Distortion and Change

Prayer Journal: November 18, 2025

Scripture Reading: Exodus 1:10-22

A long time ago, I went to the marketplace to evangelize. I went often because one of our deaconesses was there. She sold things like socks and towels. Right next to her, there was another shop that I passed by often, and I noticed that this person didn’t really “do” retail sales. He had employees and everything, but he wasn’t running the shop the same way. One day I realized why. Early in the morning, at a set appointment time, the goods needed in Seoul would come down, and all the neighborhood middle wholesalers who needed to buy clothes for their areas would gather there. They would buy everything and take it away. So this man would make several million won in the morning, close the store, and—this was long ago—go play golf. Our deaconess, on the other hand, how much did she earn on a single pair of socks? She made 100 won. There was no way to keep up with that. Once, I went to Japan for a conference and stayed there for several days. There was a store in front of where I was staying. I watched it for three days, and not a single customer went inside. The lights were on and someone was inside, but not one customer went in. I was so curious that I asked the missionary, “Nobody ever goes in or out of that store. Can they really do business like that?” The missionary told me that this was a store that had been in business for several generations. The customers order everything before the goods even arrive, and then the store just sends everything out immediately. The only staff there are people who do the delivery errands. Why am I telling you this? The gospel is 300%. Why is that? The gospel is 300% because it solves the past, the present, and the future all together. Mt Calvary, Mt Olive, and Mark’s upper room are 300%. The 7·7·7 are 300%. Right? And once this is established, your heavenly mandate, calling, and mission all come out. That is 300%. How should we do it? It must be done in what is rightful, inevitable, and absolute. With what content? Only, uniqueness, and re-creation. When do we do it? 24, 25, and eternity. That is what 300% means. Put simply, it is a very simple message. That is why, especially for our remnants, if you prepare even a little—if you have specialization, field-centeredness, and a bit of a system for the future—you become 300%. Our 3 concentrations, 3 settings, and 3 answers are that 300%. If I just prepare a little, it becomes that way. It is not difficult at all, so whatever you do should be done like that. You can start easily and finish easily. Simply ask, “What is the one thing I really must do?” and find that. Then ask, “What is absolutely needed in the field?” and find that. Then ask, “What is something I must surely do for the future?” and find that. If you continue to pray, your health will come, margin will come, and strength will come.

If this does not take place, you end up degenerating. Once something degenerates, it can no longer be used. But if you understand this, then change begins to happen. So even when it comes to temple construction, if you look at the cases of truly successful nations, the whole people carried it out over a long period of time—over a long, long time. There are even temples that took 400 years to build. That is an incredible scale. It means that the person who planned that temple really used their head well. They arranged it so that the congregation could give comfortably throughout their entire lifetime, and above that, they controlled the finances. That is why the entire people just threw themselves into it together. In some ways, that is even more important. So the phrase “300%” contains almost everything within it.

Received blessing
You need to know what blessings you have already received. When you know the blessings you have received, you also come to know the blessings you are going to receive. The blessings you have received are tremendous.

Genesis 3:15, 6:14, 12:1–3
Genesis 3:15—this is what I talked about in the first service. Genesis 6:14—building the ark. Genesis 12:1–3—these have all already been given. “Go to the land I will show you.” In other words, follow the covenant. “I will make you a source of blessing.” “Through you,” it says. “Through your offspring.” And then, fifth, what does He say? “No one will be able to stand against you.” Why? Because through you, all peoples must receive blessing. Because the gospel must be testified.

Introduction – Degeneration
Because they did not know this, they ended up degenerating. Who, especially, degenerated?

1. Egypt
Egypt as a nation degenerated. It was because of Joseph that the nation was saved. Because of Joseph, the forefathers and the future generations were all saved. They should have been thankful, but instead they degenerated. “Ah, Israel keeps growing. They keep increasing, so we have to get rid of them.” So in the end, they forced them into labor and did all kinds of things, and when that didn’t work, they said, “Kill all the baby boys when they are born.” That’s what they did. Next week we will see that the person who appeared in that time was Moses. Because they did not know the blessing, they could not help but degenerate like this. And then look again.

2. Israel
The Israelites themselves degenerated. While they were in Egypt, they should have truly enjoyed the great gospel and seen many changes, but one day they looked up and they had become slaves.

3. Satan
In the end, what is it? They ended up in the hands of Satan.

The land of Israel is a small strip of land. On one side is the Mediterranean Sea, and the Jordan River runs down the other side. That is the land of Israel, and it is divided. The northern kingdom is Israel, the southern kingdom is Judah. The capital of Judah is Jerusalem; the capital of Israel is Samaria. Who is above them? Assyria. There is also the Aramean kingdom. On this side to the right is Arabia. On the left side is Philistia. Further down is Egypt. This whole region is a battlefield. So if you want to attack here (Israel), you pass through there (Judah), and if you want to attack there (Judah), you pass through here (Israel). In this way, Israel is constantly under attack. When Israel receives answers, all of these places become doors. When Israel does not receive grace and has no strength, all of them become enemies. God placed Israel there and gave them the gospel. If Israel gains strength, the whole region becomes a road. It is the same right now. When you and our remnants receive answers and grace, everything becomes a road; but if I do not receive it, then everything becomes an enemy that torments me.

Main – Blessings to receive
So what does God want to do through Israel? He wants to give them blessings to receive. This is what must now bring change. It is a 300% change.

1. Exodus
First, as we read a bit today, God’s goal in this suffering is the Exodus.

2. Blessing of the wilderness
Second is the blessing to be received in the wilderness. This is simple.

3. Conquest of Canaan and the tabernacle
Third is the conquest of Canaan and the tabernacle. This is very important.

1. Exodus

1) Passover (salvation)
For this, what God prepared was the Passover—the day they escaped by putting the blood of the lamb on their doors. That is salvation.

2) Pentecost (power)
Then, along the way in the wilderness, the power of God was revealed. This is Pentecost. It is the Holy Spirit.

3) Feast of Ingathering (background)
When they came out of Egypt and walked the wilderness road, there was a great background—the Feast of Ingathering. This is the background of the throne. They walked with this strength.

2. Blessing of the wilderness – Ark of the Covenant
Along the wilderness road, there was something God absolutely gave them: follow the ark of the covenant. What does it mean to follow the ark of the covenant?

1) Stone tablets
Inside it were two stone tablets that never change. We call them the Ten Commandments. Those tablets were inside the ark of the covenant. The fact that they were engraved on stone means they will never disappear.

2) Protection (manna)
There was also a jar holding the manna by which God protected the Israelites. As they went along, God miraculously sent manna so that they would not starve to death, and the jar that held that manna was inside the ark.

3) Guidance
And there was one more thing inside. Aaron’s staff, which sprouted when it was stuck into the ground, was there. This means that God would guide the people of Israel through worship and through the Word. Aaron was not great in himself; Aaron was the priest who led the worship, so God caused his staff to sprout as a sign. As evidence, He showed it this way. So wherever the ark of the covenant moved, works arose. In our terms, this means that along the wilderness road God would lead them to complete victory by His Word and by His covenant. There are many other things, but the three feasts and the ark of the covenant are very important.

3. Conquest of Canaan – Tabernacle-centered
And then what is important is this: move everything centered on the tabernacle.

1) Tent of meeting
Everything they did was centered on gathering at this place, which is called the “tent of meeting.”

2) Tents
Each person’s own tent was pitched so that the entrance faced the temple, faced the tabernacle.

3) Holy articles
Especially, inside there were holy articles, all of which symbolized Christ—the lampstand, the bread, the water for washing hands, and all of it. The oil and everything else.

4) Ephod
And importantly, the priest was there 24 hours a day. So the servants of the Lord are 24. These priests wore an ephod. On that ephod were written the names of the twelve tribes that would save all the people. You understand what that means, right? All the servants of the Lord are to pray night and day, 24 hours, for the people of God.

5) Three courtyards
Even more important, that small tabernacle had three courtyards. This is important. So they moved everything in a tabernacle-centered way.

(True temple)
This is the reason we must build the true temple. Why must we build the true temple? Don’t worry—just pray. It must be a temple that properly keeps Passover, Pentecost, and the Feast of Ingathering. In the Most Holy Place is the ark of the covenant. In the Holy Place are all these holy articles, and the priest kept the lamp burning and prayed 24 hours a day. More importantly, at that time God revealed the three courtyards. That is everything. You begin receiving answers with this as your focus. So in one sense, this suffering is not just suffering; it is suffering that tells you about an amazing future.

Conclusion
So, holding onto this covenant, you begin to pray from now on. What does it really mean that we have received salvation?

1. Liberation
First, it means that you have been liberated from the twelve curses that could never be resolved. That is salvation.

2. Enjoyment
Second, salvation is enjoying the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne. Right? Never forget this. Then all the blessings in the main content are contained within this.

3. Lordship
Third, and this is very important, our master has been changed. Your master is God. Right? So a person who truly receives answers to prayer has no need to worry. If you truly did not receive, then of course you should worry. Right? But if it is sure that answers are coming, there is no time to be anxious. If there are no answers, then of course you must seek and struggle. But if God is truly your master and is continually giving you answers, then your own insistence is unnecessary. Why? Because your level is not the same as God’s level; God’s level is far higher. The result is completely different. So, for today’s conclusion, this morning I finished next week’s small-group study, and now I am going to do this week’s.

Prayer. God, we thank You. We thank You that in today’s temple construction dedication service we could confirm Your Word. Let the 300% answers arise that allow us to see both the grace we have already received and the blessings we are going to receive. Let us hold onto today, as a covenant, the answers that we will receive throughout our lifetime. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
