Title / Scripture: The Foot-Washing Servant (John 13:1-11)

Summary

Jesus showed the form of a servant, the form of a slave, but He is King. It means that while you can go into the world and act as a servant, you have the blessing like a king. Remnant must remember this. You do not have to fight. You must know that the power is different. Because you already have it, how you enjoy it is what matters.

▣ Introduction

1. True Gospel (king, prophet, priest) – Jesus came as the true King, Prophet, and Priest. These three combined is the Christ. Who is the Christ? Jesus is the Christ. Only these three are anointed. Christ came to give us the blessing of king, prophet, and priest (1 Peter 2:9). Those who truly know the gospel have the kingship, prophethood, and priesthood of the throne, so they go into the lowest place and save the highest.

2. Focus (Mt Olive) – Experiencing this power is focus. This is the reason He called the disciples to Mt Olive.

3. Ordinary times (foot-washing servant) – The ordinary things, the way and the posture of going out into the world and living is the foot-washing servant.

「Wait」 – Experience it for just one week. Worldly worries and hard things are “not for you to know. But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father.”

▷ Focus so that you are filled with the Spirit of God. If you keep thinking about problems, you fall into a great labyrinth. Focus with prayer. Shouldn’t you experience it once in your life? There must be the experience of discovering that this power of God comes upon me and I have no need to worry at all. It must come out every week.

▷ Why do we act as the foot-washing servant? It is to do three things.

▣ Main_ Genesis 3, 6, 11 ← Satan

It is a slave who runs the errand of undoing the curses of Genesis 3, 6, 11. Satan is doing the work of Genesis 3, 6, 11.

▷ At the supper on the day before Passover, Jesus knew that He would eat for the last time, be executed on the cross, and be resurrected. Washing the disciples’ feet, He said, “You also do likewise.”

1. Passover supper – the timetable that settles all the past of me, Israel, and the world
1) Disaster – In Israel, because the elders, priests, and prophets did not realize, the descendants became slaves, captives, and a vassal state.
2) Liberation – Each time, He liberated them through those who knew king, prophet, priest, Genesis 3, 6, 11. If you just hold the covenant, the past truly begins to disappear.
3) Servant – king – The Remnant went in the form of servants and changed the king.

▷ It is going most truthfully and going to the highest. It is going in the lowest posture and saving the highest. Because you already have the authority of king, prophet, and priest, it is easy. Whatever problem comes, you must be confident. Rather, you must make your foundation firm.

2. Today’s age, the present that the disciples save
1) Devil – heart – The devil had already entered Judas’ heart (verse 2).
2) Luke 22:24 When the disciples were fighting over who was the greatest, Jesus showed them the form of the foot-washing servant.
3) Place of attack – church – Satan’s place of attack is the church.

3. Foot-washing servant who will save the future
1) Future (verse 1) – Already knowing the future, He did the last event of washing feet.
2) Glory – He knew that after the great suffering of the cross, He would be resurrected and the great glory of God would appear on all the earth. With conviction, “You become foot-washing servants.” Then you will win. It is okay to play the role of a slave. You are already king, prophet, and priest.
3) Throne – He already knows the glory of the throne.

▣ Conclusion_ When you come to our church

1. Gospel – We must make it so people see ‘This is what the gospel is.’

2. 237, healing, summit – We must make it so that everything is there for the 237 nations to be healed and the Remnant to become summits.

3. Evangelism (missions) – Only when you realize this will you realize evangelism (missions).

▷ This is the laymen missions that does this, and you are lay missionaries. It is okay to act as a servant wherever you go. You change the world. Because the whole world is serving as a slave to Genesis 3, 6, 11, you go in with a low posture and heal it. Because you have it, there is no need to be shaken. It’s just that the answer has not come yet, but God has promised. Hold the covenant confidently. The answer will come.

The Gospel of John is a very important gospel. It explains who on earth Jesus Christ is. So it is an explanation that there is no need to worship idols, ‘Jesus Christ is the same as God.’ Try praying in that name. So it explained many important events. So today is our laymen missions dedication service, and right at this time Jesus is now giving almost His last lesson. The rest is the method for that. Chapters 14, 16, 17, 18 all talk about the Holy Spirit. The rest shows the events of the last week. Today Jesus is now giving the last tremendous lesson. The question is what that is. He said something beyond imagination.

「 The Foot-Washing Servant 」

The character ‘세(洗)’ means to wash. A servant who washes feet. He did this Himself and told them to do it like this. How is it? The Remnant must remember. I will give the conclusion first. Jesus showed the form of a servant, the form of a slave, but He is King. This is a tremendous word. Jesus showed it like this and said, “You also do it like this.” It means that while you can go into the world and act as a servant, you have the blessing like a king. You understand what I mean, right? It is what you already have. Remnant must remember this.

You do not have to fight. Why? Because you already have it. “Why on earth do pastors fight and file accusations?” In my view, they are unbelievers. Right? Why? Because they don’t have it. Because they don’t have it, they try to get it. Look at beggars. They try to beg for food. Would a perfectly fine elder go somewhere to beg for food? Isn’t that so? But a beggar has to beg for food. He has no choice but to fight. Doesn’t the news keep coming out these days? Politicians who stole. They have no choice. When poor people rise in the world and see money, they lose their minds. Naturally it turns out that way. You must remember this. You must know that the power is different. Because you already have it, how you enjoy it is what matters.

▣ Introduction

1. True Gospel (king, prophet, priest)

So the dedication service is important for you, and because there are Remnant, what does it mean that you already have the true gospel? You must know that. Of course you are saved. Of course you know Christ. But when you say you know Christ, then what do you have? What did Jesus come to do? You must know this. What did Jesus come to do? He came to bear the cross, be resurrected, and prove the Christ, didn’t He?

King, prophet, priest

In reality, the content is elsewhere. Jesus came as this, right? True King, Prophet, Priest. These words combined are called ‘Christ.’ When asked who is the Christ, it means Jesus is the Christ.

Only these three are anointed. What this means is, one day our Elder Kim Chu-ri doesn’t come down from the mountain and say, “I will be king,” and become king. Right? All the people gather together and say, “No matter how you think about it, this person is king.” That’s how, before putting the crown on, they pour oil. And then he puts on the crown before the people. From that day on he is king. The priest is the same. Do you wake up from sleep and just become a priest? I’m telling you no. The word combining these three is the anointed one, and the answer is the Christ.

Then why did He do this? I explained it. To give us this (the true gospel (king, prophet, priest)). So in the end, “You are a royal priesthood.” So those who truly know the gospel have this. Right? I’m telling you they have the kingship, prophethood, and priesthood of the throne. Then, those who know this, the Remnant must remember. I’m telling you they go into the lowest place and save the highest. Why? Because they have it. You must keep this in mind. But I have no strength right now? That’s just the current situation; it will come.

2. Focus (Mt Olive)

So isn’t focus about you taking this part (the true gospel (king, prophet, priest)) and experiencing this power a little? Right? So the reason Jesus later called the disciples to Mt Olive and gathered them now and then was to have them focus and experience it.

3. Ordinary times (foot-washing servant)

So I’m telling you He explained the way you will go out into the world and live from now on, the ordinary things. Today. Focus is what we do among ourselves, and when we go outside, we work; do we focus there? When asked what posture we have outside, I’m saying it is the ‘foot-washing servant.’ You must remember this.

We don’t really know the foot-washing servant now, but in the country of Israel there is a lot of dirt and a lot of sand, and their footwear is not shoes like ours but something like slippers with straps. Wouldn’t that be so? Then in any house, when the master comes or a guest comes, their feet must be washed, so there is a separate servant who washes them. He waits right there, and at the door, before going in, he would surely have them sit somewhere and wash their feet. Jesus did that Himself. The disciples were so startled. Why? Because they knew. They said, “Why are You doing this?” To show how important it was, Peter was a person with a somewhat quick temper, right? He came out saying, “I, my feet, cannot be washed.” It’s understandable. He came out saying, “How dare the Lord wash my feet. That’s not right.” So when Jesus said, “Then you and I have nothing to do with each other,” he was startled and came out saying, “Then wash even my whole body.” Jesus said, “A person who bathed once and came out of the house has no need to bathe again; only the feet need to be washed.” Spiritually, as a metaphor, that word includes the meaning that a saved person has already been washed, so he only needs to wash off the dirt each time.

▣ Main_ Genesis 3, 6, 11

But this servant, when asked why we do this role though we already have kingship, prophethood, and priesthood, it is to do three things. It is undoing the curse of Genesis chapter 3, and the curses of chapters 6 and 11. It’s not just ‘tremendous.’ Aren’t chapters 3, 6, and 11 tremendous curses? It is undoing these. It is a slave who runs this errand. So the Remnant must remember. Wherever you go, there is no need to deliberately go down to the bottom. It is going most truthfully and going to the highest. If necessary, you must go in the lowest posture and save the highest. The easy thing is that you already have this. The reason it is hard for you is that you don’t go to the low place but try to go straight in, so it doesn’t work. Today, just remember three things.

1. Passover supper

This day is exactly the day before Passover. The day before Passover, in verse 4 it says “the day He was eating supper.” That means tomorrow is the Passover supper. Jesus knew, ‘This is the last.’ It is recorded, today. He knew that soon, ‘I will eat this as the last meal, and I will be executed on the cross and resurrected.’ And He washed their feet. And after washing all of them at the end, He said, “You also do likewise.”

[ Past ]

But why the Passover supper of all things? This means it is the timetable that settles all the past of me, Israel, and the world.

1) Disaster

Israel also received many disasters before because the elders did not realize. Right? Because the priests and prophets did not realize, the descendants became slaves, captives, and a vassal state.

2) Liberation

Each time, He liberated them through people who knew this (king, prophet, priest. Genesis chapters 3, 6, 11). Right? It becomes a very important message. If you just hold this covenant, the past truly begins to disappear. Otherwise, your past keeps following you. I’m sorry, but it follows you. One theologian publicly said, “No, a person should receive the sin he committed himself, so why do children do the sins the parents committed? Does it pass down?” That’s what he asked. That’s ignorant talk. It said “to the third and fourth generation.” Then what is it? The sin of idol worship committed by the first generation goes to the third and fourth generation, and the second generation commits it again. When that goes to the third and fourth generation, what happens? It means it continues. Who are mainly these people? Aren’t they the Remnant?

3) Servant – king

I’m telling you these people always went in the form of servants. Right? They went in the form of servants and changed the king. They went in the form of servants and gave the answer to the king. You must not miss this. You must remember it. So our Remnant must be confident. You know everything wherever you go. You must be confident; holding that, there’s no need to be shaken. You must remember. You must be confident with any problem. There’s no need to be shaken. Rather, you must make your foundation firm. So I’m telling you there’s something we missed. This (king, prophet, priest. Genesis chapters 3, 6, 11) is the answer. It means Jesus came as the true King, Prophet, and Priest to give us the blessing of king, prophet, and priest. So why is that? To remove this. To remove this, He chose the best form, and that is this form. It is the simplest method. Joseph went as a slave, didn’t he? For this, you don’t need a résumé or a job interview. You go straight in. And later he immediately enlightened the king. I’m telling you it’s not that it’s great; it’s that this has come.

You must believe. So there are many people who, after unbelief, use humanism. They fight…. There are many such people among believers too. In my view, they are not saved. Saying it like this is too much of a curse, so I’ll adjust it a bit and think they don’t know this (Introduction 1). It’s certain.

So then, the only thing they bring out is just mine. They fight every day over what that person did well and what he did wrong. That’s the only thing they can do. Saying “no” and “yes,” that’s the same as unbelievers. Isn’t it still going on now? Adults are doing it too, politicians. You did wrong, right? No. They could just say yes. They say no, and it gets found out again. Every day they’re doing that kind of thing now. What is wrong is not pitiful; it’s natural. It’s natural for people in this darkness. They know only themselves, only their own things, only money, only success, so naturally it would turn out that way, wouldn’t it? I’m telling you, as for who did this (Genesis 3, 6, 11) work, Satan is doing it. So you are important.

2. Today’s age [ Present ]

Now then, what is the second? It also solves this past, but the reason Jesus has the supper today is that the disciples now save today’s age. What is the reason?

1) Devil – heart

It appeared in verse 2. It says, “The devil had already entered Judas’ heart.” He prophesies that now a big event will happen.

2) Luke 22:24

This event also appeared in Luke chapter 22 verse 24. What were the disciples doing then? They were fighting, “Who among us is the greatest?” So Jesus showed them this (foot-washing servant) on this day. “You are already saved children of God, this (Genesis 3, 6, 11) is all finished, and you have (the true gospel), so be servants to one another.” Of course.

3) Place of attack – church

Satan’s place of attack, Satan’s place of attack is not the temple. Why would he attack the temple, when it’s on his side? Right? I’m sorry, but when people worship idols, Satan likes it; it’s his side. There’s no need to attack the three groups. Why? Because they’re his side, and they’re bound to perish anytime. Where is Satan’s target of attack? It is the church. So when he captures the church, everything is done. So I’m telling you, the church nailed Jesus to the cross. So the descendants were ruined for 2,000 years, weren’t they? It means that among them, the foot-washing servants who had this gospel, the people who served as servants, changed it. You must remember this.

3. Foot-washing servant who will save the future

He speaks of the foot-washing servant who will save the future.

1) Future (1)

There is such a word in verse 1 today too. It said, “Already knowing.” Right? It means He knew the future. “Already knowing,” and He did this last event of washing feet. But knowing in advance is not knowing only that He will suffer.

2) Glory

What is truly inside Jesus? He now knew in advance that great glory, the glory of God, would appear. He must bear the cross in very severe pain, but He knows that He will be resurrected and great glory will appear on all the earth. With conviction, “You play the role of the foot-washing servant. Then you will win.” A servant has no opinion. You will win. You already have it. Christians around the world must keep this in mind. It is okay for you to play the role of a slave. Why? I’m telling you you’re already king, priest, prophet.

3) Throne

He already knows not just glory, but the glory of the throne. He gave this answer. It’s very important.

On Sundays, except for special things like Christmas, I deliberately read through the Bible as it is. The reason is that we want to receive the guidance of the Word as it is. Rather than me daring to bring the Word and do it, it’s that we follow the Word. So it’s almost precise. With this, experience it for just this one week (Introduction). Especially those who are sick, don’t worry, and don’t worry about living or dying. Focus (Introduction). Focus so that you are filled with the Spirit of God. Focusing won’t go well. Even so, focus a little. Those of you who have problems, if you keep thinking about the problem, you fall into some great labyrinth. Truly focus with prayer.

「Wait」

Experience this (Introduction) for just one week. Jesus said to wait, didn’t He? Waiting while worrying is not waiting. He said not to worry about anything, that it’s not yours, and to wait. Because they worried about the world, “It is not for you to know.” Looking at various things, how many hard things are there? Because they talked about that, “It is not for you to know.” “But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, wait in Jerusalem for what the Father promised. Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait.” How good would it be to experience this precious Word every week, but shouldn’t you experience it once in your life? Right. It means, ‘Wow, there must be this, discovering that this (Introduction) power of God comes upon me and truly I have no need to worry at all, and problems truly.’ It must come out every week.

▣ Conclusion

1. Gospel

So as I told you last week, if you go to Washington in the U.S., they made something called the Holocaust museum that all Jews can see. The lesson it gives us is great. When people come to our church, we must make it so they see everything about what the gospel is. Right? Ah, this is the gospel.

2. 237 healing summit

Next, we must make it so that everything is there for the 237 nations to be healed and the Remnant to become summits.

3. Evangelism (missions)

Only when you realize this (237 healing summit) will evangelism and missions be realized, and people must see all of this and go.

This is the laymen missions that does this (Conclusion), and you are lay missionaries. It is okay to act as a servant wherever you go. Even if you act as a servant, you are not a servant. Even while playing the role of a foot-washing servant, you change the world. You must keep this in mind. Because you have it. And the whole world, rather, is serving as a slave to this (Genesis 3, 6, 11). Then we go in with a low posture and heal them. Because you already have it, there’s no need to be shaken. The Remnant must definitely keep this in mind.

It’s just that the answer has not come yet, but God made a promise, didn’t He? I’m telling you, rather, it’s embarrassing. When I look back, ‘Ah, why did I think there was no answer in the old days.’ It’s foolish. I feel embarrassed. Up to now we have been thankful, but I think, ‘Why did our church not have a church building until now?’ but after knowing later, honestly speaking, before I prayed over the temple construction of our church, I’m telling you I did not realize this word (237 healing summit). It would have been a big problem. I’m telling you I did not realize the three courtyards. I held this covenant, kept praying, and got the answer.

So it’s not that the answer doesn’t come. There is no such thing as no answer. Especially if there are any of our saints going through hardships, you must confidently hold the covenant and win. Do it confidently. Don’t be shaken. The answer will come. Our Remnant scattered around the world must hold the covenant even more confidently and firmly have, ‘I am the Remnant who has the covenant.’ Let us pray.

God, thank You for giving us the covenant to enjoy this week. Let it be a week of fully experiencing the covenant. Let it be a week of receiving by faith. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Summary

▣ Introduction

1. Background of the Text
1) Lazarus’ house in Bethany – It was a house where Jesus, who had no place to lay His head and no place to rest, could comfortably rest, pray, and meditate.
2) Israel at that time – In a state of having become a vassal state, it was right before disaster was about to strike.
3) Lazarus, who had a fatal illness – Jesus, who had raised Jairus’ daughter, the son of the widow of Nain, and the centurion’s servant, delayed for two whole days even though He knew that Lazarus, an exemplary disciple, was sick. Meanwhile, Lazarus died, and it is a situation where four whole days have passed since he died.

2. We do not think of no answer as an answer.
1) Abraham – He received the promise at age 75, but for 25 years until age 100 he did not receive the answer.
2) Joseph – For 17 years he held onto God’s covenant and prayed, but instead he went into slavery and prison. At age 30 he stood before the king. Was there really no answer for Joseph during that time?
▷ The fact that you are sitting here now must be seen as an answer. When a problem has come to me, I must be a person who can see that an answer has come. This is how the 7 Remnants, the people of Hebrews 11, and the people of the early church discovered something tremendous regardless of whether the problem was small or big.
3) Hannah – With a vain prayer she had no answer at all, but after she realized the Nazirite, God answered immediately.
4) David – He faced crises of death for more than 20 years.
5) Elisha – Other friends all took Bethel, Gilgal, and Jericho, but he prayed to be given a double portion of the spirit. He raised up the Dothan movement.
▷ When you hear God’s Word, do not hear it as a sermon, but you must hold onto the covenant God gives me.
6) Daniel who resolved

3. Before knowing the reason why Jesus went late to Lazarus, you must first know who this One is.
1) The One who existed before creation – If you know this fact, all past destiny and disaster become unrelated to me.
▷ Why? Because He is the One who ended our past. In the end, people drown in the past and die, but it must be ended. When you see someone who was doing well in the life of faith collapse one day, they definitely fall into their own past and collapse. It comes out at decisive moments. Jesus Christ, who existed from before eternal ages, changed all our past into blessing. You must believe. Past wounds are cancer.
2) The One who incarnated and came to be seen – Seeing and holding onto this covenant is called faith, receiving, and salvation. At this time, the Holy Spirit is bound to work within me.
3) The One who overcame death and resurrected – Even now He is with us invisibly. And He gave evidence: pray to God in My name. Command and use authority in My name. We think of this blessing as ordinary, but the forces of darkness tremble. Satan knows that we do not believe and follows us around. He resurrected and even now has called us to break down darkness in that name. This is the main point of the Bible. If you do not know this, there is no need to go to church. Because the church misses this, all the churches in America are closing their doors.
4) Christ who will stand as the Lord of the Second Coming when the end comes

▣ Main_ The reason Jesus appeared late even though Lazarus had already died

1. He is not dead but asleep (John 11:11, 13).
1) Our soul is for eternity. – People who have not received salvation say that when you die it is the end, but our soul has only been called to heaven; it is sleeping.
2) The gospel and our prayer and evangelism ministry are for eternity. They do not disappear. That is why we dedicate ourselves.
(1) The prayer of Moses, who knew this (Psalm 90:16) – Prayed to the Lord’s servants, for the descendants
(2) Paul, who knew this – He said going to heaven is better. After such a Paul died, there was a greater work in Rome.
3) Your prayers are recorded in the kingdom of heaven (Revelation 8:3-5), and living the life of faith and moving to evangelize are all captured on heaven’s CCTV, and it says not one will be in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

2. Because Christ became the firstfruits of our resurrection on the last day, He said he is not dead but asleep.
1) Jesus, who said “Your brother will rise again” in response to Martha’s words that if Jesus had been there her brother would not have died (John 11:22-23)
2) I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live even though he dies, and whoever now lives and believes will never die for eternity (John 11:25-26)
3) This is related to future generations and eternity, and it is saying that my life, the souls I have saved, and the Lord’s work do not die for eternity.

3. Actual saving took place.
1) Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God (John 11:40) – Jesus’ answer to Martha’s words that it has been four days since he died and there is already a smell
2) For the benefit of the people standing around (John 11:42) – Many relatives and people, the whole world, are watching. And we, 2,000 years later, are also watching.
3) Lazarus, come out (John 11:43) – It means that Jesus Christ is the Triune God and the Creator. Pray this. In the name of Jesus Christ, the work of re-creation can take place in my work and field. The work of re-creation can take place in one who is dying.
▷ The lies of the Jews who were shocked to learn that Christ had resurrected – the theft theory, the vision theory, the swoon theory
4) This Jesus said, Go to all nations in My name (Matthew 28:16-20). Cast out demons. Lay hands on the sick. Even if you drink poison, you will not die (Mark 16:15-20).
▷ You are not dying. Your prayer, the Word, and evangelism continue for eternity, and the work keeps taking place even to your future generations. That is why He said to Solomon, “Because of your father I will forgive you, I will give you a chance.” Later, all people die, and the event of going to hell and heaven and being changed takes place. At that time you will see God’s amazing glory.

▣ Conclusion

1. Go with the faith of resurrection and the faith of life.
1) If you go with only this faith, one of you can save a family.
2) If you only hold onto this, you can save the church.
3) If you only hold onto this covenant, you can save the workplace.
4) If you are only not deceived in the places where the Remnants are scattered, you can save them.

2. Faith that believes in the healing and power that come when praying in the name of Jesus Christ is important.

Thank you. When we were young, the environment, after all, didn’t really have places where you could study comfortably and such. So back then, if I bought one ticket, I could ride the bus up to a certain point. So every Saturday without fail, since that was a time when I wasn’t preaching, I would take one or two books and get on the bus. On the bus I would quietly look out and read books like this, and when it went all the way to the end, I would just get off. Back then, in Busan, a place called “Gichal” was the very last stop, and it was nice to get off there. There was a river, there was a stream, there were trees, and I would look around like this. Then I would get on again and come back like this, like this. Almost every week. Of course I didn’t do it when something special came up, but I did that almost every day. It turned out to be a really good time for me. That ended at the same time I got married. Because she kept asking where I was going. She kept asking why I was going. What’s more important, she asked who I was going with. So I thought it would be better not to go.

▣ Introduction

1. Background of the Text

1) Lazarus’ house in Bethany
Actually, Jesus had no place to lay His head and no place where He could rest. So there was a house where Jesus rested comfortably. That is Lazarus’ house in Bethany. And the two younger sisters ran errands well and so on, and one of them is the woman who poured perfume on Jesus, right? So it was a house where He could very comfortably pray and meditate and such.

2) Israel at that time
At that time the nation had fallen into a great crisis, the era of being a vassal state had come, persecution was arising, and so on. What’s worse, it was right before disaster was about to strike. It was such a time.

3) Lazarus, who had a fatal illness
Lazarus is a person whom Jesus liked very much, right? And people around called him a heretic, and as a disciple who believed in Jesus, he was a great target of persecution. But these people lived well, did well, and were a very exemplary kind of disciple, I tell you. This Lazarus got a fatal illness. Now, at that point, what should be done? There were methods Jesus had used until then, right? He raised Jairus’ daughter, and He heard the wailing of the widow of Nain whose only son had died and raised that son too. Jesus even healed by the Word without even going. But this important person was about to die, so shouldn’t Jesus have said right away, “Let’s go”? He didn’t go for two whole days. I didn’t read it all, but if you read the earlier part, He went to the region of Judea. The disciples even asked like this, “Why, if You go to the region of Judea there are many who will persecute the Lord now, so why there, why that house and not Lazarus’ house?” So He talked about spiritual things and such, right? He even said things like, “A person must walk in the daytime. If one walks at night, such and such happens.” Meanwhile, everyone, this is a text you know well, but there is something you must receive and take with you today, I tell you. Meanwhile, Lazarus died. Well, even supposing Jesus goes and raises him, it had already been four whole days since he died. As the Bible records, it had reached the point of decaying and smelling, but Jesus doesn’t go, I tell you. We must first look at that.

2. We do not think of no answer as an answer.
We think that no answer is not an answer.

1) Abraham
For 25 years he had received a sure promise, and even though he had it, the answer didn’t come, right? Do you know? It’s Abraham. He received the promise at age 75, and he had a child when he became 100, I’m telling you. This is something we must hold onto well. Why? Then what happened to Abraham during that time?

2) Joseph
Why, for 17 years he held onto God’s covenant and prayed, but it seemed to get harder and harder. He was a slave and then ended up going even to prison. In the year he turned 30, he meets the king. Then was what Joseph had during that time really no answer?
What Christians, especially Koreans, are most mistaken about is that they think it’s an answer only when they grab something. If you don’t know that you sitting in this place now is an answer, you’ll miss a lot, right? It’s not just that. Everything is in here. You must be a person who can see that an answer has come when a problem has come to me. Right? This was the 7 Remnants. This was the people of Hebrews chapter 11. This was the people of the early church. The most foolish thing is saying amen absurdly; that is the same as superstition, right? Why, a problem hasn’t come, but it’s a problem? This is mental illness. Right? But a problem really came, I tell you. Absurdly, it’s okay? Where would there be such a person with no plan? A problem came, but it’s okay. That’s not how it happened. Small and big problems came, and they discovered something tremendous.

3) Hannah
Hannah had no answer at all in the beginning, right? As we often say, no matter how much I pray, there’s no answer. Does God really exist? No, right? What Hannah wanted was a vain prayer. Right? One day, “Give me a Nazirite.” She realized. Didn’t God answer immediately?

4) David
Why, for more than 15 years, more than 20 years, he ran around fleeing, faced death, and faced extreme situations several times; David did, right? Isn’t that an answer? Look at the whole Bible, I’m telling you.

5) Elisha
Other friends all took Bethel, Gilgal, and Jericho, but, like you, to me who has no basis at all, give a double portion of the spirit. Most people see that as content without value. Is that so? It’s not, right? He came to raise up the Dothan movement.
You who are sitting here must remember this. When you hear God’s Word, do not hear a sermon, but you must grasp what the grace God gives me is, I tell you.

6) Daniel who resolved
When Daniel was taken captive, he said, “I resolved.” He said, “Becoming prime minister and a high official is not what is important; I resolved.” That Daniel did not choose something foolish. He chose something tremendous.

3. Before knowing the reason why Jesus went late to Lazarus, you must first know who this One is.
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life.” He spoke of it right before this today, I’m telling you. “I am the resurrection and the life.” “I am the resurrection and the life,” who even now works and is doing the amazing work of saving. Why did Jesus stay and go late? Before that, you must first know who on earth this One is. You must experience it and receive an answer once.

1) The One who existed before creation
Who on earth is Jesus Christ? He was the One who was before creation. Right? It said that even Abraham believed in Him and was saved. If you know this part, all past destiny and disaster really become unrelated. Why? He is the One who ended our past. Everyone, in the end you drown in the past and die. You must end it. When I quietly look like this, when I see people becoming discouraged or shaken somewhere while living the life of faith, they definitely fall into their own past. It’s big trouble. Christ, who was from before eternal ages, changed all our past into blessing. You must believe that. When does it appear? It comes out at decisive moments. You must remember. Why, they’re doing well, living the life of faith well and diligently. Then one day you see them collapse, and they collapse because of that in the past. Satan knows this. There are past wounds, right? That is the same as cancer. They are caught there. End it, I’m telling you.

2) The One who incarnated and came to be seen
Second, who is Christ? Jesus is the One who incarnated and came to be seen. He is God who came to be seen, I mean. Everyone, seeing and holding onto this covenant is called faith, receiving, salvation. At this time, the Holy Spirit is bound to work within you. It is certain.

3) The One who overcame death and resurrected
Who is this Christ? He is Christ who overcame death and resurrected. What is it? You must grasp the evidence. Even now He is with us invisibly. He gave evidence and went. Now, you must not fail to believe this much. He gave evidence and went. What was it? “Ask in My name. Command in My name. Use authority in My name. Pray to God in My name.” Got it? So Peter said, “In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, I command you, rise up and walk.” You think of this great blessing too ordinarily, but when you say “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,” the forces of darkness tremble. They know you don’t believe. That’s why they don’t tremble. Everyone, they know it’s fake. Knowing that you don’t believe in the power of Christ, this darkness keeps following you around. You must know. They know you don’t believe. Even unbelievers say it, right? “He knows like a ghost,” they say, right? The demons know. He resurrected and has called us to break down darkness even now in that name. This is the main point (主) of the Bible. If you don’t know this, there’s no need to do church. Why do church? Why go to church? Just stay at home. Right? It’s tremendous. So because the church misses this, all the churches in America have begun to close their doors. You who are hearing the message in America now are important. Do not be deceived by other things. Hold on firmly.

4) Christ who will stand as the Lord of the Second Coming when the end comes
Because the end will surely come. All scholars have said this. They said the end of the earth will come. Christ who will stand as the Lord of the Second Coming at that time.

▣ Main_ The reason Jesus appeared late even though Lazarus had already died
Now, this Jesus appeared late. Even though he had died.

1. He is not dead but asleep (John 11:11, 13).

1) Our soul is for eternity.
This is first. Jesus said he is not dead but asleep. It is in verse 11 too, and in verse 13; I didn’t read it all, but it is recorded. This is a very important word. He is not dead but asleep. People who have not received salvation, when they die, it’s dead. It’s over. No. Our soul has only been called to heaven; he is asleep. You must definitely remember.

2) The gospel and our prayer and evangelism ministry are for eternity. They do not disappear. That is why we dedicate ourselves.
Your prayers as ones who are saved, what you are doing now, are for eternity. I hope you believe. It’s not over. Because humans made it, it’s over; religion is what’s over. You must know that the gospel is for eternity and is not over.
There is a mother who prays a lot, and in this person’s family no one believes. Why, how can that be? Shouldn’t they at least come to church once just to look around? She is a mother who believes so well, but no one in the family believes. Fortunately, following that mother’s wish, it ended up that they wanted to hold the funeral in the church style. I went to that funeral and preached the gospel. Even a fool would have to do that; what else could I do? But now those children believe so well that even we are amazed. It’s not just believing well, I’m telling you. Usually when you see ordinary church members, there’s this and that, a lot of ups and downs, right? There’s none of that. Usually people who go to church are like that, right? There’s a lot of this talk and that talk. This person doesn’t have that either. Firmly holding onto the Word. “Wow!” How can this happen like this? It’s right that God did it, but how can a person change like that, I mean.
“Your brother is not dead but asleep.” Everyone, your prayer and evangelism do not disappear. That’s why we dedicate ourselves like this.

(1) The prayer of Moses, who knew this (Psalm 90:16)
Do you know Moses’ prayer? Psalm chapter 90 said it, right? Bless according to the number of days I suffered. To whom? He talked about two. To the Lord’s servants. And to whom? To the descendants. That’s right. Make no mistake, your prayer, your evangelism ministry, will have work take place for eternity. You must believe. It is not dying. It is sleeping. When you grow very old and go, that is sleeping.

(2) Paul, who knew this
Paul is a spiritually smart person, right? He said going is better. The work continues, I’m telling you. After Paul died, a great work took place in Rome.

3) Your prayers are recorded in the kingdom of heaven (Revelation 8:3-5), and living the life of faith and moving to evangelize are all captured on heaven’s CCTV, and it says not one will be in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Your prayer, I think, “It is being recorded in the kingdom of heaven.” That’s right. Is it in the Bible? It is. In Revelation chapter 8 verses 3 and 5, it is all contained. Your living the life of faith, your moving to evangelize, are completely all captured on CCTV in heaven. Is it in the Bible? It is. In 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 58, not one will be in vain. Jesus had a reason to go late. He is making known something important. He arrived late.

2. Because Christ became the firstfruits of our resurrection on the last day, He said he is not dead but asleep.

1) Jesus, who said “Your brother will rise again” in response to Martha’s words that if Jesus had been there her brother would not have died (John 11:22-23)
This is second. What did Jesus make known? On the last day we will all be resurrected. I am the firstfruits. So being dead is not being dead. Who said that word? Because Martha learned that doctrine from Jesus, she said it. “Why have You come only now? If You had come quickly, wouldn’t my brother have not died and lived?” When He said, “Your brother will rise again,” she said, “Yes, he will rise on that last day, the day of resurrection.” Because of this, many people have criticized that Martha had unbelief, that it was a doctrinal faith, but that’s not so.

2) I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live even though he dies, and whoever now lives and believes will never die for eternity (John 11:25-26)
Jesus continued speaking. Jesus. In verse 25, “Yes. I am the resurrection and the life.” He said an important word in verse 26, right? “Whoever now lives and believes will never die for eternity. He who believes in Me, even the dead, will live.” Most people don’t understand this. What that means is, even if you die on this earth now and are called to heaven, you will live later, in a resurrection body. All bodies will be changed. Right? What if on the last day you haven’t died and are still alive? Then you will live for eternity.

3) This is related to future generations and eternity, and it is saying that my life, the souls I have saved, and the Lord’s work do not die for eternity.
Many people ask, “Is this all that important?” No. It is related to your future generations and eternity for a long time to come. The human soul does not disappear. It is only sleeping for a while. The word sleeping means waking up. Today Jesus Himself said it. “On the last day, yes. He who believes in Me will live even though he dies, and he who lives and believes will never die for eternity.” Your life, the souls you have saved, and the Lord’s work will not die for eternity.

3. Actual saving took place.
This is third. Actual saving took place.

1) Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God (John 11:40)
An actual saving that shows who Jesus is took place. What is Jesus saying? “My brother is now completely dead and rotting and now smells, how have You come only now?” “If you believe My word, you will see the glory of God.”

2) For the benefit of the people standing around (John 11:42)
Right here, it said many people were standing around watching. So it says Jesus spoke loudly. It is directly recorded. Many Jews, many relatives, and many family members are watching. Right? It’s not just that. Today the world is watching. In fact, now that 2,000 years have passed, we are also watching. He said, “Take away the stone.” So, “Ah, what, does He want to see the corpse?”

3) Lazarus, come out (John 11:43)
Jesus said, “Lazarus, come out.” What is it? This word is very important to the Jews. It is very important to people who are believing in Jesus now.
It means that Jesus Christ is the Triune God and the Creator. Pray this. In the name of Jesus Christ, re-creation can take place in your work. Truly hold onto God’s covenant. It’s that the work of re-creation can take place in one who is dying. It’s amazing. That’s what is being talked about now. Later the Jews, after first crucifying Christ and after He resurrected, huh? They were shocked. So at first they lied, right? “They stole the body,” like this. They just lied. Politicians originally lie well. They keep lying. Because they’re scared. “Ah, they just saw something.” All the vision theory. Why, evidence kept coming out. Only then did they speak correctly. What was it? “Ha, we didn’t kill Him enough. That one woke up.” It’s wrong, but it’s a confession.

4) This Jesus said, Go to all nations in My name (Matthew 28:16-20). Cast out demons. Lay hands on the sick. Even if you drink poison, you will not die (Mark 16:15-20).
This Jesus said, “Go to all nations in My name.” “Cast out demons in My name.” “Lay hands on the sick in My name.” “Even if you drink any poison, you will not be harmed.” It means He will protect. It doesn’t mean drink poison; it means He will protect. It’s a tremendous word.
The event that took place in this village of Bethany today, what Jesus did, makes known something tremendous to us. It’s that you are not dying. Your prayer, the Word, and evangelism continue for eternity. The work keeps taking place to your future generations. To an unbelievable degree. Why, does it mean that even if the future generations do wrong, they inherit what the ancestors did well? It doesn’t mean that, right? Solomon said it. “Because of your father, I will forgive you once. I will give you a chance,” He said, right, in the Bible. At the very end, all people will again all be resurrected. A changed resurrection takes place to divide them to hell and to heaven. That’s how they will go. At that time you will see God’s amazing glory. But now this is not believable, I tell you. Now. He’s dead and smells. Jesus commanded. “Lazarus, come out.” Many theologians, including Bengel, interpreted it like this: “It’s a good thing He said ‘Lazarus, come out.’ If He had just said ‘Come out,’ the whole cemetery would have come out.” They joked like that.

▣ Conclusion

1. Go with the faith of resurrection and the faith of life.
Jesus Christ, who on earth is He? We know. So today, go with the faith of resurrection and the faith of life.

1) If you go with only this faith, one of you can save a family.
If you go with only this, you, one person, can save a family. You must believe.

2) If you only hold onto this, you can save the church.
If you only hold onto this, you can save the church wherever you go.

3) If you only hold onto this covenant, you can save the workplace.
If you only have this covenant, you can save the workplace wherever you go, I’m telling you. You can save it. I have seen such witnesses.

4) If you are only not deceived in the places where the Remnants are scattered, you can save them.
If you are only not deceived in many places, in the places where our Remnants are scattered, you can save them. Without a doubt. There’s a lot of evidence to give. You’ve heard evidence a few times, right? I have received so much grace seeing the elders. Really.
There is an elder who came over from North Korea, I mean, because of his life of faith. I saw this person being blessed and saw his testimony, and it’s not because of money. What does this person have? He threw away his company, threw away money, threw away everything, and fled holding one Bible, he said. This person is truly a man of God, as I see it. In doing that business, they all gather on Sunday, and he has to go to church, but they drink and cook up business deals all among themselves, he said. When he looked behind that, their homes were all a mess. This elder sincerely spoke with tears. Whether the sons and daughters he left in the North are studying, how they are living in North Korea, it weighs so heavily on his heart that he can’t forget, he said. So he gave scholarships to the children of the company’s business partners. As much as they were drinkers, later they came to know. They did everything with the elder as the priority. They told him about the dangerous things. He dedicated a lot to the church, that person.

2. Faith that believes in the healing and power that come when praying in the name of Jesus Christ is important.
It’s said we pray in the name of the Lord, and God knows whether you believe or not, but the biggest problem is that the forces of darkness know well. I won’t say the name, but a certain pastor in Busan had a child, had a daughter, and the daughter couldn’t speak. This is this person’s story. He kept praying before God to open this daughter’s ears and open her mouth. But the daughter was not healed, he said. But changes began to come to himself. Power began to come to this person. So he healed many patients, right? Why, I invited that person as the speaker for Sunday evening service, I’m telling you. The service started at 7:30, and he preached until 11. He said those who didn’t want to listen could go. Really, some people went, and I prayed in the back: “Lord, please let it end quickly.” Really, it’s not a lie. It ended at around 11:40, at night. But by the end I didn’t even know what he was saying. Mumbling something. That night, a certain senior deaconess in our church, a person who had been tormented by evil spirits her whole life, right? This began to be healed.

Your children are having difficulty? They can’t do as they wish. Right? They’re like Lazarus, I’m telling you. Everyone, if you think wrongly, the answer doesn’t come.

3. You must believe in the power of intercessory prayer.

Summary

You must know that the military is the last opportunity. There is no guarantee that they will go to church after being discharged. Even if they go to church, they will not be told the important story.

▣ Introduction_ We must come out of darkness, but only Jesus spoke this word

▷ Pastors never talk about this. So I went to the field and saw.

1. The word Jesus spoke from beginning to end – Go to all nations (237)

1) He spoke this to Abraham – He said all peoples will be blessed through you

2) Because they do not know this, Israel, who received the gospel, and we have completely fallen into disaster

▷ When Jesus spoke this word, they were already in a state of being slaves, captives, and a vassal state. Because they could not understand this word, the descendants of Israel were cursed for 2,000 years. If you do not know this, there is no point in living a life of faith. There is no point in attending church.

3) You must find it, and you must help others find it. It is the last mission.

2. The problem that churches throughout the world do not teach

1) New Age Movement (Genesis 3:1-6) – Exactly like the Garden of Eden incident, it teaches that you will become like God.

2) Freemasons (Genesis 6:1-4) – They are carrying out the Nephilim movement that makes people come into contact with spirits through the meditation movement.

3) 3 Organizations (Genesis 11:1-8) – Christianity is no longer needed. They will carry out the 2nd Tower of Babel movement.

3. At this time Jesus gave the answer in three ways

1) He said you are now in darkness. So He said that He came as the light (John 1:1-14)

Even though no one taught it, all over the world they make serpents and serve them. Invisibly, my spiritual father is the devil. Even if I stay still, I commit idol worship. As a result, I suffer spiritually for my whole life. This is then passed on to the children. If you know prayer, 237 is possible.

4. Romans 11:5 Paul quoted what God said to the discouraged Elijah, that 7,000 disciples remained

– Even so, there has become a remnant according to the election of grace.

2. The problem that churches throughout the world do not teach

3. At this time Jesus gave the answer in three ways

2) He said you have become slaves (John 8:34-40)

Then He said another frightening word. You have become slaves. So, everyone, back then a slave was not treated as a person. So they say, “How are we slaves!” in the text. If you are not careful, people who attend church cannot have a conversation. Neither a fleshly conversation nor a spiritual conversation works. They came out like this: “No, our ancestor is Abraham, so how are we slaves?” Then Jesus said this: “Aren’t you failing to do what Abraham did?” He said a frightening word. “Aren’t you failing to do what Abraham said?” It appeared in today’s text. Everyone, it is good to try to read the Bible a lot, but you must find all the answers in the Gospel of John.

3) He said your father is the devil (John 8:44)

And then He said a horrible thing. He helped with the biggest problem at the wedding feast. “And covering up for an adulterous woman.” Is that what He did? He forgave a woman who sincerely repented. “And breaking the Sabbath.” Is that so? He saved one who was dying on the Sabbath. Are these Pharisees really people who believe in God?

There are still too many people who use these Pharisee words even now. So they cannot overcome darkness. Remnant. I am saying this because they keep picking fights over the remnant. Pastors and theologians pick fights over “the remnant.”

I was waiting for some news and I got a call. “Pastor, she has gotten worse, I think we need to take her to the hospital.” “Please wait just a little. In a little while, if it is not dangerous, go tomorrow.” That night the work happened. With her own mouth, “I can’t live in this house because of this Christ.” Herself. And then the girl’s mind came back completely.

“Wow!” Satan knows. Whether you believe or not. Right? I am telling you, this evil spirit, the demon, knows. It knows, “This person is someone who believes in Jesus.” It knows, “He will never give up.” Then it has to leave. I am telling you, the important thing is that they do not believe. They do not believe in the reality. The work of the Holy Spirit is actually happening and the work of evil spirits is actually happening. If you do not believe in the work of evil spirits that is actually happening, how will you believe in the work of the Holy Spirit? It is all lies. They do not believe in what is real. Summary

When Israel rejected Christ, Jerusalem collapsed 37 years later. There was no nation until 1948. For 2,000 years Israel fell into darkness. The 120 held on to Christ as the covenant. The nations that had the gospel came to save the world. It is a tremendous moment of choice between death and life. Satan knows that we think of Christ as ordinary. The person of the Holy Spirit wins even if he believes just a little. If you pray just a little, the Holy Spirit and evil spirits are no match. But they make the wrong start. During public worship, you get to see the tremendous line of the covenant, but because this is not seen, they think it is fine not to worship.

Do not try to listen to my sermon; you must confirm today’s Word well. After this passage, a big event happens to Israel. To put it simply, they rejected Christ. And about 40 years passed, right? To be exact, about 37 years passed. Jerusalem collapsed. And then there was no nation until 1948. In 1948 it became independent through the UN. Actually, our country also became independent from Japan around that time. For about 2,000 years Israel fell into darkness. Among them, 120 people held on to Christ, to the covenant. The answer is clearly shown, isn’t it? And around 1948, the nations that had the gospel saved the world. Now the gospel is disappearing a bit, but the nations that had the gospel came to save the world. It is a tremendous moment of choice.

How well one preaches does not matter. When I watch places like Christian broadcasting, pastors keep saying things that are not in the text to make people laugh, but do not do that kind of thing. The Word of God is a matter of life or death, right now. We think of it as ordinary. We just think of, well, Christ as ordinary, don’t we? Satan knows that and likes it. But because we are people of the Holy Spirit, it is actually no fight at all. You only need to believe a little, but it is because you do not actually believe; if you believe even a little, you win. Right now, let someone hurt your pride. All your faith drops away. Isn’t that so? Let someone make you feel hurt. All the faith you had drains out. Isn’t that so? Look at churches that fight. They are worse than unbelievers. There is no Christ.

If you pray just a little, the Holy Spirit and evil spirits are no contest. Even with people who are so good, when I look, they keep making the wrong start. ‘Ha, what a pity.’ It is good fabric, but they cut it wrong. There are so many believers like that. Why? Because the line of firmly holding on to the covenant and praying has not been grasped. Actually, the line has not been grasped. If that is so, when you worship alone or in public worship like this on Sunday, you get to see a tremendous line, right? But you just cannot see it at all. So, well, you do not need to worship. You cannot see it anyway. Isn’t that so? You would rather go home and watch television and receive grace, right? There are many singers, and singers sing well these days, so you watch and, wow, get moved, and how nice is that. Just do that. Why come to church and suffer? A tremendous result comes out.

▣ Introduction_ Rejecting Christ

So if you look at verse 44 today, they dare to try to seize Christ and kill Him. They come to reject Christ. The Bible is explaining this in detail now. As you know, these 120 held on to Christ as life. It is about who He is. The answer is out, right? So how we hold on and pray is important.

[ Idol temples (evil spirits, the Holy Spirit) ]

You do not need to fear this Satan. But you must not take it lightly. We are trying to build a temple now, and these many idol temples now are actually nothing much, right? But you must not take it lightly. Because evil spirits definitely work, it is enormous. But because we are people of the Holy Spirit, it is no contest. You only need to pray a little. Wait. Do not keep trying to do other things; I tell you, wait. They do not wait. “Oh, we are going to starve to death.” That will not happen. All of it here (evil spirits, the Holy Spirit) is no contest. And because we do not fight at all, because we do not receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit at all, naturally it looks like we are losing. Do not be afraid. The scale of idol temples is enormous, isn’t it? And those facilities are tremendous. They do not build like we do. Those people build over decades, hundreds of years. Amazing, right? To build those enormous idol temples, they build them passing it down as a will from generation to generation. Humans do not listen to God’s Word, but they listen well to the devil’s words, I tell you. Hearing that, I do not know how hard they work. They do everything.

1. What they do not know (religious people) (12 strategies)

There is no need to be afraid. Because these religious people now have something they do not know, right? What is it that they do not know? People of the world now, religious people, do not know. They do not know what Satan’s 12 strategies are, I tell you.

1) Temples

2) Idols

Because they do not know, they build temples, and they do not know how bad it is to worship idols.

3) Ancestral rites

And then when they hold events, they perform ancestral rites, right? They do these things without knowing what they are, I tell you. So people who practice spiritual cultivation say they do ki (氣) exercises, say they saw something, but it is all demons’ play, so do not be deceived. Someone came while performing ancestral rites? It is all demons’ play. If there is anyone who performs ancestral rites, do not worry and do away with all of it. That is demons coming. It is not your parents; it is all demons’ play, that is. This (temples, idols, ancestral rites) is all that play, but people get deceived. Because they cannot know.

2. What the Jews do not know

And what the Jews have not known until now.

1) The three feasts

There are so many things the Jews do not know, but most fundamentally, there are the three feasts, right? The last day of the feast, when they keep the feast today, refers to the Feast of Tabernacles. They keep the three feasts, but they do not know what the three feasts mean. Passover. For Passover, they just do their Passover event, make bread and eat it, sleep there, and they only think of this. When they say Pentecost, they only think, “We harvested grain after 50 days.” Among them, a fairly big one is the Feast of Tabernacles, Thanksgiving in our language. At that time, they actually make booths. On that day Jesus visited the temple.

2) The law

These Jews do not know the meaning of the three feasts, and what they actually do not know is the meaning of the law. They cannot even keep it all, yet they think they must keep it all. And they think they have kept it all. So life is extremely hard and complicated. These people cannot even wear women’s accessories, you know, on a special Sabbath day. Why? Because those also have weight.

3) Christ

And what these Jews do not know now is that they have completely misunderstood Christ. They do not know who Christ is now. Now, the Jews do not know, and almost all do not know. They do not know what original sin is, and things like Satan they cannot know at all. How is it? The church is the same now. You are very interested in small mistakes, but you have no interest at all in what is contrary to God’s Word, to the gospel. That is original sin. Israel was ruined because of that. Does God give such a harsh punishment? Because only that way can the gospel that saves the world be delivered. There is no choice. Because it must be delivered. Suppose that person has medicine that saves the world, I gave it to him, and he just keeps it to himself? I must take it even if I have to beat him and give it out. Isn’t that right?

▣ Main_ 120

What did these 120 hold on to at this time? It is what you must pray for this week. What should you pray for? It is what Jesus spoke. You must enjoy the blessing of the rivers of living water flowing. This temple (where the rivers of living water flow) is needed. Temple construction is important too, but the work of God that takes place in the temple is more important. Today in chapter 7 verse 38, “Whoever believes in me, rivers of living water will flow.” These people (the 120) held on to this, and these people (the Jews) missed it. Then pray with this for one week. Truly, rivers of living water will flow from me. Especially, sick people, pray. People with spiritual difficulties are certainly people who have received a special gift, so steadily hold on to the covenant and pray. What does it mean that rivers of living water flow?

1. The living water of life that restores the original

Restore the original. It means this living water of life that restores the original. Pray for this. I must restore this. Jesus is saying that now.

2. The living water that revives together

Secondly, it refers to this living water by which we now revive together. Drink this.

3. The living water that revives alone

Now, finally, receive and drink this living water by which you revive alone.

Conclusion_ [ Temple ]

It is building a temple where this can happen. Then that is enough. Now, pray for one week.

1. The living water of life that restores the original

At the beginning, what living water did He give?

1) Pishon

Completely within Eden, there is a river called Pishon.

2) Gihon

When it was first created, within Eden there was a river called Gihon. There were four rivers, I tell you.

3) Hiddekel

A river called Hiddekel. There is a river like this.

4) Euphrates

Next is the Euphrates.

These four rivers flowed in Eden. If you look at this in detail, what it says is that this Pishon wound around the region of Havilah, which means it was saving that whole region. It says Gihon flowed around the entire land of Cush. Try imagining it. It says Hiddekel wound around all of Assyria. At the beginning, this water of life that God gave us was meant to save the whole world and for us to live. This was lost. So today He speaks important words.

2. The living water that revives together

1) John 7:38

Today in chapter 7 verse 38, “Whoever believes in me will make rivers of living water overflow.” This is today’s chapter 7 verse 38. This is what we must enjoy while praying together.

2) Ezekiel 47:1-12

Not only that, but now, long ago, looking at Ezekiel 47:1 to 12, “The water flowing out of the temple will save the whole land.” Just experience it. Do not do other things; just believe. Well, there is nothing to lose, right? Well, speaking calculatingly, if you have no faith, let us talk by calculation. When you give money to a swindler, if it goes wrong, you can be cheated out of it, right? Isn’t that so? Well, when I start a business, if it goes wrong, I can take a loss, right? Calculate, I tell you, if you have no faith. Holding on to God’s covenant and praying, there is nothing to be cheated of. You just need to believe and go. Satan blocks this. So do not worry; the prayer by which you truly gain strength must begin. “Whoever believes in me, from within him, from his belly, rivers of living water will overflow.” Looking at Ezekiel 47, “The water that came out of the temple will save the whole land and flow even to the south.” It is prophesied, right? I have told you a lot about it before, right?

Exodus 17:6

In Exodus 17:6, “The water that came out of the rock, the water of life, will save everything.”

Psalms 105:41

In Psalms 105:41, “This water will flow and the dry land will become like a river.” Today Jesus gave that Word. These people (the 120) held on to the covenant that the Jews, who could not understand at all, lost, and they came to save the whole world.

3) The Holy Spirit

And He said this, right? How do you drink living water? He even gave the answer. You would say, “How do I drink living water? The refrigerator is full of water, so do I drink living water?” It is not that, right? Jesus even answered. In verse 39. He said this concerning the Holy Spirit. That is the living water. The answer is in the Bible, right? How simple and easy it is, you all, it is the Word spoken concerning the Holy Spirit.

(Genesis 2:7)

So it means, receive the power of the Holy Spirit, like God breathing in the breath of life in Genesis 2:7. With what do you receive it? With prayer. Receive it with prayer. So God breathed this life into us.

(Ezekiel 47:1-10)

This is like, if you look at Ezekiel 47:1 to 10, two things appear, right? He asked, “Can these dry bones live?” He said, “O Lord, You know.” Isn’t that right? Then it means these dry bones have all died. “Prophesy the Word to these dry bones.” And the latter words are more important. “Prophesy the breath of life to those dry bones.” So because the work of the Holy Spirit blowing took place, they became an army, that is what it is. Do this. Just keep praying this prayer.

I am fine on other days, but on Sunday, you see, I am fine during conferences. My Sunday message preparation usually ends at two o’clock, at dawn. Yesterday, for the first time, it ended at about ten o’clock. Saying, “God, please come quickly.” The Holy Spirit must work in me so that I prophesy God’s Word. I must not tell my own stories, right? (Main) So pray this week. “God, pour out living water, the breath of life on me.” Sick people, do not be discouraged, do not look at other things, and pray, “Pour out God’s breath of life, the Holy Spirit, on me.” When will I be healed? Leave that to God; one day it will disappear. Like that, your spiritual problems that were difficult will disappear one day. Even problems that never worked out, one day the answer will come to you, and you will be firmly in the position of victory, helping other people like this. Isn’t that Joseph? Joseph did not say, “Please make me prime minister, and so on…….” It is not like that. Simply, because he was within this power, one day he became prime minister. It is not a dreamlike story. It is not a hard story. You become prime minister by competing? Truly, it will not happen even if you die a hundred times. Isn’t that right? Which is correct? Joseph went to the powerful nation of Egypt and became prime minister by competing? That will not happen even if you die a hundred times. Isn’t that right? In other words, this worked. Because the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of the Lord was with him, the answer of seeing the world came all at once, right? It will come in the future. This “Pray,” means, said the other way around, that we do other things more. That is what it means. Right away, when we come to church, we do not receive blessing first but hear a lot of people’s stories first, right? Right away it goes like that. Right away, you do not experience the work of God’s power first but keep trying to do worldly things first, like this, right? You just need to change it a little.

3. The living water that revives alone

This is what Jesus finally said with great effort.

1) John 14:16-17

John 14:16, 17. Before that, He showed every kind of miracle, and it was no use. Isn’t that right? He fed five thousand and sent them off, and one day when something blew up, they all ran away. Right? They followed Him risking their lives, and one day something is a bit strange? They all run away. Still, a few remained who did not run away. With the disciples. These are the words He spoke at this time. What did He say before this at this time? “Do not let your hearts be troubled.” He said that. Right? “You believe in God, so do not be troubled. You believe in me, so do not be troubled. And there is the background of the throne of heaven, so do not be troubled.” Having said that, He told the real story. Isn’t that this (John 14:16-17)? “When I go, I will send the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, to you, and He will be with all of you who believe.” This is what we enjoy. Try praying alone. Whether an answer comes, you do not even need to think about that. Just do it, I tell you. You do not need your own ability. Try it. It is okay even if you have nothing. Just try it. I have seen it. Am I not a witness? The prayer of one of you can change everything. My mother, who held on to the covenant and prayed, I saw it, right? I saw many great people, but they were of no help to me. Isn’t that so? I have read many books too, I tell you. Not much help. It is knowledge and common sense, since you should not be too ignorant of what others know. With that, I do not change, and it is hard for me to live. I saw it, right? I saw the work of God, the power of prayer answers working. That is why I tell you with confidence. Do not worry. What do you do with people who have gone wrong? Look after them so they can fix it. Right? Well, if there are bad people when you go to church, what do you do? Help them so that they realize and fix it. That is the gospel. Well, then what about church members who have no ability at all? Help them. If those people receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit, they cannot be stopped.

2) John 14:26, 16:13

Jesus said it, right? After that. “I will make you realize and remember everything I taught.” He said the same as in chapter 16 verse 13.

3) John 14:27

And He said in John 14:27, “I give you peace.” That is the greatest answer, right? “The peace I give is not like what the world gives.” These are the words Jesus spoke. He is talking about this living water. When we say living water, it is not that we drink water somewhere, right? “Drink the Holy Spirit. Drink the life of Christ.”

▣ Conclusion_ [ Temple ]

This is the conclusion. Then what should we do?

1. Indirect experience (materials)

Shouldn’t we make it so that this blessing is experienced indirectly? Isn’t that right? Let us make materials at the church so that this blessing is experienced indirectly. So there must be a temple. That is why it must exist. Otherwise, we could just worship anywhere.

Those who have been there will know. In Washington in America there is a building called the Holocaust. You need to go once. What it is, is that during 2,000 years the Jews were scattered and were massacred. I thought it was natural, but for them it is a grievance, right? I say it had to be that way, but they do not know the reason. So what their descendants suffered during 2,000 years, as much as possible, they filmed, captured in photographs, and brought the actual items. Though the Jews are not my people, when I came out after seeing it, ah! I thought, I had many thoughts. There was something that made my heart ache a bit. At some corner, whether it was the entrance or the final way out, they had collected shoes that they had been wearing and dropped. So, ah! The era back then, they were mostly black rubber shoes. They collected them. The Jews come and see the whole thing and leave, right? Do you know what happens? It is completely imprinted. Jewish students go and see it, I tell you. When they see that and leave, it is completely imprinted: “No matter what happens, I will not be shaken and will save the nation and do this and that.” It is amazing, isn’t it? That is why they made it. Our future generations must come to church, see this, and it must be imprinted on them why I must truly study, how I must study, and how I will save the world. Seeing that is called indirect experience.

2. Direct experience (practice)

And why must we build a temple? Now we must experience it directly. Then after seeing this material, shouldn’t we practice it, alone? When you try to practice, there is not even a place to sit when you go to church, so how can you practice? Most churches are like that now. You come and talk just this much, as if meeting on the street; you cannot even have a deep forum. “I want to meditate deeply alone and truly pray with the materials now.” Impossible. So, well, people who can always come to the sanctuary are fine, but when will a person who comes to church only once a week now and then have a spiritual experience? We are saying, let us do this.

3. Complete experience

And what is it? Especially, our Remnants must be made to experience it completely before they go out. To do this, what is needed? Without needing to think of anything special, a place to concentrate is needed, I tell you. You must be able to concentrate, but it is distracting.

Honestly, before I realized the gospel, when going out for fun, where do you mostly go? You go somewhere, right? Don’t you go to the mountains, the fields, the sea? Wow! When I went to a Buddhist temple, it was a different dimension. From the path going up, a stream already flows all along, and inside, apart from looking up at the Buddha, everything is just. Coming down, they sell green onion pancakes. Completely…….

When you come to church, there is nothing at all where we can concentrate a bit and truly pray to God. We must make it. Our church must become, for the first time in history, the church where the 237 healing summit becomes 24. Do you understand? Whatever the answer, it does not matter. It will come. Many people say you cannot break a rock with an egg, but faith breaks a rock with an egg. Just keep throwing. I have seen water drip and make a hole in a rock, I tell you, on my way. And that was on my way to a Buddhist temple. A hole forms in the rock. From water dripping. “Wow, water breaks the rock.” It breaks it. Then what can our spiritual faith not change? There is no need to worry. I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus that this prayer will surely be with you this week.

1. Jesus is the Christ, Jesus is equal with God, and He is the Savior who saves us – The future generations of the Jews, who thought (mistakenly) that a madman had appeared, were massacred for 2,000 years, and the 120 who understood this fact conquered the world.
2. When you have a serious illness or fall into crisis, there is no one who can help. The answer is one. It is holding on to the covenant of the gospel and world evangelization.
1) Joseph – The gospel covenant (Genesis 3:15, 12:1-3) and the covenant of world evangelization (Genesis 37:1-11)
2) Moses – He firmly held on to the covenant of the blood sacrifice and liberation.

2) The 3 curses the people of the world do not know – What Satan does (fortune-telling), this land itself is the background of hell, disasters that keep coming

1. You must change your desire – God’s desire is to give spiritual things, but my desire is for fleshly things

▣ Introduction
A man named Copernicus said this. “The earth is not flat, but round and it rotates.” Then, all at once, the scholars and the medieval church said, “That person is crazy.” They burned him to death. But the earth is round and rotating. They learned it later. Also a man named Newton said, “Why doesn’t this seawater pour out? There is a pulling force on the earth.” They said the same thing. That he’s a madman. But the evidence that Newton’s words were right has now come out. A doctor named Meyer said, “This appendix of ours, we can just take it out. There’s no need to keep it and die. We can operate and take it out.” He said this. All the doctors looked at that doctor and said he was a madman. So this doctor, who became a madman, removed the appendix using his own daughter as the model. From then on, groundbreaking medical techniques began to develop.

1. Jesus is the Christ, Jesus is equal with God, and He is the Savior who saves us
Why do I say this? When He said, “Jesus is the Christ, Jesus is equal with God, and He is the Savior who saves us,” all the Jews said, “A madman has appeared,” right? Do the Jews not know the Bible at all? They know it, so why are they like this? They are mistaken right now. So from that day on, the Jews’ future generations came to be massacred for 2,000 years. The 120 who understood this fact conquered the world.

2. When you have a serious illness or fall into crisis, there is no one who can help. The answer is one. It is holding on to the covenant of the gospel and world evangelization.
Today you must hold on to the covenant well. If a person really gets a serious illness? There is no one to help. Right? If I am really in a crisis? There is no one to help. Day and night, the fear called death follows and tries to kill, and you have to run away. What will you do? There is no one to help. We keep thinking there is someone to help, but there isn’t.

1) Joseph
Joseph was miserably dragged away as a slave and lived as a slave and in prison. No one could help. There was no one to defend Joseph.

Especially, there was no one to help Moses, who committed a murder in Egypt. There was no one. Thinking there is someone is a mistake; there isn’t. Even if there is someone to help, it doesn’t help. Look at that. Not 1 or 2 years, but for decades they mobilized an army and tried to kill David, right? The answer is just one. This Joseph firmly held on to the gospel covenant received in his grandfather’s time that everyone had missed, and the world evangelization covenant of the sun, moon, and stars bowing down. He cannot die. You must hold on to that covenant. It’s not that I must live. He cannot die.

2) Moses
Moses firmly held on to this covenant of liberating Israel by offering the blood sacrifice.

I ask our pastors across the nation and the world, if you preach something else, it’s a disaster. That makes people receive curses. It doesn’t work with anything else. Absolutely not. That’s why churches of the world are closing their doors now. It’s the pastors’ responsibility. You may dislike me a little, and it’s fine to curse me, but hold on to God’s Word. It’s a disaster. Nothing else works.

Moses held on to the blood sacrifice and liberation.

3) Samuel
Only the burnt offering and the Mizpah Movement.

4) David
If you look at the Psalms of David, there is a great deal about Christ. Only Christ and temple construction; they cannot kill him. Those of you who have fallen into difficulty, don’t listen to what other people say, but precisely hold on to God’s Word today. That is prayer, and you just need to wait. Don’t be deceived. Don’t be deceived by swindlers. Everything else is a fraud. When that great difficulty came, they couldn’t help.

5) Elisha
At this time, Elisha, only the Holy Spirit and the Dothan Movement. Absolutely they can’t kill him. He absolutely cannot die. The conditions for him to die are not there. Right?

You hold on to this covenant. Don’t be discouraged, and don’t keep listening to people’s voices, wrong voices. Jesus looked at those people and called them thieves and robbers. Right? Those who bring all the wrong truths so that you cannot receive your precious blessing are thieves and robbers, I’m saying. Jesus said this. It comes out next week. In today’s text, a tremendous dispute is now taking place, trying to seize and kill Jesus; Christ came, and they try to seize and kill Him, it’s right, it’s not, this kind of talk. The timetable had completely come, and not long after this day, Israel was ruined, and for 2,000 years their children, imagine your grandsons and granddaughters going around the whole world as beggars.

Long ago, I was holding a meeting together at a hotel in Gwangju, and a strange person appeared and acted up, and even just that made me uneasy, I’m telling you. They followed David around for decades to kill him, so how hard must it have been? Simply put, David held on to only the covenant and temple construction. You must hold on to the covenant today. Hold on to it this week. Why? The darkness that brings you down fears only Christ. It absolutely does not fear anything else.

Pastors across the nation and the world must not be deceived. Because the pastors are deceived, the church members are deceived. Don’t do all sorts of things. That kills church members. Satan fears nothing except only Christ. In the end, I’m saying, this force of disaster that will drag you and the earth to destruction, the force of darkness, the background of hell, does not fear anything but Christ. Now, today, this time of choice may be passing talk to you, but it is a tremendous time. For the Jews now, it is whether their future generations will go or live for 2,000 years, now. “Even so, I know who your mother is and who your brothers are, how are you the Christ?” That’s it. “No, still, isn’t he the son of Joseph the carpenter? Does it make sense that he’s the Christ?” Even though all the evidence is in the Bible. “No, and besides, He should appear tremendously from the palace. What kind of Christ is like that?” That’s what it is now. Looking at some other people, “Ah, still, seeing the signs, it seems right.” It’s like this. The Bible has parts that unbelievers may read. The Bible has parts that those who believe in God should read. Anyone may believe in God, but there’s no way. Right? There is a way in the Bible that only those who know Christ read.

(2) The Jews
So the Jews now keep holding on to what is wrong, something else, now. So they cannot hear. They’re all like this. Starting from Nicodemus, all of them. They already came with wrong thinking. There are many people like this.

What worries me is, isn’t today’s church like that? They come with something else now and ask for grace. Nicodemus, you know, did that, right? Nicodemus was a tremendous person. He can’t even be compared with us. He was a member of the Sanhedrin council, which had only 70, and he influenced the law of Israel. There was an organization of 6,000 that formed a worldwide organization. That was the Pharisees. It’s tremendous. But it was so hard, right? He was a somewhat smart person. So their country had become a vassal state, right? Still, he was a somewhat enlightened person. So he went to Jesus. He came to Him, but he came with something else. I have to do this tremendous thing, but I’ve reached my limit, what should I do, that’s what he meant. Jesus immediately said, “Unless you are born again, you cannot enter or see the kingdom of God. The wind is not visible to the eye, right? If you don’t know the work of the Holy Spirit, you will die.” These were Jesus’ words. “You need light. Why? You are already in darkness.” Jesus said that. It’s a tremendous message.

Many churches today, there are things they really don’t know well, right?

Long ago I went to America to hold a meeting. We borrowed a big church to hold the meeting, and since I was the speaker, I went. It was a church in the middle of LA, and the church was big, I saw. American churches themselves are not message-centered. They made it echo loudly, so you can’t hear the sermon well. So how hard it was to adjust that, but I did it anyway. I endured for 3 days. While preaching. At the last session, I thought I had to say something. My conscience just couldn’t stand it. It was nothing else, but they had filled the church building with idols, right? In the sanctuary. And there were ancestral rites being held. In the sanctuary. Wow! This is not right, is it?

So when I finished the sermon, I said it. Then, as I was coming out after finishing the sermon, an associate pastor protested to me because I had criticized his church. So I said, “Come find me at my lodging.” “Let’s talk biblically. Let’s talk theologically. Why did you put these things here?” “Even so. You could have just told us quietly. If you speak about it publicly” “Public or private, you can’t leave it like that.” I said it boldly. “I’ll wait at the hotel, so bring the senior pastor.” I said. They didn’t come.

I went to Taiwan again. It’s the most orthodox big church in Taiwan. I went to the biggest church, and looking around, there was a dragon painting inside, a dragon. Well, fine. At the main entrance to the church, they had put up “Great Fortune for the Beginning of Spring” (立春大吉). But they had put it up, and our members are peculiar, right? They tore it off. Tearing it off is fine. The pastor of that church, I don’t know if she was a woman pastor or the pastor’s wife. All chaos broke loose. Chaos broke out then, right, during the meeting. “Why, you come to our church and tear off the decoration we put up?” That’s it. So there was a commotion for a while. So I said, “I’m sorry we removed what someone else put up. But why did you put that up?” I asked. “You just need to believe in Jesus, why that ‘Great Fortune for the Beginning of Spring’ (立春大吉)? And why did you put a dragon there?” That pastor’s wife’s answer is another masterpiece. She said the dragon in Taiwan is a good dragon. I was dumbfounded. This is how the church is now. How can they save people? Taiwan, I’m sorry to say, is full of mental illness. If you ask 10 children, seven or eight raise their hands. Saying they have nightmares.

Haven’t you been there? Haven’t you been to the Russian museum? Haven’t you been to the Louvre Museum? It’s surprising. It’s the same. Do you know what is the same? There are almost idols. That much is fine. So these days I don’t go to museums. When you go to a museum, there are always artworks, right? Because they were countries with a Christian background, those famous artworks are all Christian works. The paintings are the same. They didn’t plan it together, and the painters are all different, but it’s the same, I’m telling you. Mary holding a small baby Jesus. They paint all of that. Subtly, they promote Mary. And if you look at the head, there’s a line, right, something like an aurora, right? Mary has two, Jesus one. And in some places, Mary’s ring is thick and Jesus’ is thin. Really, even when doing the devil’s work, they do it in a dumbfounding way. Look at South America. Catholicism went in and they all became beggars. They all worship idols. Still, the Louvre Museum developed a bit, even so. There’s one more painting. Jesus carrying the cross and collapsing, that kind of thing. They painted that, look. Seeing Jesus collapse, Mary takes His hand and lifts Him up, right? They painted exactly this. It’s dumbfounding. That’s why darkness is covering the whole world.

What I’m saying now, if unbelievers hear it, 99.9% will look at me and say, “That person is crazy.” That’s possible. Many pastors will say, “There he goes again, showing off.” But that’s not it, now.

Our saints, don’t be deceived. 120 conquered the world.

1. Those who have the prophesied covenant
This is the first. They had the prophesied covenant. Right? God has no choice but to work. I’m saying they had the prophesied covenant.

1) Genesis 3:15
It said, “The offspring of the woman will crush the head of the serpent.” That was fulfilled. They know that prophesied covenant.

2) Exodus 3:18
“On the day you offer the blood sacrifice, you will be liberated.”

3) Isaiah 7:14
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son. And will call him Immanuel.” They were people who had the already prophesied message. They absolutely cannot be ruined.

4) Isaiah 53
Isaiah 53 explained it in detail. “How He will die by suffering on the cross.” It was prophesied, I’m telling you. “He will be born in Bethlehem, it was prophesied. He will be laid in a manger. He will be mocked and die on the cross. But He will rise again.” It was all prophesied. That main character has now come.

Everyone, how fearful is the gospel? If you don’t receive it, that person is in big trouble, right? It’s good to receive it. The text is introducing this moment when Israel was in crisis. If we make a mistake, we may come to resemble them.

2. Those who are in the fulfilled covenant
This is the second. These people are those who are in the fulfilled covenant. It’s precise. They are in the fulfilled covenant.

1) Matthew 16:16
They are people who confessed, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

2) Matthew 17
On the Mount of Transfiguration, Elijah is not needed, Moses is not needed; only Christ can overcome darkness.

3) Acts 1:1, 3, 8
That Christ explained the things of the kingdom of God for 40 days and promised world evangelization. “It will work, it won’t work.” There’s no need to even use these words. They cannot be ruined. No matter how excellent you are, if you don’t know this? You are naturally bound to be ruined. They don’t know that now. The church doesn’t know, and now religious people and the people of the world don’t know.

3. Those who are in the covenant to be fulfilled
This is the third. They are those who have the covenant to be fulfilled. There are three things. They had the prophesied covenant. They cannot be ruined. Now, they are now in the fulfilled covenant. More importantly, they are people in the covenant that will be fulfilled in the future. Who could stop them? Experience it. Everyone, go into this and try praying for just one week. Many answers will come out. You will become convinced that the difficulty you are facing now is not a difficulty. You will come to know that the poverty and illness you are facing now are not that. Absolutely.

Then, let’s put it another way. Is it hard for you? Then was Joseph ruined? No, he wasn’t. Is it hard for you to live in the world? Then David would have been ruined, right? But he wasn’t. You must not be deceived. Since you already have the covenant to be fulfilled, who can stop it?

What Isaiah prophesied was fulfilled in Matthew, right? In Matthew 1:19 to 23. He gave as a promise that it would be the evidence, right?

1) Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus said, “I have all authority in heaven and on earth, and I will be with you always, to the very end of the age. However, make disciples who will spread this news.”

2) Mark 16:15-20
And He clearly said, “Go to convey this covenant. In My name demons will be driven out. When you place your hands on the sick, they will be healed.”

Today, everyone, I hope that while praying deeply during worship, the work of healing in the name of Jesus will happen. ‘I have a bit of a spiritual problem, I have a bit of depression?’ Don’t worry. Originally, entertainers, outstanding entertainers, outstanding musicians, people with outstanding minds get spiritual problems. People with very low IQ don’t even get them.

3) Acts 1:8
So what does that mean, then? Then it means the answers you will receive spiritually are tremendous. Don’t do it hastily. The funny thing is, if you look at the record, Helen Keller’s parents told Anne Sullivan it was no use, that she should give up on their child. “The spiritual problem is serious, I know better, do you know? She’s our child. I’ve raised her so I know. She’s hopeless. Don’t bother her anymore.” The teacher doesn’t give up. She keeps going to the end and saves her, right? She made her a doctor, a doctor. They all speak according to their own feelings, speak as they heard, speak as they saw. Will your life of faith work by listening to that? Firmly hold on to God’s Word. You will surely win.

1. You must change your desire
If you don’t change your desire, you can’t understand. Right. God’s desire is to give spiritual things, but I’m saying my desire brought worthless fleshly things.

2. You must also change your faith
You must change your faith. God wants to give eternal things, to enjoy the authority of heaven and earth, but I came now with what I will eat first. You must change it. It’s not too late.

3. You must also change your method
You must also change your method. We must save the world, but we do it with the things of the world; we must save people, but we do it with the things of people; we must change. We do it with God’s method. We must do it that way. It’s certain. Today, I hope you will pray for a week so that Christ will be proclaimed across the nation and the world. Let us pray.
