▷ “Those who are weary and burdened.” If you understand this word, you can easily receive answers to prayer. Also, those who are failing can easily find resolution. And you will come to understand what the church is for and why the church must exist.

▣ Introduction

1. The painful burden – This speaks of people who are carrying an extremely painful and heavy burden.
1) Great powers – The great powers may appear to be strong nations, but they are carrying this burden.
2) Weak nations (slaves) – Weak nations are enslaved to the great powers.
3) Incurable diseases – Incurable diseases that even doctors cannot cure are beginning to spread rapidly.
4) Demons – Mental illness; in the Bible there is much mental illness caused by demon possession. These illnesses cannot be cured by medicine.
5) Spiritual problems – All kinds of spiritual sicknesses and spiritual problems are arising. There is no one who can treat these problems.

2. Incurable
1) Doctors – Even hospitals cannot cure them.
2) Church – Even the church cannot treat them.
3) Confusion – And so people fall into confusion.

3. Jesus Christ – He said, “Come to me, all of you.” He did not say come after you have resolved things; He said come as you are.
1) Come as you are – If you come after resolving things, you can never come. Come in the very state of being weary and burdened.
2) My yoke – “Take my yoke upon you.” “For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
3) You will find rest – He said, “You will find rest for your souls.”

▣ Main

1. Come to me, all of you – “Come to me, all of you.” This word means there is no ability to heal anywhere else.
Absolute impossibility – Jesus is saying He will heal what is absolutely impossible. Not the Pharisees, not going to idol nations, no one can do it, yet Jesus said, “Come to me.”
1) No power – Because there is no power to heal, no one can say “come.” Jesus boldly said, “Come to me, all of you.”
2) Imprinting, roots, disposition – It has been imprinted that failure is inevitable. Because the absolutely impossible has been imprinted, rooted, and made into disposition, if you discover this and change it, healing begins.
3) 3, 6, 11 → Remove what has been completely imprinted through Genesis chapters 3, 6, and 11.
13, 16, 19 → Idolatry has completely taken root through Acts chapters 13, 16, and 19.
6 fates → It has become completely dispositional through the 6 states of unbelievers, through this fate.
The moment you discover this, you overcome.

2. Take my yoke upon you
Absolute possibility – “Take my yoke” means to attach and bind your yoke to Jesus’ yoke. So there is nothing heavy for me at all.
1) Editing, designing, planning – Even if you have difficult problems, the way to receive answers to prayer is to discover the absolute impossibility and newly edit, design, and plan something possible. Edit, design, and plan it into something that can change the world, into something of God’s wonder, and it will become new.
2) The Word, prayer – If it is edited through the Word and prayer, history will certainly occur.
3) The Trinity, the throne, the age – Invisibly, God the Trinity will work; you will enjoy the blessings of the throne which unbelievers know nothing of; and you will receive answers that save the age.

▷ The Remnant should identify what is a problem for me and then establish what I need to do. In the remaining life, you must create answers with what God has truly given.

3. I will give you rest – This does not mean He will let you play; it speaks of the absolute system God gives us.
It is the recovery of the three courtyards.
1) Three courtyards 24 – There is no courtyard for prayer, no courtyard for children, no courtyard for the Gentiles. Make it so that the three courtyards can be used 24 hours.
2) Prayer (resources, holy meditation) – Create a place for prayer on every floor of every building. It must be made so that the Remnant can go in on their own, look at the resources, and pray and gain strength. Those who are spiritually weak must be able to come to the church on their own, look at the resources, pray, receive the Word, sing hymns, and have healing occur. There must be a place to have holy meditation here.
3) 237, healing, summit – We must move toward the work of healing 237 nations and making them into summits.

▣ Conclusion

1. My problem – my answer. Turn my problem into my answer.
2. Calvary, Mt Olive, the upper room of Mark – Gain strength through this covenant.
3. In-person church – Create a system where an in-person church inevitably forms, a platform where people inevitably come.
This is 237, healing, and the summit.
Non-contact church – A non-contact church toward the whole world.
Media church – Prepare a media church so that the gospel can be proclaimed to the whole world.

▷ Those who are weary and burdened! No one has ever said these words. Only Jesus said, “Come to me.” “I will give you rest.” Sundhar Singh is a person whose life was changed by this one scripture verse. If you change what is truly a problem for you into God’s thing — that is, if you change the imprinting, roots, and disposition — answers will certainly come.

“Those who are weary and burdened” is Jesus’ famous word.

Those who are weary and burdened (Matthew 11:29-30)

If you understand this word, you can easily receive answers to prayer. Also, those who are failing can easily find resolution. And you will come to understand what the church is for and why the church must exist.

So this is a famous word, but it is an extremely important word.

▣ Introduction

1. The painful burden

First of all, this “those who are weary and burdened” — this is not just any word; it speaks of those who are carrying an extremely painful burden. It speaks of people who are carrying an extremely painful and heavy burden.

1) Great powers

When you look at it, most people are in this situation. These great powers may appear to be strong nations, but they were carrying this burden.

Actually, in the 1800s, America first went to Japan and pressured them to open up. Our country was just sitting there foolishly, but the Japanese people thought, “Ah, this won’t do.” So they began developing technology and developing weapons. From there they made the mistake of thinking, “If we don’t occupy others, we will die.” The great powers. They could have lived peacefully and helped each other, but they thought, “We must occupy.” So they thought, “This is how we survive,” and they occupied Korea. They even attacked the Qing dynasty. They attacked Russia. They won. Later they even started the Pacific War. In the end they were completely destroyed, but all the great powers are making this same mistake. They are still doing it now. The current situation is more difficult than in the past. You don’t know what might happen. Doesn’t North Korea just fire missiles whenever it feels like it now? How difficult is that? We cannot say a single word. We can’t even ask why they’re firing. It’s really become ridiculous.

2) Weak nations (slaves)

These weak nations have become enslaved to these great powers, so what is their situation?

3) Incurable diseases

Even that is manageable. Incurable diseases that even doctors cannot cure are beginning to spread rapidly.

4) Demons – mental illness

Especially, when you look at the Bible, there is much mental illness caused by demon possession. Now, these illnesses cannot be cured by medicine, can they?

5) Spiritual problems

And then, all kinds of spiritual sicknesses and spiritual problems are arising. There is no one who can treat these problems.

2. Incurable

1) Doctors

Because there is no cure, even diseases that hospitals cannot treat are arising, aren’t they?

2) Church

Even the church cannot treat them.

3) Confusion

So confusion is rapidly coming. And so people fall into strange confusion. Because hospitals don’t work and churches don’t work either. That was the situation. At that time, Jesus spoke.

3. Jesus Christ

What did He say? He said, “Come to me, all of you.”

1) Come as you are

He did not say come after you have resolved things; He said come as you are. If you come after resolving things, you can never come. Come in the very state of being weary and burdened. And He said something extremely important.

2) My yoke

And take my yoke upon you. For my yoke is easy and light.

3) You will find rest

And He said you will find rest for your souls.

Now, if that is the case, what we are now building a church and trying to do in ministry is, when you look at it, simple.

▣ Main

In the Main, Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you.”

1. Come to me, all of you

This is an extremely important word. What does “come to me, all of you” mean? This word, “come to me, all of you,” means there is no ability to heal anywhere else.

[Absolute impossibility]

Simply put, this speaks of the absolute impossibility. Jesus is saying He will heal this. How does He heal it? Not the Pharisees, not the idol nations of today, no one can do it, yet Jesus said, “Come to me.”

1) No power

There is no power to heal those who are sick and suffering and toiling. Because there is no power, no one can say “come.” Jesus boldly said, “Come to me, all of you.”

Do you know what this is? It is simple for you. Even in getting sick, healing is actually simple. What is it?

2) Imprinting, roots, disposition

It has been imprinted that failure is inevitable. They say cancer happened by chance, but there is no such thing. It came out of imprinting. Because the absolutely impossible has been imprinted, rooted, and made into disposition, you cannot be healed. If you discover this, you will be healed. Isn’t that right? When you discover this, healing begins. For those who are mentally struggling — both their families and themselves — don’t immediately try to go somewhere and get healed. What I’m saying is that there is a long-standing imprint within you. You just need to change it. But people don’t know that and keep making excuses. “Because of what someone did…” No. Jesus said come to me. Why? Because you can’t heal yourself. Going to the Pharisees won’t work, going to Rome won’t work, so come to me.

3) [3, 6, 11]
What is it? Remove what has been completely imprinted through Genesis chapters 3, 6, and 11.

[13, 16, 19]
Acts chapters 13, 16, and 19 — idolatry has completely taken root.

Now it has become completely dispositional through the 6 states of unbelievers, through this fate. The moment you discover it, you overcome.

2. Take my yoke upon you

Now then, He said take my yoke upon you. What does this mean? This is an extremely important word.

[Absolute possibility]
This speaks of absolute possibility.

What does “take my yoke upon you” mean? “Take” — this word means “attach your yoke to Jesus’ yoke and bind them together.” So there is nothing heavy for me at all.

1) Editing, designing, planning

So no matter how difficult your problems are, the way to receive answers to prayer is to discover the absolute impossibility and newly edit, design, and plan something possible. Don’t just simply do construction — challenge your life and receive answers. Truly, edit, design, and plan it into something by which I can change the world. It changes easily. If you change the wrongly placed imprinting, roots, and disposition within you, history is bound to occur. Now, if you additionally edit, design, and plan it with God’s wonder, it will become new.

2) The Word, prayer

So for us, the easy thing is to just edit it with the Word and prayer. History will certainly occur.

3) The Trinity

What does that mean? God will work invisibly as God the Trinity.

The throne

You will enjoy the blessings of the throne which unbelievers know nothing of.

The age

And as you know, you will receive answers that save the age. This is what we do. So it’s not difficult.

Crosby was not without difficulty. While all believers were rejecting her, this Crosby — because she could not see — completely looked only to God’s grace. Even now, Crosby’s influence is great. It shows how much we are looking at other things. If you change it, history occurs.

Our Remnant can do it easily. “What is a problem for me?” Identify it clearly. “Then what do I need to do?” Establish that clearly.

I was not without difficulty. But when I looked at things as a child, my neighborhood was full of possibility. And people were always fighting and had no power. And looking at it, the church was not growing. Evangelism was not happening. I clearly checked that. And I thought about the opposite. History truly occurred. I mean, going to every church, they were saying useless things and fighting. Every church. So what did I discover? I discovered prayer. History will certainly occur. In your remaining life, you must create answers with what God has truly given.

3. I will give you rest

What is the third? He said “I will give you rest.” This does not mean He will let you play around. “I will give you rest” speaks of the absolute system God gives us. What is it?

1) Three courtyards 24

It is about recovery. The three courtyards. There is no courtyard for prayer, no courtyard for children, and no courtyard for Gentiles. Make it so that the three courtyards can be used 24 hours.

2) Prayer (resources)

And our church needs to think about this. Don’t build separate buildings — create places for prayer on every floor of every building. You must do this. So when people go in on their own, when they enter inside, our Remnant can look at the resources. There’s no need to deliberately set it apart. When you open the door and enter what’s there, it should be there. Even the pastor’s office should have a place for prayer. That’s right. Like this.

When you come to church, you cannot pray at all. On the contrary, even the little prayer you were doing, you can’t do it when you come to church. Isn’t that right? Isn’t that a serious problem? So when you come to church, you only hear the sound of people. I have nowhere to go into somewhere quiet to pray, no place to go and escape and pray. There isn’t. All the world’s religions have it, but only the church doesn’t. Whose trick is this? I see this as Satan’s trick.

When you go to the airport, there’s a prayer room, right? Do you know who made those? When you go to international airports, there are prayer rooms everywhere. Do you know who made them? Muslims made them. What kind of church member would say they want to pray and ask for a prayer room to be made? Muslims pushed for it all with pressure. It’s a big deal now. If you’re not careful, when you come to church, you cannot pray at all. Why? Because you hear the noise of people, you have to listen to unbelief, like this. Everyone falls into this trap. And so the children are all dying spiritually, unable to receive grace.

This is urgent. “I will give you rest.” There needs to be a system like this. The resources are being prepared now, and it is not difficult. The Remnant must be able to come in on their own, look at the resources, pray, and gain strength. Isn’t that right? Where will spiritually weak people go to ask? They should come to church on their own, go inside on their own, look at those resources, pray, receive the Word, sing hymns, and healing must occur, 24 hours.

(Holy meditation)

There must be a place to have holy meditation here, that’s what I mean.

3) 237, healing, summit

So 237 nations must be healed, and we must move toward the work of making them into summits.

“Those who are weary and burdened, come to me” — this is no ordinary word. “Take my yoke upon you” — this is even more than an ordinary word. If you discover your absolute impossibility and change it to absolute possibility, history will unconditionally occur.

You know, when I think about my father as a child, all I can think of is pain. He was always lying down. Because he was sick. Does that make sense? I thought, “Why is that?” So I truly prayed. My father passed away at age 53, and when I reached 53 I thought about it. Well, truly God has given me answers up to now so that I wouldn’t be sick, for whatever various reasons. Why? Because I need to do evangelism. All the churches around the world are set up so that you cannot pray. When you come to our church, you should be able to. Build the best church in the world. It can certainly be done. I will prepare the resources. If you just make the inside a place where they can pray, these days the media is so good, these Remnant should be able to see the entire world.

▣ Conclusion

Answers will certainly come. So the reason it is not difficult at all is that everywhere I went, I could see there was a problem. I looked at that problem and found the opposite. What’s so difficult about that? No special power is needed. I have no special talent. Talent is not needed. Isn’t that right? You don’t need any special talent. Just look clearly at what is wrong and find God’s thing. Edit it, plan it, design it, and pray — that’s what I’m saying. Then history cannot help but occur. No matter what anyone says, what goes in comes out. Isn’t that right? What has been imprinted comes out. So you imprint God’s things. Then world evangelization will certainly happen. Don’t we have to receive this answer within our lifetime? Isn’t that right? While we live in this world, don’t we have to show the next generation that God’s work is truly alive, and then go?

1. My problem – my answer

Turn your problem into your answer. You absolutely must do it. You cannot just let it pass. You must not just let what is a problem for you pass by. There’s no need to ask someone else or to blame anyone. I discover it myself.

2. Gal, Gam, Mak

So it is about gaining strength through the covenant of Calvary, Mt Olive, and the upper room of Mark, which Jesus directly revealed to us.

3. In-person church

Going forward, we must create it. We must create a system where an in-person church — a church where our church meets in person — inevitably forms, must make it so that people inevitably come. Make a platform where people inevitably come, that’s what this is. That is 237, healing, and the summit. You must create it.

Immanuel, our Seoul church is in the Gwangju area, so it is a little far. That’s alright. Going forward, once COVID is somewhat resolved, we must make it so that 237 nations inevitably come. That is what we mean by in-person church.

Non-contact church

It’s not just doing that much. Non-contact church. A non-contact church toward the whole world.

Media church

And it’s not just that much either. We need to open our eyes. Media church. You must open your eyes to all of that. So that the gospel can be proclaimed to the whole world.

“Those who are weary and burdened,” He said. No one has ever said these words. No one has said “Come to me, all of you.” Only Jesus said “Come to me.” “I will give you rest” — Sundhar Singh is a person whose life was changed by this one scripture verse. Isn’t that right? A certain person, caught in darkness, sitting in prison — at these words, “Those who are weary and burdened, come to me, all of you,” change occurred. God’s word entered.

Today must not become a worship service where we offer a dedication worship service out of obligation. You must find it clearly in your life. Truly. What is truly a problem for me, that’s it. Then, to change it to God’s thing, what do you need to edit, plan, design? If you change the imprinting, roots, and disposition, answers will certainly come. They inevitably will. So if you plant a seed like this, it cannot help but sprout. When you listen to what the elders used to say — “Plant beans and beans grow, plant red beans and red beans grow.” It cannot help but sprout. 41 The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward.
42 And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.

▣ Introduction_ Three Things You Must Surely Know
1. The ordination of the apostles (Luke 9, Matthew 10) – the content of Jesus sending out his disciples

▷ When an exact covenant is made with God, works happen. Most people do not understand evangelism well because they do not understand the gospel well.

▣ Main

1. The ordination of the apostles (Matthew 10) – For the apostles, evangelism is moving the spiritual world of 237 nations.

▷ The answer for moving the spiritual world of 237 nations was given to the Lord’s servants, the apostles.
1) How is this possible? The greatest blessing that the Lord’s servants and apostles must enjoy
(1) Matthew 10:7 “As you go, proclaim that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Say that the kingdom of God has come. Say that the kingdom of heaven has come.” – The Lord’s servants do not operate with earthly things, but with the blessings and power of the throne to revive the spiritual world of 237 nations.
(2) Matthew 10:8 Jesus called the apostles and gave them authority to drive out demons and heal diseases.
(3) Matthew 10:2-4 The names of the twelve apostles are listed.
2) Do not be afraid and do not worry.
(1) Matthew 10:17-22 “People will hate you. Do not be afraid of people.”
(2) Matthew 10:9-10 “Do not carry gold, silver, or copper, nor a money belt to put it in. Do not take two tunics, a bag, or a staff. I will surely take responsibility.”
3) Matthew 10:16 “Be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” – Do not stand out too much; be wise as serpents and pure as doves.
4) The faith that the Lord’s servants must hold
(1) Matthew 10:28 “Do not fear those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul.”
(2) Matthew 10:29-31 “Even two sparrows being sold requires God’s will. God even numbers the hairs of your head.”

▷ If you hold this faith, the kingdom of God will come and influence will be given to 237 nations. Jesus said to his powerless disciples, “Go and make disciples of all nations. I will be with you. Go to all peoples. I will be with you from the throne. I will give you the power to go to the ends of the earth.”

2. The ordination of church leaders (Luke 10) – For church leaders, evangelism is having the power to revive the field sites of 237 nations.

▷ Evangelism for you is receiving the blessing of moving the field sites. That is why 70 people were appointed, to revive 70 regions. Your work must be at a level where it can enter 70 regions, 70 field sites, 70 nations.
1) How is this possible?
(1) Luke 10:2 “Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send out workers.” – Receive the blessing of bringing the harvest into the storehouse of the throne.
(2) Luke 10:20 “Do not be amazed that the demons are driven out. Rejoice that your names are recorded in the kingdom of heaven.”

▷ Your evangelism is recovering the power to revive the field sites of 237 nations. You have received the important blessing of saving people in the field and having them recorded in the kingdom of God.

2) The results of appointing church leaders
(1) Acts 6 – A word movement spread throughout Jerusalem and all of Judea.
(2) Acts 11:19-31 Antioch Church – When all the apostles were dying and disappearing, these church leaders gathered and established a church.
(3) Acts 12 – King Herod imprisoned Peter intending to kill him, but the church leaders gathered and prayed, and that very night God sent an angel and the event of Herod being called away took place.

▷ Evangelism for the apostles is moving the spiritual world of 237 nations. Evangelism for church leaders is reviving the field sites of 237 nations and making workers for the kingdom of God. This must be remembered.

3. The ordination of laypeople (Acts 2, upper room of Mark) – It is enthroning individuals of 237 nations.
1) People who witnessed the Calvary covenant
2) People sent from Mt Olive – The work of the kingdom of God was explained for 40 days on Mt Olive.
3) They held onto this covenant and prayed.
4) Acts 2:1-13 Wind-like, fire-like power appeared. They saw future things, dreamed dreams, and saw the future.

▷ Common thread of Main 1-3 – We cannot revive 237 nations with our own power, nor can we even go there. If you know the secret of the kingdom of God, it moves even without you going. If you do not know the secret of the kingdom of God, it will not move even if you go.

▣ Conclusion_ “Whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. In the name of the righteous, in the name of a disciple” “Not even a cup of cold water will lose its reward.” (Matthew 10:40-42)

▷ Humanity does not currently know where it came from or where it is going.

1. Original humanity (Genesis 1:27, 2:7) – God created humanity in the image of God and breathed the breath of God into them. Without the image of God, we are at the level of beasts.
2. Humanity lost and completely seized by Satan’s hands (John 8:44)
1) The way was lost (Genesis 3, 6, 11).
(1) Genesis 3 – Satan appealed to pride. “You don’t need to believe in God. You will become like God.”
(2) Genesis 6 – “You need to have power.” Satan creates the Nephilim.

▣ Introduction_ Three Things You Must Surely Know

1. The ordination of the apostles (Luke 9, Matthew 10)
Luke 9 and Matthew 10 are about Jesus sending out his disciples. Simply put, it is the ordination of the apostles.

2. The ordination of church leaders (Luke 10)
In Luke 10, we see the ordination of church leaders.

3. The ordination of laypeople (Acts 2)
Coming down from Mt Olive, at the upper room of Mark, we see the ordination of all laypeople. You must clearly understand all three of these. That is when the answers begin.

▣ Main

1. The ordination of the apostles (Matthew 10) – For the apostles, evangelism is moving the spiritual world of 237 nations.

No matter how excellent a worker you are, if the contract is not made, the work cannot be done, right? No matter how capable you are, if you are not employed, your salary does not come. When an exact covenant is made with God, works happen.

So most people do not know what evangelism is. In other words, because they do not know the gospel well, they do not know evangelism. The disciples were given an answer sufficient to revive the spiritual world of 237 nations. This is the content that today the Lord’s servants must first hold onto. Giving the answer to move the spiritual world of 237 nations is evangelism. Those who know this can evangelize without even going around. Those who do not know this cannot evangelize even if they do go around. The answer to move the spiritual world of 237 nations was given to the Lord’s servants, the apostles.

1) How is this possible? The greatest blessing that the Lord’s servants and apostles must enjoy

So simply, how is this possible?

(1) Matthew 10:7
Matthew 10:7 explains it. “As you go, say that the kingdom of heaven is near. Say that the kingdom of God has come.” We need to ascend to heaven, yet “say that the kingdom of heaven has come.” What a tremendous message. You must know this to achieve world evangelization. The Lord’s servants do not operate with earthly things, but with the blessings and power of the throne to revive the spiritual world of 237 nations.

(2) Matthew 10:8
Because it is so important, Jesus called the apostles. And he gave them authority. He said, “I give you authority to drive out demons and heal diseases.”

(3) Matthew 10:2-4
And he listed their names one by one. We did not read all of it but from verse 2 the names appear in sequence. The names of twelve people are listed, and Judas Iscariot also appears. From the very beginning he is recorded as “the one who betrayed Jesus.”

2) Do not be afraid and do not worry.

What is the greatest blessing that the Lord’s servants and apostles must enjoy? “The kingdom of God has come.” Without knowing this, you cannot save the world or evangelize. That Christ has come means the kingdom of God has come. What a tremendous message.

(1) Matthew 10:17-22
So in today’s text, although we did not read it all, “Do not be afraid.” To what extent? “Do not be afraid of people. Those with power will flog you with whips; do not be afraid.” Verse 22 says, “People will hate you. Even relatives and family members will hate you. Do not be afraid and do not worry.” This is spoken to the Lord’s servants.

(2) Matthew 10:9-10
“Do not carry gold, silver, or copper.” The pouch that holds it – a wallet – “Do not carry that either.” What does it mean? “Do not carry two tunics. The Lord’s servants must not carry a bag.” What does that mean? “Do not even carry a staff.” What does that mean? I will surely take responsibility, that is what it means. The Lord’s servants cannot be without this faith. I will surely take responsibility. All ministers must recover this faith. Then the kingdom of God will come. You may have many worries but do not. He said he will take complete responsibility for you.

And then in verse 7 he said, “This gospel of the kingdom.” “It will raise up the sick and drive out demons from the demon-possessed.”

3) Matthew 10:16
“However, be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” Why does he say to be like a disgusting snake? This is simple. Snakes move in hiding. Likewise, do not stand out too much; be wise like a snake and pure like a dove.

4) The faith that the Lord’s servants must hold

(1) Matthew 10:28
“Do not fear those who can kill your body but cannot kill the soul.”

(2) Matthew 10:29-31
“Even two sparrows being sold requires God’s will. God is even counting the hairs of your head,” he said.

This is the faith that the Lord’s servants must hold. All believers must hold it, but especially the Lord’s servants. If the Lord’s workers, especially ministers, are without this faith, it will be a serious problem. If you hold this faith, he said the kingdom of God will come. This will then give influence to 237 nations.

For all of us nationwide and globally, those broadcasting from Immanuel Seoul and Busan – not even one second can be missed right now. Even just a moment ago, the cell group lesson started too early, which caused confusion for those doing translation for the whole service. Whether here or Immanuel Seoul, the clocks need to be accurate. Immanuel Seoul’s clock is 2 minutes behind. We must be 237-ready. Right? Even in worldly terms, if you want to make money, you need to be 237-ready.

Jesus looked at his powerless disciples and said, “Go and make disciples of all nations. I will be with you. Go to all peoples. I will be with you from the throne. I will give you the power to go to the ends of the earth.” This is it. This is Matthew 10, this is the ordination of the apostles.

2. The ordination of church leaders (Luke 10) – For church leaders, evangelism is having the power to revive the field sites of 237 nations.

Immediately after speaking of the apostles in Luke 9, moving into Luke 10, we see the ordination given to the church leaders. There are also important words there. Evangelism for you is having the power to revive the field sites of 237 nations. The Lord’s servants move the spiritual world, but evangelism for you is receiving the blessing of moving the field sites. That is why 70 people were appointed, to revive 70 regions. Your work must be at a level where it can enter 70 regions, 70 field sites, 70 nations. That is evangelism.

1) How is this possible?

How is this possible? It seems impossible, right? There is only one way.

(1) Luke 10:2
So what does Luke 10:2 say? “Pray that the Lord will send out workers for the harvest.” What does that mean? “Receive the blessing of bringing the harvest into the storehouse of the throne.”

(2) Luke 10:20
Luke 10:20 says, “Do not be amazed that the demons are driven out; rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.” This is spoken to church leaders. What is the answer you will receive? What is evangelism? It is recovering the power to revive the field sites of 237 nations.

2) The results of appointing church leaders

Now, this is somewhat different from the throne and the kingdom – workers for the harvest. Names recorded in the kingdom of God. A little different, but what is different? It is the same. What I am saying is that you have received the important blessing of saving people in the field and having them recorded in the kingdom of God.

(1) Acts 6
After these people were appointed, in Acts 6 we see a word movement spread throughout Jerusalem and all of Judea. Please believe this firmly. It is the answer you will receive. So people do not receive it; they keep looking at other things, but there is no need to look elsewhere. Even looking at just this, everything is contained within it.

(2) Acts 11:19-31
When all the apostles were dying and disappearing, these church leaders gathered and established a church. That is the Antioch Church.

(3) Acts 12
King Herod imprisoned Peter intending to kill him, and that night the church leaders gathered and prayed. That is Acts 12. A remarkable thing happened. God sent his angel and the event of Herod being called away took place. Do not miss this.

What is evangelism? Evangelism for the apostles is moving the spiritual world of 237 nations. Evangelism for church leaders is reviving the field sites of 237 nations and making workers for the kingdom of God. This must be remembered.

3. The ordination of laypeople (Acts 2, upper room of Mark) – It is enthroning individuals of 237 nations.

This is the third. The day came when God ordained all laypeople. What is that? Acts 2, the upper room of Mark. What is this? It is enthroning individuals of 237 nations. You must remember this clearly.

1) People who witnessed the Calvary covenant
These people are those who witnessed the Calvary covenant.

2) People sent from Mt Olive
These people are those sent from Mt Olive. What was said on Mt Olive? The work of the kingdom of God was explained for 40 days. It is the same thing.

3) They held onto this covenant and prayed.
They held onto this covenant and prayed.

4) Acts 2:1-13 Wind-like, fire-like power appeared. They saw future things, dreamed dreams, and saw the future.
So in Acts 2:1-13, wind-like, fire-like power came. It caused them to see future things, dream dreams, and see the future. This was the ordination given to all laypeople.

All three of these have a common thread. We cannot revive 237 nations with our own power. We cannot even go there. If you know the secret of the kingdom of God, it moves even without you going. Right? If you do not know the secret called the kingdom of God, it will not move even if you go. For you, the church leaders, God said he gave the power to harvest. It is completely about the field site. He gave you the power to do in the field site the work worthy of having names recorded in the kingdom of God, to revive the field sites of 237 nations. That is the evangelism you will receive. And then after gathering all the laypeople, the work of enthroning individuals of 237 nations began in the upper room of Mark.

▣ Conclusion_ “Whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. In the name of the righteous, in the name of a disciple” “Not even a cup of cold water will lose its reward.” (Matthew 10:40-42)

After saying all of this, Jesus said, “Whoever receives me receives the one I sent.” What did he say? “Even if you are not a prophet, if you receive a prophet in the name of a prophet, you will receive a prophet’s reward.” Even if you are not a missionary, if you receive a missionary in the name of a missionary, you will receive a missionary’s reward. Then it goes on, “in the name of the righteous, in the name of a disciple.” And then, “not even a cup of cold water will fail to receive its reward.” What does this mean? Because it is so important – “not even a cup of cold water will lose its reward.” These are the last words given to the disciples. You need to look at this carefully. Why is that?

1. Original humanity (Genesis 1:27, 2:7)
Humanity today, as our title says, does not know where it came from or where it is going. God originally created humanity in the image of God as stated in Genesis 1:27. Right? And in Genesis 2:7, God breathed the breath of life into them. This is original humanity. So without the image of God, what are we humans like? We are the same as beasts. Actually, we are slightly worse than beasts. Why? Because beasts cannot scheme with cunning, but humans can. Unbelievers, no matter how much they succeed, because they do not have God’s Spirit, they only know how to eat well and live well. Is that not so? That is the level of beasts. But we as believers must not be at the level of beasts. The way has been completely lost.

2. Humanity lost and completely seized by Satan’s hands (John 8:44)
In this state, in John 8:44, they are completely seized by Satan’s hands: “your father the devil.”

1) The way was lost (Genesis 3, 6, 11).

This Satan, as it is in Genesis 3, tempted them saying, “You will become like God.” Everyone – tell someone something that wounds their pride and they will crumble. Almost everyone, except for very wise people with strong faith – if you build up their pride, they will do crazy things. Satan knows this and pokes right at it.

(2) Genesis 6
“You don’t need to believe in God. If you eat this, you will become like God. And you need to have power.” Satan creates the Nephilim.

(3) Genesis 11
“And you must succeed.” These all sound like good words, don’t they? Without God. This is why the Tower of Babel collapsed. The way was lost.

Having lost the way and unable to find it, they make their own things and bow to them, calling it God. They do such foolish things. Who made the Buddha? People made it. And they bow to what they made. How foolish can anyone be? You make it yourself, then bow to it. How foolish people have become – bowing before a pig’s head. This is what they have become. I do not know why they do it before a pig and not before a cat, why before a pig – stripping all the pig’s hair off and bowing to it. How foolish this is.

3) In the end, they are completely seized in Satan’s grip (the 6 states of unbelievers).

When I was young, I saw a few blessed people. There was someone doing business in Gukje Market, and he did it well. Not in a difficult way – he would tell his wife, “Pack me a lunch.” He, the owner, would eat that lunch in his company. And then he would walk around Gukje Market for an hour. Walking, doing market research, talking, and sharing the gospel. Not in some strange, frantic way of evangelism, but truly, when he met a person, he would give that person the answer through evangelism. Those who bore fruit he gathered in his company. There he taught the Word. Those who bore even more fruit he invited to his home. Wow, seeing that as a layperson – and his business was doing well too. I have met a few people like that.

Then at another church, there was this deacon who was truly doing well in business. Famous – his brothers were doing it too, and in Busan alone they had four famous clothing stores. This person was someone who was completely holding onto the gospel covenant. While selling clothes, he would say, “Please go look around everywhere else and come back to buy.” And when selling he would always say, “This is not a good garment.” “But you said it was good earlier.” “Yes, being clothed with Christ is what is good.” He said he would say it regardless of whether they listened or not. Later women lined up wanting to counsel with this person. There is something about this person. Having understood the gospel, he said he does not worry about his business. And then he opened another store. He has a younger sibling – opened another one, they said. How he opens them: even within Gukje Market there are closed alleyways. Places where business is not doing well. He would rent those. The owner of those places wanted to revive those shops so they would say, do it, just pay a little rent. At that time I was an associate pastor and he asked me to hold a worship service, so I went and we were holding worship and customers were already coming.

Everyone, what is the power of the gospel? It is tremendous. I told you before. This person, on one Sunday, greeted me and when he came on Sunday he would chat with me now, whenever there was free time. This person has nothing but business and evangelism. So he would tell me his evangelism stories. He came up to me and said, “Pastor, this past week I fasted for 3 days.” So I said, “Why?” You fast when something special is going on, so I said “Why?” and he said, “Just because.” “Just why?” I asked him again. He said he just fasted and prayed to God for 3 days. “God, lately I have too many pointless desires.” That was his prayer. “God, whether you take my business away or bless it, please do as you see fit. I will use my place of work to share the gospel.” That was the prayer he was making, that was what he was saying. Then, “After finishing the fast and eating gruel, many tears came,” he said. Wow, this deacon – his faith is far better than a pastor’s. This is the gospel, this is the gospel. How powerful this is, it saves many people.

You do not need to worry. If you deeply hold onto what Jesus said today, the kingdom of God will come upon your place of work. The blessings of the throne will be delivered. Please believe. This is the greatest promise in the Bible. That is why the Bible keeps saying it. “The greatest blessing given to those who are saved is the power that comes from above, which cannot be compared to anything on earth.” That is what it means. “If you do this work, no matter how small, not even a cup of cold water will lose its reward.” I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus that today the answers of the kingdom of God, the throne, and that work will be fulfilled for you. Let us pray.

Prayer. We thank God. Please make today a day of a precious covenant. Please make it a day of moving the spiritual world. Please grant the blessing of moving the 237 field sites, the future, and individuals. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Summary
▷ This is the Remnant Summit Committee dedication worship, entrusted with the most precious work. What shall we convey to the Remnant?

Jewish Wisdom / Roman Strength / Acts 19:8-10
→ The Jews, who have won the most awards in the world for being the brightest minds, and Rome, the most powerful nation in the world — these two nations persecuted the early church. These people did not believe. Yet Paul accomplished world evangelization. Acts 19:8-10 contains an important account. Jesus saw the people dying like sheep without a shepherd and had compassion on them. So he said, “Ask that workers be sent for the harvest.” What kind of harvest is this?

→ In Matthew 10:7: “Repent, for the kingdom of God is near.” In Matthew 9:35 as well: “Jesus went throughout, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of heaven.” Yet most people did not believe. What must we now teach?

▣ Introduction

1. Harvest — Send workers for the harvest.
1) Grain harvest (synagogue) — The grain are the Remnant; they went into the synagogues and proclaimed the gospel of the kingdom.
2) The storehouse of the throne — This is about storing that grain in the storehouse of the throne. These are the workers we are asking to be sent.

2. 2030 ~ 2080 (90%)
These are the Remnant who will be active during that time. 90% of jobs that exist now will disappear. Therefore, we must not teach what I think; we must teach what God desires for this age.

3. Genius — God has given every person equally the gift of genius.
1) By oneself (limitation) — There are those who discover their genius on their own, but they will inevitably reach a limit.
2) The three organizations (spiritual problem) — There is genius discovered through the three organizations, and enormous spiritual problems follow.
3) The genius given by God (victory without fighting) — We must find it, because it is 0th priority, meaning not a single person has to fight to win.

RT 7 people — Because God gave the ability from above, there is no need to fight.

▣ Main — What must the workers who come for the harvest do?

1. Heavenly Power — Make them understand the power of the throne that descends from above.
1) 3·9·3 identity — This important thing God has given is what I first enjoy myself.
2) 3·9·3 delivery — I enjoy this thing God has given, and then I deliver it.
3) Me — Within this, I discover myself. I discover the power that God gives.

▷ Because no one believes and in reality people are doing other things, there is no one to fight with and no competitors among those who believe and know.

2. Heavenly Talent — Teach this talent that descends from the throne (9 camps).
1) Only, uniqueness, re-creation — Discovering the “only” that no one can take away, receiving the response of uniqueness that no one else knows, and re-creation becomes visible.
2) Coming-of-age ceremony, mission ceremony, sending ceremony — The coming-of-age ceremony where what I must do for a lifetime emerges, the mission ceremony where the expertise I must live with for a lifetime emerges, and the sending ceremony where what I must do and where for a lifetime emerges — equipped with these, they must be sent out.
3) Platform, bartizan, antenna — Because we receive the power descending from above, a platform forms where people gather, a bartizan is built that saves the dying, and an antenna emerges through which spiritual communication and healing take place.

3. Heavenly Mission — At last this mission is given.
1) CVDIP — From this point, the Remnant begins to see CVDIP.
2) All — Everything becomes CVDIP. Whether falling, rising, in good times, or even going as a slave, this becomes visible.
3) Today — Every day becomes CVDIP. Therefore: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not be in want,” and “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, it is alright.” This covenant must become the covenant of our children.

▣ Conclusion

25, 00, Summit — The Remnant has risen to the top. When this happens, evangelism and receiving answers becomes easy. Healing also begins to take place from this point.

And the two nations (the Jews and Rome) with the greatest power in the world persecuted the early church. But these people did not believe.

[Acts 19:8-10]
Yet Paul accomplished world evangelization. Paul evangelized Rome, and in the Bible there is an important record in Acts 19, verses 8 through 10. Today, Jesus “saw the people all dying like sheep without a shepherd and had compassion on them.” That is what it says.

“Send out workers for the harvest”
So he said, “Ask, ask that workers for the harvest be sent.” Now, what kind of harvest is this? You need to look at this carefully. Because the Jewish people absolutely did not believe, it is very easy.

[Matthew 10:7]
The moment Jesus came, he also said this in Matthew 10, verse 7: “Repent, for the kingdom of God is near.”

[Matthew 9:35]
Looking here at verse 35 today, when asking for workers for the harvest to be sent, it says “Jesus went throughout.” In verse 35, it says “he proclaimed the gospel of the kingdom.” Now, he gave us tremendously important words, yet most people do not believe. So then, the question is what we must now teach. In this Summit Committee, you must absolutely hold onto this covenant.

▣ Introduction

1. Harvest
Not just workers, but “send workers for the harvest.” This is extremely important.

1) Grain (synagogue) — RT
What does the harvest do? It harvests grain. You don’t harvest trash, do you? You harvest grain. It says here today, “he went into the synagogues and proclaimed the gospel of the kingdom.” Going into the synagogues — these grains are precisely our Remnant.

2) The storehouse of the throne
To harvest means to store this grain in a storehouse. What is it? It means storing it in the storehouse of the throne. This is an extremely important work. Ask for workers to be sent to do this.

2. 2030 ~ 2080 (90%)
More important — this is the second point. We are still in the introduction. Setting aside what needs to be done, there is what we must first know. Our Remnant right now are those who will be active from 2030 for about 50 years, up to 2080. So we must not teach them in the style of the 1950s or 60s. There are many teachers, professors, and tutors here right now. When that time comes, 90% of the jobs that exist today will disappear. They still exist right now, but there are phone booths — nobody uses those. It will become like that. Our Remnant need to wake up completely and grab hold of that covenant now. In this situation, the very fact that you have formed a Summit Committee and are taking an interest in children — that itself is a miracle. Right now, ordinary churches are closing their Sunday schools, aren’t they? That makes no sense. Look at these children right now for the time of 2030 to 2080. So as I said last week as well, we must not teach what I think. You absolutely must remember this. If you do, you will fail. We must teach what God desires for this age, 2030 to 2080. The Remnant also need to study hard in school. Study hard and finish quickly. Why? Because that alone is not the answer — you have to see what comes next. If you only focus on that one thing, you’re done.

So in the case of New Age figure Bill Gates (William Henry “Bill” Gates III), he realized while in university that this wasn’t going to work — he realized this himself at the time. He dropped out in his second year. Why? “Finishing all this and doing it afterward will be too late; this won’t work” — and so he dropped out, came out, and created that thing. That doesn’t mean our Remnant should “all drop out.” It means that Bill Gates saw something important. He saw what would happen several decades down the road. This is what completely turned the world upside down. And this man is a person who does the New Age movement, the demonic movement. It was completely taken from us. So the hope is in the Remnant — we don’t know what will happen through the Remnant.

[Acts 19:8-10]
They themselves didn’t know. The secret was delivered here, but they themselves didn’t know things would turn out this way. Now, you must absolutely remember this. This is the message coming out this week.

3. Genius
God gave this (genius) equally to every person. This is truly talent descending from heaven — genius given to everyone, to anyone. We say, “Wow, that person is a genius,” but that person has just made it visible.

1) By oneself (limitation)

And remarkably, Bill Gates right now has a genius discovered through the three organizations. This is now bringing enormous spiritual problems. It has finally arrived. Well, in the case of Freemason-affiliated Steve Jobs (Steven Paul “Steve” Jobs), he had many spiritual problems and died; Michael Jackson (Michael Joseph Jackson) and that spirit — many died like that, all of them.

3) The genius given by God (victory without fighting)
What we want right now — what God wants — is to find the genius given by God, given from above. People don’t believe this. So it is easy. We need to find the genius that God sends down from above, and our committee members, teachers, and Remnant all need to remember this together.

Victory without fighting
Because this is given from above, it is completely 0th priority — you win without fighting. This is the theme of this week’s young adults retreat. We need young adults who have transcended competition. Once this answer is received, the 7 Remnant all won completely, not a single one having to fight.

“The location is somewhat far, transportation might be difficult” — people might expect this, but just wait and see, nothing could be further from the truth. Whether or not you have something, God will raise up and send Remnant with the genius of the age. Because no one believes this, it is so easy to receive answers. You win without even needing to fight.

Young adults must remember this too. This is all for the retreat this week. If it seems like you are already at the level of fighting, it will be hard.

Look. 7 Remnant. God has given ability from above — how can there be any fighting? There can’t. If our church truly does the gospel movement, how could we even be a target to fight? Could we and the devil be a match? We cannot be. We are not.

So we are already now creating something like IMS, something like an elementary school right now. When kids go in at a young age, they absolutely do not come out. If you want to pull out someone who went in wrong at a young age, they have to crash into a train and survive. That’s the only way to get out. They don’t get out. How can you risk such a thing? But when you put them in at a young age, there’s nothing to crash into — history happens.

▣ Main

Now then, what are all of you to do right now? What must the workers who come for the harvest do? This is the first point.

1. Heavenly Power
From now on, make the Remnant completely understand the power of the throne that descends from above. The kings who had captured the 7 Remnant mocked them — and those kings suffered the consequences.

2. Heavenly Talent
The second point. From now on, teach the Remnant completely the talent that descends from the throne. Do you understand? You must absolutely remember this.

3. Heavenly Mission
So give the Remnant the mission of the throne that descends from above and send them out. That is the point.

(Heavenly Power)
Taking this (the power of the throne), this week I called it in English “Heavenly Power” so that the whole world could understand. The reason I deliberately used English is partly for the Remnant, but my message goes out to the whole world right now. What is this (the power of the throne; Heavenly Power)?

(Heavenly Talent)
And we need to plant this Heavenly Talent that descends from above into your children, into our next generation. We must be careful. There is what God has given. We keep trying to plant our own things. The biggest problem in Gangnam right now is that mothers keep trying to plant their own things. Check for yourselves. Kids are going crazy, half of them are on drugs. They’re going out of their minds. Doing all sorts of things. Not trying to put in what God gave, but trying to put in their own things — that’s what’s happening right now.

Go to schools. Because the kids don’t know God, instead of trying to put in what was given from above, the schools are trying to put in things like sex education. Is there anything more than that? Well, you should do well — but don’t try to “especially produce results.” You need to make it so that what is truly God’s is planted in the children.

Not being able to do this (RT 7), this (RT 7) not coming out — it’s because of the parents now. So God, for the characteristic of 7 Remnant, has separated them from their parents. They can’t be left as they are.

This is why the whole world is in an uproar right now. Everything is interfering with this (the genius given by God). Everyone has the genius God gave, yet it is constantly being interfered with. Parents interfere, teachers interfere, going to school interferes — constantly interfering. Open your eyes and take a look. Kids can’t find what God gave them, they wander around, and then later after struggling greatly, they finally find it.

So isn’t that the case with me as well? “Pastor, how do you pray?” “Don’t learn from me. Then it’ll be all wrong.” That’s right. “Hold onto the covenant, stand before God, and learn what God gives — that’s correct.” Do you understand? What kind of spiritual training are you doing? Learning from people is a disaster. The most important promise God has given in the Bible (the power of the throne, the talent of the throne, the mission of the throne).

(Heavenly Mission)
Looking at this, it is called the Heavenly Mission.

1. Heavenly Power
Now, you will know this well. What is the Heavenly Power? It is simple.

1) 3·9·3 identity
This important thing (3·9·3) that God has given is what I first enjoy myself.

2) 3·9·3 delivery
I enjoy this thing (3·9·3) that God has given, and then I deliver it.

3) [Me] — Power
Within this, I discover myself. This is the power God gives — discovering it. Because virtually everyone doesn’t believe, even pastors don’t believe this — so it’s very easy to do, because they don’t believe. In reality they’re doing other things — they don’t believe. So there’s nothing to fight about. Because to fight you need many who believe and know and compete, and there are no competitors, no interest whatsoever. The 7 Remnant have it all — that’s what this means.

2. Heavenly Talent
From this point, 9 kinds of camps unfold. They emerge here.

1) Only, uniqueness, re-creation
Here our Remnant discovers the “only” that no one can take away. Right? This is the camp. This is the study. The Remnant enjoy this (Main 1) covenant and study here, and then a response of uniqueness that no one else knows arrives. And re-creation becomes visible. There’s no stopping it.

2) Coming-of-age ceremony, mission ceremony, sending ceremony
What emerges from this point? What I must do for a lifetime emerges. This is the coming-of-age ceremony. Praying here, it all gets discovered. The expertise I must live with for a lifetime emerges — the mission ceremony. Where I must be and what I must do for a lifetime emerges — the sending ceremony. Equipped with these, they must be sent.

3) Platform, bartizan, antenna
Because we receive the power that God sends down from above, this becomes a platform. People gather at the platform. And a bartizan is formed that saves those who are dying all around. At last, the antenna through which spiritual communication and healing occur emerges. These are the 9 camps. This is what we want to do in our church.

If you just want to barely get by, there’s no need to do this (Main 1), and you can continue doing what you’re doing now. Anyway, you have to build your credentials, run, take exams, compete, and do all of that. Go to school. Precariously climb up, fight in competition, doing it that way. Regardless of God, you have to do it that way. If you’re a bit lucky, you’ll eat well somewhere decent — well, that’s how it goes. You’ll barely get by. Our Remnant must not die worrying about meals. At the very least, our Remnant need to discover the power, talent, and mission of the throne that will move the world.

This message sounds vague to the Pharaoh, but to Joseph and Moses it was a real and practical matter. So to Pharaoh it was like, “What are you talking about right now?” “We’re going to go offer blood sacrifices.” “What nonsense are you saying right now?” To King Saul, it sounded like the words of a fool. “That senseless person” — that’s how he thought of it. But King David talked about this (Main 1-3). Read the Psalms of David carefully — it is full of it (Main 1-3). He was truly different. So when difficulty came, David achieved even greater victory — comfortably, winning without fighting, at ease.

3. Heavenly Mission

1) CVDIP
At last, this mission is given. From this point, our Remnant clearly sees CVDIP. Now, the covenant becomes visible, the vision becomes visible, the dream becomes visible — all of this becomes visible. And it does not end there. Previously, we tried to find this (CVDIP), but there is no need to search for it anymore.

2) All
Once you have truly found this (CVDIP), everything is CVDIP. Right? Whether falling, it’s this (CVDIP); whether rising, it’s this (CVDIP); whether good things come, it’s this (CVDIP). Whether they don’t come, it’s this (CVDIP). Whether going as a slave, it’s this (CVDIP). This becomes visible.

3) Today
Then what does that mean right away? Today, every day is CVDIP. Therefore: “Because the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. Even if I walk through the valley, the dark valley of death, it is alright.” This covenant must become the covenant of your children. Right? When we adults keep going wrong like this, the children suffer.

▣ Conclusion

[5 minutes]
This is the conclusion. Actually tell the Remnant to pray these (Main 1-3) prayers for just 5 minutes. Or do it together at school, 5 minutes at a time. Don’t do it in a boring way — just do it 5 minutes at a time with various different topics.

[Imprint, root, disposition]
When done this way, it finds a rhythm. When young, only a little was done, yet this wondrous thing rides the rhythm and becomes like this (imprint, root, disposition). What was fully imprinted as unbelief, what the adults imprinted as worldly words — this (Main 1-3) now begins to be fully imprinted.

From this point, our Remnant survive anywhere — why? Because they become 24. This is the confession Joseph made. He said, “The Lord was with me.” David made it. Paul made it. Jesus promised it. Wherever you are, it’s alright — exactly like that. Praying for 5 minutes becomes 24 like this. This doesn’t just end.

[25, 00 Summit]
It becomes like this (25, 00). Oh, this is 25, 00. This is what we call becoming a summit. Our Remnant have now risen to the top. When this happens, it is easy. Evangelism becomes the easiest, and receiving answers becomes the easiest. Healing also begins to take place from this point.

You must never forget this for your entire life. When you are actually trying to teach the Remnant these things, the answers come to you first. I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus that the greatest day for our Remnant Summit Committee begins today.

Prayer. God, at this time, let the work of the Triune God happen invisibly in me and in the next generation. Let the blessing of the throne work in our schools, fields, and work today. Let the power to save this age be given to the Remnant. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Matthew 9:14-17

14 Then John’s disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?”
15 Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
16 No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse.
17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

Summary

People do not know what real prayer is. So students keep asking difficult and unrelated questions. Even pastors, when a problem arises, do not return to compassion but return to hatred. Because most people cannot pray, they go out and lose. Taking advantage of this gap, the three organizations are now actively teaching counterfeit prayer (meditation).

▣ Introduction

1. What Jesus spoke about from the very beginning, continuously, was prayer.
1) He took them up to a mountain and taught them what true blessing is (Matthew 5).
2) Right there on that mountain, He taught about prayer and even said there is no need to pray for this thing or that thing (Matthew 6).
3) John the Baptist’s disciples and the Pharisees asking why Jesus’ disciples do not fast, and Jesus’ answer (Matthew 9) – “Should you fast at a wedding banquet? Do it after the bridegroom is taken away. Would you sew new cloth onto old clothing? Would you put new wine into old wineskins? If you do, both the cloth and the wineskin will be torn.”
(1) If you do not know prayer, you will just do it as a program, like a Jewish ceremony.
(2) Prayer is something directed to God, and God is the one who answers – but people practice asceticism and self-mortification on their own.
(3) That is why the descendants of Israel went into slavery, were captured in war and taken as prisoners of war, and became a wandering people.

2. Why the power and happiness of prayer must be restored
▷ You must be able to explain to the Remnant, to others, and to the sick what correct prayer is.
1) If you do not know prayer and the spiritual world, you have no choice but to talk a lot.
2) If you truly do not know the power and background of prayer, you will become anxious and frustrated.
3) If you do not know prayer, everything becomes a worry.

3. Real prayer must begin.
1) Knowing prayer is the same as knowing the gospel.
2) Try it as an experiment – when a child of God prays, answers come. You can even save your family. We have no strength of our own, but we can change the world.
3) How do we actually pray?
(1) Prayer spoken aloud (corporate prayer, mountain prayer, early morning prayer, all-night prayer) – these become deeply imprinted on the brain and soul, and answers come accordingly.
(2) David’s prayer – he prayed while praising alone. World-changing things happened.
▷ You must find real prayer. You must be able to tell the Remnant and disciples, “Let us pray this way.”
(3) The evangelist’s prayer – breathing slowly in order to do 24, turning all your thoughts, all that you hear, and all that you see into prayer.

▣ Main_ Three things Jesus taught about prayer

1. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)
1) His kingdom – the power of the throne
(1) Genesis 1:27 – that this would enter into my very soul
Genesis 2:7 – that this would enter into my very life
(2) The blessing of the throne – that the wondrous blessing of the throne that saves the world would enter into me
(3) The power to save the three ages – pray that this would enter into me
▷ When breathing in this prayer, and when breathing out, deliver the power of God to those who come to mind.
2) His righteousness – since God has given us righteousness, when you see someone who has gone wrong, pray for them with compassion. Pray with a heart of forgiveness. Pray that the power of God’s throne would come upon them.
▷ Pray that this power would come upon your work. You are saved children of God. “Do not pray any other prayers. That is what the Gentiles do. God already knows. Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

2. Like being at a wedding banquet – the experience of one who is with Christ, one who has met Christ
1) Christ himself came carrying the power of the triune God, the blessing of the throne, and the power to save the age.
2) Enjoying this power of Christ is prayer – Christ is the channel of this immense blessing of the throne. The name that tears down darkness and binds the power of Satan is Jesus Christ.
▷ Do not miss it. Actually try it. Do not doubt it. Really try it.

3. The prayer taught at Mt Olive
1) Through His resurrection, He proved without words that Jesus is the Christ.
2) He taught prayer. For 40 days He explained the things of the kingdom of God.
3) Nothing else can save the world. You will only receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit. That is prayer. – When the power of the throne fully comes upon me, that is the fullness of the Holy Spirit. To save the world, the power of the throne is needed.
▷ Fast later. Do it after the bridegroom is taken away. The tremendous event of Christ being executed on the cross will occur – do it then. Israel will be destroyed from keep praying wrong prayers without the gospel. Do it then. The descendants were scattered to more than twenty countries and were massacred. Do it then.

▣ Conclusion_ Pray until you rise to the spiritual summit.
▷ If you enjoy the power of the throne actually coming upon you and being delivered to you, this is an incomparable happiness. The spiritual summit – once you reach the very top, you can see everything. Pray until then. If the work of our descendants does not rise to the summit, world evangelization cannot happen. Pray.
1. If you pray just 5 minutes a day, a rhythm will develop later.
2. It becomes 24. This is what it means to truly enjoy the blessing of prayer.
3. This answer will certainly turn into 25. This is the kingdom of God. From that point on, you become a summit.

When your children graduate from elementary school, they will go to middle school, right? If they do not know how to pray, what should that middle schooler do? It will certainly be difficult. But people do not actually know what prayer is. When I have held retreats, even university students ask questions, and you can see they have absolutely no understanding of prayer at all. So they keep asking other questions. These questions are not even important, but they keep asking them.

Even pastors – when a problem suddenly arises, they do not return to compassion but return to hatred. No matter how much someone has done wrong, you must look at them with compassion and mercy, but they look at them through eyes of hatred. What is wrong is not something to view through the law. It must be repented of. It must be realized. So because most people cannot pray, what happens? They go out and lose. Taking advantage of this gap, the three organizations are actively teaching counterfeit prayer. They have established meditation universities. What are you going to do about it? And finally, general universities are now offering meditation departments and awarding credits for them. Right now.

▣ Introduction

1. What Jesus spoke about from the very beginning, continuously, was prayer.

Right there on that mountain He taught about prayer. John’s disciples also asked how to pray, like that. Jesus even said there is no need for this kind of prayer or that kind of prayer.
3) John the Baptist’s disciples and the Pharisees asking why Jesus’ disciples do not fast, and Jesus’ answer (Matthew 9)

And in today’s text He already comes and speaks. “Why do you and your disciples not fast right now?” It seems it may have been a fasting week. John the Baptist’s disciples also come and ask. Why do you not fast? Looking at the record in Mark, the Pharisees also come and say – why don’t you fast? Like that. For the Pharisees, charity events, prayer events, and fasting events are programs. They don’t really understand prayer. But Jesus answered like this. “A feast has been set – would you fast at the house of the feast? Do whatever after the bridegroom leaves. You should do it after the bridegroom is taken away, so why are you doing it now, at the feast? Would you sew new cloth onto old clothing? Would you put new wine into old wineskins? Then wouldn’t that cloth be torn? Wouldn’t that wineskin be torn?” This is what Jesus is saying now.

If you don’t know prayer, do you know what happens to your children? If they don’t know prayer, they just do it as a program, like a Jewish ceremony. Because they don’t know prayer, they don’t know what prayer is. So they go and practice all kinds of asceticism and self-mortification. Thinking that is prayer. Religious organizations do that, right? They go and practice and mortify themselves, and to them that is prayer. Prayer is something directed to God, and God is the one who answers – but they practice asceticism and self-mortification on their own, like this. That is why the people of Israel, their descendants, went into slavery. They were captured in war and taken as prisoners, and in the end they became a wandering people.

2. Why the power and happiness of prayer must be restored

Today you must truly recover the power of prayer, the happiness of prayer. You must know what prayer is and actually recover it. Then you will be able to explain to the Remnant, to other people, to the sick when you meet them, what prayer is. You must explain what correct prayer is. Then when that prayer comes out, answers will start coming quickly.

Because they don’t know prayer, if they don’t know the true happiness of prayer, there’s nothing to be done. They have to keep having word feasts. And how nice is that for a church? Because you gather, it’s easy to talk. They keep having word feasts. Someone asked, “Why do so many church people catch COVID?” They asked like this. “Because they gather, many catch it.” That’s what I said. Other places – temples and such – don’t gather. If you don’t gather, you don’t catch it. The church has to gather and worship, so you catch it sometimes, and it goes like that.

These days, as science and medicine advance, people said three things. “People who talk a lot die early.” They cited medical evidence for this. And, “People who are hasty and anxious, with short breathing, die early.” Someone said, “But I know someone who doesn’t talk much and is quiet, but they died early too.” “People who have a lot of inner worries and thoughts die early.” This has been medically proven as well.

1) If you do not know prayer and the spiritual world, you have no choice but to talk a lot.

But people who know the spiritual world don’t speak that way. If you don’t know prayer, if you don’t know the spiritual world, you have no choice but to talk a lot. Isn’t that right?

2) If you truly do not know the power and background of prayer, you will become anxious and frustrated.

If I truly don’t know the power and background of prayer, I have no choice but to become anxious and frustrated.

3) If you do not know prayer, everything becomes a worry.

If you don’t know prayer, everything becomes a worry. Every thought becomes a worry. That is unavoidable.

3. Real prayer must begin.
1) Knowing prayer is the same as knowing the gospel.

Knowing prayer is the same as knowing the gospel. From today, you must begin real prayer. Try it. How should real prayer be done? We will talk about that in the Main section.

2) Try it as an experiment.

Try the experiment. You are children of God. There must be evidence. When you pray, you receive answers. When you pray, you can save your family. When you pray, we have no power of our own, but we can change the world. Hasn’t the evidence come out?

3) How do we actually pray?

Because of that, you who are praying must know that content today – how should you actually pray?

(1) Prayer spoken aloud (corporate prayer, mountain prayer, early morning prayer, all-night prayer)

You can actually pray out loud. That is a very good prayer. Pray out loud. Corporate prayer is very important. So when you cry out on a mountain, or cry out in prayer at church in the early morning or at night, this becomes deeply imprinted on your brain and soul. The answers come accordingly. What you do wrongly comes back wrongly, and what you do rightly comes back rightly. We’ll look at what needs to be done in the Main section.

You must actually find prayer for yourselves. Also, some people can pray while taking a walk. Some people will put on music, put on worship songs, and enter into prayer. There are various ways, right? You have to find it. Someone like Immanuel Kant would pray while hiking a mountain at exactly 4 in the morning, without missing a single day. It’s possible.

(2) David’s prayer

In David’s case, when he was alone, he would pray while praising. So world-changing things happened. So the point is, you must actually find your own way of prayer. And you must be able to tell the Remnant. There are parents here, right? You must be able to tell your children. Right? You must be able to tell your disciples, “Let us pray this way.” Just blurting out “Let’s fast” without even knowing prayer – that makes it into a program.

(3) The evangelist’s prayer

In my case, among the many methods of prayer, I chose the method that fits me best. When I began this prayer, I became very happy. I can pray aloud with my voice, but it’s hard to do that all day long. I can pray while taking a walk, but I can only pray a little that way, and it’s impossible to do 24. Having worship music playing all day long is even more impossible. So I chose: “Turn all my thoughts into prayer.” That’s possible, isn’t it? Everything I hear is a lot. Turn it into prayer. Turn everything I see into prayer. While doing that, there is something else I do. I now pray slowly while breathing. There are very many answers –

even before that, I can enjoy the true happiness of prayer together with God.

▣ Main_ Three things Jesus taught about prayer

Now then, what should we pray for? Actually try this prayer. Among the many prayers Jesus taught, He taught three major ones. So you need to know, right? What did He say?

1. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)

Don’t pray this prayer or that prayer! God already knows all of that. Those are prayers done by people who haven’t understood the gospel. Right? “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you.”

At that time, what were the Jewish people thinking? How can I get ahead? How can I push that person aside and climb up? How can I take what’s theirs? That’s all they were thinking about. How can I get into Herod’s good graces and secure a position? They thought that was success. “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and I will give you everything,” He said.

1) His kingdom – the power of the throne

What is the kingdom? You know what that word “kingdom” means, right? This is the power of the throne. Pray for this, He says.

(1) Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:7

This – actually, Genesis 1:27, that it would enter into my soul. Genesis 2:7, that it would enter into my life.

(2) The blessing of the throne

And that the wondrous blessing of God’s throne that saves the world would enter into me. Try it.

(3) The power to save the three ages

That the power to save the three ages would enter into me. Pray for this, He says. I do this when I breathe in, and when I breathe out, I deliver the power of God in prayer to each of you who come to mind. Pray for this, He says. Try it. If you truly recover this prayer, the Remnant will be completely changed. They will study well and gain great spiritual strength. Perhaps some of you feel that your child is spiritually off? If so, try to help them. “You are a child of God. During your prayer time, you must believe that the triune God is invisibly working in you by the Spirit. The power of the throne, which the world cannot know, is coming upon you. The power to save the three ages is coming upon you. Receive this by faith through prayer.” Especially for a sick child, “Receive it while breathing slowly.” Actually teach them this. And slowly when breathing out, “Pray that it comes upon every difficult area of your studies, upon every part of your life.”

You must believe this. I am not just saying this casually.

2) His righteousness – since God has given us righteousness, when you see someone who has gone wrong, pray for them with compassion. Pray with a heart of forgiveness. Pray that the power of God’s throne would come upon them.

And what else? “Seek his righteousness.” What is righteousness? Faith, the gospel, salvation – doesn’t it include all of that? Since God has given us that righteousness, “This does not mean to overlook the wrongs of those around you – pray for them with compassion.” “It does not mean to stay silent when you see someone doing wrong – pray for them with a heart of forgiveness.” “Pray that God’s power, the power of the throne, would come upon them.” Someone asked me to pray for a person with a mental illness, so I kept doing this prayer for that person. Try the experiment and see what happens. You all know, don’t you? Among your family members, you know who is spiritually weak, who has depression. So start praying, I tell you, without losing heart. Some people have someone severely demonized, right? Actually try praying. For those who have cancer it is essential. Those who have experienced cancer absolutely must do this. Do this prayer in reality, I tell you.

Because this is not being taught, shamans are taking everything. Because this is not being taught, the three organizations are coming in and the meditation movement is infiltrating the schools, and the children are in an uproar right now. You don’t need to worry about anything else. While all the congregants and our descendants in the field are being stolen away through useless worrying, what other worries are there? We must pray that the power of the throne would come upon them. You keep worrying about other things. Pray that this power would come upon your work, truly. You are saved children of God, I tell you. This isn’t my word. This is Jesus’ word. “Do not pray any other prayers” – Jesus said directly. “For that is what the Gentiles do,” He said. “Before you ask for anything, God already knows.” “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you.” That’s it. Because we ignore Jesus’ words like that, we are not people who believe in Jesus, if that’s the case. Isn’t that right? Try it, I tell you. Where do you need to go and bring someone to do this? You don’t need to. Aren’t you yourselves direct children of God? Try this prayer, I tell you. I am not saying prayer centers are wrong. I think I don’t need to go. There isn’t time. And you need to help your children correctly – they don’t even know this. How could you do something so dangerous? Some people, out of frustration, leave their church and wander all over. Because they’re frustrated. It only gets worse for you when you do that. This is an opportunity for our Remnant. Our Remnant are children of God. Teach them the secret of the blessing of the throne coming upon and being delivered through the Remnant – that’s what it is.

2. Like being at a wedding banquet – the experience of one who is with Christ, one who has met Christ

He taught a second prayer. That is today’s text. What does it say? Being like one at a wedding banquet – that is the secret of prayer. Fasting is not the important thing – that is what He is saying. The wedding banquet – an Israeli wedding banquet, we may not know but those people know. They feast for a week. At that time the groom wears royal robes and the bride wears a queen’s garment. Friends come and feast and eat and rejoice like this. So if a newly married man had to go to the army, they would give him a one-year deferment. So it was an enormously joyful event, a once-in-a-lifetime thing. The experience of one who is with Christ, one who has met Christ – is like that, He says.

1) Christ who came himself carrying the power of the triune God, the blessing of the throne, and the power to save the age

This immense power of the triune God, and the blessing of the throne, and the power to save the age – He brought all of it himself, right now.

2) Enjoying this power of Christ is prayer

Enjoying this power of Christ – that is prayer. Simply put, Christ is the channel of this immense blessing of the throne. There has to be a path, doesn’t there? That is why the elder just prayed, “I pray in the name of Jesus.” The name that tears down darkness and binds the power of Satan is Jesus Christ, I tell you. Don’t miss it. Actually try it. Try it, I tell you. Without doubting. Really.

3. The prayer taught at Mt Olive

Jesus also taught prayer at the end. What was that? He called them to Mt Olive.

1) Through His resurrection, He proved without words that Jesus is the Christ.

Through His resurrection, He proved without words that Jesus is the Christ. Right? This is important. True evidence needs no words. The moment the disciples saw Jesus, He proved He was the Christ.

2) He taught prayer. For 40 days He explained the things of the kingdom of God.

3) Nothing else can save the world. You will only receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit. That is prayer.

Now when the power of the throne comes fully upon me, isn’t that the fullness of the Holy Spirit? If all you want is to barely eat and get by, you don’t need it – but if you want to save the world, you need the power of the throne. If my work is to survive fierce competition and struggle, I can barely eat. If my work must truly save the world, the blessing of the throne must come. Do not believe lies. You must believe the word of God. I am certain. I am someone who has experienced this prayer. I am certain.

When you today hold onto this covenant, we don’t test God, do we? We can experiment to see if actual answers come or not. You must try it. Jesus said this: “Fast later. Do it after the bridegroom is taken away.” The tremendous event of Christ being executed on the cross will occur. Do it then. Israel will be destroyed from keep praying wrong prayers without the gospel. Do it then. That is history. They fell in 70 AD. That is when they needed to fast. The descendants were scattered to more than twenty countries and were massacred. Do it then, not now. Because they don’t know what the true happiness of prayer is. You understand prayer as “something tremendously painful.” That is what Buddhism does. Because they don’t believe in God, what Buddhism does. “Prayer is about practicing asceticism and mortifying yourself.” That is done without God.

You must first understand prayer correctly. This prayer is tremendous. Even while you are worshipping now, you must recover this. This prayer must be enjoyed always. Always. It’s fine even in your thoughts. It’s fine even in words. If you have a quiet moment, “God, triune God, come upon me.” That is good. “Work upon me with the power of the throne so that I can save this world, and let me save the world.” Prayer – you can even do it in words, I tell you. In my case, because I need to do a lot of 24, I can’t go around talking out loud like that for 24, so I do it with my breathing, like this. By the prayer I enjoy, by God’s grace, I am healthy through this prayer I enjoy. I am grateful.

▣ Conclusion_ Pray until you rise to the spiritual summit.

Even for many things concerning the flesh, we are happy when we get a little help, aren’t we? Right? Even when you move into a nice house, you are happy. And when you’ve been living with difficulty and you buy a nice car, riding in it makes you happy. If you enjoy the power of the throne actually coming upon you and being delivered to you, this is an incomparable happiness. Until when? Until you rise to the summit. That is the standard. When you reach the very top of a mountain, you can see the whole village. When you rise to the spiritual summit, you can see everything. Pray until you reach there, I tell you. Tell the Remnant, “Pray until you reach this (spiritual summit). Enjoy prayer until the work you do rises to the summit for the glory of God.” Absolutely, if the work of our descendants does not rise to the summit, world evangelization cannot happen. Pray.

Jesus said it. He said He will give everything. Right? “If you seek his kingdom and his righteousness, I will give you everything,” He said.

1. If you pray just 5 minutes a day, a rhythm will develop later.

Starting now, if you just do 5 minutes a day, a rhythm will suddenly develop later. Do you understand? Or at least you have to sleep. Before you sleep, try just 5 minutes.

2. It becomes 24.

▷ Today is the missions dedication worship. We all receive the blessing of having to do missions. Whenever you pray, just keep this always in mind.

▷ “I have all authority in heaven and on earth and will always be with you.” We must now believe and receive this. In the six days, then, you can confirm it. Through the covenant of missions, when you hold on to the covenant, “demons will be cast out, the sick will be healed,” and God seated on the throne promised He would work. At the final pulpit, you will be witnesses to the ends of the earth, and He explained the things of the kingdom of God for 40 days. You can keep enjoying this prayer. The problem is that responses keep coming, but we miss them because of our own thinking. The more you think, the more you grasp onto something; but the more you pray, the more you begin to see something. Responses come through problems — Matthew 13:11-13 shows that God is concealing things in order to give them to you. The devil mainly tempts through Genesis chapters 3, 6, and 11 — that is, the self-centered nature. When Jesus did missions, the very first thing He did was come to call the sick and sinners.

▣ Introduction

1. Tax collector — an intermediary errand-runner. At that time, the tax collector was a sinner who ran errands for Rome while the nation was a vassal state and extorted money in the process. Jesus went directly to the tax collector. If one is a truly capable evangelist, if it is truly the gospel, that is what must be done.
2. Christ — Christ is the one who, when we make our confession of faith, enthrones that place, and the moment one meets Christ, He is the one who enthrones the individual. The church is a place where kings, servants, and slaves all attend worship, where one realizes the blessing of the throne and where people are saved.
3. The Curse — Through Christ, three curses are resolved. Without removing the curse, everything else is useless.

▣ Main_ How should we do missions?

1. Sinner — Witness. Missions is calling sinners and making them into witnesses.
1) Seeking — Jesus went and found Matthew.
2) Disciple — Jesus even ate with him, which means He was making him a disciple.
3) The Gospel of Matthew — Matthew wrote the Gospel of Matthew. The gospel and evangelism mean making sinners into witnesses.

2. The Sick — Witness. Missions is bringing the sick to fundamental healing in the name of Christ and making them into witnesses.
1) The woman with the flow of blood — Jesus healed her.
2) The paralytic — Jesus healed the paralytic.
3) The mute — Jesus healed the mute as well.
4) The leper — He healed the leper as well.
5) The demon-possessed — He healed the demon-possessed.
▷ Jesus healed people whom hospitals could not touch. To us as well, Mark 16:15-20 says, “They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

3. The Abandoned — Witness. Calling the abandoned and establishing them as witnesses. It is not finding talented people to use them, but healing the many spiritual problems they have.
1) The courtyard of the Gentiles

3) The courtyard of prayer
▷ In Scripture, these are the most important things for the building of the temple and for evangelism. This is healing. The many nations and the Remnant must be raised according to what God desires. We must not raise them according to our own will. Israel missed everything by pursuing the kibbutz movement, the chosen people movement, and the talent movement.

▣ Conclusion

1. RT, TCK — The Remnant and TCKs must hold on to Heavenly Power, Heavenly Talent, and Heavenly Mission.
2. Many nations — The many nations who are already here must become the top priority (0순위) within the gospel. The seven Remnant were the top priority, and our current evangelism movement is the top priority.
3. Elite — Truly elite people have many spiritual problems. In order to save them, we must become elite.

▷ Accepting 3, 9, 3 is prayer. This is what we call being filled with the Holy Spirit, and this is our identity, and conveying this is authority.

Today is the missions dedication worship. We all receive the blessing of having to do missions. This is something I have always kept in mind for 40 years. You simply need to keep this always in mind as well. Whenever you pray now. And then you can confirm it.

Matthew 28:16-20
“I have all authority in heaven and on earth and will always be with you.” That is what it says. You must now believe and receive this. Then during the six days, you can confirm it.

Mark 16:15-20
Clearly, because of your covenant missions — when you hold on to the covenant — “demons will be cast out, the sick will be healed, and they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.” That is clearly what it says.

Acts 1:1-8
The Lord seated on the throne promised that He would work. Jesus personally explained it. This is the final pulpit, you see. You will be witnesses to the ends of the earth. He explained the things of the kingdom of God for 40 days. If you pray this now, you can keep enjoying it continuously. The problem is this: during the six days, these responses keep coming, but we are missing them right now. We are missing them because of our own immediate thinking. That is why it is better to not need my own thinking. You just need to keep doing this prayer. There is an enormous difference between praying a lot about one particular thing and thinking a lot about it. The more you think, the more you end up grasping onto something. But the more you pray, the more you begin to see something. This is important.

Problem

Now, the reason this part has been left open is this: responses are coming, yet God may sometimes give things through a problem. So because you see the world as something great, when a problem comes you become afraid. And another reason you become even more afraid is that you yourself have been planting those kinds of thoughts, so it seems like what is coming is that. So you feel anxious. You just need to start fresh quickly. It is not a problem — the response is coming through it — but we keep thinking of it as a problem. So now, start anew. If you look carefully at what comes in the form of a problem, there are many answers inside it. We miss them, which is why things are the way they are. When I have a financial problem right now, I need to deal with it genuinely and surely at the root. That is right, isn’t it? It is an opportunity. If you look at it roughly, people keep trying to muddle through and deceive themselves. And then it ends up that way again. There is no need for that. Because you are children of God, there is no need to keep being deceived. Clearly, He is working like this.

(Matthew 13:11-13)

Because the things we call problems are usually what gets written down and comes out, in Matthew 13:11-13, God is not so much deceiving you in order to give to you — rather, He is concealing it. That is right, isn’t it? If people believe in Jesus, pray, and then automatically receive blessings — with all the con artists sitting around, that won’t work. So He conceals it just a little. That is right, isn’t it? “I just went and prayed and the response came”? That would be terrible. He arranges things so that it looks a little like a problem so that you seek out the answer. You must absolutely not miss it.

(Genesis 3, 6, 11)

Also, there is mainly this reason as well. No matter who it is, I am the center, aren’t I? In Genesis chapter 3, the devil tempted through this very thing. “If you eat this, your eyes will be opened.” And so — “Oh?” — that is what happened. Needless to say about the world, when you go to university, what do they immediately teach? “Find yourself.” Something like that. How apt-sounding is that? And people fall for it. There is nothing to find, yet they say “find yourself,” so it feels tremendously attractive. Strangely, there are some young people who went to university and fell for it. Then those who have spiritual problems come along and get sucked in. That group Shincheonji — they align everything they say front and back perfectly. And people get sucked in. Even though what they are saying makes no sense at all, people get sucked in. Why is that? Because there is a spiritual problem in that person. And then there is going abroad. At first you don’t know, but if you think about it quietly, one day drugs just seem ordinary. So people who have spiritual problems — if you come into contact with that in large amounts, you may genuinely never be able to get out. Do not be deceived.

“Jesus Who Came to Call the Sick and Sinners” (Matthew 9:9-13)

So when Jesus did missions, what did He show us first? The title first of all: Jesus who came to call the sick and sinners. These are words we know well. And yet, we may still not be fully enjoying this as a response. Today, in Matthew 9:9 through 13, Jesus spoke. This is Scripture we know very, very well. Scripture that anyone who has attended church for at least a few years would know. And yet this is not easy.

▣ Introduction

Why is this not easy? Because most people seek out the successful, not these (the sick and sinners) — so why would you seek them out? We say in words that we do it with a good heart to encourage and comfort, but there is no real reason to stake your life on it. And in today’s text, the Pharisees criticized it. It may seem ordinary to you, but it was an enormous thing. “How is it that your teacher eats with those sinners?” That is what today’s text says. Jesus said, “I came to do this (call the sick) and this (call sinners).” Think carefully about this. When people normally want to succeed, they have to run out and hustle. Does this (calling the sick and sinners) appear to be something? You have to do something. That is the kind of situation it becomes. But if you are truly successful, you can do it. That is right, isn’t it?

Tax Collector — Intermediary, Errand-runner

Who did He go to? He went to a tax collector. Jesus went to him. Others came. But Jesus directly found and called a tax collector. Today nationwide, a tax accountant is an intellectual. But it was not like that back then. Today, someone working at customs is a civil servant. But it is not a type of civil servant people particularly rejoice over. When someone from the tax office comes, you get a little scared. In that situation then — adults would know this, but the Remnant may not. Israel had been made a vassal state of Rome. The Romans used their heads. They conquered nation after nation, and when they looked around, they had no other option. They had to collect taxes, and there was only one way.

To put it simply, they gathered the troublemakers from the neighborhood. Simple enough then — the method. “If you don’t listen, I’ll kill you.” Just like that, and “Do as you’re told.” And then: “Collect taxes. When you collect, send up to a certain amount to Rome. For the remaining amount, inflate the number a little and live off the difference. How much you inflate or deflate is up to you.” Remarkable, right? That is what the tax system was like back then. So if this person found out you had earned money: “You must pay this much in taxes.” If Rome’s portion was ten million won, “Pay twenty million won.” And if you didn’t pay, he would report you. That worked. You had no choice but to pay. If someone was on really close terms with him or really pleaded, he might knock it down a bit. Someone who truly got on his nerves? He would hike it up a lot. It was completely at his discretion.

Now, who on earth would like this person? Jesus called this tax collector. And when He called him, the Pharisees immediately saw and criticized it. Just imagine this person’s position. A vassal of Rome, running errands while, simply put, extorting money from people. Someone in the middle doing various kinds of errand work. If you are truly an intellectual, truly an evangelist, you would have to go to these people.

For Jesus, healing the sick and going to people was done from the beginning. He went to Peter, and He called Matthew. Just as you heard in today’s message, if you are truly an evangelist doing missions, you can go to this person. If you truly have ability, you will go to this person. That is right, isn’t it? When I personally feel I must succeed, that I must not fail or something terrible will happen — people in that state cannot go to them. If I were successful, there would be no reason I could not go.

Among my university classmates, there is someone I am not particularly close to but who is a decent enough person. He came to see me once and told me something. What did he do? He said he goes into the mountains, gathers people of a certain level, and does ministry. I visited him once in the Gimpo area. Whether it is going well or not I cannot tell, but naturally, it would not be going well. There is another person, from Yeongdo. He said he gathers only elites and does a community church. That is the only thing with hope, he says. It has been a long time, and of course it is not doing well.

That is not what Jesus wants. Jesus did not want to lure in elites and benefit the church. We have already received everything. We need to go to those people and save them. That is right, isn’t it? Historically, not a single church that did it that way has ever done well. And yet there are many who insist on Genesis chapter 3 — the self-promotion. Many theological students and juniors are coming up, and you need to think carefully. To become a proper minister, you must have no sense of “I will do this.” That is right, isn’t it? “I go where God sends me. I do what the church wants. No other reason.” That is how it must be. Why go all the way up to some mountain peak, into a secluded place — if God tells you to go in, then go in. But if He is not telling you to go in, you must not keep misusing the church that way. That is right, isn’t it? The church is not a place for Pastor Ryu Kwang-su or any leader to settle personal grudges. It is the place where God’s plan is fulfilled. That is right, isn’t it? You must do missions properly. Jesus went to the tax collector, I tell you. At that time, plainly speaking, it was a sinner. Very problem-ridden sinners — He went to them. Why did He do that? Because if it is truly the gospel, that is what you must do. That is right, isn’t it? If it were a religion where I am trying to accomplish something, you should not go — the math does not work out. Right? When you calculate it, it does not add up — so why go? But if you are a truly genuine leader, you must go. This is the very one who has problems on both sides.

2. Christ — Enthronement

We need to know who Christ is. That is right, isn’t it? It came out in the first service today: the one who enthrones that place when you make your confession of faith — that is Christ. The moment you meet that covenant, Christ is the one who enthrones your individual self. You must remember this. Even if you find it hard to believe, there is nothing to be done about it. It is the truth. If you do not believe it, you will die with spiritual problems. There is nothing that can be done about that. What more is needed — that is what I mean. That pastor, he is someone from this neighborhood. I have not met him personally. I just heard about him from classmates. “So-and-so is doing such and such.” I see. So I said, “What a pity. He is a decent enough person, why is he doing that?” The church just needs to preach the gospel accurately. That is right, isn’t it? Whether it is a beggar or an elite, God is the one who does it. That is right, isn’t it? Both beggars and elites must come to church. The church is a place where kings attend worship, where servants and slaves attend as well. That is right, isn’t it? When you go to church, it is a place where you realize the blessing of the throne and where people are saved.

3. The Curse

Not only did Christ give the blessing of the throne, but through Him, three things are finally resolved. No matter how much money you make, if you do not remove this (the curse), it is all useless. You go through all that hardship earning money, and the hope of earning is there. That is all there is. There is the hope of earning, the hope of “I will earn,” but there is no happiness. Because you are in this (the curse). Truly happy people — like the couple Priscilla and Aquila — even after earning money and helping every single evangelist, they had more than enough. That is right, isn’t it? And someone like Gaius — even after helping Paul and every single evangelist, there was more than enough, I tell you. If you cannot get out of here, it will not work. That is why you must absolutely pray.

▣ Main

How should we do missions?

1. Sinner — Witness

For you, calling sinners and making them into witnesses — this is missions. No, when you look at a completely different kind of person — the perishing, the broken — you call them, help them come to know Christ, and make them into witnesses.

1) Seeking

There is something more important. It was not Matthew who came looking for Jesus. Jesus went looking for Matthew. That is right, isn’t it? We must do this too.

2) Disciple

And what happened next? Matthew was so happy that they even had a meal together at the house. Not just an ordinary meal — they threw a feast. Seeing that is what they criticized. Religious people who have not grasped the gospel always see that and criticize it. “How is it that your teacher eats with those sinners like that?” In our Gyeongsang dialect, something like, “Have you lost your mind, what are you doing right now?” Something like that. It is absolutely mind-boggling. At that house, the fact that Jesus ate a meal means He joined in — He was making him a disciple.

3) The Gospel of Matthew

There is no time. I will say it briefly. Do you know what this tax collector Matthew went on to do later? He produced something greater than ten thousand Romans and Israelite intellectuals combined — this person wrote the Gospel of Matthew. That is remarkable. What is the gospel and what is evangelism? Making sinners into witnesses.

2. The Sick — Witness

What is evangelism? Missions is calling the sick, bringing them to fundamental healing in the name of Christ, and making the sick into witnesses. Why is that?

1) The woman with the flow of blood
Jesus healed the woman with the flow of blood. She appeared earlier.

2) The paralytic
Jesus healed the paralytic this morning as well, saying, “Rise, take up your bed and go home.”

3) The mute
Jesus healed the mute as well,

4) The leper
And the leper as well.

5) The demon-possessed
And more than that — He healed the demon-possessed.

What is the characteristic of all these? People who came in conditions that hospitals could not touch. Jesus healed these people. What does this mean? Clearly in Mark chapter 16, He said to us as well, “Cast out demons in my name, and lay hands on the sick and they will recover.”

As for what I do during the six days — I look at this message, pray through it, and then simply confirm what responses have come. That is sufficient. These days — even during the COVID period — we are gathering in double the numbers. We see even more works. When I meet someone I do not know, I feel embarrassed. They greet me and say, “Pastor, it must be difficult because of COVID,” and yet it is not difficult at all for us — we are growing even more. But I cannot very well say “Yes, we are doing even better.” So I just say, “Well, yes, um…” like that. The churches doing this gospel movement right now — how remarkable. During COVID, when people cannot gather because they are blocked from gathering, all budgets for evangelism activities and the economy have gone up. Only our denomination is like this. What a remarkable thing.

You must know what evangelism and missions are. You call sinners, help them understand, establish them as witnesses, and establish the sick as witnesses.

3. The Abandoned — Witness

Calling the abandoned and establishing them as witnesses. It is not finding talented people and exploiting them — even talented people have many spiritual problems. You go and heal them.

1) The courtyard of the Gentiles
That is why in Scripture, the most important thing for building the temple and for evangelism — the courtyard of the Gentiles.

3) The courtyard of prayer
The courtyard of prayer. This is healing, I tell you.

These three always existed. But even though you know the words, an actual work will only happen when it becomes truly yours.

Right now our church also has many people from many nations. You really need to look upon these people with great care. It is not about unconditionally drawing them in — you must look carefully. You need to see what it is they need. That is all. Do you think you can go to all 237 nations? Honestly, you cannot go, and you do not need to go. Why would you go? With all this communications media available, why go? That is why God is teaching us the age of non-face-to-face contact through COVID right now. In that case, what must we do with the people who are already here? We must do well at our church. You cannot be indifferent, and you cannot pull people in too forcibly either. You need to know what God wants for each person. You understand, right? That is all there is to it.

How ridiculous some churches are. A North Korean person came to me in tears and told me. “Pastor, I come to Yewon Church and whenever I hear the core messages, I receive the most grace, but I have a concern.” “What is it?” I asked. Some church is telling them to come to their church, buying them a desk, chairs, all of that — and they feel so sorry because they do not want to go. I said, “Then go there.” “What will I do about worship?” “Go to the place where you receive the most grace and worship there.” Our churches must not do this kind of thing. Is the church some kind of fraud organization? You must not do things like this — dragging people in by doing strange things, or otherwise just abandoning them.

Still, as I see it, the place that best understands the message is Immanuel Busan Church. Please understand it. You need to do this. “What is it that God wants for the many nations who are already here?” What does this mean? You must raise the Remnant according to what God wants for them, not according to your own will. That is right, isn’t it? This is fundamental. It is the basic principle of education. If you raise these young people to Pastor Ryu Kwang-su’s standard, you are raising them to a 1950s standard, I tell you. You must raise them to the standard of saving the era that God desires.

That is why I am not worried about gaming. Go ahead and game — you cannot not do it. You are not a grandfather, so why would you not? Do it, but do it properly. Study properly and pray at the same time. That is right, isn’t it? If you just tell them unconditionally “don’t do it,” what are the young people supposed to do? They must. Then they will figure it out themselves. If you say don’t do it, they will do it in hiding. And when they do it in hiding, they receive grace. They lock the door and keep going. You must not try to raise children to your own standard. Raise them to God’s standard. It is a pity. If this (Main point 3) is done at Immanuel, it will be truly what God desires. Not what I want — what God wants.

A child came and kept touching the piano organ, and everyone scolded him — but there was someone who took note of him. That is right, isn’t it? They taught the child. That child grew up to be Handel, who changed the world of music. You must not look at children according to your own mood.

Right now, people from 237 nations are going to pour in. Into Korea. You need to keep your eyes wide open. You absolutely must. This (the text) is all there is. Israel got into their own mood and missed all of this (Main point 3). They built up their strength and missed it all. They pursued the kibbutz movement and missed it. That is right, isn’t it? They pursued the chosen people movement and missed it. All of that was wrong. They pursued the talent movement and missed it. That does not mean talent is bad. Talent needs the gospel too. That is right, isn’t it? You must absolutely remember the dedication worship. When you correctly understand the covenant, God’s work is bound to come.

1. RT, TCK

The very first thing you need to do right now is this: “For our Remnant and TCKs, what kind of missions must we do for God to be pleased?” The university sermon, the university retreat message — you must keep this in mind. This is not my message or story. What is the message God gave from Mt. Olive? He explained the power that is in heaven. That is right, isn’t it? Every Remnant has a heavenly genius that came down from heaven. Heavenly Talent, Heavenly Power, Heavenly Mission — you must hold on to all three. You understand, right? Even if you are not good at all your studies, there is no need to worry. What God has sent down from above is separate. The Remnant all need to refer to this university message.

2. Many nations (Top priority)

Second, there are many nations here. The TCKs are also from many nations, but they came from other countries. What do these people need to understand within the gospel before they go? This will mainly come out in the university retreat message. They must become the top priority. Remnant must become the top priority — you must not compete. That is old talk. The seven Remnant were the top priority.

People don’t really know it right now, but at our upper room, the pastors who have come to understand and are doing evangelism — what they are doing. It is not at the level of competition — it is top priority. Anyone cannot just copy it. If someone who has not grasped the gospel tries it, it is too hard and they cannot do it. If someone who has not grasped the gospel tries the movement that is in Scripture — the upper room movement — and tries it, they find it too dull to do. It is dull, too dull. If someone who has not grasped the gospel tries doing exactly what the early church did, they find it too uninteresting to continue. They keep wanting to do something else. But a person who truly has the gospel — life springs up in them. True life is at once simple and powerful.

Remnant — top priority.

3. Elite (Spiritual problems)

There is no need for you to become elite — you already are. Truly elite people have many spiritual problems. You must go to save them. In order to do that, you must become elite. Because you are trying to save people who are good at studying, you need to study reasonably well. That is all there is to it. If you yourself are very poor at studying and you try to help someone who is good at studying in spiritual matters, they will not want to receive your help — so you need to help them.
