Faith and Prayer

Mark 11:24. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Before we pray, we must listen carefully to the Word of God and believe His promise. The disciples heard Jesus curse the tree the day before, yet no one took His words seriously. Only the next morning did Peter remember, surprised at what had already been fulfilled.

In the same way, if we treat God’s Word lightly, we will miss the blessing of seeing His Word fulfilled in our lives. When we pray, we must believe and not doubt, or we will be like a “wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind” (James 1:6).

But whose power must we trust when we pray? Jesus said, “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22). Prayer moves the hand of God:

I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest,
and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth.” (Isaiah 62:6–7)

So do not be discouraged or shaken when you pray. Believe in the power of your Father.

Prayer offered in faith makes the impossible possible. Our situation may appear hopeless, but nothing is impossible with the Lord. He can move mountains and “shake the heavens, earth, sea, and dry land” (Haggai 2:6). So stop doubting—start believing (Mark 11:24).

As you hold onto God’s covenant and trust His power, you will see His glory (John 11:40). When you pray, your standard must be God, not yourself. If we rely on our own perspective, we will fail.

Consider the Israelites at the Red Sea. Scripture says they were “terrified and cried out to the Lord” (Exodus 14:10). Why? Because all they could see was Pharaoh’s army bearing down on them. Moses saw the same army—but he also saw the hand of God and declared:

Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today… The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:13–14)

Moses believed his life was in God’s hands. He trusted in the power that struck Egypt with plagues, and he held firmly to the covenant of the Messiah, knowing God was leading His people toward that promised fulfillment.

So believe in the One who brought you out of the kingdom of darkness and now leads you by His Spirit. He will guide your life into eternity.

Stop focusing on your present circumstances. Start trusting the One who transcends all circumstances and understanding. Faith in the Lord opens your eyes to see from God’s perspective. You will discover God’s perfect plans in everything.

When God becomes your standard, you will know what to pray, and you will see His answers in all circumstances. Do not fear the mountain before you. As Mark Batterson, an American pastor, beautifully said: “There comes a moment when you must quit talking to God about the mountain in your life and start talking to the mountain about your God.”

So begin moving it by the power of prayer.

Prayer. Father, I thank You for placing a mountain before me so I may grow in faith in You. I believe and declare that no mountain is higher or greater than You. Nothing is impossible with You. Help my unbelief. Teach me to live a faith-filled life that pleases You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The True Power (7 Talents) and the Answer of 25

2023.10.22 District Message
Scripture Reading: Philippians 4:6-7

If we mention one strength of the Jewish people, it is that they strictly keep the Sabbath starting from Friday night. They do not allow anything else at all. That means, of course, that they concentrate. And because of that, the Jews in fact have taken over the world. Putting aside the bad things and speaking only of the good, that is what it means.

The Three-Day Weekend Age
So you must open the three-day weekend age. On Friday, you need to have a schedule for prayer and for taking care of your health. As you grow older, you must hold onto proper prayer and take care of your health. And on Saturday, things need to proceed centered on our remnants. The remnants should give presentations, see things, hear things; you must help them do this. Today’s lecture is for doing this (the three-day weekend age). On Sunday, you must go completely centered on worship. If you begin spending your weekends like this, tremendous works will arise. And on Saturdays like this, we sometimes go out to have fun. You can come have fun at church. And your family gatherings—those can also be held at church on Saturday. In that way, I am saying that you should equip the church with a system. “Let’s have our family gathering at church.” You must reach that level. So Saturday must become a day for such gatherings and conversations.

The reason for doing this is that we must have true ability. We must equip true ability, and that is why this must be done. Especially when speaking of remnants, it is the seven talents. This must communicate with the throne. That is the twenty-five answers. By just looking at the words, you can understand.

Introduction – [Genius]
So the Jews succeeded in seven particularly important things.

  1. RT – [Talent] + [Expertise] + [Field-ness]
So now, what you must understand a little is that for the remnants, the most important thing is discovering their talent. When they fail to discover this properly, they grow older and suffer. Some even graduate from university but do not know what they should do; if it becomes like this, it becomes difficult. As you know, what is called genius is something that comes down from heaven. Isn’t that so? But because they do not know prayer, they cannot properly discover this (talent). As you know, it is difficult to reach a certain level, so they say Seoul National University, Yonsei University, and Korea University are SKY. Last year, at those three universities, 2,000 students dropped out. It is hard to get in, and people think just getting in is a blessing, but they dropped out—that is not just a few hundred, but 2,000. That means, “There is no meaning in studying here.” They failed to see this (talent) properly. So you must absolutely open the three-day weekend age, teach remnants prayer, and help them find their talent. When you teach this talent, what follows from it is expertise. And then you help them understand the field properly. That is why Jews have synagogues. So it is a situation in which the Jews cannot help but conquer the world. Even among the three organizations, the core members who move things are Jews.
  2. Church Leaders (Work) – Only, Uniqueness, Re-Creation
Now, the church leaders in the three-day weekend age—what is most in front of you is your work. Or your workplace, the place close to you. You must pray and make it into this (only, uniqueness, re-creation). This is possible only through prayer. Doing something others cannot do does not happen by itself. You must absolutely do this.
  3. New Family – Past (Platform), Today (Camp), Future (New Masterpiece)
At this time, it becomes a chance. This is when you bring new family. New family members must be given three things. You cannot leave their past alone. You must make their past become a platform inside the gospel. This is what new family members need most. You have lived the life of faith for a long time, but new family members have just come for the first time, so they have many things with them. They have many scars, too. So their “today” is the camp of enjoying the blessing of the throne. Because without this light, it cannot work. And you must allow these new family members to make a completely new masterpiece of their life. That is the future. You must do this during the three-day weekend age.

Main Message

  1. Talent
Now, let us take a look at the parts where talents were discovered.

1)Reading – The Word
The Jews take responsibility to read three books: the Shema, the Torah, and the Talmud. Every Jew must read these books. They may not read the Bible, but they must read those. Many things come from there. For us, even if we do not go that far, there are books that are necessary for remnants to read. But realistically, there is no time. So if three people gather and divide up one book each and do a forum, they will have gone through three books. That develops the remnants’ presentation skills and helps in various ways. And from here, the Word must be found. That is when it becomes imprinted. “Ah, the world is like this, but the Word says this.” The answer must come.

2)Figures – Christ (RT)
The Jews speak about at least one great person every day. They must study figures. But as we do this, we must find the words “Christ” and “remnant.” Strictly speaking, you are the remnants. The remaining ones. So remnants are not only children. The remaining ones who have the gospel—remnants.

3)The Three Feasts – 1·3·8
And the Jews kept the three feasts very well. They kept them so well that during the feasts, the family always did them together. For example, when making the Feast of Booths, the family builds the booth together. But in doing this, their weakness was that they lost the meaning. We also lose important things when we work a lot. So we must help them find the meaning. That is 1·3·8—Christ, God’s kingdom, only the Holy Spirit. These are the three feasts. Because Christ completed them, you must give this answer clearly. Remnants only need to understand once for it to last a lifetime.

4)Worship – Prayer
Why did the Jews stake their lives on keeping the Sabbath like that? Worship and prayer. Our remnants, and also you yourselves, must know what worship is and what prayer is.

5) Only – Talent
From this point, three things come out. From here, the “only” that you possess appears. You must have this (only) to help others. The outward form may differ, but the content is the same. This is discovering your talent. You must discover “only” to have a talent; just having what everyone else has is not a talent.

6) Uniqueness – Expertise
From here, uniqueness comes. This is expertise.

7) Re-Creation – Field-ness
Then you survive anywhere you go. Re-creation. This is called field-ness.

In one sense, this (only – talent) is called the coming-of-age ceremony. This (uniqueness – commissioning) is called the mission ceremony. And because they have seen the field, this (re-creation – field-ness) is called the sending-out ceremony. You must do these three things. You yourselves must do this. It is not that you do not need it but remnants do. Because remnants absolutely need it, you also must receive this blessing. Even if you sell bean sprouts in the market, you must have this answer. Isn’t that so? But most people do not do this. Even if you sell bean sprouts, you must do it with “only.” Then customers know. “Ah, that place is different.” They know. Even if you run a restaurant, customers know. The one who eats the food says, “Ah, this place is different.” If that becomes established, it works.

  1. Spiritual Summit
Now, when this happens, the Jews became summits without the gospel, and they suffered like that. You must make this (spiritual summit) first. Before succeeding as a summit, you must first succeed spiritually. So what is in the front part of the curriculum is an edited form of my messages. The characteristic of my messages is that the answers continue to develop. For example, before entering Yeongdo, when I was doing evangelism, I found the five states of the unbeliever. So the books left it exactly as recorded. But after entering Yeongdo and doing evangelism in earnest, I discovered the six states.

1)The Seven Bartizans
So now we can teach it like this: the bartizan Jesus gave—the seven bartizans.

2)The Seven Journeys
With this, you go on the journey.

3)The Three Guideposts
And the guideposts in Acts chapter 13, chapter 16, and chapter 19 are always there. They are exactly God’s Word. You must know this to become a summit.

So what is written on the board today is what you must absolutely teach your children. Schools cannot teach this, so the church must. It is not that schools lack ability or are bad; they simply cannot teach this. If the church does not teach this, our remnants can never learn it. That is how important this is.

  1. Discovery
And now, you begin discovering what is important.

1)Me
You discover something completely different from before. What is it? You discover the “me” that God created. Before, you simply tried to find yourself. That is the same as unbelievers. When you simply try to find yourself, nothing is more wrong. Why do people commit suicide? Because they have found themselves. They found themselves and realized there is no hope. So they commit suicide. But when you find the “me” God created, the opposite happens. That is why the word “remnant” is an interesting word. In English, it has two meanings: the remaining one, and the discarded one. It is used both ways. Isn’t that interesting? You may look like someone who is thrown away, but you are the remaining one. So the discovery becomes completely different.

2)My Things

3)My Field
And before, you said, “This is mine,” but now you see “my things” that God has given and “my field” that God has given.

This (entire message) is the curriculum you must do this week, but you must hold it for your entire life. If you pray even a little and use your head even a little, you can apply this endlessly. And because remnants receive answers, they carry evidence and can do things even more greatly.

Conclusion

So what conclusion comes out?

  1. Multiethnic (Room)
What you must especially not lose hold of is multiethnic ministry. Doing multiethnic ministry in a vague way, no matter how much you do, is useless. When you build the sanctuary later, there must be a place where a multiethnic person can leave their bag, and leave their shoes. That must be “their house.” It is completely different from carrying your luggage around and sleeping in a hotel versus sleeping at home. And right now, this (multiethnic) part is not happening. For example, if you go to the United States, churches say they are doing world evangelization, but when you look at Korean churches in America, there are no Americans. No multiethnic people at all. If they were doing things normally, then 90 percent of the elders would be multiethnic. Isn’t that correct? Numerically it is so. If it were not America but Korea, that would be fine—but it is America. Why is that? Multiethnic people have no place where they can come and enjoy. In English, that is “room.” Room means a room, but it also means “space” or “margin.” It means the space where I stay. And that (room) does not exist. You must remember this. This is not simply about having a building. When foreigners go to a gathering, there are American husbands married to Korean women. They follow their wives to church. But the way they sit and act looks so awkward. Because they are just following their wives. How long will they endure that? But if among the elders or session members, there is an American, then they join quickly. And among the pastors as well, there must be such people.

Open your eyes a little in Ulsan, and if you build a system to save Ulsan, it will come alive.

TCK
Among the multiethnic, especially TCK. You must pay attention here. This is also the answer. As you know, TCK means a child in a third-culture environment. For example, what does that mean? Joseph and all seven remnants were like that. They were Hebrews, but where were they living? In Egypt. That is what it means. So in some ways, it does not match Egypt and is difficult. That is the key. You must remember this.

  1. Healing (Enjoyment)
Next, people must come comfortably and receive healing. You must be able to receive this strength. Open the three-day weekend age, and the healing part is something anyone can really do. If healing were one word, then for multiethnic ministry, the word “room” is very important. For healing, you must allow the person to come and enjoy on their own. Does someone get healed instantly because someone comes to them? Of course not. When someone with cancer comes, I give them an answer. Someone had cancer and did certain things, but then treatment must follow. It was too difficult, so they did not want to do it. But the family wanted them to do it because they were worried. So the family came to me and asked. “Let’s do as the pastor says,” they said. So I gave them one month. “Pray like this, breathe like this. Then go to the hospital and get checked. If it has improved, then maybe you don’t need to do the treatment. But if it has not improved, then you must accept what the doctors say.” And that person understood. So they began praying. They began healing themselves. Tremendous effects followed. That is what it means. When the sick come, they must gain strength, receive the Word, and gain the strength of prayer. That is the key.
  2. RT (Summit)
And now, as I said before—it is repetitive but true—the remnants must be able to find themselves, but the most important thing is that remnants must be made into summits. People all over the nation and world are listening to this message. This (entire message) part is extremely important. Prepare in Ulsan. Then, when God sees it, it will become the greatest church. Isn’t that so? It must be the greatest in God’s sight. If it is great in human sight, it can collapse at any time. Isn’t that true? The invisible Creator God, the God who rules all things and life—when He sees Immanuel Ulsan Church as the greatest church, that is what matters.

Today was important, so the time went a bit long. Hold onto this covenant and continue deep prayer. I will pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. We thank You for establishing this church to save the region. Now, may we save this region with God’s method that surpasses human methods and human abilities. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

The Courtyard of Prayer That Is Not Deceived

Prayer Journal: November 19, 2025
15. Feb. 2025 Remnant & TCK Study of Evangelism
Scripture Reading: Matthew 6:33

Remnants, especially our TCKs, must build the courtyard of prayer that does not get deceived. You must not be deceived.

▣ Introduction. Acts 1:3
[ bartizan of the throne ] Usually Jesus explained the bartizan of the throne for forty days. Right? It says He explained the things concerning the kingdom of God for forty days. How important must it have been that He explained it for forty days.
[ journey of the throne ] And if you look closely, He spoke about the journey.
[ guidepost of the throne ] In various places He spoke of the guideposts of the throne that save your church, your studies, and your work. He spoke of the guideposts in sequence: Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. And there He said, “Receive the filling of the Holy Spirit and go.” That is the important journey. And it is raising the bartizan.

▣ Main Message
But why does it not work for most people?

1. Me
You are deceived by yourself. “I have not done well up to now.” You think this way. Most people become deceived by themselves. Misunderstanding is one thing, but not knowing the blessing God has given you is deception.

1) Genesis 3:4-5 So when you leave this alone and fall into many worries, this is what happens. You get caught in the bartizan of Satan. When Eve thought she was too bored and lost hold of the blessing, Satan came right then. This is the event in Eden. When you keep worrying like this, not knowing God’s blessing and being deceived, he strikes you.

2) Genesis 6:4-5 He does not just strike you; he turns you into Nephilim.

3) Genesis 11:1-8 And he makes you collapse completely, fall into destruction. That is what happens when you are deceived by yourself. Do not be deceived. Do not listen to other people; listen to God’s Word. Your background is the throne. If you are praying, the bartizan is built. If you are praying, the field is saved. If you are praying, world missions takes place. How should you pray? I spoke about that in the conclusion earlier. I will speak of something even more important during the core message. You must personally receive healing and heal others. But for our Remnants, the most important thing is: just do not be deceived.

2. Reality (the world)
In what else? You are deceived by reality. You are deceived by the world. The thing people are most deceived by is what? We have records of the seven Remnants and many examples. What is the greatest deception?

[ WITH ] Summed up, when you go into the field, you lose hold of the blessing that God is with you.
[ Immanuel ] And through people, you lose hold of the blessing of Immanuel. Because of people.
[ Oneness ] And because of events, you lose hold of everything. Oneness is where everything comes together and answers arise.

So if you get deceived, you lose everything. Because of reality. So Remnants, do not even blink. Is there a problem with your parents? It’s okay. It is not your responsibility; it is your platform. “My environment is too bad.” That is a misconception. If that were true, the seven Remnants should all have committed suicide. Right? “The world is too hard.” Yes, that’s true, but that is also a misconception. If that were true, all the heroes of faith in Hebrews chapter 11 should have committed suicide. Then the Bible becomes a book of lies.

3. Satan
In the end, Satan deceives. Remnants, these are the blessings you are supposed to receive, but he works so you cannot receive the bartizan of the throne, the journey of the throne, and the guidepost of the throne.

1) John 8:44 This Satan drags people around unseen.
2) 2 Corinthians 11:14 And at times he appears to give something very good. He appears as an angel of light.
3) John 16:11-14 At times he grasps and controls unseen. He is the ruler of this world.  2 Corinthians 4:4-5 Completely unseen, he drags you into darkness.

So Remnants, do not be deceived by the problems happening to you right now.

There was a time when I healed a youth with a mental disorder. What did I do? I had several hours of deep counseling. Simply put, the issue was something that happened in their home. When I listened, it was serious. So I said to the Remnant, “Why is that your problem? If that were the case, shouldn’t everyone who has problems in their home be destroyed? But there are many who succeeded.” I gave evidence. “There are people who had terrible homes but became figures of world evangelization. So is it really a problem?” When I said this, it seemed like he began to understand.

So I told the story of Joseph. “Joseph was sold as a slave. He went through enormous problems. But is that truly a problem? Isn’t it not?” And I spoke about all seven Remnants. It took several hours, because wrong thoughts had to be pulled out. I wrote down all the Bible passages he must memorize, look up, and confirm. By God’s grace, he was healed. From what I know, he became an evangelist. When you hear his story, honestly, anyone would go insane. He had enough wounds and reasons to crumble. But I told him: “This is not your problem. It is not your responsibility. It is your calling, not your fault. It is not your problem. It is your parents’ issue. There are countless people with troubled parents.” He seemed to understand, so I spent three hours. Then, with the Scripture I gave him, God’s work arose.

That is how important healing ministry is. Especially Remnants, you must not be deceived.

Even more importantly, the Remnants who went to Babylon said, ‘Even if we die, it is okay.’ So do not merely overcome Satan; make Satan kneel. On the road the Remnant walks, make Satan kneel. They should be discouraged, but they are not. They should fight inside the church, but they help. They should punish wrong people, but instead they make them realize and save them. Understand what I mean: make Satan kneel. Right? So if your parents are strange, save your parents. Do not try to receive comfort from your parents; receive God’s comfort and save your parents. That is a Remnant.

May today be the opportunity for you to firmly hold the important covenant and begin. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Let today become an important beginning. Let today become an important choice. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Angels and Prayer

Daniel 10:12-14. Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. 14 Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”

When we set our minds to seek wisdom and strength from above, humble ourselves before our Father, and pray, He hears our words and sends His angels in response. No matter how persistent the devil’s interference may be, God’s angels will carry His message, reveal His plans, and show us His vision for the future.

This is one of the most powerful promises given to God’s children, yet tragically one of the most neglected blessings. Scripture is clear: God created angels to serve His people—“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14).

He has given us the right to ask Him to mobilize these ministering spirits. Angels are God’s servants who carry out His plans and obey His Word—“Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word… you his servants who do his will” (Psalm 103:20–21).

Throughout Scripture, God fulfilled His Word through angelic ministry. Angels visited Abraham with the promise of a son (Genesis 18:1–15), rescued Lot and his family from destruction (Genesis 19:1–29), and strengthened Joshua before Jericho (Joshua 5:13–15). When Elijah faced his greatest crisis, God sustained him through an angel (1 Kings 19:1–9).

When Elisha was surrounded by the Arameans, God answered his prayer by revealing the hills filled with horses and chariots of fire (2 Kings 6:17). In Hezekiah’s day, God sent an angel who struck down 185,000 Assyrian soldiers (2 Kings 19:35). In the furnace, God sent an angelic deliverer to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3:25), and in the lions’ den, He sent an angel to shut the lions’ mouths (Daniel 6:22).

As God prepared for the coming of His Son, He sent Gabriel to Zechariah with the announcement of John the Baptist (Luke 1:11–20). After Jesus overcame Satan’s temptation, angels came and ministered to Him (Matthew 4:11). And in the early church, angelic activity increased dramatically as the gospel spread (Acts 5:19; 8:26; 10:3; 12:7, 23; 27:23).

God has not changed. He still sends His angels to those He has chosen. When you pray, God sends His angels to carry your prayer before His throne—“The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand” (Revelation 8:3–4). So believe, and expect the work of the angels whom God sends to you as a citizen of His kingdom here on earth.

You are so precious to Him that He surrounds you with the protection of His heavenly armies. “Don’t be afraid. Those who are with you are more than those who are with them” (2 Kings 6:16). Stand firm on this promise in your mission field. God will send an angel ahead of you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place He has prepared.

Prayer. Father, I thank You for sending Your angel armies whenever I pray. May the work of Your kingdom be done through Your angels in my life today. Mobilize them wherever I go so I may boldly proclaim the gospel. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The True Happiness (5 Prayers) and the Answer of 25

2023.10.15 District Message
Scripture Reading: Philippians 4:6-7

Philippians 4:6–7
In Philippians chapter 4, verses 6 and 7, it does not simply say, “Do not worry,” but, “Do not be anxious about anything.” Even though there are things to worry about, He says, “Do not be anxious about anything.” “But in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” It does not say to just pray; it says that even though you have worries, present them with thanksgiving. Then what kind of answer comes? “The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

This is true happiness. “The peace of God will guard your hearts and your minds.” The part we must pay a bit of attention to here is that we tend to use “receiving answers” as our standard. Of course, because God’s main work is to give answers, it is not wrong that we feel that way. But if you think about the situation at that time and look at the Philippian church, this is not a light statement. This is a letter Paul sent to the Philippian church from prison. It was an incredible timetable. Being in prison was not the problem; for Paul, this was the greatest timetable of world evangelization. That is what is important. “Do not be anxious about anything.” And then, “The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds.” The 25 answers begin to take place, don’t they?

▣ Introduction – The happiness of prayer that enjoys the gospel
Here, the most important part for you is prayer that enjoys the gospel. It is not just prayer in general. You must be happy with prayer that enjoys the gospel. What makes a person happy actually determines that person. People of other religions all pray. So not that kind of prayer, but prayer that enjoys the gospel. There are even strange people who pray in order to enjoy their own peculiar personality. That is not necessarily evil, but we must pray to enjoy the gospel. When this takes place, something truly amazing begins to happen. What do we mean? After Jesus resolved every problem on Mt Calvary, He gathered the disciples on Mt Olive and gave them an important word. He gave them an amazing mission by which they could carry out world evangelization.

[7 bartizans]
From there, I discovered the 7 bartizans. They are always inside my prayer. In them, the content of the Triune God is all contained. Because there, for 40 days, He explained about the things concerning the kingdom of God, the blessing of the throne is all there. Right? There, the past, present, and future are all included. It is tremendous. There, what true power is, is revealed. There is also not just anything, but the mystery that breaks the authority of darkness. Inside that, an amazing future is contained, isn’t it?

[7 journeys]
And within that, because it is a bartizan, the journeys come out. How important this part is. You must be so happy to enjoy these 7 bartizans and 7 journeys. If this does not exist, there is no need to even ask: your walk of faith will be difficult, pastoral ministry will be difficult, everything will be difficult.

[13, 16, 19]
There was someone who properly understood these words, and that person was Paul. You must never lose hold of this. In Acts 13, he set out as the first missionary. Right? In chapter 13, verses 1–4, we see the timetable when he perfectly received the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This is important. Of course, we can hold tracts in our hands and evangelize on the street. That in itself is not the standard. We can evangelize as we walk along the road. That is not the standard. It is something we can do. But Paul’s team perfectly received the guidance of the Holy Spirit. That is the first guidepost. In chapter 16, they went to Macedonia. They thought the doors were closed, but it was “to Macedonia.” In chapter 19, it was “to Rome.” Clear guideposts appeared.

So you must always remember these 7 bartizans, 7 journeys, and 3 guideposts. Because they are the words Jesus Himself gave. In the first service as well, we will look at today’s passage on the premise of these 7 bartizans, 7 journeys, and 3 guideposts. If you do not take the gospel as the premise or do not take Christ as the premise, then it is no different from other religions. These 7 bartizans, 7 journeys, and 3 guideposts must become the blessing of your personal prayer enjoyment. In a sense, this should become your family motto. In another sense, it should become the mission statement of your company. The people of the early church who conquered the world did so.

[40 days]
I have explained these 7 bartizans, 7 journeys, and 3 guideposts as I enjoy them in prayer, but in reality, these are the very things Jesus Himself spoke for 40 days. While the earlier Scriptures are also important, these are the messages Jesus gave last, after everything had been fulfilled. This is the prayer by which you must be happy; if you gain strength through this prayer, everything else follows.

▣ Main
Then, when you enjoy this kind of prayer, about five things will appear today. What will appear?

1. Thanksgiving
From that point on, thanksgiving begins to come. It has no choice but to come—because you know. You cannot truly give thanks when you do not know. That is why Paul said, “Present your requests with thanksgiving.” You have worries, but present them with thanksgiving—this is on another level. When Daniel knelt and prayed three times a day, he did not just pray; the Bible says he prayed giving thanks.

1) Scars
At this time, your scars are healed. Almost everyone carries scars, don’t they? When genuine thanksgiving comes out, those scars are healed.

2) Healing
Then many healings take place. Thanksgiving is when the greatest healing happens—when you give thanks from your heart. One characteristic of those who begin to have mental problems is that they do not have thanksgiving. They have no thanksgiving. And they constantly fall into disbelief about everything. It becomes like that. “Everyone else is wrong; only I am right.” That is when it becomes a serious problem. “Everyone else is wrong. Everything is wrong.” It becomes this way. When true healing takes place, all that aside, thanksgiving comes.

3) Darkness broken
At that time, not only does health come, but the forces of darkness are completely broken. Satan completely knelt down in front of Job.

2. The Word
And when you truly enjoy this prayer of the introduction, from that point on something begins to come alive. It was always alive, but it had nothing to do with you; now, the second point, the Word, begins to become connected to you. The Word comes alive.

1) The world
Before, all our imprinting was by the things of this world. So God’s Word and I did not match at all. Not one part matched. We did not even know what the Word meant. It did not become believable. In the past, before I understood the gospel and before I knew prayer, the book of Acts was the hardest book for me to read. What is all this talk about houses and roads? But once I understood evangelism movement and the Word, it became a complete answer. So I simply evangelized according to what appears in the book of Acts. Then, the evangelists who understood those words could not help but rise all over the world. I did not do it; God could not help but raise them.

2) Pulpit
This Word is something you must definitely receive from the pulpit. All believers have a pulpit, don’t they? For the believers, listening to the pastor’s sermon is not just listening to the pastor; it is listening to the Word of God. For the pastors who prepare sermons, they themselves must not merely think, “I prepared a sermon,” but they must listen for the Word of God.

3) Flow
Then, because this Word is living and active, the flow definitely becomes visible.

3. Concentration
When this happens, it does not simply end there. A concentration toward God arises. This is prayer. Because you know and enjoy the blessings of the introduction, thanksgiving comes; the Word comes alive and works; and then concentration toward God begins to arise. The power of this is tremendous. You must remember this.

1) Division, obsession, addiction
If you do not understand the word “concentration” correctly, its opposite is division. Your thoughts, heart, and mind are divided. Or a wrong kind of concentration becomes obsession. The word “concentration” is very important. If not, it becomes division, or obsession, or addiction. In fact, among our future generations, there will be many patients with these three problems—division, obsession, and addiction. Concentration is a very important word.

2) Summit
Because concentration toward God revives our soul and revives our brain, it inevitably leads us into the blessing of the spiritual summit. You must remember this. Our future generations must become spiritual summits before they become summits in the world. If they do not know spiritual summit and do not know what prayer is, then from the moment they pass the bar exam, they begin to wander. It becomes difficult. They must first become spiritual summits. From the moment they become doctors, they begin to suffer countless hardships. They must first become spiritual summits. From the moment they become public servants, it becomes difficult from that point on. Where do they concentrate? This prayer holds a tremendous mystery.

3) Platform, watchman bartizan, antenna
At this time, God’s important work of art begins to appear. Simply put, you become a platform. Right? You must become a spiritual platform so that people can come. The church must do evangelism diligently, but the greatest evangelism is this: if you become a platform, people will come. Right? Likewise, if your business, your shop, becomes a platform, even without much advertising, people come. In Japan, I saw a restaurant that had been operating for 500 years. It was astonishing. The owner was wearing a name tag: “16th Owner, So-and-So.” It was amazing. It was just a restaurant, but people had no choice but to come. I am most worried about this: I don’t know if it’s still like this, but in Songdo, when you drive by, they wave at you so vigorously that you almost bump into them with your car, trying to get you to come in. Do we really have to do that? Korea is almost all like that, because they are so diligent. If you become a platform, a watchman bartizan that can save many people is set up there. If you have the power of concentration toward God, you become a spiritual antenna.

4. Healing

1) Myself
2) The church
3) The world

From this point on, the healing of your heart and of yourself takes place, and then healing in the church and in the world takes place. So everything is included. Within the true happiness of prayer that enjoys the gospel, tremendous content is contained.

5. Future
Even if you simply remain still, the future becomes visible within this prayer. This blessing will surely be upon you.

1) Communication
Before, the Word of God did not match with me at all, but now the Word of God begins to communicate with me. I begin to be led by the Word. Before, I lived entirely centered on myself. Before, I only knew myself and my things.

2) Myself, my things, my field
But one day, it changes to “me, whom God created.” It changes like this. Then it changes to “the things God has given me,” and “the field to which God has sent me.” It changes like this.

3) Position of the summit
So while you are just staying where you are, you will find yourself seated in the position of the summit. When Joseph stood in the position of the summit, even the king had to follow. This is the important future.

Do not think that I am just talking about something. Right? You must actually become people who receive these answers before God. Isn’t that true? You must check how you are praying right now. You must check whether prayer is truly a source of happiness and strength for you. If you simply ask, God is bound to give you answers. You must do this. Most of the time, even when we just listen to people talk, we can tell. We can sense, “Ah, this person prays a lot,” right? When we talk with someone, we can sense, “Ah, this person absolutely does not pray.” Of course, not everything is done by feeling, but people decide many things based on feeling. Aren’t you like that too? Even if a person is very great, if you sense, “Ah, this person absolutely does not pray,” you cannot really believe what that person says. If you sense, “Ah, this person truly prays,” then it is different. Those who truly do not know prayer continually receive a different kind of guidance. How heartbreaking that is. You must absolutely restore the blessing Christ has given you.

No obsession over position
If you truly restore and enjoy this, you do not even need to worry about your position.

No issue of pride
And if you truly enjoy this blessing, even if someone looks down on you, it has nothing to do with your pride. The very fact that you feel, “I must defend my pride,” shows that you are weak right now. Right? If you say to a homeless person, “You bum,” he gets very offended. Why? Because he knows he is a beggar. Right? He gets angry: “Yes, I’m a beggar—are you going to feed me, then?” and snaps back. But if you say, “You beggar,” to a chaebol (wealthy magnate), he will just laugh. Because he is not a beggar. Already, the fact that you are so sensitive about your pride shows that you have lost hold of something. You become bound here, in your pride. Someone like Joseph was the same either way. He was the same when he was the prime minister and the same when he went as a slave. What was the same? His enjoyment of God’s blessing was the same. This is very important.

As you worship today, this must truly be a day of receiving grace. Start again. If you say, “I am having such a hard time right now,” that is a simple sign. It means, “Start again accurately.” What will He give first? This strength of the introduction. This is not my word; it is what Christ Himself explained for 40 days. Would Christ, who resolved every problem on the cross, have spoken nonsense and then left? Even when people speak, if they speak earnestly, we listen carefully. Right? Even if a person is somewhat lacking, if they keep speaking earnestly, we end up listening. The King of kings, Christ, explained this intensively for 40 days. For us to ignore this so much is wrong. Right? Answers themselves are not the problem. With this blessing, you must carry your work, your personal life, and world evangelization.

▣ Conclusion – Revelation 8:3–5
In Revelation 8:3–5, all your prayers are said to rise up before God. They do not just rise up; the Bible says they are all contained in a bowl. John saw this in a vision and realized, “Ah, so that is how it is.” And he was shown how the angels of the Lord carry out all of God’s errands. Even today, if there is a greatest answer for you, it is that you are praying. Right? If you are to enjoy the greatest plan of this Lord’s Day, it is that you restore proper prayer before God. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today will be such a day of God.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Today, let us restore the covenant that Christ has given us. Let us begin with that covenant. Let us build a firm bartizan of God. Let us go on our journey by the power of God. Let the guideposts of God be fulfilled in our lives. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Distortion and Change

Prayer Journal: November 18, 2025
09. Feb. 2025 Immanuel Church Sunday Worship 2nd Service
Scripture Reading: Exodus 1:10-22

A long time ago, I went to the marketplace to evangelize. I went often because one of our deaconesses was there. She sold things like socks and towels. Right next to her, there was another shop that I passed by often, and I noticed that this person didn’t really “do” retail sales. He had employees and everything, but he wasn’t running the shop the same way. One day I realized why. Early in the morning, at a set appointment time, the goods needed in Seoul would come down, and all the neighborhood middle wholesalers who needed to buy clothes for their areas would gather there. They would buy everything and take it away. So this man would make several million won in the morning, close the store, and—this was long ago—go play golf. Our deaconess, on the other hand, how much did she earn on a single pair of socks? She made 100 won. There was no way to keep up with that. Once, I went to Japan for a conference and stayed there for several days. There was a store in front of where I was staying. I watched it for three days, and not a single customer went inside. The lights were on and someone was inside, but not one customer went in. I was so curious that I asked the missionary, “Nobody ever goes in or out of that store. Can they really do business like that?” The missionary told me that this was a store that had been in business for several generations. The customers order everything before the goods even arrive, and then the store just sends everything out immediately. The only staff there are people who do the delivery errands. Why am I telling you this? The gospel is 300%. Why is that? The gospel is 300% because it solves the past, the present, and the future all together. Mt Calvary, Mt Olive, and Mark’s upper room are 300%. The 7·7·7 are 300%. Right? And once this is established, your heavenly mandate, calling, and mission all come out. That is 300%. How should we do it? It must be done in what is rightful, inevitable, and absolute. With what content? Only, uniqueness, and re-creation. When do we do it? 24, 25, and eternity. That is what 300% means. Put simply, it is a very simple message. That is why, especially for our remnants, if you prepare even a little—if you have specialization, field-centeredness, and a bit of a system for the future—you become 300%. Our 3 concentrations, 3 settings, and 3 answers are that 300%. If I just prepare a little, it becomes that way. It is not difficult at all, so whatever you do should be done like that. You can start easily and finish easily. Simply ask, “What is the one thing I really must do?” and find that. Then ask, “What is absolutely needed in the field?” and find that. Then ask, “What is something I must surely do for the future?” and find that. If you continue to pray, your health will come, margin will come, and strength will come.

If this does not take place, you end up degenerating. Once something degenerates, it can no longer be used. But if you understand this, then change begins to happen. So even when it comes to temple construction, if you look at the cases of truly successful nations, the whole people carried it out over a long period of time—over a long, long time. There are even temples that took 400 years to build. That is an incredible scale. It means that the person who planned that temple really used their head well. They arranged it so that the congregation could give comfortably throughout their entire lifetime, and above that, they controlled the finances. That is why the entire people just threw themselves into it together. In some ways, that is even more important. So the phrase “300%” contains almost everything within it.

Received blessing
You need to know what blessings you have already received. When you know the blessings you have received, you also come to know the blessings you are going to receive. The blessings you have received are tremendous.

Genesis 3:15, 6:14, 12:1–3
Genesis 3:15—this is what I talked about in the first service. Genesis 6:14—building the ark. Genesis 12:1–3—these have all already been given. “Go to the land I will show you.” In other words, follow the covenant. “I will make you a source of blessing.” “Through you,” it says. “Through your offspring.” And then, fifth, what does He say? “No one will be able to stand against you.” Why? Because through you, all peoples must receive blessing. Because the gospel must be testified.

Introduction – Degeneration
Because they did not know this, they ended up degenerating. Who, especially, degenerated?

1. Egypt
Egypt as a nation degenerated. It was because of Joseph that the nation was saved. Because of Joseph, the forefathers and the future generations were all saved. They should have been thankful, but instead they degenerated. “Ah, Israel keeps growing. They keep increasing, so we have to get rid of them.” So in the end, they forced them into labor and did all kinds of things, and when that didn’t work, they said, “Kill all the baby boys when they are born.” That’s what they did. Next week we will see that the person who appeared in that time was Moses. Because they did not know the blessing, they could not help but degenerate like this. And then look again.

2. Israel
The Israelites themselves degenerated. While they were in Egypt, they should have truly enjoyed the great gospel and seen many changes, but one day they looked up and they had become slaves.

3. Satan
In the end, what is it? They ended up in the hands of Satan.

The land of Israel is a small strip of land. On one side is the Mediterranean Sea, and the Jordan River runs down the other side. That is the land of Israel, and it is divided. The northern kingdom is Israel, the southern kingdom is Judah. The capital of Judah is Jerusalem; the capital of Israel is Samaria. Who is above them? Assyria. There is also the Aramean kingdom. On this side to the right is Arabia. On the left side is Philistia. Further down is Egypt. This whole region is a battlefield. So if you want to attack here (Israel), you pass through there (Judah), and if you want to attack there (Judah), you pass through here (Israel). In this way, Israel is constantly under attack. When Israel receives answers, all of these places become doors. When Israel does not receive grace and has no strength, all of them become enemies. God placed Israel there and gave them the gospel. If Israel gains strength, the whole region becomes a road. It is the same right now. When you and our remnants receive answers and grace, everything becomes a road; but if I do not receive it, then everything becomes an enemy that torments me.

Main – Blessings to receive
So what does God want to do through Israel? He wants to give them blessings to receive. This is what must now bring change. It is a 300% change.

1. Exodus
First, as we read a bit today, God’s goal in this suffering is the Exodus.

2. Blessing of the wilderness
Second is the blessing to be received in the wilderness. This is simple.

3. Conquest of Canaan and the tabernacle
Third is the conquest of Canaan and the tabernacle. This is very important.

1. Exodus

1) Passover (salvation)
For this, what God prepared was the Passover—the day they escaped by putting the blood of the lamb on their doors. That is salvation.

2) Pentecost (power)
Then, along the way in the wilderness, the power of God was revealed. This is Pentecost. It is the Holy Spirit.

3) Feast of Ingathering (background)
When they came out of Egypt and walked the wilderness road, there was a great background—the Feast of Ingathering. This is the background of the throne. They walked with this strength.

2. Blessing of the wilderness – Ark of the Covenant
Along the wilderness road, there was something God absolutely gave them: follow the ark of the covenant. What does it mean to follow the ark of the covenant?

1) Stone tablets
Inside it were two stone tablets that never change. We call them the Ten Commandments. Those tablets were inside the ark of the covenant. The fact that they were engraved on stone means they will never disappear.

2) Protection (manna)
There was also a jar holding the manna by which God protected the Israelites. As they went along, God miraculously sent manna so that they would not starve to death, and the jar that held that manna was inside the ark.

3) Guidance
And there was one more thing inside. Aaron’s staff, which sprouted when it was stuck into the ground, was there. This means that God would guide the people of Israel through worship and through the Word. Aaron was not great in himself; Aaron was the priest who led the worship, so God caused his staff to sprout as a sign. As evidence, He showed it this way. So wherever the ark of the covenant moved, works arose. In our terms, this means that along the wilderness road God would lead them to complete victory by His Word and by His covenant. There are many other things, but the three feasts and the ark of the covenant are very important.

3. Conquest of Canaan – Tabernacle-centered
And then what is important is this: move everything centered on the tabernacle.

1) Tent of meeting
Everything they did was centered on gathering at this place, which is called the “tent of meeting.”

2) Tents
Each person’s own tent was pitched so that the entrance faced the temple, faced the tabernacle.

3) Holy articles
Especially, inside there were holy articles, all of which symbolized Christ—the lampstand, the bread, the water for washing hands, and all of it. The oil and everything else.

4) Ephod
And importantly, the priest was there 24 hours a day. So the servants of the Lord are 24. These priests wore an ephod. On that ephod were written the names of the twelve tribes that would save all the people. You understand what that means, right? All the servants of the Lord are to pray night and day, 24 hours, for the people of God.

5) Three courtyards
Even more important, that small tabernacle had three courtyards. This is important. So they moved everything in a tabernacle-centered way.

(True temple)
This is the reason we must build the true temple. Why must we build the true temple? Don’t worry—just pray. It must be a temple that properly keeps Passover, Pentecost, and the Feast of Ingathering. In the Most Holy Place is the ark of the covenant. In the Holy Place are all these holy articles, and the priest kept the lamp burning and prayed 24 hours a day. More importantly, at that time God revealed the three courtyards. That is everything. You begin receiving answers with this as your focus. So in one sense, this suffering is not just suffering; it is suffering that tells you about an amazing future.

Conclusion
So, holding onto this covenant, you begin to pray from now on. What does it really mean that we have received salvation?

1. Liberation
First, it means that you have been liberated from the twelve curses that could never be resolved. That is salvation.

2. Enjoyment
Second, salvation is enjoying the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne. Right? Never forget this. Then all the blessings in the main content are contained within this.

3. Lordship
Third, and this is very important, our master has been changed. Your master is God. Right? So a person who truly receives answers to prayer has no need to worry. If you truly did not receive, then of course you should worry. Right? But if it is sure that answers are coming, there is no time to be anxious. If there are no answers, then of course you must seek and struggle. But if God is truly your master and is continually giving you answers, then your own insistence is unnecessary. Why? Because your level is not the same as God’s level; God’s level is far higher. The result is completely different. So, for today’s conclusion, this morning I finished next week’s small-group study, and now I am going to do this week’s.

Prayer. God, we thank You. We thank You that in today’s temple construction dedication service we could confirm Your Word. Let the 300% answers arise that allow us to see both the grace we have already received and the blessings we are going to receive. Let us hold onto today, as a covenant, the answers that we will receive throughout our lifetime. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Believe That You Have Received It

Mark 11:20-24.  In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”

22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

In Today’s Word, Jesus teaches us what prayer truly is. Prayer is not human effort reaching upward; it is the promise of God reaching into our lives. It is the covenant privilege made possible by the finished work of Christ. Because of this, prayer is the greatest blessing next to salvation itself, and nothing is impossible for the one who prays in faith.

Your prayer is powerful and effective simply because you are in Christ. God, who hears your prayer, transcends time and space. His power has no limit. His wisdom cannot be measured. One second of God’s intervention is greater than one hundred years of human effort.

Nothing you do for others has more impact than prayer. Prayer is the most powerful way to carry God’s blessings into another person’s life. And because God sees the heart, prayer must begin by surrendering our motives and seeking His good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Jesus said that faith-filled prayer can move a mountain. You may feel weak, unqualified, or powerless, but when you pray in faith, the power of God manifests as the answer to your prayer. How is this possible? Because when we pray, the Holy Spirit comes upon us:

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 11:13)

When you receive the Word and pray according to it, the Holy Spirit moves to fulfill God’s plan in your life. This was the promise Jesus gave before He ascended: “Do not leave Jerusalem… you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 1:4–5)

The disciples believed this promise and devoted themselves to prayer (Acts 1:14). God fulfilled it: “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:1–4). Nothing can stop the Spirit’s work when God’s people pray.

When the persecuted church prayed, the Holy Spirit filled them with boldness (Acts 4:29–31). When Philip prayed and proclaim Christ, the Spirit brought revival to Samaria and “there was great joy in that city” (Acts 8:4–8). When Peter prayed, the Spirit came upon Cornelius’ household, opening the gospel to Rome (Acts 10:45).

In the same way, when you pray, the Spirit will work regardless of your ability or circumstance because “you have an anointing from the Holy One” (1 John 2:20). This is your greatest privilege. God’s power does not depend on your strength; His answers do not hinge on your qualifications. What matters is the Spirit who lives in you and works through you.

So find your rhythm of enjoying God throughout the day. In the morning—let the Triune God restore your soul and body (Psalm 5:3). At midday—connect everything to prayer (Psalm 23:1–6). In the evening—commune with Him and find all the answers in the Word (Psalm 17:3).

But what did Jesus mean by, “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it?”

The power of prayer rooted in the covenant is immeasurably great because it carries the very power of creation of God’s Word. From the moment you hold onto the covenant and pray, answers immediately begin, even if the visible fulfillment seems to come much later.

Moses, David, and even Paul experienced answers that unfolded over decades or even centuries, yet those answers were already in motion from the very beginning. The covenant of the gospel contains what was hidden before eternity and promises something that will remain forever. The bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne are fulfilled not suddenly at the end, but continuously from the moment you embrace the covenant.

Many people receive answers without even realizing it, noticing only much later. Their descendants often see the results and acknowledge God’s precise work. This unrecognized fulfillment is pure grace. But now, with understanding, holding onto the covenant becomes not only grace but mission.

From the moment you take hold of a lifelong covenant, God’s works begin, and they continue without ceasing. What matters most is recognizing that covenant answers start immediately—not someday—and that living with awareness turns grace into a mission-filled life.

This is how you enjoy 24-hour prayer, and when you do, you will begin to see God’s precise timing for every part of your life. Prayer opens the door to experiencing eternal blessings here on earth. Walk before the Lord today—moment by moment, breath by breath.

Prayer. Father, I thank You for the name of Jesus Christ—the name above every name. By the power of His name, I know I will overcome the world and lead many back to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The True Source (the 21 Essentials) and the Answer of 25

2023.10.08 District Message
Scripture Reading: Acts 1:1, 3, 8

There are 21 answers that we need the most.
Prayer → the true source – spiritual strength, intellectual strength, physical strength, the economy of light, disciples

When you receive this answer of the true source, the very first thing you gain is spiritual strength. This part is not something visible to the eye, but it is the most important. It is also hard to explain to others. Yet the most important strength is spiritual strength. It is hard to explain this strength. It is hard for me to explain it even for myself, so it is difficult to explain it to someone else. But if you have this spiritual strength, you can do many things. From that time on, God begins to give you much wisdom and knowledge from above. In the case of Joseph, he knew what no one in the world knew and he gave them the answer. If you truly pray, this kind of strength arises. From then on, you also gain physical strength that becomes a great strength both spiritually and physically. So if you only know this one thing called prayer, you receive these: spiritual strength, intellectual strength, physical strength, the economy of light. From then on, the economy of light begins to arise in you. The economy of light is different from ordinary economy; it is something God has prepared to give only to those who believe. From that time on, the disciples whom God has prepared in various places begin to arise. How can this happen?

▣ Introduction

Today we must understand a little of the method.

1. Mt Calvary (John 19:30)
Before we understand the method, there are three very important things. On Mt Calvary, Christ said on the cross, “It is finished.” He said that everything was finished. What did He finish? He finished many things, but we mainly speak of three.
Hell X, disasters X, Satan X
We could neither go to nor enjoy the kingdom of God, but He completely broke the authority of hell. On this earth, disasters keep arising; He ended them. Satan, unseen, kept driving people into destruction; He ended this. The One who finished these three we call “the Christ.”
Prophet, priest, king
He came as the true King who defeated Satan. He came as the true Priest who put an end to disasters. He came as the true Prophet who opened the way to meet God and announced the way of salvation.
Christ (anointing oil)
These three terms combined are called “the Christ.” The word “Christ” means “the Anointed One.” Oil was poured only on the king, the priest, and the prophet. So He fulfilled all three. Because all of this is contained in Him, it is “finished.”

2. Mt Olive
Then the second great mystery He gave was Mt Olive. Many things were spoken there, but He especially spoke of this:
Throne, kingdom – work
He spoke of the throne and the work of the kingdom of God. This becomes an amazing standard. When we ask, “What prayer topics should I hold? What kind of things are answers?” the things of the throne, the kingdom, and its work are what take place as answers.

3. Mark’s upper room
Holding this covenant, they gathered in Mark’s upper room. What was given there?
Strength
Many things were given, but He gave the strength of the fullness of the Holy Spirit. These three are extremely important.

▣ Main

Then how can I actually receive this answer?

1. Daily concentration
What must I concentrate on every day in order to receive this answer?
[ 1·3·8 ]
So, every day you concentrate on Christ, the kingdom of God, and only the Holy Spirit. When you do this, the answer of the true source—spiritual strength, intellectual strength, physical strength, the economy of light, disciples—arises. Even on the Lord’s Day, if you truly gain strength in deep prayer, these works take place.

2. Daily confirmation
Next, there is something you must confirm every day. What do you confirm daily through prayer?
[ Heavenly mandate · calling · mission ]
When they came down from Mt Olive and gathered, they constantly confirmed their heavenly mandate, calling, and mission. Do not go somewhere trying to “do something”; instead, discover this heavenly mandate, calling, and mission. Wherever you go, you must surely find what God is truly commanding you to do. Whether you find it or not, that prayer itself becomes the greatest prayer.

3. Daily enjoyment
As you do this, something you enjoy daily in prayer begins to come. What is it?
[ Rightfulness · inevitability · absoluteness ]
Rightfulness, inevitability, absoluteness. Even when something happens, do not be discouraged; what was bound to come has come. Rightfulness, inevitability, absoluteness. And if you live this way, no one will criticize you. It is what you naturally must do. Then you ask, “What is the one thing I absolutely must do? What is God’s absolute plan?” Even with just this, many answers will arise.

Before I came to this church—not my home church, but before coming here—I served in five churches in between as a staff pastor. The very first thing I did wherever I went was this: in almost every church, the membership roll was not properly organized. So whenever I arrived, I would naturally start by organizing the membership roll—because I was new. While doing that, there were always people who had been there before me. I would ask them, and there were pastors who had been there longer, so I would ask them, “Is this information correct?” If you ask about ten entries, quite a few of them are, “Ah, that needs to be corrected.” There are many. Just by doing that, I began to see who I needed to visit. “Ah, I need to call this person.” That starts to become clear. From then on, the doors of evangelism began to open. From that time, I began to see what was needed and also saw God’s absolute plan.

4. Daily witnessing
Then you become a witness who sees important things every day. What is it?
[ One heart · whole heart · continuation ]
You begin to hold onto one method only; there is nothing else. One heart, whole heart, continuation. Why? Because you have discovered something absolute. No other method is needed. One heart, whole heart, continuation. If you do this, answers are bound to come wherever you are.

5. Daily discovery
Then you begin to discover three things every day. What are they?
[ Only · uniqueness · re-creation ]
“Only” becomes visible. This is how answers come. Uniqueness and re-creation become visible. If you continue in this prayer alone, these follow.

6. Daily answers
Then what follows? Real answers come.
[ 24 · 25 · eternity (00) ]
You begin to see answers every day, and they become 24, 25, and eternity. The greatest answer to prayer is that you are able to pray 24 hours. Then in you, healing and everything else will take place. From then on, something very important begins to come out.

7. Daily thanksgiving
Your destiny begins to be changed.
[ Imprint · root · nature ]
Imprint. The reason some things are not working for me is because the wrong things have been imprinted. This begins to change. The reason my body is not well is because something unhealthy has entered into my body. Especially when what is imprinted in your brain begins to change, many works arise. What has been imprinted takes root, and what has taken root becomes your nature.
These are exactly the 21.

▣ Conclusion

What is even more important is the conclusion that comes from this.
[ 3, 6, 11 ]
Those who have not received salvation are under the temptation of Satan and remain in Genesis 3, 6, and 11. If you keep living like this (the main content), what happens?
[ 1, 3, 8 ]
This is why we continually hold to Christ, the kingdom of God, and only the Holy Spirit (the introduction). When the three-day weekend age opens, we will probably have to start from this main content first. Then in your studies, work, and occupation, works will surely arise. And your health is surely set to be restored.
(5 strengths)
All of these together are called the five strengths. These arise.

So even today, on the Lord’s Day, if you simply pray properly and hold to the Word properly during worship, you will see answers during the six days of the week. You must surely, while worshiping today, find the answers you can enjoy over the next six days. When you gain spiritual strength, things that people in the world do not know—tremendous power—begins to arise. That is why so many people find living in the world so difficult. They have no strength. It is too hard to earn money, too hard to work, too hard even to live. But when you gain this strength, all of that begins to change.

I bless you in the name of Jesus that through the prayer of even one of you today, many evidences will be relayed to others and that you will enjoy this blessing all day long. On the Lord’s Day, you must hold to the Word and, in your empty times, truly enter into much prayer. May the five strengths be restored. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Let today be the day when the five strengths are restored. Let us gain spiritual strength and enjoy today the strength that saves the world, which the world does not know. Let there be works of healing today, even for the diseases we do not know about, in the midst of worshiping all day. Let there be spiritual works today that transcend time and space during this worship. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Joseph’s Confession of Faith

Prayer Journal: November 17, 2025
09. Feb. 2025 Immanuel Church Sunday Worship 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Genesis 50:15-21

▣ Introduction

Thank you. Today, looking at Joseph’s confession of faith, we must receive grace.

1. In times of despair, when you have lost yourself – discover the accurate blessing God is giving you. In reality, Joseph became a slave in the midst of despair. There are times when a person falls into despair and says, “I do not even know who I am anymore.” Joseph was suddenly sold as a slave, so he had no hope and did not even know who he was.

1) If you just grit your teeth and endure, it becomes a sickness. At such a time, if you just force yourself to endure, it becomes a sickness.

2) If you leave it alone, you lose everything. When despair comes to us and we just say, “I don’t know,” and leave it as it is, we eventually lose everything.

3) If you struggle and thrash around, it becomes an even greater loss. On the other hand, if you struggle and thrash around, it becomes an even greater loss. There are times when we fall into exactly this kind of situation. In such a time, Joseph discovered the accurate blessing that God was giving.

4) Because it is hard to find the accurate blessing God is giving, people hold onto a wrong faith, have a wrong assurance, and seek wrong experiences. But this blessing is difficult to find. Most people end up holding onto a wrong kind of faith. When answers do not come, they think, “I guess God does not answer my prayers.” Many people also cling to a wrong assurance. And because you can have “experiences” anywhere, they try to live by those wrong experiences. This is important.

2. How to discover God’s blessing in times of despair – hold onto the accurate covenant given to your ancestors. When despair comes to us, how can we discover God’s blessing? That is the key. You must absolutely do this. When great despair comes to me, how do I discover God’s blessing there? This is very important. There is a covenant that God gave to the ancestors. We must find the Word, and there is a covenant He gave to the forefathers. There were four great incidents. What were they? He made them know the covenant through these incidents.

1) When they were seized by Satan in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3) – the offspring of the woman, Christ who will crush the serpent’s head, must become mine (Genesis 3:15). In the Garden of Eden, they were completely seized by Satan. At that time, God gave the covenant: “The offspring of the woman will crush the serpent’s head.” You must hold onto this covenant. Christ will crush the authority of Satan. This must become your own.

2) The incident of the flood of Noah (Genesis 6) – “If you enter the ark, you will live. Build an ark for yourself, for your descendants, and for life” (Genesis 6:14). Then a second incident arose: the flood of Noah. At that time, God said, “If you enter the ark, you will live.” “Build an ark. Build an ark for yourself. Build an ark for your descendants. Build an ark to preserve life.” A very important answer was given.

3) The Tower of Babel incident (Genesis 11) – “Leave Ur of the Chaldeans and go to the land I will show you. You will be the source of blessing, and all nations will be blessed” (Genesis 12:1-3). Next, the Tower of Babel incident occurred. It collapsed completely. At that time, God said, “Leave Ur of the Chaldeans. Go to the land I will show you. I will make it so that no one can stand against you. I will make you a source of blessing. Through your offspring, all nations will be blessed.” He gave this promise.

4) Mount Moriah (Genesis 22) – the ram instead of Isaac, blessing for all peoples on earth, the gate of their enemies (Genesis 22:13-18). And what was the final incident? On Mount Moriah, God led Abraham to offer Isaac. But if he offered Isaac, Isaac would die. So to make sure they would never forget, God prepared a ram. With that, He gave a promise: “Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed. Through your offspring you will possess the gate of their enemies.” This was given.

This field came to Joseph. Joseph held tightly to this covenant. You cannot hold onto a wrong covenant. He firmly held onto the accurate covenant. Just as the Word was given to you today, if you simply hold onto that, anyone can hold onto it correctly. Why? You must believe this: God has given you the authority to overcome the power of darkness. He has given you the blessing of building the ark that blocks disasters. He has promised that you will not remain under the collapsed Tower of Babel, but that you will leave Ur of the Chaldeans and go to the land of the covenant to do world evangelization. And the key that changes that destiny is the ram. So He said that through the one who realizes this He will surely accomplish world evangelization. What do you think? Joseph came to Egypt as a slave. This is exactly that.

3. When you find the accurate answer, your thoughts change. Once you find the accurate answer, your way of thinking changes first. From today, you must receive the blessing of having your thoughts changed.

1) The death of his mother – a foothold. Even the death of his mother became a foothold.

2) The threats of his brothers – preparation of a vessel. The threats of his brothers became the complete preparation of a vessel for Joseph.

3) Prison – the road to success. He was even thrown into prison because of Potiphar’s wife. That was actually the road to success.

4) The betrayal of the cupbearer – God’s timetable. In the prison, the cupbearer betrayed him. That was God’s timetable. In this way, his thoughts were completely changed.

※ If you remain in excuses, scars, complaints, and lamentation, you will never receive answers. When I look at remnants, most of them make excuses: “My family is like this, my parents are like that…” That is what they say. I tell them, “If you do not change that way of thinking, you will never, ever receive answers.” Right? You cannot receive them that way. Your thinking must change. If Joseph had been trapped in the scar of saying, “I have no mother—how am I supposed to live?” and spent his time weeping in that scar, he would not have been able to do anything. If he had lamented, “Why would my brothers do this to me?” nothing could happen. If he had cried out, “I did nothing wrong—why am I being sent to prison?” there would be no way forward.

4. The confession of faith of one who holds the accurate covenant. When you, who now hold the accurate covenant, make a confession of faith:

1) Answers for 100 years, 1000 years, and eternity – a witness. That confession will bring answers for 100 years, 1000 years, and even for eternity. You must believe this. This is what we call a “witness.”

2) It brings about tremendous works – world evangelization. The confession you make will bring about tremendous works. That is what we call world evangelization. You must not lose hold of this. If today you hold onto the accurate covenant and change your thinking, amazing things will take place.

3) It changes destinies and brings about a work that shines light in the darkness. You must remember this again. The confession of faith made by a person who holds the accurate covenant is not just any confession. It brings answers for 100 years, 1000 years, and eternity, it changes destinies, and it brings about works that shine light into the darkness. Joseph showed this as evidence.

▣ Main – Joseph’s confession of faith

1. The confession of faith made in the family – it saves the family line. First is the confession of faith made in the family. What was Joseph’s confession of faith in his family?

1) The sun, moon, and stars bowed down to me – world evangelization. He confessed that the sun, moon, and stars bowed down to him. His brothers came to hate him intensely. They thought he had gone crazy. He was speaking about world evangelization. His brothers were so angry that they cursed and rebuked him.

2) “It was not you who sold me, but God who sent me ahead of you” – the covenant is surely fulfilled. Then one day, as you know, his brothers tried to kill Joseph but instead sold him. How was this fulfilled? No one knew. Jacob wondered, “Did Joseph really die? What happened to him?” Parents have a sense when a child dies. Joseph had just vanished. Then one day, an amazing event took place. Joseph became the prime minister of Egypt, the man who moved the world. His brothers were shocked. They trembled in fear. At that time he said, “It was not you who sold me, but God who sent me ahead of you.” This news was delivered to his father. What do you think Jacob thought when he heard this? God’s covenant is surely fulfilled. Right?

3) Israel – Jacob who blessed Pharaoh. In this way, the entire family of Israel, seventy people in all, came down to Egypt. They were given the safest land, the land of Goshen. The aged Jacob came leaning on his staff, leading the seventy members of his family into Egypt. His son was prime minister. When he arrived, leaning on his staff, and the family of this powerful prime minister came, Egypt must have been in an uproar. Even the king himself honored this family. When Pharaoh welcomed Jacob’s family and met him, the Bible records one thing: this Jacob is Israel. Right? As soon as he met Pharaoh, Jacob lifted his hands and blessed him.

※ The confession of faith made while holding the accurate covenant is surely fulfilled. It was the gospel that made Joseph victorious. The confession of faith that you make while holding the accurate covenant is surely fulfilled. This was not Joseph making himself victorious; it was the gospel that made Joseph victorious.

2. The confession of faith made in the field – the blessing of the throne appears and the field is saved. Second, the confession of faith made in the field brings out the blessing of the throne. What happened in the field? The confession in the field is not just with the mouth. It is seen.

1) Potiphar saw that the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in everything. “The Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in everything he did.” “Potiphar saw that the Lord was with Joseph and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did.” The blessing even reached the fields. As long as Joseph managed things, God blessed even the fields. These tremendous evidences began to appear. Today, if you hold onto the accurate covenant, every prayer you offer will surely be fulfilled. Turn despair into God’s blessing. You must not merely endure. Since God’s plan is surely within your despair, turn it into God’s blessing.

2) The warden entrusted all the work of the prison to Joseph. This Joseph, who had been falsely accused, was thrown into prison. But again, works arose there. The warden in that prison entrusted all the work of the prison to Joseph. Such things were taking place.

3) The incident of the officials being put into prison – it became the event that changed Joseph’s destiny and the world. In the midst of this, as you know, the king’s officials, the cupbearer and baker, were put into prison. This became the amazing turning point that changed Joseph’s destiny and the world.

※ You are the remnant, the pilgrim, and the conqueror – the confession made while holding the accurate covenant reveals tremendous power. When you hold the accurate covenant and pray in the name of Jesus Christ, the power of darkness is broken (Luke 10:19, Mark 3:15). You are the remnant, the pilgrim, and the conqueror. The confession you make—your confession while holding the accurate covenant—reveals tremendous power. You must believe this. So Jesus promised, “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions.” As soon as He called them, He said, “I have given you authority to drive out demons.” This worship today is where you hold this covenant and pray. Even during worship, works arise. When you hold onto this covenant accurately and pray in the name of Jesus Christ, the power of darkness is broken.

3. The confession of faith of the fulfilled covenant – it becomes world evangelization, the work of the kingdom of God. Third, the confession of faith made with the fulfilled covenant becomes world evangelization. This is not just any confession of faith. The confession made in the family saved the family line. The confession made in the field saves the field. The confession of faith made with the fulfilled covenant ultimately carries out world evangelization. It accomplishes the work of the kingdom of God.

1) “God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires” (Genesis 41:16) – “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the Spirit of God?” (Genesis 41:38). It is connected to world evangelization. So when Joseph met Pharaoh, the first conversation is recorded. Pharaoh asked, “Can you interpret dreams?” Joseph replied, “I cannot do it.” This is a very precious statement. “But God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.” Then Joseph explained the dream, the interpretation, and even the policy. At that time, the king said, “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the Spirit of God, in whom there is such wisdom and power?” “Let us make this man prime minister. Let all the people and the nation move according to his word.” So Joseph personally sold the grain. As prime minister, he had to greet all the important figures and leaders who came from each country. He sold them the grain. This became an amazing event connected to world evangelization. The accurate covenant you hold and the confession you make reveal amazing power. You must believe this. This is why you worship again today. The prayer you offer in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is set to break the darkness.

2) “It was not you who sold me, but God who sent me ahead of you to save lives” (Genesis 45:5). While Joseph was doing this, people from all over the world came to buy grain—and his brothers came as well. Joseph wore splendid garments as prime minister, so his brothers did not recognize him. Who would imagine that the brother they had sold as a slave had become prime minister? They did not even think of it; they simply came to buy grain. Joseph saw them and recognized that they were his brothers. What do you think he did? The Bible records that before revealing himself to them, Joseph went into an inner room and wept loudly. Then he came out and spoke to his brothers, telling them that he was Joseph. His brothers were shocked. They trembled and begged for their lives. At that time, Joseph said, “It was not you who sold me, but God who sent me ahead of you to save lives. Do not be afraid.”

3) “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good; I will take responsibility for your children” (Genesis 50:20-21). The passage we read today goes even further. At last, Israel—Jacob—passed away. He gave instructions for his bones to be carried up later and left a will, and when Jacob died, Joseph wept loudly over his father for many days. His brothers became afraid. They thought, “Joseph’s weeping as prime minister is not just ordinary grieving. Now we are finished. He spared us only for our father’s sake; now that our father is gone, we are dead.” For they had done great evil. At that time, Joseph spoke the words recorded in today’s passage: “You intended to harm me,” he said, acknowledging their evil, “but God intended it for good. Do not be afraid.” And he added, “I will take responsibility for all of your children.” This is Joseph’s confession up to this point. God’s amazing evidences began to appear.

▣ Conclusion – What you must carry with you today

1. One in whom the Spirit of the Lord dwells – cultivate 300% strength (fullness of the Holy Spirit). Especially for our young adults, there will be many times when the world outside feels dark. And when our remnants go out and begin to live in the world, there will be times when they feel completely at a loss. You must build up strength. Become “one in whom the Spirit of the Lord dwells”—in simple terms, cultivate 300% strength. That is the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

2. Every path is the journey – go without fear. Build up that strength and go. Go without fearing anything. Every path you walk is part of the journey.

3. In my difficulties and crises – discover the accurate covenant. Answers will come for 100 years, 1000 years, and eternity. So you must remember this today. What are my difficulties? You must never lose hold of that question. What crisis am I in right now? Do not try to avoid it or force your way through it; you must discover the accurate covenant there. You must have this experience. Only then can you go as a witness to save others. The covenant you hold in this way will receive answers forever. It is truly mysterious. I have testified dozens of times. The covenant I held onto in childhood has continued to this day.

1) Disease – healing people with spiritual problems all over the world.

2) Poverty – restoring the economy of light to the level of world evangelization.

3) Inability – world evangelization. In childhood, the things that hit me the hardest were these: “Why are people suffering so much from sickness? Why is there so much poverty? And now that I go to church, why is it that the church cannot evangelize and has no power?” In that, I saw God’s Word. I did nothing else—I simply held onto the Word. If God is the Creator, how can it be right for me to remain in poverty? If God is almighty, how can it be that sickness renders a person completely powerless? From the beginning to the end, God speaks of world evangelization; how can it be right that the church is unable to evangelize? I realized that I had been holding onto the wrong covenant. I did only one thing: “Ah, I have held onto the wrong covenant. I must hold onto God’s accurate covenant.” World evangelization is God’s will. Right? Restoring the economy of light to the level of world evangelization is God’s will. Healing people with spiritual problems all over the world is God’s will. I only held onto the covenant, and answers kept coming. Joseph held onto the covenant of world evangelization, which his brothers failed to hold, and works arose. In the remainder of your life, you must have this experience. The covenant you hold sometimes comes as an answer for 100 years, sometimes as an answer for 1000 years, and sometimes as an eternal answer. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today, as you worship all day, this will be a day of blessing in which you discover what is truly important. Let us pray.

Prayer. Thank You, God. Let Joseph’s confession of faith become my confession today. Let me see Your absolute plan in the midst of despair. Let me hold onto Your accurate covenant and work with Your power. Let today become that timetable. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The First Thing to Teach Posterity

2025.11.16 Sunday 2nd Service
237 Missions Dept. Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: Acts 17:1-9

The power of the covenant – (Romans 16:25-27)
Thank you. The question is: how great is the power of the covenant? Because the covenant is God’s Word, it carries the power of creation. From the moment you hold onto this covenant, answers begin. And He is saying that He will now reveal what was hidden before eternity. Because this is the covenant of the gospel, He is saying He will give what will remain forever and ever.

[ Moses – age 80, 40 years ]
There is something you must think about here today. Moses held onto the covenant, but the works arose when he was 80 years old. And it took 40 years to travel the wilderness. That is how it was.

[ David – 15 to 20 years ]
Also, David held onto the covenant, and it was fulfilled after about 15 to 20 years.

[ Paul – 250 (313) ]
Paul even spoke about world evangelization, and it was fulfilled after 250 years. It was fulfilled when Paul was no longer there.

So how should we understand this? We held onto the covenant, and then do answers come only after such a long time? That is a misunderstanding. From the moment you hold onto the covenant, continuous answers come, and they continue all the way to 250 years. This was in AD 313. It is not that Moses received no answer and only finally received one at 80. Answers continued to be fulfilled, and at the age of 80, the D-day came.

[ Bartizan, journey, guidepost ]
In the end, when we look back, we see that the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne were all fulfilled. So this began from the moment you held onto the covenant. But most people receive this without knowing. Most people think there are no answers and then suddenly receive them.

[ Covenant – lifelong ]
Today, among us, there are those who know this covenant and hold onto it. When they held onto a lifelong covenant, works began from that moment. Many people receive without even knowing. As you are holding onto the covenant, most people have no idea what is taking place. Many people only realize it much later, after time has passed, and say, “Ah?” Some even realize it when their future generations see it and say, “Oh? Our mother and father prayed, and how is it that the answer has come this precisely?”

[ Grace ]
Even so, whether they realize it or not, the exact covenant is fulfilled at that time. The fact that we received it without knowing—that is grace.

[ Mission ]
But you now begin with understanding. This becomes a mission. We received salvation by grace. In one sense, without fully knowing. But now that we know, it is no longer just that. From this point on, it becomes a mission. So from the moment you hold onto this covenant, it begins to be fulfilled.
Among these, what is most important?
「What to teach the next generation first」 (Acts 17:1-9)
In 237 missions, what does God love most? The future generation. In one sense, the older people are footholds. The works will take place in the future generation. Because God hid them and then sent them, it is completely set for the Word to be fulfilled. If so, you must carry this for the future generation in your heart. What must you teach them most? What is the very first thing to teach the next generation? You must absolutely confirm this. This is the covenant we will hold today. Acts 17:1-9. What must we teach?

Introduction
The covenant you hold onto in childhood lasts for life and continues. Especially the children among the 5,000 tribes have virtually no cultural benefits. So in one sense, the gospel can go in to them directly.
I asked myself, “What is evangelism in childhood?” For me, evangelism was so difficult. Pastors on the pulpit kept telling us to evangelize, but I did not know what to do. So they printed tracts and said, “Take a bundle as you go and give them out.” They told us to hand the tracts to people so they could read them at home. Even that was hard for me. Roaming around delivering tracts, without even knowing the gospel—this was so difficult. I was immature and did not understand evangelism. So I would put three tracts into some homes—just to finish faster. That is how hard evangelism was for me. “Why is evangelism so difficult that it does not work in this church? Is it really this hard?”
And why are our good, precious adults so tormented by poverty? You might say it was the times, but why are they so tormented by sickness? These three questions became my covenant in childhood, and they have continued to this day. It is amazing. The covenant that remnants hold in childhood determines their entire lives.

  1. Developed countries – 40%
The situation is quite serious now. Not all, but among the future generation in developed countries, in some schools about 40% of students are on medication. These are their own statistics. That is how it is in America. There are even schools where up to 40% of the students are told, “Let the teachers administer medication and make them study.” This is no small problem.
  2. Developing countries – a state of abandonment
In developing countries, children are in a completely abandoned state. Not just neglected, but completely abandoned. It is beyond imagination. Among African countries, Kenya is a relatively developed nation. Nairobi in Kenya is a famous city. When I went there, thousands of children were roaming around. That is the capital city. So I asked, “Do these children not go to school?” They said no. I asked the children, “Why are you not in school?” and they would not even answer. So I asked again, and though not all, they said, “There are schools.” But in the current situation, even though there are school buildings, there are no teachers to teach. So thousands of children wander the streets. I thought, “This is not a normal situation.” The international community says they are doing something, but I wonder what, because people are literally starving to death. Many are sick from drinking contaminated water. For those of us in a developed country like Korea, it is hard to understand. When you open your refrigerator, it is filled with clean water—how can you understand? But those children drink dirty, stagnant water.
  3. Children who are in Korea
More importantly, we must think about the children who are here in Korea. The teams working with multiethnic ministry and 237 work must think fast and correctly about this. These children here in Korea have parents, of course. The multiethnic families who have come here are often unable to clearly talk about how difficult their situation is. Whatever their hardships may be, we do not know. So those who are doing 237 ministry must be most aware of these things.
They might not say it out loud, but the issues that come up most often are visas—perhaps the biggest issue. You must be somewhat specialized to handle this. Next is employment. Then, following that, come issues with the children’s education. These are the kinds of problems that arise. And if the visas do not work out, the family cannot stay together and must go back. They are all struggling with the same concerns. Recently, I listened to an interview President Lee Jae-myung had with some scientists. In that interview, a foreigner stood up and asked a question. He said he was studying here for his PhD, but his current visa did not allow his children to stay with him. So he was in a situation where he would have to go back. I do not know the exact visa conditions, but he said this in front of the president.
We must care for such people like family within the church. It is not that they are thinking, “We must get help from everyone,” but they have real difficulties, and we must not be ignorant of them. We must pray together and walk with them.
I mentioned this once before: some people came to Korea to get married. Among them were those who had been deceived. Some had already been married before and had children in their home countries. Then they married again and came to Korea. After living with their Korean husbands and seeing how good they were, they eventually shared their situation. Their husbands said, “All right,” and brought the children over. But those children could not legally enroll in school. And there are tens of thousands of such children. I was shocked. “So this is how it is.” If I had known, I would have started a school right away. Those children’s school would not even need elaborate facilities. Just gather them and teach them.
This is how we must raise the future generation. God has hidden treasures there. So at least in our church, what must we teach the next generation?

Main

  1. Acts 17:3 [ Christ ]
First, in verse 3 of chapter 17, he gives an explanation about Christ. He explained about Christ, and we must clearly make Christ known to the children. We must clearly explain the term “Christ.” This term is the way, the truth, and the life that leads to the Triune God. This word “Christ” is extremely important.

1)Perfection
So we must teach the perfection of Christ.

(1) John 8:56
To solve our eternal past, what is first? The Christ who existed before eternity. In John 8:56, what does He say? “Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” This is an astounding statement. The Jews lost their minds when they heard it. “How old are you?” they asked. They did not know that Christ had been prophesied before eternity and that knowing this name alone would bring salvation. It is an astounding name.
Someone once wrote to me, saying, “Pastor, when you said in your message that Christ solved my past, I was so thankful.” That is right.

(2) John 1:14
In John 1:14, He became flesh, taking on a human body, and came to save people.

(3) Acts 3:6
Even now, as in Acts 3:6, when we command in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, works arise. What is this? The resurrected Christ. Even now, we can use that authority in His name.

(4) Revelation 20:1-15
It does not end there. He has also solved the problems of the future. Christ will come again as the Lord of the Second Coming. In Revelation 20:1-15 we find the record of Christ who will come again as the Lord of the Second Coming.

(5) Revelation 21:1-17
In Revelation 21:1-17, we see the eternal Christ who will stand as the Judge forever. In other words, if that person is a child whom God has chosen, then the moment this one word enters them, works arise completely.
The ones in whom the least works occur are often those who have attended church a long time—because they do not know. They have been in church too long and are spiritually tormented. But someone who has been spiritually tormented for a long time receives Christ and is finished. That person stakes their life. Some are constantly tormented by suicidal thoughts and hear voices. When they believe and receive Jesus Christ, works arise. That is why shamans often sincerely believe—because they have experiences. After great suffering, they receive Christ and answers come. Of course, Christ is also the complete answer for you.

2)Fullness of the Holy Spirit
So He guides you completely from beginning to end. He also guides your future. He promised this. Right? “He will teach you all things and will tell you what is yet to come.” This is what we call the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, He gives this kind of strength.

3)7·7·7 300%
Not only that—what else? He gives you the bartizan, journey, and guidepost so that you can succeed 300%. The remnants among the multiethnic peoples whom God has prepared will have all darkness crumble before this one word, Christ. We have heard the word “Christ” so often that we say, “What, Christ?” But in darkness, it is the perfect light.

  1. Acts 17:2 [ The perfection of worship and prayer ]
Second, what must we teach? Verse 2 of chapter 17. What does it say there? In verse 2 it says, “On three Sabbath days…” What is this “new Sabbath”? We must make these remnants know perfectly what worship and prayer are. “But will children understand?” That is your thought. If the Holy Spirit works, they will understand. Right? People also say, “Will new believers understand?” That is truly an ignorant statement. When the Holy Spirit works, people understand even when they hear it for the first time. “No one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ except by the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:3. Jesus Himself said, “If you ask in my name, the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, will be with you forever. He will let you know the future and remind you of everything I have said to you.” That is how it is. We must teach what worship and prayer are.

1)The Lord of prayer (the Triune God)
So then, the Lord of prayer is not us. Right? When you pray, the Lord of prayer—the Triune God—works invisibly.

2)The background of prayer – throne, kingdom, and its work
We must teach what the background of prayer is. What is the background of prayer? Today, we have worshiped with the three feasts. That is the background: the throne, the kingdom, and the work of the kingdom. Just wait and see. You worship on Sunday, hold onto the Word, and pray—and in your field, the throne, the kingdom, and the work of the kingdom are surely fulfilled. This is the background of prayer.

3)The method of prayer
So then, what is the method of prayer? Why must I pray?

(1) Imprint (brain)
Our prayer not only connects to the throne, but it becomes imprinted in us. It becomes imprinted in our brains. That is why it is very important to pray out loud.

(2) Root (soul)
Our prayer becomes rooted in our souls.

(3) Nature (throne)
Our prayer makes our very nature one that communicates with the throne. This is prayer. So worship is no ordinary thing. Prayer is important. If our precious remnants can listen properly to the message of Christ and pray, it is essentially finished.

  1. Acts 17:1 [ The perfection of answers ]
So they went into the synagogue. Why did they go into the synagogue? Not only prayer, but the perfection of answers.

1)Talents 300%
God will cause the talents of our remnants to reach 300%.

2)Work 300%
For the remnants who have come from those dark countries, God will make their work 300%. Otherwise, world evangelization cannot be done.

3)Evangelism and missions 300%
We must teach them this. If I were teaching them, I would teach like this: “From now on, do not pray to be the ones helped, but pray to be the ones who help. From now on, though we must pray, ‘Lord, send workers,’ do not merely pray that way—pray, ‘Lord, allow us to send workers.’”
RLS has become such a wonderful school now. It is a place where gifted children gather. At first, runaway kids were the ones there. Runaway kids had come and were staying in the church. No matter how foolish we are, we still had to do something. We had to make a school. At that time, I preached in the first service here, then went up to Seoul for the second service and came back. I counseled them on the airplane while flying with them. I told them, “First of all, you are an extraordinary child. You have done three things I could not do. I wanted to run away from home but could not. I wanted to quit school but could not; I just kept attending. I did not want to go to church but went because I had to. You have done all three. You are an amazing person. From now on, start from here. Take this character you have and start from here.”
So should we name the school “The House of Runaway Kids”? Of course not. From the beginning I said, “You are future leaders.” And now they are truly doing that role. The RLS students are now playing a role in leading the world. Truly. “You must enjoy the 300% blessing of evangelism and missions that God gives you, and through that, carry out world evangelization.” Even if they do not fully do this, we must teach correctly. Among the many things God has given us, even if we cannot do everything, we must still speak about God’s things.

Conclusion
What is the conclusion?

  1. The first opportunity
For these children, and for the 237 children you will meet in the future, as I said before, they have never heard this once. You must always remember that. Why must we clearly tell them this? Because they have never heard it. It is the first time. This might sound a bit proud, but if you do not tell them, there is no one else. Right?
  2. The last opportunity
It is the last opportunity for those children.
  3. The eternal opportunity
So how must we form them? We must imprint them so that they will never forget, for eternity. We do not know when we will see them again. It is an eternal opportunity.
So, as you did well last time also, when those children come, we must absolutely plant into them the sure gospel, testimonies backed by prayer, and the sense of their mission. If needed, we must also start something new.
When we first moved into a 35-pyeong basement, there was one thing we did that has never stopped. The entire church took turns fasting one day at a time. It says Paul fasted and prayed when he first went out to the mission field. So he completely received the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because you prayed like that, you are now playing the leading role in world evangelization.
So from now on, for the sake of temple construction—since we must have the three courtyards—how about we set up a relay of daily fasting prayer for the building? For those who do not know how to pray, just being hungry is prayer. Saying, “Oh, I’m hungry,” is prayer. In this way, we connect faith and the covenant. During the North Korea missions conference, I said, “Pray in relay every day.” Fasting one day is actually good for your body as well. So there is nothing bad about it. How about starting a relay of prayer, where the entire congregation continues to pray without ceasing until the temple construction is fully done? In that, multiethnic peoples, remnants, and TCK children will naturally be included.
What would have happened if Philip had said something else to the Ethiopian eunuch? It would have been a disaster. He explained Christ. Christ is the name before which all forces of darkness tremble. It is the name that broke the power of Satan. He is the true priest who took all the curses we were supposed to receive. We could never meet God, so He made known to us the true way—the true prophet, not just any prophet. And He is not just any king. He is the true King. Not merely someone who wears priestly garments and performs rituals, but the true priest.
I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that this week the eyes of your life may be opened to see the blessing of the covenant being fulfilled. Let us pray.

Prayer. Let the covenant begin and be fulfilled throughout this week. For the people of the Lord who pray all day long inside the covenant, grant them the covenant You gave to the tabernacle, the temple, and the Mark’s upper room church. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
