But that became ‘the road of refuge toward blessing.’ So when hardship comes, new family members can see it as God’s timetable to give me new grace that I did not know until now. You must see that God’s things are prepared. Also, for church leaders, God is surely trying to give a blessed new mission. Especially for Remnants, the hardship that has come is all preparing them. You must have that answer in advance. Then how can you overcome hardship?

There are times when we face hardships while living. Sometimes we even feel like, a crisis has come. We may even face something extremely urgent like this. Such a thing happened to Jacob. For the reason that he stole his brother’s blessing, this brother actually tried to kill Jacob. Nowadays it might be somewhat impossible, but in the old days it was possible. Well, it’s not like there were police, and it’s not like there was CCTV like now; back then, if you killed a person, they just died. Jacob, now facing such great hardship, since his brother was trying to kill him, came to run away.

「The Road of Refuge Toward Blessing」

So simply put, that became a road of refuge truly toward blessing. It’s content that must be talked about with many people this week. He thought he was running away because he faced great hardship, but I’m saying this became the road going toward blessing.

So if by chance hardship comes, our new family members can see it like this: ah, it’s the timetable in which God is giving me new grace that I didn’t know until now. Everyone has new things, but new family members must see that God’s things are prepared. Also, our church leaders can face hardship too, right? For church leaders, God is surely trying to give a truly blessed new mission. Especially for Remnants, the hardships that come are all preparing them. You must have that answer set in advance. Ah, the hardships a Remnant faces are all preparation. You just must not be deceived. There are so many things you won’t understand. Those are all preparation. To say it a little differently, I’m saying God prepares great figures greatly. Then there can also be great hardships.

▣ Introduction

Now, first then, how can I overcome this hardship? This is important, right? Ah, as a person lives, there are hardships and hardships come, but how should I overcome this? I’m saying that in some ways, the act of overcoming itself is hard.

1. Daily Strength

So before these hardships come, regardless of whether they come or not, first obtain the strength given daily. You must have this set. What is that? It is the prayer done in the morning, afternoon, and evening. No matter what anyone says, what did you do this morning?

1) Restoration, Strength

In the morning, it must be confirmed unconditionally that I obtain strength. In the morning, there must be a prayer that restores all of me. Understand?

2) Confirmation (Eyes)

Then during the day, it’s the time for you to confirm all the many blessings. Your body is very sick and you went somewhere and met a hard thing? It’s harder. If you wake up in the morning and truly get the strength of prayer, your eyes to see the day change. ‘Even if hardship comes, it’s okay.’

3) Answer

Then when you pray the closing prayer at night, the answer doesn’t come right away, but the answer is seen.

– 3 Concentrations

Looking at this, it’s called the 3 concentrations.

2. 3 Settings

Then there is something you must have first, before facing hardships, before going out into the world. It is the three settings. You must do it. What is that? A platform for which God cannot help but answer is made. Today you seem to be sitting here worshiping, but you must hold onto it. It is the time the platform is made. Today, hearing this message, the whole world is listening to the message now, right? This time is truly the time God’s bartizan is made, the time of making the platform. Without knowing it, you can shine the light that saves other people. It is the time the watchtower is set up. And it is the time the antenna that completely connects with God’s spiritual power is set up.

3. 3 Answers

This is the third. Three answers come. Answers come to problems, conflicts, and crises.

Now, how is it? Today’s story is the story of Jacob. In a word, Jacob didn’t have this (Introduction) in place. It’s the time to make this. If you see it this way, it’s accurate. The hardship that came to you is not hardship; it’s the time to make this (Introduction). Never, ever be deceived. When your body becomes weak, it’s easy to be deceived. Also, when there’s no one helping you and I’m placed in a difficult environment, a person is shaken without knowing it. I’m telling you, when my circumstances become too difficult or things like this happen, I’m shaken without knowing it. That’s what happened to Jacob. You must know the reason this comes out first in the Introduction. For God to give this blessing to Jacob.

When you go to Seoul, the senior elders are sitting right in the most visible seats. They’re wearing nice suits, sitting there. In Busan, our kwonsas are sitting all lined up. In Busan, now, the senior elders have been pushed out by the kwonsas. So I’m saying in Seoul the elders are sitting there with spiritual strength. It’s so nice to see. In Seoul, our kwonsas are also trying hard not to be pushed out. Good. Because people don’t know the structure of the brain, the structure of the universe, the throne, things like this, they just think of it lightly. Prayer is a tremendously important thing. What National Assembly members do is important. Right? But the things you do are different things. Things those people cannot do. And prayer makes you enjoy tremendous things. So last Sunday’s sermon said, what to do in times of crisis? Set up the bartizan of the Lord. Today in the 2nd service, what happens when that bartizan is set up? We follow that flow.

▣ Main

So the story of Jacob came out now.

[ Refuge ]

He ran away to avoid death from his brother. He went, and God gave him three things at this time.

1. With

Simply put, it’s this blessing. It’s saying, I will be with you.

2. Covenant

And He didn’t just give that. He also gave the covenant.

3. Strength

And now He gave the strength to go the remaining road. You can’t go with only the covenant, right? He gave strength.

1. With

How was He with him?

1) Fatigue

In chapter 28 verse 12, most, completely, how hard must it have been on the way that he collapsed and slept? I’m saying he was so tired and worn out that he collapsed, and at that time God was with him.

2) Ladder (Angels)

He showed one thing. He showed the ladder. What does that mean? It showed that your prayer connects to God and that God answers you. At that time, it showed the spiritual thing of the Lord’s angels, messengers, going up and down the ladder.

3) Word

And with that, He gave the Word.

You go through the difficult roads of refuge, the world, with this blessing.

2. Covenant

What does He promise?

1) Now

The place where you are lying now is God’s temple. He is with you now.

2) All Peoples

And it’s not just that. How much strength must you gain? Through you, all peoples will be saved.

3) Fulfillment

I will not leave you until this promise is surely fulfilled. Does it mean He leaves once it’s fulfilled? No. I will not leave you.

3. Strength

1) Tribulation – Blessing

At this time, Jacob realized that this great tribulation was, for him, going on the road that gives God’s blessing. All saints, make hardship and tribulation into God’s blessing. To say it accurately, it’s not making it. It’s seeing it. God is not the kind of God the Jews know. The Jews know God wrongly. They think if they suffer and suffer and keep all the law, He saves them. God knew you couldn’t keep all that law and promised Christ from the beginning. Many Christians now know it wrongly. They understand it like religion. Ah, I did this and was blessed, did that and got punished; it’s not that kind of content. It’s that He will give this Jacob the promise promised to Abraham, the power of world evangelization. That’s what I’m saying; it’s not the time to fight with your brother now.

2) Walking Together

So He makes promises, and how great are the promises He makes? “I will walk with you.”

3) Temple

And He says an important word. “The place where you are is the house of God, the gate of heaven. The place where you are now is the temple. The very spot where you are now is the house of God.” He said a very, very important word. This church is also a temple, but the places you go are God’s temple. And He said it is the gate of heaven. It’s tremendous, the gate. Jacob completely realizes it here.

▣ Conclusion_ First

Now, after this many things come out, but what is today’s conclusion? Remnants, before going out, like Jacob, before going out, obtain this (Introduction). Also, those who may be in hardship, don’t worry, and first confirm this blessing that God is truly with you. When you truly hold this covenant and keep praying, you restore much strength. We must go when God calls us, right? Before that there’s nothing else. With the strength of God being with me. We go the remaining road. Understand?

Today too, please give strength so that this blessing Jacob obtained is delivered to me, and next Sunday to the future generations. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that all day today will be a day of receiving great grace, a day of answers. Let us pray.

Prayer

We give thanks to God. Please make today a day of healing. Please make it a spiritual day that the people of the world do not know, and let us walk with God, which is more important than answers. Please let the places we go, the greater answer, be the temple and the gate of heaven. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
