A New Start

2025.09.14 Sunday 2nd Service
237 Missions Dept. Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: Acts 1:1-8

Thank you. If we are going to do 237 missions, there must be a new start. Because if it is not that, it will not work.

「A New Start」 (Acts 1:1–8)
Jesus Himself spoke this start. Only in this way can we save the 237.

▣ Introduction
There is something you must hold on to here today.

1. Worship
We offer worship. When we offer this worship, almost everything important comes out, but there are hardly any people who truly understand this. When you worship, you must gain answers through the Word. And that must be imprinted in you today. You must definitely have that time. You hardly ever have it. You have the opposite. You just talk about people and absolutely do not have it.
Our church is a little less like that, but back when I taught the middle and high school department, for middle and high school students, work did not get done because they were looking at girls and boys. They could not hear the message. I even gave an instruction. I said, “Have the boys and girls sit mixed together.” Worship does not happen. They just look to see whether someone came or not. Worship does not happen. Do church leaders worship? They do not. What has been imprinted—when you enjoy it for six days, it takes root. And when you finish again with Friday–Saturday–Sunday, you gain many answers and strength. You must restore worship first.

During the time of praise in worship, what kind of time is it? It is the time when the gate of heaven opens and darkness is broken. Right? The choir may do it not knowing, but we must know that and participate. When David praised, not only were the heavenly hosts mobilized, but the darkness upon King Saul was broken. Among these, the most important is the Word, of course. But it is not only the Word that is important. The Word must definitely be imprinted; you must obtain the answer, be imprinted, and be settled. Only then does this begin to take root during the six days. Then something tremendous happens.

Also, when the elders pray, what must you know at that time? The elders have the authority to bless in prayer. If possible, when you pray, it is fine at the beginning to confess and recite a Bible verse that I love. Some people keep teaching Scripture to God, continuously. That is not right, is it? When praying to God, you should not keep teaching God the Scripture. Like our elder earlier, confessing one verse of Scripture by which I received grace—about this much is very good. You may not believe it, but when you pray you have the authority to bless. So you pray that the Holy Spirit would come upon the choir. You pray that the Holy Spirit would come upon the preacher. You pray that the Holy Spirit would come upon the congregation abundantly. At that time. And for those who are sick and cannot attend. You pray for them. For our families and remnants who are far away overseas and for our members, you pray. That is prayer. Personal stories and political stories—God knows them all. Worship is offered to God.

And it is the same with praise, and when there is a special song, that too is worship. Then the person giving the special song should come out and just praise. Some people come out and give a greeting. Then the presider would also have to come out and greet and preside. The preacher would also have to come out and greet and preach. It would have to be like that, right? But it is worship. Also, the one who is in charge of presiding should not pray long because the one who will pray is sitting in the back. Just offer a brief opening prayer. For example, in the first service, Lee Seong-hun was a bit long. The person leading the service should only lead. Right?

And now we are talking about offering, but what do you think about offering in order to revive worship? I am someone who learned by watching offering. My mother is the one who does tithe and thanksgiving offering very devotedly—not merely strictly, but extremely devotedly—so I, watching that, at first was tempted. “Why does she do that?” But my mother is the poorest person, right? When the church was in difficulty, she gave even more. When you go to that mountain, there was one church building being constructed, and at that construction I was astonished. Because I lacked faith, for the first time I spoke ill of my mother. She gave more offering than the elders. A curse came out of my mouth then. Because I lacked faith. It is not like that. We four siblings grew up under our mother, and God never once made us sick. If there were only people like us, someone like Elder Im Gwon-il would have a hard time running a hospital. Because we would not go to the hospital. Not once has anyone come to our house asking for money. Until now, God has made me healthy to run about for world evangelization. I know this. So you must do that devoutly.
So originally, when it comes time for worship, we say we present the offering. Originally, each person would carry the offering and present it to God. Originally. But if we did that, time would all be gone, so we cannot. That is how important this is.

These days, churches around the world are struggling. First of all, there is a problem with exports. Also, due to war in the Middle East and Russia, there are difficulties in moving many goods for export and import. As this has happened, all construction and building in our Republic of Korea are difficult. Being placed in such a situation, now customs issues have also arisen. What should we do? Every church will be in difficulty. I also heard that. Then the answer is simple. As soon as I heard that, I reduced what I spend and give double offering. Our parents did that. Because I saw it, you must receive economic blessing in offering, right? People take offering lightly. I do not need an envelope. I prepare it at home in advance, devoutly, write on it, and bring it like that.
Because we lose all the blessing of worship. Then the Word is confirmed, you see. Then with that you quietly see it fulfilled throughout the six days.

2. Thanksgiving, happiness, strength
So with this, I am so thankful. Right? And when I pray, I must be happy. And if this (strength) has not been found, you must quickly find it. It is not something small.

3. Answer, imprinting, confirmation
You must certainly obtain answers through God’s Word. Usually people just worship and end it, but you must imprint this Word with even a short prayer. Pastors throughout the nation and world should not try to give “good sermons.” Why? Because you are not merchants. You must receive the sure Word God has given, have it imprinted, and imprint it. It must be confirmed. A tremendous Word begins to come alive.

Because we do not believe this (Introduction 1, 2, 3). Nowadays, because we do not believe, other kinds of evidence are starting to appear. Because we so, so do not believe and do not proclaim, some fortuneteller says, “Hey, you need to go to church.” Someone put a book on my desk. Now science is giving testimony. There is a life in which a person originally can avoid aging, they say. So originally eighty is the real beginning, they say. Moses did that, right? And Moses, as he aged, his eyes became brighter, it says. That is normal. We actually do not believe in God. Because we do not believe, now science has started to testify. Someone brought it. When we pray, they have begun to see what happens in the brain. When I went to Europe, a scientist brought a computer. “Evidence for pastor’s breathing prayer.” He laid out scientifically what happens in the brain when you pray with breathing. Because we do not believe. You must believe.

▣ Main Message: Discover five things.

1. The 60-day experience
You must do the 60-day experience once. You must do it once, must you not? There are things to be careful about when you do it. After doing this experience, if you are a normal person, there is no reaction at all. There is no answer. That is normal. Some people fainted while doing this. There is nothing bad about it. But I cannot necessarily say it is right. “I fainted”? There is a problem in the brain. “Nothing is wrong.” That is normal. For me, nothing was wrong. Even when I finished, there was no answer. But this changed my life. You must do it once. Some people say, “Ah, when I prayed, my whole body trembled.” There is nothing bad about it. But you should see it as having a bit of a stroke tendency.

1) Calvary (John 19:30)
We try to fix this one thing. At Calvary. He said, “It is finished.” If so, it is a new start. If I have a problem, that is a new start.
2) Mt Olive (Acts 1:3)
Mt Olive. Acts 1:3—He explained the matters of the Throne for forty days.
3) Mark’s upper room (Acts 2:1–13)
And with that covenant they came down to Mark’s upper room and experienced power. The three feasts. It is the Pentecost experience. You must do this. Once you do this and this taste is formed, from then on the second thing happens.

2. Turning points of the age
Discovery
This Main Message now—because God has prepared everything, you only need to discover. If you believe this (Introduction) fact and have experienced it once, from then on everything is discovery.

3. The way God guides
A third thing has come out. You see that God guides your entire path.

4. Mission turning point
He had prepared a mission turning point by which you can save the 237 nations and shows it to you.

5. God’s plan to save the world
Behind you there is clearly God’s plan prepared to save the world.
These (Main 5) five things—just discover them. If only worship comes alive for you, discovery begins.

2. Turning points of the age
1) Acts 11:19–30
What are the turning points of the age? Through Antioch, although persecution arose, the door of missions that becomes a turning point of the age began to open.
2) Acts 11:25–26
At this time, God sent to this place the person named Paul.
3) Acts 12:1–25

Persecution does not matter. That night, as they prayed, a great event broke out. King Herod died. The Herod who persecuted the Early Church died, and here a great turning point occurred.

3. The way God guides
1) Acts 13:1–4
From this point, what comes out? There is no need to worry at all about saving the 237 nations. The Holy Spirit will completely guide you. This is the answer. “I do not see it well”? Then do not go. Then what if I do not go? Just enjoy and do not go. In the past I prayed for the door to foreign study to open, but it did not open. Then do not go. Right? There is no need to force it. If I did not go, what did I do? I went to a better place. I went every day into the mission field, the evangelism field. I saw something greater. You—those who will save the 237—must in your lifetime obtain a clear answer once. Also, make up your mind once and start by yourself. Start by yourself. If you do it together, it is bothersome. By yourself. Then not only for yourself but also before others you will inevitably have something to testify. This answer must come. Like unbelievers you keep grabbing other things, and other answers come, right? Then if you cannot do world evangelization, it is unfair. Because you must keep suffering. Truly there are many such believers. When a problem comes, they are shaken.
Now, because a problem came, the scattered ones gathered. At that time they called a person named Paul. It is tremendous. Because of the proclamation of the Gospel, persecution arose, but they called Paul and began full-scale evangelism.
2) Acts 13:5–11
Where you go, darkness will be broken. That is enough, right?
3) Acts 13:12
And a system that does not shake is surely made and disciples arise. The proconsul became a disciple. No matter how good a program a church has, it is useless. You as one person must receive answers. Remnants, do not be deceived. When you go outside, no one can help you. You must go with this power to change the world. Do not be deceived.

In the past, when I was passing through six churches, I did not listen well to the adults. Why? Because you cannot do world evangelization. If I listen to that, I will also be ruined. Right? You cannot do world evangelization. Now you are gathering and opening the world door with us, are you not? If this individual cannot obtain the answer, others receive it, but I must always just watch like this. But the world is not easy. Remnants, go outside and see. It is piled up with lies and envy and jealousy. Without power here, you cannot overcome. You must go with the power to win without even fighting. Right? This (Main 3) thing happened wherever Joseph went. They could not kill Joseph. They sent him to be killed, but an even greater (Main 3) thing happened. You must go with this power. You must go with this.

4. Mission turning point
1) Acts 16:6–10
Perhaps on the path you go, there will be something like a door being blocked. This is a great turning point. To Macedonia.
2) Acts 16:15
When they went to Macedonia, a person prepared to help for a lifetime was there.
3) Acts 16:16–18
There a work of casting out demons took place. They changed the village itself. You must remember this.

5. God’s plan to save the world
What God has prepared for you is a plan to save the world.
1) Acts 19:21, 23:11, 27:24
How? “You must also see Rome.” Even if dragged into court, it does not matter. Be of good courage. “You must bear witness in Rome.” Even if you meet a storm, it is fine. “Paul, do not be afraid. You must stand before Caesar.” Why is that?
2) 237–5000
Because there are 237–5000 here. Our remnants in America only need to receive such “300%” answers that you are called for. Just this. Do not be deceived by other words. Must you not do the other things? They all follow.
3) TCK, CCK, NCK
Only then do you attach this with the remnants for you. With this, it is finished.

▣ Conclusion
Now, there is something you must remember at the end. Earlier I spoke looking at the multiethnic people.

Throne [ Isaiah 6:1–13 ] [ 1 Corinthians 3:16 ]
This word “throne” appears in two places. In Isaiah 6:1–13, we see the Lord with the heavenly hosts working from the heavenly Throne. Right? The power of this Throne comes upon us personally. “You are God’s temple,” it says. This place becomes the Throne. The connection of these two is a wondrous miracle of transformation. You must do this.

1. Recovery
So unconditionally in the morning, recover everything. If you are older and do not do this, dementia will come, dementia. You must recover. Someone I know was fine, but then dementia came. He talks nonsense, and now this person cannot be used. He talks nonsense. Once completely gone, we might care for him somewhere, but it has come on moderately, so he goes around saying strange things. “That elder is strange.” People have become like this now. Truly. What is so important? You must recover the strength God gives. Is there anything else important?

2. Confirmation
At noon, you must confirm. There are many things you hear and see. You must confirm. At this tim,e you must confirm God’s blessing and answer.

3. Answer
At night, what is it? You must find the answer in all the Word. If there is something I cannot do? Is there? If so, there is a true answer contained there. You can discover your prayer topic exactly. Because a problem has come. Right? There are many times when we hold God’s covenant incorrectly. But if there is something I cannot do? That is the exact covenant. Pray and you must make a resolution this week. And after that, you must have this (60-day experience) time. Unconditionally have it once.
So I grew up watching our parents. I seized the good things as evidence of faith. The wrong things I seized as prayer topics. Why was our nation at that time so poor and sick… I seized it as a prayer topic. The church was always divided and fighting. What is evangelism? They could not evangelize. As I made that my prayer topic, that answer came. If there is the most difficult thing in your life? That is your true prayer topic. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that this week would be a week in which you receive new strength and see new grace.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Open our spiritual eyes. Let us see God’s power. Open our eyes to see the heavenly army more than the number of people. Open our eyes to see the power of the Throne more than the matters of the world. Let us know that today’s answers are not the answer. Let us know that today’s problems are not the problem. Make us witnesses by whom only God’s plan and power are fulfilled. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Start of All Answers

2025.09.14 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Matthew 16:13-20

▣ Introduction

Because the conditions for destruction must be removed, do not speak but wait (verse 20).

We thought we had started only a few years ago, but thirty years have already flown by. Also, at the beginning of the year we checked our New Year’s message, and now it is already September. On my schedule it already says, “Please send next year’s theme.” So we must now examine our faith a bit and make a fresh start. When I meet with most church members, I hear descriptions that their walk of faith is somewhat difficult. There are not many who say, “I am receiving answers well,” but rather I sense that many say it is all a bit difficult. At times like that I even briefly wonder, “Am I not preaching well?” One of our church leaders said, “The sermons are too difficult.” I thought, “Are they too hard…?” When I meet newcomers, I often sense that they do not quite know what to do or how. And when I meet our members and their families are mentioned, there is always something—like, “We went to church before, but we had a stumbling block and are not attending now.” I can see and confirm such things.

Today’s passage—“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God”—was my first message at the rallies. Pastors across the nation were shocked by this message. They said they were shocked by the evangelism message, and many brought their congregants. Because problems arose in the denomination, many people have almost all left.

Why is that? I pondered this for a week. There may be various reasons, but Christ gave an accurate Word. Christ, who knows our state well, gave the answer. That is verse 20. After granting tremendous blessings and giving the covenant, He spoke in verse 20. Though it should be proclaimed widely, He said, “Do not tell anyone.” Here I gained a tremendous answer. Exactly! God, who knows us too well, tells us to wait. Not to speak yet.

※ They say Jesus is like Jeremiah, Elijah, John the Baptist, or one of the prophets – conditions for destruction. Then many answers began to appear. They say He is like Jeremiah. They say He is like Elijah. They say He is like John the Baptist. They say He is like a prophet—about Jesus. Therefore, because Christ must remove all the conditions for destruction, He says not to speak yet but to wait. Because you are indeed those who must receive answers to prayer and carry out world evangelization, you must surely confirm this.

1. The 12 bartizans of Satan

1) Trap – self, Nephilim, Tower of Babel
Satan has confined you in a trap. You must come out. What trap is it? He makes you unable to escape what is called “self.” This is the part to beware of most. Pastors worldwide think that if ministry goes well according to their will, then it is going well. That is wrong. Church leaders worldwide think that if things go well according to the church leader’s will, then it is going well. That is wrong. Those two “Satans” have collapsed the church. We must see the work of God. Right? If God keeps blessing our church and your work, my plan is unnecessary. A pastor’s insistence is unnecessary. Why must things be done my way? They must be done according to God’s Word. Right? Our stubbornness is unnecessary. Knowing this, Satan said, “If you eat this, you will be like God.” We fell immediately. We thought it would be like that, but we became Nephilim. We thought we had gained power, but we were seized by Satan. We labored to the point of death, yet everything collapsed—Babel. This continues even now. We must come out from self.

Sometimes when I must make a critical decision, even though I already have the answers, I deliberately ask my assistants. Then surprising answers come. Some try not to speak if possible; some know even more than I do—so much that inwardly I am astonished. Even when I have the answers, I must not do as I please.

2) Frame – shamanism, divination, idols
Satan then began to destroy mankind directly with these—shamanism, divination, and idols. You must come out from there.

3) Snare – six destinies
You have been caught in the snare of six destinies. You must come out of that destiny and go to Christ—to the Triune God. Without doubt. Once you realize this, it is enough. Therefore, “Do not proclaim it yet; wait.”

2. We must come out from religion without the gospel.
If a church has no gospel, it is religion. We must come out of religion. I served seven churches and learned many things there. In my home church, we fought with incompetence. I resolved to come out of that incompetence. In many churches I saw humanism, fighting, and no evangelism. I resolved to come out of that grave. We must come out. Right? Absolutely.

3. We must come out from the antichrist. The true answer is that I am inside world evangelization.
Everything other than Christ is the antichrist. Certainly. You must come out from there. Therefore, do not proclaim it yet—wait. Come out from the place where you cannot evangelize, cannot do anything, and only eat until you die. If someone asks me, “What answer have you received?” I will answer boldly—and even ask in return. “Did you eat a lot and our organization grow?” That is not an answer. People are interested in such things, but that is not an answer. “I made a lot of money.” Is that any answer? Look at the Bible. If you do not know world evangelization, He sends you into slavery. He wipes out your posterity and sends them into captivity. Right? That is the Bible’s instruction. Only when I am inside world evangelization is it that I am receiving answers.

▣ Main: Do not tell anyone yet – the true answer to receive

Do not tell anyone yet—because there are three true answers to receive regarding this.

1. Because much persecution remains, prepare and wait.
First: Because much persecution remains, prepare and wait. Right?

1) The crucifixion of Jesus – Do not be afraid; prepare the true thing.
Afterwards, Jesus was crucified. Chaos erupted. All were deceived. When He was crucified, all fled. Even those who had nearly died and lived fled. Those who saw the miracle of the five loaves and two fish and said to Jesus, “You are a King higher than any king,” all fled. Therefore, do not be afraid; prepare the true thing. It is not the time to speak now.
2) The persecution by the Jews
Persecution began from the Jews and even the Gentile nations.
3) The persecution by Rome
Rome’s persecution began in earnest. If you do not know this, you will be flustered. Not for a year or two, nor even for three days; Rome attacked for hundreds—two hundred fifty—years. Those who held this covenant began to enjoy answers. This is important.

※ We must see God’s answer in every matter and event. That is prayer and the fulfillment of the Word.

Therefore, you must be able to see God’s answer in every matter and event. That is prayer; that is the fulfillment of the Word. Because much persecution remains, this is not the time to go out, nor the time to speak—prepare.

2. The true answer remains.
Second: The true answer remains—so do not go out now; wait. What is the true answer? You will come to realize it.

1) Enjoy Christ, the true priest, true prophet, and true king.
(1) True priest – disasters x
“Christ” means the true priest who removed disasters.

(2) True prophet – the way to meet God
We cannot meet God. “Christ” means the true prophet who becomes the way for us to meet God.

(3) True king – He conquered Satan
We cannot overcome disaster or Satan. He is the true king who conquered Satan. This must be restored and enjoyed going forward. You must enjoy this.

2) The Christ prophesized
(1) Genesis 3:15 – The offspring of the woman will crush the authority of Satan.
“The offspring of the woman will bruise the serpent’s head.” Satan is not a being that “dies”; Christ will break Satan’s authority. These blessings remain. New believers, do not be shaken—hold the covenant firmly.

(2) Exodus 3:18 – On the day the blood of the lamb is applied, there will be freedom.
On the day the blood of the lamb is applied, there will be freedom. This is no ordinary statement. The movement of life is possible only by life. Satan does not fear people. He does not fear your skill. He fears the covenant of Christ—Christ Himself. Because the covenant of the blood of Christ utterly breaks the darkness, its fulfillment still remains—now, experience it.

(3) Isaiah 7:14 – Immanuel
Because of many religionists, they again went into captivity. Right? Because the church lost hold of this important truth, they went into captivity. I see that it is being lost now as well. That is why I resolved in my heart that we must evangelize. It is being lost. At that time, again God said, “A virgin will conceive and bear a son, and you shall call His name Immanuel.” That was the Word given then.

(4) Matthew 16:16 – Christ
And right before destruction, Jesus asked, “Who do you say that I am? Who do people say that I am?” They all answered wrongly. Then Peter confessed, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

3) The perfection of Christ
And there is more remaining: the perfection of Christ. Many have not yet realized this.
(1) Christ before eternity
What happens when you call on that name? He is Christ before eternity. If you do not understand this, nothing is solved. The Jews did not understand. When He said, “I was with God before eternity,” they said, “Huh? What are you saying?” They were not spiritual leaders but like kindergarteners. “Your most revered ancestor Abraham believed in Me and was saved.” What did they say? “How old are You?” This conversation does not connect. This name was prophesied before the ages—before eternity. Right?

(2) The incarnated Christ
As promised, He came in a human body. Why? Because He had to save mankind. That is the incarnated Christ. It was prophesied.

(3) The resurrected Christ – when you pray in that name, works arise
There must be proof. He must die on the cross and rise again. Therefore Paul said, “He died according to the Scriptures and rose according to the Scriptures.” There is nothing more to say. Even now, when you pray in that name, works arise. Satan is bound.

(4) Christ, who will stand as the coming Lord – our future
It does not end there. Christ will stand as the coming Lord—our future.

(5) Christ, who will stand as the Judge – eternity (hell, heaven)
Christ will stand as the Judge—our eternity. Those who go to hell live with hell as their background even while living; “Believe in Jesus and go to heaven” is not wrong, but such words alone cannot save people. Before going to heaven—before dying—we now enjoy the background of the throne. Right? And before going to hell, they are already enjoying the background of hell; of course they go to hell, since they did not believe in God. We often try to understand these things wrongly. “Christ who will stand as the Judge” means Christ who gives the eternal answer.

People also speak strangely about the coming Lord. They say He will suddenly appear after no news at all. Not so. He is always with us from the throne; and then He will stand as the coming Lord. Such tremendous blessings still remain. You do not need to speak yet. You do not need to be discouraged. Because your promise will be fulfilled by God, you must hold to it without being swayed by human words.

3. The true blessing remains.
He spoke certainly of the remaining true blessing as the third point.

1) The blessing spoken after Peter’s confession
What is it?
(1) Rock
“You are rock.” That is, not sand—rock. A house must be built on rock. Our parsonage at Deokpyeong is filling with water; it was built on sand, so it keeps sinking, and one side is slanting. I said, “Call the builder.” They said he has died. I see. If you build on sand, it all collapses. You must build on rock. And, “On this rock I will build My church.” Do you know what the church is? “On this rock I will build My church.”

(2) Authority
He gave an even more important word: authority. “The powers of darkness will never overcome you.” That settles it, right? You must know this: the powers of darkness will never overcome you.

(3) Keys of heaven
And, “I give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.” Of course, this includes disciplinary authority. But it is the key that opens the gate of heaven. I will give this. Christ promised it. So whether things seem to be going well or not is not the issue right now. The word is this: “The remaining blessing is tremendous, so do not speak yet.” It does not mean never speak—because the true answer still remains.

2) A tremendous mission remains.
(1) Peter’s mistakes – the Mount of Transfiguration; when Jesus was arrested

Peter made two mistakes. Even after hearing this confession and receiving this blessing, when he went up the Mount of Transfiguration and saw Elijah, Moses, and Christ, he said he would build three shelters. Right? That much is fine. But he made another mistake. One day, a sudden incident occurred—terrifying. They brutally bound and arrested Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the King of kings. Then Peter made another mistake. He became afraid; he panicked; he could not follow close to Jesus but followed from afar. They asked, “This man was with that Jesus as His disciple, wasn’t he?” He said, “No.” A servant girl said, “It’s him,” and he said, “I am not.” That is what Peter did.

(2) Salvation does not change. By God’s grace, he was saved to save many.
Those who are saved do not lose it. Jesus came to find such a Peter. Do not be deceived. Salvation is not given and taken away by calculation. You were not saved because you are so great. By God’s grace you were saved—to save many. Right? Because the world of darkness must be saved. Even though Peter made enormous mistakes, his salvation did not change.

(3) “Do you love Me? Feed My lambs.”
Jesus came to Peter. He did not ask anything else. He asked, “Do you love Me?” It was the same question. Peter answered the same way—he said he loved Him. When He asked the third time, Peter replied, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Then again Jesus said, “Feed My lambs.” A tremendous mission still remains.

3) The bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne – watchman
After that, Christ Himself promised. From now on, the timetable to proclaim the gospel in earnest has come. “You will establish the bartizan of the throne.” This was the final word. “You will go the journey of the throne. Here and there, you will set up the guideposts of the throne.” Is this not certain? It was fulfilled exactly so. The difficulties you have now are not a big problem.
He has given us an even greater mission. Why speak of bartizan, journey, and guidepost? “You are a watchman. You are the watchman to guard your family line and your nation. I have called you to transmit this light.” Right?

▣ Conclusion: Do not be deceived
We keep being deceived—again and again.

1. Do not be deceived by yourself.
We are deceived by ourselves. “I am a great figure”—that is deception. “Do you know who I am?”—that is deception. “I cannot do it”—also deception. Right? We are deceived by ourselves. When you quietly look at your situation, it seems impossible—so you are deceived. Or it looks as if I have done something great—again deception.

2. Do not be deceived in the face of reality.
And what else? We keep being deceived before reality. The time of worship now is the highest time—yet we are deceived again. I have confessed many times, but I especially plead with you who must receive answers—remnants: I passed through six churches; the seventh church I came to is our church. Thankfully, I met you who evangelize. In previous churches, they closed their ears, because they must not hear it—they spent 24 hours speaking only things that can never accomplish God’s work. So I was said to “not talk much” and to be “proud,” but I am a person who talks a lot. I am not proud. I am a kind and gentle person. People are mistaken. They say I am diligent. I am not. I like to relax; I like to go around—it gives me grace. But we must do what is necessary. I do not tell you to work hard; I tell you to do what is necessary. Right? Church leaders and all middle-serving officers, in the remaining years you must concentrate. They are not long. What remains is shorter than what you have lived; time passes quickly. Now you must concentrate. Therefore, do not be deceived.

3. Do not be deceived by Satan.
In the end, do not be deceived by Satan.

I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that, through you, many nations trapped in darkness will rise. Let us pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. We thank You for calling us as God’s children. We thank You for leading us to enjoy the gospel accurately. Let the evangelism movement that saves people arise in the remaining years of our lives. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Greatest Opportunity Given By God – Multi-ethnic Missions

2025.09.07 Sunday 2nd Service
Scripture Reading: Acts 8:26-40

Thank you. God gives us the greatest opportunity. This is multiethnic missions. We must know this reason. Even the new family members must know this reason for their life of faith to begin. And our long-standing church leaders must also know this reason to properly fulfill their mission. What is the reason? We all think we know. “Ah, it must be for world evangelization.” But there is a deeper reason. That is why Jesus, from the very beginning, emphasized a part that seemed impossible to understand.

▣ Introduction
[Matthew 6:10, 6:33, Matthew 10:7, Acts 1:3, Acts 19:8]
What did He emphasize? When they asked Him to teach them to pray, He said, “Pray for the Kingdom of God to come.” The disciples could not possibly understand what He meant. “What is He talking about?” So He emphasized it again: “Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” We must understand these words, but the disciples did not. So in verse 32, He even told them, “You don’t need to ask for this or that like unbelievers do.” And later, when sending out His disciples, He said, “Evangelize.” And specifically, “Proclaim that the Kingdom of God has come near.” Then, for forty days before His ascension, He spoke to them for the last time. During those forty days, He explained about the Kingdom of God. But they did not understand the reason. No one could grasp it. Yet in Acts 19:8, we see that Paul understood it. Paul, it says, “spoke boldly” about the Kingdom of God — not merely explaining it lightly, but powerfully and courageously. Even though Jesus Himself had passionately explained it for forty days, Peter never preached about it this way. But Paul proclaimed it with great strength and urgency.

[The Last Days = A Battle Between Two Kingdoms]
From the ascension of Jesus to the day He returns — this period is called “the last days.” When we say “the end times are near,” it means we are nearing the completion of these last days. The term “last days” refers to the entire period between Christ’s resurrection and His second coming. During this entire period, an unceasing battle takes place between two kingdoms — even though most people don’t realize it. But when Christ returns, that will be the end. Until then, the battle between the two kingdoms continues relentlessly. That is why Paul called this a spiritual war. Even now, this battle is taking place. Those who know this receive answers even when they remain still. But those who don’t know this — no matter how hard they try — gain nothing; in fact, the more they try, the more they lose. This battle between the two kingdoms is still happening today. When you understand this, you will quickly realize, “Ah, this is missions!” Let us look closely at what kind of battle this is.

[Destruction (Deception)]
Right now, Satan continues to deceive humanity. He relentlessly drags people toward destruction. If you were to compare it to human terms, Satan is like a swindler — deceiving people and pulling them step by step toward destruction. When did this deception begin? From the very beginning — and it continues even now.

[3, 6, 11]
This begins in Genesis 3. In the Garden of Eden, the deception was: “You will be like God.” That’s the core. And pastors must especially be careful here. “If my ministry succeeds according to my plans, then I’m doing God’s work well” — is that really true? Elders, you must also beware: “If things are going well among us, then we must be doing well” — is that truly correct? Do you realize that this very mindset has caused divisions throughout churches worldwide? Do you know that this is Satan’s strategy? Yes, this is Satan’s scheme — making “me” the center. If salvation depended on me, we’d all fail. Even if you perfectly kept every law, you cannot be saved. That’s right — even if you kept them all, it wouldn’t work. Why? Because original sin would still remain unresolved. If salvation could come through the law, then there would have been no need for Christ to come. That’s how serious this is. Satan uses “me” — my pride, my desires — and leads us straight into destruction. That was the incident in Eden. And before we realize it, without thinking, we live guided by our feelings, our desires, and our possessions — and that leads us straight into becoming “Nephilim,” spiritually captured by Satan. This is how he deceives. It looks like power, doesn’t it? “See? Even without believing in God, people seem strong and successful.” They say, “Let’s build a tower, a city, and make our name great.” That was the Tower of Babel. And this continues even now. But everything built apart from God eventually collapses. This deception is still ongoing.

[13, 16, 19]
But when Satan fails to trap someone easily, he begins to rage violently. There are three stages here. People begin to groan, struggle, and thrash about — but we often mistake this for “effort.” We see someone suffering and say, “Oh, they’re really trying hard.” But no, this is not effort — it’s desperation. People are trapped in Genesis 3, 6, and 11, and they are simply groaning under that weight. And yet, we misinterpret their struggle as perseverance. This is what is recorded in Genesis 13, 16, and 19. These are the stages where people become ensnared by Satan, bound by fortune-telling, trapped in idol worship, and ultimately facing death. Eventually, after trying everything and failing, people simply give up.

[John 8:44, Exodus 20:3–5, Mark 5:1–10, Acts 8:4–8, Luke 16:19–31, Matthew 27:25]
At this point, people have entered the path of destruction. There are six key spiritual states here. First, we become powerless, completely dragged around by the devil. We are unable to resist. Over time, without even realizing it, people begin to worship Satan. Exodus 20:3–5 warns us of this. At first, it seems harmless — but then mental problems arise. Later, in Mark 5, we see a man who had completely lost his mind. It becomes uncontrollable. Stress builds up, and sickness follows. Acts 8:4–8 describes this vividly. This is how Satan establishes his kingdom. That is why Jesus so urgently explained the reality of God’s Kingdom. While we are living on earth, this is where the battle is. Once you leave this life, it’s over — the outcome is sealed. Salvation must be received while your soul is still in your body. Once your soul departs, there is no second chance. That’s why the body is so important. Even heavenly rewards are given only for what we have done while alive — there are no rewards after we leave this world. But there’s an even more shocking truth: even while alive, many people are already living in hell without realizing it. They haven’t reached eternal hell yet, but they are already under its background. They don’t even know heaven and hell exist; they think they’ll find out “once they get there.” That’s the deception. Life under this background is life in hell. Some people say, “If you believe in Jesus, you’ll go to heaven when you die.” That sounds correct, but it’s incomplete. The truth is: if you believe in Jesus, you become a child of God now — before death — and you begin to enjoy the background of the throne now. Then, when your body passes away, of course, you go to heaven. But without Christ, no matter how good someone seems, they are not a child of God — their background is hell, and their life is already one of spiritual suffering. When they die, they inevitably go to eternal destruction. And here’s the even more tragic part: Satan doesn’t just attack you; he targets your descendants too. This is certain. Do not be deceived. The spiritual problems you fail to resolve now will pass directly to the next generation. But if you break these chains, God will turn your life into a powerful platform and raise you as a great worker.

Continuing with the complete, faithful, line-by-line translation from where we left off — following all your instructions exactly.

[John 16:11–14, 2 Corinthians 4:4–5, Matthew 12:26–30, 43–45]
In John 16:11–14, it says that Satan holds us completely captive and reigns like a king over our lives. In 2 Corinthians 4:4–5, it says that Satan, though he is not God, blinds people’s minds and acts as though he were God. In Matthew 12:26–30, we see that Satan has completely built his house within us. Then, in verses 43–45, it says that when someone casts out demons through rituals, the house becomes “clean and empty,” but because it is empty, seven more evil spirits enter. That’s what Scripture says, and that’s exactly what happens. People think they’re free — but now seven more demons take control. Do you see what this means? This is how Satan fully captures people’s lives.

[Christ]
That is why God gave us His urgent covenant. There was absolutely no other way. Human effort could never solve this problem. There’s a hymn that says, “We cannot succeed even by crying, nor by patience.” That’s exactly right. No matter how hard you cry, you cannot overcome this. No matter how much you repent, you cannot escape the grip of Satan on your own. No matter how much strength you muster, you cannot defeat him. It is impossible. The solution is simple: believe. Believe this truth and it will be done. God, wanting to save us, sent Christ. And Christ came and gave this message. Why? Because this was the only way.

[The Throne, the Kingdom, the Work]
There is a reason Jesus gave us this message. He was showing us: “Your background is not hell — your background is the throne.” This reality is happening now. No matter how difficult your situation looks, you must not worry. This work is already taking place. No matter how amazing or capable a person may seem, if they are separated from God, they are still in Satan’s grip. And this reality is still unfolding today. This trap of destruction is being passed down even to our children. But the moment you receive salvation, the power of the throne begins to work within you. This is not just a theory — this is the only true solution. You must believe it.

Think about it: if a thief boards a pirate ship, no matter how “kind” he seems, he’s still a thief, isn’t he? In fact, a good-hearted thief working under a pirate captain is often even more dangerous. In the same way, we were on the wrong ship. That’s why God moved us. Scripture says, “You have crossed over from death to life.” This transfer has already happened. These two spiritual realities — destruction and salvation — are happening now. This is why the Bible says not to be discouraged. God is accomplishing His work right now. When we pray, the power of the throne works, and God’s Kingdom comes upon us. Through God’s Kingdom, His will is fulfilled. Believe this truth. Every blessing is contained in this reality.

[Bartizan, Journey, Guidepost]
So what must we do? From now on, the bartizan of the throne must become yours. The bartizan of the throne must be firmly established within you. Then, you will walk the journey of the throne. And along the way, you will set up the guideposts of the throne — powerful markers where the darkness will be broken.

[Watchmen]
That is why God has called you as watchmen. Without the bartizan, you cannot be a true watchman. Without it, you’re not guarding anything; you’re deceiving others — you’re like a swindler. Even if someone seems upright and admirable, if they are following Satan’s schemes, they’re deceived. But when you follow God’s works, you become a true watchman. This battle between the two kingdoms is urgent and happening now.

▣ Main Message — All Blessings
If you truly understand this, God gives you all blessings. It’s okay if they don’t come immediately. In fact, it’s better if they don’t. Think about today’s praise — how graceful and precious it was. I always say this: if we measured the true value of these choir members, we should pay them ten million won per month! That’s how valuable their praise is before God. And for the conductor? If we were to value their skill, we’d give them one hundred million won per month. But what would happen then? Fake conductors — real swindlers — would flock to the church for money. That’s why we don’t do that. The real servants of praise receive almost nothing, maybe just a little help for transportation, but nothing more. Why? Because they serve from the heart, offering their lives to God in true worship. That is why we must understand: quick answers are not always a blessing. If blessings come too fast, all the wrong people will come running — and the work of God will be hindered.

1. To Whom
God brings all blessings — but to whom? First, we must see who receives them.

[Those Who Block Disasters]
The blessings are given to those who will block disasters. Without them, there is nothing to carry forward. This is very clear.

[RT7]
Think of the seven remnants — RT7. How did God use them? Look at Joseph. Where is Joseph right now? It might sound extreme, but Joseph’s exact position determined God’s timetable for the entire world. Why? Because Joseph was the one who would block disasters. This is certain. Where David was positioned also mattered greatly. Without further explanation, you understand this: God gave all blessings to those who would block disasters.

2. What
Second, what exactly did God give? This is very important.

1) The Angel of the Lord (verse 26)
Today, a remarkable phrase appears: “The angel of the Lord.” God mobilizes His angels like this. In verse 26, it says, “The angel of the Lord…”

2) The Spirit of the Lord (verse 29)
The second phrase is in verse 29: “The Spirit of the Lord said to Philip…”

3) The Spirit of the Lord (verse 39)
And the third phrase appears in verse 39: “The Spirit of the Lord took Philip away.” Though the words sound similar, the context and the situation are different.

The angel of the Lord appeared and told Philip: “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. There you will meet an important Ethiopian official who came to Jerusalem to worship.” He wasn’t on a sightseeing trip — he came to worship and was returning home, reading the book of Isaiah. Imagine if the angel of the Lord spoke directly into your life today — what blessings would unfold! These blessings are happening right now, but so many people miss them. Don’t miss them.

Then, in verse 29, the Holy Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” Philip obeyed, approached, and asked: “Do you understand what you are reading?” The Ethiopian eunuch replied, “How can I, unless someone explains it to me?” So Philip explained the prophecy about Christ. After hearing, the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?” Notice: Philip didn’t tell him to be baptized — the eunuch himself asked for it. Then verse 39 says, “The Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again.” This shows us something important: your ministry has a beginning and an end, but its results are eternal. We must never forget this. All blessings are here.

3. When
Third, when does God fulfill this work?

[Slaves, Captives, Colonies]
Why did God allow His people to become slaves in powerful nations? Why did He allow them to be taken as captives and ruled as colonies? There is a reason.

1) 237
To prevent total destruction, God sent them into nations connected to the 237 nations of the world. And today, He calls us to reach all 237 nations.

2) 5000
God commands us to penetrate the 5000 tribes that are spiritually unreached. Among them are the remote islands of Oceania — miracles are waiting there. We must go into these unreached fields.

3) TCK, CCK, NCK
And we must find the abandoned remnants there — the TCKs, the remnants trapped in cultures of darkness. There are still nations without written language. Some have no shoes, never brush their teeth, live in extreme poverty, and are completely outside the global cultural flow. Yet God is calling us to them. Those who go will surely see God’s works.

▣ Conclusion — [Preparation]
Therefore, we must prepare sincerely. What preparation?

1. A Place of Rest for the Sick and Weary
We must build a proper system inside the church where spiritually sick people can come and find healing. A place where they can pray alone, receive personal counseling, and rest. It doesn’t require much — just a quiet space, even a single small room. Right now, remnants have nowhere to rest. We must create such spaces. This isn’t about facilities — it’s about spiritual eyes. Truly sick people have nowhere to turn for help, so they end up going to cults and heretical groups. Our focus shouldn’t be on criticizing those groups — we must make sure people don’t need to go there in the first place. Likewise, multiethnic families need a place where they can feel, “This is my home.” We must prepare such spaces.

2. Miracles
When we do this, we’ll witness miracles. Think about missions trips overseas: we go, we evangelize, and a disciple emerges. But then, to raise that disciple, we must invest years of training, eventually bring them to Korea, pay for their travel, teach them, and then send them back to their nations. That takes so much time, effort, and money. But today, God has already brought these multiethnic disciples to us. This itself is a miracle. But we must be careful: we must not teach them the wrong thing. If Philip had taught the Ethiopian eunuch the Law instead of Christ, he would have been cursed. Philip explained Christ — nothing else. The eunuch was baptized and returned to his nation, becoming an instrument of God’s work. That is a miracle.

3. One Person — One Nation
Those who came here are now returning to their nations and doing God’s work 100 times better than we could. I am constantly amazed. Those who went to Peru, Vanuatu, Bangladesh — they were here, and after understanding their mission, they are now powerfully evangelizing their countries. This is a miracle. In truth, even one person can change an entire nation. You — one person — can pray for one nation and see God’s works there.

We must understand why God brings all answers. Until Christ returns, the invisible battle between the two kingdoms will continue. We are in this battle. That is why your future generations must be equipped with spiritual strength. But many parents fail here — they give their children everything except spiritual power. And as a result, our children collapse under extreme pressure. Especially in competitive environments, children are being crushed. Some even lose their minds. There was a case where a son of a wealthy businessman completely broke down mentally, came here, and was healed. It’s not about blaming success; it’s about realizing what’s missing: spiritual strength. Without it, no amount of worldly success can save you.

That is why we must raise remnants who truly understand the gospel and live victoriously in prayer. And when multiethnic disciples come to us, we must help them discard all worldly motives and understand the true gospel. Like Obadiah in Scripture, when they return to their countries, they must return not just with “knowledge” but with spiritual power to save others. This is our mission: to save people, nations, and future generations. Without multiethnic missions, the world will fall into greater spiritual darkness.

Look at the physical world today — pollution, disease, and global crises spread everywhere. That’s serious, but far more serious is the spiritual pandemic spreading worldwide. There is only one cure: Christ. Darkness does not fear your strength. Satan is not intimidated by your skills. He laughs at your wealth. But Satan trembles before Christ alone. May you enter into this great blessing this week in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer. Father God, we give You praise. Allow us to triumph in the battle between the two kingdoms. Let Your Kingdom be established to save the entire world. Let Your Kingdom come upon our future generations. Let Your Kingdom be fulfilled among the multiethnic peoples. We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Believers Who Save the Servants of the Lord

2025.09.07 Sunday 1st Service
RTS Sunday
Scripture Reading: 1 Kings 18:1-15

▣ Introduction: First Receive Strength and Answers
Today is the day when we keep RTS Sunday across our nation and the world. As I prepared the message, I especially thought, “Today is the day to receive double economic blessing.” I always prepare my offering in advance, so since we need to give to our church and also to RTS, we receive double blessing. Now, we should of course pray for RTS today, but first you must obtain that strength. While we live, there are times when we face very great difficulties.

In today’s text, such a thing had never happened in history. King Ahab kept 850 false prophets of Baal and Asherah right in the royal palace. That alone would have been bad enough, but he actually killed the true prophets with the sword. What should we do at such a time? No one could defeat the king or resolve this difficult problem.
The figures who appear then are Elijah and Elisha, but the even more important figure is the church leader Obadiah. Obadiah made a critical decision. But how could he do this? What is the answer you must firmly hold today? It is not most important to ask what the crisis is and what we should do.

1. Obadiah, who possessed the secret of prayer called 24, 25, and eternity
Obadiah possessed the secret of prayer called 24, 25, and eternity. Today you must surely hold to this. Those who have received the answer of God’s power need nothing else. Problems, conflicts, crises—they are not fearful.

1) David
Let me mention just one remnant as an example. David, from his youth, already had the ability to enjoy God’s answers. You must pray for this today. Because he had this power, nothing became a problem.

2) Hebrews chapter 11
Hebrews chapter 11 gathers only people of faith. Verse 38 records this: “People of whom the world was not worthy.” They are not afraid.

3) Paul
Especially someone like Paul—what came before evangelism? “Pray in the Spirit on all occasions.” In 2 Corinthians chapter 12 he says, “Whether I was in the body or out of the body I do not know,” indicating how deeply he entered into the power of prayer. You must surely discover this.

2. The answer Obadiah received – 300%
To put it simply, Obadiah, a church leader, first received two kinds of answers to save the ministers.

1) A person prepared 300% as a disciple of evangelism
He was Elijah’s disciple of evangelism who served God. As I put it, he was prepared 300% as a disciple of evangelism.

2) A person prepared 300% as a servant to the king
Another thing: he was a servant of Ahab. Remarkable, isn’t it? Elijah and Ahab were enemies—sworn enemies. Obadiah was a person who received 300% of the answer as a court servant. This is the key. This is the key you and the remnants must hold today. He was Elijah’s disciple—and at the same time a servant trusted by the king. Does nothing come to mind? Elijah and Ahab were enemies. Here an important matter arises with Obadiah. Today you must pray, “Grant me the power and answer to accomplish world evangelization and to save the world.” Nothing else will do.
When David received answers, no problem troubled him. In Israel’s history the greatest problem came, and Obadiah stepped forward to resolve it. He risked his life to save the ministers. He was a person prepared 300% as a disciple of evangelism, and 300% as a servant.

3) 300% – Filled with the Holy Spirit
I always emphasize this: What is 300%?

(1) Me 100% prepared
It means that what God has given concerning me is prepared 100%.

(2) The field 100% prepared
The field is prepared 100%. Isn’t that right?

(3) The future 100% prepared
The future is prepared 100%. If you cannot find this, it is a serious matter. You will not accomplish world evangelization. You might barely manage to get by, but is that God’s will? No. All remnants and church leaders must firmly hold the covenant. Seeing that 300% power, I am convinced this is being filled with the Holy Spirit. That is the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Therefore Obadiah held this covenant exactly.

▣ Main Message: Obadiah Who Enjoyed Three Things in the Age of Crisis
1. The hidden provider for 100 disciples
In this age of crisis he enjoyed something important—first, he was the hidden provider who concealed and raised 100 disciples. Isn’t that amazing? He hid 100 prophets whom the king had ordered to be killed.

1) The servant most trusted by Elijah and most needed by the king
How is this possible? He was the most faithful disciple to Elijah and the most needed servant to the king. This is the answer. To our young adults and remnants: when you go out, don’t say, “People ignore me; at the company they…” Don’t say you’re upset. It means I am not necessary. Isn’t that so? Get a grip. If people say I am not needed, who is wrong? Not those people—I am. The more wicked people are, the more they like those who are necessary. You must hold this firmly. In Ahab’s eyes, Obadiah was an extremely necessary servant. Do you think Ahab truly didn’t know that Obadiah had hidden 100 prophets? I think he knew. How could he not? Yet Ahab did not kill Obadiah. And Obadiah was Elijah’s most trusted disciple. This is the one who hid the 100. What happened then?

2) The intermediary role in the Mount Carmel incident
The Mount Carmel incident broke out. As the provider who hid the 100 disciples, he then played the intermediary role when the Carmel event erupted. What was it? Elijah asked Obadiah: “Tell King Ahab. Do all the go-between work.” Why? Because he was the one who could. “Tell him that we will hold a spiritual battle on Mount Carmel with the 850 false prophets to see who is true.” Then Obadiah said, “Are you trying to have me killed? If Ahab finds out I hid 100 prophets, I will die; and now you want me to say this too?” Elijah spoke with assurance: “The king will see me. Go and tell him.” Think about the situation.

Obadiah went and told him: “Let’s have a spiritual contest on Mount Carmel to determine whether the prophets of Baal and Asherah are true or the faith in the LORD is true.” Who told the king? Obadiah did. And King Ahab said, “Okay.”

3) Complete victory in spiritual warfare
Thus a tremendous spiritual battle took place on Mount Carmel. They won a complete victory. All the false prophets were executed. The forces of darkness were utterly broken. Because of one man, Obadiah, who knew what the ministers of the LORD must do, such things happened.

2. The hidden supporter of the 7,000 disciples
Second, Obadiah was the hidden backer of the 7,000 disciples. He had already served as the provider of the 100; now he stood behind and supported the far greater number—the 7,000. At this time the evidence of Mount Horeb arose.

1) When Elijah, who faced the crisis of death, collapsed under the broom tree
After defeating the false prophets, the palace should have surrendered—but Jezebel said, “Kill Elijah.” “Kill Elijah at once.” In his urgency Elijah fled. He fled without eating or sleeping. As you know, exhausted, he collapsed under a broom tree. Then he prayed honestly: “God, I can’t do this anymore. Everyone has forsaken You, and I alone am left. I am going to die. Just take me.” That was Elijah’s prayer. Then God sent His angel to touch Elijah, heal him, and give him food.

2) The Word given at Mount Horeb
Receiving that strength, Elijah traveled not just forty days but forty days and nights to Mount Horeb. There God spoke: “I have 7,000 disciples besides you. Raise up Elisha. Appoint him as your successor. Do not worry. I will replace King Ahab.” God said He would change him. Such an astounding work began again at Mount Horeb.

3) Obadiah, the hidden supporter
Who was the hidden backer and supporter in all this? It was Obadiah. This does not mean you must do many things. If you receive the strength God gives, you can do what is needed. You must hold that covenant.
The God who was with Obadiah is with you; hold that covenant now. However much other theories are attempted, they are wrong. You must hold the covenant accurately. If you receive the strength God gives, you can save the church. Only the strength God gives can save my family line. RU and RTS, and RTS throughout the world, can be raised. This is what is being made known now.
From this point, other works began to arise. To what extent did Obadiah receive answers? He was not merely the provider for 100; he was the backer of the 7,000. This is the answer you must surely hold.

3. The disciple who mobilized the heavenly army
Third, he was the disciple who mobilized the heavenly army. Where? In the city of Dothan. The connection extends even to this. This is now beyond the 7,000; countless disciples and the heavenly armies are mobilized.

1) Elisha, who from the beginning received this power of God as his heavenly mandate
Elisha from the beginning received this power of God as his calling and heavenly mandate.

(1) Setting out to follow Elijah, abandoning everything at the greatest crisis
At the greatest crisis, when Elijah called him, he abandoned everything without condition and followed. It was his heavenly mandate.

(2) Elisha, who without calculating followed to the end and sought a double portion of the spirit
Others calculated—how to eat, how to live—but not Elisha. He followed to the end, even to the Jordan. What did he say? “Grant me a double portion of your spirit.” That is what must be asked.

(3) Elisha, who initiated the Dothan movement
Such an Elisha finally initiated the Dothan movement.

2) The prayer power Elisha possessed
What happened? To what extent did Elisha have the power of prayer? He knew where the Aramean army was coming and going. In such matters there was a backer—Obadiah.
The king of Aram said, “It seems there is a spy among us. Wherever our army goes, the Israelite army lies in wait and strikes us. What is this?” Then one wise servant said, “No, it is because of the prophet named Elisha. He is a man of much prayer and knows all our movements. We must eliminate Elisha.” So the king of Aram ordered, not “Kill Elisha,” but “Capture Elisha alive and bring him.” Since the king commanded, and Aram was a great nation, armies came and surrounded the city to seize Elisha.
But in that city, a great number of disciples had gathered and were praying. Scripture records: “Those who were with us—the heavenly hosts—were far more than the Aramean army.” The servant whose eyes were darkened cried, “Master, we are in great trouble! The Aramean army has surrounded us.” Elisha said, “O LORD, open this servant’s eyes.” These are different eyes. When his spiritual eyes were opened, heavenly armies surrounded the Arameans on the outside. To the extent of Elisha’s power, he prayed, “Strike the Aramean army with blindness.” And they were all struck with blindness. Leading those blinded soldiers, they were brought along, thinking, “We are doomed.”
What happened? The king of Israel asked Elisha—note, in the past King Ahab killed prophets, but now this king called Elisha “My father.” He asked, “My father, what shall we do with these troops? Shall we strike off their heads and send them back?” Elisha said no. They set before them good food and held a feast. What do you think happened? “O LORD, open the eyes of the Aramean army.” Their eyes were opened—and a banquet had been prepared in abundance. Do you think they would attack again easily? Scripture records, “The Aramean raiders did not come into the land of Israel again.”

3) The devotion of one believer who knows God’s power completely saved the age.
The devotion of one believer who knows God’s power completely saved the age.
There is no time. You must make a decision today. Students, if you go out without this power, you will struggle all your life. Do not be deceived. Do not be deceived by people’s words. Hold to God’s Word. Truly. I have seen many: believers who are utterly pressed by poverty, people who cannot even maintain themselves. What is evangelism? There are so many who cannot even sustain themselves. This must change quickly. Young adults must make a decision now. If you do not decide now, you will cause your descendants to suffer even after you marry. Decide now. There is no excuse. Because Obadiah possessed this power, it was not only 100 or 7,000—there arose a work that saved the whole Aramean nation. You must make this decision. Therefore we must raise RTS throughout our nation and the world to produce such disciples and ministers who know God’s power.

▣ Conclusion: Resolution
1. Hold to the covenant
We have an RTS team meeting at 1:30 today; I plan to speak then. I have seen since I was young: it is not otherwise. We can save the world by God’s power. Hold this firmly as your covenant today.

2. Resolve.
So you must decide. What do I mean?

1) Grant us the strength to see God’s power within events.
“Grant us the strength to see God’s power within events.”
2) Let us not miss the age, like Obadiah.
“Let us not miss the age, like Obadiah.” We must pray this.
3) Grant us the strength to win without fighting.
To the point that Elisha knew even where the Aramean army was coming. Without fighting, they simply toyed with them. Win without fighting. “Grant us this strength.”

3. Be resolved and pray
I prayed with resolve. I had seen the adults. Having seen once is enough. I saw the adults and was convinced it could not be otherwise. I always say this: I passed through six places. It was not otherwise. The seventh church is our Immanuel Church—Busan and Seoul here. Without God’s true power, it cannot be done. World evangelization cannot be done. What is world evangelization? People say, “I can barely survive.” This must change quickly. You must pray this week: “God, grant me power sufficient to raise RTS disciples across the nation and the world.” That is God’s will.

1) The church leader who helped Martin Luther
Let me give just one example. One church leader staked his life to save the minister in this age of crisis. This changed the world. Who was it? The church leader who helped Martin Luther. It is tremendous. When I see that, I see that history was transformed.

2) The Australian believers who helped Missionary Mackenzie
Another miracle occurred. A man named Mackenzie first went to Vanuatu as a missionary. He became ill. Understandable. He fell ill in Vanuatu, but there were people who did not abandon him and helped Missionary Mackenzie. Where did he come? He came to Korea—to Busan, no less—and again became ill. Ordinary laypeople, church leaders, would have abandoned a person so ill. But they helped him again. Later, even when he could no longer work, they still helped him. Do you understand? Many of you would have recommended that he resign. His daughter came instead. Those daughters, seeing how poor Korea was—women dying in childbirth—first established a hospital to help them. At that time they had no means, so they went to the U.S. military base, obtained surplus beds, and outfitted the hospital. I began to attend church there, and now it is connected to Vanuatu. Do you know what that place is? It is a gate to the 5,000 tribes. Ah—how wondrously God works. Those Australian believers who helped a few ministers—these people turned the world upside down.

3) Our prayer
You must know that value. And without any other reason, you must hold the promise of the power God gives. “In the remaining years of my life, let me raise many seminary students among the many of the next generation who will correctly proclaim the gospel and send them into the world.” You must pray this. “Thus let us experience God’s power.” There is no other way. “Let us experience God’s invisible power. Now mobilize the heavenly army that You sent to Elisha.” This is our prayer. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today will be a day of great answers.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Grant us the ability to raise seminary students; grant us the ability to revive RTS; grant us the ability to restore and raise the RTS movement throughout the world. Let today be the start. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Construct A New Temple

2025.08.31 Sunday 2nd Service
Church Construction Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: Haggai 2:6-9

We must carry the secret of continually enjoying answers through the Word. The person who did this best was David. Because the temple David prepared was destroyed, God commanded that the temple be rebuilt.

[Word (watchtower)]
What you must never miss on Sunday is this: always hold to the Word living and working. This has existed from of old. We call this the watchtower.

[Prayer (journey)]
And prayer must actually be living and working. Only then can you go on the journey.

[Evidence (landmarks)]
And real answers actually took place. Real evidences arose. These are landmarks. David was the one who enjoyed this best. Then, as you continue this covenant, what answers arise?

[Triune God, darkness, the Kingdom]
At such times, the Triune God surely works invisibly—now. When you hold to this covenant, darkness is broken even before you go anywhere. If you know this, you cannot help but pray. Those who don’t know this find prayer very difficult. At such times the Kingdom of God and its works are surely fulfilled. In fact, this is what Jesus taught: “Pray for God’s Kingdom to come—don’t do other things. When darkness is bound, the Kingdom of God has come.”

[Lifetime prayer topic]
At such times, your lifelong prayer topics and answers become connected. So what naturally came out for David was temple construction.

“Build a New Temple” (Haggai 2:6–9)
Since the temple was gone, build a new one. We read Haggai 2:6–9 today. When we receive God’s Word and read the Bible, the greatest caution is that we tend to interpret with our heads, and that feels understandable—that’s the mistake. The Israelites had not even returned yet—only just starting to come out—yet God said, “Build the temple first.” Even when they came out of Egypt, before they had even arrived, He said, “Bring out all you have and make the tabernacle.” It doesn’t make sense, does it? Because it doesn’t make sense, people do not believe. And if it did make sense, it wouldn’t be God’s Word. To the fleeing Early Church He said, “Do world evangelization.” Which proved right in the end? God’s Word did. So when we view this covenant—building the new temple from now—the answers David had are even more important.

You, too, must start like this now. Today some of you worship briefly here and go; some worship all day; and some don’t come to the sanctuary at all. What must those who worship all day hold to? These three must be confirmed (Word/watchtower, evidence/landmarks, prayer/journey). If you just look at the flow, you can grasp exactly where you are now. When this continues, your lifelong matters become visible. And, between these two sides, what is happening now is this (Triune God, darkness, Kingdom). It’s tremendous. Because I believe that for certain, I think, “Nothing else is needed. No need to use humanism—just pray.” What do I mean will happen? World evangelization. If world evangelization does not happen, it is not an answer. Eating a lot? You can go to a restaurant and eat a lot—how is that an answer? Earning lots of money? Conglomerates make lots of money; how many receive disaster with their money—how is that an answer? Through you, darkness must be broken and world evangelization must arise—that is an answer.

Many churches are closing and wandering now. I believe that is wrong. European churches have closed; young people are caught in drugs and wholly in homosexuality. I consider that a curse. In many advanced countries, churches are shaken and closing en masse; with so many closing, mental illness is spreading. Failing to block that is the greatest sin and curse. If your studies are used for world evangelization, there is no greater blessing, right? For our church officers, many professionals, and remnants—if your work is used for world evangelization, there is no greater blessing.

▣ Introduction: Causes of the temple’s destruction
We must know the causes of the temple’s destruction. There are several.

  1. Solomon
First, it began with Solomon. When the temple was properly built, doors to the whole world opened—but they didn’t know why. If you truly build the temple God desires, all the doors of the world open. To what extent? The kings of the world considered it their wish to meet Israel’s king. That’s how it was. Chief among their interests was to see the new temple. Those who don’t understand these answers (above) fall into confusion—so many people coming. Thus Solomon made a mistake: he summoned and linked global talents. He brought in men and women—many talents—by the thousands into the royal court.

Solomon thought he had achieved great success. He didn’t realize this blessing was because of the temple; he thought he had tremendous wisdom. His later regret appears in Ecclesiastes. But in reality, he did wield such power. The foreign talents asked Solomon, “We’re so bored and weary. The kings ordered us here, but we’re struggling—we can’t even get around. We have a request: allow us to serve the gods we serve.” At their earnest plea, Solomon made a mistake, thinking it reasonable: “Right, you must be bored—okay.” Especially in Jerusalem, idols spread over the whole city. Then the nation split.

This was the starting point of the temple problem. You must know what the temple is, that we must build it, and what answers we should receive—know the roots well.

  1. Hezekiah
Second, because of King Hezekiah. He was remarkable. As soon as he became king he contacted Assyria: “We can’t send tribute anymore. My father sent it, but why must we pay you? You are your nation; we are ours. We will not send it.” A bold king. Mighty Assyria replied, “Fine—wait,” and marched with 185,000 troops. Hezekiah defeated them—by prayer, to summarize. The whole world was abuzz: “How did they defeat Assyria?” Later he fell ill but again overcame by prayer. He is one of the three good kings—David, Hezekiah, Josiah.

One day there was a banquet in the palace—like today’s summit meeting of world presidents. They gathered in Israel to congratulate Hezekiah. Many asked, “How did you defeat Assyria? And how did you overcome your illness?” At that moment, the faithful Hezekiah made a mistake. He should have said, “By the Lord God’s grace I prevailed.” Instead, he gave them an exact tour of the palace—then the temple: “This is our temple,” showing it off. Worse, he showed the royal treasury (the private storehouses). People easily become like that—“This is who I am.” Among the guests, a Babylonian strategist thought, “This is tremendous. I will one day take it.” With time, they invaded, took all the sacred articles, burned the temple—everything.

Those are distant causes.

  1. The three courts – the three feasts
The real cause? The three courts and the three feasts disappeared. World missions stalled; they could not preach the gospel to the nations; they could not heal the sick. God naturally removed it. So around 600–580 B.C. (various datings), they wiped out the temple. They took all the talented people into captivity—leaving those of little value. The smart ones were summoned to the palace—that’s Daniel. As we saw in the first service today, someone like Ezekiel was not in the palace but dragged to the field. This is the temple issue. Please hold this in your heart and pray. However you may think, those small works among the multiethnic now will later be tied to eternal blessing—you will see later.

▣ Main
What kind of new temple should be built? Since we must pray over this during the week, briefly:

  1. David’s temple
Build the temple David received by covenant.

1) The ark of the covenant
Restore the temple that housed the ark David so longed for.

2) Most Holy Place and Holy Place
Restore the temple that had the Most Holy Place and the Holy Place.

3) Tabernacle-centered, tent of meeting–centered, tent-centered
In the wilderness before David, they lived wholly tabernacle-centered. And what they did most was worship. Yet their wisdom was the greatest in the world. The most sacrificial offerings were given there. And they seized the economy. As people gathered, it became tent-of-meeting–centered. More: the doorways of every house were oriented toward the tabernacle. Tents, too. Restore this.

  1. A temple for all peoples
Second, rebuild a temple that will save all peoples. It’s simple—mentioned earlier.

1) The era of the three courts
These three courts—saving the nations, the children, and the sick—were crucial. Not just that: open the era of the three courts. Such a time had not existed—therefore, open it.

2) The fire of 24, the Fri–Sat–Sun era
Light the fire of 24. What is that? The Friday–Saturday–Sunday era. Light the fire.

3) The era of meditation, the blood sacrifice
Truly open the era of meditation that will save the world. Here a very important term appears: consider most important the offering of the blood sacrifice.

Try it. Many still don’t understand. Many pastors scoff: “We know the gospel too—what more?” It’s not “knowing” the gospel. This is enormous. Without this, you cannot overcome the absolute disaster. Through your prayers, much labor has been given in our Immanuel Seoul Church this year. Works are unfolding where darkness over the 5,000 people groups is being broken through the multiethnic.

  1. The future temple
Rebuild the temple that will save the future. Why?

1) A temple that will block disaster
Prepare a temple that will block worldwide disasters. Even your small work is a ministry that blocks disaster. Hold it spiritually, powerfully, and remember. Pastors nationwide—when you go to preach, you don’t need to preach my sermons or invert previous messages. Proclaim the Word that blocks disaster, which God is fulfilling. A pastor who “preaches well” is not what’s good. What is “well”? Crafting words? That’s bad. Whether they understand or not, deliver the most important things of God’s Word. We must block disaster. As I carry on this covenant, even writing one song a year is hard. But praying much over it—I wondered, “Can this be done, being so hard?” Yet, “That’s your thought—do it by the covenant.” Right? It remains in history. A temple to block disaster.

2) 237–5000
A temple that will save 237 nations and 5,000 people groups.

3) RT
A temple to save remnants—especially TCKs who have lost their way; CCKs living in a darkness culture where the gospel is not heard at all; and even children with no culture at all—NCKs.

I say this with apology, but some lively children came, and they brushed their teeth for the first time in their lives here. Imagine the environment—yet that was one of the better places. Those who came didn’t even know where or how they were sick. They came to attend a conference, and we were led by the Spirit to have them get comprehensive medical checks—everyone had illness. A former president came near death and left alive. We didn’t try to do anything special; simply, love looked after them. Simon has come back to life three times. He even asked to take me as his elder brother—fine. There are many such cases.

We haven’t done anything “well.” By the conscience of faith, if it is the gospel, then we must see the gospel go into them. It’s not about us or our church doing well. Now that these many multiethnic people have come here by such an opportunity, we must help them hear the gospel, be trained, and go to evangelize.

▣ Conclusion
What does the conclusion say? “Thus says the LORD: I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land. It is the word of the LORD.”

  1. Heaven-and-earth upheaval
“Heavens and earth” simply put means a cosmic upheaval. This gospel will truly shake heaven and earth.
  2. Shaking of the nations
And, “I will shake all nations.” Not only the land.
  3. Glory
More importantly, “The latter glory will be greater than the former.” That is the promise.

Now, holding to this (above) covenant, you must surely seize lifelong answers this time. You must experience at least once what the power of the Word is. You must confirm how the work of the Word moves your business and your studies. Even now when I think of it, I can hardly understand how God’s Word would work like this. “Ah, it works like this.” I’m thinking we must organize it well and pass it to the next generation.

You must make one resolution to restore such important things. From the beginning until now I have been the same: “What cannot evangelize, poverty, ignorance, sickness, and incompetence—we will change that.” I resolved that. Those new to faith and those alone in faith—resolve to completely change your family line before our next generation. If my work and industry cannot be used for world evangelization, then change it. Change it. When many ministers hold to this covenant, figures begin to arise. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that this answer will continue throughout this week. Let us pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Grant new grace this week. Give new strength to all who attend worship. Bestow special grace on those who are sick and cannot attend. Work with the power of the heavenly throne for remnants scattered across the world. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Believers Called To Prophesy

2025.08.31 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Ezekiel 37:1-10

▣ Introduction_ The reason for and answer to suffering (captivity)

There was a very large, wealthy household that had built a fine house. I went to visit, and on the way from the first floor to the second, there was a painting hanging there. I wondered what it was and saw a large ship in a storm, holding out so as not to capsize. Why would they hang that picture? It could mean, “This is so hard.” Or it could mean, “Even in such trials, we will overcome.” It is true that there is great difficulty. Before he died, Napoleon said on an island, “That water out there—the ocean—is the tears shed by humanity.” He also said, “That wind blowing from behind the mountains is the sound of the sighs of humanity.” He meant, “It is painful.” We, in every era, in every nation, and every person, are in such suffering. Therefore, there is no need to be flustered. Nor should we be afraid. Nor should we be careless. We must not fear the world, but we are not afraid. In such a world, you never know where a problem will arise. You never know in which nation a war will break out. You never know what disease may spread and take lives. Israel, who should have been blessed, became captives again. God’s Word clearly gives an important answer here. It explains why this happened.

1. Isaiah
Isaiah explains it this way.

1) Reason
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” What does that mean? It means mankind left God. The beginning of humanity’s greatest curse is not knowing God. We are not beasts; we ought to know God, but we left Him. In other words, life became unrelated to God.

2) Answer
Therefore, He promised to send the Christ, the One who solves all problems, and to give the blessing of Immanuel. This is recorded in Isaiah 7:14.

2. Jeremiah
Jeremiah says this—also about the Babylonian captivity. Why did such suffering come? “Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

3. Lamentations
And why must we pray?

(1) Reason
After Jeremiah comes the book of Lamentations. There, the true reasons are revealed. Why did this happen? “If the Ethiopian’s skin does not change and the leopard’s spots do not change, why has this changed?” While lamenting, it puts it this way: “Our offspring were born, but there was no one to give them milk. Our little children’s tongues stuck to the roofs of their mouths. They were dying because they could not eat bread.”

(2) Answer
“Cry out to the LORD.” It explains this way. All of this is the Babylonian captivity disease.

4. Ezekiel
Today in Ezekiel we are given an important answer.

1) Reason
It is not merely that the next generation’s tongues stuck to the roofs of their mouths. How could the people of our God come to this? They became like dry bones—completely. They dried out and were scattered, unable to live. It became absolutely impossible.

2) Answer
Here He speaks of the secret to revive them. He tells the secret of turning Israel, who became dry bones, into a heavenly army. This is extremely important. In a sense, the book of Ezekiel could be considered a conclusion. If Isaiah is the introduction you must know from the beginning, Ezekiel is the conclusion: “Make you and the people of Israel into the army of heaven.” Not dead bones that have been utterly destroyed, but make them an army.

3) How
In this brief time today, how can we receive this answer? Whenever you worship, as we mentioned in the lesson, the living Word must seize you. If not, you will, in fact, never receive answers. Only then does prayer become living and active. Only then will the Word become living and active in your life, and that becomes evangelism and makes you a witness. You must be able to enjoy this throughout the six days. Then, when the Fri–Sat–Sun time comes and you hear the core message, something important emerges. You must keep enjoying these answers, but because that hasn’t been happening, God gave Ezekiel this important message today.

▣ Main Message_ Three words

Remember three words today.

  1. By the Chebar Canal (Ezek. 3)
It appears in chapter 3, though we read only chapter 37 today. Ezekiel was among the captives with them. So it was more vivid. Daniel was in the palace, but Ezekiel was on the field. There is an important phrase:

1) Ezekiel at the Chebar Canal who knew the cause and prayed
“Ezekiel was by the Chebar Canal.” What does that mean? Those who know the cause and pray will overcome. This is very important. “He was by the Chebar Canal.” It’s a phrase to ponder. The Bible mentions “mountains” often—people prayed there. Some were by the “sea.” The Bible also mentions “wilderness,” and “a desolate place”—similar. Among those, those who received the greatest answers were often on mountains, by rivers, or at the sea. He knew why they had gone into Babylonian captivity. So, among the captives of Babylon, he wrote this. The Chebar Canal links the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers; it is a canal. If you visit places like the Panama Canal, you can sense it—Chebar is such a canal. There Ezekiel prayed by the Chebar Canal.

2) Ezekiel became mute
At that time, a new prophecy was given. Ezekiel’s wife died then. Ezekiel stopped all mourning and all customary acts. Chapter 33 records, “Ezekiel became mute.” Did he become mute by not speaking, or literally? That is not the point. If you truly want to receive answers, human words are unnecessary. Can human words accomplish it? If you truly want to change your destiny, words are unnecessary.
When I was in the second year of middle school, my father passed away. During the funeral, I did not cry. Some adults who lacked sense criticized me. They said I was heartless: “How can he not shed a single tear when his father has died?” I did not. Why? Words were unnecessary. I decided that when I grew up, I would succeed and do world evangelization. I decided never to talk about “money, money” for the rest of my life in the way the poor must. At that time, I decided not to be powerless, unable to evangelize, yet always babbling human words. That is why I have met you. How grateful I am.
Human words are unnecessary to turn dry bones into an army. That is the first condition. If you work at a company and there is much talk there, that person should not be there. Words are unnecessary. So it says he became mute. We would need to check once more whether he literally became mute or simply refrained from speaking—I do not know. “He became mute.”

3) God gave Ezekiel His Word and fulfilled it
God gave Ezekiel His Word and fulfilled it.

  1. Watchman (Ezek. 33)
Second, in chapter 33, God gave Ezekiel a second key word. Only when human words are unnecessary will God’s Word be given. At that time the word given was “watchman.”

1) Ezekiel 33
“Go and speak to those in danger now, so that they may live. If they do not hear and die, the responsibility is theirs; but if you do not tell them, the responsibility is yours.”

2) Ezekiel 34
In chapter 34, “Look at the many hungry sheep.”

3) Ezekiel 36
In chapter 36, He says, “Hear the word of the LORD.” The Word must come upon the watchman. Verse 1 records, “O mountains, hear the word of the LORD.” Why not “O people”? Why mountains? Because they do not change. He told the mountains to hear the word of the LORD. That is, it never changes. “I will bring back those who were taken.” In verse 11, “I will make you better than at first. You will no longer be bereaved of your children.” To Ezekiel, who did not rely on human speech, God gave His Word.
※ Human words are unnecessary. The living Word of God is necessary. That Word came, and he became a watchman.
If hardship comes to you, human words are unnecessary. God’s Word is necessary. A Word of power. The scattered remnants throughout the world need the living Word of God and His power. That Word came: the watchman.

  1. One who prophesies (spokesman) (Ezek. 37)
Third—remember and hold to this for answers; no need to complicate it. The third is: “Prophesy the Word. Prophesy to the breath (spirit).” What is that? A spokesman (one who declares on behalf). These three: Ezekiel, mute, standing by the Chebar Canal; Ezekiel, who received God’s Word and became a watchman; this is the blessing given to you. Now, speak the Word to the dead—be a spokesman. These three. This is what changes an age. Let’s consider a few aspects of such change.

1) “Can these dry bones live?”
God took Ezekiel to a valley. Everything had died. They had become bones—dried and scattered. It describes Israel’s condition. Suppose everything of yours has collapsed; there is no possibility. The bones are not even connected; they have dried and scattered—there is no hope. God showed him those bones and asked, “Ezekiel, can these bones live?” This is important. As a spokesman, as one who has the Word, as one who prays by the Chebar Canal, what must you know? He asked, “Can these bones live?” Can your church and your industry live? These are completely dry bones—can they live? At such moments we can give the wrong answer: “They cannot live.” That’s the wrong answer—unbelief. How can they live when all is dead? On the other hand, we could say, “Yes, they can live.” That is bluster. How can they live when all is dead? Ezekiel, who held to the covenant, answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.” In simple terms: “You can do it, Lord.”

2) “Prophesy to these bones the Word of God.”
Then He said, “Prophesy to these bones.” Prophecy here is not my words; it is to declare God’s Word. We use the term “Word” respectfully in Korean speech—when addressing someone above us. We say, “Please speak ( 말씀 ),” to a parent or someone we respect; to a child, we would say, “say ( 말 ).” We also use terms like “speech pattern” and “tone.” A single harsh tone can drive someone to suicide; a single helpful word can revive someone. Then how much more to “prophesy the Word of God.” For pastors, this is crucial—never share your own thoughts; declare God’s Word. When that was done, the bones began to live and move.

(1) God’s Word
God’s Word is the Word of creation. The Word is God. The Word became flesh and came to this earth. The Word is living and active. Declare this Word. This is extremely important.

(2) Wait until the Word is fulfilled; when it is, follow it
Elders and pastors, do not be impatient. Wait until the Word is fulfilled; when it is, follow it. Cause the Word to be fulfilled in your field of industry. Then it will do. Simply put, the prophesied Word of God was fulfilled. He saw that timetable.

3) “Prophesy to the breath.”
After that, He said, “Breathe the breath (spirit) into them.” Not that you breathe it in, but “Prophesy to the breath.” You have the qualification to declare God’s Word. Right?

(1) You have the qualification and authority to declare God’s Word
You have the qualification and authority to declare God’s Word. Convey it.
When I came to Yeongdo in 1987, I said, “In the morning first service, I will start from Genesis.” And, “In the evening, because we must evangelize, I will start from Acts.” “Because God’s Word is living, by the time we finish Genesis, God will have worked within it.” And that is what happened. Even before Genesis ended, people from across the nation and the world began to come to our church to receive training. Those who worry about “What will become of us?”—it will be fine.

(2) To the dying, declare the power and life of the throne; declare to the breath so the Holy Spirit will work
“Declare God’s Word to those who are dying. Declare to the breath so the power and life of the throne will enter, so the Holy Spirit will work. It is not you who breathe it in; declare it.” Remember this.

(3) If you take true courage, it is imprinted in your brain; it connects to your soul, meets the Word, and meets the throne
People do not realize how tremendous our soul and brain are. If you say, “I’m going to die,” it becomes imprinted in the brain; the brain instructs accordingly. This is scientific—medical. If you truly muster courage and say, “I can do it,” the brain understands and instructs accordingly. “You can live.” This connects with our soul; it meets the Word, and meets the throne. Tremendous. Therefore, you must go with this important power.

※ In the name of Jesus Christ, declare the Word and declare to the breath. This is what turns them into an army.
Because you already have the Word, first declare the Word wherever you go. Declare to the breath. In the name of Christ. In some cases, binding the darkness is also a declaration. “In the name of Jesus Christ, let this Satan be bound.” Right? These astounding people rose and became an army.

▣ Conclusion_ How you worship is crucial (Ezek. 47)

In conclusion, that was not the end. He led him into the temple in chapter 47. What does that mean? How you now worship is crucial. There is something very important here.

  1. You must entrust everything to God. Change your worries, thoughts, words, and prayers (Ezek. 47:1–5).
He led him where the water flowed. The water came up to the ankles—after measuring a thousand cubits. “Walk.” Easy enough. Then He took him to deeper water. The water reached the knees; still manageable. Then deeper; the water reached the waist—walking became harder. A bit deeper; water up to the chest—walking was nearly impossible; he had to swim. A little further; the water became deep—you could not walk. What must you do? Entrust your body to the water and swim. That is the message.

1) God has a plan of the Word for you
Today you must entrust everything—cast your cares. Why? Because God has a plan of the Word for you. Surely. Elders, the first thing to beware of is worry—cast it off. Why? Because you are important. In the end, when you finish life, it will be as you have spoken. It will be as you worried. Remember this.

2) The One who guards you and the church 100% is the LORD God
“I have nothing”—not so. Change your words, thoughts, and prayers. As a child I always said, “I don’t need money. Why? Because I am not poor. My parents may be poor, but not me.” Why must I live like that? Right? It was fulfilled exactly. “I can overcome sickness.” Why? Because I must do world evangelization. If God makes me sick, so be it—I can go home. Why should that be a problem for me? Do not worry. Many worry. The One who guards you 100% and guards the church 100% is the LORD God.

3) Job 3:25; 1 Pet. 5:7–8; Eph. 4:26–27; Eph. 6:18
Why were they taken captive? Because they had to do world evangelization—and since they did not realize it, He sent them. Simple. Cast all your cares on God.
In Job 3:25, Satan struck the area Job constantly worried about. “Cast all your anxieties on Him. Your adversary the devil prowls around, seeking someone to devour”—he knows what you worry about. Do not be angry and sin; do not give the devil a foothold (Eph. 4:27). The devil uses many strategies to topple you. Therefore, “pray at all times in the Spirit” (Eph. 6:18). He led him there. In the temple, as the water rose and I was immersed, I had to entrust myself. I preach this, but my personal experience is lacking—because my mother imprinted a fear of water in me in childhood. I still cannot swim. If I fall in, I must walk out—that’s how I am. Childhood imprinting is fearful. Someone texted me: “Swimming is simple. Just entrust your body.” I understand the words, but still. God led humanity into deep water. Even if you cannot swim, it’s okay. Entrust all your anxieties.

  1. The water flowing from the pulpit revived the sea and every living thing (Ezek. 47:6–9)
Then He brought him to the riverbank. This power began to revive the sea. Indeed, verse 9 says the water from the sanctuary revived the sea and every living creature.
  2. This water went to each tribe and began to revive the dead land (Ezek. 48)
It revived the fruit trees. Where did it go? To each tribe. It began to revive the dead land. That is chapter 48—revival began to spread. Indeed.

※ Worship that revives three things
Through the Word, worship revives three things. The Word becomes living and active, prayer becomes living and active, and the evidence of evangelism becomes living and active—that is what you see throughout the six days.
We mentioned Rockefeller—not that he is the issue; you can receive even greater answers. Rockefeller only evangelized America; we are doing world evangelization. We spoke of Wanamaker—one who triumphed holding to the living Word. And of Lincoln—those people only saved America. With this covenant—the living Word—you are the ones doing world evangelization. Hold firmly to this covenant.

1) You must actually have the Word
The most important thing is to actually possess the Word. Even pastors—let alone elders—when I meet them, I mostly do not speak; I listen. I hear their difficulties and pains, but they do not have the Word. You will never receive answers. Pastors must revive the spirit of the church; otherwise, it is a big problem. It is not by our ability; we must have the Word.

2) Do not transmit your personality; transmit the Word
Many assistant ministers—are you going to transmit your personality? You will all be dismissed if so. Transmit the Word. In this age, important elders should not be mired in difficulties; they must hold to the Word. Evidence will surely come one day—the Word will come alive.
I said this yesterday: preaching and teaching are my “work.” My suit is my work clothes. When I am not preaching and go out, I wear jeans—my “special” clothes. Yesterday I had a meal with some of our executive elders. Elder Kim Gi-Su looked at me and said, “Wow, pastor, that’s very stylish.” I thought to myself, “This elder has the keenest spiritual eyesight I’ve ever seen,” because no one has ever called me stylish. No one. But that elder did. People are pleased when someone understands them even a little.

3) If we enjoy the Word of God working within us, we have nothing to fear
If you enjoy the Word of God working within you, there is nothing to fear. You will surely do world evangelization. Let us pray.

Prayer. We give thanks to God. We thank You for calling us to do world evangelization. Grant power and fresh grace. May all the glory be to God. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Life of Evangelism Camp

2025.08.24 Sunday 2nd Service
Domestic Evangelism Committee, 2000 Regional Churches Dept.
Second Half Evangelism Camp Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: 1 Peter 2:9

What is the most important thing in evangelism and missions? You must receive answers. Without receiving answers, you cannot truly evangelize or do missions. That is why evangelism and missions are not something you do — they are something you see. You must absolutely receive these answers. How do you receive them?

[The Blessing of the Watchman (1 Peter 2:9)]
If you hold on to this covenant, God will give you the blessing of the watchman. In 1 Peter 2:9, He called you so that you may declare the praises of the light. So, what kind of answers must you receive? Even now, as you sit here, you must receive answers. People often miss them because they do not understand what true answers are.

There are people who received the greatest answers even without stepping into the evangelism field. Who was that? Theophilus. He didn’t even go to the field, yet he received incredible answers. The book of Acts was written by Luke and sent to Theophilus, a governor and a legal authority. He received the message and enjoyed its blessings without ever appearing in the mission field — yet he received some of the greatest answers.

Before we talk about what kind of answers you must receive, you must first know who you are.

▣ Introduction
1. A chosen people
“You are a chosen people.” (1 Peter 2:9) It is not that you chose God — God chose you. If it were the other way around, nothing would work. The disciples did not choose Jesus; Jesus called those whom He wanted.

2. A royal priesthood
It says “a royal priesthood.” Not just a priesthood, but a royal one. Believe this. God called you to be royal priests. Saying “evangelism doesn’t work” or “I’m too poor to serve God” makes no sense. The Almighty God has called you as a royal priesthood.

3. A holy nation
You are also called a holy nation — this refers to the throne of God. “Holy” means set apart. Among all people, God set you apart through salvation. Among all writings, the Bible is called Holy Scripture because it is set apart. Among all buildings, the church is called the Holy Temple because it is set apart. Among all possessions, what you offer to God is called holy. Believe this: God has set you apart for His work.

4. God’s own possession
“You are God’s own possession.” Who owns you? God Himself. You belong to Him.

5. Called to proclaim the light
Lastly, He called you to proclaim His light. This is absolute.

Once you hold on to this covenant, you must not waver. From the moment I truly understood the gospel, evangelism began happening naturally. That is not because I was good at it — it is because this is what’s right.

▣ Main Point – What answers are happening now?

For those preparing for the 2000 regional churches, do not miss this. What answers must you receive? What is happening right now?

1. The content and background of the watchman

You already have the content and background of the watchman. This is why answers are happening right now.

[The Triune God, Darkness, Throne]
The Triune God is invisibly working with you right now. That is why worship is so important. As you hold on to the covenant here today, watch what happens — the darkness surrounding you will collapse. Darkness refers to the authority of Satan.

Even as you sit here, the blessing of the throne will work in the places you are heading. These three things — the Triune God, the defeat of darkness, and the power of the throne — are happening right now.

2. The timetable of the watchman

For those living an evangelism camp life, another answer is taking place right now: the timetable of the watchman.

[Acts 1:3]
Acts 1:3 summarizes this reality: the Triune God works, darkness breaks, and the throne mobilizes its armies for you.

[Acts 1:8 – The living work of God]
Acts 1:8 explains how this happens: God’s Word, prayer, and evangelism come alive and work in you.

  • God’s Word becomes living and active. It must never be neglected. Hold onto the Word until it comes alive in you.
  • Prayer becomes alive. The prayer topics God gives will be fulfilled.
  • Evangelism doors open. You will begin to see the field clearly.

3. The camp of the watchman

Lastly, you are entering into the camp of the watchman. What answer will you receive? God will give you eternal things that will never perish.

Romans 16:25-27 explains this secret — the eternal covenant, power, and commission that God prepared for you.

Three key answers within the watchman’s calling

1) Bartizan, journey, and guidepost
You are walking with the Lord’s bartizan and following His guideposts. As you pray, the works of God will inevitably arise.

2) Imprint, root, and nature
Wherever you go, your imprints change, your roots transform, and your nature is renewed.

3) Only, uniqueness, and re-creation
You are not walking aimlessly. You are walking with the covenant of only Christ, experiencing uniqueness, and moving toward re-creation.

4) Beginning, process, and end
This is your entire journey — your start, process, and end are within God’s covenant.

5) The remnant, pilgrim, and conqueror
You go as the remnant, walking the pilgrim’s path, and conquering darkness as a spiritual conqueror.

The timetable of daily answers

1) Every day – Strength
Every day, receive strength through prayer and the Word.

2) Every hour – Confirmation
Every hour, confirm the answers God is already giving you.

3) Every moment – Masterpieces
In every situation, God will produce 300% masterpieces through you.

Do not overcomplicate evangelism. There are no secret “methods” — just hold onto the covenant and see what God is already doing.

The watchman’s eternal camp

God has stored up special blessings and is waiting to give them to those prepared to handle them. He will entrust eternal things to you. How?

1) 7·7·7 [Camp]
Go to every field carrying the bartizan, journey, and guideposts, and establish camps.

2) 7·7·7 [Masterpieces]
In every place, create masterpieces God has prepared with the same bartizan, journey, and guideposts.

3) 7·7·7 [Light]
Wherever you go, shine the light of the gospel and heal the field. This is the watchman’s camp that Paul’s team established, leaving behind eternal works that continue to this day.

▣ Conclusion

What kind of light are you called to proclaim?

1. Genesis 1:3 – The light of creation
The Word of God itself is the light. “God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”

2. Isaiah 60:1-3 – The light of glory
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

3. John 1:11-12 – The light of salvation
“To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.”

4. Matthew 5:13-16 – The light of the world
“You are the light of the world.” It’s not a command to become the light — you already are the light.

5. 1 Peter 2:9 – The light to proclaim
God called you to declare His light to the nations.

24, 25, and eternity

For the 2000 regional churches to arise, you must raise 24-hour watchmen in each field. Hospitals, banks, and systems must also adopt a 24-system to prepare for globalization. God demands this.

When 24 is established, the blessing of 25 — God’s throne — will come upon you, producing eternal works and masterpieces.

This is what it means to live the 300% life:

  • 300% prayer
  • 300% talents
  • 300% future

When you prepare like this, God Himself will send people to find you.

Prayer. Father, thank You for giving us the covenant of evangelism. Pour out Your special grace upon those who pray day and night. Work upon the scattered disciples all over the world. Raise the remnants to shine the light to the nations. Heal the sick and revive the fields. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

The Blessing of the One Who Has Been Wronged

2025.08.24 Sunday First Service
Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 33:1-9

▣ Introduction – People who received great answers in situations where no one could help

Thank you. A long time ago, in my hometown, there was a boy I knew — not a very close friend, but someone I was acquainted with. One day, after coming back from school, I learned that his mother had taken her own life. He was deeply traumatized. You can imagine how devastating that was. Afterward, a stepmother came into the picture, but she was abusive and treated him terribly. I don’t know where he is now or how he’s doing, but for most of his life, he was tormented by deep wounds from those experiences.

Back then, if I had understood the gospel, I could have confidently shared it with him. But at that time, I didn’t know the gospel well.

Many of you who are new to the faith have also experienced difficult times like these. But when we read Scripture, we find that almost all the people who received great answers were placed in suffering, especially situations where no one could help them.

1. Joseph

One day, Joseph was sold into slavery and later thrown into prison. There was no one to help him. Yet God used Joseph and raised him up as a key figure in His plan. That’s why, when you face suffering, you must hold firmly to God’s covenant.

2. Moses

Moses one day saw the Israelites being brutally mistreated and beaten as slaves. Seeing their suffering, he tried to intervene — and in the process, he killed an Egyptian who was abusing one of his people. Because of this, Moses had to flee and ended up living as a fugitive.

But here’s what’s important: that crisis became the place where Moses received the greatest answers. Many scholars believe Moses wrote Genesis during this period. It contained incredible spiritual revelations.

Your wounds, hardships, and suffering cannot just be ignored. If they remain unresolved, they lead to spiritual problems — as I saw with that childhood friend who struggled with strange behaviors for years because he never found healing. Back then, I didn’t know how to help him, but now I understand: only the gospel brings true restoration.

3. Elijah

King Ahab wanted Elijah dead. Elijah had no way to fight back or escape the danger. Out of desperation, Elijah prayed, “Lord, take my life. I can’t go on any longer.”

But that moment became one of the most important times of his life — the turning point when God spoke to him clearly. We must not miss moments like these.

4. Jeremiah

Jeremiah prophesied that Israel would soon be taken captive by Babylon, according to God’s Word. But people became furious, saying, “Who are you to speak for God? Do you think you’re the only prophet?” They falsely accused Jeremiah of being pro-Babylonian and threw him into prison.

Yet in that prison, God gave him His promise:

“The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time:
‘I am the Lord who made the earth, who formed it and established it — the Lord is His name. Call to Me, and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’” (Jeremiah 33:2–3)

This is the covenant you must hold on to today when you face difficulties.

▣ Main Message – The first answers you must hold on to

There are three types of answers you must firmly hold.

1. What to Do First – “Cry Out” (Only Prayer)

God said, “Call to Me” — not just “pray” but “cry out”. There’s a difference between ordinary prayer and crying out to God with desperation and focus.

1) Pray without distractions or seeking people’s approval

Crying out in prayer means focusing only on God. It’s not about impressing others or being conscious of people. It’s prayer that comes from the heart.

*Prayer is stored in your brain, your spirit, and before the throne of God.

2) Pray earnestly

(1) Abraham – He yielded everything and built an altar before God, and that’s when God began His works.

(2) Moses – On Mount Horeb, during a desperate time, God started His work through Moses.

(3) Elijah – When Elijah fled to Mount Horeb, God gave him the true message:
“I will replace King Ahab. I have reserved 7,000 disciples who have not bowed to Baal. Anoint Elisha as your successor.”
Elijah thought it was the end, but for God, it was the beginning.

3) How much should you cry out?

(1) Hezekiah – Facing death, he turned to the wall and prayed earnestly. That very night, the angel of the Lord struck down 185,000 Assyrian soldiers.

(2) Early Church Leaders – The early church leaders stayed up all night, crying out to God, and He Himself removed King Herod.

Start today — whenever you have time, cry out to God. Pray until His Word begins to work in your life.

2. What to Know First – God’s Promises

Crying out is important, but you must also know God’s promises and hold them firmly. These are five key promises:

1) “I will show you great and hidden things you do not know.”

2) “I will heal this city.”

3) “I will restore Judah and Israel from captivity.”

4) “I will forgive all your sins.”

5) “This city will become a name of joy, praise, and glory before all nations. When people see its glory, they will tremble and be in awe.”

When you stand in this promise, Satan trembles before you. That’s the power God has given you.

3. What to Be Assured of First

People may curse you, and Satan will do everything to bring disaster upon you, but God desires to bless you.

1) The Seven Disasters of Israel

Even in Israel’s seven disasters, God raised remnants who turned them into seven blessings because they knew God’s ultimate plan.

2) God’s Promise of Salvation

Long before, God promised that Christ would come to save us. Nothing else — no rituals, no religion, no personal effort — can bring salvation. Only Christ.

3) Christ’s Explanation of God’s Heart

(1) The Lost Sheep – A shepherd leaves ninety-nine sheep to find the one that was lost. Likewise, God desires to bless you and restore you fully.

(2) “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
Jesus invites you to bring your burdens and receive His rest.

▣ Conclusion – Be a Witness

1. Be a witness who changes destiny through God’s blessing.

1) From Weakness to Saving Your Family Line – Pray, “Lord, make me a witness who brings salvation to my entire household.”

2) In the Church – Pray to become a witness of evangelism.

3) In a World Obsessed with Profit – Ask God to make you a witness who brings life, not one who follows greed.

4) In a World Full of Spiritual Problems – Pray to be a witness for this generation.

2. Hold on to God’s promises.

1) “I will give you power to reach the ends of the earth, and you will be My witnesses.” (Acts 1:8)

2) “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go and make disciples of all nations. I am with you always.” (Matthew 28:18–20)

3) “Go into all the world and preach the gospel. The Lord, seated on the throne, worked with them.” (Mark 16:15, 20)

3. Open your eyes and see.

People all around you are groaning, struggling, and crying out in pain. They are not your enemies — they are captives who need the gospel.

Stand as a witness. Live as one who carries God’s covenant, God’s promise, and God’s answer into the world.

Prayer. Father, we thank You. You said, “Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Today, let this be the day we receive strength, see Your Word fulfilled, and experience Your healing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Church Construction Is to First Receive the Answers

2025.08.17 Sunday 2nd Service
Church Construction Devotional Worship
Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 16:13

The first person who enjoyed the blessing of temple construction was David. If you look carefully at David, you find this answer:

Temple construction – answer first
To the one who has this covenant, God first gives the answer. God will surely complete world evangelization. What matters is how we participate. Because many events happen, how we participate in world evangelization becomes the most important path. God entrusted Korea with the great blessing of world evangelization. Whenever this happens, two types of people always emerge.

We could not gain independence and were continually afflicted by Japan, China, and Russia. At such times, there were people who flattered those powers, some who used and took advantage of the situation, others who avoided it altogether, and still others who sold all their possessions and lands to devote themselves to the nation. Why was Queen Min assassinated? It was because of Russia. To put it simply, Queen Min (Empress Myeongseong) sided with Russia. When people found out that she had aligned with Russia, they killed her.

Though no one realized it at the time, God opened the door of world evangelization through Korea afterward. Surely, the construction of our temple will be completed by God. What matters is how we participate and how we pray. God gave David three missions.

Introduction – The Spirit of the Lord
From that time, it is said that David was powerfully moved by the Spirit of the Lord. What kind of mission was given to him that this happened? The phrase “powerfully moved by the Spirit of the Lord” means that everything was already finished, but it also contains something crucial.

[1. The Triune God]
The Spirit of the Triune God came upon David.

[2. The throne]
The power of the throne continually came upon David from that day forward.

[3. Victory]
Therefore, God gave him victory in everything.

[4. All answers]
Even what appeared to be suffering was actually an answer.

[5. WIOS]
In our present terminology, God gave David the system of WITH, Immanuel, and Oneness.

[6. OURS]
God gave David the system of Only, Uniqueness, and Re-Creation.

[7. Bartizan, journey, guidepost]
It is the same today. God gave David the journey of the Lord, the bartizan, and the guidepost. It could not fail. That is what it means when it says that David was powerfully moved by the Spirit of the Lord. What did David do that brought this about?

1. The mission of the Word
There are three things we must hold onto. First, David met Samuel. When he met Samuel, he received the Word, and with it, he received the mission of the living Word. He surely held onto the accurate covenant. At that time, Samuel would have explained to David what the Ark of the Covenant was and how it began. He would have also told him how the Ark had been captured by the Philistines, causing great calamity. But Samuel also explained where the Ark was now—it was in a windy place, namely, in the house of Abinadab.

2. The mission of the age
This was not just a story—it was the mission of the age. Samuel anointed David’s head with oil and told him, “You will be king.” And he added, “Prepare for the construction of the temple.”

3. The personal mission
This was David’s personal mission. From that day, David began to be powerfully moved by the Spirit of the Lord.

Main point – From that day forward
What happened from that day onward?

1. The flow of the blessing of the temple
If you read David’s Psalms, you can see the flow of the blessing of the temple.

The three feasts – This flow began with the Exodus and the three feasts. When you continually enjoy the three feasts, works of God surely arise. It is not about keeping the dates but about continually enjoying salvation, the works of the Holy Spirit, and the works of the throne. From this, you see an incredible flow.

The tabernacle-centered movement – When the great event of the Exodus occurred, a tabernacle-centered movement arose.

The Ark of the Covenant – Inside the Ark was the eternal Word of God inscribed on the stone tablets. Along with this were the jar of manna and Aaron’s staff that budded—signs that God gives life when we hold onto His Word and worship.

The Most Holy Place – The Ark was placed in the Most Holy Place, where the power of the throne was revealed.

The Holy Place – In the Holy Place were all the items that explained the grace of Christ—the table of bread, the lampstand, and more. When Christ was crucified, the veil that separated the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place was torn, granting us access to God by the name of Christ.

God gave David this tremendous flow of blessing.

2. Experience of power
From this point, David began to experience power:

Psalm 78:70–72 – Even from youth, while shepherding, God was preparing him.

1 Samuel 16:1–13 – The anointing with oil symbolized not only his kingship but the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

1 Samuel 16:23 – When David praised, evil spirits fled.

1 Samuel 17:1–47 – David overcame Goliath with ease, shocking the entire world.

Psalm 23 – Amid persecution and death, David confessed, “The Lord is my Shepherd; I lack nothing.” This was not written in comfort, but in the midst of suffering, yet full of God’s power.

3. Lifelong answer
From that time, lifelong answers began for David.

The City of David (2 Samuel 5:7) – He built the foundation for conquering the world.

The Ark of the Covenant (2 Samuel 6:1–23) – He brought the Ark into the City of David, even dancing before the Lord despite criticism.

The 1,000 bartizans – To ensure the whole nation and all remnants could pray, he built 1,000 bartizans across the land.

Preparation of the temple (three courtyards) – David prepared everything for the temple, which included the three courtyards.

Conclusion – Genesis 1:3
David’s greatest confession appears in 1 Chronicles 29:10–14. He confessed, “Everything we have comes from God. We only gave what You first gave us.” We too must hold onto the covenant that God continually works with the power of creation from Genesis 1:3.

1 Samuel 16:1–13 – Lifelong decision – David made a lifelong decision that day.

1 Chronicles 29:10–14 – Lifelong offering – David gave a lifelong offering, not just a momentary one.

Lifelong preparation for posterity – David did not complete the temple himself but made lifelong preparation for posterity. Because of this, Solomon later built the temple, and the eyes of the entire world were fixed on it.

Today’s Word
This week, we must hold onto today’s living Word. Once, when Korea was in extreme poverty, missionaries still proclaimed, “Korea is the nation that will carry out world evangelization. Do not just receive—prepare for world evangelization.” That covenant has been fulfilled. Today, Koreans are everywhere in the world. Korean food, culture, and language are spreading globally. Even this is God opening the doors for world evangelization.

At this time, we must prepare the three courtyards for the posterity and for the world. If you just hold onto the covenant, answers will surely come. Then, all the results can be returned to God. This was David’s confession.

Prayer. Lord, may Your living Word work in our lives this week. May healing arise by the power of the Word. May the blessing of creation take place by the power of the Word. May all darkness be bound. May all curses be broken. May only the gospel be proclaimed to the entire world. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Those Who Possessed the Accurate Covenant

2025.08.17 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Daniel 1:8-9

▣ Introduction_ Hold on to the Living and Active Word – The Standard of Worship and Prayer
Thank you. This is the question that our remnants overseas ask the most. “There is no place to worship.” Also, “It is difficult because the church is going through trials.” These are the contents they mention the most. What should they do? We must find the answer today.

Also, there are important multiethnic people here today. From my perspective, they are more important than congressmen or ministers. How should they properly feel this value?

Also, our church leaders are here. And there are many listening to this message across the nation and the world. What should they do? You must take this with you today.

Also, some may say, “I am in hardship.” “I am in great trial.” “I am in conflict.” What should you do?

  1. Jesus Christ who defeated Satan with the Word of God (Matthew 4:1-11)
Let me first give an example. When Jesus was fasting for 40 days, Satan came to Him. It was a very important timetable. And Satan even dared to approach Jesus Christ. He gave three temptations. We must take note.

1) Temptation through physical needs
Satan knew He was very hungry and brought a stone that looked like bread, saying, “Turn it into bread and eat it.” In the Korean Bible it says “rice cake,” but in English it says “bread.” What is this? It is temptation through physical needs. Jesus defeated it with the Word.

2) Temptation using pride and self-esteem
The second temptation is something we must surely know. “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from the temple.” He even quoted Scripture: “The angels will come and lift you up so you will not strike your foot.” What is this? Satan uses our pride and self-esteem to destroy us. Of course, Jesus overcame with the Word.

3) Temptation to change the object of worship
When that didn’t work, Satan brought out the real temptation. This is the true one. “I will give you all of this.” This enormous Satan told Jesus he would give Him everything. What if he said to you, “I will give you one thousand trillion”? Many would change their heart. “I will give you one thousand trillion if you just do this one thing.” What was it? “Bow down to me just once.” This is important. Change the object of worship. Do not worship God. That’s what he said. Then you will get everything.

Satan tempts in three ways. He destroys you using your physical needs. He destroys you with useless pride and self-esteem. And finally, with money: “I will give you everything. Isn’t money the greatest? I will give it all. Just don’t worship God.” That’s what it is.

So then, today, you are missing something in worship. That is what the remnants must grab hold of. These precious multiethnic people are here, perhaps only once in their lifetime, what must they take with them? That is what is being spoken of here.

We must know the temptations Satan gave. Jesus quoted three verses from Deuteronomy and struck Satan down. Though He could have defeated Satan with His own authority, Jesus broke him with the Word of God. “Then Satan left Him, and the angels came and ministered to Him.” That is how it is recorded.

  1. Historical examples
Let me give you the answer right away: Hold on to the living and active Word. This is the standard of worship. This is the standard of prayer. If you don’t catch this, you must keep going until you do.

1) Rockefeller
Let me give an example: Rockefeller. His mother told him, “On Sundays, go to church one hour early. Pray deeply. Find out beforehand what passage the pastor will preach on. Hold onto that Word and pray during the six days that it will work as living and active. Since you are a businessman, earn much money and give offering—that is the best way you can live your life of faith.” John D. Rockefeller Sr. actually did this. And what happened? The living and active Word came upon him. His business flourished beyond words, and he established 24 universities.

This is what many of you don’t know—what to do after worship. It’s true. Many don’t know what to do after coming to worship on Sunday. Instead of holding on to the living Word of God, we hold on to other things. That is a great loss.

2) Wanamaker
This morning in the elders’ meeting I shared this: Wanamaker once said, “For me, teaching children in Sunday school and worshiping on the Lord’s Day is more important than being a government minister.” He said this when he was actually appointed as a minister. What would an ordinary believer say? “How important it is to be a minister! Not everyone can be one. But anyone can serve in Sunday school.” They would say, “Hallelujah! I’m a minister.” And to get it, they would even lie in their confirmation hearings. But Wanamaker said no.

This is not about whether being a minister is important or Sunday school is important. What he meant is this: holding onto the Word in worship on the Lord’s Day and making it living and active—that is how he became the department store king of the world. This is what we are missing.

3) Lincoln (Galatians 3:28)
Another example: Lincoln. You know how he faced continual failures. Yet he held on to one thing: the living and active Word. Even in the midst of failure, he held on to it. He held on to Galatians 3:28. And he changed the world. The work of the Word continued to happen. This is what you must hold on to. Remnants, this is beyond words.

  1. Biblical examples
Let’s look at biblical examples. We just saw historical ones, now let’s look at the Bible.

1) Joseph
He was sold to a place where no one could help him. Joseph. But Joseph held on to the living and active Word. In Potiphar’s house, God worked. Even in the fields, God worked. Though falsely accused and imprisoned, he held on to the living and active Word. He became governor. This is not just a story. If you lose hold of this on Sunday and throughout the week, you lose everything. Even if pastors have a hundred doctorates, world evangelization won’t happen without the work of the Word.

2) Jochebed
A great crisis arose: all the babies were to be killed. But Jochebed prayed and held on to the covenant. She realized, “Only God is living.” “Only the gospel is living.” And she thought, “Where will the gospel be revealed and spread the most? In the palace. I will send my son there with the living covenant and Word.” And an astonishing work took place.

3) Moses
That covenant eventually came to Moses. Before he turned 80, he had the covenant, but he didn’t hold on to the living and active Word. That’s why God appeared to him at Mt Horeb: “Go, offer the blood sacrifice. Speak to Pharaoh. Speak to the people before Pharaoh. Speak to the elders before the people. Tell them the Lord has spoken. I will be with you with My mighty hand.” Moses said, “I can’t.” “I am not able.” The living Word and Moses had nothing to do with each other. “I am too old. I am not eloquent. I am a fugitive.” But in Exodus 4:24, God came to take Moses’ life. After telling him to go to Pharaoh in Exodus 3, in chapter 4, God came to take him. What does this mean? Simply: “Will you go or die?” Moses chose to go, because that was better than death. From then on, the living and active Word began to appear to Moses.

4) Joshua
The same happened with Joshua. God said, “I have given you the land of Canaan.” Not “I will give,” but “I have given.” “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. Do not fear. Be strong and courageous. I am with you.” This meant great works would happen. From then on, the Word lived and worked through Joshua.

5) Rahab the prostitute
What did she see? She heard the news, and she saw the living and active Word. Many Israelites who saw it did not realize it, but Rahab heard the news and held on to the Word.

6) Jeremiah
Next week’s sermon, but I’ll mention it: “The Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah a second time.” The living Word of God came to him. What happened?

7) David
The most afflicted man in the Old Testament was David. But the reason he received the greatest covenant was not just because of answers here and there, but because he held on to the fulfillment of the living and active Word of God.

※ John Bunyan
Today’s passage is also about captivity. What covenant did they hold? This is important: How would this Word live and work?

John Bunyan, as you know, was imprisoned 16 years for the gospel. Sixteen years in prison is no small matter. But the issue was not age or losing everything—while there, he experienced the living and active Word. From that came Pilgrim’s Progress.

So, without many words, you must catch this: “Ah, this is how I must worship, and how I must live during the week.” You must catch this.

▣ Main point: Daniel who resolved in his heart when he became a captive
When Daniel became a captive, he resolved in his heart. You must resolve in your heart. What must you do? He resolved it. He knew why they were captured. He knew why they were destroyed. Then what should he do here? He resolved it.

  1. He held on to the covenant to be fulfilled – Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14)
First, he held on to the covenant to be fulfilled. We must not hold on to covenants that will not be fulfilled.

Who gave this covenant? Isaiah did. Daniel held on to it. The most important word Isaiah gave was this: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” Daniel held on to the covenant of Immanuel—God with us.

Isaiah spoke of five great things. Daniel held them. What are they?

1) The remnants will rise and bring restoration (Isaiah 6:13)
This was the first: “The remnants will rise and bring restoration.” Daniel held on to this.

2) The Word that works forever (Isaiah 40:8, 31)
“You will hold on to the power of God’s Word. Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Word of the Lord is the Word that works forever.”

3) The power of the Word (Isaiah 43:18-19)
In Isaiah 43:18-19, he explained the power of God’s Word: “A way will be made in the wilderness. Rivers will flow in the desert. Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing.”

4) Arise, shine your light (Isaiah 60:1-22)
“Arise, shine your light. The glory of the Lord has already risen upon you. Your posterity will return. The third economy will return. The least will become a thousand, the weakest a mighty nation. I the Lord will hasten it in its time.”

5) The watchman (Isaiah 62:6-12)
“Set watchmen on the walls. Be a watchman. Do not let the Lord rest day or night. Build up the highway. Raise a banner so that all nations may come.” Daniel held on to this. That’s why he could not but be victorious. Hold on to the covenant that will be fulfilled—the living and active covenant.

  1. He held on to the place and timetable of fulfillment
Second, when and where is the covenant fulfilled? You must hold on to this.

1) The great disaster and crisis in Egypt
In Egypt, when the great disasters came, the power of the Word appeared.

2) The attack of the Philistines
For fourteen generations the Philistines brought suffering, and no one appeared. But David, who was inside the living covenant and Word, arose and defeated them. You must see when it happens.

3) The invasion of Assyria (2 Kings 19:35)
The Assyrians continually oppressed Israel. But one man arose—Hezekiah. When he became king, he sent word to Assyria: “You have oppressed us until now. But I am now king of Israel. From now on, I will not send you tribute.” Why should they send it? Hezekiah was remarkable. Assyria then came with 185,000 soldiers. In 2 Kings 19:35, it says Hezekiah turned to the wall and prayed with all his life. He prayed for the power of the Word to work. And that night, God called away the 185,000 Assyrian soldiers. The Bible records: “The angel of the Lord went out and struck down 185,000 in the Assyrian camp.” I believe this. Why? Because when you go to heaven, the angels also come to take you. No one goes alone. Likewise, those going to hell are dragged by Satan. That’s why unbelievers scream when they are about to die—they are terrified. But the saved are accompanied by angels, sometimes even singing hymns as they depart.

4) The attack of Aram (2 Kings 6:8-23)
When Aram continually attacked Israel, Elisha was at Dothan, raising disciples and remnants, praying. There the living Word of God was proclaimed, testified, and taught. Aram learned of this. “Why is Israel always one step ahead of us? Do we have spies?” They answered, “No, there is a man who sees everything—Elisha in Dothan.” The king commanded: “Capture him alive and bring him.” So the Aramean army surrounded Dothan. But the Bible records: “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” God made them surrender, and Israel won without fighting.

  1. They were inside the fulfilled covenant
Third, they were inside the fulfilled covenant. Not about what will be fulfilled—they were already inside the fulfilled covenant. These were people who were already filled with the power of the Word Isaiah had prophesied. Five people stood out at that time.

1) Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3:16-18)
Nebuchadnezzar built an idol and commanded all to bow. These three did not. The king was astonished and said, “Bow. I will give you one more chance.” But they replied, “We do not need to defend ourselves in this matter. Even if God does not rescue us, we will not bow.” The power of the Word appeared in Babylon and saved the 237 nations.

2) Daniel (Daniel 6:10, 16, 20-22)
Another was Daniel. Though in captivity, the living Word began to work greatly in him. He interpreted Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and Belshazzar’s writing on the wall. In the time of King Darius, who loved Daniel deeply, politicians plotted against him. They tricked the king into signing a law that anyone who worshiped another god must die. Darius approved it. Daniel knew about it, but “as before, he prayed three times a day toward Jerusalem, giving thanks and worshiping.” He could not be stopped. When thrown into the lions’ den, the king cried out, “Daniel, servant of the Most High God, has your God whom you serve continually rescued you?” From the den came Daniel’s voice: “O king, live forever. Last night the angel of the Lord shut the mouths of the lions, and they did not harm me.”

3) Esther (Esther 2:10, 4:14-16)
Another was Esther. She became queen. Mordecai told her first: “Do not reveal that you are a Jew.” Later, when all Jews were about to be destroyed, he told her, “Now reveal it.” In Esther chapters 2 and 4, we see how someone inside the living and active Word of God could see what to do.

▣ Conclusion_ The Living and Active Word
Today, forgive me for speaking so long, but simply hold onto this: the living and active Word. Is this possible? It was for me.

  1. Poverty, incompetence, and disease
When I was young, I faced poverty, incompetence, and disease. I had no ability to evangelize. I was incompetent, poor, and sick. But I challenged so that God’s covenant Word would work. Today I still minister with this: “Do evangelism this way. Do healing this way. Work in 300% this way.”
  2. Hardship
I once faced a time when it seemed absolutely impossible. Then I began to organize God’s living and active Word. After that, world evangelization arose. Meeting you is a blessing. We started here without strength, yet world evangelization arose. Some started here, and others came from across the nation and world to Busan because they truly wanted to evangelize.
  3. Hold on to the living and active Word in the future
What about the future? I believe you must hold on to the living and active Word. We will go to the 5000 tribes, not just the 237 nations.

If any of you are sick, do not be discouraged. Experience the living and active Word of God. You must experience the power of the Word.

※ Do not give up. Do not limit the spiritual with your own thoughts.
Some say, “My husband cannot change.” “My child cannot change.” Many think this way. But that means you are already imprisoned in your own limits. You must know how God works.

One woman said, “My husband cannot change. He is an alcoholic.” I told her, “That is your thought. Thank God he is alive. He may be used for world evangelization.” She realized something. Her thinking completely changed. That night her husband came home drunk, asked for water, and she brought it saying, “Thank you.” The husband was shocked: “Why are you thankful?” She said, “Thank you for coming home alive. Thank you for not being sick despite drinking so much. God will bless you.” From then, change began.

I am a witness. Many told me it was impossible. But do not be discouraged because of your children. My mother never gave up. She held my feet in prayer and never gave up. One day, the gospel came upon me, the Word came to me, and I gained faith and assurance.

So then, when I repented and went out carrying my Bible and hymnbook, there was the owner of the largest store in our neighborhood, a man who ran a bar. He looked up to the heavens and said, “Surely God is alive.” Isn’t that right? Do not give up. Do not limit the spiritual with your own thoughts. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that from this week, the greatest days will begin.

Prayer. Lord, let today be the day of the covenant. Let us confirm the living Word today. Let us experience it this week. Let it be the beginning. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
