(Ge 17:1-19)

Genesis 17:1-19

01 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless.
02 Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.”
03 Abram fell facedown, and God said to him,
04 “As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations.
05 No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.
06 I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations come from you, and kings will come from you.
07 I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.
08 The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”
09 Then God said to Abraham, “As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.
10 This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised.
11 You are to undergo circumcision, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and you.
12 For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised, including those born in your household or bought with money from a foreigner – those who are not your offspring.
13 Whether born in your household or bought with your money, they must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh is to be an everlasting covenant.
14 Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.”
15 God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah.
16 I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”
17 Abraham fell facedown; he laughed and said to himself, “Will a son be born to a man a hundred years old? Will Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?”
18 And Abraham said to God, “If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!”
19 Then God said, “Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.”

Summary

Gospel of salvation – Answer of the throne – Prayer, 7·7·7
Within this covenant lies the gospel of salvation. Within the gospel of salvation lies the answer of the throne – and this is prayer. The prayer being done now is not ordinary; it works even to future generations.

Genesis 37:11 What happened when Jacob held something in his heart and prayed? The prayer about the gospel of salvation and the gospel of the covenant – Abraham at first did not know, so he kept praying wrong prayers, but when he began to build an altar, different prayer, 7·7·7 prayer began. The Bible from the beginning spoke of the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne.

Exodus 2:1-10 The prayer Jochebed prayed brought about something 80 years later. The timetable is in God’s hands.

1 Samuel 1:9-11 Hannah kept going on about grievance rather than prayer, then one day she realized and began to pray.

Daniel 10:10-20 – From the first day you knelt, the sending has occurred.

Psalm 103:20-22 – You angels who carry out his commands, who heed the voice of his word, praise the Lord. You his servants who do his will, praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion.

▷ The sick should not worry and experience what 24 is. Experience what prayer 25 creates. Experience what the commemorative work called eternity is like. If Remnants know what prayer is, they succeed academically and 300% comes out. Adults come to know, like Moses, Elijah, and Hannah, what the answer is. If you know this prayer, morning time becomes time to conquer the universe, daytime becomes time to conquer what is visible and what is spoken and the world, and as the day passes it becomes time to conquer the future where 300% is built.

▣ Introduction_ The God of Covenant

God is the God of covenant. There is no more certain evidence than this. In John 1:1, “the Word is God.” He is the God of covenant. More than 7,000 great events have been fulfilled. Now only one remains: Christ will come as the returning Lord.

▣ Main
1. Fulfillment of the covenant – God gives the covenant and fulfills it.
2. He accomplishes all things centered on the covenant.
3. If you are enjoying the covenant – If you do not miss God’s covenant, it will surely be fulfilled. He even changed their names. This means “do not forget.”

Genesis 17:1-2 God acts in all things to fulfill the covenant.
Genesis 17:3 He acts with power toward those who hold this covenant. He gives us the identity, authority, and background through which God’s power is manifested. The covenant we hold will surely save the next generation.

▣ Conclusion
1. My covenant – Today God still gives me my covenant.
2. Bartizan, journey, guidepost – This covenant will surely accomplish the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne.
3. Brain, soul, throne – This covenant is surely imprinted in your mind, thoughts, and brain. It is imprinted in the soul, which is the center of your mind and thoughts. And this is imprinted in the throne.

▷ God’s Spirit dwells in our souls. Even when our soul departs, it dwells there. So when the soul departs, people say “passed away” rather than “died.”

Next week’s district study is the God of Covenant.
“The God of Covenant” → [Gospel of Salvation – Answer of the Throne – Prayer]

Within this covenant lies the gospel of salvation. This is important. Within this gospel of salvation lies the answer of the throne. This is prayer. People who don’t know this don’t realize the significance of sitting here. Many people in the Bible – the elders, older men and women – were praying, right? They didn’t know how important that was. The prayer you are doing right now is not ordinary; it works even to future generations.

Genesis 37:11
Genesis 37, verse 11. Jacob held something in his heart and prayed – you know what happened, don’t you? This is prayer. So the prayer you offer today is extremely important and also a new grace.

(Genesis 17:1-19)
Genesis 17, verses 1 through 19.

Abraham at first did not know what prayer about the gospel of salvation and the covenant of the gospel was. So he was praying but kept praying wrong prayers. He was so anxious. He was praying things like “how are we going to eat and live?” Later, when Abraham began to build an altar, a different prayer began. True prayer began.

[7·7·7]
Jesus completed it, but the Bible from the beginning speaks of the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne. Other prayers become wrong prayers.

Exodus 2:1-10
What did this prayer of Jochebed create? Nobody knows. It happened precisely. One day it happened, 80 years later. Sometimes it happens immediately, but sometimes it’s after sitting and waiting 80 years. The timetable is in God’s hands.

1 Samuel 1:9-11
At first Hannah kept going on about grievance rather than prayer. She kept talking about her bitterness. That’s not prayer. It’s grievance. Right? One day she realized and began to pray. You know what happened, don’t you? This is prayer. This is prayer that enjoys the gospel. So a person who knows this – worshiping on Sunday is the greatest time. People who know this set aside everything else and still worship. How thankful is that?

Daniel 6:10
A person who knows prayer. Daniel prayed as a habit. Daniel knew this and always prayed habitually, and God gave him wisdom to change the world. Problems do arise. He was sentenced to death. A person who knows prayer does not fear. Rather, he prayed with thanksgiving. Though sentenced to death. Right? What happened afterward, the whole world came to know. So today, you are truly praying the prayer that contains the gospel holding the covenant, which is what God wants.

Acts 1:14
Holding this covenant, the church leaders and congregation members continued right through to “they devoted themselves to prayer.”

Acts 2:1-14
Today is our Harvest Thanksgiving Festival. “When the day of Pentecost had fully come” – that’s what it said. That is the answer.

[Revelation 8:3-5]
In Revelation 8, verses 3 and 5, your prayers are stored at the throne. Don’t be deceived, don’t be shaken even if answers don’t come quickly, just hold the covenant.

[Daniel 10:10-20]
Daniel 10, verses 10 and 20 – there is an important record in the Bible. It’s what the archangel said. He said it to Daniel. “From the first day you knelt, the sending has occurred.” People in the world absolutely can’t know this.

[Psalm 103:20-22]
David, who received the most prayer answers of any king, said: “Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word.” And further it says “Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will.” And verse 22, “Praise the Lord, all his works” – this combines what was said before about angels and heavenly hosts. “Angels, heavenly hosts, praise the Lord.” David in fact had the authority to command the angels. Praise the Lord.

Prayer is something immense. If you could spend an entire day in prayer comfortably, so many things in the world around you would look different. Right? Our deaconesses, elders, senior members – spending a comfortable day in prayer, you need to recover much strength. The sick should not worry, and experience what 24 is. Experience what prayer 25 creates. Experience what the commemorative work called eternity is. Simply put, it’s not about “doing prayer” – simply put, it’s being inside an enormous happiness.

In one sense saying “let’s pray” – “let’s do prayer” – may not even be the right expression. Right? The only reason it’s expressed that way is because there’s no other way to put it; but to be precise, that’s not it. It’s dwelling in God’s greatest power. Right? That’s what’s needed. Prayer as an act is not what’s needed; that is what’s needed. We cannot evangelize the world, but world evangelization must be done. So it was said “I will be with you through the throne’s power.” Right? That is knowing through prayer. “Give him no rest” – that was the expression used. How does the Lord rest? Are we waking him up? That’s not what it means. That’s how it was expressed. To put it precisely, this is what it means: the Lord does not rest, so enjoy that blessing.

If you know what true prayer – the prayer that really gains strength – is, our Remnants succeed academically and 300% comes out. If adults know prayer, like Moses, Elijah, and Hannah, you come to know what the answer is. If you know this prayer, morning time is time to conquer the universe – holding all authority in heaven and earth, I will be with you. Daytime, the many visible things, spoken prayer is time to conquer the world. To the ends of the earth you will be my witness – that’s the process. Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria. As day after day passes, it becomes time to conquer the future where 300% is being built. A person who knows this said even death is fine. Right? Even death is fine, they said.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today too will be the greatest new day through the power God gives.

▣ Introduction_ The God of Covenant

Why? Because God is the God of covenant. There is no more certain evidence than this. The extent of it? John 1:1: “the Word is God.” He is the God of covenant. More than 7,000 great events have been fulfilled. Now only one remains. Christ will come as the returning Lord. That’s all that remains. Everything has been fulfilled. All according to God’s Word. “Why are those difficult nations like that” – all prophesied in the Bible. Egypt, Persia – all prophesied.

▣ Main

So God’s Word has three important characteristics.

1. Fulfillment of the covenant
God gives the covenant and fulfills it. That settles it.

2. All things centered on the covenant
Second thing to know. He accomplishes all things centered on the covenant.

3. If you are enjoying the covenant
Third. If you do not miss God’s covenant, it will surely be fulfilled. You just need to not miss the covenant, right? If you hold this covenant without forgetting. This is what today’s district study is saying. God gives the covenant and fulfills it.

Now look at the district study. Genesis 17, verses 1 and 2. God acts in all things to fulfill the covenant. In verse 3, he acts with power toward those who hold this covenant. He gives us the identity, authority, and background through which God’s power is manifested. The covenant you hold will surely save the next generation. That’s what it’s saying. And when looking at all things, there’s no need for misunderstanding. It all centers back on the covenant. So the initial “do not eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” is a covenant. It’s the covenant of “I will be with you.” Because it was broken, God opened the way of salvation. Because recovery was impossible, He opened the road of recovery. “The offspring of the woman shall bruise the head of the serpent.” So even in Noah’s age, build an ark to avoid being cursed. In today’s text, be circumcised – this means do not forget. Imprint it.

3. If you are enjoying the covenant (name)
Now, what is it here? He changed the name. What does that mean? “Do not forget.” That’s what it means. It’s not that all of you need to change your names. “Do not forget.” That’s it. The identity you received and the background and authority God gave – “do not forget.”

1. My covenant
Today God still gives me my covenant.

2. Bartizan, journey, guidepost
This covenant will surely accomplish the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne.

May today be a day of drawing on the power of the throne; may the prayers of your servants become times of God’s kingdom coming upon all things; may the work of God’s kingdom be fulfilled in our descendants and in the 237, 5,000 tribes. May today be a day of healing in spirit and body. May all darkness around us be bound. May all curses be bound. May the peace of the gospel of the power of Christ be witnessed throughout all the earth. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Summary

In this answer, church leaders are meeting scattered disciples every week, every day.

1. Many ethnicities (new families)
Meet many ethnicities every week and have spiritual exchange. Meet new families. Then you will become a greatly blessed church leader.

2. RT
Set a schedule every week and meet Remnants. Meet them for no particular reason. When you meet, something comes out.

3. Healing candidates
The more important thing. Meet healing candidates every week. Everything is contained in there.

The more important thing is that these things are not methods. Everything is already prepared. You must do the real thing.

I have been doing evangelism work for about 40 years and many workers joined and then basically all betrayed and left. Now the ones who remain are people with a true mission to save the church. We don’t need anything else. When you receive spiritual strength, heavenly wisdom comes, and from then on amazing power comes. Economic power to evangelize the world, and accordingly workers arise.

Now looking at it, I see that the church leaders remaining are people with a true mission to save the church.

To put it more precisely, we don’t need anything else. Everything is set to follow. When you receive spiritual strength, heavenly wisdom comes. From then on, amazing power comes upon you. From then on, the workforce and economic power for world evangelization come. And accordingly, workers arise.

Prayer. We give thanks to God. May this time be a time of gaining power. May it be a time of prayer. May it be a time of enjoying the power of the throne. The reason is: let those fallen in darkness have the light shone upon them. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith –
27 to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

Summary

▣ Introduction_ 24 Prayer for Pastors
There is a part church leaders must start. A person who knows how to pray 24 prayer for pastors must emerge. 24 prayer is done transcending location, and because it is a prayer that completely moves the rhythm, it is an extremely important prayer. Your church’s pastor must be included in this prayer. All early church leaders did this. And Paul also prayed for church leaders one by one in his prayers.

Abraham began building an altar. Then he returns with victory and the tithing to Melchizedek takes place.

2. Genesis 37:11
From this day on, Joseph and father Jacob continuously became the same prayer, and this changes the world.

▷ The prayers you are now sitting and offering are all connected and the answer comes – prayer is everything. Our church leaders need to start enjoying this in all areas to the degree that their health and lives are recovered.

3. Exodus 3:1-20
Finally Moses recovers this prayer at Mt. Horeb. He gets to hear God’s voice recovering the gospel. “Go to Pharaoh. Take my people out.” It’s all in the prayer. Even now you need to be in times of receiving strength and hearing the Word through prayer.

4. 1 Samuel 3:19
Not one word of Samuel fell to the ground. Looking at this, it’s called 24.

5. 1 Samuel 16:13
“From that day on, the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him.”

3. Looking at and going forward with the blessing in disaster – church leaders who convey God’s blessing while dealing with disaster
1) Secret task force – The people of Romans 16
2) Evangelism special forces – These people began to build up the evangelism special forces.
3) Holy Mason – In this, they also prepared the temple. The temple must be one that opens three ages for it to be a real temple.
4) RM – They raised up Remnants.
5) Memorial – The blessing of establishing a memorial came out.

Now our core message is preparation for three things to change.

▣ Introduction_ 24 Prayer for Pastors

A person who knows how to do 24 prayer. It looks the same but it’s different. We also need to set a place to pray. But 24 prayer is done transcending location. Also, set-time prayer is extremely important. But 24 prayer, because it is a prayer that completely moves the rhythm, becomes an extremely important prayer. Your church’s pastor must be included in this prayer. All early church leaders did this. And Paul too, praying for church leaders one by one in his prayers, that comes out.

This is an extremely important point. For example, if a student, a Remnant, can study while in prayer, they are truly conquering the world. Then daytime is when meetings happen – isn’t this the time? What needs to be confirmed at this time? It is the time to conquer the world. That prayer needs to come out. At night, after work is done, you say it’s night. What is this? It is the time to conquer the future. Extremely important.

1. Into prayer (road)
Into prayer. Until when? Until the road becomes visible. The road becomes visible.

From now on, you have acquired many things but you need to go in. Not your simple prayer, but that which saves all of spirit, body, and soul. Go this way. Into power. Without power, you can’t do it.

3. Into the fulfillment of the Word
Not something simple, but completely when this happens, don’t make it difficult – into the fulfillment of the Word. Just follow it there.

Just doing this, one day I saw it – the highway of world evangelization began to be built. The road being built today is becoming a highway. Where there’s no road, there’s no highway. Making a road means lowering what is high, filling what is low, straightening what is bent – that is the road. Being continuous makes it a highway. Then travel happens, cars come, it becomes like that.

In the past I had this thought. Why can’t I heal the sick? I wanted to help heal the sick, but I couldn’t heal them. I can’t help those people. I’d go and pray for them and come back. I didn’t give up on that. I kept at healing. Editing, design, design continuously. Got the answer. And then: “Ah, so that’s how it was.” That’s what happened. So truly if that person believes God’s Word, I am confident I can help the sick. So the sickness is not what’s important. Because it is the beginning of God giving special grace to that person.

church leaders, going back and making a new start, I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that many people come alive because of you. I will pray.

Prayer. May the grace of Jesus Christ who is King of kings and the eternal love of God and the working of the Holy Spirit God who works with power be with all church leaders from now until eternity. Amen.

1. People who are searching for the way.

…2) The way of the mental world – if you do not know it, you become ill.
…3) The way of the spiritual world – because it is the path to finding the essence of humanity, it is extremely important, and if you do not know this way, spiritual problems arise.

2. Historical evidence of people who have lost the way
…1) Great powers – they thought they had to fight and conquer.
…2) Weak and small nations – they are in a situation where they must survive.
…3) Israel – they are wandering to the left and to the right.

3. The next generation, the church, and I who have lost the way
…1) The next generation – they have no power of prayer, are imprinted with other things, and spiritual problems are bound to come.

▣ Main: Find the Three Ways
1. Find the foundational way – by faith, find it today.

Passover has already come. The background of the throne is already prepared (Feast of Tabernacles). To enjoy the work of the Holy Spirit right now is Pentecost.

11 He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
12 Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.
13 This is why I speak to them in parables: Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.
14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15 For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’
16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.”

Summary

▷ This is a day to pray for missions to the whole world. In particular, today one young adult from India is being commissioned as a lay missionary. When you go, there will be many problems. Do not think it is difficult or hard. Do not think about receiving help either. When you go, the world may seem big. Do not be envious. Those people have no power at all. However, do not take them too lightly either. They are all filled with darkness. To us now, and also to our young evangelist being commissioned, God has promised the things of the throne that no one can take away.

0th Priority

▷ This promise of the throne is 0th priority because it is about seeking only, uniqueness, and re-creation. You seek and wait for it, and when it comes, you go. Because it is 0th priority, there is no competition.

▣ Introduction

1. Background – The background of the current Scripture passage is Matthew chapter 13. The reason Jesus said “I explained it in parables so that you would understand, and also explained it in parables so that others would not understand” is because if people understand it falsely, anyone would come and try to do it.
1) Trinity – The background is that the Triune God is together with us in a way completely invisible to the eye. There is no reason to fear. Simply wait with only, uniqueness, and re-creation.
2) 9 things – The answer that shines the light of the throne that transcends time and space, and the light of 237, is within me, within my soul, within my life, so an unprecedented answer comes.
3) Era 3 – It is set up so that eras 24, 25, and eternity will be saved.

2. Secret 10 – You survive anywhere and see God’s work anywhere. The answer is on a different side, and wherever you go, people come alive. Even when you enter into a crisis, God’s work happens. The blessing of re-creation rises up so there is no need to fight. God sends us to the wilderness as slaves. Because God has an absolute plan, it cannot fail.

3. Foothold 10 – All of our sovereignty, whether things succeed or fail, is in God’s hands. God’s method is only Christ. God’s power is only the work of the Holy Spirit. The evidence of the promise God gave us is only the Bible. The foundation of every answer is God working in me and in the place where I am. Because God knows all of my life, there is nothing to fear. At some point, we must go to the kingdom of heaven. The afterlife clearly exists. Therefore, in this evangelism, not even a cup of cold water will lose its reward. These are the 10 footholds. Just keep having them.

▣ Main

1. The answer of the Word and the throne – no one can take it away.
▷ In Matthew 13:1-9, 18-33, 37-43, Jesus continues to speak the parable of the sower. Seeds that fall on rocky ground, on the path, or among thorns will naturally die. But do not worry. Because the seed that falls on good soil will bear fruit dozens and tens of thousands of times over.
1) The accurate gospel (good soil) – If you have the accurate gospel, you will bear fruit like a seed that falls on good soil. When you have the accurate gospel and share it, works happen.
2) The reason for not understanding – Verses 18-24 explain the reason for not understanding. “What fell on the path was taken by the devil, and the soul that dies because it has no root is the one that cannot endure persecution and falls, and what falls among thorns dies because it is seized by worldly worries.”
3) Weeds – Weeds appear in verses 37-43. In the church and in the field, there are weeds. Among the workers in the church, among the ministers, among the church leaders, there are also weeds. But do not worry about it. The weeds need to be there so that later, when the grain is harvested and made into rice, there is something to burn as fuel.

2. Value – how much value does it have?
1) The hidden treasure – In verse 44 it talks about value: “There is something like a hidden treasure that you survive on your whole life buried in your field.”
2) The most precious pearl – In verses 45-46: “Though it looks like a traveling merchant, he has the most precious pearl.” This is what it means to have the gospel.
3) Fish – The parable of the fish is given. When a fisherman catches fish, he throws away the ones he does not need. So later, what gets gathered into this treasure, this storehouse, is what is meant.

3. Hidden things
1) Mustard seed – Like a mustard seed, it looks like just a dot, but it has life and grows large.
2) Yeast – Jesus explains: “Though yeast cannot be seen, it gets into the flour and spreads throughout the whole thing. The gospel is like that.”
3) Grain – Weeds. “Do not pull out the weeds now. If you pull them, the grain could get pulled out too. Just leave them.” That is it. When you harvest later, the grain goes to the storehouse and the weeds go to be burned as fuel. Jesus gave an incredibly powerful message.

▷ By the grace of God, we receive blessings, share the gospel, and live.

▣ Conclusion – Prayer

1. Set-time prayer – At least once a day, enter into a very deep set-time prayer.
2. 24 prayer – For the rest, pray with 24. Do this prayer for every field.
3. 25 – Then 25 will surely come. This is the blessing of the throne.

Eternity → Then the work we have done becomes eternal. Starting from now, as you begin to enjoy it through prayer, if we are able to pray for God’s kingdom and the power of the throne to come upon our work, works will surely happen and world evangelism will take place.

This is a day for all of us to do missions, to pray. In particular, today one of our young adults from India is being commissioned as a lay missionary as well. When you go, there will be many problems like this. Do not think it is difficult. Do not think things like “this is hard” either. If there is no one to help you, do not think “I need to receive help” either.

When I see people who have worked very hard, I do not really say “you have worked hard.” People with less discernment can get offended by that too. Why? Because why did you work hard? You received grace. Right? The fact that we are doing this kind of work — this is receiving grace.

When you go out and see the world, it may seem big. Do not be envious. Those people have no power at all. But also do not take them too lightly. Because they are all filled with darkness, you must not take them lightly.

The Promise of the Throne

To you now, and also to our young evangelist being commissioned, God has made this promise. He has promised the things of the throne that no one can take away. So always keep that in mind.

This promise of the throne is 0th priority because it is about seeking this (only, uniqueness, re-creation).

A certain Remnant sent me a message saying, “Hmm… what should I do?” I told that Remnant, “Do nothing.” We keep thinking of the methods of worldly people — the people of the world who keep failing to do the Lord’s work. That will end up not working out in the end.

So those of you being commissioned, those of you doing world missions, keep this in mind. There is nothing to worry about. You seek and wait for this (only, uniqueness, re-creation, 0th priority). When it comes, then you go. Why? Because there is no competition in this, everyone. All over the world, this is 0th priority, right?

▣ Introduction

1. Background

Why is that? The background of the current Scripture passage is Matthew chapter 13, you know? Look carefully. Jesus said this: “I explained it in parables so that you would understand. And I also explained it in parables so that others would not understand.” That is an extremely important statement. “Hmm… because I am doing the Lord’s work, blessings keep coming.” If people understand it falsely like that, then anyone would come and try to do it, right?

1) Trinity

Look at this background. The Triune God is together with us in a way completely invisible to the eye. This is the background. There is no reason to fear. If the answer does not come, just wait. And how do you wait? Wait very gracefully with only, uniqueness, and re-creation.

So when we Koreans go out, we are too low-level and so we cannot evangelize developed nations. Look right now, those people who came from Japan, people from Spain — look at those kinds of people. Those people are from developed nations. There is none of this business of just chasing after profit like that. So they are already different.

So the reason Korea cannot do world evangelism is that we have everything and yet cannot do it — our level is too low. And we are in too much of a hurry. The more developed a nation is, the slower they go. We need to realize that going slowly is actually going faster. No matter how frustrating it is, this Triune God is working in ways invisible to the eye.

2) 9 things

And what else? The answer that shines the light of the throne that transcends time and space, and 237, is within us. This is within me, within my soul, within my life. So an unprecedented answer comes to me.

3) Era 3

And then, it is set up so that eras 24, 25, and eternity will surely be saved.

This is the background. There is absolutely nothing to worry about. You just enjoy this through prayer while studying. Of course the answer comes.

As for what mistake I made — when I was starting out at the evangelism field, a lot of works were going to happen, and I should have been a bit more humble, but I did not think of that. What that means is that around the churches in Busan too, there were many people, and other churches would feel bad about it. I should have known that. I did not know. Because works would clearly happen, when the works happened, other people were going to be envious and jealous. That is something you need to already know ahead of time, right?

2. Secret 10

The 10 secrets — you would know them even without me telling you all of them now. Survive anywhere. Right? You see God’s work anywhere. The answer is on a different side. So wherever you go, people come alive. What are they going to say? Everywhere you go, you entered into a crisis, but God’s work happens, the blessing of re-creation happens. So there is no need to fight. That is how it turns out. Those are the 10 secrets. God sends us to the wilderness, sends us as slaves, I mean. God has an absolute plan. 10 things. So it cannot fail.

The 10 footholds. Whether all of our things succeed or fail, sovereignty is in God’s hands. That is the first one. God’s method is only one — it is Christ. God’s power is also only one — it is the work of the Holy Spirit. The evidence of the promise God gave us is also only one — it is the Bible. The foundation of every answer is God working in me. He works in the place where I am. Right? And because God knows all of my life, there is nothing to fear. At some point, we will all have to go to the kingdom of heaven. Right? The afterlife clearly exists. If so, then this evangelism will not lose its reward, not even for a cup of cold water. The 10 footholds. You just take these and go. Keep having them at all times. Whatever anyone says, whatever problem comes up, just find the answer to the problem and wait.

1. The answer of the Word and the throne

Matthew 13:1-9, 13:18-33, 13:37-43

Now, Jesus today — we have not all read it, but in verses 1 through 9 he spoke the parable of the sower. And then in verses 18 through 33 he explains it again. If you look at all of chapter 13 of the Bible — it does not end there. In verses 37 through 43 he explains it again. What does that mean?

1) The accurate gospel (good soil)

Seeds that fall on rocky ground, seeds that fall on the path — of course they will die, because birds come and carry them away. Seeds that fall among thorns — they will die too. Seeds that fall on rocky ground cannot take root even if they stay alive. So what does that mean?

“Don’t worry.” That is what it means. Seeds that fall on good soil will bear fruit dozens and tens of thousands of times over. That is what it means. Those of you doing world missions and lay missions have a lot of work to do — but that is not it. When you have the accurate gospel and share it, works happen.

Did I not tell you before? A Korean missionary went to the Philippines and did enormous, great work. He handed it over to a successor, a Filipino person. At that time, the Filipino pastor who took it over gave a speech like this: “Our missionary who is now retiring and going back to Korea is an amazing person. How amazing a person he is to have built so many buildings and created so much property.” At that moment this missionary thought, “Oh, I have failed.” With the accurate gospel, living seeds falling on the ground will come up. Only one seed was planted, but how many come up? If you plant one pumpkin or watermelon, how many come up? How many pumpkins does it bear? That is what it means.

2) The reason for not understanding

And then I will say it again. In verses 18 through 23. Even without my saying so you probably know, but I will say the reason for not understanding again. “What fell on the path — that was taken by the devil, taken away. And the soul that dies because it has no root — that is the one that cannot endure persecution and falls. What falls among thorns dies, right? That is the one seized by worldly worries.”

3) Weeds

Verses 37 through 43 explain again. This time what comes up? Weeds. “Don’t worry about it.” That is the message. The church also has weeds. And when you go to the field, there is fruit but there are also weeds. Well yes, within the workers of the church, among the ministers, among the church leaders, there are weeds too. Right? “Don’t worry about it.” That is the message. Those need to be there so that later when you cook rice with the grain, there is something to burn as fuel. Right? “Don’t worry about it.”

2. Value

How much value does it have?

1) The hidden treasure

Verse 44. “Something like a hidden treasure that you survive on your whole life is buried in your field.” It spoke of value.

2) The most precious pearl

Verses 45 and 46: “Though it looks like a traveling merchant, he has the most precious pearl. This is what it means to have the gospel.” That is what it means.

3) Fish

The parable of the fish was given. When a fisherman catches fish, he throws away the ones he does not need. That is it. So later, what gets gathered into this treasure, this storehouse — that is what is meant.

3. Hidden things

Things of value that no one can take away, and things that are hidden. What does it say?

1) Mustard seed

“Like a mustard seed — though it looks like just a dot — there is life in it, and it grows large.”

2) Yeast

Jesus explains now. “Though yeast cannot be seen, it gets into the flour and spreads throughout the whole thing. The gospel is like that.”

3) Grain – Weeds

The grain and weeds parable — let’s go over it one more time. “Do not pull out the weeds now. If you pull them, even the grain could get pulled out. Just leave them.” That is it. When you harvest later, the grain goes to the storehouse and the weeds go to be burned as fuel. Jesus gave an incredibly powerful message.

So I — you all have so many problems but I do not. People say they worked very hard but I have done nothing. When I see people like that I find it a bit strange, why did they work so hard? We did not. God blessed us. If God did not bless us and instead took everything away, could we do it? If God gave us sickness, could we live our lives? We cannot. By God’s grace we receive blessings, share the gospel, and live.

▣ Conclusion – Prayer

So how do you enjoy this blessing? How do you go to 0th priority? Pray. If you truly want to study, you would go up the mountain to pray and go out to the fields to pray — and you cannot do that.

1. Set-time prayer

At least once a day, enter into a very deep set-time prayer. Think about the Word once through, going like this.

2. 24 prayer

For the rest, pray with 24. For the rest — just every field, prayer.

3. 25

Then this (25) will surely come. This (25) comes. This (25) is the blessing of the throne.

[Eternity]

Then the work we have done becomes eternal. No doubt about it. Starting from now, as you begin to enjoy it through prayer. If you are able to pray for God’s kingdom and the power of the throne to come upon your work, works will surely happen. World evangelism will take place. Just look at this (the conclusion) and do it this way. When you go straight to the field, right away there may be difficulties, but it is alright.

There is one very peculiar church somewhere, in Busan. I was put in charge of the middle and high school students there. There was nothing difficult about it. To give you a sense of the situation — there was an apartment in front of that church where a senior judge lived. His son was the president of our high school group. When I went to visit, the judge was a deacon, and he said this to me: “Hmm… Evangelist, please have our child not be the president.” That is what he said. “Ah, I understand what you mean,” I said. “When the kids come to church, they all get ruined.” That is what I said. As an evangelist. So this senior judge deacon was startled and said, “Evangelist, how did you know that?” “That is right. I will take responsibility for it,” I said. “I see,” he said.

From that point on, I went to the school every day, to see the kids. What else did I have to do — that is what I had to do. Back then there were no phones, you had to go in person. I did that — giving the kids encouragement, checking how much studying they knew how to do, and if they were lacking in something, getting someone to help them — that is what I was doing, just that. So the elders were really praising me, saying all kinds of things — what is there to praise about that, it was just the natural thing to do, as an evangelist.

Works started happening among the kids. Of course they did. Even if I had done something special — I did nothing. What amazing method or skill did I have? None. I have no particular specialty at all. Even so, all you need is to connect with the kids. Then if you go somewhere else, it will be the same — what am I going to do there? Only, uniqueness, re-creation.

Those of you doing missions, and our young missionary going to India — hold tightly to the covenant and I bless you to enjoy the highest answers, in the name of the Lord Jesus. Let us pray.

Prayer. Thank you, God. Through the covenant that we naturally receive, let me live and let the field live. Please bless our congregation’s finances sufficiently to do world evangelism. When we dedicate ourselves for the church, please open the door of the throne. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
