▣ Introduction: Incurable Diseases, Depression, and Difficult Environments
Thank you. Is there anyone here who has been diagnosed with an incurable disease? You must be deeply troubled. Or perhaps you are suffering from depression? Or maybe you find yourself in an extremely difficult environment? I hope that today, all of you will leave with the answer.

In her time, Hannah was a person who suffered from the “incurable disease” of infertility. Because Peninnah tormented her so much, she was in a state of depression that verged on mental illness. Furthermore, the nation was suffering through a period of great difficulty. You must take hold of the important answer today.

1. Making Wrong Prayers or Mistaking Non-answers for Answers
When we face such difficulties, we often end up praying the wrong prayers. We frequently mistake things that are not true answers for “answers.”

1) Abraham, who thought physical needs (food, clothing, shelter) were the answer:
Initially, Abraham kept mistaking non-answers for the real thing. God had already promised him an immense answer: “Go to the land I will show you. Through you, all nations will be blessed. No one will be able to stand against you. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who make things difficult for you.” Despite this, Abraham kept thinking that physical survival was the answer. Thus, he brought difficulties upon himself.
2) The people in the wilderness, who thought simply not starving was the answer:
When we have spiritual problems, we tend to create our own hardships. It was the same during the Exodus. People thought that just making it through the wilderness without starving was the answer. There are many people like that today. God has prepared amazing things—the Tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, and the Three Feasts—yet they don’t see those as the answer; they only see making a living as the answer.
3) Thinking that merely defeating the Philistines was the answer:
In today’s scripture, the Philistines are constantly harassing Israel. The people thought that defeating them was the answer. It is not. The true answer is to cultivate the strength to overcome them, the strength to prevent them from attacking, and ultimately, the evangelization of the Philistines.

2. The Way to Receive Answers
The figures who received the true answer during such a time were Hannah and Samuel. How can we receive these answers? This is important. Hannah found this, passed it to Samuel, and Samuel found it as well.

You might ask, “I have an incurable disease; what can I do?” There is a way. There is plenty of evidence. How can an incurable disease be healed? There is only one method. Many suffer from depression or “shamanistic sickness” (sinbyeong). If they don’t do it, they suffer; if they try to do it, problems arise in their families. People are in agony due to mental illness and difficult fields, companies, and nations.

What happened to Samuel? While praying, he heard the voice of God. It wasn’t just that the Temple or the Ark of the Covenant were important; the Temple of God and the Bartizan of God first came upon Samuel himself. “From that day forward, not one of Samuel’s words fell to the ground.” Before we go into the main points, you must find the answer:

1) First, establish the Bartizan of Jehovah within me.
Are you suffering from depression? Spiritual difficulties? Do not worry. If you try to force them away, they won’t go. First, build the Bartizan of Jehovah within you.
2) Make yourself into the Temple of Jehovah.
To be more specific, make yourself the Temple of Jehovah.
3) Let the Word of God come upon you. Wait for the Holy Spirit to work.
To be even more accurate, let God’s Word come upon you and wait for the Holy Spirit. Never give up. Do not do anything else. Works will occur. I have seen cancer patients, abandoned by hospitals, become healed. How? The Bartizan of Jehovah was established. Just as our bodies get sick from shocks, our bodies can be healed when we are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Remnants and church officers, your lives are precious. First, establish the Bartizan of Jehovah. Let the Temple of Jehovah come upon you. Everything else is false; Jesus called them “thieves and robbers.” Let the Bartizan of Jehovah descend.

▣ Main Body

1. Samuel, upon whom the Bartizan, the Temple, and the Word came – Heavenly Mandate (Cheonmyeong)
Samuel experienced the Tabernacle, the Temple, and the Bartizan. This is the key.

1) Samuel lying down beside the Ark of the Covenant:
In chapter 3, verse 3, it says Eli was lying down in his own place. The Word had been cut off. Eli was in his own place, but Samuel was lying down beside the Ark of the Covenant. The aged Eli was in his own place, but the young Samuel was by the Ark. This is the answer. There is no other way. When you have an incurable disease, can a doctor help? Can your family? There is no way. When spiritual and mental suffering comes, who can help?
2) Samuel hearing the voice of God:
It was then that the young Samuel heard God’s voice. Because he had never experienced it, he asked, “What is this sound?” It happened three times. Only then did Eli tell him, “God is speaking to you, so listen carefully. Say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.'”
3) From that day on, Samuel’s words did not fall to the ground:
Simply put, he received the Heavenly Mandate. Do not be discouraged. Do not do anything else. Do not listen to other voices. When you are in confusion or sickness, no one can help you. But the Bartizan and Temple of Jehovah entered him. The Word came upon him.

> ※ 1 Corinthians 3:16
> “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”

This is certain. We need to look at this from the opposite perspective as well. To a shaman, one might say, “Do you not know that the evil spirit dwells in you instead of the Holy Spirit?” You must change it. You must change the spirit of Satan that destroys. Nothing is more important than this. Why must you endure? Because you must change the spirit. This is what came upon Samuel. You must start this prayer today.

2. The prayer of Samuel, who possessed the Bartizan and the Temple, does not fall to the ground (1 Sam 3:19).
The prayer of the Bartizan and Temple began. This means as the prayer started, the answers came.

1) The prayer of the one with the Bartizan and Temple turns into a spiritual war.
What happened when Samuel’s words did not fall to the ground?
(1) Samuel’s prayer when the Philistines attacked and took the Ark:
The Philistines attacked. In the process, Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas, died. Not only that, the Ark of the Covenant was taken. When Eli heard the report, he was so shocked he fell backward, broke his neck, and died. The Ark was gone. What did Samuel do? It is recorded that “not one of Samuel’s words fell to the ground.” His prayer did not stop.
(2) Disasters appearing wherever the Ark arrived:
The Philistines fearlessly took the Ark to the region of Ashdod and placed it in the temple of Dagon. The next morning, the idol of Dagon was found fallen on its face. Its head and hands were broken off. Disasters began to hit the entire region. Taking the Ark was a foolish act. During that time, Samuel was praying. The prayer of one who possesses the Bartizan and Temple is different. The terrified Philistines moved the Ark to Gath, the home of giants like Goliath. Even greater disasters hit—people died overnight, and others were struck with plagues. Finally, they moved it to Ekron, but the people there protested, “Why bring this terrifying Ark here to kill us?” It became a sea of death.
(3) The return of the Ark:
The Philistines decided to return the Ark along with a guilt offering. Thus, the Ark returned.
2) The prayer of a person who has become the Temple and the Bartizan:
One hidden prayer of yours can crumble the darkness. It’s not just that God’s power comes upon you; this prayer begins to influence other places. Establish the Bartizan. Depression patients, do not be discouraged; establish the Temple of Jehovah. Let the Word of Jehovah be planted. When this comes upon you, it becomes not only a Heavenly Mandate but a Calling (Somyeong). A person who has become the Temple can never lose their prayer.
(1) I will build my church on this rock (Matt 16:18): You are the rock. “On this rock, I will personally build my church.”
(2) The gates of Hades will not overcome you (Matt 16:18): Darkness cannot win because the Bartizan has changed.
(3) I give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven (Matt 16:19).
I once told a person with a mental illness: “You will never get better.” They were discouraged. Then I said, “If you know the reason why you won’t get better, you can be cured.” The reason? “You are choosing to go into spiritual pain yourself.” They made excuses—blaming their husband, wife, or the Philistines. No, it is because there is no Bartizan inside you.
3) Calling (Somyeong):
Samuel received this from his mother and held onto it. Naturally, his words did not fall to the ground. God’s Word came to him, and he triumphed over great incidents through prayer. He won without fighting. Ordinary people or animals wouldn’t understand this. This is the Calling.

3. The Mizpah Movement
Finally, the Mission (Samyeong) of the one with the Bartizan emerges. This is the Mizpah Movement.

1) Throw away all idols and come before the altar:
“All Israel, discard your idols and come to the altar.”
2) God, who broke the Philistines in advance:
God had already broken the Philistines before they even knew what was happening.
3) Spiritual strength to win without fighting:
“Throughout the days of Samuel, there was no war.” The Philistines could not attack. This is the immense power of winning without fighting. Darkness cannot approach you.

> ※ Cultivate this strength.
> You must cultivate this spiritual strength. Remnants must cultivate it while they are young so it lasts forever. Our church officers must also develop this strength, especially our multi-ethnic members and those serving them. Your labor is never in vain.

※ What happened when parents prayed with spiritual strength:
When Jacob heard Joseph’s dream of world evangelization, the brothers mocked him, but Jacob “kept the matter in mind.” When Joseph was reported dead, how did Jacob feel? But one day, he heard Joseph was alive and was the Governor of Egypt. When Jacob finally met Pharaoh, he immediately raised his hands and blessed the King. This is the power of prayer. Your prayer does not end. The prayer of one woman, Jochebed, produced Moses—the greatest answer in church history. One woman, Hannah, produced Samuel.

▣ Conclusion

1. Matthew 4:19: Jesus, who completed everything, said, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
2. Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
3. Mark 3:13-15: He called those He wanted to be with Him, to send them out to preach, and to give them authority to drive out demons.
4. Matthew 28:18, 20: “I will be with you always, to the very end of the age… with all authority in heaven and on earth.”
5. Mark 16:19-20: The Lord, who sat on the Throne, worked with the disciples.
6. Acts 1:3: He promised to be with us through the Throne and the Kingdom of God.

> ※ Cultivate fundamental strength.
> Do not delay. Pray all day this Sunday: “Lord, grant me the Bartizan that can save my family, the world, and the field. Let the certain covenant and Temple come upon me.” Healing will occur. The standard is not just “fixing” a disease but making it disappear. You must cultivate fundamental strength.

I heard a testimony from a drug addict. They said that once the Word and the Holy Spirit came upon them, they didn’t even think about drugs anymore. They wondered why they had ever done them. They didn’t need them anymore. If you have depression or a terminal illness, do not worry. Change the Bartizan. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today will be the greatest day of your life.

Prayer. Lord, give us new grace and new strength this week. Let new grace and answers be given to us. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
