We must look a little further into our Remnants.

The bartizan of Jesse is important, but this is the bartizan of young David. It is Psalm 78:70 and 72. Remnants do not need to have answers right now. The question is, what is a true answer?

▣ Introduction_ True Answer

Remnants will succeed if they just worship well.

1. Covenant
It is grasping the covenant. In every area, you just need to grasp the covenant.
2. Kingdom of God – Waiting (Prayer)
When you do that, the second thing follows. The Kingdom of God is bound to come. You wait for this. This waiting is called prayer. Remnants just need to hold onto the covenant.
3. Absolute Bartizan
If you do that, one day an absolute bartizan is created. We are helping them reach this point.

If Remnants hold onto the covenant and pray, an absolute bartizan is made. Without a single exception. From then on, Joseph also began to be victorious. Because this (absolute bartizan) was made first, every path he walked was an answer. What happens if this (absolute bartizan) is not made? Joseph would have died while being dragged away. He was dragged to a very difficult place and sold as a slave. He probably would have become sick while going. However, because Joseph was certain of this (absolute bartizan), he predicted where he was going as he went. He probably thought, “I will likely be sold to Egypt.” World evangelization can only happen there. Amazing things would happen. For David as well, this (absolute bartizan) was made first.

▣ Main_ Shepherd

Therefore, we need to look at what David did while he was a shepherd.

1. Poetry
One-third of the Psalms belong to David. That means he wrote a lot of poetry.

1) Word: This means David already knew many of the Words being passed down. While being a shepherd might be tedious, it was a very good time schedule.
2) Psalms: Thus, many of the Psalms David wrote are very good. Among David’s Psalms, everyone probably knows at least one.
3) 23:1-6: Among David’s Psalms, the one that gives me the most strength is Psalm 23:1-6. This is a psalm he wrote when he was suffering greatly. And what did David do there?

2. Praise – Evil Spirit
He praised. To what extent did David praise? To the extent that evil spirits departed. The fact that he played an instrument in King Saul’s palace means he had skill. The evil spirit that was attached to King Saul departed.
3. Concentration Prayer
And David already did three types of concentration prayer here.

1) Psalm 5:3: In Psalm 5:3, it says, “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice.” To go out as a shepherd, you must go early.
2) Psalm 23:1: During the day, “The Lord is my shepherd.” I am a shepherd tending sheep, but the Lord is my shepherd.
3) Psalm 17:3: Also in Psalm 17:3, it says, “Though you probe my heart and examine me at night.”
He was already doing this while he was a shepherd.

4. Skill – 300%
Because of this, the fourth thing comes: skill. At that time, it is said that people other than David also threw stones to protect animals. They even say there were competitions for hitting targets with stones. David prepared this (skill) completely to the level of 300% here.
5. Future – King
And in Psalm 78:71, these words appear: “from tending the sheep he brought him to be the shepherd of his people Jacob, of Israel his inheritance.” What is this? It is the future. Thus, God raised him as a king while he was a shepherd.

Remnants do not need to have answers right now. If you just hold onto the covenant now, it is bound to be fulfilled. It is truly a miracle among miracles. The fact that our Remnants gather and think, “I must pray,” is success in itself. For them to already say, “We will do 7·7·7 prayer and breathing prayer,” is a blessing in itself.

This immense blessing has been prepared. Because it is certain that your children, the Remnants, will receive some answers, you must prepare the vessel. You just need to do that. You must have the vessel prepared. David prepared his vessel completely. Since it is certain that a great work will happen, make them prepare a large vessel. Thank you. People often struggle to understand the concept of 300%, but the second most important aspect is field applicability. This is why our music teams must quickly see the field of the 5,000 tribes. You must go and see for yourselves what their level of music is. Seeing the high-quality teams here today, you should catch on to the fact that there are teams of this caliber. Currently, the overseas fields are wide open; they are laid out before us. Because you cannot see the field at all, your businesses, your jobs, and your evangelism do not work well. Today, in particular, we are looking at the bartizan established by Jesse.

▣ Introduction_ The Field
There are three major aspects of the field that you must absolutely know.

1. The Spiritual World
People are completely ignorant of the spiritual world. That is why problems cannot be solved.

1. Spiritual Ignorance: People are incredibly ignorant regarding spiritual things. They don’t even know why difficulties come. Leaders today are keeping their mouths shut about one thing: the rapidly increasing mental illnesses. If we are not careful, more than half of Japan could succumb to this. Many leaders don’t speak about it because it is difficult. This is how little they know the field.
2. Spiritual Impotence: Consequently, they have zero spiritual strength. They have skills and everything else, but they lack spiritual power.
3. Spiritual Problems: Because of this, spiritual problems that cannot be solved keep emerging. People keep their mouths shut, but serious spiritual problems are coming to children within their homes. This is why gathering the children for things like Top Remnant is so important. You must keep gathering them to provide spiritual training. While doing this (Intro 1), it is okay.

2. The Bartizan of Darkness
The bartizan of darkness is constantly being created. When people commit suicide, they don’t just do it. A bartizan of darkness was formed inside them first. We might criticize or be shocked, but in reality, this (darkness bartizan) has been built over a long period.

1. Schools: There are many schools worldwide, yet they are completely unable to provide this training (Intro 1).
2. Superpowers – Darkness: Powerful nations are currently building bartizans of darkness. A situation has arisen where bartizans are being made for this.
3. Jews – Main Figures: Specifically, the Jews, who should be preaching the gospel best, are acting as the main figures for the bartizan of darkness. They still do not know why they faced disasters seven times. They still do not know the reason why they lost their nation and wandered for about 2,000 years. If you go to Washington, they have built a memorial. They hold onto the resentment—the memorial shows “we suffered like this”—but they still don’t know the reason. They are in a state of spiritual ignorance.

Think about this during Top Remnant or these meetings. During their lives, these children have never met a person of prayer. Their parents lack the power of prayer. When they go to school, their teachers lack it even more. That is truly unfortunate. Even when they go to church, the teacher in charge is not a person with the power of prayer. Then they meet friends. Do those friends have that power? No. This is the start, and the end is marriage, but when they marry, everyone is equally powerless. Then they give birth and raise children.
For our children to come to church, learn spiritual things, and learn prayer—that is a miracle. Right? There is no greater answer than this. When even one such person of prayer emerges, history happens and the posterity is saved. Just one person.

▣ Main_ Value
This is the value that the man named Jesse saw. What did he see?

1. Psalm 78:70-72
Looking at David, the highest occupation in Israel was a shepherd. The fact that he entrusted that to David is key.

1. Faith: David cultivated his faith there.
2. Skill: David cultivated his skill there.
3. Future: There, he prepared for the future at the level of becoming a king. Jesse saw this part as incredibly important. He entrusted this to David.

2. 1 Samuel 16:1-13
Also, look at the very important passage in 1 Samuel 16:1-13.

1. High Priest: A visit from the High Priest at that time was very significant. The High Priest—Samuel—visited Jesse’s house. This is a massive message.
2. Mission: He came there and gave David a very important mission.
3. Oil: Then, he anointed him with oil.
An immense event took place. As parents, you must consider this part (Main 1) and this important mission (Main 2) as importantly as Jesse did. There, he spoke of the top-secret matter of becoming a king and anointed him.

3. 1 Samuel 17:18-23
More importantly, Goliath invaded.

1. Crisis: Israel was in a crisis. It reached a point where Goliath said, “Let’s not go to war, but fight one-on-one. If I lose, the Philistines will surrender.” He told Israel to surrender if no one could beat him. Goliath attacked like this for 40 days. That was the moment.
2. Errand: At this time, look at Jesse. He sends David on an errand. This is part of Israel’s education. He sent him on an errand. He should have told him not to go to a dangerous place where war broke out, but he already knew this (Main 2). David will become a king in the future, right? Even knowing that, he sends him on an errand. While sending him, he says, “You must go, deliver this, and bring back a token of their safety.” In my view, David is great, but Jesse is an amazing person.
Look at the whole picture. He entrusted his most precious property to David despite having many other sons. He was a person of prayer, enough for the High Priest to visit. The High Priest anointed David and left. In doing so, all the missions were given. As I understand it, he gave two major things: “If you want to make this nation firm in the future, do this. And prepare to build the temple.” David received those two things, established one thousand bartizans, and prepared for the temple. Then, this event (Main 3) happened. Normally, we would say, “Don’t go.” But Jesse said, “Go and bring back a token.”
3. Mission: David goes there and realizes an important mission. He tells his brothers, “I will fight Goliath.” The brothers were very angry and insulted him. They called him wicked and conceited. He said he would fight Goliath, and they said, “How can you, at such a young age, fight a general? Stop talking nonsense.” David replied, “Is there not a cause?” He said there was a reason. Then, as you know, he went before Goliath and broke him at once. This important incident erupted.

It may look like a small prayer you are offering, but it is not small. All of David’s prayer and faith started here (the pasture) during his childhood. When we say “we do the Remnant movement,” those are very important words. In the pasture, David already wrote many praises, prayers, and poems. This means he looked at the Word a lot. One day, this event (Main 2) took place. It is very important for us to pray for our posterity. It is truly important to pray for your children when they go somewhere. Haven’t I mentioned this a few times? My mother never missed early morning prayer. After coming back from prayer, she held onto me and prayed every single day while I was sleeping. That is not an easy thing to do. Right? But that is a big thing. It is so big that it connects to world evangelization. You must do that. Especially errands—it is very important what kind of errands you give to children.

▣ Conclusion

1. Absolute Covenant
He came to possess an unshakeable absolute covenant. We must plant an unshakeable absolute covenant in our posterity.
2. Situation – No Calculation
More importantly, any situation is okay. In any situation, do not calculate. Do not think, “Will I live because of this? What should I do? Is this disadvantageous?” The covenant does not change regardless of the situation.
3. Relationship – God
Even more importantly, all things are God’s blessing. To us, it’s not about calculation; it’s about relationship. Regardless of the situation, it’s not calculation; it’s our relationship with God. It’s not calculation with the church; it’s my relationship with the church. That is what’s important. Right? Think about it now. It is your relationship with the church, your relationship with God, and your relationship with the covenant. It is not calculation. Therefore, because this one figure emerged, Israel came to life. Even more importantly, the temple for world evangelization was prepared. You must enjoy this blessing and deliver it to the posterity.

3. Spiritual Disease – Globalization
Consequently, spiritual diseases keep occurring. These spiritual diseases are literally becoming globalized. That is why we do missions.
Plant a certain covenant in the young Remnants. Give a certain mission to our young posterity. Then, what happens? They will fulfill a certain mission. This is the work of blessing you are doing now. Specifically, today, we are having a Remnant meeting at this church. The church is a blessing, and this region is a blessing. In the future, the posterity who move the world will arise. I will pray.

For our Remnant and TCK, the start is incredibly important. Right?

Because the start is incredibly important

3 Today
It is about how you do these 3 Todays. When doing the 3 Todays, there is something Remnants must check above all else. There are things that are not working. Things you cannot do. You must check those. You can leave the things that are going well alone, but you must check the things that are not working. Consequently, it becomes like this.
Nobody
There is no one to help. I am not doing well either.
Nothing
I have nothing. That is why it is hard. But all the answers are contained in this. I realized that I was in this state. Therefore, only one natural answer can come out. I have no one to help me. Then, naturally, there is only above. But I received all my answers through this. I agonized over health. When I was young, I can only remember my father always lying down because he was sick. How could I not be interested in that? I saw this as a message. After realizing the Gospel, I saw that this was a message. Everywhere I went, I saw people worrying about money. What all adults said most was that they had no money. I received that as a message. Churches use the word evangelism the most, but they are the worst at it. Then that is it. I grasped those three things as my message. The answer came. Remnants must remember. Do you do the 3 Todays well? It is impossible. Hold onto the things that are not working and the things you cannot do.

3 Concentration
How do you do 3 Concentration? First of all, if Remnants try to do this 3 Concentration properly right away, it is difficult.
(one time)
Just do exactly one time, the most important one time. If you do just one time, a bartizan is established in you, the journey is seen, and the guideposts are seen; from then on, it becomes 24. Joseph did 24. Why? Because the bartizan was already standing. When a bartizan stands in us, we want to do that, and it happens. Therefore, concentrate on this immense thing (7.7.7), this blessing, just once, just once a day. Then something will come out. Things like “I should study this way” or “I should do this” will come out. Taking that

3 Setting
With that, you do the 3 Settings. For example, doing this came out as my mission. Or someone asked me to do it, or something will come out. From this point on, you must develop a constant habit.

Edit(Words)
It is to keep editing this. Simply put, it is gathering materials. You must go until you can say there are no more materials. Then the Word will come out. The Word becomes the answer. This becomes the answer.

Plans(Prayer)
And while constantly editing this, you do the planning to see the continuous plan. In this, there is surely a plan, and God’s plan is in it too. Then it comes exactly as a prayer answer. Now, you have no choice but to succeed. Now you can see that it will work if you do it this way.

Design(Evangelism)
We call that design. We call this evangelism. Because this is the goal. If my industry and studies have no connection to evangelism, it is a failure. This must also become a habit.

Some people only speak from one side when they talk. They cannot succeed. You must keep looking at the whole. Even if I run a bakery, I keep studying about bread. Right? That person is the one who succeeds. A person who continues a business reads books about it. Reading books is not about learning, but about looking at information. Every now and then, if there is a bookstore while I am passing by, I go in. Even if I don’t buy, I take a look. I see what kind of books are coming out. Especially, if there is something I feel I don’t know well, I pull it out and take a look. That also helps. When I think “Should I read this book?”, I look at the table of contents first. And then I see who the author is. There are useless businessmen. Then I don’t look at most of it. Because I have already grasped all the content. Just by looking at the table of contents, I can see this book was written by a New Age team. Ah, I see this is a work of the Freemasons. Then I check if there are special words or not, and just looking at the table of contents is enough. You can read even 10 books a day. You shouldn’t read them all. Why would you read them all? You don’t even have time. This kind of habit must be formed. For Remnants. Every now and then, you should read books that give you strength and listen to the Word that gives you strength.

3 Answers
Next, what Remnants must start is to find it anywhere. 3 Answers. If you cannot find this, it is a big problem. All problems have answers. It is finding this.

3 Preparations
Three preparations. Remnants must prepare three things. No need for two words. Expertise 100%, Field applicability 100%, Future orientation 100%. Looking at this, as expected, it is this.

It is preparing this. You should prepare this way before going out; don’t just go out and try to do something without being prepared. That is no ordinary thing. Why should you suffer such pain? It is very foolish. Does a person attending seminary, a person who will become a pastor, go out without studying anything about evangelism? That is truly being a fool. First, I read all the books about evangelism. I learned many things, but it was not the answer. The answer came from here (the Bible). I was surprised too. And I went to the field every day. I went to the field and met teachers and met children. It wasn’t that I did anything special, but an ordained deacon who was a Korean language teacher said, “I have never seen a person like you, Evangelist.” I understood what that meant. It meant that no one comes to the students like that. Is there a path for me? I had to come. There is no path. Even if there were a cell phone, I wouldn’t go. This is the only path. But I saw the field 100%. Then, unless you are a fool, what you need to prepare comes out. So, when I prepared and became a pastor, it was as an assistant pastor. How good is that. I reported to the senior pastor. Pastor, there are many people who fight in our church, but there are even more committed workers. There are many people doing such useless things, but there are even more people who pray. How about opening an evangelism school? I will do all the preparation. He told me to do it. Since everyone had to come after finishing work in the evening, I opened the evangelism school in the evening. Still, since the senior pastor had to give the lecture, I made the manuscript for him. The pastor is also kind. He took what I gave and did it. Immediately, the church began to undergo change. To me, it was so easy. Why? Because I was prepared. Other people do not prepare. The pastor I served was from a good school and was a great person, but because he hadn’t made this preparation at all. He had to learn from me. It cannot be helped. A Remnant goes out into the world, but went out without any preparation? That is neither courage nor faith. You say, “God will be with me.” You do. But the fact is you didn’t prepare a single thing that God gave. That makes no sense. Then there is no need to even go to church. Remnants must not be deceived.

Wherever you are, as a conclusion, prepare this and go out. Any job is fine. Prepare 300%. There are people here who have pioneered, right? Prepare 300%. When you go to church, there are three courtyards. I am not talking about facilities. It is a system. When you go, the age of the three-day weekend opens. When you come here, you realize what prayer is. You just need to prepare. In the future, the three courtyards, the age of the three-day weekend, and the age of meditation will be immense. I am constantly speaking while preparing for the future in advance. It will happen in earnest during the time of our posterity. Because Remnants are much faster and smarter than us, once they are imprinted, history happens. I will pray.

Enjoying Prayer in Times of Crisis

Jeremiah 33:1-9. While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the Lord came to him a second time: 2 “This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: 3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ 4 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says about the houses in this city and the royal palaces of Judah that have been torn down to be used against the siege ramps and the sword 5 in the fight with the Babylonians: ‘They will be filled with the dead bodies of the people I will slay in my anger and wrath. I will hide my face from this city because of all its wickedness.

What do you do when you find yourself in trouble like the prophet Jeremiah, who was locked away in the courtyard of the guard despite having done nothing wrong? In those moments of confinement and crisis, before you seek counsel from anyone, remember the Word of God that has come to you through your local church and your daily worship (Jeremiah 33:1).

The first step in overcoming any trial is to remember exactly who your Father is. He is the One who made the earth, formed it, and established it—the Lord is His name (Jeremiah 33:2). When you realize that the Creator of the universe is the one in control, you understand that nothing is too hard for Him. With this absolute assurance, all you need to do is call to Him. Your Father has promised that when you do, He will answer you in ways you could never imagine, revealing remarkable secrets and unsearchable things about the future that you do not yet know (Jeremiah 33:3).

God uses these seasons of trouble to open your eyes to the spiritual reality of a world covered by darkness and stricken by disasters (Jeremiah 33:4-5). He intends to use your life to declare His remarkable secret: the mystery of Christ. Wherever you carry this gospel, God brings health, healing, peace, security, and forgiveness. In the process, your life becomes a vessel that brings Him renown, joy, praise, and honor before all nations. The world will witness the good things God has done for you, and they will be in awe of the abundant prosperity and peace He provides (Jer 33:6-9).

Thus, do not be discouraged by your present circumstances. Crises do not create a person’s character; they reveal it. Just as an able captain proves his skill by navigating through a great storm, your troubles are an opportunity to discover the true color of your faith in Christ. When the storms of life rage, do not try to avoid them or overreact in fear. Instead, believe that God allows these trials to mold you until you are perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Use these challenging times to renew your strength, align your life with God’s plans, and strain forward toward the goal He has set for you.

Turn every worry into a single, focused question: “What is God’s will in this?” You can have absolute confidence in approaching Him because if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us (1 John 5:14). To maintain this connection, you must let go of the scars of the past and any grudges you may hold. When your heart does not condemn you, you gain a boldness before God to receive what you ask because you are doing what pleases Him—believing in Jesus and loving one another (1 John 3:21-23).

Connect everything—every meeting, every event, every person—to the Word of God. Jesus promised that if you remain in Him and His words remain in you, you can ask whatever you wish, and it will be done (John 15:7). Just as a branch receives life-giving nutrients by staying connected to the vine, you will bear fruit when you are connected to Christ through His Word.

Most importantly, pray in the name of Jesus. This is the name that broke the power of Satan, removed the root cause of your problems, and brought you into the kingdom of light. When you pray in His name, your prayer is powerful and effective, and God mobilizes His heavenly host to accomplish His plans (Heb 12:22; Jas 5:16).

Never be discouraged in prayer. Even when you are too weak to find the words, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with wordless groans, knowing exactly what is on your heart (Rom 8:26). Ultimately, prayer is the awareness and enjoyment of the presence of God. When you realize you are living in the presence of the One who created everything from nothing, your worries will cease. You will find that He Himself is your greatest reward, and being alone with Him in worship will become your greatest joy.

Prayer. Father, I thank You for answering my prayer and revealing great and unsearchable things to me. I surrender my circumstances to You and ask that You use my life to proclaim Your message of healing to all nations. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Missions That Finds Prepared Souls

Scripture Reading: Joshua 2:1-15

We may not realize how important this 237 Missions Devotion Service is. We often realize its significance only after it has passed. Having the faith to know it in advance is crucial. When I meet many people, they often say things like, “It’s working,” “It’s not working,” “There is an answer,” “There is no answer,” “This is good,” or “This is bad.” It is difficult to achieve world evangelization with that kind of mindset. Joseph and the people who were taken as captives to Babylon—those who moved the world in the Bible—never used such words. For Joseph, there was no “it’s working” or “it’s not working.” Those taken to Babylon didn’t focus on whether things were going well or not. Their characteristic was that they knew what was important, so they confessed, “Jehovah is with me.” What does this mean?

[Gospel Meeting]

First, you must know that throughout history, there are meetings that fulfill the Gospel.

[Blocking Meeting]

Also, in the Bible, there are meetings that block the Gospel.

[Disaster]

Because Israel unknowingly had meetings that blocked the Gospel, their posterity fell into disaster.

[True Answer]

Meetings that fulfill the Gospel bring true answers. You must know these two things. You must know when true answers come and when disasters strike. The Jews unknowingly blocked the Gospel, and as a result, their descendants died miserably. Therefore, knowing what missions is is a tremendous thing.

Missions is finding the one whom God has prepared. Because the true blessing is finding the person God has already set aside, that is missions. Today is the 237 Missions Devotion Service. Something important emerged in the text we read, Joshua 2:1-15. What is the conclusion? It is the two spies and Rahab. This is missions. This is the true answer. Look at the extent of it. Real answers follow a meeting for the true Gospel. Conversely, curses inevitably follow a meeting that blocks the Gospel. Not knowing this, Pharaoh later tried to kill all the Israelites and prevent them from offering the blood sacrifice. Disaster came. People don’t know why it comes. Nations set up idols that block the Gospel. They all failed. They don’t know why they failed. There was a time when God set aside Europe and blessed America. Why? At one point, Europe essentially blocked the Gospel. They were seized by terrible wars. They don’t realize it. But at one point, meetings to testify to the Gospel began to take place on American soil. It reached a point where people said Europe is a Catholic continent while America is a Protestant nation. How much did God bless America? Even Americans themselves don’t fully know. They don’t know why. Through America, the doors for Protestant world evangelization opened widely. Americans were shocked when they came to Korea, asking how it developed so much. Our Korea has sent the second-largest number of missionaries in the world. Whenever I think of missions, something comes to mind. Missionaries entered when our country was in incredibly difficult straits. How underdeveloped was our nation? We only worshiped idols. How much did we fail to realize? We bowed down to trees. That was our country. At that time, subways were running in Europe. In Japan, underwater railways were running beneath the sea. In our country, we gathered to worship idols, fought just like we do now, and walked around in straw shoes. Even when I was young, there were lines of A-frame carriers at Busan Station. People coming down by train from Seoul would put their luggage on those carriers. That was our country. China and Russia constantly harassed us. Japan harassed us to check China and Russia. Our country was stuck in the middle, leaning this way and then that way. When we leaned toward Russia, Japan came and killed the Queen. Because we leaned toward Russia. The ones who blocked all this curse were the early missionaries to our country. It almost became a disaster. But the power of the Gospel began to appear in our nation. Now the Gospel is gradually disappearing and people are trying to restore other things, but we must restore the Gospel. Works inevitably happen after a Gospel meeting. Disasters inevitably strike after the Gospel is blocked. The Jews said something terrifying. “Crucify Jesus and release Barabbas.” The citizens said this during the trial. You can make a choice. Release the robber Barabbas and crucify Jesus. We need the Law; we don’t need the Gospel. We don’t need Christ. And then they said, “If this is wrong, let the price of this blood be on our descendants.” They said a fearsome thing. That is Matthew 27:25. It was about 30 or 40 years after Jesus died, resurrected, and the Gospel began. A wind of destruction blew through Israel. It was beyond imagination. Israel was scattered to every nation. Most died in gas chambers, drowned, or were burned to death; they almost all died. In Germany alone, 6 million died. They died miserably. How could that happen? That was the year 70 AD, and it continued into the 1900s. The Jews still don’t know why. When I meet Jews, I try to ask them and teach them. They still don’t know. You must know well what missions is; we cannot do missions if we fluctuate based on small answers. Remnants, don’t go around talking about how the church is, how the pastor is, or how the elders are. You can absolutely never do missions that way. we must grasp the proper covenant.

▣ Introduction

  1. 1:1-9

    What did He say in the first service today? Be courageous. Do not fear. Do not be dismayed. I have already given it. He said this, but upon going, the work is not easy.

  2. Jordan, Jericho, Amorites, Anak

    They haven’t even crossed the Jordan yet. In that state, they went to spy in order to collapse Jericho today. And tremendous dangers remain ahead. The battle with the Amorites. Also, the fearsome hill country of Anak remains.

  3. 7 Nations – 31 Kings

    What’s even harder is that the 7 nations are still waiting. It was so complicated that there were 31 kings. These idolatrous nations are there to occupy Israel. That is when they go. This is missions. At this time, three people were important.

[Two Spies – Rahab]

First, they had to collapse Jericho; since they had to collapse it after crossing the Jordan, they went as spies. There, they entered the house of Rahab the prostitute. A work that changed history happened there. An event that completely changed the age occurred there. You must keep this in mind. When you have a Gospel meeting, an evangelism meeting, or a missions meeting, three things inevitably happen. It is certain. Setting aside those who don’t believe. If you know this, you will realize how important missions, evangelism, and the church are. Entering the land of Canaan is the absolute plan, but this is the situation. Since they couldn’t just enter any house, they entered Rahab’s house, which served as a restaurant and a place many people could visit. The appearance of these spies was different. So someone reported to the king of that nation. “Spies have come. They are suspicious. I am reporting that they entered Rahab’s house.” The text we read today is about that. When the report was made, the police and special forces sent by the king came looking for them. “Where are these spies? Hand them over.” That’s what happened. So Rahab answered. When they told her to bring them out, she said they weren’t there. “I don’t know where they went. They went out around the time the gate was closing. If you hurry and follow them now, you will catch them. Go see.” She lied. Those people left thinking they had to catch them quickly. After they left, the city gate was closed. At that time, where did Rahab hide the two spies? She hid them on the roof. There were probably doors leading out to the attic. She hid them on the roof. In verse 7, it says those people went as far as the fords of the Jordan, but the gate was closed. Rahab went up to the roof, and the words she spoke are recorded. These are the words Rahab spoke to the two spies. “Jehovah has given this land to you.” Jehovah gave it. And then she said something important. “The people in this city are so afraid that their hearts have melted.” That is incredible information. She also said this: “Did you not overcome Egypt and come out? And today’s text: Did you not cross the Red Sea?” And she said that when the kings heard this, what happened? Their hearts melted. What happens when the heart melts? She said their hearts melted. Not only that, in verse 11, it says they lost their spirit. Some kings have no spirit. They think it’s a disaster. And she says, “When you come to save Jericho, help my family and my father’s house.” This woman is shrewd. She told them to swear and give her a sign. Then in verse 14, the spies said, “We will surely be victorious and protect your family.” They said they would set them apart. If you continue reading later, her confession of faith appears. This is the meeting I am talking about.

▣ Main

1. A meeting that is a turning point that changes history

First. It is a meeting that is a turning point that changes history. This is missions. You may think of it lightly, but it actually became this way. History changes. It is a meeting that becomes a turning point there.

[The Prepared One]

What do we call this? The one whom God has prepared. The prepared one.

  1. Spies (2:1-7): Looking at the spies, the fact that she hid them instead of reporting them is itself God’s work. In our terms, she hid spies. She hid spies, deceived the king, and lied. That is how it looks in the eyes of the world, but to Rahab, it was not so. “This person is a person of Jehovah God, the Creator of the heavenly hosts. It is natural that they overcame Egypt and came out, and they will enter the land of Canaan. Since we are occupying this land illegally, it is right that we die. Please save me.”

  2. 9-11: As I mentioned, in verses 9-11, she gave information that would give strength to Joshua. What did she say? “Everyone’s heart melted upon hearing the news of your coming out of Egypt.” She only heard the rumor, but this woman realized the covenant. To God’s chosen people, history comes even when they only hear the Word.

  3. 12-13: In 12-13, she speaks again. She asks them to choose her, and she sends the spies away. This simple mission became a historical turning point.

2. Time schedule where the living Word is fulfilled

God promised. It is the time schedule where the living Word is fulfilled.

[Disciple]

So this person is a prepared one, but also a disciple. This is missions. This is the 237 blessing. When you look at multi-ethnic people with these eyes, they look incredibly precious. It’s not just about being unconditionally nice; they are seen through 24 prayer. Look at these people.

  1. 40 Years in the Wilderness: Hearing the rumor. After hearing the news of what happened during the 40 years in the wilderness, she knew who Jehovah was.

  2. Red Sea: She spoke in verse 10. She heard the news of the Exodus and the Red Sea. After hearing this rumor…

  3. Tabernacle – Ark of the Covenant: She is a disciple who heard what happened on the path where the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant went and grasped the covenant. It is more than that.

3. A meeting that will save the world

This missions meeting becomes a meeting that will save the world.

[Committed Worker]

What do we call this? A committed worker. It is the time to meet the prepared one, the disciple, and the committed worker who move missions. Next week, the story of collapsing Jericho will come out.

  1. Canaan (Together): After that, Rahab’s family was saved. Where do they go? They go to the land of Canaan together. A miracle-like thing happens.

  2. Marriage – Salmon – Boaz – Obed – Jesse – David (JX): She gets married there. She meets a man named Salmon and gets married. And whom did she bear? She bore a son named Boaz. She bore Boaz. This Boaz got married and bore a figure named Obed. This Obed got married and bore a man named Jesse. This man Jesse got married and bore David. It is beyond imagination. Rahab the prostitute grasped the covenant and went to Canaan, but she didn’t make this happen herself. She just got married. She did, but David came out of here. What’s even more amazing is that 14 generations after this descendant, Jesus Christ came. That is why the blind man said, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.” This appears in Matthew 1; according to the physical lineage, Jesus is of the lineage of David. In John 1, it says He is not of human lineage but is the Triune God. This is missions. As you do multi-ethnic ministry in the future, you must realize the immense meaning of the three courtyards, evangelism, and missions and treasure them.

▣ Conclusion

  1. Bible – Meeting (Missions)

    In conclusion, the Bible shows blessings of meetings that are completely incomprehensible. These blessings of meetings are all evangelism and missions. I believe the first miracle was the meeting between Joseph and the people who sold him as a slave. It is amazing. What would have happened if this person had sold him elsewhere? He sold him to Egypt. What would have happened if this person had sold Joseph to a restaurant? He sold him to Potiphar’s house. Look at all the meetings of the 7 Remnants.

  2. Church History

    Look at the meetings in church history. Even now, what I find most amazing and incomprehensible is the church leader who hid Martin Luther. Even thinking about it now, church leaders are amazing when I see that. He received God’s guidance and hid Martin Luther. This became a work that changed the world.

  3. 237 – 5000

    Now, the question is who will save the 237 and 5,000 tribes. This is important. That is why we found the 237 and the 5,000 tribes. Many remnants will come. I only grasped this covenant, but as time passed, true answers have come. They unknowingly blocked the Gospel. They unknowingly blocked it, and disaster came. This has been proven historically. Therefore, missionaries, many very important covenants came out this time, so grasp them firmly. It’s not about whether there is an answer or not. Do not be shaken; grasp the covenant and go. Do not calculate whether it works or not. Grap only God’s covenant and relationship. I will pray.

Prayer. Father, let us receive Your grace for a week. Let us hold onto the Word that is fulfilled. While praying for a week, let all darkness be bound. Let the disaster that blocks the Gospel be bound. Let the door of 237 missions that preaches the Gospel be opened. Please bless the people who grasped the covenant and attended this meeting 10 million times over. Bless them so they can establish 10 million disciples. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
