The Gospel That Blocks Curses and Disasters

2025.10.05 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 8:4-8

▣ Introduction
※ Because they do not know what they have received, they ask what they should do.
Many people ask, “How should I live my life of faith?” Indeed, most people ask that question. “What should I do?” they ask often. But the truth is, they do not know what they have received. That’s why they cannot overcome unbelievers. Rather than defeating them, we should save them, but instead, they are defeated by unbelievers. This is extremely important. Our remnants go out into the world but cannot overcome unbelievers. They have to follow them around, thinking that following them is success, but the problem is—they don’t know what they have received.

1. Be assured – Wherever you go, curses and disasters collapse and are bound in the name of Jesus Christ.
Today’s title is “The Gospel That Blocks Curses and Disasters.” You must be assured of this. Wherever you go, curses and disasters collapse and are bound in the name of Jesus Christ. That is what today’s passage shows us. If you do not believe this with certainty, what happened to Philip will never happen to you. You will not be able to save a nation like Samaria.

1) Hebrews 11 – The characteristics of those who overcame darkness, curses, and disasters: Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
There is a place in the Bible where the names of all those who overcame darkness are gathered. Where is it? The place where only those who overcame the world of darkness, curses, and disasters are gathered—it’s Hebrews chapter 11. That’s right, Hebrews 11 gathers all the names of the heroes of faith up to now. And at the beginning of Hebrews 11, what does it say? “Faith is the substance of things hoped for.” It doesn’t say it’s something you already have—it says “things hoped for.” You don’t have it yet. “The evidence of things not seen.” This is where people make mistakes. They don’t see it; they don’t have it yet; they only hope for it. Because they can’t see it, there’s no distinction between believers and unbelievers—they both become unbelievers. What is unseen is actually first, but because they cannot see it, they think it has no value. But the unseen is the true reality. Isn’t that what it says? “The substance of things hoped for.” You have not seen it yet. “The evidence of things not seen.” What does this mean?

(1) Faith grows and takes root.
Faith grows. This faith continues to take root.

(2) The result of unbelief taking root.
Recently, a child killed his whole family. Not long ago, a father made a homemade gun and killed his son and wife. The law can only analyze why it happened. The opposite of faith is unbelief. Because they had invisible unbelief deeply rooted in them, such results came out. This year alone, reports show 338 murder cases occurred in our country. Among them, our nation ranks number one in suicides—this year it’s at the highest level. It’s serious, isn’t it? Because unbelief that does not know God fills the land, this is what happens. Unbelief itself is a curse and disaster. Because people are full of it, they cannot escape. Even emergency room statistics show the same. Excluding those who come due to illness or injury—those who attempted suicide but survived were taken to the ER. Among them, 87% are young people. This is no small problem. Such is the terror of curses, disasters, and unbelief.

2) Faith that knows the Gospel correctly
It is extremely important to have faith that knows the Gospel correctly. This doesn’t mean, “I trust that person.”

(1) Believe in Jesus Christ—the name that removes curses and disasters.
God gave us the name that removes curses and disasters, and that name is Jesus Christ. Believe in that name.

(2) You have been given the light of creation—arise and shine, for the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
“The light of creation, that light, has been given to you. Arise and shine, for the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”

3) If you do not believe this fact
If you do not truly believe this—

(1) You remain at the same level as unbelievers.
You’re on the same level as unbelievers.

(2) You cannot evangelize—you end up serving unbelievers and Satan.
You cannot evangelize. You end up serving unbelievers and doing Satan’s work because you don’t believe. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” You must believe this.

(3) There is no way to block curses and disasters.
If you’re not careful, the more educated you become, the harder it is to believe. As you age, it becomes even harder to believe. That’s why there’s no way to stop the incoming curses and disasters. That’s why so many teenagers start committing suicide—there’s no solution. You must be assured that wherever you go, curses and disasters collapse in the name of Jesus Christ, just as they did for Philip.

2. The reason curses and disasters come
So why did these curses and disasters come?

1) The 12 problems
(1) The Garden of Eden (leaving God and trying to become like God), the Nephilim (idol worship—power), the Tower of Babel incident (success without God).
Humanity left God. Not just left, but was deceived by Satan’s temptation. Of course, it was ultimately man’s choice to leave God. Satan deceived man by pretending to offer something good: “You will be like God.” That was the Garden of Eden incident. It continues even today. In Noah’s time came the Nephilim—those who worshipped idols for strength. That began to rise. Then came the Tower of Babel: “We can succeed without God.” Indeed, look at many communist nations that lasted seventy years and collapsed—they said they didn’t need to believe in God, but collapsed like Babel’s tower. This continues even today—this curse and disaster.

(2) Struggling—idol worship, fortune-telling.
So they struggle desperately. They panic, so they make idols and worship them thinking they are God. They go to fortune-tellers who are possessed by demons. They listen to the voice of demons deceived by Satan’s lies and do everything according to that.

(3) As children of Satan, spiritual problems begin; their background is hell and Satan, and greater problems pass to future generations.
In the end, it turns out that I am not the one leading my life—Satan is. Jesus said so. It’s a spiritual problem no scientist can solve. That’s why suicide arises. The background is hell; the background is Satan. And it doesn’t stop—it spreads to future generations. You must grab hold of the covenant of the Gospel that blocks curses and disasters. Believe it. Even one person holding to this covenant can change everything.

2) A church that does not know Only the Gospel cannot overcome curses and disasters.
A church that does not know Only the Gospel cannot overcome curses and disasters. You must remember this. Shall we see the evidence?

(1) Acts 11:1–18 – Criticizing eating at a Gentile’s house (emphasizing Jewish tradition over the Gospel).
When Peter returned from Cornelius’s house, they said, “Why did you go to a Gentile’s house and eat?” Such people cannot block disasters. That’s why people say, “Why do churchgoers act like that?” They cannot block it. Satan fears Only Christ, nothing else. Because they don’t know this, mental illness increases rapidly even in developed countries like the U.S. and Japan. They don’t even know why. Therefore, they cannot stop it.

(2) Galatians 2:10–20 – Emphasizing Jewish law over the Gospel.
Even Peter said to Paul, “Although we are saved, we must still keep the Jewish law.” That’s in Galatians chapter 2. Paul was astonished and said, “You, who know the Jewish law so well—do you even keep all of it? If you can’t, why do you require Gentiles to do so?”

※ A church that does not know Only the Gospel is no different from idol worship. It cannot block disasters.
A church that does not know Only the Gospel is the same as idol worship. It cannot block the curses and disasters spreading over the world and upon you. This is not achieved by effort. That’s why God said, “Believe.” We cannot produce it ourselves.

(3) Matthew 12:26–30 – Satan is building a house in your household.
Jesus said, “Satan is building a house in your household.” The devout Jews were shocked. No matter how blessed you are, if you do not know the power of this Gospel, you cannot overcome curses.

3. The background of today’s passage
What happened?

1) The reason curses and disasters came upon Samaria
(1) During Solomon’s reign, idols spread, and the kingdom divided.
Around 722 B.C., Assyria invaded. But before that, what happened? Solomon became king, and the kingdom prospered greatly. Foreigners came to visit; even foreign kings dreamed of meeting Solomon. But Solomon brought in many foreign women—thousands. These women pleaded, “We’re bored and unhappy here. Let us serve our gods.” Solomon agreed, and idols spread throughout Jerusalem. It became a town full of demons. That’s why Israel was divided—northern Israel and southern Judah, like north and south today. The capital of Judah was Jerusalem; the capital of Israel was Samaria.

(2) Captivity to Assyria, intermarriage with Gentiles.
Then around 722 B.C., Assyria invaded. It was tragic. When you don’t know what curses and disasters are, this is what happens. The men of northern Israel were all taken as captives. Later, southern Judah was taken by Babylon. The men were sold as slaves in foreign markets. To further destroy Israel, Assyria brought in slaves from other nations, who intermarried with Israelite women. Because of that, the Jews in Jerusalem who lacked understanding of the Gospel despised them as “mixed breeds.” Thus, curses and disasters deeply afflicted them.

※ Philip, who proclaimed the Gospel – Only the Gospel can solve curses. Only the light can overcome darkness.
It was there that Philip came and proclaimed the Gospel. Only the Gospel can solve curses, for only the light can overcome darkness. If you do not firmly hold this covenant, our future generations will again become servants of the world.

(3) Because they did not understand the Gospel, Judah saw Samaria as a cursed land.
The problem was not Samaria—it was Judah and Israel who possessed the Gospel but misunderstood it. They saw Samaria as a cursed land. Some Jews would even go around Samaria rather than set foot there. Ridiculous! That’s how people become when they don’t understand the Gospel. So when Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, “Give me a drink,” she was shocked: “How can you, a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?”—for Jews did not associate with Samaritans. That’s where today’s amazing work of revival took place.

2) The time when Jesus was crucified and believers were legally ostracized
This was the time when Jesus had been crucified, and believing in Him was illegal. If you were a believer, you could lose your job—even public officials were dismissed. If you went to the Upper Room of Mark, you lost everything.

3) One man, Philip, broke down the darkness, disasters, and curses in Samaria. Believe this.
This was the era of the early church. In Samaria, one man, Philip, destroyed all darkness, disasters, and curses. Hold firmly to this covenant. Believe it. This is not received by effort. To pray in the name of Jesus Christ is not effort—it is faith, not payment.

▣ Main Message – How did he block curses and disasters?
How were curses and disasters blocked?

1. When hardships come, discover God’s great blessing.
First, when great persecution or hardship comes, find God’s great blessing within it. When hardship comes, enduring or trying harder won’t work. Don’t take another path—find God’s great blessing within the hardship.

(1) The believers scattered due to Stephen’s death and great persecution (verses 1–3).
Verse 1 says that great persecution broke out and the believers were scattered throughout the land. Verse 2 says that after Stephen’s death, they mourned deeply. Then in verse 3, Paul began to arrest and imprison believers to kill them. That’s when the believers scattered.

(2) The blessing Philip discovered – He went to Samaria to proclaim the Gospel (verses 4–5).
Among them, Philip went to Samaria. Believers who have the Gospel do not fear persecution or hardship—they find God’s blessing there. “At that time, Philip went to Samaria to proclaim the Gospel.” Those who were scattered went there.

To pray today means to discover God’s greatest blessing. Try it—discover what blessing God has hidden for you.

(3) The Gospel is life-giving.
Look throughout Scripture—all who received answers saw this: the Gospel gives life.

2. One heart, whole heart, continuation – Miracles that change the world
Second, when they proclaimed the Gospel, “the crowds listened to Philip and paid close attention with one accord.” The one heart, whole heart, and continuation you must have bring miracles that change the world.

(1) Those scattered preached the Gospel, testifying to Christ in Samaria (verses 4–5).
“The scattered believers went about preaching the Gospel,” it says. “And in Samaria, they testified to Christ.”

(2) They listened to Philip’s message with one heart (verse 6).
“They heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, and they paid attention with one accord.”

(3) Miracles that changed the field (verse 7).
“Evil spirits came out with loud cries, and many paralyzed or lame were healed.” Miracles that changed the field occurred.
Today’s prayer is simple. You have the covenant that blocks curses and disasters. If you don’t understand this, you’re at the same level as unbelievers. The increasing disasters in America cannot be stopped. Things won’t get better—they will get harder. Mental illness is rapidly increasing.

3. There was great joy in that city (verse 8)
Thus, “There was great joy in that city.” Don’t lose these three things. In every hardship and problem, do not just pass through it—God’s blessing is hidden there. Once you find it, continue with one heart, whole heart, and continuation. “There was great joy in that city.” That’s the answer you will receive today.

※ During worship, pastors must convey what God desires, and you must find the answer. Once you find the answer, pray with one heart. Then you will see God’s plan and there will be great joy.
If you lose this during Sunday worship, worship becomes meaningless. Pastors must not preach their own message but convey what God desires. You must find answers during worship. Don’t just listen to my sermon—find answers through God’s Word.

Today, our former district head Kim Cheol-Hoon is worshiping with us. I see him as one who has dedicated himself greatly for Yeongdo. Please pray earnestly for him. Through his term, our church received its long-delayed construction approval. He will receive much blessing because our church prays continuously, broadcasting to over a hundred nations. Today, his name was mentioned worldwide. May wherever he goes, not only Yeongdo but all curses and disasters be broken in the name of Jesus Christ. That is our covenant.

If you have found the answer, what does “one heart” mean? It means to pray with one heart and one mind. That’s why you came today—to do this. When you do, God’s plan becomes clear. “There was great joy.” This is today’s complete answer.

Why was there great joy? Because nobody could solve that problem—nobody! There was no way—nothing worked. But when the light shone, darkness collapsed. When they prayed in the name of Christ, demons fled.

(1) Nobody → Everybody
Nobody became everybody.

(2) Nothing → Everything
Nothing became everything.

(3) No way → Everywhere
No way became everywhere. Great joy overflowed.

So when you come to worship, don’t listen to human voices or my sermon. Your life is not worthless. You haven’t come to learn from me. Whether you have problems or not, find the answer through God’s Word today.

There was great persecution, yet they entered Samaria. That’s not an ordinary story. They went to the very place that was the biggest problem between North and South Israel and proclaimed Christ—and people listened with one heart. Let this be imprinted in you. When God’s Word is fulfilled, great joy follows. Don’t miss this.

I told you before about a poor dock worker who prayed an hour after work every day. He found the answer and prayed with one heart, whole heart, and continuation. One day, he became a ship magnate—Onassis. Immanuel Kant too prayed and meditated early every morning while hiking. The same work that broke curses and disasters in Samaria can happen to you through prayer. Believe it. You may seem like nothing, but when you believe, God works.

When I was young, my mother chose the Christian Gospel. That one choice ended everything. “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you and your household will be saved.”

▣ Conclusion – What happens when you pray
Finally, what happens when you pray? You must know this. Prayer is to God—it is spiritual. But what actually happens, even scientifically? There are three principles.

1. Imprinted in the brain
Whatever you say, hear, or pray is first imprinted in your brain. If you say, “I’m doomed,” your brain takes it as truth. If you say, “I can do it,” your brain accepts that. It happens as you say—it’s imprinted in your brain.

2. Imprinted in the spirit
Then prayer becomes imprinted in your spirit. This is no small matter.

3. Delivered to the throne (Revelation 8:3–5)
According to Revelation 8:3–5, prayer is delivered to the throne. That is prayer.

※ Prayer is everything. Nothing else works—Only!
For those who understand prayer, it is everything. Jesus said “Only.” Nothing else works—Only. Today, you must discover this power all day long. Especially our visiting district head—may you gain true strength and become a witness blessed enough to proclaim the Gospel to the world. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Make us today into witnesses who block curses and disasters. Make us witnesses who block curses and disasters in our family line,
and make us witnesses who block the darkness, curses, and disasters in the field of Samaria, and make us witnesses who block the curses and disasters of this age that no one can block. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Disciples Who See Problems as Blessings

2025.09.28 Sunday 2nd Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 6:1-7

Thank you. You are now disciples who see problems as blessings. In other words, you must be able to make problems into blessings. Why? Because that is what the Bible says. God has never once failed to turn problems into blessings. Now, here in this place, and also in churches nationwide and worldwide, there are many assistant pastors, and also RTS families who are rising up. You may have worries such as, “What should we prepare?” In some ways, there are many difficulties for church workers. So you must absolutely do this. Just do what the church assigns to you. Be thankful for it. But at the same time, there are things you must do.

[ Absolutely ]
You must find what you absolutely must do. And then you will be entrusted with one part. You must bring it to life. If that part comes to life, the church members will all be revived. They will be glad. This is not only for the church, not only for church workers, but also how we must act in society.

[ Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation ]
There is one secret to bringing revival. If you discover this, it is enough. Only. Because Jesus said so, others will come to know it in different words. This is uniqueness. Then re-creation takes place. Then the part is revived. When you see this (Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation), it is not difficult. When you see this, revival happens. I personally had nothing special that I could do, so I looked for something simple. I asked the question, “How can children listen to the Word?” In that question I discovered the Upper Room. Then I was in charge of middle and high school students, and the only way to reach them was to go to their schools. That was how I discovered team ministry. Other people saw this and the church members said to me, “Pastor, you’re amazing. How can you visit the schools like this?” But it was not amazing; there was simply no other way. At that time there were no cell phones, so that was the only way. The problem was, because others did not go, they said such things. That is uniqueness. There is nothing difficult about it. And then re-creation follows.

So far, we have already received many answers, but we must prepare, because next year the doors of the 5000 tribes will open wide. Even now they are opening. When I came here I kept mentioning Vanuatu, and many people thought, “Vanuatu? Is there such a country?” America cannot enter into the 5000 tribes, but Vanuatu can. If you enter into the 5000 tribes, within ten days you will die. People from advanced nations cannot enter. That is why countries like these are what God has prepared. That is re-creation.

[ 300% ]
While doing this, what must our assistant pastors do? You must prepare 300% in the part entrusted to you. Then it is enough. Then, in the places you go, in reality many works will arise. And in case you miss anything, many church leaders will pray for you, hold onto you, and support you. Otherwise, unfortunately, unlike laypeople, unlike elders, church workers always suffer from economic and various trials. For example, elders can run a business and make money, but pastors cannot. That hardship follows them. If you are not careful, you suffer for life. This (Absolutely, Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation, 300%) is essential.

In fact, let’s say you enter a company. For young adults, it is not easy to enter. You must adapt to those people and work there. But you must find what you absolutely must do. Because you are God’s saved people, there is a reason God sent you there. You must find this (Absolutely, Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation, 300%). And then you must do the work of saving others. Everyone likes to be helped. You must do the work of saving the company. In this way. While doing this, you must find Only, Uniqueness, and Re-creation. Then many answers will come. And in the meantime, you must prepare 300%. This is important.

Then, what must we do on the other side? There are three things here as well.

[ 7·7·7 ]
Christ gave this to us. He gave us the background so that we can do this.

[ Enjoying prayer ]
You must always pray to enjoy this. Enjoying prayer. If you keep enjoying this, as if it is nothing, what happens? True healing arises here. If you keep worrying, what happens? If you keep being shocked, what happens? You die. Your body as well. But if you keep enjoying, what happens? This is the real thing. Sudden answers like a thunderbolt are good, but the true answers come through enjoyment.

[ Power, Healing, Summit ]
Here, power begins to appear. And the problems I once carried are solved on their own. Fundamental healing takes place. My spiritual problems disappear. That itself becomes the summit.

These two sets ((Absolutely, Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation, 300%) and (7·7·7, Enjoying prayer, Power, Healing, Summit)) are established on both sides. Everyone who received answers in the Bible began in this way. You are busy. You must do exactly this. And you have no time to talk about others. Find it quickly. And there is no need to worry about problems that don’t exist. You must enjoy this quickly.

When you do this, a few things will appear.

[ All problems, all incidents, all crises ]
You already know. All problems become blessings. Is that not so? God has never once cursed. He has disciplined, yes, but never cursed. Did God striking Egypt, or striking Israel, mean He cursed them? Does it look like that? I see it as God saving them. He disciplined them to save them. He made them realize. He also made those nations hear the gospel. That is why all incidents become blessings. Absolutely. All crises become blessings. Then we must take a brief look at the evidence.

▣ Introduction: The eyes to see
Then you must have eyes to see this blessing.

RT 7
The seven remnants. We always speak of them. Even if we look only at Joseph and David, we can understand. Joseph was suddenly sold by human traffickers. This became an immense blessing. Joseph realized this. He told his brothers what he realized: “It was not you who sold me, but God who sent me ahead.” Though he suffered and was falsely imprisoned, he did not shake. That became the path of his success. One day the timetable came and the king called him. People must call you. Strong nations must call you. If you are prepared with 300%. Even if it seems like nothing, if that is prepared, they will call you. For me, I was called so many times that I could not refuse even though I was tired. They will call you. We must prepare so that the world calls our remnants. That is much easier.

David also suffered many hardships. But who received the most answers? David received the most. The word David used most often was “thanksgiving.” He used the word thanksgiving so much. That means he had many hardships, but because he received so many answers, he gave thanks. The fact that he said thanksgiving means he had eyes to see something.

People keep saying the wrong words. I always tell the older elders: “Because you are here, I feel so strengthened and glad.” Truly. It is so dependable. But many people say, “Once you get old, you retire…” The Bible does not say that. That does not fit the times. Now is the age of 100 years. In the future, they may live even longer. How can they retire? They must begin full ministry. People keep having outdated eyes that cannot see. It is the multiethnic age. The laws must be quickly changed. It is the senior age. The field must quickly be changed. It is the delivery age. The systems must quickly be changed. Otherwise, people delivering packages die. A few accidents occur, and only then do they hold meetings… Do they not know? They must prepare. Just like this.

David already realized this. Not a single thing failed to become a blessing. Even his sins—when he repented, God blessed even that. David said, “I have sinned before the Lord.” God blessed even that. God blesses all things. Absolutely. There is much evidence.

Hebrews 11:38
All the people in Hebrews 11 are witnesses. It looked like they suffered, but it was not so. Do not be deceived. It may look like hardships are coming, but it is not so. That is why verse 38 says, “The world was not worthy of them.” That means they overcame the world. That means they were not deceived by the world.

Paul
Especially the one who received the most answers was Paul. But he also suffered the most. The words he used the most were Christ and thanksgiving. Whatever the situation, wherever it was—Christ, thanksgiving. The blessing of changing the world took place.

▣ Main: The age of crisis (6:1-7)
The early church was, in history—not only in church history but in all history—at the greatest age of crisis. Never before had innocent people been executed in such a way. Crucifixion was used for mass murderers or tyrants. Not even war criminals were treated that way. Crucifixion was the punishment of extreme criminals. Yet they crucified them. A legally dangerous time had been created. But this was the greatest timetable. At this time church leaders arose. It says they were “full of faith,” “full of the Holy Spirit,” and “full of wisdom.” When such men were set up, “a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.”

Agitation [ Answer that changes the age ]
First. The powerful kept stirring up agitation. If powerless people stir up trouble, it is not a problem. But when powerful people agitate continually, then those watching will all fall away. Yet God gave answers to change the age. Absolutely.

Atmosphere of threats [ True disciples ]
Second. The atmosphere was terrifying. It was an atmosphere of complete threat. They did not know when they might be killed. But at that time, the Bible says true disciples arose. Indeed, those who appeared at that time were true disciples.

Those chased [ Future – World evangelization ]
It did not end there. They were weak, powerless, and pursued. They became chased people. But amazingly, God entrusted them with the future and with world evangelization. To people, it looked like they were fleeing. But to God, they were conquering. The ones who looked like fugitives were the ones who conquered the world. Exactly in this way, world evangelization arose.

Evidence must be given, so you must believe.

Agitation [ Answer that changes the age ]
How far did it go?

Extreme execution
They crucified them, nailing them to the cross in extreme execution.

Legal edict
Then legally they issued edicts: “Do not preach the gospel. Do not say Jesus rose. It is unsettling, so stop. Do not say Christ. Do not say ‘Lord.’ ‘Lord’ means king.” In this way.

Persecution by religionists
And religionists also persecuted them. Who were the religionists? The Pharisees, scribes, and priests. These joined in the persecution.

Merchants persecuted
Merchants also persecuted. “Because of those people, our business is harmed. Leave. Do not come.” In this way.

Rome persecuted
Rome persecuted them. Roman persecution especially said, “Do not use the word ‘Lord.’” In Greek “Kyrios.” Kyrios was only for Caesar. If they used it, they were executed. Yet it did not matter. The gospel can never be stopped. The Word has never ceased. The age was changed. Later even Rome itself was conquered.

Atmosphere of threats [ True disciples ]
The threats were intense. The ones fleeing…

Acts 11:19-30
At that time the Antioch Church was born. “Those who had been scattered by the persecution in connection with Stephen…” it says. What would you have done? Maybe not you, but many would flee. If it is boring, they flee. All would flee. But these people gathered. Do not miss this.

Acts 12:1-25
Then greater hardships came. At this time all the believers, especially the church leaders, gathered together for one accord prayer. One accord prayer always brings miracles. In Korea’s national crisis, the president even fled to Busan. At that time pastors and elders truly prayed in oneness. Miracles happened. In the early church, the church leaders all gathered before God and prayed in agreement. It was true prayer, not program prayer. That very night God sent His angel and took Herod’s life. To take Herod, no army was needed. If God calls, he is gone. At that time, only true disciples gathered.

Acts 13:1
And then, as you know, Paul returned. Paul, who had gone to persecute Christians, became a believer himself. As I said before, it is like Kim Jong Un coming to South Korea and becoming a Korean. It was shocking. Then a special group was formed to capture or kill Paul. A legal team was formed for this. Yet at that time Paul was formally commissioned as a missionary. What a shocking story. Why? Because true disciples gathered at that time. There is no need to worry.

Those chased [ Future – World evangelization ]
The very fact they were chased was a critical word. You must remember this.

Remnant
The word remnant has two meanings in English. Those left behind. Those who remain. Both are correct. They looked like abandoned ones, but were the remaining ones. They looked like fugitives, but were the scattered ones. Not runaways, but the ones sent out. They turned the world upside down. World evangelization happened.

Acts 13:1-4, 16:6-10, 19:21
At that time the Holy Spirit perfectly guided. The doors were opened. It was not that the doors were shut. It was to open new doors that they were guided to Macedonia, to Rome. This history arose.

So always turn every problem into a blessing. It will be made so. At your company, make it into a blessing. Make your workplace into a blessing. Go to the failures, and make them blessings.

Do you not already know? A young man began with nothing. But then he had an accident. He tried to survive, but another accident happened. He built a small factory, but it burned down in a fire. So he went to a wealthy elder. “Everything is gone, only the land remains. Please let me borrow money with the land as collateral.” But that elder said, “You need no collateral. You yourself are the collateral. I will lend you.” Those words gave the man strength. Indeed. That one word. The accident was not an accident. That young man was Chung Ju Yung, who later greatly helped Korea. We must have eyes to see. Do not say, “That young man made a mistake and failed.” The wise elder saw correctly: “I will lend to you. You yourself are the guarantee.”

Wanderers (A.D. 70)
The early church members looked like chased wanderers. But later what happened? In A.D. 70 a great event occurred. Wanderers arose. From then, through these wanderers, the gospel spread worldwide. At that time the remnants were used.

Now, what problem are you carrying? Do not worry. If you worry, your body and spirit will be harmed. Give thanks and entrust to God. God is surely the God who blesses. People have described God wrongly, like some strange spirit. But God is the Creator. Because people misunderstood, Jesus gave parables. Three parables. “The shepherd left 99 sheep to find the one lost.” “A woman lost a coin and searched until she found it.” “A son squandered his inheritance and became a beggar, but the father waited every day for his return.” Jesus gave these parables. People misunderstood God as a tyrant. But when the son became a beggar, so poor he could not be recognized, the father still recognized him. The Bible says, “While he was still a long way off,” the father recognized him. This means the father waited every day. God knows your weakness. That is why He promised the filling of the Holy Spirit.

▣ Conclusion

Reality (selfishness)
Do not be deceived by reality. Reality is selfishness. All reality is explained in terms of selfishness. Do not be deceived.

Fact (atmosphere)
More important than reality is fact. But fact itself is not truth. It is atmosphere. Is atmosphere truth?

Truth (frame)
Beyond that is truth. But even truth, if from man, cannot be trusted. That too is a frame. Do you know the word frame? Pre-arranged mold. It is like that.

Spiritual fact (disaster)
We must see spiritual fact. We must save all of them equally. We must see the spiritual fact that they may face disaster, and do our role.

God’s plan (salvation)
Then what is God’s plan? You can see it. God’s plan is surely to bring them to salvation. That is all we must do. Those who will be saved are guided by the Holy Spirit.

So quickly conclude. All problems are blessings. Are they not? Confirm it historically. All incidents are blessings. You must make them so. All crises are blessings. History is so. The Bible says so. That is the power of the gospel.

Prayer. Let this week also be a week of many answers. Let my problems become blessings. Let my worries become praise. Let my crisis become opportunity. Let it become God’s opportunity. Let the works that save many people arise. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Those Who Despise Christ

2025.09.28 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 4:1-12

※ Authority and prayer experience – When you worship in faith, pray, and proclaim Christ, the darkness is bound.
Thank you. Today is not about what we will do, but about what happens when we believe. When you worship and pray in faith today, the darkness is bound.

A certain missionary gave this testimony. He was serving in a remote area, in a very hot country. Korea had sent the mission funds, and he received them at the post office or somewhere like that. But then robbers with knives appeared. So the missionary simply gave it to them. He told them to take it. But that night, the robbers came back. The missionary was shocked and asked why they came, and they returned the money, saying they had done wrong and asking for forgiveness. He asked why, and they explained that when they were carrying away the money, there were seven soldiers with guns standing in front of them. They were so terrified that they ran away and brought the money back. So the missionary shared the gospel with them and told them to believe in Jesus. The astonishing part was that the believers in his home church later testified that, on that very day, seven people had gathered in the church to pray in agreement for that missionary.

Your prayer, your worship, binds the darkness. You must believe. Because darkness hates the light. The moment the light shines, the darkness flees.

Long ago, on the road up to our church from Busan, many accidents happened because it was so dark. So I made a request: “Cut down those small trees and put lights everywhere.” Once the lights were turned on, all the darkness fled.

Today must be a special day for you to experience what your authority and this prayer truly are.

Peter raised the cripple to his feet, and because of that, he was dragged into court and now stood on trial. “Did we not tell you not to speak about Christ and His resurrection?” That was what many leaders gathered together said to him. But Peter boldly declared, “There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” That was truly astonishing.

A daughter-in-law came to believe in Jesus, but then her mother-in-law suddenly became mentally unstable. This gentle mother-in-law began to curse at her daughter-in-law with all kinds of insults. Why? She herself didn’t even know why.

In Busan, there used to be an elder who spent every day evangelizing in Yongdusan Park. This is his testimony. His daughter had married into a family and became the daughter-in-law of that house. How did this marriage happen? The fathers of the two families arranged it together. She had never even met the man, but the fathers agreed, “Let’s marry them,” so she was married. It was a completely unbelieving family, steeped in Buddhism, but she was a believer. Because her father sent her, she went. While serving food at meals, she kept praying silently. But eventually, she made a firm decision: “I must go to church.” When she did, chaos broke out.

Normally, a sane father-in-law would never beat his daughter-in-law. But he went mad and struck her with a stick. Seeing this, her husband was overwhelmed. He came home drunk and confronted her: “Why are you going to church and causing problems?” Then he pulled out a knife and said, “If you truly keep going to church, I’ll kill you and kill myself.” But she made a firm confession: “It’s okay if I die. I love my family, my father, my husband, but I cannot stop believing in God.” Speaking boldly, she stood firm. He put down the knife and left. From then on, every morning while preparing meals, she drew the sign of the cross and prayed. Later, both her father-in-law and her husband became elders. That father-in-law, who once beat her, repented and spent his days evangelizing in the park. He even showed me the notebook where he recorded the thousands of people he led to accept Christ.

People who hate Christ have a common spiritual condition. They rage violently. Some stir up trouble, others incite mobs. Historically, without exception, whenever there was a gospel movement, opposition always arose. Who causes this? You must not be deceived. When you proclaim Christ, when you worship, when you pray in the name of Christ, the darkness is bound and driven out.

  1. When the name of Christ was proclaimed, all the problems of the cripple were solved and his destiny was changed.
When the name of Christ was proclaimed, all the problems the cripple had were solved. He had lived as a beggar all his life, but it was not merely that begging was solved—it was that the cripple himself stood up. Rising up was not the most important thing. His destiny itself was overturned. “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk.” After that incident came the declaration: “There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” This is absolute. It is proof to all religious people. Proof to monks. Buddhism may be a noble religion, but it is not Christ. You can testify with certainty.
  2. During the time of worship and prayer, God called Herod the king away.
This shows how important worship is. During the time of prayer, God even called Herod away.
  3. On the day the blood was applied, the Exodus happened.
This shows how important worship is. On the day the blood was applied, they came out of Egypt. You must believe. Some things are to be done, but some things must simply be believed. This is to be believed.
  4. During the time of prayer in the name of Christ, the light shines and the darkness collapses.
Christ’s coming was promised by God, foretold since the Old Testament. Darkness never disappears on its own. During the time of prayer in the name of Christ, the light shines, and the darkness collapses.
  5. Satan fears Christ and completely kneels before Christ, which is why he says, “Do not speak of Christ.”
Why did the mother-in-law rage when her daughter-in-law believed in Jesus? Why did the Jews persecute the early church believers so fiercely? It says they gnashed their teeth. Have you ever seen someone grind their teeth? I have seen it while they slept. But gnashing teeth means the person was in extreme anger and fury. That is why they stoned Stephen. Why do they hate Christ so much? The answer is certain. It is Satan who tells pastors and others, “Do not speak of Christ.” Satan fears Christ. He fears nothing else. He has thousands of times more power than you. He does not fear your wealth. But he completely kneels before Christ. That is why he says, “Do not speak of Christ.”

▣ Introduction _ Know for sure
Before we talk about what happens, we must clearly know three things.

  1. When you have Christ, you have the light.
The being who seeks to destroy you knows one thing first: that if you have Christ, you have the light. That is why they say, “Don’t go to church, don’t believe in Jesus, don’t talk about Jesus.”

1) Rough Christ (no answer), mixed Christ (confusion), antichrist (disaster) – Only Christ (only answer), complete Christ (world evangelization)
If you have a rough Christ, there are no answers. If you have a mixed Christ, confusion comes. Only Christ brings only answers. Antichrist brings disaster. Complete Christ brings world evangelization. Satan knows this. Satan knows whether or not you have the light of Christ.

2) When you pray, the darkness collapses – Because those who believe in Christ, who came as the light, were given the authority to become children of God (John 1:11–12).
Whenever you pray, the darkness collapses. Christ came as the light. To those who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the authority to become children of God.

3) Satan, whose goal is to destroy the next generation, knows Christ and knows those who have Christ.
Satan, whose aim is to destroy the next generation, knows this well. He knows Christ, and he knows those who have Christ.

  1. The 0.1% who had Christ and those who did not know Christ
There is much evidence. With this answer, you must begin to pray.

1) Abraham, who held onto the ram instead of his son, and Lot, who had no interest.
Abraham held onto the ram in place of his son. That is an extraordinary message—it points to Christ. But Lot, his nephew, had no interest, even after seeing that event. You know the historical problems that Lot caused.

2) Israel, who did not know Christ, brought great disasters upon the next generation.
Israel brought seven great disasters upon their descendants because they did not know Christ.

3) Those who have the light of Christ – Just shine the light. Proclaim this light to all peoples (Isaiah 60:1, 1 Peter 2:9). Believe in your identity and authority and use it in worship.

Today you are truly those who have Christ. Those who have the light. This is certain. “Arise, shine the light. Proclaim this light to all peoples. For this reason, He has called you as His chosen people, a holy nation.” Why do we receive Christ? Because all the darkness in us collapses. Believe in your identity and authority, and use it in worship today. All the darkness making your life difficult will be bound. In the name of Jesus, it will be driven out. You must believe. The basic problem is that people do not believe, and so they lack spiritual strength.

▣ Main: What happens when this light shines?
What happens when this light shines?

  1. Spiritual problems are resolved.
First, three things happen. The first is that eternal spiritual problems are resolved.

1) Christ is the King who destroyed Satan, who delivered the twelve kinds of darkness.
“Christ” means that He is the King who destroyed Satan, who delivered the twelve kinds of darkness to you. Believe, confess, and proclaim this. When you pray, you must proclaim it.

2) Christ is the true Priest who removed disasters.
Disasters do not disappear on their own. Christ is the true Priest who removed disasters.

3) Christ is the true Prophet who opened the way of salvation.
Humanity cannot meet God. Humanity cannot be saved. That is why Christ opened the way of salvation. The three offices together mean Christ.

※ During worship and set prayer times, believe, confess, and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ to break the darkness.

  1. Destiny is overturned.
Second. Why do they say not to call on the name of Christ? Why does Satan fear the name of Christ? Because it overturns destiny.

1) The cripple from birth – destiny.
The cripple was born that way. It could not be fixed. It was destiny.

2) Physical and material service cannot change destiny.
People carried him every day so he could beg. That was a physical service. Others tossed him coins. That was material service. These were good and thankful, but they could not change his destiny.

3) When the one who has the complete answer of Christ proclaims the name of Christ, destiny is overturned.
The moment his destiny was overturned came when Peter said, “What I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” That is what it means to be a Christian—one who belongs to Christ.

  1. Our future and eternity are changed.
Why does Satan make people lose hold of this in every age? Because Christ changes our future and eternity.

1) Bartizan
Along the way, He promised a bartizan.

2) Journey
In Acts 1:8, He promised a journey.

3) Guidepost
In Acts 1:8, He promised a guidepost.

※ When you do the 7·7·7 prayer every day, you will see the Word being fulfilled.

▣ Conclusion _ Darkness and light do not fight
You must draw an important conclusion today.

  1. You are the light of the world, so you only need to shine the light (Matthew 5:14, Isaiah 60:1).
Darkness and light do not fight. The moment light shines, darkness disappears.
  2. Pray – Christ who overturns destiny, Christ who resolves spiritual problems, Christ who has resolved the future and eternity.
    Pray during this worship.
  3. The 7 remnants who knew this

1) The exodus naturally happened in the way of Joseph and Moses.
Joseph was never shaken. Moses realized later, but he was not shaken. It was natural. Wherever you go, God’s work will naturally take place.

2) Those who had no calculations because they were assured of Christ – Paul’s team and the remnants of Babylon.

The 7 remnants knew this. Paul’s team was sure of it. The remnants of Babylon declared, “It’s okay even if we die.”

May today be the day that, through your worship, all darkness around you collapses and flees. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that this would be the day of answered prayer.

Prayer. We thank God. Let today be that day. We are easily caught by darkness. In the name of Jesus Christ, let us drive it away. During this time of worship, let light shine in every place connected to us. Let the darkness be bound in every place where we have difficulties. Let all the forces of darkness that afflict our future generations flee. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

The Temple That Heals

2025.09.21 Sunday 2nd Service
Church Construction Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: Acts 3:1-12

Because we heal with the gospel, all multiethnic remnants need healing. To insist on building a church is to say we will build a sanctuary that heals. We should always do this, but this week the true remedy is thanksgiving. Paul mainly gave thanks in three ways. He said, “I am so thankful that I came to know the gospel.” To what extent? He said, “What I boasted in until now I consider shameful and harmful.” Many pastors and theologians think they know the gospel well, but Paul said, “Its height, depth, and breadth are immeasurable.” Who knows it better? Some say, “Is only Darakbang preaching the gospel? We also know the gospel.” But Paul said it is immeasurable. As you know, the man John Calvin said at the very end of the Institutes of the Christian Religion that this immense gospel is believed, but it is hard to explain. Whenever Paul called people by name, he did not say simply “So-and-so,” but “So-and-so in Christ,” and he attached a mission to that. When he said “So-and-so in Christ,” or sometimes “our fellow servant So-and-so,” he did so. In Romans 16, when introducing the names, before each person he said “So-and-so in Christ.” He could not help but be used. He was thankful for that.

And he gave thanks for a second thing. He said, “That I can proclaim this gospel—there is no greater blessing than this.” He gave thanks. By doing so, only true disciples gathered to him.

Paul also had a third thanksgiving. He said, “I am thankful that because of this gospel I face persecution and am in the midst of suffering.” Many people cannot say this. So a man named William Barclay expressed the part where Paul says he is thankful for being confined this way: “Paul is now receiving God’s greatest privilege.” He expressed it well. Spurgeon expressed it like this: “It is not that Paul is imprisoned by the jail; the jail is in Paul’s hand.” So he gave such thanksgiving.

Today a man lame from birth was sitting at the Beautiful Gate of the temple—“lame from his mother’s womb,” it says. In other words, it is destiny. So this man chose an occupation; he chose to beg. Because he must have judged that there was nothing else he could do. And it says “daily.” That means he was diligent. And it says he “sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple.” That means he chose his spot well. If you sit under a bridge, people do not come much. Even to sell hotteok, the location is important. There he begged; some gave coins, and many must have helped in various ways. But even after all that, this man is a beggar. Even if the lame man were healed, he would not thereby become a child of God.

▣ Introduction – The Line of Faith
Today in this introduction, a tremendous line of faith appears. We must give thanks that we stand in this line. Through no fault of their own, children in North Korea stand in a wrong line and are at the point of death. Even at this hour there are many who are struck with incurable diseases, can do nothing, and groan in hospitals. Truly, when I went to a remote area, I thought, “Ah—indeed, where one is can be this important.”

1. Peter’s faith
In this line of faith, where this tremendous event occurred, it is Peter’s faith. Peter was changed beyond imagination. As for me, I do have faith, but for me to look at a lame man and say “Rise”—that kind of faith does not come easily, honestly. There was that deaconess in Seoul who could not use her legs. She came to every one of my meetings, in a wheelchair. Once a certain organization invited me to hold a meeting, and that day a torrential rain poured down. Yet that deaconess—back then she was a deacon—came all the way there in a wheelchair. At that time I should have said, “In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, rise,” but it did not come out. So I said this: “God will surely make you stand someday. Pray.” At that moment such assurance came to me. But after a little while—I do not know the exact date—she came walking to my office. She said God had miraculously made her stand.

But Peter—looking at this lame man—was he not the one who had denied Jesus? Seeing this, I realized something important. It says, “Peter, together with John, fixed his gaze on the lame man.” It says, “He looked intently.” It is recorded that way. “He looked intently” means he had seen him before, but now he saw something while praying. I gained many answers there. He said, “I have no coins, no silver or gold. What I have I give to you.” He said, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk.” Something flashed through my mind quickly. Where the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is first proclaimed, miracles take place—markedly.

The proof is this: I entered Yeongdo and began evangelism, and as the evangelism began to break out, I went to sixteen Russian-speaking countries to give evangelism messages. A pastor who was accompanying me led someone to accept Jesus, and the lame man stood up. Truly. Ah! For this Christ to be proclaimed is an immense event, is it not? Peter believed this and proclaimed it. It is like a miracle.

2. The lame man’s faith
This is the lame man’s faith. He said to the lame man, “Look at us.” Peter and the lame man must have met eyes, since he said, “Look at us.” Then he said, “What I have I give to you. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth I command you, rise and walk.” An astonishing thing happened right there. The door to world evangelization opened.

3. Acts 3:11-12
What is more important is Acts 3:11-12. Originally, if you read to verse 10, the section fits neatly, but I told you to read to here. There is an important word in it. When people were astonished, Peter said, “Why do you stare at us as if we had made him walk by our own power?” While speaking of the ancestors, he said, “The God of our fathers has glorified Jesus Christ. It is in His name that he stands—this is not something we made happen.” It is tremendous faith. Therefore we must give thanks to God who gave us this faith.

▣ Main – The Line of Evangelism God Desires
But there is an even greater reason to give thanks. There is nothing more to be thankful for than this which God desires. We stand in the line of evangelism that God desires. A person like Theophilus did not do evangelism at all, right? Yet he received the greatest blessing. You can see it in two things. While Theophilus was a governor, Luke wrote the Gospel of Luke and sent it to him. And he also wrote Acts and sent it. These are immense books, are they not? Even now works arise through them and they have changed the world. They are simply letters from Luke the physician to Theophilus the jurist. These came into this (the Scripture). That is why every New Year we have a retreat with physicians and jurists together. What is this? Even if one does not go, one is in this (what God desires in evangelism) line. It is important. Even if you do not do a big evangelism movement, the very fact that you are in the line of what God truly desires in evangelism is a great blessing.

1. Healing is absolutely necessary
First. Why is this? Because, as in today’s text, healing is absolutely necessary. This is the reason. Such a sanctuary is needed. It is what happened at the Beautiful Gate of the temple.

1) Destiny healing
What was healed? Destiny itself was completely healed. This is the gospel. If not for this, why would we preach the gospel? It heals destiny.

2) Root healing
It heals the root outright.

3) Incurable disease healing
For ordinary disease, one can go to the hospital. But this healed an incurable disease. By God’s power. You must believe. And you must give thanks. Spiritual works differ from human works. Such works occur. Even ordinary people—if they have strong faith, their bodies revive. This is no lie. If you have strong faith, you rise. You gain strength that can overcome even cancer cells. Then what happens when the Holy Spirit works? That is why this event occurred. We stand in a line of great blessing.

2. Healing by the church/sanctuary
So why must the church and the sanctuary heal? That is what is now being made known at the Beautiful Gate of the temple.

1) Priests
Many priests saw this man. They could not heal him.

2) Scribes
The scribes, who are said to be so learned, knew this man.

3) Pharisees
Originally, the name itself means those who are separated and great. The Pharisees knew this man. They did not heal him. They could not even think of it. This overturned that.

4) 237–5000
One more thing to remember is that this was a period when Jews from all over the world gathered. By law, Jews scattered throughout the world were to come to keep the Passover. And they did not come alone; they brought those whom they had evangelized. That is why there were Gentiles there. It is that field. It was overturned there. On that day, 237–5000 was overturned.

3. The church/sanctuary God desires
And the third reason is this: do not think of the present as difficult, but what is it that God most desires? What content is it? What church and sanctuary—since the sanctuary is a facility—what is it that God most needs and desires?

1) Multiethnic
On that day, just as in today’s text, it was a day when multiethnic peoples were present.

2) Three courtyards, the three-day weekend age, holy meditation
So now the present church lacks the three courtyards that save these people; it lacks the three-day weekend age that heals them; and though they must go out into the world and win, it lacks the holy meditation age that enables them to win. These parts were all fulfilled at once. This land needs healing. This land needs a church that heals. The multiethnic peoples have many difficulties; they need healing. Those who do evangelism and missions must not be deceived. And you must prepare differently. Someone in China said, “It would be good if there were a school where our children could receive education.” He explained the reason. After studying in China for a long time, their (thinking) does not change. So he said it would be good to have schools like RGS or RLS. So I told them to establish them. It is not difficult. That is how much these people have inside of them.

By the power of the Holy Spirit alone, if we do not do this (Main 3), it cannot be done. Knowing this, we must prepare. Is much facility necessary? Likely not. If you know, it is enough. Do you know how people crossing over from North Korea come? Our remnants cannot even imagine the pain with which they cross. The little children and the women come here almost at the risk of their lives. What is the inside of those people like? I am not trying to say whether we are abnormal or not; I am saying these people need healing.

3) Rest – Summit
And now the most important parts are these: they must first find rest here when they come. When they come to this church, they must find rest. And in the end these people must be made into summits. That is why we say to build the sanctuary. As it is now, our multiethnic peoples do not find rest when they come here, and they have nowhere to go. Even so, they are remarkable. They push in and eat, and do things like that. To eat, they must stand in line. In the future, we will need to change many systems, will we not? In order to save such people. When remnants come to our church, they should find rest. And they should not go after only playing; they must go as summits. Otherwise, they cannot win when they go out into the world. Now, what is more important than this? Therefore you must pray with thanksgiving.

▣ Conclusion – [God’s Gaze]
Then what conclusion comes? Where is it that God is looking? This is important. Where is God’s gaze? Of course, God sees the whole universe. But where is His interest? There are several things.

1. Those who see the age
Those who see the age. Why do we keep talking about the three courtyards, the three-day weekend age, and holy meditation? We are preparing for the age. As you know, the three organizations are a century ahead. It is a full century. Our church is a century behind. Then the actual gap is two centuries. We cannot win. We must open these eyes. We can do it fully; if we gain spiritual strength, we can do it fully.

2. Footprints
So we must leave footprints. “Wow, so this is the gospel. Ah, so the evangelism movement is done like this. Ah, prayer must be done like this.” We must leave them. This is what God desires.

3. The sick
While you pray carefully: Is there a church now where the sick can go? There is none. We must prepare.

4. The disabled
Is there a place where the disabled can go? The parents of the disabled say this: “My wish is for that child to die before me, and for me to die after.” If I am not there, what will that child do? There is no church that can take responsibility for that. So our nation wants to build many facilities for the disabled. And churches keep not wanting to do it. I do not know why they dislike it, but anyway they dislike it. Buddhism aims for that and digs in. Catholicism aims for that and digs in. So now the disabled are all taken and dominated by Catholicism and Buddhism. That is fine up to that point, but as a policy they are building community welfare centers with hundreds of billions—nearly a trillion won—to revive local regions. Those who can use them are chosen by open call. At that time civil servants give hints among themselves. If a church has applied? No. Because they usually dislike churches. Everyone knows. They deliberately give them to Catholicism or Buddhism. That is how it is maintained. Things have come to this. There is nothing. You truly must pray like this.

5. Remnants
A church where remnants can come comfortably.

6. Multiethnic
A church where the multiethnic can come as if it were their own home. We must quickly create such systems. That is why we combine our strength to build the sanctuary, because it is what God desires.

7. Nobody
More importantly, nobody can go and nobody can do it. This work. No one can save someone like the lame man at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. We go there. In simple terms, it is Nobody. We go where nobody can do it.

Therefore, looking at these few things, you must find them. My gospel. You must find it. My prayer. If you do not have it, you must find it. For the sake of your health, you must find it. For the sake of your studies, you must find it. My evangelism, my missions, my sanctuary—you must find them.

Though it is not necessary to go that far, when I went to a large church in America, they had revealed all the names of the people who had given offerings. As I saw it, it did not seem biblical. But if you do that, people will naturally give more. They installed it with that in mind.

Even if we do not do that, we set up the system of my church that God desires and save the people of the world. Sometimes what we do casually and as if it were merely natural for us becomes life-changing for the other person. A man who went to prison twenty times was being transferred to another place, and in the meantime someone preached the gospel to him. This man’s life changed. He just heard the gospel. The one who preached it must have simply preached because it was natural to preach the gospel. We do not know what will happen.

Someone handed out a gospel tract, and the tract flew about. This person picked up the tract. He was so weary he intended to commit suicide. By chance he picked up that tract. It said, “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden.” It said, “I will give you rest.” For us it is something we always hear, but for this man it was a word that struck his chest and head. He was lying down intending to die. That man was changed. It is Sundar Singh, whom you know well.

A man named Mackenzie, since he was Australian, entered Vanuatu to evangelize. He became ill there. When he became ill he could not remain and came out. So he asked, “Is there a country as difficult as Vanuatu? I will go again.” That country is Korea. At that time, it was so. Remarkably, those people are great, but those who push and send them are also great. He came again. He arrived in Busan, and this man fell ill again. So he went back. Then his daughters said, “We will do it.” They left everything they were doing in Australia and came, saying they would do it here in Busan, Korea. The church they founded is Ilsin Church. I came out of there. It was in our village.

No one knows. No one knows the dedication you make. The offerings you give are the economy of light. I understood that: “Ah, this is the economy of light. Ah, this is the missions economy.” It is a timetable we cannot know. The important fact is that you are now in a timetable known only to God. Be thankful. As this thanksgiving continues, many eyes change.

As I mentioned before, this person is an elite—a physician—and by appearance you can tell he is an elite. And he is good-looking. But when you look at his face, it is full of discontent. There is no thanksgiving. So everything is just discontent. The primary cause arose in the home. The husband does not believe in Jesus. He does not come to church. They do not get along. He keeps wanting to go out for recreation. He keeps drinking. Civil servants gather and drink all night and come home. So this is conflict. I said to that deaconess, “You must give thanks. As I see it, that man is a remarkable person. No one knows how well he may believe in the future. As I see it, it is not drinking. He is simply wandering. He is seeking something. The only person who can help him is you. Shall I then follow your husband around and help him? I cannot do that. You must do it. You are thinking wrongly. I am thankful that a man like him has a person like you beside him.” What will you do if you meet an unbeliever? He will go like that forever. He is a smart man. This person understood exactly. He said he was sorry. From then on he came to early-morning prayer for several days. This husband changed. He came home drunk at 2 a.m. and asked for water, and while giving him water she said, “Thank you.” Though drunk, he said, “What are you thankful for?” She said, “I am thankful that you are alive and not dead.” She said, “I am thankful that though you drank so much, God has kept your health.” It is nothing special. But this man thought about something. Change occurred. As I had expected, change occurred and he believed even better. True gospel thanksgiving changes our eyes and changes people. I will pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Let much of God’s grace be restored even this week. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Believers Who Do Not Need Anything Else

2025.09.21 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 2:1-13

▣ Introduction
Thank you.
1. People who need something else and people who do not need anything else
1) King Saul, who tried to keep the royal seat, and David, who said he lacked nothing because the Lord is his shepherd
If you look at the Yi Dynasty Joseon period in our country, there were histories where, to become king, they killed even family members, and even made all who opposed them bleed to death. They even killed their own nephews. King Saul had the same thought and became demon-possessed. Using the power of being king, he continuously slandered and harassed David. He even made about six attempts in which David could have been killed. If, while you live, you suffer something like that once, it is hard, but he suffered it about six times. Even the courtiers, because King Saul had power, kept saying things. They kept saying that David must not be left alive. Well, worldly people cannot help but be like that.

But David never once answered to that. On the contrary, when the people under him said, “King Saul is now demon-possessed. He must not be made king. He must be killed,” David said absolutely not. He strongly and clearly said that one must not lay a hand on the anointed servant whom God has set up.

David said something even more important. “Because the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” This is not just a faith confession. This was not because someone said, “Give a testimony.” He wrote this while wandering near death, walking through death.

2) When nothing else is needed, darkness is bound to be broken
Here, something important comes out today. He says that nothing else is needed. This is what is important. Darkness is bound to be broken.

3) The reason people hold onto something else – because they do not know what happens when they pray, and when and how to hold to the covenant
If we are not careful, we miss two things. We do not know what happens when we worship and when we pray. Also, we do not know well when and how to hold to the covenant. That is why we hold onto other things. Then we need other things. Thus we end up holding onto other things. That is what is wrong.

4) What you see is more important than what you do
And what is important for us—though I always say it—is that although what you do is important, what you see is more important. If you see what is important, you do not even need to act. If you have not seen it, even if you try doing it, it is of no use. Therefore, it is important what answer I am to take with me today.

2. The history of people who needed something else
First of all, we need to check the whole Bible once. We need to check about those who needed something else. Because we might just pass over it. We too could become like that. If we are not careful, we could be among the 90% who do not receive answers. God said it, didn’t He? “Only a tenth will remain. Everything will be gone and only a tenth will remain. That too could become even more desolate.” He prophesied to Isaiah. So He gave an important answer. We must accurately look once at the history of those who needed something else.

1) Abraham and Lot – since they did not catch the word to follow the Word for world evangelization, they held onto something else
He said, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household, and go to the land I will show you.” Up to that point, Abraham needed other things—other than that. “How can I do world evangelization? Besides that, I need to eat now. I am in a hurry now.” He understood it like that. More importantly, He said, “Go to the land I will show you.” It was not, “Go to such-and-such a place in Yeongdo-gu, Busan.” He said, “Go to the land I will show you.” It means follow the tremendous Word of God. Abraham did not catch this. So he kept grabbing other things. But that is wrong and makes it more difficult. And right next to him there was another person of exactly the same level. That was his nephew Lot—at the same level as Abraham. He too was a person who thought only of his own profit to survive. What do you think happened? Abraham later realized. From then on, his spiritual eyes began to open. He realized. Therefore, if you miss this, we become the same level as beasts. You must never miss it.

2) Joseph’s brothers – food, clothing, and shelter
They were people who needed something else. Their spiritual eyes had all become darkened. They were Joseph’s brothers. Right? They knew only food, clothing, and shelter. Eat well, dress well, live well—if that is all, then it is the same level as beasts. Worse than a dog. Nowadays dogs are happier. Aren’t they? I went to a rest stop and there was a park behind it. A couple was going into the park pushing a stroller. When I went over and looked, I was shocked. Both couples were carrying dogs. They will not bear the children who should be born, and they carry dogs like that. When I saw that, I thought, “Ah, dogs are much happier.” That is what it has come to. What is it that we need that is “something else” now? This is what is important.

3) King Saul – the royal seat
King Saul did not need God. “I must continue as king. Ability doesn’t matter. My son must do it. David must by no means do it.” That is what it was. How could that be? To us, it sounds absurd, but to him, it made sense. That is why he became demon-possessed.

4) King Ahab – because he did not know God’s grace and power, he needed something else
There is a reason King Ahab became so vicious. God’s grace? Power? He knew nothing at all. Knowing nothing, he needed something else. So it was not that it did not matter whether it was wrong or not—he simply did it. “If I am to make the nation strong, I must enlarge it.” That sounds right. “I must have much diplomacy.” Then, there is only one method. “I will join hands with the kings of those foreign countries.” The way to join hands is to bring members of their families. Simply put, he would take as a wife the daughter of that other king. “If so, that king will by no means attack me; he will become my side.” That is how he calculated. He brought in thousands of women who worshiped idols and the prophets with them. Because he did not know.

5) The Jews – they did not know original sin, Satan, grace, faith, and spiritual problems
Why were the Jews judged? Because they did not know.

※ The 7 remnants – because they knew the true thing, they did not need anything else.
Thus the 7 remnants who were used were different in their characteristics. They had nothing they needed. This cannot be stopped. Why? Because they knew the true thing. Because they knew the true thing, they had no need for the counterfeit.

※ When you see God’s true answer and power, your own will and stubbornness are not needed.
Pastors think that if they run the ministry according to their own mind, it will go well. Right? Is that correct? Elders also think, “If it goes well according to our will,” then it is a well-going church. Is that correct? I see that as two demons. Do you know why? If you do not see God’s true answer, you end up like that. Right? If you have seen the true answer, there is no need to be like that. When God’s power continues to come upon your work, why is your stubbornness needed? It isn’t. This is the problem. The nation that carried away a third of the Nobel Prizes is the Jews. Why did they suffer seven disasters? They still do not know. But what on earth did they believe?

First of all, the Jews do not know the word “faith.” When you believe, works happen, but they do not know the word “faith.” Today, if you do not know what the word “faith” is, then it is just like saying, “I trust that person.” Today, you must take with you what the word “faith” truly is in order to know that you do not need other things, and to know what is needed.

The Jews do not know what original sin is. So they do not need faith. They only need to solve their personal sins. Right? The Jews do not know Satan. So they do not know what prayer means. It is important. They do not know what grace means. “Saved by grace? What does that mean? You must keep all the Law.” That person’s words seem right. “You must establish merit. How can you be saved by faith?” They do not know what original sin is. They do not know what spiritual problems are. Therefore spiritual problems keep coming.

3. The true thing
1) Do the stump movement, the root movement, the life movement, and the remnant movement
Therefore God said to Isaiah, “Whom shall I send?” “Send me.” He said it would not work. “Now everything has collapsed and only a tenth remains. Even the tenth will collapse. But the stump will not collapse.” Right? The stump remains even though the whole tree is cut down. From there a shoot rises. So, “Do the stump movement. Do the root movement. Do the life movement and the remnant movement.”

2) Acts 1:1–8
(1) Christ completed it
After Christ completed this, He spoke at Mt Olive. He spoke many very important words.

(2) He proved that He is the Christ by His resurrection, and for 40 days He explained the kingdom of God
By His resurrection He directly proved that He is the Christ. He explained the kingdom of God for 40 days.

(3) “When you receive only the fullness of the Holy Spirit, you will receive power and be witnesses to the ends of the earth, so do not leave Jerusalem and wait.”
“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait. When you receive only the fullness of the Holy Spirit, you will receive power. You will be My witnesses to the ends of the earth.”

▣ Main – Only: other things will not work
Now, why did He give such a covenant? Today, you must receive this answer and go.

1. Fundamental healing – the three feasts (Acts 2:1)
First, why Christ, the kingdom of God, and only the Holy Spirit? It is to believe. Believe what? Fundamental healing.

※ Believe (Genesis 15:6) – When you believe, spiritual works take place. The heavenly army is mobilized. Darkness is broken.
He will give that. You must believe this. “When Abraham believed, God credited it to him as righteousness.” When you believe, spiritual works occur. When you believe, the heavenly army is mobilized. When you believe, darkness is broken. Right? If you know what faith is. Today, at this time, when you believe, works happen.

The biggest problem is my thoughts. Because they have limits. God’s power is much greater than that. And there are many who tell older people to retire, but I do not think so. God’s absolute plan remains. Right? Which is correct? God’s absolute plan remains in your remaining life.

Therefore, “Only.” It will not work with other things. You must receive fundamental healing. And it will not work with other things. You must gain fundamental power. With other things, you cannot do world evangelization. You must go with a fundamental mission. You must hold this fact today and pray today as you go. And you must confess here. That is worship. So now they are all worshiping in Seoul, in other regions, in Ulsan. You must hold to the covenant and this confession must come out.

1) Healing of destiny – Passover (Acts 1:1)
What is fundamental healing? It is the three feasts. “When the day of Pentecost came,” this was fulfilled. This means that included in Acts 1:1 is the Passover that changed destiny. “When the day of Pentecost came,” means “it became fifty days after Passover.” You must believe. By the blood of Christ, He changed all destiny. You must believe. This is not about effort. You must believe. The Jews did not understand this word. Most intellectuals today did not understand this word. “Believe? You must do something.” They cannot understand. But if someone truly has IQ, they will understand. We cannot overcome Satan. We cannot become children of God. We cannot produce salvation. We cannot remove disasters. We cannot overcome the background of hell. God promised to send Christ to remove this. Believing this fact is faith. Right?

2) Healing of spiritual state – Pentecost (Acts 2:1)
And what is it? What is fundamental healing? Spiritual healing must occur. Therefore, “When the day of Pentecost came,” that is what it means.

3) Healing of life – Ingathering feast
Also, there is the background of the Feast of Ingathering. What is this? It is the background on the road you will go in the future—three healings. Healing must occur first. Destiny must be turned over.

A certain coach said this about athletes: “Hey, the one who is going to make it will make it no matter what, and the one who won’t make it won’t make it no matter what.” He said that. What does that mean? To some people, it is a word that gives strength. To others, it is a word that takes away strength. Right? “Hey, the one who is going to make it makes it, and the one who is not going to make it doesn’t.” What do you think? The whole world is like that. Therefore, you must quickly catch the sense of this.

I have gone to church since I was young. In church, they keep holding onto what does not work. It does not work. You must open your eyes. Why do what does not work? Why not do what God tells you to do? That is why it does not work. Then what does not work? World evangelization is what does not work. You must quickly receive healing. You must receive healing of destiny, spiritual state, and life. I scarcely know how to explain it—it is that frustrating. Therefore, many pastors keep suffering with ten or five church members. It does not work. No matter how much they try. It cannot work. Because the operation does not work. Because they cannot even make a living. They suffer such a situation. If your posterity goes out into the world and, unable even to barely eat, struggles and asks, “How can I eat?”—should it be like that? They must do world evangelization. Remnants must hold firmly. Fundamental healing must occur. That is what I mean.

2. Fundamental power – the power of the Word
And what do you really need? You need fundamental power. That is precisely God’s power, the power of the Word.

1) Acts 2:17–18 – children will prophesy, young men will see visions, old men will dream dreams
This is Acts 2:17–18. What does it say? “Your children will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.” What do you think? It says older people will dream dreams. This speaks of fundamental power—the power to give life.

2) Acts 2:42 – following the flow of the Word, fellowship, enjoying the power of the gospel, devoted to prayer
What does Acts 2:42 say? “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching”—following the flow of the Word. You must hold this today. Following the flow of the Word. “To fellowship”—this means knowing who the person next to you is. If I look at Lee Seong-hoon as if I am not saved, he is nothing much, right? If I am saved, it is different. “To the breaking of bread”—on the Lord’s Day, this means that you are to enjoy the power of the gospel. “And to prayer”—they devoted themselves wholly to prayer. However much I think about it, I do not need anything else. Truly. Because everything is there. Because they did not catch this, they need too many other things.

3) Acts 2:46–47 – every day in the temple, and in homes, the Word is fulfilled
In Acts 2:46–47, what happened? “Every day in the temple and every day in homes,” the Word began to be fulfilled.

3. Fundamental mission – saving
There is one more thing left. What is urgent for us? It is not doing well; we have a fundamental mission left. What is it? It is saving.

1) Acts 2:9–11 – many peoples of fifteen nations
In Acts 2:9, 10, and 11, many peoples from fifteen nations began to gather.

2) Acts 2:41 – three thousand disciples
In Acts 2:41, three thousand disciples arose. Right? You must have fundamental power. It is a mission. Why? There are many who are thirsty.

3) Acts 2:43–45 – the threefold economy is restored
In Acts 2:43–45, they gave offerings, and material blessings filled and overflowed. The threefold economy. This was restored.

In our mother church, when they were building the sanctuary, people did not give offerings. How can you do it then? You must give offerings to build it, mustn’t you? But I know. Among quite a number of church leaders, there were many who had money. They did not give. What can you do? This is no ordinary problem. In Busan it became such a test that it became known by rumor. I saw that at the mother church. But I was shocked. The shocks continued. Shock. The weakest person in strength was our mother, but she gave the most offering. Huh? I was a bit shocked. Wow… What happened after that—Pastor Jo Eun-taek, who is listening to my sermon now, is a witness. His house is right below ours. It was a big stir. God showed proofs as if to say, “Look.” To those families who persecuted our house, as if to say, “Look,” God… At that time, we had no strength at all. The prayers and help of the elders gave me great strength. The fact that the church members, our servants of the Lord, and our elders prayed for and helped our mother—that was our strength. At that time I was thirteen years old, and since I had three younger siblings under me, what do you think happened? God did not allow us to be sick even once. In my view, it is a miracle. How could it be so? Not even once. Why? Because if God did not help, we would die. I saw it.

Therefore, you must receive fundamental blessings—healing, power, mission. You do not need other things. Only. Then, when you receive power, you will be a witness to the ends of the earth.

▣ Conclusion – What Jesus gave: everything must come out from within this
Did not Jesus give something important at this time?

1. A new me – 7 bartizans
He made known who the “new me” is. You must do that. From there I found the seven bartizans. I am always praying.

2. A new way – 7 journeys
He made known a new way to me. Then you must do that—why do other things? They are the seven journeys.

3. A new answer – 7 guideposts
He made known what the new answer is that restores everything. The seven guideposts. However much I think, I do not need anything else. From this one thing, all your business and your studies must come out.

※ During worship and prayer, make confessions by faith.
Make confessions by faith. During worship and prayer, confessions of faith are very important. I saw our elders and parents who suffered hardships. I made confessions of faith to God: “God is the Creator. He is my Father. There is no reason I must be poor. God is the Lord of life. There will be no such thing as our becoming sick and being unable to do any of the Lord’s work. Because God is with me, evangelism is the easiest thing and the most blessed.” I confessed like that. These three answers are continually coming, aren’t they?

I learned many things in church. Seeing many problems in many churches, I learned much. The church is the place to serve God, the place to worship. That means that there we must hear the voice of God. We must gain that strength and go. I confessed it.

You must truly confess with your heart. “I will completely change my family line.” You must confess it—simply by faith. Because He has given an enormous background. Many precious multiethnic people are here. Those who work for those multiethnic people will be blessed for generations to come. Just wait and see. What must those people confess today? “I can serve to shine the light of the gospel in our nation.” Right? You must do that. And is there some difficulty in your family? It is not a difficulty. Today you must hold the covenant that completely overturns that. Darkness is set to be broken.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today will be a day when there is a confession of faith that enjoys this true blessing. Let us pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Let today be the day of that grace. Let today be the day when faith confession begins. Let today be the day when darkness is broken. Let us gain fundamental power. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

A New Start

2025.09.14 Sunday 2nd Service
237 Missions Dept. Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: Acts 1:1-8

Thank you. If we are going to do 237 missions, there must be a new start. Because if it is not that, it will not work.

「A New Start」 (Acts 1:1–8)
Jesus Himself spoke this start. Only in this way can we save the 237.

▣ Introduction
There is something you must hold on to here today.

1. Worship
We offer worship. When we offer this worship, almost everything important comes out, but there are hardly any people who truly understand this. When you worship, you must gain answers through the Word. And that must be imprinted in you today. You must definitely have that time. You hardly ever have it. You have the opposite. You just talk about people and absolutely do not have it.
Our church is a little less like that, but back when I taught the middle and high school department, for middle and high school students, work did not get done because they were looking at girls and boys. They could not hear the message. I even gave an instruction. I said, “Have the boys and girls sit mixed together.” Worship does not happen. They just look to see whether someone came or not. Worship does not happen. Do church leaders worship? They do not. What has been imprinted—when you enjoy it for six days, it takes root. And when you finish again with Friday–Saturday–Sunday, you gain many answers and strength. You must restore worship first.

During the time of praise in worship, what kind of time is it? It is the time when the gate of heaven opens and darkness is broken. Right? The choir may do it not knowing, but we must know that and participate. When David praised, not only were the heavenly hosts mobilized, but the darkness upon King Saul was broken. Among these, the most important is the Word, of course. But it is not only the Word that is important. The Word must definitely be imprinted; you must obtain the answer, be imprinted, and be settled. Only then does this begin to take root during the six days. Then something tremendous happens.

Also, when the elders pray, what must you know at that time? The elders have the authority to bless in prayer. If possible, when you pray, it is fine at the beginning to confess and recite a Bible verse that I love. Some people keep teaching Scripture to God, continuously. That is not right, is it? When praying to God, you should not keep teaching God the Scripture. Like our elder earlier, confessing one verse of Scripture by which I received grace—about this much is very good. You may not believe it, but when you pray you have the authority to bless. So you pray that the Holy Spirit would come upon the choir. You pray that the Holy Spirit would come upon the preacher. You pray that the Holy Spirit would come upon the congregation abundantly. At that time. And for those who are sick and cannot attend. You pray for them. For our families and remnants who are far away overseas and for our members, you pray. That is prayer. Personal stories and political stories—God knows them all. Worship is offered to God.

And it is the same with praise, and when there is a special song, that too is worship. Then the person giving the special song should come out and just praise. Some people come out and give a greeting. Then the presider would also have to come out and greet and preside. The preacher would also have to come out and greet and preach. It would have to be like that, right? But it is worship. Also, the one who is in charge of presiding should not pray long because the one who will pray is sitting in the back. Just offer a brief opening prayer. For example, in the first service, Lee Seong-hun was a bit long. The person leading the service should only lead. Right?

And now we are talking about offering, but what do you think about offering in order to revive worship? I am someone who learned by watching offering. My mother is the one who does tithe and thanksgiving offering very devotedly—not merely strictly, but extremely devotedly—so I, watching that, at first was tempted. “Why does she do that?” But my mother is the poorest person, right? When the church was in difficulty, she gave even more. When you go to that mountain, there was one church building being constructed, and at that construction I was astonished. Because I lacked faith, for the first time I spoke ill of my mother. She gave more offering than the elders. A curse came out of my mouth then. Because I lacked faith. It is not like that. We four siblings grew up under our mother, and God never once made us sick. If there were only people like us, someone like Elder Im Gwon-il would have a hard time running a hospital. Because we would not go to the hospital. Not once has anyone come to our house asking for money. Until now, God has made me healthy to run about for world evangelization. I know this. So you must do that devoutly.
So originally, when it comes time for worship, we say we present the offering. Originally, each person would carry the offering and present it to God. Originally. But if we did that, time would all be gone, so we cannot. That is how important this is.

These days, churches around the world are struggling. First of all, there is a problem with exports. Also, due to war in the Middle East and Russia, there are difficulties in moving many goods for export and import. As this has happened, all construction and building in our Republic of Korea are difficult. Being placed in such a situation, now customs issues have also arisen. What should we do? Every church will be in difficulty. I also heard that. Then the answer is simple. As soon as I heard that, I reduced what I spend and give double offering. Our parents did that. Because I saw it, you must receive economic blessing in offering, right? People take offering lightly. I do not need an envelope. I prepare it at home in advance, devoutly, write on it, and bring it like that.
Because we lose all the blessing of worship. Then the Word is confirmed, you see. Then with that you quietly see it fulfilled throughout the six days.

2. Thanksgiving, happiness, strength
So with this, I am so thankful. Right? And when I pray, I must be happy. And if this (strength) has not been found, you must quickly find it. It is not something small.

3. Answer, imprinting, confirmation
You must certainly obtain answers through God’s Word. Usually people just worship and end it, but you must imprint this Word with even a short prayer. Pastors throughout the nation and world should not try to give “good sermons.” Why? Because you are not merchants. You must receive the sure Word God has given, have it imprinted, and imprint it. It must be confirmed. A tremendous Word begins to come alive.

Because we do not believe this (Introduction 1, 2, 3). Nowadays, because we do not believe, other kinds of evidence are starting to appear. Because we so, so do not believe and do not proclaim, some fortuneteller says, “Hey, you need to go to church.” Someone put a book on my desk. Now science is giving testimony. There is a life in which a person originally can avoid aging, they say. So originally eighty is the real beginning, they say. Moses did that, right? And Moses, as he aged, his eyes became brighter, it says. That is normal. We actually do not believe in God. Because we do not believe, now science has started to testify. Someone brought it. When we pray, they have begun to see what happens in the brain. When I went to Europe, a scientist brought a computer. “Evidence for pastor’s breathing prayer.” He laid out scientifically what happens in the brain when you pray with breathing. Because we do not believe. You must believe.

▣ Main Message: Discover five things.

1. The 60-day experience
You must do the 60-day experience once. You must do it once, must you not? There are things to be careful about when you do it. After doing this experience, if you are a normal person, there is no reaction at all. There is no answer. That is normal. Some people fainted while doing this. There is nothing bad about it. But I cannot necessarily say it is right. “I fainted”? There is a problem in the brain. “Nothing is wrong.” That is normal. For me, nothing was wrong. Even when I finished, there was no answer. But this changed my life. You must do it once. Some people say, “Ah, when I prayed, my whole body trembled.” There is nothing bad about it. But you should see it as having a bit of a stroke tendency.

1) Calvary (John 19:30)
We try to fix this one thing. At Calvary. He said, “It is finished.” If so, it is a new start. If I have a problem, that is a new start.
2) Mt Olive (Acts 1:3)
Mt Olive. Acts 1:3—He explained the matters of the Throne for forty days.
3) Mark’s upper room (Acts 2:1–13)
And with that covenant they came down to Mark’s upper room and experienced power. The three feasts. It is the Pentecost experience. You must do this. Once you do this and this taste is formed, from then on the second thing happens.

2. Turning points of the age
Discovery
This Main Message now—because God has prepared everything, you only need to discover. If you believe this (Introduction) fact and have experienced it once, from then on everything is discovery.

3. The way God guides
A third thing has come out. You see that God guides your entire path.

4. Mission turning point
He had prepared a mission turning point by which you can save the 237 nations and shows it to you.

5. God’s plan to save the world
Behind you there is clearly God’s plan prepared to save the world.
These (Main 5) five things—just discover them. If only worship comes alive for you, discovery begins.

2. Turning points of the age
1) Acts 11:19–30
What are the turning points of the age? Through Antioch, although persecution arose, the door of missions that becomes a turning point of the age began to open.
2) Acts 11:25–26
At this time, God sent to this place the person named Paul.
3) Acts 12:1–25

Persecution does not matter. That night, as they prayed, a great event broke out. King Herod died. The Herod who persecuted the Early Church died, and here a great turning point occurred.

3. The way God guides
1) Acts 13:1–4
From this point, what comes out? There is no need to worry at all about saving the 237 nations. The Holy Spirit will completely guide you. This is the answer. “I do not see it well”? Then do not go. Then what if I do not go? Just enjoy and do not go. In the past I prayed for the door to foreign study to open, but it did not open. Then do not go. Right? There is no need to force it. If I did not go, what did I do? I went to a better place. I went every day into the mission field, the evangelism field. I saw something greater. You—those who will save the 237—must in your lifetime obtain a clear answer once. Also, make up your mind once and start by yourself. Start by yourself. If you do it together, it is bothersome. By yourself. Then not only for yourself but also before others you will inevitably have something to testify. This answer must come. Like unbelievers you keep grabbing other things, and other answers come, right? Then if you cannot do world evangelization, it is unfair. Because you must keep suffering. Truly there are many such believers. When a problem comes, they are shaken.
Now, because a problem came, the scattered ones gathered. At that time they called a person named Paul. It is tremendous. Because of the proclamation of the Gospel, persecution arose, but they called Paul and began full-scale evangelism.
2) Acts 13:5–11
Where you go, darkness will be broken. That is enough, right?
3) Acts 13:12
And a system that does not shake is surely made and disciples arise. The proconsul became a disciple. No matter how good a program a church has, it is useless. You as one person must receive answers. Remnants, do not be deceived. When you go outside, no one can help you. You must go with this power to change the world. Do not be deceived.

In the past, when I was passing through six churches, I did not listen well to the adults. Why? Because you cannot do world evangelization. If I listen to that, I will also be ruined. Right? You cannot do world evangelization. Now you are gathering and opening the world door with us, are you not? If this individual cannot obtain the answer, others receive it, but I must always just watch like this. But the world is not easy. Remnants, go outside and see. It is piled up with lies and envy and jealousy. Without power here, you cannot overcome. You must go with the power to win without even fighting. Right? This (Main 3) thing happened wherever Joseph went. They could not kill Joseph. They sent him to be killed, but an even greater (Main 3) thing happened. You must go with this power. You must go with this.

4. Mission turning point
1) Acts 16:6–10
Perhaps on the path you go, there will be something like a door being blocked. This is a great turning point. To Macedonia.
2) Acts 16:15
When they went to Macedonia, a person prepared to help for a lifetime was there.
3) Acts 16:16–18
There a work of casting out demons took place. They changed the village itself. You must remember this.

5. God’s plan to save the world
What God has prepared for you is a plan to save the world.
1) Acts 19:21, 23:11, 27:24
How? “You must also see Rome.” Even if dragged into court, it does not matter. Be of good courage. “You must bear witness in Rome.” Even if you meet a storm, it is fine. “Paul, do not be afraid. You must stand before Caesar.” Why is that?
2) 237–5000
Because there are 237–5000 here. Our remnants in America only need to receive such “300%” answers that you are called for. Just this. Do not be deceived by other words. Must you not do the other things? They all follow.
3) TCK, CCK, NCK
Only then do you attach this with the remnants for you. With this, it is finished.

▣ Conclusion
Now, there is something you must remember at the end. Earlier I spoke looking at the multiethnic people.

Throne [ Isaiah 6:1–13 ] [ 1 Corinthians 3:16 ]
This word “throne” appears in two places. In Isaiah 6:1–13, we see the Lord with the heavenly hosts working from the heavenly Throne. Right? The power of this Throne comes upon us personally. “You are God’s temple,” it says. This place becomes the Throne. The connection of these two is a wondrous miracle of transformation. You must do this.

1. Recovery
So unconditionally in the morning, recover everything. If you are older and do not do this, dementia will come, dementia. You must recover. Someone I know was fine, but then dementia came. He talks nonsense, and now this person cannot be used. He talks nonsense. Once completely gone, we might care for him somewhere, but it has come on moderately, so he goes around saying strange things. “That elder is strange.” People have become like this now. Truly. What is so important? You must recover the strength God gives. Is there anything else important?

2. Confirmation
At noon, you must confirm. There are many things you hear and see. You must confirm. At this tim,e you must confirm God’s blessing and answer.

3. Answer
At night, what is it? You must find the answer in all the Word. If there is something I cannot do? Is there? If so, there is a true answer contained there. You can discover your prayer topic exactly. Because a problem has come. Right? There are many times when we hold God’s covenant incorrectly. But if there is something I cannot do? That is the exact covenant. Pray and you must make a resolution this week. And after that, you must have this (60-day experience) time. Unconditionally have it once.
So I grew up watching our parents. I seized the good things as evidence of faith. The wrong things I seized as prayer topics. Why was our nation at that time so poor and sick… I seized it as a prayer topic. The church was always divided and fighting. What is evangelism? They could not evangelize. As I made that my prayer topic, that answer came. If there is the most difficult thing in your life? That is your true prayer topic. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that this week would be a week in which you receive new strength and see new grace.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Open our spiritual eyes. Let us see God’s power. Open our eyes to see the heavenly army more than the number of people. Open our eyes to see the power of the Throne more than the matters of the world. Let us know that today’s answers are not the answer. Let us know that today’s problems are not the problem. Make us witnesses by whom only God’s plan and power are fulfilled. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Start of All Answers

2025.09.14 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Matthew 16:13-20

▣ Introduction

Because the conditions for destruction must be removed, do not speak but wait (verse 20).

We thought we had started only a few years ago, but thirty years have already flown by. Also, at the beginning of the year we checked our New Year’s message, and now it is already September. On my schedule it already says, “Please send next year’s theme.” So we must now examine our faith a bit and make a fresh start. When I meet with most church members, I hear descriptions that their walk of faith is somewhat difficult. There are not many who say, “I am receiving answers well,” but rather I sense that many say it is all a bit difficult. At times like that I even briefly wonder, “Am I not preaching well?” One of our church leaders said, “The sermons are too difficult.” I thought, “Are they too hard…?” When I meet newcomers, I often sense that they do not quite know what to do or how. And when I meet our members and their families are mentioned, there is always something—like, “We went to church before, but we had a stumbling block and are not attending now.” I can see and confirm such things.

Today’s passage—“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God”—was my first message at the rallies. Pastors across the nation were shocked by this message. They said they were shocked by the evangelism message, and many brought their congregants. Because problems arose in the denomination, many people have almost all left.

Why is that? I pondered this for a week. There may be various reasons, but Christ gave an accurate Word. Christ, who knows our state well, gave the answer. That is verse 20. After granting tremendous blessings and giving the covenant, He spoke in verse 20. Though it should be proclaimed widely, He said, “Do not tell anyone.” Here I gained a tremendous answer. Exactly! God, who knows us too well, tells us to wait. Not to speak yet.

※ They say Jesus is like Jeremiah, Elijah, John the Baptist, or one of the prophets – conditions for destruction. Then many answers began to appear. They say He is like Jeremiah. They say He is like Elijah. They say He is like John the Baptist. They say He is like a prophet—about Jesus. Therefore, because Christ must remove all the conditions for destruction, He says not to speak yet but to wait. Because you are indeed those who must receive answers to prayer and carry out world evangelization, you must surely confirm this.

1. The 12 bartizans of Satan

1) Trap – self, Nephilim, Tower of Babel
Satan has confined you in a trap. You must come out. What trap is it? He makes you unable to escape what is called “self.” This is the part to beware of most. Pastors worldwide think that if ministry goes well according to their will, then it is going well. That is wrong. Church leaders worldwide think that if things go well according to the church leader’s will, then it is going well. That is wrong. Those two “Satans” have collapsed the church. We must see the work of God. Right? If God keeps blessing our church and your work, my plan is unnecessary. A pastor’s insistence is unnecessary. Why must things be done my way? They must be done according to God’s Word. Right? Our stubbornness is unnecessary. Knowing this, Satan said, “If you eat this, you will be like God.” We fell immediately. We thought it would be like that, but we became Nephilim. We thought we had gained power, but we were seized by Satan. We labored to the point of death, yet everything collapsed—Babel. This continues even now. We must come out from self.

Sometimes when I must make a critical decision, even though I already have the answers, I deliberately ask my assistants. Then surprising answers come. Some try not to speak if possible; some know even more than I do—so much that inwardly I am astonished. Even when I have the answers, I must not do as I please.

2) Frame – shamanism, divination, idols
Satan then began to destroy mankind directly with these—shamanism, divination, and idols. You must come out from there.

3) Snare – six destinies
You have been caught in the snare of six destinies. You must come out of that destiny and go to Christ—to the Triune God. Without doubt. Once you realize this, it is enough. Therefore, “Do not proclaim it yet; wait.”

2. We must come out from religion without the gospel.
If a church has no gospel, it is religion. We must come out of religion. I served seven churches and learned many things there. In my home church, we fought with incompetence. I resolved to come out of that incompetence. In many churches I saw humanism, fighting, and no evangelism. I resolved to come out of that grave. We must come out. Right? Absolutely.

3. We must come out from the antichrist. The true answer is that I am inside world evangelization.
Everything other than Christ is the antichrist. Certainly. You must come out from there. Therefore, do not proclaim it yet—wait. Come out from the place where you cannot evangelize, cannot do anything, and only eat until you die. If someone asks me, “What answer have you received?” I will answer boldly—and even ask in return. “Did you eat a lot and our organization grow?” That is not an answer. People are interested in such things, but that is not an answer. “I made a lot of money.” Is that any answer? Look at the Bible. If you do not know world evangelization, He sends you into slavery. He wipes out your posterity and sends them into captivity. Right? That is the Bible’s instruction. Only when I am inside world evangelization is it that I am receiving answers.

▣ Main: Do not tell anyone yet – the true answer to receive

Do not tell anyone yet—because there are three true answers to receive regarding this.

1. Because much persecution remains, prepare and wait.
First: Because much persecution remains, prepare and wait. Right?

1) The crucifixion of Jesus – Do not be afraid; prepare the true thing.
Afterwards, Jesus was crucified. Chaos erupted. All were deceived. When He was crucified, all fled. Even those who had nearly died and lived fled. Those who saw the miracle of the five loaves and two fish and said to Jesus, “You are a King higher than any king,” all fled. Therefore, do not be afraid; prepare the true thing. It is not the time to speak now.
2) The persecution by the Jews
Persecution began from the Jews and even the Gentile nations.
3) The persecution by Rome
Rome’s persecution began in earnest. If you do not know this, you will be flustered. Not for a year or two, nor even for three days; Rome attacked for hundreds—two hundred fifty—years. Those who held this covenant began to enjoy answers. This is important.

※ We must see God’s answer in every matter and event. That is prayer and the fulfillment of the Word.

Therefore, you must be able to see God’s answer in every matter and event. That is prayer; that is the fulfillment of the Word. Because much persecution remains, this is not the time to go out, nor the time to speak—prepare.

2. The true answer remains.
Second: The true answer remains—so do not go out now; wait. What is the true answer? You will come to realize it.

1) Enjoy Christ, the true priest, true prophet, and true king.
(1) True priest – disasters x
“Christ” means the true priest who removed disasters.

(2) True prophet – the way to meet God
We cannot meet God. “Christ” means the true prophet who becomes the way for us to meet God.

(3) True king – He conquered Satan
We cannot overcome disaster or Satan. He is the true king who conquered Satan. This must be restored and enjoyed going forward. You must enjoy this.

2) The Christ prophesized
(1) Genesis 3:15 – The offspring of the woman will crush the authority of Satan.
“The offspring of the woman will bruise the serpent’s head.” Satan is not a being that “dies”; Christ will break Satan’s authority. These blessings remain. New believers, do not be shaken—hold the covenant firmly.

(2) Exodus 3:18 – On the day the blood of the lamb is applied, there will be freedom.
On the day the blood of the lamb is applied, there will be freedom. This is no ordinary statement. The movement of life is possible only by life. Satan does not fear people. He does not fear your skill. He fears the covenant of Christ—Christ Himself. Because the covenant of the blood of Christ utterly breaks the darkness, its fulfillment still remains—now, experience it.

(3) Isaiah 7:14 – Immanuel
Because of many religionists, they again went into captivity. Right? Because the church lost hold of this important truth, they went into captivity. I see that it is being lost now as well. That is why I resolved in my heart that we must evangelize. It is being lost. At that time, again God said, “A virgin will conceive and bear a son, and you shall call His name Immanuel.” That was the Word given then.

(4) Matthew 16:16 – Christ
And right before destruction, Jesus asked, “Who do you say that I am? Who do people say that I am?” They all answered wrongly. Then Peter confessed, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

3) The perfection of Christ
And there is more remaining: the perfection of Christ. Many have not yet realized this.
(1) Christ before eternity
What happens when you call on that name? He is Christ before eternity. If you do not understand this, nothing is solved. The Jews did not understand. When He said, “I was with God before eternity,” they said, “Huh? What are you saying?” They were not spiritual leaders but like kindergarteners. “Your most revered ancestor Abraham believed in Me and was saved.” What did they say? “How old are You?” This conversation does not connect. This name was prophesied before the ages—before eternity. Right?

(2) The incarnated Christ
As promised, He came in a human body. Why? Because He had to save mankind. That is the incarnated Christ. It was prophesied.

(3) The resurrected Christ – when you pray in that name, works arise
There must be proof. He must die on the cross and rise again. Therefore Paul said, “He died according to the Scriptures and rose according to the Scriptures.” There is nothing more to say. Even now, when you pray in that name, works arise. Satan is bound.

(4) Christ, who will stand as the coming Lord – our future
It does not end there. Christ will stand as the coming Lord—our future.

(5) Christ, who will stand as the Judge – eternity (hell, heaven)
Christ will stand as the Judge—our eternity. Those who go to hell live with hell as their background even while living; “Believe in Jesus and go to heaven” is not wrong, but such words alone cannot save people. Before going to heaven—before dying—we now enjoy the background of the throne. Right? And before going to hell, they are already enjoying the background of hell; of course they go to hell, since they did not believe in God. We often try to understand these things wrongly. “Christ who will stand as the Judge” means Christ who gives the eternal answer.

People also speak strangely about the coming Lord. They say He will suddenly appear after no news at all. Not so. He is always with us from the throne; and then He will stand as the coming Lord. Such tremendous blessings still remain. You do not need to speak yet. You do not need to be discouraged. Because your promise will be fulfilled by God, you must hold to it without being swayed by human words.

3. The true blessing remains.
He spoke certainly of the remaining true blessing as the third point.

1) The blessing spoken after Peter’s confession
What is it?
(1) Rock
“You are rock.” That is, not sand—rock. A house must be built on rock. Our parsonage at Deokpyeong is filling with water; it was built on sand, so it keeps sinking, and one side is slanting. I said, “Call the builder.” They said he has died. I see. If you build on sand, it all collapses. You must build on rock. And, “On this rock I will build My church.” Do you know what the church is? “On this rock I will build My church.”

(2) Authority
He gave an even more important word: authority. “The powers of darkness will never overcome you.” That settles it, right? You must know this: the powers of darkness will never overcome you.

(3) Keys of heaven
And, “I give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.” Of course, this includes disciplinary authority. But it is the key that opens the gate of heaven. I will give this. Christ promised it. So whether things seem to be going well or not is not the issue right now. The word is this: “The remaining blessing is tremendous, so do not speak yet.” It does not mean never speak—because the true answer still remains.

2) A tremendous mission remains.
(1) Peter’s mistakes – the Mount of Transfiguration; when Jesus was arrested

Peter made two mistakes. Even after hearing this confession and receiving this blessing, when he went up the Mount of Transfiguration and saw Elijah, Moses, and Christ, he said he would build three shelters. Right? That much is fine. But he made another mistake. One day, a sudden incident occurred—terrifying. They brutally bound and arrested Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the King of kings. Then Peter made another mistake. He became afraid; he panicked; he could not follow close to Jesus but followed from afar. They asked, “This man was with that Jesus as His disciple, wasn’t he?” He said, “No.” A servant girl said, “It’s him,” and he said, “I am not.” That is what Peter did.

(2) Salvation does not change. By God’s grace, he was saved to save many.
Those who are saved do not lose it. Jesus came to find such a Peter. Do not be deceived. Salvation is not given and taken away by calculation. You were not saved because you are so great. By God’s grace you were saved—to save many. Right? Because the world of darkness must be saved. Even though Peter made enormous mistakes, his salvation did not change.

(3) “Do you love Me? Feed My lambs.”
Jesus came to Peter. He did not ask anything else. He asked, “Do you love Me?” It was the same question. Peter answered the same way—he said he loved Him. When He asked the third time, Peter replied, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Then again Jesus said, “Feed My lambs.” A tremendous mission still remains.

3) The bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne – watchman
After that, Christ Himself promised. From now on, the timetable to proclaim the gospel in earnest has come. “You will establish the bartizan of the throne.” This was the final word. “You will go the journey of the throne. Here and there, you will set up the guideposts of the throne.” Is this not certain? It was fulfilled exactly so. The difficulties you have now are not a big problem.
He has given us an even greater mission. Why speak of bartizan, journey, and guidepost? “You are a watchman. You are the watchman to guard your family line and your nation. I have called you to transmit this light.” Right?

▣ Conclusion: Do not be deceived
We keep being deceived—again and again.

1. Do not be deceived by yourself.
We are deceived by ourselves. “I am a great figure”—that is deception. “Do you know who I am?”—that is deception. “I cannot do it”—also deception. Right? We are deceived by ourselves. When you quietly look at your situation, it seems impossible—so you are deceived. Or it looks as if I have done something great—again deception.

2. Do not be deceived in the face of reality.
And what else? We keep being deceived before reality. The time of worship now is the highest time—yet we are deceived again. I have confessed many times, but I especially plead with you who must receive answers—remnants: I passed through six churches; the seventh church I came to is our church. Thankfully, I met you who evangelize. In previous churches, they closed their ears, because they must not hear it—they spent 24 hours speaking only things that can never accomplish God’s work. So I was said to “not talk much” and to be “proud,” but I am a person who talks a lot. I am not proud. I am a kind and gentle person. People are mistaken. They say I am diligent. I am not. I like to relax; I like to go around—it gives me grace. But we must do what is necessary. I do not tell you to work hard; I tell you to do what is necessary. Right? Church leaders and all middle-serving officers, in the remaining years you must concentrate. They are not long. What remains is shorter than what you have lived; time passes quickly. Now you must concentrate. Therefore, do not be deceived.

3. Do not be deceived by Satan.
In the end, do not be deceived by Satan.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that, through you, many nations trapped in darkness will rise. Let us pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. We thank You for calling us as God’s children. We thank You for leading us to enjoy the gospel accurately. Let the evangelism movement that saves people arise in the remaining years of our lives. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Greatest Opportunity Given By God – Multi-ethnic Missions

2025.09.07 Sunday 2nd Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 8:26-40

Thank you. God gives us the greatest opportunity. This is multiethnic missions. We must know this reason. Even the new family members must know this reason for their life of faith to begin. And our long-standing church leaders must also know this reason to properly fulfill their mission. What is the reason? We all think we know. “Ah, it must be for world evangelization.” But there is a deeper reason. That is why Jesus, from the very beginning, emphasized a part that seemed impossible to understand.

▣ Introduction
[Matthew 6:10, 6:33, Matthew 10:7, Acts 1:3, Acts 19:8]
What did He emphasize? When they asked Him to teach them to pray, He said, “Pray for the Kingdom of God to come.” The disciples could not possibly understand what He meant. “What is He talking about?” So He emphasized it again: “Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” We must understand these words, but the disciples did not. So in verse 32, He even told them, “You don’t need to ask for this or that like unbelievers do.” And later, when sending out His disciples, He said, “Evangelize.” And specifically, “Proclaim that the Kingdom of God has come near.” Then, for forty days before His ascension, He spoke to them for the last time. During those forty days, He explained about the Kingdom of God. But they did not understand the reason. No one could grasp it. Yet in Acts 19:8, we see that Paul understood it. Paul, it says, “spoke boldly” about the Kingdom of God — not merely explaining it lightly, but powerfully and courageously. Even though Jesus Himself had passionately explained it for forty days, Peter never preached about it this way. But Paul proclaimed it with great strength and urgency.

[The Last Days = A Battle Between Two Kingdoms]
From the ascension of Jesus to the day He returns — this period is called “the last days.” When we say “the end times are near,” it means we are nearing the completion of these last days. The term “last days” refers to the entire period between Christ’s resurrection and His second coming. During this entire period, an unceasing battle takes place between two kingdoms — even though most people don’t realize it. But when Christ returns, that will be the end. Until then, the battle between the two kingdoms continues relentlessly. That is why Paul called this a spiritual war. Even now, this battle is taking place. Those who know this receive answers even when they remain still. But those who don’t know this — no matter how hard they try — gain nothing; in fact, the more they try, the more they lose. This battle between the two kingdoms is still happening today. When you understand this, you will quickly realize, “Ah, this is missions!” Let us look closely at what kind of battle this is.

[Destruction (Deception)]
Right now, Satan continues to deceive humanity. He relentlessly drags people toward destruction. If you were to compare it to human terms, Satan is like a swindler — deceiving people and pulling them step by step toward destruction. When did this deception begin? From the very beginning — and it continues even now.

[3, 6, 11]
This begins in Genesis 3. In the Garden of Eden, the deception was: “You will be like God.” That’s the core. And pastors must especially be careful here. “If my ministry succeeds according to my plans, then I’m doing God’s work well” — is that really true? Elders, you must also beware: “If things are going well among us, then we must be doing well” — is that truly correct? Do you realize that this very mindset has caused divisions throughout churches worldwide? Do you know that this is Satan’s strategy? Yes, this is Satan’s scheme — making “me” the center. If salvation depended on me, we’d all fail. Even if you perfectly kept every law, you cannot be saved. That’s right — even if you kept them all, it wouldn’t work. Why? Because original sin would still remain unresolved. If salvation could come through the law, then there would have been no need for Christ to come. That’s how serious this is. Satan uses “me” — my pride, my desires — and leads us straight into destruction. That was the incident in Eden. And before we realize it, without thinking, we live guided by our feelings, our desires, and our possessions — and that leads us straight into becoming “Nephilim,” spiritually captured by Satan. This is how he deceives. It looks like power, doesn’t it? “See? Even without believing in God, people seem strong and successful.” They say, “Let’s build a tower, a city, and make our name great.” That was the Tower of Babel. And this continues even now. But everything built apart from God eventually collapses. This deception is still ongoing.

[13, 16, 19]
But when Satan fails to trap someone easily, he begins to rage violently. There are three stages here. People begin to groan, struggle, and thrash about — but we often mistake this for “effort.” We see someone suffering and say, “Oh, they’re really trying hard.” But no, this is not effort — it’s desperation. People are trapped in Genesis 3, 6, and 11, and they are simply groaning under that weight. And yet, we misinterpret their struggle as perseverance. This is what is recorded in Genesis 13, 16, and 19. These are the stages where people become ensnared by Satan, bound by fortune-telling, trapped in idol worship, and ultimately facing death. Eventually, after trying everything and failing, people simply give up.

[John 8:44, Exodus 20:3–5, Mark 5:1–10, Acts 8:4–8, Luke 16:19–31, Matthew 27:25]
At this point, people have entered the path of destruction. There are six key spiritual states here. First, we become powerless, completely dragged around by the devil. We are unable to resist. Over time, without even realizing it, people begin to worship Satan. Exodus 20:3–5 warns us of this. At first, it seems harmless — but then mental problems arise. Later, in Mark 5, we see a man who had completely lost his mind. It becomes uncontrollable. Stress builds up, and sickness follows. Acts 8:4–8 describes this vividly. This is how Satan establishes his kingdom. That is why Jesus so urgently explained the reality of God’s Kingdom. While we are living on earth, this is where the battle is. Once you leave this life, it’s over — the outcome is sealed. Salvation must be received while your soul is still in your body. Once your soul departs, there is no second chance. That’s why the body is so important. Even heavenly rewards are given only for what we have done while alive — there are no rewards after we leave this world. But there’s an even more shocking truth: even while alive, many people are already living in hell without realizing it. They haven’t reached eternal hell yet, but they are already under its background. They don’t even know heaven and hell exist; they think they’ll find out “once they get there.” That’s the deception. Life under this background is life in hell. Some people say, “If you believe in Jesus, you’ll go to heaven when you die.” That sounds correct, but it’s incomplete. The truth is: if you believe in Jesus, you become a child of God now — before death — and you begin to enjoy the background of the throne now. Then, when your body passes away, of course, you go to heaven. But without Christ, no matter how good someone seems, they are not a child of God — their background is hell, and their life is already one of spiritual suffering. When they die, they inevitably go to eternal destruction. And here’s the even more tragic part: Satan doesn’t just attack you; he targets your descendants too. This is certain. Do not be deceived. The spiritual problems you fail to resolve now will pass directly to the next generation. But if you break these chains, God will turn your life into a powerful platform and raise you as a great worker.

Continuing with the complete, faithful, line-by-line translation from where we left off — following all your instructions exactly.

[John 16:11–14, 2 Corinthians 4:4–5, Matthew 12:26–30, 43–45]
In John 16:11–14, it says that Satan holds us completely captive and reigns like a king over our lives. In 2 Corinthians 4:4–5, it says that Satan, though he is not God, blinds people’s minds and acts as though he were God. In Matthew 12:26–30, we see that Satan has completely built his house within us. Then, in verses 43–45, it says that when someone casts out demons through rituals, the house becomes “clean and empty,” but because it is empty, seven more evil spirits enter. That’s what Scripture says, and that’s exactly what happens. People think they’re free — but now seven more demons take control. Do you see what this means? This is how Satan fully captures people’s lives.

[Christ]
That is why God gave us His urgent covenant. There was absolutely no other way. Human effort could never solve this problem. There’s a hymn that says, “We cannot succeed even by crying, nor by patience.” That’s exactly right. No matter how hard you cry, you cannot overcome this. No matter how much you repent, you cannot escape the grip of Satan on your own. No matter how much strength you muster, you cannot defeat him. It is impossible. The solution is simple: believe. Believe this truth and it will be done. God, wanting to save us, sent Christ. And Christ came and gave this message. Why? Because this was the only way.

[The Throne, the Kingdom, the Work]
There is a reason Jesus gave us this message. He was showing us: “Your background is not hell — your background is the throne.” This reality is happening now. No matter how difficult your situation looks, you must not worry. This work is already taking place. No matter how amazing or capable a person may seem, if they are separated from God, they are still in Satan’s grip. And this reality is still unfolding today. This trap of destruction is being passed down even to our children. But the moment you receive salvation, the power of the throne begins to work within you. This is not just a theory — this is the only true solution. You must believe it.

Think about it: if a thief boards a pirate ship, no matter how “kind” he seems, he’s still a thief, isn’t he? In fact, a good-hearted thief working under a pirate captain is often even more dangerous. In the same way, we were on the wrong ship. That’s why God moved us. Scripture says, “You have crossed over from death to life.” This transfer has already happened. These two spiritual realities — destruction and salvation — are happening now. This is why the Bible says not to be discouraged. God is accomplishing His work right now. When we pray, the power of the throne works, and God’s Kingdom comes upon us. Through God’s Kingdom, His will is fulfilled. Believe this truth. Every blessing is contained in this reality.

[Bartizan, Journey, Guidepost]
So what must we do? From now on, the bartizan of the throne must become yours. The bartizan of the throne must be firmly established within you. Then, you will walk the journey of the throne. And along the way, you will set up the guideposts of the throne — powerful markers where the darkness will be broken.

[Watchmen]
That is why God has called you as watchmen. Without the bartizan, you cannot be a true watchman. Without it, you’re not guarding anything; you’re deceiving others — you’re like a swindler. Even if someone seems upright and admirable, if they are following Satan’s schemes, they’re deceived. But when you follow God’s works, you become a true watchman. This battle between the two kingdoms is urgent and happening now.

▣ Main Message — All Blessings
If you truly understand this, God gives you all blessings. It’s okay if they don’t come immediately. In fact, it’s better if they don’t. Think about today’s praise — how graceful and precious it was. I always say this: if we measured the true value of these choir members, we should pay them ten million won per month! That’s how valuable their praise is before God. And for the conductor? If we were to value their skill, we’d give them one hundred million won per month. But what would happen then? Fake conductors — real swindlers — would flock to the church for money. That’s why we don’t do that. The real servants of praise receive almost nothing, maybe just a little help for transportation, but nothing more. Why? Because they serve from the heart, offering their lives to God in true worship. That is why we must understand: quick answers are not always a blessing. If blessings come too fast, all the wrong people will come running — and the work of God will be hindered.

1. To Whom
God brings all blessings — but to whom? First, we must see who receives them.

[Those Who Block Disasters]
The blessings are given to those who will block disasters. Without them, there is nothing to carry forward. This is very clear.

[RT7]
Think of the seven remnants — RT7. How did God use them? Look at Joseph. Where is Joseph right now? It might sound extreme, but Joseph’s exact position determined God’s timetable for the entire world. Why? Because Joseph was the one who would block disasters. This is certain. Where David was positioned also mattered greatly. Without further explanation, you understand this: God gave all blessings to those who would block disasters.

2. What
Second, what exactly did God give? This is very important.

1) The Angel of the Lord (verse 26)
Today, a remarkable phrase appears: “The angel of the Lord.” God mobilizes His angels like this. In verse 26, it says, “The angel of the Lord…”

2) The Spirit of the Lord (verse 29)
The second phrase is in verse 29: “The Spirit of the Lord said to Philip…”

3) The Spirit of the Lord (verse 39)
And the third phrase appears in verse 39: “The Spirit of the Lord took Philip away.” Though the words sound similar, the context and the situation are different.

The angel of the Lord appeared and told Philip: “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. There you will meet an important Ethiopian official who came to Jerusalem to worship.” He wasn’t on a sightseeing trip — he came to worship and was returning home, reading the book of Isaiah. Imagine if the angel of the Lord spoke directly into your life today — what blessings would unfold! These blessings are happening right now, but so many people miss them. Don’t miss them.

Then, in verse 29, the Holy Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” Philip obeyed, approached, and asked: “Do you understand what you are reading?” The Ethiopian eunuch replied, “How can I, unless someone explains it to me?” So Philip explained the prophecy about Christ. After hearing, the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?” Notice: Philip didn’t tell him to be baptized — the eunuch himself asked for it. Then verse 39 says, “The Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again.” This shows us something important: your ministry has a beginning and an end, but its results are eternal. We must never forget this. All blessings are here.

3. When
Third, when does God fulfill this work?

[Slaves, Captives, Colonies]
Why did God allow His people to become slaves in powerful nations? Why did He allow them to be taken as captives and ruled as colonies? There is a reason.

1) 237
To prevent total destruction, God sent them into nations connected to the 237 nations of the world. And today, He calls us to reach all 237 nations.

2) 5000
God commands us to penetrate the 5000 tribes that are spiritually unreached. Among them are the remote islands of Oceania — miracles are waiting there. We must go into these unreached fields.

3) TCK, CCK, NCK
And we must find the abandoned remnants there — the TCKs, the remnants trapped in cultures of darkness. There are still nations without written language. Some have no shoes, never brush their teeth, live in extreme poverty, and are completely outside the global cultural flow. Yet God is calling us to them. Those who go will surely see God’s works.

▣ Conclusion — [Preparation]
Therefore, we must prepare sincerely. What preparation?

1. A Place of Rest for the Sick and Weary
We must build a proper system inside the church where spiritually sick people can come and find healing. A place where they can pray alone, receive personal counseling, and rest. It doesn’t require much — just a quiet space, even a single small room. Right now, remnants have nowhere to rest. We must create such spaces. This isn’t about facilities — it’s about spiritual eyes. Truly sick people have nowhere to turn for help, so they end up going to cults and heretical groups. Our focus shouldn’t be on criticizing those groups — we must make sure people don’t need to go there in the first place. Likewise, multiethnic families need a place where they can feel, “This is my home.” We must prepare such spaces.

2. Miracles
When we do this, we’ll witness miracles. Think about missions trips overseas: we go, we evangelize, and a disciple emerges. But then, to raise that disciple, we must invest years of training, eventually bring them to Korea, pay for their travel, teach them, and then send them back to their nations. That takes so much time, effort, and money. But today, God has already brought these multiethnic disciples to us. This itself is a miracle. But we must be careful: we must not teach them the wrong thing. If Philip had taught the Ethiopian eunuch the Law instead of Christ, he would have been cursed. Philip explained Christ — nothing else. The eunuch was baptized and returned to his nation, becoming an instrument of God’s work. That is a miracle.

3. One Person — One Nation
Those who came here are now returning to their nations and doing God’s work 100 times better than we could. I am constantly amazed. Those who went to Peru, Vanuatu, Bangladesh — they were here, and after understanding their mission, they are now powerfully evangelizing their countries. This is a miracle. In truth, even one person can change an entire nation. You — one person — can pray for one nation and see God’s works there.

We must understand why God brings all answers. Until Christ returns, the invisible battle between the two kingdoms will continue. We are in this battle. That is why your future generations must be equipped with spiritual strength. But many parents fail here — they give their children everything except spiritual power. And as a result, our children collapse under extreme pressure. Especially in competitive environments, children are being crushed. Some even lose their minds. There was a case where a son of a wealthy businessman completely broke down mentally, came here, and was healed. It’s not about blaming success; it’s about realizing what’s missing: spiritual strength. Without it, no amount of worldly success can save you.

That is why we must raise remnants who truly understand the gospel and live victoriously in prayer. And when multiethnic disciples come to us, we must help them discard all worldly motives and understand the true gospel. Like Obadiah in Scripture, when they return to their countries, they must return not just with “knowledge” but with spiritual power to save others. This is our mission: to save people, nations, and future generations. Without multiethnic missions, the world will fall into greater spiritual darkness.

Look at the physical world today — pollution, disease, and global crises spread everywhere. That’s serious, but far more serious is the spiritual pandemic spreading worldwide. There is only one cure: Christ. Darkness does not fear your strength. Satan is not intimidated by your skills. He laughs at your wealth. But Satan trembles before Christ alone. May you enter into this great blessing this week in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer. Father God, we give You praise. Allow us to triumph in the battle between the two kingdoms. Let Your Kingdom be established to save the entire world. Let Your Kingdom come upon our future generations. Let Your Kingdom be fulfilled among the multiethnic peoples. We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Believers Who Save the Servants of the Lord

2025.09.07 Sunday 1st Service
RTS Sunday
Scripture Reading: 1 Kings 18:1-15

▣ Introduction: First Receive Strength and Answers
Today is the day when we keep RTS Sunday across our nation and the world. As I prepared the message, I especially thought, “Today is the day to receive double economic blessing.” I always prepare my offering in advance, so since we need to give to our church and also to RTS, we receive double blessing. Now, we should of course pray for RTS today, but first you must obtain that strength. While we live, there are times when we face very great difficulties.

In today’s text, such a thing had never happened in history. King Ahab kept 850 false prophets of Baal and Asherah right in the royal palace. That alone would have been bad enough, but he actually killed the true prophets with the sword. What should we do at such a time? No one could defeat the king or resolve this difficult problem.
The figures who appear then are Elijah and Elisha, but the even more important figure is the church leader Obadiah. Obadiah made a critical decision. But how could he do this? What is the answer you must firmly hold today? It is not most important to ask what the crisis is and what we should do.

1. Obadiah, who possessed the secret of prayer called 24, 25, and eternity
Obadiah possessed the secret of prayer called 24, 25, and eternity. Today you must surely hold to this. Those who have received the answer of God’s power need nothing else. Problems, conflicts, crises—they are not fearful.

1) David
Let me mention just one remnant as an example. David, from his youth, already had the ability to enjoy God’s answers. You must pray for this today. Because he had this power, nothing became a problem.

2) Hebrews chapter 11
Hebrews chapter 11 gathers only people of faith. Verse 38 records this: “People of whom the world was not worthy.” They are not afraid.

3) Paul
Especially someone like Paul—what came before evangelism? “Pray in the Spirit on all occasions.” In 2 Corinthians chapter 12 he says, “Whether I was in the body or out of the body I do not know,” indicating how deeply he entered into the power of prayer. You must surely discover this.

2. The answer Obadiah received – 300%
To put it simply, Obadiah, a church leader, first received two kinds of answers to save the ministers.

1) A person prepared 300% as a disciple of evangelism
He was Elijah’s disciple of evangelism who served God. As I put it, he was prepared 300% as a disciple of evangelism.

2) A person prepared 300% as a servant to the king
Another thing: he was a servant of Ahab. Remarkable, isn’t it? Elijah and Ahab were enemies—sworn enemies. Obadiah was a person who received 300% of the answer as a court servant. This is the key. This is the key you and the remnants must hold today. He was Elijah’s disciple—and at the same time a servant trusted by the king. Does nothing come to mind? Elijah and Ahab were enemies. Here an important matter arises with Obadiah. Today you must pray, “Grant me the power and answer to accomplish world evangelization and to save the world.” Nothing else will do.
When David received answers, no problem troubled him. In Israel’s history the greatest problem came, and Obadiah stepped forward to resolve it. He risked his life to save the ministers. He was a person prepared 300% as a disciple of evangelism, and 300% as a servant.

3) 300% – Filled with the Holy Spirit
I always emphasize this: What is 300%?

(1) Me 100% prepared
It means that what God has given concerning me is prepared 100%.

(2) The field 100% prepared
The field is prepared 100%. Isn’t that right?

(3) The future 100% prepared
The future is prepared 100%. If you cannot find this, it is a serious matter. You will not accomplish world evangelization. You might barely manage to get by, but is that God’s will? No. All remnants and church leaders must firmly hold the covenant. Seeing that 300% power, I am convinced this is being filled with the Holy Spirit. That is the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Therefore Obadiah held this covenant exactly.

▣ Main Message: Obadiah Who Enjoyed Three Things in the Age of Crisis
1. The hidden provider for 100 disciples
In this age of crisis he enjoyed something important—first, he was the hidden provider who concealed and raised 100 disciples. Isn’t that amazing? He hid 100 prophets whom the king had ordered to be killed.

1) The servant most trusted by Elijah and most needed by the king
How is this possible? He was the most faithful disciple to Elijah and the most needed servant to the king. This is the answer. To our young adults and remnants: when you go out, don’t say, “People ignore me; at the company they…” Don’t say you’re upset. It means I am not necessary. Isn’t that so? Get a grip. If people say I am not needed, who is wrong? Not those people—I am. The more wicked people are, the more they like those who are necessary. You must hold this firmly. In Ahab’s eyes, Obadiah was an extremely necessary servant. Do you think Ahab truly didn’t know that Obadiah had hidden 100 prophets? I think he knew. How could he not? Yet Ahab did not kill Obadiah. And Obadiah was Elijah’s most trusted disciple. This is the one who hid the 100. What happened then?

2) The intermediary role in the Mount Carmel incident
The Mount Carmel incident broke out. As the provider who hid the 100 disciples, he then played the intermediary role when the Carmel event erupted. What was it? Elijah asked Obadiah: “Tell King Ahab. Do all the go-between work.” Why? Because he was the one who could. “Tell him that we will hold a spiritual battle on Mount Carmel with the 850 false prophets to see who is true.” Then Obadiah said, “Are you trying to have me killed? If Ahab finds out I hid 100 prophets, I will die; and now you want me to say this too?” Elijah spoke with assurance: “The king will see me. Go and tell him.” Think about the situation.

Obadiah went and told him: “Let’s have a spiritual contest on Mount Carmel to determine whether the prophets of Baal and Asherah are true or the faith in the LORD is true.” Who told the king? Obadiah did. And King Ahab said, “Okay.”

3) Complete victory in spiritual warfare
Thus a tremendous spiritual battle took place on Mount Carmel. They won a complete victory. All the false prophets were executed. The forces of darkness were utterly broken. Because of one man, Obadiah, who knew what the ministers of the LORD must do, such things happened.

2. The hidden supporter of the 7,000 disciples
Second, Obadiah was the hidden backer of the 7,000 disciples. He had already served as the provider of the 100; now he stood behind and supported the far greater number—the 7,000. At this time the evidence of Mount Horeb arose.

1) When Elijah, who faced the crisis of death, collapsed under the broom tree
After defeating the false prophets, the palace should have surrendered—but Jezebel said, “Kill Elijah.” “Kill Elijah at once.” In his urgency Elijah fled. He fled without eating or sleeping. As you know, exhausted, he collapsed under a broom tree. Then he prayed honestly: “God, I can’t do this anymore. Everyone has forsaken You, and I alone am left. I am going to die. Just take me.” That was Elijah’s prayer. Then God sent His angel to touch Elijah, heal him, and give him food.

2) The Word given at Mount Horeb
Receiving that strength, Elijah traveled not just forty days but forty days and nights to Mount Horeb. There God spoke: “I have 7,000 disciples besides you. Raise up Elisha. Appoint him as your successor. Do not worry. I will replace King Ahab.” God said He would change him. Such an astounding work began again at Mount Horeb.

3) Obadiah, the hidden supporter
Who was the hidden backer and supporter in all this? It was Obadiah. This does not mean you must do many things. If you receive the strength God gives, you can do what is needed. You must hold that covenant.
The God who was with Obadiah is with you; hold that covenant now. However much other theories are attempted, they are wrong. You must hold the covenant accurately. If you receive the strength God gives, you can save the church. Only the strength God gives can save my family line. RU and RTS, and RTS throughout the world, can be raised. This is what is being made known now.
From this point, other works began to arise. To what extent did Obadiah receive answers? He was not merely the provider for 100; he was the backer of the 7,000. This is the answer you must surely hold.

3. The disciple who mobilized the heavenly army
Third, he was the disciple who mobilized the heavenly army. Where? In the city of Dothan. The connection extends even to this. This is now beyond the 7,000; countless disciples and the heavenly armies are mobilized.

1) Elisha, who from the beginning received this power of God as his heavenly mandate
Elisha from the beginning received this power of God as his calling and heavenly mandate.

(1) Setting out to follow Elijah, abandoning everything at the greatest crisis
At the greatest crisis, when Elijah called him, he abandoned everything without condition and followed. It was his heavenly mandate.

(2) Elisha, who without calculating followed to the end and sought a double portion of the spirit
Others calculated—how to eat, how to live—but not Elisha. He followed to the end, even to the Jordan. What did he say? “Grant me a double portion of your spirit.” That is what must be asked.

(3) Elisha, who initiated the Dothan movement
Such an Elisha finally initiated the Dothan movement.

2) The prayer power Elisha possessed
What happened? To what extent did Elisha have the power of prayer? He knew where the Aramean army was coming and going. In such matters there was a backer—Obadiah.
The king of Aram said, “It seems there is a spy among us. Wherever our army goes, the Israelite army lies in wait and strikes us. What is this?” Then one wise servant said, “No, it is because of the prophet named Elisha. He is a man of much prayer and knows all our movements. We must eliminate Elisha.” So the king of Aram ordered, not “Kill Elisha,” but “Capture Elisha alive and bring him.” Since the king commanded, and Aram was a great nation, armies came and surrounded the city to seize Elisha.
But in that city, a great number of disciples had gathered and were praying. Scripture records: “Those who were with us—the heavenly hosts—were far more than the Aramean army.” The servant whose eyes were darkened cried, “Master, we are in great trouble! The Aramean army has surrounded us.” Elisha said, “O LORD, open this servant’s eyes.” These are different eyes. When his spiritual eyes were opened, heavenly armies surrounded the Arameans on the outside. To the extent of Elisha’s power, he prayed, “Strike the Aramean army with blindness.” And they were all struck with blindness. Leading those blinded soldiers, they were brought along, thinking, “We are doomed.”
What happened? The king of Israel asked Elisha—note, in the past King Ahab killed prophets, but now this king called Elisha “My father.” He asked, “My father, what shall we do with these troops? Shall we strike off their heads and send them back?” Elisha said no. They set before them good food and held a feast. What do you think happened? “O LORD, open the eyes of the Aramean army.” Their eyes were opened—and a banquet had been prepared in abundance. Do you think they would attack again easily? Scripture records, “The Aramean raiders did not come into the land of Israel again.”

3) The devotion of one believer who knows God’s power completely saved the age.
The devotion of one believer who knows God’s power completely saved the age.
There is no time. You must make a decision today. Students, if you go out without this power, you will struggle all your life. Do not be deceived. Do not be deceived by people’s words. Hold to God’s Word. Truly. I have seen many: believers who are utterly pressed by poverty, people who cannot even maintain themselves. What is evangelism? There are so many who cannot even sustain themselves. This must change quickly. Young adults must make a decision now. If you do not decide now, you will cause your descendants to suffer even after you marry. Decide now. There is no excuse. Because Obadiah possessed this power, it was not only 100 or 7,000—there arose a work that saved the whole Aramean nation. You must make this decision. Therefore we must raise RTS throughout our nation and the world to produce such disciples and ministers who know God’s power.

▣ Conclusion: Resolution
1. Hold to the covenant
We have an RTS team meeting at 1:30 today; I plan to speak then. I have seen since I was young: it is not otherwise. We can save the world by God’s power. Hold this firmly as your covenant today.

2. Resolve.
So you must decide. What do I mean?

1) Grant us the strength to see God’s power within events.
“Grant us the strength to see God’s power within events.”
2) Let us not miss the age, like Obadiah.
“Let us not miss the age, like Obadiah.” We must pray this.
3) Grant us the strength to win without fighting.
To the point that Elisha knew even where the Aramean army was coming. Without fighting, they simply toyed with them. Win without fighting. “Grant us this strength.”

3. Be resolved and pray
I prayed with resolve. I had seen the adults. Having seen once is enough. I saw the adults and was convinced it could not be otherwise. I always say this: I passed through six places. It was not otherwise. The seventh church is our Immanuel Church—Busan and Seoul here. Without God’s true power, it cannot be done. World evangelization cannot be done. What is world evangelization? People say, “I can barely survive.” This must change quickly. You must pray this week: “God, grant me power sufficient to raise RTS disciples across the nation and the world.” That is God’s will.

1) The church leader who helped Martin Luther
Let me give just one example. One church leader staked his life to save the minister in this age of crisis. This changed the world. Who was it? The church leader who helped Martin Luther. It is tremendous. When I see that, I see that history was transformed.

2) The Australian believers who helped Missionary Mackenzie
Another miracle occurred. A man named Mackenzie first went to Vanuatu as a missionary. He became ill. Understandable. He fell ill in Vanuatu, but there were people who did not abandon him and helped Missionary Mackenzie. Where did he come? He came to Korea—to Busan, no less—and again became ill. Ordinary laypeople, church leaders, would have abandoned a person so ill. But they helped him again. Later, even when he could no longer work, they still helped him. Do you understand? Many of you would have recommended that he resign. His daughter came instead. Those daughters, seeing how poor Korea was—women dying in childbirth—first established a hospital to help them. At that time they had no means, so they went to the U.S. military base, obtained surplus beds, and outfitted the hospital. I began to attend church there, and now it is connected to Vanuatu. Do you know what that place is? It is a gate to the 5,000 tribes. Ah—how wondrously God works. Those Australian believers who helped a few ministers—these people turned the world upside down.

3) Our prayer
You must know that value. And without any other reason, you must hold the promise of the power God gives. “In the remaining years of my life, let me raise many seminary students among the many of the next generation who will correctly proclaim the gospel and send them into the world.” You must pray this. “Thus let us experience God’s power.” There is no other way. “Let us experience God’s invisible power. Now mobilize the heavenly army that You sent to Elisha.” This is our prayer. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today will be a day of great answers.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Grant us the ability to raise seminary students; grant us the ability to revive RTS; grant us the ability to restore and raise the RTS movement throughout the world. Let today be the start. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Construct A New Temple

2025.08.31 Sunday 2nd Service
Church Construction Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: Haggai 2:6-9

We must carry the secret of continually enjoying answers through the Word. The person who did this best was David. Because the temple David prepared was destroyed, God commanded that the temple be rebuilt.

[Word (watchtower)]
What you must never miss on Sunday is this: always hold to the Word living and working. This has existed from of old. We call this the watchtower.

[Prayer (journey)]
And prayer must actually be living and working. Only then can you go on the journey.

[Evidence (landmarks)]
And real answers actually took place. Real evidences arose. These are landmarks. David was the one who enjoyed this best. Then, as you continue this covenant, what answers arise?

[Triune God, darkness, the Kingdom]
At such times, the Triune God surely works invisibly—now. When you hold to this covenant, darkness is broken even before you go anywhere. If you know this, you cannot help but pray. Those who don’t know this find prayer very difficult. At such times the Kingdom of God and its works are surely fulfilled. In fact, this is what Jesus taught: “Pray for God’s Kingdom to come—don’t do other things. When darkness is bound, the Kingdom of God has come.”

[Lifetime prayer topic]
At such times, your lifelong prayer topics and answers become connected. So what naturally came out for David was temple construction.

“Build a New Temple” (Haggai 2:6–9)
Since the temple was gone, build a new one. We read Haggai 2:6–9 today. When we receive God’s Word and read the Bible, the greatest caution is that we tend to interpret with our heads, and that feels understandable—that’s the mistake. The Israelites had not even returned yet—only just starting to come out—yet God said, “Build the temple first.” Even when they came out of Egypt, before they had even arrived, He said, “Bring out all you have and make the tabernacle.” It doesn’t make sense, does it? Because it doesn’t make sense, people do not believe. And if it did make sense, it wouldn’t be God’s Word. To the fleeing Early Church He said, “Do world evangelization.” Which proved right in the end? God’s Word did. So when we view this covenant—building the new temple from now—the answers David had are even more important.

You, too, must start like this now. Today some of you worship briefly here and go; some worship all day; and some don’t come to the sanctuary at all. What must those who worship all day hold to? These three must be confirmed (Word/watchtower, evidence/landmarks, prayer/journey). If you just look at the flow, you can grasp exactly where you are now. When this continues, your lifelong matters become visible. And, between these two sides, what is happening now is this (Triune God, darkness, Kingdom). It’s tremendous. Because I believe that for certain, I think, “Nothing else is needed. No need to use humanism—just pray.” What do I mean will happen? World evangelization. If world evangelization does not happen, it is not an answer. Eating a lot? You can go to a restaurant and eat a lot—how is that an answer? Earning lots of money? Conglomerates make lots of money; how many receive disaster with their money—how is that an answer? Through you, darkness must be broken and world evangelization must arise—that is an answer.

Many churches are closing and wandering now. I believe that is wrong. European churches have closed; young people are caught in drugs and wholly in homosexuality. I consider that a curse. In many advanced countries, churches are shaken and closing en masse; with so many closing, mental illness is spreading. Failing to block that is the greatest sin and curse. If your studies are used for world evangelization, there is no greater blessing, right? For our church officers, many professionals, and remnants—if your work is used for world evangelization, there is no greater blessing.

▣ Introduction: Causes of the temple’s destruction
We must know the causes of the temple’s destruction. There are several.

  1. Solomon
First, it began with Solomon. When the temple was properly built, doors to the whole world opened—but they didn’t know why. If you truly build the temple God desires, all the doors of the world open. To what extent? The kings of the world considered it their wish to meet Israel’s king. That’s how it was. Chief among their interests was to see the new temple. Those who don’t understand these answers (above) fall into confusion—so many people coming. Thus Solomon made a mistake: he summoned and linked global talents. He brought in men and women—many talents—by the thousands into the royal court.

Solomon thought he had achieved great success. He didn’t realize this blessing was because of the temple; he thought he had tremendous wisdom. His later regret appears in Ecclesiastes. But in reality, he did wield such power. The foreign talents asked Solomon, “We’re so bored and weary. The kings ordered us here, but we’re struggling—we can’t even get around. We have a request: allow us to serve the gods we serve.” At their earnest plea, Solomon made a mistake, thinking it reasonable: “Right, you must be bored—okay.” Especially in Jerusalem, idols spread over the whole city. Then the nation split.

This was the starting point of the temple problem. You must know what the temple is, that we must build it, and what answers we should receive—know the roots well.

  1. Hezekiah
Second, because of King Hezekiah. He was remarkable. As soon as he became king he contacted Assyria: “We can’t send tribute anymore. My father sent it, but why must we pay you? You are your nation; we are ours. We will not send it.” A bold king. Mighty Assyria replied, “Fine—wait,” and marched with 185,000 troops. Hezekiah defeated them—by prayer, to summarize. The whole world was abuzz: “How did they defeat Assyria?” Later he fell ill but again overcame by prayer. He is one of the three good kings—David, Hezekiah, Josiah.

One day there was a banquet in the palace—like today’s summit meeting of world presidents. They gathered in Israel to congratulate Hezekiah. Many asked, “How did you defeat Assyria? And how did you overcome your illness?” At that moment, the faithful Hezekiah made a mistake. He should have said, “By the Lord God’s grace I prevailed.” Instead, he gave them an exact tour of the palace—then the temple: “This is our temple,” showing it off. Worse, he showed the royal treasury (the private storehouses). People easily become like that—“This is who I am.” Among the guests, a Babylonian strategist thought, “This is tremendous. I will one day take it.” With time, they invaded, took all the sacred articles, burned the temple—everything.

Those are distant causes.

  1. The three courts – the three feasts
The real cause? The three courts and the three feasts disappeared. World missions stalled; they could not preach the gospel to the nations; they could not heal the sick. God naturally removed it. So around 600–580 B.C. (various datings), they wiped out the temple. They took all the talented people into captivity—leaving those of little value. The smart ones were summoned to the palace—that’s Daniel. As we saw in the first service today, someone like Ezekiel was not in the palace but dragged to the field. This is the temple issue. Please hold this in your heart and pray. However you may think, those small works among the multiethnic now will later be tied to eternal blessing—you will see later.

▣ Main
What kind of new temple should be built? Since we must pray over this during the week, briefly:

  1. David’s temple
Build the temple David received by covenant.

1) The ark of the covenant
Restore the temple that housed the ark David so longed for.

2) Most Holy Place and Holy Place
Restore the temple that had the Most Holy Place and the Holy Place.

3) Tabernacle-centered, tent of meeting–centered, tent-centered
In the wilderness before David, they lived wholly tabernacle-centered. And what they did most was worship. Yet their wisdom was the greatest in the world. The most sacrificial offerings were given there. And they seized the economy. As people gathered, it became tent-of-meeting–centered. More: the doorways of every house were oriented toward the tabernacle. Tents, too. Restore this.

  1. A temple for all peoples
Second, rebuild a temple that will save all peoples. It’s simple—mentioned earlier.

1) The era of the three courts
These three courts—saving the nations, the children, and the sick—were crucial. Not just that: open the era of the three courts. Such a time had not existed—therefore, open it.

2) The fire of 24, the Fri–Sat–Sun era
Light the fire of 24. What is that? The Friday–Saturday–Sunday era. Light the fire.

3) The era of meditation, the blood sacrifice
Truly open the era of meditation that will save the world. Here a very important term appears: consider most important the offering of the blood sacrifice.

Try it. Many still don’t understand. Many pastors scoff: “We know the gospel too—what more?” It’s not “knowing” the gospel. This is enormous. Without this, you cannot overcome the absolute disaster. Through your prayers, much labor has been given in our Immanuel Seoul Church this year. Works are unfolding where darkness over the 5,000 people groups is being broken through the multiethnic.

  1. The future temple
Rebuild the temple that will save the future. Why?

1) A temple that will block disaster
Prepare a temple that will block worldwide disasters. Even your small work is a ministry that blocks disaster. Hold it spiritually, powerfully, and remember. Pastors nationwide—when you go to preach, you don’t need to preach my sermons or invert previous messages. Proclaim the Word that blocks disaster, which God is fulfilling. A pastor who “preaches well” is not what’s good. What is “well”? Crafting words? That’s bad. Whether they understand or not, deliver the most important things of God’s Word. We must block disaster. As I carry on this covenant, even writing one song a year is hard. But praying much over it—I wondered, “Can this be done, being so hard?” Yet, “That’s your thought—do it by the covenant.” Right? It remains in history. A temple to block disaster.

2) 237–5000
A temple that will save 237 nations and 5,000 people groups.

3) RT
A temple to save remnants—especially TCKs who have lost their way; CCKs living in a darkness culture where the gospel is not heard at all; and even children with no culture at all—NCKs.

I say this with apology, but some lively children came, and they brushed their teeth for the first time in their lives here. Imagine the environment—yet that was one of the better places. Those who came didn’t even know where or how they were sick. They came to attend a conference, and we were led by the Spirit to have them get comprehensive medical checks—everyone had illness. A former president came near death and left alive. We didn’t try to do anything special; simply, love looked after them. Simon has come back to life three times. He even asked to take me as his elder brother—fine. There are many such cases.

We haven’t done anything “well.” By the conscience of faith, if it is the gospel, then we must see the gospel go into them. It’s not about us or our church doing well. Now that these many multiethnic people have come here by such an opportunity, we must help them hear the gospel, be trained, and go to evangelize.

▣ Conclusion
What does the conclusion say? “Thus says the LORD: I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. It is the word of the LORD.”

  1. Heaven-and-earth upheaval
“Heavens and earth” simply put means a cosmic upheaval. This gospel will truly shake heaven and earth.
  2. Shaking of the nations
And, “I will shake all nations.” Not only the land.
  3. Glory
More importantly, “The latter glory will be greater than the former.” That is the promise.

Now, holding to this (above) covenant, you must surely seize lifelong answers this time. You must experience at least once what the power of the Word is. You must confirm how the work of the Word moves your business and your studies. Even now when I think of it, I can hardly understand how God’s Word would work like this. “Ah, it works like this.” I’m thinking we must organize it well and pass it to the next generation.

You must make one resolution to restore such important things. From the beginning until now I have been the same: “What cannot evangelize, poverty, ignorance, sickness, and incompetence—we will change that.” I resolved that. Those new to faith and those alone in faith—resolve to completely change your family line before our next generation. If my work and industry cannot be used for world evangelization, then change it. Change it. When many ministers hold to this covenant, figures begin to arise. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that this answer will continue throughout this week. Let us pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Grant new grace this week. Give new strength to all who attend worship. Bestow special grace on those who are sick and cannot attend. Work with the power of the heavenly throne for remnants scattered across the world. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
