Laban’s Schemes and God’s Blessings
(Genesis 30:25-31:16)
Summary
▷ Jacob fled to Laban’s house to escape hardship. Laban used schemes to torment Jacob, but God blessed Jacob. We must not be discouraged because of people, and we must not trust people too much either. The reason Uncle Laban used schemes is that he thought only of his own benefit and position. We must see people with those eyes. Some people trust people too much and get defrauded, or fall into temptation. What school teaches is fighting and winning. Even between parents and children, if it’s not beneficial to oneself, they have a hard time.
▣ Introduction_ Triune God
There are three things the Triune God does through us. We must focus on that.
1. Covenant
God is fulfilling the covenant even now. So holding on to the covenant precisely is important.
Numbers 23:19 God carries out what He has spoken
Genesis 26:1 It was fulfilled just as He had spoken to Sarah.
To Jacob, He promised, “I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”
Confirming the covenant and the Word whether we’re having a hard time or a good time becomes a blessing even if you can’t hold on to that Word. If you’re agonizing over filial piety, you’re already a filial child. Agonizing over how I can hold on to God’s covenant precisely is itself a blessing.
2. Prayer – Life, worship, focus
God surely answers prayer. Therefore, enjoy prayer through life. During worship time, confirm the very important 5 ways and 5 forums. When something important comes up or something difficult happens, don’t worry, but focus and pray to God.
3. Salvation
Because God is accomplishing the work of salvation even now, we evangelize. Even if we don’t do great things, we just need to be in it.
▣ Main_ Faith
1. Material blessing (identity – authority)
God gave Jacob material blessing. His identity is a child of God. And because He gave the authority to overcome darkness, God naturally blesses.
2. Answers to prayer (region)
The reason He answered Jacob’s prayer is that he had the mission to save the region.
3. Family blessing (world evangelization)
The reason He blessed Jacob’s family is world evangelization.
▷ These three things of the Main were given by God, so you must believe them. Because He gave the identity and authority to overcome darkness, God unconditionally blessed materially wherever Jacob went. He answered prayer and blessed the family. To do world evangelization. So we too must hold on to the Word and begin to pray.

Jacob fled to escape hardship. He went to Laban’s house. But Laban keeps using these kinds of schemes. But God blessed Jacob. Perhaps as you look at this, you must not be discouraged because of people or do such things. And you must not trust people too much either.
This Laban is actually his uncle. Why does he keep using schemes on Jacob? Think about it simply. Everyone thinks of their own benefit. Everyone thinks of their own position. We must see people with those eyes. Because of what am I discouraged? There’s no need for that. Also, because of people I do so much of something? There’s no need for that either. Some people, you know, get defrauded by listening to someone and lose all the property they gathered with such hardship. It’s trusting people too much. Also, I fall into temptation and have a hard time because of people? That’s not it either. People can’t help it.
When we go to school, what they already teach is having to fight, winning, they teach that, right? Three great heroes came out in Japan, but what those people taught was to keep fighting and winning, they taught that. Even between parents and children, it’s like that. If it’s too unbeneficial to themselves, they have a hard time.
Now, in such a situation, you lose strength because of people? You gain strength because of people? You must think about that a little.

3. Salvation

2. Answers to prayer (region)
Why did God answer Jacob’s prayer? Because you must know that reason. Because he had the mission to save the region. You must definitely remember this.
3. Family blessing (world evangelization)
Also, why did God bless Jacob tremendously? What is the reason He blessed the individual and the family? God blessed this Jacob, starting from the individual to the family, through Joseph, I’m telling you. The reason is simple. It’s world evangelization. God called you to do world evangelization. God answered Jacob’s prayer. What is the reason? Because God must work in the place Jacob goes. He blessed the family altogether. To do world evangelization. You just need to remember this.

1. Word

3. Work of salvation
So God is accomplishing the work of salvation. So you see that flow of evangelism.
I started long ago from evangelizing directly on the street, and now I’m going in the flow of that evangelism to the 5000 tribes.
4. Spiritual flow of the field
And surely wherever you go there’s a field, right? There’s no need to see other things there. You precisely see the spiritual flow of the field. That’s why He called you. Why? No matter how outstanding, unbelievers don’t know spiritual things. No matter how, no matter how successful a person is, they don’t know what spiritual flow is, I’m telling you. Actually, the most important thing for people is spiritual flow, but they don’t know it. But because they don’t know that, they make shrines and bow, I’m telling you. What problem arises from that? Tremendous works of evil spirits happen.
5. Flow of the nation
Then there’s one thing that grips your heart squarely. It’s the flow of one nation. I can’t know all of many nations. But the flow of one nation is seen.

How thankful is that?
We received a lot of persecution and attacks over several decades while doing this. You don’t have to care. Those people originally do that kind of thing 24. What can you do? They are people who attack others, slander them, and do that 24, I’m telling you. I met one police officer who is a person with a mission. I told that person, “Hey, you’ve spent your whole life only searching for thieves, so you really must pray and receive grace.” “You’ve done thieves 24 your whole life. Because you have to catch them. Today too, while you are worshipping and praying, without you even knowing it, three things happen. Darkness is broken. While you worship today, the kingdom of God is accomplished. More important. While you are worshipping, the power of healing appears to you.
