What Kind of Answers Are You Receiving Now?

Lecture 01: 『 What Kind of Answers Are You Receiving Now? 』 (John 14:16)

Introduction:
Now we need to do actual evangelism, and as I mentioned earlier, things don’t work out because people keep starting off wrong. The start is extremely important, isn’t it? So you must not copy what I did when I first started in Yeongdo. You have to start in a way that fits that place. When about 30-40 members are gathering, what should I do first? The first thing is to look after the members, right? So I changed all the members’ homes into upper rooms. Then what happens? I visit those people every week, I’m always visiting their homes, and the members always get to see me. Through that, I can easily teach them – this is evangelism, this is an upper room. People who see that will follow along. As this goes on, it ends up happening in hundreds of places. If you touch hundreds of places, won’t at least one prepared person emerge? That becomes the power. So as things progressed, I eliminated the upper rooms I was holding, one by one. That’s the only way to move on to other places. The members had already been worshiping and were all prepared, so I needed to dig into other regions to save people, but the members were very sad about it. They said the pastor wasn’t coming anymore, so without really deceiving them, I gently told a little white lie – that I was a bit tight on time so I’d send someone in my place – and that’s how I slipped away. Because all of you are important, when you do evangelism in one area or do something, the start is extremely, extremely important.

Today is Lecture 1. As I’m about to begin – what is it? Right now, what kind of answers are we receiving? I’m telling you, checking this is the first thing.

Jesus said this. It is not God’s will for Jesus to always be visibly present with us. So He said, “If I go, I will send you the Counselor, the Holy Spirit.” So He said He would be with us forever – isn’t that happening right now?

Absolute (Must)
Humanism (unbeliever), Legalism (strife), Mysticism (delusion)

Absolute (Must) – Humanism (unbeliever), Legalism (strife), Mysticism (delusion)
Every time, you must check. What do you need to check? Whether it’s for today, or for your whole life, or for your field – you must always find this (the absolute). The absolute thing. But there are people who speak carelessly, aren’t there? That causes a lot of loss. Some people – whatever comes to mind immediately comes out of their mouth. What happens then? So in simple terms, if you start gently with “what must be done,” this may look like a small thing but it is not small.

Now, when things don’t work out, without realizing it I end up using humanism. Isn’t that itself wrong? Using humanism means you’re in the state of an unbeliever – how unfair is that? Because this doesn’t work out, instead of the law you end up going with legalism. When you go with legalism, what state do you end up in? You end up in a state of strife. That’s why all general assemblies, presbyteries, and all organizations end up in strife. It’s because they fall into legalism. Some people dislike all of that and become mystical – but the Word of God is what is mysterious; if you fall into mysticism, what state do you end up in? You end up in a state of delusion. So how frightening is that?

The conclusion must come first.
So now we’re in a situation where we must do real evangelism and receive real answers, and therefore it is actually correct for the conclusion to come out first in the introduction.

Whatever you do, the conclusion must come out first in the introduction. Right? The Bible is structured that way too. There is no explanation of who God is. The conclusion was drawn from the very first page. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” – that is the conclusion.

1) Genesis 13:14-18
Now, the moment this was laid out clearly, the path gets set right from that point. It’s Abraham. Before that, the path had always been wrong. He had all the covenants, but only the path was wrong. So everyone, even if I cannot find what the absolute is, I must say, “I will do only what God wants” – that is the correct position. Right? Because your life is only given once, and the church you serve is only given once. Why would you do just anything? It must be the absolute thing.

2) Genesis 37:1-11
He grasped the conclusion. Who? Joseph did. From that point on, he was different. When this is correct, answers begin to come. You must enjoy this and be sure to tell the members. When things get too difficult, this kind of margin is hard to find. You have to keep that in mind. Then some things must be given up. Because you need to find this margin – but since you’re in a hurry, for example, a wealthy person who thinks, “Let me try this business as a hobby” – that person has margin. But someone who thinks, “How am I going to survive?” and starts a business by taking out loans – that person has no margin. They’re not originally that kind of person but they become a strange person. So if the church becomes like that, or if our evangelism becomes like that, it’s a problem, isn’t it?

3) Exodus 3:18-20
The answer kept not coming, and then God told Moses the conclusion. That is what’s important. It was finished. Go offer the blood sacrifice now – but the more important word was: I will be with you, and that is the evidence, He said.

4) 1 Samuel 3:1-19
The early movement of history for young Samuel was God showing him the conclusion from the beginning. To Samuel – from that point on, not a single word of Samuel’s fell to the ground.

5) 1 Samuel 16:1-13
Look at another important one. Here we have the scene where priest Samuel, Jesse, and David are present. What was spoken here? The conclusion was spoken. It was finished. “From that day on, the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him” – so do not be deceived.

When I entered Yeongdo, which was completely destitute – I already had the conclusion. That’s right, we’re going to do world evangelism from here. How? I had the prepared materials. We’re going to do it with this. So land of 200 pyeong, 300 pyeong – I didn’t even see that. At minimum, I was looking for several thousand pyeong. So false rumors spread – people said that pastor must have a lot of money, going around all over Yeongdo looking for big land. It has nothing to do with money. Because I always need to reach the conclusion: I can do this evangelism in this area. Without that, the more you eagerly keep pressing forward, the more you run out of energy later. Even if there are only 2 members, the moment that answer clearly comes, the members gain strength.

This year must be a new start. No matter how many members you have, if this answer doesn’t come, things will shake. What is your specialty? You just start, that’s the thing. An impatient person starts impatiently. Will that work? Of course not. And some people are too slow by nature. Even when something comes, they just sit still. That is what it means to quench the Spirit. Pressing in when you shouldn’t – that is what it means to grieve the Spirit. Isn’t that clear? So you only need to hold on to what is certain. 237 – that number I found myself. Because it needs to be certain, right? Other people don’t use it. Wherever I go, 237 is attached – oh, that’s an upper room member – they see it but don’t act on it. 5,000 tribes – isn’t that certain? Three courtyards, the three-day weekend age, the holy meditation age – that’s how it should be, because that’s God’s plan. It’s not mine. So the members – the members must first receive this blessing. They must be convinced. Because it is certain.

6) Daniel 1:8-9
Having properly received Isaiah’s message, Daniel went into captivity. He went, and was used as one who served the king. He didn’t choose it himself – the king recognized the talented and selected them. He purposed in his heart. Here God’s evidence is shown – it couldn’t have been any other way.

7) Acts 1:14, Acts 2:42, Acts 9:10, 15
These are the people who gathered after Jesus spent 40 days explaining on Mt. Olive. The conclusion was reached. Nothing else needed – even if we die, that’s okay – the conclusion was made. “They devoted themselves to prayer” – this must happen. Only then do you have peace, and even when things don’t work out, you know why. That means waiting, not failing. From then on, worship comes alive. Following the apostles’ teaching – the Word begins to become visible. At that point, the person beside you seems so precious. “They fellowshipped together” – at that point, you’re so moved by your salvation – “They broke bread together” – from that point, “They devoted themselves entirely to prayer” – these are people who have reached the conclusion. Ananias – and then. Who did he introduce at that point? He introduced Paul. “He is a chosen vessel to be placed before Israel and all kings” – the conclusion had come out.

When it becomes like this, evangelism too – success of all kinds keeps coming. Whether small or large, success keeps showing up. That’s how it should be – how blessed are you? We started with an upper room and have come all the way to 5,000 tribes. The Word has been fulfilled exactly as it was.

Main – Now let’s go into the Main.

First, ① what Jesus Christ taught is important. Next, ② when we hold on to the correct gospel and the correct message and pray, what is happening right now? Now the third thing is important. As you receive this grace, your work too – and the most important thing, evangelism – isn’t it ③ found within eternity of 24/25? Right?

From within this, Camp Stage 1 emerges.

Now, dismiss everything before you – of course you should receive the leading of the Holy Spirit – but because people miss this, things don’t work out. Members get drained while evangelizing. That’s not right. Whether evangelism works out or not, you must have strength. Right? The answer must come regardless of the fruit of evangelism. That is it. This year, you absolutely must not miss this. I’ve asked my secretaries several times. From now on, when receiving 237 (training), when receiving RU – if this is not certain, don’t receive it. You will probably want to flock just to receive the message. Don’t do that. Setting up true church leaders must not be done that way either. You have to make this certain and then establish them. If that happens, it will be extraordinary – if this is not certain, eliminate some. Postpone. So to the extent of receiving the leading of the Holy Spirit, RU has no enrollment date and no graduation date – that is the answer. When do you enroll? You enroll when this is certain for you. When do you graduate? You graduate when this is built. Why graduate when it hasn’t even been built? I don’t know if people understand this. It really is heartbreaking. Blessings are waiting for you in every place, yet people keep starting off wrong. A person who starts wrong is not bad – they just keep missing it. Most people are like that.

I’ve said it a few times before – you have to be clever about it. When I was doing Bible study at the Korea Telecom company, they couldn’t understand what I was saying. I told them to bring new family members, but they kept bringing old family members. It became a commotion. I was shocked. They were just bringing everyone. It had completely become a worship service. So the pastors in Korea rose up in arms. Think about it from their perspective. Why do people keep going there, they said. He doesn’t even come to the circuit meeting – why go there, they said. That’s how it became.

1. The Teachings of Jesus Christ

1) True Blessing (Matthew 5)
Jesus Christ taught what true blessing is. That is Matthew 5. You already know this, right? If you say it in one word, what is it? “The true blessing is that He has given you the kingdom of God as your inheritance.”

2) True Prayer (Matthew 6)
He explained true prayer. What is it? It’s the same word. It’s not complicated. “Your kingdom come” – “Seek His kingdom and His righteousness, and then” – He said it that way. That’s it, right? So you need to properly grasp something.

3) True Evangelism (Matthew 13)
What is true evangelism? Isn’t it Matthew 13? This one is chapter 6, and this one is chapter 5. Right now do you see yourself as a laborer working in the field – there is an enormous treasure buried underneath – to put it simply, do you see even a small amount of faith – what you have looks small, it looks like a mustard seed – but this becomes a forest.

4) Conclusion (John 14:16, John 14:26, John 16:13)
With what did He conclude? Isn’t it this? John 14:16 – the Counselor, the Holy Spirit – verse 26 – will remind you of all things – 16:13 – will be with you forever.

5) Final Message (Resurrection message)
And then He gave the final message. Isn’t this final message the resurrection message? Three things. “Go to all nations” – “I will always be with you” – “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me” – “Go to all people” – because the Lord who sits on the throne is with us, “they will place hands on the sick and they will recover” – and “go to the ends of the earth” – not “go and do this.” “You will be My witnesses.”

2. Message + Prayer → “Bartizan”

Once this is firmly in place, now what? Where do we go? Now things begin to move – and the first of those is that a bartizan is built within me. You absolutely, absolutely must not miss this. This is what is called prayer. Prayer is something tremendous. It is directed to God, and within me a bartizan is built.

1) Three Streams – Destiny
Now, the first thing not to miss here. The Triune God is operating in three streams. This reverses my destiny. This is the bartizan.

2) The Throne + My Background
Second, what is it? The background of the throne and my background. What must be done? My background is not needed. Because my background is needed, things don’t work out. The background of the throne – Paul graduated from the best university, but that was what was holding him back. That’s why he said with grief that he counted it as rubbish. Paul, in today’s terms – in terms of our country – was someone who graduated from Seoul National University. Fundamentally a smart person. A Pharisee. A member of the Sanhedrin council. Extraordinary. From Tarsus in Cilicia. A Roman citizen. He had everything there was to have. “I count these things as a loss,” he said. Why? Because of these things, he did not know Christ. The nation was about to perish. “Among sinners I am the worst” – he played the leading role in spreading the message that destroyed Israel. He came to realize that. The background of the throne – this is the second element of the bartizan.

3) Past, Present, Future
Third. My past, present, and future. This is in God’s hands. This is the bartizan.

4) Powerlessness + Five Powers
Fourth. My powerlessness and the five powers. It’s okay not to have ability. The five powers. This does not mean the former things are unnecessary. We have limits. The five powers.

5) Mission and Vessel
My mission and vessel. What is this? He gave me the power to break the authority of the ruler of the air. This is the mission. And I am the vessel that carries this out. This bartizan is enjoyed daily through prayer.

6) CVDIP
Within the answers of a lifetime, there is today. Important, right? That is what is called CVDIP. That’s it, right? This is what is certain.

7) Three Courtyards
And then what? My work, the church, and what God desires most – must be present. What is it? The three courtyards – this is the bartizan.

So today we’ll talk about evangelism, but at the next Tuesday gathering I will confirm how the Remnant should see this bartizan/journey/guidepost. Important, right? This is something you as evangelists must confirm. Right now the three things are being fulfilled, aren’t they? Salvation, answers, and the fulfillment of the Word are happening – and you must see the flow within that. Then my destiny gets turned upside down.

3. Eternity of 24/25 → “Stage 1 of Evangelism”

From this point, Stage 1 of evangelism begins. From this point, Stage 1 of business success begins.

1) Acts 2:9-11
Look at this. The called ones from 15 nations gathered together. This is the start. Looking at this, things begin – this is Stage 1. These are the people who succeeded. Right? These people came from other nations. Among them were visitors from Rome. There were those from poor nations. It was finished. When this was properly set in motion, two things happened – offerings overflowed. These people, so to speak, gave everything and left. These were not ordinary people. They had many friends and relatives. Then 3,000 disciples arose. That is how it happens. But when you remove this and look at other things, that is where the wrong start happens every day.

2) Acts 3:1-12
And immediately their eyes were opened. The lame man at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. A man known to all the world, all the Jews. Known by the high priests, scribes, many Herodians, and party members. “What I have I give to you – in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk” – look, Stage 1 is beginning.

3) Acts 11:19-21
A tremendous persecution arose, and within it the door of evangelism, the door of mission, began to open. It’s Antioch. Look at it this way. It’s simple, isn’t it? You have to go this way. Repeatedly going the wrong way the wrong way is exhausting. I am fortunately somewhat lazy. Many people think I’m diligent but that’s not the case at all. My hobby is playing. I enjoy playing. I don’t sleep much. How can I sleep when there’s no time to play? Because of that, I don’t act quickly. That’s actually fortunate. It helps at least a little in receiving leading. Because I’m lazy.

4) Acts 13:1-4
Look at this. Finally, waiting until the complete door opens. Look at this. This is it. Receiving this kind of answer, going into this. While fasting – anyone can see this is the leading of the Holy Spirit.

5) Acts 16:6-10
And as you know, the door was blocked. Good. That night they prayed through the night.

6) Acts 19:1-7
And before going to Rome, 19:1-7 – experiencing exactly the same movement that happened in the upper room. What happened in the upper room, what happened in Macedonia, before going to Rome – looking at this, I believe I saw the third heaven. Something completely unrelated to me, at a level different from my level – how is that? This is Stage 1. The blessing comes before it even happens in your church. When you’re doing this. Then naturally the next stage becomes Stage 2. That we’ll look at in Lecture 2. You must pay close attention.

7) Acts 17:1
This is not where it ended. To the synagogue – you have to go, right? Going there and only Christ…

8) Acts 18:4
To the synagogue – going there and what? Making known the prayer in the name of Christ who can solve all problems, the secret, the secret of worship.

9) Acts 19:8
To the synagogue – going there and making known what the answer is. The kingdom of God…

10) Acts 19:21
And finally, what? “I must also see Rome” – yes. It was finished.

This is Stage 1. Three things – you must now begin with margin. No matter how small the church, God’s answer is arising. If even a few people in that church rise up, history happens. Our church elders are here right now – if you firmly establish the three courtyards in that church, people will come even if you tell them not to. This way, because of you, other people too come alive.

Conclusion

Now, the important conclusion comes out.

1) Enjoyment – 3 Fulfillments
Enjoying this blessing. What do you enjoy? Enjoying the three things being fulfilled. You must absolutely not do other things. The Word is fulfilled, prayer is answered, and the history of salvation is accomplished – enjoying this. Reversing my destiny is enjoying the flow, and this is enjoying what continues uninterrupted.

2) Waiting – Stages 1, 2, 3 of Evangelism
Waiting. Enjoying and waiting. Waiting for what? Waiting until these stages become visible. They become visible. Business, evangelism, and the church must all go the same way.

3) Challenge – Natural, Necessary, Absolute
Challenging. Where must you challenge? There are three points here as well. You must challenge what naturally needs to be done. Right? The church roof is leaking – you have to stop the leak first – challenge what naturally must be done. Challenge what is truly necessary. At these times, it’s not about whether it works or not. Challenge the absolute. Even if we die, that’s okay. To that degree.

This is Lecture 1, but this is not a lecture for you. It is the blessing you must enjoy. To be precise, it is not my sermon. It is exactly the blessing God has given to us. If you miss all of this and press on hard trying to do something on your own, the harder you work the more you lose. So your churches are meant to come alive. The day one member begins receiving this answer, it continues to happen in succession. And because it started there in the early days, because these answers were visible, the members were alive and leaping, I tell you. So when people keep receiving answers, they keep starting wrong again. You are certainly the key figures for world evangelism, so I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ, that this blessing will be fulfilled through many prayers even in your free time.

Prayer. We give thanks to God. May today be a day when the movement of the throne takes place. In our time of prayer, may it arise throughout God’s kingdom, and may the work of God’s kingdom be fulfilled. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
