Personal Evangelization

2025.08.31 District Message 35th Week
Scripture Reading: Acts 1:8

On Sundays, you should act with the assurance that you will gain great health. Think of Sunday as the day when, in deep prayer, all things spiritual are restored. On Sundays, as much as possible, you should think of going deep into God’s Word rather than people’s talk. That’s why, in the Bible, when keeping the Sabbath, they originally prohibited doing anything—“don’t even carry a load”; “don’t go more than five ri (about 2 km).” What does that mean? It means, “Fix your eyes completely on God.”

In Acts it says, “They devoted themselves to prayer.” Why? Because you must gain strength by yourself.

“Personal Evangelization” (Sunday – six days)

This is personal evangelization. You must gain strength alone in order to save others. So on Sunday you should hold to the covenant enough to receive grace for the six days that follow, along with much Word and grace. Because people fail in this, many miss out on much.

The ones who miss this the most, in fact, are often ministers. Many pastors and evangelists—these important people—miss this (Sunday–six days). What happens then? They suffer great loss. Then the believers in each region are supposed to gain strength because of them, but they don’t. In the end, it becomes difficult.

The second group that most often misses this blessing are church officers. Because officers have a lot of work and many things to do, they get caught up in that and miss this. “I held to the Word on Sunday—wow, the answer really came like this.” You need to see this; if you don’t, you can’t exercise power.

Third, many who simply work in the church miss this a lot. There are many who stumble and leave while doing church work. Right? They should receive great blessing while serving, but they get tested and leave.

In this way we do many foolish, silly things. If you don’t gain this strength and you do the life of faith for ten years—what do you think will happen? On the contrary, if you have this strength and gain the strength of prayer for a few years, it’s a different story.

▣ Introduction_ 300%

Among the standards of prayer, the most important part we’ve often talked about is 300%.

  1. Seven Watchtowers (me)

Because God has prepared perfect “seven watchtowers” for me. For me.

  1. Seven Journeys (field)

And for the road I travel, He has prepared the field 100% to guide me.

  1. Seven Landmarks (absolute watchtower)

Along my path He has prepared 100% so that I can set up absolute watchtowers to save others.

That’s why we call it 300%. You must gain this strength. Remnants, too, can think, “Ah, I need to gain this strength and go out.”

Remnants overseas especially have no one to help them. You must fully have this strength. In particular, having visited America, I can see it’s a country with many things. So if remnants living in America don’t gain this strength, it becomes very difficult. But if they gain this strength that God has prepared, it can become the greatest opportunity. And there are many kids growing up without knowing anything. If you make them understand this, we call that the “three courts.”

▣ Main: Witnesses (evidence)

You need to look closely at the witnesses. Only then do you hold to the evidence.

I feel this a lot. When I meet pastors and elders—most of the people I meet are pastors and elders—they usually talk a lot about problems but don’t have the answer. And it shows that they have many difficulties. They talk about hardship, and you can see the signs. But I haven’t felt, “Ah, this person is holding firmly to the Word.” That’s a problem. Why keep talking about problems while being inside problems? You should be inside the answer. Right? There are hardships and blessings, but you should be inside the blessing. If you’re always inside difficulty, what will happen? Then every cell changes that way.

Remember this. Gain strength on Sunday, confirm it during the six days, and then go out with this strength. So when I went to Europe and saw remnants living alone and scattered, it was truly heartbreaking. There aren’t many churches, and they don’t know what to do. They can’t even eat meals at the right time because they’re alone. Then their spiritual strength drains away. Never do that. Remnants in Europe—especially where there’s no church and it’s hard—must hold to the message. Don’t listen to anyone else. Hold to God’s Word. And become witnesses.

  1. The Seven Remnants (RT 7)

Who did this especially? The seven remnants. They came to life even where no one could help them. You know the seven remnants well. How much did they pray? Joseph prayed in extreme hardship, and God showed Joseph world evangelization. That level is enough. And you know that Moses did not receive answers until he was 80. At 80 he still didn’t know what to do; he thought he was too old. But at Horeb he saw God’s grace. There God said He would bring Israel out of Egypt. He told Moses, “Take the people to offer the blood sacrifice.” That’s the real thing. From then on, works began to happen.

As in the passage, if you can pray from a young age, you have nothing to worry about. That’s why we do remnant training. When remnants go out into the world, it’s complex and difficult. They must win here. So it says, “Not one of Samuel’s words fell to the ground.”

And many multiethnic people are coming. Look at the Bible—this is the greatest opportunity. You must help them gain this (introduction) strength. Also, these days are an international era. In both overseas and Korea, many people are in international marriages. If those in international marriages gain this (introduction) strength, it becomes the best mission. If they don’t gain this strength, the longer they live together, the more they don’t match. A Korean woman said so—after decades, they still don’t match. If you receive this (introduction) grace, you become like Priscilla and Aquila. Remember: Aquila was a Jew, and Priscilla was a Roman. Because they had this (introduction) strength, they became the best mission team.

And as you get older, you keep getting weaker. So quickly restore this strength and use the remaining time to minister vigorously like Moses. In times when a nation was in trouble, figures like Daniel and Elisha appeared because they had this (introduction) blessing. With the watchtower of the throne and walking that journey, this (introduction) comes forth.

On the other hand, we should be thankful. Seeing abroad and at home, the next generation is much smarter than us, and seeing them receive grace—how can we not be thankful before God? Some remnants, seeing overseas, are on a different level. The parents had a very hard time when they came; they worked at laundries and restaurants—only that. But when the remnants studied, they entered the top groups. It’s different.

But what if this (introduction) is not there? Conversely, if it is there, what happens? They become witnesses.

  1. The Early Church

As you know, the Early Church received this blessing—the 300% blessing. Just note a few.

1) Acts 1:3

For forty days He spoke about the kingdom of God. We must receive this blessing too.

2) Acts 1:14

Holding to this covenant, they came down and in 1:14 it says they “devoted themselves” to prayer.

3) Acts 2:42

From then on worship began in a new way. Their eyes were different. “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching”—they could see the flow of the Word. Before, they looked at people and thought human thoughts, but now they see differently. “To fellowship”—before, they didn’t understand what the grace of salvation was. “To the breaking of bread.” Before, they just worshiped in the hall and went home, but not now. “To prayer.”

4) Acts 3:1–12

From then on their eyes were opened. It had been there before, but they couldn’t see it. Now they began to see the cripple at the temple gate called Beautiful. Everyone knew that gate. Especially that day, Jews scattered throughout the world had come to keep the feast. There Peter made a resolution. A truly miraculous thing happened. More than the cripple walking, what matters is Peter’s faith. He wasn’t originally like that. After he received power in the Mark’s Upper Room, he raised the cripple up.

5) Acts 8:4–8

When the church officers gained strength, things even the apostles hadn’t done took place—works broke out in Samaria.

  1. Paul’s Team

There’s another thing we must remember. The blessing does not end here. Peter’s Early Church team, in a sense, ended somewhat here (Main 2). So God used Paul’s team.

We must be very cautious about this part. Peter’s team did well at first, but a limitation came. This is something all believers and churches must beware of. The door to world missions had opened, but what did the church officers say to Peter? We often fuss about the “church atmosphere.” They were talking about it—the church atmosphere. People say many things: “We used to do it like this,” and so on. That’s why church officers are important. If just one officer has opened eyes, when people murmur he should say, “Isn’t this wrong? Going to Cornelius’s house is world evangelization. That’s not going to a Gentile’s house (in the human sense).” He should explain. But because the atmosphere was all like that, habit kicks in. They said to Peter—nonsense—“Why did you go into a Gentile’s house and eat?” That’s the original Jewish tradition. Jews do not eat in a Gentile’s house. It easily becomes like this. In fact, God moved the lampstand. Right? They couldn’t do world missions. This is what churches nationwide and worldwide must see and be careful about. If God decides not to use you, it’s over.

In America, churches that had been so revived started closing their doors. Now even elementary schoolers are developing mental illness. It’s happening. So a law was made: in elementary schools, teachers may at their discretion administer medication. If problems arise, the child must have documented visits to a psychiatrist. This is the situation now.

1) Acts 13:1–12

At this time God sent Paul’s team to the mission field. This is astonishing. For the first time in church history on earth, properly commissioned missionaries were sent.

2) Acts 16:6–10

God sent Paul’s team to Macedonia. What happened then?

3) Acts 17:1–9

God led Paul and the church officers to Thessalonica and worked. Thessalonica had been influenced by Alexander. Importantly, there was a highway from Thessalonica to Rome. And while other nations were Roman colonies, Thessalonica was not. Paul moved there—Spirit’s guidance. There were church officers there.

4) Acts 18:1–4

It didn’t end there. There was a place with severe idolatry. God sent Paul there. And there He sent the church officer couple, Priscilla and Aquila. This is completely God’s doing; people cannot do this.

5) Romans 16:1–27

Thus they stood in the ranks of Rome’s evangelization. You must remember up to this point.

  1. The Seven Remnants (RT 7)

The traits of the seven remnants have all been shown.

[Nobody, Nothing]

They won where there was no one to help. They won where there was nothing. That is precisely this (introduction) strength.

So remnants across the nation and world must regain strength. Make the greatest opportunity. If you live in Europe or those great powers, in America, and have this (introduction) strength, it becomes the greatest opportunity.

▣ Conclusion:  [Master]

Who is the master of all these secrets? I, you—we cannot be the master. Being the master means you can do as you please. Right? You cannot choose your birth or departure as you please. I am not my own master. Our Master is God. Keep that in mind and begin to pray. As in the lesson book, sovereignty, predestination, providence, decree, and economy all belong to God. Do “24, 25, eternity.” Then the throne system is formed.

  1. Sovereignty

Sovereignty belongs to God.

  1. 24, 25, 00

We need only know the 24, 25, eternity that enjoy this blessing.

  1. The system of the throne

Then finally the system of the throne is formed in you—the system of With, Immanuel, and Oneness.

May all the saints today be filled all day long with great grace you do not even realize, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer. We thank You, God. Let diseases we do not even know be healed all day long. Let spiritual illness be healed and give us strength. Work by the power of the throne for remnants and families scattered nationwide and worldwide. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Believers Called To Prophesy

2025.08.31 Sunday 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Ezekiel 37:1-10

▣ Introduction_ The reason for and answer to suffering (captivity)

There was a very large, wealthy household that had built a fine house. I went to visit, and on the way from the first floor to the second, there was a painting hanging there. I wondered what it was and saw a large ship in a storm, holding out so as not to capsize. Why would they hang that picture? It could mean, “This is so hard.” Or it could mean, “Even in such trials, we will overcome.” It is true that there is great difficulty. Before he died, Napoleon said on an island, “That water out there—the ocean—is the tears shed by humanity.” He also said, “That wind blowing from behind the mountains is the sound of the sighs of humanity.” He meant, “It is painful.” We, in every era, in every nation, and every person, are in such suffering. Therefore, there is no need to be flustered. Nor should we be afraid. Nor should we be careless. We must not fear the world, but we are not afraid. In such a world, you never know where a problem will arise. You never know in which nation a war will break out. You never know what disease may spread and take lives. Israel, who should have been blessed, became captives again. God’s Word clearly gives an important answer here. It explains why this happened.

1. Isaiah
Isaiah explains it this way.

1) Reason
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” What does that mean? It means mankind left God. The beginning of humanity’s greatest curse is not knowing God. We are not beasts; we ought to know God, but we left Him. In other words, life became unrelated to God.

2) Answer
Therefore, He promised to send the Christ, the One who solves all problems, and to give the blessing of Immanuel. This is recorded in Isaiah 7:14.

2. Jeremiah
Jeremiah says this—also about the Babylonian captivity. Why did such suffering come? “Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

3. Lamentations
And why must we pray?

(1) Reason
After Jeremiah comes the book of Lamentations. There, the true reasons are revealed. Why did this happen? “If the Ethiopian’s skin does not change and the leopard’s spots do not change, why has this changed?” While lamenting, it puts it this way: “Our offspring were born, but there was no one to give them milk. Our little children’s tongues stuck to the roofs of their mouths. They were dying because they could not eat bread.”

(2) Answer
“Cry out to the LORD.” It explains this way. All of this is the Babylonian captivity disease.

4. Ezekiel
Today in Ezekiel we are given an important answer.

1) Reason
It is not merely that the next generation’s tongues stuck to the roofs of their mouths. How could the people of our God come to this? They became like dry bones—completely. They dried out and were scattered, unable to live. It became absolutely impossible.

2) Answer
Here He speaks of the secret to revive them. He tells the secret of turning Israel, who became dry bones, into a heavenly army. This is extremely important. In a sense, the book of Ezekiel could be considered a conclusion. If Isaiah is the introduction you must know from the beginning, Ezekiel is the conclusion: “Make you and the people of Israel into the army of heaven.” Not dead bones that have been utterly destroyed, but make them an army.

3) How
In this brief time today, how can we receive this answer? Whenever you worship, as we mentioned in the lesson, the living Word must seize you. If not, you will, in fact, never receive answers. Only then does prayer become living and active. Only then will the Word become living and active in your life, and that becomes evangelism and makes you a witness. You must be able to enjoy this throughout the six days. Then, when the Fri–Sat–Sun time comes and you hear the core message, something important emerges. You must keep enjoying these answers, but because that hasn’t been happening, God gave Ezekiel this important message today.

▣ Main Message_ Three words

Remember three words today.

  1. By the Chebar Canal (Ezek. 3)
It appears in chapter 3, though we read only chapter 37 today. Ezekiel was among the captives with them. So it was more vivid. Daniel was in the palace, but Ezekiel was on the field. There is an important phrase:

1) Ezekiel at the Chebar Canal who knew the cause and prayed
“Ezekiel was by the Chebar Canal.” What does that mean? Those who know the cause and pray will overcome. This is very important. “He was by the Chebar Canal.” It’s a phrase to ponder. The Bible mentions “mountains” often—people prayed there. Some were by the “sea.” The Bible also mentions “wilderness,” and “a desolate place”—similar. Among those, those who received the greatest answers were often on mountains, by rivers, or at the sea. He knew why they had gone into Babylonian captivity. So, among the captives of Babylon, he wrote this. The Chebar Canal links the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers; it is a canal. If you visit places like the Panama Canal, you can sense it—Chebar is such a canal. There Ezekiel prayed by the Chebar Canal.

2) Ezekiel became mute
At that time, a new prophecy was given. Ezekiel’s wife died then. Ezekiel stopped all mourning and all customary acts. Chapter 33 records, “Ezekiel became mute.” Did he become mute by not speaking, or literally? That is not the point. If you truly want to receive answers, human words are unnecessary. Can human words accomplish it? If you truly want to change your destiny, words are unnecessary.
When I was in the second year of middle school, my father passed away. During the funeral, I did not cry. Some adults who lacked sense criticized me. They said I was heartless: “How can he not shed a single tear when his father has died?” I did not. Why? Words were unnecessary. I decided that when I grew up, I would succeed and do world evangelization. I decided never to talk about “money, money” for the rest of my life in the way the poor must. At that time, I decided not to be powerless, unable to evangelize, yet always babbling human words. That is why I have met you. How grateful I am.
Human words are unnecessary to turn dry bones into an army. That is the first condition. If you work at a company and there is much talk there, that person should not be there. Words are unnecessary. So it says he became mute. We would need to check once more whether he literally became mute or simply refrained from speaking—I do not know. “He became mute.”

3) God gave Ezekiel His Word and fulfilled it
God gave Ezekiel His Word and fulfilled it.

  1. Watchman (Ezek. 33)
Second, in chapter 33, God gave Ezekiel a second key word. Only when human words are unnecessary will God’s Word be given. At that time the word given was “watchman.”

1) Ezekiel 33
“Go and speak to those in danger now, so that they may live. If they do not hear and die, the responsibility is theirs; but if you do not tell them, the responsibility is yours.”

2) Ezekiel 34
In chapter 34, “Look at the many hungry sheep.”

3) Ezekiel 36
In chapter 36, He says, “Hear the word of the LORD.” The Word must come upon the watchman. Verse 1 records, “O mountains, hear the word of the LORD.” Why not “O people”? Why mountains? Because they do not change. He told the mountains to hear the word of the LORD. That is, it never changes. “I will bring back those who were taken.” In verse 11, “I will make you better than at first. You will no longer be bereaved of your children.” To Ezekiel, who did not rely on human speech, God gave His Word.
※ Human words are unnecessary. The living Word of God is necessary. That Word came, and he became a watchman.
If hardship comes to you, human words are unnecessary. God’s Word is necessary. A Word of power. The scattered remnants throughout the world need the living Word of God and His power. That Word came: the watchman.

  1. One who prophesies (spokesman) (Ezek. 37)
Third—remember and hold to this for answers; no need to complicate it. The third is: “Prophesy the Word. Prophesy to the breath (spirit).” What is that? A spokesman (one who declares on behalf). These three: Ezekiel, mute, standing by the Chebar Canal; Ezekiel, who received God’s Word and became a watchman; this is the blessing given to you. Now, speak the Word to the dead—be a spokesman. These three. This is what changes an age. Let’s consider a few aspects of such change.

1) “Can these dry bones live?”
God took Ezekiel to a valley. Everything had died. They had become bones—dried and scattered. It describes Israel’s condition. Suppose everything of yours has collapsed; there is no possibility. The bones are not even connected; they have dried and scattered—there is no hope. God showed him those bones and asked, “Ezekiel, can these bones live?” This is important. As a spokesman, as one who has the Word, as one who prays by the Chebar Canal, what must you know? He asked, “Can these bones live?” Can your church and your industry live? These are completely dry bones—can they live? At such moments we can give the wrong answer: “They cannot live.” That’s the wrong answer—unbelief. How can they live when all is dead? On the other hand, we could say, “Yes, they can live.” That is bluster. How can they live when all is dead? Ezekiel, who held to the covenant, answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.” In simple terms: “You can do it, Lord.”

2) “Prophesy to these bones the Word of God.”
Then He said, “Prophesy to these bones.” Prophecy here is not my words; it is to declare God’s Word. We use the term “Word” respectfully in Korean speech—when addressing someone above us. We say, “Please speak ( 말씀 ),” to a parent or someone we respect; to a child, we would say, “say ( 말 ).” We also use terms like “speech pattern” and “tone.” A single harsh tone can drive someone to suicide; a single helpful word can revive someone. Then how much more to “prophesy the Word of God.” For pastors, this is crucial—never share your own thoughts; declare God’s Word. When that was done, the bones began to live and move.

(1) God’s Word
God’s Word is the Word of creation. The Word is God. The Word became flesh and came to this earth. The Word is living and active. Declare this Word. This is extremely important.

(2) Wait until the Word is fulfilled; when it is, follow it
Elders and pastors, do not be impatient. Wait until the Word is fulfilled; when it is, follow it. Cause the Word to be fulfilled in your field of industry. Then it will do. Simply put, the prophesied Word of God was fulfilled. He saw that timetable.

3) “Prophesy to the breath.”
After that, He said, “Breathe the breath (spirit) into them.” Not that you breathe it in, but “Prophesy to the breath.” You have the qualification to declare God’s Word. Right?

(1) You have the qualification and authority to declare God’s Word
You have the qualification and authority to declare God’s Word. Convey it.
When I came to Yeongdo in 1987, I said, “In the morning first service, I will start from Genesis.” And, “In the evening, because we must evangelize, I will start from Acts.” “Because God’s Word is living, by the time we finish Genesis, God will have worked within it.” And that is what happened. Even before Genesis ended, people from across the nation and the world began to come to our church to receive training. Those who worry about “What will become of us?”—it will be fine.

(2) To the dying, declare the power and life of the throne; declare to the breath so the Holy Spirit will work
“Declare God’s Word to those who are dying. Declare to the breath so the power and life of the throne will enter, so the Holy Spirit will work. It is not you who breathe it in; declare it.” Remember this.

(3) If you take true courage, it is imprinted in your brain; it connects to your soul, meets the Word, and meets the throne
People do not realize how tremendous our soul and brain are. If you say, “I’m going to die,” it becomes imprinted in the brain; the brain instructs accordingly. This is scientific—medical. If you truly muster courage and say, “I can do it,” the brain understands and instructs accordingly. “You can live.” This connects with our soul; it meets the Word, and meets the throne. Tremendous. Therefore, you must go with this important power.

※ In the name of Jesus Christ, declare the Word and declare to the breath. This is what turns them into an army.
Because you already have the Word, first declare the Word wherever you go. Declare to the breath. In the name of Christ. In some cases, binding the darkness is also a declaration. “In the name of Jesus Christ, let this Satan be bound.” Right? These astounding people rose and became an army.

▣ Conclusion_ How you worship is crucial (Ezek. 47)

In conclusion, that was not the end. He led him into the temple in chapter 47. What does that mean? How you now worship is crucial. There is something very important here.

  1. You must entrust everything to God. Change your worries, thoughts, words, and prayers (Ezek. 47:1–5).
He led him where the water flowed. The water came up to the ankles—after measuring a thousand cubits. “Walk.” Easy enough. Then He took him to deeper water. The water reached the knees; still manageable. Then deeper; the water reached the waist—walking became harder. A bit deeper; water up to the chest—walking was nearly impossible; he had to swim. A little further; the water became deep—you could not walk. What must you do? Entrust your body to the water and swim. That is the message.

1) God has a plan of the Word for you
Today you must entrust everything—cast your cares. Why? Because God has a plan of the Word for you. Surely. Elders, the first thing to beware of is worry—cast it off. Why? Because you are important. In the end, when you finish life, it will be as you have spoken. It will be as you worried. Remember this.

2) The One who guards you and the church 100% is the LORD God
“I have nothing”—not so. Change your words, thoughts, and prayers. As a child I always said, “I don’t need money. Why? Because I am not poor. My parents may be poor, but not me.” Why must I live like that? Right? It was fulfilled exactly. “I can overcome sickness.” Why? Because I must do world evangelization. If God makes me sick, so be it—I can go home. Why should that be a problem for me? Do not worry. Many worry. The One who guards you 100% and guards the church 100% is the LORD God.

3) Job 3:25; 1 Pet. 5:7–8; Eph. 4:26–27; Eph. 6:18
Why were they taken captive? Because they had to do world evangelization—and since they did not realize it, He sent them. Simple. Cast all your cares on God.
In Job 3:25, Satan struck the area Job constantly worried about. “Cast all your anxieties on Him. Your adversary the devil prowls around, seeking someone to devour”—he knows what you worry about. Do not be angry and sin; do not give the devil a foothold (Eph. 4:27). The devil uses many strategies to topple you. Therefore, “pray at all times in the Spirit” (Eph. 6:18). He led him there. In the temple, as the water rose and I was immersed, I had to entrust myself. I preach this, but my personal experience is lacking—because my mother imprinted a fear of water in me in childhood. I still cannot swim. If I fall in, I must walk out—that’s how I am. Childhood imprinting is fearful. Someone texted me: “Swimming is simple. Just entrust your body.” I understand the words, but still. God led humanity into deep water. Even if you cannot swim, it’s okay. Entrust all your anxieties.

  1. The water flowing from the pulpit revived the sea and every living thing (Ezek. 47:6–9)
Then He brought him to the riverbank. This power began to revive the sea. Indeed, verse 9 says the water from the sanctuary revived the sea and every living creature.
  2. This water went to each tribe and began to revive the dead land (Ezek. 48)
It revived the fruit trees. Where did it go? To each tribe. It began to revive the dead land. That is chapter 48—revival began to spread. Indeed.

※ Worship that revives three things
Through the Word, worship revives three things. The Word becomes living and active, prayer becomes living and active, and the evidence of evangelism becomes living and active—that is what you see throughout the six days.
We mentioned Rockefeller—not that he is the issue; you can receive even greater answers. Rockefeller only evangelized America; we are doing world evangelization. We spoke of Wanamaker—one who triumphed holding to the living Word. And of Lincoln—those people only saved America. With this covenant—the living Word—you are the ones doing world evangelization. Hold firmly to this covenant.

1) You must actually have the Word
The most important thing is to actually possess the Word. Even pastors—let alone elders—when I meet them, I mostly do not speak; I listen. I hear their difficulties and pains, but they do not have the Word. You will never receive answers. Pastors must revive the spirit of the church; otherwise, it is a big problem. It is not by our ability; we must have the Word.

2) Do not transmit your personality; transmit the Word
Many assistant ministers—are you going to transmit your personality? You will all be dismissed if so. Transmit the Word. In this age, important elders should not be mired in difficulties; they must hold to the Word. Evidence will surely come one day—the Word will come alive.
I said this yesterday: preaching and teaching are my “work.” My suit is my work clothes. When I am not preaching and go out, I wear jeans—my “special” clothes. Yesterday I had a meal with some of our executive elders. Elder Kim Gi-Su looked at me and said, “Wow, pastor, that’s very stylish.” I thought to myself, “This elder has the keenest spiritual eyesight I’ve ever seen,” because no one has ever called me stylish. No one. But that elder did. People are pleased when someone understands them even a little.

3) If we enjoy the Word of God working within us, we have nothing to fear
If you enjoy the Word of God working within you, there is nothing to fear. You will surely do world evangelization. Let us pray.

Prayer. We give thanks to God. We thank You for calling us to do world evangelization. Grant power and fresh grace. May all the glory be to God. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

Scattered Disciples the Church Must See

2025.08.30 Scattered Disciples
The Start of Eternal Answers of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd RUTC to Save the 237 Nations and the 5000 Tribes (35)
– Model 31 of 7∙7∙7 –
Scripture Reading: Acts 3:1-12

And finally, where must we open our eyes to? Always? There are many disciples who are waiting. We have not met them yet, right? There are many who are thirsty. There are many who are sick. There are many empty places in the field. Golden fishing grounds are turning into blind spots and disaster zones. Where must you turn your eyes? This is the conclusion: to the scattered disciples. You must turn your eyes to them.

1. Acts 2:9-11
You must open your eyes to Acts 2:9, 10, and 11. There is not much to do. The multiethnic people must meet you and understand this (the core introduction). Then these kinds of works (the core main point) will come forth. You must never lose hold of this.

2. Acts 3:1-12
Why did the cripple at the temple gate called Beautiful rise up? It was the day when Jews scattered throughout the whole world came. It was the gate where all the Jews scattered across the world would pass. You understand what this means, right? So without going far, they are all here. They are here, and they are coming.

3. Acts 8:4-8
Now look at Acts 8:4 through 8. This is where you must open your eyes, right? The completely abandoned remnants. They are all there.

4. Acts 8:26-40
And Acts 8:26 through 40. Disciples who have been prepared as if by miracle. To you, it may seem like just one person. That is the misconception. You may think that what you are doing at church is just one small thing, but that is a misconception. It is the work of changing an age.

A long time ago, though our situation was difficult, a student who had graduated from a prestigious university in England came to our house. I asked why he came, and he said he came to receive evangelism training. It was unbelievable, right? So I thought to myself, “How am I going to train this friend? He needs to stay for several months at least.” So I told him, “Stay at my house,” and gave him a room. Then I took him with me wherever I went. If I went to a conference, I took him with me. If I went around the field to do Darakbang meetings, I took him with me. Then when we came home, we discussed the evangelism message. That is no small thing. What kind of influence that had, I do not know. But after that, God opened the doors to the world. That is how your ministry works. Do not lose hold of this. Do not miss those who have come among the scattered disciples. You will meet them.

5. Acts 11:19
Among those who brought about the greatest answers in Scripture, the key phrase is “the scattered disciples”—the disciples who were scattered because of persecution.

6. Acts 13, 16, 19 (Renewal)
What do we see in Acts 13, 16, and 19? Here, you will see the greatest renewal. There is so much. There are so many places where you can save churches, save fields, and receive answers. Frankly, pastors do not even need to go. Just send them. Starting now, begin praying seriously, find just twelve people, and send them. The believers must truly taste this for themselves.

7. 237 – 5000
Finally, “You must also see Rome.” This refers to the 237 nations and the 5000 people groups. Having the eyes to see the scattered disciples. Through this, God carries out many works.

During the three-day weekend age, what becomes imprinted now will lead to works arising. Today and tomorrow, during the deep prayers in worship, this will take root. Holding onto this Word, as you pray throughout the six days, it becomes completely rooted into your nature.

To conclude: remnants across the nation and the world, it does not have to be the three-day weekend. Concentrate just once. What to possess first, what to see first, and the 300% to prepare in advance. Do it just once, and you will have testimonies of what happens.

In reality, the reason I came to see all this was not because I made so many preparations. I just saw it once, and works arose. I do not even know the methods. God simply works. How much blessing and grace did I receive? I have not even had time to be sick. There has been no time for that. If you experience this once, pastors, make the resolution: “I will send these witnesses to twelve places.” Make the resolution and carry it out clearly. Then works will arise. And especially, elders, pray. Let us pray.

Prayer. Father, we thank You. May today become the day of assurance and resolution. May today become a day of blessing. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Lecture 1 「Paul’s Guidance」 (Ac 13:1-4)
Lecture 2 「Paul’s Ministry」 (Ac 13:5-12)
Lecture 3 「Paul’s Turning Point」 (Ac 16:6-10)
Lecture 4 「Paul’s Privilege」 (Php 2:9-11)

We in Gyeongnam have made a world-class preparation. Because this broadcast goes out to the entire world. We prepared exceedingly well. For remnants, even one or two times of concentration will carry them for a lifetime. Do not ever miss it; during the three-day weekend age, it is fine even if you do not understand. And even if you happen to concentrate on something wrong, it is fine. God will surely correct it rightly. So when the three-day weekend age comes, do not just let it slip by—there is much we need to do for the remnants right now.

▣ Introduction

1. What to possess first [Prayer] 7·7·7
You must give what must be possessed first. What must be possessed right now is to take prayer and go with the seven bartizans, the journey, and the guidepost. Even doing just this, answers come to the remnants.

2. What to see first [Work] Evidence
And you must, without fail, cause them to see once, in advance, during the remnant years. What is that? It is the works concerning this 7·7·7. How do you produce works? By calling the people of the field or going to see; even if they see the evidence just once, they become witnesses.

Adults all have some norms. Why? Because what was imprinted once when we were young keeps bringing answers. So if you do not do this during the remnant years, it will not do.

3. Prepare in advance
And then you must let them know what to prepare in advance during the remnant years. You can do this together.

[ Talents ]
It is good if there are talents, but even if there are none, it is fine.

1. Word confirmation (editing)
Together with the remnants, edit many materials until the Word is confirmed. There is only the three-day weekend age for this. You must let them have such experiences. It will last a lifetime. Or take a certain topic and keep editing the facts until the Word is confirmed.

2. Prayer confirmation (designing/architecting)
It will not do if they do not have this kind of experience. Architect it until prayer is confirmed. Even once is enough.

3. Field (design)
And before our remnants finally go out, they must be able to see the field. This is called design. You must build this without fail. So do not be discouraged. When you go to the field, in most cases it is not working. Right? That must be broken at once. Most churches are not working. It is not just us—most. And when you meet individuals, in most cases it is not working. Then what should you do? Their work is not being done rightly either. Everyone is living in hardship like that.

[ Platform ]
So even if you give just a little strength that provides some evidence there, works arise. What do we call this? Wherever you go, make it so that it can be something you carry with you. This is called a platform. You must be able to do this well.

When I was a remnant, and later as I studied, times were hard. I was not the only one having a hard time. Everyone was. So I thought, “What should I do about this?” It does not matter. The hardest thing for me in childhood was money. I had none. Then what should I do? Do not spend. Do not spend, and find something more valuable than that. What is more valuable are books and the evangelism field.

So I discovered an enormous amount. People fail over a difference as thin as a sheet of paper. So we went together, evangelism began to take place, and as we gained strength through prayer, these people began changing. Frankly, we did not do much. When you look at most others, they do not understand; they are in conflict. If you just understand a little and go beyond the conflicts, that is enough, but most remain there.

So you remnants, when you go to the field in the future, save everyone. You must save. Save your workplace—unconditionally. Save the field. Then, even if you do nothing, a platform will be formed. This was the seven remnants. Joseph went as a slave but saved Potiphar’s house. He even went to prison and saved the prison. And when he met the king, he saved the world.

[ The bartizan of prayer ]
So it is a slight difference. Remnants, now build this bartizan of prayer (Lessons 1–2). Now. You must build it now.

[ The journey of prayer ]
Remnants, from now on, build the journey of prayer (Lesson 3). Pastors, truly, start your life anew. Leave the existing members as they are; let the existing members gain strength in their own way, and find about a dozen new regions.

[ Platform, watchtower, antenna ]
Go there and build a platform. Build the platform, and because they must see the light there, set up a watchtower. There, set up a full antenna.

[ The guidepost of prayer ]
This is called setting up a guidepost by prayer. In the end, our life is bartizan, journey, and guidepost. What is it on the road the remnants will travel? I set up a bartizan—within myself. With that I go on the journey, and I set up a guidepost and come away. You must start this now. So there will be some difficulties at first. Endure and do it. Thus, let us leave the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of my life. Pray only that prayer. If you keep offering other prayers, it becomes difficult. Pray only that prayer. Make it so that on the road the remnants travel, a platform, a watchtower, and an antenna are formed. You must do this without fail. Then revival will surely come.

▣ Main Point
So now the timetable of true beginning has come. How can we do this? This is today’s main point. You must look at four things. So then, how do we carry out world evangelization?

Lesson 1. Acts 13:1–4 “Paul’s Guidance”
You could call this the beginning of Paul—the guidance. Read Scripture carefully.

Lesson 2. Acts 13:5–12 “Paul’s Ministry”
What did Paul do while going into the field? Paul’s ministry.

These are all the introduction—the important preparations of our life.

Lesson 3. Acts 16:6–10 “Paul’s Turning Point”
When truly doing world evangelization, it is only by the work of the Holy Spirit. Look at these Scripture passages. Paul’s turning point.

Remnants must, before becoming adults, surely organize this once. Before going out, remnants must surely organize this. I have said this several times before—for the remnants, I have said it multiple times. I tried to schedule my life thoroughly by a timetable, but it did not work. As a child, there was no timetable to make—go to school and come home. What timetable is there? Strangely, the thought that entered me in childhood was, “I must set a schedule well.” So as a child, I made one a few times. This is important. I did not carry out a single one. But one day I received the answer that I must carry a very important schedule around. Looking back, it is all from childhood. Everything came from childhood.

While attending elementary school, unlike other kids (then—now everyone does), I studied English because my mother made me do it. In elementary school, nobody did that then. But I did. It helps. To this day I use English for a lot of source reading. If, during the remnant years, this (Introduction) were completely prepared, world evangelization would arise quickly. Therefore, start anew the work of every church leader and the ministry of every pastor. You must make a resolution. How? Only by the guidance of the Holy Spirit can we overcome (Acts 13:1–4). And only by the work of the Holy Spirit can we overcome this darkness (Acts 13:5–12). Only by the guidance of the Holy Spirit can we meet the turning point of our life (Acts 16:6–10).

Lesson 4. Philippians 2:9–11 “Paul’s Privilege”
Thus Paul came to enjoy tremendous answers. Philippians 2:9, 10, 11. This is Paul receiving great grace and enjoying Paul’s privilege. Christ became the King of kings and the Lord of lords. What preceded this? “Though Christ suffered, He became the King of kings.” You must teach this to the remnants in advance. All your sufferings will become glory. Pastors must believe this. All difficulties will become blessings. It is certain. For those who are in Christ, even what looks like ruin is not ruin. Why? History has borne witness. Scripture has borne witness. You must imprint this into the remnants.

Lesson 1. Acts 13:1–4 “Paul’s Guidance”

1. Acts 9:1–15 (Answer)
So the very first forum must be that Paul met Christ and resolved every answer. This is important. If our elders and church leaders continue doing church work without resolving answers in Christ, they will truly suffer. And they cannot just quit. You must think about this once in your life. If the pastor has not resolved completely in Christ, ministry will not work. You must resolve it. If the remnant has completely resolved in Christ—world evangelization begins. You must actually and seriously forum this. Right? Seriously. Even if you are busy, you can do it. When I used to hold meetings—like at Suyeongro—seeing the kids was so frustrating. I asked them one by one, “Do you know Christ? Do you think you are truly a child of God?” Most did not know. Then how will they live the life of faith with assurance? You must resolve it.

2. Acts 11:25–26
And what is the second important thing? Paul completely resolved concerning training here. It was a short time.

3. Acts 13:1–4
And if the Holy Spirit works upon you and guides your work, place, and people, no one can stop you. Please, try it just once. Do not do anything else until this appears. Pray until this is seen. Once the door opens even once, works begin to arise—from then on.

Lesson 2. Acts 13:5–12 “Paul’s Ministry” (Darkness)
At this time, all the darkness that arose against Paul was broken.

1. Spiritual problems
Paul confessed this. Originally, Paul had spiritual problems. As he met Christ, they began to be resolved.

2. Spiritual answers
As Paul met Christ and received this (Lesson 1) training, he obtained complete spiritual answers. Quietly open the three-day weekend age and let our remnants hear it even once. During the remnant years, it is different from you. Even if they simply listen carefully, works arise. Thus the three-day weekend is a golden chance. Therefore, remnants have no need at all to worry about the future. Adults likewise have no need. Make everything 300%. Then works will surely arise.

3. Nephilim
Finally, the spiritual battle begins, and the Nephilim are completely broken. This is the covenant that must surely arise for the remnants.

Lesson 3. Acts 16:6–10 “Paul’s Turning Point”

1. The reason doors close – The turning point of the age
Why do doors close on the road we travel? At such times we become discouraged or take another path. At that very time, God gives a turning point of the age.

2. Meetings – Absolute bartizan
From this time on, Paul’s meetings were changed into absolute bartizans. And what else?

3. 24·25·Eternity
Paul now came to enjoy the covenant of 24, 25, and eternity. If this is discovered by the remnants, then in fact the answers are finished.

Lesson 4. Philippians 2:9–11 “Paul’s Privilege”

1. Prison
But why did Paul end up in prison? If you do not obtain this answer, you cannot do world evangelization. Why did Paul go to prison? He received God’s greatest privilege. Look at that timetable.

2. Field
Not only that, but even at the field of persecution, Paul received God’s greatest privilege. Among these, what is the greatest privilege?

3. Rome
Rome was entrusted to him. “You must also see Rome.”
Even if you forget everything else, it is fine. During the remnant years, before going out into the world, you must imprint this at least once. From what I see, when I look at believers, in terms of spiritual power they are the same as unbelievers. You must hurry. Our remnants must prepare quickly. Because they are the same as unbelievers, when they go out, they cannot overcome unbelievers. And if things go wrong, they suffer for a lifetime. This must change. Our church leaders and pastors must now completely start anew in the remainder of your life. You must do what is real—once. Thus, are we not receiving various signs? Now you must do what is real.

The Preparation of the Three Courtyards

2025.08.30 Remnant and TCK Study of Evangelism
The Evangelist’s Life and the Start of Eternal Answers of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd RUTC (35)
– Model 31 of the 3 Courtyards –
Scripture Reading: John 2:12-25

We absolutely must prepare the three courtyards. Jesus became angry because these courtyards were absent. This is John 2:12–25.
Jesus became furious and overturned the tables with a whip, and that place is the children’s courtyard. Where they gathered animals to sell for profit and carried out inspections—that is the Gentiles’ courtyard. Where they exchanged coins—that is the courtyard of prayer and healing. So Jesus was indignant—deeply angered. Without these, the church will close its doors. And without these, there is no need for a church to exist. Thus churches worldwide are rapidly closing. It is not merely that they are closing; it is only natural that they close. You must carry this out in earnest.

▣ Introduction: Make it in advance

Especially you remnants—make it in advance.

1. Covenant – What is the covenant God has given me? Find it in advance. You must find this. This is called the Covenant. You must discover this.
Abraham Lincoln held to the covenant when he was young—Galatians 3:28. He held it in childhood. So history had no choice but to arise. And he held the covenant precisely, befitting someone who would become a statesman. That is why the emancipation of Black people took place.
2. Vision (Disaster) – Therefore you must be able to see, in advance, the zones of disaster. People say, “Wow, the world is enviable.” There may be things to envy, but all of that is a disaster zone. “That person is scary.” Not so—he is thrashing about. “Oh, that person is giving me such a hard time.” He is groaning. Right? Only when you can see disaster will vision arise. You must see this in advance.
3. Dream (24) – Then what must I do as 24 right now? This must become visible to you. This is called Dream. It is different from the “dream” the world talks about. “I will fulfill a far-off dream”—that may be said, but that is not it. We— the seven remnants—lived 24. To the point that Joseph even dreamed while he slept. Right? This dream is not talking about that kind of dream; it is the dream to save this (covenant) and to fulfill the vision. It must, unconditionally, be 24. Anything that cannot be 24 is not a dream. It will not be fulfilled. You must have it in advance.
4. Image (25) – Why must we pray? Because you must have 25 in advance. This is called being clothed with the image of God the Creator. God made man in the image of God—that word “image.” We often use “image” generally, but it is that word.
5. Practice (eternity) – You must prepare what is eternal. It is making a work (a masterpiece). It must be practical—Practice. This is how you make it.
What combines these is called CVDIP.

▣ Main Point

Then how should we build them? How do we build the three courtyards? We must return to Scripture.

1. Acts 17:1; 18:4; 19:8 – The synagogue [Children’s courtyard]
Acts 17:1; 18:4; 19:8 speak of the synagogue. You must build the children’s courtyard.
2. Acts 13:1–4; 16:6–10; 19:1–8 [Gentiles’ courtyard]
In Acts 13:1–4 they were completely led by the Holy Spirit—to Macedonia. And before going to the hall of Tyrannus, the kingdom of God; before going to Rome. This is called the Gentiles’ courtyard. They found it.
3. Acts 19:8–20 [Courtyard of healing (prayer)]
And in Acts 13, 16, and 19 they healed the sick. This is called the courtyard of healing and prayer.
You must build these three without fail. Therefore, we need to look closely.

1) Acts 17:1; 18:4; 19:8 – The synagogue [Children’s courtyard]
(1) Problem – Answer (Christ) – In Acts 17:1, what was proclaimed in the synagogue? What are the problems of the whole world, and what is the answer? It was explained—the Christ—clearly explained.
(2) First – Worship – Then what? What must you receive first? You must gain spiritual strength—worship. Remnants must, unconditionally, succeed in worship. This was the Sabbath.
(3) The secret of answers – The throne – What is the secret of answers? Acts 19:8—the kingdom of God, the throne.
Remnants must know this. In the children’s courtyard you must teach this. Why is it Christ, and does prayer take place? It must be made to take place. Worship. Today and tomorrow, hold to the covenant and do not look at anything else. You must let the Word live and work. Why, on the Lord’s Day, using humanism like that—being so engrossed in worldly affairs and other people’s matters—living such a foolish life; this is why world evangelization does not happen. You who are hearing today’s message, and you remnants, must, unconditionally, receive this blessing.

2) Acts 13:1–4; 16:6–10; 19:1–8 [Gentiles’ courtyard]
What is the Gentiles’ courtyard?
(1) The Holy Spirit – In 13:1, what is it? Without the work of the Holy Spirit, it cannot be done. You cannot save the world.
(2) Renewal – In 16:6, to Macedonia—what is it? Unless you renew, you cannot see the new.
(3) Recovery – In 19:1–8, what is it? Recover the bartizan, journey, and guidepost that Christ has given. This is the answer.

3) Acts 19:8–20 [Courtyard of healing (prayer)]
What is the courtyard of healing?
Nephilim – Heal the Nephilim. We have doctors; but the church is not there merely to treat diseases. Heal the Nephilim. Even doctors cannot cure this. Therefore, Nephilim healing—you can bring healing, but because you are not doing it, it becomes a problem.
(1) Darkness – Heal the darkness. During worship on the Lord’s Day, remnants must gain spiritual strength, and you must gain the strength by which healing takes place. In Scripture—see Acts 13—they first broke the darkness.
(2) Spiritual healing – In Acts 16:16–18, spiritual healing came first.
(3) Physical healing – What came out in 19:8–20? At that time, physical healing took place. When spiritual healing comes, physical healing follows.

▣ Conclusion

The best power is to enjoy it now. Is that so? The moment you are assured, it is imprinted in the brain. This has been scientifically demonstrated. If you say, “I can’t go on living,” the brain thinks that way—it is transmitted. If you say, “I can do it,” the brain understands it that way. Truly—scientifically—the brain does this. The moment you are discouraged, the brain recognizes it and “does” discouragement—for you. Now. During worship. At times you must cry out in prayer. And then where? It is imprinted in the soul. Without fail.
[Brain] – Some people speak ill of others 24 (hours). That becomes densely imprinted in the brain.
[Soul] – It is imprinted in the soul.
[The throne] – At last it is now imprinted at the throne.
Revelation 8:3–5.
Revelation 8:3–5—now, during worship; when you hold the three-day weekend age; during tomorrow’s worship. Right? Jesus said, “According to your faith be it done to you,” and that person rose and went. I think that is correct. Why? Because when we believe, such things happen. When the Holy Spirit works, these—your brain, your soul, the throne—are healed.
I bless you remnants to surely become the protagonists of the three-day weekend age in the name of Jesus Christ. In the remaining time, find what is important. I will pray.

Prayer. We thank God. Let this be a time of healing. Let this be a time of gaining spiritual strength. Let this be a time when darkness is broken. Let this be a time when the power of the throne appears. Grant us the strength to achieve world evangelization. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Worship of Church Officers and Businesspeople

2025.08.30 Business Missions
The 237 Nations and the Start of Eternal Answers of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd RUTC (35)
– Bartizan 31 of the 3-day Weekend Age –
Church Officers Graduate School United Worship
Scripture Reading: Acts 18:1-4

Thank you. This song is the first one I wrote lyrics for. It also became the musical foundation for “The Journey of the Covenant.” The composition was by Jung Jin-uk. A professor at Korea’s top music university praised this piece. So as we went out to the whole world and staged the “Journey of the Covenant” musical, people everywhere watched it. I was astonished—there was someone who had seen our musical twenty times. He said he’d seen it twenty times and gave an evaluation. I think he must be a professional in that field. He also said the music was excellent. It’s that kind of song.

“Church Leader (Work) Worship”
Today is our united worship for church leaders. The greatest blessing church leaders must discover is worship. Do not miss the three-day weekend age. In the three-day weekend age, the most important thing is that the Word should live and work in you. Otherwise, there’s no reason for us to gather like this and then worship again tomorrow. For all church leaders, nothing else is necessary. When you worship today and tomorrow, the Word must live and work in you. Only then does prayer also live and work. According to its fruit, evangelism happens.

▣ Introduction

  1. [Answer] – Word, prayer, witness (evangelism, missions)
Church leaders must certainly receive that answer. You must receive the answer that the Word lives and works. Other things are not particularly important. Prayer must live and work. Only then do you become witnesses. That is what we call evangelism and missions. You must surely receive this answer.
  2. Church – the answer that evangelism takes place
And our church now must receive the answer that evangelism takes place. My conclusion is that a church in which evangelism does not take place is not a right church. That evangelism takes place means that Christ is taking place. Right? It means this (Introduction 1) is living and working.
  3. Remnants – the answer that missions takes place
And the remnants must receive the answer that missions takes place.
  4. [Answer] – Word, prayer, witness (evangelism, missions) – Romans 16
This (Introduction 1) answer is the very first thing church leaders must receive. We should receive the Romans 16 answer. Romans 16 includes all church leaders, and we must receive the answer those people received.

[Strength]
To do that, you must gain strength. First is to receive the answer; next, you must gain strength.

  1. The throne
Jesus explained for forty days the blessing of the throne. Pray that the Spirit of the Triune God would become your bartizan. So pray that the five powers would become your bartizan. Because you must gain strength, let the strength to overcome the ruler of the kingdom of the air become your bartizan. Since Christ has finished everything, let that bartizan save the past, today, and the future. You must have that strength. Then the CVDIP covenant is seen in advance. With that, open the three courtyards, the three-day weekend age, and the holy meditation age. This is what we call bartizan, journey, and guidepost.
  2. The kingdom
Then surely the kingdom of God comes. We call this changing our imprint, root, and nature. You are not imprinted with the ability to pray. Right? You must change quickly. You have no root to evangelize. Then how will you do missions? Changing that is the most important strength.
  3. The work
The matters of the kingdom of God—Jesus explained them. What are they? Only, Uniqueness, and Re-creation.
  4. Status
And we have a status by which we enjoy this strength. What is it? The remaining ones, the sojourners, the conquerors.
  5. Method
So what is our method? 24, 25, eternity. You must enjoy this strength. Peacefully—24. You must be at peace. Then answers come—25. Then it remains—eternity. You must discover this.

[Preparation]
And church leaders have something they must prepare.

[300%]
You must unconditionally have 300% in advance. Now, what on earth is 300%? While we had our eyes closed, the three organizations prepared 300%. A representative figure is Bill Gates. They prepared completely—professionalism, the field, even the future. They changed the age. He is a member of the New Age movement. Why can’t we do it? Do not listen to that nonsense and idle talk; you must receive answers. Your work must become 300% so that world missions can be done. Right? You must revive pastors. You must revive missionaries. Apart from that, other commissions are unnecessary. This is the church leader in the Bible. All these blessings must be found in worship.

▣ Main point – The absolute timetable
Then there is an answer that comes when you are enjoying this blessing. You begin to see God’s absolute timetable. Mark my words. In your church and behind us, the evangelism movement will continue to arise. Because Jesus said it. “You will be My witnesses.” When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will be witnesses. The absolute timetable comes. I will present the evidence.

  1. Acts 1:1–14 (relationship)
Church leaders were within this. They came down from Mt Olive and gathered—but at that time, to gather there meant death. They gathered there. Church leaders do not calculate. It is a relationship with God. Then the work is bound to arise. There is no other reason. They gathered there. God granted the greatest blessing there.
  2. Acts 2:10 (the three feasts)
There were many church leaders within that, but the representative figure is the sojourner from Rome. There, they received the answer that changed everything—the work that changed everything. This is important. What answer did they receive? They received every answer, but what kind of answer? I no longer need my worries. My thoughts are no longer important. I do not need my assertions. Right? The Holy Spirit worked. The power of Pentecost worked there. They participated in this. You must surely enjoy it.
  3. Acts 18:1–4 (the greatest opportunity)
Then one day, an important meeting took place. God gave you, who hold this covenant (Introduction), the greatest opportunity. The evangelist Paul met the church leader couple, Priscilla and Aquila, who were in work. The greatest timetable. Let every church leader create the greatest timetable. The reason you cannot is that this answer has not come; if you do this (Introduction), it will come. If you prepare this (Introduction), answers will come. Otherwise, world evangelization cannot be done. That phrase “world evangelization” becomes a lie. If you gain this strength (Introduction), such works will arise. I just presented the evidence. Today I am mainly speaking centered on Priscilla now.
  4. Acts 18:24–28 (the three-day weekend age)
This too is a very important event. What is it? They met Apollos and said something important: “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” What does that mean? It is to explain what happened in Mark’s upper room. We call this the three-day weekend age. You, so that the remnants may truly gain strength, should tell them. I am speaking of the answer you will receive.
  5. 1 Corinthians 16:19 (the local church)
“Priscilla and the church in their house”—this is important. The Corinthian church was a church that gathered, talked a lot, fought, and stumbled. Priscilla came to that town. This couple, Priscilla and Aquila, did nothing but the evangelism movement. It is the local church. Do it, you all. “Let’s revive our church”—no matter how much you say it, it’s useless. You must save one region; one church leader must save that region; another must save that hidden area. Only then does the work arise. We are doing none of what God wants. We must do what God wants.
  6. Romans 16:3–4 (prepared in advance)
Finally, look. Romans 16:3–4. What is it? Now they have begun to devote themselves to missions for Rome. The advance preparation for missions to Rome has begun.
  7. Romans 16:25–27
Finally, to these people Paul spoke like this: the eternal things, the hidden things, what God has concealed—He gave those to them. This is the covenant that church leaders across the nation and world must hold. To have been within this timetable is the absolute timetable.

Do not lose the introduction. You must surely receive this answer, gain strength, and make preparation.

▣ Conclusion – The future (the age)
Conclusion. You must pray. Through prayer, what is the final thing you should receive? You must receive the answer of seeing the future—the answer for the age.

What did Scripture say from the very beginning? “All nations will be blessed through you.” But who went ahead in that age? The great powers went ahead. Great powers looked ahead several centuries. Starting from Egypt and on like that.

We also have things to reflect on regarding Japan, don’t we? At that time, Japan had decided to dig into China and Russia over there. So they had to take Korea. At that time we wore straw sandals. They made guns. Right? At that time they ran trains under the sea. We carried things on A-frames. All leaders and politicians fought for power. We must reflect. We fell far behind the age. If you do, you will die.

Egypt went one century ahead, but Judaism, which had the Gospel, fell one century behind. They wore a watch one century late—what can be done? How is it now? The three organizations are going a century ahead. Is the church then going ahead? Scripture gives the Word to see the age and go ahead. He said He would give strength. If church leaders make a resolution, there is no answer they cannot receive. Right? When church leaders live, the church lives. When church leaders gain strength, the next generation also lives. Right? Only when you truly receive answers does world missions happen. There is no other reason.

So today is the united worship of the church leader members, and you must truly gain strength. I will pray.

Prayer. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, King of kings, the eternal love of God, and the working of the Holy Spirit be always with all church leaders who will save the future and with the church leaders who will restore what God has given, from now until eternity. Amen.

Things in Christ

Prayer Journal: August 30, 2025
Immanuel Church Sunday Worship 2nd Service, December 1, 2024
Scripture Reading: Colossians 1:9-23

▣ Introduction
Thank you. Coming to America from Korea, I can feel how good the air is. Those of you who stay in America all the time may not feel it well. In the same way, because you have been saved in Christ, you can easily lose hold of how precious that is. Christians may take it for granted, but when the name of Christ is proclaimed, Satan trembles. At the mention of Christ’s name, darkness is bound. The background of hell is also bound.

Today, Part 2 is “What is in Christ.” What could there be?

1) 7/7/7
To know that, what Christ said is important, isn’t it? What is happening right now? Right now, I mean. What is happening while you are worshiping and praying?

(1) 7 bartizans—Christ Himself spoke of the kingdom of God and only the Holy Spirit. That means that while you are praying now, the Triune God is bringing three things to pass, isn’t He? The Word is being fulfilled now. Prayer answers are bound to happen now. And surely the work of salvation is taking place now. Those three things are taking place, aren’t they? Because they are happening, Jesus Himself said to us at this very time: the power of the throne works; then you will receive power. From Jesus—what kind of power? First, He gave us the power to solve our problems of the past/today/future. And He granted us the five powers. Not only that. He granted us strength to overcome the ruler of the kingdom of the air. At this very time, during prayer time and worship time, you enjoy the answer that lets you see your entire lifelong future. Even now, the work of establishing the three courtyards is taking place. I am certain about what will happen this year and next year. What did I just talk about? I talked about the 7 bartizans.

(2) 7 journeys—We now go on the journey toward the 25 of the throne. We follow the path on which the Triune God is working. There are definite ten platforms there. Even when you are alone, there is a secret by which you surely overcome. There are five assurances for enjoying the power of the throne. In any case, you can change the flow. And I can receive and give the lifelong answer. Sitting here now is a camp. The camp of the throne—I am talking about the 7 journeys now. It is happening now. Now. So “According to your faith be it done to you”—this is no ordinary saying. God has saved me and I prayed for health—then the work begins. Right?

(3) 7 guideposts—Knowing that it is absolutely impossible for us, on Calvary He solved every problem. So He called us and gave us the absolute mission. There is nothing to worry about and nothing to strive for. It is the absolute mission. In any case, you just have to discover the absolute. Then the work of Mark’s Upper Room, of experiencing that power, is bound to arise. God launched the work of world evangelization. That is the Antioch church. He called Paul. In fact, Peter’s team was excluded from world missions. So they first went to Asia, and there they were completely led by the Holy Spirit. Also, when doors are blocked, we get discouraged or do other things. Right? That time is even more important. Praying completely, you meet a turning point. That is Macedonia. And the goal is Rome. Because the 237 are there, because the 5,000 people groups can come to America, we save Rome. I talked about the 7 guideposts. Exactly as in the Bible, because it is being fulfilled, you should pray for that.

2) 300%
Then it will surely be like this. Not 100%. 300%. It must be so. The remnants’ studies 300%, your work 300%, it is possible by prayer. Because God accomplishes it—if even the demon-possessed do things, why can’t we? Bill Gates—he made things, didn’t he? 300%. Those people are Nephilim. Problems will come later, right? Steve Jobs did it, didn’t he? They all did it.

3) Matters of the kingdom (darkness, the messenger)
At this time, the matters of the kingdom of God are fulfilled. Two things. Right now, while you are praying and holding to the Word, the darkness is broken in the places related to you. Right? At this time, God surely does an important work—He sends the Lord’s messenger. Sometimes the Lord’s angel—it is the same thing. Sometimes by the work of the armies of heaven—it surely becomes like this. Now…

4) 24 (strength)/25 (blessing)/eternity (answer)
Then I do 24. So in the morning I gain great strength. And in all the schedules I must go through now, with this prayer I gain tremendous strength. During the day it is 25. I cannot do it by my ability, can I? By this power of God, during the day I turn everything into blessing. At night, with what is eternity, I find the answer. I am busy. So in a sense, when I go to a hotel, from the day I enter to the day I leave I hang “Do not Disturb.” I hate the coming and going that bothers me. Continually I gain strength in the morning, make blessings in the day, and obtain answers at night. I am busy. When I pray like this, I gain strength—so much strength that I am busy. Some people pray so little that they follow only their own thoughts; when you follow your own thoughts, you fall into Genesis 3. Why speak so much about other people’s matters, and even know them wrongly? If you are going to speak about others’ matters, you must know them accurately, but you know them wrongly. Even as if possessed by some spirit, you talk about things that don’t exist—no answer comes. Enjoy this. Gain strength, and your health will be restored—everything will be done. In a sense, once we have gained this strength, it doesn’t matter whether we are there or not.

Now then, let us see in the introduction: the reason God used Paul…

1) Philippians 3:1-21
(1) Other things—He paid no attention to other things.
(2) Wrong things—Paul threw away what was wrong.
(3) Worldly things—He also threw away worldly things. Did he not use worldly things? He rather utilized them. Right?

Look at his opening words. I was a Pharisee, from a great district, and I learned tremendous things—he said he considered these a loss. Why? Because by those he did not know Christ. And what did he say? It is completely different. We say we have done many things. I have achieved nothing, I have accomplished nothing; I simply press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. People keep talking about wrong things. As for earthly things—I tried them all. That is basic. I go toward the prize of the upward call of God. Different. He could not help but be used completely. Is our citizenship of Rome important? No, isn’t it? We have the citizenship of heaven—different.

2) Romans 1:16-17
Look at the confession of Romans 1:16-17. Because people persecuted and criticized Paul so much, Paul said this: I am not ashamed of the Gospel—no matter how much you say, this is something to boast of. I am not ashamed, for it is the power of God for salvation… The righteous will live by faith…

(1) Only the Gospel—For Paul, it was not just the Gospel. Only the Gospel…
(2) The Gospel of uniqueness—Not merely “Gospel.” The Gospel of uniqueness…
(3) The Gospel of re-creation—Everything comes alive. The Gospel of re-creation…

3) Colossians 2:9-11
Now we see Paul’s confessions. Colossians 2:9-11—we will see it next week. Here, something tremendous appears. Do not be deceived by human philosophy; do not be deceived by people’s words; in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

(1) Limited concentration—What do we call this? Completely restricted concentration; there is no need to keep doing wrong things. Is it because you are anxious? Why do you keep trying to do something? Do what must be done. Some people speak whatever pops into their head. That means a problem has come to the brain, and nothing works that way. Precise, restricted concentration—this is called Only, Uniqueness, and Re-creation.

(2) Selected concentration—We have selected concentration with what God has given.

(3) Oneness concentration—Even if it seems there are difficulties now, it is not so. Oneness concentration—all things work together for good; everything joins to fulfill God’s plan. So I enjoy it without any particular reason. If I am sick, I give thanks in the sickness; I simply enjoy.

▣ Main message—Three restorations
Now then, what on earth did Paul speak of—now, in Christ? He is speaking of three restorations.

1. Restoration of the source of true power
What is true power? Restore its source. In verse 15, important words appear. Christ is the image of the invisible God. Verse 15—He is invisible, yet He is God. This is an astounding statement. Therefore, what is said?
1) Spiritual wisdom (verse 9)
In verse 9—every spiritual wisdom and understanding—this appears today in verse 9.
2) Will (verse 10)
Through Christ, He lets us know God and discover God’s will—that appears in verse 10.
3) Power (verse 11)
According to His glorious might, He will strengthen you with all power—this is verses 9, 10, and 11. You must believe it. In Christ—and not only these.

2. Restoration of the true human
In Christ, at last, we restore the true human. Until now, haven’t we lived like beasts, merely to eat and survive? Become a true human. Doing something merely to eat well and live well—if that is the case, it is better not to do it. What are we?
1) Light—inheritance (verse 12)
We are called to give the saints’ inheritance in the light. It is written so. As you know, that is verse 12.
2) Darkness (verse 13)
What is written? The reason He gave light is to rescue you from darkness—verse 13.
3) Redemption (verse 14)
And what is written? To redeem all our sins and transgressions, He sent Christ—verse 14. He sent Him to redeem. The Pharisees were greatly offended by these words. Right? Even now there are many Pharisees. They were extremely offended by this. So even their posterity was ruined. There is no way to block disaster. Though He spoke so, the Pharisees did not believe. They said you must keep all the Law—that is a lie. They cannot keep it while claiming to. That deceives themselves and deceives God. I am not saying we should intentionally fail to keep it—we cannot keep it. So He sent Him to redeem all our transgressions—this is what a true human is. Otherwise, we become worse than dogs. These days, dogs sit at home and relax, don’t they? People even dress them. Right? Dogs chew gum. If they sit still, everything is brought to them. We are worse than dogs. Restore the true human…

3. Restoration of the true economy
Restoration of the true economy, right? The economy of light, the missions economy—shouldn’t we at least do that? The future, the remnant economy. So when did God send Christ? Before all creation, in verse 15. Therefore, He is the Triune God. The Jews simply could not understand. “Abraham believed Me and was saved!” “Hey, how old are you?”—you cannot converse. The name of Christ is a tremendous name. It is the name that ends the darkness that existed before eternity. Right? It is the name that ends the curse formed in the Garden of Eden.
1) All things (verse 15)
That is what verse 15 says: He existed before all creation.
2) All authority (verse 16)
And what else? Something even more important. All things were created by Him—He said something even more astounding. All authority is for Him. Isn’t that right? Do you understand this? God raised Rome—so that He might evangelize it. God at one time blessed England. Why? To carry out the Gospel movement. God at one time blessed Germany. Why? To launch the Reformation. The Gospel disappeared from Europe. God blessed America. The reason—so that He might accomplish world evangelization. Now is the internet age. He blesses the multiethnic. So He said all authority exists for Him. I agree 100%. Korea is bound to receive some blessing. Why? There truly are people who evangelize. Right? Even if there were only one, He would bless; but there are many.
3) All things (verse 17)
He said something even more important. All things hold together in Him. We cannot help but restore these three economies. We cannot help but restore the true economy.
4) Origin, first, head (verse 18)
And He is the origin, the first, the head of the church—the origin, the first, the head of the church. He spoke astonishingly. That is verse 18.
5) Fullness (verse 19)
What is written in verse 19? All fullness dwelt in Him. All fullness was arranged to be connected in Christ. You must keep this in mind. That is verse 19.

▣ Conclusion: The name of Christ
Then with what should you draw the conclusion? The name of Jesus Christ—this is tremendous.
1) John 14:14
In John 14:14, ask in My name. Until now you did it by the blood of the lamb; now do it in My name. This is astounding. Before, you slaughtered an ox or something; now there is no need. Pray in My name—this is a tremendous name.
2) Acts 3:6
In Acts 3:6, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I command you: walk!”
3) Acts 16:16-18
In Acts 16:16-18, “In the name of Jesus Christ, come out, you unclean spirit!”
4) Philippians 3:21
In Philippians 3:21, it appears here: all things will be subject to that name. Try it.

Concentrate—and thus there are two kinds of prayer. ①There is prayer that enjoys status—because you are God’s child. The second is ②prayer that enjoys authority. Do concentrated prayer. May all darkness depart in the name of the Lord Jesus. May all beings that hinder the Gospel be bound in the name of Jesus Christ. Two kinds of prayer appear here. It is a tremendous name. You must enjoy it.

I am busy. I have no time to worry. How much time do you have that you can sit and worry? It is because you have too much time. Such a person should be taken to a cliff and tied up. Only then will they come to their senses and cry “Lord!”… How much time do you have that you spend it all on wrong talk about others? Enjoy this! As you open your eyes, enjoy strength. Right? Why? Because you must be witnesses. During the day, turn every problem into blessing. At night, truly receive healing and answers.

This is what is happening now to evangelism disciples across the nation and the world. It is only that you do not believe; but not believing does not make it disappear. At this very time, because it is happening, I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ to enjoy the greatest prayer and power.

Prayer. We thank God. We give glory to God. May all the darkness of the world be bound. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Call to Worship

Hymn
I Will Worship You
Seok Jin Oh · Ha Young Yoo

In the Spirit Lord, I will worship You.
And in truth alone I will worship You.
With the gospel of life, I will worship You.
For You are worthy of all glory, Lord.

Father, Son, and Spirit, I will worship You.
With the covenant, I will worship You.
With the blessing of the throne, I will worship You.
Lord, let your power be revealed through my life.

Confession of Faith
The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, dead, and buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
And is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty;
From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy universal Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body
And life everlasting. Amen.

Hymn
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
Joachim Neander

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise him, for he is your health and salvation!
Come, all who hear; now to his temple draw near,
Join me in glad adoration.

Praise to the Lord, above all things so wondrously reigning;
Sheltering you under his wings, and so gently sustaining!
Have you not seen all that is needful has been
Sent by his gracious ordaining?

Praise to the Lord, who will prosper your work and defend you;
Surely his goodness and mercy shall daily attend you.
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do,
If with his love, he befriends you.

Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore him!
All that has life and breath, come now with praises before him.
Let the Amen sound from his people again;
Gladly forever adore him.

Psalm 126

Leader: When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.
People: Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.

Leader: Then it was said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.”
People: The Lord has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.

Leader: Restore our fortunes, Lord,
like streams in the Negev.
People: Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.

Leader: Those who go out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
People: will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with them.

Hymn
Down at the Cross
E. A. Hoffman

Down at the cross where my Savior died,
Down where for cleansing from sin I cried,
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to his name!

Glory to his name,
Glory to his name;
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to his name!

I am so wondrously saved from sin,
Jesus so sweetly abides within;
There at the cross where he took me in;
Glory to his name!    Refrain

Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,
I am so glad I have entered in;
There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;
Glory to his name!    Refrain

Come to this fountain so rich and sweet,
Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet;
Plunge in today, and be made complete;
Glory to his name!    Refrain

Scripture Reading
Ezekiel 37:1-10

The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

Wonderful, merciful Savior
Precious Redeemer and Friend
Who would have thought that a Lamb
Could rescue the souls of men
Oh, You rescue the souls of men

Counselor, Comforter, Keeper
Spirit we long to embrace
You offer hope when our hearts have
Hopelessly lost our way
Oh, we’ve hopelessly lost the way

You are the One that we praise
You are the One we adore
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for
Oh, our hearts always hunger for

Almighty, infinite Father
Faithfully loving Your own
Here in our weakness You find us
Falling before Your throne
Oh, we’re falling before Your throne

Message
Believers Called To Prophesy
Pastor Ryu Kwang Su
Full Transcript

▣ Introduction: The reason for and answer to suffering (captivity)
1. Isaiah
1) Reason – Having left God and become a life unrelated to God (the greatest curse)
2) Answer – Isa 7:14 God will send the Christ, the One who solves all problems, and give the blessing of Immanuel.

2. Jeremiah – “Call to me and I will answer you, and will show you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

3. Lamentations
1) Reason – God has not changed, but you have become corrupted. There is no one to give milk to the next generation, and the next generation is dying because they cannot eat bread. “Cry out to the LORD.”

4. Ezekiel
1) Reason – God’s people have become like dry bones. Absolutely impossible.
2) Answer – “Make you who have died and become dry bones into a heavenly army.”
3) How – You must be seized by the living Word. Then prayer becomes living and active, the evangelism movement proceeds, and you become a witness. Enjoy this throughout the six days; when you hear the core message, something important emerges.

▣ Main Message: Three words

1. By the Chebar Canal (Ezek 3) – If you truly want to receive answers and change your destiny, human words are not needed.
1) Ezekiel at the Chebar Canal knew the cause and prayed.
2) Ezekiel became mute – If you truly want to receive answers and change your destiny, words are not needed.
3) God gave Ezekiel His Word and fulfilled that Word.

2. Watchman (Ezek 33) – The living Word of God is needed. The Word came, and Ezekiel became a watchman.
1) Ezek 33 – “Go and speak to those now in danger.” Only then can they live.
2) Ezek 34 – “Look at the many hungry sheep.”
3) Ezek 36 – “Hear the Word of the LORD that never changes.”
▷ Human words are not needed. The living Word of God is needed. As that Word came, he became a watchman.

3. Spokesman (Ezek 37) – Prophesy the Word to the dead.
1) “Can these dry bones live?” “The Lord can do it.”
2) “Prophesy God’s Word to the bones” – From then on the bones began to live and move.
(1) God’s Word – The Word of creation; God Himself; the One who came as the Word made flesh is Christ; the Word is living and active.
(2) Wait until the Word is fulfilled; when it is fulfilled, follow it.
3) “Prophesy to the breath (spirit)”
(1) You have the qualification and authority to declare God’s Word.
(2) To the dying, declare to the breath so that the power and life of the throne and the working of the Holy Spirit will come.
(3) When you take true courage, it is imprinted in the brain and, connected to the soul, meets the Word and meets the throne.
▷ In the name of Jesus Christ, declare the Word and declare to the breath. This is what turns them into an army.

▣ Conclusion: How you worship is important (Ezek 47)
1. You must entrust everything to God. Change your worries, thoughts, words, and prayers (Ezek 47:1–5).
1) God has a plan of the Word for you.
2) The One who guards you and the church 100% is the LORD God.
3) Job 3:25, 1 Pet 5:7–8, Eph 4:26–27, Eph 6:18 Satan strikes exactly where you worry. “Cast all your anxieties on the Lord. Your adversary the devil knows what you worry about and prowls around seeking someone to devour.” “Do not be angry and sin; the devil takes a foothold there.” Since Satan uses various strategies to bring you down, “pray at all times in the Spirit.”

2. The water flowing from the pulpit revives the sea and every living thing (Ezek 47:6–9).

3. This water went to each tribe and began to revive the dead land (Ezek 48).

※ Worship that revives three things – Seeing throughout the six days the Word, prayer, and evangelism (evidence) becoming living and active
1) You must actually possess the Word.
2) Transmit not your personality but the Word.
3) If we enjoy God’s Word working within us, we have nothing to fear.

Hymn · Offering
You, Man of God
Won-Hee Lee

Winds of trouble may rage on,
And things may be going wrong
Never forget you are in the ship
Where the Captain, God, is strong

Words of deception call on,
Temptations are all around
Conquer them all as you listen to
The gentle voice of God

God sees the world and sighs with grief
His heart breaks inside
Where are the ones with the true Gospel?
Not one can He find

You, man of God, be strong
Be strong in the grace of Christ
What you have learned and heard from me,
Entrust to reliable men

You, man of God, be strong
This gospel you must preach on
God’s Holy Spirit will be with you
Forever in all you do

Prayer · Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors,
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever,
Amen.

Hymn
We Will Keep Our Faith Alive!
Don Besig · Nancy Price

Gathered here, within this place,
We can share in God’s redeeming grace.
There’s no room for doubt or fear;
We can feel His presence here.
As we face each passing day,
We will serve and honor and obey;
And if hope should start to dim,
We will know our trust is in Him.

And we will keep our faith alive,
God will always be our guide.
Through the darkest night,
We will see God’s light.
We will keep our faith alive!

We will live as God has planned,
Though at times we may not understand.
Many things we may not see,
But our faith will help us believe.
From His Word we learn the truth;
Through His love we all are born anew.
With His help, we will not fail
For we know our God will prevail.  Chorus

Benediction

The Trap of the Devil

2 Timothy 2:14-26. Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18 who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.”

20 In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. 21 Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

22 Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. 24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

Paul writes this letter to Timothy as a spiritual father to his son in the faith, urging him to remain steadfast and guard the truth of the gospel. He warns believers to avoid meaningless debates, divisive arguments, and false teachings that distract from the central message—that Jesus is the Christ. God’s people are called to correctly handle the word of truth, which requires not only knowing Scripture but also living by it, staying anchored in the unchanging gospel of Christ.

Satan is far more cunning than many realize. From the very beginning, he destroyed the first family with a single lie: “You will be like God” (Genesis 3:5). Through deception, he brought sin, death, and destruction into the world, and he has been using the same tactics ever since.

Scripture warns us that “Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14). The devil rarely appears as evil; he disguises his traps behind attractive appearances, persuasive reasoning, and even religious-sounding language. He may come as a false teacher, a seemingly moral influencer, or even a voice that appears compassionate but subtly undermines God’s truth. But he is “the great dragon… who leads the whole world astray” (Revelation 12:9).

Today, Satan’s influence permeates nearly every area of life—family, education, entertainment, politics, economy, and culture. Through books, music, movies, and modern media, his agenda is subtly embedded, shaping minds and hearts without people realizing it. Many, especially the youth, are being drawn into lifestyles and patterns of thought that lead to spiritual, mental, and emotional destruction.

In an effort to find relief, people turn to alternative spiritual practices—such as yoga, transcendental meditation, and occult philosophies—but these cannot bring true peace or healing. Jesus warned that such empty pursuits will leave people worse off than before (Matthew 12:43-45).

Satan’s strategy extends even deeper into religion and culture. Many nations celebrate spiritual sites, artifacts, and practices as “cultural heritage” without realizing that in doing so, they become participants with demons (1 Corinthians 10:20). Idols are elevated and admired rather than rejected, blurring the line between cultural appreciation and spiritual deception.

Even within the church, his tactics are more subtle and destructive than anywhere else. Many churches established by God to be houses of prayer and worship have turned into tourist attractions, losing their spiritual authority. Without the ability to create a culture rooted in the gospel, many believers are conforming to the patterns of this world rather than transforming it through the power of Christ (Romans 12:2).

Today’s Word directly addresses these dangers. The devil promotes quarrels about words, godless chatter, false doctrine, evil desires, and foolish arguments—all of which divide the church and weaken its witness. Satan hates unity among God’s people and works tirelessly to keep the church from realizing, experiencing, and proclaiming the only true gospel that Jesus is the Christ.

Thus, we must resist his schemes by living as vessels set apart for God’s special purpose. Those who cleanse themselves from ungodliness become instruments of honor, made holy, useful to the Master, and prepared to do every good work. Let us flee youthful passions and instead pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, walking alongside those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. Our lives should reflect humility, kindness, and patience, gently instructing others, which comes only from knowing and enjoying the power of the gospel, so that God may lead them to repentance and freedom from Satan’s traps.

Instead of engaging in quarrels and useless debates, let us speak words that build up, encourage, and point people to Christ. Let us turn godless chatter into testimonies of God’s grace, false doctrine into sound teaching, evil desires into a passion for God’s kingdom, and foolish arguments into mutual understanding. By standing against the devil’s deception and sharing the truth of the gospel, we become living witnesses of Christ’s power and grace in a broken world.

Prayer. Father, I thank You for opening my eyes to the traps of the enemy. Help me put on Your full armor so that I may stand firm against Satan’s schemes. Purify my heart and make me an instrument for Your purposes. Strengthen Your church and unite us to fulfill the Great Commission in this generation and beyond. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hope Stored in Heaven

December 1, 2024: Immanuel Church Sunday Worship 1st Service
Scripture Reading: Colossians 1:1-8

▣ Introduction
Thank you. Normally, the Immanuel Church sends out messages nationwide and worldwide. Today, we are worshiping together in a meaningful church here in LA for the World Community Service. I had a brief conversation with Pastor Workman and Mrs. Robin, and I felt true peace. So, I felt like I had truly met a real pastor. In Korea, there are many pastors who are not saved. You must receive grace today from this precious time and from the Word God has given us, together with believers across the nation and the world.

1. Paul, the one who had the greatest influence in history
Who is the person who had the greatest influence in all of history? It is Paul. He cannot be compared to Napoleon. Right? He cannot be compared to the Roman emperors. To give a simple example, Paul’s influence was so great that it changed the culture of the world. The freeing of the slaves in America was connected to this. President Lincoln did it, but it was based on the covenant found in Galatians 3:28. He held onto the confession Paul made. How could Paul have had such an immense influence?

※ May the God who worked in Paul work in me and in our church as well.
You must pray earnestly for this today, all over the nation and the world: “May the God who worked in Paul work in me and in our church.” On Sundays, you should not be distracted by other things. You must firmly hold onto God’s Word. On Sunday, you must grab hold of the Word and respond with “Amen.” If you shout “Amen” at your workplace, people might think you’re crazy. If you’re walking down the street, say “Amen” in your heart, but if you shout it out loud, people may think something’s wrong with you. But on Sundays, during worship, we must shout “Amen.”

Dr. Hwang Soo-Gwan once said this: women tend to live about 10 years longer than men on average. Sometimes 10 or 15 years longer. “Why is that?” he was asked. He said, “Because when women receive grace during worship, they respond with ‘Amen.’” Men don’t usually do that. Also, when there’s something funny, women laugh freely, but men don’t laugh easily. Even when something is funny, they clench their teeth and suppress it. But here, I see many of you laughing, and that’s good. On Sundays, you must truly hold onto the grace of “Amen” and receive answers through it.

2. The hope stored up in heaven – when you have hope, you can endure and wait; accurate hope will be fulfilled
How was Paul able to carry out world evangelization like that? Today’s passage explains it clearly. It says, “The hope stored up in heaven.” That’s incredible, isn’t it? When it says, “the hope stored up in heaven,” it means this: if you have hope, you will surely receive answers. Right? A person with hope can endure. Without hope, you cannot endure. A person with hope can wait. Without hope, you cannot wait.

I’ve shared this story before. Back when I was in Busan, my car had become very old, so the engine would often stall. I didn’t tell anyone, but one of our church members somehow found out and bought me a nice, brand-new car. I got a call: “Pastor, we’ve completed the registration and will deliver the car to your house by 10 a.m. tomorrow.” I was delighted when I heard that, of course. The next morning, after finishing early morning prayer, I went for exercise. I parked my old car at the entrance of Taejongdae. Then, a woman was backing up her car and accidentally hit mine. My car door was completely dented. She was so shocked and repeatedly apologized. I told her, “It’s okay.” She asked for my phone number, but I said, “It’s okay.” She said, “Are you sure it’s okay?” “Yes, it’s okay. Please go ahead.” She drove away but then rolled down her window and said, “Thank you so much. You have such a kind face.” I didn’t tell her that I was picking up a new car later that day. I wasn’t upset at all. The old car was going to be scrapped anyway, so what did it matter?

If you have hope, you can endure. If you have hope, you can wait. And accurate hope will surely be fulfilled. That’s why the Bible says we are given faith, hope, and love.

3. The Gospel of truth is the hope stored up in heaven
So then, what exactly is the hope referred to in today’s passage? This is important. The answer is given here: it says, “the Gospel of truth.” Isn’t that amazing? It says, “the Gospel of truth.” This is the hope we must hold onto.

Many people say, “Good health is a blessing.” That’s a wrong idea. The one who has received the blessing must also have health. Right? If someone without God’s blessing has great health, it can actually become a problem. Some people say, “Money is a blessing.” That’s also wrong. If someone who hasn’t received the blessing of God has a lot of money, it becomes a headache. People also say, “Living a long life is a blessing,” but if someone without God’s blessing lives a long life, it’s not good. Right?

This true Gospel message is the hope — where is it? It is stored up in heaven. Paul firmly held onto this hope.

▣ Main Message
So then, what happens when you firmly hold onto this hope?

1. My own curses and disasters will be driven away
First of all, this hope drives away my curses and disasters. Do you know why?

1) We were supposed to be cursed, but God gave us grace. Because of this, the disasters were removed. This is peace (verse 2).
In verse 2 it says, “Grace and peace to you.” Do you know what the opposite of grace is? It is the curse we were supposed to receive. We should have been cursed, but God gave us grace. When curses come, disasters follow. Right? There is no way to avoid disasters once curses come. But when grace comes, the disasters disappear. That’s why it says, “peace.” This is very important.

2) The Jews did not know this grace, so they were cursed and left disasters to their posterity – the 7 ages, Islam, Communism.
The Jews did not know this grace. That’s why they went through the curses of the 7 ages, and their descendants faced disasters. This is something you must remember. What is the hope that is stored up in heaven? It is the Gospel of truth. Without the Gospel, you fall into eternal curses and disasters. Do you know who the ancestors of Islam were? They were the Jews. Do you know who the father of Communism, Karl Marx, was? He was also a Jew. Without the Gospel, you end up leaving behind eternal curses.

3) “We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you.” (verse 3)
But there are so many people who don’t know the Gospel. If you know the Gospel, it is incredible. That’s why in verse 2 it says, “Grace and peace to you.” And in verse 3: “We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you.”

2. The Gospel blocks the curses and disasters that come upon the entire world
Secondly, how powerful is this Gospel? It is powerful enough to block the curses and disasters that come upon the whole world. The Gospel blocks the spiritual plague that spreads all over the world. That’s why we must do missions. This Gospel is the power that saves the entire world.

1) The Gospel that blocks curses and disasters in the whole world (verse 6) – promised to Abraham.
Verse 6 says, “This Gospel that has come to you is bearing fruit and growing all over the world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.” This is the power of the Gospel. It appears all over the world. Among the 5,000 people groups, the darkness and curses are broken down by the Gospel. That’s why God promised Abraham that through him, all nations would be blessed. But Israel did not understand this correctly.

2) The promise of Jesus – Matthew 28:18–20 “all nations,” Mark 16:15–20 “all creation,” Acts 1:8 “to the ends of the earth.”
This blessing was promised by Jesus after His resurrection. We must hold onto it exactly. “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.” “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” “Go and make disciples of all nations.” This is Jesus’ promise. “All authority in heaven and on earth” means that all the curses and disasters in the whole world are broken down. To receive blessings, first comes blessing. To receive disasters, first comes curse. Right? To rescue America from curses and disasters, there is only the Gospel.

After His resurrection, Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation.” He especially said, “In My name drive out demons. Place your hands on the sick, and they will get well.” And He said, “You will be My witnesses to the ends of the earth.”

3) What God gave to Paul and his team – Romans 16:25–27 “the mystery hidden for long ages past but now revealed… that leads to eternal glory.”
The ones who completely fulfilled this blessing were Paul and his team. What did God give them? It says, “the mystery kept hidden for long ages past, but now revealed… so that all nations might believe and obey Him.” I realized this and continuously received incredible answers. Some people ask, “Isn’t life hard?” There is no time for that. When problems come, I finish them in 5 minutes—with answers. Why? Because I’m too busy enjoying blessings. Right? There is so much power to gain in prayer. But many people waste their time talking about others. That is because they don’t pray enough. There is no time to waste like that. God promised something incredible: “What was hidden from long ages past is now revealed to you and will last forever.” It is tremendous.

3. The Gospel blocks the curses and disasters that will come upon future generations
In verse 5 it says, “the hope stored up for you in heaven.” This has an important meaning. Why does it say “stored up in heaven”?

1) Jesus said He explained the kingdom of God for 40 days and would give that to us.
Jesus said, “For 40 days He spoke about the kingdom of God.” That is what He promised to give. Why? Because the Gospel blocks the disasters that will come upon future generations. It’s not just for me. It’s not only for the world today. It is for blocking the curses and disasters that will come upon future generations. That’s why it says, “stored up in heaven.”

2) The bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne.
He has given us the bartizan of the throne. He is leading us to walk the journey of the throne. And He blesses us to stand at the guideposts of the throne. How amazing is that?

3) The kingdom of God that comes during worship and prayer, and the works of the kingdom of God that are established in the church, field, and home.
Even now, during this worship, during prayer, the kingdom of God is coming. Isn’t that right? That is the true answer. As you sit here now, the kingdom of God is being established in your church, in your field, and in your home. You must believe this. Doors to the 5,000 people groups will surely open. You must believe this.

▣ Conclusion – The Gospel of truth
Now let us conclude. The hope stored in heaven is called the Gospel of truth. What does this mean? Will history arise if pastors simply preach well? No. What matters is the Gospel of truth. You must never lose this. The Gospel of truth is the hope stored in heaven.

Suppose I wrote a letter to you. A letter always has a purpose. The beginning—“Dear so-and-so, are you well?”—that’s not the point. “I pray for your health”—that’s not the main thing. There is something specific I want to say. Right?

  1. The core of the Bible – the conclusion of faith is the salvation of souls (1 Peter 1:9).
The Bible also has something specific it wants to say. In 1 Peter 1:9 it says, “The end result of your faith is the salvation of your souls.”

1) Genesis 3:15 – the offspring of the woman.
In Genesis 3:15 it says, “The offspring of the woman will crush the serpent’s head.” Jesus Christ will break the power of Satan. That is what you must firmly hold onto in the Bible. Everything else is just events to explain the Gospel.

When you send someone on an errand, you might say, “Take this document to someone. And buy some bread on the way.” The bread is not essential. The document is. If that person throws the document anywhere and only remembers “bread, bread, bread,” then you can never trust him again. Right?

2) Exodus 3:18 – the blood of the lamb.
The Bible emphasizes this: “On the day you put the blood of the lamb on your doorposts, you will come out.”

3) Isaiah 7:14 – Immanuel.
Again, when Israel became captives, the prophecy was given: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call Him Immanuel.” There is no greater answer than this: God is with us. There is no greater blessing than this: God is with me in my work.

4) Matthew 16:16 – Christ.
Later, when Israel had become a Roman colony, Jesus asked in Caesarea Philippi, a city named after Caesar and Philip. It was meaningful. “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” All the answers were wrong. Then Peter said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus was astonished and blessed him: “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven. You are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.”

2. Jesus told them not to tell anyone until He gave the important message on Mt Olive
You must listen carefully. After Peter’s confession, Jesus said, “Do not tell anyone.” What does this mean? Shouldn’t He have said, “Spread this everywhere”? But He said, “Tell no one.” That’s why you must hold firmly to the Gospel of truth.

After His resurrection, He said the opposite. Right? “Go into all the world. Make disciples of all nations. Go to the ends of the earth. I will be with you. I will give you power.” Then on Mt Olive, He gave them the important message. Before that, He told them, “Do not go out. Do not tell anyone.”

1) During the 3 years of His public ministry – what to change.
During His 3 years of ministry, Jesus spoke about what must be changed. But the church today does the opposite. For example, Jesus said forgive seventy times seven, but churches refuse to forgive. Jesus told us not to do certain things, but that’s exactly what the churches are doing. That’s why on Mt Olive, He gave the truly important message.

2) Calvary – “It is finished.” All blessings must start here. Find them all.
On Calvary, He said, “It is finished.” Everything must start from here. “If it is finished, then why is life still so hard?” The answer lies here. “If it is finished, then why am I still poor?” That’s why I had no choice but to go into the field. There, I discovered all the blessings. You must pray in this way.

3) Mt Olive – the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of the throne.
Then He called them to Mt Olive. “From now on, you will walk the journey of the throne. To do this, you are watchmen. You are pilgrims.” He explained the bartizan of the throne and the guidepost of the throne. You must hold firmly to the Gospel of truth. The disciples lost everything Jesus had given them, so what happened? But when I realized this, I prayed only this prayer. As I continued praying, the 7 bartizans became visible. As I kept praying, the 7 journeys became visible. And everywhere I went, the 7 guideposts became visible. You must do this. This incredible mystery is stored as hope in heaven. It will surely be fulfilled.

(1) Build the bartizan of God within you – the 7 bartizans – 100% preparation.
Looking at Jesus’ words, they mean: “Build the bartizan of God inside you.” This was 100% preparation.

(2) The Lord will be with you on the path you walk – the 7 journeys – 100% in the field.
He promised: “I will be with you on the path you walk.” That is the 7 journeys. That is 100% in the field.

(3) From Calvary to Rome – the 7 guideposts – 100% system preparation.
From Calvary to Rome, He gave the 7 guideposts. This was 100% preparation of the system. You must hold this. That is the Gospel of truth. That is our hope. Why? Because it will surely be fulfilled.

3. The three courtyards, the three-day weekend age, and the holy meditation age – 24, 25, eternity
What must you hold onto in this church? Jesus once overturned the tables in the temple in anger. Where was it? It was in the Courtyard of the Gentiles. That was also the Courtyard of the children. That was also the Courtyard of healing prayer. But they had turned it into a marketplace. Jesus overturned it. In this church, you must establish the three courtyards. You must remember this. Tomorrow I will explain more.

Why did Jesus intensively teach for 40 days? To open the three-day weekend age. Right? Without concentration, it won’t work. Why did He pour out grace at the Mark’s Upper Room? To open the holy meditation age. Right? Without God’s power, it won’t work.

Revival will come without fail. Hold 1st, 2nd, and 3rd services. The church will be filled with those who are to be saved. But if they are not healed, they won’t come. If they are left sick, they will not come. Right? That’s why we must do healing. And the remnants must come and gain strength. That is the children’s courtyard. It must be done. Many people with spiritual problems must come and receive healing. Do this 24. Then the 25 of God’s kingdom will come. Then the works of God’s kingdom called eternity will be fulfilled. You must hold onto this covenant for Korea, for the world, and for every region.

The hope stored in heaven. The hope stored in the throne. God’s Word that will come with unstoppable power. On this Sunday, pray all day long and experience His power. In the name of Jesus Christ, I bless you. Let us pray.

Prayer. We thank You, God. May today be the day of healing. May we become spiritual summits. May healing occur even in the diseases we do not know about. May true hope be with us. May the hope stored up in heaven become ours. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
