Hold onto What's Absolute

Acts 1:1-8. In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”

He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

The covenant of God given to us is complete and lacks nothing. God’s plan is absolute, and no one can change it. Why is that so?

From the beginning of history, mankind has lived under fundamental problems that no human being can solve: Satan (John 8:44), sin (Romans 3:23), and the background of hell, separated from God (Genesis 3:1–20). No philosophy, effort, religion, morality, or human achievement has ever been able to resolve these problems completely.

And yet, even after believing in God, we often ask:
“What should I do?”
“Should I pray harder?”
“Should I read the Bible more?”
“Should I repent more?”
“Should I give more?”
“Should I worship more faithfully?”
“How should I live?”

But the more important questions are:
“Where am I?”
“Am I inside God’s covenant?”
“Where should I stand spiritually?”

What you do will not matter much if you are in the wrong place spiritually. But if you are within the complete covenant of God, you will eventually discover that your present circumstances are not the most important thing. What matters is whether God is with you and whether you are holding onto His covenant.

When you discover the rightful reasons for everything through the Word of God and see what is truly needed, you will see and hold onto what is absolute: Christ (Acts 1:1), the kingdom of God (Acts 1:3), and the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).

This is why knowing God must become the utmost priority in our lives. The greatest blessing is not success, comfort, money, or recognition, but the Triune God being with us.

God the Father still speaks through His Word and fulfills it without fail.
God the Son, Jesus Christ, still breaks the power of sin, Satan, and hell.
God the Holy Spirit dwells within us, guides us, strengthens us, and works through us even now.

This is the spiritual reality we must first see.

Joseph experienced this complete covenant of God. Therefore, he remained at peace wherever he was. Whether in his father’s house in Canaan, as a slave in Potiphar’s house, as a prisoner in jail, or as a governor in Egypt’s palace, his circumstances never defined him. God’s presence did. Everywhere Joseph went, he experienced Immanuel and testified to the living God.

Likewise, your present circumstances are not the decisive issue as long as you remain in the complete covenant of God. When you enjoy the blessing of God being with you, you will begin to discover God’s absolute plan in every place, every event, every meeting, and every crisis.

Does doing well outwardly guarantee true success? Not necessarily.
Does struggling outwardly mean failure? Not necessarily.

If a person does not experience the spiritual blessings God has given in Christ, that person will eventually fail spiritually, no matter how successful life may appear outwardly. But if, like Joseph, a person enjoys the blessings within God’s complete covenant, that person will ultimately succeed in God’s eyes regardless of circumstances.

Throughout history, God continually gave, reminded, and restored His covenant through Christ because only Christ could solve mankind’s fundamental problems completely.

Only the True King could destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
Only the True Priest could remove the curse and penalty of sin through His sacrifice (Mark 10:45).
Only the True Prophet could open the way to meet God once again (John 14:6).

Jesus Christ finished that work completely on the cross (John 19:30). Through His death and resurrection, He solved the problems of our past, present, and future once and for all (Ephesians 2:1–3). He completely set us free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2). Now He lives within us through the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16), continually working to reveal “the incomparable riches of His grace” for all eternity (Ephesians 2:7).

When you hold onto only Christ, you will begin to experience the kingdom of God in your daily life. Then you will realize that problems are not merely problems. They become opportunities to experience God’s power and the realities of heaven. Even what once seemed like a curse can become a blessing within God’s plan.

Like Joseph, you will one day confess: “God sent me ahead of you” (Genesis 45:5). You will realize that God allowed certain problems, conflicts, delays, and hardships while never once leaving your side.

God’s intention toward His children is never destruction, but hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). He desires to fellowship with us daily and let us enjoy spiritual feasts with Him (Revelation 3:20).

Remember this carefully: nothing happens by accident in the lives of God’s people. God knows every circumstance you face. He understands your pain, your future, your weaknesses, and your limitations better than anyone else. And He loves you more deeply than you can imagine.

Therefore, trust in the God whose thoughts and ways are higher than yours. Live by faith in Jesus Christ, who loved you and gave Himself for you. This is life in the kingdom of God.

Then what remains for us?

The only thing left is to receive and enjoy the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus promised and go as Christ’s witnesses to the ends of the earth. Open your eyes to see the world covered in darkness, suffering, confusion, anxiety, and spiritual emptiness.

As children of God, we have received the anointing of Christ: With the anointing of the King, break the strongholds of Satan in the name of Jesus. With the anointing of the Priest, heal those suffering under sin, curses, and spiritual wounds. With the anointing of the Prophet, proclaim the way to meet God to those wandering without hope.

Let us restore the gospel of Christ everywhere we go (Acts 1:1). Let us continually enjoy the reality and blessings of God’s kingdom in our daily lives (Acts 1:3). And let us never stop proclaiming that Jesus is the Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).

Discover the “ends of the earth” within your present field. Wherever God places you today—that is your mission field. We only have one life to live, and life is too short to spend on things that do not matter eternally. God’s greatest desire is to save this age through the gospel and pass the covenant to the next generation.

Thus, remain firmly inside the complete covenant of God. Enter deeply into prayer that enjoys Christ until no person, circumstance, conflict, or condition can shake you or become your problem anymore.

Prayer. Father, help me hold firmly to what is absolute: Christ, the kingdom of God, and the filling of the Holy Spirit. Open my eyes to enjoy Your covenant in every circumstance and to discover Your absolute plan wherever I am. May I become a witness of Christ who saves others by the power of the gospel and fulfills Your mission to the ends of the earth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

♠ Introduction
There are three things to always remember when holding an evangelism camp.
There is a relative of mine in Busan who helped me a great deal and has a fairly good faith. He made a request of me – he asked me to buy a bus for Immanuel Church in Busan and come drive it. It came to me through family members, of course, and I flatly refused. I told him to work that out with the church, that is not something I do. Also, a few people, here and there, would mention my son – saying he preaches well, that blood runs true, things like that. I said nothing, but inside I thought, that has absolutely nothing to do with me.

Why am I saying this? When church members do evangelism, they must first receive answers. If asked to name the answer in one word, what is it? The leading of the Holy Spirit. Church members must feel the leading of the Holy Spirit. That is right. To speak of it concretely, you must be able to see it. That is the greatest answer. Paul fasted because of that, prayed without sleeping at night, and even saw visions – these things are recorded in the Bible.

This is the standard for our second camp today.
Church members must be able to see how great a blessing this is. That is the second thing for the camp. In a word, the first standard is to receive answers first, but what does it speak of? People, places, work – it came out that way. Simply put, you have tried the evangelism camp for a few days and it seems of little use. What kind of evangelism and place can I give my life to? Even if it takes time, the camp must begin with finding that.
Of course, you can do it even on the street. That is not to say it is bad – but what God truly wants must be done.

And now the second key is seeing this blessing, which is to say, expanding the church. It is about expanding what kind of church you will build. In some sense, the answer must become clear. Will I only do an evangelizing branch church here? Or will I continue evangelizing through the upper room foundation? Or is this region completely abandoned and I need to plant a church here? This second stage must be established. And at the very least, a disciple must arise from it. When a disciple arises, you can confirm it then – whether it is an evangelizing branch church, or a church that supports a self-supporting church through evangelism, or a church that supports our church, or an independent church. That must be confirmed.

Introduction: The Standard of 777 (Beginning – Healing)
But since these matters are important – what is the standard of 777 evangelism? What does it mean to evangelize with what? Among these, the blessing to be received, it is the beginning of evangelism. What would this beginning be? To summarize the Bible in one word, it came out as healing.

1) Health recovery (5 strengths)
So everyone needs healing that anyone can do, and the beginning of the greatest blessing needs to be shown as evidence. If any of you are sick, you must truly hold on to the covenant of health recovery. The standard is the 5 strengths. Not just wanting to be healthy like people of the world do unconditionally, but the 5 strengths that include spiritual strength, intellectual strength, physical strength, economic strength, and human strength.

2) Health delivery (healing)
When this is accomplished, you can easily deliver it to others. Is this delivery not in fact the real healing? Because you are delivering the grace you have received.

3) Healing system
So when thinking about doing evangelism properly, the third thing emerges. The idea is to build this healing system and sustain it. Even just a few people holding on to the covenant is enough.

The content of the blessing – Nephilim healing
What is the standard of this blessing, of this evangelism whose blessing is received first? Since it appeared here, what is this content? God has no choice but to bless. It is Nephilim healing. This is what brings God joy. The entire world is diseased with Nephilim culture. What is a shaman? Is it not a Nephilim? What are the three organizations? Are they not Nephilim? Why do they exert such power even in error? Muslims – are they not Nephilim? Because this is what has been rescued from within it, God has no choice but to bless. So when you go into the evangelism field and look around, the first thing you must see is healing.

Main – Three healings
What kind of healing? Within the content of this blessing, the most important thing is three healings. You will do these. Once you begin, God will bless. The first thing that must happen is ① darkness healing. Then going there, ② field healing. When this happens, evangelism fruit continues to occur. Ultimately this must be built in the field as well, but you also build it in the church – ③ church healing. This is absolutely necessary.

1. Darkness Healing
Now, can we not do this?
1) Satan’s 12 strategies
They are caught in Satan’s 12 strategies. Unbelievers are caught in Satan’s 12 strategies. But the bigger problem is this – we have come out from there. We have been set free. We are set free and yet we are still in it. This is no ordinary problem. We have come out of Genesis chapter 3, and yet I am still in Genesis chapter 3? This is no small matter. Since I have come out of Genesis chapter 3, the blessing God has given is so great that my own opinion is not needed. I cannot live according to my own opinion – this is no ordinary problem. For example, if a king fails to do the things of a king, that is no ordinary problem that comes. If a police officer does not do the work of a police officer, this is no ordinary problem. How should we put it? A police officer not doing police work – we have come out of there. This must absolutely be said to unbelievers, and it must be said to believers as well.

2) Matthew 12:26-30, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
If you just leave it alone, this is what happens. Satan has built a bartizan. What a remarkable thing. And it does not end there. He has even built a fortress. So no matter what, no matter what you do, nothing works. No matter how devout, no matter how uprightly you live, no matter how many good deeds you do, it does not work. Why? Because you cannot come out. In some sense, if you are trapped here and doing good deeds, you are an even worse person. Is that not so? A person following a robber around who is extremely obedient – that is an even better robber. Right? A person following a robber should not be obedient. That way the robbery does not happen. A person who boarded a pirate ship who is extremely skilled – that is an even better pirate.

3) 2 Corinthians 4:4-5, John 16:11-14
If it ended there it would be alright. But this is literally the god of this world. They belong to him.

Our many Remnants and church leaders must decide. Almost all of them suffer, study, earn money, do none of the Lord’s work, only continue doing worldly work, and then die. How tragic. In John 16:11-14, the ruler of this world – they have come to belong to him. This is the first part of darkness healing. The moment this part is understood, the answer comes. Right? This is not something practiced – the moment it is understood, “Ah, I see!” Our Remnant thinks, “So that is how it is. Looking at the adults, they suffer like that in the world until they die, do none of the Lord’s work, cannot even live their faith rightly, and die like that. That is Satan’s errand. I will receive 300% answers and evangelize the world!” Even just doing this much is enough. This is not a matter of practice or effort. It is enough to hear this fact and believe it.

Then the Word comes rushing alive. “The offspring of the woman will strike the head of the serpent” – the Word must come alive and reach me in this way. What a remarkable thing. “The Son of God appeared for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil” – then it strikes you forcefully. “He also called them that he might give them authority to cast out demons” – you come to understand what this means. Otherwise you do not know what it means. Even though Jesus said it, you do not know what it means. Is this really a theory about demons, what is this? Unable to understand. “I give you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy” – why? Because without doing so, darkness healing cannot happen. Please believe it. You must believe the covenant that you can heal the world. And you must do so with confidence. If necessary, pastors should hold a separate healing worship service. You already have the main worship services scheduled, right? Whether at 10:30 or 11:00 – do those, and then hold a separate healing worship service. There must also be a genuine Remnant worship service, and a separate multi-ethnic worship service. Make time specifically for these. Otherwise the accurate message does not go out. People take the message lightly, but the message is everything. This year, the work of God truly coming alive church by church must happen in your churches.

2. Field Healing
Now, this is where the real thing starts to happen. What has occurred here?
1) Leading of the Holy Spirit – field darkness (Acts chapters 13/16/19)
The first thing accomplished through the leading of the Holy Spirit – what did it do? It broke the darkness in the field first. That (darkness healing) is somewhat of an abstract conversation that transcends time and space, but this breaks the darkness of the actual field first. This was always done. Then within Acts chapters 13/16/19, you can confirm where it is. Acts 19:1-7 – the darkness was broken first.

2) Nephilim – Acts chapters 13/16/19
And what came after was the Nephilim healing I mentioned earlier. It is the work of the Holy Spirit. Without this, these people cannot be saved. That is why God blessed Paul unconditionally. Someone who came for a meeting the day before yesterday had exactly the same answer as my first service sermon. A really good person, but their ancestors going back generations were shamans. Because of that, they had children, and the children were abnormal. How difficult that must be. And another family member’s mind is also not right. The person themselves has done nothing wrong, they are trying to live a good life of faith – and so many people are full of that. And even without such illness, it is there in other ways, unseen. So I told them the first service sermon is the answer. Look at the first service sermon – first hold on to the covenant and be certain, and then what? Break all darkness with ten miracles. Even if that does not work, offer the blood sacrifice, hold on to the covenant. And since it is long-standing, do not look at it simply but truly hold on to it. You must hold on to it completely as a calling. Look at Nephilim healing in the same way. You all know this well, so do it.

3) Hidden healing – Acts chapters 17/18/19
And then, looking ahead to an enormous future, the hidden healing effectively begins. This is in fact the synagogue. In the field, healing the sick, even doing darkness healing – this is what God wants. So there is no need to pray other prayers. Keep doing just this and God’s work will happen. And you must not miss it. Now also, for making our newspaper, since Pastor Jeong Hyeon-guk does it well, let me briefly say – receive completely the leading of the Holy Spirit, there is no need to keep using methods. Once you start using methods, there is no end to it.

There is a pastor I know, a very capable man in Busan, who has placed his family members at key positions. Remarkable, right? That part is fine. But of the 8 session members, all 8 are his nephews. The session meetings go very smoothly. Even that outstanding pastor was like that. No ordinary relationship. Complete opposite of the leading of the Holy Spirit. One day, he created a British mission society. I asked why he was making a British mission society, and he said his son was going to England. Truly beyond help. The congregation was turned upside down. What can you do? You cannot kill him. Why do things like that? The leading of the Holy Spirit, the work of the Holy Spirit, the fruit of the Holy Spirit – these alone are sufficient. Understood? Now you must do real evangelism. Then as far as I know – whether you go, there is an answer; whether you come, there is an answer; even when a problem comes, an even greater answer comes. That is how it is. Because so many answers come, the people around make a mistake. That is a bit of a problem. They think I am someone great. It is truly a mistake. I enjoy these blessings. Some people say meeting the pastor is a miracle from heaven – what kind of miracle? That can happen to anyone. They are seeing it wrong. If we know just this, the answer comes. So begin praying now.

3. Church Healing
How must church healing be done?
1) 24/25/eternity – the three courtyards (John 2:12-25)
Not three courtyards. The three courtyards of 24/25/eternity – this is the true church. God originally had it this way, but the Jews changed it, didn’t they? The three-day weekend age – the standard for this is John 2:12-25. Jesus became angry at those inspecting animals and carrying on. On the final night as Jesus crossed over the mountain, blood flowed brightly through that stream. It was the blood of the lambs slaughtered in the Jerusalem temple. Jesus crossed that drainage channel. What an astounding thing. High priests Annas and Caiaphas, father-in-law and son-in-law, who seized Jesus and brought him to be humiliated – they had Jesus brought and seized him to humiliate him. Why? Because he had criticized the selling of animals. That is to say, he insulted the three courtyards – how dare you insult me? The world is quite interesting.

2) The three-day weekend age (Acts 1:3)
The three-day weekend age must be grounded in Acts 1:3. Also the Sabbath must be grounded. Combining all of that – the three-day weekend age.

3) The holy meditation age
And then the holy meditation age that changes the world. In some sense, doing these three things is what it takes. Something happening suddenly is not good. It will come to be. It is the recovery of God’s blessing that has been completely lost in this age.

So it is not about evangelizing Europe – no. There are so many people with spiritual problems that when a message is delivered once, God’s work happens. Have you not been? South America – one message delivered and things start breaking out. Once I went to Africa, and thousands had gathered, and as I was giving the message, people were just still, no reaction. So I was worried – am I delivering this in a way these people cannot understand? I asked the missionary. I asked – these people were singing like that, and now I am giving the message, why are they so still? They are not even saying amen. The missionary then said these people go still when they are shocked. Those people heard the gospel and were shocked. That is how much they have not been hearing the gospel. Not because we are doing well, but they had never heard Christ spoken of in such a way that they were so moved. And for those with spiritual problems, the response comes rushing. People get healed while continuing to hear this message. This must always be remembered. This is the second standard of the church camp.

♠ Conclusion: “Field Blessing”
What is even more important is that the revival of field blessing remains. It definitively remains.
1) Acts 13:12
A governor like this – this person completely begins to understand upon seeing the covenant. When this happens, it cannot be stopped. A different answer comes out.

2) Acts 16:19-40
After healing the demon-possessed person, in verses 19-40, God worked in the prison. It became an uproar. God’s work happened in the prison. Now, starting with the jailer there – “What must I do to be saved?” The words that came out then were “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household” – it came from here. At that time, the prison warden had arrested, imprisoned, and beaten a person with Roman citizenship, and Paul later brought that out.

3) Acts 19:20
Having done this ministry for two years, all of Tyrannus, is that not Ephesus? God’s work happened there. Not only did the sick rise up, but all the idol worship was burned, and it became an uproar. And what was said was “I must also see Rome” – in field evangelism, this picture must always be drawn.

This is the final part of the second camp system. And we will also do the actual camp. This (first point) is naturally what happens at the beginning, and this (third point) is what happens afterward, but the actual camp is this (second point). So those of you hearing today’s message, make your decision.

For example, the associate pastors or elders of Immanuel Seoul Church, who are worshiping nearby – there is no need to deliberate. Without saying a word to anyone, decide: in which region will I open an evangelism camp? Try to decide. Strange things will happen. That is remarkable. I have not been surprised just once or twice as I have experienced these things. This keeps coming as answers to this day. No matter what anyone says, the Word of God must be fulfilled – everything else is useless. No matter how great a thing I have done, once it passes it is finished. The Word of God must be fulfilled. When your life comes to an end, this must remain. From there, workers begin to emerge one after another. So sometimes I feel excitement as I go – “What will have been prepared?” To that degree.

As I always say, in Busan I fixed on a specific place – since the Saha district is the biggest, I will go there – and tried this. Because Saha was decided, what is complete Holy Spirit guidance? I began to prepare starting with that. I was amazed. I went and knew right away. About 70% of them are young adult women with nowhere to go. What time was this? Most of these people have only completed elementary school. They are having a very hard time. Working, and the characteristic is they are not from Busan. Now they finish and stay in dormitories. They move around a bit. Simply put – I needed to make it possible for them to share the gospel, study the Bible, and also study academically. For that to happen, what was needed? A place these people could come to. Then the camp currently being set up needed to be done. That was the first thing. I went and was amazed. God had prepared it exactly. When I went, three people had already been prepared. One of my college classmates was there. It turned out he was the son of a wealthy family in Saha. I did not know that during school, but that was the case. So his younger brother was running a large factory, and he himself had a large building – it was like that. When I spoke, without even a moment’s hesitation, he answered. For this large building, I don’t know about other things, but use one floor freely – it was enormous. And when I looked at another place, one elder had built a church inside a factory. All the disciples from that industrial complex could be gathered. Another person – I went somewhere and came to a large restaurant, and there was a younger person who had been with me in the old days. He was the head of that neighborhood. So there was a hall and he said I could use the hall. It became an uproar. That was the first set-up. At that point, for the second stage, anyone could go. God’s work was beginning to happen. I truly experienced this – Busan started to rise up. Strange, right? All of Busan rose up. Telling people not to evangelize – I saw something remarkable, and because of that wind, I received the answer of meeting all of you. Because of that wind, I stopped going to those rushed revival meetings I was chasing every day. You cannot evangelize there. You go and must say the same things. What was said here, you go and say again there. You cannot evangelize.

Right now in your hearts – pastors can continue their ministry. It is not saying to go out and evangelize while fully doing your pastoral ministry. Right now, in which region will you properly open a camp? Once this is opened, no one can stop it. When this work happens, from that point the evangelism movement will begin to happen on its own. And then among the disciples God has hidden, they are mostly all within the Remnant. That is the second thing.

Let us rest briefly, and then I will lecture on the third thing – the answers you must begin from now. Completely enjoy and build it within prayer. We will take a 10-minute break.

Discover What's Most Needed

Acts 2:41-47. Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

You will discover what is most needed when you realize the rightful reasons behind your present circumstances and mission field.

Then, complaints and blame will disappear. Instead of being trapped by problems, conflicts, or crises, you will begin to see God’s plan within them. You will realize what truly matters in life and what God desires for you to do. That is when your life starts to gain direction, meaning, and eternal value.

When Moses’ mother, Jochebed, understood the rightful reason for Israel’s slavery under Egypt, she realized what was needed the most—not political power or human methods, but a spiritual leader who would restore the covenant of God to His people (Exodus 3:1–10). Because of that, she devoted herself to raising Moses in faith.

When Moses finally understood the rightful reasons for the failures and wilderness of his eighty years, he saw what the world needed the most—the restoration of the blood sacrifice and the covenant of deliverance (Exodus 3:18). His suffering was not meaningless. God had prepared him through it all.

When the young David saw the humiliating condition of God’s people before Dagon, the god of the Philistines, he discerned God’s heart and longed for the restoration of God’s glory through the temple (Acts 13:22). While others only saw Goliath, David saw the spiritual reality behind the crisis.

The same pattern continued throughout history. Elijah and Elisha lived in the age of Rimmon, the god of Aram. Hezekiah stood against Baal and Asherah in the age of Assyria. Daniel and his three friends faced Bel and Nebo in Babylon. The Early Church, Paul, and Timothy proclaimed Christ in the age of Zeus and the idols of Rome.

They all saw the rightful reasons for the disasters, darkness, and spiritual collapse of their times. At the same time, they realized what God desired most—the restoration of the gospel, His church, and His evangelists.

What the world needs most today has not changed.

People need the One who crushed the head of the serpent (Genesis 3:15). The only way to escape the disasters that have come upon the world is to enter the Ark of Christ (Genesis 6:14). The only secure place on earth is under the blood of the Lamb (Exodus 12:13). True happiness is found only in being with God, Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14). The greatest blessing in life is to know and confess that Jesus is the Christ (Matthew 16:16).

This is the gospel we must restore right where we are.

Today, many churches have lost, distorted, diluted, or stopped proclaiming the true gospel that Jesus is the Christ. As a result, the church has become weak and powerless, scattered and influenced by the world. The precious people of God are treated as something common and worthless, like cheap clay jars made by a potter (Lamentations 4:1–2). This should grieve our hearts.

For this reason, God desires to restore the glory of His church by the power of the Holy Spirit, just as He did through the Early Church (Acts 2:1–47). He wants His church to embrace world missions, as the church in Antioch did (Acts 11:19–30). He wants His evangelists to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth, as the workers mentioned in Romans 16.

When you hold onto what is needed most, God will prepare predestined meetings and doors for evangelism.

God arranged Philip’s meeting with the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26–40). Through one meeting, God not only changed one man’s eternal destiny but also opened the door for the gospel to enter Africa.

God also orchestrated Paul’s meeting with Priscilla and Aquila (Acts 18:1–3). They became lifelong co-workers in the gospel, even risking their lives for Paul. Through their devotion, many Gentile churches were strengthened and established (Romans 16:3–4).

Do not spend your life only pursuing temporary things on earth. Discover what is needed most. Begin where you are, even if it seems small. Do not be discouraged by your circumstances, weaknesses, or the people around you. God will strengthen you and lead you to accomplish everything He desires through your life.

Prayer. Father, help me realize again and again that the only true answer the world needs is the gospel. Open my eyes to see what is most needed in my mission field. Fill me with Your strength and the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that I may accomplish everything You desire through my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Confession of Faith
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
And is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy universal Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body
And life everlasting. Amen.

Answers First

Prayer Journal: May 25, 2026

『Answers First 』 (Acts 13:1-4)

We are now beginning a new evangelism movement.

Three Preparations
RU, General Assembly, RTS, MRTS (military/police), church, individuals
No fruit, no answer, church decline

①I mentioned this when reporting on RU. ②At the General Assembly camp, it needs to be done that way going forward. Currently, ③RTS is also doing evangelism, and it needs to be done that way too. And there is ④MRTS — that’s our organization of soldiers and police. Also, ⑤in your actual churches, evangelism movements need to be renewed, and ⑥individuals need to do the same.

So if we are going to run a proper evangelism movement, three things must be prepared at camp.

If these three things are not prepared, this situation will come.

①No fruit – The camp is held but there is no fruit afterward. Why would we hold such a camp? Most of the time, there is no fruit.

②No answer – So the congregation members cannot receive answers. If a camp is held but no answers are received, is that acceptable?

③Church decline – And in reality, the number of churches and church members decreases. We must break out of this quickly.

As an easy example, if the three biblical camp preparations are not done, what happens? You simply start a church plant. Will that work? You find a building, depending on your situation. You now have hope, or to put it nicely, you have faith, but nothing gets resolved. Later on, paying off the debt from getting that one building is already hard. Because this is what’s happening — I confirmed this with the secretaries last week — empty churches throughout all of Korea are packed full. Churches with fewer than 300 members don’t even need to build a sanctuary. They can go and buy one. People are offering them at incredibly low prices. And it’s not just one or two — there are dozens in one area. And there are buildings where they say: please just use our building, we have a conscience so we won’t sell to unbelievers, just keep using it as our church, use all the chairs as they are, use all the facilities as they are, just pay us a little each month — 1 million won, that’s it. That situation itself is absurd, but we are doing something wrong right now. And that’s what we’re going to change.

So with that clearly in mind — to give the conclusion first — RU, our Korean RU admissions this time will not accept just anyone. We will only accept those who have committed their lives to holding camps in the golden zone, blind spot, and disaster zone that will revive the church. Then the answers will come first. Right? We need to receive answers before we can do anything. We’re not running a business, so how do we survive without answers? Actually, you shouldn’t even run a business that way. If you keep doing something that isn’t working, you’ll get sick — what do you do then? We must always remember this. This is the area where you are failing the most. It’s the area where you are most capable, yet failing the most. So even the so-called smart church leaders, or the fairly capable church leaders — when I receive reports on evangelism, I laugh inside. They’re missing everything. They’ve put together something enormous. Your eyes hurt just reading it. But what is the one thing that’s needed right now? That’s exactly what’s missing. Danghiljeol is missing. The obvious/inevitable/absolute is missing. Of course it doesn’t work. That’s what we call wasted effort. Business must be done the same way. Right? Even if I’m running a small restaurant, it must be danghiljeol. If I’m just running a business to make money, what do I do when the money isn’t coming in?

So evangelism must start over.

The General Assembly camp cannot be done that way. There truly is a golden zone, blind spot, and disaster zone in a given area — there needs to be a conviction that a church must be planted there. A camp must be held to plant that church perfectly. Then God will attach disciples. That’s where the answer comes from.

Looking at what people are doing now, there’s no need for God to attach anything. They already received their answer, so what? “I tried it once” — you tried it, didn’t you? That’s the answer. “I put my name out there once” — your name got out there, didn’t you? That’s the answer. No need to receive anything more. Right? They keep using humanism to build their networks. They’ve already received all their answers. You built your network, didn’t you? That’s the answer. After that, there’s no need for answers. It’s a difficult thing to say, but once you understand it, it’s over. It’s actually very simple.

I served as an associate pastor for over ten years. Why do I need to promote myself? Why do I need to push beyond my limits? There’s no need. Just do what you’re told day to day, quietly carry out the evangelism movement, run the life-transformation movement, and there will be people who want to evangelize. Those people — it’s not a secret — they just communicate outside, at the evangelism field. This time, this must absolutely be resolved. This year is an extremely important year, and now only the people who need to evangelize have gathered. That’s good. We don’t need to badmouth the people who have parted from us. Help them, pray sincerely for them to do well. If they don’t do well, how does that help? So we want to evangelize — there’s no other reason.

RTS is the same. RTS needs to be a bit more professional. Truly, camps must begin with fields that ordinary congregation members cannot reach. The answer is to let God work. This has nothing to do with character or ability. No matter how good your character, if you’re pushing it with that good character, the good character itself becomes the problem. Right? No matter how capable you are, if you’re pushing ahead in a direction that’s misaligned with God, your capability becomes the problem. Isn’t that right? Are we not children of God? Then we look to what God is doing. Last Sunday’s sermon — “Stand still and see the salvation the Lord will accomplish for you; the Lord will fight for you” — this is the important message of crossing the Red Sea. To put it precisely, they didn’t just happen to encounter the Red Sea. God sent them there. Right? The wicked Egyptian army didn’t just come on their own. God used that wicked king, hardened his heart, and made him go. That’s what the Bible says, right? Why would that be? This is the answer. If you keep looking for the wrong answer, there is no answer. So we receive the answer first. You must quickly catch what I am explaining to you overall.

MRTS has soldiers and police packed in there. Those people have a separate seminary just for themselves. Elder Kim Ki-ho requested that since everyone is a soldier, could you make it accessible to everyone. I’m saying don’t do that. I’m saying it because I want it to go well. Right? I want it to be done well. But in reality, it cannot be done that way. MRTS — please don’t have just anyone come. That’s how it needs to go. “We’re going to do real evangelism. Come if you’re a soldier who truly wants to evangelize. Police matter. Those are the people we want. Only those people come.” If you present it that way — haven’t you ever tried sales? If you come across too much like a salesman, sales don’t happen.

Now at the church, I’m going to speak about this at the youth retreat. Your worship — just coming, gathering, going — that itself is the church, isn’t it the church’s revival and evangelism? People come and go because they want to hear the pastor’s message, people come because of the church atmosphere — isn’t that the church? If the sanctuary is a bit larger with better facilities, more people come — isn’t that how it is? You go and it’s comfortable, it’s nice, the church parking lot is large — so more people come. But that cannot be called evangelism. That’s simply the existing vessel. Someone must be planning evangelism, centered around the church pastor and the session. What I was talking about earlier — that’s evangelism. There’s a disaster zone right there, so why are you standing still? The young adults and the associate pastors need to open their eyes to this. Why are you leaving the disaster zone alone? The blind spot — you’re not going there, are you? So if there’s a golden fishing ground and you leave it a little while, it becomes a blind spot. It’s the same thing. You go to the golden fishing ground and you prevent it from working. You must let it work. You just need to catch one thing, but you keep preventing it from working. You grab hold of a message, think “this is right, I need to apply it to the congregation,” and proceed like that. You must first be a messenger so that this message is delivered with grace to the congregation. At least one or two people must come out saying “Oh, yes, that’s it!” — you cannot just do it blindly.

The reason I’m speaking so earnestly is because you are prepared evangelists — now you truly must do it. Please truly do it. Don’t rush to get a building first. I absolutely believe that should not be done. Because of that, apparently there are massive amounts of church chairs piling up at general stores. Why? Churches that own their building can just leave their chairs there, but churches that were renting have to clear out their chairs. This is the miserable reality we are facing. Aren’t there plenty of church buildings in America and Europe? They’re overflowing. If the elders were truly praying about this, their eyes would have been opened, but they’re not being opened. So in the case of Pastor Park Se-gwang — he bought a building as soon as he arrived because there was something so good available. That’s right. I remember back when an elder from New Jersey came to drive me around — he said there was nowhere to buy a church building. He said they’d been waiting for decades and nothing came up. That would be the case. You must be able to see what God has prepared.

Introduction – First, make 777 prayer a way of life

Let me stop nagging and get into it. This is the introduction. First, regardless of any answers, we must make this part (777) a way of life. To begin with, without doing anything else — with this — we simply ①establish a prayer bartizan. Regardless of whether it works or doesn’t. Regardless of when it happens. We establish a prayer bartizan. Ultimately, it’s not an individual prayer that gets answered — it’s the prayer bartizan that receives the answer. Right? Ultimately, it’s not that someone gets sick because things went wrong in a worldly sense. A bartizan capable of receiving sickness was established. That’s why it comes. Ultimately, ②we continue the journey with prayer. ③This (the prayer guidepost) is simply the basic path forward.

1) Prayer bartizan (imprint — the watchman’s absolute bartizan)
This must be imprinted. As you know, when it is imprinted, the watchman’s absolute bartizan emerges. If it hasn’t been imprinted, it cannot happen, can it? Because a bartizan is formed, even left alone, it becomes the watchman’s absolute bartizan. There are people who, every time they open their mouths, complain about others, and every time they open their mouths, speak words of unbelief — for those people, that has been imprinted and become their absolute bartizan. Their future is now in trouble.

2) Journey of prayer (root — the pilgrim’s absolute bartizan)
Simply continue this journey of prayer. As you walk it, does not what has been imprinted take root? Then it becomes not merely a watchman’s level, does it? The pilgrim’s absolute bartizan is established. God will prepare everything.

3) Prayer guidepost (constitution — the revival’s absolute bartizan)
Then as we walk by this prayer guidepost — the guidepost, this is the answer. This guidepost comes fully into my life. It must become my life, not something I just think through in my head — like running a restaurant kitchen. Life must be built around it. At this point, the revival’s absolute bartizan is established.

So Immanuel Church, or your church, or any church — they’re all already formed, so they will go according to their form. Congregation members aren’t thinking much about it. They just come to worship and leave. Someone must grab hold of the message and build a system through which the church can move toward world evangelization. So without making it too difficult, let me give just one example. “I want to start an evangelism movement at our church” — for this, you don’t even need permission. You need permission for other things, but do you ask permission to go and evangelize? When you take congregation members with you, you need permission, but for just going out to evangelize on your own, for just praying on your own — do you ask permission to pray? Do you go to the session and say, “May I pray tomorrow?” Just do it.

Now, the important thing is that this first session is the first of the three preparations.

Then in the afternoon, we will cover the second and third of the three preparations.

Main – Urgency

So the most urgent thing for congregation members is that they must receive answers first.

1. The highest promise of Christ

So there is the highest promise of Christ. Congregation members must come to recognize this. “Ah, I see!” You must come to recognize this. These are the words Jesus spoke after completing everything.

1) John 14:16
He said He would send the Holy Spirit, the Helper, to us — it is finished. That is why we pray. Everything comes from here.

2) John 14:26
He said He would send the Holy Spirit, the Helper, to us, and He would be with us forever…

3) John 16:13
He will guide us, bring things to remembrance, and cause us to remember what we have learned and understood.

4) John 20:22
In John 20:22, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” What answer do you sense here? It means to truly enjoy the Holy Spirit. Like breathing — that is being filled with the Holy Spirit. Simply thinking about being filled with the Holy Spirit is fine too, but actually I am enjoying this fullness of the Holy Spirit and prayer. Shouldn’t congregation members first come to experience this?

5) Acts 1:1
And then what? Christ finished everything.

6) Acts 1:3
From now on, what remains is the blessing of the throne coming upon us — the blessing we enjoy.

7) Acts 1:8
From this point, a 300% power of being filled with the Holy Spirit arises. From this point, world evangelization begins to happen.

Now, congregation members also miss this here. How do they miss it? They keep trying to do things their own way. There is no real urgency — if your church isn’t growing quickly, does your whole household collapse? That’s not the case, is it? You can wait a little. You truly need to wait for the Holy Spirit’s leading, but people aren’t doing this. That’s why Jesus said to wait. You have a habit. Whatever it is, you have to do it fast — the moment something comes to mind, you have to act on it immediately according to your own thinking. That is your habit. Congregation members are the same. Congregation members have it even worse. More so than you. And among all cities across the country, Seoul is the fastest. Why? Because you have to survive. Being fast is good — but this is not a call to go slowly. The answer that must naturally come will come. Wait. Enjoy it, because the answer is already there. The answer is already given — the question is when I act on it. This is the most important thing in the evangelism movement.

Our country — remarkably — has scientists developing space technology and weapons that astonish other nations, weapons that shock China, weapons that amaze Japan. Korea is fast. Isn’t that incredible? The people working on these things aren’t working with some enormous overall plan in mind. Why? They know the whole plan. The problem is today. They’ve been enjoying this today — this very crucial today. That’s truly praiseworthy, isn’t it? The people working in our country. Because we are human, we can easily start thinking about what comes later. We want to handle that too the way it is. Oh, I’ve got debts to pay, and so on — these thoughts come. You must not act because of those thoughts. And so if you’re not careful, you miss the reality in which God is working right now. This is important. Congregation members can’t do this — it’s difficult. Congregation members need to believe this. Only then will your preaching come alive and work in that person.

2. The first answer

Now, the first answer begins to follow this answer in earnest. When you start a camp, when you begin an evangelism movement or begin your life — you go in having already made a decision about this part. Three Bible passages you know well: ①Acts 13:1-4 — camp begins. ②Acts 16:6-10. ③Acts 19:1-7 — camp has begun. You must receive this answer.

1) Acts 13:1-4
What did they do? They received complete guidance from the Holy Spirit. They waited. They concentrated. Even fasting because it was so important — I’m not telling you to fast. But to that degree. And three things emerged: (1) a person, (2) a place, (3) a work — clearly revealed. Even if we fail after that, we can’t — there is simply no way to fail. The Holy Spirit clearly gave a person, a place, and a work. We must always look at this. Receiving this answer is the first element of the evangelism camp, and even as we continue, we keep looking at this and going in search of it.

2) Acts 16:6-10
At first, (1) they went and evangelized in Asia, but God was saying that this wasn’t all of it. Then (2) He closed the door. At this point people make another mistake. When the door is closed, they either fight it to the end, or they give up. People who have studied a bit fight to the end. Why? Because that’s what they were taught. People who haven’t studied as much give up because they have too many failure experiences. These days people are fighting like crazy in the National Assembly — most of them are from conservative presbyterian backgrounds. Not that it’s bad — that’s what they were taught. “You must do it until you die, you must do it even if you die” — that’s what they studied. The somewhat better ones, the clever ones, are a little less so, and those who fully committed go and do the same thing there too. They’re still doing it now, aren’t they? That cannot be done. Fighting with all your might using your own ability, or giving up — those two are the same kind. Their fundamental root is the same. Because the center is self. Right? “I can do it,” “I cannot do it” — both of those are wrong. The center is self. God can do it. That is our faith. The door was closed — but here, they find a remarkably new (3) turning point. You know this, but you’re not doing it. You must do it. So the camp date doesn’t matter. We keep holding camps until this emerges. When we come to church and hold forums, congregation members begin to receive grace. The Holy Spirit begins to work. But because we need to be specific, the first camp is held so that this part becomes visible.

3) Acts 19:1-7
And now the final important camp was held…
(1) Calvary/Mt Olive/Upper Room – In Acts 19:1-7, the three — Calvary, Mt Olive, and the Upper Room — were completely restored.
(2) Tyrannus – And then they found the very, very important Tyrannus school and entered the synagogue and the lecture hall. They entered with precise guidance — into the synagogue and the lecture hall. How well was this first camp done? Three months, then two years. Those three months were the first camp, and the two years were the second camp.
(3) Rome preparation – Here, Rome was prepared. At the end you see: “I must also see Rome!”

This preparation is what will now be done in RU, RTS, and MRTS going forward. We’ll be giving message materials and holding forums, but you need to know the whole picture so that you can think: “This year our church needs to be revived this way.” If possible, since our headquarters is accessible via internet, it would be great if you could post some questions when you hold your Tuesday gatherings. Please don’t feel embarrassed — just ask practical questions, the things you find difficult. If you post them, I find them enormously helpful when preparing messages over the course of a month.

3. (Through camp/evangelism) 300% is confirmed (obvious/inevitable/absolute)

Now, as we hold camps and do evangelism, how much answer do we receive? 300% is confirmed. We’ll do 200% in a later session. But it must be confirmed. By what is it confirmed? This is very important. What is the standard of confirmation? As I mentioned earlier, finding the obvious, inevitable, and absolute — that is the standard of 300%. It is always there. Sometimes when you pray this prayer, it can begin immediately. Right? But there is no urgency. When even one of your disciples enters a place, that entire region must be completely revived. Because of one Lydia, the church in Philippi. Because of Jason, the church in Thessalonica. These churches just burst into life like that.

1) Me
Where must the obvious, inevitable, and absolute appear? In me. In that case, you don’t need to go far — there’s so much of it in your surroundings, inside the church. You’ve become an associate pastor, and there’s a lot of errand-running to do as an associate pastor, right? So where to go for the evangelism field — this becomes a task for me. But it’s not difficult. Target new members. When you look at new members, there are two types. Most of them are just church-hopping — about 80 to 90% are just coming to church. So what should you do? You can just wait until danghiljeol becomes visible in them, but there’s nothing you can do about that. However, among them are those who are prepared. You must not miss those people. You’re missing all of them. Studying with new members — that’s necessary. But that’s just a formality. The real thing is to bring that person to life.

So at Samhwa earlier, I found two disciples. This is a disciple. God prepared it. They understood what I was saying right away. That was enough. The ministry room was fairly large, right? I sat them down right there and gave them the message. Just a few weeks later, they had brought about 30 people. The ministry room was inevitably getting a bit cramped. Right in front of the ministry room there was a prayer sanctuary that was like an open floor where you could sit — you take off your shoes and pass through it to get to the ministry room. So we said, let’s just do it in the sanctuary, and we put up a chalkboard and gave those young people clear messages on the gospel and on prayer. What would happen then? It just became unstoppable. With just those young people — setting aside everyone else — with just those young adults, there were 300 in attendance at the all-night prayer meeting. They gave their tithes exactly as the Word says. Where would you find congregation members like that? There are countless people who come to church without tithing, yet they all gave their tithes. For what was obvious, inevitable, and absolute in me — I did nothing. Because God sent the disciples, and I met them and took interest and gave them messages — that part is right, isn’t it? Right? Because they understood what I was saying, I spoke to those two sisters. “What would be the real reason you’re here, the reason you were sent here?” Looking at both of them — they had come from Jeolla Province. “Why would you have come all the way here from Jeolla Province? So your family line, the field where you are — you cannot leave that alone. That’s why He called you!” Absolute mission. It’s always danghiljeol. This isn’t difficult — it brings grace. When you encounter something like this, it brings grace.

2) Church
And work at the church doesn’t need to be made difficult either. There is danghiljeol inside the church. The church has been doing so many pointless things, elders are fighting and pushing their own agendas, the church is in complete chaos. At that time I made a suggestion to the pastor. The pastor was losing all his energy. I said, “Pastor, our church has many people of mission. I will find those people of mission.” He asked how. “Let’s do an evangelism school,” I said. Not a total mobilization — that doesn’t work. “We need an evangelism school to raise disciples.” We formally established an evangelism school. Through this, disciples and people of mission began to rise. I didn’t do anything remarkable — I just did what was natural. And these people need to know why they come to church, why they must live a life of faith, don’t they? You can give this to them through the message alone. The inevitable — it’s all been given. The mission has been given. The absolute — it emerges, doesn’t it? This is the kind of camp we start from now. When the afternoon’s second and third sessions are done, one clear answer will emerge.

3) Field
Naturally, when you go to the field — naturally, the easiest people to reach are the sick. It’s obvious, isn’t it? These people don’t argue. If you give them something helpful, they’ll come. Because they’re hurting. If you share the clear gospel with them and this person is a disciple-in-the-making, history happens. The evangelism movement continues to build momentum.

You must now set this as the first standard for camp. It’s not about the first day. This is the first priority — the day doesn’t matter. It may happen quickly or it may happen slowly. That doesn’t matter. When Paul went to a certain region, he spent 3 weeks, each week, three months, two years — that’s how it was. If this doesn’t emerge, frankly speaking, absolutely do not move. Meaning, don’t do something else. Churches keep doing other things, confusing their congregation members. So there are some churches that need to be doing all kinds of miscellaneous things just to get people in. That is unconditionally a house built on sand. Right? When a problem comes one day, there is no Christ. No gospel. When the pastor faces a crisis one day, there is no gospel in front of the pastor. Only calculations. “If it goes this way for us, what happens?” Covenant is not calculation. It is relationship. Now you must be the ones God works through, and you must do well. Then it will work out. There’s nothing special you need to do well. When you go to church, just be thankful for everything, just be good to everyone. But our work is separate, so even doing it with one person is enough.

So I want to say this to our associate pastors. Don’t plant a church, don’t try to go to someone else’s church — actually go evangelize and build the church out of that. If there’s someone like that, I’m willing to support them. Go do it, truly do it. Why? Because Paul dug into exactly those places. Golden fishing ground, blind spot, disaster zone. That’s why wherever he went, things just came alive. Answers came. You must never miss this. Only you can do it. Others cannot. If someone doesn’t even know what the gospel is, how can they do it? You can even teach this to a Buddhist organization. Why? Because they don’t have the Holy Spirit, so they cannot do it.

♠Conclusion: What goal, what conclusion to set

So while receiving the answer in advance, what do we do while keeping what goal in mind, or what conclusion do we come to? This kind of situation has now emerged. After holding about two or three camps, God’s answer comes, and at that point it is one of three things.

1) The five foundations (upper room)
Will you run an upper room that moves the five foundations?

2) Evangelism branch church
Or will you run an evangelism branch church? “Evangelism branch church” — that’s a very important phrase. Don’t spend money buying a building either. It’s an evangelism branch church. On Sundays, self-supporting smaller churches or your church should be allowed to worship there — don’t gather on Sunday yourself. Will you run a branch church that does only evangelism? This is what’s being decided now. Looking at the situation, sometimes a lot goes into this side. Will you run a mission home? That’s included in this, so you decide. Will you do healing ministry? You must only gather disciples. You must prevent too many people from coming. Running it as an evangelism branch church — this is where people approach with more genuine sincerity.

For RU this time as well, we asked them to only recruit 50 leaders who would truly evangelize, and the word “50” scared people into thinking that was too many — too many applied. So we’re in a bit of a dilemma. Do we only take 50, or take everyone? That’s not the point. We said only those who are prepared should come. Don’t they need to receive answers? Right? So those of you who are church leaders of self-supporting smaller churches — please join forces and help. Pastors need travel expenses to evangelize — that’s the bare minimum. Truly do this properly. Unless you form a team that creates evangelism branch churches to serve and support self-supporting smaller churches, this won’t be resolved. It’s not that pastors lack the energy to do it. It’s not that they lack covenant. It’s because this foundation is too weak that they cannot stand. You need to make it possible for them to stand. So you must continue creating a team that has the mission and can truly and eternally support that church and that pastor. That is the only way. For example, if a genuinely business-minded person emerges, don’t keep trying to coax them to come with you — plant in them: “You — revive this self-supporting church.” Right? You meet a remarkably talented person — it will flash through your mind immediately. “I need to bring them to our church, bring them to Immanuel Church” — that’s wrong. Why, when a disciple has emerged through evangelism in that region, should we not be the ones to revive that region? That’s why we keep operating like merchants, and it has nothing to do with how the Holy Spirit works.

3) Church plant
Finally, this must be considered. Will you plant a church? It is one of these three. Then where should the General Assembly mainly focus? Here — on church planting. Right? When a proper branch church is solidly established, at least 12 or more disciples must emerge. Why? Because even Jesus established 12. We are less capable, so it needs to be 13 or more. Why? Including Paul, that’s 13. So start from there. Without any preparation — just saying “I believe” and beginning — what are you believing? “I believe” and you start, and what then? Church leaders must mainly be doing this. The evangelism branch church — I’m an elder running a hospital, and I quietly look at this, and it’s a place that only draws out disciples for this age. Isn’t it going to be blessed? No need to even say it. And now, whether to send someone out quickly in a big way — if the situation is not like that, then in that case, you must set your standard according to one of these three.

Then there are also three references you should keep in mind.

Our pastors, ministry workers, and church leaders — if they’re not careful, small reasons become connected to larger things. Small reasons — it’s nothing really — but looking at it, they keep doing, how do I say it, things that just don’t work, to a degree that’s hard to even put into words. For example, there’s a remarkable person. But this remarkable person — rather than coming to our church, it would be better for them to go to Ulsan. In that case, you must push them toward that. That’s what needs to happen. But instead it becomes: only here, nothing else. That’s where you miss all the real things. You miss God’s answer. Coming and going is no longer the issue. You must be careful of this, and our church leaders must be careful too. “I will dedicate myself so that our pastor can achieve world evangelization” — that’s what it should be. Don’t do anything else.

The further reference is ordinary congregation members. Ordinary congregation members — you can’t say this to them directly, but though they seem like nothing, they’re all carrying their wounds and difficulties. So you must give them one answer that lets them transcend it. They can’t do it. Even so, you must give them the right answer. You need to tell them. You can’t just say “you need to evangelize” — they won’t understand. “You’re out here earning money to send back home — you came from somewhere in Jeolla Province, Imsil was it, I’m not entirely sure, but you came from there.” “You have to send living expenses there, don’t you?” Yes. “You didn’t get to go to school much, did you?” Yes. Back in those days, that was the reality. “That’s right, how hard it must be for those there. They’re all going through what you’re going through.” Right there, give them the mission. Because of that, “you need to run an evangelism movement there, an evangelism movement that saves those people, you need to run an evangelism movement that revives your family line.” This completely transforms a person. It makes them transcend. After that, finally — there are those with enormous spiritual problems. There are those like this. Going all the way back to their ancestors — idol worship — and then a child is born and the child’s mind is abnormal. What do you do about this? There are many like this. The child grows a little and has physical disabilities, some intellectual impairment. How worrying is this? There are many. What do you do at this point? You must truly plant a clear mission in them. That person’s faith, their track record — none of that matters. You must plant a clear mission. Why? Because it is without fail. You must do exactly this. This is the first preparation of camp. In the afternoon we will look at the second and third. Even right now in this moment, you must believe that this answer is coming to you.

This is the true conclusion. Always remember. What is happening right now? You must not miss this. What might God be doing right now? We must look at the Bible. What will happen on Sunday? There’s no need to even ask. What happened in the Upper Room of Mark’s home — that’s what happens. Don’t miss that.

What is happening right now? The movement of the city of Dothan, the Mizpah movement that God carried out in age after age — that is happening right now. Right now, through you, the Romans 16 answers for those who will accomplish world evangelization are coming. Enjoy it. Let us pray.

Prayer. We give thanks and praise to God. We thank God for raising up evangelists who can evangelize in this age. Now, please truly allow the church to be revived, allow congregation members to receive answers, and let there be a work of revival that saves completely broken disaster zones. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Rightful Reasons, Rightful Answers

Acts 2:1-4.  When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Discovering the rightful reasons behind our problems is the beginning of finding God’s rightful answers. When we fail to see problems correctly, we easily fall into unbelief, despair, resentment, and complaints. Instead of seeking God’s plan, we begin to criticize circumstances or blame other people, and the situation often grows worse.

Joseph eventually realized why his brothers hated him so deeply. Scripture says, “he brought their father a bad report about them” (Genesis 37:2). Though his brothers’ actions were evil, Joseph later understood that there was also a reason within God’s greater plan. Perhaps this is why Joseph remained silent even when he was falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife and thrown into prison (Genesis 39:19–20). He no longer lived centered on resentment or self-defense. Above all else, he came to see God’s absolute plan in his life: the salvation of many people and world evangelization.

When difficulties come, do not become discouraged or bitter. Instead, seek to discover the rightful reason within God’s Word. When you accept God’s perspective, you will begin to see His absolute plan hidden within your circumstances. Problems that once looked meaningless will become part of God’s plan to fulfill His covenant through your life.

From the very beginning, God created mankind with rightful blessings and answers:

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground’” (Genesis 1:27–28).

Human beings were created to enjoy fellowship with God, to receive His guidance, and to live within His blessing and authority. However, Scripture reveals the rightful reason for destruction: separation from God through sin (Genesis 3:1–6). The rightful reason for failure and emptiness in life is broken fellowship with God. The rightful reason for fear, insecurity, and confusion is ignorance of God’s will and covenant.

Because mankind was created as a spiritual being, suffering inevitably entered the world when humanity became separated from God (Genesis 3:16–20). No human effort, knowledge, wealth, or power can completely block the disasters, conflicts, and calamities that continue to come upon the earth. For this reason, God Himself gave the rightful answer from the beginning:

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel” (Genesis 3:15).

This was the promise of Christ, the One who would destroy the power of Satan and restore mankind’s relationship with God. Throughout history, all those who held onto God’s rightful answer through Christ overcame the world. Persecution could not shake them. Trials could not destroy them. Even death could not overcome them because they discovered God’s covenant within every circumstance.

About 120 ordinary believers discovered the rightful reason to gather in Mark’s upper room, despite the danger to their lives. They held on to Christ (Acts 1:1), the kingdom of God (Acts 1:3), and the promise of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). They were not gathered merely out of emotion or fear, but because they recognized God’s covenant and direction for that age.

As they devoted themselves to prayer together, the rightful answer Jesus promised came upon them—the filling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1–4). Through the work of the Holy Spirit, they began to live the rightful life God had prepared for them. The gospel spread throughout the world through ordinary people who held onto God’s absolute covenant.

When you truly know who is calling you, you will naturally follow Him: “And he said to them, ‘Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men’” (Matthew 4:19).

And when you follow Him, He gives rightful direction and fruit to your life: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).

Many people ask why problems continue to come, but the more important question is whether we are discovering God’s rightful reason and rightful answer within them. A crisis can become the beginning of answers. Suffering can become the path toward God’s mission. Weakness can become the platform for God’s power. When we hold onto Christ and remain in God’s Word, every circumstance can become part of His covenant journey.

Prayer. Father, open my eyes to see the rightful reasons and rightful answers within my life through Your Word. Help me not to fall into unbelief, complaints, or discouragement, but to discover Your absolute covenant and plan in every situation. May I hold firmly to Christ, the true answer You have given, and follow the path You have prepared for me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit so that I may live the rightful life You desire. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayer of the Week: May 24, 2026

Father, thank You for calling me as Your Remnant in times of crisis, when there is nothing and no one to help. Help me not to be deceived by darkness, fear, or the world, but to hold firmly to Christ and the covenant.

Open my eyes to see the spiritual reality and Your hidden plan within every problem. Give me the strength of the throne, the power of the gospel, Your eternal Word, and prayer. Like Daniel, the three friends, and Esther, let me stand by faith even in hardship. Use me to shine the light of Your glory to the nations and save this age.

I bring my offerings with gratitude. May Your promise of the economy of light, missions, and the remnants be fulfilled in my work and studies, so I may bring the life-saving message of the gospel to 237 nations and 5000 tribes.

The Seven Bartizans
1 May the Triune God work powerfully within me; take full control of my thoughts, heart, soul, and body.
2 Let the power of the throne come on me.
May Your kingdom be established in my life.
May the power that transcends time and space—the power to reach 237 nations and 5,000 tribes—rest on me.
Let this power dwell within my life, my soul, and my daily living.
May unprecedented and never-repeated answers be revealed in my studies, work, church, and mission field.
3 May Your power work within my past, present, and future.
4 Fill me with the Five Powers from above.
5 Grant me the power that transcends time and space to overcome the ruler of the kingdom of the air.
6 Enable me to see the blessing of the CVDIP in advance.
7 May the power to build the Three Courtyards—for the Ages of the Three-Day Weekend and the Holy Meditation—come upon me.

The Seven Journeys
1 Lord, come upon me and lead me on the path guided by the Triune God.
2 I have many difficulties.
Help me enjoy the Ten Mysteries so I can find the path that You are leading me on.
3 People speak according to what they have heard, what they think, what they assume, and they even add to it.
May the Ten Foundations be firmly established in me.
4 No hardship can overcome the Gospel.
May the Five Assurances be my answer.
5 I must change [your mission field].
Help me enjoy the Nine Streams of the throne.
6 Grant me the answer I can enjoy for the rest of my life.
7 I am going to [your mission field].
May every place and meeting become the camp of the throne.

The Seven Guideposts
1 May the power of the blood of the cross at Calvary come upon every place I go.
2 May the covenant of the Mount of Olives, the things pertaining to God’s kingdom, be fulfilled wherever I go,
3 May the work of God that took place in Mark’s Upper Room come upon me.
4 May the time schedule of God that was manifested in Antioch be given to me.
5 Grant me the very work that took place in Asia, Paul’s first mission field, where all the answers were discovered.
6 Help me find the life-turning point that Paul’s team discovered [Macedonia].
7And, allow me to see Rome.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you. Today is the University and Young Adults Committee Dedication Service. In order to set one’s mind on the Lord’s will, one must know. Our young adults will soon become church leaders and people who raise the Remnant. And the influence we have on society is something that comes directly to the young adults. Of course the future of the church belongs to the Remnant, but in practice it is the young adults who build that bridge. But looking at the Bible, the schedule of great answered prayer was nearly always for the young adults. Most of the works that happened were when the Remnant became young adults. So there are a few things to absolutely keep in mind. There is something you must think about before worship.

Before worship (Genesis 18:17)

Genesis chapter 18, verse 17. When He prophesied that He would give Isaac, God said this: “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?” That is what He said. God always announces in advance what He is about to do. That day a feast of worship and praise took place in the home, and God’s word was announced. He made known to Abraham what would happen. So your first habit should be this — before you worship, you must know that God has a word to give you and ride that current.

When problem comes (natural, inevitable, absolute)

Young adults must also remember this. When a problem comes. When a problem comes, how did they respond? Daniel, the three young men, and Esther all took the same action. When a problem came, they did not waver but viewed it as “what was inevitable has come.” At that moment, they saw “what it is that I must do.” Inevitable. At that moment, they discovered God’s plan. They discovered the saving plan — and it is absolute. Young adults must absolutely remember this. How quickly must you arrive at the point where whether there is an answer or not is no longer the question? It must be at a level where it does not matter whether there is or not. That is how you change the world. Young adults are different now. There is no time to hesitate further. In your youth there is some conflict and struggle. If a young adult keeps on struggling, you lose greatly. People have a timetable. Conflict and wandering are things that are necessary — but those are things for when you are young. If you have become a young adult and you are still doing that, that is not right. So looking at the timetable of those among the Remnant who have become young adults — it is completely different. To the point where some of them said, “Even if I die, I am okay.” You cannot stop them. That is how certain it is. You must absolutely remember that.

When the answer comes (the process)

What is a true young adult? When the answer comes. When the answer came, they did not view it as success. That is what unbelievers do. They viewed it as process. When a problem came, they did not view it as failure. It is process. So the only true answer is the fulfillment of God’s Word and world evangelization — nothing else is an answer. Young adults need to correct a few things. Many of the thoughts you hold are things for which you can absolutely never receive an answer. Joseph being sold by human traffickers is not failure. Joseph becoming prime minister is not success. What followed after that was world evangelization fulfilling God’s Word. Along the way, the covenant of the living God was given evidence. That is success. And with this Remnant now in the University and Young Adults Committee Dedication Service — you truly need to be clear about this. University young adults.

Now, a certain person went to do evangelism. A work of God took place. Some people get very excited about that. I worry about those people. Then what if it doesn’t happen? They will be very sad. Young adults must not be at that level. There are those here who go fishing, I imagine. People who truly fish — if they fish for two days and catch nothing, they are not discouraged. Because they know fishing. They know why it is not working. Beginners — if nothing bites all day? Deep down they resolve: “I will never fish again in my life.” That is not knowing. A person who knows does not get very excited like that. When you try fishing, beginners shout out loud — “Woo~!” The professionals bring it up with composure. They don’t make a sound. Why? Because they know. Okay. There is a complete difference. Getting all excited just because some evangelism is going well — that won’t last. Evangelism is not something to be discouraged about, nor something to get excited about. It is being inside God’s work. People who get very excited about doing evangelism — in my heart I think, “That person won’t last long.” It ends. All seven Remnant, when they were young adults — they were all like that. That’s right? You need to catch on to this quickly.

“Those who know the Lord’s will” (Daniel 1:8-9)

Only then will you become one who knows God’s will. Only then do you set your resolve. Without knowing the will, how can you set it? So when a truly great problem comes, a person who truly knows the gospel is not very excited. That’s right? They watch and pray. A person with no foundation at all cannot endure. A young adult who goes out and faces something — if they cannot endure, will that work?

▣ Introduction — What they saw first

These people had something they saw first.

1. Prophecy of captivity

First, it was already prophesied that they would be taken captive. Then isn’t it over? And it was prophesied that restoration would come. Before they arrived.

2. Prophecy of restoration

It is because we really don’t look at the Word these days.

3. Prophecy of the method

It goes beyond that. Even the method was prophesied.

Now, that is enough. People who do not believe in God’s Word at all, people who do not pray — they are in the dark, but people who look at the Word to some degree — the captivity was prophesied. The reason why was also given, I tell you. When will restoration come? It was told. And even the method. “A virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and you shall call his name Immanuel. Receive the blessing of Immanuel.” That means the gospel was missed. That means darkness cannot be overcome. And that is how they came to be taken captive. It is simple.

▣ Main

What must young adults and university students prepare? Now, how does it then go?

1. The past — make it an absolute launching pad

You must make the past an absolute launching pad. You can no longer afford to be defeated any further. What must you do to make the past an absolute launching pad?

[Past 300%]

You must make the past 300%. To do that, what must you first know?

1) 722 BC and 586 BC — Judah’s fall

Northern Israel was destroyed. In 722 BC. After that, approximately around 850 years later, Judah was destroyed.

2) The destruction of the temple — the sacred vessels

The Jerusalem temple was destroyed and all the sacred vessels were taken away. These sacred vessels were all taken and used for their feasting.

3) Captivity

The king was taken captive and the people were taken captive. At this moment they set their resolve. That settles it, doesn’t it? What does it mean? This must never happen again. But they came completely into the place of answered prayer. They were cool-headed. At this moment they set their resolve. This is the posture young adults must have. How do you make the past 300%? There is only one way to erase the past and make it 300%. What is it?

[Isaiah 6:1-13, 7:14, 40:6-31, 43:18-19, 60:1-22, 62:6-12]

Isaiah chapter 6, verses 1 through 13 prophesied it. Arm yourself with the power of the throne. Isaiah 7:14 — arm yourself with the power of the gospel. Isaiah 40, verses 6 through 31 — arm yourself with the power of the Word. In 43:18-19 — enjoy in prayer the power of God who makes a way in the wilderness and makes rivers flow in the desert. (Isaiah 60:1-22) Now rise and shine forth the light that has come upon you. And (62:6-12) become a bartizan. Give the Lord no rest.

The covenant was firmly held. This is 300% — the past launching pad was firmly made. And then they went.

2. Make the future into today

Now, Remnant and young adults — look carefully. Make the future into today. The future has not yet come. But make it into today.

[Present 300%]

Enjoy the present 300%. What on earth does that mean? A problem has come right now. This is a future problem.

1) Daniel 3:8-24

Daniel chapter 3, verses 8 through 24. Content you know well.

2) Daniel 6:10-22

Daniel chapter 6, verses 10 through 22. Content you know well. You know the content but don’t know how to enjoy it.

3) Esther 4:1-16

Esther chapter 4. Everyone knows it. How do you enjoy it?

Now, Pastor Joo Gi-cheol did not bow at the shrine and died, I tell you. Why did he do that? He saw the future. That’s right? He saw the future that would one day come. He saw the himself who would one day die. Then this is when to die. “Whether God delivers us or does not deliver us, we will not bow.” This must become the faith of our young adults. Companies having demonstrations is fine, but rather than that kind of courage, first have the courage to work well, and then have that kind of courage.

Personally I am not very in favor of it. I still even now do not use a lot of Korean products. Very inconvenient. Make better things instead of fighting like that. You fall behind. I always use pins. Every pocket of mine has a pin. What do I use it for? Not just one or two purposes. I use it to hold a necktie in place. Interdental brushes. Going fishing, keeping my hat from blowing away. But even now, Korean ones are too wobbly and in the wind they pop out. Japanese ones are good. So people say to me, “Pastor, are you pro-Japan?” “No. Stop interfering in others’ affairs and do your own work properly.” That is what I am saying. Our country will die doing that.

What strength must young adults possess? They already saw the future and viewed today in light of it. They knew that they were there for this reason. Because of that, it is okay for them to die. They prayed knowing they were going to die, and with thanksgiving. Esther, right away — “If I die, I die.” That is what she said. That is what turned everything over. Is there a separate field 300% accounting? How do you count field 300% by calculation? Young adults absolutely must remember this. There is absolutely no need to be discouraged. All the occupations you are working in will change, so get your head straight and make it 300%.

3. Make today into the future

Then what do you do with today? Into the future. It sounds like the same thing but it is not. Today is about pulling the future forward and viewing it. Then everything changes completely. Then what you are doing now you view from far in the future.

[Future 300%]

Future 300%.

1) Works of the age, 300%

So what must the Remnant and young adults do today? Works of the age, 300%. Academic work, occupation, work. That’s right?

2) Prayer 7·7·7, 300%

And then, our Remnant and young adults and university students must be at 300% of the 7·7·7 prayer. Why is that? Because He gave wisdom to the king, I tell you. This wisdom does not come from studying. He gave wisdom to the king. That is exactly right. All seven Remnant. So the theme I have this time is “The Spiritual Emperor Who Saved the Emperor.” Not even a king — even the king of a small nation is a king, but an emperor is at minimum one who governs the whole. An emperor who saves the emperor. Looking at that — future 300%. Is it possible? It is possible. Even a person with a poor head like mine has seen it — it is possible. We prepared for evangelism — they cannot follow. They cannot eliminate it.

3) Rebuilding the temple

What did these Remnant do? At this time they prepared for the rebuilding of the temple. “Go back and rebuild the temple.” A strange thing happened. Cyrus spoke of it first. What does it mean? Open the three-courtyard age. Open the three-day weekend age. Open the holy meditation age.

If you wait a little it will be fine — but then some people made a whole issue over whether to do an upper room or not, and many people who came out of that came to our church. So I gave these people today’s message. “Let us start the first conference that truly opens the three ages. Let us begin the real gathering that opens these three ages.” So the way I do it is through continuous prayer and communication, so let us pray together. Our going into the island nations — not one instance of humanism was used. God, one by one… That is what you are to see. You must realize, “Ah, it is not Pastor Ryu Kwang-su doing this!” When I went and saw — “Ah, the Word is being fulfilled!” They themselves said it with their own mouths. “The Word is being fulfilled.” That’s right. It is not anyone’s work. That is what you must see.

Three courtyards. This is tremendous content — when is it done? During the three-day weekend. Why? The holy meditation age. Let us hold this first conference together with those who have come here today. And then, what is received as answered prayer after that — decide that afterward. Please, now, guidance must be received. You need to be connected with those who have been guiding you consistently until now, and the fact that it hasn’t been that way is why there has been constant conflict. Now, guidance must be received. Our Immanuel Seoul Church must play that role. Many people come when they are conflicted. Then there is nothing to be greedy about and nothing to fight over — you need to help these people truly receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit. For that, let us now do something that has never been done once on this earth. What God has emphasized. Let us begin the actual work of opening the three ages. Rebuild the temple for that purpose. Not the temple that was previously destroyed — rebuild the temple. It is tremendous. Future 300%.

▣ Conclusion

This morning I had interviews with three precious associate pastors. While doing the evangelism movement, elders and kwon-sa deaconesses look very precious to me. And the way I see our associate pastors is also very different. I see them with great hope. So while I taught everything to the congregation, I said there are three things I must not fail to teach. I taught the congregation every conceivable thing, but if I do not teach these three things, that is wrong.

1. Enjoying the gospel

Various problems will exist around us. Various problems arise around us. Going to the field is even harder. But those must become no problem at all. They must become a blessing. That is what is called enjoying the gospel. I told this to the associate pastors. In fact, every problem is a blessing.

2. Enjoying prayer

And you must live with the strength that God has given. Prayer and academic work for the Remnant must not be separated. Then at some point problems come. They must not go together as parallel tracks either. They must go inside prayer. That is what is called enjoying prayer.

3. Enjoying evangelism

The rest — the door opens. You only need to wait for the 3 camps. You wait for the Holy Spirit to work and open it. The Holy Spirit will certainly heal the Nephilim. The work of the Holy Spirit — this Holy Spirit is responsible for the future. The fruit of the Holy Spirit. Enjoying this is enjoying evangelism.

I told this to the associate pastors this morning. You did everything, but this didn’t work? Then it didn’t work. You had the congregation do every conceivable task and kept them from enjoying this? You caused them to fail. That’s right? Young adults matter right now. So looking at the young adults in the Bible or the young adults who move the world — they are all the same. Common thread. It is not doing one thing here and another there. The process. The only answer is one. The fulfillment of the Word and world evangelization. Let us pray.

Prayer. May we be within the work God is doing this week as well. May we be within the work of the Triune God right now in this hour. Send the angel You sent to the three young men and Daniel and Esther, and may God’s work be accomplished. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
