Healing and Welfare Committee Devotional Service
Scripture Reading: Genesis 39:1-6
What kind of worship are we offering now? We are currently offering a devotion service for the Healing and Welfare Committee. This is incredibly important. God sent Joseph to block disasters. What kind of answer would come to Joseph? That answer is coming to us right now. I know someone—not a friend, but someone I know well—who seemingly thought too much. Thoughts are important to us, aren’t they? But what happens if you think too much? He decided to become a pastor. Apparently, there is a place that ordains people in six months because the era is so urgent. He went there and received it. Because we are children of God, we must not think too much. We must pray much. If you pray much, you see what is absolutely necessary. You see the absolute bartizan for the era. From that point, history begins. That was the first service today. If an absolute bartizan for the era stands in Vanuatu, God will drive blessings toward it. Why? Because Joseph is there. Now, you must catch on and know what kind of answer is coming. In Egypt, the culture of darkness is spreading to the whole world like a pandemic. Only light can block it. God determined to send Joseph there. Joseph knew this. Beyond just faith, one must know. So, it was imprinted exactly as an absolute special bartizan. From that day on, every path for Joseph became an answer. Why must he go to Egypt? The words you have grasped as a covenant—healing and welfare—are very important terms.
「 Liberation from the Era of Spiritual Slavery 」(Genesis 39:1-6)
Beyond physical slavery, everyone has spiritually become a slave. You must see this. A slave? Do you understand? Everyone has spiritually become a slave. He is going to liberate them. Since he has to go, there is no need to be discouraged because he must go this way. He must go to Potiphar’s house as a slave. Since he was sold as a slave, he doesn’t even need a visa; he just goes. Jehovah is with Joseph. This evidence was shown. Thus, when Potiphar saw him, he said, “Jehovah is with him.” He saw that “Jehovah makes Joseph prosper.” Consequently, Potiphar entrusted everything to Joseph by making him the overseer of the household. From that point, blessings were bestowed upon Potiphar’s house and even his fields. The Bible says, “For Joseph’s sake.” That’s right. If you truly grasped this covenant, it is “for your sake.” If our church is truly a church that will preach the gospel, He bestows blessings even upon the fields for the sake of Immanuel Seoul Church. I am certain. I said this in ’87. I spoke for the first time at a gathering in Busan at a church where one elder was present. If we are truly a church that will preach the gospel, God will answer. Right? You must grasp that absolute bartizan covenant and go. Why is that?
▣ Introduction_ Spiritual Liberation (Past)
You must know this. You must start with spiritual liberation. Without this, other things are of no use.
1. Darkness → Egypt, Weak Nations, Israel’s Posterity
First. You must quickly liberate them from darkness. Why? Currently, Egypt has completely become a slave to Satan. It is an uproar. They are capturing and killing all nations; it is an uproar. Many weak nations have been dragged there as slaves. Not knowing this, Israel’s posterity will become slaves in the future. You must quickly liberate them from here (darkness). Joseph knew this. He was enjoying it.
2. Individual → Food, Clothing, Shelter
And what else? You must quickly liberate the individual. What is the only thing they know? They only know eating and living. They cannot see anything else. “Shouldn’t I just eat well and live well before I die?” They only know this. Thus, spiritual liberation does not occur. The members of our Healing and Welfare Committee must grasp this covenant firmly today. If we only weigh food, clothing, and shelter, as I mentioned last week, we are worse than dogs. Right? We are not.
3. People → 3, 6, 11
Now, the people imprisoned there must be liberated. To do this—to liberate them from the darkness of disaster—Joseph is being sent. Not knowing this, even when many problems come, they miss everything. Surprisingly, looking at Joseph’s first and last words, evidence emerges that Joseph knew this. Right? When he first spoke, his brothers thought he was crazy. But he spoke at the end. At that time, his brothers shed tears. “It was not you who sold me here, but God who sent me ahead of you.” The brothers shed tears. That means he knew. He had to liberate them from this darkness. So He tells Joseph to hurry and go. Why does He tell you to do healing and welfare? Rescue the nations fallen into darkness. Individuals are all bound there, and the people are bound. The problem is not the people coming out of Egypt. It is not the problem of coming out of Babylon. Otherwise, they will continue to be captured. Why? Because they are captured here (3, 6, 11). They are captured in Genesis 3, 6, and 11. They must come out. It is continuing even now. So He says to go. Even now, the Garden of Eden, the flood of Noah, and the Tower of Babel incidents are occurring. Even now. Superpowers are creating this. Small nations are currently colonies to this. Surprisingly, this is a reason found only in the Bible. It is occurring exactly the same way now. He says to go and liberate them. This is missions. Among them, because they are sick, He says to heal them. Because they live so difficultly, He says to do welfare. You must make this mission certain.
4. Disease
Now, because of this, they have no choice but to be sick. Right?
1. Fundamental strength: Why does He tell Joseph to go? He tells you to go because they need fundamental strength.
2. Fundamental healing: And fundamental healing must occur.
3. Fundamental mission: They must fulfill the fundamental mission. This is the fourth secret.
So, look into it and let our missionaries and those who came from Vanuatu do this; you must truly try it. There is no need to build a large hospital. Do we not have doctors? You must help them do this. In the future, the 24 era is coming. The online era is coming. Doctors must now be able to heal while looking at the whole world. It is such an era. Even now in Korea, I can deliver messages to the whole world. You must liberate them from this disease.
5. Poverty
In reality, what is true welfare? You must liberate them from poverty.
4. Prayer: So go and teach what prayer is—Prayer 300%.
5. Work : You must teach them what Work 300% is so they can save the whole world. Those who are starting now must pray. It must be 300%. Expertise must be 100%, and field applicability must be 100%. The system must be 100% so that it has no choice but to work. It should already be to the extent that even before you start, people from the field come to buy. That means field applicability is prepared 100%.
Long ago, a friend of mine who was truly good at business was opening a shop, and I went to the opening service. When I arrived, a customer was already there sitting with us for the service. You must do this.
6. Missions: After doing that, you must prepare missions 100%. 300%. Everyone must prepare.
So, with these five secrets, you must completely effect spiritual liberation. Healing and welfare are important. If you open your eyes well to this, it can become the healing that opens the door for true evangelism to the whole world. For example, if we sent someone like Elder Kim Shin-tae here or Exhorter Kim Jung-sook in Busan to a mission field? It would be an uproar. Right? I’m telling you to pray. And you must actually liberate them. Why is that?
At Busan Station, I think some church serves noodles. I saw it once when the timing was right while passing by; some church does it. Why don’t they just give the boiled noodles quickly? While giving them, they give a philosophical sermon and all sorts of things. “Oh, just give it quickly. Why that…” Even people in neat neckties were standing in line there. Is that right? It couldn’t happen, but if my son were standing in line there to get some noodles? I wouldn’t leave him be. Right? I would grab him by the collar and pull him away to make him realize. You shouldn’t call that welfare. Of course, there are people who get those noodles and receive help. However, the fundamental thing is that this must be fixed. For 500 years of the Yi Dynasty, our country was always bound to the past; we couldn’t see the future and only looked at the past. For 500 years. If the power changed, they dug up the other side’s past and killed them. If the power changed like this again, they found the other side’s past and killed them. They did that for 500 years. During that time, Japan achieved development equal to Europe. So they came with guns—with guns. While our country was having sword fights, they came with guns. “Hey, hand over such and such.” Japan did a great wrong, but we did an even greater wrong. Always caught in the past and fighting. You must quickly help them come out of the past.
Altogether, you must help them come out of the past. That is the mission you must do. If you look at the characteristics of failures, they are bound to the past. If you look at people suffering from mental illness or depression, what is it? They are all caught in past scars. They must come out. Thus, your ministry is important.
▣ Main_ Spiritual Healing (Summit)
Important healing and welfare occurred for Joseph who knew this, and spiritual healing began to occur.
1. Joseph, who liberates the past
First, what is it? It is Joseph who liberates the past. It must be this way. It won’t work without this. If one has not come out of the past, it won’t work.
2. Joseph, who liberates the field
And he liberated the field. This is the welfare and healing ministry you must do.
3. Joseph, who goes to liberate the future
What is more important is Joseph, who goes to liberate the future. It is amazing.
But if this is correct, wouldn’t it be natural? It is not that a miracle occurred to Joseph, but the natural thing arrived. I truly bless and pray that you are within this blessing. You must be. If it reaches this extent, God changes everything according to where Joseph is. I’m telling you that you have the qualification for that. These are not my words. Right? Where is the missionary who truly preaches the gospel, and where is the church that truly preaches the gospel? God moves everything according to that. If there is a remnant who truly knows this secret and goes to liberate, God works there. It can’t be helped. God cannot help but do it. Once it reaches this point.
1. Joseph, who liberates the past
1) Sorrow, Scars, Despair: Joseph transcended the sorrow of his mother passing away. He was liberated from the scars arising from his brothers. Why? Because he knew. What kind of incident is this? He was handed over to human traffickers. It is a state of despair. He transcended it.
2) The path to the mission field: He knew this was the path to the mission field. You must quickly do this. This is the path to the mission field. Go and liberate the past. In the future, you must save those 5,000 tribes in Oceania; who will make them transcend the past of Vanuatu? In the past, our Korea was very difficult. Someone with the gospel came in and made us transcend Korea’s past. “Prepare the first missionary commissioning.” Looking at our country, “Revive the church and send missionaries to the whole world.” My ears were opened to this. Our country has sent so many missionaries that it is among the top in the world. Right? Thus, our Korea is a small piece of land. It is smaller than one state in America. However, it has now begun to shake the world. It is an uproar now. Why? Because we must do world evangelization. You must firmly grasp this term.
3) 237-5000: As he goes, look—he is going to Egypt. It is the path to the 237 nations and 5,000 tribes. One must be completely liberated from the past.
2. Joseph, who liberates the field
This Joseph went to the field to block disasters, and what he did was:
1) Overseer of the household: He went as a slave but became the overseer of the household. He liberated the field. Right?
2) Potiphar: He went to that house, and Potiphar came to enjoy spiritual blessings. Right? Potiphar saw and said, “Wow, Jehovah is with you.” This much is enough. “Jehovah makes you prosper in everything. Then be the overseer of the household; don’t be a slave. Except for the food I eat, do as you please.” He completely liberated the darkness in this field.
3) Wife: He was falsely and unfairly accused here and went to prison, but even that was okay. He did not accuse Potiphar’s wife. Even when he became governor, he did not call for her. Why? Because he liberated this woman.
3. Joseph, who goes to liberate the future
1) Potiphar: Look now. The answer received in Potiphar’s house.
2) Prison: The answer received in prison. It is tremendous.
3) Pharaoh the King: The answer of meeting Pharaoh the King.
What is all this? It means liberating the future. He sent Joseph to liberate the past, today, that field, and the future. Heal them. Rescue them from death. So, giving something to eat and helping is good, but that is not the important thing; effect spiritual liberation first. Only you can do it. Effect complete spiritual healing.
▣ Conclusion_ Spiritual Masterpiece
It is the conclusion. Beyond that, it is making a complete spiritual masterpiece. Up to here is the answer. Will you not make them a Summit by liberating and healing them? So you make them leave a masterpiece exactly. Even if you raise just one person, you must raise them that way. Then the answer is simple. What kind of masterpiece should you leave?
1. WIOS
Remnants ask me a lot, but God’s first promise was that He would be with us. WITH. What is the same promise? Immanuel. What is the same promise? Oneness. It is making this system. Then a masterpiece emerges. You must do everything this way.
I know someone who took over a restaurant, but not a single customer comes. No matter how much I preach, it is of no use. This person has expertise. I know it. However, there is no field applicability. Should he not analyze the field to see who the customers are, whether people come or not, or how many pass by? He just did it without that. So it is not even enough to pay the rent. He didn’t even prepare 100%. He had to take out a loan and pay interest. Rent has to be paid. This is not the way to do it. This is not living; it is barely surviving. why do it that way? One should just get a job at a restaurant. Then you can produce 300%.
2. OURS
What kind of masterpiece should you leave? It emerges. It is making this system of ONLY, UNIQUENESS, and RE-CREATION.
So, while I’m at it, think about what true healing is for the islands of Oceania. What emerges? You must find the disciples within and raise them. Then you just need to commission them back. But if you come and see Busan and our church, you will learn quickly. So, truly sick people must receive help from doctors, but what is more important is that fundamental healing must occur.
3. Always WITHS
Always With. This system must be made. This part is definitely important.
In my view, if you open your eyes to this healing and music, it can be a tremendous field. I asked those musicians today: go to Vanuatu and check what the level of music is for these people. Even if you go to the remote parts of Africa, they all do music. Check what kind of content that person is doing. Without doing that, we cannot achieve world evangelization. Sick people are everywhere, but if we don’t know what true healing is, we cannot do missions. You must truly pray for this. It must be imprinted. It is Joseph who goes to block disasters. That disaster is a disaster spreading spiritually to the whole world. It must be blocked. When COVID-19 happens, people join forces to block it. It is the same. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ that today becomes an important start for you. You should truly think about it. I will pray.
