The Disciples Who Save the Church (Acts 1:8)
Summary
“The Disciple Who Saves the Church” (Acts 1:8)
Now, having received the message, you must become a disciple who saves the church. Simply be within what came out in this message. Not being within it means you are holding onto something else. Prayer 24 means to be happy through prayer, but if that isn’t happening, it means you’re holding onto something else.
Saving the church is a calling, so wherever I go, I have built evangelism teams. I never used church funds for evangelism. I always use my own. This has always been my spirit.
▣ Introduction
1. Waste – Wasted time (99.9%)
The church spends much of its time, work, and finances on wasted things. It’s natural that things won’t work when I am not standing within God’s covenant. Even fixing just this one thing for church members would bring blessing.
2. Blessing – Protector, co-worker, host
We must devote our lives to where God is blessing. We must receive the blessing of being a protector protecting others, a co-worker helping those who evangelize, and a host who plays the role of enabling true evangelism and mission.
3. Secret task force
The secret task force that produces evangelism teams and mission teams.
▣ Main_ Secret – 3 secrets to saving the church
1. Reproduction – Reproduction in everything
1) Acts 2:1-18 Having received the covenant and prayed, the ability to see the future began to appear.
2) Acts 2:41-42 3,000 disciples arose. God’s work always happens in worship.
3) Acts 2:43-47 The church’s resources overflowed, and work happened daily in the temple and homes.
2. Re-creation – Re-creation is the secret of the mission field.
1) Acts 3:1-12 Anyone could see the lame man at the site, but this man was seen as one who did not need money right now. It was seen that this man needed the name of Jesus Christ, which changes every destiny.
2) Acts 8:4-8 No one had seen the mission field, but going to Samaria, the re-creation of needing to save people was seen. In this way, evangelism and missions are a gift of grace, not a matter of easy or hard. The blessing of re-creation that comes only through the gospel.
3) Acts 13:1-12 Saving a town fallen into darkness.
4) Acts 16:1-40 Saving a town fallen into divination and superstition.
5) Acts 19:1-8 Saving a mission field of people sick and dying.
▷ When church members truly see a dying mission field and gain strength from it, reproduction happens. They saw a dying field. So they go carrying life. Going there, the secret is seen.
3. Re-challenge arises from this point.
1) Acts 11:19 It said those scattered because of the persecution of Stephen gathered. When tribulation comes, it is a chance. The Antioch church.
2) Acts 13:1 Persecution intensified. That’s when the first missionary was sent out.
3) Acts 16:6-10 The way was suddenly blocked. Toward Macedonia.
4) Acts 19:1-8 What happened at the upper room and the work of God’s kingdom manifested before entering the school of Tyrannus.
5) Acts 19:21, 23:11, 27:24 “You must also see Rome.” “You must testify in Rome.” “You must stand before Caesar.” It comes out this way.
▷ At this time, the 7 bartizans are within me. At this time, the 7 journeys are on my path. The 7 guideposts are in my future. You should follow the 3 camps, the 3 eras, the 5 paths, like that.

“The Disciple Who Saves the Church” (Acts 1:8)
Now, when you who received this message finish the gathering, what should you start doing first? You must become a disciple who saves the church. You don’t need to think of it as difficult. Just be within what came out in this message. If you keep thinking you’re not within it, that means you have something else. What will happen? It’s not a matter of whether the answer comes or not — it means you are holding onto something else.
When told to do Prayer 24, there’s a misunderstanding — what do you do with Prayer 24? It means be happy through prayer. If that’s not happening, you’re holding onto something else. Right? You’re holding onto some other mistaken thing. That’s no good. No matter how excellent, godly, or upright you are, being on the wrong path is wrong. Even if a child is somewhat lacking or has a rough personality, if they’re on the right path, that’s what’s right. Right?
So, “I must become a disciple who saves the church” — that’s the point. It’s not so much about personality — saving the church is a calling, so wherever I go I build evangelism teams. I’m not telling you to do the same, but I never used church funds for evangelism. If you use church funds, you can’t do great things. Church members will dislike it. Especially elders dislike it. The finance department dislikes it even more when you keep using church money for evangelism. Why would I do that? Just walk it out. I just did it that way. Even now, those who watch me closely know I rarely draw money for myself. I use entirely my own funds. If someone comes and encourages me, they give me their own money — I never give church money. Watching me closely, people have caught on and started doing the same, this being originally my spirit. If I want to encourage this person, I must give my own, not the church’s. So being a disciple who saves the church isn’t difficult.
▣ Introduction
1. Waste – Wasted time (99.9%)
As I see it, the church wastes a lot. What is wasted? Time, work, finances. Most importantly, much wasted time is spent. Not praying, and much wasted time spent. This isn’t a small matter. If you don’t fix this in church members, it’s a big problem. 99.9% are like this. So eventually there’s nothing left — naturally, since nothing was done. It’s natural that it won’t work when I’m not within God’s covenant. If you don’t fix this, it’s a big problem. You are evangelism disciples. Believers spend almost all their time on unnecessary things. When it doesn’t work out, they even fabricate things that don’t exist to talk about. Also, people come to church trying to do business. Unless it’s 300%, none of that succeeds.
In the old days when I was an associate pastor, there was a decent man who became the nation’s top insurance salesman. He received awards for it. Not once did he solicit insurance from church members. Remarkable, right? I saw that man as someone prepared at 300%. Someone else introduced him to me and he came — he lived in Sujeong-dong, and evangelized a lot, doing things this way. Even fixing just this one thing for church members brings blessing.
2. Blessing – Protector, co-worker, host
Church members must now devote their lives to where God is blessing greatly. Protector — this could be Paul, but it means a person who protects other people, a protector. A co-worker who helps someone who evangelizes. A host who plays the role of enabling true evangelism and mission for you. You must receive this blessing. This is the path of saving the church.
3. Secret task force
Especially today, the secret task force given to our film industry workers. The secret task force producing evangelism teams and mission teams. You must pray.
▣ Main_ Secret
Then, the 3 secrets to saving the church.
1. Reproduction
Reproduction in everything. Extremely important.
1) Acts 2:1-18
Having received the covenant and prayed, the ability to fully see the future began to appear.
2) Acts 2:41-42
3,000 disciples arose. God’s work always happens in worship.
3) Acts 2:43-47
Then, the church’s resources overflowed. Work happened daily in the temple and homes. Reproduction. You must remember this.
2. Re-creation
The more important thing, re-creation. Re-creation is the secret of the mission field. Look carefully.
1) Acts 3:1-12
If you do this (reproduction), then this (Acts 3:1-12) becomes visible. It’s not that no one saw the lame man at the site. Anyone saw him. But this man was seen as one who did not need money right now. This man needed to stand up and walk — even that wasn’t needed. This man needed the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, who changes every spiritual and every destiny. It was seen well. This is how re-creation happens.
I ask especially of our associate pastors. Please don’t struggle trying to evangelize so hard. You must see this. When church members truly see a dying mission field and gain strength for themselves, reproduction happens. “Should we evangelize in order to receive God’s blessing?” That makes no sense. “Shouldn’t we evangelize to revive the church?” That makes no sense too. That kind of talk is common, but that’s what a businessman says. Why do we evangelize to revive the church? We saw a dying mission field. Right? So we go carrying life. Reproduction. Because it comes alive. Going there, the secret is seen. Re-creation.
2) Acts 8:4-8
No one had seen the mission field, but going there, the re-creation of needing to save Samaritan people is seen. In this way, evangelism and missions are not a matter of easy or hard, but truly a matter of grace. The blessing of re-creation that comes only through the gospel.
3) Acts 13:1-12
Saves a town fallen into darkness.
4) Acts 16:1-40
Completely saves a town fallen into divination and superstition.
5) Acts 19:1-8
Completely saves a mission field of the sick and dying. Re-creation.
3. Re-challenge
From this point, re-challenge comes out.
1) Acts 11:19
This is a blessing you will receive. Tribulation arose? It’s a chance. The Antioch church. “Those scattered because of the persecution of Stephen gathered.” It said this. Don’t forget it. Whenever I hear any report of a problem, I laugh inside. I can see what God will bless. Right? You all should be able to become an evangelism disciple that way.
2) Acts 13:1
Persecution intensified. Why did this Paul fellow escape over there? That’s when it happened. The first missionary is sent out. Re-challenge.
3) Acts 16:6-10
The way was suddenly blocked? Toward Macedonia. This is seeing this blessing. It’s a re-challenge.
4) Acts 19:1-8
Look carefully, before entering the school of Tyrannus, see this. This was seen first. What happened at the upper room and the work of God’s kingdom manifesting.
5) Acts 19:21, 23:11, 27:24
“You must also see Rome.” Re-challenge. It’s seen. “You must testify in Rome.” “You must stand before Caesar.” It comes out this way.
At this time, the 7 bartizans are within me. At this time, the 7 journeys are on my path. The 7 guideposts are in my future. So all of you now receiving this message must firmly grasp 3 things. The 3 camps. That’s what the secret task force does. The 3 eras. The 5 paths. The 5 paths were the message given at the Remnant conference. Do this and you’ll be fine.
