Thank you. In our 1st service, the point was that Israel’s destruction was not destruction. That captivity was not captivity. The three young adults faced a crisis, but it was not a crisis.

Politicians falsely accused Daniel and had him sentenced to death. Here we must change one thought. Those politicians who falsely accused him did not win. Even if Daniel had died in the lions’ den, they would not have won. Daniel was falsely accused and sentenced to death. He did not lose. Even if he had won by surviving the lions’ den – not that winning matters – but even if he had died, he did not lose. We are the Summit Committee that raises the Remnant. Then we must do this for the Remnants, right?

“The Life of the Summit” (Daniel 6:10)

We must help them to live a summit life. No matter what anyone says, one receives answers according to one’s level. That is because it is one’s vessel. If we do not properly cultivate the vessel of our Remnant, answers do not come as expected. To the degree that the Remnant opens their inner eyes, they will live with depth. To the degree that they open their spiritual eyes, they will see higher things. So receiving this blessing means you have received the highest blessing in a certain sense. This kind of blessing is not given to just anyone. Because the Remnant age arose every time the gospel was on the verge of disappearing, it is not something humans do. The most important word in the Bible is “the remnant.”

▣ Introduction

Then there are things that must be done first for our Remnant.

1. Spiritual summit

A spiritual summit must be built first. If this spiritual summit is not established first, there will be continuous struggle from that point on. Joseph was young in age, but he was far more a spiritual summit than his brothers. Our young Remnants are not adults at home, at school, or at church. However, the power of their prayer must be that of a spiritual summit.

2. Functional summit 300%

Only then will the 300% of the functional summit come out.

3. Monument culture summit

Only then will one become a culture summit that builds monuments. That is why our Summit Committee was formed and why we hold worship. We must know why it was formed.

1. The bartizan of the summit

This is the first point. Last week Daniel was discussed. He was falsely accused and about to die, but “he opened his window, knelt down three times a day, and prayed with thanksgiving.” Furthermore, what is more important: “as was his custom.” What is that? The bartizan of the summit. Our Remnant must possess the bartizan of the summit.

1) Every day, every hour, every matter
So do it this way. There are answers that come with just one prayer in a lifetime, but every day. Study with the power of prayer. Every hour. You meet various things as you live. You must see with the eyes of prayer, with the power of prayer. Every matter.

2) 24, 25, eternity
This way, wherever you are and whatever hardship comes, you will enjoy the power of prayer. See that and say 24. Then you will truly surpass human ability. 25. An important, eternal work comes forth. This is the blessing the Remnant will receive. Just wait and see. We are now seeing the doors to the 5,000 tribes continue to open, and history will continue to be made. The more there is interference, the more history will be made. Why? Because it is not humans doing it. God is doing it.

3) WIOS
So, Remnant, before you go out, build the system of WITH, Immanuel, Oneness firmly. It is not just Daniel. All 7 Remnants went out with this. It is inevitable that 300% will come out.

2. The journey of the summit

So the Remnant walks the journey of the summit.

At this point something important emerges. On the path the Remnant walks, a true hidden card emerges. It is 7 points. This is important. Whether or not there is revival and blessing depends on how many disciples God has hidden in our church. If our church does appropriate volunteer activities, that gets praise. But only that kind of person is sent. If there are disciples who have staked their lives in our midst, He sends disciples who will stake their lives. God knows. Even demons know it like demons do. They know exactly what level you are at. They know whether or not you possess this power. Satan is absolutely not afraid of those who do not have this power. He is afraid of those who have this power. He worries whether this will keep growing. Because all of this breaks darkness.

At this point what emerges? The remnant. God has prepared them firmly. That is the 7 points. The pilgrim. Now a person with power from God. The conqueror. This person was thought to be living abroad but is actually the scattered one. This person was seen as ordinary but is the watchman, the spy, the one who raises the banner.

Hold this (the hidden card) firmly. This is the journey of the summit. How much of God’s hidden 7 points exists in our church determines everything.

At this point God has firmly prepared the system of only uniqueness and re-creation.

Now, there is no doubt about it. The Remnant must remember this well. They must not be deceived by other words.

3. The guidepost of the summit

Finally, the Remnant is made to establish the guidepost of the summit. Because this is summit life.

At this point truly important things arise. 9 forums emerge. Now, this is important.

1) The three-day weekend age standard

From this point the three-day weekend age opens. For a while I will continue to explain this. Why? Until you can enjoy it. The question is, what is the standard here? Whatever problem comes, the blessing of God is visible. That is called “one who knows the gospel.” “One who enjoys the gospel.” Life and prayer are not separate but go together. That is called “one who knows prayer.” That is what you are to build. If the Remnant’s studies and prayer are separate, they will struggle all their lives. They will struggle only because of studies, and afterward their mind will go awry. Joseph did not just go to Egypt; he went to Egypt as a missionary while praying. It is different. This is the standard of the three-day weekend age. “One who knows evangelism.” Studies are also evangelism. Three camps arise in my studies. Good? That is evangelism. Three camps arise invisibly in my workplace. Follow that and go. One who knows prayer. Does not know prayer very well. One who prays. One who knows the gospel. One who knows what evangelism is. Teach all of that in the three-day weekend age. Then send them out.

The 7 Remnants have already gone out with the answers. What should they do? There is no need for that kind of worry. Just wait and it becomes visible. Just don’t do vague things. When it is clear, it comes when you go. Because you already have this power there is room to breathe. If you go out without this power? You will panic. Is that not right? The world is in a chaotic mess. Panic comes on you. Sometimes you go somewhere and get scared. Some young people are even scared to go to the military.

2) The three courtyards standard

This must be taught. What are the three courtyard standards? This must be taught. Multi-ethnic peoples have come to Korea, and if you do not change what has been imprinted in them by the gospel, those people cannot carry out world evangelism. It must be changed. That is the three courtyards. What else? Just send the sick to doctors. But why must we do it? Root healing must be done. The elders must also receive help from doctors, but they must obtain foundational strength. That is healing. The Remnant, prepare 300%. That is the three courtyards.

3) The holy meditation age standard

What exactly is the standard of the holy meditation age? Going forward, banks could close. Buildings could close. People work from home. The term WFH has already appeared in America. Work from home. No need for buildings. All your occupations will fall away. If it does not align with 237, you will not survive. If it does not align with the 5,000 tribes, you will not survive. That is the holy meditation age standard. If you cannot connect with TCK, CCK, NCK, the world cannot be saved.

Those here who are older in age are fine now. But for the children who are growing up – occupations that do not align with 237 will all become unemployed. You do not need to work. Robots will do all the work. Protests were a good option back then; there is no need to protest either now. They will not use you. What are you going to do? That is why we must open their eyes. This today is not just an ordinary worship service but a Summit Committee dedication service – it is not just an ordinary worship service.

More importantly, what is happening right now? That is more important. What happens when you hold on to an important covenant and are praying?

1. Daniel 6:10

Daniel did not just pray. “Toward Jerusalem, three times a day, kneeling down” – that means he was earnest, right? “He gave thanks and prayed to God.”

2. Daniel 6:20, 22

More importantly, Daniel 6:20. He was forced to bear false accusations and go into the lions’ den, so even the king was frustrated. This is what was said when he was thrown into the lions’ den. The king asked, “Daniel, has the God you continually serve been able to deliver you?” Then came Daniel’s reply. “Last night the angel of the Lord shut the mouths of the lions so that they have not hurt me.” This is what happens when you worship and pray.

3. Daniel 10:12

Daniel 10:12. An important word comes here. “From the first day that you began to pray, God sent me.” This is what the archangel says. “From the first day you humbly knelt down, I was sent.” Satan blocked the way as I was coming. So “God sent the archangel and sent the armies and caused me to overcome and I came.” That is the story.

Right now you are holding the covenant and praying throughout the week, and this is what takes place (as the conclusion says). “God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths.” They could not bite. But the secret is told. “From the very first day you prayed before God, I was sent.” When Moses faced crises before and behind him, when King Hezekiah was in danger, when David walked the path of death, God sent His angels and protected them. Just as this morning’s account described, when they went into the fire. This is the science of a higher-dimensional world. It blocked them. In today’s text, when Daniel went into the lions’ den. “Last night the angel of the Lord stood by me and said, Paul, do not be afraid. You must stand before Caesar.” What is happening right now.

In today’s 1st service, your time schedule for breaking darkness. In today’s 2nd service, the amazing works took place – works where the heavenly armies were mobilized as you enjoyed the blessing of the summit, the life of the summit. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that you will enjoy it and this week will be a week of receiving great grace. Let us pray.

Prayer. We give thanks to God. In this moment, may the Lord who worked in Daniel work in us. Send the armies of heaven and let the work of blocking darkness take place; and for the saints who are in danger, send your angel and let God’s work take place. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

「Even If He Does Not」(Da 3:14-18)

▣ Introduction

Many people overseas participate in our church’s worship services. Even those who are not part of our organization listen in great numbers. There were also many teams asking whether they could come or participate at this year’s missions conference. So the broadcast team compiled statistics: “Approximately 1.2 million people listen nationwide and around the world.” That is the statistic that came out. Today we must hold on to an important message for those people to receive answers. There are also many people in Korea listening to the Word together with us right now. I truly bless you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that this may be a time of complete response, when darkness fully crumbles.

1. The causes of war

There are a few things we need to confirm. Why does war keep breaking out? And what will happen going forward? Ultimately the earth will be destroyed because of war. Why has it come to this?

1) Politicians and great powers who learned from unbelievers
Many politicians and great powers have learned from unbelievers. That is natural, I suppose. The teaching is that you must fight and win. They learned that from childhood. You must crush the enemy, conquer, fight – that is what they were taught. It is completely wrong education, but it is something that people who have not received salvation have no choice but to hold onto. From childhood they are taught Sun Tzu’s Art of War. From childhood they are taught The Prince. Or Han Feizi. Or the Romance of the Three Kingdoms in China, or the three heroes of Japan. They are all people who killed others. That is what is being learned.

2) Those who have not received salvation
I have come to understand. People who have not received salvation do not know it themselves. They are led around by the ruler of the power of the air. Is that not right?

3) Satan
In Ephesians 6:12 it says that Satan uses principalities, powers, wicked forces, and strange spiritual beings and religions.

4) The Bible
What does the Bible teach? What was actual history like? It was winning without fighting. Hold on to this covenant today, and break the darkness around you.

2. Background of the text

We need to look at the background of this text.

1) Babylon, which did Satan’s bidding
This Babylon seized the world and, in the same way, did Satan’s bidding. They built shrines; they made great idols. It is always like that. Egypt did the same. Japan thought, “To take China and Russia, we must first take Korea.” So Japan took Korea. And then they said, “Bow at the shrine.” It is all the same. What Satan does is always the same. In Rome they made the statue of Zeus and said, “Bow down.” That is Satan’s method. This is what was made here. And it was King Nebuchadnezzar, who controlled the world, who made the idol. “All the people, all the officials, bow down.” Simply put, “When the military band plays the trumpet, do it then.” Of course everyone did it, all of them.

2) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego’s refusal to worship idols
As you all know, at that time Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not do it. It was reported to the king. The king was startled. These were friends he had been very fond of, those brilliant friends. He spoke to them again. “Is it really true that you did not bow at the shrine? I will give you one more chance. Do it just once.” When he said that, what these three friends said is what we read in today’s text. “O king, we have no need to answer you in this matter.” That is the same as insulting the great Emperor Nebuchadnezzar to his face. The king spoke and they talked back. “We cannot do it. If we are to be executed and thrown into the fire, the Lord will keep us alive.” As the title of today’s message says, “Even if He does not. Even if He does not keep us alive and we die, we still cannot do it.”

3) The death sentence
The king felt insulted. How could this be, he thought. “Throw those three into the fire. Make it seven times hotter than usual.” In the Bible it says that the men who threw them in were burned to death. They put these three men into the fire, but when they looked from outside, four men were walking around. Three had been put in. What a remarkable thing. If three had been put in, three should be walking around, but four were walking around in the fire. So the king was astonished and said, “Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, come out,” and they came out. There were three. We can surmise: God, who created all science and all knowledge, sent His angel from a higher dimension, a world of higher dimensions, and protected them in the fire. As science advances a little more, it will be explained. But afterward the king was astonished and said, “I praise the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.”

3. What must be confirmed first

Now, first, what must be confirmed today.

1) Great powers
Great powers are capturing many nations and practicing idol worship. That is not success. History has testified to this.

2) The 5,000 tribes
The nations of the 5,000 tribes were sold and served as slaves there. That is not failure. We must see it correctly.

3) Israel
Israel should have been preaching the gospel, but it could not preach the gospel; bound by religion, it always wandered.

4) The covenant-holding minority
Among them, a minority held the covenant. It appeared as though they were suffering great hardship. It was not hardship. Today, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego have broken the darkness of the whole world. Take that covenant with you today.

▣ Main

1. Not destruction but globalization, church-ification, and evangelization

This is the first point. The nation of Israel suffered great destruction twice. Daniel and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego knew this and still refused to bow before the idol. The north of Israel was taken captive by Assyria – in 722 B.C. About 100 years later, around 600 B.C., Babylon took the south, Judah, captive. It is not destruction. That is what the three young adults and Daniel understood. We should look at Daniel during the 2nd service today. God did not destroy Israel; He did three things.

1) Globalization
Globalization.

2) Church-ification
Why were the churches removed? Church-ification.

3) Evangelization
This is the beginning of evangelizing the whole world. The fact is that Israel’s destruction was not destruction.

2. Not captivity but time to prepare for what is true

This is the second point. These people being taken captive was not captivity but time to prepare for what is true. Is that not right? They were prepared in advance, before being taken captive.

1) Remnant movement – the throne
God seated on the throne said to carry out the Remnant movement. This is now the time to do that. They understood this.

2) Gospel movement – Immanuel
“A virgin will be with child and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel.” This means to carry out the gospel movement.

3) Word movement – the eternal Word
“My word, the word of the Lord, will stand forever.” This is saying to carry out the Word movement.

4) Prayer movement – a new thing
“I will do a new thing. I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” This is the power of prayer. Is that not right?

5) Restoration movement – light, the next generation
“Shine your light. The next generation from the nations will return.”

6) Watchman movement – highway, banner
“Stand as a watchman. Build the highway, raise the banner so all peoples may come.” This is the time to prepare for that. That is what the three young adults and Daniel understood. Is that not right?

3. Crisis is opportunity

This is the third point. Crisis is precisely opportunity.

1) Being promoted was an opportunity
These people had been taken captive, but they had ability. They became high-ranking officials. In our terms, they succeeded. What is one of the goals of a public official? Is it not to be promoted? And yet they came to serve a foreign king and rose to high positions. They did not see it that way. They saw it as an opportunity. That is why Daniel purposed in his heart.

2) Being taken captive was an opportunity
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego also purposed in their hearts. Being taken captive was an opportunity for us.

3) Being sentenced to death was an opportunity
They were sentenced to death for not bowing before the idol. This is opportunity. It is something we know well.

▣ Conclusion_ Make darkness bow its knees

What is the word you must hold on to in order to receive answers today? When did the darkness really crumble for those who truly received answers? It is this: it is alright to die. Is that not right? What Satan fears most is Christ. The next thing Satan fears most is this: it is alright to die, only in the name of Christ. All darkness must crumble completely. I hope you will crumble it during this worship time today. All the forces of darkness blocking the gospel are being bound as you worship and pray today. That is certain. Hold on to this word.

1. The characteristics of the 7 Remnants who changed the world

What are the characteristics of the 7 Remnants? They changed the world – what are their characteristics?

1) Joseph
I can go as a slave and it is alright. I was falsely accused and went to prison and it is alright. Why? Because the Lord is with me. There is evidence of this. He knew what world evangelism was. All of that is a Remnant characteristic.

2) David
David suffered greatly. “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I am not afraid. The Lord becomes my shepherd and my rod and my staff. Even though I am driven out and wandering, I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” That cannot be stopped.

※ Hold the covenant so that darkness may be broken.

What is happening around you today? Hold the covenant so that darkness may be broken. When death approaches, it is alright to die. Is that not right? You are not dying. You are going forever to a truly good place, into eternal blessing right now. The ancestors of faith who truly knew this were not afraid at all. This is when darkness is broken.

2. Job

Satan tested Job.

1) The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Do not let me blame the Lord for this.
Satan placed a test. Wipe out all his possessions. Kill all his children. Then Job will stop believing in God. What did Job do then? He put on sackcloth, knelt down, and prayed before God. He prayed a prayer of repentance. “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. I came to this earth with nothing. I will leave this earth with nothing. Do not let me blame the Lord for this.” That is Job. Satan is completely shattered. Is that not right? Satan thought that if he did that, Job would stop believing in God.

2) As the Lord lives, when I meet the Lord I will meet Him outside this body.
What is even harder? Satan made Job sick. At that point, can anyone’s comfort actually comfort him? No. If a person is bedridden with a fatal illness, and friends come to visit and come and go – does that bring comfort? It does not. That is the point. What Job said at that time: “I know that my Lord lives, and when I meet the Lord, I will meet Him not in this body but outside of it.”

3) The Lord is consistent in His purpose. After He has tested me, I will come forth as pure gold.
“The Lord is consistent in His purpose. After He has tested me, He will bring me forth as gold. He will bring me forth as pure gold. Such things happen to him in abundance.” Satan was completely brought to its knees. Is that not right? He made darkness bow its knees.

3. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

What Shadrach and Meshach said in that one prayer was not a long speech – this was not long at all. “O king, we have no need to answer you in this matter.” Did that take 5 minutes? “If we go into the fire, the Lord will deliver us, and even if He does not.” That does not even take 5 minutes.

1) The covenant delivered to the whole world
Through Babylon the covenant is delivered to the whole world.

2) The history of Babylon’s idol darkness being broken
The history of Babylon’s idol darkness being broken takes place. Hold on to this firmly today.

3) An unbeliever praises God
Afterward, what did the king say? “I praise the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.” An unbeliever looks at you and says, “I praise the God you believe in.” A Remnant who saves the world – he looks at you and says, “I praise that God you believe in.”

4. Spafford – world transformation through the hymn composed after receiving great peace and a message from God

You all know a man called Spafford (Horatio Spafford). He was a man who had much, who was well educated, and had a good profession. By chance an accident occurred at sea and all of his children died. Now he had to at least recover the bodies, didn’t he. As he made his way to that place he entered into deep prayer. He laid down everything of his own. He laid down everything he had boasted of until then. How could such a thing happen. At that time God gave this man great peace and a message. Because of that man, the world was later transformed. The hymn “It Is Well with My Soul.” The man called Spafford.

Today, with a short prayer, wherever you go, with a short covenant, you can bring down darkness. When you come out saying, “Because the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing,” darkness has nothing to say. Is that not right? “We are alright even if we die.” That is how they came out. In our 2nd service today, Daniel knows he is going to die and yet prays with thanksgiving. And Esther says, “If I perish, I perish.”

In your prayer of less than five minutes, God breaks darkness. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today may be exactly that day. Let us pray.

Prayer. Thank you, God. Let today be that day. Let it be the day when the darkness around us is broken. Let us hold the covenant before God of not being afraid even of our lives. Let it be the day that broke Babylon and the darkness of the whole world. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank you. Today is the University and Young Adults Committee Dedication Service. In order to set one’s mind on the Lord’s will, one must know. Our young adults will soon become church leaders and people who raise the Remnant. And the influence we have on society is something that comes directly to the young adults. Of course the future of the church belongs to the Remnant, but in practice it is the young adults who build that bridge. But looking at the Bible, the schedule of great answered prayer was nearly always for the young adults. Most of the works that happened were when the Remnant became young adults. So there are a few things to absolutely keep in mind. There is something you must think about before worship.

Before worship (Genesis 18:17)

Genesis chapter 18, verse 17. When He prophesied that He would give Isaac, God said this: “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?” That is what He said. God always announces in advance what He is about to do. That day a feast of worship and praise took place in the home, and God’s word was announced. He made known to Abraham what would happen. So your first habit should be this — before you worship, you must know that God has a word to give you and ride that current.

When problem comes (natural, inevitable, absolute)

Young adults must also remember this. When a problem comes. When a problem comes, how did they respond? Daniel, the three young men, and Esther all took the same action. When a problem came, they did not waver but viewed it as “what was inevitable has come.” At that moment, they saw “what it is that I must do.” Inevitable. At that moment, they discovered God’s plan. They discovered the saving plan — and it is absolute. Young adults must absolutely remember this. How quickly must you arrive at the point where whether there is an answer or not is no longer the question? It must be at a level where it does not matter whether there is or not. That is how you change the world. Young adults are different now. There is no time to hesitate further. In your youth there is some conflict and struggle. If a young adult keeps on struggling, you lose greatly. People have a timetable. Conflict and wandering are things that are necessary — but those are things for when you are young. If you have become a young adult and you are still doing that, that is not right. So looking at the timetable of those among the Remnant who have become young adults — it is completely different. To the point where some of them said, “Even if I die, I am okay.” You cannot stop them. That is how certain it is. You must absolutely remember that.

When the answer comes (the process)

What is a true young adult? When the answer comes. When the answer came, they did not view it as success. That is what unbelievers do. They viewed it as process. When a problem came, they did not view it as failure. It is process. So the only true answer is the fulfillment of God’s Word and world evangelization — nothing else is an answer. Young adults need to correct a few things. Many of the thoughts you hold are things for which you can absolutely never receive an answer. Joseph being sold by human traffickers is not failure. Joseph becoming prime minister is not success. What followed after that was world evangelization fulfilling God’s Word. Along the way, the covenant of the living God was given evidence. That is success. And with this Remnant now in the University and Young Adults Committee Dedication Service — you truly need to be clear about this. University young adults.

Now, a certain person went to do evangelism. A work of God took place. Some people get very excited about that. I worry about those people. Then what if it doesn’t happen? They will be very sad. Young adults must not be at that level. There are those here who go fishing, I imagine. People who truly fish — if they fish for two days and catch nothing, they are not discouraged. Because they know fishing. They know why it is not working. Beginners — if nothing bites all day? Deep down they resolve: “I will never fish again in my life.” That is not knowing. A person who knows does not get very excited like that. When you try fishing, beginners shout out loud — “Woo~!” The professionals bring it up with composure. They don’t make a sound. Why? Because they know. Okay. There is a complete difference. Getting all excited just because some evangelism is going well — that won’t last. Evangelism is not something to be discouraged about, nor something to get excited about. It is being inside God’s work. People who get very excited about doing evangelism — in my heart I think, “That person won’t last long.” It ends. All seven Remnant, when they were young adults — they were all like that. That’s right? You need to catch on to this quickly.

“Those who know the Lord’s will” (Daniel 1:8-9)

Only then will you become one who knows God’s will. Only then do you set your resolve. Without knowing the will, how can you set it? So when a truly great problem comes, a person who truly knows the gospel is not very excited. That’s right? They watch and pray. A person with no foundation at all cannot endure. A young adult who goes out and faces something — if they cannot endure, will that work?

▣ Introduction — What they saw first

These people had something they saw first.

1. Prophecy of captivity

First, it was already prophesied that they would be taken captive. Then isn’t it over? And it was prophesied that restoration would come. Before they arrived.

2. Prophecy of restoration

It is because we really don’t look at the Word these days.

3. Prophecy of the method

It goes beyond that. Even the method was prophesied.

Now, that is enough. People who do not believe in God’s Word at all, people who do not pray — they are in the dark, but people who look at the Word to some degree — the captivity was prophesied. The reason why was also given, I tell you. When will restoration come? It was told. And even the method. “A virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and you shall call his name Immanuel. Receive the blessing of Immanuel.” That means the gospel was missed. That means darkness cannot be overcome. And that is how they came to be taken captive. It is simple.

▣ Main

What must young adults and university students prepare? Now, how does it then go?

1. The past — make it an absolute launching pad

You must make the past an absolute launching pad. You can no longer afford to be defeated any further. What must you do to make the past an absolute launching pad?

You must make the past 300%. To do that, what must you first know?

1) 722 BC and 586 BC — Judah’s fall

Northern Israel was destroyed. In 722 BC. After that, approximately around 850 years later, Judah was destroyed.

2) The destruction of the temple — the sacred vessels

The Jerusalem temple was destroyed and all the sacred vessels were taken away. These sacred vessels were all taken and used for their feasting.

3) Captivity

The king was taken captive and the people were taken captive. At this moment they set their resolve. That settles it, doesn’t it? What does it mean? This must never happen again. But they came completely into the place of answered prayer. They were cool-headed. At this moment they set their resolve. This is the posture young adults must have. How do you make the past 300%? There is only one way to erase the past and make it 300%. What is it?

[Isaiah 6:1-13, 7:14, 40:6-31, 43:18-19, 60:1-22, 62:6-12]

Isaiah chapter 6, verses 1 through 13 prophesied it. Arm yourself with the power of the throne. Isaiah 7:14 — arm yourself with the power of the gospel. Isaiah 40, verses 6 through 31 — arm yourself with the power of the Word. In 43:18-19 — enjoy in prayer the power of God who makes a way in the wilderness and makes rivers flow in the desert. (Isaiah 60:1-22) Now rise and shine forth the light that has come upon you. And (62:6-12) become a bartizan. Give the Lord no rest.

The covenant was firmly held. This is 300% — the past launching pad was firmly made. And then they went.

2. Make the future into today

Now, Remnant and young adults — look carefully. Make the future into today. The future has not yet come. But make it into today.

Enjoy the present 300%. What on earth does that mean? A problem has come right now. This is a future problem.

1) Daniel 3:8-24

Daniel chapter 3, verses 8 through 24. Content you know well.

2) Daniel 6:10-22

Daniel chapter 6, verses 10 through 22. Content you know well. You know the content but don’t know how to enjoy it.

3) Esther 4:1-16

Esther chapter 4. Everyone knows it. How do you enjoy it?

Now, Pastor Joo Gi-cheol did not bow at the shrine and died, I tell you. Why did he do that? He saw the future. That’s right? He saw the future that would one day come. He saw the himself who would one day die. Then this is when to die. “Whether God delivers us or does not deliver us, we will not bow.” This must become the faith of our young adults. Companies having demonstrations is fine, but rather than that kind of courage, first have the courage to work well, and then have that kind of courage.

Personally I am not very in favor of it. I still even now do not use a lot of Korean products. Very inconvenient. Make better things instead of fighting like that. You fall behind. I always use pins. Every pocket of mine has a pin. What do I use it for? Not just one or two purposes. I use it to hold a necktie in place. Interdental brushes. Going fishing, keeping my hat from blowing away. But even now, Korean ones are too wobbly and in the wind they pop out. Japanese ones are good. So people say to me, “Pastor, are you pro-Japan?” “No. Stop interfering in others’ affairs and do your own work properly.” That is what I am saying. Our country will die doing that.

What strength must young adults possess? They already saw the future and viewed today in light of it. They knew that they were there for this reason. Because of that, it is okay for them to die. They prayed knowing they were going to die, and with thanksgiving. Esther, right away — “If I die, I die.” That is what she said. That is what turned everything over. Is there a separate field 300% accounting? How do you count field 300% by calculation? Young adults absolutely must remember this. There is absolutely no need to be discouraged. All the occupations you are working in will change, so get your head straight and make it 300%.

3. Make today into the future

Then what do you do with today? Into the future. It sounds like the same thing but it is not. Today is about pulling the future forward and viewing it. Then everything changes completely. Then what you are doing now you view from far in the future.

1) Works of the age, 300%

So what must the Remnant and young adults do today? Works of the age, 300%. Academic work, occupation, work. That’s right?

2) Prayer 7·7·7, 300%

And then, our Remnant and young adults and university students must be at 300% of the 7·7·7 prayer. Why is that? Because He gave wisdom to the king, I tell you. This wisdom does not come from studying. He gave wisdom to the king. That is exactly right. All seven Remnant. So the theme I have this time is “The Spiritual Emperor Who Saved the Emperor.” Not even a king — even the king of a small nation is a king, but an emperor is at minimum one who governs the whole. An emperor who saves the emperor. Looking at that — future 300%. Is it possible? It is possible. Even a person with a poor head like mine has seen it — it is possible. We prepared for evangelism — they cannot follow. They cannot eliminate it.

3) Rebuilding the temple

What did these Remnant do? At this time they prepared for the rebuilding of the temple. “Go back and rebuild the temple.” A strange thing happened. Cyrus spoke of it first. What does it mean? Open the three-courtyard age. Open the three-day weekend age. Open the holy meditation age.

If you wait a little it will be fine — but then some people made a whole issue over whether to do an upper room or not, and many people who came out of that came to our church. So I gave these people today’s message. “Let us start the first conference that truly opens the three ages. Let us begin the real gathering that opens these three ages.” So the way I do it is through continuous prayer and communication, so let us pray together. Our going into the island nations — not one instance of humanism was used. God, one by one… That is what you are to see. You must realize, “Ah, it is not Pastor Ryu Kwang-su doing this!” When I went and saw — “Ah, the Word is being fulfilled!” They themselves said it with their own mouths. “The Word is being fulfilled.” That’s right. It is not anyone’s work. That is what you must see.

Three courtyards. This is tremendous content — when is it done? During the three-day weekend. Why? The holy meditation age. Let us hold this first conference together with those who have come here today. And then, what is received as answered prayer after that — decide that afterward. Please, now, guidance must be received. You need to be connected with those who have been guiding you consistently until now, and the fact that it hasn’t been that way is why there has been constant conflict. Now, guidance must be received. Our Immanuel Seoul Church must play that role. Many people come when they are conflicted. Then there is nothing to be greedy about and nothing to fight over — you need to help these people truly receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit. For that, let us now do something that has never been done once on this earth. What God has emphasized. Let us begin the actual work of opening the three ages. Rebuild the temple for that purpose. Not the temple that was previously destroyed — rebuild the temple. It is tremendous. Future 300%.

▣ Conclusion

This morning I had interviews with three precious associate pastors. While doing the evangelism movement, elders and kwon-sa deaconesses look very precious to me. And the way I see our associate pastors is also very different. I see them with great hope. So while I taught everything to the congregation, I said there are three things I must not fail to teach. I taught the congregation every conceivable thing, but if I do not teach these three things, that is wrong.

1. Enjoying the gospel

Various problems will exist around us. Various problems arise around us. Going to the field is even harder. But those must become no problem at all. They must become a blessing. That is what is called enjoying the gospel. I told this to the associate pastors. In fact, every problem is a blessing.

2. Enjoying prayer

And you must live with the strength that God has given. Prayer and academic work for the Remnant must not be separated. Then at some point problems come. They must not go together as parallel tracks either. They must go inside prayer. That is what is called enjoying prayer.

3. Enjoying evangelism

The rest — the door opens. You only need to wait for the 3 camps. You wait for the Holy Spirit to work and open it. The Holy Spirit will certainly heal the Nephilim. The work of the Holy Spirit — this Holy Spirit is responsible for the future. The fruit of the Holy Spirit. Enjoying this is enjoying evangelism.

I told this to the associate pastors this morning. You did everything, but this didn’t work? Then it didn’t work. You had the congregation do every conceivable task and kept them from enjoying this? You caused them to fail. That’s right? Young adults matter right now. So looking at the young adults in the Bible or the young adults who move the world — they are all the same. Common thread. It is not doing one thing here and another there. The process. The only answer is one. The fulfillment of the Word and world evangelization. Let us pray.

Prayer. May we be within the work God is doing this week as well. May we be within the work of the Triune God right now in this hour. Send the angel You sent to the three young men and Daniel and Esther, and may God’s work be accomplished. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

「The Promise Given to Those Who Remain」(Is 66:12-24)

▣ Introduction

Thank you.

1. The covenant to hold on to when crisis comes and there is no one to help — the remnant

There are times like this for us. Times when it feels as though everyone is calculating and there is no truth. And there are also times when it feels as though everyone is betraying you. Or there are times when you receive a great wound. There are times when crisis comes and you feel as though there is no one to help.

1) The Babylonian invasion and Israel taken captive

A great hardship fell upon the nation of Israel. It was the time of King Zedekiah. Babylon invaded and gouged out both of King Zedekiah’s eyes. On the grounds that he was not obeying them well enough, they tore out his eyes. They bound that king with ropes and dragged him all the way to Babylon. They destroyed the temple in Jerusalem. It is horrifying. And among the people, those who were capable were taken captive. They were dragged away there.

But when that happened, some people also fled to other nations. Some even went as far as to naturalize themselves into powerful nations. And what is even more absurd, some people turned away from believing in God and fell into idol worship. At such a time, what word must one hold on to? What covenant must one hold on to at a time like this? This is not an old story — because the Word of God is fulfilled for eternity, it is also a present story. There is no way to receive an answer, I am in crisis, and there is no one to help. The very people I truly believed in betray me and run away. What must be done? What word must one hold on to — that is what I am asking.

The remnant.

2) It is natural

Why did such things happen?

The first thing to know is this — it is natural. What the Bible and history both give evidence of is that 99% of the people left. Ask them — they have reasons. “This is why we are leaving.” But there is a 1% who are the remnant. These people have no reason. Those who left have reasons. This remnant has no reason. God did world evangelization through these people. This is not my own saying. And it did not happen only once. It was always present in the Bible. It was always present in church history. For various reasons, people all leave God. Yet there is a very small minority — the remnant — who are holding on to this covenant.

3) One whom God has set apart (Remnant)

Today you must hold on to this covenant. I am the remnant who saves my family line. You must hold on to the precise covenant God has given. I am the remnant who saves the field. The Remnant right now — those Remnant who are alone in foreign countries — do not worry. I am the remnant who will save this region. That is certain. It is okay to be lonely. It is okay to have no one to help. Not just any remnant, but one whom God has set apart. And so in English this is also called Remnant.

2. What God blessed the remnant with

Today He blessed the remnant. “He will make peace flow to you like a river.”

※ Without knowing the gospel, offering oxen and sheep and burning incense is the same as murder and idol worship.

Today there was not enough time to read everything, but what does verse 3 of chapter 66 say? Verse 3 speaks to those who ran away. “What is the use of slaughtering an ox for sacrifice? Without even knowing the gospel, what use is it to slaughter an ox for sacrifice? It is like committing murder. Without knowing the gospel, what is the use of offering a lamb? It is like breaking a dog’s neck. What is the use of burning incense? It is like idol worship.” Those are words spoken to those who ran away. They are words spoken to those who have departed from God.

1) He will make peace flow like a river and overflow to the nations.

And then comes the blessing — “He will make peace flow to you like a river. And also cause it to overflow to the nations.” Hard to believe, isn’t it? Not looking at my own abilities. It has already been fulfilled.

2) As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you.

To what extent? “As a mother comforts her child.” A mother never condemns her own child. That’s right? Even when told the child did wrong, she doesn’t believe it. Even if it’s true, she thinks it was a mistake. A mother tries to help her child. A mother tries to save her child. It should be as a father comforts a child, but it says as a mother comforts a child. Much will come to mind.

3) When the time comes, He will gather the nations and peoples.

“When the time comes, He will gather all nations and peoples. He will make His glory known through you to the nations.” What does that mean? “He will make this light of glory known.” You may not be able to believe it.

(1) People sunk in darkness

But people are sunk in darkness, aren’t they? They don’t even know why they are living. Two things keep on increasing. Mental illness and suicide — they keep increasing. A person who has a mental illness did not get it because they wanted to. That’s right? It is not their fault. The dark environment made them that way. That’s right? You cannot simply say, “That person is a bit crazy.” Someone who commits suicide — it is not something to mock. Captured by this darkness, with the hope of living cut off, they made that wrong choice themselves. Because this light was not shone.

(2) Be resolved

You must be resolved. God has set me apart as a remnant to shine light into the darkness. Without doubt. If you hold that covenant, the answer comes. No other answer is of use. Eating well and living well — you don’t even need to believe in God for that. It’s because disasters have come crashing in. That’s right? Darkness is serious. Continuously in America, the number of people wandering the streets has begun to increase. Compared to about ten years ago, it has doubled. In Japan, the number of people who don’t go outside but stay quietly in their homes has increased. Some don’t even open the door when their family brings them food. The fact is that this is actually increasing. I was quite shocked — this time when I was in Japan, I saw that Missionary Kim Yeong-gon was doing the work of feeding Japanese children. There were no one to feed the children — I’m not sure of the reason, but with no one to feed them, they were going hungry. There must be reasons. In any case, there are many children going hungry in that advanced nation, Japan. Children gathered from Taiwan, Europe, and America — the majority of them are tormented at night. We absolutely cannot just judge and criticize them. They are captured by darkness, and it is not their own fault. It is because they are gripped by darkness that this happened. It is Israel’s fault — that is what this says. So they were taken captive. It is the church’s fault — that is what this says. So the temple was destroyed. Is God playing games? He is telling us something right now.

This is the promise given to the remnant.

3. The Bible — three kinds of readers

The Bible has three kinds of readers.

1) What reaches even unbelievers

There are parts that even reach people who have received no salvation at all. “You did this right, you did this wrong — you will be punished.” That kind of content exists. It reaches even unbelievers.

2) What reaches only the saved

However, the Bible has parts whose purpose is only to reach the saved. The blood covenant. This — someone who has not received salvation simply cannot understand it. Christ. This is something only the saved can take in.

3) The message given to those who will move the world

However, there is a separate message given to those who will move the world. That is what has come out right now. You don’t even need to memorize it. You only need to believe.

▣ Main

There are three things.

1. One who holds the secret

First, what is it? He revealed a secret. This prophecy and its fulfillment right now — it is a secret. Why they became captives, when they became captives, when they would return — this is a secret, I tell you. When that happens, there are several things that are promised.

1) You will survive alone.

In any situation, you will survive. Even when alone, you will survive.

2) Spiritual reality

In many respects, you must see spiritual reality. This must be absolutely remembered.

3) The opposite side

God’s plan is almost always in the place you did not expect — on the opposite side. Not knowing this, people keep searching elsewhere. It is in a place you would never have imagined. They were taken captive, yet the answer is right there. That’s right? Almost always. They went to prison, and the answer is there. It is beyond imagination.

4) No competition

There is no need to compete. You will end up saving other people. You win without fighting. Without even having fought.

5) Nobody

There is no one to help me. Nobody. Yet God is guiding me.

Think about it. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego confronted the king, and there was no one to help. Most people think that using humanism day and night is the way. Those people set the frame. To kill Daniel. That’s right? There is no one to help. Strangely, there are people who kill others and try to make things their own way. There are figures like Haman. This cannot be overcome, I tell you. But God makes it possible to overcome. It is a secret.

2. One who holds the background

And the second. It is not only a secret that is held. There is a background. A winning background — you must hold this.

1) The power of the throne

What is the first of it? The power of the throne is yours. Isaiah chapter 6. That’s right?

2) The power of the gospel

Only the power of the gospel overcomes darkness. Isaiah 7:14. We know this.

3) The power of the Word

“The power of the Word. The Word of the Lord will never pass away. Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength.” By only waiting on the Word, strength will be gained. Isaiah chapter 40.

4) The power of prayer

The power of prayer — it was explained, and that is the background. “When you pray, I will do a new thing. Do not remember the former things. Do not think of things of old. The reason — I will do a new thing. I will make a way in the wilderness. I will make rivers flow in the desert.” That is God’s power, and enjoying it is prayer.

5) The power of restoration

“He will restore the world with light. Those who have fallen into darkness.” That is Isaiah chapter 60.

6) Bartizan

And “He has set you as a bartizan who moves God, who moves the throne.” That is Isaiah chapter 62. That is our background.

7) The remnant (Isaiah chapter 66)

And today He has made a final promise. Hold it firmly. If you listen to the voice of demons and do not believe the Word of God, what will happen? People listen to the words of men — why not the Word of God? You must hold firmly to the Word of God. This covenant was held and prayed upon. This must be absolutely remembered.

3. One who is not deceived

The third. Do not be deceived. Things keep coming up that cause you to be deceived again.

1) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

They gathered all the former military, ministers — in our terms, former politicians — and built a shrine. Bow down there — that is what it is. Satan does that. In Egypt they set it up and said bow down. That is how it comes. In Rome they set it up and said bow down. In the old days Japan set it up and said bow down. It is the same. Satan has no distinction of Japanese-made or American-made. It is the same. The same thing happened.

Everyone was bowing, and only Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused. They were not deceived. A person gets deceived by the atmosphere. What is even more absurd is that the king was flustered and asked why they had not done it. The king liked those three men very much. So he said, “Just do it once. Just once.” “O king, we have no need to answer you in this matter. The Lord will deliver us.” That comes up next week. “But even if He does not.” You must not be deceived. We keep getting deceived. Reality is frightening — there is nothing to fear, yet it feels frightening and so on.

Yet they won completely, didn’t they? The king himself praised the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

2) Daniel

Sure enough. The evil things these wicked people do are always the same. Then and now. Because Daniel was doing well, they did every vile thing to kill Daniel. That is how it always goes. There is nothing to fear. It is to be expected. What else is there for those sunk in darkness to do? That’s right? It is natural. Daniel was not afraid at all. First, in order to kill someone, they need to create the conditions to do so. They found Daniel’s weakness — hiding and watching around the clock — around the clock, searching for others’ weaknesses, around the clock. Looking carefully, he was praying. They seized on that as a weakness. And then they went to the king and knew how to persuade him. What did they say? “The king is the god of our nation. Anyone who serves something other than the king must be killed.” If a child of light had heard those words, they would have objected. But these are children of darkness, so hearing those words felt wonderful to them. “Yes, I am the king, and I am the god.” A law was set. Anyone who serves a god other than the king — the death penalty. And so the king stamped his royal seal on it. The king’s royal seal is a ring stamp. He stamped it. And then they brought the accusation. Daniel was caught.

Daniel did not waver at all. You must not be deceived. Receiving the death sentence, he knelt three times a day, facing toward the temple, and prayed with thanksgiving — so it says. He prayed with thanksgiving. He had to enter the lion’s den. That is what the law said. The king suddenly realized — “I was played by schemers.” There was nothing he could do. The law was the law.

But as Daniel was about to go into the lion’s den, the king spoke to Daniel. “May the God whom you always serve rescue you.” And then he threw him into the lion’s den. And also, there was a law. After throwing someone in — if after one day they were not dead, they had to be released. So very early in the morning, the king went to find him. Having been counting the hours precisely — because he cared so much for Daniel, he was anxious — watching the time. When the time came, he spoke. Do you know what he said? “O Daniel, servant of the Most High God.” That is the kind of thing our Remnant must hear. That’s right? “Has the God whom you always serve been able to deliver you?” If there is no sound, that means he is dead. That’s right? The king called out, heart pounding with anxiety. He called only once, and from inside — what did he hear? The voice of Daniel. “O king, live forever.” That is the greeting a servant gives to a king. “Last night the angel of the Lord shut the mouths of the lions, and they have not harmed me.” The king gives the order. Pull Daniel out. And those who had accused Daniel — they were thrown in. The Bible records it like this. “Those people were thrown into the lion’s den, and before their bodies even hit the ground, the lions had devoured them all.” Like a volleyball being tossed up and caught.

3) Esther

Esther — the same. Do not be deceived.

One who holds the secret. One who knows the background. One who is not deceived.

▣ Conclusion

But why does He do all this? The conclusion has come out.

1. 237

In verse 12. “He will cause the light of glory to overflow.” Because that is what must happen. And verses 12, 18, and 19 — this light must be shone upon the nations. That is 237.

2. 5000

And what does verse 19 say? “Shine the light to the distant islands.” That is the 5,000 tribes. That’s right? So God cannot help but bless the remnant.

3. What happens during worship, prayer, and crisis

Do you know what is happening right now? During the time you worship and pray — during the time you are facing crisis — God sent angels that transcend the fourth dimension to protect the three young men in the fire. Daniel must have prayed when he entered the den. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego must have prayed when they entered the fire. It is recorded that God certainly sent His angel and sealed the mouth of the lion.

Why don’t people believe? There are many who don’t believe. Because they haven’t died yet.

You’ve heard stories of people dying, haven’t you? From beside them. I have seen many dying people. Because I served as an assistant pastor for a long time. There is no exception. An unsaved unbeliever — the devil comes and drags them away. They say so with their own mouths, I tell you. A saved person — an angel comes and escorts them away. It is astonishing.

So even right now, during the time you are praying, God sends His angel to protect you.

Last week, many answers were also fulfilled. I sent our music team to the island nations. Go. Play together with them. Only then will you understand the situation. That is 100%. Field 100%. It was not merely a matter of receiving grace when they went. The Solomon Islands, Vanuatu — everyone was deeply moved, in the midst of grace. While they were doing that, the president came out in person, and politicians encouraged them. Looking at the photos this time, Kim Jeong-hun was treated completely as a distinguished guest. At home in Korea he is always treated poorly, but going there he was received as a distinguished guest. And it was not just that. The place with the greatest influence is the Solomon Islands, as you know. In the Pacific War, the Solomon Islands is the region where 3,000 of our soldiers died. A certain person who attended a mission conference there asked me to pray for them, so I prayed. I could feel that this person was resolved to preach the gospel. And then that week, this person became the Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands. And it was not just — “He became prime minister, how wonderful.” He sent us a document, I tell you. He said that as the answer to that prayer at the time, he is now prime minister, and could we please send a celebratory message. What is even more remarkable is that I had not remembered it, but he kept all the photos we had taken together and sent them to us. The door to 5,000 tribes is opening. Today, let the light shine upon the island nations, upon those distant islands. So He said: I will take responsibility for you. I will comfort you as a mother comforts her child. Not peace that overflows, but peace like a river. Today, you don’t have to do everything. You can hold on to just one covenant and pray for just five minutes. Let us pray.

Prayer. Thank God. Thank You for giving us the grace to shine light upon those who are sunk in darkness. Let this light shine throughout the whole world. Let the peace of the Lord flow like a river. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

「Possess the Eternal Things」

▣ Introduction
Today we must resolve the things many of you are curious about.

1. The thing most people are most curious about is the future.
I have had three strange experiences.

1) The taxi driver’s prophecy
I remember talking about this before — when I was a young pastor in Busan there was a church revival meeting. To get the speaker’s room ready, I rode in a taxi with another pastor. The driver of this taxi was a somewhat strange person. His mind seemed a little off. Without warning he fixed the rearview mirror toward us and started talking. I sat on the outside, the person I came with sat on the inside. He was making some kind of prophecy to us. I found it quite amusing. “I know what kind of people you are,” he said. Then, with my colleague pastor sitting there, he said: “That person sitting inside — he’s a strange one, that one.” I was a little surprised, because he was a bit off, you know. And then to me he didn’t say anything offensive. “That person is…” — he said something favorable. So the pastor who came along with me was quite offended. “Well, the guy’s a bit strange, isn’t he. It’s fine.” We left it at that, but the offense was real.

2) The prophecy of a prophesying deaconess
Now, I resigned from that church and was going elsewhere. That church was one where only wealthy people came; poor people would come and go without fitting in. In Busan, simply put, the person who first opened a department store was a member. When I said I was quitting, they were sad and insisted on treating me to a meal. They told me to come to their home on a Monday. “Understood,” I said. They even gave me a specific time — I had to arrive by 10 o’clock. “Understood,” I said. It was a large, prosperous home. But when I got there, other people were also there — some I knew, some I didn’t. Looking around, the atmosphere was like a gathering of some kind. I had been invited to it. So we sat in the form of a worship service, and after a moment a woman came out from the next room. She was a famous prophesying deaconess from Korea. She sat down, sang one hymn, and without hesitation began laying hands on people’s heads and praying. The prayer she gave was not just ordinary prayer — she spoke like a fortune teller, saying what this person would become, what they would do. At that moment I felt many things inside. “Ah, so this is how our deaconesses live. Completely separate from Sunday worship, this is how they live.” I felt many things. Then my turn came. When it was my turn, while I had been sitting still, everyone else had hands laid on their heads, but she took my hand instead. She was prophesying. When you will go to Seoul, when you will go to America — she talked like that. I had never worked in Seoul and had never studied in America. But people’s minds get strange — if things keep getting stuck, you think: “Am I stuck because I haven’t gone to Seoul?” The mind gets strange like that.

3) The prophecy of a British prophet
When I came here, a young British man — a real elite — trained with us at my house for three months. About three months in, a certain person came. According to that friend, he was a world-renowned prophet from Britain. His teacher. Since that friend was training here, he came to meet him. You’ll remember this. And then this person made a remarkable prophecy. It wasn’t an offensive prophecy either. “This upper room will evangelize the world. And specifically it will do evangelism that the White House recognizes.” I didn’t feel bad at all.

2. A complete answer must be given for what to do going forward. – Three things to understand
The problem is that for our people, “What will become of me in the future?” is in some sense perhaps the number one question. Right? “What should I do going forward?” The churches that used to do the upper room are no longer doing it, so those with a sense of calling are coming out, some coming to Busan, some coming to Seoul. Those people too will surely have a lot of worry about what to do going forward. And also the many people currently experiencing hardship abroad — what they all have in common is “What do I do going forward?” Today you must leave with a complete answer to that.

I’ll start with the conclusion. Back then, I was the same way. Things wouldn’t go well and I didn’t know what would happen. I needed to make effort but things just wouldn’t work. Before I understood three things, nothing worked. No different from an unbeliever. Just living life. Everything was too difficult and I was always worried about the future.

1) The gospel is the answer to all things.
One day I came to know that the gospel — not just that Jesus is the Christ, but — the gospel is the answer to all things. I was looking for that.

2) Prayer is enjoying all of God’s things.
I came to understand prayer. I came to know that prayer is enjoying all of God’s things.

3) The Word of God is the path that brings about evangelization.
What is the Word? The Word of God is what reveals the path that brings about evangelization.

From that point on, the bartizan, the throne, and the journey became visible. There is absolutely no need to worry about the future. The paths keep appearing.

The first thing I started when I came here was what? The upper room. How far have we come now? The 5,000 peoples. Keep praying. How does even the door to the 5,000 peoples open? Since we started praying for the 5,000 peoples, how is the door opening now? Our teams go and are astonished. The President of Vanuatu — that person is a great door to the 5,000 peoples. The President came to Korea in nearly a dying state. Whenever he comes to Korea, he recovers. My, Korean medicine is remarkable. Whatever it is, I was truly astonished. He came nearly dying and then goes back alive. At first he kept saying “thank you, thank you,” and now he has come to a full realization. He realized something like: “God is truly keeping me alive for this world evangelization.” How moved must he have been — our church saved that person twice. How touched he was — he said he would honor me as his elder brother. “Okay then. Listen well to your elder brother. Be sure to practice this treatment I’ve given.” And so I told our worship team: “Go and do it together with the 5,000 peoples. Worship together, play together.” That is what the field 100% should be. That team is now making its rounds. Such a remarkable work.

In the midst of that, just recently a politician from the Solomon Islands attended one of our gatherings. He asked me to pray for him. We prayed for him. And it happened that this very week that person became the Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands. He is now stepping forward saying he will preach the gospel fully. What a remarkable thing.

※ Without knowing this secret, one keeps grasping the wrong things.
Without knowing this secret, you keep grasping the wrong things. Right? Israel suffered seven disasters. They thoroughly held on to the wrong things. “The Lord is our nation’s king. Our nation’s God.” That is wrong. They deserve to be struck down. It is wrong. “God gave the covenant and the gospel only to us.” So they suffer until death, forever, generation after generation. They grasped the wrong things. A serious problem came upon their descendants. If you take the wrong path, it ends up like that.

1) Powerful nations – Keep grasping the wrong things and keep warring
What did the powerful nations do? They kept warring, just as they do now. They kept on with the wrong things. They needed to keep pursuing peace, but they kept on warring.

2) Israel – Running errands for the powerful nations that run errands for Satan
What did God’s people Israel do? They ran errands for the powerful nations that ran errands for Satan. If you go wrong, that is what happens.

▣ Main_ If You Know These Few Things, the Path Becomes Clear
So today we truly must hold on to the covenant — how does one find the path? If you know these few things, the path becomes clear. Even if you try not to see it, you will see it.

1. You must possess the eternal.
First. You must possess the eternal. That is right. You must possess the eternal. What is it?

1) You must possess the power of the throne.
God seated on the throne appeared. He showed many activities of the angels and spoke. Israel will face difficulties, but that is all right. Going forward, the stump, the Remnant will rise. He gave a covenant. The covenant of the throne. Please believe it firmly. What should you do going forward? You don’t need to worry about that. We are going 300%. You must possess the power of the throne.

2) You must possess the eternal gospel and the blessing of Immanuel.
Then what? “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and call his name Immanuel.” We possess the eternal gospel and the blessing of Immanuel. Right? If you have it, it becomes visible. We keep worrying and grasping at other things.

3) You must have the eternal.
Today we discussed something important. You must have the eternal.

(1) Isaiah 40:6-8
“Israel, go up to the high mountain and declare.” Declare what? “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of the Lord will stand forever — declare this.”

(2) Isaiah 40:18-19
“Is this thing made by human hands God? They make an image and bow down to it — is that God?”

(3) Isaiah 40:28-31
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord, the Almighty God” — “Did you not know the Lord who gives strength to us and power to the powerless? Even youths shall faint and stumble, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” You must have this. Are there perhaps those of you right now who are ill in body or who are struggling so much you can’t even attend worship? Let go of your worry. If God wants to call you home, he can do it without that. Right? God is giving you an important message. You must hold onto it. Do you die when you are sick? You die even when you’re not sick. Therefore, you are one who has the eternal.

2. Within the eternal, you must hold onto today.
Second. Within the eternal, you must hold onto today.

The past has gone. The future? In truth, it hasn’t come yet. Right? It’s good to dream of the future, but it hasn’t come yet. The past has already gone. It is today.

1) Establish the throne’s bartizan.
Within today, what is eternal? Without saying anything else, establish the throne’s bartizan.

2) Travel the throne’s journey.
Today, right now, establish the throne’s bartizan and travel the throne’s journey.

3) Establish the throne’s guidepost.
Regardless of whether it is a big or small matter, establish the throne’s guidepost.

Then something becomes visible. Right? Nothing to worry about. Joseph’s goal was not “to become Prime Minister.” That is what someone who hasn’t received salvation does. Someone who doesn’t know the spiritual realm. “My goal is to be with the Lord.” Right? Let go of all worry. Right now today, enjoy the power of the throne. This is also when sickness is healed. Right? Cancer cells keep attacking you unceasingly, but when you gain spiritual strength, they stop. You must remember this. You must take this with you today.

Possess the eternal. See today within the eternal.

Even when I meet unbelievers and evangelize, I tell them this. “You need to succeed here.” “I work at a restaurant…” “You need to succeed here.” Our assistants know. When I go to restaurants I always tip the young workers. I do this (thumbs up). “You need to succeed here. How do you succeed here? Do well with what’s here. Then the next thing opens. Then it keeps opening and opening.” I always tell the story of the janitor who succeeded. I always tell it. I tell the story of Wanamaker. A man who had nothing became the wealthiest person in America. Right? Worrying about tomorrow? That is all pointless.

3. The secret to holding the eternal – Today’s suffering and crisis is the path to saving the future.
What is even more important? Third. There is one secret to holding the eternal. What is it? Today’s suffering and crisis is precisely the path to saving the future. There has not been a single exception.

1) Joseph going as a slave – The path to saving Egypt
Joseph going as a slave was, in reality, the path to saving Egypt. Right? All of it was contained within that suffering. Experiencing God’s tremendous message — I can understand it even more when I am sick. Right? When someone else is sick I may not know, but when I myself am sick — how hard is that? That is when you understand. It was like that in every case.

2) David – Chose the crisis
So David was someone who chose the crisis. Others ran away from Goliath, but David went looking for Goliath. Rather, choose the crisis. In it are God’s important paths.

※ If you have the eternal things God has given, the path appears perfectly as an answer.
Something even more important. If you have the eternal God has given, the path becomes visible. Not visible to the eye. How does it become visible? It appears perfectly as an answer. Then you go that way. There is absolutely no need to worry about the future. “When will I die?” No need to worry about that either. When God calls, you go. Right? While alive, glorify God, gain strength, worship, and pray.

3) The early church’s Paul team
Hebrews 11:38 — it says they were those of whom the world was not worthy. The early church, especially the Paul team — they succeeded. Where was all of it accomplished? The eternal secrets were all fulfilled entirely through suffering. Knowing this, Paul said “I am thankful.” Right? What is there to be thankful for? “I am thankful.”

Yes. Because you must remember this, I will say it briefly.

▣ Conclusion_ Three things to keep in mind when seeking this blessing
So this is the blessing, but in terms of how you actually find it, there are three things to keep in mind. That is the conclusion.

1. Past – The path lies in the thing that has failed the most.
Of the three things in conclusion, first: the thing in your past that has failed the most — the path is there. Things that are going well also apply, but the path is in the thing that has failed.

I found the path in my own home. I came to understand the path of world evangelization by going through churches that were not working. Right? No need to be discouraged. Churches are struggling and floundering over evangelism. I realized it there. Going out into the world I found it frightening. One wrong move and you get deceived. I learned there. How to live. Nothing to worry about.

2. Today – How do you view the answers you have received?
The second thing to keep in mind. Today. The path is in the past failures. What about today? It is how you view the answers you have received. Now, the answer is important, but how should you view the answers you are to receive?

I’ll give three examples. Daniel achieved great success. He did not view it as success. Right? That is the important thing. He properly saw the path. His nation was destroyed and gone, yet he was succeeding right now. Why? He fixed his purpose. He saw the path. “I will be a witness to God here. I will pray for the restoration of the nation and the restoration of the temple. Even if I die, that is all right.” Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and Esther are exactly the same. You must see it that way.

3. Future – Where will world evangelization arise going forward?
What comes next? One more thing to keep in mind for the conclusion. We don’t know. The future. Right? Going forward, it is a matter of seeing where world evangelization will arise.

Eyes looking at America: 237. Eyes looking at Europe: 5,000 peoples. Those people dominated all of Europe and the 5,000 peoples in the past. So now the answer comes easily. Works will keep happening. Joseph never once tried to succeed. God came to Joseph and made him a success. Right? David never struggled to become king. God established David as king, built 1,000 bartizans, and prepared the temple for world evangelization. From today on, stop worrying about the future. It will come out. Something even better will be given.

※ 7·7·7 Prayer – In the morning it is living myself, in the daytime it is delivering the blessing that is within 7·7·7, and at night it is creating masterpieces.

I have nothing to do myself. In the morning when I rise, throughout the morning it is the 7·7·7 prayer for living myself. Just stay within it. In the daytime, when I meet you all, you look so precious to me. It is delivering the blessing that is within this 7·7·7. At night, what do I do? Creating masterpieces. That’s all it takes. Then the doors of answer keep opening. Confirm the blessing you have received today and hold on firmly to it.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that throughout today and this week you will receive great strength and grace. Let us pray.

Prayer. Thank you, God. May this day be a day of full answers from morning to evening, may we remain within that eternal covenant, may we see today within it, may we see the crisis within it, and open the eyes of the spirit to see my past, today, and future within it. May you work upon Immanuel Seoul, Ulsan, Changwon, and all branch churches. May you work upon the many 1.2 million disciples in countless regions who are hearing the Word. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

237 Missions Dept. Devotional Worship
「Shine the Light the LORD Has Given」
(Is 60:1-12)

The deaconesses who prayed from the very beginning are here in front. There is a way for you to receive the same answer without going out to the mission field. Also, disciples of many ethnicities from around the world are worshiping together. Even though you are here without going to those nations, there is a way to save those nations.

Isaiah’s Prophecy – Fulfilled in Babylon (Captivity – Reason)
This passage is Isaiah’s prophecy. And the people who understood it are the ones in whom it was fulfilled in Babylon. Why is that? He explained the reason they would go into captivity. And he explained the reason for restoration. And a few people understood this reason. In Babylon. And the word was fulfilled. Do you understand what that means? Going to the field and doing missions is very important, but if you know those people and know why missions must be done, you receive the same answer. They went into captivity because they did not do world missions. When they understood that reason, they were liberated.

Why on earth are we told to do world missions — missions to other nations? Today’s passage makes it clear. It says all the earth and all peoples are in darkness. This darkness is not merely unseen darkness; because it is a darkness that brings complete disaster and curse, the light must be shone.

(Covenant – 24, 25, eternity = watchman)
There were people who understood this reason and held a very important covenant that could not be overcome. They were given a covenant that cannot be overcome. The explanation of why they had to perish was all given, and servants emerged who enjoy 24 all day and all night with this covenant. The word “24” means the true happiness of enjoying that power. People who love fishing will go out to fish at dawn without even sleeping. Why would they do that? It’s not: “I need to earn money doing this so I can eat.” That would be miserable. Getting up at dawn and going out with a fishing rod just to make a living? That is miserable. They’re spending money on something that doesn’t earn money at all. Why? Because fishing brings them joy. It makes them happy, so they go. Those who truly know this covenant know restoration, so 24 is the greatest happiness for them. That is why they are told to become the watchmen of (24, 25, eternity).

“Shine the Light the Lord Has Given” (Isaiah 60:1-12)
The reason is that there is nothing else that will do. Shine the light the Lord has given. This light is remarkable. Today we read this — Isaiah chapter 60, verses 1 through 12.

▣ Introduction_ What Light
So what light does it speak of? This is important.

1. Gospel – Light (Faith)
The gospel itself is light. It is light that completely overcomes darkness. Light and darkness are not a match. The moment light enters, darkness flees. The moment the gospel enters, curses and darkness flee. Therefore, shine it upon all peoples. All the earth is covered in darkness, in thick darkness, so shine the light. It’s not a perfect comparison, but to put it loosely in worldly terms — it’s like shining a light on a reef lurking at the bottom of a dark sea. If you don’t do that, passing ships will crash into it and everyone will die. The colors are slightly different from each other. Red light means it’s extremely dangerous — stay away. Then you pass at a distance from it. What if that light went out? What if no lighthouse was built there and it was just left? You can’t see the bottom of the sea. Ships crash into it. Then the world collapses in the same way. That is why the gospel itself is light. This is something we must believe. Why? Because God gave it.

1) Genesis 1:3
Genesis chapter 1, verse 3 — the light of creation that broke through darkness, chaos, and emptiness.

2) Isaiah 60:1-3
So looking at Isaiah chapter 60, verses 1 and 3 — this light of glory has already come upon you, so shine it. The moment you shine it, everything comes back to life. Israel, which did not do this, received the curse. It was deserved, rightly so. They went into captivity because they did not do this. Through those who understood the reason, restoration came. You only need to know the reason. “Ah, so this is missions. Ah, so that is why the missionaries are important. Ah, so that is why those of many ethnicities are important.” That is how the realization comes. Even without going, it is done through prayer.

3) John 1:11
Why is that? Because Jesus came as the light. Jesus is the light. So to those who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

4) Matthew 5:13-16
So it is not difficult at all — we who believe are the light of the world. If you have friends going into the military, there is at least one thing you must do. There are soldiers with depression. The military chaplains and military ministry are said to be there, yet they don’t know about it. Those soldiers are dying by suicide. You must shine the light to them. And here is something even more important. When our Remnant go, the people will sense it even without you trying to shine the light. They will approach you. If not, you must approach them. Do it every day. Works will happen. You must make the darkness flee. If you don’t do that, some people inside the barracks will cause serious incidents and die by suicide. Elders and others, you all have jobs. You don’t need to go around aggressively evangelizing inside the workplace — that looks a bit odd. You yourselves are the light. If you carry that light, people drowning in darkness will come to you. See it clearly — what missions is. When you shine the light, people who were in darkness will come. You yourselves are the light.

5) 1 Peter 2:9
So in 1 Peter chapter 2, verse 9 — he called us so that we would shine this light, and he didn’t call us just anyhow — he called us as a royal priesthood. I have done evangelism for 40 years, and though there were many problems and difficulties, I never worried. Why? Because I am a royal priest — why would I worry? He called us as a holy nation, a chosen people. When all is said and done, all of it brought answers and all was overcome. When we are persecuted for something we did wrong, we repent — isn’t that right? Persecution received otherwise carries tremendous, significant meaning. We did an evangelism movement here and in about 3 years a thousand disciples arose, and the surrounding churches began to persecute us. It doesn’t matter. That persecution has no effect. I went out across all of Korea. Then Korea started to persecute us. The people in Busan — they can’t do evangelism, but they are good at this. They spread things all across the country and the world and tried to make things difficult. I thought: “Ah, every person has their own 24.” It doesn’t matter. Our disciples are rising up all over the world. Since they’re persecuting from all over the world, it doesn’t matter. We’re going to the 5,000 peoples. Finally, once we began entering the 5,000 peoples, the tide turned. I won’t say which denomination, but for several years they kept attacking us to cause confusion in Vanuatu. God did a special work in Vanuatu. Didn’t he? What was the result? As I mentioned, Vanuatu spoke as a nation. “You leave our country.” The president of the nation made the decision. “As we see it, this is not right. We too are people who studied theology.” Something absurd happened. So that is why he called us as royal priests — so that we would deliver this light. You must believe it. As for persecution and such things, don’t even blink.

2. Prayer – Enjoying the Light
What is prayer? Prayer is praying to God — but what kind of blessing is it? It is enjoying this light. Because the light is Christ.

3. Evangelism – Delivering the Light
What is evangelism? What is missions? It is delivering this light. It is conveying this light. I explained it simply through the concept of light today. The only way to eliminate darkness is through light. If, though different from that light, you think about there being no electricity here right now — we’d have to live in complete darkness. What happens spiritually when darkness covers us? So because that light is Christ, and because we have this Christ, we only need to shine the light. Honestly, even prayer alone is enough. People don’t understand prayer, but prayer alone is sufficient. Prayer moves the throne. Prayer establishes the throne’s bartizan. Prayer travels the throne’s journey. Prayer leaves the throne’s guidepost. You can do it as much as you want.

▣ Main_ Light
So what is this light? Why are you being told to pray?

1. The True Strength of 237
It is because this is the true strength that saves 237. Where did this light come from?

1) The Creator of Light
Because it is light from the throne, God is the Creator of this light. That is right. So this power is immense.

2) The One Who Came as Light
The One who came as light is Christ. The power to save 237 is nothing other than this.

3) Those Who Deliver the Light
Those who deliver this light are you people. Therefore, the true strength that saves 237 is not found in many things — it is nothing other than this. In those 5,000 peoples, darkness must flee first. When the gospel came into our country, darkness began to crumble first. Bowing before trees. That is how our country was. Bowing even before rocks. Bowing before certain seas. Even bowing before the moon. That is how our country was. Darkness covered everything. When the light of the gospel shines, all darkness automatically flees.

2. The Timetable of 237
The second thing to understand. When is the timetable for this true light to shine upon 237? We need to see this clearly. When is the timetable?

1) Slavery
It is simple. When enslaved. That is when it shines. In reality, when the whole world was enslaved to Satan.

2) Captivity
God sent Israel into captivity so they would understand. This is the timetable for the light to shine. At that time God said: “Arise and shine.” That is all you need to do. “The glory of the Lord has already come upon you.” You must believe it. “The small shall become a thousand, and the weak shall become a strong nation.”

3) Vassalage
When made a vassal state.

4) Wandering
When they became wanderers. This is the timetable for the light to shine. The suffering you experience is the timetable for enjoying and delivering the light. Never be discouraged; even the sick must gain more strength. This is the time for you to gain the greatest strength. You must not be deceived. If you become deceived in your heart and fall into discouragement, all your nerves break down. When you truly gain spiritual strength, you gain strength in your heart and your body also comes alive. It’s only because people don’t know the spiritual realm. Your work also comes alive.

3. The Answers of 237
So then, what kind of answers are the answers of the light of 237?

1) Isaiah 6:1-13 Throne
What kind of answer is it? It was already given. What is it? Enjoying the power of the throne is the answer. This comes first, invisibly.

2) Isaiah 7:14 Gospel
Isaiah chapter 7, verse 14 — enjoying the power of the gospel is the answer.

3) Isaiah 40:1-31 Word
It kept coming up. Isaiah chapter 40, verses 1 through 31 — enjoying the power of the Word is the true answer.

4) Restoration
It doesn’t end there. As shown in today’s passage — now it is enjoying the power of restoration.

5) Watchman
Finally, it is enjoying the power of the watchman. This is the true answer.

It was given in advance. Isaiah gave it, and Daniel held onto it. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego held onto it. Esther held onto this prophesied covenant. Nehemiah and many others like him held onto it. A few held on, and this light drove out all the darkness. This is the blessing you enjoy at this 237 dedication service. There’s nothing special to do. You only need to believe. Arise and shine the light you have. If I said “make light and shine it,” that would be hard — but the glory of the Lord has already come upon you. Just shine it.

You must confess today. Are you sick in your body? What do you do? God, I am sick but that is all right. I need your power. I will receive this as a message to heal the sick. That is right? You must confess. That is shining the light. How do you shine the light? It is not like flipping a switch. When Joseph was sold into slavery: “God, I am going to do world evangelization.” That is right? That is the time for shining the light. If while going he said: “Oh, I’m going crazy. What do I do?” — he would die on the way. Right? If he was thrown into prison under false accusation: “Why is this happening to me?” — that would mean dying in prison. I met enormous political prisoners there through God’s amazing secret, and I learned politics. That was the road to rising up.

Every time we worship, we must enjoy and shine this light. Prayer is also shining the light, delivering the Word is also shining the light, and evangelism and missions are also shining the light. There is absolutely no reason to be discouraged. I watched my parents suffer and I found the answer that would bring a lifetime of responses. That is right? That is the light. Light. Gospel. Churches everywhere don’t do evangelism. They just fight. They do useless things. They don’t simply refuse to evangelize — they can’t. And so I came to understand: “Ah, that’s right. There’s no way they can.” They don’t know what it means to shine the light. They keep shining out darkness all day. It doesn’t work. You must not do that. Nothing is difficult. If I just keep shining the light He gave, God will do the works. How? God said: “I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the nations.” He said “I, the Lord, declare it” six times. From chapter 2, verses 1 through 9, six times. “I, the Lord, declare it.” That means God will do it. Enjoy this answer. Then I will wrap up in conclusion.

▣ Conclusion_ [Isaiah 60:20-22]
We didn’t read all of it because of time — you were supposed to read through verse 22. Isaiah chapter 60, verses 20 through 22. The small shall become a thousand, and do you look weak? You shall become a strong nation. I, the Lord, at the right time will hasten it.

People keep misunderstanding, but why do you think I sent a music team to the island nation? I told them to go. I said it several times. Go there and actually play with them together. And look at how they read music, what kind of music it is, whether they even have sheet music, confirm it. Try singing together at whatever level they sing. What does that mean? The field 100%. The gospel and the message are already 100% in hand. The field 100% is what they couldn’t see. So then after returning, what must be done? How this should be done — that is what the system, the future 100% means. Then it becomes 300%.

It absolutely must be done. Without it you cannot win. Academics 300% — without it you cannot win. If you do it, you win easily. While the multi-ethnic people are at our church, prepare 300%. Prayer 300%. Your work 300%. Evangelism and missions 300%. You must prepare thoroughly and go. Even if you don’t go, if you do this, you can save your nation.

1. Daniel 1:8-9, 6:10-20
Who is this speaking of? Daniel had prepared 300%. In both skill and every aspect of the field. Even when facing death in Daniel chapter 6, he was not shaken at all.

2. Daniel 3:8-24
Daniel chapter 3, verses 8 through 24. The three young adults prepared 300%.

3. Esther 4:1-16
Esther prepared 300%.

So though you may look small, you shall form a thousand; though you may look weak, you shall become a strong nation. Who says so? I, the Lord, at the right time will hasten it. You don’t really understand prayer. But here — the praying deaconesses sitting with us — these people are extraordinary. They are the ones who move the throne. We prayed from the very beginning. When you go to Immanuel Seoul, the senior elders are sitting in a row right up front. All dressed up elegantly, sitting in a line. But other people can’t come in. Only the elders sit in a row like that. It’s magnificent. They are holding things up with prayer like that. Not many people understand that power. Because they don’t know what prayer is. Those who know prayer will find that one day the answer comes and is fulfilled.

So: “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” If it were something we already knew, anyone could do it. “I will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” Even this week, I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that prayer to enjoy and deliver this light continues. Let us pray.

Prayer. May we see the Word of God being fulfilled even this week, may all our prayers be answered, and may we see the doors of evangelism and missions opening. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Thank you. That was world-class praise.

Isaiah 6:1-13

In the beginning, God appeared to Isaiah. God appeared seated on the throne.

Isaiah 60:20-22

This Isaiah said: “The least of you will become a thousand, the weakest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.”

Isaiah 62:6-12

“I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will never be silent day or night. Do not give the Lord any rest.” Here, something tremendous about prayer has come up. I talked about prayer in the first service as well, but because people don’t understand it well, they miss it.

[ Throne ]

Your prayers are presented before the throne. Isaiah chapter 6 showed us a vision of it. It shows all the activity of the angels and so on. When you pray, that kind of thing happens.

[ Kingdom ]

And the answer to prayer is that God’s kingdom comes first. It does not start from this side. God’s kingdom comes first.

[ Work ]

Then the work of God’s kingdom is accomplished. This is prayer. So right now in this moment, when you pray and worship, if you hold the exact covenant, God’s kingdom is established. This is tremendously important. I spoke about it in the first service as well, but Joseph was dragged away in a state near death and sold. If at that moment Joseph had become discouraged, bitter, or fallen into great despair, the kingdom of darkness would have come. That too is an answer. But he was convinced that this was the path to fulfilling the dream of world evangelization. At that moment, God’s kingdom comes. The work comes later. So because people do not understand prayer well, they do not know what constitutes an answer, what to do, or what is happening. When Joseph was sold to Potiphar’s house, he had already become convinced that he would show God’s testimony there. That was God’s kingdom coming. It comes at that moment. And after that, many blessings and works followed in that house. So because we do not understand these things well, we end up not knowing what prayer is. When you worship, when you hold the covenant precisely, tremendous things happen. What kind of things happen?

[ Heaven, earth, sea, and the nations will be shaken ]

God said it: “I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.” Six times: “declares the Lord Almighty.”

“Prepare My Future” (Haggai 2:1-9)

My future must be inside this. If I prepare my future inside this, it is certain. It does not matter whether the answer comes or not, or when it comes. My future must be placed inside this. Let me give you a few pieces of evidence.

▣ Introduction

1. Egypt — Joseph, Moses

These things happened in Egypt. The shaking of heaven and earth and sea and the nations happened to Joseph. Simply put, world evangelization happened. And this happened to Moses as well.

2. The wilderness

And it happened in the wilderness. Astonishing things happened in the wilderness that stunned the whole world. God made it happen. He parted the Red Sea, parted the Jordan, brought down Jericho, and made the whole world stand in amazement.

3. The Philistine age

It happened in the Philistine age. It happened through two people, Samuel and David. As you know, when the Philistines went to attack Israel, He sent thunder and blocked them all. And when Goliath came to attack, David took Goliath down in one blow. This was not just an ordinary event. The events that happened in the wilderness were transmitted throughout the whole world. They reached the seven tribes living in the land of Canaan. Their hearts melted in fear. The news spread throughout the whole world. Though it may look like you are suffering, the evidence of it is that it causes the forces of darkness to tremble.

4. Aram — Elijah, Elisha, Obadiah

This event was not ordinary. It happened when the nation of Aram came to oppress Israel. It happened through three people, I tell you. Through Elijah and Elisha, and through the church leader Obadiah who supported them — three people — the shaking of heaven and earth and sea and the nations truly happened. I am giving you evidence right now. It happened in Babylon. I am telling you, this kind of thing already happened in these earlier times.

▣ Main

So then, how and why did the shaking of heaven and earth and sea and the nations happen? We need to grab hold of something very important.

1. Being within the fulfillment of the Word

The first one. Being within the fulfillment of the Word. A few people did this.

[ Building a life ]

Within the fulfillment of the Word, I must first build my life.

[ The bartizan of the throne ]

Within the fulfillment of the Word, the bartizan of the throne stands in my life.

1) Daniel

It was only a few people. Before this happened in Babylon, God had already been working through Daniel. The Word had already been fulfilled. That is how it connects. Build your life within the fulfillment of the Word. Right? Certainly.

I may not know many other things, but I took it as my mission that we must properly do the evangelism movement. So I viewed everything through that lens. Now there are many elders with that kind of prayer background, and I am so grateful. Back then, there were none. The congregation was very small and so on, so there was nothing to be done. But it was not “I will do great things here.” We need to do the evangelism movement God wants. That is why from the very beginning I looked for a large piece of land. Why? Because it had to be done. Many people introduced small pieces of land in various places, but as far as the elders and congregation members doing the work, I had no objections. So we bought one. But in my view, the church leaders had worked hard to buy it, and there was nothing wrong with that, but from my perspective it looked like at most you could build an outhouse, not a church. So in the end, we now have land that can also accommodate lodging and where children can gather to spend the three-day weekend age. We have claimed that land. If you are within the Word being testified and fulfilled, heaven and earth and sea and the nations are bound to be shaken. Right? Not according to my own will, but within the fulfillment of God’s Word. Then we, as you all know, it is not that we are trying to succeed. Being children of God is the success — what more do we need? Build your life within the fulfillment of the Word. Heaven and earth and sea and the nations have no choice but to be shaken.

2) The three young men

Look here. The three young men did this, I tell you. Even while knowing they might die. The point is, that was not the issue. These were people who knew the answer to “Why did our nation fall?” And “Why were we taken captive?” “But then why did God raise us to high positions?” They perceived it. “Whether we live or die is not the issue. God’s Word is telling us to show testimony before Babylon and the king.” They built their lives within that. History happened. For me it is not a miracle; it is expected.

3) Esther

Esther did exactly the same thing.

4) King Cyrus

One day King Cyrus conquered those lands and told Israel to return home. A remarkable thing happened. All of this is the fulfillment of the Word, prophesied. We must always remember. Immanuel Changwon Church has already been reformed and called by God to bring life to the Gyeongnam region. Right? We need to make it so that everyone in Gyeongnam hears the gospel. Do you understand?

2. Restoration of the temple

The second one. What do we need to be inside of? Complete restoration of the lost temple. This is staking my life within it. Let us together build our lives inside this.

1) The Holy of Holies

Here is the Holy of Holies where the ark of the covenant is kept. There is the Holy of Holies symbolizing God.

2) The sanctuary

Everything that symbolizes Christ is what the sanctuary contains. There is such a sanctuary. The oil, the lampstand, whatever you wash with as you enter — all of it symbolizes Christ.

3) The courtyard of prayer

Here is the courtyard of prayer where the 24 fire is lit.

4) The children’s courtyard

There is the children’s courtyard where children come and receive spiritual strength.

5) The courtyard of the Gentiles

At this point, God had already commanded the courtyard of the Gentiles to save the world. Rebuild this quickly. So that is the content of today’s message. That is why heaven and earth and sea and the nations cannot help but be shaken. It goes even beyond that.

3. Building the future

Here, important future-building is contained. Do you know what?

1) The incarnation

Liberation comes, and this is the schedule on which Christ comes through the incarnation.

2) The early church

At this time the early church is born. Coming forth.

3) The Paul team

At this time God forms Paul teams for the gospel movement — teams like Immanuel Changwon Church. All of this is included in the journey right now. It cannot help but happen. “I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the nations. Declares the Lord Almighty.” You must hold this covenant firmly.

▣ Conclusion — Preparing the vessel

So from now on, having received this blessing, what must we do? We must prepare the vessel. There is no need to do anything else. We must prepare the vessel.

[1] 300 places in this region

I will draw a box around this since it is important. Spread the Word movement so that everyone in this region can hear it. In the beginning I spread it to 300 places. No church building, did not matter. I spread the Word movement to 300 places. What was the standard? The people in our neighborhood first needed to hear the Word. They needed to hear the gospel at least once. Now there are many systems, but back then there were no systems. I went to a newspaper office, I tell you. Not a newspaper office, actually. A newspaper distribution branch, you know. A branch in Yeongdo that distributed newspapers. Everyone read the newspaper back then. I sent 13 questions to the people living in Yeongdo. They were inserted into the newspaper and went into every home. That is how the Word movement began. Exactly three years later, a thousand disciples arose. It had absolutely nothing to do with my own strength. The power of the Word is this great. Start with this first.

[2] Gyeongnam — 1,000 bartizans

Establish 1,000 bartizans in the Gyeongnam region. Just pray this prayer. There is nothing else to do. “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness.” Everything is already there.

[3] 3 courtyards

Prepare the three courtyards that contain my life, my memorial, and my future. First and foremost because it is what God wants — the three courtyards. It must become my memorial. I need to have a future. And keep praying. If you keep praying, the answer comes. In some ways you do not even need to learn from other people. Just keep praying directly and the answer comes.

[4] The three-day weekend — concentration

On this land, truly open the three-day weekend age that brings life to the people. What will you do? There is no need to think about that. Why? Because Remnant right now do not even know how to pray. They need to, do they not? There are many sick people right now, many without strength. These people need to find strength, do they not? There is no need to ask what you will do. Asking that would be strange. Simply put, practice the concentration that Christ modeled. Christ was crucified on Friday and rose on Sunday. This is not just ordinary talk. Open this here.

[5] The holy meditation age

In the end, because the age of mental illness has come, we must go out armed. Especially our Remnant must go out armed. What do we arm ourselves with? The holy meditation age. We go out having prepared the holy meditation age that heals the world. God has no choice but to answer. So heaven and earth and sea and the nations will be shaken. God is saying He will do that. Simply put, He is saying He will accomplish world evangelization. What would He shake heaven and earth and sea for? He is saying He will accomplish world evangelization. If heaven shakes, earth shakes, sea shakes — what happens? The whole world knows. He will bring about this astonishing history.

So even now you must be in prayer. So to what degree must we change ourselves and how must we teach the Remnant? When something happens, they do not know prayer. So they live according to their own thinking. Limits will certainly come. Not only do limits come, but things do not go well. Because it is according to my own thinking. And people who do have some faith, when a problem comes they pray. That is better than nothing, but that is not enough. You must see the problem from within prayer. It is not praying when a problem comes; you must see the problem from within prayer. Do you know what Remnant’s problem is? Prayer separately, study separately. Then it becomes too hard to live. You must study within the power of prayer. That is the difference of one sheet of paper.

Joseph did not pray because things were too hard. Joseph already had the secret of prayer. He set out with this. Whatever he encountered, it was fine. This is what is important. Worshipping ordinarily and worshipping from within deep prayer are completely different throughout the whole day. Then something tremendous comes out of it. You must be doing this even now.

[ Two lifelines ]

You must hold on to them. Prayer. And slow breathing that allows you to recover all your health. Two lifelines. Do not make it complicated; simply breathe in a way that enables prayer. Let me give a simple example. When you look out at a beautiful landscape or environment, your breathing becomes peaceful. Right? Even just looking at the distant sky and the horizon makes you peaceful. When you are very angry, you cannot breathe peacefully. There is a tremendous difference. So those two simply need to be connected together into prayer. I have expressed it this way: there are only two things I can do at will. Thinking. I do that at my own will. I turn this into prayer. There is one more thing I can do at will. Breathing. Apart from those two, there is nothing else I can do at my own will. So I am saying I will give my prayer and my breathing to God. Slowly.

So in the mornings when you open your eyes, you must always do this. Especially our elders need to be healthy, so when you open your eyes in the morning, you must unconditionally move about peacefully. We do not have time to go off to a corner somewhere to pray. While moving about, breathe long and deep. When you sleep with your mouth open, your mouth and lungs are already greatly damaged. They need to recover. Your brain cells are frighteningly breaking down. They need to recover. By praying in the morning. No need to set a fixed time. Just continuously. Even now when I interpret, I breathe in deeply. When it is finished, slowly. It is tremendously helpful to your health in spirit and body. That is morning prayer.

Then what kind of prayer do we do during the day? Conversational prayer. Conversational prayer about everything you see and hear with God. Not speaking out loud. It is a heart-to-heart conversation between God and me. Right? It becomes tremendous. You become peaceful.

Then that is done and now it is evening. In the evening you are making a masterpiece. Making what? You make 300%. Making 300% is much easier. What does 300% mean? On the day I graduated from seminary, I prayed to God. This is not a trash bin — why are there so many seminary students? There are many. But why are churches declining? America is funny that way. There are an enormous number of seminaries. Yet churches are declining. Where is there such a strange thing? So I began preparing for evangelism. I read every single book on evangelism — and they were not the answer. The answer came from here (the Bible). This is 100%, I tell you. So how good is that? Other people, being in good circumstances, go out to play, go to spend money, go abroad. Already doing that as students. I was not in those kinds of circumstances. But that is not a sad thing. Right? Where did I go? I went to the field. Every day. I saw many things. That is field 100%. Then what needs to happen from here? So I prepared a system capable of world evangelization for that purpose. That is 300%.

From the moment I took on the church, it feels like 40 years have passed in about four months. God has opened the doors of the world and now people of many ethnicities are beginning to pour in. 300% is much easier, I tell you. Prayer also 300%. In the morning you recover. During the day you confirm. At night you find answers. Right? How comfortable and good is that? Especially because of this, our church leaders need spiritual strength and health. Only then can world evangelization happen.

“I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the nations.” I have said it multiple times. “Declares the Lord Almighty.” Let us pray.

Prayer. Thank you, God. Let us recover what God has given us. Let us be within the fulfillment of the Word, let us be within the sanctuary construction that saves the church, and let my life be in the place of building the future. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

「I Am Doing a New Thing」
(Is 43:18-19)

▣ Introduction

1. World churches are closing their doors, but 237-5,000 ethnic groups are still waiting for the gospel.

By now our missions conference has almost concluded and everyone has returned to their respective countries. Right now churches in America are closing their doors. In Europe, it has been going on for a long time. 237-5,000 ethnic groups are waiting for the gospel. What should we do at a time like this?

2. The greatest gift parents can give their children is the power of prayer that enables them to survive in any environment.

Today you need to take with you something that gives you certain answers to experience. Also, today is Children’s Sunday and Parents’ Sunday. That too is important, but we must receive answers in order to be able to show filial devotion. The greatest education parents can give their children is to make them people who can pray. They are going out to be defeated in the world. No matter where they are, they need the strength to survive on their own.

3. The Word given to Israel in despair

Israel has now fallen into despair. When you fall into complete despair, what do you do? It is completely beyond comprehension… The temple has been destroyed and Israel has been taken captive. This is the situation they have encountered. At this time God gave them an important answer for receiving answers. There are parts that need to be understood first.

1) Do not remember the former things or ponder the things of old.

“Do not remember the former things. Do not ponder the things of old.” Is that possible?

(1) A person stuck in the past

A person stuck in the past absolutely cannot succeed. They cannot receive answers either. Right? For some reason — it is not even embarrassing — couples who fight so much appear on TV to try to resolve it. They must have been desperately frustrated to come out. From my perspective, these people are hopeless in two ways. Both of them say the exact same thing. “I have done nothing wrong; my husband is the problem.” The husband says, “No, that one is the one who is wrong.” This keeps going. And there is another characteristic: they are completely trapped in the past, constantly bringing up old things. I am confident that when those people go home, they will fight again.

(2) A person with mental problems

When you actually see a person with mental problems, they are completely gripped by the past, telling the same story over and over, trapped in it. So “Do not remember the former things. Do not ponder the things of old.” But is this possible? We stop remembering old things and stop thinking about them? Is that possible? Because this is not possible, many people fall into wounds. Many people fall into limitations. Some even have spiritual problems come. Some people, having been so wounded, have children who are in conflict.

But today an important Word has come out. It does not mean you should be unable to remember the past or should not think about old things. It gave the answer right after that.

2) I will do a new thing.

“I will do a new thing.” Right? You must remember this. A person who holds on to the new thing God is doing can overcome the past, the former things. This is extremely important. A person who does the new thing God is doing — no matter how much of a problem the past and former things become, it is fine. In fact, those things become a springboard. Right? “I will do a new thing.” What new thing will He do? “I will make a way in the wilderness. I will make streams in the wasteland.”

3) I will make a way in the wilderness. I will make streams in the wasteland.

Tremendous. It means He will completely bring life. “I will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Because this is a sure covenant, do not think about the past. Do not remember the former things. This is what it means. This is tremendously important for us.

▣ Main — 5 sure covenants

How can we receive this blessing, what must we do to receive it? Today you simply need to hold five sure covenants.

1. You must know what true prayer is.

This is the first one from Isaiah. A person who knows what true prayer is can receive this blessing. What is prayer?

1) Isaiah saw the God seated on the throne and the heavenly hosts in the midst of prayer (Isaiah 6).

In Isaiah chapter 6, God appeared to Isaiah from within the throne. The angels were flying up and flapping their wings and so on. At that time God said, “Whom shall I send?” And he said, “Send me.” God said no. He said He would leave a stump. That part is right, but that is not what is important actually. That is God’s plan. When did this begin? This is the part that began while Isaiah was praying.

2) Prayer connects to the throne.

Your prayers are imprinted firmly on the throne. Right? That is prayer. When John the apostle looked, all your prayers are carried before the throne. They are placed in that bowl. The angel does all the errand work. This is prayer. Your prayer connects with the throne. When you hold the covenant today, God’s kingdom comes. Right? Then the work of God’s kingdom is accomplished — I explained that today. “Rather than you, I will raise up Remnant.” Right? “That is the holy seed.” When you hold the covenant today, if you know what prayer is, history will certainly happen. You must know what prayer is. There are many people who do not know what prayer is.

I spoke about it this morning. When King Saul was thinking about how to kill David, that is where the kingdom of Satan came. This is important. Right? David, hiding and running to the very end, said, “Because the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” At that moment God’s kingdom comes. Right? You must know the fact that your prayers connect with the throne. Then a way will be made in the wilderness and streams will flow in the wasteland. You must hold on to this absolutely today. Why do we worship? What is an answer? During the time of worship, God’s kingdom comes from the throne.

3) During the time of worship, God’s kingdom comes.

If you do not know this, pray your whole life — however much you pray, you will not know. What you see with your eyes later is the result. It means the work of God’s kingdom has been accomplished. And so worship is important. When Joseph was being dragged away as a slave, what did he pray? “This is not going to slavery. This is the path of world mission.” Right? That is where God’s kingdom comes. So Satan is still alive today and always follows around. When King Saul kept trying to kill David, an evil spirit came upon him. The Lord seated on the throne appeared to Isaiah. If you know what prayer is, history will certainly happen.

4) What you see with your eyes comes a little while later.

What you see with your eyes — that comes a bit later. That is not what is important. Right now, in the moment you are worshipping, in the moment you are holding the covenant, when you pray, God’s kingdom comes. At that moment the errands of the Lord’s angels start going out. Unbelievers do not know and cannot believe it. Our life is in heaven. Right? Enjoying that heavenly throne is prayer. God showed this to Isaiah first.

2. You must know the gospel that breaks the power of darkness and reverses destiny.

The second one. You must know the gospel that binds the darkness and reverses destiny. What came forth at this time?

1) Isaiah 7:14

In Isaiah 7:14: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”

2) Isaiah 8:3

It came up again in chapter 8, verse 3. What is this saying? It is speaking of the astonishing message that completely shatters the darkness and reverses destiny.

3) Genesis 3:15

In Genesis 3:15: “The offspring of the woman will crush the head of the serpent.” This is no ordinary statement. It means that Jesus Christ will break the authority of Satan. Then destiny is turned upside down.

4) John 1:12

“To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” It is speaking of that blessing.

5) Exodus 3:18

The day the blood of the lamb was applied, they were set free. Right? The gospel is tremendous.

If you know what prayer is, and what the power of the gospel is, a way will be made in the wilderness and streams will flow in the wasteland. You must hold on to this and go.

3. You must hold on to the power of the Word.

The third one. It is when the Word comes.

1) The Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah

“The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time.” That is the end of it, right?

2) The word of God came to Moses

“The word of God came to Moses.”

3) The word of Galatians 3:28 came to Lincoln

There are many leaders here who will serve our region — city council candidates and the like — attending worship, and the word of God came to Lincoln. Right? The word of God in Galatians 3:28 came. And so he came out with the emancipation of Black slaves.

4) The word of Isaiah 40

What does Isaiah 40 say? You need to hold this covenant and go. Only then does history happen. “Go up to a high mountain and proclaim.” What to proclaim?

(1) Isaiah 40:8

“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but proclaim that the word of the Lord stands forever.”

(2) Isaiah 40:18-20

“Is what was made by hands a god?” It appears in Isaiah 40. “People make something and bow to it — is that a god? Some make it large, some make it of gold — what kind of god is that?”

(3) Isaiah 40:27

And then what did he say? “Why do you complain, Jacob? Why do you say, Israel?” What is it? “Why is my way hidden from God? Why does God not hear my complaint?”

(4) Isaiah 40:28-31

In Isaiah 40:28: “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The everlasting Lord God, who rules to the ends of the earth, does not grow tired or weary. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and stumble and young men fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.”

No other strength can save us. We must remember this. You must know what prayer is. You must know what the gospel power is that reverses destiny. That is Immanuel. Once you know that, the Word comes. The Word is the eternal, living Word. That is what was explained today in Isaiah.

4. Arise and shine — evangelism and mission

What is next? The fourth thing comes out. You must know what the light is.

1) Arise, shine

“Arise, shine.” That is what evangelism and mission is. “Arise and shine.”

2) The glorious light of the Lord

More importantly: “The glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

3) Your children will return.

“Just shine this light and your children from the nations will return to you. Your daughters from distant lands will return. They will come bearing silver and gold.” It speaks of complete restoration. Light.

In some ways, even if busy people do not go out to evangelize, the door of evangelism opens. Right? If you know you are light. Then those who are in darkness will see the light and come.

I once said something pretty pointed to a military chaplain I was close to. “Just what are you doing as a chaplain?” I asked. Because we were close I could ask. “Hey, do you not know the gospel for the soldiers committing suicide in the military?” Those foolish things. Why would a soldier commit suicide just for doing something wrong in the military? Why would someone commit suicide just because someone is bullying them? No. This person has been tormented by spiritual problems even before going to the military and cannot endure it. The fact that there is no chaplain or military minister who can help them — that is the truly sad thing. Right?

Arise and shine. It is simple. Normal working people at the office, going around making noise and doing evangelism? No need to do that. One day, people will come knowing who you are. Right? Because light saves people. That is when you can speak to them. “Arise, shine. Those in darkness will return.” If you hold this covenant, a way will be made in the wilderness. Streams will flow in the wasteland. Right?

5. You must know the mission of the watchman.

One more last thing to know. Who are you? That is the question. You are watchmen. You must know that and go. A watchman is someone who keeps watch 24 hours.

1) One who does not give the Lord rest

“Do not give the Lord any rest, day or night.” That is a watchman.

2) One who opens the highway

“Open the highway.” There needs to be a highway for traffic to come.

3) One who raises a banner for all peoples

“Raise a banner for all peoples.”

These are the five. Those who understood these words are the ones who came forth. Right?

▣ Conclusion

When Isaiah spoke these words, most people cursed Isaiah. Some even killed Isaiah. Such spiritually ignorant people exist. Who held this prophecy of Isaiah as a covenant? You know.

1. Daniel

In Babylon, Daniel.

1) He held this covenant and made a resolution.

Daniel held it and made his resolution. What happened? A way was truly made in the wilderness and streams flowed in the wasteland. Right?

2) Three kings bowed to Daniel.

Three kings bowed to Daniel. Right? King Nebuchadnezzar. King Belshazzar. King Darius. Those kings even praised the Lord and exalted Daniel. Why? Because he held the covenant. Remember this.

When a desperate problem comes, you must know what prayer is — prayer that moves the throne. Prayer is the place where God’s kingdom comes first. Right? The kingdom where the Lord seated on the throne sends his angels and messengers to run errands comes first. And then what? You must truly know the gospel that reverses destiny and shatters the darkness. After that the Word comes. Right? After that, what? Now you shine the light. And so He established you as watchmen. New congregation members are watchmen who save their family lines. Missionaries are watchmen who save nations. Right? That is how they were established. But everyone missed this covenant.

2. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

There were those who held it. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Right? This is the prophecy about Babylon, I tell you.

1) High positions

As you know, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were placed in high positions. They did not think they had succeeded. They knew the reason. “We are captives right now. This is not success. I am now seated in a high position. This is not luck.” They had to see it correctly. There is the work of God that I must do here. Here is the covenant, as prophesied, to make a way in the wilderness and make water flow through the wasteland.

2) They did not bow before the idol temple.

At that time, they made an idol temple and had all the senior officials bow to it. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego naturally refused. So it showed. The king summoned them. “Why did you not?” Because they were such outstanding individuals, the king said, “I will give you one chance.” “I will give you one chance, so bow just once. When you hear the sound of the trumpet, hear it and bow.” At that moment they answered: “Your Majesty, we do not need to give an answer to what you are saying.” That is what they said. “The Lord will rescue us.” And then they said an even more fearsome thing afterward. “Even if the Lord does not rescue us.” So imagine how insulted the king felt. So he threw them into the fire. He threw three people in, but four were moving around inside. The one — a messenger of the Lord sent from the throne — was protecting them. When he saw this, what did he say?

3) The king was moved and made a way in the wilderness so that people could be saved, and streams in the wasteland.

The king was moved. A way in the wilderness — a way in the wilderness so all the world could go. Streams in the wasteland so people could be saved.

You are the ones who receive this answer, I tell you. Right? You must hold it firmly. You must first know what prayer is. So you must know what the gospel is. Without the gospel, darkness cannot be changed. So Daniel — you all know. Daniel was the one who held this covenant firmly, and Esther was one who held it. A few people. The numbers need not be many. A few people held the covenant. They opened a highway in Babylon. Right? Through that Babylon they made streams flow in the wasteland so that many people could receive life. This must actually become visible to you.

Today Seoul, Ulsan, and Changwon are all worshipping together. Distance does not matter. You must hold the covenant properly. Parents’ Sunday, Children’s Sunday — those are not so important. If I am told to write a birthday, I write it. Some date. I do not know if I am coming or going. Is it that important? Right when I came to this church it was 1987, I think. Very few congregation members. It must have been my birthday. They had a test of faith among themselves. So I told my wife at home: why did you tell them about my birthday like that? And I said: never do a birthday again. That sort of thing is not necessary. I have kept that promise to this day. Nothing needed. A while back, someone said “Let’s do a seventieth birthday.” That sort of thing is not necessary. What is so important about it? Women seem to think it is very important. It is not very important. We need to be set free. Right?

Right now people are dying quickly; we need to make a way in the wilderness. People are dying in the wasteland; we need to make streams flow right now. I ask that you hold the covenant firmly. If just one person holds it, answers keep coming for a lifetime. Right? When I was young, something was imprinted on me. “Why is my father always so sick?” That was imprinted on me. “That is not how it should be.” Right? And why are people always suffering because of money like that? Cannot even do evangelism. That is not right. I thought it was wrong. And the answers to that have kept coming ever since. It is not difficult, is it? I will make a way in the wilderness, make streams flow in the wasteland. It is God’s promise. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, let us go to the field today with important answers. Let us go to our families. Let us open a way through the blocked wilderness of the whole world. Let the water of life flow to those dying in the wasteland. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

「Spiritual Surgery that Heals the World」(Ac 19:8-20)

This is the first time that Immanuel Church in Korea and New Life Church currently in Hong Kong and the whole world are worshiping together. Because the whole world is watching, the praise that was sung earlier was world-class praise. People are mostly ignorant of the gospel, and because they are also ignorant of prayer, they miss it. Why did Jesus speak this way?

Matthew 6:10, 32-33, Acts 1:3, Acts 19:8
When they asked to be taught prayer, He taught: “Pray for the kingdom of God to come.” That is Matthew 6:10. In verses 32 and 33 He spoke this way even further. Like someone who has not received salvation, “Do not say give me this, give me that.” He said that. “God knows all,” He said. “Pray this way (verse 33). Seek His kingdom and His righteousness and you can receive everything.” And then at His last pulpit, Jesus explained for 40 days about the works of the kingdom of God. In the text we read today, it says He explained boldly about the kingdom of God. Very important things come out from here. Between prayer and answered prayer there is a little difference. A time difference.

[Bartizan, Journey, Guidepost]
When you worship and pray and the covenant is right, this (bartizan, journey, guidepost) is completely formed within us. This is being formed within us even now during prayer. This is the true answered prayer that comes first.

[What becomes]
After that, what comes about through God’s work is the answered prayer. We fill ourselves with God’s things and direct this prayer toward God. Answered prayer comes accordingly. Those who know this pray at fixed times. Those who know this pray 24. Because this is the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne, the power is immense — it is the power by which world evangelization is possible. Apart from this, world evangelization cannot be done. And so Jesus said it is “only.”

Spiritual Surgery That Heals the World
So what was today’s title? Spiritual surgery that heals the world. Now this is something different from the above. We continue this prayer and there are times when we gather in a special way.

[Acts 1:3, 1:14, 2:1-4, 17:1-2, 2 years]
That is Acts 1:3. They kept praying for 40 days. What would happen? If you prayed for 40 days doing nothing else — what would happen? Even without trying to heal, healing would occur. Then holding that covenant they came down and prayed earnestly for ten days. It was a complete surgery. And then in Acts 2:1-4 a power like wind and fire appeared. And even before Paul said this, he had many important schedules. Even when he went to Thessalonica, he concentrated for three Sabbaths. Today Paul’s team concentrated for three months and a complete transforming work occurred. And then for two years he spread the Word movement. So demons were cast out, the sick were healed, and remarkable things happened. This kind of time is necessary. Why must it be this way?

▣ Introduction

1. Foundational Power
To do world evangelization, foundational power is needed. It cannot be done with other power. Foundational power is needed. Because the power of the throne and this answered prayer have completely come upon me, foundational power cannot help but arise.

2. Foundational Healing
From this point, foundational healing takes place. Because the root is fixed and fundamental power arises, everything else follows.

3. Foundational Ministry
Paul had this power and did ministry with a foundational mission. Since Paul had this power, he said “other things are not needed.” “I graduated from the top Jewish school but that won’t do,” he said. Even having been trained under Gamaliel, the foremost leader, “that won’t do,” he said. On the contrary, because of that he had become arrogant and suffered even greater loss. It is not bad for us to study a great deal. It is good. But with that, world evangelization cannot be done. Spiritual things cannot be done. So the more one advances, the less spiritual knowledge there is, and therefore the less spiritual power there is.

▣ Main_ 1,000 Bartizans
Is establishing 1,000 bartizans an easy thing? How does one establish them? Paul received three things of answered prayer. At Tyrannus a complete work occurred — and this was even greater than 1,000 bartizans.

1. [8] Spiritual Movement
It says in verse 8 that he “explained boldly about the kingdom of God.” Simply put, he conducted a spiritual movement. There is a second thing to look at carefully.

2. [Separately] Disciple Movement
He “set apart the disciples.” This word is also important. He conducted a complete disciple movement. If you find the right disciples, would only 1,000 bartizans arise?

3. [2 Years] Re-creation Movement
He did it for 2 years. What does this mean? A complete re-creating Word movement took place. So the sick arose. The movement for saving the world is a spiritual movement. A disciple movement for those who understood that word. What we do is not success. It is a re-creation movement. What we speak of is not the trivial matter of food, clothing, and shelter. It is a re-creation movement that changes the world. Because this part is missed, people don’t know well what answered prayer is. They don’t know what prayer and answered prayer are. In fact, they don’t really know the gospel either. The gospel is that in Christ this power (bartizan, journey, guidepost) is completely manifested. This must not be missed right now. Because it doesn’t work, too much time just passes by. That is why it is called spiritual surgery. They did it on Mt Olive for 40 days, but those people won’t do. Because they are already older and already imprinted. This must be completely overturned and changed. The painful part must simply be surgically removed. So a work occurred, and the ministry Paul did following that is what we read. So this must be remembered.

1. [8] Spiritual Movement
1) Bartizan of the throne within me
The bartizan of the throne must be established within me. And when the bartizan arises, the journey and guidepost naturally follow.

2) Place — Kingdom
In the place I go, the kingdom of God comes to be present. That is right?

3) Darkness — Works of the Kingdom
From that point darkness is broken. What is that? The works of the kingdom of God take place. Now. That is why we worship. If you worship carelessly on Sunday, you die. If you can’t have a successful Sunday worship — what will happen? That means you have grabbed hold of something else. That is the problem. Not knowing is one thing, but because they don’t know, because they don’t know this blessing, they are holding onto something else. So the church tries every possible thing to revive itself. Pitiful. It cannot work. Eventually everyone spiritually dies and all the doors close. And then it gets passed to others.

2. [7 Points] Disciple Movement
Here you come to meet the precious 7 points. That is right. You come to meet the disciple God has prepared. There is no use meeting a disciple God has not prepared.

1) Synagogue
So he went to the synagogue. To meet disciples.

2) School
After meeting disciples, he went completely into the school.

3) Field
And then for 2 years he spread the Word movement so that the Word would appear in every field. The work cannot help but take place. This power did not come upon me alone — it was transmitted.

3. [2 Years] Re-creation Movement
And so finally the re-creation work took place.

1) The Sick — The Incurably Ill
The sick, even the incurably ill — these people began to be healed. The power of the Word is fearsome.

2) Healing of Dark Culture
More importantly, the completely dark culture was healed — it came out there. The books of idol worship were all burned. That neighborhood had lived that way. What about now? America is completely immersed in the three-organization culture. It is the same. Go to Japan. The entire neighborhood is worshiping idols. Spiritual problems cannot help but come. The people doing missionary work in Japan have a great calling. We had the Asia conference and if you go to places like Taiwan — everything is idols. In places like China, forget idols — they completely prevent the gospel from entering. The place that is best in the world at analyzing how people move is China. China now has all the answers. People from other countries in Korea — they can’t do evangelism. Because they don’t do it. In China, the most dangerous adversary is the upper room. These people know we are having our missions conference and have already been investigating every single person who comes out. China will receive blessing. When the gospel enters China, China can save the world. That is right? China’s numbers are extraordinary. When the gospel fully enters China, the whole world will come alive. This (dark culture) will be healed. A re-creation work. You must believe.

3) Rome
Finally — I didn’t read all of it — but in verse 21 it says “I must also see Rome.” It connects this way. What does it mean? The 237-5,000 tribes will be saved.

▣ Conclusion

1. Acts 19:21
So the important remaining conclusion comes out. All the works happened, but that is not what is important. We must also see Rome. It is for doing this that Paul was now arrested.

2. Acts 23:1-11
This is chapter 23. So Paul was interrogated. He had no guilt yet they kept making it seem as if he did. At that point God said to Paul, “Be bold. You must testify in Rome also.” And so since at that time they were a subject nation of Rome, the final trial had to be held in Rome. Simply put, Paul had now appealed. So he had to go all the way to Rome.

3. Acts 27:10-24, 25
That is Acts 27:10-24. He was going to Rome to stand trial. There were 276 people on board. Apart from Paul, 270 people were on board. That ship would go all the way to Rome and stand trial before the emperor Caesar. Paul was a man of prayer. “It seems this ship will encounter a storm as it goes.” He said that. The intention was to take the schedule and other things into consideration, but nobody believed what he said. Everyone said “Let’s go to Phenice and rest.” Phenice seems to be a very good sightseeing location. They said “Let’s go there.” Paul said “It is dangerous now.” Now who could believe that word?

People believe what those possessed by demons say, but they don’t believe God’s Word. Strange, isn’t it? They don’t believe the Word of the Bible. If someone talks about some unusual fortune-telling, they believe that. Human psychology seems to be that way. I saw in the old days — there were crackers, you know. You cracked the cracker and something like “your zodiac sign is such and such today” was inside. Actually there is no need for zodiac signs. I am a tiger sign. Without even knowing it, my eye goes to tiger. People are like that, I tell you.

So Paul spoke, but nobody believed Paul’s word. So the official leading that ship was uneasy, having heard that word. The centurion named Julius — he was uneasy, so he asked the captain: “That person says they will meet a storm — will it be all right?” He said it would be fine. Still uneasy, this person asked the ship owner. Since the ship owner was the owner, he asked the owner. “Will it be all right?” He said it would be fine. So everyone headed toward Phenice and suddenly a storm arose. How strong were the waves that hit — they hit so strongly you couldn’t tell night from day. They say it continued for about 14 days — how terrible… that is death. Finally this ship began to sink. As it sank, people started crying out in anguish. Each would have their own religion, so they kept praying to it. No use. So that the ship would not sink further, at the captain’s order they threw out all the things inside. No use. Only one thing remained. Death. Only that remained.

At this point Paul, who should have been on the deck, went down below and prayed. “That night the angel of the Lord stood beside me and spoke.” He tells those people: “Paul, do not be afraid. You must stand before Caesar,” he said. “People, take courage.” He testified this, they heard it, and these people’s hearts became calm. Only then did they hear Paul’s word and feel calm. “Is that so.” At that point in verse 25, the waves became calm. This news will certainly have been transmitted to Rome. Unless Caesar was a fool, he would have received this report. The trial was over. Such immense things remain. You must absolutely know — at this time of prayer, at this time of worship — what happens.

Revelation 8:3-5
It reaches the throne. In the first service today what was seen — move the Lord day and night. This will certainly happen.

Matthew 6:10
And this happens. Not only is your prayer received at the throne, but from that point God does the remarkable work of establishing the kingdom. Eventually this happens.

Acts 1:3
The works of the kingdom of God are accomplished. Now. Those who have held onto the 7·7·7 bartizan, journey, guidepost — this happens during the time of worship. This happens during the time of praying alone. When I pray holding onto these 7·7·7, every single time I become so happy and earnest. Why? For you and me going through this land, what is most needed? The power of the throne. That is right. We are going through a difficult world — what strength do we go with? We must go by the journey of the throne. We cannot do world evangelization with what we have. Therefore it must be the guidepost of the throne. I do this prayer. So for me, praying at fixed times has never worked well. So I just start as soon as I open my eyes. Immediately. For several hours. I do this too, and when I open my eyes in the morning I start comfortably from whatever comes to mind and pray. So the prayer that revives strength and everything is done in the morning. Then during the day it is all confirming blessings, confirming answered prayers. And at night, since I need to prepare messages, the night time is also important. It is a time of completely obtaining answers. A time of completely making 300%. That is how it comes out.

I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that day by day you will have increasingly strong power and do world evangelization. Let us pray.

Prayer
Thank You, Lord. Please work on the servants in Asia and throughout the whole world. Let the work of creating not a simple prayer but the background of the spiritual throne take place. Even in this time, send the angel of the Lord that was sent to Paul, and let the Word and power of God be transmitted. Let us gain even greater strength in the remaining time, and let us be the Lord’s people who see God’s grace during the six days. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

「The Watchman Prayer」
(Is 62:6-12)

▣ Introduction_ The Watchman’s Prayer

We are currently holding the world community worship service with Hong Kong as the host. We must hold onto the covenant of receiving answers. We have finished the missions conference — what covenant of receiving answers should we hold onto?

1. The Watchman’s Prayer The watchman’s prayer. A watchman is a person who guards the city.

1) New members — watchmen who save the family line There will be new members here. “I am a watchman who saves the family line.”

2) Church leaders — watchmen who save the region Our church leaders: “I am a watchman who saves the region.” And so the seventy were appointed.

3) Ministers — watchmen who establish 1,000 bartizans Our ministers: “I am a watchman who establishes 1,000 bartizans.”

4) Pastors, missionaries — watchmen who save the world And the many missionary pastors: “I am a watchman who saves the world.” This kind of prayer must begin.

2. The watchman — a person who does 24, a person who waits for 25, a person who leaves behind eternal things A watchman is a person who does 24. A watchman is a person who waits for 25. A watchman is a watchman who leaves behind eternal things.
3. A watchman must have a bartizan of power. It is to save those who are on the journey, and to erect a monument to the one who made the guidepost. So a watchman must have a bartizan of power. A watchman does not stand alone on the road — there must be a bartizan. And so this watchman saves those who are on the journey. This is a watchman who erects a monument to the one who made the guidepost.

▣ Main_ The Watchman’s Mission

So then, can I really do this? This is what must first be confirmed. Can I really establish 1,000 bartizans? It sounds like a dream… There is that distance, you see. What must be done? When I came to Yeongdo at the end of 1987, I came having prepared to do world evangelization, but looking at our church it was absolutely impossible. I received grace through that very thing. When I visited the churches in Seoul, there were many outstanding people. Some congregations had as many as ten celebrities among their members. Some churches had conglomerates. But when I came to Yeongdo, none of that was there. I realized something profound. “That’s right! I am doing what is in the Bible completely. Not what conglomerates do, not what celebrities do, but what is in the Bible.” It is fine even if there is no one. Even if there is no church building, it is fine. Simultaneously we spread the Word movement to hundreds of places. In just three years, 1,000 bartizans were established. So that answer must first come out.

Can I do this, truly. Can I save the family line, that is the question. How, though I am a church leader, can I save an entire region? How, though I have been sent out as a missionary, can I establish 1,000 bartizans? “I have no answered prayers in my life of faith.” Is there anyone who thinks this way? What must be done? You must hold onto it.

1. The watchman who receives and delivers the covenant given by the Sovereign First. There must be a covenant given by the Sovereign, the Ruler. This watchman is not just any watchman. It is standing as a watchman having received the command handed down by the king. This is not merely a person who guards a house. This is a watchman who receives, delivers, and keeps that covenant that has come down from above. What exactly is that?

1) Isaiah 6:1-13 God seated on the throne — raise up the Remnant. In Isaiah chapter 6, God appeared to Isaiah. God seated on the throne appeared. Beside Him the angels were beating their wings and praising — that is what the text says. At that time God spoke words. “Raise up the Remnant.” That is right. This nation has utterly fallen. “It will fall further, so do not worry — raise up the Remnant.” In our Korean translation it reads as “stump,” and that is where I found this word.

2) Isaiah 7:14 Immanuel is coming. And He said something even more important. “One is coming whose name shall be called Immanuel.” Immanuel is coming, that is right. That is Isaiah 7:14.

3) Isaiah 40:6-31 The eternal word of the Lord, those who wait upon the Lord And He gave evidence. “Go up to the high mountain and speak. So that all may hear. Go up on the rooftop and speak. So that all may hear. Say that I, the Lord, my word shall stand forever. Are the idols you have made God?” And then what does He say? “Those who wait upon the Lord shall rise up with wings like eagles.” He gave a covenant.

4) Isaiah 43:18-21 I will do a new thing. And what did He say? In Isaiah chapter 43: “Do not remember the former things. Do not think about the things of old.” How can one not think of them? There is only one way. “I will do a new thing.” And then what? “A road will appear in the wilderness. A river will flow in the desert.” He gave an extraordinary covenant.

5) Isaiah 60:1-22 Arise and shine. And then: “Arise and shine. The light of the glory of the Lord has come upon you. The nations shall return. Your sons and daughters shall return bearing silver and gold.” This is the watchman. You understand what this means. You are not just anyone — do not do anything else. Only a watchman who delivers the flow of God’s Word. A watchman who hears God’s Word and delivers it. A watchman who hears the king’s words and delivers them to the people. It is simple. When God’s power comes, there is no telling what will happen. When God works, even when you have fallen it becomes a blessing. That is right? You must hold onto this firmly.

2. The watchman of prayer who moves the throne — do not let the Lord rest day or night (He is with you). Second. The watchman who moves the throne. When this watchman speaks, even the king must listen. The watchman who moves the throne — what does that mean? “Do not let the Lord rest day or night.” As though putting the Lord to work: “Do not let Him rest.” You as watchmen move the throne. That is right? What kind of watchman does one become? A watchman who receives the covenant and delivers it. The second thing is being a person of prayer who moves the throne. “Do not let the Lord rest day or night” — this means He is with you day and night. When you do 24, the five powers are restored.

1) 24 — the five powers and authority are restored. You see a bartizan that others cannot see. When you do 24, authority is restored. When you pray 24, you come to see a bartizan that others absolutely cannot see. When the elders are doing business, they come to see what others cannot see. Joseph was like that. Because he did 24. That is the watchman being spoken of. To put it simply, plainly — it means the watchman of the Word, the watchman of prayer. That is the second one. That is right?

2) 25 — the work of the throne becomes visible, the kingdom of God is achieved before you go, after it moves the work of the kingdom of God takes place. When you know 25, the work of the throne becomes visible. The kingdom of God is certainly established before you go. After you move, the work of the kingdom of God takes place. This is the prayer that moves the throne.

3) Eternity — a monument remains. If you find the answer called eternity, a monument remains. You must remember this. Hong Kong is difficult? That is not so. Africa cannot be done? That is not so. When God works through the power of the throne, it surpasses human strength.

3. The watchman who holds the secret that moves the world — if you have this power, you move world evangelization. Third. One who holds the secret that moves the world. That secret must be there. What is the secret that moves the world? It was stated simply.

1) Prepare the highway — the three courtyards, the three-day weekend age, the holy meditation age “Prepare the highway.” That is right. The one who holds this secret power will do world evangelization and will move it. This is the watchman’s mission. It must not be missed. What is the highway? We make the three courtyards where people of many ethnicities can come, the sick can come, and the next generation can come. When do we do this? It must be done during the three-day weekend. And the whole world is dying from mental illness. Open the holy meditation age, make people who can pray, and send them out.

2) For all peoples — the power to save 237, 5,000 tribes, TCK And what else? “Lift up a banner for all peoples.” That is the highway. Who are all peoples? It means the power to save 237 nations. It means this power to save 5,000 tribes. It means the power to save TCK. That is all peoples. Looking at Hong Kong, starting with Blessing there are many remarkable people. Those young adults will save TCK and NCK. God promised that.

3) Lift up a banner — plant the banner of Christ that will bring down the forces of darkness. Make all peoples come. “For all peoples” — do what? “Lift up a banner.” What is this banner? It speaks of the banner of victory. It speaks of the banner of Christ. In the old days when Rome was conquering the world, after conquering a place they would do one of two things. They would send a leader from Rome to govern it. Or if there was someone who understood, they would establish a local leader from within. When establishing, there was something they did. They would place the Roman banner right at the very top. From that day they had to be under Roman rule. Rome — that is how it conquered the world. We are not speaking of that. Plant the banner of Christ that will bring down the forces of darkness. Make all peoples come. Plant the banner of Christ there. You must know that you already all have it.

※ When we believe this covenant, when we believe and pray, history is made. So before enjoying this covenant, you must believe. Change happens when you believe. “Wow — this is really true.” When you believe, history happens. When you believe and pray, when you pray day and night, that is when history happens. This answer has been given.

1. Resolution — the watchman who receives the living and active Word and delivers it, the person of the highest prayer who moves the throne, the person of the highest evangelism who prepares the highway Today all our disciples in Asia must make a resolution. “I will become a watchman who receives the living and active Word and delivers it. I will become the person of the highest prayer in my village who moves the throne. I will prepare the highway in order to do the highest evangelism.” So it comes out simply. Because it must be actually practiced. What is it? It is holding onto the living Word. Delivering that is what a watchman does. That must happen. Praying 24 day and night, you come to see the remarkable secrets of God. Delivering that — the watchman. There is no need to succeed. It does not need to be done. You are a person who prays and moves the throne. Then everything is already prepared.

And last, what is it? Being the watchman who is best at evangelism. Does it not need to be made known? When a watchman sees a dangerous area, it must be reported. When a dangerous situation comes, it must be reported. So the highway must first be prepared. And all peoples must be made to come. That banner must be given to all peoples so that they plant the banner of Christ’s victory.

I always talk about this, don’t I. It is our mother’s prayer. Then it saves. To a remarkable degree. Truly not missing a single day of prayer. There are no words for it. He prepared 100% of the system connecting all the fields on-site. That is field reality. He built a company to do these two things. That is future system. He completely overturned the world. And it works. What kind of watchmen do our church leaders become? Watchmen who save the region having prepared 300% — that is what this means. That alone is enough. It is fine if you cannot do other things. And so all the missionaries must first establish 1,000 bartizans. Those three things mentioned earlier — do those. Then God will bring the people He has prepared and everything along with them.
3. When you hold onto this covenant precisely, God will come to where you are bearing every blessing. Let me conclude. How firmly does one need to hold the covenant? The three covenants just now — hold onto these precisely, and just as God brought everything to where Joseph was, so it will be. That is the true answer. That is right? That is the true answer. God overturned history according to where Moses was. According to where David was. According to where Paul was, He moved all of history. It is certain.
