Confession of Faith
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
…Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord,
…Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
…Born of the Virgin Mary,
…Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
…Was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
…And is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy universal Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body
And life everlasting. Amen.
Scripture Reading
Acts 17:1-9
Paul and Silas traveled through the cities of Amphipolis and Apollonia. They came to the city of Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue. 2 Paul went into the synagogue to see the Jews as he always did. The next three weeks, on each Sabbath day, he discussed the Scriptures with them. 3 He explained the Scriptures to show them that the Messiah had to die and then rise from death. He said, “This Jesus that I am telling you about is the Messiah.” 4 Some of the Jews there believed Paul and Silas and decided to join them. Also, a large number of Greeks who were worshipers of the true God and many important women joined them.
5 But the Jews who did not believe became jealous, so they got some bad men from around the city center to make trouble. They formed a mob and caused a riot in the city. They went to Jason’s house, looking for Paul and Silas. They wanted to bring them out before the people. 6 When they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some of the other believers to the city leaders. The people shouted, “These men have made trouble everywhere in the world, and now they have come here too! 7 Jason is keeping them in his house. They all do things against the laws of Caesar. They say there is another king called Jesus.”
8 When the city leaders and the other people heard this, they became very upset. 9 They made Jason and the other believers deposit money to guarantee that there would be no more trouble. Then they let them go.

What to Teach the Next Generation First
Pastor Ryu Kwang Su
The Power of the Covenant (Romans 16:25–27) – How great is the power of the covenant? Because the covenant is God’s Word, it has the power of creation. From the moment you hold onto this covenant, answers begin. He says that He will now reveal what was hidden before eternity. Because this is the covenant of the gospel, He will give what will remain forever and ever.
Moses – age 80, 40 years. Moses held onto the covenant, but the works arose when he was 80 years old. It took 40 years to walk the wilderness path. Answers continued, and at age 80, the D-day came.
David – 15–20 years. David held onto the covenant, and it was fulfilled about 15–20 years later.
Paul – 250 (313). Paul spoke of world evangelization, and it was fulfilled after 250 years (A.D. 313). From the moment he held onto the covenant, answers continued and reached 250 years.
The bartizan, the journey, and the guidepost of the throne were all fulfilled. This happens from the moment you hold onto the covenant. What you received without knowing is called grace.
Covenant – For those who knew and held the covenant all their lives, works arose from the moment they held the lifelong covenant. Because they received it, knowing what it is, it is a calling.
In 237 missions, the most important thing is the next generation. Then what is the very first thing we must teach the next generation?
▣ Introduction
The covenant held in childhood lasts a lifetime and continues. The children of the 5000 tribes have no access to cultural benefits. That is why the gospel can enter directly.
1. First-world countries – 40% are taking medication.
2. Developing countries – completely abandoned state.
3. Children living in Korea – even if they are struggling, they cannot speak of it (visa, employment, children’s education).
▷ We must raise the next generation, and God has hidden treasures.
▣ Main Message
1. Acts 17:3 – We must tell them accurately about Christ. Christ is the way, the truth, and the life who leads to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
1) Perfection – If they are God’s chosen people, complete works arise in this word.
(1) John 8:56 – The Christ before eternity – solves the eternal past.
(2) John 1:14 – The incarnate Christ – He came in the body of a human.
(3) Acts 3:6 – The resurrected Christ – even now we use authority in that name.
(4) Revelation 20:1–15 – The Christ who will come again as the Lord of the Second Coming – solves future problems.
(5) Revelation 21:1–27 – The Christ who will come as the Lord of Judgment – eternity.
2) Being filled with the Holy Spirit – He guides from beginning to end. He makes us know what is to come.
3) He gives 7·7·7 so that we may succeed 300%.
▷ Christ becomes complete light in the darkness.
2. Acts 17:2 – Three Sabbaths – We must let them know the perfection of worship and prayer.
1) The Sovereign of Prayer (the Triune God) – He works invisibly.
2) The Background of Prayer (the throne, the kingdom, the works of the kingdom) – These things take place in the field.
3) The Method of Prayer
(1) Imprint (brain)
(2) Root (soul)
(3) Nature (communicating with the throne)
3. Acts 17:1 – He entered the synagogue – the perfection of answers.
1) Talent 300%
2) Work 300% – God will make it so.
3) Enjoy evangelism and missions 300%. And do world evangelization.
▷ Remnants—from now on, do not pray to receive help, but pray to become helpers. Do not pray to send workers to you, but pray to send out workers.
▣ Conclusion
1. The first opportunity
2. The last opportunity
3. The eternal opportunity (imprinted forever)
▷ Until the sanctuary construction is completed, the entire church must continue relay fasting prayer so that prayer does not stop, connecting faith with the covenant.
