2025.08.26 August 237 Tuesday Disciple Training
Lecture 1
▣ Introduction
From today, those of you who have come to the conference must check and confirm this. Also, church members must finish the Core Meeting and then go on Sunday and confirm it during worship. Because this part is what is most not being done, you must surely confirm it. ‘The Living, Working Word of God.’
▸Matthew 4:19, Matthew 11:28, Mark 3:13–15, Acts 1:8
In my own case, in the past I had many difficulties, and works did not arise in me. But Matthew 4:19—“Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men”—and Matthew 11:28—“Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden”—came to me very comfortably. From that time the Word worked alive in me. Through Mark 3:13–15 I received even greater grace: the Lord called those whom He wanted; not what I wanted, but God, Christ, called those He wanted—in order to be with Him, also to do evangelism, and, a term I had never thought of, “to give them authority to cast out demons.” Through this Word I confirmed that the peoples of the whole world are seized by demon-culture; the three-organization Nephilim culture is demon-culture; in underdeveloped countries it is entirely demon-culture. Why would Jesus say these words? What gives even more grace is Acts 1:8—“you will be My witnesses,” not “you should become”; He said “you will be.” From that time the Word continually worked alive. The Word must work alive in the church members.
▸Rockefeller
The nation that has moved the world is America, and in America John D. Rockefeller Sr. touched my heart. He prayed all day during worship and received the Word, then prayed with that Word for six days, and works arose. If only we would worship well, that would suffice, but our worship is not going well. You must find every answer in worship.
▸Wanamaker
He considered worship so important that he refused the post of Postmaster General because worship and children’s Sunday School were more precious than a cabinet post.
▸Lincoln
In failures he held to Galatians 3:28 (“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus”). This Word worked alive, and Lincoln remained in history as the leader of Black emancipation. When worship is over, church members must first search out the Living, Working Word of God.
▸The Bible
Those who received answers in the Bible did this well. In Jeremiah 33:1–9, Jeremiah was imprisoned for speaking about Babylon, bearing the charge of being pro-Babylon; at that time the Word came: “When Jeremiah was confined in the court of the guard, the word of the LORD came to him a second time.” “The LORD who does it”—God answered that Jeremiah’s being put in prison was the LORD’s doing. “The LORD who forms it to establish it”—through this, God intends to do something. More important: “Call to Me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
★Since you are all evangelism disciples, you must not miss the pulpit Word.
1. Pastors are to proclaim the Word that will be fulfilled. Then it suffices.
2. Church members are to enjoy the Word that has been fulfilled and go forth. Though it is the same statement, Acts 2:14–21 contains Peter’s sermon, where both appear: the Word to be fulfilled and the Word that has been fulfilled. The promise given to the prophet Joel was fulfilled, and Peter testified to the Word that would be fulfilled. In this way it is important that the Word works alive. So today, if you receive just this one blessing, it will suffice.
▣ Main – Three Flows
In order for this to happen, you must not miss three flows.
1. The flow of world evangelization
From the beginning God gave the gospel flow called world evangelization. This flow was given from the very beginning. It is not a matter of fit; first you must see these three flows. 1) Genesis 12:1–3. The one who missed this flow was Abraham, and the one who found it again was Abraham. Because world evangelization did not seem to fit him, he missed it; later, once he discovered he exactly fit world evangelization, works began to arise. “Go to the land that I will show you,” “All the families of the earth shall be blessed through you”—how is this done? Go to the land He indicates; that seems vague, but it means follow the Word—more concretely, follow the flow of the Word—most concretely, follow the flow of the Word of world evangelization, especially when other things are not going well. 2) Genesis 3:15. Therefore this Word comes: “The offspring of the woman will bruise the serpent’s head.” Christ will break Satan’s authority. Those who followed this covenant flow surely lived. Then they forgot. Exodus 3:18—restore the blood sacrifice; though it may seem like nothing, it means restore the gospel; follow the covenant that overcomes darkness. They kept forgetting—because there were many “good” things. Again they were taken captive. Isaiah 7:14—He prophesied in advance: “The virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.” Those who held to this covenant overturned Babylon. After all, it is world evangelization. 3) Then once more: seven disasters came. There were people who held to the covenant here: (1) Parents—whether very small or very great, Exodus 2:1–10, they planted the covenant and the world began to be revived. (2) Leaders—at any time there was a leader; even a leader whose strength was gone, like Eli, guided Samuel, asking that the voice God gave be transmitted to him, blessing and guiding Samuel so that he would follow the living Word of God. (3) Remnants—in every age of disaster, remnants held to the covenant; though the process had much to deceive, and though it seemed not to work, it was surely fulfilled. If you remove the gospel flow, all die; if you miss the power of the Word that carries the gospel, it is of no use.
2. The flow of the pulpit
Even today, check the flow of the pulpit. No. 1 is the flow of the entire Bible, and No. 2 is the pulpit’s flow within that. 1) The flow of the Word—the pulpit’s flow means the flow in which God’s Word is fulfilled, whether in the preacher or the hearer; finding this is Sunday worship. 2) The flow of prayer—there is a prayer flow according to the Word’s flow. 3) The flow of evangelism—there is an evangelism flow that follows; you hold this on Sunday; when these are combined, the living Word works, and we go to the field. 4) The flow of the field—if you see it, you cannot help but save the field. 5) Do not “take charge of one nation”; see the flow. ★All of this is in Acts 2. Because this flow differs daily and weekly, check it daily and weekly; only then does the Word work alive, and because of you the church cannot help but be revived.
3. The flow of the essence
Here is where most fail. 1) Acts 11:1–18 vs. Acts 11:19–30. There is a dual contrast. You must not miss the essence flow. Those who received such grace in the Mark’s upper room, in Acts 11:1–18, speak words completely off the essence; the church that arose then was Antioch—God changed the important thing and had Antioch play a crucial role (Acts 11:19–30). It is simple, yet we keep missing the essence. No matter how outstanding one is, if the essence is missed, it is wrong. From childhood I have watched many films about Moses; most miss the essence. If you miss the essence, you always lose to darkness; if you hold the essence, you always win. Do not worry about revival; that worry comes from missing the essence. There is no “whether it works or not”; just follow the essence. It is not “Please let us save [things]”; it is “Whether He saves or whether we die, either is fine.” Throughout Scripture, those who rode the essence flow lived. Daniel 6:10—though he knew the king’s sealed decree, he said it was fine. The medieval church became difficult because it completely missed the essence. If you miss the essence, then this happens: 2) 2 Corinthians 10:4–5. Another bartizan arises inside me; from then on, though I seem to speak truth, it is useless. And more: 4) John 16:11–14. The things of the world become better—the ruler of this world, the devil. 5) 2 Corinthians 4:4–5. The money of this life becomes better—the god of this world. Those who completely found the essence accomplished world evangelization. You must enter that living, moving Word—truly try it—and church members must enter it. Not to boast, but in reality I neither know nor care what the church or headquarters budget is; they will handle it well. If you keep deviating from the essence, you will miss God’s tremendous works. Riding the flows of 1, 2, and 3 is the beginning of the secret of receiving answers. Lecture 2 will restore living, working prayer together with the three flows, and Lecture 3 must show actual evangelism and missions. Evangelism disciples must not miss today’s lecture; confirm God’s Word and make it yours. When this happens, church members even receive healing during Sunday worship, and as they receive grace from the Word, their spiritual problems disappear.
▣ Conclusion
After worship, what is it to hold the covenant and pray? Three big things. As you worship—on Sunday, during the Core—1. Fundamental power arises and healing arises. This is how healing must take place—when God’s Word works in me. 2. Imprinting, root, and nature are overturned. Only God’s Word can do this; because the Word works alive, my imprinting, root, and nature become of no use—this is how healing takes place—and because God’s Word works alive, and is bound within prayer, 3. The work of re-creation arises. This is Galatians 2:20 and 2 Corinthians 5:17—“a new creation… the old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” From now on, enjoy it now. At the moment you receive today’s Word, search so that this comes home to you. You must see the flow, but the Word must work alive in you; only then will you see next Sunday’s flow. If not, it becomes hardship. In a sense, do not worry about evangelism—why worry? Be a witness to the person you meet. Do not worry about revival—why worry? Go as God desires. If God blesses, even one person suffices; if God works, even a person without ability will suffice. Therefore convey the accurate gospel to other church members as well. Why must we proclaim the gospel? If it is not the gospel, even my problems are not solved; if it is not the gospel, you cannot solve others’ problems. Looking at Missionary Kang in Japan—a gentleman, a man of few words—without being asked he said, “When cancer came and death approached, nothing else was needed. Only the gospel, only Christ, only the power were needed.” Now his health is restored and he is faithfully ministering. The Word must work alive. The people of Hebrews 11 were like this; the people of Romans 16 were like this. For the remaining time, enjoy your meal and arm yourselves with the living Word.
Prayer. We thank God. May the Word that works alive come upon us today. Let all darkness, curses, and problems around us be bound. Let our field and church come alive by the life movement. Let today be a day of receiving great strength. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
