When Is Our Fellowship with Christ Broken?

Romans 7:18. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.

Our fellowship with Christ is broken when we ignore or neglect the Word of God. It happens when we hear the Word but do not put it into practice. We deceive ourselves if we only listen to the Word but do not obey it.

As a result, we blindly follow the desires of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16). The lust of the flesh means craving worldly pleasures without considering God’s purpose. We cannot see the spiritual blessings already given to us in Christ. The lust of the eyes refers to selfish ambitions, material greed, and the desire for more status or recognition. The pride of life is self-glorification, putting ourselves at the center of everything instead of glorifying God. None of these comes from God. They come from the world, and they lead us away from Him.

Even when fellowship is broken, our identity in Christ does not change. We are still saved, but we experience spiritual confusion, loss of joy, and an uncomfortable relationship with God. Instead of walking in peace and freedom, we begin to suffer inwardly, as Paul confessed in Today’s Word.

Jesus warned about the things that break our fellowship with Him. He said that it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance, and foolishness (Mark 7:21-22). When these things take hold of our hearts and minds, we lose the joy of being with Christ. We begin to live in darkness instead of light.

This is why we must stay away from these things and instead seek the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit produces love, joy, and peace in our relationship with God; patience, kindness, and goodness in our relationships with others; and faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in how we live personally (Galatians 5:22-23). These are the signs of a life connected to Christ.

Jesus described our relationship with Him like the relationship between a vine and its branches. He said,

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:4-5)

When we remain in Christ through His Word, worship, and prayer, we stay deeply connected to Him. We grow spiritually, and others see the good fruit coming out of our lives. They will see the light of the gospel in us and give praise to our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). So, start following the Spirit of God:

So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law” (Galatians 5:16-18).

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit by doing what He does not want you to do (Ephesians 4:30). Do not settle for the temporary things of the world that will fade away. Instead, invest your life in the things above, the things that last forever.

Do not quench the Spirit by refusing to obey when He leads you to act, speak, or go somewhere for the sake of the gospel (1 Thessalonians 5:19). If you silence His voice, your fellowship with Christ will grow cold.

God loves you and has called you into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord (1 Corinthians 1:9). He longs for you to live in the joy, peace, and power that come from daily communion with Him. No matter how far you may feel from Christ, His arms are always open, ready to restore and renew your relationship with Him. Return to Him with a heart that listens, trusts, and obeys. He is faithful to forgive, to heal, and to empower so you may stand as His witness to the ends of the earth. May you remain in His love, walk in His Spirit, and bear fruit that lasts for eternity.

Prayer. Lord Jesus, I thank You for every spiritual blessing You have poured into my life since I believed. Help me remain in You and in Your Word. Teach me to live in daily fellowship with You. In Your precious name I pray. Amen.

Fellowship with Christ

Revelation 3:20. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

Salvation is not merely a religious concept or a future promise of heaven. It is the eternal redemption from the power of Satan, sin, and hell, and the present possession of eternal life in Christ. Salvation is the beginning of a new life in the kingdom of God, where Christ becomes the center, and His power, love, and grace define our existence.

To fellowship with Christ is to live daily in an intimate relationship with Him. It is not merely about imitating Jesus or trying to follow His commands and live a moral life. Fellowship is about enjoying Him, experiencing His presence, and allowing His life and power to work in us and through us. It is not about us doing something for Him but about Christ living His life through us, giving us strength, guidance, and joy.

Scripture warns us that there is one who constantly tries to break our fellowship with Christ: “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Satan is the one who blocks unbelievers from seeing and experiencing the grace of God, which is the gospel of Christ. The minds of unbelievers are covered by the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16). Their hearts are filled with jealousy, hatred, worries, and selfish ambitions, preventing them from perceiving the truth.

Tragically, many believers also think and live like unbelievers. They may maintain an outward appearance of godliness, but do not experience the actual power of the gospel in their daily lives (2 Timothy 3:5). Satan cannot take away the eternal life that believers possess in Christ, but he can steal the joy of walking with Christ. He distracts believers with worldly concerns, filling their hearts and minds with the things of this world. These things choke the Word of God, preventing it from growing and making it fruitful (Matthew 13:22).

This is why, whenever the Word of God is proclaimed, it is essential to bind in Jesus’ name the power of the evil spirits that try to blind our minds. We must actively resist the devil’s schemes that attempt to block us from receiving the Word and enjoying fellowship with Christ. At the same time, we must pray and ask God to give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we may know Him better. We need God to enlighten the eyes of our hearts so that we may understand the hope to which He has called us (Ephesians 1:17-18).

Scripture also warns us that in the last days, all sorts of deceptions will keep people from hearing and accepting the truth: “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10).

Satan works tirelessly to block the path of fellowship with God. People end up believing lies instead of the truth, falling into traps of deception. The world is driven by the devil’s instruments of deception: false religions, empty philosophies, corrupt ideologies, and worldly cultures. As a result, people live lives disconnected from the gospel of grace, seeking answers in things that cannot save them or satisfy them.

Satan’s temptations are real and sometimes seem irresistible: “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14). The devil may appear as a religious leader full of grace and kindness. He disguises himself with good works, intellectual knowledge, and an impressive outward character. Since the beginning of time, the devil has deceived countless lives, leading them into destruction while appearing to offer something good.

For this reason, we must continually expose the identity and the activities of the devil, the father of lies. We must shine the light of the gospel through our lives so that people may see the difference between truth and deception. We must continue to pray for those who are weak that they may receive the unconditional love of God and the truth revealed in His Son, Jesus Christ. Only the light of the gospel can break the chains of deception and open the way to true fellowship with God.

Remember, God is not demanding something from you. He is not asking for your efforts or sacrifices to earn His favor. He wants to be with you. He desires fellowship with you. He delights in sharing life with you. As Jesus promised, He has come into you and is living with you. He wants to have a feast with you every day (Revelation 3:20). He invites you to enjoy the abundance of His kingdom for His kingdom work, here and now—not just in the afterlife.

The schemes of the devil will not prevail over you any longer. Christ Jesus will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemy (Psalm 23:5). He will strengthen you and fill you with His peace and joy. So come to His table every day. Spend time with Him in prayer. Listen carefully to His voice through the Word. Open your heart to understand His desires and His love for the world.

Prayer. Father, I thank You for wanting me in Your presence. Help me not to be deceived by the evil one. I desire to enjoy Your fellowship more than anything in this world. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Praise
Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me
CityAlight

What gift of grace is Jesus my redeemer
There is no more for heaven now to give
He is my joy, my righteousness, and freedom
My steadfast love, my deep and boundless peace

To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
For my life is wholly bound to his
Oh how strange and divine, I can sing: all is mine!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me

The night is dark but I am not forsaken
For by my side, the Saviour He will stay
I labour on in weakness and rejoicing
For in my need, His power is displayed

To this I hold, my Shepherd will defend me
Through the deepest valley He will lead
Oh the night has been won, and I shall overcome!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me

No fate I dread, I know I am forgiven
The future sure, the price it has been paid
For Jesus bled and suffered for my pardon
And He was raised to overthrow the grave

To this I hold, my sin has been defeated
Jesus now and ever is my plea
Oh the chains are released, I can sing: I am free!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me

With every breath I long to follow Jesus
For He has said that He will bring me home
And day by day I know He will renew me
Until I stand with joy before the throne

To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
All the glory evermore to Him
When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat:
Yet not I, but through Christ in me!

When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat:
Yet not I, but through Christ in me!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me!

Confession of Faith
The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day, He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
And is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
From thence, He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The Holy Universal Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body
And life everlasting. Amen.

Message
Mission 24 · 25 · Eternity
Pastor Ryu Kwang Su
Full Transcript

Jesus promised missions and said “Only.” Do not worry. Do not try to do anything else. Do not be discouraged just because answers do not come quickly. Wait. “When you receive the Holy Spirit, you will receive power, and you will be witnesses to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

All people are within this time (24, 25, eternity), so you must find the blessing within this time. Even if there is just one person who knows this, that one person can save a church, a region, and a nation.

▣ Introduction_ That which He has hidden
1. He has given what He has hidden to the one who knows the reason.
(1) The 17 disasters – Satan used the method of bringing the 17 disasters.
(2) Situation – Because people do not know this, they are caught in it and hold onto it themselves.
(3) Spiritual problem – They become trapped in spiritual problems that they absolutely cannot let go of.

2. Changing the bartizan – The reason for evangelism and missions, the reason for the three-day weekend age

3. Changing the imprint

4. Finding recreation – The DNA that can carry out world evangelization must change (2 Corinthians 5:17).

5. Changing the future

▷ Because Satan cannot defeat you, he digs in when you worry. Do not worry about anything. If you hold onto this covenant, then depending on where the remnant is, God will find them with everything prepared.

▣ Main point_ You must receive and nurture fundamental strength, the strength to change the imprint, and the strength of recreation.

1. Mission 24 – restoring the power of 24 for missions
Mission 24 is restoring the power God gives.
(1) Daily – 3 concentrations (When you open your eyes, you restore everything. During the day, you confirm this blessing. At night, you find the answer.), 3 settings (You become the platform, the bartizan that shines the light is established, and an antenna of communication is made.), 3 answers (When problems come, you see answers, renewal, and opportunities, so joy comes forth.)
(2) Every hour – 5-minute concentration (exercise, breathing, finding the answer)
(3) Every matter – You receive the answer.

2. Mission 25 – restoring the throne
Mission 25 is not our timetable. We must restore the throne.
(1) The throne – The power by which He created the heavens and the earth with His Word (Genesis 1:1-13), the promise the Lord who sits on the throne gave to Isaiah (Isaiah 6:1-13), the continuous words of the resurrected Christ (Matthew 28:20, Mark 16:20)
(2) The kingdom (Matthew 6:10, 33) – The kingdom of God. “Pray that the kingdom of God will come.” “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.”
(3) The work (Acts 1:3) – The work of the kingdom of God is the answer received by the seven remnants and the people in Hebrews chapter 11.

3. Mission eternity – restoring eternity
Mission eternity is something we cannot do, but it is restoring the eternal things that God has prepared.
(1) 300% – God is set to guide you 100%. He has prepared 100% wherever you go. Do not worry. He has prepared your future 100%.
(2) Making masterpieces – The 7 bartizans, the 7 journeys, and the 7 guideposts are the masterpieces.
(3) Monument – If you leave this behind for the posterity, it becomes a monument.

▷ As you confirm the Word of God, peace must come. Strength must come. This is true healing ministry and the summit movement.

▣ Conclusion
1. One person where – One person who does missions is enough. Where should that person be? That person must be within this covenant.

2. One team who – One team is enough. Who are you meeting? If you have a meeting with the one who evangelizes, you can restore everything.

3. One church only – Just one church that enjoys “only” is enough, and world evangelization will take place. Only the gospel, only prayer, only evangelism, only witness.

▷ Pray so that the spiritual illness of incompetence, which is scarier than any spiritual disease, and poverty, which shakes the whole world, and the binding spiritual diseases may be broken.

The Three Courtyards and the Eternal Answer

2024.08.25 District Message
Scripture Reading: Philippians 4:4-13

Even though they try really hard, there are people who still do not succeed. On the other hand, there are people who do not try that much, yet things go well for them, and they receive answers. Of course, if you put in effort, you will gain help proportionally. Also, if you learn and prepare a lot, that will help you too. But in the end, there are times when, even without much effort, God pours out answers.

The three courtyards and the eternal answer
That is this (the three courtyards). All you need to do is pray.

▣ Introduction – Prayer (heart)
Do not just pray casually; you need to hold this in your heart. Then God will bring the answers. This (the three courtyards) leads to the eternal answer.

1. Genesis 37:11
For example, in Genesis chapter 37 verse 11, there is God’s important covenant—the covenant of the three courtyards—which Joseph held in his heart. Joseph held it in his heart, and Jacob also held it in his heart. That is why God poured blessings upon wherever Joseph went. This is very important. Wherever you go, God brings His blessings. That is exactly the three courtyards. It is important.

2. 1 Samuel 16:1-13
Let us take another example. In 1 Samuel chapter 16 verses 1 to 13, it is the word that the high priest gave to David. Since David was young, he held this in his heart. You must hold God’s word in your heart. God said to David, “I look at your heart alone.”

3. Isaiah 6:13 – Daniel 1:8-9 (Resolve)
In Isaiah chapter 6 verse 13, God said, “More difficulties will come.” He said, “Soon there will be more hardship. But the stump will not disappear. The remnants will rise.” God gave this word. Then, just as the word declared, Israel was taken captive. God’s word is precise. He told Isaiah that Israel would be taken captive. Daniel held this in his heart. Much time passed, but God’s word is eternal, so Daniel held it in his heart. It says, “He resolved.” He said, “I will not eat the meat and sacrificial food from the king’s table.” It seems like nothing special, but what was inside that? “Israel has been taken captive because of their mistakes. I will deliver God’s power and the gospel here.” That resolve means he held it in his heart. God poured His answers upon this. You must enjoy this blessing.

Then, for a moment, consider this in your heart—how does God view us who pray for the three courtyards? We must think about this first. Satan is going crazy, but can Satan defeat God? No, he cannot. God brings the greatest blessing here. Then, what will happen after a few years? You must hold this in your heart. After a few years, many people from various nations will gather here to worship. The remnants of this age will gather here to pray. The sick will come, be healed, and become witnesses. You must think about God’s will. Think about the time when you and I are no longer on this earth. One day we must go, so we must think of that time. Even if you leave nothing else, you must leave footprints that become a monument.

▣ Main point
What are the three courtyards, that God blesses them so much?

1. The 237 courtyard
It is the courtyard where the foreigners can come. That is what we must build. Many people think the Japanese church is behind the Korean church, but I do not think so. The difference is, it is different. In Japan, when someone is sent as a missionary or appointed as a pastor, they take 100% responsibility. It is different. Koreans still go to Japan for baseball, but the Japanese do not come here for baseball. Right? Why? It is the difference in capability and economic power. I was surprised. When someone becomes a pastor in Japan, they provide a house, tuition, and everything. That is how much strength they have. It is different. You must see this accurately.

When I went to Tokyo, I took a walk during my free time between meetings. I saw such good houses. They were so good that I wanted to go in. They built incredibly good buildings in a great area, surrounded by lush forests. Normally the door would be closed and I could not go in, but it was open. So I went in. I walked around as far as I could. What kind of place was it? I looked into it and realized, “Ah, that’s what it is.” It is a place for international students from all over the world to stay. “Ah, it is on a different level.” It is different. We still have a long way to catch up with Japan in this way. They built it so well.

So if there are people who pray, the best thing to have for saving Seoul would be a building where many multiethnic people can stay. Elder Kim Young-Sun once advised me, saying it would be good to have apartments or buildings where many people from various nations can live. That is true. Where children sleep, eat, and live influences them. That is the 237 courtyard.

1) The 7 bartizans
So with the prayer of these people, and with the prayer we enjoy, we must build these bartizans.

2) The 7 journeys
We must teach the journeys they need to walk throughout their lives. We must teach them.

3) The 7 guideposts
Simply put, we must teach them this (the 7 guideposts).

2. The courtyard of healing
There are many who are sick. In the future, if you do not understand the word “healing,” you will not be able to do anything. Treatment and healing are different words. What is treatment? It is when a doctor or pharmacist helps with the sick part. That is treatment. Healing is different. It refers to the whole person. Helping with the background, the aftermath, and all that led to the sickness—that is healing. In English, we often say “healing.” What the doctor does is not exactly “healing” but rather “clinic.”

There is no church that can do this. That is unfortunate. But when you say “healing,” it is not just about gathering the sick. Healing refers to the whole. Someone has a mental problem? There is always a reason in the background. We must heal that. How will they live going forward? There is a way. Someone suddenly got cancer? No, there is always a long-standing reason beforehand.

1) The Word
So first we heal through the Word. We must first revive the spiritual part.

2) Treatment
After that, we treat the sickness. First, revive the inside, then heal the sickness.

3) The pilgrim’s path
Then we must help these people gain strength and walk the pilgrim’s path.

Even now, there is no church in the world that does this (healing) 24 hours a day. That is why our church must become the model.

3. The courtyard of the summit
Finally, there must be a courtyard of the summit where the remnants from all over the world gather. What must we teach them? Two things.

1) Acts 17:1, 18:4, 19:8
Why Christ? We must teach this. Why is worship important? Why is prayer important? They must know this to win. What is the answer to prayer? We must teach this. The visible answer comes later; before that, God’s kingdom must come first. Teaching this is prayer. Remnants must be armed with this before going out.

I will explain this more in the sermon later, but there is a report that by 2030, 100,000 churches in America will close. I will explain this in the first service today. It is because they do not know this (Acts 17:1, 18:4, 19:8). Those of you sitting here must have the eyes of the mystery. Why is that person suffering and facing disaster? It is because they do not have the spiritual standard. We must help them.

In our country, when someone becomes a National Assembly member, from what I see, they are all from prestigious universities. Right? Almost all of them passed government exams. Almost all of them were legal professionals or something similar. They are smart people. But when I hear the words they use, I think, “Ah, this is truly regrettable.” President Yoon needs to assign them work. If someone is close, they say “pro-Yoon.” If someone is a little distant, they say “anti-Yoon.” If someone says a word, they call them “opposed to Yoon.” That is the level. Shouldn’t the president do his work? If you became president, what would you do? You would think, “I must do well.” First, you assign someone a task. Then they say, “That person is pro-Yoon.” It is like that. They have no idea about spiritual communication or the future. Why are they like that? They only care about their own gain.

So for remnants, we must help them understand what Christ is and why He is necessary. They must know what worship is. That is why Paul went into the synagogue on the Sabbath. It was the time of worship. They must know what prayer is. It is when God’s kingdom comes. When you are praying today, God’s kingdom is coming to the places you are going. We must teach this to the remnants.

2) The three-day weekend age
Also, for remnants to build the three courtyards, they must gain the power to seize the world—that is the three-day weekend age.

3) Strength
Remnants must build strength. They must have strength.

When we teach these three (the main points), God cannot help but bless us. You must surely hold this covenant in your heart.

▣ Conclusion

1. Preparation
God has already prepared it. All you need to do is set the right direction.

2. Direction
No matter how excellent a person is, if the direction is wrong, it will not work. If you set the direction right, the work of answers begins. This is not just any answer. It is the answer where God gathers His blessings and gives them to you. So you must hold onto this with the Word.

3. CVDIP
And you must think about the time when you are no longer here. Teach the remnants and others what 24 is. Teach them what 25 is. Teach them what eternity is. This is called CVDIP. You must teach this properly.

The younger they are, the better. If a young remnant listens to this (the entire message) and realizes it in their heart, that is enough. We have our own experiences from life, right? When we were growing up, there were moments when we thought, “Ah, that’s it.” That remains with us. But if you fill your heart with the world, reality, and such things from a young age, it becomes difficult later.

So recently, I went briefly to a gathering of elders and regional representatives. There, I gave them a message: “The church leaders who moved the world were not about calculations; it was about relationship—the relationship with God.” That is what is important. When Abraham calculated, it did not work out. But he kept going on the difficult path. Finally, Abraham made a decision before God. From then on, God told Abraham, “Lift your eyes and look to the north, south, east, and west. Walk through the land.” What happened? It was about the relationship with God. When you look at someone, you must look through the relationship with God. Right? Do not calculate. There was someone who did not calculate. It was Isaac. God blessed Isaac without any difficulty. When you farm, it usually yields one year’s harvest, but for Isaac, it was a hundred years’ worth. Why? Because he had to do world evangelization. That is the blessing you will receive. The wicked kept blocking Isaac’s wells, but Isaac gained the source of the spring. People kept being jealous, but God gave him a bigger field—the blessing of Rehoboth. I explained this to the elders.

The covenant of relationship
It is not just any covenant. It is the covenant of relationship. God promised to be with you and gave you the covenant. Some people always calculate. Who is that? Jacob. He always calculated. So later, even though Jacob was someone who was supposed to be blessed, connected to God and world evangelization, he kept calculating and did not hold onto the covenant. When he returned home, as you know, Jacob started to pray in crisis. That is when God gave him a new name. “Do not call yourself Jacob anymore, but Israel.” That is it. It is about relationship. He gave the covenant. You must hold onto it.

Jacob means “the one who grabs the heel.” Israel means “the one who wrestled with God and prevailed.” How can someone defeat God? If a child persistently asks for something huge from their parents, at first the parents do not give it. Because the child is asking for something unreasonable. But if the child keeps asking, what do the parents say? “Okay, I give up.” Do the parents really lose? No, but they say, “I lost.” It means the parents have acknowledged it. “It is possible for you.” God says, “I lost.” He is saying, “Hold onto this covenant, not your own calculations.” Tremendous things happen. All the children he had were people who calculated, but one person held onto the covenant of relationship with God—that was Joseph. This is important.

Time has gone long, but let me speak for just two more minutes. During the 40 years in the wilderness, those who calculated did not make it. There was a huge difference. When they calculated, they thought they would die. Right? When you look at reality, you end up calculating. When they calculated, they thought it would be hard to enter Canaan. They thought they might starve to death. That was the problem. What did they say? “Let’s go back to Egypt. What if we die here? We have the wrong leader. Let’s go back.” That is what happened. If you calculate wrong, you end up like that.

A truly upright person would have said, “Even if we die here, our descendants must go to Canaan.” Even if they do not believe in God, that is what they should say. It is very difficult. Public opinion turns like that. But only two people held onto the relationship and covenant with God. Who were they? Joshua and Caleb. Actually, at that time, only three people who held onto the covenant entered the land of Canaan. The rest were replaced. There was a generational change, and the descendants entered the land. So teach this to the next generation. Who were the three who entered? Joshua, Caleb, and Rahab. They went in.

If Rahab had calculated, she would not have hidden the spies. Right? The king gave the order, and later the police came and asked, “Did you see the spies?” She said no. She lied, saying they went that way. Why did she do that? She was not calculating. She said, “The Lord is the true God, and you are God’s people. You will surely enter Canaan. Please let me come with you.” And she entered. She came to Canaan, married, and had descendants, and among them came David. Right?

Today, just holding the covenant in your heart is enough. Let us pray.

Prayer
God, we thank You. Let today be the day when we hold the living Word and covenant in our hearts. During this worship, let God’s kingdom come to the places around us where we must go. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Who Is the Resurrected Christ Within You?

Romans 1:2-4. The gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.

Are you living in despair, trapped in the cycle of regret over past scars and failures? Do you find yourself enslaved by the patterns and priorities of this world? Are you unable to stop dwelling on your problems, conflicts, and crises?

God did not call you to live like that. You were never meant to live trapped by your past, held captive by your present, or burdened with fear about the future. You are a child of the King. The One who rules heaven and earth watches over you with eyes like blazing fire (Revelation 1:14). He looks upon you not with condemnation but with love, protection, and purpose.

He has promised to pour His Spirit upon you. In Acts 2:17, God says,

In the last days, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”

So stop dwelling on your past mistakes or present limitations. Lift your eyes to where God is taking you. His plan for you is not behind you—it is ahead of you.

Are you still entangled in the failures of yesterday? Then go back to Calvary. Meet Jesus at the cross and the empty tomb. He is the One who loved you, who died for you, and who rose again for you. He is the One who shattered the curse of sin and set you free.

At Calvary, Jesus endured unspeakable suffering to break the power of the devil over you. The enemy no longer has the authority to control you. By the death and resurrection of Christ, the power of sin, death, hell, and Satan has been broken:

His incomparably great power for us who believe is the same as the mighty strength He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 1:19-20)

Are you tired of being disappointed with yourself? Are you discouraged by repeated failures? Do you find yourself complaining about everything or blaming others for your problems? Remember, God has canceled all the charges against you. He remembers them no more. Because of what Jesus has done on the cross, you have been justified. You are seen by God as holy and blameless.

Never forget who you are in Christ and who you are becoming. You are not defined by your past mistakes, present struggles, or future uncertainties. You are defined by the promise of God, who is at work in you even now: “By the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, He will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body.” (Philippians 3:21).

Are you still searching for answers to your problems? Scripture shows us that all problems began with unbelief in Genesis 3:1-6. Unbelief is not just costly—it is deadly. It separates us from God, brings spiritual death, enslaves us under Satan’s dominion, and ultimately cost the life of the Son of God to restore us to Him.

So stop searching elsewhere. Jesus is the Christ. He is the solution to all your problems. Trust in the One who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The resurrected Christ lives in you. He is leading you to the ends of the earth to testify to the gospel. And when the gospel is proclaimed to all nations, He will return, just as He promised.

So leave your present reality for a moment. Approach the throne of God boldly in prayer. “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).

Prayer. Father, I thank You for the cross that brought me back to You. Help me overcome my unbelief. Help me realize and experience the reality of the resurrected Christ living in me. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Is There Proof of Jesus’ Resurrection?

1 Corinthians 15:3-4.  For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures

Without the death and resurrection of Jesus, we have nothing. The cross of Christ and the empty tomb changed everything. The moment Jesus rose from the dead, the grip of sin, death, hell, and Satan was shattered forever. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus opened the eyes of the spiritually blind, set captives free, and led those trapped in the darkness of sin out of their prisons, just as Isaiah prophesied (Isaiah 42:7).

This is why Paul reminded the Corinthian believers of the most essential truths—the death and resurrection of Christ. These are not optional beliefs or side issues; they are the heart and center of the gospel message. Without them, our faith is meaningless.

The resurrection of Christ was not a random event but a fulfillment of the promises foretold throughout Scripture. David, inspired by the Spirit of God, declared, “Because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your holy one see decay” (Psalm 16:10).

Jesus Himself also foretold His own death and resurrection multiple times. In Luke 18:31-33, Jesus said,

We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. He will be delivered over to the Gentiles. They will mock him, insult him, and spit on him; they will flog him and kill him. On the third day, he will rise again.”

The empty tomb stands as undeniable evidence of His resurrection. After Jesus’ death, His followers took His body and laid it in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea, a wealthy man who had offered his own tomb for Jesus’ burial (Matthew 27:57-61). This, too, was foretold by the prophet Isaiah, who said, “He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death” (Isaiah 53:9).

The religious leaders feared that Jesus’ prediction of rising from the dead might come true. So, the chief priests and Pharisees went to Pilate and asked for the tomb to be secured with a Roman seal and guarded by soldiers (Matthew 27:62-66). But no human effort could stop the power of God that raised Christ from the dead.

Many witnesses saw the risen Christ. Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:5-8,

He appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.”

When Paul wrote this letter, many of these eyewitnesses were still alive, and some of them, perhaps even the centurion and soldiers who had guarded the tomb, could still confirm what they had seen.

In addition to his dramatic encounter with the risen Christ on the road to Damascus, Paul had abundant evidence for the resurrection. That is why he boldly presented this truth to the Corinthians, saying,

If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised” (1 Corinthians 15:14-15).

Paul went on to explain the devastating consequences of denying the resurrection:

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied” (1 Corinthians 15:17-19).

Without the resurrection, the gospel would be powerless, our faith would be meaningless, and there would be no hope beyond the grave.

But the resurrection did happen, and its power was displayed mightily throughout the early church. On the day of Pentecost, Peter stood before the crowd and proclaimed the death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, saying,

Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ” (Acts 2:36).

The response was immediate and powerful. Scripture records,

Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day” (Acts 2:41).

Baptism became the public sign of identification with the death and resurrection of Christ. If Jesus’ body had still been in the tomb, who would have believed Peter’s message? Yet the early believers were willing to stake their lives on the reality of the resurrection.

After Jesus ascended into heaven, His disciples continued to preach everywhere. Mark 16:19-20 tells us,

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.”

The risen Christ worked with them, empowering their mission and confirming their message with miracles and wonders.

The power of the resurrected Lord remains the same today. He has commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations, to heal the sick, to restore wandering believers, and to lead this generation out of spiritual darkness into His marvelous light. Just as He did in the days of the Early Church, Jesus calls us to proclaim His resurrection to all nations.

Thus, let us enter fully into the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For us, every day is Resurrection Day. Every day is Easter Sunday.

Prayer. Lord Jesus, You are the resurrection and the life. Help me to experience the power of Your resurrection in every circumstance. Give me the strength to live a single-minded life for You, a wholehearted life for the gospel, and to walk continually in faith as Your witness. Let me enjoy the blessing of Your presence throughout this day and every day. In Your mighty name, Amen.

Jesus Christ, the Resurrection and the Life

John 11:25-26. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Without truly knowing who Jesus was, the disciples abandoned Him when He was crucified on the cross. At the moment of His death, their hopes were shattered. Even after spending three and a half years with Jesus, witnessing His miracles firsthand and listening to His teachings daily, they still failed to grasp the true meaning of His identity. When He was arrested, tried, and nailed to the cross, they scattered and went back to their former lives, returning to the familiar places they knew before meeting Him.

On the morning after the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary went to the tomb to anoint the body of Jesus. But instead of finding His body, she discovered the stone rolled away and the tomb empty. She rushed to tell the disciples, proclaiming that Jesus had risen from the dead. Yet even after hearing this news, Peter returned to his old life as a fisherman, unable to fully comprehend what had happened.

Why didn’t they believe? Because in human understanding, resurrection is impossible. Scientifically, medically, and physiologically, no one rises from the dead. Jesus had died on the cross and had been buried. From their perspective, death was final. This reveals that even His closest friends and followers did not truly understand who Jesus was. They believed in Him to a point, but they had not fully recognized that He was the Christ—the promised Messiah, the Son of God, the Lord of life.

The same is true today. When someone does not know who Jesus really is, that person remains in spiritual death—a life marked by despair, hopelessness, and slavery to the power of darkness. Without the knowledge of Christ’s true identity and the power of His resurrection, life becomes a cycle of defeat, regardless of outward appearances.

But Jesus had to rise again from the dead because He is the Christ. His resurrection was not optional or symbolic—it was an absolute necessity. It was the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan, the undeniable proof that He is the Savior of the world.

Paul understood this truth and made it the core of his message. When he went to Thessalonica, he had only one task. As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead. He declared, “This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ” (Acts 17:2-3). Paul demonstrated the absolute necessity of the resurrection of Jesus.

Why did Jesus have to rise from the dead? Because He is God. In John 14:7-9, Jesus said, “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” There is nothing God cannot do. Jesus rose again to make us come alive with Him, as Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:45-50. The resurrection was for our salvation and eternal life. Jesus has risen to become the firstfruits of the resurrection as written in 1 Corinthians 15:20-23:

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.”

His resurrection has given us eternal hope. When we are in Christ, we do not truly die; we simply change our address to our heavenly home when we leave this earth. Jesus said, “Whoever lives by believing in me will never die” (John 11:26).

At the news of Jesus’ resurrection, the Jewish leaders tried to cover up the event. They bribed the soldiers guarding the tomb and spread false stories, saying the disciples had stolen the body while the guards slept (Matthew 28:11-15). Ironically, by doing so, they confirmed the reality of the resurrection.

Likewise, when we do not personally experience the resurrected Christ, we become vulnerable to the lies of the world. We may even begin to tell lies about our own faith, going through the motions of religion, as the Scripture says, “having a form of godliness but denying its power” (2 Timothy 3:5).

Today, no matter what situations you are facing, the moment you realize and acknowledge Jesus as the resurrected Lord of your life, God will begin to work powerfully in you and through you. This happens not because of your ability or your current circumstances, but because of who Jesus is and the power of His resurrection.

You will witness incredible transformations taking place in your life. You will realize the authority and power in the name of Jesus when you pray. And God will use you as a living witness of the resurrection of Christ, right where you are and beyond.

Prayer. Father, I thank You for the power of resurrection working in me. Help me live as a witness of Christ and His resurrection for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Missions 24, 25, Eternal

2025.07.13 Sunday 2nd Service
Missions Dept. Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: Ro 16:25-27

237 Missions Devotion Service

Jesus promised missions and said it this way: He said, “Only.” It means do not worry. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” This means do not try to do anything else. Also, it means do not be discouraged even if the answer does not come quickly. He said to wait. “When the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will receive power.” “You will be my witnesses to the ends of the earth.”

「Missions 24, 25, Eternity」 (Romans 16:25–27)

Today is the missions devotion service, so it is 24, 25, and eternity. Because all people are within this time schedule. We need to find the blessing within this time schedule. Even if there is just one person who knows this, they can save one church. And they saved one region. And they saved one nation.

▣ Introduction_ The hidden things

Why is that? Because God gave the hidden things to that person. To whom? That is what’s important. God gave the hidden things to the person who knows this. You must receive this blessing. He gave it to Paul and his team.

1. The reason

It is the person who knows the reason. Since they know the reason God gave, God cannot help but give it to them.

1) The 17 disasters

Satan used 17 methods to bring disasters. It is the person who knows this.

2) The situation

Because they do not know this, people fall into it by themselves. And they hold onto it themselves. Because they do not know.

3) Spiritual problems

So now they are caught in spiritual problems that they cannot possibly let go of.

2. Changing the bartizan

Why does the person who knows this do missions and evangelism? It is to completely destroy Satan’s bartizan and raise God’s bartizan. Simply put, just change the bartizan. Then the answer is bound to come. If there is a bartizan of darkness, answers of darkness will inevitably come. So to the person who knows this, God gave the hidden things. You must remember this. Churches that do evangelism and missions worry about many things, but you don’t need to. Everyone here does not need to worry about your future. Satan aims for that. He aims for you to worry. Because the only way darkness can win over you is that one thing—it digs into your worry. He said, “Do not be anxious about anything.” Satan can only dig into the thing you are doubting, so he knows he cannot win over you. So for those people who are dying, trapped in this darkness, spiritual problems come, and they cannot solve them. So you must change the bartizan. That’s why we must do the three-day weekend age. It is not just about selling things.

3. Changing the imprint

It is about changing the imprint. Yesterday, on Friday night, we talked about “imprint healing.” You must change this.

4. Seeking recreation

Next is what? The DNA that can do world evangelization must change. It is to seek recreation. He clearly said, “You are a new creation.”

5. Changing the future

After that, you change the future.

So what did God do to the person who knows this secret? He gave what was hidden. Why does He hide it? So He does not give it to others. Because you cannot give something so precious to just anyone. That’s why our remnants must not worry. Other people will not understand. If you hold onto this covenant, God will go to wherever the remnant is. It’s absolutely true. Remnants must receive this level of blessing. Depending on where the remnant is, God moves everything. Some people might feel very offended hearing this, but it is true.

Look at Joseph—depending on where he was. Right? Look at the Bible. Depending on where Moses is. Absolutely. Depending on where David is. Depending on where Paul moves. God practically moved the world. Would you open your eyes once again? Depending on where the gospel goes. Right? Because the gospel had to go to Rome, God revived Rome. Because the gospel had to go to England, God revived England. Because the gospel had to go to Europe and Germany, God brought revival there. But one day, these nations did not evangelize anymore. The gospel had to go to America. So God blessed America. They do not realize this themselves. Americans think they are great. “Ah, our country is great.” They own more than 50 times the land of our nation. If Korean people had just 1/3 of that land, they probably would have turned the world upside down.

We have nothing, small land, no oil. There is a reason God is blessing Korea. Korea is even within the powerful nations. Last week, President Trump said, “Isn’t Korea a rich nation?” That’s right. Why? Because God is moving the gospel movement to Korea. Now it’s not just Korea—it’s going to the multiethnic people. You need to open your eyes to this. Others do not understand. “After the gospel is preached to all nations, then the end will come.” What did He say before that? All kinds of incidents happen? It’s okay. All kinds of events break out? It’s okay. It is Jesus’ word. “After the gospel is preached to all nations, then the end will come.”

▣ Main point_ [ Fundamental power, power to change imprint, power of recreation ]

So then what is the blessing you must receive? You must surely receive it. You must receive the hidden blessing. What is it? I spoke about this on Friday. You must gain the fundamental power. You must gain the power to change the imprint in others. You must change it. You must gain the power of recreation. Though I proclaimed this for the first time yesterday evening, this is a reason you must never lose hold of for your whole life. If you are physically sick, you must go see a doctor right away and get instructions. There is no other way. But what we are talking about is something different. What about the fundamental issues? That is not the doctor’s responsibility. You cannot blame the doctor if you don’t follow what the doctor says. The power to change the imprint—you must cultivate that. The power of recreation—you must cultivate that. For those with very high blood pressure, doctors will give them medicine and say, “Take this.” Then you must do what they say so you don’t have an accident. But more importantly, you must make it so your blood pressure doesn’t rise in the first place. Fundamental power. The spirit and the body are the same. How do you cure depression? You must make it so depression doesn’t occur. So this is very important. Why do we need world missions? Because of the issues mentioned in the introduction. Because these are not resolved, there are so many people with depression. People with depression underestimate themselves too much. “I am nothing. I can’t do anything. I’m anxious.” Some people overestimate themselves too much. That’s bipolar disorder. They overestimate themselves. “Do you know who I am?” The illness is like that. It all starts from oneself. Some people have grandiose delusions about themselves. That is schizophrenia. Some people have a deep sense of victimhood about themselves. Like this, people keep getting ill centered on themselves. Since they can’t overcome it, they commit suicide. It keeps happening. Frankly, medicine cannot solve this. That’s why the whole world keeps getting harder and harder. With the gospel you have, you must heal this—(fundamental power, power to change imprint, power of recreation).

1. Missions 24

So then, first—what is missions 24?

2. Missions 25

What is missions 25?

3. Missions Eternity

What is the eternity of missions?

1. Missions 24

What is missions 24?

[ Recovery of power ]

First, you recover the power that God gives.

2. Missions 25

What is missions 25? This is not our timetable. It is 25.

[ Recovery of the throne ]

You must recover the throne. Jesus Himself explained this.

3. Missions Eternity

What is the eternity of missions?

[ Recovery of eternity ]

Truly, though we cannot do it, we recover the eternal things that God has prepared. “I will give you what has been hidden since before the ages.” During the remaining time this week, I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ to gain this power (the main point). You are bound to receive it.

1. Missions 24 [ Recovery of power ]

How do you recover the power of missions? The early church had fixed-time prayer every day. Right? “At the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.” That was the time Peter raised the crippled man. It was the time of fixed prayer.

1) Daily

So I found the daily prayer by looking at this covenant. Gain strength. For me, setting an exact time for prayer is honestly difficult. Some people set an alarm. That’s difficult. What if the alarm goes off while eating? How do you pray? What if you are meeting someone and talking, and the alarm goes off for prayer? “Hold on a moment,” and pray? That’s hard. Honestly, if you really try to pray, the answer comes. Setting a place to pray? That’s possible once or twice. But for me, it’s hard to practice that. Going to a set place every day? I can’t do that. So how did I find the way? The 3 concentrations. The 3 settings. The 3 answers. Every day. What is the 3 settings? When you open your eyes in the morning, start prayer right away. Find everything. Especially when you wake up in the morning, while many people say their fatigue is recovered and they are revived during sleep, I don’t see it that way. You can lose a lot during sleep. More people die in their sleep than sitting up. Right? More people catch a cold while sleeping than while sitting. Personally, I think after sleeping you must recover greatly. So your brain, your lungs, everything, your spiritual things must recover. You can do all of this while moving. In the morning. Because you have to prepare. Today I woke up at 3:00 AM, departed at 7:20 AM. That’s 4 hours and 20 minutes. Continuously. During the day? You confirm this blessing. At night? You derive the answer. Then it becomes set. It becomes a platform, the watchman’s light shines, and the antenna of communication is made. Comfortably. Then when a problem comes, you already see the answer. Right? I’ve never worried over something for more than 5 minutes. The answer comes out. Not only the answer comes, but you also see renewal and opportunity. Then what? Joy comes. Do you understand? Daniel was about to die, but he prayed with thanksgiving. Right? What is that? He saw something. This must happen to you every day. You must remember this. Don’t make it hard. Our remnants, when you go somewhere? To another region or overseas? Alone—it’s hard. Just start. The moment you open your eyes, you must start gaining strength. Never be deceived. There is no need to designate a place. And when do you pray? Setting a place? Right? Of course, it’s good to have a quiet place to pray. But you must be able to pray anywhere.

2) Hourly

I have something I do hourly—there is something I enjoy for 5 minutes every hour. Hourly. During this prayer.

Last week, I read a book about people with depression and panic disorder—about what state they are in. I mostly read books written by doctors. Why? Personally, I trust them the most. Others, I trust a bit less, so I don’t read those much. Last time, too, I read a book written by a doctor. This person had dealt with mental illness patients for decades. And how did he conclude? He said, “Anyway, those people need comfort.” That’s right. But if I could meet that person, I would want to give them the answer. Whether it’s a husband, wife, or child—if there is someone nearby who comforts them, that helps. But it doesn’t heal them. Because it’s a spiritual disease, they need God’s comfort. That’s why this power (fundamental power, power to change imprint, power of recreation) is necessary. I wanted to tell him about this. Why? Because the issues in the introduction need to be resolved. Without the work of the Holy Spirit, it is impossible, but they don’t have the gospel. That’s right. So these days I’ve been thinking, “Should I send my opinion to such great people?” But the last doctor I read was Japanese. I don’t know Japanese, so what should I do? Well, I guess I could use a translator. But the book I read this week (Breathing Reset) was written by a Korean doctor. He’s a pain specialist. What did he write? Even the title is from a medical perspective: “Even just correcting broken breathing will eliminate chronic pain.” I believe this 100%. Why? Because I understand about breathing. These days, doctors have started to rise up. It’s trustworthy. The content is good. Why do I say this? Because I focus for 5 minutes every hour on this. Exercise, breathing, finding the answer. I do it without fail. Every hour. Before coming here today, I did about 300 squats and push-ups over there. And I kept taking notes about what to deliver during this important message time. You must always exercise in sync with breathing. They happen simultaneously. For those of you who are doctors, listen carefully, professionally. A journalist investigated athletes’ lungs. 90% had lung problems. Why? Because they run without breathing properly. That’s not exercise—that’s labor. It becomes something very painful. But if you match your exercise with breathing, it becomes incredible power. I combine those three things and do them for more than 5 minutes every hour. Try it. It doesn’t take any special time. While washing dishes, do squats. While brushing your teeth, do it. Who’s going to stop you? I do it in the elevator. If someone opens the door, I pretend like I wasn’t doing anything. You can do it as much as you want. It’s fun. You’re busy.

3) Every matter

In every matter, you must gain the answer. This is 24. I believe this is the 24 that Christ taught. Daily—you must gain the strength God gives. Hourly—you must gain strength. Do not be deceived. In every incident—you must get the answer. We keep believing lies, so spiritual problems come. We must believe God’s word. This is my 24. This is the beginning of missions. Recover the power. Our remnants don’t need to go anywhere. Do what you can wherever you are. “I went somewhere but there’s no church. What should I do?” Do this (daily, hourly, every matter). This is church. “But at work, it’s so hard.” What should you do? Daily, hourly, every matter.

Let me give the example of the remnant Joseph, who faced the hardest difficulties. Joseph became a slave. He had no power. No time. No freedom. He went to prison. It became even harder. These three things (daily, hourly, every matter). He enjoyed them before God—morning, noon, and night—things no one could take away from him. No one could steal that time. And in those events, God’s work arose. That’s 24. Just recover this without fail. With this, gain fundamental power, change the imprint, and recreate. Without this, you keep trying to do things with just surface-level methods—that’s why it’s hard.

2. Missions 25 [ Recovery of the throne ]

So what is missions 25?

1) The throne

It’s the throne. That power.

2) The kingdom

The kingdom of God.

3) The work

The work of the kingdom of God. That’s what happens.

What is the throne? In Genesis chapter 1 verses 1 to 13, it says God created the heavens and the earth with His word. That power. When raising remnants, Isaiah chapter 6 verses 1 to 13—it was the Lord seated on the throne who gave the promise. He appeared to Isaiah. The resurrected Christ kept speaking about this (the throne). Right? “I will be with you until the very end of the age.” “The Lord seated on the throne worked.” That Christ promised the kingdom of God. How should we pray? Pray for the kingdom to come. “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”—pray that way. “For 40 days He explained the kingdom of God and its work.” What is the work? The answers the seven remnants received. That work. The answers the people of Hebrews chapter 11 received. That work. This is 25.

3. Missions Eternity [ Recovery of eternity ]

What is eternity?

1) 300%

Finally, God will lead you, remnants and all of you, 100%. And He has prepared everything 100% where you are going. Do not worry. Your future is prepared 100%. What do we call this? 300%. This is eternity. You must never lose hold of this.

2) Masterpiece

The second is what? With eternity, you create your masterpiece. What is the content of the masterpiece? The 7 bartizans, the 7 journeys, and the 7 guideposts—that’s the masterpiece.

3) Monument

This becomes the monument you leave for the posterity. Because it must remain forever.

Just hold onto the covenant. As you confirm God’s word now, what must come to you? Peace must come to you. Are you impatient? Are you getting lazy? Or are you busy? What do you feel while listening to God’s word? You must feel peace. And you must gain strength. Right? Are you feeling stifled? No, right? To this extent, God has prepared everything for you. This is true healing ministry, and it is also the summit movement.

▣ Conclusion

1. One person

One person who does missions is enough. God’s power is not lacking because it’s just one person. Right? David alone did everything.

2. One team

One team is enough.

3. One church

If even one church realizes this, that’s enough.

1. One person ( Where )

What is that one person? Who does God want? Where are they? You must be within this (main point). Right? If you are outside the covenant and say, “Give me answers,” that’s problematic. Where are you? You must be inside this. Within the 24 of God’s power. Within the 25 that is the background of the throne. Within the background of eternity.

2. One team ( Who )

One team is enough. Who are you meeting? If you have meetings with those who evangelize, you can recover everything. There will surely be such people. If an elite who evangelizes meets another elite who evangelizes—a man and a woman—what happens? There’s no need to ask. Just get married right away. All of our remnants are precious one by one, but last week I told Chanmi too, “All you need to do now is marry well.” This meeting is all important. It’s really hard. Some kids who understand the gospel can’t study well, and some who study well don’t understand the gospel. They give us trouble that way. But now there are elites who understand the gospel. Our remnants need to meet those people. This too is God’s blessing. Look at this (one team—who). Who you meet is important. And when you meet people like Priscilla and Aquila, the meeting is complete.

3. One church ( Only )

One church is enough. It’s not just the gospel. It’s only the gospel. Right? It’s not just prayer. It’s only prayer. You have to do evangelism? No—that’s not it. It’s only evangelism. Only being a witness. That’s it. Even if there’s just one believer like that. If there’s just one church that enjoys “only,” world evangelization will happen.

Today, during the six days of prayer, you must make a resolution. What are the diseases rising all over the world? Powerlessness is more frightening than spiritual sickness. Pray for it to be bound. What is the disease shaking the world’s people? Poverty. Pray for it to be bound. Physical illness is not the main issue. It is spiritual disease. Pray for it to be bound. May this week be a week of gaining great strength. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.

Prayer

We thank You, God. May the greatest glory of God appear this week. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Disasters of the Early Church and World Evangelization

2025.07.13 District Message 28th Week
Scripture Reading: Ac 11:1-8, Ga 2:20, 2 Co 10:4-5

There is a way to win even when you have nothing.
Why? Because the early church did it. Even if you have failed, there is still a way to win. There are many pieces of evidence for this throughout church history. So what should we do?

I often meet with many businesspeople. I don’t know much about business, but I can at least listen to them and pray for them. But from what I see, most are not even 30% prepared. Of course, they say, “I’m doing this by faith,” but in reality, they’re not even 30% ready. They just try it by chance, thinking, “Maybe it’ll work if I try.” But I’ve seen many face hardships and fail.

We must prepare 300%. If we do, we will surely win. We need to talk today about how to prepare. This applies to evangelism, your work, and remnant studies—it’s all the same.

Disaster

There’s something we must understand first. Why does disaster keep coming upon this land? If there is no religion, what will happen? The world will fall into chaos. That’s why kings throughout history used religion. They also used ideologies. When there is no religion, they must create a substitute ideology, like communism.

But why does disaster come upon the church? Very few people know this. Isn’t it strange? Why did the once-powerful medieval church fall into such problems?

The Jewish people had an incredible church spirit. No one could compare to them. But the Jewish people were destroyed. How hard must it be if even one generation is destroyed? Yet for 2,000 years, they were destroyed. And even now, they do not know the reason. They still hold onto resentment. I understand that. If you go to Washington D.C., you’ll find a Holocaust Memorial. All the Jewish people go there. When students see it, they come out with a resolution: “I will stake my life for our nation. I will succeed no matter what.” Even for us, when we see it, we are struck with how severe it was. At the end, you see the shoes of the victims, almost all rubber shoes, collected after they were killed. It makes you think, “Wow, to this extent…” But still, the Jewish people do not realize the reason.

You know the answer, don’t you? If the church loses the gospel, disaster comes. It’s such a simple truth that people don’t understand it. They take the gospel too lightly. But the gospel was produced by tremendous sacrifice. Because it is given freely, we might think it is cheap, but the real thing must be given freely. That’s why, throughout history, the church has faced disaster when it lost hold of the gospel.

▣ Introduction_ The Early Church

Even in the early church, it was Paul’s team that was used, not Peter’s team. You must quickly realize this.

1. Acts 11:1-18
This is a well-known passage. Trouble arose in the early church because Peter ate at Cornelius’s house. This shows that they were still filled with old thoughts. Older people need to be especially careful about this. They tend to be filled with old ideas and their own thoughts. That’s what it means to become old. Children may not say it, but they think, “My father has gotten old.” Grandchildren may not notice, but the children do. People nearby know too. “He’s gotten old.” But if not, you stay young. Look at Professor Kim Hyung-seok. He’s 108 years old, but he still speaks, jokes, and thinks like a young person. He stammers a bit due to age, but his thoughts are young. If you’re trapped in the past, you become old.

It wasn’t that the early church people were bad; they were just stuck in old ways. “Didn’t we always do it this way?” But that has nothing to do with the gospel. That’s dangerous. Even though Jesus taught them for 3 years, took them to the Mount of Olives, and gave them the experience of the Mark’s Upper Room, they still did this. Even pastors can easily fall into this trap—seeking something other than the gospel. This is a terrifying timetable. In fact, the lampstand was moved to Antioch because of this. Peter began to be unused, and Paul was used instead. This is a serious result. You must remember this.

2. Circumcision
Even when Paul went to the evangelism field, they said, “Don’t you still need to be circumcised to be saved?” That’s how scary old traditions are. Paul was appalled. “Why are you like this?”

3. Galatians 2:10-20
Wherever Paul went, there were Jews who said, “You must keep the Jewish law.” Even Peter, Simon, and even Barnabas—who led Paul—fell into this. Paul, being an expert in Jewish law, asked, “Do you keep the Jewish law perfectly? If you can’t do it, why force it on the Gentiles?” People can become that blind. I see this as disaster. Treating the gospel God gave us as if it has no value—that is disaster.

▣ Main Point_ The complete throne movement

So what did God do with those who truly realized the gospel? He had them begin the complete throne movement. This is the blessing you will receive. No matter the situation, you just need to do three things.

1. 100% guidance of the Holy Spirit
First, God will guide you 100% by the Holy Spirit. It’s not 99%—it’s 100%.

2. 100% field healing by the Holy Spirit
Second, in the field, God will heal 100% through the work of the Holy Spirit.

3. 100% fruits of the Holy Spirit (the future)
God will bear 100% fruit in your future through the Holy Spirit. This is certain. You just need to enjoy this blessing.

So remnants must have 100% specialization, 100% field engagement, and 100% future preparation. Is this possible? Yes. When you find it, you’ll be joyful, and you can win.

Many people ask, “What do I need to do for 300%? What should I find?” This is today’s first service message. Just make what you’re doing now into 300%. “But that’s not my talent.” It doesn’t matter. Joseph was a slave—that wasn’t his talent or occupation. It had nothing to do with his background. But he gave 300% there. First, he cleaned better than anyone. Second, he worked so that blessings came to every corner of the house. Potiphar was moved by this. That’s what 300% means. It’s actually easier than trying to manipulate things. When you do that, you don’t have to worry about what’s next.

Today is the first service message for the Remnant Conference. The sermon title is “David Defeated Goliath Easily.” He won easily. You must remember this.

Let’s look at some of the content.

1. 100% guidance of the Holy Spirit
How did they receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit? The Bible tells us.

Acts 13:1-4, Acts 16:6-10, Acts 19:1-8.
In Acts 13, they prayed until they received complete guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because the situation was urgent, they fasted and prayed. In Acts 16:6-10, since the situation was difficult, they prayed through the night. They saw a vision at night, meaning they prayed in a night vigil. It’s not that you must always do this, but God has called you to receive 100% guidance of the Holy Spirit. Don’t be deceived by other words. God guides you 100%. Not believing this is called unbelief.

Ephesians 4:30 says, “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit.” What does that mean? 1 Thessalonians 5:19 says, “Do not quench the Spirit.” What do these two phrases mean? Quenching the Spirit means you have no interest in the guidance God is clearly giving you. Grieving the Spirit means you keep overstepping and trying to do things your own way when God is guiding you invisibly.

He is guiding you 100%. In Acts 19, from the Mark’s Upper Room to the kingdom of God, they received 100% guidance. You cannot help but win.

2. 100% field healing by the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit worked powerfully.

Acts 13:5-12, Acts 16:16-18, Acts 19:8-20
Darkness was broken. The demon-possessed were healed. All kinds of incurable diseases were healed. This is 100% in the field. You must believe this. There’s no need to be dismayed, discouraged, or rushed. The Holy Spirit is working in the field, so just follow that.

3. 100% fruits of the Holy Spirit (the future)

That’s not all.

Acts 13:12, Acts 16:15, Acts 17:6, Acts 19:21, Acts 23:11, Acts 27:24
In Acts 13:12, the governor received grace. In Acts 16:15, Lydia remained as a disciple. In Acts 17:6, Jason remained as a disciple. In Acts 19:21, Paul said, “I must see Rome.” In Acts 23:11, “You must testify in Rome.” In Acts 27:24, “You must stand before Caesar.” This is the future. It is 100% prepared by God.

So what should happen? Peace must come to you. Not anxiety, but peace. Jesus said, “I will send the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, to be with you.” Then He said, “I give you peace. My peace is not like the world gives.” Even though great difficulties seem to come, God gives peace. Some people are lying on a sickbed, yet peace comes. Even in hardship, when you pray, peace comes. Why? Because God has surely prepared your future. You must remember this. This 300% is an important answer for you.

▣ Conclusion

1. Acceptance
This is what I told the church leaders today. Accept everything on your path. Why? Because God has a plan. Even people who speak wrongly have their own circumstances. Accept it. But don’t become like them.

2. Transcendence
You must transcend. Joseph went as a slave, but he was not a slave. He transcended. He went to prison but was not a prisoner. He became a governor, but he was not just a governor—he did world evangelization. That’s transcendence.

3. The answer
What’s next? Give the answer. And find the answer yourself. When problems come, pray until you find the answer of God’s blessing. Then you will find great joy.

John Bunyan did nothing wrong but was imprisoned for the gospel. He was in prison for 16 years—not 16 months, but 16 years. But he found the answer. It gave him joy. He began writing the greatest work of his life—the Pilgrim’s Progress. It overturned the world. It is the most widely sold book after the Bible. It became stories, movies, and dramas, spreading throughout the world.

So today, I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that this will be a day when you receive the strength to find the true answer.

Prayer

We thank You, God. Grant Your power to these precious people. Grant Your power to the church leaders. Grant the power of re-creation to the sick. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
