2025.07.12 Remnant and TCK Study of Evangelism
The Evangelist’s Life and the Start of Eternal Answers of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd RUTC (28)
– Model 24 of the 3 Courtyards –「」
Scripture Reading: Ac 19:8
This is a message about the future of the remnant. Overestimating oneself is a disorder, and underestimating oneself is also a disorder. To excessively underestimate yourself is depression; to excessively overestimate yourself is bipolar disorder.
▣ Introduction – Standard
We must truly understand ourselves through prayer—but the question is, what is the standard? In my case, the blessing I received early on through prayer was that I had a clear standard about what kind of church to start. I had a standard that the church needed to reach a certain size. But when I entered Yeongdo, that didn’t happen. However, after many years of yielding and praying, that standard is now gradually being fulfilled. From the beginning, we must receive the answer of knowing our own standard well.
1. Not success – Field healing
For the remnant, the standard is not success. It is what comes after that—field healing. That’s the standard. “I must succeed”? Of course success is included, but that’s not the core.
2. Not fame – Leader (comforter) to kings
The standard for the remnant is not fame. Fame may come, but that’s not the standard or goal. Remnants comforted kings. Put harshly, they became leaders to kings. But saying they were “leaders” sounds proud—it’s more accurate to say they became comforters. They comforted kings in their greatest struggles. That’s the standard. To rise to fame? That’s not the standard. If you hold that as your standard, you’ll end up running errands for the world—badly.
3. Not honor – World evangelization
The standard for the remnant is not honor. It is world evangelization. That must be your standard.
▣ Main point – 237 and 5000
So your standard must align with this. Your studies, work, job, and business must align with the 237 nations. And you must be prepared to enter the 5000 tribes. Therefore, we must look at the movements that have brought us to this point.
1) Deuteronomy 6:4–9
This is the final gathering in the wilderness. Imprint this. The three feasts. The ark of the covenant. Centered on the tabernacle. These three things—imprint them fully. Lead the people into that.
2) 1 Samuel 7:1–15
This is the Mizpah movement. There are three things we must not miss here. Who is to blame for what happened to us? It’s not about blame. Is it the Philistines’ fault? No. If you think that way, you’ll spend your life enslaved to the Philistines. Samuel gathered all the people. Something important emerged there: the blood sacrifice. Others won’t understand. Many pastors dismiss it. They say, “We all know the gospel.” But do they really? Does the Darakbang movement preach a different gospel? No. The difference is this—don’t take the gospel lightly. The gospel is not so worthless that we bury everything else for it. We do not weaken the gospel to save everything else. Especially if you weaken the gospel while making things harder for others—that’s even worse. In the end, the blood sacrifice was offered, and the Philistines were struck down. “There was peace.” There’s no other way—if you don’t know, you will be defeated.
3) 2 Kings 6:8–24
This is the Dothan movement. This is what leads to 237 world evangelization. Here, evangelism disciples who were doing 24, 25, and eternity had gathered. God sent the heavenly army to them. And what happened there? They won without fighting. This is the future of the remnant.
4) Isaiah 62:6–12
Fourth, what is it? All of this was given to the remnant. The goal. The standard for the future. “I have appointed you as a watchman.” That’s right. “Build up the highway.” The great road. I respect the leaders of the democratization movement, but they made one big mistake. They said, “Don’t build highways.” That was foolish. They said, “President Park is building highways just to go on trips.” That was nonsense. He was building something far greater. After Korea built highways, the nation developed greatly. In the past, eating raw fish in Daegu could kill you. Now, you can eat it in Daegu and be fine, thanks to the highways. The highway must be built for cars to go. That’s how the army moves. And what else? “Lift up a banner for all nations.” That’s truly important.
5) Acts 17:1, 18:4, 19:8
Finally, Paul risked his life to enter the synagogue. Just teach the five aspects of Christ:
– Christ who was with God before eternity. This is crucial.
– Christ who came in the flesh.
– Christ who resurrected.
– Christ who will come again as Lord.
– Christ who will return not secretly, but as the reigning Lord and Judge.
Remnants, we are not saying the things of the world are all wrong. But you must receive the true strength that comes from God. That’s the Sabbath. That’s worship. That’s Sunday. That is the three-day weekend age. It’s absolute. I’m deeply concerned—without this, your posterity will surely suffer.
The true answer is here (Acts 19:8): the throne. God’s kingdom. The work of God’s kingdom. This is what must be known.
▣ Conclusion
[Daily prayer]
Draw the picture of daily prayer comfortably. Peacefully. Then, the three concentrations will happen naturally. Then the three settings will naturally form. Then, you’ll go forward with the three answers in advance. You must do this.
[Hourly prayer]
I not only do daily prayer but also hourly prayer. That means at least every 2 hours—or at least every hour—I recover my body and my brain through breathing, prayer, and exercise.
[Prayer for every event]
Every event must have an answer. Every event must be met with prayer for an answer. You should receive the answer to every problem within 5 minutes. Even before going to bed, joy will arise. “Ah, I see!” You were facing a problem? Yes. Facing death? Yes, but you’re joyful? Daniel prayed with thanksgiving. Why? Because something had been discovered. If it’s been discovered, then you can give thanks. How could you say, “Thank You” when your father dies from an injury? Of course not. That comes after. You must discover it. Don’t fall asleep without discovery.
These three things are the secret to restoring your root. Pastors must teach this. Practice it yourselves. You must do this. You need strength. To be honest, you don’t have helpers. The congregation is watching you. If you are shaken, the congregation loses strength. So naturally—daily prayer, hourly prayer, prayer for every event. How much prayer is enough? There’s no specific amount. Just do these three.
Prayer. God, we thank You. We give glory to the God who has raised up precious servants. We believe that You will give special grace to these servants who were raised for the sake of the gospel alone. Protect them until the day of world evangelization is fulfilled. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
