Isaac Who Received and Enjoyed Blessings
(Genesis 26:12-33)

Summary

Some people find it hard to pray. But when you struggle trying to pray though it isn’t coming easily, that is when the greatest spiritual healing takes place. Studying is also good, but when you’re absorbed in trying hard to remember something forgotten, that is when the brain develops and comes alive most. Simply asking what God’s will is, is itself a blessing. The very fact that you have received the gospel means you have already left this darkness. You are called the light of the world. Among the figures of Scripture, the person who received and enjoyed the greatest blessing most smoothly was Isaac. Isaac had three things engraved in him.

Three Engravings
Prayer engraving, gospel engraving, answer experience
▷ Isaac’s parents were childless for a long time before he was born, obtaining him through prayer at the age of 100. They kept telling him, “This is how you were born.” This is the prayer engraving. Second, at the very moment Isaac was about to die on Mount Moriah, God prepared a ram in Isaac’s place. However much a human being struggles, they cannot escape Satan’s fate — but the ram that made escape possible, the true priest who blocked disaster, the true prophet through whom we meet God — the gospel — became completely engraved. Also, he grew up witnessing everything that happened to his father Abraham, especially the experience of answered prayer of Abraham becoming wealthy. In Abraham’s time, the person who owned many wells was the wealthy one.

▣ Introduction
1. No darkness – there is much darkness around us, so it must be torn down.
2. He gives us the power of the throne.
3. Delivering it.
This is the blessing we have received.

▣ Main
1. Genesis – Scripture alone explains what a human being actually is.
1) Genesis 1:27 – only humans were created in God’s image.
2) Genesis 3:4-5 – Satan took the form of a serpent and came to tempt Eve. “Don’t believe God, you are the best. You must become God.” This is the New Age movement.
3) Genesis 6:4-5 – the Nephilim. Even now, three groups practice spirit-possession movements.
4) Genesis 11:1-8 – wars continue today because people are still building towers of Babel.
5) Genesis 12:1-3, 13:18 – this is when God called Abraham

(page 2)

and said, “Leave your homeland, your relatives, your father’s house. Go to the land I will show you.” But Abraham wandered for a time before one day beginning to build an altar.

2. Prayer
1) Wisdom (John 14:16) – wisdom comes that the world cannot teach. Jesus said, “The Helper, the Holy Spirit, who will be with you forever, will make you understand.”
2) Plan – when you pray, God’s clear plan becomes visible.
3) Testimony – others come to know that God is with you.
4) Witness – you become a witness for evangelism and missions.

3. Received Blessings
1) 100 years – he farmed and received a hundredfold return in a hundred-year answer. That’s what enables missions.
2) Promise – all the promises given to Abraham were fulfilled.
3) Source – Isaac was made to discover the source of the spring.
Abimelech – an unbeliever who witnessed this and was moved.

▣ Conclusion
Daily – enjoy this blessing every day starting now. In the morning, recover all the strength to conquer the universe; during the day, confirm it; at night, prepare for world evangelization that produces 300%.
Sunday – think of nothing else and focus entirely on prayer. Pray focused on your health, and for those with problems, focus in prayer until answers emerge.
Special – if something special happens, focus specially exactly as Scripture teaches.

Some people find it hard to pray, there are such people. It’s fine — there are times when you struggle trying hard to pray because it isn’t coming easily. That is when the greatest spiritual healing takes place. Also, studying well is good, but when you’re really absorbed trying to remember something you’ve forgotten, that’s when your brain develops most. Also, when we have a good experience and think “ah, that’s nice,” that’s also a kind of recovery, but recovery also happens when I try hard to remember something I can’t recall. And some people ask, “What is God’s will?” You don’t need to know. You don’t need to know His will. The very act of asking that question is a blessing. Right? A person sunk in darkness doesn’t even ask such questions. They think, “Someone else did wrong,” or “Why is this happening when I’ve done nothing wrong, and it’s my spouse’s fault” — that kind of thing.

Now, the very fact that you have received the gospel means you have already left this darkness. To put it more precisely, you are the light of the world, it was said. Don’t waver — just knowing you exist as light is enough. Right? Just that opens the door. But instead, we keep thinking, “What am I failing to do, what should I be doing,” over and over like that.

Among the figures in Scripture, there is one who received the greatest answer most smoothly. Others had very complicated processes, but there is a person whose process wasn’t complicated and who cleanly received such a great answer.

“Isaac, Who Received and Enjoyed the Blessing”

This is Isaac, who received and enjoyed this blessing. Isaac received such a blessing. Why was that?

[Three Engravings]

These three things were engraved in him. To have Isaac, they had been childless for a long time and finally had him through prayer. They obtained him at 100 years old, at 100. Right? When Abraham was about 75, God said he would have a son, but he had no son. But after continuing to wait, the child born was Isaac, obtained at 100. This fact must have been told to him countless times. “You were born at 100 years old.” Isn’t there a story like this we heard from our mothers when we were little? That matters. “You know, this is how I gave birth to you” — like that.

[Prayer engraving, gospel engraving, answer engraving]

This is the prayer engraving. And what’s more important is that prayer is something everyone can do, and every religion does. What is the second, more important thing? One day, Isaac was about to die on Mount Moriah. But at the very moment he was about to die, God prepared a ram in Isaac’s place. He came back to life from death. Would this be engraved or not? This is important. The gospel was completely engraved. A human being cannot make it, no matter how hard they struggle. A human being cannot escape Satan’s fate, no matter how hard they struggle. The ram that made escape possible. The more a nation develops, the greater the disaster grows. The true priest who blocked the disaster. We have no ability to meet God on our own. So, the true prophet, the way to meet God, was engraved firmly in him.

Now, why must we die? Original sin. We cannot know. We cannot know why humans ended up this way. That is original sin. The sin of not knowing God. The sin of leaving God. That is original sin. If that were all, it would be fine, but we’ve been captured by Satan. We don’t know it. We keep bowing down before this without realizing it, and why does an answer come? That is demonic activity. A shaman goes to the seashore and beats on something and power appears. That is demonic activity.

So Isaac had the gospel completely engraved in him. However low your IQ, “I died and came back to life” — that you remember. Right? Also, Isaac watched everything that happened to his father Abraham. He witnessed the answers. Especially seeing Abraham become wealthy. He grew up watching that. In our country it’s different, but in that region — which today is the Middle East — right? Back then, who was the wealthiest? Whoever had many wells. If you had many wells, the whole village would gather around that water source to survive. So having many wells made you wealthy. What was Abraham’s distinguishing feature? He dug many wells. So we can say Abraham did business well. Isaac grew up watching all of that.

▣ Introduction

So why does God do this? Giving these kinds of blessings. We don’t really understand why we receive answers, or even why we come to church.

1. No darkness

There is much darkness around us, so it must be torn down.

2. The power of the throne

It’s not just at that level — it’s the opposite. He gives us the power of the throne. Tearing down darkness.

3. Delivering

And now what? Delivering this fact. This is the blessing we have received.

▣ Main

Now, this is only found in Scripture.

1. Genesis

It’s remarkable. What is a human being anyway? Only Scripture explains this. What’s the difference from a dog? What is a human being?

1) Genesis 1:27

Genesis 1:27. Only humans were created in God’s image. That’s what makes us human. Dogs, cattle don’t have that. Only humans were given God’s image.

2) Genesis 3:4-5

But why did the problem come? Genesis 3:4-5. It happened in the Garden of Eden. This is a story found only in Scripture. But it’s happening in reality right now, isn’t it? Satan took the form of a serpent and tempted Eve. What did he say? “Don’t believe God. You are the best. You must become God.” He said this. Isn’t it the same? Exactly the same. Those three groups, the New Age movement. “You will become king.” The exact same words. What’s the phrase — “you will become a Buddha.” Same thing — humans crushed by Satan being told they will become gods. This continues to this day.

If you have somewhat opened spiritual eyes, you know the books coming out these days? 90% of them are New Age books. Even churches in America have New Age culture penetrating them. A Remnant living in America wanted to go to seminary for evangelism training, so I said, “Come to Korea and do RTS.” “For a higher degree you might stay in America, but if you study there, you won’t be able to evangelize.” That’s what I said. You must see this (Genesis 3:4-5).

3) Genesis 6:4-5

I thought living like that was fine, but one day I realized I had been captured by Satan. Genesis 6:4-5. This is called the Nephilim. This story is found only in Scripture. Even now, three groups practice spirit-possession movements. Right? What are these shamanic beliefs disturbing Korea right now? They’re practicing spirit-possession. Exactly the same. Scripture reveals this.

4) Genesis 11:1-8

Why then, despite human effort, do wars keep breaking out and problems keep coming? Because they build towers of Babel. It’s the same today. Wars never end now. They’re building towers of Babel against each other.

5) 12:1-3, 13:18

This is when God called Abraham. So the first thing God said, looking at Abraham, was “Leave your homeland, your relatives, your father’s house. Go to the land I will show you.” He made this promise. At first, Abraham wandered aimlessly. But one day he realized, and began building an altar. This is an important story found only in Scripture.

2. Prayer

When you know this blessing and begin to pray, four things come.

1) Wisdom (John 14:16)

Wisdom comes that the world cannot give. In John 14:16, Jesus said the Helper, the Holy Spirit, who is with you forever, will make you understand.

2) Plan

What do you see next? God’s clear plan becomes visible. While praying.

3) Testimony

And what else? Now others come to know that God is with you. Testimony comes.

4) Witness

Then you become a witness for evangelism and missions. You must remember this.

3. Received Blessings

Now let’s look at what blessing Isaac received. You don’t need to receive it again, but it’s worth referencing what he received.

1) 100 years

He farmed and a 100-year answer came. That’s what enables missions.

2) Promise

Also, all the promises given to Abraham were fulfilled.

3) Source

Before, Abraham was blessed with many springs and wells, but God made Isaac discover the source of the spring.

[Abimelech]

At this time, Abimelech, an unbeliever, witnessed this and was moved. This is the kind of answer you will receive. An unbeliever seeing this and thinking, “Ah, I too must become a child of God.” Abimelech witnessed this and received that kind of blessing.

▣ Conclusion

[Daily]

So, enjoy this blessing every day starting now. Understand? Daily. Morning is the time to recover all the strength to conquer the universe. Daytime is the time to confirm it. Night is the time to prepare for world evangelization producing 300%. Do this daily.

[Sunday]

Especially on Sundays — today being Sunday — think of nothing else and focus entirely on prayer. Those who need health should pray focused on health, and those with problems should focus in prayer until the answer comes. On Sunday. That’s why it’s called Sunday. Try it. Experience it. Sunday.

[Special]

As we go along, special things happen to us sometimes. Special days come too. Right? Suddenly getting sick — there are times like this too. In such times, focus specially exactly as Scripture teaches. Try it. Don’t just pass over it — you must receive this answer.

Holding onto this covenant, how much should we pray all day today? Pray so that your strength is restored, both spiritually and physically. Truly. I will pray now.

Prayer

May today be a day filled with the abundant grace of the Holy Spirit. May it be a day of receiving new spiritual strength. May it be a day of healing. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Isaac Who Received Delayed Answers

2026.09.06 District Message Week 36
Isaac Who Received Delayed Answers (Genesis 25:19-26)

Summary

Within me: The Bartizan of the Throne
On the Path: The Journey of the Throne
In the Future: The Guidepost of the Throne

We cannot answer accurately how long we will live, whether we will get sick, or whether our business will succeed. But those who triumphed in faith had one thing: the bartizan of the throne within me, which no one can give and no one can take away, the journey of the throne on my path, and in the future, God leaves a guidepost at an exact timetable He sees. But Isaac’s answer came a little late. Yet he received the answer that enjoys the most. Even when the answer is late, figures who were not deceived emerged. Joseph, who spent 13 long years in prison; Moses, who became 80; Samuel, who started the Mizpah movement; David, who fled for decades. Also, Rome became evangelized only after 250 years.

▣ Introduction

1. The word is being fulfilled. About 7,000 promises have all been fulfilled. Only one has not yet been fulfilled.
2. Covenant prayer answers are happening.
3. The witness of the gospel has never ceased.

▣ Main

1. The answer comes in three ways.
1) Immediate answer
2) No answer – This comes as no answer because we don’t need to receive it.
3) An answer that must be waited for – This is the most common.

2. Reasons
1) He wants us to know the secret of the gospel.
2) He wants us to know the power of prayer. The sicker a person is, the more they must gain the real strength of faith; the older one gets, the more spiritual strength must be gained.
3) He is establishing a great plan.

3. The invisible answer
1) Absolute plan – Absolute covenant – Absolute mission
God’s absolute plan becomes visible. If we don’t see it, as we wait and pray, it is fulfilled, and the absolute covenant comes out, and the absolute mission comes out.
2) No darkness, the power of the throne, heavenly hosts – At this time, in ways we don’t know, darkness collapses, and because it is the power of the throne, the heavenly hosts are mobilized.
3) Special bartizan – At this time, the wrong bartizan we held is changed into a bartizan that knows God, and a special bartizan is established.

▣ Conclusion_ 7 Point

That’s when the 7 points are found. People get confused when the answer comes. When Rome declared Christianity the state religion, wealth piled up in the church and the priests went crazy. At this time, God is holding the 7 points that save the future for us. We must always ask. Do not be deceived when I become weak. That is the time you become the strongest. God’s real prayer answers happen so often through weak, elderly people. The 7 Remnants were all in difficulty, but they were not deceived. The devil by nature deceives. In John 8:44, the devil is the one who deceives, the liar, the father of lies. That’s why all fortune-tellers are deceived.

Transcript

We don’t know how long we will live. Also, I don’t know whether I will get sick or not. Also, now, whether my business will go well or not, I cannot give an exact answer to that either. But those who triumphed in faith had one thing.

[The Bartizan of the Throne Within Me]

I had within me the bartizan of the throne, which no one can give and no one can take away. Here, what we must be careful about is that we don’t die right away just because we hold some great grudge. But one day, a problem will inevitably come because of it. So when you’re going through faith life and get wounded like this, you must resolve it completely. You’ll almost get caught up in it. Conversely, praying doesn’t bring an immediate answer either. But it always comes. So you must build the bartizan of the throne within you.

[The Journey of the Throne on My Path]

And you go on the journey of the throne on your path. This is usually a word that ordinary people in the world absolutely cannot understand.

Title/Scripture: Isaac, Whose Answer Was Delayed (Genesis 25:19-26)

[The Guidepost of the Throne in the Future]

Then, without fail, the answer of world evangelization comes on your path. When? In your future.

So because we’re human, even Moses thought, “What age am I now?” But God’s word had not yet been fulfilled. He thought he had no strength now, and that’s natural to think. But one day, an event happened. From our perspective, it happened on some particular day. But to God who sees, it is an exact timetable. Right? Also we think, “Oh, I made a mistake, and because of that someone died.” But that’s not right. We came at God’s timetable, and we leave at God’s timetable. It’s certain. We must enjoy this in the meantime.

Ah, people, when they lose money, tend to have a hard time judging things properly. What you must be most careful about is that as people age, they sometimes become weak or sick. Also, even when young, when illness comes, people become discouraged in themselves. You must be most careful about this. There’s no need to. Ahn Yi-suk gave true thanks to God upon learning she had cancer. And then the cancer was healed. She didn’t become overly delighted about that either. People of faith are like this. We are here. The bartizan of the throne. We go on that journey. We leave this guidepost.

“Isaac, Whose Answer Was Delayed”

But sometimes the answer comes a bit late. And Isaac’s answer was a bit late. But he received the answer that enjoys the most.

People are all similar, right — when we have no answer at all, nothing visible, we think this way. That’s how you get deceived. Figures who were not deceived emerged. Joseph was in prison for 13 long years. Not a short time, right? Within that, Joseph was enjoying this (the bartizan of the throne, the journey of the throne, the guidepost of the throne). His brothers, when they saw him, said, “Joseph, look at him, he’s crazy.” “That kid is strange.” They themselves were the strange ones, but they called Joseph “strange.” All of you, try telling this to a group of unbelieving friends gathered together. They’ll say you’re crazy, right? But that person’s life was governed by this. How foolish, right?

Even Moses at 80 was like this — while hiding in Midian for 40 years after being driven out, that time was actually his best time. He wrote Genesis, which we absolutely cannot do without. We find every answer in Genesis. People don’t know. Why do spiritual problems come? It’s all recorded in Genesis. Even when we tell religious people not to worship idols, that worshipping idols brings spiritual problems, they don’t understand. The reason is explained in Scripture. It’s amazing. Some countries you visit — rooms, outside, everywhere is full of idols. The problem is these people don’t know how bad this is. It’s hard to name the country, but practically half of that nation’s people are mentally ill. And it’s going to get more serious ahead.

Those of you sitting here are somewhat better, but going forward, in the 2030-2080 era, isn’t it said that 90% of what people can do will disappear? That future is coming soon. So our elder deaconesses and older folks — don’t think you’re too old, you all must study these machines. You don’t need to become experts, but you must be able to function enough. Going forward, if you’re careless, you might reach a point where you can’t even order at a restaurant without knowing this. In this situation, we are still going to school and work. We really cannot afford to not know this power.

As you know, not one word of Samuel’s fell to the ground, they say, and after that, trouble came upon Israel. There’s no mention of Samuel’s presence during that time. Later, this Samuel starts the Mizpah movement. So the point I’m making is this — we keep getting deceived thinking that biblical prayer answers aren’t happening now. So today, in the first service, I was going to explain what the answer is, but before that, you must know that some things take a long time to arrive and are waited for. David spent decades fleeing. If you only look at that moment of fleeing, how would you feel? That’s the important part. Did he know and endure it? Or did he just endure without knowing? He was in that kind of situation.

More importantly, how much difficulty comes matters — if too much comes at once, people get confused. Right? Never get confused. 250 years — how long is that? People die without even seeing it. Turning Christianity into a strange group and persecuting it — that’s exactly what the devil does. Turning it into a strange group and persecuting it. That has to be a year or two, but this was 250 years. Ten Roman emperors persecuted the gospel over 250 years. It’s a situation where survival is impossible. That could happen. But the important thing is, even amid that persecution, there were people enjoying this (the bartizan of the throne, the journey of the throne, the guidepost of the throne). That’s astonishing. But when you look at the records of these people, they were all recorded as having been happy. Even amid that persecution. But one day, Europe was completely evangelized. Rome bowed before the gospel. Does that make sense — 250 years? Many people died without seeing it. We are easily prone to this kind of misconception. You must remember this.

▣ Introduction

1. Fulfillment of the word
What is clear is that the word is being fulfilled. About 7,000 promises have all been fulfilled. Only one has not yet been fulfilled.

2. Covenant prayer answer
Even now God is answering exact covenant-based prayer.

3. Witness of the gospel
And what’s important now is that the witness of the gospel has never once ceased. Even though it was blocked for 250 years, it never stopped. If so, we are within this.

▣ Main

There are a few things to remember.

1. Three ways
1) Immediate answer
There are three ways the answer comes. Some things God answers immediately when we pray.
2) No answer
Also, some things come as no answer because we don’t need to receive them. If your prayer wasn’t answered, it’s not because you lacked ability but because God isn’t giving what isn’t needed.
3) Answer that must be waited for
But there is an answer that comes after waiting a long time. This kind of answer exists too. But the third one is the most common. So what must we be careful about? When the answer comes after a long wait, how do we live out our faith in the meantime? So from the start, though given, what Jesus finally promised is this (the bartizan of the throne, the journey of the throne, the guidepost of the throne). Keep praying this and it becomes visible. This is important, right? If you keep praying this (the bartizan of the throne, the journey of the throne, the guidepost of the throne), you don’t need anything else. Keep praying this and it truly becomes visible. Then age and position don’t matter. If you are within this (the bartizan of the throne, the journey of the throne, the guidepost of the throne), one day it starts to become visible.

2. Reasons
Especially, the reasons become visible. What becomes visible?
1) Secret of the gospel
He wants believers to know the secret of the gospel instead of struggling while attending church.
2) Power of prayer
And He wants you to know the power of prayer throughout your life. The sicker a person is, the more they need the true strength of faith. The older you get, the more spiritual strength you must gain. Don’t listen to what people say. That’s how you get deceived. The older you get, the more strength you must gain.
3) Great plan
What else? God is establishing a great plan. He’s establishing a great plan. I mentioned this before — a smart Remnant came from abroad. He studied well. His faith was good too. Though a young child, his faith was solid. Whenever he met me, he’d say he was studying to become a doctor. He said he wanted to go where there were no doctors, to a remote area. So I told him plainly, “Don’t make that plan.” “You don’t know how greatly God will use you. You can go there later.” He seemed a bit hurt by that. “God may call you somewhere greater before you go there. Many people make their goals clear. But a truly prayerful person has no goal of their own.” Right? Someone who truly sees God’s plan doesn’t mean they don’t set their own plans — they can’t set them. This plan remains for you. God is not delaying the answer for these things; He’s making Isaac realize this.

3. The invisible answer
First, the invisible answer comes first, you know?
1) Absolute plan – Absolute covenant – Absolute mission
What’s the first? God’s absolute plan becomes visible. It was that way for Hannah too. You have no need to rush. While enjoying and praying, this becomes visible. If it’s not visible, just wait while praying. Then the absolute covenant that will be fulfilled comes out. All 66 books are absolute covenants, but the absolute covenant that will be fulfilled comes out, they say. So then the absolute mission — not optional, but absolute — comes out. Now, you all are due to receive that kind of answer. If you attend church just for fun, you’ll receive a fun kind of answer. No — some people attend faith the way they’d have “some” religion just to have one. That kind of person won’t receive the answer. This remains. It’s not delayed. This is about trying to know it.
2) No darkness, power of the throne, heavenly hosts
At this time David confessed this. Things you don’t know are happening. Darkness begins to collapse. This is invisible. And what else? Because it’s the power of the throne, this manifests, and the heavenly hosts, which Scripture describes the most, are mobilized invisibly.
3) Special bartizan
At this time, this is invisible to us. The bartizan changes. Right? Up until now, we easily hold onto a wrong bartizan. What people who study well should think about is that their studies weren’t wrong, but they kept learning things apart from God. Now we’re different. We change it into a bartizan that knows God. What is the last ministry for our elders? Establishing a special bartizan. You don’t have to do anything. Just establish this and it’s done. Amazing things happen. In fact, my mother did nothing at all. Just this one thing — prayer. But that answer, words cannot describe it. Now, real, visible answers begin to come. That’s when people get confused. Don’t get confused.

▣ Conclusion_ 7 Point

What do we do then? We find the 7 points. Try receiving many answers. It gets confusing. When Rome declared Christianity the state religion, what happened? Wealth just started piling up within the church. That’s when the priests went crazy. Right? In the old days, people were called heretics and beaten to death, but now this became overwhelmingly powerful. It became enormous. So, in our terms, when a pastor or pope appears, there’s an uproar. Everyone loses their minds over it. That’s not it. We are holding the 7 points that save the future for you all.

You must remember this. You must always ask. Don’t be deceived. There are times I become weak. Don’t be deceived. That is the time you become the strongest, right? We keep getting deceived. “Oh, I’m too old now, I have no strength.” That’s deception. God’s real prayer answers happen so often through weak, elderly people. Right? We keep getting deceived. Remnants get deceived saying “my environment is like this, my house is like that.” The 7 Remnants were all in difficulty. They were not deceived. Conclusion: the devil by nature is the deceiver. John 8:44. The devil, the deceiver. The liar, it said. The father of lies, it said. That’s why all fortune-tellers over there are all deceived.

May you all experience healing of even unknown illnesses as you pray all day today, in the name of Jesus Christ. I will pray.

Prayer

God, thank you. May today be a day we gain spiritual strength. May it be a day we grasp Your word. Open our spiritual eyes so we are not deceived. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Death of Abraham

2026.08.30 District Message Week 35
The Death of Abraham (Genesis 25:1-11)

Summary

Everyone faces this once — the death of Abraham. In truth, we hardly know where our life came from or where it is going. We hardly know when we were born or when we will die. And we do not decide for ourselves which country we are born into or which country we die in. But there are a few things that are certain.

■ Introduction
1. Original sin — salvation — because we are born carrying original sin, we must be saved.
2. Power of the throne — those who are saved must recover the power of the throne. The way to recover the power of the throne lies within the throne’s bartizan, journey, and guidepost.
3. A monument comes into being.

■ Main
1. Sojourner (eternal life) — Abraham’s death points to the fact that human life is that of a sojourner. The word “sojourner” is not an ending. A sojourner must go to his hometown, his own home. Our life is neither an ending nor reincarnation. Our soul exists on unchanged, staying briefly within the body before departing one day. It exists forever. This is why he gives us to obtain eternal life.
1) Destruction — an unbeliever must be saved because that state of destruction is eternal.
2) Life is eternal. It looks as though we live long on this earth, but we live only for a brief while. The mayfly’s whole life, having gone through everything, amounts to 24 hours.
2. During life — what we do during this time becomes our blessing. Eternal life goes to an eternal place, but what matters is the brief time spent in the body before going.
1) Salvation — you are only saved while your soul is within your body.
2) Evangelism — you can only evangelize while your soul is within your body.
3) Reward — everything you do while alive becomes your reward.
3. What is left behind
1) Personal salvation and blessing.
2) It is passed on to your descendants. Even without directly teaching your children, spiritual things are passed on.
3) Evangelism — the blessing we have received is the evangelism that saves others.
4) Missions — missions that save other nations.

■ Conclusion
1. Absolute sovereignty — when are we born and when do we go? We do not know. It is God’s absolute sovereignty.
2. Absolute plan — God without fail holds a plan for world evangelization.
3. Absolute bartizan — journey — guidepost — this is what we search for and follow.

▷ On the Lord’s Day, we must pray that we can see what word we truly need, what prayer we must offer, what answer we must receive, and how our work can be made 300% to save others. What matters even more is that when we worship and pray today, the Heavenly Power, Thronely, and Eternally that break the one who holds authority in the air are formed. Take hold of this and go on to 24, 25, and eternity.

“The Death of Abraham”

Everyone faces this once — the death of Abraham. In truth, we hardly know where our life came from or where it is going. We hardly know when we were born or when we will die. And whether I was born in this country or that country, that is not something I decided for myself. Most of us here are Korean, but it isn’t that you chose to be Korean and were born that way. You simply woke up and found yourself Korean.

■ Introduction
But there are a few things that are certain for us.

1. Original sin — salvation
Because we are born carrying original sin, we must be saved.

2. Power of the throne
Those who are saved must recover the power of the throne. The way to recover the power of the throne is not asking for something specific. It lies within the throne’s bartizan, journey, and guidepost.

3. Monument
This surely comes about. A monument does appear.

■ Main
1. Sojourner (eternal life)
First. Abraham’s death teaches that human life is that of a sojourner. The word “sojourner” is not an ending. Right? A sojourner must go to his hometown. Right? His hometown, his own home. Our life is not an ending. Many people think it is an ending. Unbelievers think it’s the end. That is a mistaken idea. Some religions speak of reincarnation. That is a misunderstanding too. Satan teaches falsely like this, and that’s why people get confused. It is neither an ending nor reincarnation. Buddhism-like ideas about this are truly a frightening thing — the notion that you were reincarnated as something, or that you had a previous life — that is nonsense. Your soul continues to exist and goes on. It does not stay in the body forever, but departs one day. It exists eternally. That is why He gives us eternal life. You must remember this.

In Genesis chapter 41, verse 9, Jacob confessed that his life had been a sojourner’s journey. You can use this in the study. Isaiah 40:6-8 says it this way: grass withers, flowers fade. It says, “But the word of the Lord stands forever.” Grass withering and flowers fading refers to human life. Our lives will surely wither and fade too. But the word stands forever. In Genesis chapter 4, verses 16 and 18, we see that when Cain and his descendants departed from the word of God, they fell into torment from that point on. The people of the covenant no longer simply walk the path of a sojourner but walk it together with God. That is what all this is saying. So what we must remember above all is this.

1) Destruction
Why must an unbeliever be saved? Because that state of destruction is eternal.

2) Life
Life — that is eternal too.

So if it were like unbelievers say — if it simply ended when you die — that would be fine, but it does not end. That is why you and I, though we appear to live long on this earth, only live briefly and then go. Take the mayflies of summer, for instance. To them, that is their whole lifespan — 24 hours. To us it seems like just a day. But for them, that is a whole lifetime of every kind of hardship. Ask them — they’ve been through everything within those 24 hours.

2. During life
What matters is what? Abraham’s life was being told, but what you do while you are alive becomes your blessing. Now, eternal life goes to an eternal place, but before that, what happens during the brief time in the body is important. Refer to the scripture verses.

1) Salvation
You are only saved while your soul is within your body. This is very important. It means that only while your parents are alive can they be saved — meaning, only while the soul is within the body can salvation happen. Once it leaves, it is over. As for people who say they saw something after they died — all of that is nonsense. Do not listen to that kind of talk — look to the word of God instead.

2) Evangelism
You can only evangelize while your soul is within your body. Once it leaves, you cannot go anymore.

3) Reward
Everything you do while you are alive becomes your reward.

3. What is left behind
So you have a guidepost to leave behind. What is that guidepost?

1) Personal
Personal salvation and blessing. So there is nothing else we need to do.

2) Descendants
This blessing is passed on to your descendants. Even without you directly teaching your children, spiritual things are passed down.

3) Evangelism
And the blessing you received is what saves other people — evangelism.

4) Missions
Missions that save other nations.

When it comes to evangelism, we always think of it only as going out to preach the gospel, but think of it the other way around. Every single day, disaster is coming upon the whole family. They cannot even speak of it. If you go there and preach the gospel that saves a soul just once, that is evangelism. Put in words, if you go into those foreign countries, there are problems there that words cannot even describe. I was shocked. Killing a person is an everyday matter there. So many countries are full of this. Shining light into that is what missions is. If our lives can be that, there is no greater blessing than that. In the end, Abraham realized this and left it behind.

■ Conclusion
1. Absolute sovereignty
This is the conclusion. When you are born and when you go — you do not know. See this as God’s absolute sovereignty. You must believe it.

2. Absolute plan
And God without fail holds a plan for world evangelization. Absolute plan.

3. Absolute bartizan — journey — guidepost
Here, God gives you an absolute bartizan, journey, and guidepost. Go searching for and following this.

On the Lord’s Day, you must pray on the Lord’s Day so that you can see what word you truly need. On the Lord’s Day you must confirm what prayer you must offer and what answer you will receive. There is no distinction of high or low among our various work. You must pray how to make your work 300% and save others — that is what you pray on the Lord’s Day. What matters even more is knowing what happens all day long when you worship and pray today. The Heavenly Power that breaks the one who holds authority in the air arises today. Then, because your vessel fills up, next comes the throne — Thronely. Today, as you pray, what comes out? Eternally. Forever. It is being formed. Take hold of this and go on to 24, 25, and eternity.

The Lord’s Day is the greatest day. Today, do not listen to people’s talk — pray earnestly. Do not speak ill of others on the Lord’s Day. Hold onto God’s word and pray earnestly. So that the five paths clearly come into view. As this accumulates, the door of world evangelization will open for you. I bless that today may become a day of covenant, all day long, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer

We thank You, God. May today be a day, all day long, in which the throne’s bartizan, journey, and guidepost are fulfilled. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Servant of Faith Who Followed God’s Guidance

2026.08.23 District Message Week 34
The Servant of Faith Who Followed God’s Guidance (Genesis 24:1-67)

Summary
▣ Introduction: Prayer
It is truly hard for the Remnant to pray. But once you know why, it becomes easier.

1. Genesis 3, 6, 11 (original sin) (a different spirit) — We are born already caught up in Genesis chapters 3, 6, and 11. We call this original sin. It means a different spirit is currently at work. It is not possible to keep every law, but even keeping it fully does not resolve original sin. The root problem is that we have left God — that is why it cannot be resolved. What is remarkable and frightening now is a spiritual current that does not know about original sin. It is a state of being completely captured by Satan, self-centered — that is what original sin is.
2. Engraving, wounds (roots, constitution) — things unrelated to God that have been engraved into us without our knowing, wounds engraved even more, taking root over and over until they become one’s constitution. That is why we cannot pray.
3. Spiritual problems — there are unspeakable spiritual problems in one’s family and household that cannot be resolved.
▷ Nothing else can resolve this. So we use only the word gospel; original sin is resolved only through the word Christ. We tend to trust human words more. But here Abraham breaks completely free of that, and now receives God’s guidance. Once we receive this guidance, God’s bartizan forms, and we go on a journey, and set up guideposts.

▣ Main
1. What Faith: 1) Ability — Our ability has its limits. We trust God’s ability. 2) Way — We also believe in Christ, who is the way to meet God. This was all prophesied in Isaiah 53. 3) Prayer time is not just “important” — it is the time that resolves everything. 4) Matthew 6:33 (background) — Jesus promised this. “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Our background is God’s kingdom, the throne — that is why when we pray, we can receive everything. 5) 1 John 5:13 (the name) — “Praying in the name of God, and asking according to God’s will, whatever it is, will be answered,” it says. 6) Daniel 3:8-23 — the decision of the three young men. When you make a decision of faith at this moment today, darkness is broken. ▷ We must operate within God’s ability — if we keep doing only worldly things, what is spiritual collapses. This small decision of faith set off events that changed the world.

2. Confirmation: 1) Plan — whenever it is God’s plan, an answer is bound to come. 2) Will — what is God’s will? That is what we pray about. 3) Way — at that time, God has already prepared a way for us.

3. Principles of Life: 1) Beginning (Camp 1) — when we begin, we confirm through prayer whether God’s work fits or not. We call this Camp 1 in our terminology. 2) Progress — the Nephilim (Camp 2) — wherever we go, the Holy Spirit is bound to work. The Nephilim are bound to be broken. That is the standard. 3) Conclusion (Camp 3) — finally reproduction, re-creation, and a new challenge arise. That is our conclusion.

▣ Conclusion: My Prayer
What is our Remnant’s prayer? This is what must be asked. How should Remnant members pray? How should our church leaders pray? What is a minister’s prayer like? How should the sick pray? It is written in Scripture. Do not learn from people; ask God and find it. We must have the secret of receiving prayer answers directly from God.

▣ Introduction: [Prayer]
Especially our Remnant need to be helped — praying is truly difficult for them. But knowing the reason makes it easier.

1. Genesis 3, 6, 11 (original sin)
We are born already caught up in Genesis chapters 3, 6, and 11. This is called original sin. Very few religions know about this original sin. They only know things like “don’t do bad things, do good deeds” — they don’t know what original sin really is. Original sin is having left God. So this is truly a frightening thing. (A different spirit) A different spirit is currently at work.

So the distinctive feature is that Jewish people don’t know what original sin is. So it comes out like, “if you just keep all the law, you’re fine.” It’s not possible to keep all the law, but even keeping it fully does not resolve original sin. The root problem is that we have left God — that’s why it cannot be resolved. What is remarkably terrifying right now is that spiritual current. Even the Catholic Church doesn’t know what original sin is. What does the Catholic Church teach? That a baby who died right after being born — what sin could it have? It sounds nice to hear, but that’s how they explain it. Whether one is born one day old or lives 100 years, it’s the same kind of life. That’s how you can tell they don’t know what original sin is. It is a state of being completely self-centered, captured by Satan — that is original sin.

2. Engraving, Wounds (Roots, Constitution)
Also, things unrelated to God get engraved into us more than we know. This too is frightening. Some people have wounds engraved like this. This keeps taking root. Little by little it takes root until it becomes one’s constitution. That’s why one cannot pray. So our Remnant — you absolutely need to be made able to pray; if you can do that, you win.

3. Spiritual Problems
On top of that, there are things that can’t be spoken about in one’s family, things that can’t be spoken about in one’s own household, spiritual problems belonging to oneself — these cannot be resolved. And so one becomes unable to pray.

Only the Gospel
Nothing else can eliminate this. That’s why we use the word “gospel” alone.

Christ
This terrifying, present original sin is resolved only through the word “Christ.” So you should now be completely strengthened, because it is finished.

“Faith – Guidance”
It is faith. We trust human words more. We trust human words more than the word of God. Some people even trust the words of the demon-possessed and stake their lives on it. That is now an extremely dangerous thing. But what you must know is — “but that demon-possessed person guesses things really well, doesn’t he?” He guesses well. But John 8:44 itself is a lie. Satan’s very existence is a lie, and that itself is a lie. So you must now completely break free of that in order to receive an answer. Right? Abraham completely broke free. And so now he receives God’s guidance.

Bartizan, Journey, Guidepost
Once we receive this guidance, we come to have God’s bartizan, and go on a journey, and set up guideposts.

Now, there is a certain amount that people should moderate. But this is something you cannot moderate. We should moderate most things, right? But this cannot be moderated. It is completely finished. That’s why Paul — to what extent did he take this? He was shocked. To what degree was Paul shocked after this (introduction) was resolved? He felt so ashamed and sorry — that he had been boasting of knowledge that was worthless up until then. He felt it was shameful and harmful. To what degree did he even go? He considered it garbage. God used Paul. You too must resolve your problem and go to that place as a witness who saves others.

▣ Main
1. What Faith
So what kind of faith is it? That is what I want to talk about this time.

1) Ability
Our ability has its limits. We trust God’s ability.

2) Way
We also believe in Christ, who is the way to meet God. This was all prophesied in Isaiah 53.

3) Prayer Time
The time we pray is not just “important” — it is the time that resolves everything. You must believe this. Today, do not remain within this (introduction) — completely finish with it. This is complete unbelief, so throw it away.

4) Matthew 6:33 (Background)
And there is something important God gives us — Matthew 6:33, Jesus promised. “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” He even explained our background. Our background is God’s kingdom, the throne — that’s why when we pray, we can receive everything. You must believe this.

5) 1 John 5:13 (The Name)
And in 1 John 5:14 also, it says that if we pray in that name, whatever we ask will be answered. Praying in the name of God, asking according to God’s will — whatever it is — will be answered.

6) Daniel 3:8-23
Especially Daniel chapter 2, verses 8 through 23 — this is, as you know, the decision of the three young men. When you make a decision of faith at this moment today, darkness is broken. Do not listen to what other people say.

Now there are many people out there working in the world. You need to do that within God’s ability — if you keep doing only worldly things, what is inside you collapses. What is spiritual collapses. Take police officers, for example. Police officers always have to look at people with suspicion, right? A police officer looking at someone and feeling, “this person seems really nice” — that shouldn’t happen, right? They have to live their whole life that way. Without spiritual strength, that’s no good. And journalists too. I think journalists must have the hardest time — that’s how they live every day. Their spiritual state ends up in tremendous collapse. And their own personal spiritual problems come, but they’re too embarrassed to speak about it.

When you make a decision of faith, darkness collapses. It’s easy to be deceived. Civil servants have to read the room, don’t they? This (Daniel 3:8-23) small decision of faith set off events that changed the world. We really don’t understand faith very well.

2. Confirmation
And what else? Confirming. This is not doubt — it is confirming.

1) Plan
Whenever we ask, “What is God’s plan?” — you are bound to receive an answer.

2) Will
Also, “What is God’s will?” — that’s what we pray about. It’s a similar phrase, but “God’s plan” refers to a bigger future picture, while “God’s will” refers to finding something small in the present moment.

3) Way
And at that time, God has already prepared a way for us. This is what we confirm.

No matter what difficulty there is, you must grasp the covenant and confirm it. Then God’s distant plan and the will and way happening right now will be visible.

3. Principles of Life
So we can carry three principles of life. The reason for writing this anew is that today’s lesson has too many difficult words.

1) Beginning (Camp 1)
Whenever we begin, we confirm through prayer whether God’s work fits or not. We now call this Camp 1 in our terminology. Your life must begin exactly this way. “I have nothing right now” — that’s fine.

I told this story yesterday too. When I was attending college and graduate school, I had absolutely no money. So compared to others, I had nothing — no background. Originally my dream was to go abroad and just study like everyone else. I studied English hard on my own like this. But the way just wasn’t opening for me. So because I didn’t know what faith was, didn’t know how to pray, I always thought differently at the time. One day, as I was praying, an answer began to come. “What if you just don’t go?” Right? “If God’s will is not to go, then what should I do?” I made a very important discovery. I picked up a book and went to the field. To the evangelism field. I found all my blessings there. I nearly missed it and could have ruined everything. So it doesn’t lie in the difficult places.

We’re also listening in Busan right now, aren’t we? When I first went to Yeongdo it was pitch dark. There was no church building, nothing there. At that time I made an important discovery. “If we need a sanctuary, God will provide it later. That’s not what’s important right now. What matters is how these believers can spread the word movement in this neighborhood.” Precisely, in about 270-something places — did it reach around 300 places? We spread the word movement. At the same time. In that wilderness-like place, a thousand disciples rose up. Even I was surprised.

So — the beginning. Once you find your beginning completely guided by God’s Holy Spirit even once, it continues. If you lose your way, you keep wandering. Once you find it, it keeps happening from that point on, anytime.

2) Progress — the Nephilim (Camp 2)
How does progress happen? You may not know, but wherever you go, the Holy Spirit is bound to work. The Nephilim are bound to be broken. That is the standard. Camp 2. That’s why I call it a principle. You must absolutely receive this blessing.

3) Conclusion — Camp 3
Finally, reproduction, re-creation take place. That is our conclusion. Right now, many multi-ethnic people are coming. These people must be able to receive that same guidance when they go back. See that and call it Camp 3.

You have the right to receive this blessing. Why? It is God’s promise. It is a promise given directly by Christ. You must naturally receive it. From now, the door of world evangelization will continue to open. Naturally it will open. To these three courtyards, many multi-ethnic peoples will come to live in the future. Right? Of course. Here, prayer movements happen, healing history happens, and truly gaining real strength will happen. Abraham fully enjoyed the blessing.

▣ Conclusion: My Prayer
So what is the conclusion? What is our Remnant’s prayer? This must be asked. How should Remnant pray? How should our church leaders pray? This must be asked. Whatever else, this (my prayer) must absolutely be done. Our ministers too — what is a minister’s prayer like? Now, someone is sick. Never lose heart. How should the sick pray? It’s written in Scripture — like Paul. “I don’t even know where I am” — you must go that deep. When we face something important, what should we do? We must seek.

Today, if possible, do not learn from people, but ask God and seek. In some sense, you are the one confirming the evidence — you don’t need to just copy my prayer. You must have the secret of receiving prayer answers directly from God. In fact, that’s really the end of it.

This important part is a period of testing. When you have doubts, you must think about this. I said this last week too. “Ah, God is testing me.” It may look to you like difficulty is coming, but it isn’t. Those who have encountered a crisis, we will confirm today’s message in our first service. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that as you pray deeply and earnestly today, even illnesses you don’t know about will be healed.

Prayer
We thank you, God. Let today be a day of great spiritual blessing. As we pray intensely today, let sickness leave, let all darkness be bound, let all disaster leave, and let only your glory appear. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Abraham’s Identity and Restoration

2026.08.09 District Message Week 32
「Abraham’s Identity and Restoration」

Genesis 21:22-34

22 At that time Abimelek and Phicol the commander of his forces said to Abraham, “God is with you in everything you do.
23 Now swear to me here before God that you will not deal falsely with me or my children or my descendants. Show to me and the country where you now reside as a foreigner the same kindness I have shown to you.”
24 Abraham said, “I swear it.”
25 Then Abraham complained to Abimelek about a well of water that Abimelek’s servants had seized.
26 But Abimelek said, “I don’t know who has done this. You did not tell me, and I heard about it only today.”
27 So Abraham brought sheep and cattle and gave them to Abimelek, and the two men made a treaty.
28 Abraham set apart seven ewe lambs from the flock,
29 and Abimelek asked Abraham, “What is the meaning of these seven ewe lambs you have set apart by themselves?”
30 He replied, “Accept these seven lambs from my hand as a witness that I dug this well.”
31 So that place was called Beersheba, because the two men swore an oath there.
32 After the treaty had been made at Beersheba, Abimelek and Phicol the commander of his forces returned to the land of the Philistines.
33 Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the Lord, the Eternal God.
34 And Abraham stayed in the land of the Philistines for a long time.

Summary

When we go through hardship, we can be shaken. There are things we cannot say, but our pride is wounded too. We believe in God, but we still think, “Why has this happened to me?” As we grow older our bodies grow weak, and our hearts grow weak along with them. Even a young person, when circumstances turn bad enough, cannot help but struggle. Abraham thought, even though God is almighty, “How can this be, when I still have no child?” Sarah was too old to be in a position to bear a child.

Hagar – Ishmael – Through the servant woman Hagar, Ishmael was born.
Isaac – Then one day Isaac was born, according to God’s promise. When Ishmael mocked his younger brother Isaac, Abraham drove out Hagar and Ishmael.
Abimelek (King of Gerar) saw this, and, remarking to Abraham how impressive he was, asked to join hands with him and work together well.

▷ Unbelief → Restoration of Identity
Unbelief ruins everything. To recover faith is to recover everything. Scientifically speaking, if you think or say you can’t take it anymore, it actually becomes imprinted in the brain. When our spirit is gripped by unbelief, we collapse completely. No matter what hardship comes, we must hold onto God’s covenant and draw strength from it—if our strength drains away, darkness sweeps in. Abraham completely recovered his identity out of this unbelief. Having faith is important, but our identity is restored when we know that we are children of God. Unbelief produces terrible results. The Arab wars happening now and the attacks against Israel—all of that comes from the descendants of Ishmael. Israel rejected Jesus Christ and nailed Jesus Christ to the cross in unbelief, and as a result, from A.D. 70 until 1948, they had no nation. The forces of darkness attack the breach of unbelief, as in Ephesians 4:27.

▷ Prayer – Turn all our thoughts into prayer. For the rest of our lives, let us abandon unbelief in every thought and turn to prayer instead.

▣ Main

This kind of timetable came to Abraham.

1. The unbeliever [is blessed] – Beersheba
The unbeliever sees and comes to realize this blessing, and comes to see the work of God. And so the word that came out when Abimelek and Abraham made their promise was Beersheba.

2. Promise
1) Personal salvation
2) Family salvation
3) National salvation
4) The salvation of the nations comes about.

3. Restoration
1) Identity
2) Authority – authority that comes with the identity of being God’s child.
3) Witness – giving evidence, so as to make a person a witness.

▷ Today, as we worship, we are taking hold of the power of the word and its mission. We are taking hold of God’s word as a covenant. Abraham, who had always doubted, took hold of God’s word as a covenant, and God counted it to him as righteousness through that faith. In the end, Isaac was born just as promised.

▣ Conclusion_ Test

God tests our faith in order to bless us. This is what is called, in English, a Test. It is different from the temptation that the devil gives.

Perhaps when you go through hardship, you become a little shaken. And now, even though there are things you can’t say, your pride gets hurt too. Even though you say you believe in God, when hardship comes you find yourself thinking, “Ah, why has this happened to me?” And as you grow older and your body grows weaker, your heart grows weaker too. And even a young person—depending on circumstances, when things are bad enough—cannot help but struggle. That’s what happens. It’s shaken like that. This is exactly what happened with Abraham. And so Abraham finally thought, “Even though God is an almighty God, how can this be, when I still have no child?” Even though God is the almighty Creator, Sarah’s age was now such that she was no longer in a position to bear a child.

[ Hagar – Ishmael ]

And so, through the servant woman named Hagar, he had a son. That son’s name was Ishmael.

Isaac

Then one day, Isaac was born just as God had promised. This is when Abraham was overcome with shock. “Wow, God really did give me a son just as he said he would.”

But now, when we look at this, it’s hard to understand. Once Isaac was born, Abraham drove out Hagar and Ishmael. As Isaac grew up, this Ishmael—by now a bit older—kept mocking his younger brother, doing things like that. So when Abraham heard about this, he drove out Hagar and Ishmael.

Abimelek (King of Gerar)

At this time, this person called Abimelek is the king of the nation of Gerar. Seeing all this, this king of Gerar said to Abraham, wow, this is really impressive. In other words, he was asking, let’s now join hands and work well together like this. This is Abimelek’s request. If I think about it plainly with my own mind, I don’t really understand it. “How can he really cast them out just because a child was born after all this waiting? Can a person really do that?” That’s the kind of thought it seems like it would provoke. The customs of that time were also a factor, but seeing all this, Abimelek even came and greatly praised Abraham—that’s what this passage tells us.

“Unbelief → Restoration of Identity”

Here I realized something remarkable. Unbelief ruins everything. To recover faith is to recover everything. This is the answer I arrived at. That’s right. And scientifically speaking, it’s the same thing. If you think or say, “Ah, I’m too exhausted, I can’t go on living like this,” it actually becomes imprinted in your brain. It gets imprinted, and scientifically, medically, that’s exactly how it works. This brain sends the message to the body that it can’t go on. In reality, when I gain strength before God or before people and feel that I can do it, the brain thinks that way too. This is even more scientific. Our spirit—when it is gripped by unbelief, it collapses completely. No matter what hardship comes, you must hold onto God’s covenant and gain strength from it—if you lose your strength, darkness sweeps in, I’m telling you. In truth, all of Abraham’s problems arose when he fell into unbelief. Ishmael being born—that too was a son, but that’s not really the issue here. Fundamentally, Abraham fell into unbelief. God’s word that he would establish Abraham so that the nations would be blessed sounded to Abraham like unbelief. It’s not really about what would happen to Ishmael—the important thing isn’t that Isaac was born and given as a son. Abraham experienced an astonishing shock. He fully recovered his identity out of this unbelief. Having faith is important, but recovering our identity means realizing, “Ah, I didn’t understand at all. I am a child of God. What God has promised will surely be fulfilled.” This is what he came to realize now. And so, in other words, identity is restored. This part is extremely important.

When I’m not out and about with our team, I often carry something to write with to a restaurant. Once I’ve been there and the staff there get to know me and see that I’ve come, they prepare a good room for me privately and make it quiet for me. But eating a meal itself doesn’t take even thirty minutes, not even an hour. When I do this, sometimes it takes several hours—that’s how I do it. The staff there understand and accommodate me fully. But the employees who bring the food out and so on—it’s hot outside, so it must be hard for them. But once they come to know who I am, then these people start to talk to me. The women working in that restaurant, almost all of them, their spirits are collapsed. “It’s too hard.” Of course it’s hard. So almost all of them are collapsed. So I think, “Ah, these people are all collapsed.” “Is there something I can do to give these people strength?” So I’ve talked with them, prayed with them, one time. And I realized, ah, this is why these people can’t help but struggle. They’re all collapsed. On the outside they seem fine while they’re working, but when their true feelings come out, you can see they’re all collapsed.

This unbelief we carry produces terrible results, I’m telling you. That’s why the Arab wars happening now, the attacks against Israel—all of that comes from the descendants of Israel. Because they rejected Jesus Christ, nailed Jesus Christ to the cross, and Israel fell into unbelief, what were the results? It’s easy to say, but from A.D. 70 until 1948, they had no nation. So on a larger scale you could say it lasted about 2000 years. To be precise, for about 1900-some years they wandered without a homeland. When we truly know that there is a real force of darkness, we realize how terrifying this unbelief is. In Ephesians 4:27, it attacks the breach of your unbelief. Because it cannot defeat you outright—because it cannot defeat a child of God—the moment unbelief appears, it attacks.

Today we must hold onto this covenant well and pray. We speak too easily—words too get imprinted, all of it. That’s why prayer becomes imprinted too. Prayer becomes imprinted on my brain, on my soul, on the throne. This is an enormous thing. That’s why unbelievers are made to think a great deal. That’s a true statement, but it’s a lower-level statement suited to people struggling in the world. Among unbelievers, even the truly outstanding figures have gone beyond their own thinking. Right? God tells us from the very start to go beyond our own thinking. Why? If I keep relying only on my own thinking, I stay stuck at my own level. It would be fine if my level were extraordinary, but it isn’t. My circumstances are not the kind that can move the world, and yet I stay trapped there. It looks like nothing, but that’s exactly how we end up.

[ Prayer ]

Turn all your thoughts into prayer. For the rest of your life, abandon unbelief in every thought and turn to prayer instead.

Now, this kind of timetable came to Abraham. So what happens?

1. The unbeliever is blessed – Beersheba
Simply put, the unbeliever sees and comes to realize this blessing. The unbeliever comes to see the work of God. He comes to see this. And so this is what he said when he came: “Come, let us join together. Let us make a covenant together going forward.” And so the word that came out of this was Beersheba. This is the word that came out when Abimelek and Abraham made their promise. If you hold onto the covenant without being caught in unbelief and receive an answer, then even unbelievers come to know it, I’m telling you. This becomes the start of evangelism.

2. Promise
Your faith may seem like a simple thing, but it becomes an important promise.
1) Personal
Personal salvation.
2) Family
The covenant you hold onto saves your family. That’s how important faith is.
3) Nation
4) Nations
And now, look at this—in the end, exactly as he promised Abraham, he brings salvation to the nation and to the nations.
If you don’t believe this, none of it becomes visible at all. That’s why, today too, you must hold onto the covenant of faith and begin to pray.

3. Restoration
And so he restores what is important to us.
1) Identity
Identity.
2) Authority
The authority that comes with being God’s child by identity.
3) Witness
More than that, now he gives evidence, making us witnesses.

As you worship today, take hold of the power of the word and its mission. That is enough. Don’t worry for now about further practical application and such things. Take hold of God’s word as a covenant. Even though he had always doubted, when Abraham held onto God’s word as a covenant, God counted that faith to him as righteousness. In the end, Isaac was born exactly as promised.

▣ Conclusion_ Test

We too hold onto this kind of faith today, but God tests us in order to bless us. In English, this is called a Test. It’s different from the temptation the devil gives. Later, when he took his son Isaac and went to Mount Moriah, that too was “to test Abraham.”

If hardship has come to you today, God is administering a test. Right? He is giving you a test to give you something better, something real. When a teacher gives students a test at school, it isn’t to torment them. It’s to raise up their ability, however it may seem—it’s not meant to cause suffering.

May there be, throughout this whole day, confession of faith, prayer of faith, and praise of faith that tears down darkness, in the name of Jesus Christ I bless you. May today, as you pray, be a day when you recover strength in both body and spirit. And especially, though I know you’ll all be praying, please pray earnestly today for Elder Cho Gyu-beom and for those among our members who are ill. Your prayers carry spiritual power and combine together. May this be a time of prayer. Let us pray.

Prayer

May today be a day when unbelief is torn down, and as we pray all day, may darkness be torn down. As we pray all day today, may Satan, darkness, and every power be broken. May today be a day when our prayers are imprinted upon the throne. May it be a day when our souls and bodies are healed. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

The Seed of Unbelief and Its Descendants

2026.08.02 District Message Week 31
「The Seed of Unbelief and Its Descendants 」 (Ge 21:9-21)

Genesis 21:9-21 (NIV)

9 But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham was mocking, 10 and she said to Abraham, “Get rid of that slave woman and her son, for that woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac.”
11 The matter distressed Abraham greatly because it concerned his son. 12 But God said to him, “Do not be so distressed about the boy and your slave woman. Listen to whatever Sarah tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned. 13 I will make the son of the slave into a nation also, because he is your offspring.”
14 Early the next morning Abraham took some food and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar. He set them on her shoulders and then sent her off with the boy. She went on her way and wandered in the Desert of Beersheba.
15 When the water in the skin was gone, she put the boy under one of the bushes. 16 Then she went off and sat down about a bowshot away, for she thought, “I cannot watch the boy die.” And as she sat there, she began to sob.
17 God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. 18 Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”
19 Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.
20 God was with the boy as he grew up. He lived in the desert and became an archer. 21 While he was living in the Desert of Paran, his mother got a wife for him from Egypt.

Summary

When hardship arises, we become anxious. And because we are anxious, unbelief arises, and the more we worry, the more we increasingly fall into unbelief.

Introduction_ Difficulty – RT 7
But is it really hardship? When our nation was struggling, there were three kinds of people. There were those who said our country is poor and has no strength; there were also those who confronted it and fought against it; and there were those who quietly worked to develop our country from behind the scenes. With which eyes should we look at this? This is the hardship that the 7 Remnants endured. Joseph was sold as a slave and imprisoned because of his brothers’ wicked act of human trafficking. But the hardship Joseph faced was not hardship — it was God’s blessing. John Bunyan discovered the blessing God had given him in prison, and wrote the world’s most important work, Pilgrim’s Progress. Abraham too, because of worry, had his eyes darkened, and though he believed in God, he did believe with anxiety. One day he realized this was not right and began to build an altar, and from that point God gave him a word, and that word was fulfilled. David, in his greatest hardship, said, “Because the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” David truly won. If we don’t properly understand this, look at the early church. If you go to the upper room in Mark’s house, it is breaking the law; if caught, you get arrested; if you keep doing it, you are put to death. Even though the strongest nation in the world, Rome, oppressed them, the gospel won. If we keep being deceived, our spiritual eyes go dark, and our physical eyes become sharp instead. We must see accurately. Once the seed of unbelief is planted, it becomes a problem all the way down to one’s descendants.

Main
1. Ishmael – This is the name of the son born when Abraham did not believe God’s word that He would give him a child, and instead had a son through another woman. Right now, the peoples causing the most problems throughout the world are the descendants of Ishmael (Muslims). These have become a complete axis of unbelief.

2. Isaac – God gave Abraham faith, and when the faith of the gospel arose, He gave him Isaac. We must recover our faith.

3. The work of God – God had promised Isaac, and He will surely raise up a movement of the gospel.
1) You look at your environment and fall into unbelief.
2) Conditions are not met. This is looking only at what is physical, and it is speaking only of results that are visible while not knowing the causes that are invisible.
3) You constantly employ humanism. It is easy to fall for this. There were three great heroes of Japan, and if you read that book, humanism looks extremely appealing. This is how people are deceived by just one book.
4) When a trial comes, you are shaken again. This is when unbelief comes out.
5) Public opinion – not listening to God’s word and instead listening to what people say. Those who died in the wilderness spoke words that seemed more right than Moses, Joshua, and Caleb. Moses, Joshua, and Caleb said it will happen unconditionally, while those who died in the wilderness spoke words that seemed reasonable. And so those people all died. If they had been righteous people, they would have said, “Coming out of Egypt is God’s will. Going into the land of Canaan is God’s plan. It’s fine even if we die here. Our descendants must go.” That is what should have been said. God’s promise said we go to Canaan.

Conclusion
1. Only Christ – We cannot overcome darkness, our circumstances, our problems, or disease. And if you look closely, the world cannot help us either. That’s why it becomes clear why it must be Christ alone.
2. Background – throne (darkness) – The background that appears here, we come to know it as the power of the throne. Without this power, I cannot even change my own destiny; without this power, Africa cannot be saved; without this spiritual power, the 5,000 unreached people groups cannot be saved. And in our nation, there is a dark power that keeps driving us into a curse. We must take this and break this darkness.
3. This covenant is what opens up the 3 eras.

When hardship comes, we become anxious. And because we are anxious, unbelief arises, they say. As we keep worrying, we increasingly fall into unbelief.

Introduction_ Difficulty – RT 7
Now then, we must think about this first. Is it really hardship? When our nation was struggling, there were three kinds of people. “Our country is poor. We are struggling. We have no strength.” There were people like this. And then there were also people who confronted it and fought against it. And it wasn’t only people like that. There were also people who quietly worked to develop our country from behind the scenes. With which eyes should we look at this?
In truth, you all must think about this carefully. This is the hardship the 7 Remnants endured. Because of his brothers’ wicked act, Joseph was sold to a human trafficker. And so, though he was the son of a noble household, he lived as a slave. Just when things were becoming somewhat bearable, he was thrown into prison. But Joseph did not regard that as hardship. This is important. If Joseph had complained, “Ah, this is too hard,” then he would have lost. Sometimes you see even pastors resenting someone and being wounded. That’s losing. And then no matter how you try afterward, in the end you collapse. What Joseph endured was not hardship. It was God’s blessing. This is the perspective you must adopt first.
“But isn’t this really hard in reality?” You could say that. Ah, but you all know from real life. Some person suffers such hardship that they end up in prison even though they’ve done nothing wrong. At that time this person serves a very long prison sentence. What did he do at that time? He discovered the blessing God had given him. He created the most important work in the world. Who is this? It is John Bunyan. What did he create? He wrote a book called Pilgrim’s Progress. That book has been popular enough to be considered second in influence only to the Bible.
Especially you Remnants. If you already carry a wound about your parents, you have lost. And you will lose again. Surprisingly, elders who have a lot of experience and are living well also often hold wounds. If that’s the case, your spiritual eyes grow dim. Even Abraham had his eyes darkened because of worry. He believed in God, but he was anxious. “But I have to make a living,” these kinds of thoughts kept coming. “If I make a mistake, this could kill me,” these kinds of thoughts kept coming. Then hardship keeps coming your way. Abraham’s thinking wasn’t wrong. Why? Because it was truly hard. No. One day he realized this wasn’t it. From that point he began to build an altar. From that point God gave him a word. That word was fulfilled. It is exactly like that. Remnant.
And so, as you all know well, someone like David also endured a great deal of hardship. At that time David said this. At his greatest hardship he said this: “Because the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” But he didn’t just say it with his mouth. He truly did that. David truly triumphed.
If we don’t properly understand this, look at the early church, just once. You cannot. If anyone with a properly functioning head checks into it, they cannot. It was made illegal from the start. So then, going to the upper room in Mark’s house was breaking the law. In the end, if caught, you get arrested. Even so, if you kept doing it, you would be sentenced to death. What would you all do? But it doesn’t end there. Later, Rome applies pressure. Rome, the strongest nation in the world, begins to persecute Christians. Then, what is the clear proof? Did the Jews win, or did the gospel win? Did Rome win, or did the gospel win? Look at the historical evidence.
When we keep being deceived, our eyes grow dim. Our spiritual eyes grow dim. In the same way, once Adam and Eve were deceived and sinned, their spiritual eyes grew dim. Instead, their physical eyes opened. Their physical eyes opened, and they said, “Ah, we are naked.” That’s what happened.
So, all of you — especially our Remnants — I’m not saying this to comfort you artificially. We don’t need to comfort ourselves artificially, nor do we need to receive comfort. We must see accurately.

「The Seed and Descendants of Unbelief」
Do you understand how terrifying this unbelief is? Once this seed is planted, it becomes a problem all the way down to one’s descendants. That’s how you should see it. Here in the introduction there are various people of unbelief from the Old and New Testaments, but just take that as reference material.

Main
You only need to understand this part.

1. Ishmael
Ishmael. This is the name of Abraham’s son. Abraham doubted, and even though God said He would give him a child, he did not believe, and had a son through another woman. You must absolutely remember this. Later on, sending Ishmael away is not the real issue. Right now, in the present, the peoples causing the most problems in the entire world are the descendants of Ishmael. Right now. It is a frightening thing. It seems like nothing at all, but right now they are the ones waging war and causing trouble. Muslims — all of that is the descendants of Ishmael.

2. Isaac
God gave Abraham faith, and when faith arose, He gave him Isaac. And so, this unbelief continues on and on. This seed, it continues. As we go through this lesson, you must look at the lesson book a lot, but you must also recover your faith by looking at Scripture.

1. Ishmael → Unbelief
This becomes a complete axis of unbelief.

2. Isaac → Gospel
After Abraham had Isaac, he began a complete recovery of faith and the gospel. You must look at this closely.

3. History
When you remove unbelief, God works. These are the same three things. Ishmael’s unbelief continues. God promised Isaac, but He will surely raise up a movement of the gospel. Today’s lesson too, there’s no need to look at it in great detail. Just take hold of this: “Ah, I must get rid of unbelief.” What should you look at?
1) Environment
You look at your environment and fall into unbelief, right?
2) Conditions
And then, “the conditions aren’t right.” This is all looking only at what is physical, without any spiritual eyes. Whatever it is, there’s always an invisible cause that comes first, right? But we don’t know the invisible cause, and only talk about the visible result.
3) Humanism
What else? Today, being swayed by sentiment, is what’s called employing humanism, again and again. When you go outside and look at people, you easily fall for this, I’m telling you. I read a book about three great heroes of Japan. The three great heroes of Japan were impressive, and I learned a lot from that book, but once I finished reading it, what happened to me? Employing humanism started to look really cool. They use trickery and scheming, and that looked cool. It’s being deceived momentarily by just one book, you see. That’s how it happens to us. If we get rid of this unbelief, history happens. We think we need to do some great big thing, but that’s not the case.
4) Test
What else? When a trial comes, you get shaken again. Because a trial comes. You only find out when you go through a trial, right? You only know a person once hardship comes to them. Otherwise you don’t know. Right when a trial hits, that’s exactly when unbelief already starts coming out. What else?

5) Public Opinion
It’s more and more not listening to God’s word and instead constantly listening to what people say. That’s public opinion. Once you keep listening to what people say, your faith disappears. And even your leader starts lying now. Even though it’s their own thinking, they say, “Everyone is saying this,” and they even lie like that. Of course there will be some truth in it. So in any case, they make it sound reasonable enough to make you lose sight of God’s word.
You must not be deceived. Those who died in the wilderness spoke words that sounded right. Right? They spoke words that sounded right, I’m telling you. They spoke words that seemed more right than Moses, Joshua, and Caleb. Moses, Joshua, and Caleb said it will happen unconditionally, but those who died in this wilderness spoke words that seemed reasonable, I’m telling you. “But we ate well when we were in Egypt. There’s nothing to eat here in this wilderness.” That’s right, isn’t it? “We were eating well and living well, but now we’ve come to this wilderness and there’s not even any water. What do we do if we die? Then do we have to die on this sand?” Every single thing they said really did seem right. Right? And so all those people ended up dying.
If they had truly been righteous people, they wouldn’t have talked that way. If they had faith, they wouldn’t talk that way. “Coming out of Egypt is God’s will. Coming out of Egypt was God’s will. Going to the land of Canaan is God’s plan. It’s fine even if we die here. Our descendants must go.” That’s what they should have said, right? If they had reached that level, that would have been a somewhat intelligent kind of person. We aren’t even at that level. God’s promise said it goes forward. God’s word said it would bring them into the land of Canaan. You must remember these three things. When we remove this unbelief, God’s work happens. First, your eyes open.

Conclusion
And so, from this point, this is the answer that comes out.

1. Only Christ
Why is it only Christ? Now, this answer comes out. “Ah, we cannot overcome darkness.” We cannot overcome our circumstances either. Right? If problems and sickness hit me hard, can I overcome them? I can’t. Especially if you look closely, the world cannot help me either. The answer becomes visible. That is what it means to see that it is Christ alone.

2. Background – Throne (Darkness)
And so we come to know that the background that appears here is the power of the throne. Without this power, I cannot even change my own destiny. Without this power, Africa cannot be saved. Without this spiritual power, we cannot save the 5,000 unreached people groups. From this point it becomes visible. What it means to break darkness. There is a dark power that keeps driving our nation into a curse. This is what breaks that.

3. The 3 Eras
Today, too, this covenant is what opens up the 3 eras.
And so, many multi-ethnic peoples have now also attended WRC this time. It starts from next Sunday. May it be a week in which you all take hold of this covenant and pray a special prayer this week, in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.

Prayer
Let today be the best day. Let it be a new day. Let it be a day of gaining new strength. Let it be a day of seeing what belongs to You. Let us recover the strength of God that can save the world. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

God’s Power

2026.07.26 District Message Week 30
「God’s Power」
(Ge 21:1-8)

Genesis 21:1-8

01 Now the LORD was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did for Sarah what he had promised.

02 Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him.

03 Abraham gave the name Isaac to the son Sarah bore him.

04 When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him, as God commanded him.

05 Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.

06 Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.”

07 And she added, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”

08 The child grew and was weaned, and on the day Isaac was weaned Abraham held a great feast.

Summary

Remnants and church leaders who came from overseas, and all Remnants, must know what the power of God is. When the word entered in childhood, it changed the world.

▣ Introduction_ RT

1. Genesis 37:1-11

When Joseph was young, he held onto this word of God in his heart. Then the power of this word appeared throughout the whole world. That is why we hold the Remnant Conference. A person whose mind became deranged and who killed many people—that resentment entered him in childhood. That wound entered in childhood. Later, the problem grew to a point the person himself could not overcome. Conversely, because the covenant entered Joseph in childhood, it saved the whole world.

2. Exodus 2:1-10

When Moses was young, the covenant entered him. So it came to save the whole world.

3. Psalm 78:70-72

When David was young, the word entered him.

1. John 1:1-14

What exactly is this word? John 1:1-14 says the Word was God himself. God created by the Word, and even when Christ came, the Word became flesh.

2. Ecclesiastes – a well-fastened nail

Ecclesiastes says the word of God is like a well-fastened nail.

3. Isaiah

Isaiah says that all the glory of Israel will hang on this well-fastened nail. Remnants must go carrying this blessing—that the word of God is not only God himself, but all the glory of Israel will hang on it.

Genesis 18:12

At first Abraham could not believe the word of God. Even Genesis 18:12 records that he laughed.

Genesis 18:17

Even Abraham’s wife Sarah laughed. We have many such cases.

Genesis 21:1-7

But one day, as promised, Isaac was born. We cannot believe the word of God by our own reasoning, but when we believe the word of God, it works with power. We must have this experience.

▷ Carry the covenant with you. All seven Remnants did this. You adults here must pass the covenant on to the Remnants. And then you yourselves will experience the power of this word. Why is that?

▣ Main

1. Solving all problems

Once we receive the power of God, problems begin to be solved. From the beginning He promised, “Through you all nations will be blessed. I will be with you.” He kept saying this, but Abraham did not believe it. Then one day he began building an altar. Even so, he did not believe a son would be born. Even Sarah, even Abraham, laughed. God said, “Is anything too hard for me?” There’s no need to hold onto anything else. Believe the word of God, He is saying. The word of God has the power of creation. That’s why, especially when you take hold of it in childhood, a complete work happens. Everything promised in Scripture has all been fulfilled. Only one thing has not been fulfilled. What is it? The Lord’s coming again.

2. Preparing the vessel

Second, we must remember this. When you take hold of this covenant and prepare the vessel, it will be filled. He took him to Mount Moriah. He was preparing the vessel.

3. God’s timetable

This surely exists. God’s timetable.

That is why we must always believe these three things. Our elders, especially the elders and church leaders, must ask what covenant God has given you. This one thing changes a life.

▷ The covenant I took hold of when young was correct gospel, correct evangelism. If you hold the wrong gospel, evangelism does not happen. If you know the gospel wrongly, evangelism and missions do not happen. You will hold the word wrongly too. Correct gospel is within the word of God. Then you come to understand what evangelism is. From that point, answers come. A pastor must preach the gospel correctly. He must know what evangelism is and make church members live. He must know what missions is and stop the disasters of the world. You must take hold of exactly this covenant and go.

“The Power of God”

We, and Remnants who came from overseas, and all Remnants, and church leaders, must know what the power of God is.

▣ Introduction_ RT

When young, when a Remnant, if this word enters, it changes the world.

1. Genesis 37:1-11

As you know, when Joseph was young he held onto this word of God. So this word of God, once held, has its power appear throughout the whole world. That’s why we hold the Remnant Conference. There is a person whose mind became deranged and who killed many people. That resentment—when did it enter? It entered in childhood. That wound entered in childhood. Later, the problem grew beyond what he himself could overcome. On the contrary, because the covenant entered Joseph in childhood, it came to save the whole world.

2. Exodus 2:1-10

When Moses was young, the covenant entered him. Because the covenant entered, as you know, it came to save the whole world. That’s why we hold the Remnant Conference, and why you look at the word this way.

3. Psalm 78:70-72

Especially in Psalm 78:70 and 72, it says David had the word enter him when young.

What exactly is this word?

1. John 1:1-14

In John chapter 1, verses 1 through 14, it says “the Word was God.” God created by the Word, and even when Christ came, “the Word became flesh”—like this.

2. Ecclesiastes – a well-fastened nail

Ecclesiastes keeps bringing this up. “The word of God is like a well-fastened nail.” It said that.

3. Isaiah

Isaiah says, “All the glory of Israel will hang on this well-fastened nail.” When we hang a nail like this, we hang a bag, we hang a towel, don’t we? The word of God is not only God himself, but all the glory of Israel will hang on it. Remnants must carry this blessing.

Now today, Abraham’s story came up a bit. This Abraham, at first, could not believe the word of God.

Genesis 18:12

Even Genesis chapter 18, verse 12, says he laughed. He laughed because he was told he would be given a son. It didn’t make sense.

Genesis 18:17

Even Abraham’s wife Sarah laughed. We have many such cases.

Genesis 21:1-7

But one day, as you know, Isaac was born exactly as promised.

So we cannot completely believe the word of God with our own thinking, but when we believe the word of God, He works with power. This time, we must have this experience. What must we carry? It’s not difficult. Carry the covenant. You don’t need to listen to anything else. Carry the covenant. All seven Remnants did exactly this. You, our adults here, must pass the covenant on to the Remnants. And you yourselves will come to experience the power of this word.

▣ Main

Why is that?

1. Solving all problems

Once we gain this power, all problems are solved. Right? Once we receive the power of God, problems begin to be solved. From the beginning He promised. This is what they didn’t believe. “Through you all nations will be blessed. I will be with you.” He kept saying this, but Abraham did not believe it. Then one day he began building an altar. Even so, he did not believe a son would be born. Even Sarah, even Abraham, laughed, they say. So God said, “Is anything too hard for me?”

Today, you don’t need to hold onto anything else. Believe the word of God. Why? Because people’s words are heard too, but the word of God has the power of creation. So especially when you take hold of it in childhood, a complete work happens. Everything promised in Scripture has all been fulfilled. Only one thing has not been fulfilled. What is it? The Lord’s coming again. That remains, so it is not yet fulfilled. Everything else has been fulfilled. Prophecies about each nation? They have all been fulfilled exactly. All problems solved.

2. Preparing the vessel

Second, we must remember this. When you take hold of this covenant and prepare the vessel, it will be filled. So look for yourselves at the Scripture passages about Abraham that come up now. All of them are about preparing the vessel. He takes him to Mount Moriah. What is it? He was preparing the vessel.

3. God’s timetable

This surely exists. It is God’s timetable.

So we must always believe these three things. Our elders, especially elders, our church leaders, must ask what covenant God has given you. You must definitely do this. This one thing changes your life. Your remaining life changes, but you must experience this power. Many leaders from Oceania are here too. What covenant has God given me? You must take hold of it. It will be fulfilled.

The covenant I took hold of when young was, ‘correct gospel, correct evangelism.’ That means: if you hold the wrong gospel, evangelism does not happen. I realized that. Oh, if you know the gospel wrongly, evangelism won’t happen. Missions won’t happen either. You will hold the word wrongly too. Then what happens? Oh, the correct gospel is within the word of God. Then you come to understand what evangelism is. I’m sorry to say this, but that’s when the answer starts coming. Before that, I never received answers to prayer. So I thought praying wasn’t going to be answered. So I nearly stopped praying altogether. Because it wasn’t answered. From the moment I took hold of the covenant. One day. A covenant that exactly matched my heart took hold. ‘A pastor must, whatever else, preach the gospel correctly. He must know what evangelism is and make church members live. He must know what missions is and stop the world’s disasters.’ I took hold of exactly this covenant.

So you must take hold of it and go. All missionaries in Korea must firmly hold onto the Scripture about what covenant God has given for the rest of my life. In Genesis 18:17 God said this: “Shall I hide from you what I am about to do?” God gives the word first and then fulfills it. Don’t hold your own covenant like Hannah did—hold God’s covenant. Understood? Don’t hold the covenant of eating like Joseph’s brothers—hold the covenant of world evangelization like Joseph.

▣ Conclusion_ Covenant, Vision, Dream, Image of God, Practice of Masterpiece

So, remain in the covenant. Then vision is seen. When vision is seen, you can dream a right dream. From then on, God’s image is planted in you. From then on, a practical work that saves the world comes out. A practical prayer to make that work. Because He promised to answer. Because we must evangelize the world. Because we must stop darkness and disaster. Because each one of you must save your nation.

Great works will begin at this WRC. Ponder it starting today. What is the exact covenant God is giving me? That’s all it takes. However outstanding he was, Abraham held the wrong covenant, so it didn’t happen. When the covenant was correctly taken hold of, the work happened.

All missionaries in Korea must firmly hold onto the Scripture about what covenant God is giving for the rest of my life. In Genesis 18:17, God said, “Shall I not tell you what I am about to do?” God gives the word first and then fulfills it. Don’t hold your own covenant like Hannah—hold God’s covenant. Don’t hold the covenant of eating like Joseph’s brothers—hold the covenant of world evangelization like Joseph. That’s why in the past, when Hannah prayed, that wasn’t really prayer. Right? It was talk of resentment—resentment. One day it turned into prayer. It became a matter of taking hold of the covenant. So the work happened.

▣ Conclusion

Covenant

So, remain in the covenant.

Vision

Then vision is seen. Right?

Dream

You must see vision to dream the right dream.

Image Of God

From this point something important comes out. Unbelievers don’t know this. The image of God is planted in you. This matters.

Practice Of Masterpiece

From this point a practical work that saves the world comes out. This is what emerges. A practical thing to build the work comes out.

You must carry this away with you. Don’t waste your effort—you must carry it. You must find it. Understood? It’s not difficult at all. I watched our parents suffer. Why? Because they did not hold what mattered. Of course they suffered. I attended church from childhood. All I was doing was things that wouldn’t get an answer. I wasn’t thinking about what really mattered. Of course I wasn’t receiving answers. We must receive answers. Right? Why? Because He promised to answer. The reason: because we must evangelize the world. Because we must stop the disaster of darkness. Because each one of you must save your nation. “Why does this sound like such a dream?” No. Great works will begin at this WRC. Ponder it starting today, everyone. ‘What is the exact covenant God is giving me?’ That’s all it takes. Right? However outstanding Abraham was, he held the wrong covenant, so it didn’t happen. Rather, even though he had grown much older, he took hold of the covenant correctly, and work happened.

Ask yourselves this all day today. Understood? At this Remnant Conference, what covenant will I carry with me? You must take hold of it precisely, down to the Bible verse.

When Abraham Lincoln was young, he took hold of a precise covenant. ‘Slaves must be freed. Those black people must be set free. We are the same kind of people.’ He took hold of this covenant. Not just taking hold of it in general, but taking hold of it down to a Bible verse. What was it? Galatians 3:28. Later, it was fulfilled through changing the world.

Ask yourselves this starting today. In your remaining life, God has surely left the most valuable thing for you. Let’s pray.

Prayer. God, thank you. May today be a day full of grace, and a day of asking questions all day, and let it become the beginning of taking hold of the exact covenant. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Genesis 19:1-38

01 The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground.
02 “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.” “No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”
03 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate.
04 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house.
05 They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”
06 Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him
07 and said, “No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing.
08 Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don’t do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.”
09 “Get out of our way,” they replied. And they said, “This fellow came here as a foreigner, and now he wants to play the judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.
10 But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door.
11 Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.
12 The two men said to Lot, “Do you have anyone else here—sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here,
13 because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the Lord against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it.”
14 So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters. He said, “Hurry and get out of this place, because the Lord is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.
15 With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished.”
16 When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them.
17 As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”
18 But Lot said to them, “No, my lords, please!
19 Your servant has found favor in your eyes, and you have shown great kindness to me in sparing my life. But I can’t flee to the mountains; this disaster will overtake me, and I’ll die.
20 Look, here is a town near enough to run to, and it is small. Let me flee to it—it is very small, isn’t it? Then my life will be spared.”
21 He said to him, “Very well, I will grant this request too; I will not overthrow the town you speak of.
22 But flee there quickly, because I cannot do anything until you reach it.” (That is why the town was called Zoar.)
23 By the time Lot reached Zoar, the sun had risen over the land.
24 Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the Lord out of the heavens.
25 Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, including all those living in the cities—and also the vegetation in the land.
26 But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.
27 Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord.
28 He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.
29 So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.
30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave.
31 One day the older daughter said to the younger, “Our father is old, and there is no man around here to give us children—as is the custom all over the earth.
32 Let’s get our father to drink wine and then sleep with him and preserve our family line through our father.”
33 That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and slept with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.
34 The next day the older daughter said to the younger, “Last night I slept with my father. Let’s get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and sleep with him so we can preserve our family line through our father.”
35 So they got their father to drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went and slept with him. Again he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.
36 So both of Lot’s daughters became pregnant by their father.
37 The older daughter had a son, and she named him Moab; he is the father of the Moabites of today.
38 The younger daughter also had a son, and she named him Ben-Ammi; he is the father of the Ammonites of today.

Summary

RT, Multi-ethnic, 5000

Remnants, especially multi-ethnic Remnants, and among them the Remnants of the 5,000 people groups, must be taught why destruction is coming upon so many people right now. These people are people who inevitably face destruction because they have left God. This is where we shine light.

■ Introduction

1. Success – Pride – You can succeed even without God, and that’s why you fall into pride.
2. Development – Hardship – You can develop even without God, so hardship keeps coming.
3. Economy – Disaster – You revive the economy and it lives on, but disaster keeps coming.

■ Main

The Bible alone reveals this. It’s the same now as in the past.

1. Great powers (war), small nations (slavery), Israel (should have shared the gospel)

Great powers alike start wars, weak nations become slaves, and Israel, having received the gospel, does not share it.

1) Angel – God was with them and sent His angels, clearly gave the word, but they don’t believe.
2) Sodom and Gomorrah – There were many homosexuals. This is not a crime, but it is spiritually deviant, so it inevitably brings severe spiritual problems.
3) They regard God’s children as having no value whatsoever.
4) Why does God’s word matter so much?
5) Salvation means nothing to them.

2. We must do it now.

1) Recovery – We must recover according to Jeremiah 33:1-9.
2) Proclamation – We must proclaim light to many people according to Genesis 19:15.
3) We must do it with a sense of calling. Many people don’t even realize it.
4) Evangelism, missions – Those who do realize it must be given complete commissioning so that evangelism and missions occur. The gospel came into our country weakly and haphazardly, but within 100 years our country began to change. The power of the gospel is a fearsome thing.
5) We must believe that the light has already come. We need not fear the forces of darkness.

3. The next generation

It’s important for the next generation to find out what God called me for, what He gave me, what is truly mine.

1) Deception – Satan uses deception, according to John 8:44.
2) Temptation (worship) – Satan even came and tempted Christ, and demanded to be worshiped.
3) Authorities, powers, lawlessness, idols – According to Ephesians 6:12, Satan infiltrates authorities, powers, those who act completely lawlessly, and many idols and strange religions.
4) He makes us fall into worry.
▷ Light has come to us. Testify to this light. Proclaim it. Then darkness will flee.

■ Conclusion_ Worship

So that we can succeed in worship today as well — today too, Satan wants to steal your worship. He has already stolen your prayer, and now wants to steal your worship. All this must be recovered.

Transcript

– RT, multi-ethnic, 5000 –

We must let the Remnants know why people are being destroyed. Especially multi-ethnic Remnants. And among them, Remnants from the 5,000 people groups. This is something we do every year, but for these people this is an extremely important day. For most, it may even be the first time in their lives. Some want to come but cannot. Some want to come but can’t because of visa issues. So for these people, participating in this Remnant conference is a miracle in itself. So when these people receive great grace, darkness will be broken all over the world.

「Those Who Left God and Are Being Destroyed, and Their Scene」

So many people don’t know right now why destruction is coming. If you saw the scene a bit, you would feel it more — “Ah, this is destruction.” Our children have never seen anything like this. These are people who inevitably face destruction because they have left God. This is where we shine light. How should we do it? We don’t need to do anything fancy. We just need to shine the light.

■ Introduction

1. Success – Pride

These people are slightly mistaken in thinking they can succeed somewhat without God. So they fall into pride.

2. Development – Hardship

Also, they can develop without God. How much can they develop? So hardship keeps coming. The more they develop, the more hardship keeps coming, I tell you.

3. Economy – Disaster

So now they revive the economy and it lives on. But disaster keeps coming. We must block this.

■ Main

Only the Bible reveals this. It’s the same now as in the past.

1. Great powers (war), small nations (slavery), Israel (?)

Great powers alike start wars, and weak nations become slaves. Exactly the same. At this time, those who received the gospel matter. Israel, who received the gospel, matters. This Israel does not share the gospel. They just think of it as ordinary. So they are sent as slaves to the great powers. This same thing is happening even now. You may know that you must work to survive right now, but you feel no reason why you must do missions, why you must evangelize. That’s how it’s become this way. Great powers keep running Satan’s errands, and small nations keep dying, while Israel just sits idle. If they were all captured and just became slaves it would be fine, but they get completely absorbed into idol culture. Such serious things are happening. Israel has no thought about this at all. If we’re not careful, we could become like that too. So important words — people don’t even believe them.

1) Angel

God was with them and sent His angels, clearly giving the word, but they don’t believe.

2) Sodom, Gomorrah – Homosexuality

Rather, in Sodom and Gomorrah, unimaginable crimes occurred. What’s especially hard to understand is that even back then — whenever “then” was — there were that many homosexuals. It’s quite serious now. Our Korea still hides and does this kind of thing, but in some countries they do it completely openly. It’s a strange situation. To what degree — a Remnant recently entered school. As they studied there, it turned out that basically everyone was homosexual. Not just our Remnants — everyone. This child was becoming strange too. Studying together, talking together, people are supposed to help each other, but this one child was being treated strangely. So I asked, “Is there really not even one other child who doesn’t do that?” and he said no. It’s probably a special region, but that’s the level.

So regarding people who engage in homosexuality, there’s a part we must consider — that some of it isn’t by their own choice. When I was young, I saw this — a friend of mine had a younger sister who, from childhood, acted like a boy. From childhood. We saw it because we were children ourselves at the time. From childhood, she’d go alone and cut her hair like a boy’s. From childhood. She’d stand and urinate. From that early age. It was astonishing to us. In the end, this — ah, this is a spiritual problem. Clearly she didn’t intend to become like that. In my view it’s a spiritual problem. If so, we must help all the more.

So some people ask, “What did we do wrong? Why is this happening?” people say this. “We’re not committing any crime, so why?” some people ask this way. Among those hearing my message, there may be some caught up in that themselves. So I’ve clearly said this before, and I can say it again now. It can be viewed as not being a crime. Right? It’s not a criminal act. It’s not like murder or theft. But it is definitely spiritually deviant. In the end, what they themselves must know is that this spiritual problem comes seriously. There’s no way around it. That’s why in Sodom and Gomorrah homosexuality was so rampant and strange things happened. This became a sea of fire, later.

3) Children

So they regard God’s children as having no value at all. What are God’s children?

4) Word

God’s word? “Ugh, why does that even matter” — that’s how it becomes.

5) Salvation

Salvation? These important words become meaningless to them. If we’re not careful, our young people could end up like this. “What is ‘God’s word,’ what is an ‘angel’ spoken of, what nonsense” — “So what if it’s homosexuality” — like that. It’s even getting to the point where drugs are becoming “what’s wrong with that” in our country too, coming to that.

2. Now

We must do it now. Do what?

1) Recovery

We must recover according to Jeremiah 33:1-9.

2) Proclamation

We must also proclaim light to many people according to Genesis 19:15. Now.

3) Sense of calling

Even without realizing it, we must do it with a sense of calling. Many people don’t even realize it.

4) Evangelism, missions

For those who do realize it, we must give them complete commissioning so that evangelism and missions happen, saving people.

The gospel came weakly and haphazardly into our country, but within 100 years our country began to change. Truly the power of the gospel is fearsome. In the past, there were Koreans who couldn’t even read. That’s when the gospel came in. Some people passed on just one Bible and died. Yet even so, history happened.

5) Light

What is that? That’s the power of light. You must believe that light has come. That’s why you need not fear the dark forces.

3. The next generation

This must be passed down to the next generation. This morning too I spoke with our elders — it’s important for the next generation to receive special education, go abroad, and study, but what’s most important is for these next generations to find out what God called me for, what He gave me, and what I must do.

1) Deception

Satan uses deception, according to John 8:44.

2) Temptation (worship)

Satan even came and tempted Christ. What mattered most was demanding to be worshiped. He takes away your worship completely.

3) Authorities, powers, lawlessness, idols

Satan comes to the next generation and deceives them completely. According to Ephesians 6:12, Satan infiltrates authorities. We must pray. He infiltrates powers too. He infiltrates those who act completely lawlessly. He infiltrates many idols and strange religions.

4) Worry

This makes us fall completely into worry.

So you must run errands for the next generation to grasp the covenant. If Remnants come and just realize, “Ah, this is the gospel. I am a child of God. I must pray” — that alone is enough. In the first and second services I’ll keep saying important things, but what you must realize most is that light has come to us. We just don’t know it. Light has come — that’s it. Testify to this light, proclaim it. Then darkness will flee. “You are the light of the world.” That was said. You must be confident. How do you become confident? Just wait. Darkness is destined to collapse. Right? Because you are light, darkness is destined to flee, I tell you. Failing to experience this is why Christians waver. A Remnant asked, “How do I evangelize?” “Don’t evangelize,” I said. “Wait,” I said. “Then the door opens. People trusting in darkness will come out into the light to survive. They’ll come to you then. Explain it then. Don’t force it unnecessarily.” So when you shine light, darkness is destined to flee.

While we worship today, all the darkness around you throughout the whole country and world will be driven out. You must believe this. “He called you a royal priesthood. The reason is to proclaim the light.” Truly, we don’t believe this — light has come into our family, but we don’t know it and keep suffering? This later turns into world evangelization. Our Remnants are a blessing. I attended church as a child but never heard the gospel. No one explained the gospel to me. I never heard the gospel. I never heard an explanation of who Christ is. So you see, our Remnants hear the gospel and the whole world gathers.

■ Conclusion_ Worship

So that we can succeed in worship today too. Today too, Satan wants to steal your worship. He dared to challenge Jesus, didn’t he? Right, dared to challenge Jesus. “Bow to me and I’ll give you everything” — Satan does such absurd things. He wants to steal your worship. He has already stolen your prayer, and now wants to steal your worship too. All this must be recovered. We must recover worship and recover prayer.

May today, through these two powers, be a day when darkness is broken all day long as you receive grace, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bless you. Let us pray.

Prayer. Give us spiritual eyes and permit us faith. Let us know that we are children of light. We thank You that the light of Christ dwells in us. Let that light bring healing to the sick. Let the life-giving light of Christ shine upon the many people suffering from spiritual problems. Let a work happen that shines light upon the 237, the 5,000 people groups in darkness. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Abraham’s Life of Grace and Prayer For the Field

2026.07.12 District Message Week 28
「Abraham’s Life of Grace and Prayer For the Field」
(Ge 18:1-33)

Genesis 18:1–33

1 The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day.
2 Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.
3 He said, “If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by.
4 Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree.
5 Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way — now that you have come to your servant.” “Very well,” they answered, “do as you say.”
6 So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. “Quick,” he said, “get three seahs of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread.”
7 Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it.
8 He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree.
9 “Where is your wife Sarah?” they asked him. “There, in the tent,” he said.
10 Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.” Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him.
11 Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing.
12 So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”
13 Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’
14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”
15 Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.” But he said, “Yes, you did laugh.”
16 When the men got up to leave, they looked down toward Sodom, and Abraham walked along with them to see them on their way.
17 Then the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?
18 Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him.
19 For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”
20 Then the Lord said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous
21 that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know.”
22 The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord.
23 Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?
24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it?
25 Far be it from you to do such a thing — to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
26 The Lord said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”
27 Then Abraham spoke up again: “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, though I am nothing but dust and ashes,
28 what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five people?” “If I find forty-five there,” he said, “I will not destroy it.”
29 Once again he spoke to him, “What if only forty are found there?” He said, “For the sake of forty, I will not do it.”
30 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?” He answered, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”
31 Abraham said, “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty can be found there?” He said, “For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it.”
32 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?” He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”
33 When the Lord had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home.

Introduction
1. Way — 1 altar (18:1) / 2. Meeting (18:2–7) / 3. Genesis 18:9–15, 16–21 Word

2. Reason for field destruction
1) Sodom – Gomorrah / 2) John 8:44 / 3) Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 7:14

3. Lamentation — Prayer

Conclusion — 300%

Summary

Past / Present / Future
Guidepost — Bartizan (Holy Trinity) — Bartizan — Me / Journey — Future

▷ God is originally seated on the throne answering us, and even now is fulfilling His word, so

we look carefully at the word. From this throne He raises the bartizan within me, and sends me on this journey, and the guidepost stands. So I need only be within this. There are also many things happening. There is our past, present, and future as well. Bringing all of this to the throne is prayer. One day Abraham came to realize this, and this is called grace. With this, prayer toward the field began. Within God’s word and promises, amazing things happen. When you come to understand this, it becomes our calling.

▣ Main
1. Way – Strength Because the covenant people hold the covenant, the way that was invisible to Abraham before becomes visible, and He gives the strength to walk that way. Abraham kept making mistakes because he could not wait, but he received it as he waited.
1) Altar (Genesis 18:1) — He builds an altar under the oak trees.
2) Genesis 18:2–7 Angels — A guest came, and it was the angel of the Lord sent by God.
3) Genesis 18:9–15, 16–21 Word — He sent these angels and God gave the word that would be fulfilled and departed.
▷ This is the answer and blessing we will receive. Just live according to the word.

2. Reason for the destruction of the field
1) Sodom – Gomorrah — In Pilgrim’s Progress, the world is the City of Destruction, a city that will perish in the future. Within it you came to buy the goods of truth, but they are not there. Yet it is so nice there that you cannot leave. This is the parable. So you must not look at the world too lightly or too pessimistically — you must see it accurately.
2) John 8:44 — Jesus spoke to the people of the world, saying their father is the devil.
3) Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 7:14 — So from the beginning God gave the gospel. The offspring of the woman will crush the serpent’s head. A virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel. Abraham saw this.

3. Lamentation – Prayer Abraham looks at the field and lamentation and prayer arise. Abraham did not actually disbelieve God’s covenant, but he kept taking different paths and went through near-death experiences several times before he completely found the answer.
1) Saving — Our calling is the evangelism that saves people in the field facing destruction. Not by our own strength, but by giving the gospel and shining light.
2) Heart — Those who have seen the reality of the field must have God’s lament, that heart, contained within them.
3) Intercessory prayer — Intercessory prayer for the field arises.

▣ Conclusion — 300%
So we prepare 300%. Our work must become 300% in order to save people. So the blessing of world missions. Hold firmly to this line and enjoy the blessings of Romans chapter 16.

[Throne (Holy Trinity)]
God is originally seated on the throne answering us. Even now He is fulfilling His word, so we look carefully at the word.

[Bartizan]
From this throne He raises the bartizan within me.

[Journey]
And so He makes us go on this journey.

[Guidepost]
In the end the guidepost stands.

[I]
So I need only be within this. Many people make things hard and difficult, but do not do that — just be within this. Then let God handle everything else.

Work
There are also many things happening.

Past
We also have a past. We try to forget it but it does not go well.

Present
We also have our present.

Future
We also have our future.

All of this is to be brought here (to the throne, bartizan, journey, guidepost). This is prayer. Our past, present, future, and all our work must all be brought here (to the throne, bartizan, journey, guidepost). There is no way but to be victorious.

“Abraham’s Life of Grace and Prayer Toward the Field” (calling)
One day Abraham came to realize this. When he saw this, what did he say? I came to understand this. I see it and I call it grace. Oh, God has given this to me. Grace. He began to live this life. Now with this, prayer toward the field began. Then it becomes easy. Many people offer you many words of help, but the accurate thing is not what they say. We must be within God’s word and promise like this. Then somewhat astonishing things happen. That is grace. Now that we have realized this and are speaking of it, it becomes our calling. We received it without knowing — that is grace. Now that I know this fact, a calling has been born.

▣ Main
What kinds of roads open up?

1. Way — Strength
When you hold this covenant, first a way that was invisible to Abraham before becomes visible. Do not be discouraged — when you are praying because you cannot see it, the way becomes visible. He gives the strength to walk this way. If the answer does not appear quickly, do not be discouraged or flustered — just wait. Abraham kept making mistakes because he could not wait, but he received it as he waited.

2. Reason for the destruction of the field
At that time the people of the field did not know before, and before they were even envious — they now come to know why the field is facing destruction. Before, the world seemed so frightening. But now knowing the reason the world faces destruction — are you afraid? We must save it. Before, not knowing, we just followed the world. But now looking at it, the field is one that cannot help but face destruction. We have come to know this reason.

3. Lamentation — Prayer
The more important thing is that lamentation and prayer arise from looking at this field. Abraham was completely transformed. Before, he kept doubting. And strange things kept happening because of that. Before, he kept escaping to strange places. It is not that he disbelieved God’s covenant, but he kept going down different paths. And so he narrowly escaped death several times. But now Abraham has completely found the answer. You may have expectations. If you remain in this — in the Holy Trinity throne God — and keep doing this prayer, you will see the way. So I am worried about our sharp Remnant — they need to live diligently, but they go outside, see the worldly people, and think there is something to learn from them. It is obvious. They study to death. You have to study, right? Someone I know studied to death. And then he got into Seoul National University, which others cannot get into. That would be some comfort. And then he studied to death again and passed the bar exam, which others find so hard to pass. It seems remarkable. But then when he actually got to the field, he was just living as he always had. Fighting constantly, dominating others, constantly trying to win, constantly. And so accomplishing nothing all the while. He got sick relatively early. That is how most people live. I am worried about our Remnant living that way. I want them to do world evangelism with the relaxed power of the throne. Right? Your descendants must live that way. Take the blessings of the throne — the bartizan, journey, and guidepost — 300% fully, and do world evangelism and save others. Today at the morning session I gave this message — but as you get older you need more strength. The way becomes clear.

1. Way – Strength
What kind of way became visible?

1) Altar (18:1)
He was building an altar under the oak trees. That is Genesis chapter 18 verse 1. Before, he would not have done that. He kept worrying about things, but he builds an altar in front of the oak trees.

2) Genesis 18:2–7 Angels
At this point something remarkable happened. Something people simply cannot believe happened. He sent people, but they were not ordinary people — God sent the Lord’s angels directly. A guest came, and it was the Lord’s angel sent by God. Right? Satan attacks you, but does Satan come like that? No. He enters into people and comes, doesn’t he? This Satan entered into the serpent and tempted Eve. And here he is receiving a guest, and it is an angel. An angel sent by God.

3) 18:9–15, 10–21 Word
At that point — what did God do when He sent these angels? He gave the word that would be fulfilled and departed. This is the answer and blessing you will receive. Do not listen to other words. In my case, being a somewhat lazy type, I wait until I can see it before doing anything else. Not so much lazy as someone who finds things bothersome. Originally. I always say unnecessary things and find things bothersome. Once I went to a restaurant and it was very busy. They did not bring soup. I had gone alone, and what kind of personality do I have? I just let it go. Because it was bothersome, I thought, it is fine without soup. They were too busy. As I was leaving I casually mentioned it. I said I could not eat because they did not bring my soup. They were so startled they said they would not charge me, going on and on. So having that kind of personality I like being led (in point 1), I do. Some people are so busy and diligent they immediately go off and do something else. There is no stopping them. They just do nonsense things. And it is bothersome even to verify things. You check and it turns out to be wrong. They say things with no basis at all. And it is astonishing. People really live strange lives. Just live according to the word. Without a doubt. Especially young adults, do not be startled when you go out into the world. It is nothing special. Do not be afraid. Do not be envious. And do not be dismissive. Hold the covenant and go.

2. Reason for the destruction of the field
Then you now know the reason the field faces destruction. No need to tremble before it.

1) Sodom — Gomorrah
Sodom and Gomorrah. They are going to perish. He prophesied their destruction. How can you look at that with envy? They are going to perish. In Pilgrim’s Progress, the pilgrim enters a certain city and the name of this city is the City of Destruction. That is what he saw. What is it? A city that will perish in the future. You need to come out quickly. People do not come out because it seems so nice in there. Inside there — the goods of truth came to buy but are nowhere to be found. A friend of mine went there and found it so nice he would not come out. This is a parable. You must not look at the world too lightly or too pessimistically — you must see it accurately.

2) John 8:44
Jesus said something. He said something terrifying. To the people of the world He said, “Your father is the devil.” That is what He said. It is a terribly unpleasant thing to say, but it is the truth. Even so, we cannot go to unbelievers and say “You are the children of the devil, your father is the devil.” We can’t. Right? Jesus said it to the Jewish people. How remarkable. Because He is Jesus.

3) Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 7:14
So from the very beginning God gave the gospel. You cannot do it with your own strength. “The offspring of the woman will crush the serpent’s head.” The offspring of a human being will not do. Right? That is why it is the offspring of the woman. “A virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” Abraham saw this.

3. Lamentation — Prayer
1) Saving
So lamentation and prayer began. So our calling is the evangelism that saves the people in the field facing destruction. To save them. And not by our own strength but by giving the gospel there and shining light.

2) Heart
And those who have seen the reality of the field — what they need inside them is God’s lament. That is the heart that needs to be there. If a person doing evangelism and missions goes without this, it is pointless. I would like to ask all the pastors and churches across the country and the world — the mindset of doing evangelism in order to grow the church is not bad in itself, but it is of no help. That is a merchant. You need to have a heart of genuine compassion for them. Right? To me it looks like a desperate cry. It looks like groaning. How much suffering they must have experienced. We must shine light on them. So right in front of apartment buildings, inside buildings, on doors — churches stick things up everywhere. That is fine. How can you look busy and eager? Come to our church, right? I once saw the most moving evangelism tract of my life. A piece of paper this small, folded up. Just one line of text. What did it say? “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house.” And then one more line of text. “Come to me, all ye who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Nothing else. No other text at all. And then, go to the nearest church, like that. In some sense aren’t those the very people with this heart?

3) Intercessory prayer
So of course intercessory prayer for the field arises from us. Now, we have already received blessings. And we will receive more. And we have come to know the reason the field faces destruction. We will save it. That is why we also do our work and study.

▣ Conclusion — 300%
So we are going to prepare this 300%. Think carefully. Your work must become 300% before you can save people. Otherwise just surviving is difficult. When you receive 300%, you can save others. The Remnant must absolutely be like that. 300% is not greed. There is much opportunity in the field. Even if you run one restaurant and become 300% prepared, restaurants like yours will multiply. It is not about unconditionally opening more places. Right? The blessing of world missions. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ to hold firmly to this line and enjoy the blessings of Romans chapter 16.

If possible for the rest of today — praise, and if you can, raise your voice in prayer as you praise, and you need to confess many things before God and gain strength today. Even when just singing hymns today, since it is Sunday, clap as well. On weekdays you would get strange looks if you walked around clapping. But on Sundays it is wonderful. What an opportunity. All your senses come alive. Spiritually alive, physically alive. From now on when you lead praise, pray as you lead — do it together like this. Everyone comes alive. Especially men, do this. You need to live a long time, but men tend to sit there frowning. Not that they are actually frowning — men just sitting quietly look like they are frowning. I heard this myself. Others did not tell me I had a frowning face, but our granddaughter told me grandfather always looks like he is frowning. I wasn’t frowning. “Oh, I see.” Please relax your faces and I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ to receive grace all day long. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, thank You. Let today be a day of grace. Let it be a day of healing. Please let us gain the new strength that only You know. Let the Lord’s Holy Spirit visit the sick. If there are congregation members facing difficulties, please give them new strength, God. Please open the spiritual eyes of the Remnant. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

God of the Covenant

2026.07.05 District Message Week 27
「God of the Covenant」
(Ge 17:1-19)

Genesis 17:1-19

01 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless.
02 Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.”
03 Abram fell facedown, and God said to him,
04 “As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations.
05 No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.
06 I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations come from you, and kings will come from you.
07 I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.
08 The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”
09 Then God said to Abraham, “As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.
10 This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised.
11 You are to undergo circumcision, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and you.
12 For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised, including those born in your household or bought with money from a foreigner – those who are not your offspring.
13 Whether born in your household or bought with your money, they must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh is to be an everlasting covenant.
14 Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.”
15 God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah.
16 I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”
17 Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, “Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?”
18 And Abraham said to God, “If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!”
19 Then God said, “Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.”

Summary

Gospel of salvation – Answer of the throne – Prayer, 7·7·7
Within this covenant lies the gospel of salvation. Within the gospel of salvation lies the answer of the throne – and this is prayer. The prayer being done now is not ordinary; it works even to future generations.

Genesis 37:11 What happened when Jacob held something in his heart and prayed? The prayer about the gospel of salvation and the gospel of the covenant – Abraham at first did not know, so he kept praying wrong prayers, but when he began to build an altar, different prayer, 7·7·7 prayer began. The Bible from the beginning spoke of the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne.

Exodus 2:1-10 The prayer Jochebed prayed brought about something 80 years later. The timetable is in God’s hands.

1 Samuel 1:9-11 Hannah kept going on about grievance rather than prayer, then one day she realized and began to pray.

Daniel 6:10 Daniel always prayed as a habit, and God gave him wisdom to change the world. Though sentenced to death, a person who knows prayer does not fear.

Acts 1:14 Holding this covenant, the church leaders and congregation members devoted themselves to prayer.

Acts 2:1-4 When the day of Pentecost had fully come. That is the answer.

Revelation 8:3-5 – Our prayers are stored at the throne. Don’t be deceived, don’t be shaken, just hold the covenant.

Daniel 10:10-20 – From the first day you knelt, the sending has occurred.

Psalm 103:20-22 – You angels who carry out his commands, who heed the voice of his word, praise the Lord. You his servants who do his will, praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion.

▷ The sick should not worry and experience what 24 is. Experience what prayer 25 creates. Experience what the commemorative work called eternity is like. If Remnants know what prayer is, they succeed academically and 300% comes out. Adults come to know, like Moses, Elijah, and Hannah, what the answer is. If you know this prayer, morning time becomes time to conquer the universe, daytime becomes time to conquer what is visible and what is spoken and the world, and as the day passes it becomes time to conquer the future where 300% is built.

▣ Introduction_ The God of Covenant

God is the God of covenant. There is no more certain evidence than this. In John 1:1, “the Word is God.” He is the God of covenant. More than 7,000 great events have been fulfilled. Now only one remains: Christ will come as the returning Lord.

▣ Main
1. Fulfillment of the covenant – God gives the covenant and fulfills it.
2. He accomplishes all things centered on the covenant.
3. If you are enjoying the covenant – If you do not miss God’s covenant, it will surely be fulfilled. He even changed their names. This means “do not forget.”

Genesis 17:1-2 God acts in all things to fulfill the covenant.
Genesis 17:3 He acts with power toward those who hold this covenant. He gives us the identity, authority, and background through which God’s power is manifested. The covenant we hold will surely save the next generation.

▣ Conclusion
1. My covenant – Today God still gives me my covenant.
2. Bartizan, journey, guidepost – This covenant will surely accomplish the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne.
3. Brain, soul, throne – This covenant is surely imprinted in your mind, thoughts, and brain. It is imprinted in the soul, which is the center of your mind and thoughts. And this is imprinted in the throne.

▷ God’s Spirit dwells in our souls. Even when our soul departs, it dwells there. So when the soul departs, people say “passed away” rather than “died.”

Next week’s district study is the God of Covenant.
“The God of Covenant” → [Gospel of Salvation – Answer of the Throne – Prayer]

Within this covenant lies the gospel of salvation. This is important. Within this gospel of salvation lies the answer of the throne. This is prayer. People who don’t know this don’t realize the significance of sitting here. Many people in the Bible – the elders, older men and women – were praying, right? They didn’t know how important that was. The prayer you are doing right now is not ordinary; it works even to future generations.

Genesis 37:11
Genesis 37, verse 11. Jacob held something in his heart and prayed – you know what happened, don’t you? This is prayer. So the prayer you offer today is extremely important and also a new grace.

(Genesis 17:1-19)
Genesis 17, verses 1 through 19.

Abraham at first did not know what prayer about the gospel of salvation and the covenant of the gospel was. So he was praying but kept praying wrong prayers. He was so anxious. He was praying things like “how are we going to eat and live?” Later, when Abraham began to build an altar, a different prayer began. True prayer began.

[7·7·7]
Jesus completed it, but the Bible from the beginning speaks of the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne. Other prayers become wrong prayers.

Exodus 2:1-10
What did this prayer of Jochebed create? Nobody knows. It happened precisely. One day it happened, 80 years later. Sometimes it happens immediately, but sometimes it’s after sitting and waiting 80 years. The timetable is in God’s hands.

1 Samuel 1:9-11
At first Hannah kept going on about grievance rather than prayer. She kept talking about her bitterness. That’s not prayer. It’s grievance. Right? One day she realized and began to pray. You know what happened, don’t you? This is prayer. This is prayer that enjoys the gospel. So a person who knows this – worshiping on Sunday is the greatest time. People who know this set aside everything else and still worship. How thankful is that?

Daniel 6:10
A person who knows prayer. Daniel prayed as a habit. Daniel knew this and always prayed habitually, and God gave him wisdom to change the world. Problems do arise. He was sentenced to death. A person who knows prayer does not fear. Rather, he prayed with thanksgiving. Though sentenced to death. Right? What happened afterward, the whole world came to know. So today, you are truly praying the prayer that contains the gospel holding the covenant, which is what God wants.

Acts 1:14
Holding this covenant, the church leaders and congregation members continued right through to “they devoted themselves to prayer.”

Acts 2:1-14
Today is our Harvest Thanksgiving Festival. “When the day of Pentecost had fully come” – that’s what it said. That is the answer.

[Revelation 8:3-5]
In Revelation 8, verses 3 and 5, your prayers are stored at the throne. Don’t be deceived, don’t be shaken even if answers don’t come quickly, just hold the covenant.

[Daniel 10:10-20]
Daniel 10, verses 10 and 20 – there is an important record in the Bible. It’s what the archangel said. He said it to Daniel. “From the first day you knelt, the sending has occurred.” People in the world absolutely can’t know this.

[Psalm 103:20-22]
David, who received the most prayer answers of any king, said: “Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.” And further it says “Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.” And verse 22, “Praise the Lord, all his works” – this combines what was said before about angels and heavenly hosts. “Angels, heavenly hosts, praise the Lord.” David in fact had the authority to command the angels. Praise the Lord.

Prayer is something immense. If you could spend an entire day in prayer comfortably, so many things in the world around you would look different. Right? Our deaconesses, elders, senior members – spending a comfortable day in prayer, you need to recover much strength. The sick should not worry, and experience what 24 is. Experience what prayer 25 creates. Experience what the commemorative work called eternity is. Simply put, it’s not about “doing prayer” – simply put, it’s being inside an enormous happiness.

In one sense saying “let’s pray” – “let’s do prayer” – may not even be the right expression. Right? The only reason it’s expressed that way is because there’s no other way to put it; but to be precise, that’s not it. It’s dwelling in God’s greatest power. Right? That’s what’s needed. Prayer as an act is not what’s needed; that is what’s needed. We cannot evangelize the world, but world evangelization must be done. So it was said “I will be with you through the throne’s power.” Right? That is knowing through prayer. “Give him no rest” – that was the expression used. How does the Lord rest? Are we waking him up? That’s not what it means. That’s how it was expressed. To put it precisely, this is what it means: the Lord does not rest, so enjoy that blessing.

If you know what true prayer – the prayer that really gains strength – is, our Remnants succeed academically and 300% comes out. If adults know prayer, like Moses, Elijah, and Hannah, you come to know what the answer is. If you know this prayer, morning time is time to conquer the universe – holding all authority in heaven and earth, I will be with you. Daytime, the many visible things, spoken prayer is time to conquer the world. To the ends of the earth you will be my witness – that’s the process. Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria. As day after day passes, it becomes time to conquer the future where 300% is being built. A person who knows this said even death is fine. Right? Even death is fine, they said.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today too will be the greatest new day through the power God gives.

▣ Introduction_ The God of Covenant

Why? Because God is the God of covenant. There is no more certain evidence than this. The extent of it? John 1:1: “the Word is God.” He is the God of covenant. More than 7,000 great events have been fulfilled. Now only one remains. Christ will come as the returning Lord. That’s all that remains. Everything has been fulfilled. All according to God’s Word. “Why are those difficult nations like that” – all prophesied in the Bible. Egypt, Persia – all prophesied.

▣ Main

So God’s Word has three important characteristics.

1. Fulfillment of the covenant
God gives the covenant and fulfills it. That settles it.

2. All things centered on the covenant
Second thing to know. He accomplishes all things centered on the covenant.

3. If you are enjoying the covenant
Third. If you do not miss God’s covenant, it will surely be fulfilled. You just need to not miss the covenant, right? If you hold this covenant without forgetting. This is what today’s district study is saying. God gives the covenant and fulfills it.

Now look at the district study. Genesis 17, verses 1 and 2. God acts in all things to fulfill the covenant. In verse 3, he acts with power toward those who hold this covenant. He gives us the identity, authority, and background through which God’s power is manifested. The covenant you hold will surely save the next generation. That’s what it’s saying. And when looking at all things, there’s no need for misunderstanding. It all centers back on the covenant. So the initial “do not eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” is a covenant. It’s the covenant of “I will be with you.” Because it was broken, God opened the way of salvation. Because recovery was impossible, He opened the road of recovery. “The offspring of the woman shall bruise the head of the serpent.” So even in Noah’s age, build an ark to avoid being cursed. In today’s text, be circumcised – this means do not forget. Imprint it.

3. If you are enjoying the covenant (name)
Now, what is it here? He changed the name. What does that mean? “Do not forget.” That’s what it means. It’s not that all of you need to change your names. “Do not forget.” That’s it. The identity you received and the background and authority God gave – “do not forget.”

▣ Conclusion

Then this conclusion comes out.

1. My covenant
Today God still gives me my covenant.

2. Bartizan, journey, guidepost
This covenant will surely accomplish the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne.

3. Brain, soul, throne
This covenant is surely imprinted in your mind, thoughts, and brain. It is imprinted in the soul, which is the center of your mind and thoughts. And this is imprinted in the throne. When you tell children about Jesus and ask where God is, they say “in my heart.” To repeat: that’s not exactly right. It’s correct in that it’s there, but it’s not. God’s Spirit dwells in your soul. Even when your soul departs, it dwells there. So when the soul departs, they say “passed away from the world” rather than “died.” It comes out. It stays as it is. So this answer will inevitably go on a path that will surely be fulfilled.

Today’s time of worship is the greatest time God has given. If you believe now, when will it be fulfilled? You can’t know. If you despair now, when will the curse come? You can’t know. That’s where you are being deceived. It will surely come. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today may be a day of covenant.

Prayer. May today be a day of drawing on the power of the throne; may the prayers of your servants become times of God’s kingdom coming upon all things; may the work of God’s kingdom be fulfilled in our descendants and in the 237, 5,000 tribes. May today be a day of healing in spirit and body. May all darkness around us be bound. May all curses be bound. May the peace of the gospel of the power of Christ be witnessed throughout all the earth. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
