– Bartizan 43 of the 3-day Weekend Age –
Scripture Reading: Acts 1:8

1. Picture Thank you for the praise. Now this year has less than one month left. As you, as people of work, wrap up this year, you must clearly draw the picture. You cannot go on without doing this.

  1. Thoughts, heart, brain, soul, throne The picture is not an art picture. It is the picture you draw in your mind. Your thoughts and heart are always imprinted on your brain. That is why, when you look at most people, because their thoughts and heart are seriously wrong in many ways, they are outstanding yet do not receive answers. It is always imprinted in the soul. Then it becomes connected to the throne. Answers are bound to come. Among students, there are children who are grateful toward their parents and children who resent their parents. Which child will receive answers? There is no need to ask. I was shocked that despite having been trained for decades, I still heard things like, “I am upset about this, about that,” and inside I thought, “Ah!” That reveals that person’s level. How diligent or skilled they are—that is secondary.
  2. Bartizan – journey – guidepost So as you keep praying over this part, a bartizan will be formed. God’s bartizan is formed in you. Then it becomes easy to go the journey and to establish guideposts. This picture is something you must surely have.
  3. WIOS, OURS, Always withs Then within me, God’s With, Immanuel, Oneness system is formed. The “only, uniqueness, re-creation” system is formed even without you thinking about it. The “always with” system is formed.

2. Only (surely) At this time you see one thing: you see “only.” To see “only,” you do not have to think in a difficult way. Just ask, “What is the one thing I must absolutely do right now?” However, for people of work and church leaders, because you must receive great blessing, you see three things.

  1. Absolute impossibility The king of Egypt commanded that the babies be killed, and no one could stop it.
  2. Absolute plan But Jochebed saw God’s absolute plan. God’s plan was for the Israelites to leave Egypt.
  3. Absolute possibility At that time she saw absolute possibility. Seeing absolute possibility, she decided to send her son into the palace. Through that one thing, an event that changed the age took place. So change your thoughts, and as people of work and church leaders, you must not think, “What will someone do for me?” It must not be that. It is, “What will I do?” Not, “What will the church do for me?” but, “What will I do for the church?” Right? You must change your thoughts. Our disciples in hard and underdeveloped countries must change their thoughts. They are thinking, “Is there no nation that will help us?” If they go on like that, it will last their whole life. They must change their thoughts: “How can we send disciples?” Right? Even if you cannot yet do it, you must think that way for your spirit to come alive and your direction to change. You are people of work and church leaders. You must start by changing your thoughts. Among all the demons, the strongest demon is the “resentment demon.” The next strongest is the “public opinion demon.” You go to church and act according to the atmosphere. That is not right. You must follow the Word. You must not follow people. In this way, we easily lose hold of this blessing. Now in your remaining life, you must do this.

3. One heart – 24, 25, eternity When this “only” is seen, one heart becomes possible. What is the opposite of one heart? Being complicated. What is the opposite of one heart? Being confused all the time. That leads to death. Discovering this blessing is not very difficult; it is found in small things. Our former church was one where there were too many things that did not work. So I asked, “What is the most needed and most difficult thing in our church?” and I asked the pastor if I could do that. The pastor was very pleased. It was nothing special. At my school, during exams—this may be hard to understand now, but when I was in school—we received test papers mimeographed in the staff office. It was such an underdeveloped time that the letters were often unreadable. One day I studied what kind of mimeograph could print clean double-sided copies at a print shop. With that, I told the pastor I would make the church bulletin. The pastor told me to do it. Those of you who do printing know that it requires some skill. I made a clean double-sided bulletin every week. For me that was a good experience, and I used it in the army as well. This is how “only” works. I once went to a church and was put in charge of the middle and high school department. What was the “only” I had to do? It was very simple but others did not do it, so I visited the schools every day. There I saw something tremendous. The answers from that continue even now. Then I was in charge of the children’s Sunday school, and the kids were so noisy that very few could concentrate on the sermon. From there I discovered a tremendous answer, and that was the “Darakbang.” “Ah, we must do Darakbang.” At another church, I was put in charge of the young adults. There I found what was most important: discipleship training. It was nothing difficult. It was something that truly had to be done. When I went into Yeongdo, what was the question? “How can world evangelization be possible?” When I honestly asked that, naturally the questions came: “How many countries are in the world? How many countries are there that receive no cultural benefits?” So the answer of the 5,000 tribes was bound to emerge. As people of work, before this year ends, you must think about this. 『The way of people of work – the “only” one heart』 The way of people of work is the “only” one heart. Right? Some say, “If you just work hard at anything, it will work,” but that is something spoken in very underdeveloped places. You must discover this “only” while praying. Only then will things truly start. From that point, one heart becomes possible. If I do not discover “only,” I must do this and that and everything. So before this year ends, you must pray and greet the new year.

▣ Main Let us check the Bible briefly.

1. Abraham (13:14–18) It is Abraham. He discovered “only.” Before that, nothing worked. That is Genesis 13:14–18. He discovered it there.

  1. No unbelief What did he discover? He discovered unbelief. He discarded it. So he parted ways with his nephew. Abraham had been continuing in unbelief.
  2. Altar – picture From that moment, he began to cast that away and build altars. He drew the promise God gave as a picture. You know how greatly he received answers. Before that, he almost died.
  3. 22:1–21 From then on God gave an important promise for the last days. On Mount Moriah, it was the ram. The son was supposed to die, but there was the ram. At that time He spoke of world evangelization. From there, it began to be passed to the next generation.

2. Joseph (Genesis 37:1–11) Joseph discovered this. Fortunately, Joseph discovered it from the very beginning.

  1. Heart He spoke about this, and it says Jacob treasured these things in his heart. This is important.
  2. Path Because Joseph discovered this early and discovered “only,” everything became a path. People who did not know would think Joseph was trafficked and sold and ruined. No. It was the path.
  3. World evangelization In the end he becomes the main figure of world evangelization where this “only” is fulfilled. People who did not know Joseph would have thought, “Joseph is finished.” His brothers would have thought so. “Ah, Joseph is finished.” Potiphar’s wife would have thought so. But Joseph became a powerful prime minister. When the brothers later found out, they trembled and begged for their lives. When we search the Bible, there is no news about Potiphar’s wife. She must have been the most afraid. Right? She knew who Joseph was and that she falsely accused him and sent him to prison. But he became prime minister. If it were you, you would probably summon her. But there is no such record in the Bible. One who discovers “only” can work with one heart.

3. Jethro (Exodus 18:1–21) It is Jethro the priest. When you look at Exodus 18:1–21, without discovering this “only,” what he did would be impossible.

  1. Son-in-law The fact that he took Moses as his son-in-law itself was impossible.
  2. Pharaoh Even more, when Moses said he would go back before Pharaoh, Jethro told him to go.
  3. Counsel And when they came out of Egypt, Jethro gave Moses an amazing message. At that time the terms “leaders of tens, leaders of fifties, leaders of hundreds, leaders of thousands” came from Jethro’s mind.

4. Hannah, Jesse Especially look at Hannah and Jesse.

  1. 1 Samuel 1:9–11 When you truly pray, from the moment you discover “only,” works arise. No matter how much she prayed, there was no answer, but one day she discovered this, and then works began. Before that, she only prayed in a physical way: “Why do You not give me a child? Why only me?” That was her prayer. Then she realized, “It is not that I need a son.” She realized, “A Nazarite to save the nation is needed.” Works had no choice but to arise.
  2. 1 Samuel 17:1–47 In 1 Samuel 17:1–47 something amazing appears. A war broke out. Jesse knew David would become king. If he knew that, he should have kept him home. But he said, “Go, be sure to deliver this and bring back a token.” From there, the work began. Goliath insulted them for 40 days. It was not just any insult. He said, “Let someone who believes in the Lord come out.” “If you simply fight and defeat me, we will surrender. If you cannot defeat me, all Israel must surrender to our nation.” David heard this. What is the answer in everything? It is “only.” David knew this. Now you must receive and enjoy this blessing.

5. Obadiah Look at Obadiah—truly tremendous.

  1. One hundred men He was especially the king’s official and Elijah’s disciple. I believe there is much answer in this. He was the trusted official of the most evil king and the disciple whom Elijah valued most. This is amazing. This is the standard you people of work must have. Unbelievers must acknowledge you, and the servant of the Lord must acknowledge you. Right? He hid one hundred prophets.
  2. Seven thousand people God did not end with that. He reserved seven thousand disciples. Obadiah influenced all of them.
  3. Dothan Later, the Dothan movement arose. “Only.” There is no need to work frantically. “Only.” Saving time and such things are not the most important. The important thing is to treat what is important as important and what is not important as not important. When you have time, rest, enjoy, relax, and play. But you must not lose “only.” Our Remnants must also discover “only” to succeed. They must discover “only” to do 300%. Remember this.

6. Daniel (Daniel 1:8–9) Look at all of them—Daniel. These people discovered “only.” So it says they resolved. What does that mean? They saw something. “We are not people who have simply succeeded. God has sent us to this high position. Israel is now ruined. The temple has been burned and destroyed.” They had come to that nation, and into very high positions. They resolved. They showed evidence. So the answers came exactly.

7. Romans 16:1–27 The people of Romans 16. All these people discovered “only.” So the “hidden contract” appears.

▣ Conclusion_ Natural, necessary, absolute “Only” is, in conclusion, in what is natural. What must you do in the wilderness? Naturally, you must go to the land of Canaan. Right? Not knowing that is why they died. “What if we die on the way?” Then you die. Even so, you must go. “Even if we die in the wilderness, our next generation must go to Canaan.” Right? Natural. Then you discover what you must absolutely do. Necessary. Then you discover what you must do even at the risk of your life. Absolute. That is how it comes. Before this year ends, you people of work and church leaders are important people. Draw the picture. Earlier, as I listened to the elder’s prayer, I saw the message was arranged very movingly. With that covenant of the week, you must discover what is most failing in the church and in your work. Then you begin to see “only.”

▣ Introduction
3. One heart – 24, 25, eternity From then on, one heart. If you combine one heart firmly, it becomes 24, 25, eternity. Then it cannot fail. Remnants ask much about what they should do, but for adults there is no need to ask. Do 24. Then 25 comes. Then eternal masterpiece remains. Surely it is so. If you know 24, you can restore your health and everything. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that for people of work throughout the nation and the world, a newly beginning year will start again. Let us pray.

Prayer. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, King of kings, and the eternal love of God, and the powerful working of the Holy Spirit be with people of work and church leaders throughout the nation and the world, from now on and forevermore. Amen.
