「The Historical Facts Regarding the Flood and the Reason (Genesis 8:1-22)


First, there are a few things you must confirm. On Sundays, you must go holding onto the accurate covenant. Even though people hear the same sermon, every person may hear it differently. You must grab it while looking at the flow of the Word. And on Sunday, there must be a time of very deep prayer. You must do it to the point of gaining fundamental strength. Doctors fix illnesses, but God handles the fundamental things. On Sunday, you must intensively have time to gain fundamental strength. You must gain the power of prayer to the point where even a sickness that was coming retreats.

This content is for the District Bible Study used for studying the Bible in the region. If you do “Branch Church,” you do it there too. Because this is important material, you should personally think about who you will send this message to next week. It would be good to send it to those who need it. In the past, when doing field evangelism, I would participate with a plan for where to evangelize tomorrow. Then, I would think about what Word I would take with me. Especially, who should I pray for and how. That is the “3 Todays,” and it is so important.

A friend contacted me saying they were going on a short-term mission. So, they wanted to meet me. At that time, I had a book titled To Become a Missionary. Since it was at home, I thought I should take it. But I looked and couldn’t find it. I couldn’t buy it at night, and I had to meet them the next day. In the morning, I went to early morning prayer, and a booklet was lying on the floor inside the church. I picked it up, and the title of that book was To Become a Missionary. On the back, it had someone’s name written on it. So when I met the person the next day, I said, “This is so-and-so’s book, so read it and return it.” Although it was just one short day, I came to realize many things.

In this land, spiritual problems are increasingly growing. Development is happening, but there are more people with mental illnesses. Suicides are increasing. Also, drug addicts are increasing. What’s more important is that there are many patients with strange demon-possession illnesses that doctors and ordinary people don’t know well. Right now, shamans are rising up like scammers telling people to do exorcisms (Gut). It is happening tremendously. It would be good to deliver this message today.

「Flood Incident – Disaster」
Today is about the Flood incident. This is a disaster. Why did God bring the Flood?

▣ Introduction _ [Nephilim]
Actually, it was to block the Nephilim disaster. It is a tremendous event, and looking at Noah’s Flood today, there are a few things you must know.

▣ Main Body _ Three Backgrounds
There are three backgrounds.

1. Genesis 3:1–6 As you know, there are several important incidents in the Bible. It is the Garden of Eden incident. Here, they were tempted by Satan and left God.

Genesis 6:1–20 After that, the Flood incident broke out.

Genesis 11:1–8 A little later, the Tower of Babel collapses. This is the first background. However, this is continuing even now.

[Genesis 3:1–6] What did Satan say in Genesis 3? He said something scary. “If you eat this, you will become like God.” The New Age movement growing in America and Europe uses that term. “You become like God.” “You become a powerful one.” “You find the hero inside you.” They teach like this.
[Genesis 6:1–20] Even now, the Nephilim and spirit-contact movements continue. I saw someone writing briefly: Why can’t you leave once you enter the Freemasons? They wrote several reasons, and one was this: Spirit-contact movement. Nephilim movement. You cannot escape.
[Genesis 11:1–8] Now they say, “Let’s build a second Tower of Babel.” The 3 Organizations are continuing it.

1) Idolatry: So people have no choice but to worship idols.
2) Satan: But behind that, the activity of Satan is completely laid out.
3) Spiritual Problems: So spiritual problems have no choice but to come. The whole world might be able to solve everything else, but they cannot solve spiritual problems. Therefore, “Make an Ark.” This means Christ, right?

2. Mighty Men of Nephilim There is a second background. Looking at the Bible, the “mighty men” of Nephilim arose. Very powerful people of Nephilim began to arise. This is the second background. When you do an exorcism (Gut), power comes, right? But it becomes more difficult. If you continue idolatry, “something” arises. That becomes a bigger problem. So sin becomes rampant; because wrong people have power. What happens when bad people have power? They harass weak people. Simply put, because they are seized by Satan, they have power. With this, they committed all sorts of crimes.

3. Hell Background More importantly is the third. It looks like they are living on this earth, but they are inside the background of Hell. There are these three backgrounds. There can be no peace. They cannot live well. Even if they live well, it gets harder. Even though they studied a lot, it gets harder. These are the three illnesses. Therefore, a person who is saved and goes to Heaven is currently inside the background of the Heavenly Throne. Going to Heaven after death? That is not an accurate statement. You enjoy the blessings of Heaven and then naturally go. People who go to Hell enjoy the background of Hell and then go to Hell. They go after doing Satan’s errands.

Some people might easily say, “Why go to Hell when they didn’t do anything wrong?” In Matthew 25:41, Hell is ultimately the place to lock up Satan forever.

1) Matthew 25:41: Then, a person going to Hell is a child of Satan, so they have no choice but to go. You don’t go to Hell because you have many sins; you go because you could not solve the problem of sin. We don’t go to Heaven because we didn’t sin; we have been forgiven of our sins. So it is miserable. The background itself is Hell. The background itself is Satan.
2) [Crime]: It looks like they have power for a moment, but all crimes happen here.
2) Serving Satan: Because they serve Satan all their lives, they must go. Jesus said it like this:
3) John 8:44: “Your father the devil.” Not even a friend. Father. To whom did He say this? He said it to the Jews who were attending church but did not know the Gospel. They were doing religious life well, but “Your father the devil.” Therefore, Satan is only afraid of Christ. He is not afraid of your money. He does not fear the skills you have. He fears Christ. “There is no other name under heaven given to us by which we must be saved.”

▣ Conclusion
Therefore, we must open the Era of the Three Courtyards and inform people quickly.

1. Three Courtyards: You know them, right? The Courtyard of the Gentiles (Multi-ethnic), the Courtyard of the Children (Remnants), and the Courtyard of Prayer (Healing). We must make them.
2. Fri-Sat-Sun: We must open the Fri-Sat-Sun era. Now, taking the Remnants, what must we make them into? We must make them people of prayer who survive wherever they go. The Fri-Sat-Sun era. The whole world is dying from spiritual problems.
3. Meditation Era: So, open the Meditation Era that heals that. This is next week’s lesson.

Please summarize this simply and send it to those who need it. That person will be surprised when they see it. Perhaps their own problem is caught in here. From this, a huge change begins to happen. There are many such people. But especially, there are many among celebrities. There is a reason. The angel in charge of praise fell, so it has no choice but to be so. So it is especially common among people who are said to be wise. They are hiding it. Because they are hiding it, if you have the message, the time schedule to save them will come.

I will conclude. If anyone says, “I have this kind of spiritual problem,” do not try to solve it. Completely imprint it as the Watchtower, Journey, and Guidepost given by Christ. It will disappear. In fact, even if you are caught in a special illness, you can fight and win. The question is how to win. You must restore all fundamental strength for both the body and the spirit. Is that possible? It is possible. Therefore, gain the greatest strength on Sunday.

Today again, we offer the World Missions Worship together. It is a concluding message. You must take that with you. Finally, what will you take? You must take it.

Prayer. May today be a day of gaining strength all day long. May it be a day of solving the spiritual fundamentals all day long. May it be a day where my soul and body gain fundamental strength. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Take the Authority of the King, Prophet and Priest to the Field

「Take the Authority of the King, Prophet and Priest to the Field」 (1 Peter 2:9)


Thank you. There is the Word of God that even an unsaved person may read. However, there is the Word of God that only saved people see. The blood covenant, and various things like these, are things only saved people know.

1. The Last Words Jesus Gave to Those Who Will Evangelize the World (World Mission Conference Message)
The last words Jesus gave right now were given to those who will evangelize the world.

1) Promise to be with us with all authority in heaven and on earth, the authority of the throne, and the authority of the name of Christ
So he said he would be with us with all authority in heaven and on earth. Because that is what is needed. He will be with us with the authority of the throne. Pray in my name. He promised to be with us with the authority of the name of Christ.

2) Turning points — those prepared coming from 15 nations (the upper room of Mark), those scattered (Antioch), the hidden card (Rome)
And a very important turning point appears. The Word is fulfilled in the upper room of Mark, and there 15 nations had gathered. Those prepared, those made ready. And then a decisive turning point comes. It begins in Antioch. Those scattered. Later they go all the way to Rome together with the team of Paul. It was called the hidden card. In fact, all three of them are hidden cards. Mission is an enormous secret and an enormous work of history. Well then, what I have just spoken about is the message of this World Mission Conference.

2. How shall we convey this?
Now, how shall we convey this? Now we must grasp the final covenant.

1) We must convey Christ accurately.
The most important thing is to convey the gospel accurately. We must convey Christ accurately. If that is not done, it is a serious matter. Who is Christ? Is that not something we must convey?

(1) The true King who completely broke the authority of Satan
He is the true King who completely broke the authority of Satan.

(2) The true Priest who blocks disaster
Disaster cannot be avoided. He is the true Priest who blocks disaster.

(3) The true Prophet who leads us to God
We cannot be saved on our own. And so he is the true Prophet who leads us to God. The combination of these three words is what is called Christ. Telling people this is the gospel. If this is not told, it is of no use at all.

2) Ambassadors of Christ — Christ entrusted this work to us and departed.
And so Christ entrusted this work to us and departed. He entrusted it to the missionaries and departed. And so we are ambassadors of Christ. There was a time when our country was extremely poor. There was a time when we lived like those 5,000 tribes. There was a time when people wore straw sandals because there were no shoes. There was a time when there were no cars, and oxen and horses pulled carts. I grew up seeing that. But our country was oppressed by powerful nations on the left and on the right. China interfered, Russia interfered, Japan interfered — they told us to do this and that. And they did as they pleased with our country. When our country was in a wretched state, that was when the missionaries came in. The missionaries came in and did two things. They preached the gospel. And the other thing — they let the world know how wretchedly Korea was being treated. Those people who came to Korea and left said something. In common. Korea is a country that will evangelize the world. And they all said it in common. Whether those who came and died, or those who left — they all said Korea is a country that will evangelize the world. And so he sent us as ambassadors of Christ.

3. How should we act as we go as ambassadors of Christ?
Now, how should we act as we go as ambassadors of Christ? The answer to that was given today.

1) Proclaim this light — because Christ came as light and people are dying in darkness
Because Christ came as light, we are to proclaim this light. Here it importantly says to proclaim the light. This means to convey it. This is the part you must now hold onto and go. Because people are dying in darkness, proclaim this light.

2) Prophesy the Word. Prophesy life — because I have no ability to give the Word and life myself
Ezekiel, he said. Can these bones live? Ezekiel answered well. He did not answer, “They can live.” He did not answer, “They cannot live.” He said, “The Lord the Lord can do it.” Then God said this. He did not say, “Preach the Word.” He did not say, “Breathe life into them.” He said, “Prophesy the Word.” “Prophesy life.” You and I have no such authority or ability to preach the Word, to give life. There is no need to be discouraged. It was never there to begin with. Prophesy in the name of Christ. Proclaim it. Just do this. You must have conviction.

3) Proclaim the light in the name of Christ — because Christ finished it and told us to pray in his name
No need to slaughter an ox. Pray in my name. No need to slaughter a sheep. Pray in my name. No need to offer a sacrifice. Pray in my name. It has been finished. And so in the name of Christ we proclaim the light.

▣ Introduction — The Reason
We must first know the reason.

1. People completely caught in Satan’s 12 strategies, the church deceived by Satan’s 5 strategies
People right now do not know. Because the world has not taught them — it is only in the Bible. It has not been taught. They are completely caught in Satan’s 12 strategies. They cannot escape. The church too is deceived by Satan and caught in 5 strategies of Satan. Jesus even said to someone who seemed to believe well that there is a bartizan of Satan inside you. That is astonishing. Also, they are serving the devil who appears completely like a god of this world, one who loves the world fully. And he said that to someone who seemed to believe well. “Your father the devil.” They believe in the god of this world more than in God. Even going to Cornelius’s house to eat — why did he eat there? This is the church. “No, even if you are saved, you still have to keep the law of the Jews.” This was something Peter said to Paul. Why was that? The church does not follow the atmosphere. The atmosphere had become that way. You must be careful. The church does not follow public opinion. Public opinion had become that way. When asked why he went to Cornelius’s house, Peter should have rebuked it loudly. Is that not right? Did not Christ say to go to all peoples? Did he not say he would be with us with all authority in heaven and on earth? We are all in darkness right now.

2. Spiritual ignorance, spiritual incompetence, spiritual problems — proclaim the name of Christ, the light (Acts 4:12).
Everything is there, yet they are spiritually ignorant. Everything is there. Things will continue to develop going forward. There is a great deal, yet there is only no spiritual strength. Spiritual incompetence. And so they are caught in absolutely unsolvable spiritual problems. Proclaim the light there. Because it is not your own strength, proclaim it in the name of Christ. It is not the missionaries’ strength. Proclaim it in the name of Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Christ — this word is no ordinary word. Should we not know Christ in order to preach the gospel? If you know Christ, darkness collapses. Is that not right? I know President Lee Jae-myung. Is that not right? President Lee Jae-myung does not know me. Why? Because we have never met. We have never been connected. Knowing someone like that is not really knowing. Knowing each other, talking with each other, helping each other — that is knowing. The fact that Christ is the answer for you — Satan knows it. He also knows when it has not happened. God knows it even better. And so we proclaim it.

3. The whole world is becoming a psychiatric ward, a battlefield — so proclaim Christ who came as light, and prophesy (John 1:11).
Why? The whole world will become a psychiatric ward. The whole world becomes a battlefield. It is darkness, darkness. Jesus prophesied in the last days. Only the Bible gives the precise answer. As to why things have become this way. And so in John 1:11, Christ came as light. Proclaim this light. Prophesy this light. Darkness collapses. Darkness is invisible to the eye. It is pitch black. No matter how much you try to get rid of it, it does not go away. It does not disappear through effort. Darkness disappears immediately when light enters. Spiritually, this darkness disappears immediately when the light of Christ shines.

※ Because you are ambassadors of Christ, on the path you travel, the authority of Satan, disaster, and hell collapses.
You must carry this as you go. King, prophet, priest. On the path you travel, Satan will be bound. Why? Because you are an ambassador. On the path you travel, disaster collapses. The authority of that hell is bound. That is certain, is it not? Convey this light.

▣ Main — To whom must it be conveyed?
Then let us enter the Main and look briefly. How, and to whom must it be conveyed?

1. Shine this light on me first. — Pray so that the 7.7.7 prayer comes upon me
First I must shine the light on the darkness within me. On myself. I pray most of all for the 7.7.7 prayer to come upon me. What does it mean for it to come upon me?

1) Genesis 1:3 — the light of creation
In Genesis 1:3, as the light of creation. When you receive Christ, as the light of creation. There was a person who was about to die from mental illness, and the moment he received Christ, it was finished. That person had only been a believer for a few days. It ends right away. People who have been like that too long cannot receive Christ easily, so it does not end. In fact, they cannot receive him. And so the light of creation must shine upon me.

2) Isaiah 60:1-12 — the light of restoration
It is Isaiah 60:1-2. The light of restoration shines upon us. This has come upon me. Who is Christ? He is the one who comes to me as the light of creation. Christ is the one who comes as the light that restores my incompetence.

3) Matthew 5:13-16 — the light of identity
Matthew 5:13-16 — he restored to us the light of identity. Identity. He did not say “become the light of the world” — he said “you are the light of the world.” You must believe this. When you believe, darkness trembles. When you do not believe, darkness does not fear you at all. You are the light of the world. And so the remnants think: ah, I have within me the light of God, of Christ, for the world. Knowing that, just quietly pray at school and see what happens. People who are to be saved will come looking for you. If that does not happen, go visit a very famous demon-possessed fortune teller. The moment they see you, they will know immediately. This light is frightening. Because you have heard it so many times, you do not know it. A person who was in that darkness just received the name of Christ — a work of history has happened. In a remote place, someone is just praying, whatever it is — they are trembling, the person is completely strange. Christ has been proclaimed to that person, and a work of history has happened.

4) 1 Peter 2:9 — the light of authority
Today, 1 Peter 2:9 is the light of authority. Take this light of authority given from above and go. First of all, to me.

2. Proclaim this light to the world.
The second one. Now proclaim this light to the world. What kind of world?

1) Proclaim to those afflicted with the Nephilim disease (Acts 16:16-18, Acts 3:6, John 17:11-12).
Proclaim to those afflicted with the Nephilim disease. Paul commanded, “In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, I command you, you impure spirit, come out!” — and it left. Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Pray an important prayer. The answer will certainly come. People do not believe in the enormity of that name. It was called the name of the Lord. John 17:11-12.

2) Shine the light of Christ on those afflicted with the disease of the 3 groups that began in Genesis chapters 3, 6, and 11.
Those afflicted with the 3 groups disease are still continuing in it right now. The 3 groups disease right now is not the fault of the 3 groups. It originally started in Genesis chapter 3. It is not America’s fault. It started in Genesis chapter 6. It started in Genesis chapter 11. And it is continuing right now. Shine the light of Christ there — that is what I am saying. To the world.

3) Proclaim the light of Christ in the name of Jesus Christ to the 5,000 tribes plunged into darkness through idol worship.
And there is more. The 5,000 tribes who have come to be in darkness through idol worship are completely in the dark. I do not know about now, but when I went to Taiwan, there were idols in every home. Those in Taiwan, check for yourselves. I gathered about ten children and asked those who cannot sleep properly, who are sleep-paralyzed, who are tormented by demons to raise their hands. It was 8 or 9 of them. Among the 5,000 tribes there is no need to even say it. It is serious. Nothing else works there. Shine the light of Christ. Proclaim that too. It is simple. In the name of Jesus Christ.

3. Spread this light to the next generation throughout the whole world.
Also, spread this light to the next generation throughout the whole world.

1) Create three courtyard. A great road will open.
And so the instruction is to create three courtyards. Going forward, when three courtyards are established, a great road will open.

2) Create the three-day weekend age and change what has been imprinted.
And so create the three-day weekend age and quickly change what has been imprinted. They cannot even pray. They do not even know how to pray. It must be changed quickly. Evangelism? They cannot do it. It must be changed. 70% of churches in South Korea are financially dependent. They are not doing evangelism. Churches in America are closing. Disasters are abundant. It must be changed. The three-day weekend age. All that needs to happen is to change what has been imprinted. Cancer treatment — is it possible? Yes. Just change what has been imprinted. Mental illness treatment — is it possible? Yes. Just change what has been imprinted. And so quickly open the three-day weekend age and change our children. Dozens of called workers from Incheon are coming to our church to worship, and I met them briefly today. Tell the church, tell the administration office — without worrying about anything, freely bring children, train them in the three-day weekend age, and do it freely.

3) Create the holy meditation age so that they can survive wherever they go.
Our children must survive wherever they go. The holy meditation age. Do these three things, I am saying. This is conveying the light there. Darkness — there is nothing else to it. If caught by Satan, can anything work? There is no way to avoid disaster. No matter how powerful a nation, there is no way to avoid it. As for undeveloped nations, there is no need to even mention them. When you look closely, the background is terrifying. Proclaim the light. Prophesy this light in the name of Jesus Christ.

▣ Conclusion
Let me conclude.

1. Every day receive and every day convey the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of Christ.
Going forward the age of remote work will come. This means working from home. Also, an age of non-face-to-face delivery and delivery services will come. Things will continue to develop professionally. Also, an age of non-face-to-face finance will come. What will happen? Spiritual problems will become serious. It is unpredictable. We cannot even know which jobs will disappear or change. And so missionaries and our remnants — every day receive the 7.7.7 through prayer. What will happen? Amazing things will occur. And so convey this bartizan of the throne, the journey, and the guidepost. That is conveying the light. Because the light is Christ. Every day receive and every day convey the bartizan, journey, and guidepost of Christ.

2. With this, find the 7 points.
With this, find the 7 points.

3. Unconditionally make it 300%.
And what else? Unconditionally make it 300%. Especially the remnants. Our young adults and church leaders are busy. Everything must be done at 300%. If it cannot be 300%, do not start. A laborer came to Korea to earn money. A foreign laborer. I roughly checked how much he received — they said 700,000 won at that time. He did not spend it and saved it up to go back to his hometown. This person received the gospel. Having received the gospel, change began to happen. He changed all his thinking completely. He enrolled in RTS. Why? Ah, I must know this gospel. He prayed and worked so hard that he speaks Korean better than I do. And evangelism fruit is happening enormously right now. Because it is a Muslim country, they arrested him intending to kill him. He was not afraid at all. He contacted me at that time. “Pastor, I am all right. Do not worry. I am okay with dying. Bangladesh needs Christ.” That is astonishing. People like this are rising up right now. I quietly thought about it. Wow, can someone really become like that under such bad conditions? Even those with everything in place cannot do it, yet these people have nothing in place. That is what is called 300%. That person prepared 300% in Korea. Returning to his own country, a work of history happened.

※ Imprint the authority of heaven and earth in your soul, the authority of the throne in your life, and the authority of the name of Christ in your future.
Imprint the authority of heaven and earth in your soul. Imprint the authority of the throne in your life. That comes first. Imprint the guidepost of the throne and the authority of the name of Christ in your future. This year many thankful works of history have happened. Including our church, many church leaders gave offerings and prayed, and much fruit has come about. Because of the war, airfare has risen several times over. Even so, more called workers came than last year. As I watch what God is doing, I am truly grateful and give glory to God. Missionaries, as you return, I hope you will be the key figures who absolutely establish the bartizan. Then you absolutely travel the journey. Then, even when you return, you establish the absolute guidepost that continues. I will pray.

Prayer. We give thanks to God. Let us enjoy what God has given us. Let us restore what Christ, who saves the world, has given us. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

 

Christ’s Final Mission

「Christ’s Final Mission」 (Ac 1:1-14)


I am grateful. This is the last mission of Jesus Christ.

Now you must go back and do ministry, but there are a few things to think about. We hold onto the Word and pray — but how is the Word to be fulfilled, and how should prayer be answered? That is something to think about a bit. The answer is to be within the Word and within prayer. How the answer comes is something God will do. There is always an order. The throne, the kingdom, the works of the kingdom. There is an order. The scale and speed of it is something God regulates. Many people know quite a lot that is not the gospel. Something that cannot happen — it truly is a miracle — they say it happened that way. Of course, the parting of the Red Sea and the parting of the Jordan are things that cannot happen, yet they did part. It is the same with academics. “I am so fortunate that God made things go so well for me.” That is a grateful thing to say — but that is not it. You must be 300% prepared. That is what God has given. It is the same with your health. There may be times when you feel okay and times when you feel better, but we must heal the root cause. Experiences? Do not try too hard to have them. Not many people have succeeded that way. If God gives you an experience, then have it at that time. But to be within what is being accomplished is the best thing. Many people think they must receive a special answer, but to be within what God is working out is the best thing. People who truly enjoy answered prayer are unrelated to whether an answer comes or does not come. Because the Lord is my shepherd, I lack not even a single thing. There is no stopping that. I will die if I die. That is the real answer. Even just understanding the Word brings history. And so the greatest answer is for me to be within the blessing of what is being accomplished that God gives. This is to say that I am within what God is doing. There is only one urgent thing. I must make effort, and there is only one urgent thing. The only urgent thing is to save people who are dying in destruction if we do not go now. How to do our work well — that too is important, but the important thing is to do well ordinarily and then save the urgent person. Think carefully about this — saving those dying in destruction is the urgent thing. Nothing else is urgent. My affairs God is in charge of. That is how it has been for us throughout our lives. Making what I do into 300% is faith. That is the answer. Joseph had expertise. He saved the field. He saved the future. That is 300%. David honed the highest skills. But that was not David’s purpose. David’s purpose was future world evangelization. So, while in his situation, he prepared many things — skill, praise, poetry. And so in a certain sense, believing is the answer.

Introduction

1. Authority of heaven, Earth
Christ said he had all authority in heaven and on earth. He said he would always be with us. At that time two kinds of people appeared. Those who doubted appeared, and those who worshiped appeared. Faith — that is the answer. That is the blessing. Jesus made a promise. Since world evangelization cannot happen by mere strength alone, he gave all authority in heaven and on earth completely. He promised to be with us. This Word coming upon me is the answer. This time many missionaries are receiving answers and going.

2. Authority of Throne
Since it cannot be done by our strength, he promised for forty days that he would be with us and give authority through the power of the throne. This itself is the blessing.

3. Authority of The Name
By that name before which darkness trembles. Believing this is the blessing. If you do not believe, it is of no use at all. We have nothing urgent.

[Main] Bartizan Journey Guidepost
Christ erected the bartizan for us. As I prayed, it became 7 bartizans. Christ explained the journey in full. And he explained guideposts here and there — Jerusalem, Samaria, the ends of the earth. This is the urgent thing. Nothing else is urgent.

1. Best Time
So from now, have the best time of your life. What kind of thing is the best time? I have thought about it.

1) 1:3
It says that Jesus spent forty days explaining the works of the kingdom of God — then could we be indifferent to that? What is this? I had this time. And that was forty years ago when I was an associate pastor. The church? No gospel. Fighting every day. Making enemies of one another. Even using God’s Word to kill people rather than to save them. That is why it was such fierce fighting. At that time I was thinking wrongly. I went early in the morning for forty days to pray, taking notes as I prayed. I prayed for God to quickly send me somewhere good. I prayed that I could not stay in this kind of church. That was my prayer. After doing that for forty days I realized it was a wrong prayer. Do what you must do now. It was utterly foolish. I was missing everything I had to do right then and worrying about the future, wondering what to do. At that time an epochal answer came to me. In the midst of all the fighting, the church members reported to the senior pastor. “Pastor, our church has many people with a calling.” I will raise up those with a calling. I will make those with a calling into evangelists. Let us start an evangelism school at our school, at our church. I will do the training. The pastor said okay. There truly were many people with a calling. I had thought there were only people who were fighting, but once I held what God wanted, truly called people emerged. With that blessing I went to Yeongdo and started with the evangelism school there too. When pastors gathered at first, I started with the evangelism school. When called workers emerged overseas, I started with the evangelism school. It is the best schedule of my life. That is what I think. Until when? Until the mission becomes visible. The answer is important, but until the mission becomes visible.

2) 2:1(Always)
The second one. How did this answer come? “When the day of Pentecost had fully come.” That is how it came. Like a fool I asked why he had sent me here. The Jews spent all their time on three festival events. Looking at what happened in the early church opened my eyes. The background of salvation, the Holy Spirit, and the throne — it is day by day. More than that. Always. I came to realize that. Someone like me with no ability. This ability must always be in me. And what can I teach the congregation? If I go into any specialized field, I have to learn everything from you. Then what am I supposed to teach? The answer came. This is the real answer. And then at the ninth hour of prayer — it just poured out.

3) 3 concentration, 24, 25, 00, 2:9-11, 2:17-18, 2:41, 2:42, 2:46-47
And so I started first with the 3 concentrations. When you wake up in the morning, do not set a long time. Then you cannot pray. Just continuously. Because you go around with your mouth open, you breathe with your lungs when you wake up in the morning. And your brain has already sustained much damage. It must be healed. For several hours. Breathing deeply for several hours, you must restore everything through all kinds of prayer. Your lungs are shrinking. The hormones in your body are changing. And in the daytime, what is it? The people you meet are a time of blessing. When I look at people through the eyes of evangelism, that person looks extremely precious to me. An elder looks precious. That is the blessing of the daytime hours. When I look at someone who has done wrong, I do not see them with hatred but with pity. I think I hope that person will go straight and do well. An elder must be able to look at a pastor and see something precious. When pastors look at church leaders, they should not look at their shortcomings but see their strengths and what is precious in them. Among what we hear, see, and say, tremendous blessings are contained. Then at night 300% comes out naturally. It does not come out because you have been looking wrongly. Joseph — if he goes to Egypt gnashing his teeth the way you might, it is over. Those who pray know. This is the schedule going to fulfill God’s absolute plan. Pastor Shin Joon-ho’s father was a very important person, but he passed away as he was old. He passed away not long ago. I could not go to pay my respects. When Pastor Shin Joon-ho came, I did not give him a condolence gift. I gave him a congratulatory gift. Congratulating him on his entry into the kingdom of heaven. Because? He lived enjoying the throne and then went to heaven. Blessings are contained within every moment of life. Clerks fighting among themselves and doing that kind of thing — that is complete rubbish. Where is there time to fight? You absolutely must do this. Because you truly must save the world. Conflict and such things — there is none. Did David have conflict because of Saul? As I prayed like this, finally 24, 25, eternity began to come into view. Then look at this completely — in 15 countries, the people God has prepared are visible. There is nothing to worry about. The future is visible. “Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” And then 3,000 disciples rose up. From that point worship comes alive. Those whose worship is not coming alive need to be a bit concerned. “Following the apostles’ teaching” — this means following the Word. How precious those people seated in front are — I am so grateful. “And fellowship” — when I think about being saved, I am just grateful no matter how many times I think of it. “Breaking of bread” — and then there is nothing that cannot be done through prayer. “Devoting themselves to prayer.” That is worship. Right now I am talking about worship. From this point the Word is fulfilled day by day. Day by day in the temple, day by day in homes.

2. Field(works of God)
The second one. Finally, when you go to the field, you can see God at work.

1) 3:1-12
Before, you looked but could not see. It is when these eyes are opened that you can see. What? The lame man sitting at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. He was there before too. After receiving the fullness of the Holy Spirit and grace, when Peter opened these eyes, he could see. There is a neighborhood that all the people of Jerusalem hate the most. That became visible.

2) 8:4-8
Samaria. Right now it sounds ordinary to you, but that Samaria is a region of absolute sworn enemies to the Jerusalem Jews. He went there. While going along the road, the Spirit of the Lord — this begins to open up. The Holy Spirit of the Lord came to Philip.

3) 8:26-40
The Ethiopian eunuch had been prepared. Even right now, while holding Sunday worship, we must worship within prayer. You must not worship while your mind is on something else. What kind of worship is that? It is just chanting.

4) 13:1-12
And then look at this. God had prepared a figure called Paul. And what kind of field did these people see? Everything was completely prepared. They saw the field of a shaman — because of this an entire town was plunged into darkness — they saw that.

5) 16:6-40
Looking at Acts chapter 16, the door of evangelism was blocked for Paul. To someone with eyes to see the field, even this is not being blocked. To Macedonia. Going there too, he went looking for a place of prayer in the field. There he met Lydia. After meeting Lydia and the mission home starting there, he cast out the demon from the demon-possessed woman. The merchants sued because of that. A work broke out in the prison. Verse 40. You must see what God is doing at work in the field. Believing in God? That is easy. Not believing in God? That is impossible. I have been saved? That is natural. I have not been saved? That cannot be done. Where does this get you?

6) 17:1-9
He was led to a region where the most important road to Rome passes through. To Thessalonica. That is how God led him. And then he met a complete guardian who would help Paul do mission for his entire life.

7) 18:1-4
Corinth. The couple Priscilla and Aquila. The moment these people met Paul, they staked their lives. On the path our missionaries take, figures who stake their lives to raise up evangelists will appear. This is not all there is.

3. Future(prepare)
It is about seeing the future. It is about seeing what God has prepared. This becomes visible.

1) Romans 16:25-27
And so when people came flooding in as in Romans chapter 16, God gave what was completely hidden. Hidden people. Hidden things. The hidden card that came out in the message this time.

2) 17:1, 18:4, 19:8
And look at this. To the synagogue. The future is there. Because the future is in the children.

3) 28:30-31(AD.70)
And what happened? In the last chapter of Acts, chapter 28, no one could hinder the Word of God on the path Paul traveled. The Word cannot be stopped. The gospel cannot be stopped. At this time these things happened. Now do you understand why he went into the synagogues? Now do you understand why the church leaders of Romans chapter 16 were prepared? At this time Israel collapsed. The remnants now began to scatter to the world. At that time the 7 points emerged. The remnant, the pilgrim — all of it comes.

Conclusion

1. Time of Evangelist
Have the time of the evangelist. The time of gaining strength. Eyes that change the field. You cannot change the field itself. Eyes that change the field. Only then does the answer come.

2. Today
Now having the time of the evangelist, do not miss today. You arrived at Potiphar’s house as a slave — create the greatest masterpiece there. Do not miss today. While David was a shepherd boy, he found all the blessings there. Praise, poetry, skill — he found them all.

3. Now
Do not miss right now. Right now. At any time. What kind of place is this? This is not a place where members of the National Assembly hold meetings. Assembly member meetings are precious too, but this is not that kind of place. The ambassadors of Christ who must evangelize the world are gathered here. Enjoy it right now. Right now. When discouraging thoughts come, gain strength right now. When you are about to be shaken, gain strength at that moment. Not tomorrow. Right now. That is how we go. You need not worry about the future. God has the future prepared. World evangelization will certainly happen. It has never once been stopped. Even if everyone fails to do it, Luther alone being raised up means it happens. When Israel suffered seven disasters, through the remnants, through one or two people, everything was restored. The gospel has never been interrupted. And so every day you must gain strength. I bless you in the name of Jesus Christ. I will pray.

Prayer. We give thanks to God. We thank you for calling us as ambassadors of Christ. Let us serve with the posture of a servant. Let us be devoted to saving the whole world. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

 

Proclaiming the Gospel: How Do You Begin?

Matthew 10:5-15. These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.

“Do not get any gold or silver or copper to take with you in your belts— 10 no bag for the journey or extra shirt or sandals or a staff, for the worker is worth his keep. 11 Whatever town or village you enter, search there for some worthy person and stay at their house until you leave. 12 As you enter the home, give it your greeting. 13 If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. 14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. 15 Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.


God has chosen youyes, you—to save lives through the power of the gospel. This is not a calling reserved only for pastors, missionaries, or theologians. It is the mandate given to every believer. But how should you carry out the task of proclaiming the gospel? Jesus gives us the answer.

Begin close to home. Jesus instructed His disciples to seek out “the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Mt 10:5–6). Begin with those nearest to them, those already within reach.

Look around your life. Is there someone you know who is discouraged, drifting, or drowning in despair? Is there a friend wrestling with doubt, struggling to believe what they once held dear? Is there someone who has quietly walked away from the faith because they were wounded by the church?

These are your lost sheep. Do not wait for them to come to you. Go to them. Sit with them. Encourage them with the living Word of God, which alone has the power to revive what has become dead.

When you speak, proclaim nothing but the “kingdom of heaven” (Mt 10:7). This is the central message of the gospel. Do not dilute it with anything. The kingdom of heaven is the only answer.

When someone genuinely believes the gospel that Jesus is the Christ, the kingdom of God comes upon them, and everything changes. The sins of the past are forgiven. The anxieties of the present are turned into thanksgiving. The uncertainties of the future are secured in the hands of God.

The Holy Spirit takes up permanent residence within them (1 Corinthians 3:16). No philosophy, therapy, or human achievement can accomplish what the gospel does. Nothing else will change a person’s eternal destiny.

You are not alone in this work. As you proclaim the gospel, God Himself works alongside you, confirming His Word through signs that accompany it. bringing healing and restoration (Matthew 10:8, Mark 16:19-20). Don’t worry about the results; you just need to be faithful. Step out in faith, and watch what God does.

Jesus was direct: “Do not get any gold or silver or copper to take with you in your belts” (Mt 10:9). God takes care of His evangelists. Those who carry the gospel are not to be driven by financial ambition or personal gain. The message of grace must never be exploited for profit. Trust that the God who sends you will also provide for you.

Not everyone will receive your message. Jesus knew this when He sent His disciples out. Do not be surprised, and do not be discouraged when people turn away. Remember this truth: “All who were appointed for eternal life believed” (Ac 13:48). Salvation ultimately rests not on the eloquence of your words, but on the sovereignty of God. He is the Lord of the harvest. Trust Him with the results. Your calling is to sow faithfully; His responsibility is to bring the harvest in.

As you go, you will carry both joys and sorrows—doors opened and slammed shut, lives transformed and hearts hardened. Through it all, commit everything into the hands of your Father. Jesus promised that the peace you carry as you proclaim the gospel of peace will return to you (Matthew 10:13). You cannot give what you do not have. You have the only life-saving message of the gospel that Jesus is the Christ. Rest in Him. Let His peace guard your heart so that you can continue to pour it out for others.

Above all, never forget where you began: you were lost, and you were found. You were dead, and you were made alive. You received the gift of salvation not because you earned it, but because of grace,  the unmerited favor of God. “Freely you have received; freely give” (Matthew 10:8). Let that be the background in which you go. Not reluctantly but with open hands and an overflowing heart.


Prayer. Father, I thank You for calling me into Your harvest field. What an undeserved privilege to carry a message that changes everything! Fill me with Your Spirit. Give me eyes to see the lost sheep around me and courage to proclaim Your kingdom without compromise. Help me follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Qualifications of the Evangelist

Matthew 10:1-4. Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.


Evangelists are those whom God calls according to His sovereign purpose—the proclamation of the gospel and the ministry of healing. They are not self-appointed, nor are they selected based on human qualifications, but on God’s grace. To them, God entrusts authority over the kingdom of darkness so that the work of Christ may be revealed through their lives. Jesus said,

For you did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you” (John 15:16).

Before sending them into the world, God first calls them into fellowship with Himself. The priority is not doing, but being with Him:

He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons” (Mark 3:13–15).

Jesus did not choose the influential, the wealthy, or the religious elite, such as the Pharisees or scribes. Instead, He called ordinary people from Galilee—men without status in the eyes of the world. This was not because weakness is required for evangelism, but because God’s power is revealed apart from human boasting. Paul explains this divine wisdom clearly:

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God…” (1 Corinthians 1:18–25).

God deliberately chose what the world considers weak and foolish so that no one may boast before Him. He saves through the preaching of the gospel itself—what the world dismisses as weakness is, in fact, the very power of God.

Therefore, God has never relied on those who treat the gospel as something secondary or intellectual. Instead, He delights to save the world through the “foolishness of preaching”—the simple proclamation of Christ.

If you feel weak, do not be discouraged. Rather, learn to boast in your weakness. For it is precisely there that Christ’s power rests on you. When you are weak in yourself, you discover true strength in Him (2 Corinthians 12:1–10).

Trust the One whose “foolishness” is wiser than all human wisdom, and whose “weakness” is stronger than all human strength. God has called you with eternity in mind. Though you may feel lacking in many ways, Christ who lives in you is sufficient, complete, and perfect. Be assured that the good work God began in you will continue until it is fully completed on the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

God uses those who hunger for His Word and the gospel—those who share the mind of Christ Jesus, whose hearts are broken over what breaks God’s heart, and who are willing to follow Christ to the end. He uses those who consider their lives worth nothing compared to the calling of finishing the race and completing the task entrusted to them (Acts 20:24).

If you have received and believed the gospel as the ultimate answer to your life, then you are God’s chosen instrument to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ to all nations. Your response is simple yet eternal: answer His urgent call and follow Him.


Prayer. Father, I thank You for choosing me as Your instrument for the gospel. I am weak and lacking in every way, but I will gladly boast in my weakness so that the power of Christ may be revealed in me. Take my life and use it for Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Historical Facts Regarding the Flood and the Reason

▣ Introduction
The account of Noah’s flood includes specific details of date, place, and people, making it a historical record. Then why did God carry out such a fearsome work? Today, the three organizations have raised the Nephilim movement, conquering politics, the economy, and culture. Within this reality, the number of mental problems and afflictions is increasing, yet the church is unable to provide answers. We must understand the reason disasters inevitably come and convey that answer.

1. The cause of the age of the Nephilim (Genesis 6:4)
1) Three backgrounds
(1) Genesis 3:1-6
(2) Genesis 6:1-20
(3) Genesis 11:1-8
2) Idol worship
(1) Exodus 20:4–5 — Disasters come upon the third and fourth generations because of idol worship.
(2) 1 Corinthians 10:20 — Idol worship is serving demons.
(3) Colossians 3:5–6 — Greed is idol worship.
(4) Revelation 14:9–12 — God’s wrath comes upon those who practice idol worship.
3) Satan’s activity — The age of the Nephilim refers to an age completely dominated by Satan through idol worship. This is why disasters inevitably come.
4) The reason for our mission and proclamation of the gospel — We must save those trapped in idol worship. God brings all answers when an evangelist who blocks the age of the Nephilim arises.

2. The age of corruption (Genesis 6:5)
1) The world was filled with wickedness.
2) The evil of mankind filled the earth, and every inclination of the human heart was only evil all the time.
3) The earth had become corrupt, and all people on earth had corrupted their ways (Genesis 6:12).
4) They did not repent even when the flood began (Genesis 7:7–10).

3. The incident of Noah’s flood as a model of hell
1) Hell is the eternal prison prepared for the devil (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 14:9–10).
2) What kind of people go to hell?
(1) Those who follow the ways of the devil with unresolved sin.
(2) Those who refuse God’s grace.
(3) John 8:44
3) What is hell? (Luke 16:19–31)
(1) It is a place without God’s divine grace.
(2) It is a place deprived even of common grace.
(3) It is a place where no one can cross over; there is no fellowship.

▣ Conclusion: The three ages that block disasters (Genesis 8:20-22)
The account of Noah’s flood is a historically verifiable event with evidence. Jesus prophesied that His Second Coming would be like the days of Noah.

Therefore, all churches must restore the three courtyards that can block the age of disasters and open the age of the three-day weekend age to prevent disasters for future generations. You must also open the age of holy meditation to save the field with the power of the throne, surpassing the Nephilim summit.

1. The Lord’s final message given to those who will evangelize the world (World Missions Conference Message)
1) He promised that He would be with us through all authority in heaven and on earth, the authority of the throne, and the authority of the name of Christ.
2) The turning point – the prepared ones from 15 nations (Mark’s Upper Room), the scattered ones (Antioch), and the hidden card (Rome)

2. How should we proclaim this?
1) We must convey Christ accurately.
Christ is the true King who completely broke the authority of Satan, the true Priest who stops disasters, and the true Prophet who leads us to God. The combination of these three roles is called “Christ.”

3. As ambassadors of Christ, what must we do?
1) “Proclaim this light” – because Christ came as the Light, and people are dying in darkness.
2) “Speak the Word. Proclaim the breath of life” – because we do not have the power within ourselves to give the Word and life.
3. “Proclaim the light in the name of Christ” – because Christ has finished everything and commanded us to pray in His name.

1) Because people are completely bound by Satan’s 12 strategies, and even the church is being deceived by Satan’s 5 strategies.
2) Because they are trapped in spiritual ignorance, spiritual powerlessness, and spiritual problems, proclaim the light in the name of Christ (Acts 4:12).
3) As the whole world becomes like a mental hospital and a battlefield, proclaim and declare Christ who came as the Light (John 1:11).

1. First, shine this light upon yourself – pray the most so that the 7·7·7 prayer comes upon you.
1) Genesis 1:3 – The light of creation: when you accept Christ, the light of creation shines upon you.
2) Isaiah 60:1–12 – The light of restoration shines.
3) Matthew 5:13–16 – The light of identity has been restored: “You are the light of the world.”
4) 1 Peter 2:9 – The light of authority: go with the authority given from above.

2. Proclaim this light to the world
1) Proclaim it to those afflicted by Nephilim-related oppression (Acts 16:16–18; 3:6; John 17:11–12—the name of the Lord).
2) Shine the light of Christ to those caught in the influence of the three organizations that began in Genesis 3, 6, and 11.
3) Proclaim the light of Christ in the name of Jesus Christ to the 5,000 tribes trapped in darkness through idol worship.

3. Spread this light to the future generations of the world
1) Establish the three courtyards. Highways will be opened.
2) Create the three-day weekend age and change what has been imprinted.
3) Establish the age of holy meditation so that people can survive anywhere.

The Privileges of the Evangelist

Matthew 10:1. And Jesus called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.


There are three primary ways we experience the evidence of the living God in our daily lives: through the Word, through prayer, and through evangelism. These are living channels through which God continues to reveal Himself, fulfill His promises, and work in history.

First, God still fulfills His Word today: “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).

God’s Word is living and active. Rather than chasing after signs, wonders, or extraordinary experiences, we are called to root ourselves deeply in the Word that God has already spoken. When His Word is stored in our hearts and believed in faith, we begin to witness its fulfillment unfolding in our lives, often in ways we did not expect but always in ways that are perfect in His timing and purpose.

Second, God answers our prayers continually, day and night: “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).

Prayer is being with the living God. Scripture reveals that when we pray, heaven responds. Even when we are unaware of what is happening in the spiritual realm, God is working through His Spirit. Our prayers are brought before His throne:

“And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer… and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God” (Revelation 8:3–4).

In other words, prayer is presented before God. He hears, remembers, and responds according to His perfect will. Every sincere prayer matters to our Father, and nothing spoken in faith is wasted.

Third, God works with us in the field of evangelism: “Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it” (Mark 16:20).

Evangelism is the ongoing work of Christ. As we go into the world with the gospel, God Himself works with us, confirming His Word. The reality of the Triune God becomes most evident when His people step out to proclaim Christ, and He responds with His power.

For this spiritual battle of evangelism, God does not require human qualifications or abilities. Instead, He has already given us spiritual authority: authority over unclean spirits and authority to drive them out.

Why is this necessary? Because Scripture declares that the world is under the influence of the evil one (Hebrews 2:14), and the devil actively works through impure spirits to steal, kill, and destroy lives (John 10:10). Evangelism, therefore, is not merely persuasion—it is spiritual confrontation.

Jesus taught that we first bind the strong man: “Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man?” (Matthew 12:29).

Through Christ, we have been given authority to confront and overcome spiritual forces of darkness. Jesus Christ, who possesses all authority in heaven and on earth, is our eternal foundation. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God who created all things, now dwells within us.

Therefore, when we stand in the authority of Christ and command in His name, the enemy must flee. Darkness is broken, and those who were blinded begin to see the light of the gospel.

God has also given us authority to minister healing: “Heal every disease and every affliction.” The world is filled with spiritual bondage under Satan’s power (Acts 10:38), emotional burdens and exhaustion (Matthew 11:28), and physical sickness and suffering (Acts 8:4–8). Humanity’s greatest need is not merely external improvement but true healing that comes from God.

Scripture shows us that Jesus ministered healing through His Word: When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick” (Matthew 8:16).

Jesus addressed spiritual oppression first, and through His Word, healing flowed into every area of life. Real healing always begins spiritually. It is the Word of Christ that restores the human soul.

When a person receives this spiritual healing, God’s grace begins to work deeply within them, bringing restoration to the heart and mind:

“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matthew 11:29–30).

As inner healing takes place, emotional and mental restoration follows. And in God’s time, even physical healing is revealed as part of His redemptive work. Isaiah prophesied concerning Christ: “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering” (Isaiah 53:4).

On the cross, Jesus carried the root of all suffering, original sin, which brings about spiritual, emotional, and physical brokenness. Therefore, healing comes only through faith in God’s covenant and His Word.

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit… it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).

God is reminding us again of the privilege He has given us: the highest calling of proclaiming the gospel. Let us therefore go to the places where Christ is not yet known.


Prayer. Father, I thank You for the privilege You have given me to proclaim the gospel. Help me to remember who I am and what I have received in every meeting and in every place You send me. Let Your Word, Your authority, and Your Spirit work through my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Satan Fears Evangelism

Acts 4:1-4. The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people. They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people, proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. They seized Peter and John and, because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day. But many who heard the message believed; so the number of men who believed grew to about five thousand.


Why does Satan fear evangelism so much?

Evangelism proclaims a message he cannot withstand: that in Jesus Christ there is life beyond death—“the resurrection of the dead” (Acts 4:2). Wherever this message is heard and believed, people are transferred from darkness to light, from bondage to freedom. As the number of those who belong to Christ increases, the influence of the kingdom of darkness weakens. Evangelism is not merely persuasion or religious activity; it is the announcement of a decisive victory already won.

For this reason, Satan fears those who hold to the true gospel, who not only understand it but have experienced its power, and who proclaim without compromise that Jesus is the Christ. He has no authority over such people. When they rise, they do not come with human strength but with the light of the gospel, and that light exposes and drives out darkness. The issue is not eloquence or personality, but the truth that has authority because it comes from God.

He also fears a church that embraces its calling. The early church did not limit the gospel to a place or a time; “day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ” (Acts 5:42). This kind of persistence is threatening because it leaves no room for darkness to settle. It advances steadily, reaching lives, homes, and communities.

Jesus Himself gave the assurance: “On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it” (Matthew 16:18). The church built on the confession of Christ is advancing. They overcome every evil scheme of the devil. This is still God’s design today: a church that moves forward with the gospel, not one that retreats in fear.

Evangelism centers on the name of Jesus Christ. Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, declared that the healing of the lame man was “by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth” (Acts 4:8–10). That name represents the finished work of Christ. It is the name that destroyed the works of the devil, broke the power of sin, and opened the way to God. “There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Because everything rests on this name, Satan opposes its proclamation more than anything else.

Evangelism also brings visible transformation. The man healed in Acts 3 had lived for over forty years in helplessness. No religious system could restore him; at best, it could only offer temporary relief. But when he encountered the power of Jesus’ name, his condition was completely reversed. This kind of undeniable change silences opposition. Even those who resist the message cannot easily dismiss the evidence of transformed lives.

That is why opposition arises. When the gospel advances, people are disturbed. Authorities question, threaten, and attempt to silence the message (Acts 4:1–3, 7, 17). This pattern is consistent throughout history. The struggle is not merely against people but against deeper forces that resist the truth (Ephesians 6:12). Yet those efforts ultimately fail, because the message does not originate from human authority.

Ironically, opposition often reveals the weakness of darkness. Scripture describes a reaction of anger and urgency because “his time is short” (Revelation 12:12). What appears as strength is often desperation. The gospel does not retreat under pressure; it continues to move forward.

Therefore, there is no need for fear. The outcome is certain. The One who sends the message is greater than any resistance it encounters. When believers speak the gospel, they do so not alone but empowered by the Holy Spirit. What is required is not confidence in self, but trust in the One who works through them from the Throne (Mark 16:19-20).

The proper response is to remain steady: to pray, to wait on God’s timing, and to move in step with His direction (Acts 1:4). When faced with opposition, the early believers did not ask for safety but for boldness: “enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness” (Acts 4:29). The answer they received was the filling of the Holy Spirit and renewed courage (Acts 4:31).

In the end, the question is not whether the gospel will prevail, but whether we will participate in its advance. Evangelism matters because it declares the victory Christ has won and calls people to live in that reality.


Prayer. Father, thank You for the authority You have given through Jesus Christ. Lead me to those who need to hear the gospel. Give me clarity, boldness, and love as I speak. Let Your Spirit work through me so that lives may be restored and Your name made known. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
