Mark 7:24-30

24 Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret.
25 In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an impure spirit came and fell at his feet.
26 The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.
27 “First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
28 “Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
29 Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.”
30 She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

Summary

What must we know and carry with us when we are sent as military missionaries? What should we do when a serious illness comes upon me or my family? For long-time believers, how should we spend the rest of our lives?

▣ Introduction

1. Background of the text – A Syrophoenician woman came having heard the news about Jesus, asking him to heal her demon-possessed young daughter, and Jesus spoke what seemed to be an insulting word, asking who would give bread to dogs. The woman said that even dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the table of their master’s children. Jesus said that the demon had gone out of her daughter, and told her to go home. When the woman arrived home, her daughter had truly been healed.

2. Two things we must first know

1) Stories found only in Scripture
(1) The Garden of Eden incident (Genesis 3) – Satan tempted Adam and Eve and caused them to leave God. From that time, suffering began.
(2) Noah’s flood incident (Genesis 6) – The age of the Nephilim (spirit possession) had already come.
(3) The Tower of Babel incident (Genesis 11) – Most people challenged God. So God brought down the tower. From that time, confusion came.

2) Problems that still continue today
(1) The New Age movement – The New Age movement, which says we don’t need God, is exactly the same as the Garden of Eden incident.
(2) Freemasonry – This is a Nephilim movement of spirit possession, claiming that there is another world and that we must gain another power.
(3) The Jews – A group that still denies Christ.

3. What must we help them with?

1) Because human beings must know God, when they leave God and do not know God, problems continue to come. A person who is spiritually dead can never be happy.
2) When this gospel is received, that suffering becomes a blessing and is passed on.

▣ Main_ How can this be done?

1. An absolute meeting with Christ – This woman came to Jesus and fell down before him (v. 25).

1) Genesis 3:15, God’s solution – Christ was already God’s solution, present back in Genesis 3:15.
2) The incarnate Christ – This woman met the Christ who became incarnate.
3) The resurrected Christ – The reason we can pray in Jesus’ name is because we believe in him.
4) Believing in Jesus who will stand as the returning Lord.
5) Believing in Jesus who becomes the owner of the throne.

▷ You must confirm “so that’s why he’s the Christ.” Otherwise, you will not overcome calamity, and you won’t even know it is coming. A priest without this cannot overcome darkness and Satan. A king without this cannot overcome the background of hell. The true prophet who revealed this — that is Christ.

2. When it is God’s absolute plan, history happens when we act without giving up (vv. 26-28).

1) When they believed and entered the Red Sea, the Red Sea was divided.
2) When their feet touched the Jordan, the Jordan was divided.
3) When they marched around Jericho, it collapsed.

▷ When the woman said, “Don’t even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the children’s table?” Jesus told her to go.

3. One absolute disciple who has grasped the covenant can save another person (vv. 29-30).

▷ Through this woman’s faith, Jesus blessed her. Her daughter was healed while at home. History happened even though they were not together.

1) A parent’s faith can heal their child.
2) The prayer of one servant of the Lord can save many church members.
3) The faith of one church leader will surely save the field.
4) The faith of one new believer will surely save their family line.
5) The faith of one Remnant will save the world.

▣ Conclusion_ Take these three things with you.

1. If you hold on to the amazing blessing of being a child of God, darkness will surely collapse.
2. If it is God’s absolute plan, you must challenge it unconditionally. You must not give up.
3. Because of you, one person, that field will surely be saved.

▷ In the place where you are, the spiritual world is being accomplished though it is invisible. If you hold onto this covenant and pray even one day, or even five minutes after worship ends, history will happen.

Today in particular, some of our military missionaries are also being dispatched to Germany and America as military missionaries. What must you know and carry with you? Also, among our members, there may be some thinking about what to do if I or my family develops a serious illness. Today’s text tells us what to do about this. In particular, for our long-time believers, this is about what would be best to do with the rest of my life.

▣ Introduction

1. Background of the text

If we check a little into the background of today’s text, Jesus was being followed by many people, so he healed the sick like this. He was tired and wanted to rest a bit, but a certain woman came to him. She begged, “Our young daughter is demon-possessed; please heal her.” No one had invited her to come, but having heard the news, she came and made this earnest request. This person was from a region called “Syrophoenicia,” and she was not an orthodox Jew. Jesus spoke like this. It’s quite an insulting statement. “No, who would give food, bread, to dogs?” That’s what he said. So the woman responded, “Don’t even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the table where the master’s children eat?” That’s what she said. Jesus must have been a little surprised. So he said, “Then I will heal your daughter.” That’s what he did. So he told her to go. “If you go, your daughter will already be healed.” That’s what Jesus said. “That demon has gone out of your daughter.” That’s what he said. When she truly went and looked, her daughter had indeed been healed.

2. Two things we must first know

Now, there are many sick people like this. What should we do? First, you must know two things.

1) Stories found only in Scripture

three incidents like this.

(1) The Garden of Eden incident (Genesis 3)

This is the Garden of Eden incident. There, Satan tempted Adam and Eve and caused them to leave God. From that time, much suffering began.

(2) Noah’s flood incident (Genesis 6)

The second incident is Noah’s flood incident. At that time, many people were already Nephilim — the word “Nephilim” is really only spoken of in Scripture, but this is the same kind of age that has come now, in America, where people are completely under spirit possession.

(3) The Tower of Babel incident (Genesis 11)

That third incident is the Tower of Babel incident. Now it’s not that people stopped believing in God, but that many people arose who challenged God. They challenged God, you see? If it were just one or two people doing this, you could say “that person is crazy,” but most of the people were challenging God. So God brought down the Tower of Babel. From that time, confusion and many other things came.

2) Problems that still continue today

So those incidents in chapters 3, 6, and 11 — in other words, the Garden of Eden, Noah’s flood, and the Tower of Babel incidents — continue even now.

(1) The New Age movement

So the New Age movement that says “we don’t need God” is exactly the same as the Garden of Eden incident.

(2) Freemasonry

“There is another world. We must gain another power.” It’s an attractive story. This Nephilim movement of spirit possession is exactly Freemasonry. It continues even now.

(3) The Jews

The group that still denies Christ is the Jews.

3. What must we help them with?

These groups have gripped all of America and Europe, you know?

1) Because human beings must know God, when they leave God and do not know God, problems continue to come. A person who is spiritually dead can never be happy.

Now, into this kind of world our lay missionaries must go, and you all must go. Into this kind of world our Remnant must go. But the simple fact is, the answer is simple. Because of this, suffering that no one understands keeps coming. Even a daughter became demon-possessed. That is the result. So what you must know is that every human being who has left God is entirely a problem, that’s how it is. It’s just that this particular household’s problem came in the form of demon possession. Some other person’s problem comes in a different form. Those people are being deceived. It all comes. Because human beings must know God, when they leave him and don’t know him, problems keep coming. That’s the only thing we need to help with.

Are you going as a military missionary just to serve in the military, or should you also go about evangelizing? Of course you should evangelize. But if you look carefully, there is opportunity. Haven’t you heard of someone who went to their company and did this? During break time, they deliberately read the Bible in front of people. During break time. A person who looks quite fine comes along, and it turns out they have a problem. Everyone is lying, you see? People who have left God are bound to have spiritual problems. They pretend not to know. It keeps getting worse.

Go and see Germany. In Germany, on the streets, there are people lined up who are simply on drugs. They don’t even arrest them. Why? Because they’d have to arrest everyone. They don’t arrest them. That’s how it is in the streets of Germany. It’s not even at the level of taking drugs with a needle — it’s beyond that. They inject it, inject it. Where do they inject it? In the place on the body that will deliver it to the heart the fastest, like this. So in the morning, at what we would call the district office, they hand out new needles, saying, “Don’t share needles with each other.” They go and hand them out like this. There’s no visible mark at all when you look at their eyes. Into this kind of place, our Remnant must be sent. So it’s simple. What do these people need help with? It’s simple. Even without saying anything, they are already waiting. So even just conveying the word will cause history to happen. America is a bit more so. America right now (shaking his head) — even Americans themselves, when they gather, worry, because it has become too severe. A person who is spiritually dead, not knowing God, can never be happy.

2) When this gospel is received, that suffering becomes a blessing and is passed on.

So rather, when this gospel is received, that difficulty becomes a blessing. Isn’t that right? For that woman, that suffering became a blessing and has been passed down until now.

▣ Main_ How can this be done?

Now, what should we do? The point is to never give up, and to ask what we should do.

1. An absolute meeting with Christ – This woman came to Jesus and fell down before him (v. 25).

If you look at verse 25 today, it says, “This woman came to Jesus and fell down before him.” It wasn’t just that she came and said, “Heal our daughter.” Rather, she came to Jesus, fell down, and spoke while prostrate — that’s the point. When you and that person have an absolute meeting with Christ, history is bound to happen. It can be different from ordinary people. An absolute meeting is necessary. People all lie. An absolute meeting is necessary. Since the monk who listens to my messages is also listening, I say this. You absolutely need a meeting with Christ. Otherwise you must continue that painful practice. No answer will come. How can an answer come for this demon-possessed child?

1) Genesis 3:15, God’s solution

Christ was already God’s solution before this woman, already present in Genesis 3:15.

2) The incarnate Christ

It was only when he became incarnate visibly, taking on a human body, that this woman came to meet him. Isn’t that right?

3) The resurrected Christ

The reason we can now pray in Jesus’ name is that we believe in the resurrected Christ.

4) Believing in Jesus who will stand as the returning Lord.

We also believe in Jesus who will stand as the returning Lord.

5) Believing in Jesus who becomes the owner of the throne.

We believe in Jesus who becomes the owner of the throne. You must be brought to meet him.

Except for a few people here, I’m probably the oldest one present. So what advantage do I have over our Remnant? I have experienced a lot. I have seen the inner lives of the chaebols who move much of the economy. I have seen famous singers, politicians. It’s all difficult. So the first absolute meeting that became certain for me was this — “Ah, so this is why the word ‘Jesus Christ’ is spoken from beginning to end throughout Scripture!” That’s where certainty came to me. It was from that point on. Honestly, I’ll say it now — in the old days, nothing worked out for me. In the old days, my answers only came to about the level of being useful for running errands for unbelievers. Everywhere I went, I served as a slave of darkness. It’s true. But from the moment this certainty came to me, I found that by the time I arrived somewhere, the answer had already gone ahead of me. Isn’t that surprising? Spiritual problems, the spiritual problems of our family line, all disappeared. Especially the disease, poverty, and incompetence of our family line — all of that disappeared.

Now, our Remnant, our many church members, those of you going as military missionaries — you have nothing to worry about. If you hold onto the covenant, darkness is bound to collapse. It is certain. The reason believers don’t have this certainty — children of God — is, how could I put it. There’s a pastor I asked, who runs a hospital gathered entirely with mentally ill patients, in Jeju. Go and ask him for a favor. There’s a separate place gathered entirely with people who are completely demon-possessed and completely captured by Satan. Go and see. When you go there, you will come to know why Jesus is the Christ.

This woman came out and fell down before Jesus. “Save our daughter.” So Jesus said, “Where is there anyone who gives food to dogs?” Didn’t he say that? Jesus was testing her. Because that’s how the Jews understood things. The Jews regarded other Gentiles as dogs. That’s how they understood it. She spoke a certain covenant that even the Jews did not know. “Don’t even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table?”

Truly, pray about this today. “Ah, this is really why he’s the Christ!” You must confirm this. Otherwise, calamity will come and you won’t even overcome it, and you won’t even know it’s coming. A priest without this cannot overcome darkness and Satan. A king without this cannot overcome it. The true prophet who revealed this — that is Christ. Know for certain that you have this blessing, and go to America, and to the whole world, to the field.

2. When it is God’s absolute plan, history happens when we act without giving up (vv. 26-28).

This is the second point. What should we do? Didn’t Jesus say, “Go. Your daughter has already been healed. The demon has gone out”? An ordinary person would have said, “No, please come and pray for us. Please come heal our daughter.” That’s what they would have said. When you know God’s absolute plan, when you act without giving up, history happens.

There’s one thing I worry about — there are many people working hard even when it’s not God’s plan. If it is God’s absolute plan, do not give up. Verse 30 says, “She returned home and found that her daughter had been healed.” That’s how it is written. When you realize God’s absolute plan, and act at that time, history happens. Isn’t that right? History happens when you believe. You must also experience the power of meeting Christ, but history happens when you believe and act.

1) When they believed and entered the Red Sea, the Red Sea was divided.

God led the nation of Israel to the Red Sea. Look carefully — when they believed and entered, it was divided.

2) When their feet touched the Jordan, the Jordan was divided.

Look carefully — when they crossed the Jordan, as their feet touched the water, it divided.

3) When they marched around Jericho, it collapsed.

When they marched around Jericho, it collapsed. What does this mean? When it is God’s absolute plan, history begins the moment you act. That is the second principle. Never give up. Even though Jesus spoke what seemed an insulting word, she did not give up. “Don’t even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the children’s table?” She said this, and he told her to go.

3. One absolute disciple who has grasped the covenant can save another person (vv. 29-30).

This is the last, third point. You, one absolute disciple who has grasped the covenant, can save another person. Isn’t that right? This is important. You, one person, can save another person. What’s even more important is that history happened even though they were not together. Through this woman’s faith Jesus blessed her, and even though the daughter was at that house, she was healed.

1) A parent’s faith can heal their child.

A parent’s faith can heal their child.

You have probably heard this many times, but there are people who have known me since long ago. There must be people from your hometown, right? They were surprised when they saw me. When I was young, I truly grew up as a very good child. But strangely, when I went through such difficulty, because I had no faith, I collapsed. Once I collapsed, I did every kind of bad thing. Even though I knew, “This is not something I should be doing.” I had completely collapsed, but because of my mother’s prayers — truly, unbelievers looked at us and said, “Wow, God is really alive.”

2) The prayer of one servant of the Lord can save many church members.

The prayer of one servant of the Lord can save many church members. This is prayer. The prayer of one who possesses the gospel. A person who knows how to pray does not fear. History is bound to happen.

3) The faith of one church leader will surely save the field.

The faith held by even one of you church leaders will surely save the field. Are any new believers seated here with us?

4) The faith of one new believer will surely save their family line.

The faith of even one of you new believers will surely save your family line.

5) The faith of one Remnant will save the world.

The faith of even one Remnant will save the world. Even though there was idol worship in our family like that, my mother and my uncle — these two people’s faith evangelized the entire household.

▣ Conclusion_ Take these three things with you.

You should take these three things with you. All of you church members, take these three things with you. In a sense, there’s no need to even say it. An absolute meeting with Christ. If it is God’s absolute plan, do not give up. Do not give up in any circumstance. Lastly, you, one person, are bound to save someone.

I’ve told you this before. There was a very fine-looking, clean-cut man, and I was riding a train, and he sat next to me. Going from Seoul all the way to Busan, I had to evangelize, right? I didn’t say anything and just sat reading a book like this. I was reading the book and also taking notes like this. This person spoke to me first. “Are you a professor?” he asked. “No,” I said. “Are you in business?” he asked. “No.” “Are you a government worker?” he asked. “No.” I had to tell him I was a pastor, right?

So I began to speak like this. “I used to be this kind of person. But after I met him, I changed like this. Before, I was a person who only thought, ‘How can I feed my family?’ Now, I am saving many disciples in many parts of the world. Before, I didn’t know why I should live. After I met him, I came to know.” “Who is he?” he asked. “Well, listen,” I said. I didn’t tell him quickly. Why? Because he kept asking, “Who is he?” I said, “Sir, if I told you now, I was worried you would make that worthless judgment you already have, so I didn’t tell you right away.” I said, “He is Jesus Christ. Truly. He changed me. In fact, when this gospel first came, it changed even our Korea. Right now the crisis is that the gospel is disappearing across the whole world. Even the church has no gospel. Even church members truly do not know Christ. So sir, I don’t know what you do, but you are probably misunderstanding what the church is about.” It was providential timing. This man’s heart opened completely, and he truly confessed and received Christ.

His mother was also a shaman. His mother-in-law was also a shaman, and he himself was a shaman. He contacted me directly. “My child is now dying, and for the last time, I truly want us to believe in Jesus and hold a worship service.” It was a shaman’s household. That day, I looked at the child, and it was really a difficult state to even look at. I told them what I had personally experienced. I simply shared the gospel and left. What happened? That very night, history happened for that child. I only shared the gospel, that’s all — I didn’t even pray or anything like that. I only shared the gospel and left. This tremendous household, which had many spiritual problems, had history happen the moment Christ was testified to. I was surprised myself. I mean, shouldn’t a person get better little by little, not suddenly recover? No, the child, who the hospital had said would die, suddenly, that very night, was healed. If it had been that the child gradually got a little better and became okay, I might understand, but that very night she was healed.

I have had these kinds of experiences in the past. So, “Ah, Christ.” Ever since I received the answer that he is the Christ, from that point on, answers kept coming continuously. So to what extent — when I see people like you, not you specifically, but people like you, I often think, “How pitiful.” “Oh my, why do they believe like that?” Truly, you could put an end to it. You could enjoy the answer as much as you want and do everything, but you’re being deceived like that.

1. If you hold on to the amazing blessing of being a child of God, darkness will surely collapse.

Today you must firmly grasp this covenant. There’s no need to show it off. If you firmly hold on to this amazing blessing of being a child of God, darkness is bound to collapse. Try it. Don’t deceive yourself in your heart — just try it.

2. If it is God’s absolute plan, you must challenge it unconditionally. You must not give up.

Then the answer comes: “This is God’s absolute plan.” At that point you must challenge it unconditionally — you must not give up.

3. Because of you, one person, that field will surely be saved.

Finally, what you must remember is that because of even one of you, that place is bound to be saved. “Is that really so?” you might ask — but because of one person, my mother, one person believing, the entire household became evangelized.

In the place where you are, the spiritual world is being accomplished though it is invisible. Remember this. If you hold onto this covenant and pray even just one day, or even just five minutes after worship ends, history will happen. I bless that this experience will happen to you this week, in the name of the Lord Jesus. Let us pray.

Prayer

God, please bless us today so that we may recover the secret of being your children. As you said, “You are the light of the world” — please guide us, God, so that this light may be conveyed. Many of our Remnant are going out into the field. Please make them people who are not deceived, who convey the light, who overcome darkness. Many of our church members are going out into the field. Please let this history happen. A precious family is being sent to Germany and to America. Let God’s amazing light be conveyed. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Mark 5:1-15

01 They went across the lake to the region of the Gerasenes.
02 When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an unclean spirit came from the tombs to meet him.
03 This man lived among the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with chains.
04 For he had often been bound with shackles and chains, but he tore the chains apart and broke the shackles in pieces, and no one had the strength to subdue him.
05 Night and day, among the tombs and on the mountains, he was always crying out and cutting himself with stones.
06 When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell down before him.
07 And crying out with a loud voice, he said, Son of the Most High God Jesus, what have I to do with you? I beg you before God, do not torment me.
08 For Jesus had already said to him, Come out of the man, you unclean spirit.
09 Then Jesus asked him, What is your name? And he answered, My name is Legion, for we are many.
10 And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of that region.
11 Now there on the hillside a great herd of pigs was feeding.
12 So the demons begged him, saying, Send us into the pigs, that we may enter them.
13 And Jesus permitted them. The unclean spirits came out and entered the pigs, and the herd, about two thousand of them, rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned.
14 Those who were tending them fled and reported it in the town and in the countryside, and people came to see what had happened.
15 And when they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the demon, the very one who had had the legion, sitting there clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid.

Summary

The one who sets the bound free is a true missionary. The demon-possessed man in this passage was not bound by chains — he was bound by Satan. When Jesus asked who he was, he said he was Legion. We must understand how he came to be bound.

▣ Introduction: Bound to Satan, the Legion Demon

1. Genesis 3:4-5, 6:4-5, 11:1-8 — Satan said, You are far too important a person to believe in God. You will become like God — and having said this, he binds the human being completely. He promises, I will give you power, and then makes people demon-possessed and binds them. Those building the tower of Babel are people completely bound to Satan. This is where it began. If you do not understand this you cannot do missions.
Ephesians 2:2 — you must follow the ruler of the power of the air.
Ephesians 6:12 — you must be ruled by the evil spirits in the heavens.
Matthew 12:43-45 — he struggles violently. He tries religious acts, shamanistic rites, but it only gets worse.
John 8:44 — those who do not know God belong to the devil.

2. Strong nation – war — Satan burrows into strong nations, and so much war results. Strong nations built idol temples and forced idol worship.

3. Spiritual illness (spirit, heart, mind) — the individual suffers greatly and then falls into spiritual illness. The last stage is that Satan and demons, invisible to our eyes, become visible.

4. Incidents – incidents occur.
1) Suicide – murder
2) Crime
3) Drugs

5. Military – it will go back toward the military again.
1) Matthew 24:1-14 — ahead there will be turmoil and war and all kinds of conflict.
2) Revelation 12:1-9 — at the last time there will be great confusion and war, terrifying things will happen, and Satan will be involved in it.

▣ Main: Only the Gospel, Only the Kingdom, Only the Holy Spirit
Christ-izing, Throne-izing, Healing-izing

The task is, because it is Christ alone, to Christ-ize the field. Because it is God’s Kingdom alone, to throne-ize it. Because it is the Holy Spirit alone, we must heal-ize them so they come alive.

1. Strong nation – Christ-izing alone. To the person who knows this reason, God entrusts a strong nation.
1) Slave
2) Captive
3) Vassal state
4) War
5) Displaced people

2. Three churches – there are three churches that only those who have the gospel can carry out. Do this 24.
1) Throne (3.9.3) platform — build the platform called 3.9.3.
▷ It ends when you are Christ-ized, throne-ized, and healing-ized.
2) Watch bartizan (light) — because almost everyone has fallen into disaster, you must build a watch bartizan and shine light so they can come.
(1) 10% — psychologically struggling, in the past
(2) 30–50% — relying on hospitals, in the present
(3) 90–100% — soon it will become like this
▷ You must be able to see this in order to become a watch bartizan.
3) Antenna (communication) – prayer — God’s power comes through. The antenna is communication. It teaches the secret of the Word and prayer.

▷ Only to those who have this gospel is a strong nation entrusted. This is the church given only to those who enjoy this gospel.

3. Military healing ministry team – a ministry team that quietly heals people with spiritual problems
1) Meditation movement
2) Summit movement
3) Healing movement

▷ There are many among the elite and the famous who want help but have nowhere to go. A military missions ministry team that can help one-on-one may look small, but it is a great work. If you properly teach prayer that enjoys the gospel, works of God will happen without fail.
▷ To truly save the military, the historic work of God’s power sent toward strong nations is needed. For those who gather, we need a platform, a watch bartizan, and an antenna that can really give them an answer. Within the church, someone who ministers healing humbly and without show is needed. If someone tries to be noticed, people at the top cannot come. There are many people in normal, high positions who are still suffering spiritually. You need eyes to see that.

▣ Conclusion: The True Military Missionary
1. Active duty
2. Reserve duty – an even more important military missionary
3. RT – an even more important military missionary

▷ Jesus healed the demon-possessed man without even asking why (Mark 3:15). Military workers must build the strength to know and yet remain still (platform). All you need to do is build a watch bartizan that shines light so others come. If your antenna — prayer, evangelism, covenant — is solid, that is enough. Your very existence matters. You are the light of the world. Just turn on the light. It is fine no matter what difficulty comes. That is a sure timetable in which you see God’s great covenant.

Right now there are many people doing that kind of military missions. Even Buddhists are doing it. But if you cannot understand this word, you cannot do military missions. If you do not know what it means to be bound, you cannot do missions. The one who sets these people free is the true missionary. You must remember this.

▣ Introduction: Those Bound to Satan

Here a man came out who had gone completely out of his mind, who was tied with chains yet broke free, shouting and crying out, demon-possessed. This man was not bound by chains. He was bound by Satan. Now, there are many people bound to Satan, but the most important thing right now is that this man came to Jesus and said, Son of God. He said, What have I to do with you? I have nothing to do with you. Jesus asked him, Who are you? He answered, I am Legion demon. Jesus made that demon go into the pigs and healed him — this story comes up, and this saying is extremely important.

1. Genesis 3:4-5, 6:4-5, 11:1-8

You must understand how he was bound. First, in the Garden of Eden, Genesis chapter 3, verses 4 and 5. You are such an important person, do not believe in God. You will become like God. Having said this, he completely binds humanity. He says, I will give you power, and turns people into Nephilim, makes them demon-possessed, and binds them fast. The tower of Babel was torn down, but in reality those building this tower of Babel became people completely bound to Satan. This (Genesis 3:4-5, 6:4-5, 11:1-8) is the beginning. And if you cannot understand this word, you cannot do missions. So God is calling you, who understand this word, and giving you this assignment now. To put it a bit bluntly, a military missionary, a military chaplain who does not know this (Genesis 3:4-5, 6:4-5, 11:1-8) — no matter how many there are, it is useless. And you need to know now that among the very elite, among those who studied a great deal, among those with special musical talent or entertainer’s flair, there are mental problems that come to them, you know? Do you not know yet? Even if you don’t say it, among those who studied very well there are many with spiritual problems. They just cannot say it. Precisely because they are such diligent, capable people, they studied so hard, and yet they end up bound right here (Genesis 3:4-5, 6:4-5, 11:1-8). And even among those who did not study much, if in our language we would say they have a certain flair, people who, in that field, have a natural gift — spiritual problems come easily to those people too. So other people cannot understand the behavior of these people. Right? Left unattended, these people even develop panic attacks. At that point, since something urgent must be dealt with, they go to the hospital. But the hospital does not cure them. Fundamentally, these people are bound to something right now. It cannot be cured. This is not an ordinary problem. That is why, if you understand this part, you know that tremendous doors of world evangelization will open for you.

Ephesians 2:2, 6:12; Matthew 12:43-45; John 8:44

Look at Ephesians chapter 2 verse 2. To what degree have these people been caught? They must follow the ruler of the power of the air. Look at Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12 — they must be ruled by the evil spirits in the heavens. Because of this, some people struggle violently. In Matthew chapter 12, verses 43 and 45, it says many engage in religious acts, do shamanistic rites, try it, and it only gets worse. Simply put, the harder they try to live a devoted faith life, the more difficult it becomes. Those who do not know God belong right here, in John chapter 8 verse 44 — Your father the devil. It feels bad to hear, but it is the truth. So when something urgent comes up, people go to a shaman or a fortune-teller. And even Christians who are saved and go to church — you see them go to extreme mysticism. Why? Because they think that is how they will do well. It’s not that people go to places like Shincheonji or Yeongsaenggyo not knowing what they are. They go knowing full well. They go to these spiritual churches because that is where they get something strange done for them. That thirst inside them, that need to keep acting like a shaman — that gets satisfied there. It is wrong. It just keeps getting harder.

2. Strong Nation – War

Where did this Satan burrow into? He burrowed into strong nations. That is how things get done. When he burrows into strong nations, what comes out? War, right? Isn’t that what comes out? Up to now that is all a strong nation without knowledge of God has ever done — wage war, kill people every day, and ruin itself, nothing else. Here, this phrase Legion demon — you must grasp it immediately. That’s just how it is. Military missions is extremely important, everyone. Even now, if I were the devil, I would go into the military. Right? Isn’t that so? What good would it do to hang around with poor street sweepers? Go into the military, seek out the high-ranking people, those who can wage war, kids like Kim Jong-un, and help lead them into disaster. The forces of darkness always make use of strong nations. That is why strong nations have always built idol temples beyond your imagination. Whenever a king arose in a strong nation in the past, he always emphasized idol worship. Without fail. That is all spiritual warfare going on, you just don’t realize it. This was true right up until our own Japan, which demanded shrine worship. It’s the same thing. Rome, do it for Zeus. They forced it. In Babylon, King Nebuchadnezzar said, Bow down. And the three friends who knew this refused. Those friends understood something.

3. Spiritual Illness (Spirit, Heart, Mind)

Now, what does this ultimately produce? In the end it comes out as spiritual illness. It comes out as spiritual illness, but it does not come out just like that — the individual suffers greatly before it comes out as illness. In the end, what is the last stage of these people’s spiritual illness? It’s that Satan and demons, invisible to our eyes, become visible. Once you get there, you have gone as far as you can go.

4. Incidents

As churches come to this point, incidents begin to happen.

1) Suicide – Murder

What comes out here is suicide. This is coming out so much. It is serious. There is a lot of suicide in the military. It’s not something the military caused. People with bad understanding say, What could have happened in the military? No. A person who ends up having to commit suicide gets to that point in the military because they cannot endure it there. Why? Because having gone through these stages (introduction, points 1 and 2), they already carry spiritual illness. Because their spirit, heart, and mind are already diseased, this (suicide) becomes inevitable. Someone who commits suicide is, in a sense, weaker; someone more severe goes on to commit murder. This is the situation we are in now.

2) Crime

And so all kinds of crimes keep breaking out. Right now they keep happening one after another in America. Now kids bring out guns and just start shooting. Just last week there was another church shooting. It keeps happening. People say, Why not just stop selling guns? but that isn’t the answer either. Because if guns exist, those bad people, those troubled people, will get guns one way or another and truly start killing everyone. That is possible. In America everyone has one at home. Because if they don’t, intruders will come in. They have no choice but to keep them, that’s how it is.

3) Drugs

Now these people mostly just kill and commit crimes, but that in itself is not the whole issue — even the military and, of course, schools have been infiltrated by drugs, and this is entirely a spiritual problem. There’s a difference between someone who tries drugs out of curiosity and quits, and someone who gets caught by drugs and keeps sinking deeper. That’s how it turns out.

5. Military

This will move back toward the military again.

1) Matthew 24:1-14

Why? Because going forward, the age described in Matthew 24:1-14 will bring turmoil, war, and all kinds of conflict.

2) Revelation 12:1-9

Looking at Revelation 12:1-9, at the last time there will be great confusion, war, and terrifying things happening, and Satan cannot help but be involved in it. Military missions must be done properly. So I believe that even a small number of us can accomplish this.

▣ Main: Only the Gospel, Only the Kingdom, Only the Holy Spirit

Only the Gospel

Here’s why. Just having the gospel is not enough. It must be only the gospel. Satan is not afraid of a half-hearted gospel. That’s right. Why would Satan fear something you treat as a mere hobby? Those who know this are the ones gathering with us in military missions right now. Only the gospel. Simply put, only Christ. It is precisely the person who knows this word that the forces of darkness finally fear. Some watered-down gospel, some mixed gospel, done half-heartedly — they are not afraid of that at all.

Only the Kingdom

Only the Kingdom of God. This is what they fear.

Only the Holy Spirit

Only the Holy Spirit. This is Calvary, Mt Olive, the Mark’s upper room — is this not the final message? Hold on to this firmly. This is not stubbornly insisting that nothing else is needed. It is about knowing what only Christ, only the Kingdom of God, and only the Holy Spirit truly mean. Every time these people come out, they overturn this (the introduction).

Christ-izing

If that’s the case, there is one thing left for you to do. Because we belong only to Christ, we Christ-ize the field.

Throne-izing

Because it is only God’s Kingdom, we throne-ize it.

Healing-izing

Because it is only the Holy Spirit, we bring them to life and heal-ize them with God’s healing. You must save them. Do this, and it is finished.

1. [Strong Nation]

First. You must all remember this, and the military missions teams especially must remember it, and all of you must know it and pray. Through those who know Christ-izing alone, God has always entrusted strong nations. That is why soldiers are needed and military missionaries are needed.
1) Slave
2) Captive
3) Vassal state
When these three things happened — becoming slaves, captives, a vassal state.
4) War
The many periods of war that arose in between.
5) Displaced people
When a nation eventually falls and its people become displaced, that too happens through war. To those who understand this reason — slave, captive, vassal state, war, displaced people — God entrusts strong nations.

The moment you understand this today, history will begin. Do not be deceived at all. Even though it looks like it started with us, with no power at all, here in Busan, it is now shaking the whole world. China itself has acknowledged it. They said, Of all the Christianity that has come into China, the Dabang movement is the most fervent. That’s how it is. China has acknowledged this. At a general assembly of one of the mainline denominations, someone gave a report saying, This group called Dabang is spreading across the whole world like a virus — we too must wake up quickly and evangelize. They acknowledged us as a virus. That’s a good thing. It means they have recognized us. It means their eyes were opened, even if that was their intent. You must open your eyes too. If you hold on to this covenant, God will save the world even through this — slave, captive, vassal state, war, displaced people.

2. Three Churches

There are three things that only those with the gospel can do. There are three churches that only you can carry out.

1) Throne (3.9.3) Platform

What is the first? Build this blessing you carry into a platform called 3.9.3 completely. This person [the throne (3.9.3) platform] is the one He has raised up. This [the throne (3.9.3) platform] is the church He is using. You are already set up for this. Now all you need to do is turn it into reality — Christ-ize, throne-ize, and truly healing-ize yourselves, and works of God happen.

2) Watch Bartizan

Second. Because almost all of you are caught up in disaster right now, build a watch bartizan.
(1) 10%
In the past, about 10 percent were psychologically struggling.
(2) 30% to 50%
Not now. It’s 30 to 50 percent, and 30 percent are relying somewhat on medication and hospitals, up to that (50%) point. Because they can manage even while spiritually struggling, it stays at that (50%) level.
(3) 90% to 100%
You must remember this. Soon it will reach 90 to 100 percent. A strange age has come. You must be able to see this in order to become a watch bartizan. This is the content of the church the military missions team will build going forward. You must produce it.

Light

Now, you need a watch bartizan to see those in danger, don’t you? And that watch bartizan must be shining light for them to come, right? Because you enjoy the blessing of the throne through God, you cannot help but become a platform. From today, military missionaries, do this (three churches) 24. The mark of the platform is 24. The mark of the watch net — it’s a bartizan, so it must be 24, right? That’s what the 24 means.

3) Antenna (Communication) – Prayer

Truly, God’s power comes through this. This is called an antenna. What is an antenna? It is communication. Now you already know why God entrusted strong nations to those who have the gospel. It is not just the gospel — it is entrusted only to those who have this (only the gospel, only the kingdom, only the Holy Spirit) gospel. It is the church given only to those enjoying this (only the gospel, only the kingdom, only the Holy Spirit) gospel. Without a doubt. So going forward, this is what will fully bring your church, our church, into being. Isn’t the mark of this antenna communication? It is always in communication. Simply put, it teaches the secret of the Word and of prayer. These are the three things.

3. Military Healing Ministry Team

One last thing remains. This is the thing God most needs from those who have this gospel — quietly build this going forward. Form a ministry team that heals people in the military who have spiritual problems.

1) Meditation movement

This is extremely important. Quietly, do the meditation movement.

2) Summit movement

Talk about healing later; quietly do the summit movement.

3) Healing movement

And do a healing ministry without drawing attention. This is absolutely necessary. Why is this necessary? Because you must pray a great deal as you do this. There are too many among the elite who want help but have nowhere to go.

Not long ago, a very famous singer — someone all of you would recognize if I named them — met our team and heard this message. But because they’re so famous, they can’t come to us; if they came it would cause chaos. So we are ministering to them in that kind of situation. This is a story you all already know, and that’s not really my point — the point is that these people truly have nowhere to go.

That’s why the ministry team of military missionaries who can help one-on-one is needed. This may look small, but it becomes enormous. You may not realize how important even one single person is. Helping them may not always produce a big visible answer, but the answer will come regardless. To the one who holds not just the gospel but only the gospel, not just gospel-izing but only gospel-izing — God without fail entrusts a strong nation. Scripture said so. Who evangelized strong nations in Scripture? Soldiers did.

Give these people a platform showing them what a true church is. Plant a watch net and an antenna firmly into them. Try it starting today. They cannot help but come. And then, as the last thing, quietly — do not show off at all. Firmly build the healing ministry team. This time the military ministry teams can fully carry this out, and if you build this (healing ministry team), many people will come and connect.

Look at how wisely this must be done. How does that third group operate? They make it a program people are proud to attend. So these people are clever about it. They don’t do anything different — but that meditation of theirs is dangerous, in the end. It’s a serious danger, but through that (meditation) they have taken over the world right now. So I’m telling you, revive the meditation movement.

Simply put, if you properly teach what it means to pray while enjoying the gospel, works of God will happen without fail. There’s nothing difficult about it. If you hold onto this covenant from now, God will certainly provide.

So to truly revive the military, we need the historic work of God’s power sent toward strong nations. For those who come to us, we need a platform, a watch bartizan, an antenna that can give them a real answer. The last thing we can do is have someone within the church who ministers healing humbly, without any show. The moment someone shows off, those in high places will not come. Right? They won’t come. You must be the kind of person that even a president could secretly come to. Right? Someone who shows off cannot do this. That person cannot minister behind the scenes. Isn’t it true that the real people who need this have nowhere to go right now? Even within our own church, aren’t there outstanding people among those spiritually struggling? Seoul especially is dangerous. In Seoul, the moment someone comes, it shows immediately. You must pray about that. Movie stars quietly come to our church, and then someone rushes over wanting a photo, clinging to them. The church must let them pray quietly instead. This is something the church urgently needs to prepare for.

For a long time, Immanuel Church Seoul, through a certain well-known person, has had many famous singers come. But they never settle in. Because there’s no system for it. But how good is the military — everything is already structured. There’s nowhere to run off to while in the military, and it’s just perfect that way. You can do the best ministry there.

Don’t you see this if you look at the introduction? When someone with even a little understanding of the gospel comes into the military, they can immediately tell, because they have spiritual eyes. There are already two kinds. Among those who come into the military and get bullied, there’s the kind who just can’t adjust — you can generally tell who they are. But even that kind of person doesn’t know what to do. But it’s not only that kind. There are people in normal, high positions who are suffering greatly spiritually. You need eyes to see that.

Let me tell you how desperate these people are — I’ve shared this testimony before. A person in the military cannot leave their unit and do personal activities, can they? But I needed to run a summer Bible school at my church, and since I was a pastor, when I made the paperwork and asked for three days of leave, of course they said no. I knew that would happen, and when they tried to cancel it, I spoke to the commander. The commander and I were close because we studied the Bible together — but even then, we weren’t actually that close. That became the turning point. He looked at this document and started telling old stories. Simply put, this person wanted to believe. He wanted to hear something. And I told him this part right here (the introduction). It slowly started coming out. This person became extremely interested. That’s how it happens.

That’s an intelligent person, that person. Most people caught in this problem are actually intelligent. What most of you see is just a person bound in chains breaking free — that kind of person from the introduction. That’s because it’s visible. Coming into the military, you look at someone who clearly can’t cope and think, Oh, that kid is a person of concern. That’s about how much you notice. But among high-ranking people, this is everywhere. So the approach is: when you see someone in the military who seems a bit maladjusted or struggling, they are without question someone being tormented by this (the introduction) — go and give them an answer. What is a chaplain’s assistant for? They need to give that kind of answer. What is a chaplain for? If they can’t give that answer, they shouldn’t be doing the job. Truly, that’s how it is. Are we supposed to wait until it gets worse and they cause an incident?

Honestly, here’s an even more absurd story. I’ve mentioned this before — in Washington, I won’t say the name. A certain student attended our gathering. Change began happening in them. Through attending the gathering, hearing about Christ, hearing the Word, change began. This actually happened. Normally no one had helped this student, but once people heard they had received grace through Dabang, they suddenly targeted them intensively. They said the student had gone down the wrong path. They attacked them relentlessly — real churches must never do this. This concentrated attack drove them away completely.

The student gave up on Dabang entirely and stopped going to that church too. A year later, that person caused a major incident in Washington. I won’t say the name. Churches truly need to wake up. I don’t know what they think they’re doing. I don’t know who they think they’re living for. That spiritually struggling child received the gospel and was on the way to recovery — you could have helped them and talked it out later. It should have been based on that child’s survival, but instead they attacked them so much that the child exploded.

▣ Conclusion: [Military Missionary]

Who is the true military missionary?

1. Active Duty

They are active duty soldiers.

2. Reserve Duty

Who is an even more important military missionary? Reservists.

3. RT

An even more important military mission going forward belongs to the Remnants who will come.

You must firmly remember these three. You must set the bound free. Jesus healed that person without even asking a question. Jesus healed the demon-possessed man without asking why. He said, I have called you to give you this authority.

Today, our military missionaries, and all of you who pray for military missions even if you are not one — if you simply understand the message, the answer will come. This is not my own words. Look carefully at Scripture. Living a social life, a life of faith, without knowing this is simply impossible. The whole world right now is filled with spiritual problems, and to think we can rescue and help people without knowing this — that isn’t impossible, it’s just the wrong path. You must see the right path.

Today, to all of you confirming this covenant, I bless you in the name of the Lord to receive the very best answer of grace. You military workers are important. I say clearly — you don’t need to do much. You need to build the strength to know and yet be still. Platform. You understand, right? You already have this answer, so all you need to do is build a watch bartizan that shines light so others come.

If you know what prayer is, what evangelism is, what covenant is, then as long as your antenna is solid, you can remain still and it will still work. So your very existence is important. That’s what I believe. The fact that we, church leaders who carry this gospel, exist — that itself is the answer. These are not my words. Jesus said, You are the light of the world. Right? Not, Become light. He said, You are light. He said, Just turn on the light. So no matter what difficulty comes, it’s fine. That is a sure timetable through which you see God’s great covenant. I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to receive many answers this week as you ride this flow of prayer. Let us pray.

We thank You, God. Let all the saints realize this calling today. Especially, Lord, add Your amazing grace to our military workers. We have come to an urgent time. Add great grace to us. Let a great fire of prayer arise. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

Summary

▷ How do we respond when unexpected difficulty comes?
▣ Introduction_ Any danger can become an opportunity. The people prepared for this were the 7 Remnant.
▷ Today’s text shows the disciples riding in a boat with Jesus when a furious squall strikes, water even pouring into the boat, and in their fear they wake the sleeping Jesus and beg to be saved. At this point Jesus rebukes the wind and the sea and makes them still, and says to the disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

1. When fear close to death comes, those without the gospel and the covenant suffer great shock at that moment, and carry lifelong trauma, wounds, and spiritual problems.
▷ Knowing the gospel or not knowing it makes all the difference. Those who don’t know the gospel are ruled by Satan’s spirit; those who know it are ruled by the Holy Spirit.

2. For those who hold the covenant, this moment prepares something for their whole life. – What always makes us struggle is sickness, poverty, and incompetence. When those who hold the covenant see these things, these three are transformed into tremendous answers.

3. What happens in today’s text simply means: prepare the vessel. – You of little faith! Jesus is right here — why are you so afraid?

▣ Main_ How should I handle the difficulties and major accidents that come to me? Three things to remember

1. God gave it to us because we need it.
1) Disaster cannot defeat Christ, so it cannot defeat me, who has Christ
2) So he tells us to grow our faith. Nothing can block the gospel.
3) Jesus is with us, so know who I am, know my identity.
(1) Scripture calls out “Jacob, Israel” like this. We often, without meaning to, become Jacob, but our true identity is Israel.
(2) Whenever he speaks something important, the reason he says “the God of your father Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob” is that he is the God of the promise, but it also means: know who you are.
(3) Through five brushes with death, I came to know who God is and who I am, and God gave me, as a lifelong answer, the message that any difficulty can be overcome. (an evangelist’s testimony)
(4) It looked as though Joseph unjustly became a slave and went to prison, but God gave Joseph exactly what he needed most. David lived as a fugitive, but God gave David exactly what he needed most. Knowing this beforehand is what we call “faith.”
(5) The disciples, and we too, are people meant to evangelize the world, so no difficulty can defeat us.

2. It is a time to discover what matters.
1) A time to discover my own weakness – before the furious squall, I, science, my own effort — none of it can do anything; that is the human condition.
2) A time to discover Christ’s true power – Christ who blocked Satan and disaster and forgave us. When his name is proclaimed, the power that binds darkness and fundamental disaster appears.
3) A time to discover the meaning of the life of faith – the Lord is with me right now. We must know this meaning. If so, even a storm is no problem.

3. Speaking of an important beginning.
▷ Everyone has a past, a today, and a future.
1) The past that makes us sick, that never disappears – a beginning that makes it a complete stepping-stone
2) Eyes to see today – every storm and hardship is the beginning of blessing
3) The future – the beginning of world evangelization. This is what we must make certain.

▣ Conclusion_ Before going into slavery in Egypt or captivity in Babylon, take hold of the covenant, save yourself, and conquer. Gain strength beforehand, before sickness and hardship come. This is the real covenant.

▷ Three things we must do first, before praying and committing to the temple building

1. What is the lifelong theme I need restored? He will answer. Take this as your lifelong prayer topic, and do God’s final work – the temple building and prayer must fill you with anticipation.

2. The first church on earth to have a system that heals the 237 nations and builds them through the Summit. I take part in this – I must be grateful.

3. I will leave behind, before the next generation, a legacy that completely leaves behind a gospel culture. The answer must come to the point where I would be willing to give my whole life for it.

Thank you. There are times unexpected danger suddenly strikes us. How we respond at that moment matters enormously.

▣ Introduction_ Any danger can become an opportunity. The people prepared for this were the 7 Remnant.

Let me state the conclusion first: you can turn any danger into an opportunity. The people prepared for that were the Remnant of the Old Testament era.

In today’s text, Jesus was riding in a boat with his disciples. Suddenly a furious squall struck. It wasn’t just that the storm hit — water was pouring straight into the boat. Right now, this is happening. Anyone would be terrified in that situation, right? The disciples were terrified and acted this way, but Jesus was asleep. At that point they woke Jesus. “We are about to die, and you’re sleeping? Save us.” That’s what they said. Jesus at once rebuked the sea and the wind and made them completely calm. And then he said this: “Why are you so afraid? Why do you have no faith?” He gave this great teaching.

1. When fear close to death comes, those without the gospel and the covenant suffer great shock at that moment, and carry lifelong trauma, wounds, and spiritual problems.

Now, when an unexpected crisis close to death suddenly strikes us, what happens? At such a moment, those without the gospel or without a prepared covenant suffer great shock. Knowing the gospel or not makes all the difference. I’m truly sorry to say it, but those who don’t know the gospel are ruled by that satanic spirit. Right? No matter how imperfectly you may feel you’re living out your faith, those who are saved, who know the gospel, are ruled by the Holy Spirit. When sudden crises hit, many people develop trauma and get wounded this way. Even if it seems small, it lasts a lifetime.

Someone I know was wounded in the Vietnam War, but the wound itself wasn’t the problem. This person developed a spiritual problem. I watched him struggle with it his whole life, unable to break free.

2. For those who hold the covenant, this moment prepares something for their whole life. – What always makes us struggle is sickness, poverty, and incompetence. When those who hold the covenant see these things, these three are transformed into tremendous answers.

When this kind of sudden, huge danger comes, for those who hold the covenant, something lifelong is being prepared. In our childhood, the first thing that came to trouble us was poverty. And what always made things hard for us was sickness. Our whole country was like this, but the third and biggest problem that came to us was our lack of ability. We were simply incompetent. If only we had ability, but we didn’t. Because I personally witnessed these three things, for me they turned into a tremendous answer.

3. What happens in today’s text simply means: prepare the vessel. – You of little faith! Jesus is right here — why are you so afraid?

You must become someone for whom this is a time of covenant, today. Simply put: prepare the vessel. What’s happening here today is simple: it means prepare the vessel. In that sense he said, “Why are you afraid? You of little faith, why are you afraid? Jesus is right here — why are you so afraid?” He gave this word. Whatever danger comes to you, if you hold onto this covenant you will see something amazing. How do you handle a difficulty that’s already with you? Something like a huge accident suddenly strikes you. What must you do? You must remember three things.

▣ Main_ How should I handle the difficulties and major accidents that come to me? Three things to remember

1. God gave it to us because we need it.

First. God gave it because we needed it.

1) Disaster cannot defeat Christ, so it cannot defeat me, who has Christ

So this disaster cannot defeat Christ. Disaster cannot defeat the gospel. Then disaster cannot defeat you. That’s what today’s text shows us. “Look,” he says. “Even when this storm, this furious wind, strikes, can’t it still be overcome?” This means Jesus overcame it.

2) So he tells us to grow our faith. Nothing can block the gospel.

Why does he give us what we need? He tells us to grow our faith. Grow your faith. Whatever comes, you can be certain: “disaster cannot block the gospel.”

3) Jesus is with us, so know who I am, know my identity.

“Do you know who you are?” This is what he’s teaching right now. Right? Jesus is present, and though they are disciples, they’re terrified — so at this moment he’s making them realize their identity.

(1) Scripture calls out “Jacob, Israel” like this. We often, without meaning to, become Jacob, but our true identity is Israel.

This appears often in Scripture. “Jacob, Israel” — the same person, with the old name “Jacob” and the new name “Israel,” appears often in Scripture. He cleverly calls both names together. “Jacob, Israel.” If we’re not careful, we become Jacob. Right? But our true identity is “Israel.”

(2) Whenever he speaks something important, the reason he says “the God of your father Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob” is that he is the God of the promise, but it also means: know who you are.

This comes up often in Scripture. Whenever he speaks something important, it comes up often. What does it say? “I am the God of your father Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” That means “I am the God of the promise,” but it’s also asking, “Who are you?” Does he say “the God of your father Abraham” to just any unbeliever? No. So it’s said to believers. “The God of your father Abraham” — he says this because you need it.

(3) Through five brushes with death, I came to know who God is and who I am, and God gave me, as a lifelong answer, the message that any difficulty can be overcome. (an evangelist’s testimony)

When I was young, I had about five experiences of thinking, “Ah, I’m going to die!” Two of these involved water. There’s a quiet spot in our village where some people come during summer, but normally there’s no one there. There was a reservoir. Since I was young, and there was no one there, I went into that reservoir. I think, from my guess, there was a deep spot there. I fell in. I fell in, and at that moment the feeling I had was, “Ah, so this is how you die!” I actually felt that. So without even knowing it, I must have gone under and come up over and over. Things flashing before me, sinking again — in that moment what I remember feeling was the very smell of the water. That’s how sharply I felt it. So I was dying. But that wasn’t a place people usually passed by. Someone happened to walk by, saw me, and pulled me out. Even though it was a short time, when I was young, it was a huge experience for me.

And then there was another time, when I was a young evangelist, still a student, and we ran into a storm heading to a retreat. There was probably a storm warning issued, but back then people didn’t follow the rules strictly, so they loaded the kids up and set out, and it suddenly started raging. Little by little more people gathered, and we were headed to Gadeokdo, with about seven of us aboard along with luggage. It was a fairly small boat. It was fine when we departed, but at some point along the way, past a certain point, it suddenly started raging. I became extremely flustered. But what made it even more alarming was seeing how flustered the captain steering the boat became. “Oh no, this is serious,” I thought. It wasn’t just me — everyone aboard was struck with the fear of death. How can I even describe that feeling in my heart? “Ah, so this is how I die,” it felt like that. Wasn’t the boat about to capsize? And I especially can’t swim. I’d have to somehow get out and walk, but that wasn’t possible. At that moment the thought suddenly came to me: “Ah, I’ll be in tomorrow morning’s news.” Those moments kept coming one after another, and it didn’t just end quickly — it kept happening. Then a navy ship came. They must have realized it was dangerous. So we boarded a large naval vessel and were rescued. It happened, I think, because there was a naval base nearby at just the right time.

Even more dramatic — strangely, I’ve experienced fire three separate times. Once as a child, our entire village burned down. But I crawled out of the fire, like this. Since I was so young at the time, all I remember is “fire, fire broke out” and crawling out holding my mother’s hand — that’s all I remember. Even adults died. In those days, everything was shanty housing, all packed together tightly, so the houses were all narrow and connected at the top, back then. Once the fire caught there, what happens? When I was young, I crawled for hours holding my mother’s hand, escaping like that. It’s almost a miracle that we made it out alive, but when a certain adult saw me and touched my head, my head just crumbled apart in pieces. Even so, my face was unharmed. So experiences like “Ah, I’m going to die!” — once I came to understand the gospel, these became something tremendous for me. “I faced death five times, but I couldn’t die!” I came to know who God is, who I am. “God is giving me the message that any difficulty can be overcome” — that became my lifelong answer through experience. If handled wrongly, this could have become trauma and wounds, but for me it became my lifelong answer.

(4) It looked as though Joseph unjustly became a slave and went to prison, but God gave Joseph exactly what he needed most. David lived as a fugitive, but God gave David exactly what he needed most. Knowing this beforehand is what we call “faith.”

You must remember this today. What looks like difficulty coming to me is actually God giving me what I need. It looked as though Joseph unjustly became a slave, but God gave Joseph exactly what he needed most. Right? Then your perspective changes. Your answers change. It looked as though he was unjustly framed and sent to prison, but God gave Joseph exactly what he needed most. David spent a long time as a fugitive facing death, but God gave David exactly what he needed most. Knowing this beforehand is what we call “faith.”

(5) The disciples, and we too, are people meant to evangelize the world, so no difficulty can defeat us.

Because they lacked this, he said, “Why do you have no faith?” Who is Jesus? Who are the disciples? They weren’t people meant to tremble and die in that storm. Right? That’s what he was pointing out. You are children of God. You are evangelists meant to save the age. You are not people meant to die from the storm and hardship happening right now — that’s what I’m saying. That’s the first message in today’s text. You must hold onto this firmly. We’re not forcing comfort onto ourselves. If you really are meant to evangelize the world, can a storm swallow you? Right? Even more important — Christ is with you, so how could darkness win? It can’t win. That’s the first message of today’s event.

2. It is a time to discover what matters.

What’s the second point? It’s a time to discover what matters. What did they discover?

1) A time to discover my own weakness – before the furious squall, I, science, my own effort — none of it can do anything; that is the human condition.

They discovered their own weakness. When a storm hits with a furious gale, human beings are helpless. Even with a furious storm raging, science is powerless. What good would effort do in the middle of a raging storm? It’s impossible. The storm strikes with full force. “Ah, we humans can do nothing!” — that’s the discovery.

2) A time to discover Christ’s true power – Christ who blocked Satan and disaster and forgave us. When his name is proclaimed, the power that binds darkness and fundamental disaster appears.

At this moment they discovered true power. That furious wind was stopped by a single word from Jesus. The only one who has ever overcome the existence of Satan is Christ. Everyone else says, “if you sinned, take the punishment,” but the one who said, “I will block the disaster for you,” is Christ. Every religion teaches that you’re punished according to what you’ve done. Only Christ said, “I will forgive you.” This is the gospel. They saw true power. I believe this. How could such power appear wherever the name of Christ is proclaimed? Darkness is bound to be restrained. The fundamental disaster that destroys you is bound to kneel before Christ. This is what they discovered.

3) A time to discover the meaning of the life of faith – the Lord is with me right now. We must know this meaning. If so, even a storm is no problem.

What else did they discover? They discovered meaning. You must know the meaning of the life of faith. The Lord is with me. You must know this meaning. The storm is frightening, but Jesus is in that boat. You too must know the meaning of your worship, right? Some people say “I can’t pray,” and ask, “How do I pray?” There’s no need for that. It’s simply the 3-9-3 prayer to God — try giving meaning to everything, just once. If you do, your meaning becomes tremendous. The Remnant of 7 believed in the God whom no one believes, not even the kings of the mightiest nations. Right? It’s easy to be misled — “the nation is so vast, why would there be a God?” No. Every great power has fallen. Isn’t there proof? Every great power has fallen, I tell you. Even today, without the gospel, even a great power will meet ruin. Someone needs to boldly tell America. Someone needs to boldly tell Europe. They’re hiding it. Going forward, there’s a real possibility that 100 percent of people could become mentally ill. Right now it’s already at 30 to 50 percent — it’s practically chaos already.

Go out and see for yourselves. Doesn’t it feel strange? It is. These days you have to watch what you say wherever you go. Why? Because there are so many people who have lost their minds. If I ever have to drive, even when it’s not my fault, I automatically say “I’m sorry.” Even when the other person is clearly wrong, I say “I’m sorry.” There are so many people who’ve lost their minds — it’s terrifying. These days, people even kill their own parents. In the old days it was over money, but now it’s not even about money. There’s no reason at all. They just kill. This will hit 100 percent, going forward. Only Christ can solve this. Right now the developed nations don’t understand this. Japan doesn’t understand. Even Japan’s great prime ministers don’t understand this. Even America’s great past presidents don’t understand why spiritual problems came to America. The adults don’t understand. It’s completely abnormal. The Remnant are the ones who stay connected, paying attention and praying and watching. It’s completely abnormal. That’s why I keep saying, “Remnant who are not armed with the gospel, don’t go study abroad.” You shouldn’t go. A Remnant armed with the gospel is now like a vast field — that’s what it is. You must know the meaning. Christ is with you — that’s what I’m saying. If so, even a storm is no problem at all. That’s what I’m explaining today.

3. Speaking of an important beginning.

This is the final, third point. Speaking of an important beginning. What good is it to just know the covenant? We need to make an important beginning. Everyone has a past, a today, and a future.

1) The past that makes us sick, that never disappears – a beginning that makes it a complete stepping-stone

Today, what covenant is Jesus teaching you to hold, through the lesson of this event? Your entire past never disappears. It must become a stepping-stone. People say “the past is gone,” but that’s not true. It’s what kills people. Right? Those who fall ill fall ill because of it. So we must make our past into a complete stepping-stone.

2) Eyes to see today – every storm and hardship is the beginning of blessing

What is today? How should we view today? Turn all this hardship and storm into a blessing.

3) The future – the beginning of world evangelization. This is what we must make certain.

What is the future? No matter what anyone says, it is the beginning of world evangelization. That is our future. This must be made absolutely certain. You must hold this covenant firmly.

▣ Conclusion_ Before going into slavery in Egypt or captivity in Babylon, take hold of the covenant, save yourself, and conquer. Gain strength beforehand, before sickness and hardship come. This is the real covenant.

Now, let me draw the conclusion. What must you do to receive this blessing? Before going into slavery in Egypt, take hold of this covenant, don’t go into slavery — save Egypt instead. This is God’s will. Before being taken captive to Babylon, already take hold of the covenant, don’t become a captive — conquer Babylon instead. This is the real covenant. You might gain strength by praying after you fall ill. But God’s will is that you not fall ill at all, and gain this strength ahead of time. That is the truer covenant. Of course we may face hardship. If we face hardship, we can overcome it. But before that hardship comes, already hold God’s covenant firmly and conquer. That is the gospel covenant. God’s plan does not change. You must go as a slave, a captive, a subject nation. Why? Because you’re not doing missions. Because you don’t even know what missions means. It’s about blocking darkness. Blocking the darkness that simultaneously destroys the whole world, transcending time and space — that is evangelism and missions. Because you don’t go, you’re sent. If you don’t go, you’ll be sent. That is slavery, captivity, subjugation. In other words: realize this and take hold of the covenant before it comes to that.

▷ Three things we must do first, before praying and committing to the temple building

This week, too, must become a time when you hold the covenant and enjoy a tremendous blessing from God. As we begin praying about the temple building, don’t just pray randomly, and don’t make any commitment carelessly either — first do these three things.

1. What is the lifelong theme I need restored? He will answer. Take this as your lifelong prayer topic, and do God’s final work – the temple building and prayer must fill you with anticipation.

What is my lifelong prayer topic, the theme I need restored? Pray holding onto this. God will answer first. Through the Remnant who held the covenant, didn’t God give it to them first?

What is your biggest problem? Take this as your lifelong prayer topic, and do God’s final work. Pray about that. Try holding onto it and praying, and see what happens. Fight bravely against poverty. Hold onto that and pray. We have no reason to be afraid. Fight against sickness. Grasp that prayer topic firmly.

What’s the second thing? So the first prayer is that the temple building must fill you with anticipation. Right? If there’s truly no anticipation in your heart, that’s not prayer. It means you haven’t yet understood. So those who know worship feel anticipation when they come to worship. “Ah, what word will God give me today, with even more grace?” That anticipation — that’s what it means to know worship. Someone told me this: before they were married, this couple used to walk a long road together, and yet it always felt too short. Now they drive, but the road feels long. That anticipation has disappeared, you see. That’s how it is. If you truly discover the real thing, you’ll feel that anticipation. “Wow, what will God plan and accomplish through this temple building?” — think about that for a moment. As you may know, our Immanuel Church is being watched by other denominations and by the whole world. Especially you, and Pastor Ryu Gwang-su, are being watched with fiery, intense eyes. We’ve already won in Seoul, and buying that church building was no easy task. As we live, why did even our own denomination oppose it? They even broadcast messages opposing us on CBS radio. Time will tell. Don’t be afraid. You must have anticipation. Why? Because you know what God is going to do. Scripture never shows mere prayer without this.

2. The first church on earth to have a system that heals the 237 nations and builds them through the Summit. I take part in this – I must be grateful.

What’s the second thing? It is the first church on earth to create a system that heals the people of the 237 nations and builds them through the Summit. I get to take part in that. I must be grateful.

3. I will leave behind, before the next generation, a legacy that completely leaves behind a gospel culture. The answer must come to the point where I would be willing to give my whole life for it.

There’s a third thing. Before the next generation, I will leave behind a legacy that completely leaves behind a gospel culture. This is shocking. You must know this and pray. The answer must come to the point where you’d say, “It’s fine even if I give the rest of my life to this.” The early church reached the answer that it was fine even to die. That kind of person cannot be defeated. I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus that this week truly becomes a week where you take hold of God’s certain plan. I will pray now.

Thank you, God. Help us realize what truly matters. Help us understand the meaning of the storm. Help us realize the reason and mission of those who are saved. Give us a covenant from God that can overcome any danger. Make us people of God who are equipped with strength before danger even comes. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

▣ Main_ Reasons
1. Reason He called the ones he desires (you) – “he called to him those he wanted, and they came to him.” Matthew 13:11-13

▷ The reason he spoke in parables was so that this word would be understood by some, and so that others would not be able to understand it. If suffering brings blessing, then those without faith and with spiritually darkened eyes do not choose it.

1) the remnant – one who looks abandoned but is actually the remnant.
2) the pilgrim – one who looks scattered but is actually a pilgrim.
3) the conqueror – one who looks like a wanderer but is actually a conqueror.

2. Reason for being together – “he called them to be with him.”
1) platform of the throne (imprinting) – imprinting them so that the power of the throne becomes their platform, so they will never fail.
2) bartizan of light (rooting) – causing the bartizan that shines light to take root, so they never change.
3) antenna of communication (constitution) – making the antenna that communicates spiritually part of their constitution.

3. Reason for evangelism – “and also that he might send them out to preach”
1) healing the 237 – we must heal the 237 nations. Multi-ethnic people must be able to live in our church as if they were its owners.
2) idol nations – the 237 nations have become idol nations.
3) idol culture – they possess idol culture.
4) spiritual illness – they carry an incurable spiritual illness.
5) RT – heal them through Summit.

4. Reason for authority – “and to have authority to drive out demons.”
1) satanic culture – the whole world is gripped by satanic culture.
(1) the three organizations – America has been completely seized by the three organizations.
(2) works – they are producing works.
2) 100% – the whole world is gripped 100% by a culture of demons.
3) an age of mental illness

5. Our reason – the reason he called us is for the 237, healing, and the Summit
1) war with darkness – it is easy to fight because we carry the light.
2) war with spiritual illness – because the authority to heal belongs to the Lord, we will certainly win.
3) the problem of the next generation – something else – the next generation across the whole world has been abandoned. They have no understanding at all of God’s power. They are filled with other harmful things. Summit education is urgent. Our next generation must come to church and gain spiritual strength.

▣ Conclusion_ The characteristics of the 7 Remnant

1. Gospel (covenant) – They had completely arrived at an answer. They were fine going into slavery. They were fine not being adopted into a palace. Because the Lord was their shepherd, they needed nothing. They had only power as their goal. They held a value worth even dying for.
2. Reality (answer) – They were not deceived at all by reality. They received an answer and used it to save others.
3. Highest, best, greatest – Their standard was never low. They went to the highest level. Raise them from the worst to the best, to the greatest.

▷ This is our final mission.

You may not realize it, but our screens and worship today are at the very highest level. Glory be to God. Especially today is the important Remnant Summit Committee’s Teacher Dedication Service. Much time has passed, and I feel that education matters greatly. Elder Hong Byung-hee, who is emceeing today, I first met when he was a college student. Not when I was a college student — when Elder Hong Byung-hee was a college student. So over a meal I prayed for him. And as time went on, he bore much fruit — he became an elder at our church, and he became a professor at Seoul National University, and things turned out this way. Not long ago I met him and said, “Let’s go all in for the Remnant.” That’s because there’s no other way.

Reasons He Called Us

Reasons He called us. We should know this, shouldn’t we?

▣ Introduction

First, let me tell you something important in the introduction, something you always tend to forget. Those who have just come to faith ask a lot of questions like, “What should I do?” They also ask a lot, “How should we educate our children?” And even lay people, even church leaders, ask this. “What should I do?” They ask like this. And also, “How should we raise our children?” — there will be many such questions. But those who at least ask these questions are still relatively good people, decent people. A person like me doesn’t ask at all. I just figure it out on my own. That’s actually worse.

1. Cause

So there’s a major cause that usually happens without our knowing.

1) My own thinking (Genesis 3:4-5)

We inevitably live by our own thinking. Knowing this, Satan seized exactly upon that. In order to steal God’s great blessing, he said, “you matter.” This is exactly the same even today. Even today, the key that the three organizations teach is “you matter.” That’s what they teach.

While reading through material, I once listened to a Michael Jackson song. That person is not just a singer — he’s a member of the three New Age organizations, so a complete message comes through. It’s not just a popular song, not just entertainment. A complete message comes through. Of course the person is outstanding in musical technique, singing skill, dance, and so on. But once you set that aside, in the end a message comes out. There’s material on this — go take a look sometime. You’ll be completely shocked. A complete New Age message is put out. This — my own thinking (Genesis 3:4-5) — is exactly what it puts forward: you.

2) Us (Genesis 6:4-5)

Going a bit further, this applies to “us” as well. Same thing. We need eyes to see this. That’s Genesis 6:4-5. Becoming Nephilim. In simple terms, you thought you were working hard together, but you get seized.

3) Success (Genesis 11:1-8)

And whether we are believers or unbelievers, don’t we all commonly want success? Because we must succeed. A person without God is deceived by this. They get used by it. Isn’t that the Tower of Babel movement? These three things are still continuing today, and that’s why they matter so much.

2. Solution

So God gave us this solution. That solution — Genesis is an extremely important book. Problems come up, but so does the solution.

1) Genesis 3:15

“he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” This is what it says.

2) Genesis 6:14, 18, 20

“Noah, build an ark for yourself. Build an ark for your descendants. Build an ark to preserve life.”

3) Genesis 12:1-3

And since the place where the Tower of Babel was built was Chaldea, in Genesis 12:1-3 it says, “Leave Chaldea. Leave your country, your relatives, your father’s household.” Just saying “leave” would be hard, but it says, “Go to the land I will show you.” That is tremendous.

3. God’s word (prayer, worship)

“Go to the land I will show you.” Follow God’s word. Here come three things you always tend to miss. Let me write a little in English for our international friends.

[ Trinity ]

“The Triune God will be with you always, invisibly.” Believers must never miss this. Unbelievers can afford to miss it, but believers must not.

[ Throne ]

He will be with you with the blessing of the throne.

[ Ages(3) ]

And then something important came up. Three ages. He will save all of your past, present, and future — this is extremely important.

He gave this message [Trinity, Throne, Ages(3)]. This — the introduction — is actually a summary of the whole Bible. So you must be able to teach this. This is exactly what gets missed. Some church members — it’s not important which denomination they belong to — but some church members don’t even know what original sin is. They don’t know what the sin leading to destruction is. They don’t know why Christ came. They don’t even know what prayer is or what worship is. How can they win like that? If you just hold onto this, the answer is guaranteed to come.

▣ Main_ Reasons

So today there are five important reasons for you.

1. Reason He called the ones he desires (you)

“He called to him those he wanted, and they came to him.” This is important. “He called those he wanted, and they came to him.” Simply put, he called you. It’s not that you were chosen for salvation because you were outstanding — God called you. You should know the reason he called the ones he desires.

[ Matthew 13:11-13 ]

In Matthew 13:11 and 13, Jesus said something important. Why does he speak in parables? “So that this word may be understood.” Later comes something even more important: “in order that other people, the foolish, or certain others, might not understand.” That’s right. If suffering brings blessing, then no one without faith, no one with spiritually darkened eyes, will choose it. Because it’s suffering. That’s exactly why they grab it. My goodness, I’ve watched our church for several decades, and I’ve never seen this — but with some churches, when even a small trial comes, they have no gospel left at all. They abandon everything completely.

Look carefully. He called those he desires. What is the reason?

1) the remnant

You look completely abandoned, but you are the remnant. This is the person he called. Did the people of the early church look abandoned? No.

2) the pilgrim

Do they look scattered? Pilgrim.

3) the conqueror

Do they look like wanderers? Conqueror.

These are the people he called. He called the people who fit this description. You must remember this. What must we pass on to the next generation? You are the remnant. So you will become the one who remains, who is left, who leaves something behind. Pilgrim. Why are you in that difficult place? Pilgrim and conqueror. Without a single exception the Bible calls it “sojourner” — it always comes up this way. If you are on a difficult path right now, you are on the path of a sojourner. That is the pilgrim. Now, let me speak briefly on each point.

2. Reason for being together

“He called them to be with him.” What is this reason? This must be taught to the Remnant, and you must have it too. In that short time, what is the reason for being together?

1) platform of the throne (imprinting)

It is to give the blessing of the throne as a platform. This is imprinting. Imprint deeply into our next generation so that the power of the throne becomes their platform, so they never fail. Bit by bit I’ve been seeing our Remnant Summit teams rise up, and within this I’ve seen prayer arise too. This must be completely imprinted here. “Well, pastor, you may not know this, but don’t we still need education for the children?” Of course it’s necessary. But I’m telling you, do this — the introduction — with power. Not once in history has a great power ever saved the world. Never, historically. Think carefully. Are great powers saving the world right now? Think carefully. That’s why he said go to Rome. This must be made clear to the Remnant. If you don’t understand this and go study abroad, it’s a disaster. You’ll be corrupted there by bad influences. In every age, great powers have had power, so there’s nothing to be done about that. But they have always brought war and slavery and ruin. You must know the reason you go there.

We must tell this to the Remnant. You have been called by God as the remnant, the pilgrim, the conqueror, and the reason we are together is that the power of the throne becomes your platform.

2) bartizan of light (rooting)

It is to make the bartizan that shines light take root in you. That’s how you never change.

3) antenna of communication (constitution)

Finally, what is it? An antenna that communicates spiritually is extremely important. This must become part of your constitution. In the end, what’s the reason for being with Jesus? So that this [platform of the throne (imprinting), bartizan of light (rooting), antenna of communication (constitution)] happens. You must remember this.

3. Reason for evangelism

And then he said this. “and also that he might send them out to preach.” What’s the reason we must evangelize? Evangelism is just evangelism, but shouldn’t we know the reason? You must remember this.

1) healing the 237

There is so much these people from the 237 nations don’t know historically. We must heal them. You have many multi-ethnic people here with you now. Don’t treat them superficially — if you look closely at these people, if you really become close with them, you’ll see or they’ll reveal what needs healing. So you must remember this. Not all multi-ethnic people carry this, but there’s something there. They must not be guests in our church. They must be able to live as if they were the owners. Korean people who marry internationally bring their spouse to church, but that spouse never settles in. Why? Because they always have to feel like a guest.

2) idol nations

Right now, throughout much of the world, 237 nations have completely become idol nations, as you know.

3) idol culture

And they have completely idolatrous culture. It’s hidden.

4) spiritual illness

So they carry a completely incurable spiritual illness. They have it. This is the reason for evangelism.

5) RT – Summit

So heal the Remnant through the Summit. That’s the answer. That is the reason for evangelism.

4. Reason for authority

And then he said this fourth thing. “and to have authority to drive out demons.” You must know this reason. It would help to refer back to today’s first service.

1) satanic culture

If you actually open your eyes, the whole world is gripped by satanic culture. If you don’t see this, then living abroad has no meaning at all.

(1) the three organizations

I heard that someone living in America was told this from us here in Korea: “America has been completely seized by the three organizations.” They had no idea. They are completely seized. So we have a talented Remnant, Cho Hyung-rae, who is studying in America. This young man is truly gifted. His professors recognize him. And doesn’t that professor say to him, “How did you know about those three organizations?” I heard he asked. That professor is a world-class scholar, and he’s someone who studies and worries about these three organizations. It’s hard to find a professor like that in America. Most professors are on that side. So when our Remnant said, “Ah, I heard it from our pastor,” the professor was apparently shocked. It’s completely seized.

(2) works

So these three organizations have completely produced their works now. They’ve seized digital control and completely dominated third-industry corporations. Now the fourth and fifth industries are worth fighting for. I pray that our Remnant will rise up through the fourth industry into the fifth industry. It’s possible. There’s just one thing you need to know. So what is the fourth industry now? Semiconductors, bio-technology. All of that is headed toward the fourth industry. Satan has completely seized culture through darkness. Would Jesus have said, needlessly, “in order to give authority to drive out demons”?

2) 100%

As I see it, the whole world is caught 100 percent in a culture of demons. As far as I can tell, it’s 100 percent. Our country is a little better. In our country, there are 300,000 registered shamans. How do I know this? Since 300,000 shamans have registered, they are now struggling to demand, “Recognize us as a religion too, starting now.” So I understand 300,000 have submitted their names, and they’re saying, “Why only recognize Christianity? Recognize us as a religion too.” This is happening right now. It’s not even at the level it used to be.

3) an age of mental illness

If it were good for this reason, how wonderful that would be. But this has completely made people fall ill. It is a complete age of mental illness. “He also called them to have authority to drive out demons” — that’s what was said.

5. Our reason

So finally, what is the reason God called us? Right now. The reason He called us is simple.

1) war with darkness

It is a war with the culture of darkness, for the sake of healing the 237 through the Summit. That’s why he called us. But since we carry the light, it’s easy to fight.

2) spiritual illness

The reason he called you, right now, is to fight spiritual illness. Because the authority to heal belongs to the Lord, according to today’s first-service sermon, you will certainly win.

3) the problem of the next generation – something else

What’s even more serious? The problem of the next generation. All of you — you’re in a bit of a hurry. Right now the next generation across the whole world has been abandoned. It’s not that parents don’t know — they simply have no choice. I know people who set up mission homes abroad to raise children — I think they suffer the most. They know everything — the children’s problems, school problems, everything. You in Korea speak easily about this, but there is so much these people can’t even talk about. Children speak differently to school, to church, to their parents, each one different, trying not to cause worry.

We don’t know this. “Our child would never do that…” — no, that’s not true. Once, I went to evangelize at a school, and I found out a certain Remnant student had been beaten by another student for three years without telling anyone. I found this out by going to the scene myself. Isn’t that shocking? Beaten for three years — that means, tracing it back, it had probably been happening even before that. But once he got to high school, he was seriously beaten for three years. He said he was a delinquent, but I checked, and he wasn’t a delinquent at all — he was just a student. Just a student. Even young children, both here and abroad, worldwide, suffer terrible sexual violence — they’ve all been abandoned. Is this happening to everyone? Nearly everyone. There’s no solution. Right now, when you send your children out, you must really know what to watch for. That’s why he called us — for this.

Something else

These children of the next generation, as they grow up, have absolutely no understanding of God’s power. That means they are filled with other harmful things. It’s urgent. That’s why I keep saying our church urgently needs this Summit education. If some people say things like “that’s too far, that’s too close,” then they should just leave — that argument doesn’t hold up here. Here, we don’t calculate that way. If you’re someone who carries this message, as I’ve always said, even if the church were built on a cliff, you’d climb up on a rope to get there.

Do you know why? Right now the next generation is in serious trouble. It cannot even be spoken of. It’s serious. Nearly every problem originates from the great powers. Apart from our Remnant who hold the gospel firmly, if you go to America or Europe, you’ll be victimized without exception. Does not being victimized mean you’ve won? Not at all. Our church’s Summit and Remnant Summit Committee must be done in earnest. Money matters, but there are things worth being far more careful about — this must be done in earnest. Where else can they find the answer? Our children must gain spiritual strength by coming to church. When they go out into the world and become weak and come under spiritual attack, there’s no one to help them. That’s why God sent them here. So going forward, when we buy the remaining land here and build on it, we must make it so that the Remnant can come and rest comfortably and receive training. We must make it so the very culture, the very culture, becomes one where they naturally come up to our church on Saturdays to pray.

Multi-ethnic people should say, “I’ve discovered a spiritual problem — I need to resolve it. Let’s go to Immanuel.” They must come up here. Where’s the distance in that? Distance doesn’t matter here. The old churches used to be like this. The old church members simply didn’t know it. Distance was never the issue — it’s this age that’s the issue. Actually, when you think about it, if there’s a place with good food, you drive there without hesitation. You can go without eating that, but you cannot go without winning this spiritual battle — this you must not skip. You must pray. You must really pray.

▣ Conclusion

Let me draw a conclusion. Our 7 Remnant had several characteristics.

1. Gospel (covenant)

First. They had completely reached the answer through the gospel covenant. They had completely arrived at an answer. To what degree? “It’s fine to go to prison. It’s fine to go into slavery. I don’t even need to be adopted into the palace.” That’s how far it went. “Because the Lord is my shepherd, I need nothing.” “I don’t need Gilgal. I don’t need Jericho either — just give me power.” This was the difference. They understood something. They truly understood something. “We are fine even walking into the fire” — that’s what came out. They could go into the lions’ den. That doesn’t mean death was preferable — it means they held a value worth even dying for.

2. Reality (answer)

Second characteristic. These people were never deceived by reality. What did they do instead? They answered with the answer they had received. They never said, “our parents did wrong.” They received the answer and used it to save their parents. That’s the characteristic. They didn’t say, “the leader was wrong.” Instead, they received the answer and used it to save the leader. David never once said that King Saul had done wrong. In fact, when others said, “Let’s kill King Saul,” David said no. This is the Remnant who moved history. If, while listening to this broadcast, any Remnant is falling into trial because of the church — don’t fall into trial. The church and you are related, but that particular incident has nothing to do with it. Let me say it again to the Remnant: “Ah, why are our parents like this? Why did they make such a huge mistake…” It has nothing to do with it. Does your parents’ divorce making your life hard have anything to do with it? Ask yourself. It doesn’t. That mother was a woman before she was a mother, and that father was a man before he was a father. It has nothing to do with the Remnant. It’s related to them, but regardless of that matter, you must save them. Understand? This is the second characteristic of the Remnant.

3. Highest, best, greatest

Third. Their standard was never low. They went to the very highest level. Now there’s no other way. In the Remnant Summit Committee, we select the children and raise them to be the very best, the highest. There’s no reason for it other than the gospel. Raise them from the worst to the best, to the greatest. There’s nothing to regret in this, nothing to look back on with reluctance. This must be done.

God has made this promise, and he will fulfill it. This is our final mission. Because of you, I bless in the name of the Lord Jesus that the work of saving the Remnant of the world will happen. I will pray now.

We thank you, God. Let today be a precious day when we firmly hold onto this covenant. Let it be a day when the gates of heaven open and your work happens. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Summary

▷ No theory, no church movement, has ever succeeded. Only the Remnant who holds the sure gospel can bring change. That word is Remnant. That’s why we made RLS, RGS, RTS, and RU, and today is a day to pray for this.
▷ How can we really receive the answer that will save America? And how can you, scattered all over the world, save your nations? We must ask this question seriously. How can someone like me change my own family line? More importantly, I have no strength — how can this happen? We must ask this question seriously.
▷ Today’s text is the word of victory that the Lord gave in the worst possible situation, when the early church had become a subject nation of Rome and was branded a heresy both by law and by public opinion.

▣ Introduction_ Only when we make three discoveries in Christ do we truly begin to receive answers.

1. Watching a church pay more attention to unimportant things, I discovered prayer. – If I can pray, then it doesn’t matter what trials the church faces, what mistakes the elders make, or whatever happens to me and my household.
1) If I can pray, it doesn’t matter where I am.
2) If I enjoy the power of the gospel, what I go through doesn’t matter.
3) If I receive an answer, I can save them. – What I discovered at this point was the 7 Remnant. What happens around Joseph doesn’t matter. It was actually a blessing.

2. While doing evangelism, I discovered the reality of people 100 percent seized by Satan and running demons’ errands. – The answer that came out of this was Mark 1:39, “he… drove out demons.”
1) I discovered many outstanding people and successful people carrying even greater difficulties.
2) Freemasonry — practicing, at an advanced level, a Nephilim movement that leaves Americans completely possessed through three organizations, engaging in daily spirit-communication to produce works — as a result, the spiritual problem has spread throughout America and Europe.
3) Churches with no interest in this at all. Churches that talk only about other things. The bigger problem is that churches are closing their doors.

3. At this point I discovered the two kinds of authority Jesus gave. – He gave us the authority to overcome Satan, and the authority to move the heavenly army through prayer and worship.

▣ Main_ God who gave us three special kinds of authority

1. He gave us the authority of children who can overcome all darkness.(John 1:12) – authority of identity
1) Mark 3:15 – The reason he called us was to give us authority to drive out demons.
2) Luke 10:19 – When the seventy returned from the field, he spoke of giving authority to overcome Satan.
3) Matthew 28:16-20, Mark 16:15-20 – He works with us always, holding all authority in heaven and on earth.
4) Acts 16:16-18 – Paul used the authority to save an entire town in the name of Jesus.
5) Acts 12:1-25 – When the church was in difficulty, the church leaders gathered and prayed, and that night God sent his angel, struck down King Herod, and rescued Peter.

2. Jesus entrusted this authority to us.
1) Jesus, who healed the sick who were too poor to receive help and the disease the world could not cure (leprosy), and drove out demons (Mark 1:39-42)
2) He entrusted this authority to us.
3) Believe and try praying. It simply doesn’t come at the time I want — but the answer will surely come.

3. He gave us the authority to pray for the salvation of the world.
1) If someone with strength who holds this authority arises, people can be saved and the world can be changed.
2) Jesus prayed in the early dawn.(Mark 1:35) – We must rise at dawn to pray, prepare, and use this authority. Remnant must develop the habit of rising early and finishing things ahead of time.
3) After his resurrection, Jesus gave a wonderful blessing concerning prayer.(Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:8) – He told us to wait. That means to pray.

▣ Conclusion_ Go into a solitary place. Go into prayer.(the 7 Remnant)

1. Joseph, who went into prayer in the midst of extreme loneliness with no one to help him
2. David, who while being pursued went into prayer moment by moment and found his answer – he confessed, “my shepherd, my refuge, my fortress”
3. Jesus, who prayed at dawn – there is nothing more to be said for us
4. The church leaders of the early church, who in the midst of hardship became one and went into prayer – from here Mark’s upper room church, the Antioch church, and the figures of Romans 16 were born.

Many things have happened in history until now. But it has been confirmed that no theory has ever succeeded. The world is now harder than ever. No church movement has ever succeeded. So only the Remnant who holds the sure gospel can bring change. That word is Remnant.

So the first thing we made was the Remnant Leaders School. That’s RLS. We also made the Remnant International School. That’s RGS, the Remnant Global School. We built a seminary. Remnant Theological Seminary, RTS. That’s our seminary. And it’s just a beginning, but in the most important nation, America, we built Remnant University. That’s RU. Today is the day for you to pray for that. It seems like a day made simply so that you at RU would offer some financial gift — that’s the plain expectation. That’s necessary, but I believe something more than that is needed.

How can we really receive the answer that will save America? And how can you, scattered all over the world, save your nations? We must ask this question seriously. How can someone like me change my own family line? More importantly, I have no strength — how can this happen?

This is the message given during the worst conditions the early church faced. It had become a subject nation of Rome, and it had also been branded a heresy. Even more frightening, this was made into law. Even more frightening than the law was that public opinion was formed this way — public opinion was set that “those Christians of the early church are heretics.” At that very moment, Jesus gave a message of victory. All of you must now take hold of this covenant.

▣ Introduction_ Only when we make three discoveries in Christ do we truly begin to receive answers.

Honestly, since I attended church from childhood, I didn’t even know what prayer was. I didn’t know the gospel well either. And I didn’t really know what an answer to prayer was. I just went to church. I later realized how foolish that was. Once I came to realize it, I began by thinking, “Ah, I must do gospel movement.”

But the real answer was that I discovered three things in Christ. I had to discover those first.

1. Watching a church pay more attention to unimportant things, I discovered prayer.

As I watched this church, I thought, “Ah, they’re paying so much attention to things that don’t matter compared to what really matters!” I saw this from my youth. “If we really had the power of the gospel, that alone would be enough, yet we spend so much time on other things.” You can’t just do nothing, of course. Church work matters. “As we go about doing the work, we lose sight of what truly matters.” So “the church suffers more from trials than it receives grace.” I’m not saying that’s true of our church — I’m speaking of what I saw from childhood. It makes you realize a great many things. The church should be full of grace, but it becomes hard. I saw that.

1) If I can pray, it doesn’t matter where I am.

This is where I got a great answer. “It doesn’t matter.” I realized that if I am God’s child and hold the gospel, it doesn’t matter. “Rather, if I receive answers, I should pray for them.” That’s what I realized. Before, I was always resenting the church or resenting people, but I realized, “That’s not it.”

Many people say, “Well, when the elders make mistakes, the Remnant fall into trial…” That’s not true. It doesn’t matter what circumstance you’re in. If you can pray, it doesn’t matter where you are. That’s what I realized.

2) If I enjoy the power of the gospel, what I go through doesn’t matter.

If you enjoy the power of the gospel, what you go through doesn’t matter. From that point on, the answers came. Before that, honestly, I didn’t even know what prayer was. No matter how much I studied the Bible, I still didn’t understand prayer. You must remember this. Theological study? I still didn’t know what prayer was.

3) If I receive an answer, I can save them.

Whatever happens around me one day, it really doesn’t matter. I don’t mean it has nothing to do with me — I mean it has nothing to do with the answer. If I receive the answer, I can save them. Right? Whatever happens in the household, it doesn’t matter. If you receive the answer, you can save your household. Right? That’s when I discovered the 7 Remnant. Whatever happens around Joseph doesn’t matter. It’s actually a blessing.

2. While doing evangelism, I discovered the reality of people 100 percent seized by Satan and running demons’ errands. – The answer that came out of this was Mark 1:39, “he… drove out demons.”

And that’s how I really came to do evangelism this way. As I did evangelism, I discovered another astonishing thing.

1) I discovered many outstanding people and successful people carrying even greater difficulties.

I met successful people. I met many outstanding people. As I got older and more active, naturally that happened, right? But I found that these people also carried even greater difficulties. At that time, a word I had never thought of in my life struck me.

In today’s verse 39, Jesus said something theologians pay no attention to. What does verse 39 say? At the end it says, “So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.” It seems like nothing much. Since pastors don’t use this word, I thought it was nothing significant. But I saw this in the evangelism field. “Ah, this is it — this is why Jesus said this.” I saw it out in the field of evangelism. People are 100 percent seized by Satan, running demons’ errands. When I said this, the Korean church united and pushed back, saying, “Is this demonology?” No. From that point on I understood why this prayer is needed.

I used to think prayer was only to God. I hadn’t looked at the world, so I hadn’t seen, “Ah, it’s dying like this.” So today, Jesus says — this comes up again in the second service — “in order to give authority to drive out demons.” That’s what Jesus said. Is Jesus crazy? Is Jesus a demonologist? Was Jesus demon-possessed? Jesus saw it as something important. Today again, “he preached and also drove out demons.” Honestly, I was quite shocked.

2) Freemasonry — practicing, at an advanced level, a Nephilim movement that leaves Americans completely possessed through three organizations, engaging in daily spirit-communication to produce works — as a result, the spiritual problem has spread throughout America and Europe.

What shocked me even more was going to America and seeing it. “Ah…” Americans do things you can’t even imagine. They practice a completely demon-possessed Nephilim movement at an incredibly advanced level. This involves three organizations. I was shocked. I didn’t even think about the people living in America, but seeing it in person shocked me. Isn’t it hard enough just being here at church today? These people are Freemasons, gathering every day to practice spirit-communion. And through this, they produce musical works and all sorts of things. Do these people have that much time? They’re successful people. A representative figure among them is someone like Bill Gates. A representative figure among them who died is someone like Michael Jackson. And people who died from spiritual problems, like Steve Jobs.

3) Churches with no interest in this at all. Churches that talk only about other things. The bigger problem is that churches are closing their doors.

I was quite shocked. The church has no interest at all. Is that even a church? A big church that talks about something else entirely — even Pastor Robert Schuller’s church closed down. That shocked me. Why does the Bible speak of Satan and demons from Genesis 3 all the way to Revelation? I never even thought about that before. When I was at a “higher level,” I didn’t think about it at all. Now that I’ve seen the field, maybe my level has come down.

Because of this, the spiritual problem is now spreading throughout America and Europe. What are they doing about it? We’ll cover that in the second service — for now, it’s simply too serious. The bigger issue is that these churches have now begun to close their doors.

3. At this point I discovered the two kinds of authority Jesus gave. – He gave us the authority to overcome Satan, and the authority to move the heavenly army through prayer and worship.

Absolutely not. At this point, God is calling the Remnant and calling you. Will people mock you? They always have. Whenever someone insignificant arose to save the world, everyone mocked them without exception. Especially, they mocked the early church. “Those ignorant people.” “Those nonsensical people gathered together.” “What — leaving the temple to gather in an upper room, those madmen.” That’s what was said.

The content is completely different. At this point I discovered something important Jesus gave us. What is it? Authority. “Ah, this is why he gave it.” He gave us authority to overcome Satan. I realized this deeply. He gave us authority to move the heavenly army when we pray and worship. He gave these two. The Korean church questioned me about these two. I want to discuss this again. This is important. This is what I discovered. “Ah, that’s it.” Seeing it out in the field — he gave us tremendous authority. Of course, without it we can’t win. We have no strength. God gave us authority to break through darkness — that’s it. Of course the Triune God is with us, and he also gave us authority to move and be helped by the heavenly hosts. I discovered these two things.

▣ Main_ God who gave us three special kinds of authority

Please confirm this by checking the Scripture, looking at history, and confirming through the field. This is what RU must do, and this is the answer you who pray for RU will receive. He has given us three special kinds of authority to enjoy. In content it’s two, but right now, when God’s work happens, darkness is broken and the heavenly army is mobilized — this is happening right now, and the question is what he gave this for. Please remember — there are three.

1. He gave us the authority of children who can overcome all darkness.(John 1:12) – authority of identity

He gave us the authority of children able to overcome all darkness. John 1:12. “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” — this is entirely an authority of identity. Now, if we neglect this, what happens? What we must do matters, but even more so, darkness rises up enormously, and he gave us the authority of God’s children to overcome this.

1) Mark 3:15 – The reason he called us was to give us authority to drive out demons.

And Mark 3:15 says, “The reason he called you was to give you authority to drive out demons.”

2) Luke 10:19 – When the seventy returned from the field, he spoke of giving authority to overcome Satan.

When the church leaders — the seventy — returned from going out, Jesus spoke in Luke 10:19. “I have given you authority to overcome Satan.”

3) Matthew 28:16-20, Mark 16:15-20 – He works with us always, holding all authority in heaven and on earth.

After his resurrection, Jesus said again, “I have all authority in heaven and on earth, and I will always be with you.” And in Mark it says, “In my name drive out demons.”

4) Acts 16:16-18 – Paul used the authority to save an entire town in the name of Jesus.

Paul, knowing this, used the authority in the name of Jesus to completely save a whole town. Knowing this, figures like David said, “You mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word — bless the Lord.” That’s how David prayed.

5) Acts 12:1-25 – When the church was in difficulty, the church leaders gathered and prayed, and that night God sent his angel, struck down King Herod, and rescued Peter.

Looking at Acts chapter 12, the church faced an urgent difficulty. Let me say it again — it’s not a “difficulty.” Perhaps some churches in our current upper-room fellowship are experiencing conflict right now. I don’t see that as a problem. I see it as God’s ordering. I believe God is giving realization. I believe God is laying a new foundation for a blessed future. Right? If you understand it wrongly, you won’t receive answers. That’s why you keep running Satan’s errands like an unbeliever. It’s not a difficulty. At this point the church leaders gathered — in simple terms, the elders, deacons, and deaconesses — and began to pray. “That night God” — Scripture clearly records this — sent his angel, called King Herod away, and killed him. He sent his angel and released Peter. This speaks of this authority. He gave us exactly the authority of children.

2. Jesus entrusted this authority to us.

Even more important is the second point. Jesus entrusted this authority to us. He showed us these three examples today.

1) Jesus, who healed the sick who were too poor to receive help and the disease the world could not cure (leprosy), and drove out demons (Mark 1:39-42)

The poor who were sick and unable to get help — Jesus went and found these people and healed the sick. This is an important statement. Do you know what America’s sickness is? It’s sick. No one talks about it. All the children have fallen into drugs. No one talks about it. Why? Because there’s no solution. The UN once discussed it — what should be done? What can be done about the youth problem? There’s no solution. Later on, Jesus healed the disease the world could not cure — he healed leprosy. Today’s text also says, while healing many sick people, what came out? He healed a spiritual disease — a demon-possessed person, he drove out the demon. This is extremely important.

2) He entrusted this authority to us.

He gave us this authority.

3) Believe and try praying. It simply doesn’t come at the time I want — but the answer will surely come.

Believe and use it, please. Try praying. “No answer has come,” you say? No. It’s not that it never comes at the time I want — it always comes. From beginning to end, isn’t it always “me”? Set yourself aside. We think the answer is for me, prayer is for me, and even waiting is for me to wait for — no. It’s prayer toward God, the answer God gives — that’s what we must receive.

3. He gave us the authority to pray for the salvation of the world.

This third and final point — he gave you a special authority.

1) If someone with strength who holds this authority arises, people can be saved and the world can be changed.

What authority did he give? He didn’t just give us authority to overcome darkness — he gave us authority to pray for the salvation of the world. Isn’t that amazing? Don’t be deceived. You are children of God. Don’t be fooled by listening to impressive people. Are they impressive? They’re dying without God. Look at what politicians around the world are doing right now. Without God, there is nothing that can be done. We need the strength to save them. That is authority. If Christians today have no strength, we cannot help them. In the middle of it all, when someone with this authority, someone with strength, arises, that is what brings change.

2) Jesus prayed in the early dawn.(Mark 1:35) – We must rise at dawn to pray, prepare, and use this authority. Remnant must develop the habit of rising early and finishing things ahead of time.

Today, in Mark 1:35, it says Jesus prayed like this “in the early dawn.” At the break of dawn. Why? Because he had a body, at dawn. Please, rather than painfully forcing yourself to do dawn prayer, become truly a person of the dawn. You must rise at dawn to pray, create what’s important at dawn, and conquer at dawn. You must use this authority. I say this to the Remnant. Build the habit. The way for you to conquer the world is simple. Rise earlier than others. Rise early and pray. Finish everything before others even begin.

There was a famous basketball player, world-renowned, who has now retired — that player confessed this. He would rise alone at dawn, when the ground couldn’t even be seen yet. That’s what he said. He would rise when it was too dark to even see a coin dropped on the ground. Alone, he would make 500 shots without fail, every single morning, alone. Some would go in, some wouldn’t, naturally. But he’d make 500 successful shots. While everyone else was still asleep. By the time this person had prayed, washed, and gone out, there was no comparison when he faced others.

3) After his resurrection, Jesus gave a wonderful blessing concerning prayer.(Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:8) – He told us to wait. That means to pray.

After his resurrection, Jesus gave this wonderful blessing concerning prayer. “I have all authority in heaven and on earth, and I will always be with you.” At the very end he also said, “You will receive power when you are filled with the Holy Spirit.” So, “wait.” “Wait.” This word means “pray” — that’s what it means. When we worry about this world, he says, “Don’t worry about that. Wait.” When you see your problems, don’t worry. Pray. History will surely happen. Spiritual history happens invisibly, so it will surely happen. “You will be my witnesses to the ends of the earth.”

Back when I was a young evangelist, my pastor once told me to lead dawn prayer for a week while he was away somewhere. That was a busy time when I needed to study theology. But to get to that church for dawn prayer, I had to get up very early. During that week of dawn prayer, I was completely dazed with sleep. It was hard just to get up, hard just to go, and as I walked I’d be holding my Bible and dozing off, dozing off as I walked. One day, as I was walking along dozing, I ran into something — a utility pole. Thankfully, back then utility poles were made of wood. In our childhood. So I wasn’t badly hurt. I said to myself, “Ugh, who came up with this dawn prayer thing?” It was Jesus who came up with it.

Back then, once I received this grace and came to this realization, I made a decision to pray at dawn for 40 days and stuck to it. Why? Because no one could interrupt me. No one but myself could stop me. I was overcoming myself. At the time it seemed like the answer wasn’t coming, but that’s not true. The answers keep coming, again and again, without end.

▣ Conclusion_ Go into a solitary place. Go into prayer.(the 7 Remnant)

Those of you at RU, go into a solitary place. You don’t need to worry about anything else. You who pray for RU, go into a solitary place. This means go into prayer, that’s what it means. The 7 Remnant did this.

1. Joseph, who went into prayer in the midst of extreme loneliness with no one to help him

In loneliness with no one to help him, Joseph had a reason for not defending himself. There was no one to help him. He wanted to say, “I didn’t do it,” but there was no one to listen. This, everyone, is extreme loneliness. Right? Nowadays you’d hire a lawyer and speak up, but he had none of that. Joseph went into deep prayer in prison. Didn’t God give him special wisdom?

2. David, who while being pursued went into prayer moment by moment and found his answer – he confessed, “my shepherd, my refuge, my fortress”

Don’t worry — go into a solitary place. Start praying, that’s what I’m saying. Look at David while he was being pursued. In every single moment, David went into this prayer. Into prayer where answers can be found. And so he said, “The Lord is my shepherd.” How many battles must he have fought? “The Lord is my shield,” David said. “The Lord is my refuge, my fortress.” This is what he confessed.

Really do this. Don’t worry. Don’t be deceived. If you worry, you’ll be deceived. If you’re anxious, since you’ll be tempted to act rashly, there’s no need to worry. Blessing comes right after that, so why worry? The answer comes right after the problem, so why worry? Isn’t that right? Many people have problems, yet things are going well for them. But isn’t it going well when our own children go through hardship? Right? Why? Because it’s the process of making them into outstanding people.

3. Jesus, who prayed at dawn – there is nothing more to be said for us

And so Jesus himself prayed at this dawn hour. We have nothing more to say.

4. The church leaders of the early church, who in the midst of hardship became one and went into prayer – from here Mark’s upper room church, the Antioch church, and the figures of Romans 16 were born.

Representatively, when the early church leaders faced hardship, these leaders became completely one and went into prayer. From there, Mark’s upper room church was born. From there, the Antioch church was born. From there, the figures of Romans chapter 16 were born, that’s what I’m saying. Don’t be deceived by any deceptive word, don’t be deceived by public opinion either — hold on to God’s word and show the evidence. It will surely come. Spiritual history cannot be stopped by others. That’s why it comes. Spiritual history is something ordinary people don’t understand. That’s why it always wins. I bless you in the name of the Lord to become this witness.

America is urgent. Please pray for RU. Parents don’t know. Children are trapped in drugs. That children fall into immorality goes without saying — they are also caught in mental illness. Parents don’t know, and even when they do know, they don’t talk about it, because it’s too overwhelming. You really must be careful when sending our Remnant to study abroad. It’s that dangerous. We have our Remnant and also our professors in America and Europe. I hope you stay strong. I will pray for you.
