But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. ²¹She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

²²All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: ²³“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Summary

▷ The greatest blessing for the Remnant and the saints is Immanuel. To be able to say “God was with me” in one’s studies is the greatest blessing. And when God is with you in your work, unbelievers come to realize it. The Remnant must prepare in advance before graduating. When you go out into the world, do not envy the world too much. Do not fear the world too much either. There is also no need to look down on the world. When you meet someone who is struggling, give them strength; when you meet someone great, do not avoid them or flatter them — if they know God’s blessing, bless them by saying they are a person of tremendous blessing. For Christians to curse people of the world is what the devil does. David never told King Saul that he was wrong. He showed it through evidence. The Remnant carries this. The promise Jesus made most often was the blessing of Immanuel.

▣ Introduction_ The Remnant succeeds as long as they are not deceived.

1. Fraudulent answers — Because people have almost entirely fraudulent answers, we must help them.
1) Powerful nations, weak nations — Powerful nations, having been deceived by Satan, oppress many people and take weak nations captive. If one fails to realize this, a believing person ends up running errands for powerful nations.
2) Being deceived by Genesis chapters 3, 6, and 11 — There is no need to be afraid or shaken.
3) The Nephilim (culture) — Do not be astonished when you see Nephilim culture.

2. 7 nations (plagues) — The Remnant have blocked all the great plagues of the 7 nations.

3. Satan’s 12 errands — The world is running Satan’s 12 errands. We must have compassion.

▣ Main_ 5 things for the Remnant to remember about the Immanuel blessing

1. The beginning of Immanuel
1) Problem — The beginning of Immanuel has almost always arisen at the time of a problem. That is, a problem is a beginning. Joseph is the one who found the answer in a family problem, and David is the one who found the answer in a social problem.
2) Process — The entire process is the answer.
3) Result — It is to become a witness.
With — God is with me.
Immanuel — It is to testify that He was with us.
Oneness — It is being a witness to having the answer in which God fulfills His will in all things.

2. The Remnant’s prayer
1) Pray that the Triune God would come upon me.
2) Pray that the 9 blessings of the throne would appear in my life.
3) Pray that the answer of the 3 eras of world conquest would appear in my field.
Spiritual summit — The spiritual summit comes first.
Functional summit — What comes to the Remnant from within the spiritual summit is the functional summit.
Cultural summit — That answer is inevitably put to use, and that is called the cultural summit.
The word summit means rising to the top, and the Remnant only needs to be able to rise spiritually to the top. No one can stop the Remnant from reaching the top through prayer.

3. The Remnant’s standard
1) 237 — Studies and occupations that align with 237 will be chosen.
2) Healing — Healing 237, and
3) Summit — Making the next generation into summits is the standard.
It is absolutely necessary to make the non-face-to-face into face-to-face in order to heal 237 nations and create summits. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, who turned the non-face-to-face into face-to-face, took over the entire economy.

4. The Remnant’s experience
1) Future camp — It is to help discover the “only.”
2) Prayer camp — The prayer camp is where uniqueness is discovered.
3) Talent camp — The talent camp is called re-creation.

5. The Remnant’s preparation to save the world
1) Coming-of-age ceremony (platform) — The key of the coming-of-age ceremony is to develop complete expertise and build a platform.
2) Mission ceremony (bartizan) — Specializing one’s talent is the mission ceremony, and looking at this and seeing the world is called the bartizan.
3) Sending-out ceremony (antenna) — Making it field-applicable is the sending-out ceremony, and looking at this, it is called the spiritual antenna through which God, myself, and the world communicate.

▣ Conclusion

▷ If the Remnant goes out into the world not knowing this, the world will look tremendous and they will fall into the illusion that they are nothing.

1. Be conscious of prayer. — If you are not conscious of prayer, you will unknowingly start thinking, and that will bring limitations and problems, leading to misjudgment and overreacting.
2. Be conscious of breathing. — Your mind will improve tremendously from the very start. Be conscious of prayer as you breathe, and conversely, be conscious of breathing as you pray.

3. Breath prayer and Word meditation — As you worship, take one word that strikes you and meditate on it within prayer throughout the entire week. Do this for three months and your mental illness will be healed.

▷ For the Remnant, graduation is the beginning. In chess, the pawn (卒) can mean an end, but it also means a beginning. The Remnant must become the beginning of saving the world right here. Pastors and elders must join hands together and start the future camp, prayer camp, and talent camp.

Transcript

The greatest blessing for our Remnant and our saints is Immanuel. When you can say “God was with me” in your studies, that is the greatest blessing. And in fact, when you can say “God was with me” in your work, unbelievers come to realize it.

The Remnant are now graduating and going out, and they must prepare in advance. When you go out into the world, do not envy the world too much. The world is difficult right now, and it is deceiving, so you must not envy it. And there is no need to fear the world too much either. There is also no need to look down on the world too much.

So you all need to prepare well like this before going out. When you go out, you will encounter strange people. You must not call them strange. You must give them strength by saying they can do it. After that, you can help them with the parts that are wrong. When you encounter someone who seems lacking in some way, you must not tell them they are lacking. You need to tell them that they can receive and convey God’s blessing. You may also meet people who are far more remarkable than you. Even then, do not avoid them or flatter them. If they know God’s blessing, you must bless them by saying that they are a person of tremendous blessing.

Our Christians go out into the world and curse people of the world a lot. That is what the devil does. That is why they get criticized. There are so many people who excessively criticize or speak ill of people of the world. That is seeing things wrongly. Also, when those people of the world do a little well, they envy them too much. That is seeing things wrongly. Also, when they meet someone who is acting very wickedly, not realizing the person is raging in desperation, they become very afraid. That is seeing things wrongly.

The Remnant absolutely must, because no one will teach them when they go out, sort this out first. Without fail, when you go out, you will meet people who appear to be utterly hopeless. That is not because they are hopeless. You are seeing things wrongly. Because they are people who are almost entirely mistaken, they will say all kinds of wrong things. You must not tell them they are wrong. Because you already know what is right. Isn’t that so? David never told King Saul that he was wrong. He showed it through evidence.

Immanuel

The Remnant has the greatest blessing, and this (Immanuel) is what they carry with them. Isn’t that right? Even Jesus, among the most numerous promises in the Bible, gave the blessing of “Immanuel” — that He would be with us.

▣ Introduction

If you, Remnant, are just not deceived, success is easy.

1. Fraudulent answers

Because people have almost entirely fraudulent answers, you need to help them. Shall I put it simply?

1) Powerful nations, weak nations

Powerful nations are not truly powerful — they are being deceived by Satan and oppressing many people. So you need to go quickly, break the darkness, and tell them the gospel.

(Weak nations)

Almost all of these nations capture weak nations and take them as captives, don’t they. If you fail to realize this, a believing person ends up running errands there. That makes no sense.

2) Genesis 3, 6, 11

Because people are almost entirely being deceived by Genesis chapters 3, 6, and 11, there is no need for you to look at that and become afraid or shaken.

3) Nephilim (culture)

These people are shocked by the movements, works, and culture related to the Nephilim. Isn’t it true that the Nephilim will produce tremendous culture? Would it not seem tremendous when a shaman performs a ritual? You must not be astonished by that. It is the same thing. If you just are not deceived, answers are easy. The Remnant must absolutely remember this.

2. 7 nations (plagues)

Because the Remnant have blocked the plagues of seven great nations. It is easy. These people are pitiful — why should they be feared? They are not objects of fear. They are not objects for you to criticize. The very fact that you criticize them shows you do not know the gospel. Why would you criticize them? Of course these people are in this condition (fraudulent answers), aren’t they. Because of that, people say, “Christians are strange.” They hear, “That person believes in Jesus, but they’re really strange.” When you meet people like this (Introduction 1), give them strength; when you meet people like this (Introduction 1), give them the answer by serving — that is how it is done. The Remnant must absolutely remember this.

When I used to do a lot of evangelism at school back in the day, the biggest obstacle was — who do you think it was? — the Christians in the school. Back then I wasn’t in a position to be politically marked, so I went around freely sharing the gospel, but the Christians kept doing strange things and it blocked evangelism. You know those things — those endlessly low-level things — you must not do those.

The Remnant must keep this in mind. Do not fear the world. Do not envy the world. Do not look down on the world. Behind it all is Satan. You must not look down on it. You must always remember this.

3. Satan’s errands (12)

The world is running Satan’s 12 errands, isn’t it. You must have compassion. So people who do not even know the gospel — they criticize and speak ill of others constantly… that is what devils do. Absolutely, wherever you go in the field, do not do that. If someone is being criticized, go to that person and comfort them. If you are definitely going to stir something up, stir things up in secret while helping others. And then the time to share the gospel will come.

▣ Main

Now, because time is short, let me quickly write down the 5 things the Remnant must remember about the Immanuel blessing.

1. The beginning of Immanuel

This is the beginning of Immanuel. How did the beginning of Immanuel come about?

1) Problem

It arose almost entirely at the time of problems. Isn’t that right? It arose at the time of problems. Joseph is the one who found the answer in the midst of a family problem. David is the one who found the answer within social problems. A problem is a beginning, and the entire process is the answer.

2) Past — Answer

This (problem) is the beginning.

3) Result — Witness

And without fail, the result is to become a witness. What kind of witness? You must absolutely remember this.

[WITH]
It is to testify that God was with me.

[Immanuel]
It is to testify that God was with us.

[Oneness]
It is to be a witness that God had the answer to fulfilling His will in all things. Joseph said, “It was not my brothers who sold me — God sent me ahead.”

2. RT’s prayer

This is the second point. Teachers need to know this and the Remnant needs to know this too. This is the Remnant’s prayer. If you know this prayer, it is actually over. Start from now.

1) Triune God (within me)
Pray that the Triune God would come upon me within.

2) Throne (my life)
Pray that the 9 blessings of the throne would appear in my life.

3) Era (my field)
Pray that the answer of the 3 eras of world conquest would appear in my field. This is prayer. Then you will without fail become like this.

[Spiritual summit]
The spiritual summit comes first. What I am talking about right now is not my own words. You must absolutely not miss this. You all genuinely need to receive the answer.

[Functional summit]
What comes out for the Remnant, for your children, from within this spiritual summit is called the functional summit. Then that answer will be put to use.

[Cultural summit]
And so it is called the cultural summit. The word summit means rising to the top. For the Remnant to be able to rise spiritually to the top, age does not matter. No matter how young the Remnant may be, no one anywhere can stop the Remnant from rising to the top through prayer.

3. RT’s standard

This is the third point. The Remnant’s standard.

1) 237
Studies and occupations that align with 237 will be chosen for you.

2) Healing
Healing 237, and

3) Summit
Making the next generation into summits is the standard.

[Non-face-to-face, face-to-face]
So you must remember the third answer. Making the non-face-to-face into face-to-face in order to heal and make summits of 237 nations is absolutely necessary. Now, what you all are studying going forward — it does not matter. If this (non-face-to-face, face-to-face) is not the answer, the Remnant cannot survive right now. God will give it to you.

This non-face-to-face into face-to-face was already created by Bill Gates’s New Age team and Freemason Steve Jobs. So they seized control of the economy. Those people donate tens of trillions and don’t even blink. They keep giving. Because they have so much. But Christians struggle and agonize over building a single sanctuary, while these people just donate tens of trillions without a second thought.

Do you know what it is? They conquered the world through turning non-face-to-face into face-to-face. We are only at the level where COVID comes and we say “let’s go non-face-to-face.” And even then, people talk about COVID as if the government gave it to us, or as if some individual created it for us — where does that kind of thing come from? In every era, within each plague, there has been God’s plan. The Remnant’s standard. If you know the prayer (RT’s prayer), this follows immediately.

4. RT’s important experience

This is the fourth point. The Remnant’s important experience. Adults must do this alongside them. You must listen carefully and put it into practice.

1) Future camp (only)
Call all the Remnant starting from Saturday and hold a future camp. Isn’t that right? The greatest answer in the future camp is to help them discover the “only.”

2) Prayer camp (uniqueness)
Call them here and teach them prayer. The prayer camp is where uniqueness is discovered.

3) Talent camp (re-creation)
And after that, hold the talent camp. Looking at this is called re-creation. Our church needs to do this. Because we must be different. Isn’t that right? So we need to make it so that globally elite people, their parents, unbelievers, bring their children and come to our church. When word spreads, that will happen. Do not teach the children other things. In the future camp, you need to make them discover “what has God given you.” The children must be able to survive wherever they go. Teach them the prayer camp — you need to teach them what this prayer is. And the answer that comes after that is the true talent. That is when the talent camp is held. This is re-creation.

5. RT’s preparation to save the world

This is the fifth and final point. The Remnant’s preparation to save the world. You need to be preparing for this right now before going out into the world. You are completely equipped with expertise to be able to do this.

1) Coming-of-age ceremony (platform)
That is what is called the coming-of-age ceremony. From that, a platform is built. This is the key of the coming-of-age ceremony.

2) Mission ceremony (bartizan)
You need to specialize that talent. It is the mission ceremony. Looking at this and seeing the world is called the bartizan. Regardless of whether the answer comes or not, the preparation to save the world must be in place, mustn’t it. Constantly teaching useless, other things — getting the children confused — and the children end up going in circles and losing their minds.

3) Sending-out ceremony (antenna)
The children are ready to go out into the world. They have been made field-ready. That is the sending-out ceremony. Looking at this, it is called the antenna through which God, myself, and the world communicate. The spiritual antenna!

These five things must be firmly prepared before going out into the world. This is what I am saying — “let us do this in our church.” What is there to be afraid of that keeps us from doing it? There is no need to do other things, things that are of no use. Before the children go out, the most necessary things — wherever they are placed, they must be able to survive — these are the things that must be taught. Of course, since the adults are not there yet, they cannot teach it; adults, when they speak, say a lot of nonsense. So you cannot teach the children.

Everyone, a person who clearly receives the answer is different. Isn’t that right? You know, don’t you? I am telling you they are different. So even though we have many pastors, you can already tell who among them receives the answer. That is how you know. “Ah, that one seems like they might have a hard time.” If you yourself are struggling, you cannot make others comfortable. That makes no sense. Stripping away everything that is most important — covering children with worldly things and sending them out half-dead — that is how it looks to me. When Christians go out, the children are almost like they are disabled.

Now our Remnant is rising and things are changing a little. Almost all Christians go out into the world without any real strength. You really must hear this. Our church needs to do these five things. God will be pleased and bring everything to us. The Bible says so. Five Remnant — God gave everything to the person who raised them like this. God said, “There is no need to even ask. I know everything.” He said, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

▣ Conclusion

Let me conclude. If the Remnant has fully tasted this (Main) before going out into the world, that is it — and even knowing it a little, you will overcome when you go out. If you go out into the world not knowing this (Main) at all, you will begin to become confused.

What is the first thing that confuses you? “Wow, now that I’ve gone out into the world, it is tremendous!” — that is how it looks. Isn’t that right? “Wow, there are so many amazing people!” — that is how it feels. “Wow, unbelievers! Hey, I am nothing!” — that is how it starts to feel. The illusion has begun.

On top of that, people who think they are great start criticizing Christianity. And you feel ashamed as you listen. They say nonsense like “Do not confine everything within Christ.” They say famous-sounding things like that. In that way, they are driving you toward Satan.

What you are able to do is to be a witness who has received the answer and has it appear — that is all you can do. It cannot be done any other way. Would Potiphar agree to be guided by Joseph? That makes no sense. But if Joseph receives the answer, Potiphar has to follow. That is what I am saying. A witness!

1. Prayer consciousness

So from now on, the Remnant must be conscious of prayer. What this means is that if you are not conscious of prayer, you will unknowingly start thinking. Isn’t that right? This brings limitations to you, brings problems to you, causes you to make wrong judgments, and causes you to overreact. Always maintain the consciousness of connecting to prayer. The Remnant must understand this.

2. Breath consciousness

You are breathing right now. Isn’t that right? Because if you don’t breathe, you die. But that breathing is at a level that is insufficient enough to cause much cancer in your body. Be conscious of your breathing. Then the Remnant’s mind will improve tremendously from the very start. So be conscious of prayer as you breathe. Conversely, be conscious of breathing as you pray. It is a very difficult thing to say, but it is the answer.

My sermons are widely rumored to be mostly incomprehensible. That will be so. It is fine even if you cannot understand. Only those who understand need to understand. Are there any breathing specialists here? You must take note. The Remnant need to do this (prayer consciousness, breath consciousness) almost 24 hours a day.

3. Breath prayer, Word meditation

Combining the two, this is breath prayer and Word meditation. For Word meditation — listen to the core message carefully, and when you hear the Sunday worship service once like this, one word will strike you. Meditate on that word within prayer throughout the entire week.

What will happen? If you do these three (Conclusion: points 1, 2, 3) for just three months, your mental illness will be healed. If you do not, it will absolutely never be healed. Your brain has already been damaged from shallow breathing. You cannot study well. And if you force yourself to study, you will lose your mind. Isn’t that right? And because you think a lot without praying, your head is about to explode. You do not pray. You think a lot.

Change it. (Prayer consciousness, breath consciousness.) And along with that, Word meditation. Then when you hear a sermon, it will connect right away. And then a surprising answer will come to you. One day the way I was being tormented spiritually is gone. The mind was going in circles — being told you are going in circles when you keep getting hit with a rag — is that not going in circles? But now this is seen correctly, like this.

You must absolutely remember. This is truly something the Remnant need to make their own for a long, long time. This is absolutely not my own words. The most important core things in the Bible. They leave out just the core and do every kind of nonsensical thing. That is what kills.

Jesus said it, didn’t He. “If you are about to drown a child in the water, if you just let them fall in they could come out on their own — why would you tie a stone around their neck and send them down?” He said that. That was said to the Pharisees. If you just push children into the water, they could come out on their own. But they bound them so they couldn’t come out and attached a stone so they would sink and die — that is what He was saying.

For the Remnant, it is not graduation — it is a beginning. In English it is “Commence.” “Start,” “graduation,” “start” — they are the same word. Even in chess, the pawn (卒) can mean an end, but it also becomes a beginning. To the Remnant, right here, we must truly, truly become the beginning of saving the world. Pastors, join hands together with the elders and begin. The future camp, the prayer camp, and this talent camp. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we give thanks to You, the God who has blessed our Remnant. We truly need Your healing, God. We need Your power, God. Please use the Remnant, God. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Blessing of 25

2 Kings 19:35. That night the angel of the Lord went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning—there were all the dead bodies!

What happens when you commune with God who dwells within you 24/7, enjoy Immanuel—God with us—every moment of your life, and trust the God who works all things together for your good? In time, you will experience what can only be called God’s “25th hour.”

The 25th hour is God’s time. It is the moment when He reveals His power beyond human limitations. It transcends time and space. It is not produced by human effort, intelligence, experience, or resources. It belongs to the heavenly realm, where God accomplishes what no person can achieve. It is the hour when God displays His glory for the sake of His covenant and the advancement of the gospel.

Moses experienced God’s 25th hour throughout his life. It began when God revealed His covenant to him at Mount Horeb. The Lord said:

“The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God'” (Exodus 3:18).

At that time, Israel had been enslaved in Egypt for more than four hundred years. Humanly speaking, there was no possibility of freedom. Yet Moses held firmly to God’s covenant of the blood (“sacrifices”) concerning the coming Messiah and His promise of deliverance. As he stood upon that covenant, the power of God was displayed throughout Egypt. The impossible became possible. What could not happen for four centuries suddenly became reality—the Exodus. That was God’s 25th hour.

Moses witnessed it again at the Red Sea. Trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the sea, the Israelites had nowhere to go. Fear and despair overwhelmed the people, but Moses stood upon God’s promise. Then Scripture records:

“Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel’s army, withdrew and went behind them” (Exodus 14:19).

Soon afterward,

“Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided” (Exodus 14:21).

No military strategy, political alliance, or human wisdom could have opened a path through the sea. This was God’s intervention. This was God’s 25th hour.

Even in the wilderness, while the Israelites repeatedly grumbled and complained, Moses continued to witness God’s extraordinary work. He received the Ark of the Covenant, the Tabernacle, and the mystery of the Three Festivals. He witnessed God’s provision, guidance, protection, and countless miracles. In every situation, God revealed His covenant and His power.

The people of unbelief never saw beyond their 24 hours because their eyes were fixed on their circumstances. Their thoughts were dominated by visible realities. The people of faith, however, saw something greater, invisible, and eternal. They saw the reality of the Triune God at work in every situation. Therefore, they witnessed God’s 25th hour.

King Hezekiah also experienced God’s 25th hour. When the mighty Assyrian Empire threatened Judah, every human option disappeared. Yet instead of surrendering to fear, Hezekiah held onto God’s covenant and prayed:

“Now, therefore, O Lord our God, I pray, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the Lord God, You alone” (2 Kings 19:19).

Notice the focus of his prayer. He was not merely seeking survival. He desired God’s glory to be revealed among the nations. He entrusted the fate of his kingdom to God alone.

That very night, God answered: “That night the angel of the Lord went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the Assyrian camp” (2 Kings 19:35).

One night changed everything. What no army could accomplish, God accomplished in a single moment. That was God’s 25th hour.

Later, when Hezekiah faced a terminal illness, he once again sought God:

“When Hezekiah heard this, he turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, ‘Remember, O Lord, how I have always been faithful to You and have served You single-mindedly, always doing what pleases You.’ Then Hezekiah wept bitterly” (2 Kings 20:2-3).

Again, God intervened. His life was extended, demonstrating that God’s authority reaches even beyond sickness and death. The God of the 25th hour remains sovereign over every circumstance.

The believers listed in Hebrews 11 also experienced God’s 25th hour. Many endured persecution, suffering, imprisonment, torture, rejection, and hardship. Yet they continued to trust God’s covenant. Scripture says concerning them that “the world was not worthy of them” (Hebrews 11:38). Their circumstances varied, but they shared one thing in common: they believed God’s promise more than what they saw with their eyes and experienced with their bodies.

The Apostle Paul recognized many such people in Romans 16. As he concluded his letter, he mentioned faithful believers who had witnessed God’s work alongside him (Romans 16:1-23). Some were benefactors. Some were fellow workers. Some labored tirelessly. Some risked their lives for the gospel. Others served quietly behind the scenes. Yet each one experienced God’s power by devoting themselves to God’s kingdom and covenant. They all witnessed God’s 25th hour.

As believers, we belong to the kingdom of God. Our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20). We have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 1:3). The 25th hour exists in that heavenly realm. While we live on earth, we are not limited to earthly realities. Through Christ, we have access to the authority and resources of God’s kingdom.

Jesus declared: “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19).

God desires His people to experience His 25th hour. Through it, He brings healing to the broken, restoration to the lost, and hope to a dying world. Without the power of the throne, it is impossible to overcome the powerful forces of darkness at work in this world. But when God’s kingdom breaks into our lives, what seems impossible becomes possible.

This is why God has called you to experience His 25th hour. To that end, He has revealed the mystery of Christ—the secret hidden for ages and generations but now made known through the gospel (Romans 16:25-26).

As you continue to hold onto the covenant of Christ, remain in prayer, and wait upon the Lord, God will give you undeniable evidence of His presence and power. He will lead you beyond the limitations of your 24 and into His 25th hour. Through your life, people will come to see that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Prayer. Father, open my eyes to see Your 25th hour. Help me hold firmly to Your covenant and wait upon You in prayer. Enable me to see beyond my circumstances and trust in Your heavenly plan. Display Your glory and power through my life so that many may come to know Christ. Use me as a witness of Your kingdom in this generation and beyond. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

4) The early church – witnesses who block the curse of the age. He called them entirely as the early church that blocks the curse of the age.

▣ Main_ You must stand in three lines.
1. God has placed me in the line of the originator through whom He shines His light. He has called me as the originator of the gospel.
1) Abraham – Leave Chaldea, which was given to idolatry and headed for ruin. Go to the land I will show you. He spoke of 5 blessings.
(1) Covenantal blessing – “Go to the land I will show you.”
(2) Foundational blessing – “You shall be a source of blessing.”
(3) Representative blessing – “Through you”
(4) Monumental blessing – “All nations will be blessed.”
(5) Irresistible blessing – “Absolutely no one will be able to overcome you.”
2) Jochebed – through Moses, she saved a nation.
3) David – God blocked many wars through David.
2. He has placed you in the line of witnesses who save the family line and completely transform it.
1) When you pray, the Triune God works through the Spirit – you who are saved through Christ, from now on when you pray, the Triune God is set to work through the Spirit invisibly and give you power.
2) When you pray, He works through the 9 blessings of the heavenly throne – He has established that when you hold this covenant and pray, He works through the 9 blessings of the heavenly throne.
3) When you pray, He has prepared answers that will save 3 ages – when you pray, God has prepared answers that will save 3 ages.
3. God has called me as a witness to save future generations and the future (Matthew 1:17).

1) Overcoming Egypt is the gospel – even though it seems like you are going through difficulties, overcoming Egypt is the gospel.
2) Overcoming the Philistines is the gospel – even though it seems like you are going through difficulties, completely overcoming the nation of the Philistines is the gospel.
3) Overcoming Babylon, Assyria, and Rome is the gospel – even though it seems like you are going through difficulties, overcoming Babylon, Assyria, and Rome too is the gospel.
▷ The prayer of one saved person surpasses all imagination. In any work of history, testimony has come forth.
▷ Where am I? I must check. If I am within the unfolding of God’s work, there is nothing more to be thankful for than that. Paul was genuinely thankful because being in prison was an opportunity to testify of this gospel to the Jews and an opportunity to preach the gospel to the Roman emperor.

▣ Conclusion_ Save those who have fallen into darkness and lost their way.
1. Great powers – the great powers are devouring the whole world, completely fallen into darkness. Go there and prove this covenant.
2. People fallen into idolatry – many people are dying, fallen into the path of destruction, into idolatry. He has sent you there to prove the power of God.
3. Who am I?
1) God has called me as the originator of the gospel. No help needed.
2) He has called me as a witness to save my family line.
3) He has called me as a witness to save the world and future generations.
▷ The Bible is a book of testimony. History has testified to it. It has been summarized and explained in Matthew chapter 1. Hold on to the certain testimony.

The generation before us could not even marry freely. There was a young woman in Busan who believed in Jesus well. One day her father met a friend and said, “Marry that man’s son.” She had never even seen his face, yet she was told, “Get married.” That was how parents were in those days. So she went to live with her husband’s family, and they were completely a Buddhist household. From that point on, she kept praying. ‘I need to go to church, I need to worship…’ she kept praying. So she finally gathered her courage. She took out the Bible she had been keeping and went to church. You know, it seems spiritual things are fearsome. Her father-in-law was not that kind of person, but simply because she went to church, he struck his daughter-in-law with a stick. Now her husband saw this and was beside himself. “Why did you go to a church you never used to go to?” That is what the husband said. “The truth is I am a daughter of God, and I have merely come to live here. I must go to church.” “But with my father reacting like that, can we afford for our family to be ruined? Can’t you just be the one to not go?” That is what he said. “Because I am a saved daughter of God, I must go.” That is what she said. The husband was so furious that he came home completely drunk, to the point he could barely walk. He put down a knife. “Either you stop going to church, or we both die here, one of the two.” That is what he said. Since he was very drunk, he could do something strange. But she was not afraid at all. “It is not that I should stop going to church – it is that you and all our family need to go to church. Stop suffering so much because of this idolatry and receive salvation.” At that, the husband just stabbed the knife into the floor and stormed out. From that point on, since she had to cook rice, she prayed even as she served the rice. The time of serving rice was the time she prayed for each family member one by one. She has since passed away. I mentioned it before. To give the conclusion first: that father-in-law who used to beat her with a stick became an elder. The husband who used to stop her from going to church also became an elder. That father-in-law, until the day he died, went to Busan’s Yongdusan Park every single day without fail and did evangelism. He even kept a list of those he had evangelized. He told me: “Because of my daughter-in-law, our family has received salvation. I did not know – I became a wicked sinner and persecuted her. Until the day I call upon God, I will preach this gospel.” He has since passed away, and in those days if you went to the park he was there every day.

▣ Introduction

Today, even now across our nation and the world in the field, there are new members. And there are also those among you who are going through difficulties. Today we are talking about an extraordinary secret here. We are going through the entire genealogy from Abraham to when Christ came.

1. The genealogy from Abraham to when Christ came – no matter what happened, the person who held this covenant survived.
From Abraham to David, 14 generations. From David to the Babylonian captivity, 14 generations. From returning from Babylon to when Christ came, 14 generations. What is this? It is speaking of history. To Egypt, to Babylon, to Rome – no matter what happened, the person who held this covenant survived. It is something like a miracle.

2. The people who entered into this line of covenant – it is a miracle that you are in this line of covenant.
You know, the fact that you are in this line of covenant – it is a miracle. You do not know what will happen going forward. Among them, a few particularly remarkable figures appear.
1) Rahab, who was a prostitute – became the grandmother of King David.
She entered into the line of the covenant, and this woman named Rahab was a prostitute. She went to Israel, and from among the sons and descendants of Rahab came King David. She was once a lowly prostitute, but she completely became the grandmother of the king.
2) Ruth, a foreign woman – met Boaz in Israel and accomplished a great work of God.
Another remarkable figure appears. It is Ruth, Ruth. That foreign woman, you see, met Boaz in Israel and came to accomplish a great work of God.
3) This secret of salvation brings about a great work even without the person knowing it.
This secret of salvation brings about a great work to the extent that even the person themselves does not know it.

3. You who are going through difficulties, you who are new members, what covenant must you hold on to?
So here, from Abraham to David, it went like this.
1) Abraham (“Leave Chaldea”) – a witness who removes the curse from the family line.
What was it in Abraham’s time? You who are going through difficulties today, or perhaps you who are new members – what covenant did you hold? God said to Abraham, “Leave Chaldea.” Why has God called you? He has called you entirely as a witness to remove the curse from the family line. You must certainly remember this.
2) David (“14 generations to David”) – a witness who blocks the curse on the church.
“14 generations to David.” That is how it appeared. Do you know who David was? He was the first to complete the temple – a witness who completely blocked the curse on the church.
3) The Remnants of Babylon – witnesses who block the curse on future generations.
Here Babylon appears. What is Babylon? Even though they were taken captive to Babylon, those who held the covenant survived – that is the point. As you know, look at Daniel and his friends. Look at Esther. What does this mean? What you must hold on to now is this: God has called you as a witness to block the curse on future generations through you. Members, you must certainly remember this. And our new members must remember this. And those who are perhaps going through difficulties must remember this.
4) The early church – witnesses who block the curse of the age.
And so God called them entirely as the early church that blocks the curse of the age.

▣ Main_ You must stand in three lines.
Looking at this passage, you need to stand in three lines today.

1. God has placed me in the line of the originator through whom He shines His light. He has called me as the originator of the gospel.
This is the first. I stand in the line of the originator through whom God shines His light.
1) Abraham
God spoke to Abraham. “Leave Chaldea, which was given to idolatry and headed for ruin. Go to the land I will show you.” And then He spoke of 5 blessings.
(1) Covenantal blessing
“Go to the land I will show you.” What is it? The covenantal blessing.
(2) Foundational blessing
“You shall be a source of blessing.” Through you. The foundational blessing.
(3) Representative blessing
“Through you.” The representative blessing.
(4) Monumental blessing
“All nations will be blessed.” The monumental blessing.
(5) Irresistible blessing
“Absolutely no one will be able to overcome you.” The irresistible blessing. Through you. You must believe it. The reason He called you is that He called you as the originator of blessing.

Did I not give this testimony before? In Australia, you see, the Mackenzie family went to Vanuatu and then came to Korea to do missions. In Korea back in those days, they came to Busan. Because women were dying in childbirth, the very first thing they established was ‘Ilsin Women’s Hospital.’ It is still there today. It is called ‘Ilsin Christian Hospital.’ On the hill above it, they built a church. They established a church called ‘Ilsin Church.’ Our family attended there. Is that not remarkable? That we went to a church built by foreigners, on that hillside neighborhood – that is where we went. That is where our mother began to believe in Jesus. And in our family, our maternal uncle began to believe in Jesus. What was the result? We are now going to that country to preach the gospel, you see? That Mackenzie missionary was Australian. Now we are going to Australia to preach the gospel. You must certainly remember this. You are a witness who has received the blessing of the originator. You stand in that line.
2) Jochebed
Jochebed, knowing this, saved a nation through Moses.
3) David
Here now, David appeared, and God blocked many wars through David. You must always remember this. The first reason God called me is that He called me as the originator who saves the gospel family line.

2. He has placed you in the line of witnesses who save the family line and completely transform it.
This is the second. You must certainly remember it. The reason He called you is that He placed you in the important line of witnesses who save the family line. It is not only the blessing of the originator. You stand in the line of witnesses who completely transform the family line. How do you transform it? You must start from now.
1) When you pray, the Triune God works through the Spirit.
You who are saved through Christ – from now on when you pray, the Triune God is set to work through the Spirit invisibly and give you power. That woman prayed while serving rice, and a work happened in her family, did it not?
2) When you pray, He works through the 9 blessings of the heavenly throne.
When you begin to hold this covenant and pray, God has established you as a kind of witness – one through whom the 9 blessings of the heavenly throne work.
3) When you pray, He has prepared answers that will save 3 ages.
Pray from today. When you pray, God has prepared answers that will save 3 ages. God has called me as the originator of faith. Always remember: God has called me as a witness to save the family line.

3. God has called me as a witness to save future generations and the future (Matthew 1:17).
This is the third. God has called me as a witness to save future generations and the future. Here is the evidence. Now, 14 generations, 14 generations, 14 generations – how many years is that? It is speaking of the whole of Israel.
1) Overcoming Egypt is the gospel.
Even though you feel like you are going through difficulties right now, overcoming Egypt is the gospel.
2) Overcoming the Philistines is the gospel.
Even though it seems like you are going through difficulties right now, completely overcoming the nation of the Philistines is the gospel.
3) Overcoming Babylon, Assyria, and Rome is the gospel.
Even though it seems like you are going through difficulties, overcoming Babylon, Assyria, and Rome too is the gospel.

You are a witness to save future generations. We are explaining three things. As we speak of the secret of Christ that runs through this genealogy, those who know it see three things. He called us as the originator; He called us to save the family line; He called us to save future generations and the future. How remarkable a thing is this? If you hold this covenant and pray, answers will come.

So then my maternal uncle came to believe in Jesus – he believed from when he was a student. My maternal uncle is still alive. He is a person who is far more handsome and much more educated than I am, doing a great gospel movement. He is someone who evangelizes the entire world.

Through his first and second year of high school, he used to hide his Bible and go to church. Because of all the opposition. One day a strong impression came to his heart. ‘Can I keep hiding it instead of evangelizing my mother?’ He finished the worship service and took his Bible and went straight to the house. His grandmother was a fearsome grandmother, somewhat like a shaman – when she saw it she said, “What is that?” He opened the Bible – the cover was red. “What is that?” “What, can’t you tell by looking? It’s a Bible.” “Are you going to church?” “I am.” “Since when did you go?” “I’ve already been going. Did you only find out now?” He was afraid. The grandmother immediately grabbed him by the collar and dragged him, saying, “Let’s go to the pastor.” “How dare you lure away someone else’s son…” She was dragging him to the church. That grandmother was extremely strong. She could fight a man and win. At that point, our uncle said: “I can do anything for my mother. There is one thing I cannot do.” “What is it?” “I am a child of God – I cannot abandon this and tell my mother that I love her without believing in God. That is not something I can do. It is not I who must stop – it is my mother who must stop. My mother must come to church. This one thing I cannot do. I am a saved child of God.” The grandmother was beside herself. She could not get through to him by words, you see? From that point on, earnest prayer began. So he thought, ‘I need to leave home for a while.’ He found what he thought was the best solution and entered the Air Force Academy. If he went there he could leave home, you see? There he prayed intensely.

He prayed while training at the Academy. He prayed even after becoming a soldier. ‘Yes, I need to become a pastor.’ When he tried to go to seminary, it turned out that no one from the Academy had ever gone to seminary. Our uncle was the first. He became a pastor. So he preached the gospel intensely in the military and everywhere he went, and his rank rose, and so on.

One day when he was attending to the President, a brief time was set aside for a message. This was during the time of President Park Chung-hee. They told him, “Don’t talk about Jesus, don’t talk about Christ – speak only about the nation. Just say things to bless the country.” “Understood.” Our uncle went out and immediately began talking about Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ who delivered our nation. Christ through whom our nation must evangelize the world. Christ who saves and blesses our nation. He kept talking only about Christ, it is said.

When it was all over, as he came out he shook hands, you see? The President shook his hand and said, “Ha, today I heard such precious words.” At that moment when they shook hands, he was about to say, ‘Mr. President, if you do not believe in Jesus you will go to hell,’ but he stopped himself. Through all of this, our grandmother completely received the gospel and was transformed.

▷ The prayer of one saved person surpasses all imagination.
The prayer of one person among you – a saved person – surpasses all imagination. In any work of history, testimony has come forth.

▷ Where am I? I must check.
Where am I? I must check. If I am within the unfolding of God’s work, there is nothing more to be thankful for than that. Do you know why Paul was thankful? It was not that he was thankful to be in prison – being in prison was an opportunity to testify of this gospel to the Jews, an opportunity to preach the gospel to the Roman emperor. That is why he went to prison. He was thankful, genuinely. His thankfulness was not mere thankfulness. If you are within God’s amazing work, that is true thankfulness.

▣ Conclusion_ Save those who have fallen into darkness and lost their way.
Now, let me draw this to a close. This is something you must always know.

1. Great powers – the great powers are devouring the whole world, completely fallen into darkness. Go there and prove this covenant.
Why was it from Egypt to Babylon, to Rome, like that? It is to save those who have fallen into darkness and lost their way. The great powers are devouring the whole world – they are completely fallen into darkness. That is right, is it not? Ultimately, they were destroyed. Go there and prove this covenant.

2. People fallen into idolatry – many people are dying, fallen into the path of destruction, into idolatry. He has sent you there to prove the power of God.
Many people are going down the path of destruction. They are dying, fallen into idolatry.

From my perspective, the most convenient country in the world, among those I have visited, is Japan. When you actually live there it is the most convenient. What would happen if the idol culture of that nation were broken down? They do not know. Because of the idol culture, spiritual problems have come upon the whole nation.

The more you look, the more enormous America is – but right now it is completely fallen into calamity because of three groups. Our Remnants – when you go to America or Europe, absolutely do not be deceived by friends who do drugs. They are completely fallen into drugs. Do not be deceived. For our Remnants, I want you to know that the methods of giving drugs are various. They even make them into snacks. You will be deceived. It will be a disaster. They are completely fallen into darkness and have lost their way. He has sent you there to prove the power of God. You must firmly hold this covenant.

3. Who am I?
Today, who are you? Always remember this.
1) The originator of the gospel.
God has called me as the originator of the gospel. No help needed. He has called you as the originator. You must remember this.
2) A witness who saves the family line.
He has called you as a witness to save the family line.
3) A witness who saves the world and future generations.
He has called you as a witness to save the world and future generations.

▷ The Bible is a book of testimony. History has testified to it. It has been summarized and explained in Matthew chapter 1. Hold on to the certain testimony.

Pastor Kim Dae-yong, whom we have been doing evangelism together with for a long time – his family is now going far out to the Ganghwa area to start there. They must go with the same mindset and do it. In that area, around Yeongjongdo, there are almost no churches preaching the gospel. Always remember – no other help is needed. I am the originator through whom God works. Going there to be a witness who transforms the family lines of the disciples living there and transforms future generations – this is the book of testimony. History has testified to it. That is what has been summarized and explained right here in chapter 1. There is nothing more than this. Hold firmly to the certain testimony. I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus that today will be a day of blessing in which believers across the nation and the world receive strength. Let us pray.

Prayer. Lord, please let us know the secret of the gospel. Without the gospel, the whole world has fallen into calamity. Even churches are not preaching the gospel and are teaching the things of the world. Please let us become witnesses who save those who are dying in darkness through the gospel alone. The Blessing of 24

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

What fills your mind and heart 24 hours a day, seven days a week? What occupies your thoughts when no one is watching? What do you return to again and again in moments of pressure, disappointment, and uncertainty? The answer to these questions will largely determine the direction of your life and future.

If your heart is dominated by old scars, bitterness, anger, fear, and unbelief 24/7, those things will eventually shape your decisions, relationships, and outlook on life. Left unchecked, they will lead to discouragement and destruction. But if the Word of God’s grace fills your heart 24/7, you will find strength, wisdom, and victory regardless of your circumstances. God’s Word transforms the way we see and respond to life.

Our circumstances often reveal the true condition of our faith. When difficulties arise, what comes out of us exposes what has been stored within us. Actions rooted in unbelief bring confusion and destruction, while actions rooted in faith lead to life, salvation, and God’s guidance. God desires that we trust Him and His power in every situation, not merely when things are going well.

When we face crises, our standard must be God and His Word. The moment we begin to interpret our circumstances through our own understanding, emotions, or experiences, we will lose sight of God’s purpose and promises. Consider the Israelites standing before the Red Sea:

“As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord” (Exodus 14:10).

Why were they terrified? Because all they could see was Pharaoh’s army advancing toward them. Their eyes were fixed on the problem rather than on God. As fear filled their hearts, they began to blame Moses:

“Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!” (Exodus 14:11-12).

Fear, discouragement, despair, blame, complaint, and unbelief became their response. Rather than remembering God’s covenant and mighty works, they returned to memories of their former bondage. Their hearts remained in Egypt even though their bodies had left.

Moses stood in the same situation. He saw the same sea, the same enemy, and the same danger. Yet he saw something that no one else saw—the sovereign hand of God at work. He spoke faith-filled words rooted in God’s covenant:

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm, and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still” (Exodus 14:13-14).

Moses did not focus on the crisis before him but on the God who was with him. He believed that his life was in God’s hands. He trusted the God who had already demonstrated His power through the plagues in Egypt. Above all, he believed in God’s covenant and His promise to bring His people into the land He had prepared for them through the coming Messiah.

The crossing of the Red Sea became a dividing line between faith and unbelief. The people of unbelief complain, regret, and blame 24/7. The people of faith seek God’s purpose and experience His power 24/7.

The people of unbelief live in fear, anxiety, and constant uncertainty. The people of faith stand before God in quiet confidence and experience His peace regardless of their circumstances.

The people of unbelief look to the world for answers. The people of the covenant wait expectantly for what God is about to do, even in the midst of impossible situations.

This is why our faith in the gospel must be more than mere words or religious knowledge. The Apostle Paul said that the gospel came “not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction” (1 Thessalonians 1:5). Only this kind of faith can overcome the world: “Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God” (1 John 5:5).

Our continual trust in our heavenly Father makes all the difference. Faith opens our spiritual eyes so that we may see our lives from God’s perspective rather than our own. Faith does not guarantee that everything will happen according to our desires. Rather, it enables us to seek God’s will and trust His wisdom in every situation.

Remember that nothing happens by accident in the life of one whom God has chosen. Even difficult circumstances are not wasted. God uses all things for His purpose. Paul testified, “What has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel” (Philippians 1:12). What seemed like setbacks became opportunities for God’s kingdom.

The same is true for you. God has brought specific people into your life so that they may encounter Christ through you. He has allowed certain situations so that the gospel may be proclaimed where Christ is not known. He is leading you into a life that increasingly exalts Christ in everything you do, say, and experience.

Therefore, enjoy God who dwells within you 24/7 (1 Corinthians 3:16). Enjoy God who is with us 24/7, Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14). Enjoy God who works all things together for your good 24/7 (Romans 8:28).

When you live in this reality, rejoicing becomes possible in every season. Prayer becomes natural. Thanksgiving becomes your response in all circumstances. This is the life of worship 24/7—a life centered not on changing circumstances but on the unchanging presence of God.

Prayer. Father, thank You for being with me 24/7. Open my eyes to see every circumstance through Your Word and promises. Help me not to be controlled by fear, scars, or unbelief, but by faith in Your covenant. Teach me to enjoy Your presence, trust Your guidance, and experience Your power every day. May my life become a testimony that exalts Christ in all things. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Re-creating Power of God

2 Corinthians 5:17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Jesus did not come merely to change our behavior or improve our way of life. He did not come simply to make our circumstances better or meet only our emotional and physical needs. Nor did He come to establish another religion for people to follow.

He came to make us new.

Jesus came to re-create us and give us new birth. To accomplish this, He went to the cross and died in our place. When He died, we died with Him. When He rose from the dead, we were raised with Him into a new life.

Because of what Christ has done, God placed us “in Christ” when we believed that Jesus is the Christ. Through Him, God adopted us into His family as His beloved children (Ephesians 1:5). He did not leave us in the family of the devil but rescued us and brought us into His own household.

Scripture declares that everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God (1 John 5:1). This means that you now have a completely new identity. Your failures cannot change it. Your weaknesses cannot erase it. The opinions of others cannot redefine it. Your name is written in the Book of Life, and no one can remove it.

The Holy Spirit Himself continually testifies that you are a child of God (Romans 8:16). God delights in you and rejoices over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17). He watches over you with eyes like blazing fire (Revelation 19:12), never losing sight of your life or your future.

Like a loving Father, He bends down to listen to your prayers (Psalm 116:2). He gives the greatest gift to His children, the Holy Spirit, every time they cry out (Luke 11:11–13). Jesus promised that no one can snatch you out of the Father’s hand (John 10:29). Therefore, do not allow your circumstances, your emotions, your achievements, or your failures to define who you are. Do not be deceived by the lies of the world or the accusations of the devil. You are precious to God.

Because you belong to Christ, you now have a new freedom. You are no longer under the dominion of your former master, the devil. Through Christ, you have been completely set free from the law of sin and death by the law of the Spirit of life (Romans 8:2). The chains have been broken. The prison door has been opened.

God has already declared you holy and blameless in His sight through Christ (Ephesians 1:4). Since God Himself has justified you, no accusation can ultimately stand against you (Romans 8:33). Satan may accuse, and your conscience may condemn, but God’s verdict is greater than every voice that rises against you.

Therefore, stop dwelling on the past. It is finished. Jesus carried your sins to the cross and paid for them completely. Your guilt has been removed. Your shame has been covered. Your condemnation has been canceled. The record of your sins has been wiped away by His blood.

The victory that Christ won over sin, death, and Satan is now your victory. His righteousness has become your righteousness forever (2 Corinthians 5:21). Claim that freedom today. Walk in it. Enjoy it. Give thanks for it.

Not only do you have a new identity and a new freedom, but you also have a new purpose. The Holy Spirit empowers you to stop living merely for yourself and to begin living for Christ, who died and rose again for you (2 Corinthians 5:15). Your life is no longer centered on personal success, comfort, or recognition. It is centered on God’s kingdom and His eternal plan.

Seek Christ first. Seek the kingdom of God. Depend on the power of the Holy Spirit. As you do, you will experience the blessing of uniqueness. You will see what others cannot see. You will discover opportunities others overlook. You will go where others refuse to go and accomplish what others believe is impossible because God is working through you.

Through the re-creating power of the Holy Spirit, go to your family, workplace, school, community, and even to the ends of the earth as a witness of Christ (Acts 1:8). Wherever darkness reigns, bring the light of the gospel. Wherever people are bound, proclaim the freedom found in Christ. Wherever there is despair, reveal the hope of God’s kingdom.

May God use your life to transform today’s culture of darkness into a culture of light through the power of the gospel.

Prayer. Father, thank You for making me a new creation in Christ. Help me to live according to my new identity, enjoy the freedom You have given me, and fulfill the purpose for which You saved me. May Your re-creating power be evident everywhere I go, bringing the light of Christ into places of darkness and turning a culture of darkness into a culture of light. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Blessing of Uniqueness

Acts 11:19-21. Now those who had been scattered by the persecution that broke out when Stephen was killed traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, spreading the word only among Jews. ²⁰Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus. ²¹The Lord’s hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.

The Bible says that you have been uniquely created: “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27). You were created in the image of God with purpose and value that no one can take away.

The Bible also says that you have been uniquely blessed: “God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground‘” (Genesis 1:28).

Before humanity accomplished anything, God blessed them. His desire was not merely for people to survive but to thrive, multiply, and reveal His glory throughout the earth.

You have also been uniquely chosen: “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you” (John 15:16).

Your salvation, calling, and mission did not begin with your decision. They began with God’s eternal plan. Long before you knew Him, He knew you, chose you, and prepared good works for you to accomplish.

And you have been uniquely sent: “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.‘” (Matthew 28:18-20).

Every child of God has a mission. The Lord who sends us also promises to be with us wherever we go. Because the gospel God has revealed to you is unique, you will see what others cannot see, go where others will not go, and do what others cannot do.

Peter and John saw something that everyone else missed in the beggar sitting at the temple gate (Acts 3:1-12). While others saw a man who needed money, they saw a soul bound by a deeper problem. They recognized the spiritual reality behind his suffering and offered him what silver and gold could never provide—the name of Jesus Christ. Through the gospel, the man was saved, healed, and restored.

Philip saw God’s heart for Samaria (Acts 8:4-8). Most Jews wanted nothing to do with Samaritans. Yet Philip remembered the Lord’s covenant in Acts 1:8, where Jesus specifically mentioned Samaria, and he went where others refused to go. He proclaimed Christ in Samaria, and the city was transformed. Demons were driven out, many were healed, and “there was great joy in that city” (Acts 8:8).

Paul saw what others failed to see in Macedonia (Acts 16:6-10). Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he recognized an open door for the gospel and crossed into Europe. His life’s ambition was to “preach the gospel where Christ was not known” (Romans 15:20). He entered synagogues, cities, and regions that many avoided, explaining and proving that Jesus was the Christ (Acts 17:1; 18:4; 19:8).

Paul’s covenant journey did not stop there. He continued to hold firmly to God’s vision throughout his life. Even when imprisoned, beaten, opposed, and misunderstood, he never lost sight of God’s promise concerning Rome (Acts 19:21; 23:11; 27:24). Eventually, he arrived in Rome and fulfilled the mission God had prepared for him:

“For two whole years, Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!” (Acts 28:30-31).

May God open our eyes to see what He wants us to see before others see it. May He stir our hearts to go wherever He sends us and to do whatever He calls us to do.

Even after Stephen’s martyrdom and the persecution that followed, many believers still did not understand God’s heart for the Gentiles. They scattered throughout various regions, but “none of them preached the word except to Jews only” (Acts 11:19).

Yet a few believers from Cyprus and Cyrene saw beyond traditional boundaries. They arrived in Antioch and “began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus” (Acts 11:20).

While others focused only on their own people, trapped by nationalism and prejudice, these believers saw God-ordained opportunities. God used ordinary believers who were willing to cross boundaries to reach people whom others had ignored.

The result was extraordinary: “The Lord’s hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord” (Acts 11:21). A church was born in Antioch—a church that would do what no other church had done before:

“Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers … While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’ So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off” (Ac 13:1-3)

The church in Antioch desired to do what the Holy Spirit wanted. Instead of holding on to their most gifted leaders, they obeyed God’s voice and sent them into the mission field. Humanly speaking, it may have seemed like a loss. Spiritually, however, it was the beginning of one of the greatest mission movements in history.

Wherever Paul and his mission team went, they witnessed the blessing of uniqueness—the advancing kingdom of God. They saw lives transformed, communities restored, and the gospel accomplish what no human effort could achieve.

In Philippi, a slave girl who had been tormented by an evil spirit was set free through the authority of Jesus Christ. A Roman jailer who had been moments away from taking his own life heard the gospel and was saved along with his entire household. Lydia opened her home, and a church was established there (Acts 16:13-40). What began as a small mission journey became the foundation of God’s work in Europe.

In Ephesus, Paul taught daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus, investing himself in raising disciples and proclaiming the Word of God. What appeared to be an ordinary teaching ministry became a movement that impacted an entire region. As the gospel spread, people turned away from idolatry, and lives were changed:

“This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord … the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power” (Acts 19:10, 20).

This is the blessing of uniqueness. When God’s people hold on to His covenant and follow His leading, they become channels through which His kingdom is revealed.

God has called you to enjoy the blessing of your uniqueness, which He prepared long ago. His plan for your life is not ordinary. He has placed you in your family, workplace, school, church, and mission field for a reason.

Do not settle for the temporary things of the world. Continue to enjoy Christ, the kingdom of God, and the filling of the Holy Spirit. These are the eternal blessings that no circumstance can take away.

Forget what lies behind and press on toward what God has prepared ahead. Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow has not yet come. Today is the day God has given you. Today matters. Confirm the Word God has given you today, and hold on to it in prayer.

Because you are a precious child of God, His blessing of uniqueness is hidden within every circumstance, every meeting, every problem, every conflict, and every crisis. What may appear ordinary to others may be God’s prepared answer for you. Discover it. Experience it. Enjoy it. Then share it with others.

Prayer. Father, open my eyes to see what You want me to see. Lead me to the places You want me to go and help me do the work You have prepared for me. Thank You for creating me with purpose, choosing me by Your grace, and giving me the blessing of uniqueness through the gospel. Help me to enjoy Christ, the kingdom of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit every day. May my life become a channel through which Your kingdom is revealed to the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Only One Thing to Know

1 Corinthians 2:1-2. And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. ²For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

Some say that the gospel is not inclusive. They struggle to accept the claim that there is only one way to God. In a world that values tolerance and pluralism, many prefer to believe that all religions are essentially the same—different paths leading to the same destination, all seeking salvation through good works, moral living, or spiritual effort.

Paul wrote this letter to the believers in Corinth, a city filled with competing philosophies, idol worship, and religious pluralism. The people of Corinth were accustomed to many gods and many ways of worship. Yet Paul’s message was unmistakably clear: there is only one Savior—Jesus Christ.

Paul was not an ignorant or narrow-minded man. He was one of the most educated scholars of his day, trained under the renowned teacher Gamaliel. He possessed exceptional knowledge, eloquence, and human wisdom. If anyone could have argued for a sophisticated religious system based on human achievement, it was Paul.

Yet everything changed when he encountered the risen Lord Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus. On his way to persecute those who followed “the Way,” Paul came face to face with the One he had rejected. From that moment on, he realized that all his accomplishments, credentials, and religious zeal were worthless compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ (Philippians 3:8). He concluded that the only knowledge that truly mattered was the knowledge of Jesus Christ—His death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead.

What caused such a dramatic transformation?

By the grace of God, Paul came to understand the fundamental problem of the human race. He realized that humanity’s condition was far more serious than ignorance, poverty, injustice, or lack of education. Behind every problem stood the spiritual realities of Satan (Revelation 12:9), original sin (Romans 3:23), and separation from God (Genesis 3:1-6). No amount of human effort, religion, morality, or philosophy could solve these problems.

At the same time, Paul discovered that the entire Old Testament pointed to one person—Jesus Christ. He was the offspring of the woman who would crush the serpent’s head (Genesis 3:15). He was the true Ark through whom humanity could escape judgment (Genesis 6:14). He was the reason God called Abraham and promised blessing to all nations (Genesis 12:1-3). He was the ultimate sacrifice foreshadowed throughout the sacrificial system (Exodus 3:18). He was Immanuel, “God with us” (Isaiah 7:14).

For Paul, the Scriptures suddenly became clear. What had once been hidden was now revealed. Every promise, prophecy, sacrifice, and covenant pointed to Jesus of Nazareth as the Christ.

He also understood why, on the Mount of Transfiguration, Moses and Elijah disappeared while Jesus remained (Matthew 17:1-8). The Law and the Prophets had fulfilled their purpose by pointing to Christ. Only Jesus remained because only Jesus is the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan. Paul had finally found his True Prophet who reveals God, his True Priest who reconciles sinners to God, and his True King who defeats Satan and reigns forever.

Then Peter’s bold confession before the Sanhedrin made perfect sense: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Out of all the people, Paul could not forget Stephen. He had witnessed Stephen’s unwavering faith and had approved of his execution. Yet even as Stephen was being stoned to death, he remained confident in Christ. Looking back, Paul understood why Stephen was willing to die. Stephen had discovered something worth more than life itself—Jesus Christ (Acts 6:8-8:1).

Once Paul realized that Jesus was indeed the Christ, his life could never be the same. Everywhere he traveled, he reasoned with people from the Scriptures, “explaining and proving that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead. ‘This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ,’ he said” (Acts 17:3).

His message never changed. Whether speaking to Jews or Gentiles, scholars or laborers, rulers or prisoners, Paul proclaimed only one message: “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2).

More importantly, he lived what he preached: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

Having discovered the One thing that truly mattered, Paul considered everything else secondary. His personal ambitions, comfort, reputation, and even his life itself became insignificant compared to the mission God had entrusted to him. As he testified:

“I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace” (Acts 20:24).

This does not mean that Christians no longer need food, shelter, relationships, work, or other blessings. Rather, it means that when we have Christ, we possess the source and substance of every true blessing. As Paul wrote, Christ is “the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:2-3).

This is why Jesus gently corrected Martha when she was consumed with many concerns:

“‘Martha, Martha,’ the Lord answered, ‘you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her‘” (Luke 10:41-42).

The Lord desires to be the only One at the center of our lives, not because He needs anything from us, but because He knows what we truly need. He alone can satisfy the deepest longings of the human heart. Everything else can be lost, but what Christ gives can never be taken away.

Prayer. Father, like Paul, I resolve to know nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Open my eyes to see that Christ is the fulfillment of all Your promises and the answer to every fundamental problem of life. May You be the center of my thoughts, my desires, and my purpose. Let the proclamation of the gospel become the reason I live. Help me treasure Christ above all things and faithfully testify to Your grace wherever You send me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
