Evangelism Reproduction

2025.10.19 District Message 42nd Week
Scripture Reading: Acts 2:41

▣ Introduction: When we meet people, we first analyze who this person is. If we do not know that, we will miss many things. Every time we receive God’s Word, we must know exactly, ‘What kind of blessing is this time to receive?’

Although all worship is important, today in our cell group lesson we are looking at the answer that a woman disciple named Tabitha received in that region.

Acts 10:1–6
How important is this time? God called Peter in order to save Cornelius. Where did He call him? He called him at the house of Simon the tanner.
Also, as Paul was on the road, God Himself called Paul—but where did He call him? He called him beside Ananias, a church leader who knew the covenant. You must look at the Word now while seeing such a field with your heart and spiritually.

Acts 16:15
The blessing you will receive, holding to this covenant, is the house of Lydia.

Acts 17:6
The house of Jason.

1 Corinthians 16:19
Priscilla and the church in their house.

The message that shows such blessings is the cell group lesson. It is also the regional church message. You only need to keep that covenant in mind.
Now, in the midst of that, when we listen to people’s words, unbelief keeps arising, right? When you are sick and go to the hospital, you will listen to what the doctor says. You should listen carefully and accurately to what the doctor says, right? But if you are not careful, you become anxious. Doctors keep giving warnings in order to help you. But if you are not careful, you become anxious. If you are not careful, unbelief can arise in you. Some of them believe in God, but those who do not believe do not know the spiritual things. They do not know what happens in the body when you truly gain spiritual strength. Therefore, when you worship and receive the Word, you must listen to God’s Word with an earnest heart. Perhaps in the cell group, elders may give the message. But we often try to listen to the elders’ words; we must listen to God’s Word through the elders. That is why among those who have attended that church for a long time, the reason they fail without faith is because it sounds to them like people’s words.

So then, what is the best thing that we most tangibly feel? Right now, people of many nations have come. This is something like a miracle. Because among them there are people like the Priscilla couple. Among them there are also people like the Ethiopian eunuch. Also, our new family members will now receive the Word. Among them there may be someone like Paul. And among many remnants, there are those who will change the world. What is the greatest answer for them? It is not bad for them to think of you: “Ah, that person is truly excellent.” Not bad. “Ah, that person knows a lot.” Not bad. “Ah, that person seems to have a lot of money.” Not bad. But what is the real thing? “Ah, seeing that person, God is with them.”

An unbeliever became a believer and wrote an article. Reading that article made me think a lot. His close friend got cancer and contacted him. He says he helped in any way he could. But the cancer recurred. He tried to help again in any way he could, but sadly the friend passed away. Yet there, this unbeliever was deeply moved and began to believe in Jesus. As I was reading, I thought, “Ah, perhaps his friend miraculously recovered,” but no—what he saw was an immense peace, and how deeply his friend held to the covenant. In a moment, what did he feel? “Ah, this person truly has God with him.” He wrote down what he felt.
What is the best answer when you go to the field? “Ah, that person has God with him.” “Ah, he is a worker of Christ. He is one entrusted with the mysteries of God.” In 1 Corinthians 4:1–2 it says, “A man should regard us…” It should be “God should,” yet it says “a man should.” What does that mean? It means that when people see you, they should feel, “Ah, he is one who has the mystery of Christ. Ah, this person is one entrusted with God’s mysteries.” If they sense this, you have reached the highest point.

From this point on, evangelism begins to happen continuously. If, through you, the movement of evangelism reproduction continues to arise and the movement of life continues to arise, this becomes the greatest answer. Thus remnants and people of many nations and all important people will come to see these parts.

▣ Introduction
So then, briefly in the introduction, it is recorded:

1. The blessing of bearing fruit
When we meet remnants and when we meet people of many nations, we must let them know what the true blessing of bearing fruit is for others. It does not end there; what is the blessing of bearing fruit? This is extremely important. You teach a remnant, the remnant revives, gains the strength of prayer, and comes to life—this is important. You are working at your workplace; though you did not say anything special, God’s works begin to arise inside the workplace. There is no greater blessing than this.

2. Reproduction
At such times, the movement of reproduction arises.

3. World evangelization
World evangelization takes place.
It may seem like nothing, but when even one of you enjoys the blessing of Immanuel, reproduction arises. World evangelization takes place.
Now then, there is one thing we must surely teach. And there is one thing you must surely feel.

[ John 14:16, John 14:26, John 16:13, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1–47 ]
Jesus Himself said, “I will ask the Father, and when I go, the Helper, the Holy Spirit, will be with you.” “This Holy Spirit will make you understand all things.” He is invisible. Not only will He make you understand all things, He will be with you forever. You must enjoy such blessings. “When you are filled with this Holy Spirit, power arises.”

This is truly worth believing. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, authority arises. No one else can say this to you. But in fact, this is needed. If you are sick, will that doctor do 24 for you, for just one person—you? He cannot. If you are in difficulties, can your family solve it for you? They cannot. As we live, so many hard and difficult things arise. Knowing this, Jesus spoke while looking to the future: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.” Jesus said it. You must pray that prayer now: “God, during my worship today, fill me with the Holy Spirit.” Then everything begins to come to life. The actual evidence came to the Mark’s upper room. No matter how weak the ones who gathered were, it did not matter. God’s power came upon them.

What you must hold as your covenant in this week’s cell group and regional church is this: if power comes upon you, that region will live. If you believe now, answers come. “Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” I did not understand that before. In the end, I saw that the person who had this faith received that answer.

▣ Main Message: 300% (Only) – Concentration
So then, how can we do this completely? How can we possibly speak of 300%? We ask this a lot. But Jesus taught us: only. You do not need to do other things—only. Do not do the wrong things—only.

And this word only contains three tremendous things. Limited concentration. Is there anything else to do? Concentrate on what is important—only the Holy Spirit. You must surely do this on Sunday and then go and teach it in the field: only. For you to experience the power God gives, only. Nothing else is needed. Chosen concentration—what God has given. This does not mean you never do other things. Oneness concentration. You must have such time.

When I prayed like this, what experience came to me? No experience came to me. But that is more normal. Some say they concentrated and even fainted. That could happen. I have never fainted. Some say that while praying their whole body began to tremble. That is not bad. I have never trembled. Which is more correct? I do not know, but answers surely come. From that time until now I have enjoyed the blessing of world evangelization. Then that is enough. Nothing else is particularly needed. If the blessing of world evangelization has come upon your work, then in fact it is finished. Right? If the blessing sufficient for world evangelization has come upon a remnant’s studies, then in fact it is finished. Right? That is 300%. This is not my idea. Jesus said that when you receive only the fullness of the Holy Spirit, you will receive power and be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. For those who have evidence, few words are necessary. If the blessing of Immanuel comes upon you, there is little to explain. You must surely enjoy it—concentration. Only.

1. The secret
Then, before evangelism, what is this secret? What must we set as only? We should now know.

1) Christ, the Kingdom, the Holy Spirit (1, 3, 8)
First: Christ. Acts 1:1. The Kingdom of God. Only the Holy Spirit. This is 1, 3, 8. Concentrate on this. Nothing else will work. Other things do not work. Set only in the name of Christ. Then answers invisible to your eyes come first—the Kingdom of God, the work of the Holy Spirit. These come first.

2) Bartizan, journey, guidepost
From this time, what begins to come? A bartizan is made. This is extremely important. It is invisible. A bartizan is made; with that bartizan you go on the journey; and there you set the guideposts.

3) Reproduction
From this time, it begins to happen—the work of reproduction in your work, the work of reproduction in your studies, the work of reproduction in evangelism. It arises.

2. Evangelism
Then what is 300% reproduction evangelism? We must teach it. There are five points.

1) The upper room
The upper room discovered with only.

2) Team ministry
When you meet people, you must tell them this evidence—team ministry.

3) M.H
Right? The Kingdom of God comes upon your home—Mission Home.

4) Specialized ministry
There is no need to start with evangelism first. Wait for God’s works to arise in your workplace and in your work—this is the so-called specialized ministry, specialized church.

5) Regional church
Because of you, light will shine on a region—regional church.
You must enjoy this 300% of evangelism. Since you already have the secret, you are witnesses.

3. The timetable
Then limitations keep coming to us—the timetable of God. As you grow older, limitations may come—the timetable of God.

1) Public ministry → Jewish thought
During His public ministry, what did Jesus teach? He constantly taught something important: to go beyond human thinking—go beyond Jewish thought. That is what Jesus taught in His public ministry. Go beyond Jewish thought. The Sabbath is not a day of doing nothing—it is a day of saving people. Right? Even Zacchaeus the tax collector—if he returns to God’s Word—he is God’s child. And know correctly what blessing is—the eight blessings. Prayer is not what you think; He taught what surpasses.

2) Calvary, Mt Olive, Mark’s upper room → the crowds → the disciples
After that He led them to Calvary, Mt Olive, and Mark’s upper room. Right? What is this? Go beyond what the crowds do. It is not the crowds; it is the disciples. Thus, it is not Jewish thought; it is the thought of saving the world.

3) Antioch
And after that, Antioch. Why did those who possessed Mark’s upper room go to Cornelius? It is not that kind of thinking. It is completely the thought of saving the world.
This may sound slightly complicated. Simply put: go beyond my thoughts. The reason is that God loves you more and blesses you. You may be shaken and limitations may come because you lack power, but God’s power has no limit.

▣ Conclusion
Thus you must raise three movements. You must believe now.

1. The life movement
Through you, the life movement arises. Do not be discouraged; hold to God’s Word.

2. The spirituality movement
Within you, the spirituality movement—the spiritual strength—arises.

3. The reproduction movement
Save others—the reproduction movement arises. You must surely keep this in mind.

People’s words can help you, but they can also bring you loss. Therefore, firmly and accurately hold to God’s Word now. This very time is the time of these people (Acts 9:36–43, Acts 10:1–6, Acts 16:15, Acts 17:6, 1 Corinthians 16:19). May you enjoy this answer, hold to the covenant, and, as you pray all day today, may it become a time to gain strength.

People do not understand well. “If you are filled with the Holy Spirit, does sickness get healed?” It does. Right? An enormous power that people do not know arises. This is science. In the past I thought, “Does that make sense? How can someone be healed by prayer? Does that make sense?” One day, truly, I could not understand it then—now I understand, but not then. In my family everyone received the gospel and believed in Jesus, except only my youngest aunt. When she met the others, her older sisters would speak to her, but she still did not believe. So, to put it another way, my mother and my aunts all believed well, but that one did not. One day she became sick. And the hospital spoke as if there was little hope. They said her kidneys had completely melted down. Only then did my aunt say, when my mother was going to a conference, “I want to go, too.” So the next day she was practically carried to the conference. Does this make sense? My aunt returned healed. “Strange. What is this?” She truly recovered, so much so that, unbelievably, she even threw away the medicine. Inside, because my mind works that way, I thought, “She will die later—that’s what will happen.” But she lived. Then I quietly thought about it and quietly thought about the Bible and said, “Ah, right—prayer is a science.” Right? Prayer revives our brain, revives our thoughts, revives spirit and body and all. But I had not thought of it that way.
Jesus said to the disciples who had no hope and were in difficulty, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be My witnesses in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” I came to believe that. So I said, “Ah, so that is how it was.”

Pray. Pray all day today. An even more important faith is this: “Whether it works or not has nothing to do with me—whether it is there or not has nothing to do with me.” Jesus said “only.” Without this answer, world evangelization cannot be done. I came to that conclusion: “Right—other things will not do.” “Just as John baptized with water”—that means John immersed in water. In that same way, when you are filled, it becomes power. May your remaining timetable become this timetable. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.

Prayer. Today, let us enjoy the power of the Triune God, who works invisibly. Let the power of the throne be fulfilled as the Kingdom of God. Though we worship here today, let the work of the Kingdom of God be accomplished. Let the darkness be driven out; let the disasters be bound; let sickness be driven out; and let every power of darkness retreat before the light. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

God’s True Plan is in a Different Place

2025.10.19 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 10:1-6

▣ Introduction: What should we do when we meet hardship, crisis, and failure?
Thank you. Today we must confirm what answer you absolutely need to take with you. There are times when many new family members ask like this. They are trying to live the life of faith, and then a great hardship suddenly rushes in on them. There are also people—not only new family members—who meet a crisis while living the life of faith. And some people face a great failure. What should we do at such times? Most people become pessimistic like this and respond in such a way. Some people simply stop coming to church, hide, try to avoid it, and just give up. There are many people like that. Some people, in a great crisis, even go so far as to take their own lives.

1. God’s plan is in a completely different place.
So what must you go and find today? God’s true plan is in another place. We must find that. So this is not something solved by giving up or by trying hard. God has another plan. We must find that. Most people give up. Others say, “I will fight to the end and win.” In truth, neither of the two is right.

1) Prayer is finding God’s plan.
God’s plan is in a completely different place. Finding this is prayer. Today you must find this answer. That is how you must respond when a problem comes; and if right now a problem has come to you, then it is an answer God has given—what kind of answer is it? It is something better.

2) God has prepared something better, something unimagined, something great.
Satan tries to give you something bad. God is trying to give you something better. It is even something you never imagined. And God prepares something greater. This is the first and most important path of answer in the Bible. It is a situation that is utterly beyond understanding.

2. Those who discovered God’s plan
Now then, the examples you know well will already be coming to mind.

1) The seven remnants
The seven remnants who moved the world were all like this.

(1) Joseph (family problem) – From the beginning, he had God’s true plan (the concrete answer of world evangelization) (Genesis 45:5).
For Joseph, problems arose starting right in the family. So among hardships, the hardest is the one that occurs in the family. How severely was Joseph attacked? They tried to kill him. In the era Joseph lived in, a person could kill you and bury you and no one would know. So while it is true that Joseph prayed much, he also knew that God’s true plan—His answer—was not in his own household but somewhere else. Fortunately, Joseph did not realize this later while he was living; he realized it from the beginning. Therefore he came to see the world completely differently. You must surely see this today. You must find this answer. The sun, moon, and stars bowing—he already had the concrete answer for world evangelization. He knew that God’s plan was not in the place where his brothers were talking, arguing, and rejoicing. So one day when the brothers were about to kill Joseph, they sold him instead. You cannot imagine how shocking that was. He ended up as the prime minister of Egypt. The brothers, shocked, trembled before Joseph. At that time Joseph said this: “You sold me, and I became prime minister”—is that what he should have said? He said, “It was not you who sold me. God sent me ahead to preserve life.” This means Joseph knew this. Therefore you, who are in great suffering now—there is no need to be discouraged. In the Bible and in history, it has always been so. You must hold to this covenant.

(2) Abraham and Moses who realized late, and Joseph, Samuel, and David who realized early
There are many examples, aren’t there? But they fall into two categories—those who realized late, and those who realized early. Abraham and Moses realized after quite some time. Joseph, Samuel, and David realized early.

※ If you do not find God’s true plan, you will continue to remain trapped in wounds and hardships.
Otherwise, you will remain trapped in your wounds and hardships. Today, without listening to anyone else, hold on to God’s Word and find what God’s true plan is for you. In fact, from that moment, answers come.

2) The heroes of faith in Hebrews chapter 11 – the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen
Hebrews chapter 11 gathers the heroes of faith. But if you read the beginning of chapter 11, it says this: “What is faith?” It asks. We do not yet possess it—“things hoped for.” And “things not seen.” That is what it says. Yet though it is hoped for, it is substance. Though you do not yet have it, you have the substance. Though it is not seen with the eyes, you have the evidence. Holding to that covenant, may today become an unforgettable day of blessing in your life, when you gain the strength to hold the covenant once again. I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus.

3) John Bunyan (16 years of imprisonment) – The Pilgrim’s Progress
As you know, John Bunyan, who received a sentence of 16 years in prison, found the answer. He discovered God’s tremendous plan. As you know, through the book The Pilgrim’s Progress, he carried out the work of changing the world from there.

3. How do we find God’s plan?
So then, today we ask: How do we find it?

1) The Early Church, though faced with hardships (the label of heresy, social severance, imprisonment, being chased, execution), overcame the Jews, Macedonia, and Rome.
The Early Church was placed amid enormous hardships. First, they were branded as heretics. Whenever the gospel—the true gospel—was proclaimed, this always happened: they were labeled as heretics. In a democratic nation, even if you are labeled a heretic it may not matter. But in an age of dictatorship, once you are branded a heretic, that is the end. You are cut off from the whole society. What then? Not only were they cut off; they were arrested and imprisoned. They were called heretics and then arrested and imprisoned. The one who went around zealously arresting them was Paul. And wherever they went, they were chased. It did not stop there—they were executed. What then? If these five things were applied to you, how would you act? I am very curious. If these five things came to me, what would I do? Yet the Early Church completely overcame the Jews. As you know, though they had no power, they overcame Macedonia. They even overcame Rome. That is certain. You must know this well. By that, all the answers will come to you. As I often say, by that, all the answers come.

2) Do not be wounded by difficulties, and do not just let them pass.
Among the families and elders around us, I have seen this. Because the times were so hard, there was poverty, disease, and tremendous suffering. You must not respond by being wounded by it or by just letting it pass. Do you understand? If remnants carry wounds, those wounds follow you for your whole life. You resent your parents, you are discouraged, and it follows you all your life, even until you grow old and die. This is important.

3) Do not be discouraged, do not take reckless courage, but find the answer within God’s covenant – worship and prayer.
Amazingly, by God’s grace, when I came to understand the gospel, I received the answer right there: “I will be a witness who proclaims the gospel to the sick, the poor, and those perishing without the gospel.” It is a little embarrassing to say, but from that time until now, this answer has continued to come. To be honest, the answer has come to the extent that I have no time to be sick and no time to think about anything else. If anything, I have sometimes thought, “I want to rest. I could use a break,” but otherwise, the work has continued without stopping.

Today, without looking at the person next to you, hold on to the Word and find that answer. You must. Otherwise you will suffer losses more unfair than you can imagine. I found it easily. I have visited many churches. I thought, “No, this is not it.” Today, seeing someone who received ordination as a pastor, I said such things. There were times I felt truly sad. I went to church to try to live the life of faith, and I saw many church leaders using words that were very dismissive of the church and of the pastor. It made me sad. Why do you come to church? Why do you offer worship? Then nothing will work. They live lives far from evangelism and die like that. I saw that. So I said to the person ordained today, “A pastor does not need to be respected, but he should not be despised, right?” And I said, “There is something else that is sad. Many church leaders worry that the ministers are so ineffective that the church does not work, that it is difficult, that the region is difficult. That is sad.” I said, “A servant of the Lord has no excuse. He must save unconditionally. He must save the region, save people, and save the church.” And that is what I saw. From there I found all the answers. It is not hard.

If you do not get discouraged, do not take foolish courage, and today find the answer within God’s covenant, then works will surely arise. In fact, we came to worship in order to do exactly this. We pray to see where God’s true blessing lies. I truly bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus that today will become an unforgettable day in your life.

▣ Main Message: Where is God’s plan?
※ God’s plan is not in Jewish zeal, the law, religion, feasts, or success.
The Jews, wielding much power, are persecuting—but Jewish zeal? No. The Jewish law? Religion? The feasts they kept to the end? The success the Jews speak of? God’s plan is not inside those things. That is why today something tremendous happened. In the house of Simon the tanner, a work arose. “Church leader”—the word “tanner” refers to a leather tradesman. Peter went to the house of Simon the tanner. Now, picture the scene in your mind for a moment. The house of Simon the tanner seems to have been something of a large home. Why? Because it was a house where evangelists, coming and going, could rest. He was a person of great calling. Peter stayed at that house. And while Peter was praying there, in a great vision, something happened. A work that changed the age took place. In the midst of heavy tribulation and suffering, the question is: Where is God’s plan?

1. The place where the original covenant is restored – the house of Simon the tanner
First, we must surely find this. God’s will lies in the place where the original covenant is restored. That was precisely the house of Simon the tanner, and that time.

1) Restoration of the original gospel
Simply put, it is restoring the original gospel God gave us—restoring the original gospel.

(1) Genesis 3:15 The Christ who will break the authority of Satan
“The seed of the woman will crush the serpent’s head.” “The Christ will come and break the authority of Satan who destroys you.” Enter into that.

(2) Genesis 6:14 The ark
“Come into the ark. Make an ark for yourself.”

(3) Exodus 3:18 The blood sacrifice
After several hundred years, God spoke to Moses: “Bring My people out and offer a blood sacrifice.”

(4) Isaiah 7:14 Immanuel – the greatest answer, the most necessary answer, the true success
After about a thousand years, He spoke again: “Raise the remnants. A virgin will conceive and bear a son, and you shall call His name Immanuel.”
What is the greatest answer for us? Immanuel. What is most needed for the remnants? Immanuel. Has your work truly succeeded? Immanuel. This is what He explained. And at each of these times, the works that blocked the seven disasters arose.

2) Restoration of the glory given to Abraham – It ended with building an altar while holding the covenant that through you and through your seed the nations will be blessed and none will be able to stand against you.
Thus the glory God gave to Abraham from the very beginning—God’s will is in restoring that. From the beginning God said to Abraham, “Through you the nations will be blessed.” He failed to find this. Because he did not find where God’s plan lay, Abraham kept facing hardships. The hardship is not the real problem; the problem is that he could not find the way. He went here and a problem arose; he went there and a crisis arose. Everywhere he went, there was no way. But it is not that there was no way. “Through you and through your seed the nations will be blessed, and I will make it so that no one can stand against you.” He held to this covenant and built an altar, but it ended there. May today be the day this is restored.

3) Establish a secret bartizan and live as a witness.
This morning at our breakfast meeting with the session, I met with those who were remnants and are now elders. When they were middle and high school students, they attended our remnant conferences, and now those remnants have become elders. So I said this: “From now on, establish a secret bartizan.” Church leaders are also successful figures—people who have passed the bar and other high exams. “Those who are successful must have a secret. You must build that bartizan. And then you will stand as witnesses.” This is what must be restored.

2. The place where what Christ has given is restored
Second, what Christ has given—God’s whole will is inside the place where that is restored. It is not difficult. Inside the mystery of the gospel God originally gave. Knowing that your path in life is hard, Christ spoke of the secret—to those who are inside it.

1) The platform of the throne – bartizan
Simply put, the platform of the throne has come into being—the bartizan.

2) The watchtower of the throne – journey
The watchtower of the throne has come into being—the journey.

3) The 300% answer of the throne – guidepost
The great 300% answer of the throne has arisen—the guidepost. Those who are inside this are bound to receive God’s important answers.

3. The plan that saves the age
Third, where is God’s plan contained? It is within the plan that saves the age, which many in the Early Church did not know.

1) Cornelius – Rome
They thought they were suffering hardship and persecution, but God’s plan was for Cornelius. Why Cornelius? Because God’s plan was for Rome.

2) Rome – because within it are the 237 nations
Why Rome? Because within it are the 237 nations.

3) The 237 nations – because within them are the 5,000 tribes
Why the 237 nations? Because within them are the 5,000 tribes. Therefore God’s plan is somewhere else. So you must never be discouraged; you must remember.

▣ Conclusion: The promise given to the people who will proclaim the gospel and to the church
You are people who will proclaim the gospel, right? Our church is a church that must proclaim the gospel. If so, God clearly gave several promises.

1. The ten secrets – Survive under any circumstance (Calvin’s five doctrines). Spiritual eyes, no competition, summit, going into what is absolutely impossible and doing it by God’s power
You will survive under any circumstance. This is what we are saying. John Calvin summarized the Bible in five lines. First, human beings cannot be saved. They cannot be saved. Second, they have no condition by which to be saved. Therefore God gave the condition by which we can be saved—Christ. This salvation cannot be blocked. That is the fourth sentence. And what is the last sentence? Those whom God has saved cannot be destroyed. That is right.
Therefore, you will survive wherever you go. You must hold to this covenant today. Wherever you go, because you have spiritual eyes that overcome the physical, you will overcome. Remnants, we do not compete. Why? Because we go to the summit. You must remember. Why do we go to the wasteland? We go to the nobody. We go to the nothing. Why? Because we go into what is absolutely impossible. You must hold to the covenant. There, we do it by God’s power. God’s plan is in a completely different place.

2. When you find God’s absolute plan, that is when the work begins – The reason the world’s churches are closing is because they are in a place that is not God’s plan.
What do you think? We must stop this quickly. Churches all over the world are closing. Why? Because they are in a place that is not God’s plan. No matter how outstanding they are, they are in a place that is not God’s plan. As I said long ago, a person who boards a pirate ship—it is a thief’s ship, right? If a person on a pirate ship is a good person, is that okay? That is even worse. Right? Because he is so good, the pirate ship prospers. A person on a pirate ship is too conscientious—that makes him worse. If you boarded a pirate ship, you should not obey—yet he obeys too well, works too hard, gives his utmost, keeps the rules too well. That is worse—because he is on a pirate ship. Therefore, when hardship comes, you must not be discouraged or make useless attempts. If you only find what God’s absolute plan is, from that moment works begin. Today you must take this covenant with you.

3. Job, who found the answer within hardship
Satan’s goal is your destruction. God is absolutely not like that.

1) The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away. Let me not blame the Lord for this.
Satan filed a lawsuit, didn’t he? “God, You have blessed Job so much—how could he not believe? If You take away all his possessions and he loses everything, he will not believe God.” That disaster truly fell upon Job. When it hit, what did he do? His property, his children—everything was destroyed. At that time Job said, “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. I came into this world with nothing and I will leave with nothing. Let me not blame the Lord for this.” That was Job’s first answer.

2) My Redeemer lives, and when I meet the Lord I shall meet Him outside of my flesh.
Then he became sick, and even his family, seeing how sick he was, cursed; his friends came to comfort him but cursed him. Then he said, “I know that my Redeemer lives; and when I meet the Lord, I shall meet Him outside of my flesh. I will not meet Him with this diseased body, but outside the body I will meet God.”

3) God’s purpose is unchanging; He has many such things with Him. After He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
When you suffer hardship, no human comfort can truly comfort you. When friends come and say many things, that also cannot comfort you. A cancer patient once confessed this to me: as he lay sick, relatives and friends came and went, and it made him so sad. “My friends are healthy—what sin did I commit to end up like this?” That is what he thought. “But that is not it. If God chooses to call you, He can call you without giving you sickness, right? He does not have to give you cancer to call you. If He wants to call you, He can. God has an important plan. You must find it. Living or dying is not the issue. Hold to God’s special plan and pray.” That is God’s Word. I only conveyed it, and a miracle happened to this friend. Even if it had not happened, that would be fine; but it did happen. Is that comfort? What did Job finally say? “God’s purpose is unchanging.” Right? “He has many such things with Him. After He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Satan completely knelt. Truly, Job was blessed twofold. It was not because he suffered that he received it; it was because of God’s covenant that God blessed him twofold.

4. While worshiping, find God’s plan.
Today, as you worship all day, you must find this. You must never leave it undone.

1) Wounds are spiritual cancer; there is an answer in the problem.
Wounds are spiritual cancer. They will ultimately bring you down. You must completely find God’s plan. The fact that there is a problem means there is an answer, so it is good.

2) Spiritual sickness – When you gain strength, you become a spiritual person of mission. God gave the world to those who heal people with spiritual sickness.
If spiritual sickness has come to you—it likely has—I see that person as even more important. If you gain strength, you can become a spiritual person of mission. Paul healed people with spiritual sickness only three times, yet God gave him the world. Right? I too never imagined it. When I went into a village full of shamans to evangelize, I saw many things. Especially, I saw what is in the Bible. In the past, I did not even know such things were in the Bible. But when I looked, Paul had done that ministry. You cannot handle it; the answers will keep coming beyond calculation.

3) Remnants must turn every past thing into a platform; the sick must believe in God’s power. There is another world.
One of you is enough. Do it. Do not listen to people; hold to the Word and do it. Especially our remnants—every part of your past must be made into a platform. You who are sick—respect what doctors say, but do not put your faith in it. Put your faith in God’s power. There is another world. You must hold to it.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today will become the day of the greatest answer, and that you will truly not miss it. Let us pray.

Prayer. Let today be the day we see God’s hidden plan. Let us see that God’s plan is not where the Jews are troubled, but where lives are being saved. Let us see spiritual Rome. Let us see the spiritual change of the age. Let today be the day we see God’s special plan within our greatest hardships. Let today be the day the problems of our family line are turned into blessing. Let my incompetence be turned into God’s power. Let my disease become the road of mission. Let this be the beginning of a new life for me. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Evangelism Disciples to do World Evangelization

2025.10.12 Sunday 2nd Service
Devotional Worship for Remnant Summit Committee, Missions School Dept.
Scripture Reading: Acts 9:1-15

Thank you. Since it’s the holiday season, the roads were somewhat congested. But in particular, on the way from Busan toward Gijang, only one spot kept being jammed. I looked to see why it was so backed up, and the cars were lined up to enter Haedong Yonggungsa. There is a temple in Gijang called Haedong Yonggungsa. Cars going in there were backed up all the way to Haeundae. So I know what Haedong Yonggungsa is for. I visited once in the past, and first of all, there’s a lot to see. In my view, they have occupied so much of the sea—almost to the point of illegality—to set everything up for idol worship. Simply put, they’ve made it so people can’t help but come. Here at our school, as we carry out evangelism, we must make it so that people can’t help but come. Don’t get distracted by other things; we must focus entirely on saving people. This place has all the conditions to equip an excellent system as much as we want. So, when the time comes in the future, if we hire people skilled in landscaping and various forms of construction and build it, we can make it the best.

That’s important too, but we must raise disciples capable of world evangelization. We are to make this (evangelism disciples for world evangelization). If we are careless, we will end up greatly harming the students right now.

▣ Introduction: The Three Courtyards
So we must make this certain first. We don’t need to make strange idols like a temple; what we must have is the three courtyards. This will be the official authority going forward. Even unbelievers must be able to perceive it: “Ah, this church is different!”—that must be unmistakable. Since quite a few elders are doing much work, we must apply professionalism here. The three courtyards are a highway. A highway. If there is no highway, cars cannot come. Didn’t our country do really well to build expressways? Without them, distribution would not function well and development would be impossible. These three courtyards are expressways. You must remember this. So you must first look squarely at the three things. We must build them in our school.

(Talent)
The issue is that this is about talent right now. The reason for building the three courtyards is talent. Whether to send students overseas or keep them here is important, but if talent is not discovered, it’s in vain. Then some parents around Gangnam get greedy with their children and end up ruining them all.

[ Jews ]
Then, as we know, we should look into the Jews who have taken the most Nobel Prizes. These people have all their children read the Torah, the Talmud, and the Shema.

[ 1. Reading ]
Because they read all three, if they have read these three books, they have effectively read almost everything else. But because our children have not read them, there are also cases where they cannot find (their way).

[ 2. Great figures ]
And the Jews invariably tell their children a story about a great figure once a day. From what I see, that’s truly good. I too, when I used to teach middle and high school students, deliberately read those to tell the stories. For the Jews, it is a must. They always do that. Thus, great figures emerge from there.

[ 3. The Three Feasts ]
And there is something they do together with the parents. This is even more important. Together, they engage in the same activity. During the three feasts they pitch tents together. This becomes tremendous education. So it’s not for others to do; the father and the family make them together. Like this.

[ 4. The Sabbath ]
And there is one thing they regard as life itself. If you break it, you are put to death. It is the Sabbath. This is like life. I think it is very reasonable. You must worship like that on the Lord’s Day. It is regrettable. I am not saying “don’t do this or that.” It may sound strange, but have no distractions. You must not. You must derive every answer on the Lord’s Day. It may seem foolish. These people stake their lives on it. In some places, if you work on the Sabbath, they even put you to death. That is why these people dominate the world.

[ 5. Coming-of-age ceremony (Professionalism) ]
And when they turn thirteen, they have a coming-of-age ceremony. This means they have discovered their professionalism—professionalism. So at the coming-of-age ceremony they invite professionals and do it together. So they cannot be beaten. It’s beyond talent; they discover professionalism, gather the experts, receive counsel, and have conversations—everything. That is the coming-of-age ceremony.

So in our school here, we must prepare something that surpasses this. You already have all the preparation and capability to do it, so you only need to open your eyes. We don’t need to advertise, but with that alone our church will become known throughout the entire region. We must do that. It cannot help but become known. Whether it is by God’s grace or by the activities of the wicked, our Darakbang is known worldwide. It will become known. And it doesn’t end there.

[ 6. Synagogue (Field-orientation) ]
Children who have completed the coming-of-age ceremony are sent to the synagogue. There they not only equip professionalism but also field-orientation.

[ 7. Lodge (Futurity) ]
Lastly, it still does not end. There is also a field where only the successful gather. This is called the “lodge.” This is entirely geared toward futurity.
This is the Jews.

[ The Gospel ]
We—who have the correct Gospel—must be further ahead than this (the Jews).

[ 1. The Word ]
We must read the must-read books to the point that God’s Word becomes visible.

[ 2. Christ ]
We must study figures to the point that Christ becomes visible. Right? If you study figures properly, Christ becomes visible. How should you guide the study of figures? Show their successes, and show what happened when they failed. Right? Tolstoy died as a vagrant at a train station. Only after he died did they realize, “Ah, this person was Tolstoy.” Why did it happen? You must teach it. Hemingway, who moved the world—he committed suicide. Why? How did Napoleon die? Only then does Christ become the answer. Of course, do those studies as well.

[ 3. Always ]
The Jews keep the three feasts. We must surpass that. For us, it is the three feasts always.

[ 4. Worship–Prayer ]
The Jews regard the Sabbath as life itself. We must teach what worship and prayer are.

[ 5. Only ]
At this time, the fifth thing appears to our remnants. “Only” appears. We must teach this. We must make them see it. If one truly understands prayer, “Only” becomes visible. Why? Because talents are given from above. That is why the phrase “genius” uses the character for “heaven” (天). It is given from above. But if one does not know prayer, then what? No one understands.

I went to a conference in America, and they were busy throwing some feast. The truly important people were working in the kitchen. That is a foolish pastor. His key members need to receive grace, but they were all working in the kitchen. So I told him, “If you do this every day, when will those people receive grace? Just buy food.” That’s what I said.

[ 6. Uniqueness ]
When “Only” is discovered, “Uniqueness” comes out. Right?

[ 7. Re-creation ]
From here, “Re-creation” comes out. We must surely say it this way.

[ OURS ]
Then what should our school make simply, and what should the church make going forward? A system of Only, Uniqueness, and Re-creation must be built. How good are the times now!

[ Materials ]
Make them see the materials. Enable a meeting without going anywhere. There has never been a better time than now. We can show them all the materials. We must make it so that children can naturally and quickly see what is important. It is fine to deliberately make them see, but we must structure it so they will see.

For example, how much do the Jews save time? Even if a friend comes by, they do not meet them. The friend does not misunderstand. Why? Because they did not make an appointment beforehand. You must make the appointment in advance—don’t we call it an appointment? It must be made in advance. So they do not meet the friend—even if the friend came. Now, such people spend two hours at a meal. They do many things. If you spend two hours per meal, what happens? If you eat three times a day, what do you think? At those times, they show all this. The materials. That is where the word “panorama” came from. While they eat, materials flow across the wall beside them.

We too should install monitors here and there so people can see the materials. I told Busan to do this, and they didn’t. Shouldn’t we show how the members are participating in construction now, how much they are giving in offerings, and so on? Show it all. It should be visible as they sit.

When I went to Pyongyang, in the hotel there were monitors everywhere. Those are not televisions. They show video materials. From Kim Il Sung onward to the present—they broadcast propaganda materials 24/7.

Then there must be something to see when people come to church… We really must do this. The school should be such that people struggle to come and line up outside.

Since there isn’t much time, I will tell you what we absolutely must do.

▣ Main
Having said that, what are we ultimately trying to do? Now, God—I have chosen Paul as the figure. What must we do for our remnants before they go out into the world? We must, of course, do this (Introduction). Naturally. But there is something that, if we don’t do, is absolutely unacceptable.

1. One who has found the answer in Christ
One must be a person who has found the answer in Christ. Nothing else should be necessary. The answer has been found in Christ. One who has found the answer in Christ does not fear death. One who has found the answer in Christ does not fall into temptation. One who has found the answer in Christ has no “why,” because they know.

2. What Christ has given
Second, our remnants must take what Christ has given them. How is it that they gather up all sorts of things from everywhere, and then they don’t take the one thing Christ has given? That’s amazing. They pack all the world’s lies into their bags, but exclude the real thing God has given. That is backbreaking labor. It destroys the kids. Some children just lose their minds—it’s so hard. And then, when asked, “Why don’t you do this?”—they still do not do what Christ has given. Truly astounding.

3. Those who have seen evangelism and missions in advance
We must form them like this.
They must have the answer. They must know what Christ has given. When they go to do evangelism and missions, that’s not it; they must be those who have seen evangelism and missions in advance.

For me, in this military missions effort, it’s not important how big it is. Right? If God blesses these people, what do you think will happen? It will have a tremendous impact.

1. One who has found the 〔answer〕 in Christ

1. Acts 9:10
Now, one who has found the answer in Christ. While he was just staying still, God called him. That’s how it is. “Ananias!” This is the person who has the answer. “Ananias!” This is evangelism. Why did Christ touch Paul as he passed through Damascus? That is important. “Is there a crony in that town?” No. There was a church leader in that town who had found the answer in Christ. To entrust (Paul) to him, Christ broke him as he passed through Damascus.

2. Acts 9:15
And through that man He gave the answer. “He is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings.” The answer was given.

3. Acts 11:25-26
Then people were talking nonsense. “Paul is a fake; who knows if he truly repented?” At that time, there was someone who brought Paul. Barnabas. He invited and brought Paul to the church in Antioch. Amazing, right?
One who has the answer in Christ—Satan knows. He knows whether someone has the answer in Christ or not. The demons know like demons. They know whom they can touch. They also know whom they absolutely cannot touch.

2. What Christ has 〔given〕
Then Paul knew what Christ had given. To put it simply: Acts 19:8. Paul “spoke boldly about the kingdom of God.” This is important. Christ explained the things concerning the kingdom of God for forty days. He carried this.

1. The seven bartizans (Platform)
Simply put, the bartizans Christ gave. This became a firm platform.

2. The seven journeys (Watchtower)
With this, he went on the journeys Christ gave. This shines light and saves others. A watchtower.

3. The seven guideposts (Antenna)
And here and there he erected the guideposts Christ promised. This is called the antenna.
We must make our remnants discover what God has given and go forth by the strength God gives.

3. Those who have 〔seen in advance〕 evangelism and missions

1. Prayer 300% (Transcending time and space)
We must teach remnants “Prayer 300%.” What is Prayer 300%? You must gain strength every day. You must check every hour. You must make every matter 300%. It is unstoppable. At that time, things happen. If you understand Prayer 300%, you understand what “transcending time and space” means. Right? Prayer transcends time and space. If your family is overseas, it connects when you pray.

2. Work 300% (237–5000)
For the remnants’ studies—once their talent has been discovered—you must make that work 300%. How do you make it 300%? Professionalism 100%. But no matter how much professionalism you have, if it doesn’t match the field, it’s no good, right? Field-orientation 100%. It must match the future. Futurity 100%. That is the 300%. If you do this, you will see something. You will be connected to the 237 nations and the 5000 people groups. Without fail. Going forward, your work will not survive otherwise. In the remnant era, the AI era will come even bigger, right? If it is not connected to this (237–5000), you will not survive. You must remember this.

3. Evangelism and missions 300% (Unprecedented and unrepeatable)
And what is it? Evangelism—see it in advance. Seeing evangelism and missions in advance is called 300%. You must see it in advance. Otherwise it is difficult. What does it mean to see evangelism and missions in advance? You are people of the Holy Spirit. Satan cannot rule you. Therefore, being completely led by the Holy Spirit is called the first camp. Then, when you go and only pray, the darkness collapses—the second camp, the work of the Holy Spirit. While praying, the future becomes clear and a system is formed—the third camp. You go forth with this. These are the answers that come. There are unprecedented and unrepeatable answers given only to you. No one can take them away. This is how we send out the remnants.

The very beginning is to truly realize talent and truly engage in prayer. Because we were born carrying Genesis 3, we cannot pray. A re-created spirit that can pray must be formed. Right? We cannot pray. Didn’t I tell our elders this morning? Elders must have a personal evangelism for life. And they must have a personal prayer that truly gains strength and moves them. Right? Why? Because it is prepared. You only have to find it. Because it exists. God has prepared this blessing for the remnants. God chose and called them. A chosen instrument. Therefore Christ said directly, “Nothing else will do. ‘But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…’” We must build a school and a church where such blessings arise. In fact, we refrain for fear of becoming idolatrous, but false religions have made things visibly tangible. That is where the deception occurred. Then what should we do? We must have materials. We must set things up everywhere so that people can see what is important and understand. Visibly, here and there, we must make them beautifully. At times like today, we must also have places for prayer. We must be able to gather and pray. How good is it here? We must also make spaces where one can rest alone—so they can rest and pray.

▣ Conclusion
Going forward, among many of the next generation, depression will arise. Mental illness. It will increase. Unable to endure, they turn to drugs, suicide. This year in Korea, the suicide rate is number one. And when they kill themselves, they die. Then, in a sense, that’s the end—since they died. But some survive. Then they become disabled in a terrible way. Then they are carried to the emergency room. Of those carried to the ER after a suicide attempt, 87% are adolescents. The statistics are out. If it’s 87%, isn’t that almost all?

1. Opportunity
Let meeting you become their opportunity. Our remnants cannot hear this elsewhere. It is their first opportunity. It is their last opportunity. Make this into an eternal opportunity.

2. WIOS
Now, there are those with no talent, right? Those who cannot study, whose circumstances are poor—there are such people. What should we do for such people? We must help them. That is this (WIOS). We build a system of WITH, Immanuel, and Oneness. Why do you think God called you? You yourself know how excellent you are or not, right? Then why did He call you? You must ask. Why did God bring the multiethnic to our church? Many church leaders, having suffered difficulties and stumbled, come to our church. Why did they come? You must ask. Why did God send them? Give a clear mission there. They already feel ashamed, yet we put them through “new family” education. Are they really new? The person is an original early-days Darakbang member—a seasoned family—and yet we put them through new family education. We must not keep choosing to do what doesn’t work. We must do what works. How hard that must be. They are here, and no one recognizes them—not that they are seeking recognition, but it’s strange. At that time, you must give them a clear mission. As for remnants who seem unable to do anything—do they truly seem unable? No. It is that they must now establish the system of WITH, Immanuel, and Oneness.

3. Spiritual problems
There may be remnants with spiritual problems. That is an opportunity, right? What do we do then? Jesus said. This must be done differently. Only. What does that mean?

1. Limited concentration
There is only one way to heal this remnant: limited concentration. If spiritual problems are healed, they become power. Limited concentration.

2. Selected concentration
What others give won’t work. The selected concentration that Christ gives.

3. Oneness concentration
By doing just this one, everything is resolved. Oneness concentration. Apply it. There is no other way. Since the Gospel has finished everything, nothing else is needed.

4. Fundamental healing
There may be remnants with physical illnesses. We must teach them. Fundamental healing. The root must be healed.

5. Fundamental strength
And we must cultivate fundamental strength. Words like “it works/it doesn’t work” are nonsensical words now. We must cultivate fundamental strength. Does it look like you cannot do it now? No. We must tell the remnants clearly. It’s not that you cannot. It is that you are to take this (WIOS). God threw Joseph into a place where there was absolutely no one in order to give him this (WIOS). If you look closely, all the remnants went through this.

Is what I’m saying—this preparation—difficult? This is far easier. “When I came to this church, there was something there.” Children must feel this. Even a little, and change will occur. In the past, in my case, the conditions were not there, and I had no ability. Even so, when I did a little of this (Introduction), works arose.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that the greatest camp in your life will begin. Let us pray.

Prayer. We sincerely thank You, God. Grant us true grace and strength. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Those Who Enjoyed the Answers of 1000 Years

2025.10.12 Sunday 1st Service
22nd World Military Missions Conference
Scripture Reading: Numbers 14:1-10

▣ Introduction: Those Who Received the Thousand-Year Answer
In the Bible, there are people who did not do anything particularly great yet received a thousand-year answer. Many new family members ask me what they should do. Even church leaders often ask, “What should I be doing?”

1. The Direction God Desires – Important Words of the Bible
God has a direction He desires. We should go that way. No matter how outstanding one may be, if one goes in a direction God does not desire, that is not acceptable. Stay on that road and at that goal.

1) Remnant – The one who remains with the Gospel
There are many very important words in the Bible. Among them, the word “Remnant” is important. You must not be ignorant of this word in the Bible. It means the one who remains with the Gospel. Today, the thing you must hold is: I am a Remnant.

2) Watchman – The one who guards and saves others
Next comes another important word: Watchman. A watchman guards and saves others.

3) spy – A special unit that secretly goes to fulfill the mission
Among them, a very important word appears today. It is the word every one of you must hold. It is “spy.” Today our military ministers will take the final mission—to go as spies. spies are different from ordinary soldiers. In English, this is called a spy. In our easy wording, in the army it refers to a special unit that goes secretly to fulfill its mission.

2. spies Seen Through Three Places in the Bible
So we must look carefully at three places in the Bible.

1) The two spies who reported according to the covenant and the ten who reported according to atmosphere and public opinion (Numbers 14)
Twelve spies returned from viewing the land of Canaan. They came back and reported, and ten said that we could not go. “We absolutely cannot go,” they said. They explained the reason. First, there are great fortified cities. And there are giants. Compared to them, we are like grasshoppers. How could we enter there with women and children? When ten out of twelve say we cannot go—if you live your life of faith following atmosphere, you will die. If you live your life of faith following public opinion, you will die. At that time, the two who followed the covenant spoke. “That place is our land that flows with milk and honey which God has given us. Surely God will give that land to us.” Those who said this were Joshua and Caleb.

2) Rahab, who said that the God you believe is the true God and that the seven tribes’ hearts have melted (Joshua 2)
There is another important Bible passage—Joshua 2. What is it? The spies hid again inside Jericho. Someone reported them, and, so to speak, the police came to arrest them. Rahab hid them. She received a thousand-year answer. Right? It is even more than a thousand years. The answer Rahab received. But Rahab spoke two important things. “The God you believe is the true God. I also want to believe in that God.” And she said something important. “The seven tribes in there have already collapsed. Their hearts have melted.” She told them this. It is tremendous.

3) Caleb, who in front of the hill country of Anak spoke of the Word being fulfilled and said, “Give me this hill country.” (Joshua 14)
After that, where is another Bible passage? They all arrived in the land of Canaan. But there was a great fortress. That is the hill country of Anak. It was the very mountain about which, when they had viewed it before, the ten had said they could not go. They reached there. Then the people again broke out in weeping.
Do not be deceived by unbelief on the road you go. The number of the unbelieving is large. The voice of unbelief is loud. Do not be deceived. At that time, a person named Caleb appeared. You know this. What did he say then? He did not say, “We can go.” He did not say, “I will go.” It was not, “Let us muster our strength and go.” He said something important. “Forty-five years ago, when we viewed the land of Canaan and spoke upon our return, did not ten say we could not go? But we saw that land with the eyes of faith and said we could go. At that time, Moses, the servant of God, commanded us to go to the land of Canaan. And now we are here within it. Though I am eighty-five years old, I am as I was then. Give me this hill country.” A marvelous event occurred.

3. spy – 24
Today you will go as spies. Even if it is not many, history will arise.

1) Those who can pray 24 will surely see 25 and will see the masterpiece called eternity.
Those who can pray 24 are people who know prayer. Right? That person will surely see 25. A spy is 24. Then one will surely see the masterpiece called eternity. This time you must surely realize this as you go.

2) A person of prayer who can do daily 3 concentrations, confirm every hour, and make everything 300%
What is 24? It is a person who can do three concentrations. Right? It is a person who can confirm every hour. It is a person of prayer who can make every matter 300%. You must surely take this with you.

3) A 24 prayer team – only a few are needed.
Only a few are needed.
(1) Egypt – there were seven in the 24 prayer team when they came out of Egypt. They finished it with seven.
※ To accomplish world evangelization, you must receive the thousand-year answer that God gives.
If in churches scattered throughout the world there are two elders who know the Gospel and pray, the church will be revived. Right? If there are servants of the Lord like you, victory is assured. What victory? The thousand-year answer has come. Right? Though we can live only a hundred years, a thousand-year answer has come. Then why does He give the remaining nine hundred years? This is called world evangelization. With the salary you receive, you cannot do world evangelization. With the ability from the university you attended, you cannot do world evangelization. Those are needed, but they cannot do it. You must receive the thousand-year answer that God gives in order for world evangelization to happen. You must hold this firmly.
Now we are not welcoming just anyone. We must go in as spies and save them.

(2) Philistia – 4 people
To defeat Philistia, there were four who played the role of spies. Four are enough.

(3) Aram – 3 people
Also, Obadiah, Elijah, and Elisha—these three—stopped the nation of Aram.

(4) Babylon – 3 teams
As you know, Daniel and the three young men and Esther—these three teams—stopped Babylon. They stopped the disasters.
※ I am the remnant, the watchman, and the spy who rescues nations fallen into darkness.
Today our military ministers must hold that covenant firmly and go, and you also must hold that prayer firmly today. I am the remnant, the watchman, and the spy. I am the spy who rescues nations fallen into darkness. If there is a very evil organization, an evil nation, whom do they send there? They send these spies.

▣ Main: How?
But how can we receive such an answer? There are three points.

1. One Who Saw the Three Darknesses and Has the Light – The Reason for the spy
First, one who saw the three darknesses. And one who has the light. This is the reason for the spy. The reason one never wavers.

1) One who saw the darkness
They saw the darkness.
(1) Egypt – darkness of slavery
They were people who saw the darkness of Egypt.
(2) The 237 and 5000 tribes – slaves of Egypt
The 237 nations and 5000 tribes were all enslaved. They were those who saw that darkness.
(3) Israel – servants to idols
Regrettably, Israel was running errands there. Everything had collapsed. Egypt seized the world. From each nation people were captured as slaves of Egypt. And the ones running errands to build idol temples there were Israel. It makes no sense. They were the ones who saw this.

2) The power of the light, the thousand-year answer that God gave – able to block all disasters and save a nation.
What did God give? He gave the light. Therefore He blocked all the disasters. Believe this. Only with this power can you save your nation. You cannot do it with your strength. Only with the power of the light of the thousand-year answer can you save those difficult nations. Evidence? I was born during the Korean War. Our nation was in extreme hardship. Who made our nation’s hardships known to the entire world? Missionaries. Those who brought the Gospel to our nation, built churches and schools—missionaries. The light shone in our nation. Now it has changed into a nation that does world missions. You must believe. Having seen the darkness and having the light, it is not difficult. It is naturally victory.

3) What was taught to the spies
So what was taught to them?
(1) The three feasts – Passover (the blood of the Lamb—exodus), Pentecost (survival in the wilderness), Feast of Ingathering (the background of the heavenly throne)
They know the three feasts. Others do not know them. On the day the blood of the Lamb is applied, they come out. Passover. They know this. During the wilderness, they do not die. Pentecost. They go through the wilderness but with the background of the heavenly throne. Feast of Ingathering. They know this.
(2) Protected by the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire – the Tabernacle
Not only that. Wherever they go there is protection by the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire. That is the Tabernacle.
(3) The Ark of the Covenant – the Word of God, the jar containing manna, and Aaron’s budding staff (worship)
Inside it is the Ark of the Covenant. In the Ark are the important promises—the Word of God. When they went through the wilderness road, manna came down from heaven. The jar is inside. Why do we worship? On Aaron’s dead staff, buds sprouted as he led worship. That staff is inside. These are the people who know this. You do not need to fear. The forces of darkness fear the light, so without fear go in as spies. spies do not enter with permission. Right? That is why they are different. spies do not enter with permission. Why? Because they must go into the world of darkness and shine the light.

2. Those Who Saw the Thousand-Year Answer – The Faith of the spy
The second answer of the spy—those who saw the thousand-year answer.
1) The twelve tribes, the twelve spies, the twelve apostles
You must know the twelve tribes well. You must understand the twelve spies well. You must understand the twelve apostles well. There is something great here.
2) World parish, large parish, and local regions that rescue those fallen into darkness – the thousand-year answer is prepared there.
You must open your eyes to the world parish, large parish, and local regions. Because they rescue those fallen into darkness, the thousand-year answer must be prepared there. Thus the first point is the reason for the spy. Because they have the answer to shine the light upon those fallen into darkness, they do not waver. The faith of the spy—these are those who saw the thousand-year answer.
3) If you believe that you have the light, wherever you go darkness will flee, and the secret of the twelve tribes that save the world will emerge.
Now our church and our military mission teams are making the thousand-year answer. Is it not a thousand years? What Moses did is over a thousand years. We say “a thousand-year answer” in human terms. In reality, the work is still continuing to this day. You must truly realize—this is the Gospel. For those who truly believe what they possess in the Gospel, wherever they go, darkness must flee. Wherever you go, the amazing secret of the twelve tribes that save the world will emerge.

3. Those Who Saw the Absolute Bartizan – The Timetable of the spy
Third is the timetable of the spy. They are those who saw the absolute bartizan. What is that? What does it mean that they saw the absolute bartizan?
1) My life’s direction must align with God’s absolute plan—world evangelization.
Entering the land of Canaan was God’s absolute plan. World evangelization is God’s absolute plan. There is no reason needed. There is no “possible” or “not possible.” “God has all authority in heaven and on earth—go to all nations.” He said so. My life must be aligned to that direction. Right? No matter how outstanding one may be, if one stands on a path against God, the direction is wrong. I am telling the truth. When I realized world evangelization, I saw all the answers. “Ah, it is a matter for thanksgiving!”—it is something astonishing. From then until now, the evangelism doors have continued to pour open. I do not know how great the blessings you will receive are now, but these people received ordination as elders this time. This is no ordinary answer. Perhaps when Rahab aided the spies, she could not have imagined such a great answer would come. It is beyond imagination. But because we have the evidence, you must believe.
2) If you do not know God’s absolute plan, you cannot endure hardships.
Going to the land of Canaan is God’s absolute plan. If you do not know this, what happens? You cannot endure hardships. You cannot endure even small difficulties. “Let us return to Egypt,” they say. They even say preposterous things: “Is it not harder to die in the wilderness than in Egypt? Let us just go back immediately. We appointed the wrong leader. Let us go back.” Those are nonsensical words. If one were upright, one should say, “Even if we die here, we cannot go back.” But it is not even that. Those with faith will surely go. They went, did they not? They had seen the absolute bartizan.
3) All sufferings become testimonies – We thought we suffered forty years in the wilderness, but the hearts of Satan (the seven tribes and thirty-one kings) melted.
More important—what is it? Already, there were seven tribes and thirty-one kings living in Canaan, and upon hearing this news, their hearts melted. They thought they suffered forty years in the wilderness, but Satan’s heart melted. You must believe. All the sufferings you undergo will become testimonies—hold firmly to this. No, they thought they suffered. But they survived. This news was delivered into Canaan. Their hearts melted, that is. I asked a doctor. “If the liver and gallbladder melt, what happens?” I did not know, but they said it means the liver and gallbladder have melted. “Then what happens if they melt?” I asked. Of course one dies, but first, one cannot walk, they said. Ah, I see. Already, inside, darkness has melted upon hearing of you. Believe this. There is no fight.
※ Believe the Word of God. Darkness collapses, and world evangelization must arise.
How fearsome is faith? Because you do not believe, you cannot see the work. We are not saying, “We believe no matter what.” Right? We believe the Word of God. “Son of man, can these bones live?” He asked. He did not say, “They will live.” He did not say, “They cannot live.” He said, “O Lord God, You know.” He said, “The Lord can do it.” “Prophesy to the Word,” He said. That is right. “Prophesy to the breath.” Believe. Today all darkness around you will collapse. Why? Because it must collapse. Darkness collapses, and world evangelization must arise. They saw the absolute bartizan.
※ World evangelization—God can do it.
Here is the important fact: they went and saw, but the ten spies said they could not go. “Ah, we cannot do it because we have no money. Ah, we cannot do the three courtyards of world evangelization. Ah, even so, our country cannot do it. Bangladesh cannot do it. Cambodia cannot do it. Because our country is difficult, we cannot do it. Vietnam should not be done.” God can do it. Our nation is the evidence; you are the witnesses; I am also a witness. Right?

▣ Conclusion: Resolution
So today you must now make a resolution. Return as spies.

1. Five Missions
You must do at least one of the five.
1) A person who can do 24 for supporting military missions – Prayer 24
A person who can do 24 for supporting military missions. A person who does Prayer 24.
2) The one who raises remnants
Among those who have realized Prayer 24, the one who raises remnants. The second mission.
3) Build domestic evangelism bartizans – Watchman
Build domestic evangelism bartizans. Watchman.
4) Build overseas military mission bartizans – A bartizan is a person who does 24 and knows prayer
Build overseas military mission bartizans. The term bartizan means a person who does 24. A person who knows prayer. If there is even one person in your family who knows prayer, you can block all darkness in your house. Go to create the thousand-year answer.
5) Go as spies.
So this time, five missions were given, and they are about military missions. The final mission is to go as spies. It is urgent. Take this and go. There is much evidence.
How difficult was our nation? There was a slope below our house. There would be trash and such. Piled there were cans with English writing. What does that mean? Because our nation had nothing to eat, America sent canned food. How hard was it? Carrying bowls in the daytime, we would get corn porridge—it was not even corn, just porridge—to survive. Because children were getting sick and dying, if you brought a bowl about this big, they would ladle out warm milk from a large pot. It was miserable. Even when I was young, there were ox carts, right? Using oxen to carry loads. All those nations that held the Gospel advanced, but our country was like that. As the Gospel came in, the light began to shine.

2. Shine the light.
When you return, you must shine the light. People ask how to shine it, but there is no need to worry.
1) “You are the light of the world.”
It is not “Become the light of the world.” It is “You are the light.”
2) “Since the light of the glory of the Lord has come upon you, arise and shine.”
Since the light of the glory of the Lord has come upon you, arise and shine.
3) “To deliver the light, He called you a royal priesthood, a holy nation.”
“He called you a royal priesthood, a holy nation.” The reason— to deliver the light. He said this clearly.

3. Resolution for 24 Prayer – If you have it, you can check it every day.
Make a resolution. Make a resolution for 24 prayer. In the afternoon I will explain 24 prayer a bit more precisely. You must have it. Then you can check it every day.
1) Poverty – With a resolution in prayer, I read books and went to the evangelism field.
I saw poverty when I was young. With words, with prayer, I resolved: “I am not poor.” That is it. “Only our adults are poor. Then I do not have money—what should I do? I just will not spend. I will do something better.” There are many things far better than that. Without spending money, what did I do? I read books. Without spending money—since I did not have any—I went to the evangelism field. It is far better. Later, answers came that are beyond comparison.
2) Talk of unbelief – I resolved for evangelism and world evangelization.
I attended church from childhood. There is much talk of unbelief. I made a resolution. “I am different from you.” Inwardly. If you say it out loud, you will be criticized. If you say, “I am different from you,” you will be criticized. Inwardly, “I am different. I will do evangelism. I must do world evangelization—what are you talking about?” One person was with me for an hour, giving me a ride, and along the way continually spoke unbelief. He was an elder, too. It all seemed like correct words. As I got out, I said, “Thank you. Elder, all your words seem correct. But with that, you cannot evangelize America.” I said this. He might not have understood, but I still felt I should at least, in good conscience, say something.
3) Worship – Right now you are breaking the darkness. The doors of world military missions are opening.
Do not be deceived. Right now, you are breaking the darkness. That is worship. Right now. Through these people, the doors of world military missions are opening. May today be the day all darkness collapses and disasters fall, in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Today, let darkness be bound throughout our nation and the world. Let disasters be bound. Let the light of Christ be delivered. We thank You for calling us as remnants and for setting us as watchmen. Now let us return as spies. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

The Temple Where Multi-Ethnic Talent Will Stay

2025.10.05 Sunday 2nd Service
Church Construction Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: Acts 8:26-40

When you know what happens during worship and when you pray, you can pray easily. When certainty comes in that area, you can also gain strength. Among these, there is the most important word in the Bible. Why was this Word given from the beginning?

Multiethnic peoples—especially among them, talents who can preach the Gospel to the multiethnic. A temple where such talents will remain must be prepared. Now, what happens when we do this?

▣ Introduction: Past failures [today’s bartizan]
All past failures—you must surely know this. All past failures are completely changed into today’s bartizan. I will give the evidence.

1. What was stolen [future generations]
Now, everything that was stolen—future generations went and found them all. That field is precisely the multiethnic field.
1) Slaves
They went as slaves, but the remnants restored everything. Your past entirely changes into today’s bartizan; we call that a stepping stone. Do not worry—when all your past is turned into God’s bartizan, answers come even if you tell them not to. In one sense, we do not even need to use words like “answers come or not.” For today’s remnants, of course, since they are only beginning, prayer may not come well. That is not because it “doesn’t work,” but because it is the beginning. If prayer comes easily right away when remnants are very young—that could be a bit strange. You would almost need a slight “psycho” tendency for that. Prayer does not come so easily. You must regard this as natural.
[God’s bartizan]
Simply put, at this very time today, God’s bartizan is set—then prayer begins to take place.
2) Wars
3) Captivity
4) Vassal state
5) Wanderers
These are well-known—war, captivity, vassal state, wanderers. If we do not know this, the next generation will end up like this; but if we know this fact (the temple where multiethnic talents will remain), restoration will take place here.

2. Idols [Mason War]
Second, in the past we lost to idols. This is completely turned into victory in the Mason War.
1) The tabernacle
The evidences are the tabernacle. And all of this is now changed into bartizans. We call this Mason War the “blessing of temple construction.” Temple construction is something we build unto God, but it is also the Mason War. Simply put, it is a war between the Freemasons and the Holy Masons. Do you understand? The answers that come are not merely “answers for today.” Though your past was entirely failures, these are changed into stepping stones—every one of them. We thought being taken as captives was failure—that is because we did not know this (the temple where multiethnic talents will remain). Therefore, those who knew the term “multiethnic” in the captive field all saw restoration. This is certain evidence. Therefore, do not entertain complicated thoughts—those all get imprinted in the brain. Just hold the covenant and pray. A feature of those who do not receive answers is that their minds are complicated. There is nothing to complicate—hold the covenant. From meeting successful people, when you talk with them, they are truly simple and sincere. Those who are not successful talk a lot. Even if you go to temples, eminent monks do not talk much; the noisy ones are the lower monks. We must certainly find this out—why are we now waging the Mason War for world evangelization?
2) The temple
David was the one who gave the answer here. Problems came merely because this (the temple where multiethnic talents will remain) was lost.
3) The church
The tabernacle was changed into the temple, and the early church arose that could make a universe-wide impact. All this blessing must be restored. This becomes today’s bartizan.

3. Camp
Not only that—every past failure was changed into today’s camp.
1) Satan’s 12 strategies (1st camp)
Until then Satan established 12 strategies. At that time, the early church and Paul’s team toppled them entirely with the 1st camp. Right? Do not miss this, because you must receive answers. What is the 1st camp? It is to be completely led by the Holy Spirit.
2) The three organizations (2nd camp)
The three organizations exist now and existed then. They produced idols, shamanism, and the Nephilim. All this was solved with the 2nd camp. The statement that “your past becomes blessing” is something unintelligible if one does not know the Gospel.
3) Culture (3rd camp)
Thus the entire culture they made was solved with the 3rd camp.

Therefore, the seven remnants who received this covenant were not “special.” We might say, “Wow, special—miraculous,” but before God it was natural, necessary, and absolute. Though a bit difficult, take this and verify in the Bible.
Each year I write lyrics that ride the current of the message, and the lyrics are difficult; but I cannot change them, because historically there will be evidences among your future generations and remnants. In some sense my sermons are extremely difficult—if the unsaved hear, they are worthless sermons. Especially those who do not evangelize cannot understand: “What on earth is this?” Do not some people say so? They cannot understand. “Why are there so many terms?” Of course there are many—if you travel a lot, many terms appear; if you have many sons, you must make many names.

▣ Main:  Today’s journey
Now, what happens at this time? At this time, today’s journey is fulfilled. And a very important phrase appears here today. What does it say?

1. [The angel of the Lord]
In verse 26, “The angel of the Lord….” God sends His angel of the Lord to you.

2. [The Holy Spirit]
Also, see: “The Holy Spirit said to Philip….” This is today’s journey. If one knows nothing spiritually, what use is this to beastlike people? It is of no use.

3. [The Spirit of the Lord]
Again in verse 39 a crucial phrase appears: “The Spirit of the Lord….” This means: when you go your journey holding the covenant, God sends to you “the angel of the Lord, the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit of the Lord.”

1. [The angel of the Lord] [v.26 angels]
This appears in verse 26. In reality, because God sends His angels to inform us, the Scripture expresses it as “messenger.” In every major biblical event He appears. When Moses had extremely important tasks, “the angel of the Lord went before Moses,” and, “the angel of the Lord went behind Moses.” When Daniel bowed, God sent the archangel to make God’s matters known. We know nothing of this. So how does He guide?
1) Road
God guided the road. What did He say? “Go on the road from Jerusalem to Gaza.” That is verse 26.
2) Person (v.27), worship
God prepared the person to meet—verse 27. What does it say? When he went, a powerful eunuch of the famous Queen Candace of Ethiopia had come. And how did he come? Not for travel—we often say, “Let’s travel and see,” don’t we? It was not that; it says he came to worship. It may sound ordinary, but among the multiethnic people here, many have come to worship. Right? They did not come seeking some gain—they came to worship. If there are people who have come saying, “We will live for Christ,” this is a miracle of miracles. Right? We do not know what will happen ahead.
3) Word (v.28)
And on the way back he was reading the Word—that, as you know, is verse 28. Thus, in order to make this known, the angel of the Lord appeared to Philip.

What do you think? If you remove such things from Scripture, you cannot grasp anything real. You truly become at the level of an animal—knowing only eating and sleeping. “Since we eat anyway, let’s eat well; since we sleep anyway, let’s sleep well.” By those standards these days, dogs are far happier than you. I once stopped at a rest area where there was a park behind it. I went to see the park, and a young couple was pushing strollers. I thought they were baby strollers, but when I came closer, both strollers were carrying dogs. Wow. Shouldn’t they carry babies, but they were carrying dogs like that. If you remove the spiritual, dogs are happier than you. There are even laws now saying not to eat dogs. How happy are dogs—people clothe them, feed them; nowadays they even wear shoes and suits. If you know nothing of the spiritual world, you are the same as a dog.

2. [The Holy Spirit] [the Counselor]
At that time the Holy Spirit worked—that is, the Holy Spirit appeared to us as the Counselor and worked.
1) To the chariot (v.29)
In order to fulfill the Word, He said, “Go to the chariot.” That is verse 29. At that crucial hour—a time of concern—He said, “Go to the chariot.”
2) Ran up (v.30), the one who teaches (v.31)
It says Philip ran up. He asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?” Consider the situation—how could they meet like this? The angel of the Lord made it known; the Holy Spirit… he ran up and asked.
Then he answered like this—verse 31: “How can I unless someone teaches me?” This shows that the Holy Spirit guides your steps—though we did not know, we must know it. So the eunuch asked, “About whom does the prophet say this? He is like a lamb led to the slaughter and like a lamb that is still while its wool is being shorn; he did not open his mouth. He did not even receive a fair trial and died on the cross. About whom is this speaking?”
[Christ]
At that time he opened the Scriptures and explained the important Christ.
3) Baptism
The man was so moved—it was not merely what Philip said—he received such grace that he said, “Then give me baptism.” That is baptism. He came to receive baptism—this is recorded in verse 36. It is important—you must believe. In your journey, not only is God with you, but He sends the angel of the Lord; the Holy Spirit guides; and the Spirit of the Lord is with you.

3. [The Spirit of the Lord] [with] (v.39)
Why is it put differently from “the angel of the Lord”? To inform and to be with are different—the Spirit of the Lord was with him.
After they came up from baptism, verse 39 records something crucial. Our multiethnic brothers and sisters have passed through so much to come to our church. If we do not bring such precious people to the answer of Christ and talk about other things, that is to be cursed, right? If Philip had failed to explain Christ at that time, what would have happened? The man received great grace and understanding and asked me for baptism; I give him baptism. But then in verse 39, the two parted—“he saw him no more.” From this phrase I received the greatest grace—“Ah, I see!”
1) First opportunity
The person we meet is a first opportunity.
2) Last opportunity
We will see him no more. It is a last opportunity. Right?
3) Eternal opportunity
We must dedicate ourselves so that it becomes an eternal opportunity for that person.

Because this is what the Gospel is. “Here the Spirit of the Lord was with him.” To save one multiethnic person is not merely about that one person—at that time he was the powerful eunuch under Queen Candace. This one person is great. We can quickly see this, can’t we? Often workers try to show off, but when we evangelized those island nations, we could see that they truly wanted to spread the Gospel. When we went, the speaker of the National Assembly gathered all the presidents of each nation. He kept overextending himself, pushing the schedule, making it stretch. But it did not look bad—what was he doing by overextending? By any pretext, he gathered the presidents and said, “Please have Pastor Ryu proclaim the Gospel once.” He was asking for the message. Watching him from start to finish, I saw he was earnest. Who knows what will happen? If it was the first and the last opportunity and you spoke of something else—it must not be so.

▣ Conclusion [guidepost, future]
So how does the conclusion come out? While you are holding the covenant at this time, a guidepost is made. Today’s guidepost is made, but this is for the future. Thus bartizan, journey, and guidepost were woven as the introduction, main message, and conclusion. At such times, important things occur.
1. The Triune, the army, the darkness
Simply put, invisibly, the Triune God works together with you. At this time—look here—God sends the heavenly army to help you and to serve you. At this very time the darkness is bound. Thus the Lord Jesus Himself said, “When Satan is bound and the Holy Spirit comes, the kingdom of God has come.”
2. 3 John 1:2
Thus, in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, as your soul prospers….” This is the order of receiving answers. It means, “If you first become a spiritual summit.” Because we are human, it means, “If the spiritual world is first formed.” Then “you will prosper in all things.” It follows. “And be in good health, I pray.” Do not miss this. What you are seeking here now—the spiritual world—will surely appear in all things and in soundness. You must believe this. There is only one thing you have to do.
3. Preparation of the vessel
It is to prepare the vessel. That alone is needed—because it must be poured into a vessel. This has nothing to do with academic background or age. If the vessel is prepared, it will be filled. Even at this time, though you are sitting here now, the kingdom of God is coming upon the places you must go. Though it looks like you are praying here and praying alone, a work takes place in which all your past is changed into God’s bartizan. Your future is changed into the throne’s guidepost that will save the future.

Now, if a remnant is inside this (the whole message), what will happen? Though it may sound unintelligible, if a remnant is inside this (the whole message), then what happens? History changes depending on where Joseph is. Right? Where is Joseph? Where are our remnants? History changes according to that. Then look at your work—look at Obadiah; what was Obadiah doing? All the historic works happened then. So at this time, during the time of worship, and your daily time of enjoying prayer—gaining strength then becomes everything.

So from now on, remnants, if possible do not use words like “it works” or “it doesn’t work.” If evangelism goes a little well, you get excited; if not, you get discouraged. That is not evangelism. Evangelism is that we are inside the work that God accomplishes. There lies your field of work. Right? There lies your study. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ to receive yet another new grace this week. Pray for six days. You can confirm it. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Today, let this be a new beginning that restores all things by holding onto God’s mystery. Let our past set up the throne’s bartizan; let our today become a marvelous time walking the throne’s journey; and let our future set up the throne’s guidepost. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Gospel That Blocks Curses and Disasters

2025.10.05 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 8:4-8

▣ Introduction
※ Because they do not know what they have received, they ask what they should do.
Many people ask, “How should I live my life of faith?” Indeed, most people ask that question. “What should I do?” they ask often. But the truth is, they do not know what they have received. That’s why they cannot overcome unbelievers. Rather than defeating them, we should save them, but instead, they are defeated by unbelievers. This is extremely important. Our remnants go out into the world but cannot overcome unbelievers. They have to follow them around, thinking that following them is success, but the problem is—they don’t know what they have received.

1. Be assured – Wherever you go, curses and disasters collapse and are bound in the name of Jesus Christ.
Today’s title is “The Gospel That Blocks Curses and Disasters.” You must be assured of this. Wherever you go, curses and disasters collapse and are bound in the name of Jesus Christ. That is what today’s passage shows us. If you do not believe this with certainty, what happened to Philip will never happen to you. You will not be able to save a nation like Samaria.

1) Hebrews 11 – The characteristics of those who overcame darkness, curses, and disasters: Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
There is a place in the Bible where the names of all those who overcame darkness are gathered. Where is it? The place where only those who overcame the world of darkness, curses, and disasters are gathered—it’s Hebrews chapter 11. That’s right, Hebrews 11 gathers all the names of the heroes of faith up to now. And at the beginning of Hebrews 11, what does it say? “Faith is the substance of things hoped for.” It doesn’t say it’s something you already have—it says “things hoped for.” You don’t have it yet. “The evidence of things not seen.” This is where people make mistakes. They don’t see it; they don’t have it yet; they only hope for it. Because they can’t see it, there’s no distinction between believers and unbelievers—they both become unbelievers. What is unseen is actually first, but because they cannot see it, they think it has no value. But the unseen is the true reality. Isn’t that what it says? “The substance of things hoped for.” You have not seen it yet. “The evidence of things not seen.” What does this mean?

(1) Faith grows and takes root.
Faith grows. This faith continues to take root.

(2) The result of unbelief taking root.
Recently, a child killed his whole family. Not long ago, a father made a homemade gun and killed his son and wife. The law can only analyze why it happened. The opposite of faith is unbelief. Because they had invisible unbelief deeply rooted in them, such results came out. This year alone, reports show 338 murder cases occurred in our country. Among them, our nation ranks number one in suicides—this year it’s at the highest level. It’s serious, isn’t it? Because unbelief that does not know God fills the land, this is what happens. Unbelief itself is a curse and disaster. Because people are full of it, they cannot escape. Even emergency room statistics show the same. Excluding those who come due to illness or injury—those who attempted suicide but survived were taken to the ER. Among them, 87% are young people. This is no small problem. Such is the terror of curses, disasters, and unbelief.

2) Faith that knows the Gospel correctly
It is extremely important to have faith that knows the Gospel correctly. This doesn’t mean, “I trust that person.”

(1) Believe in Jesus Christ—the name that removes curses and disasters.
God gave us the name that removes curses and disasters, and that name is Jesus Christ. Believe in that name.

(2) You have been given the light of creation—arise and shine, for the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
“The light of creation, that light, has been given to you. Arise and shine, for the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”

3) If you do not believe this fact
If you do not truly believe this—

(1) You remain at the same level as unbelievers.
You’re on the same level as unbelievers.

(2) You cannot evangelize—you end up serving unbelievers and Satan.
You cannot evangelize. You end up serving unbelievers and doing Satan’s work because you don’t believe. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” You must believe this.

(3) There is no way to block curses and disasters.
If you’re not careful, the more educated you become, the harder it is to believe. As you age, it becomes even harder to believe. That’s why there’s no way to stop the incoming curses and disasters. That’s why so many teenagers start committing suicide—there’s no solution. You must be assured that wherever you go, curses and disasters collapse in the name of Jesus Christ, just as they did for Philip.

2. The reason curses and disasters come
So why did these curses and disasters come?

1) The 12 problems
(1) The Garden of Eden (leaving God and trying to become like God), the Nephilim (idol worship—power), the Tower of Babel incident (success without God).
Humanity left God. Not just left, but was deceived by Satan’s temptation. Of course, it was ultimately man’s choice to leave God. Satan deceived man by pretending to offer something good: “You will be like God.” That was the Garden of Eden incident. It continues even today. In Noah’s time came the Nephilim—those who worshipped idols for strength. That began to rise. Then came the Tower of Babel: “We can succeed without God.” Indeed, look at many communist nations that lasted seventy years and collapsed—they said they didn’t need to believe in God, but collapsed like Babel’s tower. This continues even today—this curse and disaster.

(2) Struggling—idol worship, fortune-telling.
So they struggle desperately. They panic, so they make idols and worship them thinking they are God. They go to fortune-tellers who are possessed by demons. They listen to the voice of demons deceived by Satan’s lies and do everything according to that.

(3) As children of Satan, spiritual problems begin; their background is hell and Satan, and greater problems pass to future generations.
In the end, it turns out that I am not the one leading my life—Satan is. Jesus said so. It’s a spiritual problem no scientist can solve. That’s why suicide arises. The background is hell; the background is Satan. And it doesn’t stop—it spreads to future generations. You must grab hold of the covenant of the Gospel that blocks curses and disasters. Believe it. Even one person holding to this covenant can change everything.

2) A church that does not know Only the Gospel cannot overcome curses and disasters.
A church that does not know Only the Gospel cannot overcome curses and disasters. You must remember this. Shall we see the evidence?

(1) Acts 11:1–18 – Criticizing eating at a Gentile’s house (emphasizing Jewish tradition over the Gospel).
When Peter returned from Cornelius’s house, they said, “Why did you go to a Gentile’s house and eat?” Such people cannot block disasters. That’s why people say, “Why do churchgoers act like that?” They cannot block it. Satan fears Only Christ, nothing else. Because they don’t know this, mental illness increases rapidly even in developed countries like the U.S. and Japan. They don’t even know why. Therefore, they cannot stop it.

(2) Galatians 2:10–20 – Emphasizing Jewish law over the Gospel.
Even Peter said to Paul, “Although we are saved, we must still keep the Jewish law.” That’s in Galatians chapter 2. Paul was astonished and said, “You, who know the Jewish law so well—do you even keep all of it? If you can’t, why do you require Gentiles to do so?”

※ A church that does not know Only the Gospel is no different from idol worship. It cannot block disasters.
A church that does not know Only the Gospel is the same as idol worship. It cannot block the curses and disasters spreading over the world and upon you. This is not achieved by effort. That’s why God said, “Believe.” We cannot produce it ourselves.

(3) Matthew 12:26–30 – Satan is building a house in your household.
Jesus said, “Satan is building a house in your household.” The devout Jews were shocked. No matter how blessed you are, if you do not know the power of this Gospel, you cannot overcome curses.

3. The background of today’s passage
What happened?

1) The reason curses and disasters came upon Samaria
(1) During Solomon’s reign, idols spread, and the kingdom divided.
Around 722 B.C., Assyria invaded. But before that, what happened? Solomon became king, and the kingdom prospered greatly. Foreigners came to visit; even foreign kings dreamed of meeting Solomon. But Solomon brought in many foreign women—thousands. These women pleaded, “We’re bored and unhappy here. Let us serve our gods.” Solomon agreed, and idols spread throughout Jerusalem. It became a town full of demons. That’s why Israel was divided—northern Israel and southern Judah, like north and south today. The capital of Judah was Jerusalem; the capital of Israel was Samaria.

(2) Captivity to Assyria, intermarriage with Gentiles.
Then around 722 B.C., Assyria invaded. It was tragic. When you don’t know what curses and disasters are, this is what happens. The men of northern Israel were all taken as captives. Later, southern Judah was taken by Babylon. The men were sold as slaves in foreign markets. To further destroy Israel, Assyria brought in slaves from other nations, who intermarried with Israelite women. Because of that, the Jews in Jerusalem who lacked understanding of the Gospel despised them as “mixed breeds.” Thus, curses and disasters deeply afflicted them.

※ Philip, who proclaimed the Gospel – Only the Gospel can solve curses. Only the light can overcome darkness.
It was there that Philip came and proclaimed the Gospel. Only the Gospel can solve curses, for only the light can overcome darkness. If you do not firmly hold this covenant, our future generations will again become servants of the world.

(3) Because they did not understand the Gospel, Judah saw Samaria as a cursed land.
The problem was not Samaria—it was Judah and Israel who possessed the Gospel but misunderstood it. They saw Samaria as a cursed land. Some Jews would even go around Samaria rather than set foot there. Ridiculous! That’s how people become when they don’t understand the Gospel. So when Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, “Give me a drink,” she was shocked: “How can you, a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?”—for Jews did not associate with Samaritans. That’s where today’s amazing work of revival took place.

2) The time when Jesus was crucified and believers were legally ostracized
This was the time when Jesus had been crucified, and believing in Him was illegal. If you were a believer, you could lose your job—even public officials were dismissed. If you went to the Upper Room of Mark, you lost everything.

3) One man, Philip, broke down the darkness, disasters, and curses in Samaria. Believe this.
This was the era of the early church. In Samaria, one man, Philip, destroyed all darkness, disasters, and curses. Hold firmly to this covenant. Believe it. This is not received by effort. To pray in the name of Jesus Christ is not effort—it is faith, not payment.

▣ Main Message – How did he block curses and disasters?
How were curses and disasters blocked?

1. When hardships come, discover God’s great blessing.
First, when great persecution or hardship comes, find God’s great blessing within it. When hardship comes, enduring or trying harder won’t work. Don’t take another path—find God’s great blessing within the hardship.

(1) The believers scattered due to Stephen’s death and great persecution (verses 1–3).
Verse 1 says that great persecution broke out and the believers were scattered throughout the land. Verse 2 says that after Stephen’s death, they mourned deeply. Then in verse 3, Paul began to arrest and imprison believers to kill them. That’s when the believers scattered.

(2) The blessing Philip discovered – He went to Samaria to proclaim the Gospel (verses 4–5).
Among them, Philip went to Samaria. Believers who have the Gospel do not fear persecution or hardship—they find God’s blessing there. “At that time, Philip went to Samaria to proclaim the Gospel.” Those who were scattered went there.

To pray today means to discover God’s greatest blessing. Try it—discover what blessing God has hidden for you.

(3) The Gospel is life-giving.
Look throughout Scripture—all who received answers saw this: the Gospel gives life.

2. One heart, whole heart, continuation – Miracles that change the world
Second, when they proclaimed the Gospel, “the crowds listened to Philip and paid close attention with one accord.” The one heart, whole heart, and continuation you must have bring miracles that change the world.

(1) Those scattered preached the Gospel, testifying to Christ in Samaria (verses 4–5).
“The scattered believers went about preaching the Gospel,” it says. “And in Samaria, they testified to Christ.”

(2) They listened to Philip’s message with one heart (verse 6).
“They heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, and they paid attention with one accord.”

(3) Miracles that changed the field (verse 7).
“Evil spirits came out with loud cries, and many paralyzed or lame were healed.” Miracles that changed the field occurred.
Today’s prayer is simple. You have the covenant that blocks curses and disasters. If you don’t understand this, you’re at the same level as unbelievers. The increasing disasters in America cannot be stopped. Things won’t get better—they will get harder. Mental illness is rapidly increasing.

3. There was great joy in that city (verse 8)
Thus, “There was great joy in that city.” Don’t lose these three things. In every hardship and problem, do not just pass through it—God’s blessing is hidden there. Once you find it, continue with one heart, whole heart, and continuation. “There was great joy in that city.” That’s the answer you will receive today.

※ During worship, pastors must convey what God desires, and you must find the answer. Once you find the answer, pray with one heart. Then you will see God’s plan and there will be great joy.
If you lose this during Sunday worship, worship becomes meaningless. Pastors must not preach their own message but convey what God desires. You must find answers during worship. Don’t just listen to my sermon—find answers through God’s Word.

Today, our former district head Kim Cheol-Hoon is worshiping with us. I see him as one who has dedicated himself greatly for Yeongdo. Please pray earnestly for him. Through his term, our church received its long-delayed construction approval. He will receive much blessing because our church prays continuously, broadcasting to over a hundred nations. Today, his name was mentioned worldwide. May wherever he goes, not only Yeongdo but all curses and disasters be broken in the name of Jesus Christ. That is our covenant.

If you have found the answer, what does “one heart” mean? It means to pray with one heart and one mind. That’s why you came today—to do this. When you do, God’s plan becomes clear. “There was great joy.” This is today’s complete answer.

Why was there great joy? Because nobody could solve that problem—nobody! There was no way—nothing worked. But when the light shone, darkness collapsed. When they prayed in the name of Christ, demons fled.

(1) Nobody → Everybody
Nobody became everybody.

(2) Nothing → Everything
Nothing became everything.

(3) No way → Everywhere
No way became everywhere. Great joy overflowed.

So when you come to worship, don’t listen to human voices or my sermon. Your life is not worthless. You haven’t come to learn from me. Whether you have problems or not, find the answer through God’s Word today.

There was great persecution, yet they entered Samaria. That’s not an ordinary story. They went to the very place that was the biggest problem between North and South Israel and proclaimed Christ—and people listened with one heart. Let this be imprinted in you. When God’s Word is fulfilled, great joy follows. Don’t miss this.

I told you before about a poor dock worker who prayed an hour after work every day. He found the answer and prayed with one heart, whole heart, and continuation. One day, he became a ship magnate—Onassis. Immanuel Kant too prayed and meditated early every morning while hiking. The same work that broke curses and disasters in Samaria can happen to you through prayer. Believe it. You may seem like nothing, but when you believe, God works.

When I was young, my mother chose the Christian Gospel. That one choice ended everything. “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you and your household will be saved.”

▣ Conclusion – What happens when you pray
Finally, what happens when you pray? You must know this. Prayer is to God—it is spiritual. But what actually happens, even scientifically? There are three principles.

1. Imprinted in the brain
Whatever you say, hear, or pray is first imprinted in your brain. If you say, “I’m doomed,” your brain takes it as truth. If you say, “I can do it,” your brain accepts that. It happens as you say—it’s imprinted in your brain.

2. Imprinted in the spirit
Then prayer becomes imprinted in your spirit. This is no small matter.

3. Delivered to the throne (Revelation 8:3–5)
According to Revelation 8:3–5, prayer is delivered to the throne. That is prayer.

※ Prayer is everything. Nothing else works—Only!
For those who understand prayer, it is everything. Jesus said “Only.” Nothing else works—Only. Today, you must discover this power all day long. Especially our visiting district head—may you gain true strength and become a witness blessed enough to proclaim the Gospel to the world. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer. God, we thank You. Make us today into witnesses who block curses and disasters. Make us witnesses who block curses and disasters in our family line,
and make us witnesses who block the darkness, curses, and disasters in the field of Samaria, and make us witnesses who block the curses and disasters of this age that no one can block. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Disciples Who See Problems as Blessings

2025.09.28 Sunday 2nd Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 6:1-7

Thank you. You are now disciples who see problems as blessings. In other words, you must be able to make problems into blessings. Why? Because that is what the Bible says. God has never once failed to turn problems into blessings. Now, here in this place, and also in churches nationwide and worldwide, there are many assistant pastors, and also RTS families who are rising up. You may have worries such as, “What should we prepare?” In some ways, there are many difficulties for church workers. So you must absolutely do this. Just do what the church assigns to you. Be thankful for it. But at the same time, there are things you must do.

[ Absolutely ]
You must find what you absolutely must do. And then you will be entrusted with one part. You must bring it to life. If that part comes to life, the church members will all be revived. They will be glad. This is not only for the church, not only for church workers, but also how we must act in society.

[ Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation ]
There is one secret to bringing revival. If you discover this, it is enough. Only. Because Jesus said so, others will come to know it in different words. This is uniqueness. Then re-creation takes place. Then the part is revived. When you see this (Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation), it is not difficult. When you see this, revival happens. I personally had nothing special that I could do, so I looked for something simple. I asked the question, “How can children listen to the Word?” In that question I discovered the Upper Room. Then I was in charge of middle and high school students, and the only way to reach them was to go to their schools. That was how I discovered team ministry. Other people saw this and the church members said to me, “Pastor, you’re amazing. How can you visit the schools like this?” But it was not amazing; there was simply no other way. At that time there were no cell phones, so that was the only way. The problem was, because others did not go, they said such things. That is uniqueness. There is nothing difficult about it. And then re-creation follows.

So far, we have already received many answers, but we must prepare, because next year the doors of the 5000 tribes will open wide. Even now they are opening. When I came here I kept mentioning Vanuatu, and many people thought, “Vanuatu? Is there such a country?” America cannot enter into the 5000 tribes, but Vanuatu can. If you enter into the 5000 tribes, within ten days you will die. People from advanced nations cannot enter. That is why countries like these are what God has prepared. That is re-creation.

[ 300% ]
While doing this, what must our assistant pastors do? You must prepare 300% in the part entrusted to you. Then it is enough. Then, in the places you go, in reality many works will arise. And in case you miss anything, many church leaders will pray for you, hold onto you, and support you. Otherwise, unfortunately, unlike laypeople, unlike elders, church workers always suffer from economic and various trials. For example, elders can run a business and make money, but pastors cannot. That hardship follows them. If you are not careful, you suffer for life. This (Absolutely, Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation, 300%) is essential.

In fact, let’s say you enter a company. For young adults, it is not easy to enter. You must adapt to those people and work there. But you must find what you absolutely must do. Because you are God’s saved people, there is a reason God sent you there. You must find this (Absolutely, Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation, 300%). And then you must do the work of saving others. Everyone likes to be helped. You must do the work of saving the company. In this way. While doing this, you must find Only, Uniqueness, and Re-creation. Then many answers will come. And in the meantime, you must prepare 300%. This is important.

Then, what must we do on the other side? There are three things here as well.

[ 7·7·7 ]
Christ gave this to us. He gave us the background so that we can do this.

[ Enjoying prayer ]
You must always pray to enjoy this. Enjoying prayer. If you keep enjoying this, as if it is nothing, what happens? True healing arises here. If you keep worrying, what happens? If you keep being shocked, what happens? You die. Your body as well. But if you keep enjoying, what happens? This is the real thing. Sudden answers like a thunderbolt are good, but the true answers come through enjoyment.

[ Power, Healing, Summit ]
Here, power begins to appear. And the problems I once carried are solved on their own. Fundamental healing takes place. My spiritual problems disappear. That itself becomes the summit.

These two sets ((Absolutely, Only, Uniqueness, Re-creation, 300%) and (7·7·7, Enjoying prayer, Power, Healing, Summit)) are established on both sides. Everyone who received answers in the Bible began in this way. You are busy. You must do exactly this. And you have no time to talk about others. Find it quickly. And there is no need to worry about problems that don’t exist. You must enjoy this quickly.

When you do this, a few things will appear.

[ All problems, all incidents, all crises ]
You already know. All problems become blessings. Is that not so? God has never once cursed. He has disciplined, yes, but never cursed. Did God striking Egypt, or striking Israel, mean He cursed them? Does it look like that? I see it as God saving them. He disciplined them to save them. He made them realize. He also made those nations hear the gospel. That is why all incidents become blessings. Absolutely. All crises become blessings. Then we must take a brief look at the evidence.

▣ Introduction: The eyes to see
Then you must have eyes to see this blessing.

RT 7
The seven remnants. We always speak of them. Even if we look only at Joseph and David, we can understand. Joseph was suddenly sold by human traffickers. This became an immense blessing. Joseph realized this. He told his brothers what he realized: “It was not you who sold me, but God who sent me ahead.” Though he suffered and was falsely imprisoned, he did not shake. That became the path of his success. One day the timetable came and the king called him. People must call you. Strong nations must call you. If you are prepared with 300%. Even if it seems like nothing, if that is prepared, they will call you. For me, I was called so many times that I could not refuse even though I was tired. They will call you. We must prepare so that the world calls our remnants. That is much easier.

David also suffered many hardships. But who received the most answers? David received the most. The word David used most often was “thanksgiving.” He used the word thanksgiving so much. That means he had many hardships, but because he received so many answers, he gave thanks. The fact that he said thanksgiving means he had eyes to see something.

People keep saying the wrong words. I always tell the older elders: “Because you are here, I feel so strengthened and glad.” Truly. It is so dependable. But many people say, “Once you get old, you retire…” The Bible does not say that. That does not fit the times. Now is the age of 100 years. In the future, they may live even longer. How can they retire? They must begin full ministry. People keep having outdated eyes that cannot see. It is the multiethnic age. The laws must be quickly changed. It is the senior age. The field must quickly be changed. It is the delivery age. The systems must quickly be changed. Otherwise, people delivering packages die. A few accidents occur, and only then do they hold meetings… Do they not know? They must prepare. Just like this.

David already realized this. Not a single thing failed to become a blessing. Even his sins—when he repented, God blessed even that. David said, “I have sinned before the Lord.” God blessed even that. God blesses all things. Absolutely. There is much evidence.

Hebrews 11:38
All the people in Hebrews 11 are witnesses. It looked like they suffered, but it was not so. Do not be deceived. It may look like hardships are coming, but it is not so. That is why verse 38 says, “The world was not worthy of them.” That means they overcame the world. That means they were not deceived by the world.

Paul
Especially the one who received the most answers was Paul. But he also suffered the most. The words he used the most were Christ and thanksgiving. Whatever the situation, wherever it was—Christ, thanksgiving. The blessing of changing the world took place.

▣ Main: The age of crisis (6:1-7)
The early church was, in history—not only in church history but in all history—at the greatest age of crisis. Never before had innocent people been executed in such a way. Crucifixion was used for mass murderers or tyrants. Not even war criminals were treated that way. Crucifixion was the punishment of extreme criminals. Yet they crucified them. A legally dangerous time had been created. But this was the greatest timetable. At this time church leaders arose. It says they were “full of faith,” “full of the Holy Spirit,” and “full of wisdom.” When such men were set up, “a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.”

Agitation [ Answer that changes the age ]
First. The powerful kept stirring up agitation. If powerless people stir up trouble, it is not a problem. But when powerful people agitate continually, then those watching will all fall away. Yet God gave answers to change the age. Absolutely.

Atmosphere of threats [ True disciples ]
Second. The atmosphere was terrifying. It was an atmosphere of complete threat. They did not know when they might be killed. But at that time, the Bible says true disciples arose. Indeed, those who appeared at that time were true disciples.

Those chased [ Future – World evangelization ]
It did not end there. They were weak, powerless, and pursued. They became chased people. But amazingly, God entrusted them with the future and with world evangelization. To people, it looked like they were fleeing. But to God, they were conquering. The ones who looked like fugitives were the ones who conquered the world. Exactly in this way, world evangelization arose.

Evidence must be given, so you must believe.

Agitation [ Answer that changes the age ]
How far did it go?

Extreme execution
They crucified them, nailing them to the cross in extreme execution.

Legal edict
Then legally they issued edicts: “Do not preach the gospel. Do not say Jesus rose. It is unsettling, so stop. Do not say Christ. Do not say ‘Lord.’ ‘Lord’ means king.” In this way.

Persecution by religionists
And religionists also persecuted them. Who were the religionists? The Pharisees, scribes, and priests. These joined in the persecution.

Merchants persecuted
Merchants also persecuted. “Because of those people, our business is harmed. Leave. Do not come.” In this way.

Rome persecuted
Rome persecuted them. Roman persecution especially said, “Do not use the word ‘Lord.’” In Greek “Kyrios.” Kyrios was only for Caesar. If they used it, they were executed. Yet it did not matter. The gospel can never be stopped. The Word has never ceased. The age was changed. Later even Rome itself was conquered.

Atmosphere of threats [ True disciples ]
The threats were intense. The ones fleeing…

Acts 11:19-30
At that time the Antioch Church was born. “Those who had been scattered by the persecution in connection with Stephen…” it says. What would you have done? Maybe not you, but many would flee. If it is boring, they flee. All would flee. But these people gathered. Do not miss this.

Acts 12:1-25
Then greater hardships came. At this time all the believers, especially the church leaders, gathered together for one accord prayer. One accord prayer always brings miracles. In Korea’s national crisis, the president even fled to Busan. At that time pastors and elders truly prayed in oneness. Miracles happened. In the early church, the church leaders all gathered before God and prayed in agreement. It was true prayer, not program prayer. That very night God sent His angel and took Herod’s life. To take Herod, no army was needed. If God calls, he is gone. At that time, only true disciples gathered.

Acts 13:1
And then, as you know, Paul returned. Paul, who had gone to persecute Christians, became a believer himself. As I said before, it is like Kim Jong Un coming to South Korea and becoming a Korean. It was shocking. Then a special group was formed to capture or kill Paul. A legal team was formed for this. Yet at that time Paul was formally commissioned as a missionary. What a shocking story. Why? Because true disciples gathered at that time. There is no need to worry.

Those chased [ Future – World evangelization ]
The very fact they were chased was a critical word. You must remember this.

Remnant
The word remnant has two meanings in English. Those left behind. Those who remain. Both are correct. They looked like abandoned ones, but were the remaining ones. They looked like fugitives, but were the scattered ones. Not runaways, but the ones sent out. They turned the world upside down. World evangelization happened.

Acts 13:1-4, 16:6-10, 19:21
At that time the Holy Spirit perfectly guided. The doors were opened. It was not that the doors were shut. It was to open new doors that they were guided to Macedonia, to Rome. This history arose.

So always turn every problem into a blessing. It will be made so. At your company, make it into a blessing. Make your workplace into a blessing. Go to the failures, and make them blessings.

Do you not already know? A young man began with nothing. But then he had an accident. He tried to survive, but another accident happened. He built a small factory, but it burned down in a fire. So he went to a wealthy elder. “Everything is gone, only the land remains. Please let me borrow money with the land as collateral.” But that elder said, “You need no collateral. You yourself are the collateral. I will lend you.” Those words gave the man strength. Indeed. That one word. The accident was not an accident. That young man was Chung Ju Yung, who later greatly helped Korea. We must have eyes to see. Do not say, “That young man made a mistake and failed.” The wise elder saw correctly: “I will lend to you. You yourself are the guarantee.”

Wanderers (A.D. 70)
The early church members looked like chased wanderers. But later what happened? In A.D. 70 a great event occurred. Wanderers arose. From then, through these wanderers, the gospel spread worldwide. At that time the remnants were used.

Now, what problem are you carrying? Do not worry. If you worry, your body and spirit will be harmed. Give thanks and entrust to God. God is surely the God who blesses. People have described God wrongly, like some strange spirit. But God is the Creator. Because people misunderstood, Jesus gave parables. Three parables. “The shepherd left 99 sheep to find the one lost.” “A woman lost a coin and searched until she found it.” “A son squandered his inheritance and became a beggar, but the father waited every day for his return.” Jesus gave these parables. People misunderstood God as a tyrant. But when the son became a beggar, so poor he could not be recognized, the father still recognized him. The Bible says, “While he was still a long way off,” the father recognized him. This means the father waited every day. God knows your weakness. That is why He promised the filling of the Holy Spirit.

▣ Conclusion

Reality (selfishness)
Do not be deceived by reality. Reality is selfishness. All reality is explained in terms of selfishness. Do not be deceived.

Fact (atmosphere)
More important than reality is fact. But fact itself is not truth. It is atmosphere. Is atmosphere truth?

Truth (frame)
Beyond that is truth. But even truth, if from man, cannot be trusted. That too is a frame. Do you know the word frame? Pre-arranged mold. It is like that.

Spiritual fact (disaster)
We must see spiritual fact. We must save all of them equally. We must see the spiritual fact that they may face disaster, and do our role.

God’s plan (salvation)
Then what is God’s plan? You can see it. God’s plan is surely to bring them to salvation. That is all we must do. Those who will be saved are guided by the Holy Spirit.

So quickly conclude. All problems are blessings. Are they not? Confirm it historically. All incidents are blessings. You must make them so. All crises are blessings. History is so. The Bible says so. That is the power of the gospel.

Prayer. Let this week also be a week of many answers. Let my problems become blessings. Let my worries become praise. Let my crisis become opportunity. Let it become God’s opportunity. Let the works that save many people arise. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.

Those Who Despise Christ

2025.09.28 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 4:1-12

※ Authority and prayer experience – When you worship in faith, pray, and proclaim Christ, the darkness is bound.
Thank you. Today is not about what we will do, but about what happens when we believe. When you worship and pray in faith today, the darkness is bound.

A certain missionary gave this testimony. He was serving in a remote area, in a very hot country. Korea had sent the mission funds, and he received them at the post office or somewhere like that. But then robbers with knives appeared. So the missionary simply gave it to them. He told them to take it. But that night, the robbers came back. The missionary was shocked and asked why they came, and they returned the money, saying they had done wrong and asking for forgiveness. He asked why, and they explained that when they were carrying away the money, there were seven soldiers with guns standing in front of them. They were so terrified that they ran away and brought the money back. So the missionary shared the gospel with them and told them to believe in Jesus. The astonishing part was that the believers in his home church later testified that, on that very day, seven people had gathered in the church to pray in agreement for that missionary.

Your prayer, your worship, binds the darkness. You must believe. Because darkness hates the light. The moment the light shines, the darkness flees.

Long ago, on the road up to our church from Busan, many accidents happened because it was so dark. So I made a request: “Cut down those small trees and put lights everywhere.” Once the lights were turned on, all the darkness fled.

Today must be a special day for you to experience what your authority and this prayer truly are.

Peter raised the cripple to his feet, and because of that, he was dragged into court and now stood on trial. “Did we not tell you not to speak about Christ and His resurrection?” That was what many leaders gathered together said to him. But Peter boldly declared, “There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” That was truly astonishing.

A daughter-in-law came to believe in Jesus, but then her mother-in-law suddenly became mentally unstable. This gentle mother-in-law began to curse at her daughter-in-law with all kinds of insults. Why? She herself didn’t even know why.

In Busan, there used to be an elder who spent every day evangelizing in Yongdusan Park. This is his testimony. His daughter had married into a family and became the daughter-in-law of that house. How did this marriage happen? The fathers of the two families arranged it together. She had never even met the man, but the fathers agreed, “Let’s marry them,” so she was married. It was a completely unbelieving family, steeped in Buddhism, but she was a believer. Because her father sent her, she went. While serving food at meals, she kept praying silently. But eventually, she made a firm decision: “I must go to church.” When she did, chaos broke out.

Normally, a sane father-in-law would never beat his daughter-in-law. But he went mad and struck her with a stick. Seeing this, her husband was overwhelmed. He came home drunk and confronted her: “Why are you going to church and causing problems?” Then he pulled out a knife and said, “If you truly keep going to church, I’ll kill you and kill myself.” But she made a firm confession: “It’s okay if I die. I love my family, my father, my husband, but I cannot stop believing in God.” Speaking boldly, she stood firm. He put down the knife and left. From then on, every morning while preparing meals, she drew the sign of the cross and prayed. Later, both her father-in-law and her husband became elders. That father-in-law, who once beat her, repented and spent his days evangelizing in the park. He even showed me the notebook where he recorded the thousands of people he led to accept Christ.

People who hate Christ have a common spiritual condition. They rage violently. Some stir up trouble, others incite mobs. Historically, without exception, whenever there was a gospel movement, opposition always arose. Who causes this? You must not be deceived. When you proclaim Christ, when you worship, when you pray in the name of Christ, the darkness is bound and driven out.

  1. When the name of Christ was proclaimed, all the problems of the cripple were solved and his destiny was changed.
When the name of Christ was proclaimed, all the problems the cripple had were solved. He had lived as a beggar all his life, but it was not merely that begging was solved—it was that the cripple himself stood up. Rising up was not the most important thing. His destiny itself was overturned. “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk.” After that incident came the declaration: “There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” This is absolute. It is proof to all religious people. Proof to monks. Buddhism may be a noble religion, but it is not Christ. You can testify with certainty.
  2. During the time of worship and prayer, God called Herod the king away.
This shows how important worship is. During the time of prayer, God even called Herod away.
  3. On the day the blood was applied, the Exodus happened.
This shows how important worship is. On the day the blood was applied, they came out of Egypt. You must believe. Some things are to be done, but some things must simply be believed. This is to be believed.
  4. During the time of prayer in the name of Christ, the light shines and the darkness collapses.
Christ’s coming was promised by God, foretold since the Old Testament. Darkness never disappears on its own. During the time of prayer in the name of Christ, the light shines, and the darkness collapses.
  5. Satan fears Christ and completely kneels before Christ, which is why he says, “Do not speak of Christ.”
Why did the mother-in-law rage when her daughter-in-law believed in Jesus? Why did the Jews persecute the early church believers so fiercely? It says they gnashed their teeth. Have you ever seen someone grind their teeth? I have seen it while they slept. But gnashing teeth means the person was in extreme anger and fury. That is why they stoned Stephen. Why do they hate Christ so much? The answer is certain. It is Satan who tells pastors and others, “Do not speak of Christ.” Satan fears Christ. He fears nothing else. He has thousands of times more power than you. He does not fear your wealth. But he completely kneels before Christ. That is why he says, “Do not speak of Christ.”

▣ Introduction _ Know for sure
Before we talk about what happens, we must clearly know three things.

  1. When you have Christ, you have the light.
The being who seeks to destroy you knows one thing first: that if you have Christ, you have the light. That is why they say, “Don’t go to church, don’t believe in Jesus, don’t talk about Jesus.”

1) Rough Christ (no answer), mixed Christ (confusion), antichrist (disaster) – Only Christ (only answer), complete Christ (world evangelization)
If you have a rough Christ, there are no answers. If you have a mixed Christ, confusion comes. Only Christ brings only answers. Antichrist brings disaster. Complete Christ brings world evangelization. Satan knows this. Satan knows whether or not you have the light of Christ.

2) When you pray, the darkness collapses – Because those who believe in Christ, who came as the light, were given the authority to become children of God (John 1:11–12).
Whenever you pray, the darkness collapses. Christ came as the light. To those who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the authority to become children of God.

3) Satan, whose goal is to destroy the next generation, knows Christ and knows those who have Christ.
Satan, whose aim is to destroy the next generation, knows this well. He knows Christ, and he knows those who have Christ.

  1. The 0.1% who had Christ and those who did not know Christ
There is much evidence. With this answer, you must begin to pray.

1) Abraham, who held onto the ram instead of his son, and Lot, who had no interest.
Abraham held onto the ram in place of his son. That is an extraordinary message—it points to Christ. But Lot, his nephew, had no interest, even after seeing that event. You know the historical problems that Lot caused.

2) Israel, who did not know Christ, brought great disasters upon the next generation.
Israel brought seven great disasters upon their descendants because they did not know Christ.

3) Those who have the light of Christ – Just shine the light. Proclaim this light to all peoples (Isaiah 60:1, 1 Peter 2:9). Believe in your identity and authority and use it in worship.

Today you are truly those who have Christ. Those who have the light. This is certain. “Arise, shine the light. Proclaim this light to all peoples. For this reason, He has called you as His chosen people, a holy nation.” Why do we receive Christ? Because all the darkness in us collapses. Believe in your identity and authority, and use it in worship today. All the darkness making your life difficult will be bound. In the name of Jesus, it will be driven out. You must believe. The basic problem is that people do not believe, and so they lack spiritual strength.

▣ Main: What happens when this light shines?
What happens when this light shines?

  1. Spiritual problems are resolved.
First, three things happen. The first is that eternal spiritual problems are resolved.

1) Christ is the King who destroyed Satan, who delivered the twelve kinds of darkness.
“Christ” means that He is the King who destroyed Satan, who delivered the twelve kinds of darkness to you. Believe, confess, and proclaim this. When you pray, you must proclaim it.

2) Christ is the true Priest who removed disasters.
Disasters do not disappear on their own. Christ is the true Priest who removed disasters.

3) Christ is the true Prophet who opened the way of salvation.
Humanity cannot meet God. Humanity cannot be saved. That is why Christ opened the way of salvation. The three offices together mean Christ.

※ During worship and set prayer times, believe, confess, and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ to break the darkness.

  1. Destiny is overturned.
Second. Why do they say not to call on the name of Christ? Why does Satan fear the name of Christ? Because it overturns destiny.

1) The cripple from birth – destiny.
The cripple was born that way. It could not be fixed. It was destiny.

2) Physical and material service cannot change destiny.
People carried him every day so he could beg. That was a physical service. Others tossed him coins. That was material service. These were good and thankful, but they could not change his destiny.

3) When the one who has the complete answer of Christ proclaims the name of Christ, destiny is overturned.
The moment his destiny was overturned came when Peter said, “What I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” That is what it means to be a Christian—one who belongs to Christ.

  1. Our future and eternity are changed.
Why does Satan make people lose hold of this in every age? Because Christ changes our future and eternity.

1) Bartizan
Along the way, He promised a bartizan.

2) Journey
In Acts 1:8, He promised a journey.

3) Guidepost
In Acts 1:8, He promised a guidepost.

※ When you do the 7·7·7 prayer every day, you will see the Word being fulfilled.

▣ Conclusion _ Darkness and light do not fight
You must draw an important conclusion today.

  1. You are the light of the world, so you only need to shine the light (Matthew 5:14, Isaiah 60:1).
Darkness and light do not fight. The moment light shines, darkness disappears.
  2. Pray – Christ who overturns destiny, Christ who resolves spiritual problems, Christ who has resolved the future and eternity.
    Pray during this worship.
  3. The 7 remnants who knew this

1) The exodus naturally happened in the way of Joseph and Moses.
Joseph was never shaken. Moses realized later, but he was not shaken. It was natural. Wherever you go, God’s work will naturally take place.

2) Those who had no calculations because they were assured of Christ – Paul’s team and the remnants of Babylon.

The 7 remnants knew this. Paul’s team was sure of it. The remnants of Babylon declared, “It’s okay even if we die.”

May today be the day that, through your worship, all darkness around you collapses and flees. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that this would be the day of answered prayer.

Prayer. We thank God. Let today be that day. We are easily caught by darkness. In the name of Jesus Christ, let us drive it away. During this time of worship, let light shine in every place connected to us. Let the darkness be bound in every place where we have difficulties. Let all the forces of darkness that afflict our future generations flee. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

The Temple That Heals

2025.09.21 Sunday 2nd Service
Church Construction Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: Acts 3:1-12

Because we heal with the gospel, all multiethnic remnants need healing. To insist on building a church is to say we will build a sanctuary that heals. We should always do this, but this week the true remedy is thanksgiving. Paul mainly gave thanks in three ways. He said, “I am so thankful that I came to know the gospel.” To what extent? He said, “What I boasted in until now I consider shameful and harmful.” Many pastors and theologians think they know the gospel well, but Paul said, “Its height, depth, and breadth are immeasurable.” Who knows it better? Some say, “Is only Darakbang preaching the gospel? We also know the gospel.” But Paul said it is immeasurable. As you know, the man John Calvin said at the very end of the Institutes of the Christian Religion that this immense gospel is believed, but it is hard to explain. Whenever Paul called people by name, he did not say simply “So-and-so,” but “So-and-so in Christ,” and he attached a mission to that. When he said “So-and-so in Christ,” or sometimes “our fellow servant So-and-so,” he did so. In Romans 16, when introducing the names, before each person he said “So-and-so in Christ.” He could not help but be used. He was thankful for that.

And he gave thanks for a second thing. He said, “That I can proclaim this gospel—there is no greater blessing than this.” He gave thanks. By doing so, only true disciples gathered to him.

Paul also had a third thanksgiving. He said, “I am thankful that because of this gospel I face persecution and am in the midst of suffering.” Many people cannot say this. So a man named William Barclay expressed the part where Paul says he is thankful for being confined this way: “Paul is now receiving God’s greatest privilege.” He expressed it well. Spurgeon expressed it like this: “It is not that Paul is imprisoned by the jail; the jail is in Paul’s hand.” So he gave such thanksgiving.

Today a man lame from birth was sitting at the Beautiful Gate of the temple—“lame from his mother’s womb,” it says. In other words, it is destiny. So this man chose an occupation; he chose to beg. Because he must have judged that there was nothing else he could do. And it says “daily.” That means he was diligent. And it says he “sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple.” That means he chose his spot well. If you sit under a bridge, people do not come much. Even to sell hotteok, the location is important. There he begged; some gave coins, and many must have helped in various ways. But even after all that, this man is a beggar. Even if the lame man were healed, he would not thereby become a child of God.

▣ Introduction – The Line of Faith
Today in this introduction, a tremendous line of faith appears. We must give thanks that we stand in this line. Through no fault of their own, children in North Korea stand in a wrong line and are at the point of death. Even at this hour there are many who are struck with incurable diseases, can do nothing, and groan in hospitals. Truly, when I went to a remote area, I thought, “Ah—indeed, where one is can be this important.”

1. Peter’s faith
In this line of faith, where this tremendous event occurred, it is Peter’s faith. Peter was changed beyond imagination. As for me, I do have faith, but for me to look at a lame man and say “Rise”—that kind of faith does not come easily, honestly. There was that deaconess in Seoul who could not use her legs. She came to every one of my meetings, in a wheelchair. Once a certain organization invited me to hold a meeting, and that day a torrential rain poured down. Yet that deaconess—back then she was a deacon—came all the way there in a wheelchair. At that time I should have said, “In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, rise,” but it did not come out. So I said this: “God will surely make you stand someday. Pray.” At that moment such assurance came to me. But after a little while—I do not know the exact date—she came walking to my office. She said God had miraculously made her stand.

But Peter—looking at this lame man—was he not the one who had denied Jesus? Seeing this, I realized something important. It says, “Peter, together with John, fixed his gaze on the lame man.” It says, “He looked intently.” It is recorded that way. “He looked intently” means he had seen him before, but now he saw something while praying. I gained many answers there. He said, “I have no coins, no silver or gold. What I have I give to you.” He said, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk.” Something flashed through my mind quickly. Where the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is first proclaimed, miracles take place—markedly.

The proof is this: I entered Yeongdo and began evangelism, and as the evangelism began to break out, I went to sixteen Russian-speaking countries to give evangelism messages. A pastor who was accompanying me led someone to accept Jesus, and the lame man stood up. Truly. Ah! For this Christ to be proclaimed is an immense event, is it not? Peter believed this and proclaimed it. It is like a miracle.

2. The lame man’s faith
This is the lame man’s faith. He said to the lame man, “Look at us.” Peter and the lame man must have met eyes, since he said, “Look at us.” Then he said, “What I have I give to you. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth I command you, rise and walk.” An astonishing thing happened right there. The door to world evangelization opened.

3. Acts 3:11-12
What is more important is Acts 3:11-12. Originally, if you read to verse 10, the section fits neatly, but I told you to read to here. There is an important word in it. When people were astonished, Peter said, “Why do you stare at us as if we had made him walk by our own power?” While speaking of the ancestors, he said, “The God of our fathers has glorified Jesus Christ. It is in His name that he stands—this is not something we made happen.” It is tremendous faith. Therefore we must give thanks to God who gave us this faith.

▣ Main – The Line of Evangelism God Desires
But there is an even greater reason to give thanks. There is nothing more to be thankful for than this which God desires. We stand in the line of evangelism that God desires. A person like Theophilus did not do evangelism at all, right? Yet he received the greatest blessing. You can see it in two things. While Theophilus was a governor, Luke wrote the Gospel of Luke and sent it to him. And he also wrote Acts and sent it. These are immense books, are they not? Even now works arise through them and they have changed the world. They are simply letters from Luke the physician to Theophilus the jurist. These came into this (the Scripture). That is why every New Year we have a retreat with physicians and jurists together. What is this? Even if one does not go, one is in this (what God desires in evangelism) line. It is important. Even if you do not do a big evangelism movement, the very fact that you are in the line of what God truly desires in evangelism is a great blessing.

1. Healing is absolutely necessary
First. Why is this? Because, as in today’s text, healing is absolutely necessary. This is the reason. Such a sanctuary is needed. It is what happened at the Beautiful Gate of the temple.

1) Destiny healing
What was healed? Destiny itself was completely healed. This is the gospel. If not for this, why would we preach the gospel? It heals destiny.

2) Root healing
It heals the root outright.

3) Incurable disease healing
For ordinary disease, one can go to the hospital. But this healed an incurable disease. By God’s power. You must believe. And you must give thanks. Spiritual works differ from human works. Such works occur. Even ordinary people—if they have strong faith, their bodies revive. This is no lie. If you have strong faith, you rise. You gain strength that can overcome even cancer cells. Then what happens when the Holy Spirit works? That is why this event occurred. We stand in a line of great blessing.

2. Healing by the church/sanctuary
So why must the church and the sanctuary heal? That is what is now being made known at the Beautiful Gate of the temple.

1) Priests
Many priests saw this man. They could not heal him.

2) Scribes
The scribes, who are said to be so learned, knew this man.

3) Pharisees
Originally, the name itself means those who are separated and great. The Pharisees knew this man. They did not heal him. They could not even think of it. This overturned that.

4) 237–5000
One more thing to remember is that this was a period when Jews from all over the world gathered. By law, Jews scattered throughout the world were to come to keep the Passover. And they did not come alone; they brought those whom they had evangelized. That is why there were Gentiles there. It is that field. It was overturned there. On that day, 237–5000 was overturned.

3. The church/sanctuary God desires
And the third reason is this: do not think of the present as difficult, but what is it that God most desires? What content is it? What church and sanctuary—since the sanctuary is a facility—what is it that God most needs and desires?

1) Multiethnic
On that day, just as in today’s text, it was a day when multiethnic peoples were present.

2) Three courtyards, the three-day weekend age, holy meditation
So now the present church lacks the three courtyards that save these people; it lacks the three-day weekend age that heals them; and though they must go out into the world and win, it lacks the holy meditation age that enables them to win. These parts were all fulfilled at once. This land needs healing. This land needs a church that heals. The multiethnic peoples have many difficulties; they need healing. Those who do evangelism and missions must not be deceived. And you must prepare differently. Someone in China said, “It would be good if there were a school where our children could receive education.” He explained the reason. After studying in China for a long time, their (thinking) does not change. So he said it would be good to have schools like RGS or RLS. So I told them to establish them. It is not difficult. That is how much these people have inside of them.

By the power of the Holy Spirit alone, if we do not do this (Main 3), it cannot be done. Knowing this, we must prepare. Is much facility necessary? Likely not. If you know, it is enough. Do you know how people crossing over from North Korea come? Our remnants cannot even imagine the pain with which they cross. The little children and the women come here almost at the risk of their lives. What is the inside of those people like? I am not trying to say whether we are abnormal or not; I am saying these people need healing.

3) Rest – Summit
And now the most important parts are these: they must first find rest here when they come. When they come to this church, they must find rest. And in the end these people must be made into summits. That is why we say to build the sanctuary. As it is now, our multiethnic peoples do not find rest when they come here, and they have nowhere to go. Even so, they are remarkable. They push in and eat, and do things like that. To eat, they must stand in line. In the future, we will need to change many systems, will we not? In order to save such people. When remnants come to our church, they should find rest. And they should not go after only playing; they must go as summits. Otherwise, they cannot win when they go out into the world. Now, what is more important than this? Therefore you must pray with thanksgiving.

▣ Conclusion – [God’s Gaze]
Then what conclusion comes? Where is it that God is looking? This is important. Where is God’s gaze? Of course, God sees the whole universe. But where is His interest? There are several things.

1. Those who see the age
Those who see the age. Why do we keep talking about the three courtyards, the three-day weekend age, and holy meditation? We are preparing for the age. As you know, the three organizations are a century ahead. It is a full century. Our church is a century behind. Then the actual gap is two centuries. We cannot win. We must open these eyes. We can do it fully; if we gain spiritual strength, we can do it fully.

2. Footprints
So we must leave footprints. “Wow, so this is the gospel. Ah, so the evangelism movement is done like this. Ah, prayer must be done like this.” We must leave them. This is what God desires.

3. The sick
While you pray carefully: Is there a church now where the sick can go? There is none. We must prepare.

4. The disabled
Is there a place where the disabled can go? The parents of the disabled say this: “My wish is for that child to die before me, and for me to die after.” If I am not there, what will that child do? There is no church that can take responsibility for that. So our nation wants to build many facilities for the disabled. And churches keep not wanting to do it. I do not know why they dislike it, but anyway they dislike it. Buddhism aims for that and digs in. Catholicism aims for that and digs in. So now the disabled are all taken and dominated by Catholicism and Buddhism. That is fine up to that point, but as a policy they are building community welfare centers with hundreds of billions—nearly a trillion won—to revive local regions. Those who can use them are chosen by open call. At that time civil servants give hints among themselves. If a church has applied? No. Because they usually dislike churches. Everyone knows. They deliberately give them to Catholicism or Buddhism. That is how it is maintained. Things have come to this. There is nothing. You truly must pray like this.

5. Remnants
A church where remnants can come comfortably.

6. Multiethnic
A church where the multiethnic can come as if it were their own home. We must quickly create such systems. That is why we combine our strength to build the sanctuary, because it is what God desires.

7. Nobody
More importantly, nobody can go and nobody can do it. This work. No one can save someone like the lame man at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. We go there. In simple terms, it is Nobody. We go where nobody can do it.

Therefore, looking at these few things, you must find them. My gospel. You must find it. My prayer. If you do not have it, you must find it. For the sake of your health, you must find it. For the sake of your studies, you must find it. My evangelism, my missions, my sanctuary—you must find them.

Though it is not necessary to go that far, when I went to a large church in America, they had revealed all the names of the people who had given offerings. As I saw it, it did not seem biblical. But if you do that, people will naturally give more. They installed it with that in mind.

Even if we do not do that, we set up the system of my church that God desires and save the people of the world. Sometimes what we do casually and as if it were merely natural for us becomes life-changing for the other person. A man who went to prison twenty times was being transferred to another place, and in the meantime someone preached the gospel to him. This man’s life changed. He just heard the gospel. The one who preached it must have simply preached because it was natural to preach the gospel. We do not know what will happen.

Someone handed out a gospel tract, and the tract flew about. This person picked up the tract. He was so weary he intended to commit suicide. By chance he picked up that tract. It said, “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden.” It said, “I will give you rest.” For us it is something we always hear, but for this man it was a word that struck his chest and head. He was lying down intending to die. That man was changed. It is Sundar Singh, whom you know well.

A man named Mackenzie, since he was Australian, entered Vanuatu to evangelize. He became ill there. When he became ill he could not remain and came out. So he asked, “Is there a country as difficult as Vanuatu? I will go again.” That country is Korea. At that time, it was so. Remarkably, those people are great, but those who push and send them are also great. He came again. He arrived in Busan, and this man fell ill again. So he went back. Then his daughters said, “We will do it.” They left everything they were doing in Australia and came, saying they would do it here in Busan, Korea. The church they founded is Ilsin Church. I came out of there. It was in our village.

No one knows. No one knows the dedication you make. The offerings you give are the economy of light. I understood that: “Ah, this is the economy of light. Ah, this is the missions economy.” It is a timetable we cannot know. The important fact is that you are now in a timetable known only to God. Be thankful. As this thanksgiving continues, many eyes change.

As I mentioned before, this person is an elite—a physician—and by appearance you can tell he is an elite. And he is good-looking. But when you look at his face, it is full of discontent. There is no thanksgiving. So everything is just discontent. The primary cause arose in the home. The husband does not believe in Jesus. He does not come to church. They do not get along. He keeps wanting to go out for recreation. He keeps drinking. Civil servants gather and drink all night and come home. So this is conflict. I said to that deaconess, “You must give thanks. As I see it, that man is a remarkable person. No one knows how well he may believe in the future. As I see it, it is not drinking. He is simply wandering. He is seeking something. The only person who can help him is you. Shall I then follow your husband around and help him? I cannot do that. You must do it. You are thinking wrongly. I am thankful that a man like him has a person like you beside him.” What will you do if you meet an unbeliever? He will go like that forever. He is a smart man. This person understood exactly. He said he was sorry. From then on he came to early-morning prayer for several days. This husband changed. He came home drunk at 2 a.m. and asked for water, and while giving him water she said, “Thank you.” Though drunk, he said, “What are you thankful for?” She said, “I am thankful that you are alive and not dead.” She said, “I am thankful that though you drank so much, God has kept your health.” It is nothing special. But this man thought about something. Change occurred. As I had expected, change occurred and he believed even better. True gospel thanksgiving changes our eyes and changes people. I will pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Let much of God’s grace be restored even this week. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Believers Who Do Not Need Anything Else

2025.09.21 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 2:1-13

▣ Introduction
Thank you.
1. People who need something else and people who do not need anything else
1) King Saul, who tried to keep the royal seat, and David, who said he lacked nothing because the Lord is his shepherd
If you look at the Yi Dynasty Joseon period in our country, there were histories where, to become king, they killed even family members, and even made all who opposed them bleed to death. They even killed their own nephews. King Saul had the same thought and became demon-possessed. Using the power of being king, he continuously slandered and harassed David. He even made about six attempts in which David could have been killed. If, while you live, you suffer something like that once, it is hard, but he suffered it about six times. Even the courtiers, because King Saul had power, kept saying things. They kept saying that David must not be left alive. Well, worldly people cannot help but be like that.

But David never once answered to that. On the contrary, when the people under him said, “King Saul is now demon-possessed. He must not be made king. He must be killed,” David said absolutely not. He strongly and clearly said that one must not lay a hand on the anointed servant whom God has set up.

David said something even more important. “Because the Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” This is not just a faith confession. This was not because someone said, “Give a testimony.” He wrote this while wandering near death, walking through death.

2) When nothing else is needed, darkness is bound to be broken
Here, something important comes out today. He says that nothing else is needed. This is what is important. Darkness is bound to be broken.

3) The reason people hold onto something else – because they do not know what happens when they pray, and when and how to hold to the covenant
If we are not careful, we miss two things. We do not know what happens when we worship and when we pray. Also, we do not know well when and how to hold to the covenant. That is why we hold onto other things. Then we need other things. Thus we end up holding onto other things. That is what is wrong.

4) What you see is more important than what you do
And what is important for us—though I always say it—is that although what you do is important, what you see is more important. If you see what is important, you do not even need to act. If you have not seen it, even if you try doing it, it is of no use. Therefore, it is important what answer I am to take with me today.

2. The history of people who needed something else
First of all, we need to check the whole Bible once. We need to check about those who needed something else. Because we might just pass over it. We too could become like that. If we are not careful, we could be among the 90% who do not receive answers. God said it, didn’t He? “Only a tenth will remain. Everything will be gone and only a tenth will remain. That too could become even more desolate.” He prophesied to Isaiah. So He gave an important answer. We must accurately look once at the history of those who needed something else.

1) Abraham and Lot – since they did not catch the word to follow the Word for world evangelization, they held onto something else
He said, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household, and go to the land I will show you.” Up to that point, Abraham needed other things—other than that. “How can I do world evangelization? Besides that, I need to eat now. I am in a hurry now.” He understood it like that. More importantly, He said, “Go to the land I will show you.” It was not, “Go to such-and-such a place in Yeongdo-gu, Busan.” He said, “Go to the land I will show you.” It means follow the tremendous Word of God. Abraham did not catch this. So he kept grabbing other things. But that is wrong and makes it more difficult. And right next to him there was another person of exactly the same level. That was his nephew Lot—at the same level as Abraham. He too was a person who thought only of his own profit to survive. What do you think happened? Abraham later realized. From then on, his spiritual eyes began to open. He realized. Therefore, if you miss this, we become the same level as beasts. You must never miss it.

2) Joseph’s brothers – food, clothing, and shelter
They were people who needed something else. Their spiritual eyes had all become darkened. They were Joseph’s brothers. Right? They knew only food, clothing, and shelter. Eat well, dress well, live well—if that is all, then it is the same level as beasts. Worse than a dog. Nowadays dogs are happier. Aren’t they? I went to a rest stop and there was a park behind it. A couple was going into the park pushing a stroller. When I went over and looked, I was shocked. Both couples were carrying dogs. They will not bear the children who should be born, and they carry dogs like that. When I saw that, I thought, “Ah, dogs are much happier.” That is what it has come to. What is it that we need that is “something else” now? This is what is important.

3) King Saul – the royal seat
King Saul did not need God. “I must continue as king. Ability doesn’t matter. My son must do it. David must by no means do it.” That is what it was. How could that be? To us, it sounds absurd, but to him, it made sense. That is why he became demon-possessed.

4) King Ahab – because he did not know God’s grace and power, he needed something else
There is a reason King Ahab became so vicious. God’s grace? Power? He knew nothing at all. Knowing nothing, he needed something else. So it was not that it did not matter whether it was wrong or not—he simply did it. “If I am to make the nation strong, I must enlarge it.” That sounds right. “I must have much diplomacy.” Then, there is only one method. “I will join hands with the kings of those foreign countries.” The way to join hands is to bring members of their families. Simply put, he would take as a wife the daughter of that other king. “If so, that king will by no means attack me; he will become my side.” That is how he calculated. He brought in thousands of women who worshiped idols and the prophets with them. Because he did not know.

5) The Jews – they did not know original sin, Satan, grace, faith, and spiritual problems
Why were the Jews judged? Because they did not know.

※ The 7 remnants – because they knew the true thing, they did not need anything else.
Thus the 7 remnants who were used were different in their characteristics. They had nothing they needed. This cannot be stopped. Why? Because they knew the true thing. Because they knew the true thing, they had no need for the counterfeit.

※ When you see God’s true answer and power, your own will and stubbornness are not needed.
Pastors think that if they run the ministry according to their own mind, it will go well. Right? Is that correct? Elders also think, “If it goes well according to our will,” then it is a well-going church. Is that correct? I see that as two demons. Do you know why? If you do not see God’s true answer, you end up like that. Right? If you have seen the true answer, there is no need to be like that. When God’s power continues to come upon your work, why is your stubbornness needed? It isn’t. This is the problem. The nation that carried away a third of the Nobel Prizes is the Jews. Why did they suffer seven disasters? They still do not know. But what on earth did they believe?

First of all, the Jews do not know the word “faith.” When you believe, works happen, but they do not know the word “faith.” Today, if you do not know what the word “faith” is, then it is just like saying, “I trust that person.” Today, you must take with you what the word “faith” truly is in order to know that you do not need other things, and to know what is needed.

The Jews do not know what original sin is. So they do not need faith. They only need to solve their personal sins. Right? The Jews do not know Satan. So they do not know what prayer means. It is important. They do not know what grace means. “Saved by grace? What does that mean? You must keep all the Law.” That person’s words seem right. “You must establish merit. How can you be saved by faith?” They do not know what original sin is. They do not know what spiritual problems are. Therefore spiritual problems keep coming.

3. The true thing
1) Do the stump movement, the root movement, the life movement, and the remnant movement
Therefore God said to Isaiah, “Whom shall I send?” “Send me.” He said it would not work. “Now everything has collapsed and only a tenth remains. Even the tenth will collapse. But the stump will not collapse.” Right? The stump remains even though the whole tree is cut down. From there a shoot rises. So, “Do the stump movement. Do the root movement. Do the life movement and the remnant movement.”

2) Acts 1:1–8
(1) Christ completed it
After Christ completed this, He spoke at Mt Olive. He spoke many very important words.

(2) He proved that He is the Christ by His resurrection, and for 40 days He explained the kingdom of God
By His resurrection He directly proved that He is the Christ. He explained the kingdom of God for 40 days.

(3) “When you receive only the fullness of the Holy Spirit, you will receive power and be witnesses to the ends of the earth, so do not leave Jerusalem and wait.”
“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait. When you receive only the fullness of the Holy Spirit, you will receive power. You will be My witnesses to the ends of the earth.”

▣ Main – Only: other things will not work
Now, why did He give such a covenant? Today, you must receive this answer and go.

1. Fundamental healing – the three feasts (Acts 2:1)
First, why Christ, the kingdom of God, and only the Holy Spirit? It is to believe. Believe what? Fundamental healing.

※ Believe (Genesis 15:6) – When you believe, spiritual works take place. The heavenly army is mobilized. Darkness is broken.
He will give that. You must believe this. “When Abraham believed, God credited it to him as righteousness.” When you believe, spiritual works occur. When you believe, the heavenly army is mobilized. When you believe, darkness is broken. Right? If you know what faith is. Today, at this time, when you believe, works happen.

The biggest problem is my thoughts. Because they have limits. God’s power is much greater than that. And there are many who tell older people to retire, but I do not think so. God’s absolute plan remains. Right? Which is correct? God’s absolute plan remains in your remaining life.

Therefore, “Only.” It will not work with other things. You must receive fundamental healing. And it will not work with other things. You must gain fundamental power. With other things, you cannot do world evangelization. You must go with a fundamental mission. You must hold this fact today and pray today as you go. And you must confess here. That is worship. So now they are all worshiping in Seoul, in other regions, in Ulsan. You must hold to the covenant and this confession must come out.

1) Healing of destiny – Passover (Acts 1:1)
What is fundamental healing? It is the three feasts. “When the day of Pentecost came,” this was fulfilled. This means that included in Acts 1:1 is the Passover that changed destiny. “When the day of Pentecost came,” means “it became fifty days after Passover.” You must believe. By the blood of Christ, He changed all destiny. You must believe. This is not about effort. You must believe. The Jews did not understand this word. Most intellectuals today did not understand this word. “Believe? You must do something.” They cannot understand. But if someone truly has IQ, they will understand. We cannot overcome Satan. We cannot become children of God. We cannot produce salvation. We cannot remove disasters. We cannot overcome the background of hell. God promised to send Christ to remove this. Believing this fact is faith. Right?

2) Healing of spiritual state – Pentecost (Acts 2:1)
And what is it? What is fundamental healing? Spiritual healing must occur. Therefore, “When the day of Pentecost came,” that is what it means.

3) Healing of life – Ingathering feast
Also, there is the background of the Feast of Ingathering. What is this? It is the background on the road you will go in the future—three healings. Healing must occur first. Destiny must be turned over.

A certain coach said this about athletes: “Hey, the one who is going to make it will make it no matter what, and the one who won’t make it won’t make it no matter what.” He said that. What does that mean? To some people, it is a word that gives strength. To others, it is a word that takes away strength. Right? “Hey, the one who is going to make it makes it, and the one who is not going to make it doesn’t.” What do you think? The whole world is like that. Therefore, you must quickly catch the sense of this.

I have gone to church since I was young. In church, they keep holding onto what does not work. It does not work. You must open your eyes. Why do what does not work? Why not do what God tells you to do? That is why it does not work. Then what does not work? World evangelization is what does not work. You must quickly receive healing. You must receive healing of destiny, spiritual state, and life. I scarcely know how to explain it—it is that frustrating. Therefore, many pastors keep suffering with ten or five church members. It does not work. No matter how much they try. It cannot work. Because the operation does not work. Because they cannot even make a living. They suffer such a situation. If your posterity goes out into the world and, unable even to barely eat, struggles and asks, “How can I eat?”—should it be like that? They must do world evangelization. Remnants must hold firmly. Fundamental healing must occur. That is what I mean.

2. Fundamental power – the power of the Word
And what do you really need? You need fundamental power. That is precisely God’s power, the power of the Word.

1) Acts 2:17–18 – children will prophesy, young men will see visions, old men will dream dreams
This is Acts 2:17–18. What does it say? “Your children will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.” What do you think? It says older people will dream dreams. This speaks of fundamental power—the power to give life.

2) Acts 2:42 – following the flow of the Word, fellowship, enjoying the power of the gospel, devoted to prayer
What does Acts 2:42 say? “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching”—following the flow of the Word. You must hold this today. Following the flow of the Word. “To fellowship”—this means knowing who the person next to you is. If I look at Lee Seong-hoon as if I am not saved, he is nothing much, right? If I am saved, it is different. “To the breaking of bread”—on the Lord’s Day, this means that you are to enjoy the power of the gospel. “And to prayer”—they devoted themselves wholly to prayer. However much I think about it, I do not need anything else. Truly. Because everything is there. Because they did not catch this, they need too many other things.

3) Acts 2:46–47 – every day in the temple, and in homes, the Word is fulfilled
In Acts 2:46–47, what happened? “Every day in the temple and every day in homes,” the Word began to be fulfilled.

3. Fundamental mission – saving
There is one more thing left. What is urgent for us? It is not doing well; we have a fundamental mission left. What is it? It is saving.

1) Acts 2:9–11 – many peoples of fifteen nations
In Acts 2:9, 10, and 11, many peoples from fifteen nations began to gather.

2) Acts 2:41 – three thousand disciples
In Acts 2:41, three thousand disciples arose. Right? You must have fundamental power. It is a mission. Why? There are many who are thirsty.

3) Acts 2:43–45 – the threefold economy is restored
In Acts 2:43–45, they gave offerings, and material blessings filled and overflowed. The threefold economy. This was restored.

In our mother church, when they were building the sanctuary, people did not give offerings. How can you do it then? You must give offerings to build it, mustn’t you? But I know. Among quite a number of church leaders, there were many who had money. They did not give. What can you do? This is no ordinary problem. In Busan it became such a test that it became known by rumor. I saw that at the mother church. But I was shocked. The shocks continued. Shock. The weakest person in strength was our mother, but she gave the most offering. Huh? I was a bit shocked. Wow… What happened after that—Pastor Jo Eun-taek, who is listening to my sermon now, is a witness. His house is right below ours. It was a big stir. God showed proofs as if to say, “Look.” To those families who persecuted our house, as if to say, “Look,” God… At that time, we had no strength at all. The prayers and help of the elders gave me great strength. The fact that the church members, our servants of the Lord, and our elders prayed for and helped our mother—that was our strength. At that time I was thirteen years old, and since I had three younger siblings under me, what do you think happened? God did not allow us to be sick even once. In my view, it is a miracle. How could it be so? Not even once. Why? Because if God did not help, we would die. I saw it.

Therefore, you must receive fundamental blessings—healing, power, mission. You do not need other things. Only. Then, when you receive power, you will be a witness to the ends of the earth.

▣ Conclusion – What Jesus gave: everything must come out from within this
Did not Jesus give something important at this time?

1. A new me – 7 bartizans
He made known who the “new me” is. You must do that. From there I found the seven bartizans. I am always praying.

2. A new way – 7 journeys
He made known a new way to me. Then you must do that—why do other things? They are the seven journeys.

3. A new answer – 7 guideposts
He made known what the new answer is that restores everything. The seven guideposts. However much I think, I do not need anything else. From this one thing, all your business and your studies must come out.

※ During worship and prayer, make confessions by faith.
Make confessions by faith. During worship and prayer, confessions of faith are very important. I saw our elders and parents who suffered hardships. I made confessions of faith to God: “God is the Creator. He is my Father. There is no reason I must be poor. God is the Lord of life. There will be no such thing as our becoming sick and being unable to do any of the Lord’s work. Because God is with me, evangelism is the easiest thing and the most blessed.” I confessed like that. These three answers are continually coming, aren’t they?

I learned many things in church. Seeing many problems in many churches, I learned much. The church is the place to serve God, the place to worship. That means that there we must hear the voice of God. We must gain that strength and go. I confessed it.

You must truly confess with your heart. “I will completely change my family line.” You must confess it—simply by faith. Because He has given an enormous background. Many precious multiethnic people are here. Those who work for those multiethnic people will be blessed for generations to come. Just wait and see. What must those people confess today? “I can serve to shine the light of the gospel in our nation.” Right? You must do that. And is there some difficulty in your family? It is not a difficulty. Today you must hold the covenant that completely overturns that. Darkness is set to be broken.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today will be a day when there is a confession of faith that enjoys this true blessing. Let us pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Let today be the day of that grace. Let today be the day when faith confession begins. Let today be the day when darkness is broken. Let us gain fundamental power. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
