Joseph Who Had a Dream
(Genesis 37:1-11)
Summary
How we receive answers today in the places we go is important. Today is Joseph who had a dream. Joseph was hated by his brothers and almost died, but it was not a problem. And he was dragged off by human traffickers who were like complete thugs and was a slave who had to be at the very bottom, but Joseph knew that it was not a problem. From then on, five things are seen.
▣ Introduction
1. Covenant – When it is seen that difficulties and illness are not problems for us, the covenant is seen.
2. Vision – From this time, the way to go is seen.
3. 24 Dream – The dream of being able to do 24 is seen.
4. 25 Image (Power) – The power of creation, the image of God that becomes 25, is seen.
5. eternity Masterpiece – The masterpiece called eternity remains.
▷ You must judge well today. Finding what is natural within what doesn’t work and preparing 300% is inevitable. It is enough just to hold the covenant well. When we ask how Joseph held this dream, what’s first? It came up earlier, didn’t it? He first held the covenant. If so, when you know about life, this is seen. The covenant is seen clearly.
1) Hebrews 11:22
What does it say in Hebrews chapter 11 verse 22? It says that this Joseph looked to Christ. To put it simply, he certainly realized the gospel covenant.
2) Genesis 27:29
If you look at Genesis chapter 27 verse 29, he had already received the world evangelization covenant passed down from his father Jacob. It’s Genesis chapter 27 verse 29. Joseph did.
So today, while you’re worshipping, we have problems and difficulties and all of that, don’t we? We can’t say those don’t exist. A problem has come, and I say I have no problem? That doesn’t make sense, does it? It’s that that doesn’t become a problem, I’m saying. There’s an important answer in there, I’m saying. We find that while worshipping today. What answer could be greater than that?
3) Christ
So Christ will come through Israel. The promise had all been made. He is holding this covenant firmly.
2. Prayer → Dream
While holding this covenant and praying, how much did he pray? The work happened to the point of coming out in dreams. It doesn’t mean answers come because he had a dream. If you truly pray, it comes out in dreams too. Try being very frustrated. Then you have frustrating dreams, I tell you. Where such events come out. If I’m very anxious, even when there’s nothing to be anxious about, I have anxious dreams. If you hold this covenant and pray, it comes out in dreams too. From this time, the prayer of holding the covenant, the prayer at all times, and the concentrated prayer begin. It’s important, right? Today, while you’re worshipping, you hold the covenant firmly, and prayer begins.
3. Blessing
And when he completely held this covenant, what blessing came? He had agonized so much, but when he held this covenant, the blessing that comes first right away is spiritual blessing. It’s okay even if you don’t see answers. Our precious spiritual blessing comes. After that, the physical comes, I’m saying. If you go somewhere and get so shocked and startled, a problem comes to your body, I tell you. Conversely, if while holding the covenant and praying today God’s important covenant is grasped, spiritual blessing comes, and after that physical blessing comes. This is passed on to others, to family. So there’s no need to resent your family so much. If you receive answers, it’s passed on. So this turns into world evangelization. So you must hold the covenant today without fail.
4. Discouragement – Hope (Absolute Plan)
A person who has this dream is not discouraged. Rather, the problem in front of them turns into hope. This that the brothers were jealous of, and going as a slave over there, and going to prison, are all blessings. We don’t have just hope. God’s absolute plan is in it, isn’t it?
So today must become a precious day of gaining the strength God gives. Joseph discovered the Only in advance. So he goes on the road where that is fulfilled.

So this is you discovering the Only that God gives me. Today must become such a day, and during the week it must become such days.
Around you: ‘Ah, why is my family like this?’ Your family won’t change. I must change. Right? I must hold the covenant like Joseph and change. Some kid was so hurt: “My father and I can’t communicate. We haven’t spoken for several years.” How hard that must be. I understand what it means. So I told him. “Even if you die ten times, your father won’t change. Don’t think about changing that. You have to change yourself.” “How?” “Receive God’s grace, receive power, and comfort your father. He has no gospel, doesn’t come to church; what else could he be like?” The young adult who had a counseling session with me is a decent young man. So I told him. “Don’t you feel sorry for your father? In my view, he’s pitiful.” I said that. His eyes showed he understood. Then that’s enough. Don’t be deceived, and today too you must find many answers.
Then, what happens to this covenant?
1. Heart, Thoughts, Soul, Throne
