’s darkness within us. This is the absolute covenant. It is not difficult at all—change it by prayer.

2) The journey of the throne – If you do 24, you will see 25. If you reach eternity, the world changes.
One day, as you are praying—if you continue in 24—you will see 25. Remnants, even if you truly pray just five minutes in the morning, works will arise. Busy saints, do not worry: if you simply worship properly on Sunday, hold the covenant, and pray, works will arise. If you go on to 24, 25, and eternity, then truly the world changes.

3) Wherever you go, He will set up the guideposts of the throne and bring revival—because we must do world evangelization.
Wherever you go, God will set up guideposts of the throne, and that brings true revival. God gave Isaac a 100-year blessing—because He had to accomplish world evangelization. He blessed Paul’s team with eternal things—because He had to accomplish world evangelization.

Hold this today: before reality, win with the platforms God gives. You cannot defeat all the “facts” of the world—so win with the secrets God gives. When you truly see the truth, we realize we have no hope in ourselves; so take the absolute covenant God gives—Christ. From then on, walk the journey Christ gives: bartizan, journey, guidepost. Simply keep it as 24. Do not worry, do not try to fix everything yourself—just keep 24. One day, God’s kingdom comes—that is 25. And one day, you see what no one else could do—eternity. This is called challenge. This is re-creation.

▣ Conclusion – Change Your Thinking.

Remnants, remember this: starting today, in prayer—this is important—change your thinking. Change it.

One day I changed my thought: “We are so poor.” I changed it to, “I don’t have money now, but I am not poor.” As a child I said, “I don’t have money, but that doesn’t mean I am poor,” and then I began to see the field and received so much grace.

Another day I changed my thought: “It’s okay whether I am healthy or not. If I am healthy, I will preach the gospel; if I am not, I will simply go.” I changed it. From then on, I was never truly ill—though it would have been okay even if I had been.

1. Only the gospel – Because everything is contained in it
Change your thinking to only the gospel. Why? Because everything is in it. If you cannot understand this, you are not a Christian.

2. Only prayer – If you don’t know this, you do not understand the spiritual world
Only prayer. If you don’t know this, you don’t know the spiritual world.

3. Only evangelism (witness) – If you don’t know this, you don’t understand the world
Only being a witness, only evangelism. If you don’t know this, you don’t understand the world—so how will you live?

※ Even when you face a hard world, do not be mistaken; you must have eyes to see reality, fact, truth, in order to see the spiritual reality.
Remnants, do not be shaken. Even when you meet a difficult world, do not be mistaken. You must have eyes to see reality, fact, and truth—then you will see the spiritual reality.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that very important answers will overflow to you this week.

Prayer. Father God, we thank You. Make this a new week in which we gain spiritual strength. Make this a new week in which we receive new grace. For the saints suffering hardships, grant them Your strength. For those suffering because of people or circumstances, comfort them. Heal the sick. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Re-Creation and the Answer of 25

2023.08.20 District Message
Scripture Reading: Acts 1:8

When we compare our childhood with today, there are many differences. However, the principle remains the same. Things keep developing, so naturally, there are differences, but the principles have not changed. For example, there were exams back then and exams now — that has not changed. Today’s remnants cannot even imagine it, but when I was young, exam papers weren’t printed as they are now; they were made with mimeograph machines. Because they were copied with mimeograph ink, the letters were never perfectly clear. Sometimes words showed up, and sometimes they didn’t. That was the technological level of Korea back then. Since the ink used for mimeographing soaked through, you couldn’t print on both sides of the paper.

Later, when I repented, set my heart right, and started attending church properly, I noticed there was no church bulletin. I wanted to make one, but it wasn’t easy. So I began studying how to make it better. I researched how to print clearly on both sides. Eventually, I found that printing shops had machines that could handle double-sided printing. So I learned it and, for several years, I personally made all the church bulletins. The church appreciated it because suddenly we had properly printed bulletins. It might sound simple — writing the content, copying it, and carefully printing both sides — but it was actually a lot of work.

Then suddenly, I was drafted into the army. In the military, it’s not easy to avoid field training and be assigned to headquarters, because there are many soldiers more qualified than I was. Yet, surprisingly, they called for me to come to the administrative office. There were many high-ranking officers, including the commanding officer. My job involved preparing reports and documents, but the papers made with their mimeograph machine were a complete mess. Since I had been making church bulletins for years, I cleaned up their process and prepared perfect reports. When they saw the new quality, the entire administrative office was shocked — even the commanding officer. It wasn’t really anything extraordinary, just clean documents, but when the reports reached the headquarters, even the top staff reacted with surprise. Something so small had such a great impact.

This is why I share this story: re-creation. I didn’t create anything new; I simply found a better way using what already existed. That’s re-creation — and it leads to the 25 answers. Today, foreigners are coming into Korea in great numbers, and this will only increase. Although Korea is a little late, the government is now introducing policies to help foreigners study, work, and settle here successfully. But I believe it will still be difficult for many of them to live comfortably in Korea — especially since even most churches have no proper measures in place. That’s why our church must prepare well. This is part of restoring the three courtyards, and especially for our foreign members, this is where you must discover the blessing of re-creation and the 25 answers.

Five Strengths
You must discover this blessing through the five strengths. In some ways, this is simple. If you can identify what people truly need most, it becomes much easier. You’ll find it everywhere, often in unexpected places. Personally, I discovered how to turn this into the blessing of re-creation. Wherever I went, I didn’t accomplish something huge; I simply found what was most necessary and met that need — and God’s works arose. I believe the same applies in companies, churches, and anywhere else.

When I became an evangelist, I was assigned to serve in a very prestigious church. The church was well-known, but in reality, there was so much work to do. For example, their membership registry was completely unorganized. So the first thing I did was to clean up the registry, because I needed to know the members in order to evangelize effectively. While doing this, I discovered hundreds of potential evangelism contacts hidden in the records. It may seem like a small thing, but it created a big impact. People began calling me, saying things like, “I was so discouraged, but I got a phone call from the new evangelist and I feel so thankful!” Something so small created great spiritual fruit.

I once met a foreign member who wrote this during a counseling session: “When I was in Seoul, the church treated me very well, but after moving to Busan, I feel disconnected.” This shows how important small details are. We often think we need to achieve something big, but the greatest answers are hidden in small things. Of course, we must attempt big works, but the secret is in taking care of the small needs. Most multiethnic members and many people in general are not looking for grand gestures — they are burdened by small inconveniences and personal difficulties. When those are resolved, the door to evangelism opens.

Necessity
Especially for you and for our multiethnic members, once you develop these five strengths and become a person who meets what is most necessary, you will have victory anywhere. Why was Joseph appointed as prime minister? Because he was needed. Why was Obadiah, who didn’t obey the king’s orders, spared instead of being executed? Because he was needed. Why did God choose to use the Galilean disciples? Because they were needed. God does not use those who are unnecessary. Become someone God needs by holding onto the covenant.

I call this the answer of re-creation. We are not here to compete. Of course, competition exists, but our goal is not rivalry; it is re-creation. We should strive to do our best, but our greatest focus is on discovering the values worth giving our lives for. The world teaches us to fight and seize opportunities, and while there is some truth to that, our greater calling is to save others. That is re-creation. Even if you think you lack ability, there is someone who needs you. Someone who may not excel in studies may still be needed greatly. Conversely, someone highly educated may not be needed at all. What matters is not your abilities or possessions, but whether you discover where God has placed your necessity. No matter where you go, there is always someone who needs what God has placed inside you.

Before coming here, I served as an associate pastor in a church where conflict was constant. Elders would come to church ready to argue, even preparing topics to fight over during early morning prayer! Naturally, the church struggled. Even when new believers came, no one paid attention to them because everyone was too busy fighting. It was tragic because many of these members had recently accepted Christ. Among them was a missionary named Son Se-man, whom I often praise. He had returned from abroad and quietly sat in the congregation one Sunday. I was leading a small group Bible study, and I noticed him paying close attention. That day, a new believer sat in the front, desperate to learn but didn’t even know how to find Bible passages. Within five minutes, Son moved over, helped him locate verses, explained them, and befriended him. After service, he continued sitting under a tree outside, spending the entire day teaching and helping him. That one day was more impactful than attending church for an entire year.

Receiving God’s answers and blessings is not difficult. Why? Because they are hidden in small things. But small things are actually the greatest things. Many tragedies happen because small things are ignored. Seventeen foreign workers died at their workplace simply because no one addressed minor safety concerns. Before the Seongsu Bridge collapsed, warnings about cracks were ignored. Before the Sampoong Department Store disaster, people reported structural weaknesses, but officials dismissed them. Even in recent floods, people warned multiple times about overflowing water levels, but nothing was done. These events remind us: re-creation is not inventing something new; it is discovering what God has already prepared for us.

▣ Introduction — 2 Corinthians 5:17

We are a new creation. We were once destined to perish, yet God has re-created us. We were under curses, bound to die in sin and disease, but God re-created us through Christ. We were unworthy of salvation, but God saved us anyway. That means unimaginable blessings are already hidden within us — but many do not realize it.

▣ Main Point

1. Freedom from the Old

First, re-creation means being set free from the old. It means escaping from the past. What is the old? The traps revealed in Genesis 3, 6, and 11 — Satan’s greatest snares. Re-creation begins when we are freed from these traps.

2. Power of the Throne

Second, re-creation means the power of the throne comes upon us. Where does this power work?
1) Genesis 1:27 — In your life.
2) Genesis 2:7 — In your spirit.
3) Genesis 2:1-18 — In your entire living environment.

This blessing is astonishing. Yet many waste their time focusing on negativity, criticizing others instead of giving life. Re-creation means God’s power begins working inside you.

3. Answers

How does this happen?

1) Only (1•3•8)

Re-creation comes when you hold onto only Christ, only God’s kingdom, and only the Holy Spirit. Especially for our foreign missionaries, this is the most important blessing.

2) Uniqueness

When you receive this, you’ll experience the answer of uniqueness.

3) Re-Creation

Finally, the most necessary answer comes: re-creation itself. You must remember this always.

No matter where you are, this applies. One man moved into a messy, neglected neighborhood. Quietly, without telling anyone, he woke up early every morning to clean the streets. Eventually, the entire neighborhood was touched and transformed. Another example is “Sheeb,” a janitor at the largest steel company in the U.S. He cleaned so diligently that people thought the factory had been rebuilt. He kept getting promoted, not because of special skills, but because everyone loved having him there. Eventually, he became the personal secretary to the company president, and later, he was even entrusted with ownership. Why? Because, as the president said, “If I need technical experts, I’ll hire them. But the God inside you is what this company needs.”

Do not be discouraged. Wherever you go, God has prepared blessings of re-creation for you to uncover.

▣ Conclusion — Prayer

Through prayer, we enjoy the answers of re-creation. Open your spiritual eyes. Even if you work under someone else’s authority, live in a way where the company thrives because of you, not perishes because of you. Wherever the Immanuel family goes, life must arise. Wherever remnants go, healing and restoration must take place. That is God’s will. If, instead, your workplace or ministry weakens because of you, something is wrong.

These blessings are always hidden in advance. I once visited a church that had been stagnant for years. Nothing was happening. Instead of giving long lectures, I quietly found a handful of committed members and began evangelizing with them daily. Within months, revival broke out. Even the elders were amazed, saying, “I don’t know what’s happening, but our church is suddenly growing!” God’s works arise naturally when we uncover His prepared blessings.

Final Steps for Re-Creation

1. Organize the Word
Hold firmly to the Word and organize it daily. From there, true clarity comes.

2. Organize Prayer
When the Word is organized, prayer naturally aligns, and guidance begins to flow.

3. Organize Your Life
At that point, God’s blessings of re-creation begin to organize your life completely.

4. Build the System
This is where the system of only, uniqueness, and re-creation is established. Then God’s works naturally follow.

5. 237 • Healing • Summit
Finally, the doors open for the blessings of the 237 nations, healing, and becoming the summit. At first, it may seem like a dream, but as you walk in this covenant, you will see it fulfilled.

I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to discover the blessing of re-creation and the 25 answers this week.

Prayer. Father God, we thank You. Allow all of Your people across Korea and the world to restore the blessings of re-creation You have prepared for them. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Church and Temple That Do Not Fall into Empty Deception

Prayer Journal: September 11, 2025
December 8, 2024 Immanuel Church Sunday Worship 2nd Service
Scripture Reading: Colossians 2:6-15

Moses repeatedly said one thing to Joshua: “Do not fear. Be strong. Do not be dismayed.” He kept saying these words again and again. The early church and even Paul also said, “Do not worry.” Why was this emphasized so much? Today’s passage reveals the reason: it warns us against empty deception. In verse 8, the Scripture explains this in detail. Therefore, we must build a church and a temple that do not fall into empty deception. Is the church the same as the temple? They can be the same, but they are not always identical. You are the church, but the building where we gather to worship is the temple.

▣ Introduction

The reality is that 99.9% of people are being deceived and falling. In today’s passage, it speaks of “empty deception.” That’s 99.9%.

1. Evidence

There is undeniable evidence of this deception.

1) Genesis 3, 6, 11

Throughout history, among many powerful nations, this same pattern has always existed. This is what is destroying people even today. It is the trap Satan set from the beginning. People thought they could become like God, but instead, they became Nephilim. They said, “Let us build,” and they exerted their strength, but the result was the Tower of Babel. This is why in your walk of faith, what matters is not simply whether you receive answers or not. You must clearly understand these spiritual problems first.

2) Acts 13, 16, 19

When people fail to find true answers, they inevitably fall into idols, superstitions, and religion. These things become frameworks that completely enslave them.

3) John 8:44

That’s why, starting from John 8:44, it explains that people are trapped in six snares, beginning with “your father, the devil.”

2. Witnesses

For this reason, at every critical moment in history, God raised up witnesses.

1. Evidence (Empty Toil)

What is the evidence? It is all empty toil. We must avoid this at all costs. The church must not waste its energy on meaningless toil.

2. Witnesses

1) Disasters – Remnant Economy

If you study the Bible carefully, you will see that every time an age of disaster came, God always raised up the remnants. And what did the remnants do? They restored the remnant economy. Everywhere the remnants went, kings were revived, and through them, the 237 nations and 5000 tribes were revived as well.

2) Missions Economy – Covenant

Through many church leaders, God restored the missions economy. How was this restoration possible? The Bible shows one common factor, and this is the part you must hold onto today. Over and over, Scripture records: “The Word of the Lord came to Moses.” “The Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah.” This is the answer. For those who are not saved, this cannot be understood. But for those who are saved, when the Word of the Lord comes upon them, everything else comes together. Still, many people waste their efforts chasing empty things. Through you, and through the remnants, world evangelization must surely take place.

3) Economy of Light – Tabernacle, David, Temple Reconstruction

So then, what is the economy of light? In the wilderness, God revived everything through the tabernacle-centered ministry. That is the temple. When God prepared the temple through David, He poured out the economy of light abundantly. And even after it was lost, when God commanded the reconstruction of the temple, He declared, “I will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the nations.” Hold tightly to this covenant today.

3. Disciples to Proclaim the Gospel

There is one more thing. This week, you must make a resolution. There is a difference between a disciple who proclaims the gospel and a church that proclaims the gospel. When persecution and trials come, disciples who proclaim the gospel will rise, but those who do not proclaim the gospel will fall.

1) Covenant

You must understand this clearly. Disciples who proclaim the gospel have no personal reasons, no calculations, and no conditions. They hold onto one thing only — the covenant.

2) Relationship

It is only about maintaining your relationship with God.

3) Identity

It is only about knowing your identity. Many lose hold of God’s answers because they fail to understand this. Paul warned passionately in Colossians 2, “Do not waste your effort.” In Colossians 2:3, it says, “In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” And in verse 8, it warns, “See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which depend on human traditions and the elementary principles of the world, rather than on Christ.” Therefore, as we offer this temple dedication service, we must first understand what the temple truly means.

▣ Main Point

If you remember these three things, God’s answers will surely come upon you.

1. Individual (7)

You, the believers, are God’s temple. In verses 6 and 7, it says, “Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught.” This means that you, as a saved child of God, are His temple. If you lose hold of this and focus only on building a physical structure, it would be meaningless.

2. Field (15)

Secondly, your workplace field, your meeting field, and all your relationships — these are also the temple. In verse 15, it says, “Christ disarmed the rulers and authorities and triumphed over them by the cross.” This means everything in the field must be centered on Christ.

3. Church Building

Third, the physical place where we gather for worship — the church building — is also the temple. Paul explains this further.

1. Individual (7)

1) John 1:11, 12

In John 1:11–12, it says, “Jesus Christ came as the Light. To those who received Him and believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.” This Light has already come upon you. Do not be discouraged. Wait upon God, and He will surely carry out the gospel movement through you. Throughout history, two battles have continued: the Jews faced disasters for generations, but the early church fulfilled world evangelization. Do not be deceived; hold firmly to this.

2) 1 Corinthians 3:16

In 1 Corinthians 3:16, it says, “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” Do not be deceived by empty things.

3) Philippians 2:13

In Philippians 2:13, it says, “For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.” God has made you His temple and placed His good will within you.

4) 1 Peter 2:9

In 1 Peter 2:9, it says, “God has called you as His holy people to proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” When you worship on Sunday, carefully confirm God’s Word and look at it prayerfully. Even just doing that will bring God’s answers because you are the temple.

5) Resurrection

That is why, when Jesus resurrected, He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore, go in My name. In My name, drive out demons and lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” He promised to be with you always.

2. Field

At that moment, God makes your meetings and your fields into the temple.

1) Remnant 7

For the 7 remnants, everywhere they went became the temple. Do not lose hold of this. Starting tomorrow, wherever you go — your workplace, your business, your school — that place is the temple. Why? Because God’s Spirit is with you there. A palace is called a palace because the king is there. Even if a house looks luxurious, if only beggars gather there, it becomes a den of beggars. But even if a house is shabby, if the king dwells there, it is still a palace. Wherever you go, confess boldly: “Because the Holy Spirit works here, this place is the temple.” The 7 remnants always displayed the evidence that God was with them.

2) Hebrews 11

If you look at all the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11, you see this same reality in their lives.

3) The Remaining Ones, Pilgrims, and Conquerors

God called the disciples of the early church as the remaining ones. Everywhere they went, God’s kingdom came upon them. God called them pilgrims to carry His covenant wherever they went. Pastors must receive God’s answers while preparing the message. Church leaders must receive God’s answers while serving in worship. God has also called you as conquerors to stand as His witnesses.

3. Church Building

So then, why do we build a church building? This is important.

1) Most Holy Place and Holy Place

The church building where the gospel is proclaimed is where the Most Holy Place and Holy Place are united as one. That is the temple.

2) Priests 24

This is where the priests stand and carry out prayer 24 hours a day.

3) Three Courtyards 24

Most importantly, in verse 10 it says, “In Christ all fullness dwells, and He has given you that fullness.” This includes the three courtyards 24. This is why we build the temple. Yes, we can worship anywhere, but unless there is a place where the three courtyards can take place 24 hours a day, it cannot truly fulfill God’s design for the temple. The first blessing you must hold onto is that you, personally, are the temple. Then, wherever you go tomorrow — your workplace, your business, your school — that is the temple. Finally, the church building becomes the place where the 237 nations and 5000 tribes can gather to enjoy 24, 25, and eternity. Hold tightly to this covenant and pray.

▣ Conclusion

This week, hold onto this conclusion and pray.

1. 237

The standard of the answers you must hold onto is 237.

2. 5000

The blessings your future generations will receive are connected to the 5000 tribes.

3. Three Courtyards

Build the three courtyards that have disappeared from the earth.

4. The Three-Day Weekend Age

Next, open the three-day weekend age to save the next generation. Pray only for this and enter deeply into prayer. Elders prayed today, didn’t they? Do not simply sit and wait. If you just wait, that time becomes spiritually meaningless. When the elder prays, don’t sit wondering when it will end — enter into prayer together. When hymns are sung and the choir praises, even if you don’t understand their process, you must still enter into prayer. When the Word is proclaimed, don’t stare at the pastor — enter into prayer inside God’s Word. That is the key. Spiritual doors open during these times.

If you do not understand the blessings of the 237 nations and 5000 tribes, your future generations will struggle to survive. A new era is coming — an age where physical money will no longer be used. This shift is happening quickly. Blockchain technology is spreading rapidly, and ignoring it would be unwise. Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin have already skyrocketed. Even leaders like Trump have publicly stated this is the direction we must move toward. This shows how inevitable this new era has become. And where will the world’s focus be? Right here — on the movement of 237 nations and 5000 tribes. You must pray earnestly for this. Otherwise, we may lose the opportunity.

That is why remnants must pray. If we fail to understand the meaning of the three courtyards, many churches will have no choice but to close their doors. If we do not prepare for the three-day weekend age, we cannot save the next generation.

5. Holy Meditation Age

If we do not understand the holy meditation age, we cannot bring healing to ourselves or to the world. That is why we must hold onto this covenant and build the temple — within ourselves, within our fields, and within our gatherings.

This week, I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that you may receive great answers in your prayers. Follow the flow of God’s Word and the flow of God’s answers. This does not mean just studying the Bible for knowledge; it means aligning yourself with God’s working and guidance.

There are many important guests here today who came from overseas. Please pay attention to them and pray for them, because they must return with this blessing. The many multiethnic people in our church and the remnants who are here must leave knowing what true prayer is. You must also come to understand what 300% means for your life and work.

That is why this week is not simply about constructing a physical temple. There are already many church buildings. Our calling is to establish a temple where 24-hour prayer, 237 nations, 5000 tribes, the three courtyards, the three-day weekend age, and the holy meditation age are all fulfilled together. Later, you will see why this was so important.

Therefore, I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that your prayer of faith will continue without ceasing starting this week. Churches in places like Ulsan and Changwon are preparing, but this cannot be done casually. You must become people of prayer and restore God’s blessings. Do not settle for false blessings. Do not be deceived by empty things. Even now, in our Imse region, we are preparing extensively. Our church has the perfect conditions for restoring the three courtyards. I bless you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to receive this blessing this week.

Prayer. Father God, we thank You. May today’s covenant be fulfilled throughout these six days and be connected to answers for our entire lifetime. We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Why Do People Stop Believing?

Hebrews 11:6. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Some people say, “I used to believe and go to church, but not anymore.” Tragically, this is not uncommon. Even among those who still attend church, many do not genuinely believe in God or trust in His power. Their faith is superficial, and their hearts are far from Him.

This is why Jesus lamented over the spiritual condition of His people when He asked, “However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8). Jesus foresaw a time when genuine faith would become rare.

Many attend church faithfully, but deep inside, they do not live in the reality of God’s presence. They follow rules, perform rituals, and carry the name “Christian,” yet they have not encountered the living Christ. What they practice is not a living faith but a lifeless religion. Jesus warned us about this kind of life, describing its dangers in Matthew 12:43-45:

“When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

This is the tragedy of a religious life without Christ. The heart may appear “cleaned up” on the outside—attending services, keeping traditions, and avoiding visible sin—but if Christ does not dwell within, the soul remains empty. That emptiness attracts greater bondage, deeper suffering, and restlessness, allowing evil spirits to make it their home.

No matter how long someone has been involved in church, if they have not tasted the grace and peace of God, their Christian life will become burdensome. The Word of God will seem irrelevant and powerless to them because they have never experienced it as “living and active” (Hebrews 4:12). Over time, their walk grows dry, joyless, and exhausting, leading to discouragement and despair.

What God desires from us is not empty religion but faith: “Without faith, it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6). God wants us to believe in Him wholeheartedly and love Him with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind (Deuteronomy 6:5).

Our Heavenly Father grieves when we approach Him with cold, routine religion rather than living faith. Listen to His words of lament over His people:

“The multitude of your sacrifices—
what are they to me?” says the Lord.
“I have more than enough of burnt offerings,
    of rams and the fat of fattened animals;
I have no pleasure
in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats.
When you come to appear before me,
who has asked this of you,
    this trampling of my courts?
Stop bringing meaningless offerings!
Your incense is detestable to me.
New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations—
I cannot bear your worthless assemblies.
Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals
I hate with all my being.
They have become a burden to me;
I am weary of bearing them.
When you spread out your hands in prayer,
    I hide my eyes from you;
even when you offer many prayers,
    I am not listening.
Your hands are full of blood! (Isaiah 1:11-15)

God rejects lifeless rituals because they do not flow from a heart that trusts Him. When we follow a religion without living faith, we cannot understand spiritual truths or experience the fullness of what God has freely given us through His Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:12). Our lives remain separated from His glory (Romans 3:23), and we are left vulnerable to discouragement, doubt, and defeat. This is the strategy of Satan.

However, there is hope. God works powerfully in the lives of those who truly believe that He is real and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). When you believe in Christ and rest in His promises, you please God.

He delights when you enjoy what He has freely given through His Spirit—assurance of salvation, forgiveness of sins, answered prayers, guidance from the Holy Spirit, and ultimate victory over the evil one. When you fully trust Him in every situation, you bring joy to His heart.

God is not impressed by outward appearances; He looks at the heart. Come before His throne confidently, just as you are, seeking His grace and help. He will fill you with strength, renew your faith, and use you to bring His salvation to the world—just as He did with those who came before us, the people of faith who trusted Him completely.

Choose faith, not religion. Choose to trust God’s power, not your own effort. Choose a living relationship with Christ, not a lifeless routine.

Prayer. Father, I thank You for the gift of faith in Christ, which gives me confidence and assurance in my salvation. Help me to live a life that pleases You, holding firmly to Your promises. Teach me to trust You more deeply, to walk by faith and not by sight, and to rest in the power of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Things We Must Always Do

1 Thessalonians 5:12-21. Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt 21 but test them all; hold on to what is good.

We often lose sight of the blessing and joy of salvation in our relationships with others. Misunderstandings, selfishness, and hurt can steal the peace God intends for us. That is why the first thing we must always do is to rejoice in the unending grace of God in Christ, our ultimate bartizan. Only then can we walk on our covenant journey with the power of prayer and establish heavenly guideposts in our mission fields with thanksgiving.

To this end, God has called us to be His church, the body of Christ. Just as the health of the human body depends on the proper functioning of every part, so the health of the church depends on the unity and maturity of its members. Only when each part is healthy can the entire body thrive. God blesses His people as a community, not just as individuals. When His children walk together in love and humility, His blessings flow abundantly. This is His principle of blessing.

The way we treat our brothers and sisters in Christ should be different from the way unbelievers treat others. God calls us to live by a higher standard, placing the needs and interests of others above our own (Philippians 2:3-4). This is not optional; it reflects the heart of Christ, who humbled Himself to serve. When you live this way, you become a channel of His grace and goodness.

Keep your heart always filled with the joy of salvation. Do not allow circumstances, disappointments, or the actions of others to steal the joy Christ has given you. Enjoy the Giver, not just His gifts. When the seventy-two disciples returned to Jesus, rejoicing over their authority over demons, He reminded them: “However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven” (Luke 10:20). Your greatest treasure is not what you accomplish but who you are in Christ.

Never stop praying. Your Father’s throne is always open to you. Prayer is not a ritual but a living connection with the One who rules heaven and earth. Through prayer, you enjoy your identity and exercise your spiritual authority as God’s child. Jesus promised that whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19). Your prayers can move the throne of the Triune. Stop worrying about your life and start praying instead.

Your heavenly Father, the Creator who formed and established the earth, invites you to call on Him, “Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” He longs to reveal His plans and purposes as you seek Him in prayer.

No matter what happens, always be thankful. In every situation, God’s will for you in Christ Jesus is good, perfect, and unchanging. Scripture reminds us that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). This includes you. Even in trials and temptations, do not doubt His love and faithfulness. Ask and discover His plans in His Word.

Remember Daniel’s example. When the decree was signed forbidding prayer, Daniel did not panic or hide. He went home, opened his windows toward Jerusalem, and prayed three times a day, giving thanks to God just as he had done before (Daniel 6:10). Daniel’s gratitude and faith unlocked God’s power in his life. Like Daniel, keep trusting God and remain thankful, even when circumstances seem against you.

God has plans for your life. He does not intend to harm you but to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Hold on to His promises and trust His perfect timing. Thanksgiving opens the door to deeper faith and greater blessings.

Do not ignore the voice of the Holy Spirit when He prompts you to act. When He leads you to pray for someone, obey. When He sends you to share the gospel, follow without hesitation. Do not dismiss the Word of God when it speaks to you, and do not grieve the Spirit by pursuing fleeting things that cannot last. Instead, set your heart on the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God (Colossians 3:1). Always remember that you are a child of God, led by His Spirit and called to live a life that bears witness to Christ.

Prayer. Father, I thank You for Your love, even in the midst of problems and trials. I know that You have plans to give me hope and a future. Fill my heart with gratitude and my life with reasons for thanksgiving. Teach me to trust You fully, to love others deeply, and to walk closely with You each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

No Competition and the Answer of 25

2023.08.13 District Message
Scripture Reading: 2 Kings 6:8-23

A student who is soon going to the United States to study abroad just came to say hello.
You must go, having already taken hold of the covenant that can conquer the United States.
For the adults, that part hasn’t gone very well.
Our remnants must certainly discover that part.

At the Remnant Conference this time, which we held with the president of Vanuatu, the prayer topic I held onto was, “Ah, next year we must invite remnants from 14 nations.” That’s the prayer topic I took.

So the content you must always pray for is this: we must first hold onto the covenant.
Only then, just working hard unconditionally? That’s not it.
You were probably taught like this: you must work hard no matter what.
But the Bible does not say it like that.
From the time of Abraham, the Bible says something very important: “Go to the land I will show you.”

No competition and the Answer of 25

My greatest hidden concern is this.
When I look at many people, they try to work in the same style as unbelievers.
Ah… if you do that, you will lose.
True remnants—true people of faith—were in a state of no competition. Right?
That means they received the 25 answer.
24 is our time, but 25 is not our time.
In other words, this (25) is God’s time.
They secured that in advance.

▣ Introduction

So you must definitely remember this.

Covenant (C)
You must first hold onto the covenant—the accurate covenant. Right?
When you first hold onto the accurate covenant, it becomes the Covenant.

Disaster (V)
Then you must definitely see what the disaster actually is.
“I’m going to the United States.”? Do you know what the current disaster of America is?
A massive culture that completely makes people ignorant of Christ has taken hold of America.
People easily fall into strange cultures.
You must see this first in order to see what Vision is.

24·25·Eternity (D)
Then, what covenant should you have? From this point, you begin to see 24·25·Eternity.
When you can see this, that is what we call the Dream.
It’s not merely seeing the future—you have seen what is eternal, right?
If so, this is the true Dream.

Ruler of the Kingdom of the Air (I)
Now, there is a remaining battle, right? It is with the ruler of the kingdom of the air.
Your real battle is this (the ruler of the air).
It is not (about) this (Covenant (C), Disaster (V), 24·25·Eternity (D)).
So it’s not on the level of “How should I study when I go? How should I get a job? How should I do business?”
Because you can overcome by the Creator Spirit of God, this is called the Image.

Throne (P)
Now, as we already know, we enjoy the power of the throne.
A life that turns this into a masterpiece must come forth. Practice.

This is CVDIP. Adults must definitely remember this.
If you cannot remember this, the rest of your life will continually be difficult.

From what I see—though I am not a businessman—when I look at people doing business, they are holding onto many things that are very risky and won’t work.
One day, it will collapse.
Then they say, “Ah, is it because I didn’t pray?” That’s not it.
It is because they were holding conditions that could not help but collapse.
Remnants must remember this, and adults must remember it as well.

[Survival Competition]

So now, without even realizing it, we have learned what the world teaches—things like survival competition.
Even when you study history, it continually teaches such things.
The book The Art of War is a book about how to defeat others, right?
So you must kill and win. Because it’s taught like that all over the world, people do that.

But that is not for us believers.
We are not about this (survival competition). We have no competition.
And people also teach others like that—teaching them to keep fighting.
And when you go to the field, it’s the same; in reality, that’s how it is.
You must definitely remember this and teach it to the remnants.

▣ Main Message

1. Victory without fighting (Status)

God’s children have the blessing of winning without fighting.
This is truly the status of those who have received answers.
How can we say this?

1) The Triune God
Though unseen, the work of the Triune God is with us. Without a doubt.

2) The Throne (Status)
Therefore, according to our status, many blessings of the throne begin to arise.
This is status.

3) Authority
And when you have this status, there is no need to fight; authority follows.
According to your status, authority follows.

This part does not exist in the world and is not taught at school at all, so people, believers, don’t think it is important.
If you don’t consider this most important, you who are listening now will end up following unbelievers.
Then, inevitably, you have to do this (survival competition).
In the end, this (survival competition) seems to become the correct saying.
It’s wrong, yet this (survival competition) becomes accepted as right.
“Ah, so that’s it. I must survive within this survival competition.”
It sounds right. It has become like a truth. Absolutely not.

2. RT 7 (Loneliness)

Second: What kind of position were the seven remnants who received the answer of no competition in?
We can refer to this a bit.

In a way, the characteristic—the seven remnants had this characteristic of (loneliness) to a great extent.
Their characteristic was that they were in loneliness, with no one to help them, like that.
This is important.

Are you in a situation where there is no one to help you, and you have no strength?
Then the true answers came at such times.

1) Crisis – Independence
So it seems as if they encountered a crisis.
But these parts were the secret of being revived completely with God.
This became the way to discover spiritual reality.
Upon realizing it, God’s true answer was on the other side.
Then such blessings came forth, becoming opportunities to save everyone.
Look—Joseph seemed to be going to prison, but later he saved Egypt, saved the king, saved them all.
Therefore, remnants must pay the closest attention to this.

2) God’s Method
To make you know God’s method.
Driving you into crisis or making it look lonely is so that God may give you the answer to survive even when alone.

3) 24·25·Eternity
From this point, this begins to come out. Many think, “Ah, I’m ruined now,” right?
It won’t be so.
At this time, the answer of 24·25·eternity comes out.

I’m trying to preach briefly in the first service, and you probably learned in the world: “Do not be discouraged, do not give up.”
But the Bible does not say it like that.
There is nothing to be discouraged about and nothing to give up; what is unnecessary should be given up. Right?

Joseph went to prison—there was no need to cry out, “Please save me!”
There was no one to save him.
There was an enormous plan in it.

Many times you think, “Ah, why does failure come to me like this? I need to get out of failure.”
How difficult that is.
So people dislike it because it’s hard.

But if you truly know this and begin to enjoy this secret of prayer—if you possess this—you can win.
Not only to win, but there is something truly separate.
Always remember: it’s not that you are suffering; the real thing is separate.

Remnants in America and abroad, and those going abroad, must remember this.
It may look like you are facing difficulties, but the true answer is inside them.
That’s why a crisis is important.

3. The Power of the Throne

From this time on, you truly enjoy the power of the throne, with the Triune God being with you.
Let me give a few examples.

1) 2 Kings 6:16
This is 2 Kings 6:16. It is a power that ordinary people do not know.
Around Elisha, God had deployed the army of heaven.

2) 2 Kings 19:35
In 2 Kings 19:35, on the very night King Hezekiah was praying, God sent an angel from heaven and did something tremendous.
One hundred eighty-five thousand Assyrian soldiers died.
In their records, Assyria expressed it as, “They died because a plague spread.”
In any case, they all died.

That night, Hezekiah was praying.
Completely toward God—Scripture says he even turned his face to the wall.
But the Bible records it: “That night.”
“God sent the angel of the LORD and struck down all 185,000 of the Assyrian soldiers.”

The invading commander didn’t die; the rest all died.
Why didn’t the commander die? When he returned and reported to his country, he was stabbed to death.
The reason is simple: so that this (2 Kings 19:35) would be seen. He wasn’t killed, so he could go and report it.

Now, even those who believe in Jesus don’t believe in this kind of power.
So your prayers end up being pointless—since you don’t believe.
Then you spend your whole life doing errands for unbelievers and die—what an unjust thing.

If you just hold onto this covenant, it doesn’t matter if you’re attacked from all sides.
Even if 7 billion people in the world attack a remnant, it doesn’t matter.

3) Daniel 6:22
It’s the same story—Daniel 6:22.
Daniel said, “Last night, the angel of the LORD shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not harmed me.”
The lions could not bite Daniel. He was saved like that.

▣ Conclusion:  Spiritual Strength

You must first have spiritual strength.
No matter what anyone says, go forward now with faith and prayer.
If you are under shock for 24 hours over three days—you’ll die. Right?
So if the spiritual aspect dies, the body also dies.
If you are extremely joyful for 24 hours over three days, your body’s sickness will also be healed.
Therefore, gain spiritual strength first. It will surely come.

I am most thankful for our elders, our elders of the church, and deaconesses; I respect you greatly.
Why? In Busan, the city was revived because those elders prayed.
Once, I was passing by the church and saw the lights on, so I went down.
These elderly people had gathered and were praying.
At that time, I thought a lot: who would come and pray like this at church, when we were starting so small?
But God raised it up as a church that does world evangelization.

So our elders and deaconesses, especially, must gain great spiritual strength on Sundays.
I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today would be the day the greatest grace and strength overflow to you.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Let today be a spiritual day when the gates of heaven are opened. Today, send the heavenly army of God so that all unbelief and everything that blocks the Gospel may collapse. Let this be the day we gain new strength. As we pray together with today’s Word, let this be a time of power in which even unknown illnesses are healed. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
