Communication with People (Upward, Downward, Sideways) and the Answer of 25

2023.09.24 District Message
Scripture Reading: Acts 18:1-4, Romans 16:1-27

▣ Introduction

These days, according to statistics, the number of people who suddenly suffer from depression has greatly increased.
And there are now many more people who carry wounds and pain in their hearts. Many are suddenly diagnosed with cancer and suffer in great pain and hardship. But in fact, you do not need to worry—our church has many good systems. Right now, key individuals are preparing for healing ministries and for how to teach Remnants to pray. If you know people like this, you must also evangelize to them, bring them to church, and connect them practically.

[Brain] – [Body] – [Spirit]
So why is prayer necessary? Because this (the brain) must first come alive. Usually when we face difficulties or problems, they all come from issues in this area. Some people have a hard time because they cannot control their emotions; there are also many who suffer because they cannot hold back their anger. Some, when driving, if someone slightly gets in their way, they take a hammer out of the trunk and smash the car—they cannot hold it in. It is not that they are particularly evil people; it is because this (the brain) is in a difficult state. Even whether students study well or not is related to this (the brain). We are now preparing professionally to help and heal these aspects.

Now the three-day weekend age is gradually opening, and as it opens, we must do this kind of work. But instead of using the term “healing” too much—because the word “healing” sounds like something for sick people—it may be good to use a more positive expression. People in special positions often do not go to anything called a “healing team,” because they would then be the ones receiving healing. That is why the three organizations do this very well. They call it “mindfulness.” With children, they call it “how to study well.” When a golfer wins a tournament, they visit and ask, “How can we strengthen mental power?” and they teach that.

We actually have the real thing, far greater than what they have, but although we are preparing, many doors must still open. Thankfully, there are many talented people in our church right now who can do this work—this is something to be thankful for. Ultimately, this (the brain) must be healed, because it governs the whole body. But it does not end there—next is our spirit. That is why Hebrews 4:12 says, “It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow.”

“Communication with people”
With this in mind, today and next week the message we must forum on is communication with people. Since you are saved, how is your communication with others? Those who are saved have the Holy Spirit, so their way of seeing people is different. Those who are not saved do not have the Holy Spirit, so they see people from a worldly or self-centered perspective. We must not see people that way.

This gospel leaves an eternal mark even through a brief devotion. On Pentecost, people from fifteen nations who had come to Jerusalem received grace in the Mark’s Upper Room. After receiving grace, they offered to the Mark’s Upper Room church. That offering became the light economy that changed the world. Among them were people from Rome—that was the couple, Priscilla and Aquila. We must see people with such eyes. You never know what kind of plan God will fulfill through you. Certainly, no one knows what kind of plan God will fulfill through your children—only God knows.

So when we say we receive answers to prayer, it means that we understand these things and our spiritual state becomes aligned with them.

▣ Main

1. Upward (God – people) – pastors, church leaders, assistant ministers
In human relationships, there are always people above us. But when we look upward, we do not look only at those above us—we look at God who blesses us through them, and within that, we see people. From this perspective, pastors, church leaders, and assistant ministers are all extremely important. Even one assistant pastor in our church is very important. Most people do not have eyes to see this. If they do not, then all their efforts become vain, and their walk of faith is in vain. How can someone receive answers if they do not see the value of an elder or the value of the congregation? If someone does not see the pastor as precious, what use is it to listen to the sermon? This is extremely important.

2. Sideways (the field of answers)
Through this (the upward relationship), much of God’s blessing arises, and at the same time, we also have the sideways relationship. “Sideways” refers to the many fields of answers that are right next to us.

3. Downward (future – Remnant)
There are three directions. The downward direction refers to our future and to the Remnant. That is how important it is.

1. Upward (God – people) – pastors, church leaders, assistant ministers

1) Fulfillment of the Word
Through this (upward direction), God certainly fulfills His Word. That is why we hold onto the pulpit message—not the sermon itself, but the Word of God proclaimed through the pulpit. The fulfillment of this Word will surely take place. Even if all 7 billion people in the world deny it, it is true. That is why worship is so important.
2) Worship
During worship, we must receive great grace.
3) Prayer answers
Even in worship, we must hold onto the answers of prayer. Because God’s Word is surely fulfilled, you must gain strength through worship and go forth holding the answers of prayer in advance. This is the blessing that comes from above. Those who edit our district lessons based on my messages sometimes leave out this part (upward relationship).

2. Sideways (the field of answers) [Acts 18:1–4]
Looking at Acts 18:1–4, I realized that we must give you a slightly new message.

1) Rome (Acts 2:10)
There was an incident in Rome that brought people to Israel—this couple was Priscilla and Aquila. In Acts 2:10 it says, “visitors from Rome,” referring to people like them.
2) Acts 9:1–15
As you know, in Acts 9:1–15, God personally called and changed Paul, the one who would carry out world evangelization.
3) Corinth
Then they met in Corinth. Just before that, Paul had ministered in Athens, where he seemed to have failed—not because he truly failed, but because Athens was a very intellectual city. We all learned about Athens in school—it was a great center of knowledge. So Paul, without realizing it, had relied on intellect. Later he realized, “I resolved to know nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” Then he arrived in Corinth and met this team.

This is our sideways relationship. Who would have thought that this meeting would change the age? Only God knew. You must recognize—without arrogance—how precious you are in God’s blessing. If you do not know your own value, you will not recognize the value in others. Failing to see the value of the person beside you makes everything in vain. If you lose hold of the pulpit message and your human relationships, what will happen?

3. Downward (future – Remnant)
This refers to the next generation. Even small devotions given for the future generation will surely bring about God’s works.

1) Isaiah 6:13; 7:14; 60:1–22; 62:6–12
God showed Isaiah a vision and gave him a calling. Isaiah said, “Here am I, send me,” and God replied, “Send the Remnant.” Those who held to this covenant saw works arise even in Babylon. God said, “Teach them what the true gospel of the woman’s offspring is. When they shine their light, those in darkness will come to them. Set them as watchmen.” How blessed this is!
2) Paul
It did not end there. Paul staked his life on this.
(1) Acts 17:1 – He explained why Christ is necessary.
(2) Acts 18:4 – On the Sabbath, he taught what true worship is.
(3) Acts 19:8 – In the school of Tyrannus, he explained what true prayer is.
This is what we must teach the next generation.
3) RUTC
So that future generations may receive this blessing everywhere—the RUTC blessing. It is not a difficult term: Remnant Unity Training Center—a place for Remnants to unite and be trained.

▣ Conclusion
So what must we do as we open the three-day weekend age?

1. Talent (coming-of-age ceremony) – Our Remnants must discover their talents. Discovery comes through prayer.
2. Specialization (mission ceremony) – They must understand their specialization and be equipped with it. Their eyes must also open to see the world correctly.
3. Field (commissioning ceremony) – Then they must be sent out to the field.

Discovering one’s talent is called the coming-of-age ceremony. If the talent is not discovered, no matter the age, one is not truly an adult. Realizing one’s calling is the mission ceremony. And being ready to go into the field is not merely going into the world—it is being sent by God; this is the commissioning ceremony.

As you worship today, may you gain strength through deep prayer. Not only for six days of the week, but may the blessing of God’s kingdom continue in all your remaining time. Spend this Lord’s Day in prayer—it is such a blessing. Our church even has clean air! In your free time, enter into deep prayer.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Let there be a time of healing through deep prayer today. Let Your kingdom come upon every place where there are problems. Let this be a day of receiving true spiritual strength. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Communication with God and the Answer of 25

2023.09.17 District Message
Scripture Reading: Philippians 1:10

The greatest blessing you possess is communication with God. Unbelievers do not know this. At this time we come to enjoy the 25 answer.

▣ Introduction. The flow
When we actually go into the field, it is hard to say we will change the flow. Yet in the Bible and history, one woman in Egypt changed the entire flow—Jochebed. She did not do something “big,” but she was enjoying this part (communication with God). She changed it. And when the Philistine era opened, as you know, one woman—Hannah—changed the flow. Then you must become the protagonists who enjoy this blessing.

The world (the flesh)
When you mainly look, what flow is this world following? It is almost entirely following the flesh. We also go along like this, but this (the world/the flesh) is not us. However, if we have no power, we end up having to follow this (the world/the flesh).

The church (the law)
Even many churches keep fighting because they keep following the flow of the law. So “you are right, I am right, wrong, right”—they continue this fight, and even though the purpose of the law is actually love, right? they end up losing this (the law).

Self (Genesis 3, 6, 11)
Even we, if we are not careful, because we try to live by our own thoughts, we end up following the flow of Genesis 3, 6, and 11.

Therefore, if you know just this (Introduction) part, in fact you can change the flow easily.

▣ Main. The flow of God
We do not fight saying, “We must change the world,” but we follow the flow of God. There are nine things that change the flow; in today’s Lesson 38, three were presented.

1. Width
2. Height
3. Depth

If you combine these three (width, height, depth), that is information. We must not do anything without information. If you do business without any information, you will fail. If you go somewhere without any information, you will suffer. Likewise, it is the same with our spiritual matters.

1. Width [ Transcending time and space ]
What width do we follow? We possess the width that transcends time and space through communication with God, which no one knows. Do not be discouraged; you must pray. Do not be discouraged while praying for your family. Do not be discouraged because an answer does not come quickly as you pray over something. The answer that transcends time and space will surely come—an answer that no person can block.

2. Height [ What is most excellent ]
What is height? We look to and walk toward what is most excellent.

(1) Below common sense
If we are below common sense, things become difficult.

(2) Common sense
Many people live at the level of common sense. We cannot remain with only this.

(3) Beyond common sense
When you see beyond common sense—of course you keep common sense—you begin to see what belongs to God. What does this mean? If you suffer an injustice, what will you do? Suppose Joseph simply committed suicide—that is below common sense, right? “I will surely survive and return and avenge myself on my brothers”—that is common sense. “Ah, this is not that my brothers sold me; God is sending me to fulfill His plan for world evangelization”—that is beyond common sense. It is simple, isn’t it? Keep discovering like this. Then the answer that changes every flow will surely come to you. Think about it: one person like us with no power—that you would change the flow is tremendous. And it changes by this (Main 2).

An elder I know said of himself—didn’t I tell you before—that he could only finish elementary school. It was such a grief to him that he studied hard and sent all his younger siblings to Seoul National University. He went to work; everyone used a pair of gloves once and threw them away. He picked them up, washed them all, and put them back. “Oh?” People used them again. He did not do it to show anyone—he just thought it was a waste. He washed them and brought them back. Later people found out. Those above also found out. Over such a small thing—God seated him in a high position. Though he lacked schooling, he had that kind of faith. He had only finished elementary school, yet later—during President Park Chung-hee’s era—he was appointed professor at the Saemaeul Training Institute. That is height.

What is width? Your prayer transcends time and space. You must surely remember this.

3. Depth [ God’s plan ]
What is depth? We see the plan of God. No matter what anyone says, our lives are governed by God, so we look at God’s plan.

(1) Absolute plan
Even when it is very difficult, and even when prayer does not go well, think, “What is God’s absolute plan?” These people all saw this.

(2) Absolute timetable
Then God’s absolute timetable comes. It comes when you are fixed on that plan.

(3) Timetable to save
At that time, just as with the Remnants, the timetable to save others comes. From then on, you become witnesses and works arise.

▣ Conclusion
What is the conclusion?
[ 12 strategies of Satan ]
When spiritual communication with God takes place, you are completely set free from the twelve strategies of Satan.
[ Plan ]
Even if it seems a bit difficult, when things are hard and you pray, you come to see God’s plan. You will see it like this.
[ WIO ]
Then at last, among the important answers you receive, what answer is it? You come to know that God is with me, that He is with us as Immanuel, and that He is with us in all things.
[ Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation ]
From then on, in your studies and work, what answer comes? The answer of Only comes. Then the timetable of Uniqueness is firmly established. Then comes Re-creation. No matter what anyone says, Immanuel Seoul, which is under construction—though the main part has been completed—is still continuing. In Busan, Ulsan, Changwon, and many places churches are arising, and no one will be able to block this evangelism movement, this movement of the age. From now on, begin your challenge.

1. [ Books ] – Editing
In my case, since I did not know how to do it, I checked many books on those matters. Studying is most important. There is no other way. There is a limit to asking people; when I looked up many books, something became visible—editing.

2. [ The Word ] – Design (blueprint)
But truly, as I prayed, it was not books I saw but the Word. In the past, when I read the Book of Acts, there was no enjoyment for me. “It’s all talk about houses—what is this, a real-estate office?” That is how I felt. Once evangelism was edited and I understood it, I began to see the Word of God exactly. This is called the blueprint that discerns God’s plan. You just need to challenge.

3. [ The field ] – Design (in practice)
Once this answer came, even if you are very dull, you begin to see the field. This is what we call design.

Books are not merely for “studying”—they let you meet many people without going to them. Right? Without going to Europe myself, there is only one way to meet it—by reading. To meet many national presidents? There is no time. So you read. Therefore, there is nothing difficult. I read over 100 books about evangelism. Then—oh?—your thinking begins to change. But it is not finished with that. As I enjoyed it in prayer, I saw the Word. The Word became alive and worked powerfully. Why must we build the sanctuary? The three courtyards. I began to see the Word. Why must we build the sanctuary? The 237 nations, healing, summit. I began to see the Word like this. Then you can see the field. Even if you do not hold high degrees, or many degrees, you can do it like this (Conclusion).

For over thirty years I have practiced the breathing that preserves health; I also read over 100 books on that. While doing it with prayer I have seen great effect. To the point that—without dye—my hair is fine, and my eyesight is not dim. Do I sleep much? I slept only two hours last night. I am fine—continually enjoying prayer like this. I have evidence. Therefore, do not be discouraged; from now on, challenge. God will surely fulfill His Word.

Even today, in your empty moments, you must enter into deep prayer. On the Lord’s Day that is most important. Do not think many thoughts. Enter deep prayer. An acquaintance of mine, a deacon, did nothing criminal, but because he could not pay another’s debt he went to prison. There he should have prayed much. But he thought much. Do you know what happens if you think much? You come out holding onto something else. He came to me and said he would go to seminary. I was truly frustrated. I could not tell him not to go. By what right could I say that? By what authority could I criticize him? He was a bit unusual—how could I criticize? Already, I myself, lacking as I am, became a pastor and feel sorry; how could I tell him not to? Why did it turn out that way? Because he thought too much. For unbelievers, thinking is important. Right? Though a reed, it is called “a thinking reed”—that is where the phrase came from. That is for unbelievers. If you think much, you fall into Genesis 3, 6, and 11. We are those who must pray much. It is surely different. At least on the Lord’s Day, do not entertain other thoughts. Do not think—begin prayer, holding onto the Word. Evidence will surely appear in your health, your work, and your studies. Therefore I bless you to become those witnesses in the name of Jesus Christ. Let me pray.

Prayer. Grant us communication with God today to gain spiritual strength. In deep prayer, let health be restored. In deep prayer, grant us power to solve many spiritual problems. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Seven Guideposts

The Seven Guideposts
1 May the power of the blood of the cross at Calvary come upon every place I go.
2 May the covenant of the Mount of Olives, the things pertaining to God’s kingdom, be fulfilled wherever I go,
3 May the work of God that came upon the Mark’s Upper Room come upon me.
4 May Your time schedule that appeared in Antioch appear in me.
5 Grant me the very work that took place in Asia, Paul’s first mission field, where all the answers were discovered.
6 Help me find the life-turning point that Paul’s team discovered [Macedonia].
7And, grant me the grace to see Rome as well.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Five Assurances and the Eternal Answer

2024.10.06 District Message
Scripture Reading: 2 Timothy 3:14-15

We cannot pray doing nothing for twenty-four hours.
[ 3 concentrations ]
However, if prayer takes place for me when I wake up in the morning, I can recover almost everything. And if at night I can obtain answers through the Word, there is nothing more important than that—because there is day in between. We call this the three concentrations. You must surely do this.
[ 3 settings ]
If our Remnants simply pray a bit in the morning and a bit at night, something tremendous is formed. This (the three settings) is formed.
[ 3 answers ]
From then on, important things are seen in advance. That is the three answers.
[ 3 concentrations ][ 24 ]
This is what we call 24. How could we do just one thing the same way for twenty-four hours? We cannot. Even when you pray a little, it is so. Personally, to you and to our elders, I want to say this: in the morning, truly gain strength and recover all. And at night, obtain the answer of the Word and then sleep. Then the daytime comes alive. That is 24.
[ 3 settings ][ 25 ]
When this happens, something is built. Simply put, God’s bartizan, journey—these are formed. That is the three settings. We call this 25. With our own strength we cannot save people, so we need this strength.
[ 3 answers ][ eternity ]
More importantly, as you keep finding answers in problems, conflicts, and crises, you begin to see what is eternal. In the end, we are living inside this. Now, why do we do this?
[ accurate covenant ]
There are many reasons, but as we continue this, the accurate covenant becomes clear to us. This is important. No matter how excellent you are, if you hold a wrong covenant, it is useless. Hold the accurate covenant. (2 Timothy 3:14–15) Then, as Paul said to Timothy, assurance comes to us. With the accurate covenant and assurance, we can believe.
[ answers ]
When you do this, tremendous things happen. People do not really know what true answers are.
[ 7·7·7 ]
When you pray this way—when you worship today, and when you hold the military-missions assembly—this (7·7·7) is formed. It begins to be formed. This is the answer. What is produced outwardly is a result. This first comes upon me.
[ the throne – kingdom, work – darkness broken ]
Here, what Jesus emphasized most is the throne. When it comes, God’s kingdom. And the work of God’s kingdom. At such a time, because the kingdom has come, darkness is broken.
[ the army of heaven ]
At that time, something you never even thought of—people hardly think of it—appears very often in Scripture: the armies of God’s kingdom. Heavenly hosts and angels are mentioned often. Because we look only at what is visible to the eye, these look valueless. Even pastors do not believe this, so how can the congregation believe? But Jesus spoke of this and left—it is accurate to say He spoke of this from the beginning. “Why do you pray asking for such needless things?” Jesus said that, didn’t He? “Doesn’t God know what you need? Therefore pray for the kingdom of God.” This is it. Everything is contained here. Because this is invisible, no one can steal it. There are no competitors here—why? Because they do not come. There are scarcely any pastors praying over this. They just keep asking for things. What are you asking for? This (7·7·7; throne–kingdom, work–darkness broken; the army of heaven) must first be formed in me; then spiritual strength arises and many works begin to happen. When a person who has this answer continues this (three concentrations – 24, three settings – 25, three answers – eternity), the darkness within the military begins to collapse. And—though I began in a 12-pyeong room, and in Seoul we began in the Seocho preaching point, a basement—now the five thousand tribes have begun to gather. That is the result. This is what matters.

▣ Introduction

  1. Jews – three years
So there is something we should reference a little: the Jews continued to believe what was wrong. It is very lamentable. Therefore during three years Jesus spoke only what would overturn everything. Take this to heart. The Jews did not receive answers, disaster came, and they did not know why it came. They still do not know. As you know, in Washington there is a place where their sufferings are collected and displayed. Looking at that, Jews make resolutions. That’s fine as far as it goes, but they do not know the reason. Even now Jews do not know why. When we tried to give them the gospel, they said, “We are the chosen people; you are Gentiles.” Will there not be war? God promised to send the Christ, but they taught that the Messiah would save Israel and crush other nations. That is wrong. They taught, “You must keep all the Law to be saved.” So when the gospel was given to the Jews, they did something else—and disaster came. Never hold to what is wrong.
  2. Mark’s upper room – limitation
The church that began in Mark’s upper room did not evangelize Rome. Right? One must go to Rome—this is the last message of our military-missions conference today—one must go to Rome, where the 237 nations and 5,000 tribes are. They did not go. They were not “wrong,” but they revealed a limitation. What limitation? They did not understand this (7·7·7; throne–kingdom, work–darkness broken; the army of heaven).
  3. Rome – warfare
So the ones who appeared were Paul’s team. Paul’s team accomplished world evangelization. The disciples they taught arose and conquered Rome. Unbelievable, but true—they conquered Rome. Christianity changed rapidly. Why? Because the emperor—of every nation, the Roman emperor—had to go to worship on the Lord’s Day. Now this is no ordinary matter. Churches were established everywhere, and it became important which church the emperor would attend. Then the head of the whole church was the pope. Thus the king and the pope clashed. With power came such problems; many wars arose.

▣ Main – Acts 19:8
There was one who understood these words: Paul. “He explained the kingdom of God boldly.” When? After he had finished all his evangelism, at the time he had to enter Rome. Important, isn’t it? Then at Tyrannus he caused the work of God to arise. He showed it then—in Tyrannus. He explained about the kingdom of God—boldly, and for three months. He understood well. So you must understand the covenant accurately. Jesus said, “It is finished.” The world church still holds what He told us not to do and keeps doing it—so the church does not stand. Be diligent, yes—but do not be diligent about what Jesus told you not to do. When you grasp it this way, five assurances come.

「 Five assurances 」

  1. Assurance of salvation – [ Christ ]
First, assurance of salvation. I am a child of God who has been saved. This is not accounting; it is relationship. What we do to receive answers matters, but it is about relationship with God. We are spiritual beings—children of God. What is the evidence? Simply this: through anything else you cannot become a child of God. If this (Christ) is understood, you become a child of God. Nothing else suffices. I have even said it to Buddhist monks: the best “religion,” in human estimation, is Buddhism. But if you do not know this (Christ), you cannot be saved. If so, then the worst religion is Buddhism—because it says, “No need for anything else; I myself become Buddha.” That is a fearful statement: “I become Nephilim.” It is the same content as the first words of the devil: “You will be like God.” Magnificent words, humanly speaking.
If you remember nothing else, passages like 1 John 5:11–13 give the most answers. See the small-group guide. The basis of the assurance of salvation is Christ.
  2. Assurance of guidance – [ the Triune God ]
Next is this: Christ leads us perfectly in a way unseen to the eye. You must believe this—entirely unseen—by the Spirit of the Triune God. Therefore you may have assurance. When I went out to evangelize, by temperament I was not good at going around looking for people, so I went out with sure answers. Paul did that. To the point that he even fasted in order to receive perfect leading by the Holy Spirit. So must we.
  3. Assurance of answered prayer – [ the Name ]
More than that: assurance of answered prayer. Most people miss this and therefore have many anxieties. What is most important here? “Pray in My name.” In other words, you no longer need to slaughter calves. You no longer need to offer lambs. Those were prophetic pointers; you need not do that now. Do not catch a calf and so on—pray directly in My name. In John 17:11–12, the name of Jesus Christ is called God’s name. See it carefully. “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call His name Immanuel.” The name the forces of darkness fear most is the name of Jesus Christ.
Some even get irritated when the name is used—those not saved. Some who come to church do not like it when we keep speaking the gospel—those not saved. When you have a stomach disease or cancer, you dislike eating—eating is hard. Right? But a healthy person ate so much yesterday and is hungry again today—that is a living person. If you water a dead tree, it rots; if you water a living tree, it thrives. It is the same.
You must have assurance—whatever the case, when you pray, answers must come. Therefore I say, form this (7·7·7; throne–kingdom, work–darkness broken; the army of heaven). It has not been formed. We keep doing only what is visible. What is visible is the result. If you have been shocked and agonized for three months and fell ill—this is a result. I told you before: a friend returned from the Vietnam War and, because of what he experienced, he suffered epilepsy—that is a result; the shock had already entered his inner person. This (7·7·7; throne–kingdom, work–darkness broken; the army of heaven) must first come; this is the answer to prayer. Jesus spoke of this: “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” I pondered this long and found this prayer (7·7·7; throne–kingdom, work–darkness broken; the army of heaven). It is exactly what Jesus explained so simply in Scripture. We keep ignoring that and praying other prayers. Even in the car coming here I kept praying this. It is so good.
  4. Assurance of forgiveness – [ disaster ]
Fourth, the assurance of forgiveness. No one can overcome disaster. Therefore Christ resolved on the cross all the disasters you should have borne.
  5. Assurance of victory – [ reason ]
Assurance of victory—1 Corinthians 10:13. God gives us trials we can bear and makes us overcome them. “Gives trials we can bear” means this: every trial that happens to you has a reason. God has a reason to give you answers and victory. So what do these words mean? If a rather big trial is coming this time, it means you are a rather big vessel. Be prepared. “A great difficulty has come to me”—then see it as “I will receive a great answer.” That is accurate. Of course, having no trial at all is nice, but it is not necessarily the best. Why? On the day we leave this earth, there are no more trials—that’s the end. While we live, there are trials. God will surely give you victory—for a reason: because we must do world evangelization.

▣ Conclusion

  1. God’s standard
Most important, we each have our own thoughts. That seems normal, but we are easily struck down by them. If it is certain that God is with you like this, then we must change our standard. Right? When you do so, answers keep coming. If it is certain that—unseen to the eye—by the Spirit of the Triune God, with the power of the throne, God is with me, then this (God’s standard) is how it becomes.
  2. God’s plan
Therefore, we go seeing this—God’s plan. We must discover God’s plan for our church in order to be a proper church. Look at our church: why is the closing of this important military-missions conference being held at our church? This is a tremendous blessing for our church. Soldiers all over the world are hearing the message now—then we must quickly discover, “What is God’s plan for our church?” In the early days, half of the associate pastors were paid by the church but worked outside as well. Why? Because we had to do world evangelization—discover it quickly. Discover God’s plan.
  3. Flow (prayer, Word, testimony)
Finally, confirm this today: there are surely three flows—of answered prayer, of the Word, and of the testimony (rather than “evangelism,” the testimony you receive). See it this way.
Then the day of worship today is the time of Mount Calvary, the time of Mt Olive, the time of Mark’s upper room, the time of Antioch. Right? The time of worship today is the time of Asian missions in which Paul received perfect leading by the Holy Spirit. The time of worship today is the time when the difficult parts in my life become turning points—“Come over to Macedonia.” The time of worship and prayer today is “You must also see Rome.” I have just spoken of the important seven guideposts. That is the aim.
May the blessing of restoring the five powers overflow for you as you pray all day today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You. We thank You that today we offer the Lord’s Day worship to God as a military-missions service. Let the most important disciple ministry for military missions arise. Let one person who receives answers become the beginning of saving one region. Let one person who has the covenant become the one through whom a nation is saved. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Seven Journeys

The Seven Journeys
1 Lord, come upon me and lead me on the path guided by the Triune God.
2 I have many difficulties.
Help me enjoy the Ten Mysteries so I can find the path that You are leading me on.
3 People speak according to what they have heard, what they think, what they assume, and they even add to it
May the Ten Foundations be firmly established in me.
4 There is no hardship that can overcome the Gospel.
May the Five Assurances be my answer.
5 I must change [your mission field].
By Your power, help me enjoy the Nine Streams of the throne.
6 Grant me the answer I can enjoy for the rest of my life.
7 I am going to [your mission field].
May every place and meeting become the camp of the throne.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Seven Bartizans

The Seven Bartizans
1 May the Triune God work powerfully within me; take full control of my thoughts, heart, soul, and body.
2 Let the power of the throne come on me.
May Your kingdom be established in my life.
May the power that transcends time and space—the power to reach 237 nations and 5,000 tribes—rest on me.
May this power come upon my life, my soul, and my daily life.
May unprecedented and never-repeated answers be revealed in my studies, work, church, and mission field.
3 May Your mighty power work in my past, present, and future.
4 Fill me with the Five Powers at this time.
5 Grant me the power that transcends time and space to overcome the ruler of the kingdom of the air.
6 Enable me to see the blessing of the CVDIP in advance
7 May the power to build the Three Courtyards, in the Age of the Three-Day Weekend and the Holy Meditation, come upon me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Assurance of Victory and the Answer of 25

2023.04.23 District Message
Scripture Reading: 1 Corinthians 10:13

Next week’s small-group lesson is Assurance of Victory and the 25 Answers.
If it is not assured, it will not be imprinted. Only what you are assured of becomes imprinted, and answers come according to what is imprinted. If that is so, when you become assured of the wrong things, it is disastrous.

▣ Introduction

  1. Salvation – The covenant
Today, we—we are the saved. Those who are saved must surely hold to God’s covenant and not be deceived. You must hold to this firmly. Then God will lead us all our lives. What happens if you do not have this assurance?
  2. Worry
Worry arises—because there is no assurance. When you worship on the Lord’s Day, you must prepare properly for worship. It is said that someone like Rockefeller came an hour early on Sundays to pray. His parents did so. Because his parents were seasoned in the life of faith, they told him, “Don’t chatter at church. Pray.” “Since you are a businessman, if you earn much and give much, that is a good life of faith.” So he would always arrive an hour early on Sundays and begin worship—praying. Then answers have no choice but to come.
Regarding your worship or a major conference, you must prepare a vessel that fits it. Right? The Lord’s Day must become the day you hold to the highest covenant by which you live and win the week.

1) Job 3:25
What happens if you worry? In Job 3:25, Satan strikes precisely the area you worry about.

2) 1 John 4:18–19
In 1 John 4:18–19 it says, “Fear has to do with punishment.” We should not fear—but if we fear the wrong things, a very fearful outcome follows.

3) 1 Peter 5:7–8
Even in 1 Peter 5:7–8 it says, “Cast all your anxieties on Him.” Not only “Do not worry,” but “Cast your anxieties on the LORD.” And then comes an important word: “Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”

▣ Main
Hold to this covenant, with assurance—what must you be assured of?

  1. The people of the covenant
You are the people of the covenant.

1) John 19:30
Christ said on the cross, “It is finished.” Be assured. For me, answers began here. “It is finished—yet I am poor.” What does that mean? I found my answer there. If it is finished, why am I not doing well? I found my answer there.
When I was in graduate school, my prayer was, “I should study abroad.” That door did not open. A classmate of mine—truly poor at English—went. Then I realized, “God has finished everything—why am I trying to ‘finish’ something?” From then on, I entered daily into the fields where no one else went. I received tremendous answers. We keep trying to set up our own plans. If you pray, God’s plan will surely emerge. Believe this.

2) 1 Corinthians 3:16
“The Spirit of God dwells in you.” This is the saved. This implies that in the unbeliever the spirit of Satan dwells. “Do you not know that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”

3) Romans 8:31–39
Believe this. Nothing—no power—can separate you from the hand of Christ. No one can snatch you from His hand. Be assured.

4) 2 Corinthians 4:7–9
Even if you are hard-pressed on every side, you are not crushed. You may be struck down—but not destroyed. Be assured. When hardship comes, we tend to throw ourselves into hardship.
Suppose you are kidnapped and sold into human trafficking. How would you feel? Terrified. Sold into the hands of traffickers—you might die at any moment. Who is that? Joseph. Do not fear. That was the road to Egypt. Joseph could not go there on his own; he was sold. Where did the traffickers take him? To Egypt. Astonishing. They could have taken him to some rural farm—then he could not have done world evangelization. What if they had taken him to a restaurant? Instead, he was placed precisely as a slave in the house of Potiphar, captain of the guard, in Egypt’s center of power. Open your eyes to this. As a complete slave, he was placed in Potiphar’s house. Without wavering, Joseph prayed there. There, the kingdom of God came. Right?
Do you have something “difficult”? It only looks difficult. It is not. Something greater is unfolding. He was falsely accused and sent to prison. What would you do? In our expression—enough to go mad. He had done no wrong. That was the road to make Joseph governor. Do not forget this.

5) 1 Peter 2:9
In 1 Peter 2:9 God gave us something tremendous. What? Not merely protection from the forces of darkness, but the authority to break them—He made us a royal priesthood. He gave this blessing. Be assured.

6) Philippians 1:6
He will carry you on to completion until the day of Christ. Not that everything is already completed—but that He is carrying it on. There is nothing to worry about. You do not need to use humanism. When true answers to prayer start coming to you, you do not even need your own plans. Right? If God’s work truly arises in you, you do not need your own assertions. If God’s work truly arises, the many theories you thought up—you do not need them. You must surely receive such answers this time. Enjoy the 3·9·3.

  1. The seven Remnants
The seven Remnants are the evidence. We already spoke of Joseph—the seven Remnants are the evidence; view them through five lenses.

1) Absolute sovereignty
We believe in God’s absolute sovereignty. Right? When do you go to heaven? It is in God’s hand.

2) Absolute plan
God’s absolute plan—just find it. Whether answers come when problems come, or difficulties arise, it does not matter—what is God’s absolute plan? You need not be lazy, nor need you be needlessly over-zealous. What is God’s absolute plan?

3) Absolute covenant
Then the third emerges—the absolute covenant of God.

4) Absolute journey
From that point, what happens? From then on you go, enjoying answers—the absolute journey emerges. Right?

5) Absolute goal
And what then? The absolute goal emerges. This is where we are headed—what God has made. You may be assured.
Do you face some hardship? Through this small-group lesson, find the answer. And tomorrow, when you go out, you will meet many people. Lead them to know God’s absolute plan.

  1. The seven great journeys
At this time, you inevitably enter the seven great journeys. What are they?

1) The Triune
In your life, invisibly, you go the journey in which the Triune God is with you.

2) The ten mysteries (the other side)
Here emerges something crucial: you survive under any circumstances—the ten mysteries. If I pick one word from the ten mysteries—the true answers are all on the other side. It looks like the problem is here, but the answers are on the opposite side. Right? “How could he be falsely accused and imprisoned after receiving answers?” The answer is elsewhere. Do not be shaken by many voices.

3) The ten platforms (the Word)
The ten platforms. If I must pick one from the platforms—what is it? God’s Word. It does not change. From the earliest days, many longstanding church leaders have been with me—you know I have done nothing. Elders usually labored; I gave few directives. I did nothing. If you just hold to the covenant, it is enough. Because the missions conference is so important, strangely I could not sleep for two whole nights. My eyes were only slightly red; I felt fine. You will pray—so even if I doze, please understand. Truly, I could not sleep for two nights. I received so much grace. Preparing the message and praying—I received so much grace. Why do I say this? When pastors go to preach on Sunday, they must ask for God’s absolute things. Do not do “my things.” Dear saints, you must seek and deliver God’s absolute things. Right? You must. On this precious Lord’s Day—you must seek God’s absolute. The Word does not shake.

4) The flow
And then—there is surely a flow. We are not fighting; we are reversing the flow. Why do we do the Remnant movement? To change the world’s flow. Why the 237 movement? To change the world’s flow.

5) Assurance
From here come the five assurances. What are they? You are God’s children—the assurance of salvation. When you pray, answers come—the assurance of answered prayer. It looks like problems are coming, but you will win—the assurance of victory. The curses you should have borne ended at the cross—the assurance of forgiveness. What is visible is not God—that is an idol. God invisibly leads you—the assurance of guidance.

6) 62, CVDIP
Then what comes? The things for your lifetime come into view ahead of time—the 62. In one phrase, CVDIP comes clearly into view.

7) Camp
Lastly, what is it? Your entire life—your work—is the camp of the throne. What is today’s worship? Camp. You must receive great grace. You must build the spiritual bartizan. Right? If you do not understand, from now on say nothing—just sigh for three days. You will likely need a hospital. Conversely, think for three days, “I am receiving such great grace from God,” and see. People miss this enormous reality; some do not even know the value of worship. Pastors must always seek God’s absolute plan, pray, and deliver it.

▣ Conclusion
What conclusion emerges?

1) 237
Then the work we do—your work and studies—are set to match this: the 237. Only then can you do world evangelization. Only then will you make money.

2) The throne
Each week is important; you must truly receive strength. Both the first and second services are important. The first service is the time to speak the final missions commission for missionaries—important. The second service is the timetable for our 237 and all our missions teams and many such workers to hold the covenant. At this time, the blessing of the throne comes upon all your work and studies. It must.

3) Disasters (light)
Receiving this, you shine the light that blocks disasters. Because Christ is the light, even if you merely pray in the name of Jesus Christ, the light comes. While worshiping today, you must pray much within worship—in the name of Jesus Christ.

He went as a slave, but became governor. He went as an adopted son, yet became a truly global leader. Right? Samuel and David, who were separated from their parents as children, became great leaders. So, hold to the covenant—even if answers have not yet come, it is fine. They will surely come, but even if they do not, it is fine. What I love most in the whole world is this: “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the LORD will deliver us.” I value even more what follows: “But even if He does not, we will not bow to idols.” Right. Even if we drown in the Red Sea, we will go into the Red Sea. That is faith. God promised to part the Red Sea. Today, many missionaries who have come from all over the nation and the world—may this be the day you receive great strength from God. Our precious guests from Vanuatu—may you receive great grace from God. Let us pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Let this be the day the unseen power of the throne is manifested. Let us set up spiritual bartizans that save the world and shine the light. While we worship and pray today, let disease depart. Let the darkness crumble. Let every curse be bound. Let every disaster be bound. Let the glory of God appear. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

The Assurance of Forgiveness and the Answer of 25

2023.04.16 District Message
Scripture Reading: 1 John 1:9

Many people in the world do not know why they should go to church. They do not know why they should go and worship. They also do not know why the world continually experiences schizophrenia, suffering, and many problems. Suddenly, within just a few years, the number of people suffering from mental illness has greatly increased worldwide. Unable to endure, some have set fires. Without any reason, they kill people—it is not in their right mind. They do not even know why. This week, through your district Bible study, you must surely enjoy and convey something important.

God has forgiven us and granted atonement—but what exactly did He do? Only when you know this can you have assurance. Only then can you receive the 25 answers. Rather than explaining it with excessive complexity, there is something essential you must know and convey. If someone commits a crime and goes to prison—well, in a sense, that is inevitable, is it not? It is only right. If they suffer there, realize their wrong, and come out—then it is done. “I will never commit that crime again.” Then that’s enough. Or if someone says, “I used to do bad things, but I will stop,” then stop doing them. Is that not so? Jesus did not bear the cross because of such things. Why did Jesus bear the cross?

▣ Introduction

1. The sin of leaving God. The sin of leaving God—losing the way—that is why He bore the cross. To heal a cold? A cold can be cured with medicine, can it not? If I have bad habits, I can fix them. For that, there is no need for a church, nor is there a need to attend one. But this sin can never be solved without the mystery of the cross of Christ.

1) Genesis 3:4–5. In Genesis chapter 3, this tremendous incident occurred—being seized by Satan.

2) Genesis 6:4–5. As you know, after leaving God, people tried to live diligently but became Nephilim.

3) Genesis 11:1–8. They tried to live diligently, but in the end, they gained nothing. They became the Tower of Babel. They left God.

2. The spiritual problem of ancestors and the family line. Because of this, tremendous spiritual problems arose in the ancestors and family line. It may not appear outwardly, but they arose in many ways, both large and small.

1) Acts 13. So what are people doing all over the world? The sorcery found in Acts chapter 13.

2) Acts 16. The divination found in Acts chapter 16.

3) Acts 19. The great idol worship found in Acts chapter 19. People fall into these. Unbelievers do not consider these sins at all.

3. Suffering. As a result, what happens? Because they left God, continual suffering comes. What are the six types of suffering? People do not know at all.

1) John 8:44. Jesus taught, “You belong to your father, the devil.” That is serious. People are under this (John 8:44). They do not even realize it. Would any respectable person consider what is in (Introduction 1–2) to be sin? This is the difference. Having remained unaware for so long, the problem cannot be solved.

2) Exodus 20:1–5. Because suffering comes, without realizing it, they worship idols. Without realizing it—because they are so distressed and frustrated—they go to fortune-tellers. They continue to commit the grave sin that destroys even the next generation.

3) Matthew 11:28. Then illness of the heart begins. They thought this would bring happiness, but illness of the heart comes.

4) Acts 8:4–8. Physical sickness also comes—and it cannot be cured.

5) Matthew 27:25. It is passed down to the children.

6) Luke 16:19–31. It does not end there. One day they face death—and we must teach that death is not the end. They go straight to hell.

4. Disaster. The serious thing is that people were unaware of all this (Introduction 1–3), but from a certain time, global disasters have continually struck.

5. Crime. As a result, what happens most often now? (Murder) Crimes of murder arise more and more. People do not know that it all began from here (Introduction 1). Judges cannot sentence based on this (Main 1–3). They can only judge the act of killing.

(Suicide) What is the reverse of murder? Suicide. Suicide is also murder. Murder kills another; suicide kills oneself. People have fallen deeply into such problems. And because they have no happiness,

(Gambling) they rush into gambling. Among all industries in the world, gambling is where the most money is made and is the largest. You may live without relation to it, but most people with wealth, when they go abroad, always go to casinos. They fall into it. Losing money is serious, but even worse, borrowing there and being unable to repay leads to murder and great tragedies.

Christ
Therefore, to remove the cause of all these sins (Introduction 1–3), God promised to send Christ. That was God’s promise. Who would understand this? Intellectuals? Even those who study much do not know. Meanwhile, they remain trapped in (Introduction 1–3).

(Drugs) Even more seriously, when neither this nor that brings comfort, they give up. Thus, what is most popular now? Drugs. You may have nothing to do with it, but many young people in the field are falling rapidly into it. Truly, those with spiritual problems cannot escape once they fall into drugs. It is a grave situation.

There was a case: five boys went to catch frogs and died—still a mystery. Many theories exist, but one thing is certain. If the perpetrator had been known, they should have tracked those with mental illness. Without mental illness, no one would kidnap and kill five unrelated children and bury them in a mountain. Is that not so? Because they do not understand this, the police can only labor without finding the truth.

All these realities of darkness—Christ solved them completely on the cross. That is why this message follows.

▣ Main Message

1. Unconditional forgiveness. God forgives unconditionally. If conditions are attached, He cannot forgive. Seeing a thief, you might forgive by saying, “Hey, don’t steal again.” That is possible. But this enormous problem (Introduction) cannot be solved that way. Therefore, God forgives unconditionally those who believe in Christ. Do you understand?

1) The reason. Why is that?

(1) Original sin. Because original sin can never be solved. This (Introduction 1–3) is original sin. And this is the twelve original sins stemming from Satan’s strategy. These two (Introduction 4–5) follow from it. Therefore, escaping from this sin (Introduction 1–3) and being saved has no condition. There is no requirement of “how much” to do.

(2) Curse. Then there are many curses in the family line—hidden but unsolved. God promises to forgive and solve them unconditionally. That is why He promised Christ and commanded us to believe in Him. “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you and your household will be saved.” You must tell people this.

2) Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23. Therefore, in Romans 3:10 it says, “There is no one righteous, not even one.” There cannot be. So God promised Christ. In Romans 3:23 it says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” People do not understand what that means. It means everyone has fallen into this (Introduction 1). They cannot reach God’s glory. So God sent Christ and determined to forgive unconditionally. That is the meaning. Therefore, “For God so loved the world.” “That whoever believes in the Lord Jesus may have eternal life.”

3) Genesis 3:15, Exodus 3:18, Matthew 16:16–20. So what kind of Christ did God send? “The offspring of the woman will crush the serpent’s head.” Simply put, Christ will break the power of Satan. Do you now understand? People perish without knowing this problem (Introduction 1–3), so God brings this to those who believe. Because we must be set free, they were liberated on the day of the blood sacrifice. You cannot help it—you will be delivered from all the darkness surrounding you. Therefore, in Matthew 16:16–20, when Peter confessed, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” what tremendous promise came? “The gates of Hades will not overcome you.” When he confessed that, he was set free. The powers of darkness will not overcome you.

2. Assurance. Therefore, you must have assurance about this. You may think, “I already believe, so what assurance do I need?” But for those still tormented by spiritual problems, how can they overcome? Because this is reality—fight with assurance. When you have assurance, there are a few things to reference.

1) Genesis 3:15, Genesis 6:14, Genesis 12:1–3. You must reference these (Genesis 3:15; 6:14; 12:1–3) because they are the way out of Genesis 3, 6, and 11.

2) Romans 7:23–25. Next, what assurance must you have? The power God gives you is not a power obtainable from the world. Today’s first service message, Romans 7:23–25, is very important. It contains Paul’s confession—please refer carefully.

3) John 9:3. In John 9:3, when asked, “Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.” You must have assurance—otherwise, you cannot escape.

3. True healing. From the moment you gain assurance, true healing begins. From now on, pray only this prayer.

1) 1·3·8. The prayer that came from Mt Olive—through the Triune God, through Christ, only by the Holy Spirit, and the coming of God’s Kingdom—only this prayer brings healing.

2) Throne (Kingdom). The world does not know this. Jesus explained for forty days: “With the power of the throne I will be with you. The work of God’s Kingdom will be fulfilled.” From then, healing and the work of answers began.

3) 24·25·Eternity. When you receive this blessing, you enjoy the answer of 24·25·eternity that revives the past, present, and future—the three ages. Experience it for yourself.

▣ Conclusion [Deep Prayer]
Here is the conclusion. From now on, you must do this—have one time of deep prayer each day. Amazing answers will come. Then you will be able to speak with certainty. In today’s first service, many important things will come out. When you begin to pray properly, you will experience it. Then transformation comes—because when you experience God’s power, you change. No matter what others say, you will not be shaken. Why? Because those who have not experienced God’s power talk about many things. It does not matter. In a sense, it is fine to listen to everything others say, right or wrong. Because you enjoy God’s power, works will arise.

Especially, pastors across the nation and the world must remember this. Congregants will say many things. Just listen. Understand and listen. But that does not bring transformation. You must experience God’s power. Only then can you save your congregants. Those who are broken will speak broken words, and those who are mentally unstable will speak strange words—there will be many. Listen and help them. But when you experience God’s power, you can change everything. May you surely become witnesses who enjoy this experience. I bless you in the name of Jesus.

Prayer. God, we thank You. In this time of concentration, let us experience Your grace. As we pray today, let Your Kingdom come upon our field. As we worship and pray all day, may Your Holy Spirit work. Let all hardship, all darkness, and all unbelief be bound. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Assurance of Answers and the Answer of 25

2023.04.09 District Message
Scripture Reading: Mark 11:24

We are standing before our important missionary convention. We are also praying, “What is the temple that God most desires in this age?” At such a time, you must receive important answers.

The assurance regarding the answer is important. It does not simply mean to “believe firmly,” but rather to hold on to the precise covenant. Only then will the 25 answers come. In the Gospel of Mark 11:24, it says, “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.” Does this mean that if you pray with faith, a mountain will actually move? Has a mountain ever moved? What does this mean? You must understand this clearly.

▣ Introduction
[Mark 11:21] Fig tree
To understand this properly, we must begin from verse 21. Before verse 21, what happened? As Jesus and His disciples were on their way, Jesus saw a fig tree hoping to eat its fruit, but there was none. But Jesus was not someone who would act rashly. He cursed the fig tree. The disciples should have asked, “Lord, why did You curse it?” They should have asked, because it was not the season for figs. The Bible clearly states that. Then why did He seek fruit when it was not the season for it? Why curse it when it naturally had none? They should have asked that question. But they didn’t, so Jesus gave no answer. Then, later, they passed by and saw, “Oh! The fig tree has withered!” That’s verse 21. Then the quick-tongued Peter said, “Oh! The fig tree has really withered!”

If we are not careful, our walk of faith becomes like that. Isn’t that so? The Word of God is revealed, but we don’t believe. Then when problems occur, we say, “Oh?” and when answers come, we get excited and say, “Oh, the answer came!” That’s dangerous. No, when Jesus spoke the Word, we must ask, “What does this Word mean?” Instead, people just react to sermons. Sermons themselves are not the main thing. The preacher can only preach according to their own measure, but you must hear the Word of God. If they had asked, that night a tremendous message would have been given, right? And they would have received great answers.

Why must we hold this missionary convention? What is the meaning of temple construction for our church in this age? Why are so many multiethnic people coming to Busan, to this small corner? Why did the evangelism movement that began here 30 years ago spread to the whole world? We must ask many such questions. Only then will answers come. Only when we hold on to the precise covenant will answers come. But they failed to hold on to the precise covenant earlier, so later they said, “Oh? It really withered!”

This fig tree symbolizes the nation of Israel, right? It is the national tree of Israel—just as the hibiscus is the national flower of Korea. Jesus deliberately went to find fruit even though there was none, symbolizing Israel. The fig tree withering represents the future of Israel.

[Mark 11:22] Believe in God
Then Jesus said, “Have faith in God.” What is there that God’s power cannot do?

[Mark 11:23] The mountain
Then He said these words. Before verse 24, verse 23 says, “Even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed,’ it will move.” God can move it. When He said this, it was based on the premise that we humans cannot move a mountain. Isn’t that true? If someone could pray and move mountains, there would be no need to say this. But we can’t. Yet He said, “If you believe, even a mountain can move.” That means that God’s power can move mountains. The power of God has already been shown—Jesus even raised the dead. That is verse 23.

[Mark 11:24] What you prayed for, [believe], and it will be done.
Then in verse 24, today’s main passage, He says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” “Believe that you have received it.” It does not say “will receive it.” This is something we must pay close attention to. Wouldn’t it seem natural to say, “Believe that you will receive it”? But He said, “Believe that you have received it.” Understand this. From the day I understood this, I began to receive answers. “Ah, I see. Believe that I have received it?” When you pray, God hears. Believe that He has heard. What you say becomes imprinted in your brain. Believe that you have received it. When will the answer come? That’s just a matter of time—it’s certain. We often speak carelessly, but eventually it is fulfilled.

Sometimes, I see believers, church leaders, or remnants who are sharp-minded—it’s good to be discerning—but some are very critical. It’s not entirely bad; in some ways, it shows intelligence. But the problem is that their life ends up that way. That’s the problem. It’s natural to get angry when there’s something to be angry about. But if you constantly live in anger, your life becomes that way.

“Believe that you have received it.” If you truly prayed holding onto the covenant, then believe that you have received it. Isn’t that right? Even if the answer hasn’t come yet, believe that you have received it. If the covenant is accurate, then God’s plan is sure. I prayed. Therefore, believe that you have received it. Then it will be done for you.

There was once something unbelievable. I may have told this story before. It was when our church had just been planted. A deacon called me urgently to come to his home. When I arrived, his daughter had lost her mind. She wasn’t like that before—she was calm, working at a company, faithfully attending Sunday service. But now she was out of her mind. “Since when?” I asked. “About three days ago,” he said. The deacon, desperate, asked me to pray. We held a worship service, but she couldn’t stay still—making noise, shouting. We barely finished the service, but after that, she got even worse. I started to doubt. “It’s not working…” I thought. It was a Wednesday. I left, saying I had to prepare for the service. On the way, I thought, “I definitely prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. God surely heard my prayer. And the evil spirit inside that woman must have also heard my prayer.” That conviction came upon me. It wasn’t that I healed her. When I got home, another call came. I felt uneasy, but they said she was even worse and that they were going to take her to the hospital. Without thinking, I said, “Deacon, please wait a little longer.” He said, “Okay.” That very evening, a work took place. The evil spirit said, “I can’t live in this house anymore. Why are you tormenting me? Why? Is Jesus tormenting me?” Have you ever heard something like that? Then it left. She came back completely fine. So I believe this passage: “Believe that you have received it.”

No gospel, no spiritual strength, no ability
The Israelites at that time did not really know the gospel. They were given the gospel but did not understand it. They had no spiritual strength. And because they lacked spiritual power, they had no ability to overcome great nations. That is why Jesus said, “Have faith in God. If you believe that what you prayed for has already been given, it will be done for you.”

Today, hold firmly to the accurate covenant and pray. No matter what others say, in the wilderness they still entered Canaan. The situation may seem difficult, but they entered. That is God’s covenant. Those who prayed received answers; those who complained did not enter. “According to your faith, it will be done.” This is a very important word.

▣ Main
When such important tasks lie ahead, you must hold on to the accurate covenant and pray.

  1. The name of Jesus Christ
In what name do we pray? In the name of Jesus Christ. We have no right to pray otherwise. God established it this way.

1) Promise
There are so many promises. Though there is no time to go over them all now, Jesus Himself explained this about seven times. He promised.

2) Answer
He promised—and how did He promise? He promised an answer. In the name of Jesus. That is clear. Next, what must we do? Hold onto the Word. The covenant must be accurate; if we pray holding onto the wrong one, it won’t do. Also, we must understand spiritual things—the kingdom of God. Then we must confirm: is this God’s will in His timetable? Only then will the answer come. And if something seems off, we must realize our own mistakes. When we pray together in one accord, answers come.

3) Five types
There are five types of answers. You must remember this well. First, some answers come immediately. Some come later. Some don’t come—because we prayed incorrectly. If we prayed wrongly, it’s better not to receive. Some come from the opposite side—you prayed in one way, but the answer comes from another direction. And sometimes, before you even pray, God gives the answer beforehand. We can’t always understand it. But overall, the key point is this: God promised to answer our prayers. Through the name of Jesus Christ who moves the power of the throne. Through the name that broke Satan who long enslaved us. Remember this.

  1. Work
Then, what happens when we pray? We must know what happens.

1) Within me
What happens within me when I pray? Three things. Genesis 1:27 — we are clothed with God’s image. Genesis 2:7 — we receive the breath of life that God breathed. Genesis 2:18 — God’s presence comes into our lives as in the blessing of Eden.

2) From above
Things from above come upon us—the power of the throne. When we pray, the power of the throne comes, and from then, transcending time and space, the light of 237 shines.

3) Hidden things
Things we never expected—hidden things—are revealed. What are they? Unprecedented and never-repeated blessings. Such things never happened before. There has never been anyone like you before. That is the unprecedented blessing. There was never someone who knew the gospel and worked faithfully in their field like you. Remember this well. There are many who run businesses, but are there many who know Christ and do business like our elders? No. There are many members of parliament, but how many truly know Christ? That’s why it’s not very important to me personally, though necessary for the nation. There are many professors, but how many truly know Christ? We have such professors in our church—that’s what makes it important. Unprecedented blessings. Remember this. Answers come according to spiritual state, so we must hold the covenant correctly. And what happens? We save the three ages. This is the work. The hidden thing.

  1. Spiritual concentration
Let’s look at the spiritual concentration of the seven remnants who had the assurance of prayer answers. Since prayer brings answers, you must have areas where you can focus. That’s why we worship.

1) The room
Joseph prayed alone as a slave and in prison—like a “room prayer.” No one knew, but that turned everything around. There will be such times when no one can help you, when you have no one to speak to. Joseph found the power of focused prayer there.

2) Mt Horeb
Moses had his mother’s covenantal prayer since childhood, yet until the age of 80, nothing happened—until Mt Horeb. He prayed with deep concentration.

3) Ark of the covenant
Samuel couldn’t even stay at home; he grew up beside the ark of the covenant. That’s what is needed. Today must become such a day for us. Isn’t that so? Today, the day of worship, is your Mt Horeb. Samuel lay beside the ark of the covenant when no one else was there.

4) Shepherd
Who recognized David? No one. He was alone in the mountains tending sheep. There, David concentrated in prayer. May it be so for you today.

5) Jordan River
While other prophets were calculating and hesitating, Elisha followed Elijah all the way to the Jordan, saying, “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit.” That’s it. Others acted halfheartedly, but he went all the way.

6) The window
Look at Daniel. From captivity to the end, he always prayed facing Jerusalem three times a day before God. Such prayer is needed.

7) Only, solely, completely
The early church held to this covenant and prayed “only,” “solely,” “completely.” These all mean the same—utter devotion to prayer.

That is today. If you believe, that becomes your home. When you believe, that becomes your bartizan. Isn’t that so? If you get angry though you don’t want to, that becomes your bartizan—so don’t let it happen. If you doubt, that becomes your bartizan. May today be a day of important covenant.

▣ Conclusion
Genesis 1:3
The conclusion is this: this light shines upon you (Genesis 1:3). The light of creation shines. Try praying for someone sincerely—the light of creation will shine. But there’s a condition. It’s not about “I want to live well.” We must do world evangelization. If you don’t, who will? Pray, “God, grant me the economy of light to accomplish world evangelization.” Then the light shines.

Isaiah 60:1–2
In a completely ruined situation, God says, “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

1 Peter 2:9
When Israel was in its hardest time, God called someone like Peter and raised him up: “You were called to proclaim this light.”

In other words, the conclusion is this: you have been called as watchmen of prayer. The watchman is someone others do not see—one who guards, helps in danger, shines the light, and saves when crisis strikes.

Today will truly be such a day. I am certain of it. Whatever may have come upon me, it doesn’t matter. God will surely come upon your work and upon you who hold the right covenant, with His light. May today be a day of important worship—a day of resurrection. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You for giving us this important time to worship You on this Resurrection Sunday. Let us build the bartizan that saves ourselves, our fields, and the world. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Assurance of Guidance and the Answer of 25

2023.04.02 District Message
Scripture Reading: Mark 3:13-15

Because God exists in an unseen way, He is certain. What is seen cannot transcend time and space, so it is uncertain. That is why those who worship idols become confined to space. Thus they become seized by evil spirits. The Triune God accompanies us in an unseen way. To the extent you have this assurance, the 25 answers come. So Jesus did not call just anyone, but “called those whom He wanted.” The church must be a place where anyone can come, but people must come to become God’s people. If they come for something else, that is not the church. We must raise up special churches, but the church must also be a place where those who are lacking can come. That is the church. Many people do not understand the church. The highly educated must come to church, but those who are not educated must also come. And there are rich people, but the poor must also come and receive grace.

So He called those He wanted and said He called them “to be with Him.” That is companionship. That itself is evangelism. “And to preach.”

And He said it was “that He might give them authority to cast out demons.” Many believers do not understand this word, and many pastors as well. Why would Jesus say this? Sixty to seventy percent of Koreans hold ancestral rites. They serve demons. In the United States, with a population of over 200 million, three demon-possessed organizations dominate. In our country there are more than 300,000 shamans. They are now struggling to register as a religion. If they succeed in registering as a religion, considerable problems will arise. They exploit democracy to achieve such registration.

That is not all. Much of today’s culture has turned into a demon culture. The recent accident in Itaewon—this was also a demon-culture movement. Many of our posterity, not knowing, are completely seized by demon culture. What do you think, saints? I want to ask pastors. I especially want to ask theologians. Should we leave this as it is any longer? In Japan, they have turned even children’s toys into demon culture. Who is doing this work? Satan is. The church just sits still, knowing nothing.

[ Engraving ] [ Answer – Eternal ]
So why are you sitting here worshiping? Because what is engraved will surely bring answers. It will never go away. Then what must we engrave right now? Without re-creation it will not change. It will not go out. Without Christ it will not work. You cannot change it. What is once engraved remains forever. That is why we are worshiping now. That is why we go and try to deliver the Word to those in difficulty. You must understand why answers do not come immediately. They come as they are engraved. They come to the extent they are engraved. When you speak of Christ to your children and, upon hearing once, the child senses, “Ah, Christ is so good,” that is when it is engraved. When they sense, “Ah, God’s Word is truly good,” that is when it is engraved. That goes on forever. How important this is. Therefore worship properly. It is the time of engraving. Engraving happens during worship. It does not engrave at other times.

[ Root ] [ Fruit ]
At other times, roots go down. No matter what anyone says, fruit is borne to the extent roots go down. If the roots go down deep, much fruit is borne.

[ Nature ] [ Destiny ]
Then, what has become your nature changes your destiny. There is nothing you can do about it.

Therefore you may have many anxieties within you. All of that becomes engraving, root, and nature. It brings fearful results. So without Christ it cannot be resolved. That is why Christ said, “He called them to be with Him.” This is a very important word.

▣ Introduction

  1. Matthew 4:19
So Jesus did not speak casually but spoke like this. Do not think of it as difficult: “Follow Me.” “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
  2. Matthew 28:16–20
And He said, “I will be with you always,” and that “with all authority in heaven and on earth.” This becomes engraved. Then it takes root and becomes your nature. At that time amazing things happen—world evangelization takes place. Then it does not matter about you. World evangelization takes place through even one person—you.
  3. Mark 16:15–20
Jesus spoke. In Mark 16:15–20, at the end He spoke directly. It says, “The Lord who sat at the throne worked with them,” and clear evidences appeared. “In My name demons will be cast out”—of course. “They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Even if you drink deadly poison, it will not harm you.” Because you have stepped into the work of proclaiming the gospel and because there is evidence that God is with you.

[ 〔1〕·〔3〕·〔8〕 ]
So in the end, how did Jesus conclude? He concluded like this (1·3·8) and ascended. This (1·3·8) is the conclusion Jesus gave. Christ explained God’s kingdom and Only the Holy Spirit.

24·25·eternity
What happens when this becomes 24·25·eternity? You must be able to wait for this.

The reason Koreans do not receive answers quickly is that we are impatient. Koreans are so impatient. About 25 years ago I went to Thailand. There was a boat on a river or at sea. Someone must have written in paint on the boat, “Hurry up and come.” In Korean. So they all know the Korean “ppalli-ppalli” (quickly-quickly). The Japanese do things slowly. Koreans are extremely impatient. So answers must come quickly too. Then they even swallow things that are not answers. Truly impatient. Among those who are even more impatient—what will happen? Koreans drink coffee in one gulp. There is no way to drink slowly. Candy should be melted slowly, but we crunch it down. That’s how Koreans are. I am Korean too; though we have many good qualities, there are truly many strange things.

I feel a bit embarrassed when I go abroad. Japanese women, even when several get on (a vehicle), ride quietly. When a few Koreans get on, they chatter noisily. The Japanese look over like this. In a rush. There is no need to hurry. Unless this (engraving, answer – eternal, root, fruit, nature, destiny) is set, the answer will not come. No matter how much you hurry, it will not come. If this (engraving, answer – eternal, root, fruit, nature, destiny) goes into something else, it will not be corrected. No matter how much you complain, it will not be corrected. This is very important.

Jesus did not speak nonsense during this important time. He spoke important words. Acts 1:1—“the former book”—this means Christ. He Himself explained about the kingdom of God for 40 days. And He said something definite: “Only”—nothing else will do—only. “When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power and be My witnesses to the ends of the earth.”

People take this and, of course, special prayer is needed, but just pray as you work. 24. Right? Try working—you’ll find many hard things. Pray 24. This is where the difference appears. Then there is no other difference. Only this difference. There is no difference between pastors who cannot carry out the gospel movement and me. Many are far more excellent than I. But this (1·3·8, 24·25·00) is the difference. Just enjoy this (1·3·8, 24·25·eternity). Then answers come.

“You say that, but what if difficulties come when we go to church?” The impatient then say so. It is not like that. Thinking that way is the problem. No problem can overcome these (the points in the introduction). Right? No disaster that strikes your family can overcome Christ, God’s kingdom, and Only the Holy Spirit. Right? Not knowing this, you have engraved the opposite in abundance. That is why. Engraving wrong things in abundance—unknowingly, the roots go down. One day, though you have done nothing wrong, strange things keep striking your home. Then destiny is being determined. It may look like nothing as you come, receive the Word, and pray, but it is not so. It begins to become like this (engraving, answer – eternal, root, fruit, nature, destiny).

Therefore, during the cell-lesson time, do not force children; they must feel it is fun. Right? That is when it is engraved. Children like funny teachers. In the past, when I attended church, there was a very funny assistant pastor. Everyone loved him. But he never spoke the gospel. And there was an “assistant pastor with a bag of stories.” When he came out, he told so many entertaining stories. It helps in some ways. But he, too, never spoke only the gospel. They never spoke this (1·3·8). That is the problem. So I could not realize the gospel from youth to adulthood. I had never heard it. They kept telling respectable stories, those kinds of stories—just like the Pharisees. They kept telling only such things and not the gospel. You must remember this well.

Only·Uniqueness·Re-creation
If things remain like this, do you know which answer comes first? What you do for a living may seem like nothing, but the “Only” answer comes. Right? You were a nobody, but this emerges in you—Uniqueness. At last, the re-creation that saves that field emerges. When things have been engraved, rooted, and formed as your nature, this (Only·Uniqueness·Re-creation) appears. For example, if we spend just three days continuing to worry, what happens? Problems come immediately.

I went to a conference in the United States. A certain pastor—famous, a professor and such—a person like that came to a conference, and in Washington someone came to see him. Because he was famous, they came and said, “Pastor Ryu Kwang-Soo, please declare that Darakbang is a heresy. They are evangelizing too actively—we must stop them.” At that time, he was still a professor—a lecturer—and now he is a pastor. But he was a very conscientious person. “Can I say it is heresy when I do not know if it is or not?” He said he worried all night. He searched materials, went on the internet, contacted people. He said that no matter how he looked, it was not heresy. He was a wise man. He could tell that the writings were slander—he knew it by seeing them. There were more accusations. “Ah, this was done like this.” He understood. So on the first day of lectures the next day, he kept sipping water as he came out. He said, “No matter how I think, I worried all night and prayed, but Darakbang is not heresy.” On the spot he was expelled. A three-day conference was canceled. Even more absurd—when he returned to the school, he was fired. He was so stressed. Then he came asking to meet me. Immediately under that stress, his blood pressure and blood sugar rose and he collapsed. If you become engraved-rooted-natured for just three days like that, it can happen. As he left, he gave me a phone number and said, “Please contact here and be sure to take care of your health.” He didn’t seem malicious.

WITH·Immanuel·Oneness
What evidences come at this time? They come to me, and others recognize them too. WITH. “Ah, God was with me.” When is it that I, myself, receive the greatest answer, the greatest grace? When I sense, “God is with me.” Immanuel. “God is with the church and with us.” I thought everything was hard and difficult, but as time passes I see this. I see the blessing of Oneness.

Up to here are the answers of companionship that come. You must have assurance of this. In the church, and also at the headquarters, there are many who labor. In a way, you have the most difficult task. If you enjoy these blessings (all the foregoing), you are actually doing the most important work. In many places of the church, there are many who work hidden, unseen. That is even more important. And though many do not proclaim the gospel at all, we alone are now proclaiming the gospel to America and to the world. You are working in that. You must know that those who work hidden in the church and hidden in the headquarters are important. You must make this (all the foregoing) a chance to enjoy blessings.

▣ Main

  1. WITH – Wherever you are
Then, if you have the blessing of WITH, what answer arises? It does not matter where you are. Right? This is important. If you do not enjoy the blessing of WITH, even a small problem makes you struggle.
  2. Immanuel – Whomever you meet
If you are enjoying the blessing of Immanuel, it does not matter whom you meet. If you do not constantly recognize this blessing of Immanuel, you change according to whom you meet. Right? Meet a wicked person—you absorb wickedness; meet a strange person—you become strange; meet a somewhat good person—you get better. It becomes like that. Your children and posterity must not become like this. They must meet and enjoy these blessings (of the main message) so that it is fine no matter whom they meet.
  3. Oneness – Whatever happens
And if you enjoy the blessing of Oneness, it is fine whatever happens. In fact, you are already receiving this blessing. You just do not realize it. If you come to know, you will enjoy many things. Thus when you begin to receive this answer, you realize that you are important. “Ah, I am important.” Whatever it is—even if it is cleaning—it does not matter. Is this not Joseph? He became prime minister even while cleaning. So many of our remnants and young adults worry a lot: “What work should I do and where should I go?” No need. If you enjoy to the highest degree where you are, the next answer comes. You must remember this. Therefore, wherever you are, whomever you meet, and whatever happens, it is fine. This is not comfort—it is fact. You must have the eyes to see this.

For 40 years, while carrying out the evangelism movement, the hardest struggle for me has been this: so many people around me speak strange words, act strangely, fight, have conflicts among themselves—so many. Unimaginable things—beyond words—astonishingly many. I enjoy these blessings (of the main message). I always conclude, “Ah, it is my fault that I came to hear such things.” Even when it is not. I am clearly not a thief, yet if people keep saying I look like a thief, there is a problem. Right? I have never swindled anyone, but if they call me a swindler, I must think about that a bit. Right? If you conclude like that, many things open to you. Then these blessings (of the main message) come. I have experienced this for 40 years. We must respect people, but we must look even more carefully at God’s Word.

Then let me simply give a few examples.

  1. WITH – Wherever you are

1) Joseph
Joseph. Please read the cell-lesson book carefully; I am now just explaining.

2) Triune God
And the Triune God is always with me. Joseph continually enjoyed this blessing.

3) Answer, non-answer
And there is something you must surely remember. Answers are answers, and non-answers are also answers. Because God is with me, that is the answer. Joseph helped a chief official while in prison, but after the official was released, he forgot Joseph. That was the answer. We might say, “How could he? So unfaithful—he neither visited me nor helped me.” But for Joseph, that was the answer.

  1. Immanuel – Whomever you meet
As for the blessing of Immanuel—you know many examples, but I will give only one.
    [ David ]
David. There are many examples, but he seems to have enjoyed it the most.

1) Spiritual system
If you set up only the spiritual system with assurance of the blessing of Immanuel, all the blessings of meetings will come. Simply put, if you pray a little, are not deceived, and enjoy these blessings (engraving, answer – eternal, root, fruit, nature, destiny), then all meetings will come as answers.

2) Church
From then on, whereas before you fell into trials when you went to church, from then on the church becomes an answer.

3) Witness – evidence
From that time, when you go to church you go as a witness and carry evidence.

As you worship today on the Lord’s Day, the most important thing is that you come to worship carrying the evidences from last week’s message—then it is different. I deliver many messages, but the most important point is this: I must not speak my words. So I hold to the evidences God has given and stand again as a witness. Today as you worship, you must also find this: “God is with me—what evidence is this?” You must find it and carry it. When a problem comes, you must not go to sleep holding the problem. It gets engraved. If you sleep thinking, “Why is that person like that?” you must not. Remember this. Everything comes from there. You must surely receive the answer God gives and then sleep. Then evidence must come. You bring that evidence to church. What is your problem right now? Do not carry that problem as-is to worship or to bed. You must find the answer. Even if it is so big that it will not come quickly, it does not matter. What is the characteristic of Joseph and David? They held the answer.

  1. Oneness – Whatever happens

1) In advance
Therefore all things work together for good, and from then on you begin to see this in advance.

2) Way
You go into the field—Joseph and others went on difficult paths. All of that became the way to fulfill God’s will—all became blessed paths. Because when combined, answers arose.

3) All incidents
In all incidents you now see Oneness. This is not mere comfort. It is absolutely so.

Today, on the Lord’s Day, you must hold to the covenant of peace and pray. Then do not go into deep prayer to find an answer—receive God’s answer. Take that and worship today and return. Then during the week, if you have cell meetings or regional church gatherings, you testify and present the evidences directly. People truly come to life. Thus the small work you do will be changed by God into a precious work used for world evangelization.

▣ Conclusion (Philippians 3:1–21)
Let me conclude. Paul said something important in Philippians 3. Paul was very learned. If Paul had been uneducated and had said these things (Philippians 3:1–21), it would be a bit strange. “I consider all knowledge and what I have had until now as refuse and loss. I have now learned that the knowledge of Christ is the most excellent knowledge.” He said astonishing things. “I have not attained anything. I have done nothing,” though he had done an enormous amount of work. At the time he confessed this, he had done tremendous work. He should have said, “Until now God has done many works…,” but instead he said, “I have done nothing.” Looking precisely, that is correct. Because all was done by God’s grace. “I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.” And he spoke of “the prize given from above.” Paul had a reason to speak so. What he had so much of was unnecessary—the prize from above. Lastly, though he was a Roman citizen, which was great, he said not that but “citizenship in heaven.”

Peace (answer)
There you truly gain peace, and as this becomes engraved, rooted, and your nature, all healing takes place. Do not try to fix yourself; with thanksgiving, change your engraving, root, and nature. Today was a bit long, but do not worry about those with spiritual problems—change the engraving, root, and nature. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Let this be a precious day of receiving great grace from God as we worship all day. Let a new challenge begin to change my engraving, root, and nature. Make us witnesses who receive true answers. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
