Genesis 19:1-38

01 The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground.
02 “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.” “No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”
03 But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate.
04 Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house.
05 They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”
06 Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him
07 and said, “No, my friends. Don’t do this wicked thing.
08 Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don’t do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof.”
09 “Get out of our way,” they replied. And they said, “This fellow came here as a foreigner, and now he wants to play the judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.
10 But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door.
11 Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.
12 The two men said to Lot, “Do you have anyone else here—sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here,
13 because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the Lord against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it.”
14 So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters. He said, “Hurry and get out of this place, because the Lord is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.
15 With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished.”
16 When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them.
17 As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”
18 But Lot said to them, “No, my lords, please!
19 Your servant has found favor in your eyes, and you have shown great kindness to me in sparing my life. But I can’t flee to the mountains; this disaster will overtake me, and I’ll die.
20 Look, here is a town near enough to run to, and it is small. Let me flee to it—it is very small, isn’t it? Then my life will be spared.”
21 He said to him, “Very well, I will grant this request too; I will not overthrow the town you speak of.
22 But flee there quickly, because I cannot do anything until you reach it.” (That is why the town was called Zoar.)
23 By the time Lot reached Zoar, the sun had risen over the land.
24 Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the Lord out of the heavens.
25 Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, including all those living in the cities—and also the vegetation in the land.
26 But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.
27 Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord.
28 He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.
29 So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.
30 Lot and his two daughters left Zoar and settled in the mountains, for he was afraid to stay in Zoar. He and his two daughters lived in a cave.
31 One day the older daughter said to the younger, “Our father is old, and there is no man around here to give us children—as is the custom all over the earth.
32 Let’s get our father to drink wine and then sleep with him and preserve our family line through our father.”
33 That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and slept with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.
34 The next day the older daughter said to the younger, “Last night I slept with my father. Let’s get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and sleep with him so we can preserve our family line through our father.”
35 So they got their father to drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went and slept with him. Again he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up.
36 So both of Lot’s daughters became pregnant by their father.
37 The older daughter had a son, and she named him Moab; he is the father of the Moabites of today.
38 The younger daughter also had a son, and she named him Ben-Ammi; he is the father of the Ammonites of today.

Summary

RT, Multi-ethnic, 5000

Remnants, especially multi-ethnic Remnants, and among them the Remnants of the 5,000 people groups, must be taught why destruction is coming upon so many people right now. These people are people who inevitably face destruction because they have left God. This is where we shine light.

■ Introduction

1. Success – Pride – You can succeed even without God, and that’s why you fall into pride.

3. Economy – Disaster – You revive the economy and it lives on, but disaster keeps coming.

Great powers alike start wars, weak nations become slaves, and Israel, having received the gospel, does not share it.

1) Angel – God was with them and sent His angels, clearly gave the word, but they don’t believe.
2) Sodom and Gomorrah – There were many homosexuals. This is not a crime, but it is spiritually deviant, so it inevitably brings severe spiritual problems.
3) They regard God’s children as having no value whatsoever.
4) Why does God’s word matter so much?
5) Salvation means nothing to them.

2. We must do it now.

1) Recovery – We must recover according to Jeremiah 33:1-9.
2) Proclamation – We must proclaim light to many people according to Genesis 19:15.
3) We must do it with a sense of calling. Many people don’t even realize it.
4) Evangelism, missions – Those who do realize it must be given complete commissioning so that evangelism and missions occur. The gospel came into our country weakly and haphazardly, but within 100 years our country began to change. The power of the gospel is a fearsome thing.
5) We must believe that the light has already come. We need not fear the forces of darkness.

3. The next generation

It’s important for the next generation to find out what God called me for, what He gave me, what is truly mine.

1) Deception – Satan uses deception, according to John 8:44.
2) Temptation (worship) – Satan even came and tempted Christ, and demanded to be worshiped.
3) Authorities, powers, lawlessness, idols – According to Ephesians 6:12, Satan infiltrates authorities, powers, those who act completely lawlessly, and many idols and strange religions.
4) He makes us fall into worry.
▷ Light has come to us. Testify to this light. Proclaim it. Then darkness will flee.

So that we can succeed in worship today as well — today too, Satan wants to steal your worship. He has already stolen your prayer, and now wants to steal your worship. All this must be recovered.

These are people who inevitably face destruction because they have left God. This is where we shine light. How should we do it? We don’t need to do anything fancy. We just need to shine the light.

Great powers alike start wars, and weak nations become slaves. Exactly the same. At this time, those who received the gospel matter. Israel, who received the gospel, matters. This Israel does not share the gospel. They just think of it as ordinary. So they are sent as slaves to the great powers. This same thing is happening even now. You may know that you must work to survive right now, but you feel no reason why you must do missions, why you must evangelize. That’s how it’s become this way. Great powers keep running Satan’s errands, and small nations keep dying, while Israel just sits idle. If they were all captured and just became slaves it would be fine, but they get completely absorbed into idol culture. Such serious things are happening. Israel has no thought about this at all. If we’re not careful, we could become like that too. So important words — people don’t even believe them.

1) Angel

God was with them and sent His angels, clearly giving the word, but they don’t believe.

2) Sodom, Gomorrah – Homosexuality

Rather, in Sodom and Gomorrah, unimaginable crimes occurred. What’s especially hard to understand is that even back then — whenever “then” was — there were that many homosexuals. It’s quite serious now. Our Korea still hides and does this kind of thing, but in some countries they do it completely openly. It’s a strange situation. To what degree — a Remnant recently entered school. As they studied there, it turned out that basically everyone was homosexual. Not just our Remnants — everyone. This child was becoming strange too. Studying together, talking together, people are supposed to help each other, but this one child was being treated strangely. So I asked, “Is there really not even one other child who doesn’t do that?” and he said no. It’s probably a special region, but that’s the level.

So regarding people who engage in homosexuality, there’s a part we must consider — that some of it isn’t by their own choice. When I was young, I saw this — a friend of mine had a younger sister who, from childhood, acted like a boy. From childhood. We saw it because we were children ourselves at the time. From childhood, she’d go alone and cut her hair like a boy’s. From childhood. She’d stand and urinate. From that early age. It was astonishing to us. In the end, this — ah, this is a spiritual problem. Clearly she didn’t intend to become like that. In my view it’s a spiritual problem. If so, we must help all the more.

So some people ask, “What did we do wrong? Why is this happening?” people say this. “We’re not committing any crime, so why?” some people ask this way. Among those hearing my message, there may be some caught up in that themselves. So I’ve clearly said this before, and I can say it again now. It can be viewed as not being a crime. Right? It’s not a criminal act. It’s not like murder or theft. But it is definitely spiritually deviant. In the end, what they themselves must know is that this spiritual problem comes seriously. There’s no way around it. That’s why in Sodom and Gomorrah homosexuality was so rampant and strange things happened. This became a sea of fire, later.

3) Children

So they regard God’s children as having no value at all. What are God’s children?

4) Word

God’s word? “Ugh, why does that even matter” — that’s how it becomes.

5) Salvation

Salvation? These important words become meaningless to them. If we’re not careful, our young people could end up like this. “What is ‘God’s word,’ what is an ‘angel’ spoken of, what nonsense” — “So what if it’s homosexuality” — like that. It’s even getting to the point where drugs are becoming “what’s wrong with that” in our country too, coming to that.

2. Now

We must do it now. Do what?

1) Recovery

We must recover according to Jeremiah 33:1-9.

2) Proclamation

We must also proclaim light to many people according to Genesis 19:15. Now.

3) Sense of calling

Even without realizing it, we must do it with a sense of calling. Many people don’t even realize it.

4) Evangelism, missions

For those who do realize it, we must give them complete commissioning so that evangelism and missions happen, saving people.

The gospel came weakly and haphazardly into our country, but within 100 years our country began to change. Truly the power of the gospel is fearsome. In the past, there were Koreans who couldn’t even read. That’s when the gospel came in. Some people passed on just one Bible and died. Yet even so, history happened.

5) Light

What is that? That’s the power of light. You must believe that light has come. That’s why you need not fear the dark forces.

3. The next generation

This must be passed down to the next generation. This morning too I spoke with our elders — it’s important for the next generation to receive special education, go abroad, and study, but what’s most important is for these next generations to find out what God called me for, what He gave me, and what I must do.

1) Deception

Satan uses deception, according to John 8:44.

Testify to this light, proclaim it. Then darkness will flee. “You are the light of the world.” That was said. You must be confident. How do you become confident? Just wait. Darkness is destined to collapse. Right? Because you are light, darkness is destined to flee, I tell you. Failing to experience this is why Christians waver. A Remnant asked, “How do I evangelize?” “Don’t evangelize,” I said. “Wait,” I said. “Then the door opens. People trusting in darkness will come out into the light to survive. They’ll come to you then. Explain it then. Don’t force it unnecessarily.” So when you shine light, darkness is destined to flee.

While we worship today, all the darkness around you throughout the whole country and world will be driven out. You must believe this. “He called you a royal priesthood. The reason is to proclaim the light.” Truly, we don’t believe this — light has come into our family, but we don’t know it and keep suffering? This later turns into world evangelization. Our Remnants are a blessing. I attended church as a child but never heard the gospel. No one explained the gospel to me. I never heard the gospel. I never heard an explanation of who Christ is. So you see, our Remnants hear the gospel and the whole world gathers.

So that we can succeed in worship today too. Today too, Satan wants to steal your worship. He dared to challenge Jesus, didn’t he? Right, dared to challenge Jesus. “Bow to me and I’ll give you everything” — Satan does such absurd things. He wants to steal your worship. He has already stolen your prayer, and now wants to steal your worship too. All this must be recovered. We must recover worship and recover prayer.

May today, through these two powers, be a day when darkness is broken all day long as you receive grace, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bless you. Let us pray.

Prayer. Give us spiritual eyes and permit us faith. Let us know that we are children of light. We thank You that the light of Christ dwells in us. Let that light bring healing to the sick. Let the life-giving light of Christ shine upon the many people suffering from spiritual problems. Let a work happen that shines light upon the 237, the 5,000 people groups in darkness. ▷ Remnants, remember. These three (core, scattered-disciples message). Adults are building a fortress completely out of this (“what must be done urgently”). They just don’t realize it. This is the word that tears down that solid fortress. May you be someone who receives answers step by step, blessed in the name of Jesus Christ.

3. What to carry (the secret)

What to carry. You can tell by looking at the scattered disciples. It’s something you carry. You must let this be known without fail. Carry the secret.

Now, Remnants, three things. You must know the problem’s cause and solve it. Even the president doesn’t know. He doesn’t know why mental illness comes to this land. He doesn’t know why, even as we develop, disaster keeps coming. So Remnants must be imprinted, rooted, and made into a disposition by this blessing of tearing down Satan’s bartizan through this (what must be known). Carry the secret.

1) Genesis 41:38

This is how it works. It’s not simply preaching the gospel. It’s the secret contained within the gospel. Joseph delivers the secret to Pharaoh.

2) Exodus 3:1-18

Moses delivers the secret to Pharaoh of Egypt. Right? That’s amazing.

3) 1 Samuel 3:1-19

The secret is delivered to Eli the priest, King Saul, and David. You are one who knows and delivers the secret. There’s no choice but victory.

What is real prayer? If you pray, it comes out. Just pray. Do nothing else. Don’t worry. Don’t think too much. Pray. Then it comes out. The secret becomes visible. Right?

4) 1 Samuel 17:1-47

The secret was even spoken to an enemy. To whom? To Goliath. An amazing secret was told. It was delivered to the whole world. That’s why the fight between David and Goliath is famous. Even unbelievers all know it.

5) 2 Kings 6:8-23

2 Kings 6:8-23. God’s secret was delivered to the nation of Aram. There was no need to fight. This is the answer Remnants must carry. The secret.

6) Daniel 6:10-22

Daniel delivers the secret to three kings. Here, the secret is delivered to all the 237-5000 people groups.

7) Romans 16:25-27

Romans 16:25, 27 — the hidden secret, delivered.

Remnants, remember these three. Adults are urgent. Adults are building a complete fortress out of this (“what must be done urgently”). They just don’t realize it. Paul said this to a well-believing believer: “There is a solid fortress within you.” A word that tears down that solid fortress. It must be torn down. May you be someone who receives answers step by step, blessed in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray.

Prayer. Thank You, God. Thank You for giving this precious covenant to the Remnants and to us. Let it surely be recovered. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

「We Must Tear Down Satan’s Bartizan」

We must call the Remnants and tear down Satan’s bartizan across the whole world. We must convey to the Remnants what must be done urgently (the cause of the problem), what must absolutely be known, and what must be carried.

1. What must be done urgently – The cause of the problem

1) Why prayer doesn’t happen
(1) Genesis 3, 6, 11
After Adam, when a human is born, they get caught by Genesis 3. This is original sin. Because it is imprinted, the more you grow the less you can pray.
2) Imprinted with worldly things – Only worldly things are imprinted. This becomes the root and disposition.
3) A lifetime – must live like an unbeliever.
(1) Food, clothing, shelter – must live worrying about making a living for a lifetime.
(2) Must compete. Having no strength, becomes exactly like unbelievers.
(3) Conflict, struggling and fighting.
(4) Must follow the world. The reason for studying is to save the world.
(5) Spiritual problems come. Without exception, for every single one.
▷ Remnants must not live like this. Remnants must be able to give offerings, and must be able to help others too. They must be able to work for the nation as well. They must be able to help and save the 237, the 5,000 people groups worldwide. The Bible blesses this way. You just need to decide this from childhood.

2. What must absolutely be known (pray so that it becomes imprinted, rooted, and a disposition.)

1) Genesis 3:15 – Change of origin – Because you’re caught by Satan, you must change your destiny.
2) Genesis 6:14, 18, 20 – Recovery of life – “Build it for yourself, for your children, in order to save life.”
3) Exodus 12:12 – Recovery of status – They came out on the day the blood was applied. Status recovered. No longer a servant. No longer a servant of Satan. Once this is imprinted in Remnants, it takes root through difficulty and answers, and later becomes a disposition. Then world evangelization happens.
4) 1 Samuel 7:9-10 – Recovery of authority – Israel gathered at Mizpah and the Philistines invaded knowing this. At that time, they offered a sacrifice, and God rained hail down on the Philistines and shattered them completely. This was the greatest recovery of authority experienced in the Old Testament.
5) 1 Kings 19, 2 Kings 6 – Recover what God has given you.
6) Babylon – Recover what God will give you.
7) Matthew 12:26-30 – Bartizan – Within humans, Satan builds a house unnoticed. Tear down the bartizan. The moment a Remnant grasps this, it becomes imprinted. Once imprinted, it takes root when facing difficulty or reality.

Thank you. We must call the Remnants and tear down Satan’s bartizan across the whole world. In actuality, it’s built so sturdily that it must be torn down.

Then we must convey three things.

1. What must be done urgently – The cause of the problem

What must be done urgently. What in the world is the cause of the problem? This must be conveyed.

2. What must absolutely be known (imprint, root, disposition)

And what must absolutely be known. Once this becomes imprinted, it becomes rooted and a disposition. This must be conveyed to the Remnants.

3. What must be carried

And what must be carried.

1. What must be done urgently – The cause of the problem

The first thing you must know, the most urgent thing, is what the cause of the problem is.

1) Why prayer doesn’t happen

Why prayer doesn’t happen. It’s actually quite serious.

(1) Genesis 3, 6, 11

Genesis 3, 6, 11 are imprinted. If you understand it, it’s terrifying. This is something received from birth. Originally humans weren’t like this, but after Adam, when a human is born, they get caught exactly by Genesis 3. So some people who don’t know the gospel say things like, “If a baby is born and dies right away, it goes to heaven,” but that’s not true. Whether you live one second or a hundred years, life is the same. And that saying “hasn’t sinned yet” means they haven’t committed personal sin. This is about original sin. Because this is imprinted exactly, the more you grow the less you can pray.

2) Imprinted with worldly things

Second. No matter how much you study, only worldly things become imprinted. This becomes the root and disposition. Nothing is more important than this. Right now, Remnants — all of you have this equally imprinted. If it just ended there, it’d be fine.

3) A lifetime – Like an unbeliever

You must live a lifetime like an unbeliever.

(1) Food, clothing, shelter

Living a lifetime worrying about food, clothing, shelter, making a living. That doesn’t make sense, right? Remnants must not become like that.

(2) Competition

And what? You must struggle hard. You must compete. There’s no choice. Of course you must compete. Because you have no strength. You become exactly like unbelievers. If you win a little, you say, “I’ve received an answer.”

(3) Conflict

If it’s just competition, that’s fine. But there’s conflict too. If it’s just conflict, that’s fine too. But there’s struggling and fighting.

(4) Following the world

And then what do you do? In name you’re a believer, but you follow the world. The reason you go to school and study is to save the world, not to follow the world.

(5) Spiritual problems

Without exception, spiritual problems come later to everyone. It may vary by person, but spiritual problems come. This must absolutely be changed for Remnants. I can’t even say it’s “important” enough — nothing is more important than this.

People who don’t know this are exactly like unbelievers. Look at adults once. They only know this (food, clothing, shelter). Money. “If you have money, it’s fine.” A person who truly knows money doesn’t talk that way. They say that because they lack it. “If you have money, it’s fine. Money.” Remnants must not live like this. Do you understand? Remnants must not live for “money, money.” You must be able to give offerings. You must be able to help others too. You must be able to work for the nation as well. You must be able to help and save the 237, the 5,000 people groups. Why? Because the Bible blesses this way, I tell you. You just need to decide this from childhood. This is extremely important.

2. What must absolutely be known (imprint, root, disposition)

Second. You must absolutely know this. This must be prayed into becoming imprinted, rooted, and a disposition.

1) Genesis 3:15 – Change of origin

Genesis 3:15. You must change your destiny, change the fundamental origin. You must change the origin. If this doesn’t change, it won’t work — you’re caught by Satan.

2) Genesis 6:14, 18, 20 – Recovery of life

Genesis 6:14, 18, 20. What? You must recover life. “Build the ark for yourself. Build the ark for your children. Build the ark to save life.”

3) Exodus 12:12 – Recovery of status

They came out on the day the blood of the lamb was applied. This is recovery of status. No longer a servant, now. No longer a servant of Satan. You must escape. This must be imprinted in Remnants. Once imprinted, it takes root. It takes root when difficulty comes. It takes root when answers come too. Later it becomes a disposition. Then world evangelization happens. Don’t miss this opportunity.

4) 1 Samuel 7:9-10 – Recovery of authority

Read the Bible carefully. “Gather at Mizpah.” So the Philistines, knowing this, invaded. At that time, they offered a blood sacrifice. God rained hail on the Philistines and shattered them completely. This is the greatest recovery of authority experienced in the Old Testament.

5) 1 Kings 19, 2 Kings 6 – Recover what was given

1 Kings 19, 2 Kings 6, Dothan, right? What? Recover what God gave you. This must definitely be taught to the Remnants.

6) Babylon – Recover what will be given

Daniel 3, 6. Where did this happen? It happened in Babylon. They faced a crisis. Recover what God will give you. This is what Daniel realized. Remnants must know this.

7) Matthew 12:26-30 – Bartizan

Finally, what? Matthew 12:26-30. Within humans, unnoticed by anyone, Satan is building a house. The bartizan must be torn down. The moment the Remnant understands, it becomes imprinted. Once imprinted, when they go through difficulty or face reality, it takes root more deeply.

What must be carried. You can tell by looking at the scattered disciples. It’s something you carry. You must let this be known. Carry the secret.

Summary

This is the three-day weekend age that church leader workers create. It’s the three-day weekend age you create. An extremely important time schedule. When we worship, when we pray, when we gather, we hear the Word. How do we accomplish this, and how must I receive it? Every time you hear a message, you must find what exactly you need to do. Where? From where do you speak?

■ Introduction

1. The one within the covenant (word)

You are one within the covenant. You must find it here. That is fulfillment, that is the answer. The Word is alive.

2. Bartizan within me, journey in my path, my future’s guidepost

If I continuously enjoy the bartizan within me, the answer I must find comes out from within it. There is a journey of the throne in the path I walk today. And finding what the future of where I’m going holds is the guidepost.

3. The remaining answer – Witness

There is a separate remaining answer that church leader workers must fulfill. Three things.

1) Next generation – Three-day weekend
The three-day weekend that saves the next generation. Even if we find just a small practice, we become witnesses.
▷ When the church faced difficulty, I thought about what I should do. I opened an evangelism school. Answers keep coming to this day. We must know what God wants.

2) TCK, C, N – Three courtyards
TCK, CCK, NCK must be saved. That’s the three courtyards. This is the remaining blessing.

3) Mental illness – Holy meditation age
The whole world is entering an age of mental illness. What stops this is the holy meditation movement, the holy meditation age.

We are not going to teach. The word’s witness, the prayer’s witness, the evangelism’s witness. Yet one day your work and future are different. This is a fact seen by several church leaders I will introduce.

■ Main_ Witnesses

1. 1 Kings 18:1-15

Obadiah. If I do this, will I be okay, will I die, will I live? No. Many church leaders make such calculations, but when the church faces a crisis, don’t calculate — risk your life instead. What happened?

1) Mount Carmel
He was going to kill the prophet, but the false prophets all died instead.

2) Mount Horeb
It wasn’t over. It’s not on the level of “does it work, doesn’t it work.” An amazing message comes out at Mount Horeb. Elisha was called here.

3) Dothan
Dothan is where the person who played the role of foundation for the Dothan movement was — Obadiah.

2. Acts 18:24-28

The second person is Priscilla. She did many important works, but it led to talking with Apollos about the upper room.

1) The Remnant movement
This became a true Remnant movement. It’s recorded that from this point Apollos gained strength and preached the Word properly.
▷ If Remnants hear your testimony and gain strength and study with spiritual power, is there anything greater than that? Remnants sometimes make mistakes too. At that time, you must not wound them. You must give understanding and strength. That becomes imprinted. From that point they come alive. Your one word to a Remnant can give tremendous strength.

2) The Rome movement
This doesn’t just end there. Through the Rome movement.

3) The wandering-people movement
Through the wandering-people movement. Jewish education is excellent but that’s exactly why they perished. They didn’t just become wanderers — God made them wanderers, in order to break Jewish ideology.

3. True preparation (delivery)

1) Christ
The completeness of Christ.

2) Worship, prayer
The most important thing in life is worship and prayer.

3) Background
More important is the background – which is more important? The background. God explained the work of His kingdom faithfully for three months. If you don’t know this, you fall into darkness. Our background is the throne or hell.

■ Conclusion

There are three things you must do in order to accomplish the third age.

1. Strength
You must gain strength descending from above at this very time.

2. Confirmation
You must confirm that God’s absolute blessing is contained in every person, every matter, everything. That is prayer. Even if you can’t find God’s will, the act of asking itself is what it means to be alive.

3. Future
The reason we produce 300% is because of the future. If you achieve 300%, whatever you do succeeds.

This is the three-day weekend age that church leader workers create. You are church leaders and workers. The three-day weekend age you create. An extremely important time schedule, that’s why.

When we worship, when we pray, when we gather, don’t we hear the Word? How do we accomplish this, how must I receive it — I began thinking about this. Then I thought, “Ah, I don’t need to memorize an explanation. So while listening to the Word, I must find one thing I absolutely need to practice.” So that week I went to visit a school where a student close to me attends. I went and was surprised. Since then I’ve gone almost every day. And I saw many real situations. It’s not just holding onto the Word carelessly — it’s practicing exactly what’s needed. I never thought this would connect to my lifelong answer.

We often talk about whether there is an answer or not. That’s actually something unbelievers say. Unbelievers say “lucky” when something good happens. They say “I’m lucky today” with no meaning at all. “I hit the jackpot today,” like that. “I won the lottery today,” like that. But can a believer live their faith life that way? So every time you hear a message, you shouldn’t try to do something big. You must find what exactly you need to do.

From where do you speak?

1. One within the covenant

You are one within the covenant. You must find it here. That’s fulfillment, that’s the answer. This “does it work or not” kind of superstitious faith — we shouldn’t do that.

2. Bartizan within me, journey in my path, my future’s guidepost

And I continuously enjoy the bartizan within me. The answer I must find comes out from within it. And there is a journey — the journey of the throne — in the path I walk today. So there’s no reason and no time to say “is there an answer or not.” And what is the future of where I’m going? Finding that is the guidepost. I’m telling you about finding it right now.

3. The remaining answer

Many people, church leaders, say things like “I have a big answer” or “I don’t.” You’re fine even without an answer right now. Because the real thing remains. There’s a separate remaining answer that church leader workers must fulfill. What is it? Three things.

1) Next generation – Three-day weekend
The three-day weekend that saves the next generation. Even the small practice I mentioned earlier makes you a witness. Truly, there’s so much to testify to. Tomorrow’s main sermon message will have much of this, but the church members I’ve observed mostly do things that don’t produce answers. From what I see, what people say — what you say — is mostly wrong, useless things, when you listen. No answer. What we must find is something else entirely. There must be something I have to say to the children this three-day weekend. If you know this (introduction) part well, you have endless things to say.

When the church faced difficulty, I thought, “What should I do?” What could it be? Should I stop the fighting? That’s not it either. There’s something else I must do. So as I said before, I asked the pastor and opened the evangelism school. Answers keep coming to this day, don’t they? Then that’s settled. What’s the answer? People argue over pointless things, right or wrong — all of it useless. We must know what God wants. That’s how you receive answers. What’s the reason for worship? When I face a problem — “What is God telling me to do, what blessing is He telling me to find?” — you must find that. And that becomes the path, and one day great things happen, but that’s not something we do — it’s something God does.

2) TCK, C, N – Three courtyards
TCK, CCK, NCK must be saved. That’s the three courtyards. This is the blessing remaining for you.

3) Mental illness – Holy meditation age
And the whole world is entering an age of mental illness. Not just those who go to hospitals are mentally ill. There are plenty of “normal-looking” mentally ill people, aren’t there? This is the mental illness age that has come. What stops this is the holy meditation movement, the holy meditation age.

There’s a separate blessing that church leader workers receive. Find it in the covenant. Every day. Why do you worship? You must find it. Do you have to memorize everything? No need. Then what should you do? You’ll miss it otherwise. Within the covenant, you must find what small practice you must do.

Some people hear a message and while praying have a thought — don’t they? “Ah, that’s right.” I realized I wasn’t doing a single important thing I could do. So after finishing worship, I went home and used my free time to call relatives to check on them. I’d never done that before. Usually I only call when there’s an emergency, or to ask for help, or to borrow money — that’s the only time I ever called. But this time I called just to check in. Most people were grateful and said, “Oh, thank you, thank you for calling to check on me.” One person was shocked and asked how I knew to call. I had no idea at all — I was just practicing what I heard in the message. This person had a serious spiritual problem happening. So I rushed right over and shared the gospel. Before, this person wasn’t someone who would listen to the gospel. But this person completely broke down, and their whole family came alive.

One within the covenant. What more do you need? God will work.

And second, what is it? Bartizan, journey, guidepost — you keep finding these too as you go by the strength of the throne. Then it (bartizan, journey, guidepost) keeps coming alive, working. Isn’t this prayer?

1. One within the covenant (word)

This is the word. Isn’t the word alive? If I’m already dead, can the word remain living to me?

3. The remaining answer – [Witness]

What remains? Isn’t it witness to the word, witness to prayer? We’re not here to teach either. We go as witnesses. Do I go around teaching all of you? Would that work? There are excellent elders here — would it work for me to gather elders and teach them? Who would want to learn from me? Right? Witness. Of what? Witness of the word, witness of prayer, witness of evangelism. Isn’t that it? And then one day your work and future are different.

Let me introduce several church leaders who show this fact.

1. 1 Kings 18:1-15

If we’re careless, we wound them. When they’re already struggling, and we add wounds on top, what will happen? To a Remnant, your one word can give tremendous strength. So the three-day weekend age has opened, but is there anything special? If there’s someone discouraged and not coming to church, invite them and eat together. No need for long talk. Just tell them what’s inside you — what I mentioned earlier (introduction) — as a witness.

2) The Rome movement
This doesn’t just end there. Through the Rome movement.

3) The wandering-people movement
Did it just end there? Through the wandering-people movement.

Occasionally, among pastors, there are those who keep emphasizing Jewish education. You must be careful about this. Jewish education is excellent. But that’s exactly why they perished. Right? Jewish home education is excellent. That’s exactly why they perished. In the end they became wanderers. It’s not so much that they became wanderers, but that God made them wanderers, in order to break Jewish ideology. Yet they hold onto and cherish that ideology so much. Were they actually saved or not, honestly? Even now the last remaining task is to save the Jews. In some sense, I think our “ends of the earth” is the Jews. When you run a marathon, you start, right? Where’s the finish? The finish is returning to where you started. The start is the finish. So if your spiritual eyes are dim, nothing works no matter how much ability you have. Paul spoke painfully about this — he called it a curse. What? Jewish ideology. That’s what caused their ruin. Ideology, you must always be cautious about. Believers becoming left-wing or right-wing like that — it’s all building a Tower of Babel. Trying to build a Tower of Babel — how pitiful. That’s how it becomes. We — you, church leaders, are sitting here now with your eyes open, and church leaders are worshiping in each church — that alone is everything. Why? Because this (introduction) blessing is contained within it. It may look like you’re just listening to the Word, but you’re within the fulfillment of the covenant. It may look like you’re just praying the prayer Jesus taught, but this (bartizan, journey, guidepost) tremendous thing is happening. So what is it we do? We save the future. You are the representatives of that.

3. True preparation (delivery)

So we must prepare and deliver the true thing. Three things.

1) Christ
The completeness of Christ.

2) Worship, prayer
The most important thing in your life is worship. The most important thing in your life is prayer. You must gain strength from this first.

3) Background
And what’s even more important? The background. It says he explained the work of God’s kingdom faithfully for three months. The background. If you don’t know this, you fall into darkness.

I once met a man who had been to prison ten times. This man doesn’t realize at all, in every situation, that some darkness covers him. He thinks he’s simply wronged. So he’s captured by darkness without realizing his own state. The background. Our background has nothing else. It’s the throne or hell. There’s nothing else. It’s the throne. That’s why he faithfully explained the work of God’s kingdom.

■ Conclusion

Then there are three things you must do to accomplish this third age.

1. Strength
Now, at this time, you must gain strength descending from above.

2. Confirmation
Second thing you must do. You must know without fail that God’s absolute blessing is contained in every person, every matter, everything. Confirming this — that’s what prayer is. It’s fine even if confirmation doesn’t happen quickly. The act of confirming itself is important. Even if you can’t find God’s will, asking what God’s will is — that act itself is what it means to be alive.

3. Future
And what? Why do we produce 300%? It’s the future. There’s nothing else about the future. Producing 300%. Then you’ll succeed in whatever profession. From tomorrow, wherever you go to work, do 300%. Don’t hold back your body — none of that. Do 300% and you’ll succeed. Even cleaning, you’ll succeed. Even at the very bottom, you’ll succeed. So once 300% is prepared, you can consider your future prepared. Everyone has a future. But what if I have no job and I’m just sitting idle? Do “sitting idle” at 300% too. Right? Really play well. How do you play well? Think about it. Something amazing will come out.

Let us pray.

Prayer. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ the King of all kings, and the eternal love of God, and the working of the Holy Spirit, be with all the workers who enjoy the covenant, with the church leaders who carry the background of the throne, with the people of God who will go as witnesses, now and forever. 1. 24, 25, 00 summit prayer – Don’t deliberately set aside time in morning, noon, night. Remnants must know how to do summit prayer. We must live within these three prayers.

2. Bartizan, journey, guidepost (flow) – Doing this prayer, it becomes crucial to understand why Christ explained and left us this. Because this is the flow of summit prayer. Then you always enjoy answers and gain strength, riding this flow of strength.

3. 300% – Prayer, evangelism, missions, work are all 300%. Getting several times ahead of others. Finish studies quickly and move on. There’s no time. If a Remnant just prepares a little, the door of answers opens. Pray until you understand. If you pray until you understand, you will realize why you focused for 40 days.

■ Introduction

1. 300% (finish)

The word “300” means you must already be finished before you even go.

2. Reproduction, recreation, re-challenge

And Remnants must build the second thing. You must prepare for this. Reproduction, recreation, and re-challenge must happen.

3. Missions, church – the doctor Luke

Then get up and say “let’s go” and she follows. The wife pays. Lord! Don’t grow old like that. Do you understand? To think you’d grow old following your wife around like that. Not even able to find your way. What do many people end up like in old age?

Remnants, don’t do that. When you’re old, you must be able to do world missions. Prepare like that from the start. Even unbelievers do this — why can’t you? Look at Bill Gates. He goes everywhere doing service now. Having made a lot of money, he goes wherever, investing in places of hope. That’s how it’s done.

Do these three things as Remnants.

1. Multi-ethnic – family

The “make them family” movement to save multi-ethnic people.

2. 5000 – Healing missions

You don’t need to be a doctor. Healing missions to save the 5,000 people groups. Absolutely necessary, that’s why.

3. Summit gatherings

Because we must save TCK, CCK, NCK, you must now start summit gatherings to save the Remnants. Real summits must gather everywhere to save local churches, to save mission fields — you must do this.

There’s much for Remnants to do now, but right now it’s about multi-ethnic people. Especially the 5,000 people groups.

So as you do this prayer, Remnants will think, “Ah, why did Christ explain and leave us this?” This becomes extremely important. Why? Because it’s the flow of summit prayer. Then you always enjoy answers. Strength grows too, and you ride this flow of strength. This is what a Remnant is.

3. 300%

So what’s the conclusion? Prayer, evangelism, missions, work — all 300%. Several times ahead of others.

Remnants can become this. Start now. In our country there isn’t a good system for this, but if you can finish your studies quickly somehow, finish quickly and move on. There’s no time. And the first-year middle school English textbook — I studied that back in 6th grade. That’s such a small amount of text, yet they spend a whole year pounding on it. That’s why we can’t learn to speak. That’s a weak point for us Koreans. That too is now — that too is reality, and language has a real-life context too. I memorized many English words, but couldn’t understand a thing when Americans mumbled. This one, right? Because I have no real context. I lack a real-life context for language. Everything is like this.

That’s why if a Remnant just prepares a little, doors of answers open right up, I tell you. Remnants must not miss this — pray until you understand it. This must absolutely be understood. If older people come to understand this, they’ll realize why they concentrated for 40 days. Actually that’s not meant for Remnants. What was done over 40 days was, simply put, a complete “beating into shape,” so to speak. Right? That’s for old people. That’s for adults. It doesn’t work otherwise. That’s why Jesus took hold and intensively “cooked” it that way. Just take it as reference. Let us pray.

Summary

A woman who was told separately by the most famous fortune-tellers in Jeolla-do and Busan that she would die received Christ and confirmed that her destiny was changed, after hearing that her husband would die if she did not divorce him, and trembling in fear.

▣ Introduction _ The moment one knows Christ, one’s destiny is reversed (John 1:12, John 1:11). Anyone who has confirmed this fact cannot help but evangelize.

1. Our country was bound in a destiny of darkness for about 500 years, attacked by great powers, in incompetence, and trapped in idols. Since the light of the gospel entered our country, our destiny has been reversed to the point that we now do world missions.

2. As the gospel entered a household steeped in idolatry, the destiny of that household was reversed.

3. The moment I personally, in a life that had been hard to live, came to know the gospel, God changed my life.

▣ Main_ What is important to take away from the text

1. A meeting with Jesus Christ reverses a terrifying past destiny.

1) I discovered the fact that Satan was destroying us through 12 strategies, as I watched our struggling parents, nations receiving foreign aid, and churches distributing relief goods.

2) At this point, the covenant of why one is a Christian came clearly.

3) My destiny was reversed from this point on.

(1) Our status was changed.

(2) He gave us the authority to become children of God.

(3) We come to use that authority, and that is prayer – once I knew prayer, prayer became a joy and I was able to restore many things. And I began to understand what the blessing of the throne is, and what transcending time and space is.

2. The moment one truly meets Christ, today’s destiny is overturned.

▷ Even after being saved, people do not come out of the destiny made by unbelievers and Satan. Being saved yet remaining within it is double suffering. Seeing this urgently, I came to hold on to the conviction that we must live only by the gospel and only for evangelism. Just as the Jews could not escape their destiny (Matthew 20:2, 8), churchgoing people cannot escape from it either. We must open our eyes to this. We were in the most urgent and terrifying past destiny of Satan, and we came out of it. If so, we must also come out of today’s destiny of darkness.

▷ In today’s text there is a parable in which the vineyard owner gives the same one denarius to the workers he called at the third hour, the sixth hour, the ninth hour, and the eleventh hour. This means that whether one has believed for 30 years or for one year, if one believes in Jesus, one becomes a child of God who is saved equally.

1) Therefore, when we as children of God enjoy the blessing of the throne, today’s destiny is reversed. That is why Jesus spoke precisely and only about the throne.

(1) Matthew 5:3 Even when teaching for the very first time, He said the kingdom of heaven is yours.

(2) Matthew 6:10 Even when teaching the Lord’s Prayer, He said to pray for God’s kingdom to come.

(3) Matthew 6:33 He said that even without praying for other things, since God knows all, seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.

(4) Matthew 12:28-30 He said that when the Holy Spirit comes and Satan is bound, the kingdom of God has come.

(5) Matthew 28:16-20 After His resurrection, He promised to be with us, having all authority in heaven and on earth.

(6) Mark 16:15-20 It is written that the Lord, seated on the throne, worked.

(7) Acts 1:3 At Mt Olive at the very end, He explained the work of the kingdom of God for 40 days.

2) Find the throne and the 40 days.

(1) In the upper room, they devoted themselves only to prayer for 10 days (Acts 1:14).

(2) On the Lord’s Day they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the breaking of bread and fellowship, and only to prayer (Acts 2:42)

(3) Daily in the temple and in homes (Acts 2:46)

3) At this point Paul’s words became understandable – Ephesians 6:18 be alert at all times in the Spirit (24). 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 always rejoice, do not cease, and pray.

3. He said that the first will be last, and the last will be first. – He spoke of changing the future destiny.

1) That the first will become last means that although we who believed first appear to be small, our later generations will accomplish a work greater than ours. This means that this power will be passed on to later generations, to the gentiles, and to the world.

2) That the last will become first means that the history that will unfold after you will completely change the future destiny.

3) What is important is that a future age of disaster will come upon our country and the whole world. As the fourth industrial age comes, many will be covered by mental illness and great darkness and disaster. We must make sure preparation to change this.

▷ Therefore, we must hold as a covenant the promises Jesus gave us, knowing the future in full. You will be witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). Make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:16-20). I will be with you by the power of the throne (Mark 16:20). We must take hold of these promises as a covenant.

▷ We are to change our household’s and our country’s and my own past destiny through Christ. There may be many problems before us. At this time, do not remain in the destiny where Satan is playing tricks, but change it. What is even more important is the future to come. If we only take hold of this covenant, God will act.

▣ Conclusion_ Take hold of the covenant to change your past destiny, today’s destiny, and future destiny. From that point on, God will work.

▷ I told a missionary couple, If I were the missionary I would not accept help. Here I make them receive an answer. I change these people into those who overturn destiny by healing them. They will do world missions, I said.

▷ In 1987, when I planted the church, the first thing I did was this. The presbytery had assessed the smallest possible dues for us because we were a church plant, and I said I would pay more to the presbytery. Why? Because all of our past destiny must be reversed. Today must be changed.

▷ During my time as an associate pastor, I saw many believers spending their time on trivial things, being hurt, and dying of illness, and within that I sought out those with a calling and evangelized them. Just by doing that, God worked. Now something important is happening for world evangelization – the Remnant has risen. If so, then we are preparing to change our future destiny. Take hold of the covenant. From that point on, God will work.

In 1988, the Olympics were held in our country. That’s why the ’88 Olympics is talked about so much. I came to Yeongdo in 1987. The Olympics were held the following year. We were worshiping in a small church building, and it was a Wednesday. Back in the early days, there was a member, Deaconess Kim Pyeong-ji, who has since passed away. She brought a young woman with her. She was running a shop just below my place. She had gone to a relative’s wedding, and the mother said something strange there. She was the most famous fortune-teller in Jeolla-do, and she had gone to have her fortune told. She said that her daughter would die this year. Since the mother believed in the fortune-teller, wouldn’t she be worried? So she told her daughter. When the daughter heard it, since she didn’t believe in God, she felt bad hearing it. She came to Busan and told her husband about it. But the husband said, Why would you go get your fortune told in Jeolla-do, get it done here in Busan. So they went to the most famous fortune-teller in Busan. But strangely, the same answer came out. Now, how could this be? How could even a fortune-teller give the exact same answer? The woman became strange as a person. The deaconess brought her to the Wednesday service. She told me what had happened, and I told her clearly. To all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. Just before that, in John chapter 1 verse 11, it says, Jesus came as the light. That day, she came to know Jesus Christ and received Him through prayer. She shook all over and was covered in sweat.

Once, back in the early days, in Yeongdo, a team gathered at Deaconess Kim Geum-ae’s house to study the Bible. One woman was crouched in front, crying. So I told the person I was with to go bring her in. She came to the Bible study. The exact same thing happened here too. If you don’t get a divorce, your husband will die – that’s what the fortune-teller told her. That day she heard about Christ and received Him as her Savior. Both of these people are still very much alive today.

What am I saying? We tend to take the gospel for granted, but the moment you know Christ, your destiny is reversed. I have seen this. I confirmed it. I could not help but evangelize.

1. Our country was bound in a destiny of darkness for about 500 years, attacked by great powers, in incompetence, and trapped in idols. Since the light of the gospel entered our country, our destiny has been reversed to the point that we now do world missions.

Why do I say this? After the Republic of Korea was founded, the first president was President Rhee Syng-man. At that time I was still a young student. So I know the background from before Korea was even formed. Our country was completely bound in a destiny of darkness for about 500 years. It wasn’t only what we suffered from Japan. We suffered at the hands of every nation. Japan attacked us, but Russia, China, and the great powers kept attacking us too. Does it even make sense – when a king was to be enthroned, we needed permission from China? It’s unbelievable, but that’s how it was. So strange and incompetent was our situation that we were trapped in it. When a king designated the next king, isn’t that called the crown prince? Even to designate the crown prince, we needed China’s permission. That’s how it’s recorded in history, isn’t it? So we lived under Japanese oppression and then the Korean War broke out, and that was the era we lived through.

Many younger generations and scholars probably don’t know this well. It was at that time that the gospel came into our country. Before that, it was a completely idol-worshiping nation. As you know, as the gospel came in, universities and hospitals were built. Yonhee University and Severance Hospital were established. Combined, they became Yonsei. That’s how the name came together. At that time the king was Gojong, and the first telephone line in our country connected Emperor Gojong’s chamber to Dr. Horace Newton Allen, a missionary doctor who came to our country. Of course it was a bell – a Bell telephone. When the king felt unwell, he would ring that bell and the doctor would come. Fortunately, President Rhee Syng-man and Ahn Chang-ho and many such figures were all Christians. Our country was completely transformed. As the gospel came in, light shone brilliantly upon our country. Most people don’t know this well. All of our leaders, starting from Dr. Cho Man-sik, were elders and Christians. So the gospel did not simply come into our country – it has grown to the point where we now do world missions.

2. As the gospel entered a household steeped in idolatry, the destiny of that household was reversed.

I witnessed our own household, which was steeped in idolatry before the gospel came in. We had no idea what it meant to live by faith. We simply worshiped idols, bowing down to stones and to trees – that’s how our country lived. As the gospel entered our household, it transformed our family.

3. The moment I personally, in a life that had been hard to live, came to know the gospel, God changed my life.

One day I felt somehow burdened, from a young age. Life was hard. I didn’t know why. Then one day I came to know the gospel. God completely changed my life.

▣ Main_ What is important to take away from the text

As you look at today’s text, you must take away what is important.

1. A meeting with Jesus Christ reverses a terrifying past destiny.

First. Meeting Jesus Christ reverses a terrifying destiny. People don’t really understand this well. I can testify to this with certainty. I can testify with certainty even to a Buddhist monk. I can testify with certainty to people of any other religion. This is the promise God made – the Old Testament. Both Old and New Testament mean promise. He made that promise. He reversed us from a terrifying destiny. You must believe this.

1) I discovered the fact that Satan was destroying us through 12 strategies, as I watched our struggling parents, nations receiving foreign aid, and churches distributing relief goods.

I saw our struggling parents and the elders in our neighborhood. Something remained in my heart, though I didn’t know what it was. Somehow I felt in my heart, This isn’t right. I thought, even as a child, We shouldn’t be living like this. On the hillside below our house, there were cans stacked up high with English writing on them. Those of you who are older, like Elder Jeong, will remember this well. We received foreign aid and lived off of it. That’s why the writing on the cans was in English – because we were receiving it. As a child, I wore relief clothing distributed through the church in our yard, clothing that came from overseas. I’m not talking about that. We were completely in spiritual darkness. One day I discovered – I read the Bible and realized that Satan was completely destroying us through 12 strategies.

2) At this point, the covenant of why one is a Christian came clearly.

I was truly shocked. Why am I a Christian? Before, I didn’t even know – I just attended church.

3) My destiny was reversed from this point on.

One day, when the covenant of why I am a Christian came to me clearly, my destiny was reversed. It’s true. Now you look at me and think, Ah, the pastor must be an evangelist for world evangelization. But there are people who have known me since I was young. That’s right. One by one they are going to heaven, but there are still people who know me. They all say the same thing now –

We too must believe in God – people from my hometown say this. That’s how it has turned out now. We too must believe in Jesus.

When I got married into a good family, my wife’s family did not believe. It was a very good family, but there was one bad thing – they didn’t believe in Jesus. Looking at it originally, what do we call it in our language – they were originally good people. But they didn’t believe in Jesus. Isn’t evangelism my specialty? Yet with my wife’s family alone, I did not evangelize. Why? Because they would come to believe by seeing me. Now all the members of that family believe in Jesus. Isn’t that right?

(1) Our status was changed.

When one truly knows Christ, God overturns our destiny. He changes our status.

(2) He gave us the authority to become children of God.

He said, He gave us the authority to become children of God.

(3) We come to use that authority, and that is prayer – once I knew prayer, prayer became a joy and I was able to restore many things. And I began to understand what the blessing of the throne is, and what transcending time and space is.

From that point on I began to use that authority. Why? Because I learned that there was authority. I learned that this authority is prayer. Once I truly understood prayer, how happy I became. Because I know prayer, I am able to restore so much. I began to understand what the blessing of the throne is, what transcending time and space is. Do not worry, those of you who are new believers – you must recover this blessing.

2. The moment one truly meets Christ, today’s destiny is overturned.

At the moment one truly meets Christ, a second thing happens – what is it? Today’s destiny is overturned. Today! Of course the past must be resolved, but today is changed as well.

I served as an associate pastor at six churches over a long period. I noticed one thing. I realized that these people, though saved, still would not come out of the destiny made by unbelievers and Satan. If a person is unsaved, then it’s fine to remain in it, but if they are saved and still remain in it, that is double suffering. I saw this urgently, and so the word I held onto was, We must live only by the gospel, only for evangelism. You may look like ordinary people, but you are not. God has called you because of world evangelization.

Today’s text, in verses 2 and 8, shows this – just as churchgoing people cannot escape from that destiny, the Jews could not escape from theirs. Isn’t that right? The Jews could not escape. We must open our eyes to this. We were in the most urgent and terrifying past destiny of Satan, and we came out of it. If so, then we must come out of today’s destiny of darkness too.

Today Jesus told a parable. What was that parable about? There was a vineyard owner who had many workers doing his work. Since he needed workers, he called some at the third hour. He made a contract to pay them one denarius. Since he still lacked workers, he went out again and called others who were idle outside, calling them at the sixth hour. Then he went out again, and this owner called others around the ninth hour. He called some around the eleventh hour too. When the sun went down, he had to pay them, right? He gave everyone the same one denarius. He gave one denarius to the one who came in the morning, and one denarius to the one who was called just a little while before and worked. That’s the story. So those who came early in the day complained. Didn’t I work since morning? This person just came now. Why do you give the same amount? they asked. The owner answered like this: Didn’t you and I agree on one denarius? Didn’t I give you that? What have I done wrong? If I give one denarius to this person now, that is my own business. I did not break my promise with you. That’s the parable. This is something that ordinary people cannot understand. Whether you have believed for 30 years or for one year, if you believe in Jesus Christ, you are saved equally. You have become a child of God. That is why you can enjoy the blessing of the throne. From that point on, your destiny is overturned.

1) Therefore, when we as children of God enjoy the blessing of the throne, today’s destiny is reversed. That is why Jesus spoke precisely and only about the throne.

One day I came to understand what the blessing of the throne is. I confirmed that Jesus spoke these words. To be precise, I confirmed that Jesus spoke only these words. That’s right.

(1) Matthew 5:3 Even when teaching for the very first time, He said the kingdom of heaven is yours.

Even in His very first teaching, He said, The kingdom of heaven is yours. Blessed are those who mourn. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness and are persecuted. The kingdom of heaven is theirs. Those are Jesus’ words. He was speaking of the blessing of the throne.

(2) Matthew 6:10 Even when teaching the Lord’s Prayer, He said to pray for God’s kingdom to come.

Even when teaching the Lord’s Prayer, He said, Pray, Your kingdom come.

(3) Matthew 6:33 He said that even without praying for other things, since God knows all, seek first His kingdom and His righteousness.

You don’t need to pray for other things. God knows everything, He said. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, He said. Those are Jesus’ words.

(4) Matthew 12:28-30 He said that when the Holy Spirit comes and Satan is bound, the kingdom of God has come.

Jesus went in person and spoke this. He spoke to those who believed wrongly in many things. When the Holy Spirit comes and Satan is bound, the kingdom of God has come.

(5) Matthew 28:16-20 After His resurrection, He promised to be with us, having all authority in heaven and on earth.

After His resurrection Jesus said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. I will be with you always, to the very end of the age. Isn’t that right?

(6) Mark 16:15-20 It is written that the Lord, seated on the throne, worked.

At the end of Mark chapter 16, when the disciples went out everywhere to preach the word, it is written that the Lord, seated on the throne, worked.

(7) Acts 1:3 At Mt Olive at the very end, He explained the work of the kingdom of God for 40 days.

At Mt Olive, at the very end, for 40 days He explained the work of the kingdom of God. I came to see this blessing.

2) Find the throne and the 40 days.

So one day, alone, I found something in the Bible – the throne and the 40 days. I found it. You find it too.

(1) In the upper room, they devoted themselves only to prayer for 10 days (Acts 1:14).

(2) On the Lord’s Day they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the breaking of bread and fellowship, and only to prayer (Acts 2:42)

What is the Lord’s Day? They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to breaking bread and fellowship, and devoted themselves only to prayer.

(3) Daily in the temple and in homes (Acts 2:46)

Daily, in the temple, in their homes. I began to look at this one by one.

3) At this point Paul’s words became understandable – Ephesians 6:18 be alert at all times in the Spirit (24). 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 always rejoice, do not cease, and pray.

Then Paul says, Pray in the Spirit at all times. 24 hours. Always rejoice, never cease, and pray. I came to understand what this meant.

Everywhere we go, we have no power on our own, but God raises up a work that overturns that destiny. You possess this. You must enjoy it. Wherever you go, change the destiny that has fallen into darkness. Because of you, your household will change. Don’t be deceived. Those of you suffering hardship because of the church – don’t be deceived. Because of you, the darkness in the church will change. Isn’t that right? One of you is enough. No matter how dark a house is, one lamp is enough. No matter how dark your household may be, even one small lamp is enough to see by. Completely reverse this destiny of darkness. Don’t remain stuck in it. That’s right? You must not remain stuck in past wounds. Come out of it. Jesus is continuously teaching and showing us this right now.

3. He said that the first will be last, and the last will be first. – He spoke of changing the future destiny.

Then He spoke of a third point. In verse 16, He said this: The first will be last, and the last will be first. Those are Jesus’ words.

Many pastors have explained this – Those who believed long ago are actually slower, and those who believed later become first. That’s how they explained it. There may be people like that. Some believed late but believe well. That’s right. Some believed for a long time but do not believe well. Because that’s how it was continually preached, that’s how I understood it from childhood.

1) That the first will become last means that although we who believed first appear to be small, our later generations will accomplish a work greater than ours. This means that this power will be passed on to later generations, to the gentiles, and to the world.

No theologians have explained it this way. In particular, a man named Matthew Henry gave a very accurate interpretation. He explained through biblical evidence what this saying means. I agree with what he said. I think it is the same faith. What did he explain? You who now appear to be small, who believed first and are suffering, but to those who will believe later, tremendous things will happen. Though you who believed first appear to be small, your later generations will accomplish a greater work, a greater work than yours. That is Matthew Henry’s theological interpretation, and I think it is correct. You who believed first now appear to have nothing, appear small, but later a greater work, world evangelization, will be accomplished. This power will be passed on to your later generations, to the gentiles, and to the world. I think that is correct.

2) That the last will become first means that the history that will unfold after you will completely change the future destiny.

So what does this saying mean? The last will be first. What does this mean? The history after you, the future destiny, will be completely changed. You must build such a temple. Isn’t that right? Even unbelievers, over hundreds of years, have built idol temples.

3) What is important is that a future age of disaster will come upon our country and the whole world. As the fourth industrial age comes, many will be covered by mental illness and great darkness and disaster. We must make sure preparation to change this.

What is more important is that a future age of disaster is coming, for our country and for the whole world. We must change that. We must make certain preparation. Isn’t that right? We must be fully prepared.

Many of you may not fully understand, but look at what our headquarters is doing right now. We are determined to change this certain future disaster. When the fourth industrial age comes, there will be more mentally ill people. What are we going to do? We must change this. We need you. We need the Remnant.

When the fourth industrial age comes, many things will happen. Cryptocurrency transactions will replace banking transactions more and more. People will use blockchain more than going to a bank for cash transactions. This era is coming. People will no longer go shopping in person. Everything will be delivered when ordered. Doctors know this and are preparing. Treatments that don’t require hospital visits will emerge. It’s not far off – it’s coming soon. Things are different now from the past. Things are moving faster. It will come quickly.

In such times, greater disasters will come. COVID is a huge sign given to us. Strange diseases may continue in the future. Simply put, great darkness and disaster will cover us – so change your future destiny. Jesus knew this. Isn’t it true that before long the nation of Israel will disappear? Jesus knew this. And afterward, Rome – after Israel fell, less than ten years later, Pompeii in Rome erupted. Jesus knew all of this. Go to the ends of the earth and be witnesses. Make disciples of all nations. Simply put, I will be with you by the power of the throne. You must firmly take hold of this covenant today. We are to change our household’s and our country’s and my own past destiny through Christ. What is even more important? There may be many problems before us. Wherever we go, there may be many problems even within the church. Do not remain in the destiny where Satan is playing tricks – change it. What matters even more? The future. A great age of crisis is coming. Change it. If you only hold onto this covenant, God will act.

▣ Conclusion_ Take hold of the covenant to change your past destiny, today’s destiny, and future destiny. From that point on, God will work.

One day I went to a mission field for a gathering, and I met a very sharp missionary couple. So I said something to them. Since I saw hope in them, I said this: Turn this place into a headquarters for world evangelization. Don’t rely on help from Korea. Do at least that much. Then the wife began serving even more. She came to our church for a residential training program. During the residential training, she requested a meeting. At that time my room was on the second floor, and she came there to meet with me. She asked, But if you say that, pastor, how can mission fields survive when they rely on support? I said, Anyone needs support, and giving support is not really support – it’s an offering, that’s just how it’s done. What I told you was not about that. Looking at you, I sense you have some kind of ability. It seems you know God’s power. Try doing world missions properly. But from her expression, it seemed she didn’t quite understand. So I said this: If I were the missionary in that position, I would not accept help. I would not accept it. I would raise it up from there. I would make it so that they receive answers here. I would heal these people and change them into people who overturn destiny. They will go on to do world missions.

In 1987, when I first came to our church in this neighborhood, do you know the first thing I did? The very first thing – I said this to our elder. Looking at the presbytery records, I saw that as a church plant, we had been assessed the smallest dues. I said, Elder, we must pay more. So we went to the presbytery and said we would pay more. Much more. That way the presbytery could function well. But looking at me, people seemed to look at me with eyes that didn’t quite understand. Do you know why? We must reverse all of our past destiny. We must change today. Isn’t that right? That is what I am working on right now. We must reverse our past destiny. Today, calling those workers, that parable is a tremendous parable. It is a story about the kingdom of heaven. So I did just one thing.

During my time as an associate pastor, what did I do? Many believers were spending their time on trivial things, getting hurt, and dying of illness. So what I did as an associate pastor was this – I found those with a calling among them and said, Let’s evangelize together. That’s all I did. Just by doing that, God worked. So as you know, you may not realize how important your role in world evangelization is – when we first gathered, only a few people came. That’s right. Of course it was God who did it, but the prayer that you began has now spread throughout the whole world – so many Remnant have risen up. If so, then we are preparing to change our future destiny. Take firm hold of the covenant. From that point on, God will work. May today and this whole week be the best days, in the name of the Lord Jesus. Let us pray.

Prayer. God, we thank You for giving us salvation. Free us from our past and today’s destiny. Now make us the main characters who change our future destiny. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
